You are Ushi Walker, the half-japanese/half-american wielder of the mighty quirk “Everything is Bigger in Texas", U.A High first year student and Class 1-A's VP.

You are also one of the victims of a warp type quirk, which brought you to the fire area of the USJ.

Yes, 'fire area'. It probably has a proper name, but you didn't even get to do any rescue training, much less get a narrated tour of the place.

Considering your fear of fire and being partly made of wood, you'd rather be anywhere else.
Even creepy hands man at the plaza doesn't looks so bad right now.
Yet you are here, in this small piece of manmade hell, surrounded by rubble, fire and villains, most of which are also on fire.

What villains?
The ones with the League of Villains, the bunch of dicks that decided to ''scatter, torture and slaughter' you.
Motherfuckers have been doing a fine work out of the first two.

You couldn't help being warped here, that just happened to you and who knows how many others. You were scattered.
You can't help being scared to your wit's end, it's part of who you are. You are being tortured.
But there's no way in hell any of you will just stay and die like cattle.

They tried to cut you down, but Momo smacked them down.
They tried to douse you in burning napalm, but Kyoka extinguished it before it reached you.
Kaminari… He hasn't done anything yet, really.

For your part, you used your quirk on the tiny robot you brought home from the entrance exam.
Even a robot made to be beaten by middle schoolers is menacing when upscaled to be 40ft tall.

Sure, it may be a beacon to bring every single villain in the area towards you…

But there's a certain sense of safety that only standing on the head of a giant double rotary autocannon wielding robot can bring to your Japanese-American heart.

Specifically, the ability to rain non-lethal ammo on your foes while staying as far away from the flames you can be on this inferno.

"Grab onto something!" You tell your partners, pressing the 'spin' button on your phone. "This is 'bout to get even shakier!"

The instant your finger touches the screen, Tin starts vibrating, as the now massive guns under its forearms start spinning under the power of loudly buzzing electrical motors.
It's still easy to keep your footing, but if it's any indication of how the rounds are going to rock you, you were right to warn them.

Momo and Kyoka lay down and grab to the edge of the robot's head immediately, the former throwing her fireproof blanket over them.

>"Got it!" Kyoka says, and Momo nods. "Kaminari! Get down!"
>"No way! I'm not missing this!" He replies, walking next to you and looking down to the remaining villains.
>>
You glare at him for a second before turning your attention back to the screen and sliding your thumb across it, commanding the robot to open fire.

It reacts instantly, training it's multi barreled guns on the mob below and letting loose a barrage of 'soft', tennis ball sized bullets in their general direction.

You widen your stance as you feel the robot clatter and shake even more violently as the oversized primers ignite in rapid succession, making your vision blur.

That doesn't stop you from observing the effects of your attack, as the spray of bullets strikes the villains, leaving two of them twitching on the rubble, and the rest try to get counter attack.
'It looks to closer to wax than rubber, really.' You think as the projectiles get stuck to the broken pavement instead of bouncing.

>"WOOOHOOO!" Kaminari shouts excited, throwing his fists up and looking down to the scattering rabble.

"<Yippee ki-yay, motherfuckers!>" You shout. You can't help being a bit excited too, between Kyoka's bass blast and Tin's barrage, the fearsome mob that chased you has been reduced to three not-so-tough looking villains.

Except for napalm-slug-centaur man. That guy is still scary as hell.

Your excitement dies quickly though, when a torrent of flame washes against Tin't chestplate, causing both you and Kaminari to step back just in time to avoid being thrown off the robot.

>"What was that?!" Momo asks from her safe, low center of gravity perch.
"I DON'T KNOW!" You shout back.
>"You have some sort of -ugh…- status screen for that thing?!" Kyoka suggests, looking a bit green.

Oh. Yeah, you are pretty sure you do.

You stop the barrage to get a clear look at your phone and bring the status screen up.

...That's not good, even without counting the battery issues.

Just to confirm, you peek over the edge, getting hit right in the nose with the smell of burning rubber and seeing parts of Tin's massive wheel splash down...
…'yuup, shit's bad.

"Wheel's melting off!" You shout, trying to keep the panic and worry off your voice.
>"This things were never meant to last!" Momo points out. "They are disposable!"
>"I hope it lasts long enough for the teachers to come for us!" Kyoka says.

Tin's a machine. It knows no pain.
But it's your machine! On fire!

You do have a fire extinguisher, and some rope with a hook too.
...You could put that out.
But you are running dry on mass for your quirk...
You would be practically defenseless until you could get a hand on something and recharge.

"Cover me, I'm going down!" You say, pulling your rope and hook from your belt… "Shit. Shrunken, forget it. I'm running on fumes..."

Well, that's a bust.

>"Here, just remember to grow it back when you are done." Momo says, pulling the heavy tome she carried on her back and handing it to you. "'Running on fumes'... You need to shrink something to enlarge something else, right? Five kilograms, should be enough for rope."

"Thanks Momo." You say, clasping the book turning it pocket sized before handing it back. It's almost nothing for you, but she's right, it is enough for rope. "You are the best."

>"Uh, thanks?" She replies, seemingly confused at the compliment. "We'll try to cover you from here."

You enlarge the rope and hook it to the back of Tin's head, testing it's tautness and wrapping it around your gloves for something you've never actually done before. T.V. characters do it all the time, it can't be that hard, right?

With the most basic of safety tests done, you pull up your bandana, trusting in america to protect your lungs from the smoke, and start your first rappel attempt, letting the coiled rope slide around your armored glove and slowly falling a couple feet.

...Wait. Hang on.

You grab the the rope and climb back up, hoping the tire can hold on for a bit longer.

"Kaminari, catch!" You say, throwing your phone at him. "Be useful and guide Tin! It's braindead simple, just don't shoot at me!"

Kyoka has her amps and enough firepower to thrash concrete.
Momo has whatever she may think about.
Kaminari has a... cattle prod. Not something you'd want near you, but totally useless at range. He was the obvious choice.

Then you kick off and let gravity do most of the work.

>"Tin?" You barely hear Kaminari ask as you fall away from the robot's head.

...You hope you don't regret this.

You steel yourself and let the rope turn around your glove, checking your speed with your other hand and taking care to not chafe your fingerprints off by accident.

It's an awful drop through hot, black, thick and honestly disgusting smoke, only made tolerable by your bandana, and barely at that. One more reason for a bath after you make it home.

Once you feel the heat ramp up too much, you kick off Tin's plating, landing in the pavement and away from open flames

Perhaps it was the smoke on your eyes, mayhaps it was the toxic smoke clouding your senses or maybe just bad luck, but until Tin's fist crashed next to you and cleared part of the smoke, you didn't manage to see the villain a couple feet away from your landing point.

His head and hands are a bright red, engulfed in flames, while the rest of his skin is a pale white. It's obvious to you this guy is the one you called matchstick man while on Tin's head…
He looks a lot scarier at punching range.

It was a mistake.
A terrible, horrible mistake.
You need to get out, out! OUT!

You are not only in the middle of the inferno as your robot burns, but facing one of the responsibles. He's thin and wiry, true, but he's also on fire and way taller than you are.

As the flaming fist swings towards your head, you almost freeze.
These are villains, they don't play nice. You have every reason to believe they meant every part of what the mist man said.

Gritting your teeth and hoping it doesn't hurt even sounds like a good idea.
You don't though.

You may be falling apart, but atop that burning giant robot there are people you care about.
Impropentu teammates, classmates. Friends.

You do this so they don't have to.
It may be foolish, knowing they are as every bit as capable of holding their own as you are, but what kind of hero would put others in harm's way to save her own hide?

Not the kind you want to be, that's for sure.

So you call upon your weekly training at the Tigers' Den and the Strong Style you've been practising. AKA: Everything that works.

The movement you open with, for example, comes from Irish wrestling, as you try to sidestep the flaming punch…

And fail, feeling your skull rattle as your head's balance is thrown slightly off centre with a resounding snap.

A good thing about martial arts training, however, is how they embed into your muscle memory.

So even though your vision gets blurry and the wetness reaches your scalp, your body moves like a well oiled machine.

Ankle on ankle, twist his knee sideways, make him bend over.
Knee to stomach, set up.
Elbow drop to the spine, stun him.
Turn on back, pull ankles over shoulders.

CRACK!.. CRACK! ...Bingo.

>"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" The villain under you screams as you either pull his femurs out of place or break his hipbone into three pieces.
It'd be hard to tell the difference normally, but your own head feels like falling to pieces, so you don't bother.

You place your hand on his back and drain him, leaving him the size of a broken mouse before setting him up on a high piece of rubble.

About seventy kilograms. It'll do.
"Don't… Don't try running. The only other one that can… That doesn't expire. You stuck, got it?" You ramble at the matchstick sized matchstick man.

>"What!?" You hear him squeak, but you ignore him, you are already trying too hard to not freak out at the warm liquid starting to reach your chin.

You pull out the fire extinguisher and crouch.
Recharging from the well of earth itself… It always feels right.
Some part of you knows that's what plants are meant to do, you guess.

So in a a few seconds, you stand back at 14 feet tall, holding your similarly oversized fire extinguisher and letting loose all over the burning rubber and debris, as Tin's fists pound the ground in the distance, making short work of the remaining two villains.
>>
With that done, you allow yourself to touch your chin, feeling the warm, thick and sticky substance with your fingers.

You bring it up to eye level, and gaze upon it with dread.
Sweet smelling resin.
The natural healing compound your body produces when and where your wood is injured.

So with shaky hands and short breath, you raise your hands to your horns.
Left feels okay.
Right… is dripping, and hurts to touch.
You lightly trace your fingers along the grain and up to the tip, but find its end a whole inch closer than it should be, and is no less painful than sticking your fingers on a gaping wound.

You don't bother to contain your tears at this point, you just shrink and look around for the one piece of wood in amidst the white powder, gray ashes and black rubber.
Recovery girl said she could graft wood back together… Right?

It takes you less than half a minute to find it, the one piece of charcoal in a puddle of rubber.
You take out your swiss army knife and carve it out, along with a cube of rubber.

