"Here's your recepit." Jotaro rips the textbook page he was writing down and lets it fly close to where Steely Dan's unconscious body is, before departing to find the group's latter half.

Considering where Kakyoin's Emerald Splash was, you figure it'll be a while before finding Joseph and the others, but since the jeep's closer to your location than their, chances are you'll probably have to go back here anyways.

>Go with Jotaro.

>Approach Dan and look for your belongings.

>Wait close to the jeep.

i'm happy that you're doing more with the other crusaders other then their allotted 2-3 fights

I don't think I've done anything that different from the canon story if you don't count the times when they're resting. It's kinda hard to work with some of them desu.
>>

IIRC we haven't fought N'Doul yet but we've gotten iggy so that's a major deviation from the normal plot

You know, he's a complete fuckin dickhole...but we should probably still look for a flesh bud on him anyways. It's standard procedure, after all, right?

Approaching Dan, you look for your belongings under the pile of rubble he's at while Jotaro walks away from the fighter. Since Iggy's taking a nap close to where you are, you doubt he'll be following the boy either.

Placing a hand on his pockets, you manage to find both yours and Jotaro's wallets, along with his watch.

He did say Dio paid him in advance, right? Could it be that he still has some money left in him?

You keep searching the man while Jotaro hasnt arrived yet. Feeling a weird volume on his chest, you place a hand on his shirt's pocket to find a small, golden key. Neat, but where would you use this?

Looking over to the destroyed food stand, you see a locked suitcase over the counter. Adding 2 and 2 together, you try to open it up with the key you just found, managing to find Dan's secret stash.

Inside the suitcase, you find dozens of 100 dollar bills piled up neatly inside. Taking a few minutes to count them up, you estimate that the entire amount of money is close to a hundred thousand.

Where does Dio find all of this money? Does he just casually pays everyone in advance like that?

>Take the suitcase. It's not like he'll be using it anytime soon.

>Maybe Mr. Joestar should have a look at this...

>Don't take the money. It's not yours.

There may be a way to track these bills. While DIO probably has no trouble convincing wealthy people to work with him, breaking up his source of income could make him slip up out of annoyance or track down informants that he's using.
>>

Dio's been draining the shit out of our funds with disaster after disaster. It's only fair game that we get some of that funding back. Honestly, I feel bad for how much of the Foundation's resources we've been using up - they only have so much, in the end.
>>
>>2209378
Speaking of the SPW I wonder if they run mostly off of the oil company or get money through research now

100.000 dollars, huh? Maybe Mr. Joestar should take a look at this... You personally don't hae a reason to want all that money, so that'll surely help out with the funds. Who knows how much he's already spent while travelling the Middle East with 5 people along with him?

Grabbing the suitcase, you approach the jeep and sit down to wait for your comrades.

10 minutes later, you see the other crusaders approaching the vehicle.

"Are you sure about that, Mr. Joestar? A rest on the hotel would be nice..." You hear Polnareff ask for Joseph to reconsiderate something in their conversation.

"We'll still have an entire day to rest on the boat. No point in standing still if we can be on the move." Joseph explains, wanting to arrive in Egypt as soon as possible.

"Are you alright, Mr. Joestar?" You worry about the senior's condition considering he just had a stand invade his brain.

"Eh, I've seen better days." Joseph complains. "Kakyoin and Polnareff had to shrink their stands to fight against Lovers, so a messy fight inside my brain made me a bit woozy, but that's hopefully just temporary. I ain't dying 5 days away from my birthday, that's for sure!"

"How old are you, Old man?" Jotaro asks his grandfather.

"I'm turning 69 this week." Joseph says to everyone's surprise.

"Whaaat?" Polnareff replies in shock. "I thought you were 53 or something! Damn, I wanna have a body like yours when I'm your age!"

"Indeed, it's amazing to see what your Hamon can do." Kakyoin ponders.

Slowing aging seems to be an great side effect from the technique. If Joseph can look around 15 years younger while barely using the ability, you wonder what a Hamon master would be look like if they trained regularly.

"Well, consider this your birthday gift, look what I've found!" You hand over the suitcase you looted from Dan.

"You found Dan's money?" Jotaro asks after seeing Joseph open the suitcase.

"Very nice!" He gives you a thumbs up,. "That should be more than enough to help us travel to Egypt and then some. Tell you what, you can have the rest of this cash when this is over."

After everyone gets inside the jeep, you're informed that the Foundation has prepared a boat for all of you to embark on. It should take about a day to reach Oman, so it could be a good time to rest too.

"Here." Jotaro hands you a handkerchief, reminding yourself that you're still dirtied up by sewage water. "They have showers back on the boat, so you won't have to worry about being dirty."

>Thanks.

"Thanks." You take the handkerchief and clean your face while thanking Jotaro. "How long do you think it'll take us to reach Egypt?"

"I'd give it a week at most." He informs. "After Oman, we only have to get to Saudi Arabia and cross the Red Sea. Reaching Cairo by foot and looking for Dio is another story, though..."

"You're probably right... Oh, before I forget! Here you go." You pull out your wallet and hand him a 10 dollar note.

"What's the money for?" He asks in confusion.

"I take it tasting sewage for a kiss would be pretty rough, so I figured you'd like something in return."

"Good grief..." Jotaro holds out a chuckle. "Always thinking of a joke, arent you?"

...

After driving to the beach, you patiently wait for the ship to arrive at dusk.

"Heeeey!" A familiar voice greets the group.

It's Tempest, now wearing a Speedwagon Foundation uniform, along with a giant pair of glasses on her face.

"What's up?" Polnareff is the first to remember who she is.

"How did it go with the Foundation, Tempest?" You ask the girl about her employment.

"Pretty good, actually." The four eyed girl responds. "They're paying me and Billy pretty well, so I think we can stick around for whatever they need!"

"For now, they're mostly scouting out for information and keep give us a heads up for any stand users on the countries we're going, but I'm considering using them to find other stand users around the world after Dio dies." Joseph explains. "We never had stand users working them before, so learning about other stands will be useful, maybe they might even recruit even more stand users while they're at it."

"Speaking of Billy, where is he?" You ask Tempest about her boyfriend.

"He's getting a submarine for you to cross the Red Sea with some other workers." She informs.

"A submarine? We've yet to travel on one during this journey." Jotaro seems particularly intrigued by this statement.

"I hope he's doing alright..." Tempest worriedly thinks out loud about Billy.

...

After taking a shower and having dinner, you figure you still have plenty of time to talk with someone on the boat before you go to bed. You do have a lot of options, but you're not sure who you should talk to first...

Approaching the pink hairred boy, you see Kakyoin eating from a small box of cherries, he gives the last one a good lick before noticing your presence and putting it back on the box.

"Hey there Hitomi." He greets you. "Joseph went to bed early due to him not feeling that well from today's fight."

"He probably didnt want anyone to worry about how he is..." You try to justify him not sayig anything about it other than feeling a bit woozy.

"I can't blame him for feeling a bit burnt out considering he's the one in charge of all this..." He eats the last cherry from the box "Anyways, is there something on your mind?"

