We decide that, as our automata has grown a personality of its own (annoying as it may be), it would be wrong to risk his life on an experiment, so we'll go with the lamp.

Well, with all of our smart fianceés helping, it is just a matter of an hour or so before we try flipping the switch on the lamp again, and the end result is turning our bedside light into a lighthouse bulb.

The light is so bright that everyone is blinded for a few seconds, so we turn it off right away.

"W-what happened?" - Mako is standing still as she tries casting heal spells on herself
"It was too strong. Hold on, your eyes should get better in a few moments..."

Well, maybe we could use it in an actual lighthouse. It would be nice to have a small-sized device rather than a large and complex crystal array.

If we add a nice screen to it, I guess it can easily replace all the lights in the (quite massive) bedroom. Place it on the roof, place an opaque skin on it so its light hits and spreads from the roof down to the rest of the room.

We improvise a worktable on top of the dinner table, and sit around it with our girls, fiddling with our old lamp and the [Heartstone] and trying different things.

Aritsu is writing her thesis around shortening spell chants and circuits, so now that the lamp is working with the heartstone, she wants to see if it can be further improved, or at least simplified.

Lyann is actually surprisingly good with enchantments, so she's looking for a way to improve the light effect itself.

Miel keeps bringing us snacks together with Mako.

Dawn seems interested in other potential uses for the long and thick lamp's body. Right now, she is trying to make it work as a battery, it seems.

We sit around the table together and have a nice quiet night, with Mako sitting next to us after a while and eventually falling asleep against our side.

Well, she's used to pretty much automatically falling asleep at what for us would be 10 o'clock, sharp.

As it turns out, that was indeed the correct way to get past the boss room. Doing it this way, they are not even that hard.

As we head down to the next floor, we find that all monsters are in couples. Well, it seems killing them both at the same time is the way to go, so we mostly use party-friendly AoE, though it makes the going a bit slower.

It is a shame that the monsters seem to drop loot as a single monster, albeit of higher level than they really are.

It's been a while, but we've gotten a few new weapons again. Sadly, our pets can't use them, and ours are better.

Okay, so we found a good that increases XP bonuses, and GAINS that increases stat boosts at the threat of perma-death.
We can look into increasing the XP Boost amount, or making GAINS safer to use. What about some kind of linked item that can channel XP gains from other parties towards us?
We know something like it exists as part of Ren’s Imperial Regalia.

We could just spam pet parties (I mean parties made of just our pets) since they channel exp to us anyway.

I somehow dont see how we could get groups of regular people to send us a share of their exp. I mean, it makes sense for Mako and Ren since they are worshipped as living goddesses, but for us?

Not unless you wanna use slaves, I think. But pets are an actually better option