You carefully cradle it in your hands before setting it on your breast pocket, careful to not damage it further. Your conscious mind reminds you that rubber's minimal burn temperature is the same as the most resilient wood's maximum, that it's utterly dead.
You try to ignore it, but make no effort to look at your horn's stump.
Carbonized cells can't regenerate.
Charcoal doesn't grow back.
You don't want to look.

You stand there, looking at nothing until three sets of steps approach you from behind.

>"I think I've got the hang of this thing" Kaminari says.
>"That was awesome!" Kyoka cheers. "What was that? MMA?"
>"Oh dear..." Momo starts. "Are you alright?"

You wipe off the the resin from your hands and let them fall with a sigh.

"Not really. No." You answer, turning back and nodding your head sideways, trying to compensate your head's weight.
>"Oh, <fuck>." Kyoka says, cringing at the sight of your oozing horn. "That looks… painful."
"It is…" You reply, choking back a sob. "Just… Tell me… I-is the tip… charred?"

The simple fact that they gaze at each other before answering is enough for you.

"Oh." Yeah. You've operated a cattle dehorner, you know how this goes.
A broken horn will ooze for days and pull itself together, recovering in weeks. It has even happened to you.
The wound gets cauterized? Circulation drops, the horn dies and falls off within a week.
Quick and clean.

J-just great. It-it was a fire hazard a-anyway.
You'll adapt.
Not much of a choice...

>"It doesn't look that bad, but yes." Momo finally replies, producing a small mirror from her hand and pointing it in your direction.

You look at yourself on the mirror, wincing.
A good half of your hair is caked in resin, and the source doesn't look great either.
It broke diagonally, oozing… Wait a cotton picking minute.

...If the blow that broke hadn't shaken your brain like a two bill hooker at a concert, you would have realized it sooner.

It can't be cauterized if it is still oozing resin...

..Well, Momo is right, the tip itself is charred, so it won't be the same as it was, but not being a total loss lifts your spirits a fair bit.

You could deal with some branching.
...Or you could prune that tip, that'd let it grow back in its cattle like curvyness. ...It'd be as painful and hard as cutting off your pinky though.
You'll have to ruminate this…

"It's not too bad…" You mutter, giving yourself another look over.

Your hair you can wash, your horn will recover one way or another and Tin's wheel may be a mess that'll need fixing, but it's still working..
Things could be worse, is what you are thinking.

"Thanks." You tell Momo, pocketing the mirror. You know she doesn't have pockets in her suit, so returning it would be pointless. "Let's get out of here..."

>"I'm not exactly well versed in botany, but I'm sure dressing it up and bandages would help." Momo offers.
"No, thanks." You answer honestly. "Recovery Girl scolded me last time for sumthin' 'bout not getting real medical care."

Your horn is still a painful mess, you can barely see straight at the horizon and you have the worst headache you've ever had.

"I'll manage." You finish, pulling the corners of your mouth up a bit in a pitiful attempt to rebuild your cocky facade.

She stares at you for a few seconds before dropping the subject.

>"...Okay then." She finally says, tapping her staff on the white powder covering the ground. "We made some headway before the villains caught up to us, so we should be close to the perimeter of this zone and the curvature of the dome above us suggests it's within walking distance."

>"I'm glad you asked." Momo answers, grabbing her staff with both hands and using it to draw on the ground

She draws a huge circle, then four small circles and a big square before writing the the kanji for 'Fire' in the middle of the huge circle, followed by 'Tin' on the square, and 'Electricity', 'Hundred', 'Sound' and 'Cow' on the small circles.

The she draws half a circle to the right of the 'Fire' circle and another three big circles above, below and to the left of it.

>"The 'catch' as Kaminari puts it, is that we have no idea of neither the enemies numbers, their position, nor our own position." She continues then connects the 'Fire' circle to each of the other circles and and the half circle. "Once we are out we may face: A the Flood Zone, B: the Mountain Zone, C: the Plaza, or D: USJ's exterior dome's wall. So we may run into either nothing, the villain's command on the plaza, more villains or fellow students. Thus, the way we arrive may be crucial."
>"...In japanese this time?" Kaminari asks, making Kyoka groan.
>"No matter where we end, bursting outta here on a giant robot will get us into another fight if there's any villain at the other side. Got it now?" Kyoka snarks.
>"That's another way to put it." Momo says, doodling the word 'chief' under 'hundred' and 'second' under 'cow'.
>"Oh. Then I say we ride the robot." Kaminari says, shrugging. "I'm pretty sure I can keep it running."
>"I don't mind either way." Kyoka says, twirling her 'totally-not-a-sword'.

Momo for her part glances at you before adding her two cents.

>"We should try to sneak around." She says. "Not getting into any unnecessary fights, and only getting involved if we find any classmates."

>What do you do?

"Momo's right, let's try subtle this time." You say with a nod. Then you massage your temples, because Ow… "We can fight, but, like… no need to push it. Sorry, thinking be mighty hard now. I'm counting on you, prez."
>"...Right." Momo says, seemingly happy at your lack of bloodlust, then looks over her shoulder and points her thumb at the prone matchstick-man. "But what about that man?"
"Meh. He's not going anywhere. Not walking, at least." She doesn't look happy with that answer, but you wave her off, crouching to touch both the ground and Tin. Once it's back to pocket size you hand it to Kaminari. "Can you charge it? We may need it later."
>"... I can try." He says, and you immediately snatch the damaged robot back from his hands. "Chill! I'll amp up the volts and amps slowly. I've never even fried a phone."
"...I'll take your word for it." You tell him, then sigh. "Lead the way, prez."

The worst has already gone by.
You can relax a bit.
Just a bit.

>"We shouldn't have trouble until we actually get out, but lets try to keep noise to a minimum." Momo says, taking the lead.

She has an idea of what to do next and how.
And right now, that places her high above you.
Plus, the middle of the group looks cozy right now.

>"Kyoka, can you use your jacks on the ground?" Momo asks, holding her chin.
>"Sure, concrete and other dense stuff. Loose dirt and sand just muffle everything into uselessness." The short haired girl answers, stabbing her jacks into the cracked pavement below. "Right now, nothing is moving near us."
>"Great, keep doing that as often as possible, and alert Walker if you hear anything suspicious." Momo orders, receiving a nod from Kyoka and a confused head tilt from you before facing you. "Do you think you can shrink all of us if Kyoka finds anything?"
"Nope." You answer. "Can't do unless we are all connected somehow prez, sorry."
>"I think I got it." She says, pulling a piece of fabric of various shades of gray out of her forearm and handing it to you. "If you would?"

You slowly enlarge it, stopping when it got big enough to cover you all.
Turns out it was a camouflage blanket for four, with well placed eye slits and four straps of fabric dangling from its underside.

Seeing Momo grab the strip and hold it tight pulls a small smirk back to your face.
"I can work with this." You say, slipping under the camouflage blanket. "Count on me to disappear."
>"...It really is much easier than just making it big from the start." Momo thinks out loud. "Now, I'll go at the front. Kyoka, you stay behind me and keep checking as often as you think it may be necessary. Ushi, stay behind Kyoka and try stay sharp. De- Kaminari, you are on rearguard duty. Everyone clear?"

>"Got it. Once every minute should do it."
"'yuup. I'll do my duty."
>"Rearguard? I can do that."

It takes you only a couple minutes to arrive at the zone's entrance.
Not a broken down wall or a hole to sneak through, but the actual door.

>"I thought you picked a direction at random." Momo whispers.
"I tend to drift south." You sort-of explain.

Momo slowly opens the door, making sure to not make any noise.

Not that it would have mattered, as a blood curdling scream rings through the facility the same moment you cross the doorway.

>"GHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" You hear a voice scream in pain in the distance.

"What's going on!?" You say, barely keeping your voice 'down'.
>"Someone's smashing something against the floor..." Kyoka answers, her jacks inserted into the floor. "It sounds like..."
>"It is." Momo interrupts, deadly serious.

You can barely see anything beyond her back, but you can spot the pair of binoculars over her eyes.

>"That's our teacher." She confirms, passing the binoculars.
>"Oh, fuck… What even is that guys quirk? Doesn't Mr. Aizawa's quirk erase others?" Kyoka ponders out loud before passing the binoculars to you.

It takes you a bit to locate where you should be looking at.
You gaze upon the frozen waterslide and the giant ball of rocks and debris on the areas at both sides of the plaza before you spot your homeroom teacher.

The kindest things you can say are that he has seen better days, and that your horn feels like a stubbed toe in comparison right now.
You are extraordinarily limber, and even you can say, without a doubt, that not even your skeleton can put up with arms on that angle without breaking.

The crater below his face and the blood dripping from his brow paint you a clear picture of what the enormous giant hand clasping his head was doing.

The hand's owner himself looks rather calm. He looks like a mutant-type reading the newspaper instead of a villain crushing a man's skull against the floor. His neutrality is… weird.
Even the facts that his eyeballs look to be socketed in his brain and that his brain seems to be exposed for the world to see are less disturbing to you than the careless expression on his big lipped face and posture. Even the creepy hand dude standing next to them seems to be reacting.

You lower the binoculars and pass them to Kaminari, shuddering. You could have lived happily without seeing that.

>"Damn… That's messed up" He comments.
>"This… This complicates things." Momo says, obviously shocked. "Our best bet is to get to the entrance, and the best way to achieve that is through the flood zone, now that they are… busy, should be our best chance.

It's hard to tell everyone's expressions under the blanket, but one thing is clear.
No one is thrilled about the idea.
Not even you want to get close to that…

Momo looks at you over Kyoka's shoulder and tilts her head, as if asking for your opinion, or approval

>What do you do?

>[It may be way over your weight category, but… "Shouldn't we help him?"]

Shit.

If we leave, he's gonna die. But if we just charge in there, the Noumu will spray us all over the walls. Faster than us, tougher than us. No chance of landing a shrink without getting maimed in return.

Is there something Momo/we can make to give us an edge? I mean, short of a gun. It's just not done and also doesn't stop the Noumu. Something chemical maybe?

