Last time the unexpected happened. For the training trip from hell was cut short by your surrender to a Necromancer bitch and with the aid of Mister Neutral after you made some rather...large mistakes. Which was why you ended up burning a boon and impressed a lot of bitches. After that you returned to boss to new knowledge and objectives. Where you were given much freedom in trying to hash out. Which was why you took a trip to a megacity and then went back to the city where the survivors knew you to increase relations. Which worked well until one day you decided to get lost ran into an interesting group. There you stole a pair of panties that were being fought over and returned them to their owner. A Crazy Crazy Ravager trying to find her fiance. After departing ways you somehow got lost again ending up at said Ravager's place. Before leaving once more and crashed in your apartment. Ignoring a bandit raid and after discovering you suck at building stuff. You trained their militia a bit and arranged an arms shipment.

After that you decide to get lost trying to find a good place to build a settlement. There you encountered a town in oddly good condition and with few threats. Yet for some reason the comms didn't work. Thus you ended up having to leave go back to your boss after noting its location.

At the boss's place meanwhile you found out that for some reason there was some strange event going on or 'holidays'. As the bots were decorated strangely, there were odd furniture and foods available.

What do?

You decide to first of all stop by your place. That was how you found a very...festive outfitted Foxy who practically pounced on you once you stepped through the door. You didn't think she was the very festive kind and you were also expecting to get literally fucked...which didn't happen. Instead she dragged you over to a chair by a christmas tree and said that a spirit came by bearing gifts for everyone. She also got you something...

That was when you realized you had a very big problem...you didn't bring back any gifts. Oh fuck now your gonna get pissed off again. Last time that happened you became a boy(fuck) toy to a very angry and sadistic Foxy. That was how you unwrapped Foxy's gift. Which was a tome of necromancy. At first you weren't that impressed until you opened it. That was when you realized that the necromancer who created this tome...was also a psi magus like yourself.

How the flying FUCK did Foxy manage to not only find a psi magus tome but even one on NECROMANCY? Psi magus materials extremely rare much less a specialty of them. The other present you found...was wrapped much more differently then Fox's present. With its sinister looking ribbons and evil looking sheeting. Yours was...much more mellow and it came with a note written about how the spirit knew what happened to you and how you lost your memory. Stating that this gift aught to help you out and just because bad things happened to you and you don't have your memories. Doesn't mean you should necessarily become a bad guy. Otherwise this will be your last gift from this spirit and the ones replacing it would of been given by the evil spirit who bears gift to those like the bandits.

Well guess that explains Foxy's weird evil looking present.

When you opened it all you found a strange box bearing a weird mark and an old photo. The photo contained an image of a younger you with a woman, some children, and other adults. One of which you realize is the Think Tank guy who knew you. The back of the photo had carefully written in beautiful writing was a list of names that gave you a strange feeling. The box meanwhile contained a letter, a pair of rings, and a data chip. There was also a note tucked in that had a PS by the spirit.

It said that once upon a time someone made the spirit make a promise in case anything unfortunate should happen and that if so delivery needed to be made. The photo was the gift from the spirit that should of been burnt to ash or otherwise long lost. The box was what it needed to deliver.

After that and buying some time from Foxy about giving her gift to her...later. You both went out to meet up with your Boss who apparently had something planned. That was how you discovered that not even Andy had been spared the...change in appearances among the bots. That was also how you encountered a strangely garbed Mister Neutral who simply said "Don't even say it and it looks like you forgot to bring gifts didn't you?"

"...I am so very fucked."

"Sign your name on this," says Mister Neutral slipping you over a piece of paper.

"...Why?"

"Lets just say it will take care of your...Foxy's gift. Or at the very least buy you some time."

"...Okay," you say signing the piece of paper that Mister Neutral then takes back and slips it into card before placing it into a letter.

"You're lucky your a boy toy otherwise that never would of worked." He finishes after handing it to Foxy who after opening it practically squeels in glee.

"...What the fuck did you put in that letter?"

"Oh well a uh...free fetishist sex coupon."

"You did WHAT?"

"Look man its not that bad. I give them out every year."

"..."

"What? Works at least once in beginning of a relationship. After that though familiarity and higher standards doesn't let it fly."

"You give out free sex coupons during this time of year? EVERY Year?"

"Fuck yeah I do. You any idea how much of a GIGANTIC pain in the ass it would be to find the right gifts for all those bitch bosses? Practically a tradition for me."

"Its true," says Beatrice."Oh I love this time of year...one of those babies are worth a fortune in the right markets."

"...Wait what?"

"Free sex coupons from a boy toy. Worth a pretty penny among bandit bitches," explains Beatrice. "Like a free high class whorehouse trip coupon but for bitches. Quite valuable. I get one every year from N which I trade for other stuff."

"...Wait so YOU were the one always selling? You any idea how much trouble that can put me in?"

"N I am not the only one who trades their's away. Its not every day a coupon for free sex comes from N. Those little pieces of paper are better then Loots in the right circles."

"So...am I safe then?"

"Oh hell no," says Beatrice. "Your forgetting something very...very important."

"What could I possibly be forgetting? I am fine right the coupon will work?"

"...N you didn't tell him did you?"

"Nah that would spoil the fun. You're not gonna ruin it are you?"

"...I thought at the very least the Shrouded One would have."

"...What? So the coupon isn't gonna work?"

"Technically it bought you some time...unless you like gave her an entire stack," states Beatrice. "But that isn't your real problem..."

"What the fuck do you mean that isn't a real problem? I don't got any fucking gifts to gi-" That was when you felt a familiar booby laden sensation as you heard a happy but very naughty voice that is now attempting to sufficate you...by accident of course.

Oh fucking god. OH FUCKING GOD SHIT FUCK.

FOXY AND THE NAUGHTY WITCH? YOUR SO UNBELIEVABLY FUCKED!

"Ah now its sinking in," sighs Mister Neutral before speaking into your mind.

"Aww i missed you too."

PLEASE FUCK STOP. WHY COULDN'T HAVE JUST BEEN THE GIFTS? Now your gonna get caught in the middle and...and oh god your so very fucked.

Worst part is you STILL gotta figure out the gifts...

That was when the very thick Naughty Witch finally let go. Letting you catch your breath as she slams a present into your arms and pats you on the head While ignorant of the fact that her large bust was trying sufficate you once more. Except the witch wanted you to see the present so it became more of a titty pillow that is no doubt gonna have Foxy extremely pissed.

You thought you were saved when the Shrouded One came before wrapped in what appeared to be ribbons instead of wraps of cloth. The Shrouded One placed another present in your other arm. Before going to sit down, sit back, and enjoy the show. Andy you noticed was also there looking in your direction.

You were able to temporarily disengage from the Naughty Witch to hand out your gifts. The shield generator to Foxy...who was less then impressed.

You gave some of what left for your magical materials to the Naughty Witch. Who like Foxy was less then impressed. It might not have helped that mos of it wasn't exactly useful to witchcraft and necromancy.

TSO meanwhile was...not impressed with the fact that your 'gift' was doing your job.

ANDY meanwhile you gave a blade. He on the other hand wasn't actually expecting to get gifts. So he was surprised.

Probably could of gotten him something better given his equipment is supplied by Boss though. You could see Foxy and Naughty Witch start clashing. For a very simple fact that just had to involve you. It is quickly becoming clear the two...really hate each other.

You took a closer look at your own presents. The Naughty Witch's gift had a flower for a bow and it appeared to be rather gloomy. The cloth itself that wrapped it appeared to be very old and when you opened it.You weren't entirely sure what you were looking at. As inside it contained at first was what you thought was a shimmering cloak...but it became a wriggling ropes before twisting into something else entirely. This time a long coat that was patterned with strange markings.

What your boss got you meanwhile was a suit of armor the like of which you had never before seen. You could tell there was some psi crystals and magic materials...that were somehow fused together seamlessly while entrenched itself into a complex network of tech. Creating a damn near impossible to decipher mess of armor. That you could only barely realize it was in fact armor.

There was also another present which you had previously missed. It was decorated with bony ribbons and its wrapping appeared to be stitched together flesh. When you opened it...revealed a box with a complicated patterns and magical shimmer glyphs. That unleashed a grey fog that sucked the life right out of you...to reveal a single black skull with white patterns. It looked as if it was carved from dark gemstone of some kind. The eye sockets meanwhile you noticed a flickering green light. While a strange cold wispy fog leaked out from the holes of its nose and mouth. Even its ear sockets and neck socket had a strange flickering light inside.

That was when it occurred to ask Amy about how bots and AI consider the holidays and handle gift giving. Seeing as how Andy reacted and you thought about something for her.

