January 29th, 1989.

"Took you long enough, keeping this guy locked in the Foundation for 3 weeks was real chore." Billy Idol greets his fiancée with his megaphone stand in hand.
"I had to stay in Egypt for a bit to help out Avdol, can you give me the rundown?" Tempest shuts the door behind her and stares at the interrogation room's window.
"Geoff here tried to kill Jotaro and Hitomi with his stand but it obviously backfired on him, I tried interrogating him on DIO's possible contacts but he wouldn't budge." Billy explained.
"Of course you didn't, you're awful at these things..." Tempest shook her head. "I'm sure Final Countdown will get some answers out of him, just stand behind the door in case things go south."
"Yeah yeah just make it quick, Mr. Joestar said he was calling me in a few minutes to discuss something important." Billy pays no mind to his protocol and lets Tempest enter the room where Buggles' stand user was currently at.

The moment Tempest closes the door, she's quick to summon her stand, a black and white humanoid entity with numbers from 1 to 12 scattered across it's body, with it's members resembling pointers of a clock instead of traditional arms and legs.
"AHAHAHAHA! Another stand user? Give up already, you could hold me at gunpoint and I still wouldn't spill anything to ya!" Geoff says, mockingly glaring at her stand before Final Countdown engraved the number 90 on his forehead.
"Well that's pretty much what I'm going to do to you, after being marked by Final Countdown I'll be able to stop all of your bodily functions by force, that includes your heart and brain." Tempest sits down on the chair across from Geoff to casually inform him of his current situation.
"AHAH-- Wait, are you really going to kill me!?" The bald man panics after seeing the mark counting down on the window's reflection.
"Only if you keep laughing that way." Tempest makes the counter stop at 82. "I can stop the counter but that also lets me turn it down all the way to zero when the original 90 seconds have passed. Range is also irrelevant once you're marked so you might as well stop playing around."
Geoff audibly gulped in response, appearing to be more than willing to cooperate.

"Good! I knew Billy was too soft to interrogate you properly, now..."

This is the big one. We already know DIO contracted him, we know his endgame was to kill Hitomi and Jotaro, because DIO told him to. Maybe ask

"Now who do you work for?" Tempest asks
"Me and my team were supposed to attack Joseph's group in Egypt once Enya awakened our stands, but since she had a falling out with DIO due to them disagreeing on how to approach the enemies, the old hag simply pushed us aside and told us to attack when we felt like it." Geoff blurts out.
"Why wait until now to attack?" Tempest presses him further.
"Prince found one of the arrows Enya had after she died and decided to run a few tests with it. Knowing you guys would eventually find him out he sent us to kill Jotaro's friends one by one so none of you could distract him." The stand user suddenly drops a truth bomb even Tempest wasn't expecting.
"Prince? Hold on, 'one of the arrows?' I thought there was only one!" Tempest takes her glasses off, afraid to rationalize the implications of people other than DIO having stand arrows with them.
"DIO wasn't the one who made them, Enya made a deal with a guy to get them all, pretty sure there are more than two, but they could be anywhere now..." Geoff scratches his head, clearly not knowing more than what they told him to do.

"Who else is with you then? You said you had a group, so if your employer has any schemes targeting Hitomi or anyone else you better start talking!" Tempest slams her hand on the table, ready to hear the film director speak.
"HA! Judging by how long you stalled to get an answer from me I'm pretty sure Prince has already planned an attack on someone else, we didn't speak about our missions for obvious reasons, but I would keep an eye on your boss if I were you." Geoff blissfully smiles, noticing how his own ignorance saved the rest of his group.
"Keep an eye out of Mr. Joestar? Shit, Billy! Dial his number!" The private investigator shouts to Billy, but her partner already has it covered.
"What? I couldn't hear you over the beeps!" Billy Idol patiently waits for his boss to pick up the phone. "Hey boss, did you want to talk to me?"
"Hey Billy, I know this might seem a bit sudden but my bodyguard Roses is retiring after 50 years of working with me, do you think you could find someone to fill in the job this week?" Joseph tells his employee.

>Sure.

"Later, we have something important to tell you. Some guy named Prince wants to kick everyone's asses to avenge DIO, we also found out that there are more stand arrows than the one we found in Egypt." Billy fills his superior in on the info.
"Oh god! We'll have to alert the others then!" Joseph replies.
"Be on your guard though, Geoff said something about looking out for you, it's possible the assassin might already be on his way, the fastest we can get there is 10 minutes top by car so stay sharp!
"Got it, Suzi went out to the salon, so I don't have to worry about her if he's only after me." Joseph adds. "I'll be waiting here in the living room.."
"Done, he told us to show up at his house just in case the enemy stand user appears." Billy hangs up the phone and tells Tempest the next batch of orders.

"Alright, but what are we supposed to do with him?" Tempest points to Geoff, who was calmly whistling a song while leaning back on his chair. "It took us 3 weeks to get this information so he's probably treating the interrogation room as a second house to him.
"Let's not keep him too comfortable then..." Billy cracks the joint from his knuckles, ready to give Geoff a few punches.
"Hey, we don't have to resort to violence." Tempest summons Final Countdown once again to decide the man's fate. "He was pretty cooperative but wasting our time that way after almost killing Jotaro and Hitomi is still kind of a dick move, I'm not sure of what to do with him..."

"Is there anywhere we could incarcerate him? Killing a guy just for being a dick might be a bit too harsh..." Billy argues.
"True... I guess I could look around for a good temporary cell, you can meet the boss first then, we don't have much time to waste." Tempest drags Geoff to the corridor. "Give up on your independent movie buddy, you're doing a documentary on the Foundation now."
"What!? No! I hate documentaries!" Geoff flailed on the ground in frustration as Tempest left the room, prompting Billy to meet Joseph Joestar in his apartment.

"Hello? Any stand users here?" Joseph searched around his home, hoping to catch any signs of enemy activity. "No need to be shy, all you have to do is tell me where you're hiding.
"Right behind you." A single syringe flies straight into Joseph's shoulder, automatically pumping the liquid inside his vein shortly after hitting him.
"AAAARGH!" Joseph took out the needle from his body before the syringe was empty, but he was already feeling the effects of the substance. "Wh-What the hell is this? My mouth is feeling dry, my muscles are weakening and I can't seem to breathe properly!"
"I just hit you with a good dose of Diacetylmorphine. Heroin, if you will." A cloaked man wearing a plague doctor's mask entered the apartment by the window. "I didn't give you enough to overdose, but it's enough to leave you drowsy so I can finish the job."
"Damn it. I almost went through all of my life without using illicit drugs, why did you had to ruin that? A responsible father can't be seen taking heroin!" Joseph tries to stand up, but is still feeling pretty weak from the drug.
"I was just your typical chemical engineer before Enya found me out, doing my boring job without any passion to develop better pills for the pharmaceutical industry, but after receiving my stand, Dr. Dre made good old Dell here into a complete master on his field, I can list the entire periodic table like the back of my hand! I can--"
"I didn't ask about your life story! I just wanted to know why you're doing this." Joseph cuts off Dell's monologue.
>>
>>2528219
"Fine, straight to business then!" Dell pulls up a pack of syringes from under his cloak and throws them all into a shot glass, which fills the cup without breaking it to demonstrate the precision of his strikes.
"Dr. Dre has the power to summon any poisonous chemical from under it's cloak, be it drugs, sulfuric acid or mustard gas. I was sent specifically to fight you because my stand can't protect me against the likes of Star Platinum or Silver Chariot, but killing an old man with pills and syringes is easy for me. Dr. Dre might not be strong or durable, but it's precise enough to kill a guy like you! Especially now that the heroin kicked in!"
"Hggnn! Damn it, I can't even charge my Hamon!" Joseph tries to focus his breathing but his body keeps failing on him. "This is why you don't use drugs, kids! How am I even supposed to fight this guy?"
Dell fiddles under his cloak, searching for more venom while giving the old man enough time to think.