>>2161996
I feel like there's something... but that guy took out a teacher. Could have momo whip up some kind of rifle/sleep dart combo, but there's a low chance for aim and that it would work fast enough to take him down, if it could even pierce him. Some kind of smokescreen maybe? That would be a detriment to both sides though. Trying to get close is a no go with our condition. Maybe use our quirk to grow a launch surface to send whatever's on it (like a bowling ball or a net or a harpoon) in its general direction at mach speed? Might hit our teacher though... Perhaps make some facsimile of all might and send it sky high? They mentioned they were after him, so it might distract the villain alliance long enough to get aizawa out. Would help if we had someone else like bakugo to go in to save him. Might have to work with a momo net and launch it his way to catch him and drag his body over to cover. But then that might reveal our location... again, a problem solved with someone else's help.
>>
>>2162020
Noumu won’t die to some rough housing, right?

>>
>>2162362
Well it's called relationship dice, so my guess is in no. If we had someone like say allmight we could argue that because of his ideal and wanting to impress him we want to win.

So i can see a relationship dice with mom being used in a last moment with like: "if i die here now mom will be sad"

something like that.
>>
>>2162362
>>2162367

You can have a relationship with freedom itself, even.
The only limits are that it has to be concise and only apply to related thing.

But it would work the same as any other relationship, applying only if related.

People get into all kinds of situations, so you can always draw power from your friends' support.

Say, "Never tell me the odds 2d" would only be applicable on that kind of situation.

So if you are okay with a wellspring of power that can only be tapped on in the eleventh hour...

Well, it's shonen and a quest after all.

Manage well your resources.

Momo's words wash over you as your teacher's scream plays in a loop in your head.
He didn't articulate any words…
But you'd have to be blind to ignore someone in such a dire need for help.
He's screaming in pain, and as far as you could see, being physically tortured.

"Shouldn't we help him?" You ask, standing upright and wincing as your broken horn brushes against the blanket's fabric. "They are going to kill him!"
>"I wish we could... " Momo answers ashamed. "But that's a professional hero we are talking about. If they did that to him…"
>"We'd be minced meat." Kyoka finishes the thought for her. "No point in adding to the casualties."
>"Prez is right, what would we even do?" Kaminari interjects.
"I'll tell you what I'm going to do." You say, stepping out of the blanket's cover and trying to sound confident. "I'm somehow going to cross the plaza and get our teacher out of there."
>"Ushi, I think you may be suffering a concussion." Momo says.

Then she lets the blanket fall and coming to stand between you and the plaza, as do Kyoka and Kaminari. The short glances they throw each other show you that they didn't plan it.

Or at least, that they messed up the choreography.

>"...Because that's a terrible idea that will get you killed" Momo continues, tapping her staff against the concrete below. "I can't in good conscience allow you to get into a fight like that."

She sort of looks like a wizard with that thing.

Yeah, you aren't really thinking straight, still…

"There's no low ceilings here, nor nearby buildings." You explain. "I can deal with-"

In an instant, a Momo's staff, Kaminari's cattle prod and the flat of Kyoka's blade are in front of your face.

>"We can stop you." Kyoka says, looking mighty uncomfortable. "No one would say anything if we restrain you."
>"I'm sorry, really." Kaminari apologizes, his weapon's tip arching an inch from your face. "But I don't want to see an ambulance crew having to scrape you too from the concrete."

"That, right there, is a man in dire need of rescue." You tell them all of them, before dusting off some old words "I didn't move halfway across the world to get into the best hero school just to watch people in trouble from the sidelines, so help me or step aside. I won't judge, but I'm going in."

Having spoken your mind, you close your eyes and walk forwards, straight into the weapons. By the second yard, nothing had touched you, and you aren't surprised to see that the three of them lowered their weapons when you open your eyes..

"So?" You ask, leaving the actual question out. They know you mean 'Will you help me or not.'
>"If you will do it anyway… I have something in mind." Momo says, unhooking her tome from her back and sitting on the dropped blanket. You quickly tap it back to its normal size. "I'll need Kaminari for this to work, and there's no way they won't try to kill us after using it once, but I think it can keep one of them occupied."

She then starts reading.
>>
"That's a load of pronouns. What'cha gonna do?" You ask her.
>"Oh. A COIL based electrolaser... A lightning cannon, basically." She replies nonchalantly. "Sheer size could protect you from that thing, but we aren't getting any closer."[/green]
"Go in, grab teach and disappear. How does that sound?" You say, checking your whip and bread on your belt.
>"Like the most complicated noose you could find." Kyoka snarks. "Really though, don't fuck up."

"Don't worry, I'm invincible in the open field." You say, feeling your normal cockyness return.
Why wouldn't it? Besides All Might, of course, Mt. Lady and Deku are the only ones you know that could, maybe, down you at your max size.

Look for matching numbers. A match is a success. 1 pairs are success with consequences, 10 pairs are successes plus ultra. Getting more than two of one number increases the speed of the action (triples happen before pairs). More than one set (pairs or otherwise) cover multiple actions in a turn.
>>
you know something funny? nemu isn't any more resistant to electricity than anyone else of his size. Regeneration won't help much against misfiring nerves, and electrical energy is not a shockwave.

so with that pair of eights they may have just taken out the enemies heaviest hitter if they were aiming for him.
>>
>>2164430
Does bone breaking, dislocated bone sockets count as a shockwave? I know he could put it in place to heal himself but i wonder if removing Nemu's bones from it's sockets would be a good way around his absortion quirk
>>

He absorbs shockwaves, gently pressure goes through fine. in the anime at least, hands mc rape face mentioned you could scoop out chunks with a melon baller. Dislocating all his joints would put him out of action until someone helped him pop them back in.

I suspect allmight would have done something like that if he'd had the time.
>>
>>2164447
How would you... get to them? And does he not regenerate them?
>>
>>2164461
he does but the cool thing about dislocating ones bone from the socket is, not only is painfull but it doesn't brake anything you are just applying pressure and making the bone pull out of it's place. With Ushi giant size she could reach nemu and dislocate some bones
>>
>>2164481
Ushi could take Nomu if Shiggy's getting the zap cannon.

Max size is great and all, just ask Mt. Lady, but being an enormous target with an open wound? Yeah, no.
You can do better than that, you can shrink. If they can't see you, they will have a hard time even trying to hit you and even if they do try, you can spring like a flea
Hell, momma ought to be thrilled to know that it was her side of your quirk that saved the day!
...Or got her sole child ground to bolognese sauce. That's also a possibility.
But not one you should dwell on as you place your hands on your hips and shrink yourself down to six inches.

"Try to find me like this!" You say, flashing a small smirk. It's sort of the only kind of expression you can do right now. Then Momo grabs you, pressing her thumb below your ribs. "*Squeak!*"

Of course, that earns her a glare from you.

>"...Sorry, you look like a doll." She comments before setting you back on the ground.
"Pretty sure I look like a freaky case's murder weapon." You say, dusting your clothes. "I'll shrink Eraserhead and carry him to the entrance. That's pretty much my whole plan."
>"I'll be done with this really soon." Momo tells you, assembling what appears to be a laser pointer the size of her arm. "Too many details to create it at once… When you get there, give us a signal. We'll fire this thing at the fist chance we have and bolt. That should give you a few seconds of disorientation to pull this off."

"Don't worry, I'll get it done." You say and turn to the plaza. It looks even farther away now. "...I think I need a few things."

A few seconds later, you leave them to their device and kick away in a tiny scooter, covered in a camouflage handkerchief styled after a piece of concrete.
With the area strewn with rubble and rocks from nearby disaster zones, you manage to close in without being spotted by the big lipped villain, the handman nor the rabble hanging around, leaving the scooter hidden in a pile of rocks and waving the blanket's red underside in your team's direction before shuffling the last yards on foot.

Skulking from chunks of debris to rocks, to discarded gear and more debris, you manage to make your way behind the hand man and the villain holding Eraserhead's head, hiding next to your teacher's ankle.

All you have to do now is wait for your allies to give you an opening.

Then the mist man -Kurogiri, was it?- appears out of thin air, next to the Handman.

Which, considering you are less than a stone's throw away from him, is bad.
You are sure he didn't see you skulking, but you huddle behind your rock, just in case.

>"Shigaraki Tomura." The mist greets the Handman.
>"Kurogiri?" Shigaraki replies. "This means No. 13 is dead, right?"

Fuck. Fuckity fuck fuuuuuck. 13 too!?

>"I'm sad to say that the students who weren't scattered managed to intercede their teacher's favor, and thus I couldn't end No. 13's life." The villain explains in his perfect japanese, much to your relief. "I must say, however, that while No. 13 is incapacitated, it doesn't look like All Might will grace us with his presence."

...Kurogiri said they wanted to kill All Might, didn't he?
Good luck with that, even if he was here All Might is practically untouchable!

While the news brighten up your miserable day a little, they seem to give Shigaraki a terrible rash, as the man looks like he's trying to flay his own neck with his fingernails, up to the point of drawing blood.

>"Uhg… uhh… AGH!" Shigaraki moans and scratches before taking a breath. "If he isn't showing up, then we are wasting our time. Let's head home."

They are leaving! You almost give up your position at those words!..
But you don't get to, as someone else blabs out first.
>"-yay! We'are saved! SAVED!" You hear Mineta's voice coming from one of the nearby zones.

Following the sound, it's not hard to find Grapes, Deku and Tsuyu poking their heads above the tiny perimeter fence of what looks to be a landslide zone.
Thing is, you are pretty hard of hearing, so if you heard that…

>"...Actually, before we leave, let's take a moment." Shigaraki starts, looking over his shoulder.

Then he practically disappears, reappearing on the edge of the nearby landslide zone and edging out of your field of view, forcing you to turn around.
He is really, really fast…
In the blink of an eye, he went from where you are hiding to Deku's group hiding spot.

>"And sully the Symbol of Peace's pride!" He finishes…
And then you hear the sound of thunder. Twice.

Suddenly the air tastes and stinks like ozone, then a beam of blinding light hits Shigaraki right in the shoulder.

You are no physicist, and your head hurts just from thinking about that word, but even you can make the connection between something called an electrolaser, a beam of light and thunder.
Thus, you jump to Aizawa's ankle and shrink him while pulling, leaving the villain holding his head to smash his empty hand against the floor.

"Don't worry Mr. Aizawa." You tell the broken teacher, holding him in a princess carry. "It's just me, I'm getting you out of here."
>"Walker?.. Shigaraki!" He says, trying to scan the area for the handmasked villain, even when he can barely move his neck.