>>975019
It was hard on me too. It was almost as if I was writing Marty goodbye all over again.

When I realized I could actually manage to write a robot and AI as a touching character. Was when I realized my work on characterization was properly mastered. It's a pain to right an inhuman character much less actually make them give people the feels.

Jal though...Jal was legitimately unlucky character. One who was so unbelievably fucked up because of it. Worst part is he can't even die properly and everyone always misunderstood him to the very end.

I can't fucking believe it was Doctor Volk HIMSELF of ALL fucking people. Who was the only one actually able to empathize with and appreciate JAL. JAL never really had that before...such an unlucky character I tell you. Now he is with Doctor Volk...you haven't seen the last of them.

Sometimes when I need to remind myself I can really write a good character and basically to amp myself up. I make myself reread Marty's Goodbye. It's heartrending to do but damn it if doesn't work.

According to Amy they don't expect gifts. As that is more a thing among other beings. Holidays meanwhile says that instead of 'birthdays' they have Creation Days instead. Which is apparently their version of a birthday. So apparently against your expectations the AI do apparently have some version of holidays. Your not sure how and what exactly.

Now for Mister Neutral. He admits that...he isn't entirely sure how you would deal with someone like the naughty witch. As he is for obvious reasons more used to bandits. He does however say it is distinctly likely the two are going to try and kill each other. Which is something you don't want.

At that point he gets quiet...and asks if your willing to really well and truly pay the price.

Which gave you a bad feeling but you nodded after awhile. Especially after seeing those two really were about to kill each other. That was when Mister Neutral told of you two things you could do. Number 1 convince Naughty Witch it isn't what it looks like...you know its voluntary. You actually quite like Foxy and so on. If she has romantic feelings for though Mister Neutral says your gonna be in some deep shit. Not even Mister N is that good to deal with something like that.

Number 2 give Foxy such a great romp in the sack she forgets about the witch. Which according to Mister Neutral will also serve as a message to her to not worry about it...and so on. It helps that she wont even be able to do anything about it even if she wanted to. Problem is Mister Neutral notes while your good...you ain't THAT good, but claims to have a quick fix.In the long run though your gonna need to figure something out.

Your attempts to out shag Foxy didn't work. I mean you were the one tapped out and she just bounced right up afterwards. It wasn't long after that she wandered away. You meanwhile were laying there having a 'well fuck' moment and realized Mister Neutral really wasn't kidding about the whole becoming a better lay.

After recovering a bit you attempted to explain to the witch. After you confirmed what she was already figuring out she was...most upset. That a bandit bitch...'made you her bitch'. Turned you into a boy toy on a short leash. She was...most upset. Claiming that it was her fault for not protecting her 'adorably' cute younger junior. And how she would handle things with Foxy 'one way or another'.

...Well shit.

You know this is one of those moments I wish the sheer strain and panic of all this was enough to somehow clock us over to hero status and we just grab both their shoulders and make them sit down.

The PSI scream united and empowered by the battered boy toys of the world, united in this moment to say to the girls "Sit the fuck down, shut the fuck up and stay put. I ain't no trophy". Naturally extruding some kind of aura of sheer rage, woe and power enough to startle them into submission

"BOOSSS," you scream running in that general direction. Boss is a hero so Boss has gotta have a solution. That was how you stumbled upon a scene involving your boss and absentee 'master' necromancer teacher/Boss's gf.

"OH COME AGAIN YOU FUCK," yells a frustrated necromancer as she pulls up a blanket to cover her form while on the Shrouded One's lap. "At least the witch has the damned decency to not cockblock me. Admittedly she is quite the pain in the ass in other regards, but a cockblocker she is not. You any idea how rarely I get horny?"

"Oh shut up," says Boss readjusting his mask. "Consider it payback for not actually teaching him anything."

"Hey its not my fault there was that problem I sorta had to fix," pouts the necromancer. Only to receive a withering glare from a masked boss. How the boss can do that you sorta wanna know. I mean just imagine how good the glare is without the mask?

"...Okay fine. So maybe it IS my fault," says your necromantic master in a huff.

"What is it," asks the Boss.

"I uh...sort of have a problem regarding...well you know those two."

"Uhuh. Why didn't you go to Mister Neutral?"

"..."

"I am waiting."

"Well uh...you see I am sorta a uh Boy Toy...and I am uh not 'quite' that good at sex yet. So uh N's plan sorta didn't work...because of that."

Your teacher was now snickering while hiding her face in your bosses neck. Your boss meanwhile sighs loudly before whispering something in her ear. Causing her to shut up and speaks to you.

"Your teacher here," says Boss grabbing the necromancer. "can handle the witch. As for Foxy...hah take a trip with N. Learn how to fuck properly during said trip. He has some stuff to do with nearby bandit gangs anyway. So you can work on the whole sex improvement thing on your own time...while doing work stuff as per usual."

"But...but what about Foxy?"

"Beatrice can help you out with that. Though how your gonna convince that She Devil...well that is up to you. I suppose N probably has some clues though. I don't personally know her well enough to help much with that."

"Beatrice?"

"You get Beatrice to handle it...well Foxy isn't about to go up against a She Devil so soon. By the time you improve enough sexually...you will be able to deal with Foxy. Before Foxy has time to come up with a plan to deal with Beatrice. Not a chance in hell Foxy is gonna go up against Beatrice so soon and ill prepared. Foxy is quite cunning but she'll still need time to prepare. Time you can use to your advantage...then you go over and 'deal' with Foxy," explains the Boss.

"Wow...that...that could actually work."

"Meanwhile before you leave again," mutters Boss who was now making your teacher moan beneath the blanket. "It would be best if you...got some lessons from this one here. She is a most...talented necromancer. Close to breaking through to hero even."

"Hey...that's...private," complains your 'Teacher'.

"Now...shoo. Its not everyday I get to enjoy Holiday sex."

ALL Boy Toys are tough sons of bitches. They also tend to be boyishly cute or rugged manly handsome fellow. For those with the cute boyish appearances you can bet your ass the bitches stuff youth eliver stuff in em to keep them young looking. Really they besides the bitches are the only ones who rely upon serious youth rejuvinating treatment except for gay butt bandit twinks. Other bandits are more lax with the rejuve treatments for themselves. but you can bet your ass the bitches are gonna scrape their funds together to ensure their boyishly cute boy toys are kept that way.

Funnily enough gay boy toys actually have an easier time simply because they aren't nearly relied upon as heavily as the boy toys servicing bitches(especially ones like Boss tier ones and ect). Normal bitches can get themselves laid reasonably well. But you ain't gonna find many willing to stick their dick in a Boss Bitch or say...a She Devil and hence boy toys are more common among them. It helps they can more easily support some private boy toys for themselves.

You also got the poor bastards who are expected to service entire groups of bitches...they are little better then a sex slaves and bandit whores. They do exist though. Whoring is common among both bandit sexes. Plus its a common trick for managing groups of bandits. Keep a few whores available for bandits to enjoy when they don't wanna fuck each other.(who could blame them?)

Yes gay bandits are referred to as Butt Bandits. Technically this even includes Lesbian ones because of their mutual love for ass(just of their own sex). Of course they have distinct lingo for their groups. You usually hear Butt Bandits for gay male bandits but sometimes its also used for females. Usually though if you here it said with female bandits present it also means there are gay male bandits among them. Basically in grammar/language terms its used for either 1 all male gay bandits group or 2 mixed homo bandit group. You never hear butt bandits referred to when straight bandits are also among them because both groups get offended by the unfair comparison.

Bandit speech is a pretty bastardized dialect that borrows heavily from many different groups. Hence while painful to hear. You can generally figure out what they are saying no matter your origins.

Fun fact Bandit speech is the only language in the Post Fall that borrows so heavily from so many different sources. So if you write bandit all you gotta do is bastardize it and there you go. Not hard to do but tricky and fun to write.

Bandits do admittedly have their own distinctive lingo but every group has that. Its why you got stuff like Teks and Doks. As well as their distinctive Ravagers and She Devils.

"Ah Beatrice's help? She is...a romantic so if you want her help you gotta scratch that itch of hers. Otherwise well she IS a She Devil so something that can scratch her evil nature and bandit bitch side will also work."

"That's...not very helpful."

"Look at it this way. Do you got feelings for Foxy or someone else? I know you got some feelings for that Witch. Plus you do have...rather poor tastes in women."

"...So I MAYBE i sorta have a thing for troublesome women...I just don't wanna get raped man."

"Hey if its voluntary its not rape! Yeah I know that was in terrible tastes. But if it wasn't a bandit bitch besides a few like the Witch your only shot would of been a corp chick."

"...Are they really that bad?"