"Awww, I wanted a cherry..." You complain to Kakyoin after seeing him eating the last one.

"Sorry, Sorry!" he replies. "Cherries are my favourite food, so when I get the hands on them, I can't help but eat them all."

"Alright then..." You brush it off. "But what exactly happened when you were fighting Dan for him to be so tired?"

"Well, Lovers managed to create some copies of his own stand to confuse us while he dug away at Joseph's brain and activated the flesh bud. I managed to find the real one and expel him from Joseph's body, but I managed to track him down with Hierophant Green's uncoiling ability." He explains.

"Whoa!" You gasp after hearing what happened. "But what about the flesh bud?"

"He managed to kill it with a good Overdrive. He's trying to heal himself with Hamon ever since, but he said it'll take a while for him to fully recover since he's out of touch."

After hearing some more about the his condition, you decide to change the subject to something more casual.

"Hey, Jotaro told me you wanted to be a programmer, is that true?"

"Yeah, ever since I started playing video games I've been fascinated by technology as a whole." He passionetly explains himself. "I'm eager to see what we'll be able to do with computers with the sucess of the Commodore Amiga series. And I wanna be part of that too. I even have a few concepts for game ideas once I start college."

"What would your game be like?" You're curious to listen to what he has to say, given his knowledge on the industry.

"Well, currently the market's been trying to sell their products using mascots to attract the kids, especially in the west" He starts off his explanation. "Mario, Megaman, The Ninja Turtles, you name it. And now that this trend's starting to take off in the gaming market, I feel like it'd be nice if we had a parody of those types of mascots."

"A parody?"

"Yeah, I wanna hit that sweet spot where I can make fun and satirize a normal video game while being entertaining without being too derivative." Kakyoin adds." What I had in mind was making a platformer about an earthworm traveling around planets to find her girlfriend, Princess Whatshername."

You laugh at the female worm's particular name, congratulating him on being self aware of his own story.

"Jotaro even drew some concept art for me using Star Platinum!" He searches for his notebook to show you a drawing of an earthworm wearing a space suit while firing a gun.

"He managed to draw exactly what I was thinking using his stand's precision. Isnt he cool? I named him Jim." He excitedly points at the drawing of Earthworm Jim, awaiting for your response.

"Go for it, I'd but it if I had the chance." You encourage your friend on his idea despite not knowing that much about video games.

"Really? Thanks!" He's glad to hear that he has your support. "I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do when I start working."

"But do you have any other ideas in the future? You need a plan b in case it doesnt take off, you can't put all your eggs in one basket." You advise him.

"Well, I could always apply for a company, but I personally think that would limit my liberty on developing games." He says. "While I am interested in making fun games, I also wanna see how far the media can go from a story telling perspective. Of course there's always role-playing games, but since they mostly play the same, it'd be hard to think of a way to innovate the genre without alienating newcomers..."

You scratch your head while you try to follow up on his monologue about video games, but after noticing that he was becoming lost in his own thoughts, he clears his throat and puts his hands inside his pants' pockets.

"Well, as you can see it's not that easy to make a game, especially on my own. You have to think of a lot of variable even before forming a team to create the product..." He informs, trying to get back on topic. "But your observation will probably help out a lot, so thanks. Who knows? Maybe I'll even make a game about stands, too." He laughs it off, considering on what game to make next after he puts his name out on the market.

"No problem!" You give Kakyoin a thumbs up.

Saying goodbye to Kakyoin, you start to think about your own job career, specifically what you can do to start learning about it right now, just like Kakyoin is doing.

Looking around the boat, you see a crew member that had "Lifeguard" written on his uniform. After you explained your interests in biology and medicine, the lifeguard gives you a few basic lessons about medicine along with showing everything inside a first aid kid and explaining what you're able to do with each item, from tweezers to antiseptics, and while you didnt manage to get everything down 100%, you were definetly interested on what he had to say.

Naturally, you came out of that experience thinking on how you could apply that knowledge using your stand and your Hamon techniques, which is something you could test out in the future, you did wrote down what you considered important, so you won't be having a problem remembering it.

Feeling tired, you decide to rest for the day. Hopefully you'll already be in Oman by the time you wake up.

...

September 23rd, 1988.

You wake up to the sound of a dog loudly barking at your ear. Not exactly the best reception you could recieve from him.

Looking up to the nearby clock, you see it's already 7 AM, the time where usually everyone's having breakfast, to which Iggy's happily chewing at.

>Thanks, I guess...

>Shoo him away.

>No need to be so loud!

>Give him some coffee gum.

"Gee, thanks Iggy..." You gently caress your ears after almost going deaf. "Could you at least try to not be as loud next time?"s

Iggy gives you a wince like you were asking too much for him and simply walks off. What a prideful dog...

Brushing him aside, you get out of your bed and focus your breathing to get a few Hamon charges. After that, you do a few dozen sit ups and squats to start off the day in a good mood. Nothing too rough, but hard enough for you to feel some straining.

Moving over to the kitchen, you see the gang calmly having their meal. Well, most of them.

Joseph seems to be having a pleasant chat with Tempest, while Polnareff and Kakyoin argue something about Iggy eating their food, to which the dog doesnt seem to care about in the slightest.

Jotaro seems to be finishing up his meal with a pretty neutral look on his face.

After grabbing your plate and preparing your meal, you decide to sit next to...

>Jotaro.

Approaching Joseph and Tempest, they both greet you while you eat away at your food.

"Are you sure you're feeling well, My Joestar?" The four eyed girl worries herself about her boss' health.

"I've been worse, don't worry!" The old man replies with a laugh. "I just needed a good night's sleep, that's all!"

"Alright then, feel free to ask if you need anything" She points out before drinking some orange juice.

This. It's the best method.

Actually...now that I think about it...
What if we had Karma use the Hamon instead of us? Her precision is a bit above human-level. Plus, she could apply it directly where it's needed. In fact, if we wanted to take an extra careful approach, we could shrink her and have her do it bit by bit, just so we don't risk putting TOO MUCH hamon in such a sensitive area.

"I could always help out with my Hamon if you want, Mr Joestar." You raise your hand to show you're willing to help out the old man in need.

"Sure." He clears his throat. "You're getting better everyday with that Hamon of yours, I don't see why not."

After finishing your breakfast, you walk behind Joseph and try to breathe the pain out of him with your Hamon, which turns out to have a positive effect on him.

"Oh, good! This feels a lot better now." He stretches his arms to get a feeling on how well he is after the healing session. "I don't know about my brain, but my body is at peak performance after thiat, thanks a lot!"

"I can help with that, too!" You summon Karma to get a feel inside his head, but just like last time, you only manage to phase through his skull, and since you can't really shrink your stand like Pol and Kak did, it's better to leave that for another time.

"I always get creeped out when you do that..." Joseph admits, seeing you hand get out of his brain. "

I'm almost positive he will.

On the one hand, it'd be so much better than...seeing what he becomes later on, where he starts losing his mind. It'd be a really powerful moment, a potent one that would be great for the story.