You turn towards the appropriate zone and see…
Shigaraki lightly holding his fist against Tsuyu's nose while Deku and Mineta look in horror.
...Just what is this guy doing?

>"It seems I've been debuffed. I can't open my hands." The hand man says, stiffly moving his arms up and down.
>"GE-GET AWAY FROM HER!!!" Deku shouts, jumping into action with a fist raised high.

When you can collapse buildings with sheer air pressure, you can afford to telegraph your punches, you guess.

>"Nomu." Shigaraki says, almost bored.

>"SMASH!" Deku shouts, and you can't help but feel anxious at the thought of seeing the villain receiving that much force.

You don't get to see the impact however, as a dust cloud engulfs the villain.
When it dissipates you almost sprain your neck looking back.
The huge villain that was holding Mr. Aizawa is now between Deku's fist and Shigaraki.
It must have passed by right next to you and you didn't notice.

>"... A 'Smash' you say?" The lanky villain says, as 'Nomu' grabs Deku's entire arm in his hand. "Well, whatever, Kill him first."

Shiggy’s has his wings clipped. We’ve got Aizawa, I’m sure Mineta and Tsuyu can handle Nomu. If we’re really lucky, there might be another shot in the COIL.

If we really need to turn back, Aizawa will tell us to. But we can’t just abandon him.
>>
Mic, how is Mineta’s aim? I figure a couple grapes to the eyes oughta give Nomu something to worry about.

Yes.

The plan has changed slightly. But i can't remember if Aiza2a needs to keep his eyes on the target to cancel it's quirk. If anything we can give teach the camouflage cover and go rescue the others. Maybe even have grapes shrink and drop his sticky balls behing us.

In and out. Grab your teacher and dash to the entrance.
That's what you told Momo you'd be doing, and you don't go back on your word.
So with a heavy heart you turn your back to Deku and crouch.

Maybe if you leap now you'll get to the entrance without being seen?..

>"Turn me back. NOW." Aizawa says, jumping to his feet next to you, still only a few inches tall..

What?
He is bleeding from gashes all over his face, and you are sort of surprised at the fact that he still has a two piece skull after having his head used as a jackhammer, and one of his arms looks about to fall off, what with the visible bends and turns it definitely shouldn't have and the exposed muscle tissue at his elbow dripping blood down to his limp hand.

...yet, on the whole, he looks more inconvenienced than broken.

>"I need you to return me to normal and run to the entrance." He tells you, taking hold of his capture weapon with his other hand. "... Maybe if I bother them enough they'll decide this is not worth the effort."
"...You almost died!" You say, keeping your hands to yourself. "Why would it be any different this time?"

Charging horns first into a potential death? Sure, you can gamble your hide and deal with your own idiocy and its consequences…
But not others! You came here to get him away from the fight, not to send him back in!

>"Look at it this way. You are heavily bleeding from a head wound, yet you risked life and limb to rescue me." He answers, pointing at Deku. "All I have to do is make him drop Midoriya and keep Shigaraki from using his quirk when whatever happened to him wears off."

You are about to enlarge him when you stop yourself, keeping your pinky high.

"Then what?" You ask him. "Nomu drops Deku, and goes back to attacking you. What then?"
>"...I'll see to that when the time comes." He answers, fixing his goggles. "Now return me to normal, I'd like to return to U.A. with my students being counted in natural numbers."

He has no plan beyond saving Deku, his own safety be damned.
You can respect that.

You let your finger fall, tapping his shoulder with all five fingers and giving him back his mass.

>"Run. Don't get involved again." He orders you before running at the pair of villains.

You watch as Eraserhead closes the distance and throws his scarf at Shigaraki, who doesn't seem worried about it.

>"You are overestimating yourself again Eraserhead… Didn't you learn anything? You can't beat him! Nomu!" At his command, Nomu, the enormous villain, just drops Deku and shoots himself between the capture weapon and Shigaraki, grabbing the former out of the air and pulling on it, propelling Eraserhead towards him and receiving a solid flying kick to the brain.

Despite that, Nomu doesn't even flinch.

>"But where did you come from…" Shigaraki says, scanning around and stretching his arms, making his hands twitch, still not fully opening.

He then looks straight at you.

>"That one goes third. First we kill the All Might fan, then whoever shot me and then that bug." He says. "But kill Eraserhead this time, or an ally might revive him again."

Once again, Nomu reacts immediately to his words, lunging at the bloodied hero.

He doesn't get to grab him this time though, as a pillar of ice shoots from the floor between them, being crushed between his arms instead of Eraserhead...

And a wonderful, wonderful chaos breaks loose, as Daisy, Kirishima and Shoto join the fray.

>"I heard about your plan to kill All Might, but you assholes can't pull that off without him, can't you?" Shoto taunts them as he walks out the flood zone, being the first to show himself. "Now you are just throwing a tantrum and venting on children. Pathetic."

A second later enters Daisy,…
Who ignores the actual fight to get the jump on Kurogiri, for some reason. Dude was just watching. It's hard to pay attention to his screaming with Kirishima here.

The bare chested boy does something either awesomely stupid or awesomely brave.
It's certainly awesome though, you think as he leaps towards Shigaraki, his left fist telegraphing a punch so hard it probably costed Pony her mail delivery part time job.

The awesome part wasn't that however, as Shigaraki leans right, like any person with eyes would… Only to receive a quick right jab on the ear that almost makes him lose his balance.

>"Nomu. Change of plans, punch that one first." Shigaraki says, holding his head in his now open hands, keeping his pinkies up.
>"Got him!" Kirishima celebrates for just an instant, before a large and dark fist strikes him in the middle of the chest, sending him flying a couple dozen yards and sprawling him on the ground.

As life would have it, he landed next to you, almost flattening you.
>>
This allows you to see just how much damage he received from Nomu's punch... A lot.
His rock-like skin is covered in a cobweb of red lines all over his chest, but his legs are worse, having classic tales of fracture such as having both legs bent sideways,

Yup, awesome.
Using the old 'dread inspiring' meaning of awe, of course.

>"I'm fine..." The redhead moans, then he sees your tiny self for the first time. "Hey."

>"This is why I told you all to stay with 13!" Aizawa shouts at everyone and no one at the same time. "Walker, take him to the entrance and stay there with him! Everyone else too!"

"Howd- Hey? Just hey?" You start returning the greeting instinctively, before your brain catches up with your mouth."Do you even know how you got here!?"

Guy has, at the very least, two fractured legs and what you think are major lacerations all over his torso. That's not fine.

>"You know that feeling when you are expecting something painful to happen, and it doesn't?" He asks you.
"I think I do?" You answer, pondering how to carry someone with his injuries.

The answer comes to you, once again, from your wrestling training.
You enlarge yourself back to normal and initiate a reverse Death Valley Bomb on Kirishima, taking care to stop the throw with his back over your shoulders.
...That would have been a major fuck up.

>"Well, I feel like that from the shoulders down. Pretty sure the pain is going to hit in full if I look down, like in a 4koma." He explains, sounding a bit distant.

"Hey! Stay with me okay." You tell him as you sprint towards the massive entrance, your resin soaked hair slapping your hair.

You hope that Eraserhead and the others will keep the villains away from your retreat…
But even in your imagination you can't really see this going great for them.

>"I don't want to make things worse, but we may have a problem." Kirishima says pulling your attention back to reality. "Another one, I mean."

"What?" You reply, looking ahead. "Oh, <horsefeathers>! ...Grab on to something."

You see your route seemingly cut short, as the remaining small fry villains move to intercept you...

Not going to stop. Get to the gate, you think as you lower your head, slightly tap your hip and charge forwards, growing larger as you run shoulder into first the non-flaming mob.

Much like anything with common sense, they make way from the 50-plus feet tall, bloodied and really damn angry american stomping their way, allowing you to finally reach the entrance and jump over the stairs.

You don't like what you see upon landing though.

13, lies face down on the floor, broken.
Mine is sitting by No. 13, talking to and shaking the hero, probably trying to keep 13 conscious.
Iida, Sato, Shoji and Sero are at the top of the staircase, staring down the villains and making their best to look menacing.

All your classmates turn their heads to you, as they are wont to do with such an entrance, but you can't help but feel self conscious when they wince at your wound.
Nothing you can do about that now, though. You have something more important to do right now.

"Help!" You scream, feeling your strength starting to fail as your adrenaline starts to wears off and quickly shrinking down. "First Aid, anyone!?"

>"...Your hor- Eiji!?" Mina says, looking first at your horn, then at the boy slung over your shoulders.
>"Hey Pinks." The boy in question says, softening his body as you lay him on the ground next to 13 with as much care as you can. "Man, I really went over my head this time, didn't I?"
>"You've always done it, you idiot." Mina says, passing her shaking hand over the red lines on his chest.
>"Shit, that stings!" He comments, but doesn't shy away.
>"Of course it does, doofus. It's acid." She replies.
"...What?" You ask, taking out your loaf of bread and taking a bite. Heavens knows you need the carbs right now, between the resin, the wound itself and your quirk you are more than a tad lightheaded.
>"I don't know! I have no idea of what to do!" She answers. "But I had to do something. Like disinfecting."
>"Calm down Pinks, you are doing your best." The redhead reassures her. "Can't say I did did much myself, got swatted like a softball at first hit. Sort of glad I did though."
"Pretty shure I'm the one that got her head smash'd, so why you'r talking nonsense?" You ask through your mouth full of bread.
>"Well, I mean… I'm glad it was me." He explains, looking down at his chest and legs. "ARGH! Ye-eah… It hurts, but I'll just go see Recovery Girl and walk away. Anyone else though?

You don't answer, instead looking down to the plaza.

Eraserhead is almost spent, and you can guarantee he must be suffering some internal bleeding from that beating. Hell, if not for Shigaraki toying with him, he'd be flat out dead.

Nomu took a kick to the head and a punch to the gut from Deku and didn't even bulge.
The kind of punch that collapsed a building with sheer air pressure.
He is so fast you couldn't follow him with your eyes and hit Kirishima hard enough to crack his rock-like skin and break his legs with the remaining force on landing.

The closest thing to a bright side you can see now is that Shigaraki wanted to go home. Maybe he'll get bored before killing all of you..?

You need a miracle.