"Let me put it this way. Even the Bitches acknowledge them as their evilest women equal and vice versa."

"...Wow. Really?"

"Oh yeah. You think the paramilitary, tribals, and mutant chickies are bad? Hahahah god wait till you meet a megacorp chick."

"Sounds like my type..."

Woah now buddy. I can live with the bitches but those cunts? Nah not even I would wanna fuck them."

"...Really why?"

"Because the bandit bitches are...well surprisingly honest and upfront about it. But those chicks? Your gonna WISH a fucking bitch had a knife at your throat while she is riding you."

"...Damn. I cannot believe even you would wanna stick your dick in one of them."

"What can I say? I appreciate the brutal honesty that is a bandit bitch. You start messing with the corp chicks and the bandit bitches are gonna be breath of fresh air."

"...They...they can't be THAT bad can they?"

"Do you think the two LIKE to share their status for evilest cunts in the post apocalypse?"

"...Point taken."

"So anyway you gotta figure out what your gonna say to Beatrice. I ain't gonna do it. She fines out I lied somehow and its gonna be MY ASS suffering. I have SEEN what she does man. I ain't doing it. Once you start doing that sorta thing and the butt bandits are gonna take notice."

"...Shit really?"

"Oh yeah. We call them Butt Bandits for a reason man. Once they know you get fucked in the ass even by a woman they are still gonna get some...ideas."

"...So you get raped in the ass by a bitch your gonna get your ass raped by butt bandits too?"

"Pretty much. Why do you think bitches fuck non bandits in the ass so much? The straight bandit boys know better then to take up there. Only the bi ones are gonna be alright with that sorta thing."

"Goddamn it. How the FUCK are corp chicks just as bad?"

"Its a matter of getting shanked upfront or poisoned. Think of it like that."

"So the corp chicks prefer the poisoning?"

"They aren't as big a fan to blatant violence as the bitches. The chicks prefer a more...insidious approach. I can live with the bandit bitches coming after. At least that way I can see them coming. But the corp chicks? Oh baby your really REALLY gonna wish it was like that."

"...So how the corp chicks not at the top then?"

>>
Rolled 6 (1d100)

>>975704
"Have you SEEN how blatantly evil bandit bitches are? The only difference between them is this. Corp chicks are more insidious. Bitch will stab you in the face. A corp chick will poison you. A bandit bitch boss proved herself worthy of being a boss. Otherwise nobody is gonna be willing to follow the bitch. the Corp Chick sabotaged everybody else including probably their old boss thereby taking their position all the while making themselves look like they are the good guy and how sorry they are for their...competitors as well as feeling bad for what happened to their old boss...trust me. They are both equally bad just in different ways."

"...One day I am so gonna attract one ain't I?"

"...I will be a liar if I said corp chicks aren't also interested in having boy toys."

"OH FUCK ME."

"Hey its their equivalent of their male counterparts having a mistress. They don't exactly marry each other for love...or pleasure really."

"Doesn't that mean...bandit bitches and corporate chicks compete over boy toys?"

"...You are aware how most boy toys are generally trained up male sex slaves right?"

"...Actually no I didn't know that."

"ah...fuck well lets just say most people don't wanna bother having to train their own up as its a pain. Hence why they let the slavers do it. Male bandits and other people do the same thing for their own fuck toys. Buy yourself a nice properly trained sex slave for pleasure. So basically a lot of the time. They are a bought...if it was solely for pleasure."

"So feelings get in the way then huh?"

"That they do. Hence why you see 'boy toys' who aren't trained up hence not from a slaver. Its simply because of feelings at that point."

"So...doesn't that mean Foxy has...feelings for me then?"

"Big time," says Mister Neutral leaning back. "If it weren't for that she just would of bought a trained boy toy off the slavers. Which is what I am trying to get into your head. Bitch loves you. Problem is Beatrice isn't gonna wanna help so easily if you don't also have feelings for her. Beatrice is a sucker for romantic shit like that. You should of seen how many runaway couples she insisted we help out. You ever wonder why the relations between the sexes are surprisingly good in my gang?"

"Turned out Beatrice had a point, I will admit I got that sorta thing dead wrong."

"Wow...did not see that coming."

"There is a reason why I keep her around. Turned out Beatrice romantic leanings really has some uses. Don't ever let it out she is a romantic though. She is extremely embarrassed by the fact and would do terrible things to you should you leak it."

>>975754
Witch is the biggest female perv. Simply due to her magics that aren't as tempered as heavily by necromancy(which isn't good for your lust). Technically N is the second biggest male pervert shown so far but that is pretty obvious given the type of women he sleeps with regularly.

"So wait...I thought most bandits are too fucked up for that sorta thing to work out? There is a reason why they need to recruit outside so heavily. Bandit babies can't keep their numbers up."

"Which is true...in most cases."

"Most cases?"

"You ever seen a family raider hold?"

"Family raider hold?"

"Yeah they raid to supply their families back home. They should bandits magically be unable to recruit from outside are gonna be one of the few who stick around. They naturally keep their holdings...very far away in distant but safe locations. They range the farthest generally as raiders from their homebase."

"They are an example of the exception to the rule. In truth should one day bandits be incapable of recruiting outcasts the bandit world as we know it would collapse in a heart beat. Thank god for non bandit criminal scum. We would be fucked without them."

After that you trained with your new book as apparently the trip was gonna be a little bit. Giving you time to train. Even with your master at one point who came out and...really knew her shit. She is apparently gonna be available for awhile and said you can ask both for leave if you want more indepth necromantic training from her. As according to her this placed sucked for teaching necromancy properly.

With your teacher present you can either IMPROVE one of your preexisting things OR learn something entirely new WITHOUT even a single roll! Sadly you can only do this once per a training session.

Correction meant N is the biggest male perv shown so far for obvious reasons. You don't tap that kinda ass regularly without being champion class perv. Unsurprisingly technically he IS a Magi!

Who are biggest perverts holy shit. Nobody can compete with the the magi in term of pervs.

No not even the sneaky pervert panty thieves who like to watch women bath, pedophile clergy, or mega rich depraved bastards. They don't got fucking magic out the ass.

Magi are so fucking perverted due to MAGIC that they literally rest in their own separate category they are so far ahead of everyone else in terms of perversion. Fuckers could even make a monsters and demons nervous.

Your psi magi necromancy improved. It turned out your new teacher had an usually high knowledge of even stuff like that so long as it was about necromancy.

As for the skull its stuffed with a lot of necromantic knowledge. Including stuff relating to psi necros and even a psi magus necromancer. Which according to your teacher was a huge pain in the ass to find a source. Basically it channels souls of the dead and can otherwise tap into their knowledge. Its basically a necromancer relay device or library in a skull. Extremely advanced magics went into its creation. According to your teacher you gotta long way to go before you rank up and you gotta lot of material to cover. That you didn't properly cover before. She notes you have a decent amount of experience but are lacking proper knowledge to go with it. Due to what you are she knows you wont exactly be easy to teach much less the very obscure stuff you'll be interested in. Hence the Skull which she purposefully stuffed with psi necromancy and psi magi necromancy. Not exactly her forte but she IS good enough to make it so you can still learn it. Apparently she herself looked into psi necromancy because of its gift with creating intelligent undead. So she knows a bit.

"The closest thing to negative energy is Death magics. Which will kill you very very hard even if your an undead or immortal. Anti reality, is another contender. Don't use it unless you wanna destroy reality and you along with it."

"Negative energy is bullshit made up term to make different magics look bad and evil. Its nonsense and only primitives, idiots, and zealots use the term for whatever it is they have a hatred for."

"Yes there are magics and things that are polar opposites. No that doesn't make them evil. Unless your talking literal good and evil in which case yes, but only then."

"Its more a matter of perspective and beliefs."

"I wouldn't suggest using a necro energy shell around yourself. Stuff is terrible for health. Admittedly that is a mere side effect and its quite deadly against many things. So long as they aren't undead anyway."

"Mighty useful weapon and great for wards. Just not such a good idea to shield yourself with it. Trick to that is using a multiple systems. Problem is its on the more complicated side and tedious. Best off using your psi as a shield."

"Necro energy is much better unleashing deliberating affects, boosting the undead, and outright killing things. If it wont kill them it will at the very least leave some very nasty gifts behind. Nicest of all is not having to worry about friendly fire while using undead!"

"As a necromancer we learn how to deal with the side effects of our magics...others don't have that privilege. There is a reason why many necromancers get into curses and hexing. I don't understand the lack of combat magic necro users though. A necro bolt is powerful enough to hurt like hell unless your an undead and even then we have our ways. In truth the use of necrotic effects on our enemy is more a side effect then actual purpose. Its not like we went out of way to do it. Its just a side effect...albeit mighty useful one."