"I know it's creepy, but think about how useful this will be when i become the world's best doctor!" You beam proudly at your statement, confident on your own improvement.

"World's best doctor, huh? I'll give you a few years, but you better live up to my expectations." Joseph jokes at your statement.

Speaking about doctors...

"Any news on Avdol?" You ask Joseph about your friend back in India, worried if he's still making a good recovery.

"He just woke up yesterday." The old man is happy to tell you. "The chef said he'd make the best breakfast we've ever had to celebrate. I already told everyone else about it, too."

Normally you would make a joke about the food not feeling that good, but you can't contain your excitement after hearing Avdol finally woke up.

"That's great, Mr. Joestar!"

"I know. It'll take another week for him to recover, but he plans on joining us again on Egypt, so hopefully we'll be already be there when he's all good."

"What about Mrs. Holly?" You smile to your senior, but he doesn't smile back.

"Holly's only gotten worse after I last called her..." He sighs "She can still talk just fine, but the doctors said she keeps losing her balance when trying to walk, so the stand's only getting worse..."

"I'm sorry to hear that, Mr. Joestar..." You apologize, feeling like you've ruined the mood.

"It's alright. We still have until the end of October until we reach Cairo." He tries to pretend he's fine with that, with his tone clearly implying the opposite. "I guess it's just a father thing, it's hard to think rationally when your entire family is involved in this, you know?"

"Hey,we still have plenty of time, no need to feel pressured yet." You try to ease his worries.

"I know, I know. It's just something that's always at the back of my head..." He lowers his face to stare at the floor.

Maybe a more assertive approach would help him out...

"Mr. Joestar, All of us here have your back here. You can trust us to deal with Dio with time to spare! Just promise you won't run off and do anything rash during the home stretch, okay? We've still got to play it safe if we're all going to make it out of this."

"Whoa, I wouldn't do that!" He raises his face, with his confident grin returning while Polnareff exits the kitchen. "Who do you take me for, Polnareff?"

"Hey! I take offense to that!" Polnareff raises his voice, only for the laughter of everyone still on their tables to respond him.

"Oh man, I really needed that one..." Joseph stops laughing and finishes his food. "Your daughter would be in great hands if you were on my place Hitomi!"

"Of course she would!" You say, picking up the mood. "She'd be like a mini me, how would she be in bad hands?"

"Alright, alright. Thanks for the laughter." He stands up from his seat. "Be ready to leave, ok? We'll be arriving in Oman anytime now!" He warns you after leaving.

"Mr. Joestar, wait!" Tempest, who was the first to leave after she finished her meal, rushes to the exit, likely wanting to ask something about the Foundation.

"Did you hear the news?" You ask Jotaro about Avdol and his mother.

"Yup. Good to know Avdol's making a good recovery" he adjust his hat.

You feel like asking, 'what about Holly?' but judging by the look he's giving you, he probably doesn't want to talk about it.

Just like last time, you sit close to Jotaro and watch the sea along with him. This time however, you notice that his body language isn't as defensive as when you were back in the boat to Singapore. He lets you stand a lot more closer to him, only backing away when he has to blow out the smoke.

You're already used to Jotaro's silent way of communicating, but you feel really satisfied to know he's more comfortable around you, even when he's in a bad mood.

"Hey, wanna go fishing?" You say, taking a look at the fish jumping out of the water.

"You think they have fishing rods here?" He asks, surprised by your suggestion.

"Give me a minute..." You walk off to ask the crew members, arriving with two rods and a fish filled with anchovies.

"Here you go!" You hand him a rod.

"I don't wanna hurt the fish, though..." Jotaro examines the fishing rod, worrying about the fish.

"We won't eat him, you big baby! It's just for fun." You tease him like you usually do when he gets too serious. "We can even use your stands to make it more interesting."

"Fine then. The loser get's attacked by the next enemy stand." He returns your teasing after putting the fish bait on the hook.

"Deal!" You both summon your stands, ready to get as many fish as you can.

Jotaro's faster than light eyesight will be hard to beat, especially now that you woke up his competitive side...

"And...Begin!" You both place your stands underwater close to the hook, trying to see if any nearby fish.

"It's a bit hard to see underwater..." You squint your eyes, trying to look something other than salt and bubbles.

"Star Finger!" Star Platinum extends his fingers to the shoal of fish approaching the boat, catching one by one with his stand and placing them inside the bait bucket.

"Are you serious?" You get flustered over how quick he's filling his bucket, you have to do something if you intend on winning this, fast!

"Karma!" You turn Karma Chameleon into water with ease since she was off the boat, perfectly camouflaging her in the ocean.

The fishes are approaching again, maybe you can use Karma's current state to pull them up and catch them all by surprise...

SPLASH!

As soon as they come close to your stand, you pull her back with all the speed you can muster up, making dozens of fish fly down towards the deck, knocking over both you and Jotaro.

"That didn't count. You were cheating!" Jotaro complains after getting himself up.

"Oh, don't tell me you weren't cheating with that Star Finger of yours!" You respond after your classmate helps you stand up.

"Good grief... Now my cigs are all soaked up..." Jotaro checks his soaked up cigarette pack after taking it out of his jacket.

"I'll buy you another one when we get to Oman." You smile to him, managing to see the coast in the distance. "Why don't we help these fishies get back on the water in the meantime?"

Seeing you grab the fish with Karma's two rows of arms, Jotaro ultimately complies; gracefully admitting defeat and helping you save the fish.

Iggy's finally respecting the group thanks to Hitomi, but that won't stop him from messing around with everyone.
Avdol is very thankful to Hitomi after hearing her saved his life, he can't wait to meet her again and see how well she's doing.

Jotaro hates to admit it but he's honestly adoring her company, even though she tease him a lot. Now that he sees Hitomi as her equal and appreaciates the way she always helps everyone with their problems, he's sensing a weird, positive feeling towards her, but he can't put it in words yet.

Kakyoin, Polnareff and Joseph still have the same opinion on you.

Well, Holly introduced you as "Jotaro's girlfriend". So he isnt surprised you two are having some time alone with eachother, even after Jotaro explained the two weren't together. Polnareff and occasionally teases him about Hitomi while Kakyoin gives him advice on how to act around Hitomi.

September 24th, 1988.

After arriving in Oman, Joseph and Polnareff went back driving around the barren wastelands called deserts until reaching the United Arab Emirates, a fancy country full of expensive looking buildings and hotels, which Joseph decided to avoid since most of the crusaders agreed on sleeping on the car. Only this time around, Joseph bought a fancy black car to ride with instead of the jeep the group has been previously using.

"Why didn't you buy an off road vehicle, Mr. Joestar?" Polnareff asks, mantaining his eyes on the road.

"You'll find out soon enough." He says, taking a look at his map. "I took the boat ride since I wanted to avoid the politically unstable route from Iran to Iraq, but taking the route to Saudi Arabia will be a bit tricky too."

"What do you mean by that?" Jotaro asks, inching forward to take a look at the map his grandfather is currently holding.

