In the Grim Darkness of the Far Future, you are the Herald of the Omnissiah, and also will become the Omnissiah in the near future to complete the circle.

Currently, you are at the negotiating table with a representative of Abaddon's Dark Imperium(who tried to entrap you here, but your own hidden forces already destroyed his) and representatives of Guiliman's United Imperium of Man and Eldar.

You and your partner Medusa had conquered Terra, and Medusa has consumed and absorbed the God-Emperor.

Here's out character sheet, blessed by a tech priest: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rl2umEyvrjSYrNAq6s_sRBshJSljgCQat136XA2bkr0/edit?usp=sharing

Just in case you don't know, the objective with dice rolls in to roll under our attributes, with modifiers given based on the difficulty of the situation. A 1 is a critical success, a 100 is a critical failure. I usually wait for about three different people to give rolls unless there's not a lot of activity. Anyways, onto the quest!

What will you agree to in response to the United Imperium's demands?

>[1] Agree to a ceasefire until the tyranids can be dealt with

[5] both 2 and 3, but leave them tainted by chaos in such a way as to convert all. Give dorn back his mind but make him devoted in secret to our cause. Let the fists all seek to emulate their lord.

Damn it Magos, we all thought you died on us

Wow, thought this was dead for a moment there. [2] it is!

"We will agree to a cease fire and the return of Dorn's body. We already have Perturabo, and they're basically the same." You say.

"This is acceptable in the face of the tyranid threat." Calgar grunts. Eldrad nods with him.

"Well then... since I am at your mercy, I'm assuming you have some demands for Abaddon's Dark Imperium? I have no power to make any deals, but I can act as messenger," Ahirman says, shaking in his boots.

I in fact did not die. I just got tired for a bit.

>[5] In private, sway the allegiance of Ahriman to our side

We have seen his master Tzneetch's will firsthand. We are about to attain literal godhood. Once we conquer the United Imperium we will more or less own the Black Library. This should be more than enough to pique the interest of the greatest chaos sorcerer in the galaxy.

If not, we can always just blow his head off and take his fleet anyway.

lets do it then, quest is dying again

"Ah, Ahirman. I wish to speak with you in private. Eldrad, Cagar, we are done here. Please allow me to speak with the sorcerer."

The space marine and farseer leave, their business completed. You won't have to worry about them as you fight off the tyranids luckily enough.

"Now then Ahirman, why do you work for Abaddon? Why chain yourself to the Despoiler? He will not give you knowledge, he will not grant you further power. He is unable to overthrow the gods themselves."

"Are you saying I should join you?"

"Why not? My Imperium is vast, stable, and growing. We have raided the Emperor's Personal archives. We have access to all things the Emperor had and more. And soon, I shall become a god."

"Could you get me the Black Library?"

"Once the tyranids are dealt with, the Eldar will be shattered like glass, and you shall have it."

"Fine then, you have my allegiance. Never liked Abaddon anyways. Even Magnus may join you at this point; he only ever really wanted to kill the Emperor and Russ, and Abaddon isn't doing either of those things right now. I shall go. Expect raiding from Abaddon, but not battle fleets. The tyranids threaten him as well." Ahirman leaves.

You lean back. The pieces for the galaxy are in place. Now then, what to do, what to do?

>[1] Fight off the Tyranids
>[2] Attack the United Imperium while their guard is down

lets put our resident gene stealer to work. Perhaps he can us with greatness, and perhaps we can discover further secrets.

-unrelated but i suspect this will be the last thread. i hope you get to finish your story.

With the encroaching tyranids, you decide it is best to speak with Kall, your resident genestealer magos biologus.

You find him within the Emperor's Labs. He has grown much larger over the course of your conquest, becoming a massive biomechanical construct befitting his station. Still, his overall body is inspired by his original form, with four massive arms.

"Kall, I wish to do something with the tyranids besides simply destroying them."

"Hisss... Lord Herald, I thought you'd never ask. I have been working on suppressing and supplanting the Hive Mind in all spare time."

"You can have me take over the tyranids?"

"You? No. Not at this point. We are far past then. If you had given me the forces to take the hive fleet back when we were trapped in the sector, maybe I could've then. But now? You are too set, too full of warp energies. Your destiny has been set, there is only one thing left to consume for you. However, there is a point, in the void beneath the galaxy, where all synaptic webs converge. Get me there, and I would be able take control of it all."

>[1] Assit Kall in taking over the tyranids
>[2] Do not allow Kall to do this

Medusa for the humans, kall for the tyranid, 101 to act as the god they worship.
I can dig it

"You taking control of the tyranids is a suitable outcome if I cannot do so myself. What will you need?"

"Ideally, all of our fleets. I have already planned for multiple possible scenarios that depended on what you allow me.

>"Plan 1: The entirety of our forces are dedicated to this task. I estimate that a full half of our forces would be lost to the Tyranids in this case, and that the enemy Imperiums would seize unprotected border planets."

"Plan 2: Using your powers gained from consuming the C'tan shard in preparation for consuming the Void Dragon, you awaken every Tomb World at once. In the resulting chaos, we spearhead towards the center of the Swarm. Some planets would be lost to Necrons, and the other Imperiums would be cross with us."

>"Plan 3: Using Medusa's power as God-Empress and your own power, we open a massive rift into the warp to consume many tyranids. The rift would be massive, and seriously damage real space."

>"Plan 4: You, Medusa, and I teleport there directly. We would very likely die, but then again, we could instead succeed."

>Plan 5: Suggest your own plan

Obviously we don't care what the other imperiums think so I'm fine with this

Redshirts. Redshirts everywhere.

>"Plan 3: Using Medusa's power as God-Empress and your own power, we open a massive rift into the warp to consume many tyranids. The rift would be massive, and seriously damage real space."

nothing we can't fix later. plus it keeps the other two imperiums busy.

In the resulting chaos, we spearhead towards the center of the Swarm. Some planets would be lost to Necrons, and the other Imperiums would be cross with us
This plan will affect us the least and we were going to end up fighting the other Imperiums when the Tyranids were no longer a problem.

>Plan 2: Awaken every Tomb World at once
At this point, we're basically fucking up the galaxy as much as possible before we leave.

Also, I made a slightly more aesthetically-pleasing logo for the quest. Gonna slap it on some Chaos Marines for DOW2. Whatever happened with our "Order Machina" marines anyway?

I guess Trollzyn stole them too.

BTW quest died again?

Nah, just started a new job and have been tired. This particularl thread is kind of dead due to the fact I started it right before Spring Break when I was working a shit ton, but now my schedule is actually stabilized and I'll start up a new thread on Saturday!

We're going to actually complete this fucked up journey I tell you!

Also, thank you for the logo.