And, just as if it was christmas, the great entrance door opens softly.

"ALL MIGHT!" Your classmates and you yell, and you would be lying if you said you didn't cry a little.
"Sorry for missing most of… the… training" All Might says, entering the precinct and taking in the scene. "I had a bad feeling about this… I was hoping to be wrong, but decided to check on you all."

This may be the first time you've seen All Might not only drop his award winning smile, but actively scowl…
He looks mad.

"Terrorising and threatening the lives of children... You've really made me angry!" He shouts down the plaza, then he turns back to y'all, taking off his suit jacket and letting it flutter down to the floor. "But there's no reason to fear anymore. It's all right now. FOR I'M HERE!"

And with just that, you let yourself slump on one of the entrance columns and watch how All Might disappears and reappears at the plaza, and every single villain between the plaza and entrance fall one after the other, like dominoes.

In an instant the hopeless fight gets turned as All Might comes to stand next to Eraserhead.
You can't hear what they say, nor Shigaraki's reply, but in the blink of an eye, the area is covered in a dust cloud.

But you need a > at the beginning of the line to greentext.

Not yet…
You still have some fight left on you!

There are not only classmates unaccounted for, but ones you know are far too close to that fight!
Momo, Kyoka and Kaminari, you know of, and both of the girls were a bit banged up from your previous scuffles.
Shoto and Daisy can probably hold their own…
Grapes and Tsu? You'd say they are out of their league… But if All Might and Nomu are setting the bar, you all are playing little league in the MLB.
You shake your head to clear the sleepiness away.

"...Kirishima, you 'nd Daisy came from..?" You ask the wounded redhead, staying upright just because you will yourself to be.
>"What?.." After a second of thought, he realizes what you are asking. "Oh! The storm zone. We swept the whole area, so there's nothing there but soaked and beaten villains."
"Thanks." You say, making some quick math.
Not counting the entrance and the plaza, there are six zones.

Shoto came out of the ice zone… You are sure it was water before, which makes it obvious.
Deku, Grapes and Tsu from the landslide area.
You, Momo, Kyoka and Kaminari, from the fire zone, and you aren't going back in there…
Fine, you'll go for Kaminari and the girls, but not inside the dome.

That leaves the close ruins zone and the far out mountain zone to find Fumikage -and Dark Shadow-, Koda, Aoyama and Toru… Can you even find Toru?
After making sure all of them are okay, and only then you'll allow yourself to fall apart.
This is what heroics is all about, ain't it? Putting others' well being above your own?
You can endure it, you are good at that kind of thing.

"Iida…" You call to the knight in shining armor and dig out your phone before mumbling "Here, this… This thing's good. Ought to have a good range, yes? Go out, call for help. Everyone."

...Damn. You sound like Pony. Still, you turn back to the stairs and the joint below, and reach for your hat's brim.

Huh.
It's gone…
Nevermind. Friends go first, and that was just a hat. The costume guys should be able to replace it.

So you lower your hand to your tight, as you usually do to enlarge yourself, but don't get to touch your leg.

>"...Walker. What are you doing?" Iida asks, holding your wrist. "You should be resting."
"Go. I'll be fine, I can take it." You answer, turning to look at him and cracking your neck. "Just search and rescue."
>"You've done enough..." He says.
"I have a class to look out for." You tell him, shaking your arm off his grasp. "And that was a VP order. Go save us, <Idaten>."

He looks conflicted for a few seconds, before nodding

>"... All right. Take care of yo- the class." He says, first nodding, then dashing away, grasping your phone in his hand. "I'll be back soon, Vice President!"

First, second and third gear, then he's too far for you to see, up that road.
Hopefully your phone will be able to push through the jam in the air before he runs all the way back to school.
...That's how jamming works, right?
Whatever.

You place your hand on your thigh and look at the area below.

Grapes and Tsu are on their way to the entrance.
Somehow, Kurogiri is free again, and now Deku, Shoto and Daisy are standing close, but not quite in the fight.

All Might's shirt's sleeves are all busted and he seems to be trying to dock Nomu on the face. Frighteningly enough, it doesn't seem to be working.
Eraserhead, for his part, is trading quick blows with Shigaraki and sporadically gazing at Kurogiri, if the opening and closing 'warp windows' around them are any indication.

You have some options.

>What do you do?

>[Go for your team near the fire zone. Shigaraki already said he wanted them dead.]
>[Go into the ruins zone and fetch whoever may need your help.]
>[Go to the far mountain zone, and get whoever may be there.]

You didn't quite fall from grace today.
And thought you've heard it as a cat call quite some times, you've never fallen from heaven.
You did, however, fall into a pretty good approximation of hell.
You really don't know what you would have done if you fell all the way down there.
Luckily, you didn't.

Momo, Kyoka and Kaminari risked a safe landing on their BASE parachute to catch you, and the girls paid the price.

And that's without counting your fights on the fire zone or the trick they used on Shigaraki that made them targets.

Thing is, you owe this people, and you won't leave them hanging.

So with your hand on your thigh you leap and enlarge yourself as fast as you can, using the explosive force of your growth to propel yourself forwards and away from both the entrance and the plaza, aiming towards the… Avalanche zone?..

You are sure he doesn't have the time to actually do it, but you can feel Eraserhead glaring at the back of your head in disapproval.

Sorry teach. Friends and date first, then you'll see about staying put like a good girl.

>"We are cornered and you are all still fighting." You hear Shigaraki say as you soar away. "Tough kids you are rearing, Eraserhead. We bring over seventy villains and end with a three versus five?"
"Sit back with your classmates my boys!" All Might interjects. "And watch the pros wrap this up."
>"It's a three versus two." Eraserhead replies. "The kids are leaving. And I hope these actually stay away."

...You may need to give some explanations later.

You catch a glimpse of All Might and Nomu doing a do-si-do and trading blows at impressive speeds. At least four full swings in the instant you turned your eyes their way.
Worryingly enough, All Might seems to take more of a toll than Nomu, as his strongest punch only manages to send the villain reeling a few steps back.

You hear Shigaraki's voice, but don't manage to make out the words, taking care to land properly instead and dash for your friends.
Knowing your limits and, being a long jump, the landing isn't that hard.
On you, that's it. The pavement is wrecked on your landing spot, but you have long passed the point of caring about collateral damage.

And right now, that's a good thing, as you find a new mob of villains surrounding Momo, Kyoka and Kaminari.

Even without you, the girls run a tight formation, as six of the nine villains fall to Kyoka's speakers and Momo's staff before they can even lay a finger on them.

That's not to say that they don't, as a tailed villain manages to sweep Momo's legs right off the ground.

That's a good reason as any for you to run and support your friends, and to be honest, you didn't really need one.

You can't help but cross your arms over your chest and grin as you approach the final steps, as the last three villains retreat a few yards just at the sight of you.

As for your friends…
Kyoka looks no different than she did when you left them, except maybe looking a bit angrier.
Momo's limp has worsened, but she still grips her staff with conviction, and the bandages wrapping around her hands are still spotless.
Kaminari… Looks different somehow, giving a double thumbs up and having what looks to be a big and blocky fiddle case taped to his back.

"I'm back, sorry for being late." You sort of explain yourself to them. "What did I miss?"
>"Kaminari shorted himself out with that shot." Momo explains. "I didn't plan it thoroughly and it made far too much noise."
>"Please tell her it's not her fault." Kyoka says. "The important part is that we've been pinned by villains coming from the Mountain Zone. They seem to think they are in a movie though, so they've been coming in small numbers."
>"Wey…" Kaminari… Oh, you've seen this before. He was like this after the battle trial!

Looking around at the twitching bodies strewn around, you are impressed.
It must be over a dozen villains taken out!

"Let's leave now, then." You say, crouching to pick your pals up.
>"We've tried." Kyoka says, wiping her blade on her sleeve. "The instant we turn our backs on them they try to get the jump on us."
"...I'm here. Let them try." You say, perching your friends on your right shoulder. Left's a bit… icky.

You turn away from the damned fire zone, and thus the mountain one, and start walking away…

Yet, in what you think must one of humanity's most stupid moments, your back is pelted in attacks.

Blades slice at your ankles, rocks smash against your back and a particularly ambitious flying kick crashes against your elbow.

It all tickles.

It's in moments like this that you remember why you feel your cockiness is guaranteed, you are pretty damn awesome.
...Good thing you bought that bread though, doing this takes a toll on you.

>What do you do?

The problem with that, is we're currently holding our much more squishy classmates. All it would take is a lucky hit and/or we trip, and we just put our friends in danger.

Don't this people know you could reduce them to a thin red paste with your boot?
Because you sure as hell know it, rolling your eyes as what appears to be a spear of bone taps your left shoulder, doing an equivalent amount of damage to your hide as a spitwad would have.
Retaliation could be messy, and you'd rather not have their blood on your… boots.
Instead, you just glance at your friends and shrug slightly, as to not drop them.

"You gotta admire that level of hard headedness." You comment before turning back to the mob giving chase to you and scraping the floor with your boot, sending a dust cloud in their direction. "Shuu, go away, shuu."

After that you don't really know if what hits you is debris or aimed attacks, but you run back towards the entrance.
You sort of hope it's debris, because if this is the result of villains actually trying, then the league is actually a handful of villains and a lot of idiots whipping their quirks out.

Which would mean you had terrible luck on the fire zone, or you fucked up at some point.
You'd rather not think about it.
Nor about anything else, really.
Thinking itself is getting harder….

>"Ushi… Are you alright? You are certainly looking pale" Momo comments, using her staff to poke you on the jaw and to snap you out of your daze. "Are you sure you can keep this up? We could walk-"
"Don't." You cut her off. "I'm fi- Not fine, that'd be a straight up lie... I'm tip toeing the line with my quirk, but I can take it. And I'm pretty sure that's what the school motto's all about."

...How did it go?
Fuck latin.

>"Ushi." Kyoka calls your attention, poking your shoulder with her blade and pointing at the… blizzard… avalanche zone?. "There's someone in there."
"Sure, whoever thought Shoto could be stopped by a soakin'" Another of those 'moronic moments, feat mankind', really.
>"A crying girl? Doubt it." She says. "Can't see it… But it's too arrhythmical to be fake… I think."