"Ready for more, Joseph Joestar? get ready for your over dosage!" Dell aims three syringes at Joseph, but stops after seeing the old man stumbling around the room with little control of his body.
"H-hey man, this thing doesn't seem so bad actually..." Joseph pretends to be more intoxicated than he actually is. "I wouldn't mind having some more! What are you waiting for? Give it to me!"
"You know you're not fooling anyone with this, right?" The plague doctor lowers down his syringes to call out Joseph on his stupid act.
"Hermit Purple!" Joseph knocks the enemy off his feet with the thorns from his stand.

"Spoke too soon there, didn't you? I might not be able to use my Hamon, but I can still trap you with my stand!" Joseph grabs a lampshade from a nearby table and repeatedly bashes it on Dell's head.
"AAAAH! STOP IT!" The lampshade breaks after around a dozen strikes, but the blows were still hard enough to see blood dripping from beneath Dr. Dre.
"Alright funny man, how's this?" A flush of gas starts emanating from Dr. Dre, which started to wring the entire apartment with it's toxicity.
"I am completely immune to Dr. Dre's attacks, you're the only one who will suffer under the effects of the mustard gas! Have fun losing the few amount of oxygen you had left!"

Despite having him in your grasp, letting him poison the room while you're barely able to breathe as is makes it possible for him to turn the tides on you. Come on, Joseph! You've gone through worse! Keep it together! All you have to do is think of a plan.

>I wonder which crusader if going to get shit luck and die? Well aside from Iggy.
>>
Earlier, I was thinking about how useful Hitomi's stand is in the medical field.
By the time you reach 20, your arteries are typically narrowed by about 50% due to cholesterol forming plaque inside of them. She could just turn that plaque into blood, eliminating the buildup and optimizing bloodflow again.
Have cancer? Replace the cancer cells with normal cells.
I'm sure she could even pull off some kind of filter where harmful bacteria and viruses going through the bloodstream get converted into something a lot more beneficial (white blood cells, perhaps, for helping the body fight the illness even quicker?)

Anyways, even without ascending past humanity, there's a lot she could do to give herself even better health than hamon masters. Adding hamon on top of that is just icing on the cake.
She's going to have a reeeeal long natural lifespan.

"Mustard gas? Please, I had a poisoned ring stuck inside my heart when I was younger! This is nothing!" Joseph lifts Dell up from the ground with his stand and decides to chuck him against the glass window, knocking the man wearing Dr. Dre to the edge of the 20 meter tall building.
"*Cough Cough Cough Cough* Finally, I'm starting to get some air again..." Joseph picks up the plague doctor about to fall from the window with Hermit Purple. "There we go, no need to be afraid."
"You fool! Nothing's stopping me from sending mustard gas to the floors below! Just watch me- Ack! *Cough Cough*" Dell tries to use Dr. Dre to hurt the innocent neighbors in the premise, but Joseph's purple thorns are quick to tighten the grip around Dell's neck, showing the old man was more than capable of kill him if he had to.

"Bet it feels extra shameful to be defeated by an old man when you drugged him up, right? Just take the loss already, it's not that hard." Joseph chuckles while letting the stand user pull himself back up. "There we go! What are you doing now?"
Dell's poor decision skills made him think summoning a glass full of potassium cyanide in front of Joseph would be a good idea, but since the Joestar was still holding Dr. Dre with his stand, that looked like nothing short of stupid to him.
"Really? Are you planning on throwing a jar of cyanide against me? After all of that? I don't know if I should call that ballsy or ridiculous."
"Shut up! I won't lose to a drugged old fart with the weakest stand from the entire- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Joseph simply shoves the man from the building as he falls all from the 10th floor.

If someone looks at your stand or at a clock he's marked for death in 90 seconds, regardless of range. Tempest can take it off or pause the countdown but it's if Tempest wants them dead all the enemy can hope for is to kill her under those 90 seconds, feasible since her stand is average in every category.

"Well, we better clean this up before Suzi arrives. She'll flip on me if she comes out of the salon to smell the stench of mustard gas on her furniture."
"I'll see what I can do." Billy helps his boss sit down on a wooden chair while he searched for some cleaning equipment. "You alright there, sir? Seems like that fight tired you out."
"The fight wasn't that hard, it's probably just the heroin." Joseph replies.
"The what!?" Billy is shocked to hear that his boss' inexistent drug problem.
"Oh No! That's not what it sounds like, let me explain..." Joseph says.

"...And that's what happened." Joseph says while taking a glass of water offered by his employee."
"Well, the list of long term effects of heroin range from decreased organ function to diarrhea, but the effects should go away in 6 to 12 hours." Billy cleaned the real estate's apartment while masking the smell of mustard gas under perfume. "I could hand you over some antidepressants to deal with the withdrawal stage if it's too hard to handle though, this thing ruins your body if you give in."
"Damn, 6-12 hours plus the side effects? We'll see how that goes... How do you know all of that?" Joseph voices his curiosity.
"Ah, had a family member with that sort of problem, don't really want to talk about it." Billy dodged the subject with an apprehensive expression on his face. "Do you really think Suzi will believe that the new janitor simply scrubbed the floor with too much soap?"
"If she believed me when I said I built a cure for Holly's sickness in under 50 days with only a million dollars this won't seem too far out for her." Joseph chuckles.
"Ha! You should have seen Tempest's face when I told her that story!" Billy replaces the broken lampshade with a new one. "Speaking of which, do you think Hermit Purple would be able to help the others out with the next encounters?"

"I guess I could try it out..." Joseph tried using Hermit purple on his TV, but the channels only flickered between Fukushima and Egypt repeatedly.
"Maybe you should try again after the heroin left your body." Billy suggests.
"No, I'm fine. This thing is just really bad at explaining things, I'm sure that I can make sense out of it once the--"
"The blizzards have finally stopped in the city of Morioh! Citizens and tourists alike are finally happy to do their regular activities once again--" The TV suddenly blasts at full volume while mentioning a japanese city not too far from where Kakyoin was studying before Joseph flusteredly muted the volume.
"Well, nevermind..." Joseph shrugs. "Oh, I almost forgot about the bodyguard situation!" Joseph is quick to change the topic.
"What about it sir?" Billy asks.

"When are you recruiting? I know I just asked this today but when you're a millionaire being searched by crazy people with stands Hamon can only do so much." Joseph expressed his worries.
"I'll try to look for people this week. I would have offered myself for the job if I could but I don't look buff enough to be a bodyguard, Rebel Yell be damned." Billy declines.
"Yeah, thought so. You would probably hate to clean this apartment every day if after having to cloud over the smell of mustard gas." Joseph agrees. "I'll miss Roses though, he was starting to develop scoliosis so I thought keeping him around wasn't fair for a guy who dealt with our family for 50 years."
"I had a few talks with him last Christmas, he was a really cool guy." Billy admits.
"It's hard to get intimate with people after reaching your 60s, you know? If your friends are around your age they'll probably be too frail to visit, and if they're younger they'll be too busy with their lives to spent time with an old timer like myself, for some reason Roses never had that problem, he always kept a big social circle despite his age. Not everyone is able to do that, and it's worthy of respect." Joseph smirks despite acknowledging his loneliness.
"Come on boss, no need to get emotional, at least you have Suzi with you when times get rough." The door behind the two opens as Suzi and Tempest opened the door, as if the stand user called forth an ancient casting spell.

"Hey there honey! How was it at the salon?" Joseph asks his wife.
"Meh, pretty noisy as usual." the old lady sits down across his husband for a brief conversation.
"Is this remote control smelling like trash or is it just me?" Tempest picks up the remote control from the ground and keeps staring at it, noticing a foul smell emanating from it.
"What? No? Why are you even smelling remote controls in the first place? Come on, let's get out of here, we have some arrows to track down!" Billy pushes his fiancées to the elevator.
"Have fun kids." Suzi waves goodbye at Billy before closing the door to the apartment.
"What was that all about?" Tempest is clueless about why Billy was acting so strange in front of Suzi.
"Long story, I'll explain it when we get back home." Billy answers after closing the door to the elevator.