"Now that we're past Abu Dhabi, there's a small villaged named Yarpline 100 kilometers from here, the road is heavily curved due to all the desert mountains." He circles some parts of the map. "It would take a few days to reach by car, but we cant cut that to a day if we buy a Cessna plane to cross Saudi Arabia."

"You know how to ride a plane, Mr. Joestar?" Polnareff is surprised to hear.

"Well, up to know I've been worried that enemy stand users would cause any plane we rode to crash, putting innocent lives at risk" He admits. "But if I pilot a private plane like a Cessna, it wouldn't be a problem."

"I don't really want to board a Cessna with a man who's been through 3 plane crashes." Jotaro makes a snarky comment, which makes Joseph wince at him in silence.

"Knowing how to fly a plane sounds cool, but not the part about 3 plane crashes..." You side with Jotaro. "How did that happen?"

"Well, one was when my uncle Speedwagon's plane was hijacked when I was a kid,t he second one was when I threw Kars in as volcano when he became the Ultimate Life Form, and you were with me on the last one, so no need to explain how that happened." Joseph reminds him of the Gray Fly event, making his plane crashes sound as casual as going to the grocery store.

"Still, I don't think you should fly in a plane after getting a head injury, Mr. Joestar." You worry about his health.

"Don't worry, thanks to this car, we're going to have an extra day to rest!" He points out, confusing the other group members.

"What does that have to do with the fancy car, though?" You ask, only for Joseph to park his car next to a man selling camels.

"Hey, sir! How much do you charge for 5 camels?" He asks after getting out of the car, prompting the other crusaders to do the same.

"It won't be cheap, mister." The stingy seller warns him.

"Would it be ok if we traded those for my car, then?" Joseph offers, making everyone's jaw drop in response.

"Mr Joestar! You just bought that car!" Polnareff protests to his crazy offer.

"That's exactly why I bought it! A car like this wouldnt help us get through the desert, but since I can't write a check to the guy, besides, these guys don't trust cash here, so trading is a lot more effective." He confidently says, while everyone is still dumbfounded by his decision.

"Still, camels? How will Iggy even go with us?" You point at the Boston Terrier taking a look at the nearby camels.

"Well, you could always carry him with you, can't you? No reason to buy another camel just for him." Joseph says, approaching the camel seller to take a look at his new traveling vehicle. "So, are you guys ready to ride these guys?"

"Alright then, up and over!" You hop in the air, trying to grab ahold of the camel's hump, despite the fact that he is clearly twice your size.

"Pfft-- You need a hand, Hitomi?" Joseph offers help after a few unsucessful attempts, but his condescending chuckles ultimately force you to refuse his help.

"Please, I got rid of a stand user after getting out of the shower, this is nothing!" you summon Karma Chameleon to leap you up higher into the air.

"Whoa!" You shout, noticing you clearly overshotted your stand force as your stand flings you 5 meters up in the air.

Wait, you're still close to the camel, maybe if you aim at him in the right angle you can straddle him with no problem.

Unfortunately, the camel walks a few steps forward just before you managed to land on him, sending you faceplanting you into the sand like an ostrich hiding it's head in the sand.

With your head neck deep in the sand, you hear Iggy's muffled barking as he approaches you to try and get a taste of your hair, only for the came to blow his nose on both of you.

Joseph gets into a laughing fit while the other 3 crusaders just shamefully stare at you two.

"Mr. Joestar, you do know how to ride a camel, right?" Kakyoin doubts Joseph's knowledge.

"Of course, I've seen Lawrence of Arabia three times! Although I slep through a few parts of the movie since it was a bit long..." He boasts, comfirming that he only got these camels because he thought it would look cool.

"What? You've never actually ridden one?" Polnareff angrily points at the camels.

"Hey, no need to panic. When dealing with animals, it's important to understand how they feel." Joseph says, pulling an apple from his traveling bag and approaching one of the camels. "Here, doesnt this apple look delicious, little guy?"

Lowering the food close to the ground, the camel finally sits down and lets Joseph ride him.

"Whoa! I did it!" He says, to the surprise of everyone. "It's really high up! Cmon, your turn, Jotaro."

The crusaders start to grab the fruits from their respective bags to ride their camels.

"I thought Jotaro would be the one with bad luck against stand users after he lost the fishing bet, not me!" You mutter under your breath after grabbing a banana from the bag.

"All right. Now I'll tell you what to be careful when riding on camels." Joseph starts to explain. "They don't walk like horses. The front and back leg from the same side move forward together, so they tend to sway a lot..."

While Joseph is explaining the do's and dont's, you notice that the banana you've been carrying is suddenly missing. Where did it go?

Looking up to the camel behind you, you see him already gulping down the fruit before you could even offer it to him.

"Hey! You're not supposed to eat that yet!" You shout at him while everyone else is already getting up on their camels.

"I think there's one last fruit inside my backpack." Joseph says, prompting you to search inside it, only to find an eggplant.

"An eggplant? Why would you be carrying that around? It's not even a fruit!" You ask Joseph.

"Well, technically..." Kakyoin starts a lecture, only to be cut off when you realize the camel also snuck behind you to eat the eggplant.

"Argh! You little-- OW!" You point your hand at him, only for him to bit your finger too.

"Not fair..." You kneel on the ground and weep while the camel licks your salty tears.

"Good fucking grief..." You hear Jotaro say, but before you managed to respond back at him, you see that you're already riding the camel.

"How did she get there?" Joseph is confused after unknowingly witness Jotaro stopping time for such a simple task

"There we go! Congratulations, Hitomi! Aren't you a great rider? You could be a jockey one day with that attitude." Jotaro's sarcastically comments, pretending to not have helped you out on that.

"Alright then. Everone! Onward to the Northwest!" Joseph points, only for all the camels to walk to another direction. "Hey! Hey! Hey!"

After what feels like an eternity, you manage to control the camel properly. After that, Joseph bought a few water bottles to restock on supplies so you could finally start your journey through Saudi Arabia.

"Come on Iggy! Jump!" You encourage the small dog to jump after you offer him a hand, but he just shrugs you off and uses the nearby sand to escalate himself to the camel's hump.

It seems no one but you had a hard time with those camels.

After a few hours walking through the desert, Kakyoin makes a particular comment that worries the group for the time being.

"Something's wrong. I can't shake the feeling that someone's watching us..."

"You worry too much, Kakyoin." Polnareff points at his camel's behind. "We're using palm leaves to cover our tracks, remember? And we can see a great distance around this desert, we would know if someone was around here."

"Actually, I can't help but feel that way as well." Jotaro voices his worries after summoning Star Platinum to scout the place. "I can't quite put my finger on it, but something's definetly weird."

"I'm more worried about this heat, though." You complain while wiping the sweat from your forehead. "What's the temperature, Pol?"