That stops you in your tracks.

Uraraka was at the entrance along with Iida.
Tsu was next Grapes and getting there.
Mina is with Kirishima and 13.
Momo and Kyoka are with you.

>"...You think?" Momo asks. "So it could still be a fakeout?"
>"Yeah… Never had to practice picking sounds through human flesh." Kyoka says, shrugging. "It could be anything else too."

So, we've probably got about one more quirk use in us before we're falling unconcious.

And if Hakakure is frozen up to her armpits as I fear, then we NEED to use that quirk use on giving our mass to Hagakure, so the gigantothermy saves her from full-body necrosis.

We should also see about getting Sero to swing from the cieling of the dome to go to that one zone and find/bring back Fumikage, Koda, and Aoyama to the plaza.

And if Hagakure manages to get back on her feet, well...

"I don't recall hearin' Toru back at the entrance...." You tell your friends, not bothering trying to mask the worry in your voice. "But I reckon I might have a few screws knocked loose, so i might just be slinging bull. Prez?"
>"Yes?" Momo asks from her perch on your shoulder.
>"She means it's your call, Momo." Jiro explains your point. "And that she's trying to hide a contusion."
>"Mine?" She asks you, quickly receiving a slight nod in return. "Well… We have to check it out, Toru could be in real trouble and risking anything drk.. I trust you could get us away in case of an ambush?"
"Sure." You answer. "If the ice can handle little ol' me…"
>"No offence, but try walking around the ice until we can figure out the source." Jiro comments. "You hurt yourself pretty badly on the first day of school falling on yourself."
"Got it." You say, and enter the avalanche zone.

At first it just looks like a winter wasteland from any disaster movie, up to the boat in the middle of it all, but being in the area allows you to spot two important facts.
First off, there are no villains that you can see in the area.
Second, all around the boat there are holes where the ice was purposefully melted.

Shoto must have taken the villains out of the ice before leaving, despite having no obligation to do so. Cool.

>"From the entrance, let's round the ice counter clockwise" Momo directs you.
"Hmm… Care to point me the way?" You say with a nervous giggle.

You wouldn't admit it if they asked, but you aren't quite seeing straight anymore and opening your eyes again after blinking is getting ever harder.
Not that you'd let that stop you though, you have some pretty cool angels on your shoulders and some people in need of aid close by.
So you carry on, there'll be peace when you are done.

>"...Right, of course, sorry." Momo apologizes , pointing with her staff. "This way, and keep leaning to the side. It's fairly round on the back shore."

So you shuffle carefully in the right direction, trying to not step on the ice. You really don't want to fall into frigid water with or without your friends.
A few steps around take you to the back of the frozen water slide, where even you can distinguish a sobbing among the faint sounds of the fight on the plaza.

>"It's her." Jiro assures you. "There are two long holes on the ice and I think I can see her trying to drag herself out."
>"...How?" Momo asks, taking the question form your mouth.

>"Two leg shaped holes in the ice, next to something lifting up sand on the shore and all that being in the same place the sobbing is coming from?" Jiro snarks. "Put us down Ushi… Unless you want to shrink and come with us?"
"No can do, sorry." You answer. "Not sure if I can pull of another growth after undoing this one."

'And I'm not going within a city block of Nomu at any size squishier than this.' You add in your thoughts.

So you crouch and make a makeshift ramp with your arm, allowing Kyoka to jump down and help Momo out. With the girls doing the groundwork, you can only watch as Kyoka plugs her jacks in the ice and shatters a good twenty square feet of it..

In a couple seconds, Momo finishes throwing salt on the few floating and shivering pieces of ice and they carry her back up to you.

"So, what happened?" You ask the three girls as you pick them up with one hand.
>"I-I got dropped into the water at-at the other side of-of the boat." Toru's voice starts, sobbing. "The villains went for Todoroki and-and I took the chance to-to ditch the costume and swim silently away, b-but when Todoroki started freezing the water I-I was too far to say so-something. I a-almost made it out too…"
"'s okay sugar." You try to reassure her. "Gals gotcha out."
>"I thought I was going to die in there…" She continues. "I had been screaming for minutes…"
Then she's interrupted by Kyoka draping her jacket over her… legs. Or the invisible gal is sitting backwards and you didn't notice. It could happen.
>"No one is dying here." Momo states, sitting on you shoulder and placing a hand on what you guess is Toru's forehead. "We got you and almost everyone else is accounted for. But for now let's take care of your hypothermia before it worsens."
>"I'm really worried about your feet, really." Kyoka tells Toru, sitting on your shoulder again. "I've heard of some really bad frostbite from less."
>"O-okay." You hear Toru say. "Th-thanks."
"We leavin' yet?" You ask your passengers, stretching your legs, and wobbling a bit.
>"Indeed, lets head to the entrance and rendezvous with the rest of the class." Momo says, pointing the way with her metallic staff and flipping through her tome, now open on her lap. "I'm sure I requested some of the most common rescue items… Next time I have a moment, I'm adding an index."

You turn away from the frozen water slide and make your way back to the entrance of the area, looking down to the ground to avoid the ice.

>"Heating pads might be slow, but they'll help you back to a healthy body temperature." Momo says, either making floating pads or piling them on Toru. "I'll get you a blanket in a minute. Hopefully before it gets worse than a bad cold."

>What do you do?

So, uhh, are we gonna tell Shoto he almost killed one of his classmates?

On the one hand it'll be depressing, but on the other hand he REALLY ought to know so it doesn't happen again.

Also, he owes her, like, a card or something. 'Sorry for almost crippling you, didn't see you there' or somesuch.
>>
>>2183246
>So, uhh, are we gonna tell Shoto he almost killed one of his classmates?

Yes we will. Although we can't blame Shoto, he was being attacked by villans and Torou was invisible and out of hearing reach as she had stated. Heck we only found her thanks to Jiro's quirk. Still this proves he doesn't have much care for damage or he thought there wasn't anyone else so he could go all out. Maybe this will be a good lesson to him so he can hold a little bit onheb the icing villans.
>>
>>2183246
It's not like he was being reckless. He did, after all, make sure the villains were safe.

We just gotta tell him he might want to dial back the aoe a bit.

>You wouldn't admit it if they asked, but you aren't quite seeing straight anymore and opening your eyes again after blinking is getting ever harder.

Uh, guys.
I think ushi's all plus ultra'd out.

There's a difference between giving it 110% and endangering your own life needlessly.
We've done a lot, i think it's time to entrust the rest to our friends. They're more than capable, so there's no need for us to carry the world on our shoulders.

Think about how mom would feel if we end up in a coma for a week because of this, after the school gets attacked. We'd have one hell of a time keeping her from pulling us out, and with good reason.
Recovery girl is gonna be pissed, too.
>>
>>2183642
No we definetly returning to The entrance. And fainting as soon as we get there. Fumikage and the other boys can take care of themselfs.
>>
>>2183642
To be fair, most of the damage came from matchsticks, who we only fought because we were interrupted from a really responsible retreat plan. After that we’ve been trying to save people without fighting.

Still, it’s definitely time to call it quits.

We’ll still worry up a storm about those last 3 boys though.
>>
>>2183862
Nah, Soji is stronger then he looks, even if his quirk is useless here. Ayoama can shoot laser from his navel And Fumikage easily beated us with dark shadow. The fact they are likely together and in the ruins were Fumikage can use the darkness to increase his quirk and choke point for Ayoama be able to catch mutiple villans with his laser gives then terrain advantage.

You have an idea. You are pretty sure it would work too.
But there's no way you can do it. Just... too awkward.
So you let the girls handle it.

A few seconds later Momo bares her chest and…
Well, you look away.
But when you look back, she is hugging Toru close and has covered both of them with a thick, wool looking blanket. She has also closed her costume back.

It feels nice to be useful and to take part of the world's weight on your shoulders.
Not having to carry it all also feels pretty good, you think as you step out of the zone.

You barely manage take a second step out of the zone's gate before something else catches your attention though.

In the middle of the plaza, All Might lifts Nomu over his shoulders and suplexes him into the concrete hard enough to blow your hair back with the resulting explosion.

A belly to back suplex like that is meant to be devastating and a show of strength.
But a massive dust cloud of half your size is, in your educated opinion as a rookie wrestler, pretty fucking cool. You gotta learn yourself how to do one of those.

>"Are you all seeing this?" Kyoka suddenly asks, pointing at Nomu's legs sticking out of the broken concrete.
>"See it?" Momo comments, holding "I felt that!"
>"W-Woo!" Toru cheers for a second before starting coughing.

"Allow me." You tell Toru before overtaking her cheer. "WOOHOO!.."

While way louder, it's not longer. You just don't have the energy for it.
You do manage to avoid having a coughing fit, though.

It's, in twisted way, a good thing that you can't cheer for longer, as Nomu just bursts out of the pavement without any visible effort and lunges back at All Might, the two bruisers quickly becoming a blur of black and white.

He got his exposed brain driven through at least five feet of concrete and didn't even flinch!
Just what does it take to keep that guy down!?

You make a brisk pace back to the entrance, taking advantage of the fact that your sheer size and, well... weight, keep your footing stable even in the absurd winds to keep you safe from the few small fries mucking around and that Eraserhead has the other two villains 'pinned''.

The wind is strong enough to cause both the villains and your homeroom teacher… and your three too close for comfort classmates to brace themselves against it's sheer force. ...And they are doing that with their fists!

Considering you can feel your bandana flapping, it must be enough to send someone smaller flying just by standing close enough.

On the entrance, atop the stairs, everyone who can stand on their own is doing so and staring at the flurry of blows below.

"This's your stop." You tell your friends, standing besides the staircase and letting the girls climb off your arm and back to solid ground.
>"You should get some rest." Momo says, helping Toru along. "It won't help anyone if you keep pushing yourself. There's no need to add yourself to the casualties."
>"The pros got this." Kyoka assures you. "I'm sure All Might will walk over here laughing in a minute or two."

Kaminari you just pick up and place carefully on the floor. It's the least you could do.