"But if we can't kill it directly we can certainly make it suffer. Either way its a win win for us! Especially when you consider the whole not having to worry about friendly fire if your using other undead which is yet another win!"

Best shields available are the following
Think Tank Prototype Shield Generator

Relic Ancient Force Shield

As for getting lost. You get very lost indeed which is how you find yourself standing before a broken metal door that has a strange mark on with a random seeming stream of digits and letters. Inside you noticed its rather dim...with barely functional emergency lights flickering.

Surprised anons remember Cuban Pete the man who dances the romba beat.

And no there was no mark. The mark however was identified by Amy. According to her it means this is some kind of old world government facility. Likely for research or more...sinister of purposes. How the hell you found it she doesn't know.

Taking a closer look at the door it like some kind of failure occurred with the mechanism. Which happened some what recently but not too recently given the rust and dust. The emergency lights meanwhile indicate the power system is largely exhausted. Its likely this facility has been abandoned. You don't see any signs of fighting or looting.

Thus you went down the hallways. Dodging leaking ceilings, pools of glowing fluids, and flickering lights. The hallways were long and narrow. Even the turrets you saw...didn't move when you entered range. Other pieces of broken or defunct tech you also found in plenty.

That was when you found yourself in a corridor with a map and elevators nearby.

Message sent. After that you went back inside. There you went down a passageway. Revealing a large room full of cubicles. That appeared to be in disordered state. Further down you encountered offices. Now you started to find a signs...of struggles. Old bloodstains, broken doors, and shattered glass. The deeper you went the worst it went...until you ran into a doorway with a flickering hologram before sealed doorway that looked quite battered. Here you could see what had at least once been a battleground. Mostly because of a lot of bullets and bodies. Some security systems and barricades had also been placed. But for some strange reason they were clearly abandoned before the fighting had reached them. It was here when you got to close to loot the bodies the old security systems that appeared to be down. Woke up and shot at you.

Fortunately for you the way they were set up was not meant to contain your general direction and it helped it had been a very long time since they had any maintenance done. Still it was a close call.

The only thing you can hear besides the whirring of a nearby computer system Amy had you jack her in. Is a steady drip drip and the whirring of fans. At times you thought you heard a strange brushing sound, but that was nothing.

Amy after awhile broke into their security. Or what was left of it anyway. According to her the facility suffered a breach in the labs but follow procedure they were able to successfully quarautine the area. That was when something very strange happened...which made Amy very nervous.

You see while she was poking around she failed to find any trace of a AI in oversight. Which is completely nonsense. According to her there is ALWAYS an AI...overseeing things. Even if there supposedly isn't an AI in the facility. According to her that is never true.

Problem is while she was poking around and during her hack...there wasn't anything. Nothing. A void.

The systems have all defaulted and when the power supply finally cutout...well lets just say. The containment had according to her been sabotaged big time.

After that the defaulting of the systems well if whatever is down there hadn't gotten out then. Well it sure as shit is out now.

You see the security systems? The loss of the AI convinced them that there was NO quaratine. They defaulted...sure the basics were there, but then the problem went out. And there was already a real breach to begin with...

You never had Amy get scared before that didn't involve Rampant Technology. She is now especially once she found that void...not even a dead AI.

Nothing.

No insanity...no failsafe. No destruction.

It was just...gone. Completely gone.

And that isn't at all easy to accomplish. AI aren't by any means stupid. Especially one which had to be Cored. Yes there are failsafes for that precise reason...thing is though those failsafes are designed to leave evidence. A trace. Problem is there literally isn't any and neither is there a single trace of the AI.

So Amy suggests...extreme caution. If your lucky whatever used to be locked up has since left. However this entire set up stinks heavily of sabotage and inside job. That wasn't including the problem with the labs...

Bah meant the power not problem went out.

Basically the security system got sent to its defaulted setting...despite the already proven breach. After awhile...the power supply cut out. So if whatever wasn't out before then sure as shit is likely out now.

Good news is this happened a very long time ago...bad news is. The data contained within the labs is redacted and you can't access them from here. So you don't know what the hell it was they were working on.

According to Amy without going into the labs. There are only three other ways to access the data.

1 is the AI Core Room.
2 Is finding the relay that transmits the data outside the facility.
3 Certain important offices should have possible access and records on file.

Or you can do it the hard way and try to directly crack the encryptions and get passed the security countermeasures.

You would have to get close enough to the bodies to examine them. According to Amy when the critical failure occurred...well lets just say there is a reason why there are a lot of dead bodies, a now sealed door, and newly placed security countermeasures.

Security did their best even after the AI went *poof*.

They were pros though. Not exactly useless rentacops.

Most people would of ran, given up, or tried to fix things. Instead they set up chokepoints, hooked up new systems and forcefully overrode the old ones.

You gotta remember the AI may have been gone but the other stuff was still there.

Problem is...well there holes and sabotage. Not to mention you have no idea whatever the fuck it was that got loose inside those labs. Or whatever got loose afterwards.

Pair that with the information void, the whole this was planned thing, the dead security...Someone did something and cleaned up shop. Whatever they were working on may not have escaped, but was unleashed. Therefore providing both a test for whatever it was and disposing of other assets.

But then again, maybe its something much calmer, yet more sinister. The AI void, the sealing of some areas....maybe this was the intent all along, what if there was no escape, what if there really is nothing her. What if whatever was going on has long since ended, now we are walking through the aftermath. The story has long since ended, the bodies we walk over lively heroes of their own stories....who knows~

You sent another message out but you have yet to get a reply back.

As for looting the dead guards...they don't have any ammo on them. Apparently they were already picked up long before you showed up.

They were not back to back. They were however lined up and clearing firing in one direction. You could see they held a fighting retreat as they backed up slowly away from the doorway and whatever it is they killed...you found nothing but strong chemical stains, drag trails, and scorch marks.

Bullet holes wise they were all over the places. Your not entirely sure where it was they were shooting but it was clearly in one direction only. They had set up a chokepoint and an attempted killzone. It seemed to have worked but they suffered losses. Their wounds were strange though.

Slashes, heavy bruising, and oddly enough a strange kind of holes inside them. With no projectile but they left behind a strange taint. A slimy coating and lots of blood. Whoever looted them previously only grabbed their ammo and data packs(Amy noted both their dogtags and on board tech key systems were removed aka the stuff) Which included unfortunately their data feeds among other important info. They left everything else behind however. Besides being clearly damaged and missing key parts their armor is...sort of intact.

According to Amy whoever 'looted' their bodies knew what they were doing. You would think their armor was still good besides the obvious until you tried to use it. Some of the stuff they grabbed ensured the remaining gear was deeply sabotaged. Including their guns...whose smart systems had been tampered with. Damn things wouldn't fire or unlock for that matter. If you didn't know any better you would think they were busted. Problem outside some use and age. They should of been perfectly fine.

Hence it was clearly the smart onboard systems. Goddamn the assholes who ever thought 'smart' guns were a good idea.

After nabbing some other pieces of stuff that wasn't sabotaged and you know still there. You left towards the AI Core. How Amy knew where it was you couldn't tell. As neither the info she dug up displayed its location and neither did you see it displayed on the surprisingly helpful maps that were displayed in a lot of areas.

Yet Amy took you down some passages, through some rooms, and finally...you stood before a spot. That you clearly knew wasn't on any maps.

Yet on top of it in big bold letters you could clearly see CORED AI HOUSING. Thing is though...the door was left open and when you went inside. There was nothing there but some ejected wires, blinking electronics, and dead screens. One of which that didn't appear to be any different Amy directed you towards. To hook her up to. After that the dead screens came back to life as massive amount of data was poured through.

>>978889
You decide to look the around to see what you can find.

>>978893
Nope.

Who knows? Just remember the Genie isn't gonna forget shady black ops.
>>
Rolled 91 (1d100)

>>978950
The housing room...is clearly empty. You honestly couldn't find a thing and you began to understand why Amy was so freaked out about it. There was nothing but blank floor and walls. With an empty pit which at one point should of housed the AI.

Amy meanwhile seemed to have found what you were looking for. As the screens started to broadcast some video. You could see the quaratine be put into place and personnel were carefully evacuated as the security teams moved in. The way they moved...it reminded you of the paramilitary. They were professional and smooth. After that the video flickers to where you just were. As they Security forces...were firing upon these...things that came charging at them. They came from the walls, the ceiling, and directly charged forth. If it wasn't for the killzone at the chokepoint they would of been overwhelmed. Instead they just shot in that general direction and slowly retreated. Even as they were...'shot' by these strange fluids. Slashed or smashed. Some were even dragged deeper in screaming before a large explosion occurred where the guard used to be. Turning himself into a giblets and blasting everything around him.