Next session will do another small time skip to show Kakyoin's POV before Avdol and/or Pol meet Prince with the arrow. After that I plan on skipping to 1994ish where Pol should start searching for Diavolo and one last session for how much Hitomi will change before finally entering Part 4. I know it might sound like a bummer for those who are hyped for DiU but we'll get there eventually
>>
>>2529352
I'm actually kinda wondering how Hitomi's outfit will change after the timeskip. Before she was just wearing her school uniform, but I'm sure now she'll get a more jojo-like outfit, yeah?
>>

That pic makes me realize how young Hitomi will look in comparison to everyone else in a couple of years because of her rigorous dedication to her Hamon training.

She could always borrow Jotaro's black coat since he's switching for a white one in Morioh. Be the Yin to his Yang and all.
>>2529364
Jotaro looks pretty sharp in later seasons too, pretty sure the only ones who will age badly when Stone Ocean comes around will be Joseph and Avdol.
>>
>>2529403
>rather than wearing a doctors outfit, she took jotaro's coat and modified it a little so that she feels hes right by her while she does her work
>>
>>2529403
Think we should wait until we get Hitomi's stuff together, then we can decide on an outfit
>>
>>2529409
well, this is true too
>>
>>2529403
Will Joseph age badly, if he's still putting in some Hamon practice?
>>
>>2529416
He's still in his 70s, and he won't be hardcore hamon training like Lisa Lisa was to keep up her youthful apperance.

If he keeps up Hamon I'm guessing that by the time part 6 rolls around he might not be wheelchair bound and senile, but he won't be on the frontlines like he was in this part and maybe part 4.
>>
>>2529416
He'll be 79 in DiU and 91 in part 6. Hamon can't keep him young forever, especially since he's only mantaining it now to keep his health in check.
He likely won't be senile in part 4 but he'll start to grow frail by Part 5. Sadly not every old dude can be Stan Lee.
>>
>>2529364
"Growing up" and "growing old" are actually two separate biological processes, so she probably won't look THAT young.
>>
>>2529489
Well, I kind of figured that much. Glad he won't be too senile, at least. Feel's like Hitomi's going to be young forever though, at this rate. Hamon aside, as others have mentioned, Karma Chameleon could do some crazy stuff, if we get good medical training. Could probably slow the aging process even more, though I guess that might not be the best thing. Watching all our friends grow old and die around us would be pretty depressing. Wonder if that's what Thoth meant?
>>
>>2530675
But Karma could also extend the lifespan of her friends if used properly in medical procedures.
It's better than hamon in that regard.
>>
>>2529489
We have !!SIENCE!! at our hands. And a semi-alive Azetc god of fitness. We can fuse his cells with other bodies. How big would be our DC to not fuck it up?

Also don't forget about cloning stuff. We can even clone our friends, so they will never leave us.
>>
>>2529403
What about a black coat similar to a lab coat, with some embellishments for style perhaps? Considering this is JoJo, we can probably get away with it. Maybe some earrings perhaps?

May 5th, 1989.

"Hello?" Jotaro picks up the phone for a nice surprise.
"Hey Jotaro! It's Kak." Kakyoin speaks over a payphone next to a convenience store. "I'm on the workplace but the manager gave me a small lunch break, you have any time to talk?"
"Sure, I'm only studying after Hitomi wakes up from her nap anyways... I honestly think she's pushing herself too hard, even for the first semester. Any news on the stand users?" Jotaro asks.
"Not really, it's been 4 months since Mr. Joestar gave me the heads up but so far I haven't encountered a single stand user in Fukushima. It's getting tiring to be on guard at all times while managing work along with the college assignments, but I can take it." Kakyoin takes a bite of his sashimi. "You know, you've been a lot more eloquent ever since you started dating Hitomi."
"You think so? I haven't really noticed it." Jotaro dismisses the increase in his vocabulary. "Good grief, I guess her attitude is starting to rub off on me. I would put her on the phone but she didn't sleep to well yesterday, might as well let her rest. Anything else you want to talk about?"

"How's it been man?" Kakyoin takes a casual approach to the conversation.
"Just fine. The biology course is rougher than expected, but I still share some classes with Hitomi. If everything goes right we're both graduating at around 1994, how about you?" Jotaro informs.
"I decided to apply for jobs as soon as I moved out from mom and dad's, didn't want to feel like I was leeching their money or anything. Retail jobs are kinda boring but nothing I can't handle." Kakyoin replies.
"I see, what about your classes? Any estimate on when you'll be able to work on your field?"
"I guess I could start doing some intern jobs by the end of the next year. The Game Boy just came out this year and it's a really novel concept for a handheld system, can't wait to get my hands on that thing." Kakyoin voices his excitement. "You still training with Star Platinum?"

"Yeah, Hitomi wants me to keep me in shape so I've been sparring with her when we have the time." Jotaro says.
"Really? I've always wondered who would come on top in a fight between you two..." Kakyoin ponders.
"She can get the advantage a few times with Hamon and Karma Chameleon, but I usually win after freezing time. However she always calls me out on that for cheating."
"Oh, lunch break is over! I'll call you some other time, alright?" Kakyoin checks his watch and decides to hang up the phone.
"Later." Jotaro says goodbye, letting Kakyoin go back to his work.

"Cashier, right... I feel more like an errand boy here." Kakyoin sits down on the chair behind the counter and waits for the customers to arrive. Even if he only has to work from Monday to Thursday, he can't wait to get a job on something from his field.
"That will be 40.000 Yen." Kakyoin tells the short old lady across him.
"Hold on, dear. I want to try out that new shampoo over there." The old lady reaches for a bottle of shampoo on the shelf to her left, but she's too short to grab it with ease.

"Here you go miss." Kakyoin moves over to the shelf and places the shampoo bottle on the old lady's hand.
"Wow, such a gentleman!" The senior hands over the money to Kak and waves goodbye. "Thanks Kakyoin!"
"Wait, how did she know my--" The paranoid Kakyoin Hierophant Green in self defense, until he noticed the picture behind him reading 'Employee of the month: Kakyoin Noriaki.'
"Oh right, I forgot that actually happened last month. Guess all that stand talk with Jotaro made me a bit nervous..." Kakyoin is relieved due to not having to shoot an old lady with his stand.
Aside from that, the day was rather uneventful for the young student, between cleaning the store, serving the customers and contemplating a raise from his boss, it was as average as a day could get for him.

Closing the store and heading to his apartment complex, Kakyoin was annoyed to see a familiar face near him.
"Damn it, not Kenji again..." Kakyoin complains after seeing an obese, drunken man sitting on his doormat. "Now I know why that apartment was cheap, that dumbass keeps getting drunk and embarrassing himself every weekend! It's amazing how they haven't kicked him out yet."
Kakyoin tried his best to avoid his alcoholic neighbor, but seeing how he was blocking the entrance from his house, tonight's confrontation would be inevitable.
"Hey, Kakyoin-- Oof!" Kenji tries to get on his feet, but just ends up falling on his ass. "You got any change to spare?"
"No thanks,I don't wanna go into debt because of your poor life decisions."
"Hey, I wouldn't call wanting to be a sumo wrestler a poor life decision! I have the perfect shape for it!" Kenji gulps down a bottle of sake.
"I've been a fan of sumo wrestling ever since I was a kid, you don't have the diet nor the willpower required to be a professional." Kakyoin dismisses him.
"Oh really? Try to get past me! I dare you!" Kenji crouches as if he was trying to replicate a sumo match he saw on the TV. "If you win you can enter your apartment."