"50 Celsius." He checks the temperature.

speaking of water, we could ask iggy to copress some sand in a block and convert that to more water, right? Also, we should ask the guys to give us a bottle of water to keep on us at all times.
>>
>>2212271
>Ask if Iggy is smelling anyone.
With temperature starting to become a problem, we could do with being proactive about our water supply to make sure nobody dehydrates.
We could turn KC's hand into water, and convert sand into water to refill canteens.
We could probably also stand to convert decent amount of sand on the ground into a small little pond for the Camels and Iggy to drink from.
>>
>>2212280
And here I was hoping for some ice...
Well, still could try later. I had that idea with hamon to draw heat away from things earlier, might be able to pull it off...

Taking a pair of binoculars from Jotaro, you scout the dunes far away into the desert, but nothing particularly interesting sticks out.

"Iggy!" You signal for him to check if he's smelling something. He woofs over to where the sun is, but you don't see anyone there.

"Is he smelling someone from far away?" Kakyoin can't really figure out what he's trying to say.

"Maybe it's just the heat tiring us out..." You summon Karma Chameleon to grab a water battle to cool you off.

"She's right, this temperature is no joke." Kakyoin wipes his brow, with Karma turning her hand into water to help him out as well.

"Let's get as far as we can until the sun goes down, then. We'll stop and put up our tents after we're done" Joseph tells the group. "It's too risky to travel at night."

"But it's 50 degrees Celsius!" Polnareff empties his water bottle.

"I know, but it's always hottest around this time of the day--" He interrupts himself after double checking the time. "Jotaro, what does your watch say?"

"Ten after eight." Jotaro raises an eyebrow after his watch implied it was already night. "Hey, old man! The hell's going on here?"

"I don't get it... It's 8 PM, why isnt the sun going down?" Joseph asks after staring at the sun rising up.

"Woof! Woof" Most likely saying "I told you so!" Iggy conjures up a sand cave around the entire group, comfirming that the sun is indeed a stand.

"The thermometer just jumped up to 80 degrees!" Polnareff shouts in terror as the heat becomes unbearable in a matter of seconds.

"He's planning on frying us alive!" Joseph exclaims.

"Not on my watch!" You use Karma Chameleon to turn Iggy's sand cave into a marble cave, making it harder for the sunlight to reach your friends.

Despite the cave being hardened, a laser of magma comes crashing down inside the cave. Polnareff's Chariot manages to deflect it, but he knocks over a water canteen next to him.

"Oh, damn it!" He curses after realizing he wasted his only water source.

"That's fine, look at what I can do." You charge your Hamon on the water puddle around it to form your radar, which pointed towards a rock a few meters away from you.

"Is that where the stand is?" You deduce.

"Pfft!Heheheheheheehe!" After hearing that, Kakyoin suddenly starts to laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAH!" Jotaro follows soon after, you made fun of Jotaro for not showing that much emotion before, but seeing how weird his laugh is, maybe that's just for the best.

"Ahahahahahahahahaha!" Polnareff laughs along with the two, something that made Joseph and Iggy look away from outside the cave to the laughing trio.

"Teeheehehehehehehee" You laugh along with them, to the confusion of Joseph.

"I don't get it, what are you all laughing at?" Joseph scratches his head.

"Look at that rock over there, Mr. Joestar, isnt it just big enough for someone to hid behind?" Kakyoin points to the rock your Hamon detector found.

"What about it?" Joseph still has no clue on what he's talking about.

"There's a rock on the opposite side that looks exactly the same, but the shadow is mirrored to the other side."

"I don't think he'll get it unless you attack the rock, Kakyoin." You quit your laughing fit.

"Alright then, Emerald Splash!" He summons his stand to attack the "rock", breaking the mirror that was reflecting the rock from far away.

"What? A hole appeared in the air." Joseph unsucessfully tries to figure out what's going on.

"Do I have to explain everything to you, old man? The user was reflecting the desert and tailing us from behind." Jotaro scolds his grandpa for making him explain the joke.

"It's so stupid! I can't believe it actually worked." Polnareff laughs as the sun fades out to be replaced with the moon.

"So we already beat the guy? Even though we barely saw his stand?" Joseph finally connects the dots.

"Yeah, I guess so." You say back to him.

"What a dumb stand, this was one of the shortest fights we've had so far!" You get out of Iggy's cave and approach the guy hiding behind a mirror and an air conditioner. "Do you think this guy's stand is lethal to vampires? Imagine if he just activated his stand in front of Dio and saved us the trouble of going to Egypt."

"Nah, I don't think Dio would fall for this dumbass trick." Polnareff chuckles. "Whatever his stand does, it's probably better than this."

"Still, should we check if he has a flesh bud on him?" You ask the group in case he needs help.

"I can't see any" Jotaro takes a closer look at him. "Either Dio wisened up and started placing those inside people's brains, or he's jus some asshole who got payed to kill us off. Either way, I'm not bothering with him."

"Alright then, let's go back to the camels!" Kakyoin calls the camels to his side.

"But it's dangerous at night!" Joseph rejects his suggestion.

"Mr. Joestar, we already took care of the guy, we're in the clear." The frenchman attempts to calm the british grandpa.

"Camels!? Not again--" You already start to whine about having to deal with your camel again, but then you realize you're already on him again with Iggy.

"Damn it, Hitomi. No need to rush it up like this, you'll end up scaring the camels." Jotaro hides his helping hand by giving you a fake scold.

Feeling reinvigorated after the fight, you patiently wait for them to get back on their camels to put your fist in the air and shout while you ride through the desert night.

"Next stop, Saudi Arabia!"

Humbled. The way Hitomi's been handling stand users reminded him of what caused him to lose to Jonathan 100 years ago: Underestimating his opponents. He was pretty tired of searching for blood for the past few weeks, but now that he's close to a full recovery Dio is taking some time to breathe.

It wasn't that similar to what happened to him.

Now that he knows Avdol will be returning he plans on taking him out on Egypt with his remaining stand users. He's not taking any chances after how well Hitomi went along with Iggy.
Dio always hated dogs so murdering one who happens to be your friend sounds particularly delightful for him
He'll be calling a ceirtain priest to visit him for a second opinion now that he knows Jotaro can stop time.
>>
>>2212912
I see...so Dio's not only been accelerating his plans, but he's been feeding a lot more frequently to heal up with the lesser amount of time he has compared to canon.
Cairo might have a really tense atmosphere by the time we arrive.
>>
>>2212912

Hypothetically speaking, how would DIO handle Ultimate Kars returning to Earth? Would he try and confront him or would he just grind his teeth and stay hidden until he thought of a good way to handle him?
>>
File: Spoiler Image (408 KB, 1280x720)

>>2213159
The outcome would be heavily situational. But let's just say that if Kars returned at present time, Dio would be more than ready to take him down since he'd likely pair up with his strongest ally.
>>
>>2213227
for a moment, I thought he was wearing one of those one-piece pajamas with a hoodie.
>>
>>2213227
Looking at it, Jotaro has a good chance of winning against Vanilla Ice. His time stop abilities might mean that everyone will be able to escape alive.

