I think we're at 25...

***

Before morning arrives, we kiss, caress and unbind everyone before taking them to the bath so we can gently massage their bodies out of any cramps before spoiling them with lots of love but... it seems they're fine.

Really, high stat bodies are amazing... should we call them high specs instead? Anyway, everyone seems to have had fun lastnight.

As we kiss Aritsu while pinning her to the wall and washing her enthusiastically, we go over today's agenda:

*Start the trip trip to Bastion with boss Grumnir and Miiyau
*Visit the office and welcome Yin's sister
*Do research work at the Eopolis lab

Uhmm probably in the reverse order, though.

Well, its the responsible thing to make sure they really aren't sore or cramped.

*nod nod*

They're good girls, so there's a chance that they're just saying so to make us feel better, thus....

We thoroughly rub rub... I mean, massage their poor, soft, curvy bodies until we are sattisfied with their mo- I mean, until we're sure they're really okay.

Well, let's see... we need to take Lyann, Aritsu and Dawn to college, take Miel back home, and then go welcome Yin's sister.

Alright.

Hn. But before we dress them up, let's all have breakfast together, though. We did want their 'toy/pet' play to last from dinner to breakfast, after all.

We also take the chance to introduce them to their ring gags.

Indeed, four beauties down on all four, licking their bowls clean is quite a sight to start the day. Our child is healthy today, too.

*cough*

Well, once everyone is clean and dressed up, we kiss Mako goodbye for now, and take everyone back to Albion. Miel has to return to her hive...

I wonder if we should call it a castle or a town now that they're all villagers instead of monsters...

Anyway, we gently kiss her goodbye as well, then head to college with Aritsu, Athena, Dawn, Lyann, Portia and Zoe.

"Hmm..." - Zoe seems fidgety for some reason
"What is it?"
"Yesterday... hmm... brother gave us a piggyback..."

>Yes, but I don't want to spoil you girls too much, so let's just hold hands now, okay?

D'Aww... alright, if my cute little kitty wants me to, I'm happy to.

"Alright... " - we crouch down so Zoe can climb up
"y-Yes!"

She happily climbs on board, sliding her soft legs over our shoulders and clinging to our head as we stand up.

"Uuuh... I shouldn't have wonr my stockings today... then, with my bare legs..." - she mumbles to herself

Hm? Ah, right. Is she worried her brand new stockings will get dirty? B-big brother properly cleans himself every morning, you know!?

Let's rub our cheeks on her thighs just to mess with her a little bit.

"W-waaa!" - she cries out in surprise

Heh, were you surprised? But big brother's face is clean, you know? There's not going to be any dirt even if we do that, you know?

Well, we don't get to see her turn cherry read from the tip of her ears to the base of her neck, though. Nor can we see how her tail's tip flicks back and forth in happiness.

Ah, come think about it, she has one of the new skirts with a tail hole/poket, right? Its fine, her tail won't push her skirt up, so our little sister's panties are safe even if she's riding on our shoulders. Yup, its safe.

Uh, she tightened her thighs against the sides of our head like a vice. I guess it really bothers her when we rub rub against them, after all.

Is fine, is fine, its just holy water at that age. Let's just use [Clean]

There you go, there you go. Nothing happened.

Well, she's still as red as a cherry, but... yup, we won't say a thing. Let's just not tease her as much as in the future, and it'll make a fun memory in 10 years or so.

*nod*

"Uhmm..." - Zoe is cherry red when we finally let her down in front of the college doors.

Is fine, is fine, we used [Clean] already, you know?

We find Asmund already arguing about politics with Okaba...

Well, its more of a polite conversation with differing ideas, really, since they're talking to each other while working on a blackboard holding multiple formulas and a rough schematic

"Oh, Eldric, good morning." - greets us Asmund as he notices us walk in
"Good morning. Good morning." - we reply to him, and then greet Okaba - "What are you gentlemen working on?"

"Well, we're trying to see if we can somehow wrap a electrical blast in a substance, both sturdy enough to endure a high speed launch, and delicate enough to rupture upon impact." - explains Okaba

They explain to us that Asmund has found that without a medium to direct it, electrical discharges tend to just hit whatever is nearby and able to close a circuit to ground, so they're discussing about how the lightning guns work.