"Kenji, you really should quit drinking and I hope you realize that some day." Kakyoin backs away from his apartment with an upset look on his face.
"Hey! Where are you going?" The drunken man shouts at Kak.
"I'm calling the building trustee! I've had it up to here with you."
"No!" The young man was about to walk down the stairs before a blue spiral of light came flying towards Kakyoin."
"Hm? Emerald Splash!" Kakyoin reacts just in time to deflect the projectile with his own, but when the two attacks meet, the blue light disappeared while Kakyoin's emeralds stayed floating in the air.
"The hell? I've never seen my emeralds acting this way before..." Kakyoin approaches his stand attack to inspect what just happened, but instinctively ducks to the ground after seeing the green jewels flying back to his direction.

"Pretty cool right? I got this ability right on New Year's day! I call it Another Part Of Me, since I never knew I could do this before." An orange sumo wrestler pops from behind Kenji, who waves at Kakyoin's Hierophant Green.
"Really? Out of all the people in the world YOU got to be a stand user and Holly didn't?" Kakyoin complains.
"I got paid by a guy named Prince to beat your ass a while back since I was your neighbor and you wouldn't expect a guy like me to kill you in your sleep, but he gave me so much money in advance that I didn't know what to do! So I just kept drinking and waiting for a good opportunity until I gave up on it, I'd rather keep drinking that risk my life on fisticuffs.
"What does your stand even do?" Kakyoin asks, doubting that he would ever lose to such a pathetic individual.
"Part Of Me can lift things up if they hit by the spirals that come out of his arms. I can lift all of my weight into each arm, combining for a total of... How much do I weigh again?" Kenji scratches his head.
"Cool, now if you'll excuse me I'll be calling the trustee." Kakyoin turns around to so he could get back inside his home.

"Waitwaitwait! Can't we settle this in a match with our stands? I did get paid for that and all..." Kenji asks, still on his sumo stance. "I'll even quit drinking if you win, how about that?"

"Kenji...you sound like you just need some direction in your life. How about I set you up with some people who could help with that? Forget about Prince and--"
"321 GO!" Another Part Of Me gives Hierophant Green a big belly flop, sending Kakyoin flying straight down into the row of stairs.
The poor student tumbled down to the first floor at full speed, twisting his ankle after crashing into the ground.
"Did I win?" Kenji asks after seeing Kakyoin limping his way back into his apartment.
"NO! You didn't even say you were about to start! And you twisted my ankle with that attack of yours!" Kakyoin points his sprained foot.

"Oh don't worry, I think I can fix it." Kenji's stand summons aims his blue spirals onto Kakyoin's right foot, trying to pull his bone back in it's place.
"OW! Stop! That's not how you fix sprained ankl--AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Kakyoin screams after feeling his foot being bent into a 45 degree angle.
"Jeez! Sorry!" Kenji gives up and leaves Kakyoin's foot the way it is, making it even harder for the Hierophant to move. "I guess we're not doing a rematch then?"

"You almost destroyed my foot! How do you want me to crouch down to sumo wrestle!?" Kakyoin shouted, starting to lose his patience with Kenji.
"You can still use your stand right? Hierophant something? Come on! This wouldn't have happened in the first place if you just agreed with me right from the start!"
"Did you even listen to what I had to say before you body slammed me into the stairs?" Kakyoin asks.
"Bits and pieces, but I'll listen again after you accept my challenge!" Kenji summons his stand for a sumo match, marking a small circle between him and Hierophant green.
"Fine! I accept your stupid challenge. You might have the advantage in physical strength, but even with your levitation powers it can't be that hard to push you over a line when you don't even have a full year's experience with stand battles!" Kakyoin flexes his stand and moves inside the circle.

"Ready! GO!" Kakyoin gives a proper announcing for the match to begin, charging an emerald splash right from the get go.
"Ha! Get ready to lose Kakyoin!" Another Part Of Me fires his blue spiral wave with his right arm, which Kakyoin barely manages to dodge by elongating his stand upwards before firing his blast of jewels above Kenji.
"Not so fast!" Kenji uses his stand to grab each individual emerald before it managed to hit him, while Hierophant Green took the opportunity to spread his lower tentacles close to the stand user's feet without him noticing.

"It doesn't come down to who shoots first, but who has the better accuracy!" Kakyoin says, pushing the sumo wrestler to the outer edge of the ''ring'' with his tentacles.
"In that case, I already got you beat!" Kenji smirked as the wooden door from room 302 came flying behind Kakyoin, being controlled by the projectile that APoM missed.
Kakyoin jumped towards the ledge of the apartment to dodge the attack, making the door fly straight into Kenji's face and effecively pushing him out of the ring.
"There!" Using his good foot, Kakyoin prevented his fall from the building by placing his foot in-between the rails, taking the time to entangle Kenji into a big green ball and throwing him at a nearby tree.
...
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Kakyoin groaned while walking back to his apartment on crutches. After calling the ambulance and fixing the door, Kenji stood defeated in another doormat, only this time being the one on his own.
"Hey Kakyoin, I hope you didn't get too upset with tonight." Kenji whispered, a lot more soft spoken now that the alcohol was fading away from his body. "What was that thing you wanted to talk about again?"

>Of course I'm upset! You ruined my day!

Offer to introduce him to the Speedwagon Foundation. But remind him that he needs to clean his act up for real.

I guess if Kakyoin is feeling extremely generous, he could try to help Kenji out with cleaning up his act so that he would be more of an ideal employee for the Speedwagon Foundation. In a sense, Kenji is similar to Kakyoin, but more isolated due to his personal vices which may have led him to make some poor life choices.

"Of course I'm upset! You ruined my day! Do you know how hard it is to withstand a a 9 to 5 job you hate while studying for 6 different classes? I moved out of my hometown where my friends and family lived just to keep studying! Of course you wouldn't know what effort really is when you're spending your 30s drinking yourself to death all day while no one around you gets to sleep! You're lucky Hierophant Green isn't physically strong because if it was I would--"
As Kakyoin ranted about how hard he's had it this year, he stopped himself after realizing the sadness emanating from Kenji's expression. He's likely been aware of all of that when he's sober, giving him all the more reason to drink more and forget his problems, thus turning his life into a vicious cycle.
"I see, I'm sorry you feel that way." Kenji stands up and opens the door to his messy apartment, feeling that Kakyoin's anger hit way too close to home.

"Kenji, hold on." Kakyoin holds the door still before Kenji had the opportunity to lock it. "I'm the one who should apologize for ranting like that... It was a hard day at work and going through all of that when you want to rest doesn't really lift someone's mood. But what I said before was that I could hook you up with some good people. Get you cleaned up, sober, have a decent job, move out of this place if you wanted to."
"Y-You serious?" Kenji turns around, feeling confused after hearing such an offer. "Why?"
"Why not? The Speedwagon Foundation could always use a spare stand user, they're a multimillionaire company that takes care of supernatural events like stands and whatnot, a stand like yours could be very useful to them." Kakyoin explains. "They're an american company so it could be hard to communicate with them properly."
"It's ok, I was an english teacher before my wife left me... Just give me a warning before contacting them and I should be fine." Kenji smiles.
"Sure, but you'll need to get your act together by then." Kakyoin warns.
"I said I would try to quit if you beat me in the match right? Wouldn't hurt to try." Kenji replies, much to Kakyoin's delight.
"We'll see how that goes." Kakyoin waves goodbye, entering his aparment to get the shuteye that he deserved.

>Stand User: Kenji Hisakawa.
>Stand Name: Another Part Of Me.
>Status: Employed.

However after a few weeks of peace and radio silence, a couple of stand users down in Egypt would be the next in line to deal with enemy stand users.
Avdol was growing worried about Polnareff after several stands attacking the other crusaders, however every time the egyptian man would call Pol, he always used the same excuses to not meet up with him in Cairo.
"Uh, yeah. Turns out I have some stuff to take care here, sorry Avdol."
"It's not like we wouldn't be able to beat the stand users on our own, relax!"
"What? I'm not hiding anything! You're just being a big worrywart! I can take care of myself mom!"