You noticed however that the explosions...were never close enough to hit their own guys and that was when you realized. They waited until it was safe to perform an explosive exit.

The video then flickered over to the labs. Where you saw scientists were experimenting on people and animals. Some died others...changed. Some of those who were changed were dissected. Usually while they were still alive and changing. Otherwise they were shuffled over to new special holding areas. Sometimes they were put down first...usually through a surprisingly large variety of methods while notes were taken. After that they were disected.

And that was if they were lucky.

Otherwise they dissected them alive. If they were especially unlucky the unfortunate test subject would be actively experimented upon during the procedure. So they could better see how they reacted.

...there were so many videos of these 'tests'. All very carefully archived and especially detailed in the way only a test report could do.

After awhile that was when an containment was breached. It was a perfectly normal day morally bankrupt experimentation included. Except that day...things went wrong. That day two test subjects that were exposed and turning...exploded violently. Problem was the first one that exploded started to eat into the equipment and when the second one exploded shortly after that. The compromised equipment wasn't able to prevent exposure. A lockdown was instantly implimented. Problem was the two gases...started to eat their way through the shielding and exposing everything. It soon breached the first room and quickly fell upon the others. At this point evacs were ordered and security came in started shooting or in some cases spraying flames/chemicals. At this point an entire section of the lab has failed.
>>
Rolled 29 (1d100)

Oh tits....Brood
>>
Rolled 11 (1d100)

>>978959
At the point where the breach had expanded into the holding areas. That was when a large countermeasure was endured. You couldn't tell what happened because the screens turned white and you only knew it was coming. Was because at that point the security forces fell back and created a perimeter. Followed by a strange sound...and nothing.

It as when they went to take a closer look reporting the failsafe had kicked in but...well they were gonna need a new lab section. Test subjects and some scientists included. The security forces moved ensuring the...purge you realized was properly successful.

That was however when it video abruptly cut out for a time. Before being rebooted...and the systems were acting perfectly normal.

Which was the problem, because in some of those vids you could see the purge...hadn't worked out as it intended. You could hear screams as suddenly the security guards who went to check the purge, were quickly hauling ass away and chucking lots of explosives behind them. There were some engineers cursing about how the purge system had been compromised and yells from many different sources.

About what went wrong with the AI.

At this point while most of the security forces were quickly hauling ass to contain the failed purge. The rest of them were fanning through the rest of the facility...and a firefight broke out in a stairwell. How they knew something was there you had no idea but whatever it was returned fire upon realizing they were busted.

Another two teams were sent to investigate why the purge system failed(when should of engaged properly when things got particularly fucked ordered or not). While the other team went to check on the AI Housing. They melted their way through door once they realized it was locked and they couldn't override it quickly. Before sweeping through the room...and reporting the strange situation.

The guys at the purge system who were sent meanwhile weren't so lucky. Their trip was a one full of fighting AND they were the only poor bastards stuck escorting civilians. Who were suppose to figure out what went wrong. Their job was 'simple' escort the civilians to the target and keep them safe.

They...well they even had worse luck then the the guys who got their pants caught down during the after purge sweep. At least they didn't have to worry about any civilians.

Especially as repeated requests for a Full Lab Purge were requested...but never happened. At that point you could hear chatter among the upper ranks whether or not they should initiate a full facility purge. Particularly using an Outside One given how someone clearly fucked up their internal Purge failsafes. So it was argued that they clearly needed to use the External one...but they couldn't decide when to initiate it.

Apparently the facility wasn't cheap and the personnel not so easy to replace. So their request was sent out.

They never got a reply back.

Meanwhile the security forces chasing the intruders...well both of them deep in the bowels of the base. Ran into the third side.

Mostly through a big nasty looking hole in the ceiling where the things came out of. They literally melted/chewed their way through the heavily reinforced and specially prepared lab containment walls.

Meanwhile in a surprisingly close location you could see. The squad with civilians in it were fighting their way through to other areas of where the civilians insisted they needed to go. They coincidentally ran into what remained of the other two forces after they got ambushed by a third party.

At that point everybody was beginning to realize just how fucked the situation was quickly becoming and getting out of hand. The security forces once they found out about the...other literally large hole in their defenses. Sent a wave of reinforcements down there but at this point they were on their last legs. They didn't have anymore bodies to spare and were preparing to pull out.

The survivors meanwhile debated about what they should do. The interlopers as it turned out had a escape arranged at a nearby loading dock. While a brave civilian insisted on knowing a way to 'fix everything'. Insisting the key was actually not with the sabotaged or damaged systems, but instead with something new. Something they insisted nobody would think of.

That person told everyone of the Hard Reset. Which was built into the very infrastructure of the base...that people actually knew about and took care of. In a particularly fucked situation the Hard Reset could be used to purge everything. Because it was known about and carefully tended to due to its connection with all sorts of key systems...nobody can sabotage it. Without quickly getting busted. Its existence was...frankly more well disguised then covered up.

Problem was the hard reset had two switches that needed to be activated. One was in the bowels of the facility...where they were near. The other meanwhile was located in the offices area. In one of the big important offices which was on the opposite side of the quickly overrun facility. At this point the security forces were on the retreat and were trying to get the rest of the trapped personnel out(quarantine a bitch).

It was decided that those who wanted to run...would stick around just long enough to help with the first switch but after that they were out. Thus they set out...and that was where the video ended. Right after they made it there, pulled the switch, and were preparing to separate.

it sounds more like coincidence though, these other guys just attempted to sabotage/steal data or whatever they wanted at the same time as an experiment got out of control. just bad luck for them.

>corp war
isn't it a government facility? was mentioned in an earlier post if irc. sound more like someone wanted to attempt world domination or just wipe out the commies.
>>
>>979018
Maybe the eggheads were biotech corp defectors and the unknown operatives were a hit squad sent to "plug" the "brain drain".
>>
>>979018
Seems a little too convenient to be a coincidence.

Seems to me like the intruders sabotaged containment to cause chaos...but it worked too well. Probably according to someone's plan though.

No telling who the intruders were though. Rival gov, corp with interest in the work being done, criminal organization; we just don't know.
>>
Rolled 19 (1d100)

>>979028
Well we'll find out soon enough. If we can find who owned this place it narrows it down. But here's the thing, has whatever they were doing here escaped...or was it taken by whomever set this up?

We've got a shit ton of unknowns but also a TON of possible Loot...Guys something utterly horrifying just crossed my mind. What if we find everything we want, we do everything down here we want...we've got to leave...through the one way in/out. What if there's a clean up squad waiting. We've had no word from the boss...we may be getting jammed...theres an idea.

When we call do what CC said, use their coms because ours should be able to tap in.
>>
>>979028
yeah, but if the intruders have the capabilty to sabotage the containment without anyone noticing, wouldn't they probably also have a better option to get what they want then send in a hit squad?
plus how should they know that it'll work? from what we've seen it doesn't look like the test-specimens are prone to explode, looks like a one-time occurence.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d100)

>>979036
They did explode before, but never at the same time AND in such a way as to create an.. combined.effect like that. Their systems would of been able to handle it albeit with some damage but the two combined?

They got fucked.

THEN when you throw in the sabotage...things went very very wrong.

Maybe the stuff they used for two were tampered with...maybe the subjects themselves. Maybe it was something else entirely...
>>
>>979036
So the "one-time occurence" of test subjects exploding just happens to be not one subject exploding, but two of them, timed so the first one weakens the systems that would have stopped the second one from causing problems?

Someone KNEW something was going to go down. Heh, you think they sabotaged it without anyone noticing? There was someone else COUNTING on the sabotage.

The rest of the facility at least the few parts you found really weren't that different from the other stuff so far.

As for the current situation a lot of the systems are down or reliant upon emergency power. There isn't that much you can pull from them. Hence you decided to try and find their server room. Hopefully it has the info you are looking for. Problem is according to the directions the server room is there are two server rooms. One is located near the office section. Set up in an observable position in case another party is also ont heir way. We're sentry mode now. Set some traps on the inside to prevent others from raiding our loot trove in case they get here first.

As for us we set up in the 2nd best sniping and watch point while setting up traps in the 1st. If anyone is coming they'll want to set up there. Set up sensors hidden around. Set traps in the places enemies will take cover. THIS IS OUR FIND DAMMIT

Otherwise we are going to lock this place down best we can and lay low till back up arrives. Be aware I'm sensing we're gonna get heavy interest in all this. Think Tank forces, Gov Remnants, Corps. This place is a gold mine and we can only hope we're going to get there first.

my old man is ex-British SpecOps, taught me lots as I've grown up, however aside from all the fun it's turned my into a very, very paranoid person and if there is one thing I can do it's secure a perimeter and hopefully hold it.