Asmund proposes that, much like how lightning spells probably work, magic itself sheates the electrical discharge, or at least guides it to an objective, therefore a improved magical formula should be able to direct the discharge to where we want it to go.

Okaba feels its more of a matter of conductivity, as a gun has no way to exert intent on a discharge, magical or otherwise, so we should attach the charge to some medium able to carry it to a target.

And of course they both want to hear our opinion.

Also, because we all have too much fun teasing her.

"Electricity flows towards the nearest confuctive body nearby if left alone. Lets try and find a way to wrap it on a magical sheat." - we suggest after thinking about it for a bit.

"Well, in that case we're going to need a sensor, and a trigger." - suggests Okaba
"So you want to build it as a trap?"
"Precisely. It will sense a target before itself, and the user will pull the trigger to cause the discharge. It just replaces a immobile, ffully automated trap by a mobile one."
"Why, though? We could set them up on automata or low tier undead..." - Asmund adds after a few moments

Sorry guys i went downtown in the morning and got back home EXHAUSTED, I even had my cane (yes, im blind enough to need a cane now) kicked away from me by a landwhale covered in presents, and since noone was kind enough to have it back to me, i had to crawl around under the midday sun (its summer here, in the world's dryest desert) until someone was "kind enough" to kick it to me.

It was humulliating and really tiring. Was totally alone in a huge crowd. Got tired, slightly burnt, humilliated, and felt so dissapointed in my fellow man... anyway, I got home, got a shower, and napped and just got up. So, sorry for starting so late.

***

"What do you mean mass production?"

We explain production lines to our friends. About having workers grow skilled in crafting the one item at the time and having someone do just the assembly and so on.

"We can switch around who makes what if we want them to grow used to crafting every part after a while."
"Uhmm... wait, if we get someone skilled in making the one piece, that person can just use [Craft] to make that piece perfectly after a while. What stops those workers from using that system to mass produce weapons in the future?" - asks Asmund
"It would lead to mass production of all sorts of items."
"Im not sure if thats a good thing." - says Okaba - "I mean, it finishes off high quality artisans, doesn't it?"

>No, geniuses will always stand out, but rather than wasting time with manual labor, they can just create new stuff while workers craft 'normal' things

"Fumu. It is as you say. We believe it would be helpful to the people if ourautomata workers could be 'mass produced' and sent to toll in the fields." - contributes Okaba after a moment
"Aren't you afraid it will take away the livelihood of your precious farmers?" - teases Asmund from the side
"Are your country's farmers already using undead as farming tools?"
"Ah. Indeed that is the case. It is traditional for the family of the deceased to have temples animate the bodies of their ancestors once the soul has been safely sent away unto the afterlife. We are a pragmatic people."
"We will not call such a practice 'pragmatic'." - replies Okaba with an expression of disgust
"Call it anything you want to. My people has a much higher standard of living than yours do, anyway."
"...We cannot agree to using our ancestor's bodies as tools."
"We could argue about this all day again. Instead, lets think about the uses of mass production within our realms."

Well, it seems they at least agreed to that much, though we suspect we will see both automata and undead in the protectorate's armies for years to come, still.

Spending half the morning working with our friends, we find a way to have 'magical traps' target specific objects before them under coercion by an operator, which allows the lightning blast to be guided by magic to its target.

Its a cheap and simple concept, though its actual refinement is rather complicated.

Well, since we're in town, let's go check on our cute harpies and see how they're doing.

We have a light brunch with our friends, then leave them arguing about power consumption-to-output and other technical details as we go visit the shipping branch of our company.

Specifically, we go see our ticket booth girls.

Going into the building, we find that there's 5 working booths for tickets and package reception, where our harpies are tending each to a short line of customers.

Hmm... where's the rest? We were under the impression that they were all working together...

We go around through a 'staff only' door, and find the rest of our cute harpies sitting in a lounge room together with a few other employees.

They're having tea and pastry, doesn't that looks nice? We sent them to work precisely so they would develop their interpersonal abilities and mentally grow towards 'mythic', which is the highest mental evolution monsters can go through.

Eh... they look just like beautiful femal secretaries, don't they? And it looks like mom taught them to drink their tea in an elegant and girlish manner... that can't have been easy to do. Thank you mom.

Those guys... yeah they're all guys. They aren't flirting with our cute harpies, are they? I mean, they should just appear as monsters to them, right? But, our family doesn't seems to mind anymore, so I guess getting used to them works like that after all.