Hitomi on the other hand... she might have some trouble with him.
>>
>>2213297
Seriously, we need to copy his stand sometime soon. Just to see how karma platinum would work.
>>
>>2213299
I think we should try out copying the stands of all of our allies. Would Heirophant Green make KC stretchy? Would Silver Chariot give a different defensive bonus depending on if we absorbed the outer armor or the inner layer? Would Iggy's stand simply turn Karma into normal particulate sand - or solid sandstone - or something else? Could, potentially, we have KC grow spikes all over herself by absorbing Hermit Purple?
After we've tried all of those out...well...maybe we could try out [Synthesis] with different stand materials. No doubt it'd be even harder than using it on regular materials, though.

Something else I want to do, too, is to challenge Iggy to a practice bout. Iggy hasn't had much experience against other stand users, as fierce as he may be - it could be good for him to learn what it's like. And it could help us to learn how to deal with unconventional stands that can't be directly harmed very easily, if at all.

Who knows - maybe when Avdol gets back, we can have a 3v3 match. We can also try out some 2v2's...or a 2v3, if we wanted to unfairly pit our current group up against Water KC and The Fool. Hard as fuck pairing to beat.
>>
>>2213610
Yeah. Combing stand materials has to be hard as hell. Probably close to final level hitomi attempts there, when we get A in precision.

September 25th, 1988.

You spent the last day and half of this one walking around the desert in those stupid camels. Fortunately, you managed to find civilization before the sun was down.

"Is that Yarpline?" Polnareff points to the collection of buildings down the road.

"Yup, I'm pretty sure they have a few hotels close to where the planes are being sold too." Joseph points out.

After getting out of their camels and finding a good hotel, the crusaders guide you to a fancy building's reception.

"Hey Polnareff, Do you mind if I room with you this time?" Kakyoin asks his french companion. "I'm always rooming with Jotaro, so I figured I should change things up this time around."

"Alright, but don't touch my hair gel without my permission, ok? My hair takes a lot of time to get done." Polnareff combs his unconventional hairdo.

You've been used to rooming with the white haired man with receded hairline, so this might turn out to change things up for you too...

"In that case, I'll room with..."

"In that case, I'll room with Iggy." You point to the small dog eating coffee gum on the ground. It would be good to spend some time with him now that he's warmed up to you.

"Woof!" He barks with a neutral expression, not really seeming to care on who he stays with.

"That means I'll stick with the Old Man." Jotaro picks the safe option.

"I'll be buying the Cessna tomorrow, so enjoy the rest, folks." Joseph takes off his hat to inform the group of his plans.

"Try not to miss me, Hitomi!" Polnareff jokes, opening up the door to Kakyoin's room.

...

After having a meal and unpacking your things, you notice its still 7 PM, since you still have a couple hours to spend.

Is there anything particular you should do in your free time?

Since you're not feeling sleepy, you decide to kill some time interacting with your canine roomate.

"Hey Iggy, could you summon The Fool for a second?" You ask.

He doesn't really know why you are asking this, but ultimately complies, curious to see what you have in mind.

As the sand stand is conjured up before your eyes, you summon Karma Chameleon and try absorbing the sand the mechanical stand lifted up, which works about as well as you would expect.

It has the same effect as absorbing water: nigh unvulnerability, but no offensive capabilities and difficulty to mantain the form to balance it out, you test it by only absorbing it up to Karma's arms, but you still feel a bit sore either way.

You strain your arms a bit, trying to create something out of sand like The Fool does, but seeing that nothing's really happening, you give up and restore Karma to her default form.

Still, absorbing other stands is something you should always have in mind, especially when fighting enemy stand users.

That does gives you a good idea, too...

...

After calling everyone outside the hotel, you express that you're curious about testing everyone's stand capabilities, and what better way to do so than to spar as a group?

"Are you sure? I might not be able to keep up depending on how this goes..." Joseph summons Hermit Purple, reminding you that despite managing to read minds along with other psychic abilities, his stand is pretty much a bunch of thorny ropes.

"That's ok though, I have a good plan to make things up." You start explaining how this will go down.

"We'll fight as a tag team, with 2 groups of 3." You propose your plan to the team. "The first one to give up or be incapacitated will be out.

"Sounds fair." Kakyoin seems to be fine with that idea.

"I'll do it on one condition, though." Jotaro raises his finger. "I will be going against you, we do want to keep this balanced, afterall."

"Ok then." You give him a confident grin "I haven't beat you in a spar yet, so this will be my time to shine!"

"We'll see about that, pick your team, I'll stick with the ones left." Jotaro waits for you to choose two out of the four other combatants in this spar.

"I'll pick Iggy and Mr. Joestar then." You surprise everyone in the group by your odd comp choice.

"Are you sure about that?" Even Jotaro was taken aback by your choice.

"You must be underestimating us if you think I can't win with them." You keep your confidence shining through. "It takes more than strength and abilities to win stand fights, remember?"

Iggy also looks pretty happy, but that's probably because that means he has a chance to humiliate Polnareff if he plays his cards right.

"She's right, I can still use my hamon to take you down, Jotaro!" Joseph is pumped to hear your response, reminding himself of his earlier days.

"Ok then... Kakyoin, Polnareff." He calls The Hierophant and The Chariot to his side.

Now that both teams are complete, you walk a few steps back with Iggy and Joseph as they summon their stands one after another.

Jotaro's time stopping behemoth, Polnareff's hypersonic Chariot and Kakyoin's fierce sniper VS Your four armed dancer, Iggy's sand robot and Joseph's rosy thorns mixed up with his Hamon abilities.

This will be the perfect time to see everyone in action. However, that means that they'll probably do their best to not lose, regardless of which user you chose, this would be a pretty trick battle...

"GO!" You shout as everyone draws their stands at the same time.

"Charioooot!" Polnareff is the first to attack, aiming straight at The Fool. What would be an astonishing combo of slashes turns out to be for nothing, considering Iggy's stand is just a pile of sand.

"Oh No--!" Polnareff is about to steal Joseph's catchphrase, but is interrupted by Iggy's sand being fired at him like a machine gun.

"Khooooooooh...." Joseph charges his Hamon in place while staring straight at Kakyoin.

"Emerald...." Kakyoin charges his barrage of emeralds, expecting to be the first to draw his attack.

"Hermit Purple!" The old man suddenly draws his stand to restrain Hierophant Green's hands. "And, Hamon!" He transfers his Hamon energy straight to his stand, electrocuting Kakyoin's stand while he suffers the damage.

Since both of them already seem to be dealing with their respective oponnents, you walk towards Jotaro with your stand ready to strike at him, with him and Star Platinum doing the same.

"ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!" He managed to throw his powerful punches with little effort.

"KORESOREKORESORE!" You parry each punch he does with perfection, but they're obviously taking a toll on you considering you haven't absorbed anything before fighting.

"Star Finger!" He temporarily stops his punches to extend his finger to stab your stand, making Karma fall back and lose her balance.

"Psych!" as your stand falls down, you manage to use Karma Chameleon's legs to kick Star Platinum on his chin while Jotaro's guard was down.

"Good grief..." Jotaro wipes the blood you drew on him with his jacket, staring at you with a determined look.