Growing tired of his excuses and seeing how the french chariot didn't respond to words, the fortune teller decided to solve the problem with one final decision.

>Avdol convinced Polnareff to meet him in Cairo, excuses be damned!

May 23rd, 1989.

"What is it-- A-A-A-A-AVDOL!?" Polnareff is surprised to see his Egyptian friend visit him so suddenly from across the country. "Why didn't you warn me about the visit? I didn't even have time to clean the house--"
"Cut the chat Polnareff, you're hiding something from me and I want to know what it is." Avdol looks around Polnareff's house.
"You have so little trust in me that you had to travel all the way over here to discover what it was?" The flustered Polnareff argues.
"We can't be too sure about secrets when the rest of our group is being attacked by the same group of stand users in the past few months." Avdol moves over to the living room.

"It's not like I'm hiding a nuclear bomb or anything! Why can't you believe me when I tell you I'm just busy?" Polnareff follows Avdol across Malena's mansion.
"Things are already rough Pol, but if Mr. Joestar had to change his bodyguard for a stand user, you know things are REALLY rough. Besides, if your secret is no big deal you shouldn't have any problems revealing it to me--"
Avdol moves the curtains away to get a better view of the living room, only to see Malena sitting down on a sofa. The egyptian woman was a lot different than when first seen with Polnareff, her previously voluptuous body turned into a plump, round shape signaling the start of a pregnant woman's third trimester of pregnancy.
"Jean, could you grab a glass of water for me, It's getting harder to walk." Malena asks a favour for her husband before turning her attention to the fortune teller. "Oh! Avdol wasn't it? It's a pleasure to see you."
"P-Pleasure's all mine! Come on Polnareff! Let's grab some water in the kitchen." Avdol tugs Polnareff by the shirt and runs to the corridor.
"Well I told you I was trying to keep it a secret. But you just had to come in and ruin the surprise, right?" Polnareff whined while Avdol tried not to shout at him in shock.

"What? You're kidding right? Is this some sort of enemy stand working?" Avdol slowly removes his palms from his face. "Ok, how?"
"Well Avdol, when a man and a woman love each other very much, they have--"
"Alright, that was on me... When?" Avdol asks.
"Around the time we were searching for DIO's mansion." Polnareff replies. "I wasn't expecting a baby either but what am I gonna do?"
"You seriously couldn't use protection then?" Avdol extends his interrogation.
"You think I would go out into the marketplace to buy condoms while an egyptian bombshell like Malena was waiting in bed? At least I owned up to it and married her instead of just running away like some irresponsible fathers do when they find out."

"Wait a minute, you married her and didn't even invite me? What gives?" The offended Avdol moves over to the kitchen with Polnareff.
"It was a really awkward wedding since her parents weren't really into me, Malena's family might be rich but I don't think you and the others would have been comfortable there. I'm also laying low so Prince and his team don't find out about the baby, gotta protect the family now."
"That's awfully smart of you, Pol. I'm surprised! Congratulations on the baby then." Avdol bumps his friend on the shoulder for his mature attitude.
"Thanks, it's gonna feel weird to hear you call me Jean now that Malena and the boy are sharing my last name though." Polnareff chuckles. "Guess that's the small price I gotta pay to live peacefully in Egypt for a bit."

"You'll always be Polnareff to me!" Avdol smiles to his companion. "Have you thought of a name for the kid yet?"
"I think Michel Polnareff rolls off the tongue really well. Malena loved the name too!" Polnareff grins back to the fortune teller.
"Sounds good enough! But I still can't believe you got married before Jotaro, Hitomi's probably going to get upset when she finds out you didn't invite her to the wedding." Avdol calls him out for breaking the promise they had before departing Egypt.
"Eh, I'll give her a few candy sticks when I tell her the news, she will calm down if we give her enough sugar." Polnareff jokes around.

"Yeah right... Anyways, got any news? What have you been up to for the past few months?" Avdol tries to catch things up with Polnareff.
"The Foundation asked me to be their private investigator to help find the other arrows that Prince's team mentioned. I thought they would make me travel a lot for that job, but all I have to do is search and analyze the data on their private computer and connect it to relevant information. All at the comfort of my home!"
"I see, find anything suspicious yet?" Avdol takes a look at the home computer inside Polnareff's room while Pol gave a glass of water to his spouse.
"An unknown source told me there are around 6 stand arrows scattered across the world. since 1 is with us and the other is with Prince, it's probably going to take 3 years to find the other 4, give or take since it's hard to mine for data with limited resources."

"Speaking of arrows, was that arrow always there on your wall?" Avdol points to a golden arrow sticking out of Polnareff's living room wall.
"What? How did that arrow get there? It kinda looks like the stand arrow, doesn't it?" Polnareff questions himself before connecting two and two together. "No... It can't be..."
"This one looks a bit different though, it has a beetle engraved on it." Avdol points it out. "The enemy stand user is here, but why would they place the stand arrow right in front of us like that? Is it bait?"
"Malena, can you walk to the bathroom? Things might get a bit dangerous here..." Pol helps his wife to safety before staring back at the golden arrow.

"The only one who should have the stand arrow is Prince, there's no reason for the arrow to be here unless... Magician's Red!" Avdol summons his fire ward to detect the enemy's presence, however the blazes from his radar start to go haywire as soon as they come in contact with the arrow, circling around it like a mosquito flying towards the light.
"I have a bad feeling about this Avdol..." Polnareff comments while the red bird stand grabs the latter end of the arrow and tries to yank it off the wall, only for it to do a 180 with the house's exterior, sending Avdol and Magician's Red outside of Malena's mansion with in a matter of seconds .
"Avdol! Hold on buddy!" Polnareff runs outside of his home after seeing the enemy stand moving the walls of his house, moving over to the alleyway where the other part of that wall was connected to.

Arriving there, the french stand user was able to witness Avdol with his stand summoned, aiming an attack at a black haired man with a taller, iron golem stand behind him along with a bearded man leaning in a bench, accompanied by a few musicians wearing clothes resembling a parade band.
"Good afternoon, Polnareff. Maybe you can convince your friend over there to drop his fighting stance. I'm just here to talk." The bearded man said, playing with the stand arrow in his hand.
"Are you Prince?" Pol summoned his Silver Chariot to his side.
"Precisely. It took me a long time to figure it out, but I finally got done testing DIO's precious arrow." Prince grinned, happy to be acknowledged by his peers. "My job with this artifact is already done, but handing it out to you two would be too easy, wouldn't it? Especially after all the trouble I went to stall you guys. I figured I could have a talk with you and Avdol before getting down to business. Only then will I know that you're worthy of keeping the arrow."

"It's hard to believe you when your friend over there is just as ready to attack as we are." Avdol scoffs.
"Oh, don't mind Nick, he's just making sure you guys won't make the wrong move." Prince points to his subordinate. "Before any of you attack, I guess I should warn you that Brick In The Wall is more than capable of killing your wife if he wished to do so, Polnareff."
"Prince is not lying. She's right within my range, but he specifically ordered me not to do so just for the sake of a fair fight between both of us." Polnareff is suprised to hear Nick reaffirming Prince's speech.
"You guys aren't fighting some ancient vampire, I'm just a lame archeologist. We can sit down and have a talk before fighting right? The arrow isn't going anywhere, so why the rush?"

Avdol and Polnareff are extremely weary of Prince's casual and eccentric introduction, but decide to go on with it after hearing about Malena's possible hostage situation.
"Ok... What do you want to talk about?" Polnareff sits across from the Prince and Nick, visibly sweating from the underlying tension clouding the air.

