The first half an hour of the boarding is a bloody affair, the dead choking the boarding pods as the fire cuts down any they find, for every feroxians felled 50 invaders dropped in retaliation.....Then the anti-capitol weapons fell quiet, and the protective cover of shrapnel and weapons fire drops away, the dreadnought left without its weaponry. Then the number of invaders increased.....now it was 40 per feroxian.....now it was 20, now there was 2 per feroxian. All the while the combat lines retreat, engines died next. Then the food hall, then the sabotaged weapon dumps, then the destroyed comms towers........On and on the battle wore before the 4 hour mark with a massive line of mechsuits and emplacements protecting the massive blast door leading to the bridge, firing into the hallway leading up to it. For another 20 minutes the weapons fire unceasingly, claiming many of the defenders. 8 mechs left with the wounded feroxians either on their front or cowering in indents of the floor. And from behind them the blast doors crack open just enough for a giant mechsuit to crawl under it the wounded being dragged or forced in so the blast door may seal again.

"Burns-their-homes, Rips-their-heart. We advance, if we find their leader he is mine. Otherwise kill them all"

My sons, Tonox, my eldest and heir.

Ruxex, my second oldest.
>The one with a short lance nods
Eorex, my 4th born.
>The short one with two swords grins
And my youngest son, Serex.
>The one clad in fine clothing and features considering unmasculine by Yss throw a glance at the Rumar
So, what brings you here?
>>
>>2478386
>Rukaar opens his arms wide to the group with a laugh, he then rolls his left shoulder while speaking
Recently my people have been attacked by a race of reptilian soldiers, I thought you and the dukedom would like to know
>>
>>2478392
Reptilian soldiers you say? Were they a mercenary force or soldiers from another nation?
>>
>>2478418
These kunglik kingdoms, industrial power near me. They've been attacking my colonies, we've prepared to engage them
>>
>>2478430
Well, if they have instigated conflict, we are obliged to assist you in this endeavour. You do understand are terms when dealing with these races?
>>
>>2478438
I do not. I simply will defend my people against them and the other races fighting for this belt of worlds
>>
>>2478446
Given the distance of the nation in question, we cannot comply with the emergency measures of moving them to safer territory. As such we hope to make autonomous vassals, thus allowing you unimpeding expansion in the area, and bringing a end to conflicts over rights.
>>
>>2478462
Well I will still to fight them and the shogunate in the same area. I can not wait, it will be a glorious bloodbath
>>
>>2478484
Reptilian lives lost is never a good thing, but she times a firm hand is needed. What is this shogunate you speak of?
>>
>>2478497
Another race fighting for control of the belt, they have engaged both my forces and the Kunglik's
>>
>>2478605
A three way war? Oh dear, that dose not sound good. This matter will need to be resolved as fast as possible.
>>
>>2478613
Agreed. But you should not worry, enjoy this day with your sons
>>
>>2478642
I am, now that they are all here.
>He grins at Rukaar
Still, it's news to be taken seriously.
>>
>>2478675
I am taking it seriously, but today is a special day for you. Don't worry yourself
>>
>>2478688
No it's fine. The news is good in a way, a reptilian race has been revealed to us, but will be brought into the fold the way we wouldn't want. I must relay the message, a moment please.
>He exits, leaving Rukaar with his four sons.
>>
>>2478710
>Rukaar folds his arms and nods to the Yss nobles, they were sons of taxla so Rukaar already held respect for them
>>
>>2478730
>Serex, the youngest sighs and stands up, his smaller frame bulked by his fine coat
"I'm going out to see Qorox, tell father that will you brother dear?"
>Tonox sighs but nods, and with that he leaves
>>
>>2478755
Who's that, and why do all your names end with x
>He says the last part with a chuckle
>>
>>2478863
>Tonox speaks
Qorox is a Jiyys, the Island Yss. He's a, a close friend of Serex. Reason for his love of Southern clothes and cultures.
>Eorex sniggers
"Among other things southern"
>Tonox sighs and looks to Rukaar
As for the prevalence of the letter X in all names, it's a homage to the greatest Yssravannar hero and first Ancestor God.
>>
>>2478901
>Rukaar frowns
I can't say much, R is common among my kind as an honor to the Runakii.
>He looks to the snickering brother
What is he laughing about
>>
>>2478945
>Tonox scratches his neck and looks at the door, hoping Taxla won't walk in

His, preference, for a lover is not what would be considered decent by our people. Qorox's people are more open to the idea, hence why he found acceptance in Qorox.
>>
>>2480777
What's his preference? Does he not like warriors, is he one of those that like craftsmen or fishers more. Bah, warriors are better lovers without a doubt. And don't get me started on those that prefer merchants
>>
>>2480783
>Eorex laughs at this and Tonox scratches his chin
I'll put this in the most blunt and simplified way I can. Qorex is a male Yss, and Serex, another male Yss, is his lover.
>>
>>2480791
Why would one have a male lover? You can't reproduce with another male. Well we Rumar can't.
>>
>>2480797
I'm not sure about it either, you'd have to ask him I think for that, he's never given a straight answer on it before.

With all due respect simply warring on them is not an option. If I may be frank the industrial might of them combined will grind you down in ships Roman till you have no more left to give.My idea is much more subtle.I say we head to the Sol system and attempt to find the true emperor Maximilian. He must be alive because otherwise my uncle would not be able to use his DNA to obtain restricted access to Imperial files and to get around tests of his identity. We find him and then head to Earth and expose my uncle as a fraud and shatter him and his top conspirators.