That and you know a good grasp on engagement protocols, tricks, strats and other fun stuff you learn on the fly rather than bootcamp
>>
Rolled 28 (1d100)

Observation established and you placed a few magical glyph traps. Which should prove a nasty surprise and very unexpected given the tech nature of the facility.

After that you brought out your sniper rifle. Thinking you might wanna consider getting a better one. Your rather lacking in sensors to put down anon. Should of grabbed them back at base among other useful things to have.

After that you waited...and waited. You got very nervous when some VTOL craft and helicoptors showed up. But after seeing the bots pour out of them you realized they were friendly and contacted them through your comms.

That was how you were introduced to...no less then several different Cored AI. Including a War AI, and Hacker. According to them Shrouded One was taking this find...quite seriously. Their objective they informed you was to place the Hacker AI in the old core room. With its ability and direct access...well lets just say you get in there and the facility is yours.

After that a secondary team will be sent which will have a Trader and even a Research AI. They apparently are suppose to come and run the facility. The War AI will stay behind as to...provide security oversight. Sadly the Hacker AI is too valuable to let it sit around and after its purpose is done. It will be replaced with the Research AI who will peruse everything after its been unlocked by the Hack AI.

Bot forces meanwhile have a strange looking 'Officer' bot. Which is a 'control node'. So long as its a bio threat they are damned useful but vulnerable to electronic warfare. Their ability to enhance robotic forces and communication is...very well tested.

Problem is they have a glaring weakness to electronic warfare because if compromised...well its very very bad. They help control and communicate with other bots. In addition to serving as a Network provider and booster to robotic forces.

According to the War AI. Its the robot equivelant to smaller officers. It houses many smaller AIs that work together instead of a single large AI that has to be Cored. They may be a tad slow but frankly they aren't designed to be pure combat AIs. Plus they are never alone.

The rest of the bots...were not like what you had seen before. There wasn't any humanoid ones...and they were relatively small. According to Amy these are Building Attackers. Designed to be very good at close confined insides of buildings and are the planetary cousins of the Boarding Bots in space. Nasty little buggers you never wanna run into inside a building. They can crawl through ducts and inside floors/walls with ease. Everywhere else they can swarm you.

What do?
>To the AI Core Room
>Search a part of the facility
>Head towards the labs
>Stay outside
>Take a ride base

I was actually very tempted to enlist, I got sponsored through school because of my dad's service and was asked. I never said yes, but equally I never said no. The main reason for the "no" however was surprisingly my dad. He's still getting offers and approached for stuff these days even though we're on the other side of the planet. He said he didn't want me going out there and possibly dying for someones promotion or any other reason. Though I do still consider it once i've finished my current field of training

It's funny though because of it i've never really fit into Civie street

Quite a few funny stories about people approaching me and a few of the other "Army Brats", god the toffs didn't like us one bit, viewed us as charity cases.
>>
Rolled 31 (1d100)

>>981571
The trick is staying away from the field. Your life expectancy is shortened and its a lot harder on your body. Not to mention he has a point but it sounds like he was a field guy. A lot of brats are indeed pretty shit but some of them got...mentored and hence are valuable despite their youth. Its those fuckers you gotta watch out for. Especially should they really take to it well. Much more dangerous then their lack of experience would otherwise indicate. Especially given how some of those older guys like to...teach their proteges.

The kids who got mentored...they are fucking dangerous and very valuable. Everybody wants them almost as much as they want the women who can handle themselves. There is a reason why you never see those chicks in the military. They always get snapped up as there is such a severe shortage for them. Fucking dangerous cunts the lot of them. Military service for women? That is just some agencies wanting to find more of those dangerous cunts. If they show up in the military...they never last long before vanishing. Its not that they're dead. Its just they got a very good offer they can't refuse. You see it all the time with the higher quality boots for obvious reasons. They only break those rules for the young guys who got mentored...and those very special cunts.

If you see any former girls from the military in an agency...pay VERY close attention to the fact if they are anywhere close to the field. Don't judge them by their appearances. They are specifically trained to hide that shit very well. Extremely dangerous women but they can easily get very very powerful and real quick. It pays to be so rare and some of them know how to leverage that fact to really climb the ranks and fast.

Its easy to note the guys...but the women. They are the ones you gotta pay special attention to even if they don't look it. Hell especially then. Its just too damned easy to underestimate a woman and they know it. I don't even wanna think about how many dudes died because of a simple little mistake like that.

They take to that shit like fish to water...guys its harder for them to hide it, but not the women. Its unlikely your old man ever had to deal with many of them but if you stay away from the field like he wants.

Your gonna run into them a lot more then he did.

and chances are he knows you don't fit in among the civilians. Guys like that can sense it and especially the recruiters. Its their job to smell it and that potential. Its why they ignore certain kids and keep hitting the rest of them up. I know those slimy recruiter bastards will even try to bypass the mentor or family in order to get at them. Never trust the damned recruiters. Especially the good ones who don't recruit dumb kids for shit. The better recruiters their still just slimy as the other ones but are much better at their jobs.

Usually the mentor introduces the proteges he took under his wing to the right people.

Considering we upend and moved to another country the moment he was out and dragged the family too. We left Britain about 8 years ago, said things we're about to go to hell in a hand basket behind the closed door and the public would follow later.

Honestly though i've been thinking of getting into something once i'm done with my current training and got my fitness back up to what I view as an acceptable level.

One point s few years back was looking into the police because it seemed like a good idea at the time. When I was looking into it I actually got a call from the Federal Branch and said once i'm a bit older and fitter again give them a call (am still a little tempted)

Not sure the old mans fond of anything like that, ah well time will tell

>>
Rolled 74 (1d100)

>>981757
Its why you sometimes you see those unusually young guys in the certain positions. A lot of people blame nepotism who don't know any better, but in certain lines of work...that shit just doesn't fly. Its because those fuckers got mentored and were vouched for or they were just that amazing, but you always hear of those amazing guys. So if its hush hush its granted they got in due to the mentor. So they show up in positions you usually see older guys in. Trick is paying close attention to the position in question. They don't like to talk about the whole mentor thing because a lot of those guys are retired among other reasons but old habits die hard. Its why those unusual young guys keep showing up. Too old to keep doing it...but not too old to teach. Sure a lot of them never intended to mentor someone, but then they see a kid with potential...

A dirty little secret is not all of those kids go join up. Sometimes they go their own way...which is very hush hush and its a rather big problem. Especially if the old fucks were careful with mentoring the kids.

Its a reason why you hear certain stories and rumors. A rather well known being the ghost assassin whom nobody can trace but has great skill that should of been a traceable but they got nothing. Its supposed to be nothing but a rumor. But technically if a certain retired assassin secretly mentored someone who went their own way...heh.

Watch out for the women. The nice thing about being a field guy is wont hardly run into their kind. I wish I could say there was an easy way to spot them. Sadly there ain't and they're rare enough that its...difficult to get that needed experience without biting the dust.

Best method I know is the danger squeeze bait approach. Which can shake them up..speaking from experience. But you know sorta got be suicidal to do something that stupid or you know already that fucked. They're REALLY fucking good. I am gifted with the ability to sniff out a lot of stuff ahead of time, but they even fooled me. Nearly got myself killed because of it.

Its not at all easy to slip past me given I once sniffed out an assassin(oh was that a fun night).

Hence why I don't ever wanna run into one of them again and neither do I actually possess any good means against them. Fortunately they are very rare but like that hasn't fucked me over before.

The danger bait approach relies upon a bait and squeeze approach. Thing is though I only ever use it as a last resort as its the equivalent to throwing explosives in the water to go fish and rub it in their faces.

It can possibly shake them up though. Which can possibly save your or someone else's life. Problem is if can accomplish that you just ended up on their private list. I would know.

Fuck there is still certain lines of work I avoid like the plague because of it. Too many goddamn spooks i tell you and if you can actually sniff some of them out...oh fuck those jobs.

Scans indicated however the presence of mutagens that were still active...they were just drifting or laying there. The labs beyond that were clear. You knew the surface was relatively clear...but then the underground presence was revealed.

Again a whole lot of nothing. Well the big hole was strange and compared to the old video it was even bigger...and it went deeper. Everything else however...nothing.

Which is strange.

Stranger still is the fact your comms are still being interfered with.

First, what reason do you have to believe that simply looking at some information is what makes us Found? We're talking about a major life change here, won't it take a little more effort than light reading?
I think we should look at the Lost files and our gift so we don't become Found accidentally. Because we have a tendency to do improbable shit unintentionally.