He stands where you left him, looking up to you and giving you a double thumbs up.
"Uh huh." You reply sitting next to him and placing your hands on your thighs. "...Yah think the rest's okay?"
>"Wey..." He says.
>"It's no use, he'll be like this for a while." Kyoka says, sitting at your other side and dangling her legs over the edge. "But if you want my take on it… They'll be fine."
"...If I stop, I'd be leaving three classmates out there to fend for themselves." You say, holding your buckle and turning it up to finally look at your face. "I can put up with a lot, but what if they have it worse?"

Your horn is broken, that you knew. The tip is in your pocket after all, but the splintering and shattering you see… Knowing that'll heal doesn't make it prettier.
And the charred parts… M-maybe some trimming will fix it?..
The wound itself is covered in resin, so at least it won't get infected, but 'won't get worse' does little for you.

Deep inside you, you know that if you stop worrying about the present, you'll start worrying about everything else.

The fight on the plaza looks really interesting…
Really!
It's just…
You aren't running on fumes.
Those too ran out a while back.
You are pretty much waiting to stall and crash.
...It's sort of amazing you've got this far, actually.

So you sigh and let go of your buckle, placing your hands on your lap and slowly shrinking yourself back to your biology dictated size.

As the wispy vapour leaves your body for parts unknown, you are left sitting yards away from either Kaminari and Kyoka.

That's fine.
You'll just…
Lie back for a bit.
Take a breather…
…Hang on.

"...Kyoka?" You call for your friend, slowly lowering your torso to the ground and looking up to the sky colored dome between you and the real sky.
>"Hmn?" She says, standing up, walking over to you and sitting by your now smaller side. "Finally going to stop?"
"Could you me a solid…" You ask of her. "When the reinforcements gets here, ask Iida for my phone, would ya?"
>"Sure." She answers, lying back next to you. "I'll tell him."
"...And I know you said they'll be fine… But tell me someone's going to get them. Not necessarily you or Momo… But don't leave them."

She looks at you with confusion for a second before smirking.

>"At least someone got to do her rescue training." She says. "I'll tell Momo in a bit, she can figure it out."
"Heh. Thanks y'all." You say, raising your arm with a thumb up.
>"Wey..." He Kaminari says, giving a double thumbs up in return and wandering off.
>"...He's still loopy" Kyoka states.
"Next time I'm up, I'm… -yawn- I'm treating y'all to a hearty meal. I'm pretty good in the kit-" You tell her, feeling yourself fade away, and with that you are out.

Curious things, dreams are.
Some would have assigned personal meanings and iconography to the nonsensical dreams you had, but you know better than to tear apart nice things to try and figure out what makes them tick.

...You only do that when you have a spare or dad is home. He usually fixes what you break.

But why would you analyze the pure and innocent nonsense of cows jumping over the moon, ponies riding through mires and speckled frogs jumping into the pool?

You yourself almost end jumping over the moon when the sound of a door slamming open snaps you back into consciousness.

"AAAAAHHH!!- Uh..." You scream, sitting up and taking in your surroundings.

You are certainly not on the USJ anymore, as you find yourself in bed in a nurse's office.
Not the one you know of and have been in a few times by now, but a similar looking one.

One of the first things that catches your attention is your costume nearly folded on a nearby chair.

You quickly look down, peeking below the covers to confirm that you are, indeed, wearing an hospital gown.
It could have something to do with the second thing that caught your attention, the curtain cutting the room in half.

>"You said five hours of rest." Momma says, entering the room. "I did my waiting, I'm going to see my girl!"

>"I understand your procupation, but please, calm down." Recovery Girl says, walking in behind her. "You'll give the poor dearie a heart attack."
>"...Sorry." Your mother replies, looking at you with a soft smile. "I just had to see her…"
"Howdy." You greet them with a wave.
>"Heya." Momma returns the salute, walking over to your bed.

It's sort of sad, really, but you are already used to the specific brand of tired that comes from from being healed by Recovery Girl. Nothing hurts, but you still feel your head unbalanced. That's not good.

"...It was in the breast pocket." You say looking past your mother, to Recovery Girl. "Was it not possible to?.."
>"Sorry dearie, but it was completely dead." She says shaking her head. "Grafting it back would have been a major health hazard. But I did remove the charred tips and smoothed the splinters before healing, so it should grow back in time."
"Oh."
>"Well, that's a relief." Momma says, dragging a chair next to your bed. "Just a broken horn… Not the first time you've done that."
>"It was burnt, Mrs. Walker." Recovery Girl says. "There's permanent damage to the sapwood."
>"Uh..." You love your mother, but plants aren't her thing.

As far as you know about yourself, that meant the softer wood beneath the hard covering is damaged somehow.

You raise your hand to your horns and slowly drag your thumbs over the wood and bandage, quickly realizing the problem.

Your left horn 'tickles' as usual, but the shorter, right one does nothing.
You can feel the grain under your finger, but you can't feel your finger over your horn.
Scratching with curiosity only makes noise...
Tapping worriedly doesn't register either.
Before you notice, you are desperately knocking on your own skull and Momma has to grab your wrists to keep you still.

>"Hun, Ushi, calm down." Momma says, moving to sit on the bed and throwing her arms around you.

You may be hard of hearing, but you have an excellent nose.
She tried to hide it, but she was drinking not too long ago.

>What do you do?

"I'm…" You start talking, take a deep breath and continue. "I'm fine…"

Not exactly true, but what has whining ever done for you?
Nothing, that's what.

And it's not like an unfeeling horn could cripple you or anything.
Unlike multiple fractures, or skinny dipping in frozen water.

"But, how's everyone else?" You ask Recovery Girl while nuzzling your mother's arms. "Hagakure, Jiro, Kirishima, Mr. Aizawa, N° 13 and Yaoyorozu? Everyone else, are they okay?"
>"Hmm… Most of your classmates only suffered minor injuries, if any." The school's nurse says. "Hagakure, Jiro and Yaoyorozu only need rest, and they should get it with the school closed tomorrow. N°13 suffered some serious lacerations to both arms and back, but remains stable. All Might and and Midoriya are both in the main infirmary, having received their treatment."

...Deku broke something again?

"Thanks…" You say, before recounting the names. "Wait, what about Mr. Aizawa?"
>"He should be here to talk to you in person soon, so I'm sure he'll tell you." Recovery Girl answers. "Going by what Jiro and Yaoyorozu said, it shouldn't be only to scold you."

>"...And what did you do to merit such a thing?" Momma asks you, in that motherly tone of hers that feels like an implied threat.
"Saved his life?.." You answer, trying to pass on a half truth.
>"And..?" She urges you to continue, reminding you that you are a terrible liar.
"...did so by running straight into the villains after being told to leave. Happy?" You spit out the whole thing. "Had some back up, it wasn't completely crazy."
>"You are lucky I'm still overjoyed to see you m- okay." She says, thinking you didn't catch her attempt at a 'mostly'.

"...And Kirishima?" You ask, to keep the conversation away from you and worried about the boy who got the worst of the fight. You could at least walk away!
>"The red head?" Recovery Girl says, walking over to the curtain and sliding it open with her syringe shaped cane. "He's better than he has any right to be."

>"I'm awake!" Kirishima shouts, springing into a seating position.
"Are you okay!?" You ask him, shouting at his same volume.
>"Sort of!" He shouts back, as peppy as ever. "Not broken anymore! Never been this tired though!"
"You get u!-" You manage to shout before being interrupted by a big hand covering your mouth.
>"Hun, please." Your mother says, cringing and pressing her fluffy ears against her head. "Inside voices please."
"Sorry." You reply, before continuing. "You get used to it."
>"I'd rather not be back…" He answers. "No offence Recovery Girl, but if I'm getting injured, I messed up."

...True enough.

"And..." You don't really want to ask this one, because there's only one good answer and it could not be the correct one. "... What about the villains?"

>"All Might sent the black one flying out of campus! And the other two disappeared in the dust. I think Dark Shadow recorded it." Kirishima answers.
"Oh." You eloquently say. "At least Fumikage is okay…"

>"Yeah, Momo, Sero and Uraraka picked him up along with Koda from the ruins." He says, sitting on his bed. He, too, is wearing a gown.

So there are teleporting villains with a bone to pick you and your friends out there.
You know, the kind of person to just come and murder someone in the night?
...Hopefully Shigaraki keeps being loud and dumb.
Something tells you aren't going be dreaming of happy animals for a while.

You tap your horn again…
"What now? What will happen to my horn" You ask the nurse. "Ain't there nothing to be done?"
>"As I said, it should grow back on its own, the heartwood is still strong and the sapwood and bark will keep growing, even if you can't feel it." She replies. "But there's no treatment I can recommend, too many side effects in restoring mutations. And while I can't discard the chance of finding a quirk that would fix it, we healing types are really rare dearie, so you shouldn't count on it."
"Okay..." You say, sighing. "Could you please close the curtain?"
>"I'll do it!" Kirishima says, closing the curtain. And an instant later you the sound of someone jumping into bed, followed by light snoring.

...That guy gives his 110% at everything, even sleeping.

>"Well, Mrs. Walker, she's discharged." Recovery Girl tells your mother. "Usually I'd tell her to leave when she feels like she could, but since you are here…"
"I'll take care of her." Your mom says, stating what's been obvious to you since you can remember.

With a nod, the nurse leaves the room.

Everyone else is okay.
Technically, so are you.
...But you don't feel okay.

So you pull your mother's arms tighter around you, feeling her reciprocate by adjusting her grip and pulling you closer.
You bury your head in her chest and start bawling.
In two days, you'll return to class, strong as ever, a heroine in training with new experiences under her belt.
Right now, you are content to cry your pain and fears out.
It's a sad, short and high pitched sound that comes out of your throat as you cry, far more primal than you'd like and that you'd suppress on every other occasion, but as momma's breathing gets shorter and she joins in, you suddenly decide that, this time, you don't care.
Sad, long, and lowing she cries, a single silabe stretched for minutes at a time.
It's hard to believe that there's someone who cares for you more than you yourself do, but here she is, as she's been for over fifteen years.

Injuries weren't too bad, aside from our beautiful horn, so that's good. Tomura still skedaddled though, but that's to be expected.

A couple more points I’d like to add:
1:Dark Shadow owns a video camera?
2:There are decent odds Kirishima was pretending to sleep and heard us crying. He’ll probably hear us talk to Aizawa too.