"I see. You can overdrive me pretty easily since your stand is directly connected into your body..." Kakyoin analyses his current situation after recovering from the shock. "But that won't stop me from attacking either, Emerald SplaaAAAAAAAAAaaa--"

BAM!

Kakyoin's emerald barrage is completely wasted since Joseph musters all of his strength to lift Kakyoin up into the air with his stand and fling him to a wall, making him collapse from the unexpected attack.

"Looks like I still got some fighting spirit in me!" He proudly boasts while the schoolboy is seeing stars after recieving the blow.

"Get a hold of this!" Polnareff starts to turn the tides with Iggy after taking his armor off, throwing every pile of sand away from him with his sword, effectively countering Iggy's attacks and positioning himself closer to the dog.

Joseph obviously wants to hel Iggy now that he's on the recieving end, but knowing that fighting a rapier with thorns wouldn't be a splendid idea, he waits for an opportunity to strike.

"Got ya!" Your stand grabs Star Platinum's arm with one set of hands.

"ORA!" Jotaro quickly turns your plan down by punching her back with his free arm, sending Karma flying towards the ground.

The attack hits you like a tank since you weren't protected by any extra shielding, but you're not down for the count since he didn't use his full force on that punch.

"I'm not falling for that, Hitomi. You should know that by now." Jotaro approaches your fallen stand. "I would ask you to give up now, but knowing you, it's likely not over yet."

Since were closing in on DIO we need to start thinking of a way to defend ourself while in time stop if we go against DIO, Joseph had a great idea of covering himself with Hamon and his stand, can we do something like that as well like MAX HARDNESS surrounded by Hamon so we won't get knifed to the throat?

>Back off with Karma and have her scoop up handfulls of dirt, convert them to marble, and fire them off one after the other nonstop at Jotaro. But, after a few moments of doing this, suddenly toss two in a different direction - directly at Polnareff, who is focusing on his own fight.

Remember, in a 3v3 the goal is for the team to win, not the individual! If we can all gang up on Jotaro, we might be able to finish this much easier.

After dodging all of The Fool's attacks, Silver Chariot catches Iggy with his hands and forces him to stand still for 3 seconds.

"There! Immobilized!" He's satisfied to best the dog that has been pestering him for so long. "Now I only have to deal with Mr. Jo--"

"Zoom Punch!" Joseph extends his right arm to punch Polnareff's nape, knocking him down head first into the sand.

"Argh! Mr. Joestar! When the hell did you learn to do that?" Polnareff stops the fight to ask him a valid question.

"It's been a while, but I still got the hang of it." Joseph thinks out loud, not really answering The Chariot's question. "Now, come at me, Pol!"

"Silly Jotaro, you know me too well." You make Karma jump into the air in an attempt to catch Star Platinum's hands. Seeing what you planned on doing, he grabs your wrists before you could even get close to him and pins your stand into the ground with his.

"I'm ready to stop when you are, Hitomi." Jotaro shows his point by immobilizing your wrists, not wanting to escalate things any further and hurt you in the process.

You can't actually see how Joseph is doing, but knowing who he's up against, he probably won't last long. You're already having a hard time with one stand, let alone two.

What Joseph did really seemed like an interesting technique. He appears to have dislocated his own arm to extend his reach while numbing the pain with Hamon and using it to bring his arm back to normal.

Jotaro sure will be in for a surprise...

You arch your back, breathe deeply, close your fist and....

SNAP!

"AAAAARGH!" You scream in pain after dislocating your shoulder.

"Whoa! Cut the match!" Polnareff unsummons his Chariot after hearing your pain.

"For fuck's sake... I know something like this would happen." Jotaro approaches you and uses Star Platinum's precision to place your joint back in it's place. "That's enough fighting for today, we're going to bed!"

Seeing how Jotaro got upset at you for not knowing when to call it quits, you lower your head and comply, going back to your room, where Joseph treats your injury with his own Hamon, along with the help of a first aid kid.

...

September 26th, 1988.

You're woken up by Iggy biting at your shoe, a bit more delicate than barking in your ear, but still pretty startling.

You try to move your arm to see that it's already healed, although somewhat sensitive.

"Thanks, Iggy." You say to the dog after waking up. "Where are the others, though?"

Iggy sniffs around the room for a few seconds before jumping out the window down to the streets below.

"Hey, wait! I can't run that fast!" You say as you follow him down the stairs.

Running after the dog, you reach the place where Joseph said to be selling planes, with a tired Kakyoin holding a baby.

"Hey, Hitomi..." He blurts out, barely keeping his eyes open.

"Is your arm better now?" Joseph asks.

Maybe make our arm into a Star Platinum arm or something? admittedly, we've tried turning living parts into inanimate objects and change them back with success, but we have yet to test ethereal objects like stands, it could be passed off as science/ability testing, tho we might be scolded for testing on ourselves, we also don't know how our stand works while we sleep, seeing as Karma seems to be very vaguely automatic or has a very, very low level of consciousness to itself

"I'm feeling a lot better after you helped me out, Mr. Joestar." You say to the Cessna pilot. "Thanks."

"Anytime, Hitomi!" He gives you a thumbs up.

"Goo,goo!" The baby calls for your attention.

"Oh, Kakyoin! You were going to be a dad all this time and never told us?" You tease him by implying the baby is his.

"H-Hey, that's not what happened!" Kakyoin goes from sleepy to flustered after hearing your implications. "We got into an argument with a lady who wanted to treat her sick baby, so we offered to help him get to the next city with us."

"Oh, I see..." You quit joking with him for now.

"I'm a bit worried to fly here since we'd be vulnerable for a stand attack..." Joseph expresses his worries.

"Cmon, Mr. Joestar! No one would send their stand after us in the air, we even made sure the plane wasn't a stand before buying it." Polnareff says. "Just get in already, the faster we get to Egypt, the less you'll have to worry about that."

After Joseph and Kakyoin get on the plane, you signal over to Jotaro to apologize to him.

"Jotaro... I'm sorry if I made you worry about me yesterday." You look down and scratch the of your head, telling your sincere apology to your classmate. "I shouldn't have done that, I'm really sorry..."

For some reason, he eyes you up for a few seconds before saying. "Let's just get on the plane."

Was he trying to see if you were lying? Was he just checking if you were okay? Both, Maybe? This one is kinda hard to tell...

The Cessna is incredibly cramped!

It clearly was made with 4 people in mind, not 5. the fact that you're carrying a baby and a dog in it probably doesn't make it any better.

Kakyoin and Polnareff are taking a nap with you on the backseat while Joseph has Iggy in his lap with Jotaro to his side.

You promised to take care of the baby, but this flight is so boring you'll have to do something else to stay awake until you get to the Red Sea.

>Take a nap, what's the worst that could happen?

>Stay awake, the baby might need something.