Second, yes we should look at it. Does looking at it really obligate us to act on what we find? If we don't look at it we might end up finding it out the hard way when our past comes back to haunt us. If we do we'll at least have some idea what's happening if our past does come back to haunt us.

I don't understand this opposition to gaining potentially vital information that's been handed to us on a silver platter.
>>
>>982493
i'm not saying it makes us instantly FOUND, but it sets us onto the road that leads down to become found.

if we just look at it from the view of the players you're right, it gives us information that could be useful.
but look at it from a roleplaying/going with the character/setting side, does our guy really want to rediscover these things? to me it seems like he forgot it for good and probably didn't see the amnesia as a downside of the deal he made.
and given how we always stumble into things without really knowing what we're doing, i also would find it more fitting if we stumble upon our past because of some once more stupid action of us.

It turned out that outside some damage this entire facility is amazingly intact in terms of loot and scavenging. Even their entire stores turned out to include the usage of stasis storage devices. Thereby ensuring their amazing condition. Even if they were no longer powered the simple fact they had been in stasis for so long still made one huge difference. Although ammo was on the lacking side you were able to find some inside the armory and guard posts.

You meanwhile decided to check the data chip.

Message to Dear Now Amnesiac Self
If your hearing this then good. This means it got through. You may want a new start...ignore your old life, but that isn't gonna happen. You see we have enemies who wont care you no longer remember. You have responsibilities still. If you don't innocence including our own family and friends will suffer.

The one who hit our village was our little sister and she was most unhappy she missed some. So she is still hunting for us and she has some of our kids held as hostages with her. She is also after others whom she now hates.

It didn't have to turn out that way...but we made some mistakes while young and they are coming back to bite us. We already lost our home to it and its still not satisified.

Meanwhile the vault we used to live in has made an unholy alliance with a megacorp and others. They want to conquer and hold a grudge for us leaving. Including our deceased wife's family who really REALLY hates us. Should of reconsidered the whole running away...and it didn't help we got her killed. They are very powerful and they hold one hell of a grudge.

On The Job
I accepted a job to tie up some loose ends. It will help but not completely. These guys...they are very shady and are up to something. Still they keep a promise at least. In exchange for helping them I got a wish granted. A wish to take care of some stuff. Sadly its not enough otherwise I wouldn't have bothered arranging for this data to get sent to you.

On this chip is everything I know about the job and what little I know about them.

Family and Friends
You still have family and friends out there. Our sister wasn't able to get them all, but she IS hunting them down. Admittedly most of our friends are dead but not all of them.

Our Ranger friend Rok said he'll guide our family far away into safety. He was able to delay our sister with some problems, but sadly he is only a single man and she isn't alone.

The merchant Keen helped us a few times and we helped him a few times. You can trust him and he knows a lot.

Sheriff Sarah Argon a lawbringer who we go a long way...and our ex. She tried to warn us about our little sister but i never believed it and look what happened...so she can be trusted. Watch out though since your a widow now she will probably hit on you. A lot. We broke up on a good terms...but its complicated.

Once she finds out you don't have your memory...well the complications go away.

Eternal Enemies
>>
Rolled 14 (1d100)

>>982718
So if you run into her...DON'T let her find out the complications are gone. As is she figures sex is now on the table again and figures we could use...comforting. For the love of don't let her find out.

Last time we broke up with her involved a shoot out and she is still angry she 'lost' to our now dead wife.

As for the complications...trust me its complicated. Just let me put it this way it involves the fact that her and our wife used to date. Some old family grudges. So yeah its really complicated.

I don't suggest meeting her until you get your memory back.

Our last worthwhile friend is the mutant Gordo. He was our partner and he is one tough son of a bitch. No way he is dead so he can help. Last i heard he picked a fight with our wife's family to buy us some time. Given they are huge purists it wasn't that hard.

Eternal Enemies
Obviously starting with our sister and wife's family but that isn't everyone.

There is a rampant AI Z0V whom we sorta pissed off through the simple fact we often targeted the same spots. He is a rival and a very angry one. Luckily he hates meatbags more then he does us. So don't worry about an alliance with our sister.

Azako n our defense we didn't know she used to date Gordo. We were however sorta the ones responsible for making them break up...and she sorta hates us for it. Turns out she was in love and Gordo wanted to travel. So he left her behind.

It didn't exactly help we killed her sister and its how we know she hated us for it. What we didn't know was she was with Gordo. Only found that out after they broke up...and then she found out the man who killed her sister. ALSO was 'responsible' for her lover leaving her ass.

So yeah...she really hates us.

ZOV meanwhile is fucking insane. Possibly even more so then our sister.

I say we "stay dead". We are Slate now, and we're carrying out the last will of an old friend. Just keep the helmet and voice synth on.

I suggest we get the Mutant friend a Job with the Boss so we can keep broing out. Get the Trader to go with Rok the Ranger and our family, buy them a nice traveling transport and some loot, then send them far, far away. Our Think Tank Friend needs...extracting and we'll give him a job, getting us another member of the crew.

As for our foes, Sister is a MAD/PSI Bandit Bitch Boss of some kind so thats not gonna be fun, Z0V will be a bitch but in theory so long as we stay away he shouldn't actively hunt us, there's no point. Now our Former Family in law....fuck me that is gonna be rough so long as we stay on the down low we'll be golden...I wonder if that CORP is where we got these Nanites from....

I just really hope when we get a bunch of our memories back we gain some skills maybe the whole trauma and adding to our current skills will be enough to have us break into a Heroic Unit?

Imagine it we sit in some chair and have something zap us, everyone from our new life looks around and wonders what happened, suddenly the whole atmosphere of the room changes as we break through into Herodom. people start flipping out in their various ways, we just tell everyone to sit the fuck down and somehow have developed a death glare. We pop a cigar and light it with our finger..."I'm Back"

Y'know what, Mr. NO has probably fucked our sister or has fucked someone who knows of her.

So our wife is dead and our kids are somewhere out there in the wastes. We could see about having TSO "adopt" them in the sense that they did us. They'll proably have latent psi or magic powers and would be kickass later on down the road with some training and real world experience.

Could you imagine Andy taking one of the offspring on their first assassinate/sabotage mission? Or TSO taking another to learn the trade of being a proper hardware sales person or how to deal with pesky towns that don't pay properly? Mr. N training another to be the smoothest fuck this side of the wastes has seen. And the black sheep kid will either be stuck with us and foxy or naughty witch because why not.

Yeah, we have been playing the whole amnesia thing as something we don't really mind, but do you think our guy truly has no interest in his past? I mean, what's the natural inclination when you have important information about yourself literally right in front you, waiting to be read? Early on, when we awakened as a psion, we unlocked a memory, a message planted by the psi doctor who erased everything before then-he told us a few things, but we were still struggling as we were dragged to his operating table and strapped down.
More recently, Beatrice warned us that we should find and deal with romantic ties from the past.
>>976991
And it's not as though it's out of character knowledge that there might be people from our past who want to find us, and they won't care that we lost our memory. At least, not in a way that favors us.
As for stumbling into things stupidly, isn't that something we would want to work on getting better about in and out of character? Don't worry, we'll still stumble into our past through stupidity. The Stupid will always get through.

Inside the data you see some info regarding the access of a facility past its guardians and accessing a certain vault...in exchange you will get 1 wish and a memory wipe.

There is some info regarding the band of bandits with your sister, an Rampant AI's robotic forces, and some mutants that were last seen with Azako.

Your sister is with the Assbiters. A group of bandits notorious for their love of vengeance even among their own kind. As a result they are huge with no small amounts of bandits and even heroes joining up. In fact their full number and heroes are unknown. As such there are only estimates and the number of bases they control. Which according to your list was last clocked out at 27 bases. This info is however outdated.

She was last seen guiding one of their warbands and holds several of your children hostage with her.

Z0V meanwhile is a member of a insane collective of AI which control a region of fallen megacity. His exact rank and numbers are unknown. But he has never been seen ever running out of troops.

Asoko meanwhile...there isn't much unknown. Mostly due to her basing herself out of a wasteland which is hard to collect info on for obvious reasons. It it known however she at least has the gang her sister was with before her death and some of her own people.

Family of your Ex Wife is with a purist remnants and hence while few in number. Their technology is not to be underestimated. They have seen attempting to rebuild and reinforce their numbers. As such its only recently with their daughter's death have they really taken proper action. They also hold hostage a couple of your kids.

Now for the info about those behind it...the mark is a common monikor that multiple groups have a reason to maintain and use. It doesn't technically belong to a singular group and is instead 'borrowed' as needed. Making things very difficult but not impossible to find. Mostly due to the expertise required to perform the wish granting and memory wiping.