If it's people under his control, then I can say with 80% certainty that his stand is named "One of Us".
>>
>>2534077
Araki never really gave an exact date for when Polnareff went to Italy aside from "During the 90s" and he already had the Requiem arrow by then, so I thought of giving it some backstory before sending the guy straight to Epitaph. So yeah, that's the Requiem arrow.
Magician's Requiem might end up happening but only if very specific requirements are met.
>>
>>2534110
So, would I be safe in assuming Brick in the Wall’s owner’s full name is Nick Mason? It’s powers are clearly something to do with masonry or walls. The ability to freely shape them? Or maybe just rotate them on an axis? Hmmm.
>>
>>2534165
You got his name and the concept right, but his ability goes considerably beyond rotation of walls.
>>
>>2534316
Yeah, figured that was a little limited in scope. Well, we should avoid any walls or enclosed spaces while fighting him, anyways. Preferably any sort of brick or stone in general really, to be safe. And then there’s Prince. Are the band members actually human, or are they a Stand? I’d imagine we’d be able to tell the difference.

"Ok... What do you want to talk about?" Polnareff questions the intentions of his foe.
"It's only fair I give you some perspective on my mission and how this arrow changed my life for the better." Prince fiddles around with the golden beetle arrow. "You see, while DIO had defeating the Joestar group as his primary goal, I would merely consider it secondary. What I have in mind is a lot more interesting than killing some nobodies I don't like, despite that being what I was previously sent out to do."
"Really? Humour me?" Avdol asks, feeling intrigued by what goals Prince had in mind.
"The reason I rebelled against DIO was because Enya was stupid enough to tell us about how Jotaro and Hitomi were pummeling through DIO's minions like they were a joke. Since DIO didn't have the time to implant flesh buds on any of us, we figured the smartest decision was to abandon ship behind their back before things turned sour. However Nick's stand managed to loot the arrow from inside Enya's hideout. We were afraid the vampire would chase after us, but thankfully you all took care of that for us."
"We didn't think the arrow would be useful since we already had a stand, but Prince and I thought about running some tests with it on regular humans to see what happened to them when pierced by the arrow." Prince's assistant adds. "The material composing the arrow is unlike any other we've seen before, a simple scraping of the tip is enough to decide if a person is worthy of being a stand user or not, and according to our estimates the chances of awakening a stand inside them is of 5%."

"That means 1 out of every 20 people could be a potential stand user, that's incredible! The line between regular citizens and stand users would finally meet if we could turn them all into stand users! We wouldn't have to suffer in secrecy due to hiding such an amazing ability." Prince continues. "We would be able to create a true Stand Utopia where we could live above non-stand users! The enlightenment brought by being a guardian of this arrow was truly a blessing! We shouldn't waste this opportunity when it's right on our hands!"

"Where are those stand users now?" Avdol asks.
"Please Avdol, not every stand user in the planet is out to get you. We tested it on several people across these 6 months: Shop owners, truck drivers, homeless people and whoever else was in our way. We didn't recruit them just because they managed to survive the test. We simply let them go on with their lives after proving to us they were worth living."
"Worth living? What did you do when the person didn't get a stand after being stabbed then?" Polnareff interrupted.
"Since your stand is an extension of your soul, failing to activate a stand means your soul is too weak to physically manifest, therefore being destroyed by the arrow." Nick answered.
"And how many people have you killed with the arrow?"
"Do you know how many breads have you eaten in your life?" Prince smirked after seeing Avdol and Pol flinch from the response. "What does it matter? If they are too weak to withstand a simple stab wound, they're not worthy of knowing the world of stand users."

"So your plan is to just go around shooting Earth's entire population to justify your plan?" Polnareff snapped.
"Not exactly, stand users are naturally attracted to each other, be it Joseph with DIO, Jotaro with Hitomi or you and Avdol. Those who are worthy will come to me on their own volition. Nothing will need to be forced once I establish myself as the guardian of the arrow. My Utopia will be a very just and balanced place to live regardless of abilities since stand users can't get two stands from the arrow anyway, nothing happens when one of us tries to get stabbed by the arrow a second time other than some weird flash of light coming from the wound, I've tried it myself, they will all be equally unique under my command. The beauty of a stand will be fully appreciated if everyone around them is able to see what it's capable of, wouldn't you agree?" Prince says.
"It doesn't matter how many people die from the arrow. As long as we establish that stands are the next step for humanity's advancements, our plan should come to fruition." Nick concludes.

>I won't let that happen.
>That's a pretty big leap in your logic.
>Do you really think this will work in execution?
>Why send people out to attack us if you want to make a peaceful utopia?
>Attack Prince.
>Attack Nick.
>Write-in.
>>
>>2537114
>Do you really think this will work in execution?
I mean, Its a nice goal, in a certain sense, aside from the megalomania, but people, in essence, are greedy. There will always be people who want to inch out just a little bit above the rest, and stands are not created equal. You make this, that society would collapse just like that.Someone would have stand to take away or steal stands, or have something like reversing time, or kill anyone they want without needing to do anything. It's just not feasible.

I'm not sure if we should attack or not yet.
>>
>>2537114
>Why send people out to attack us if you want to make a peaceful utopia?

"Do you really think your plan will work in execution? 1 in 20 means only 350 million people would be left after. Hardly viable to keep worldwide societies running." Polnareff points out.
"That's where you're mistaken, Pol-Pol. Brick In The Wall will be able to monitor the cities from afar, while my stand Parade would be able to control the misbehaving population. It might sound intrusive, but I am ready to deal with rebellions."
"How can you be so sure? If you had to attack us in the name of your peaceful utopia that means your plan is already flawed to begin with." Avdol argues against Prince.
"Don't you know the 6 steps in testing out a scientific method? Ask a question, research, formulate your hypothesis, conduct your study, draw conclusions and report the results." Nick explains. "To know if we are truly capable of making our stand utopia a reality, Prince and I need to be prepared to fight against the strongest stand users possible. Drawing conclusions is the final step for a reason."

"And what better way to test this out than fighting against the strongest stand group yet?" Prince stands up from his bench, with his band members following him. "Think about it Polnareff, us stand users are destined to thrive after a great amount of suffering, you lost your sister to J. Geil and Avdol lost his family to DIO, but look at where you are now! Egypt is thriving from it's tourism while you settle down with the love of your life! If anything this should motivate me to prove how the ends are fated to justify the means!" Prince rests his case, but the silence he received in response was enough for him to get the picture.
"It seems the beauty of my plan has fallen on deaf ears. Very well then, It's time to see if I really am capable of maintaining my status as the guardian of the stand arrow. Will I prevail? Or will the Chariot and the Magician trump me and Nick to revoke my place?" Prince questioned himself.
"Regardless, they're still at a disadvantage, we might as well let them make the first move." Nick stretches his arms, inviting Avdol and Pol to come at him.

>Attack Nick and Brick in The Wall.

>>
>>2537266
This is a tough choice. We can't exactly fight them because hostages, and I'm not sure if they're supposed honor will Trump that.

So, it's probably best to try to lead them out of the city. He mentioned that it had a range, and since they were nearby, we need to push them OUT of that range, to somewhere with no hostages. I just don't know how with the stands we have.
>>
>>2537266
>Advol: make to attack both users with a wide area flame attack as a distraction.
>Pol:Remove Silver Chariot's armor to increase his speed.
Then
>Attack Nick and Brick in The Wall.

We need to neutralise Nick fast to protect Melena. Having Advol chuck flames everywhere might keep them from realising we're targetting Nick specifically.
>>
>>2537266
>Remove Silver Chariot's armor to increase his speed.
>Have chariot create afterimages, while Avdol turns up the heat to make a sweltering haze in the area. While they think we're preparing for a disorienting joint attack...chariot goes, at max speed, to save his family. While this happens, Magician's Red uses crossfire hurricane at Nick and Brick in the Wall.
>>
>>2537304
Ah, thats an idea too, take them out of range rather than move the stand users out of range.
>>
>>2537304
Switching to this, why not
>>
>>2537266
Use the Joestar Family Secret Technique!