Once we introduce ourselves, it turns out that they're indeed coworkers, and they were taking a break together during the low-public hours of lunch time.

As we talk with them for a while, they seem nice enough until someone asks us to sell him Nikita, one of our harpies...

Well, I understand that she's technically a pet so... but she's not a slave, right? I'm not being a hypocrite! We've never thought of them as anything but our cute girls.

Well, its classical for teens having theit gitdt job to blow their paycheck in stupid things, I guess...

Its probably alright. Probably.

The girls flock to us, each wanting to squeeze between the others so she can be the one closest to us. There's no way to convince them otherwise until we've smooched and headpatted them to their satisfaction, after which they ask us to go eat lunch with them to their favorite place.

They have a favorite place now? It isn't home? That feels kind of lonely, but I guess they're growing up.

Speaking of which, 3 of them and 3 of the ones outside at the counter had a star next to their names, which means they're ready to evolve so let's check their menus...

Sure enough, they're ready to evolve to [Holy Beast]. which means they'll have a standard grown up's intelligence. We can let them evolve right away, or hold them back so it will be cheaper (exp wise) for them to evolve to [Mythical Beast], which would be quite stronger.

Hm. Alright then...

We check on the girls at the counter and call out the ones that are ready to evolve, sending the remaining girls to replace them at the counter.

With this, they will have all reached the [Holy] beast rank.

"Master was here. Why didn't you call for us?"
"Uuuh... I want headpats too..."
"Master, master..."

The ones that were at the counter swarm us and cutely complain about us not giving them enough attention.

Alright, alright, let's give them smooches and headpats, then.

"there, there, you're all good girls." - we gently rub their heads and give them some candies until they calm down.

They're standing around, talking about who got the most headpats and the most candies on top of their office talk. They're really growing.

Alright then...

[The selected pets will evolve, are you sure? Y/N]

We confirm the system message, and the girls all froze for a moment, their bodies glowing golden for just a moment before they grow (just a inch or so, they're still extra petite after all) and evolve.

Well, their mental stats have grown the most, of course, but they seem rather confused as they sit on the floor or stand looking at themselves and us.

"Uhmm... Master, did I grow?" - Nikita does indeed look taller, but her physical changes were rather small, except for her face.

Yes, she looks altogether more feminine now, but her expression looks... I guess more intelligent would be the obvious way to describe it?

"Master...?" - she walks over to us, but rather than clinging up to us as usual, she just reaches to place her hand against our chest while holding the other to her own
"Yes, you're a big girl now..." - we caress her face, and she leans into our hand as she smiles

"Eeeeh? I want Master to look at me like that...!"

We're soon swarmed again by the flock, though there's something slightly different now.

Ah, I get it, its that nice scent of a girl in the flower of her youth, isn't it?

Well, I...

Or does Social XP depend on the depth of social contact, not just the number?

In any case, I want to make sure that they come home to us, wherever that is.

>Or does Social XP depend on the depth of social contact, not just the number?

More than social contact, i'd say its mental stimulation. If it was just about how many ppl they meet, we would have let them as ticket sellers. They met about a thousand ppl a day that way after all.

Now that theyre going to work with important and complicated work, it should boost their speed a fair bit

I would think Alquira, because we don't have a trusted secretary in Alquira like we do in Mantequira with Yin.

Tiel should also be given an education and socialized so she can Rank Up.
We should also keep our Pets out more to Rank them up.

Actually come think about it, maybe we should have them all work with Yin for a couple of weeks at the very least, so she can train them first?

Also, just thought about it, but should Yang, Yin's sister, also be a black haired (fur?) fox, or a more 'normal' golden fox? And if we give her dark hair (fur?), should she be really similar to her sister with some minor differences (since she's younger) or go for the classical 'they're so similar!' approach?

Well, there's no reason not to let our flock of cute cute secretary girls take us out to eat.

And... they take us to the fresh sea food place we took them a few weeks ago. Since everyone greets them with a smile, it looks like they're regulars now.

"Oh, you're here with such a dashing young man today. Is heeveryone's boyfriend?" - the old lady that walks up to take our orders seems quite comfortable with 10 monsters walking into her restaurant and just sitting at the counter all at once, doesn't she?