After a while, not sure how long, your tears dry out.
That doesn't make your horn better, but it sure as hell felt nice, letting it all out.
So you spend a few minutes doing nothing but bask in the warmth of your mother's love.
No matter why or when, it always calms you down. Probably her heartbeat.

Not long after that, your homeroom teacher arrives at the door, knocking softly on it.

>"I was told you were awake." He says from the other side of the door. "There is something I need to talk to you about, and a few I'd like to."
"Sure…" You reply, sighing. "Let me get dressed."

You aren't a diva, never been one to take over five minutes to be ready, so it's not a long wait until you are in a fresh pair of jeans and a shirt, along with everything that comes underneath.

>"I'm sure I could convince him to wait a couple days, hun." Momma offers, to which you shake your head.
"Least I can do is hear him out." You tell her, walking up to the infirmary's door. "I'm rather surprised he can walk, by the time I go to him, there was already a bloody crater under his head."

When you open the door, you aren't exactly surprised by the sight at that awaits you at the other side.

Since day one you've known your homeroom teacher to be tall, lanky, scary and kind of a lazy bum. A low energy man that looked less like a hero and more like an internet game addict.

Today you've learned that he's… still tall, lanky and scary, but he's the kind of man to rush off alone into a mob of murderous villains, risking life and limb to give you and your classmates, if not safety, peace of mind. Eraserhead climbed up pretty high on your personal hero list.

Thus you give a warm smile at the mummy faced man standing at the other side of the door, wearing his characteristic yellow sleeping bag.

"Howdy sir!" You greet him. "Come in!"
>"...Fine." He says, shimming out of the sleeping bag, entering the room holding what may very well be your natural enemy, the beige manilla folder and looking at you and your mother. "...That explains a few things."
>"Goodness…" Momma says, covering her mouth. "Sir, are you sure you shouldn't be resting in bed?"
"Or getting treatment from Recovery Girl?" You inquire.
>"No time for that right now." He says, looking like he would wave both of you off if not for the state of his arms, seemingly broken and in casts. "Every teacher able to has been helping wrap up today's incident. It's part of what I need to talk to you about."
"Not scolding?" You ask him.
>"Before I get to the unpleasant part..." He says. "Personally, I wanted to thank you for saving me. But as a teacher, I can't overlook the risk you put yourself and your classmates in, nor the fact that you disobeyed the evacuation order from your supervising teacher to do it..."

You sigh and look down to your sharp boots.

>"Look, I'm not done yet." Your homeroom teacher says, crouching and matching his eye level with yours. "You must know that we expect great things of every student in this hero course, and you are anything but the exception. The fact that you avoided combat to focus on rescuing your classmates was noted, especially by N° 13. And as it was an emergency, you technically didn't break any rules."

"...What?" You look up to your teacher's stern black eyes.

>"My arms suffered comminuted fractures and major lacerations." He explains, looking down to each his bandaged arms in turn. "A few closed skull fractures, but no basal or depressed ones. If you hadn't interfered, there's no telling how bad it would have been, nor Hagakure's now tame cold. As a hero program, there can't be anything less logical than issuing punishments for rescuing others."

"Ain't that a relief!" You say, scratching the back of your neck. "And here was I thinking I was in… trouble?"

>"You really need to stop interrupting." Mr. Aizawa says glaring at you for a second. "But as I said, I'm not going to pretend you didn't ignore orders and rules, even if I can't punish you for it. I'm going to keep an eye on you to make sure you don't make it an habit."

"So… I was supposed to leave you to be mauled?" You ask, more confused than angry, but angry nonetheless.

>"I do appreciate that you didn't, but yes." He answers, as if stating the obvious. "Your safety is our job, not the other way around."

She doesn't say anything, but you can hear your mother grunt at that remark.

"Well, that was… Something." You say, walking around the bed and looking for Tin in your costume's pocket. You can also see why you were left in a gown, the shirt is a resin covered mess. "Sorry for sounding rude, but can we leave now?"
>"There's still the unpleasant part that we have to go through." The teacher says, fiddling with his folder.

You take the folder from him and open it.

"I thought that was the bad news." You comment, then look at and drop the file inside. "<Fuck>"
You don't need to read shit, the picture of Matchstick Man on the paper tells you everything you need to know.

>"Bokusa Hibo, awaiting trial for invasion of private property and multiple charges of assault." The teacher says, giving the paper on the floor a soft kick. "Currently on the hospital for a fractured hip, comminuted and displaced."
"YEAH! I'M AWARE! I DID THAT!" You reply, crumpling the envelope to a ball.
>"Who's this?" Momma says, picking up the paper with her tail. "And why would you do that? Do you think your wrestling teacher will approve?"
>"I said it before, unpleasant." The teacher says. "As things are, if he is tried, he's sure to spend the next four to six years in prison, but that'd require for you to release your quirk on him."
"..." You just don't reply.
>>
>"If any reversible effects of a quirk aren't dispelled within three days, it'll default to unlawful arrest and he will be released. It's one of the system's ways to ensure heroes don't dole out punishment." Mr. Aizawa explains. "It's your choice, but keep in mind how the system works and what it expect of heroes."

We just gotta grow him back to his original height, but maybe as revenge we could shrink his dick to baby size while growing him. So unless he has his dick size on record he can't prove that his dick isn't naturally tiny.
>>

I don't think we can do partial shrink/growth like that? It's part of why we don't have to use our quirk on our clothes as well when we go giant. The quirk views it as one and the same.

Fucking Future Japan. Four to six for attempted murder? I'm honestly tempted to just leave him six inches tall and let him walk.

...but that sends the wrong message. Sigh.

That's what he will get just with assault AND breaking and entering. I bet we can easily throw what fireproof furry said about his friends being pyromaniacs and have a psychologist avaluate him. That would make him stay out of the streets for a much longer time.

>>2191128
Maybe that's all the time it'll take to rehabilitate him and reintroduce him to society as a productive member?

You mean fireproof furry? Nah that guy was a ass and would have cutted Kyouka with his fancy blades. I was thinking about asking Aizawa if we can use this thing we heard to pull for psychologist to avaliate if matchstick is a pyromaniac and with so increase his time in a high security prison.
>>
>>2191177
Oh right, I got my villains confused. Thanks.

Well, maybe the guy's not, like, a complete monster? We'll see.

Heroics is about helping those who need it, not about being petty to those who wrong you and even if you don't like it, is the system that keeps this superhuman society working well and good, even if you think he's getting too little time in.

So… you guess you'll do it.
...with your teacher who can stop him with a glance by your side.
Maybe try to see if you can get him some more years in there.

"That, Momma, is the bastard who did this to me." You tell your mother, pointing at your shorter horn with your thumb.

Her warm and calm smile disappears in a flash, as does the paper, being shrunk to seemingly nothing.

>"Well, that makes it easy." She says, throwing an arm over your shoulders. "She ain't getting near that man again."

Well, fuck.

>"Three days." Mr. Aizawa reiterates. "I left my work email on the other side of that envelope."
>"I just said she's not going to do it." Momma insists, notably raising her voice.
>"Now rest and recover, I'll see you this friday at school." The teacher says, walking to the door before turning back. "Then you can tell me what you think."

And with that he walks away, kicking his sleeping bag away with him.

>"The nerve of that man!" Momma says, cracking a tile with a stomp. "I know this course is prone to injuries, and I know I agreed when you told me you wanted it, but you shouldn't go looking for new scars!"
"I'll do it." You tell her.
>"You what?" Momma asks, perplexed.
"I'll return him to normal." You say, kicking up a piece of the tile. "Justice works as it does... And I don't have to like it, but if I'm to be a hero, I'll do my part."
>"...Sometimes I wonder if you like to pull at my heartstrings." She says sighing. "Alright, you do you. But if he tries anything…"
"I already broke his hip, he better not try anything. There's a few other joints I can break." You say jokingly.
>"If he does, try his neck." Momma says, not skipping a beat.
"Geez." If anything, the worst part is not being able to tell if she's joking… "Too harsh?"
>"For hurting you?" She continues. "Nah."

Nope, she ain't joking.
She's always been a 'results first' kind of person, and not one for third chances either.

As Momma checks your backpack, you look around, finding your phone next to your costume.
...The thing still has charge.
>>
You unlock the phone and smile at the screen.
There's an open photo behind the lockscreen, of Jiro, Yaoyorozu and Kaminari smiling tiredly at the camera.
'Last pic! Text me when you wake up, I left mine and Momo's number's in. You already had Kaminari's… For reasons.' A handwritten text on the pic says.

You slide your thumb through the screen and look at the previous one.
This one is of… You. More specifically, is of Iida and Todoroki carrying your snoring body to one of the school's vehicles.
...Your tongue is lollying out. Hopefully, this is the only pic of that moment.

'The teachers showed up a bit too late to help with the big ones.' Kyoka wrote on this one. 'Iida didn't like that. I can't get a read on Todoroki. Does his expresion ever change?'

Well, yeah.
He's… a bit conflicted, that's all.
But you have to admit he doesn't look happy.
A taut neck muscle, a slight downward pull on the edge of his mouth...
Almost angry, really.

You slide again for the previous pic.

It takes you a bit to figure out what the pic is, but after a minute of staring, you get it.
It's Toru laid on a stretcher under a pile of blankets and with a thermometer in her mouth.
'They said she'll be fine, we got to her in time. Sneezes like a kitten, though.'

Well, that's a relief.

>"Ready to go home, hun?" Momma ask, handing you your backpack.
"To the house? Yeah..." You answer. Your home is at the other side of the planet, not here. "I'm starving."
>"Thought so." She says, smiling and ruffling your hair. After a few seconds her smile falters, and you have to look up to notice that she was dragging her thumb over your horn. "...I can only imagine how it feels. I'm sorry hun."
"... Whatever for? You weren't even there." You ask her, slinging your backpack over your shoulder and stepping out of the infirmary. "And… I'll manage… So don't you worry, okay?"

You turn back and give her a thumbs up.

"I'll be fine. No matter what, they can't stop me." You tell her with a smile.
Next time evil attacks, you'll be ready.
Not you, nor any of your friends will suffer like this ever again.
For now though, it's time for dinner, tinkering with your damaged robot and a good night's sleep.
You can see what you'll do with your free day tomorrow.