As such they have to connected to at least one of the following

Miraculous Makers: A zealous group who claim to perform miracles...and proved it.

The Wishers: Said to contain forbidden lore who know something about wishing. They are a cult and a very powerful one.

Melting Minders: A psion group with a taste for mind melds. They will know a thing about memories and much more.

The Intelligence Institute: A think tank specializing in the brain.

The files given to you by the Lost is a bunch of different groups who been found to use the Mark. The lost also has files on others with similar stories and what those whom bore the Mark wanted. They contain lots of info...if rather lost within somewhere. At least the stuff you would want the most anyway.

AMY going through this data can you see which of those mysterious groups operate or have been sighted around the area we first woke up. There were only a few areas where the bots were not allowed. One was an unusual guard post, another was the server rooms and other places of great important tech. While the last...was actually a small series of offices.

Unsurprisingly most of those areas were places where it would be very bad if certain RAMPANT AI's could reach...even the strange guard post turned out to be full of such technology. What was strange was those offices. It was not immediately apparent why they were not allowed beyond. The best you could tell that they were just that paranoid. Which turned out to be somewhat true at least. As even the computers there were hard lined into their own private network. If you had a guess this place contained some very...important secrets. Sadly you do not have the skills to lift those secrets out.

Which you had to tell the Shrouded One.

Who apparently is now gonna have to make a trip down here because of it. Especially with all that probably very important tech is gonna need some very skilled people. Especially due to the whole only organics allowed.

Which displeased the Shrouded One for obvious reasons.

After that though you were free to go. Which was important because Mister Neutral refuse to share much information about the Assbiters over the radio.

It was over there you ran into a paranoid N who made you walk out in to the middle of the woods long passed any signs of civilization. Even then he placed up a bunch of strange looking totems, drew wards everywere, and left strange crystals hovering all over the place.

Also you were only allowed inside...naked.

With your stuff left behind far far away. You damn near refused but after realizing all the lengths he went through...well you had to hear what he had to say.

Hence how you found yourself butt naked except for some strangely marked furs in a tent around a crackling fire. There you found N...alone...except he was wearing a strange mask. Except for that he was butt naked with some furs that shimmered.

"Good of you to make it!"

"This better be worth it..."

"Oh it is...it is, but well the Assbiters are NOT the kind of people you talk about without precautions...A lot of precautions."

"Sounds like you know them well indeed."

"Not exactly. I just know better. The Ass Biters you see...well they have a way with finding out about those who screwed them over. Very good at it in fact! A even more troublesome habit is their vows to avenge their members. Dead or not."

"...They sound like quite the pain in the ass."

"Why do you think they are called the Ass Biters hm? Sometimes it can even be taken literal! "

"So you know what they are up to?"

"Revenge...and getting ready to take revenge. That is their cycle. They unlike many bandits are deeply interested in great destruction. Many of us aren't like that you see..otherwise we would all starve. They however don't really care. To them if their members have a reason to destroy you...they will."

I did.
>>
Rolled 79 (1d100)

>>990533
"Everybody has heard of those like the Skullfuckers, but the ass biters? Think their much bigger more vengeful cousins."

"..."

"Right you ain't ever heard of the Skullfuckers. The Assbiters leave nothing but destruction and enslavement in their wake. Ever since the Krulsade their reach has vastly increased. In fact they were very important members to the Krulsade precisely because of their vengeance policy. When the Krulsade was slowed or even halted....they were one of the biggest reasons that stopped. So very powerful...and important indeed."

"Now for their activities they don't raid like normal bandits you see. They come to destroy and those they don't destroy. They torment and enslave. Easy to tell with the Assbiters are about to move in. All the outcasts seem to take a noticeable dip as so many of the buggers join the Assbiters. After that they...well get to work."

"When they are done...they just move on. Leaving nothing but destruction and misery in their wake. Most bandits have the decency to just make it misery. Not them, they are far worse."

"So...what about their warbands?"

"That is how they splinter their forces when they don't form a great warhost. Their warbands seek revenge and their members select their targets. They are all encouraged to attend to the revenge of their brethren as if it they were own...so its ALWAYS personal. They act like it too. Their bosses are strange...you see they aren't the ones who guide their bands. Instead its up to whoever needs to be avenged still."

"So they form warbands to meet it out...made up of those whose targets are close together or even the same. The rest meanwhile are made up of veterans to provide the muscle and show how its done."

"That is what they do...always unless they are preparing or meet a hard target. A hard target results in a great call to arms and they unify to crush them. Before dividing themselves up once more."

"Preparation meanwhile means training, crafting, resupply, and all the many other activities. Its the only time the Assbiters don't strike out much. At best their 'striking out' is just to do some trading when they are like that."

"After that however they strike out once more till everything is 'settled'. Then they move on to avenge those who exist elsewhere. They cannot truly be stopped...and they are too damned big to kill. Damned Assbiters may we never draw their wrath."

"..."

"Oh goddamn you did it didn't you? I thought you had fucking amnesia how the hell did yo-oh fuck I get it now...just uh change your identity and for the love of. Don't let the Shrouded One find out. Those Assbiters are relentless and they don't forget. Just ask their undead members."

Tail Mr.N maybe he's off too meet some tribals? When we find him aside from our trip being basically a sex ed tour can he teach us some PSI tricks along the way?

>Other
While we wonder through the Wood maybe feel around and see if we can sense any spirits or anything we can bind? Spoopy.

Grab our gear and leave this private zone. Get lost for a bit and then go back to the base.

We can study the psi magic necromancer book and skull.

From there we need to plan for the better gifts than what we gave. I think the base found with work for the boss.

... we also need to again on love. We can't string those kind of wemon along. That will get us killed.

Our second gift is doing our job some more? Yeah, how about we just not say anything so we don't seem like a total ass. Problem with trying to get a gift for the boss is they're a heroic warsmith and don't seem like the sentimental type.

I figure we'll stick with Foxy.
>>
>>993247
If we are going to get the Shrouded One a better gift, why not the assassin android shell? They're the one who has to keep Andy in working order, and finding spare parts for an assassin android can't be easy.
>>
>>993247
Was finding this place our out of the blue really apart of our job? Because I thought is was selling guns and getting a bunch our survivors to move where we wanted.
>>
I guess worse case for the boss we look for some high end robot parts.

Foxy may be down for rap dungeon add ons and moist towelettes.

Witch could be down for some clothes or a Loki bag of tricks.
>>
>>993337
Strictly speaking our current task is getting the survivors to move where we want, but any finds like this obviously are for the boss.
It's sort of a gray area, but splitting hairs over what is and is not part of our employment is not a good idea with the person we're dealing with.
Unless we're actually officially on holiday break, then our gift is working unpaid overtime and finding this neato base while doing so.

I can see your point.

Also, before it's to late, we should ask the master about control for undead.

>I have an idea how to get people to our new area.

The new area we found has, growing land, plenty of fresh loot, sunken complexes. Now here's the plan. We hire people to come aid us in the job, except only small trips, little by little we establish a camp to stay longer and longer. When we start finding the bigger stuff we keep it on site. Our simple scavenger camp will grow into a settlement as people move there because the pickings are fresher and new. This time will also help because what we plant in the growing area's to grow. This collage town will become a new settlement if we can keep finding fresh loot...which we will

Excellent plan. If you believe we'd have trouble simply finding people willing/eager to relocate, I shall support it.
>>
>>994518
Why not both? We just do my plan, but also if we can find people willing to move we do so

Hopefully with the new year our lack of gifts will be forgotten.

Also why are people backing training while we are still naked in the wild? With our gear and anything to study at base.

I guess we can see how hard it is to break past the barrier. Hopefully with out setting off boobytraps or adding into our waifu war.

Since it seems like the kind of thing we'll need to learn how to duplicate so we can hide.

The Genie is back a new thread will be up shortly and I am finally able to arrange a new computer replacement in like a week or so.

Bad news is I am gonna soon end up in yet another jam sometime soon and its not gonna be a small one. I am the Genie. Ending up in jams is sorta my thing as well as worming my way out of said jams. However i am not as good as I used to be due to health reasons so...yeah.

You decide to do some more training. Which is tricky given how your naked and don't have any belongings with you. On the other hand this place is unique in how its been treated to prevent notice and spying. Making it rather useful for testing stuff out that would normally draw too much attention.

Useful for when you training even if your butt naked...

What do?

IN this thread, we get glimpses into the past, we almost ruin Christmas, then we do ruin it. We deal with girl problems and tell Mr N about, you guessed it, more girl problems and to top it off we find a totally, totally innocent Blacksite abandoned blacksite.