If Brick in the Wall can control walls, we need to get away from walls.

Wait, but Malena's in range of Nick. We need to get her clear first. If we just run, they won't chase since they have a hostage. So running should be at least the third step. Hmm..

>Avdol could fake targeting the arrow with his flames. With his level of control, he could choose not to destroy it even while engulfing it in flames. But why not destroy it? Because they need it enough that they'll leave themselves open to protect it. That arrow is their weakness! Feint an attack with it as your target, then you can burn them!
>>
>>2537304

"Silver Chariot!" Polnareff sheds his armor in order to surpass his already astounding velocity, his afterimages circling around both his enemies.
"Crossfire Hurricane!" Avdol conjures up a fire wall to block Prince and Nick's vision, hoping to distract the two in order for Polnareff to make his move.
"I gotta run back home! Cant let these assholes go after Malena--"
*TOOOOOOOOOOT!*

The sour note from a flute is heard from one of Parade's players, each of them packing several wind and chord instruments . The ear piercing noise suddenly halted the incredibly fast Chariot on his feet, leaving him still on the ground as the band started to play their song.
"Polnareff! What did I tell you? My fight is with you, not with a woman who can't even defend herself. You made a grave mistake in not attacking me when you could." Prince smirked.
"What--have--you--done--to me?" Polnareff barely manages to speak while the melody from Parade makes him convulse on the ground.
"Parade's ability is to control a person's movements by playing different notes across all of their instruments. While it can only target one person at a time, it can control everything, from the side you're facing to the hair on your pompadour!" Parade keeps going with it's music, furthering the intensity Polnareff and his stand's epilepsy.
"Allow me to help!" Brick In the Wall jumps in and punches the fragile Chariot on the ground with it's giant metal gauntlets, breaking several of Pol's ribs while he puked blood from his mouth.
"POLNAREFF!" Avdol panicked after seeing his ally being mortally wounded. "They're going to crush his organs if they keep this up! He doesn't even have time to scream before Parade controls his body!"
"It seems this fight was over before it could even begin. Turns out a soon to be family man can't be the guardian of the arrow. DIE, POLNAREFF!" Nick arches his fists back, preparing to crush Polnareff's torso.

This schmuck’s planning on controlling a Stand User population of some 350 million people with a Stand like that? DIO could kill this guy easily, and he thinks there aren’t going to be stronger Stand Users then DIO if he gives 350 million people Stands? A baby could figure out that’s not going to work. That aside, the logistics would be staggering. They’d literally both die of old age before they could get every single person in the world to touch the Stand Arrow, even if they got a person every second on started now. And even then there’s people constantly being born. It just wouldn’t work.

"Nick! Watch out!" Prince warns as Polnareff shoots the blade from his rapier into the walls, making them ricochet their way to the bearded man's neck. Despite hopping to the side to render Silver Chariot's strategy useless, Magician's Red was more than ready to pin him down.
"Crossfire Hurricane!" The flames from Avdol's stand set Prince on fire from head to toe, with Avdol's anger being manifested into the third and fourth degree burns on Prince's body, making him fall to the ground before screaming in agony.
"PRINCE!" Brick In the Wall ceased his onslaught on Polnareff to leap in Avdol's direction, saving the Frenchman as he crawled away from the fight.
"Magician's Red!" Avdol tries to burn the stand user behind the golem, but no matter how high the temperature on Brick In The Wall was turned up to, it didn't do much else than anger Nick.

"You won't get away with this!" The iron stand gives both Avdol and his stand a powerful shoulder bash, making the fortune teller stumble straight into a stone wall which came crumbling onto his unsuspecting body.
"Brick in The Wall can control any construction pinned to the ground made by mankind within a range of 50 meters... Even if you escape his physical attacks, you're still screwed..." Prince lifts his head to talk to Avdol, moving over to catch Polnareff's fallen rapier while tanking Magician's blazes.
"Polnareff is too wounded to fight back, and now that his sword is gone, I doubt he would survive a 50 meter fall from a sinkhole... After all, he's crawling right into a surfaced road..." The ground around Pol starts to shake, similarly to an earthquake as the road starts to crack like a melting iceberg.
"What are you going to do Avdol? You won't be able to save Polnareff if I activate Parade on you, and I doubt he can hold onto something before he falls."Prince grins. Sure, you can try to kill me before that happens, but then Nick will just finish you off along with Polnareff. If you're not able to do neither of those, I'll be happy to announce my victory!"

>Try to kill Prince and save Polnareff.
>Try to kill Prince, grab the arrow and save Polnareff.

Would it be possible to use Crossfire Hurricane to blow a hole under them? They probably can't survive a 50 meter fall either. Of course, Nick could just fix that, and it wouldn't take either of them out. But maybe it would distract them?

Either way, Magician's Red can melt steel beams faster than Star Platinum can throw them at close range. Targeting Brick in the Wall directly is a bad idea since he can take it. But melting a stone wall should be relatively easy.

Which means Nick trying to finish us off won't work if he can only use his ability on us. So we just have to be out of range of Nick's punchghost itself, not its ability.

We also have Red Bind. We can probably use it to create a handhold if we decide falling is a good idea, but with Prince active it won't work.

Will Parade work on us if we can't hear it?

We don't *need* to kill Prince yet. We just need his ability out of the way, and killing him's a good way to do that. But it's also the way he's expecting, which means he probably has a counter. So let's bait him into using said counter, then attack the root of the problem instead.

"CROSSFIRE!" Avdol flared up the parade band with his flames, making Prince finally go out from his wounds while the propulsion of a well timed stand leap made Avdol reach Polnareff's hand right before the sinkhole sent him underground.
"Red Bind! Hang in there Polnareff!" Avdol used his rope of fire to lass Polnareff around the hip and pull him up from the abyss.
"Hold it! I won't let you two escape after what you did to Prince!" Nick furiously shouts as his stand approached the duo. "You will perish today, Jean Pierre Polnareff!"

Feeling useless throughout the entire battle, Pol boldly spits his blood inside Nick's eyes, figuring that he should at least give Avdol some advantage if he can't attack with his saber.
"Good aim Polnareff! Guess ricocheting that sword of yours so many times might have honed your accuracy!" Avdol quips before placing his friend in a spot where Brick In The Wall wouldn't be able to repeat his technique.
"Since we're not able to properly damage the stand, It's time to change the focus to the user himself!" Avdol conjured up a trail of fire to restrict his foe from escaping. "End of the line Nick, your stand can only get you so far if you're the one who's wide open."
"Trying to win by starting a war of attrition? I see how it is... I'll warn you that if you do show up from these flames, Brick In The Wall will crush your head in!" Nick screams an empty threat at the Egyptian man.
"Is that so? That didn't really work out for Prince, but let's see if you have what it takes to strike Magician's Red." Avdol prepares to attack the remaining stand user:

>From the left, closer to the stand arrow.
>From the right, closer to Polnareff's rapier.

"There you are!" Brick In The Wall tries to squash Avdol before he could try anything funny, but Magician's Red slides under the golem's fist to knee the user right under his chin, bursting Nick into a fiery explosion.
"Of course... How could I have been so blind..." Prince's faint voice is heard as the smoke dissipates. "Muhammad Avdol, you were the guardian of the arrow all along..."
"You're still alive? And what the hell are you talking about?" Avdol moves to the dying man near him.
"No one from my team was able to defeat the Joestar Group, but the fact that you managed to defeat the two of us almost entirely by yourself made things clearer..." The delusional Prince says with his dying breath. "I admit defeat... But my role to protect the arrow has been passed down to you. Even with DIO's death, he still left a lot to uncover...Between all the people he bribed mixed with the opportunities he gave, I doubt his legacy died with him, he will probably haunt all of you for the rest of your lives... But with this arrow, I can at least say that I left something behind for this world to see, use this arrow wisely Avdol, use it to make the world a better place for stand users..."
And with that, Prince finally closed his eyes shut, his body going limp on the bench he was first found in.