You know...I was just wondering. Would your training accelerate if you learned how to hamon breath while asleep? I'm inclined to think it might, from a meta standpoint, because Joseph and Caesar totally had to hamon breath 24/7 even when they were asleep, and a month of that gave them damn good progress. Alongside other things, of course.
But still...be it now or later, maybe we should consider trying to pick up the skill at some point.
>>

Could try some meditation techniques while going to sleep. Close our eyes and hamon breathe until we either fall asleep, hopefully still doing that, or until morning arrived. Who knows how that might turn out though. Maybe we can ask when Avdol arrives

You decide to lean back and close your eyes on Karma Chameleon's shoulder, making her absorb the seats for some extra cushioning while you drift off to sleep.

...

It's dark. You eyes are wide open, but you only see darkness around you, weird...

After you hear a faint sound of a baby crying, a blinding light makes the darkness disappear.

After your eyes get accostumed to the lighting, you figure out where exactly you are.

"An amusement park?" You mutter to yourself, noticing you're sitting down on a roller coaster ride.

Cool! You've only been to a place like this once with your parents back in Tokyo, it's good to finally have a good dream for once.

Strangely enough, you canstill here the baby's crying echoing towards the ferris wheel.

Wait. This is really a dream, right?

Making the mental image of an ice cream, you see a chocolate sundae poof right on your hand. Giving it a few licks to see if you can actually taste it, you come to the realization that this is a dream, without a shadow of a doubt.

"Wheee!"

Jumping from the rollercoaster, you start flying through the sky like Peter Pan, doing a few loop-the-loops while trying to find the baby.

Hearing the cry a lot clearer in the ferris wheel, you decide to approach it in order to check hat was happening there.

There appears to be two men having an argument on one of the cabins, but you can't make their appearance clear from up there, maybe flying down a bit would help...

Wait, why are you falling down? That's not what you wanted to do!

"Hey, Hitomi!" You hear Polnareff's voice waking you up from your dream. "Could you help me out with the baby? I need to change his diapers."

Coming up to your senses, you realize that you are still on the plane with everyone else. It couldn't be more than a few minutes since you started your nap.

What were you dreaming about again? You can't seem to remember...

Nevermind that, let's answer Polnareff first.

>Hold the baby while he changes his diapers.

>Did you really had to wake me up for that?

>Why not call Kakyoin for it?

>Write-in.

After a short yawn, you take a look at the baby, who Polnareff is holding upside down by his legs.

"Polnareff! That's not how you hold a baby!" You scold your friend for mistreating him.

"How would i know?"

"I've played with dolls until I was 9! How dare you treat him like this in front of an expert?" You grab the baby from him and turn his head up, placing one hand in his torso and another one on his head.

"I'm...Sorry?" He apparently doesn't seem to understand what's so special about the way you hold the baby. "Anyway, hold him still while I pin his diaper."

While you're busing holding the baby, you notice Kakyoin is whimpering beside you, apparently having a bad dream.

"NO! STOP! GET AWAY FROM ME!" He suddenly screams, flailing around the plane.

"What's wrong, Kakyoin?" Jotaro looks back, only to see the pink hairred boy kick Joseph straight in the face, temporarily making him lose control of the plane.

"Crap!" Joseph curses after seeing the Cessna he just bought spiraling down into the ground.

"We're not going to crash again, are we?" Jotaro groans.

"Woof!" Iggy seems to panic while Jotaro tries to hold him still.

"What is it with him? He was like that this morning, too!" Polnareff dodges the punches Kakyoin unconsciously throws at him.

"Whatever, just try to calm him down!" Joseph says while trying to save the plane.

>Try to wake Kakyoin up.

>Keep holding the baby.
>>
>>2216473
>Try to wake Kakyoin up.
If we do crash, that's not necessarily the end of the Cessna. We could always try to use Karma's abilities to change damaged metal into something malleable to put things back into place and change back into the original material.

"STOP! PLEASE! STOP!" Kakyoin keeps flailing about, almost hitting the baby in the process.

"KNOCK IT OFF!" You hit Kakyoin with Karma's four handed slaps, instantly waking him up.

"Wh-What's going on?" The confused highschooler is startled after seeing the plane almost crashing down.

"You got him!" Polnareff congratulates you for waking him up, making it easier for Joseph to focus on the Cessna.

"Screw it, Hermit Purple!" Joseph uses his stand to override the plane's controls, sucessfuly making it fly again. "Yes! I did it! Just in time."

"Did we really almost get into another plane crash, Old Man?" Jotaro scoffs. "This is why I'm never going on a plane with you again."

"To be fair, the blame isn't really on him..." You give a sour look to Kakyoin.

"Yeah! What's wrong with you, Kakyoin? You almost got us killed!" Polnareff scolds him for daydreaming.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that! It's just--" Kakyoin starts to explain himself before you unexpectedly jump into the driver's seat.

"Watch out for the palm tree!" You take the control wheel to protect the plane, and by proxy the baby from getting blown to smitherines.

"Good to know Hitomi's paying more attention on piloting than you, Gramps." Jotaro jokes after seeing your impulsive reaction.

"You know Hitomi, if this isn't proof that you will be a great mom when you grow up, I don't know what is." Joseph takes his eyes back to the sky.

After about an hour, Joseph makes a stop in another village to safely deliver the baby to a hospital, just like his mother intended. After that, he took off again, only stopping when reaching the city of Jeddah, where a SpeedWagon foundation had a boat ready to take the group to a small island where the submarine would arrive.

Everyone slept soundly that day, except Kakyoin.

After doing the math, we've saved approximately 4-5 days on trip so far, I think. Which, while not seeming significant, is actually pretty good.
What's considerably more important than how fast we're doing things, however, is how good of a condition everyone's been in so far. We haven't been worn down to a level that we can't easily recover with a day or two of rest.
And remember, every day that we win is one less day that Dio has to prepare and recover with. One less day that Dio has developed his stand's power.

Did any of our team members learn anything important from the fights?
I'm hoping that Iggy gleaned something about what it is to fight stands, since he hasn't actually done it much at all before.
It was also nice to see Joseph getting his confidence about his fighting skills back. I think he underestimates what his hamon and stand combined can do.

I fear it may be more on the side of he now finds himself caring about us too much and doesn't want us to finish this journey or something along those lines. Jotaro learned you can be a bit stubborn when things don't go your way.
Polnareff feels a lot more comfortable fighting without his armor now despite the major durability drop he recieves.
Kakyoin learned that blindly doing the same attack against an enemy isnt a smart thing to do.
Joseph will try to be more proactive now that he can do a thing or two with his stand.

DIO with a 3-second timestop but back at his Vampiric peak would be harder to deal with than Vanilla DIO, I think.

1.) He'll be able to make zombies and hybrid zombie minions.

2.) He'll be able to laugh off most of any physical injury. In part 1, he wasn't drastically affected by being partially bisected and showed that he can re-attach severed limbs without needing to drink blood. Star Platinum's punches to his head would probably still be able to stun him, but they wouldn't reduce him to a crawling desperate mess who needs to grab on to a speeding car to avoid dying.

Hey Dust, if Jonathan Joestar was holding DIO back all of this time, then he was probably at least subconsciously aware of his presence right?