"Did you get him?" Polnareff crawls to Avdol's location, blood still pouring from his body.
"Pol you idiot! Stop moving so much" the store clerk grabbed his friend with both his hands.
"Thanks for checking up on me, Avdol... Sorry for being so dependent..." Polnareff chuckles before closing his eyes, similarly to Prince.
"Polnareff! Don't you die on me damn it! POLNAREFF!" Avdol shakes him awake.
"You know... Just because I closed my eyes and groaned doesn't mean you get to mess up my insides like that..." Polnareff complained. "Just call the ambulance already you dick..."
Relieved to see the young father ok, Avdol replied with a content "Will do." Leaving Pol on his stand so he could look for a payphone.

After such a vicious fight, it was only fair for you and your friends to get some rest for a few years. 5 to be exact, given all that happened in 1988 through 1989 5 years of peace before a tragic event was exactly what you needed to get your life together.
Yes, the Hitomi Furuya from back in the day would have never expected to look so good in her 20s, but that's besides the point. A lot has happened in these 5 years: The end of the Cold War, Jean Pierre Polnareff's son Michel being born, and Kakyoin finally getting some work assignments at a game company, granted you doubt you would ever play a game called "Megaman X and X2", but you were happy for him nonetheless, even if he wasn't the lead developer for the game and moved on to other projects for a different company. In a field like his it's important to get some recognition before starting your own game.
You eventually graduated from your university, deciding to follow your career as a:

This is the hardest decision I've ever made, Dust.
Tell me if I'm right or wrong here:
Biologist obviously has the broadest knowledge of all biological functions, not limited to human ones.
Surgeon has in-depth medical knowledge, but focuses heavily on techniques to fix what's wrong with a human body, manually.
Nurse has general human medical knowledge, and requires the least time investment.
Doctor has a greater medical knowledge, broader than a surgeon's but more in-depth than a nurse's.
Scientist has a broad knowledge of far more than biological function, and includes things such as physics, chemistry, and possibly other things.

You decided to pick the choice you were most comfortable with: A doctor.
Sure, you dreamed of being a surgeon as a teenager, but you figured the broader knowledge would make you more productive in your field than simply knowing a lot from the human body, especially with a stand like yours.
Still, being so active at the age of 24 is great for someone like you. Toppled with Joseph's contacts giving you a hand, you were open for a lot of jobs and assignments, while the amount of freedom of choice was overwhelming at first, you managed to get your head together to work on a few places here and there to start off on the right foot by working:

>Choose 2 from the options below:
>In a clinic, pretty average work but the pay was exceptional.
>For the Speedwagon Foundation, giving you some knowledge on supernatural occurances while keeping you updated with several other fields.

Anything we'd want to research would be in the speedwagon foundation anyway, so those two go hand in hand. We wouldn't have as much time as a private work project, but being in constant contact should at least speed it along.

She absolutely needs this. If not for the bonus to accuracy, but because theres going to be a lot of trouble on the horizon, and field experience in troubled conditions is a must.

Well, depends on if she does speedwagon stuff first or decides to wait a bit before galavanting across the world doing field work. I think hitomi would be reasonable enough to wait until her daughter was born and old enough not to cause issues before she went off around the world.
>>
>>2538801
She was born in 1992. we can still have Jolyne at the right time.
But she'd be 7 when part 4 happens. So If Hitmoe goes, she'd be alone for a bit.

What better way to stay sharp and get a reputation than with the Speedwagon Foundation? With them you could always work with top of the line technology and get to know the latest news from other fields since the company was full of secret projects, with individual teams focused on biology, engineering and medical necessities. Keeping a tab on Polnareff's research for the arrows was a nice bonus too.
Aside from that, you also had to travel around a lot for business trips. With the Rwandan Civil War happening from 1990 to 1994, several talented doctors were hired to help the chaotic african country in need, with the Speedwagon Foundation reccomending you to work briefely on it for an internship. While that meant you had to spent most of your time running between military outposts and seeing a lot of gore and violence to which the human eye probably wasn't meant to see, you came out Rwanda a lot wiser due to the experience, exhausted and unable to sleep for several months, but wiser.
Sadly, while you managed to get your name across and develop yourself as a professional, that obviously compromised your relationship with Jotaro.

Now don't get me wrong, Jotaro was always supportive of you and your job(s) and you always did the same for him when you were studying, but things started to hit a rough spot around your 2nd year with him. You started to grow apart when you didn't have any classes together and the free time between you two dwindled significantly with the job offers.
Sure, you wouldn't call Jotaro the ideal boyfriend for every girl, but he was great for you. Between developing his speech until he was less socially awkward, to fighting day after day with him on stand matches, to the passionate nights you spent laying beside him, Jotaro was probably as good as both of you would ever going to get.
He didn't had to say it, but you knew he missed you a lot, he just didn't want to say it to hold you back on your dreams. And the same went for you with his course on marine biology.
That eventually culminated on the night after you came back from your trip to Rwanda in 1992. It was around 4 in the morning but neither of you managed to get any sleep, only being able to meet your loved one twice a month was hard enough, but having him leave for over half a year was just too cruel.
"Hitomi... Do you wanna keep this going? I don't want to be rude, but it's getting harder to keep all of this up..." Jotaro mentioned the state of your relationship, hurt from the mising contact between you and him. "I understand that you need to follow your career, but as selfish as this sounds, I don't think this can continue as it is."
To which you replied:

>"Of course I do." as hard as things were, you still loved Jotaro in the end.
>"No, sorry." it was very hard to break up with him, but deep down you knew he was right.
>>
>>2538944
No, I guess not. But this >>2538936 idea sounds better. We get some valuable experience without being completely absent for Jolyne's formative years. Hopefully our Potato has become open enough because of us that our daughter has a better relationship with him than the canon one.
>>
>>2538976
>"Of course I do." as hard as things were, you still loved Jotaro in the end.
Doing the compromise might be our only choice at this juncture. I don't want to lose jotaro just cause we tried too hard to be better. While working at the speedwagon foundation, we can ask them to send any patients to us, hoefully that will help at least a little bit on top of what we already have...

Since we've got the basic surgery skills down I guess we can cut down on the surgery aspect - no extended (months on end) foreign tours for us, just local / Speedwagon foundation sent patients to keep our skills sharp.

You started crying the moment he finished his sentence. Of course you wanted to stay with him, but deciding between your career and your lover was next to impossible, you felt like there was no right answer! As much you wanted to hold him tight and not let go when you two slept together, you knew that eventually someone would have to get out of bed.
You loved Jotaro like no one else before, if you defeated a time stopping vampire together why was something as normal as staying together was so hard to do? All you wanted was more time to spend with him...
Thankfully as if heaven itself heard you that evening, a surprise came down the line a few weeks after your sobbing breakdown with Jotaro: You had a daughter coming by the end of the year.
Your initial reaction was to panic, especially since that meant putting a stop to all your works and studies for at least 7 months plus maternity leave, but after the thought of a long staycation with Jotaro and your daughter, you decided you and Jotaro could use a break from all the stress and stay together for at least a year or two.
Although Jotaro was shocked to hear at first, both your families loved to hear the news, especially Holly since she gave his son the ownership to her house and set up the wedding for you two, which unlike some stingy Frenchman living in Egypt, you decided to invite all of your friends and acquaintances from throughout the years.

Fast forwarding to the end of the year, you were finally able to see your newborn daughter sleeping peacefully on the baby nursery. It's a miracle how much of a fusion she was between Jotaro and yourself: His eyes, but your facial structure, his hair, but your ears. There was truly no doubt about it that your child was the main reason your love with Jotaro was rekindled. For two entire years, you were able to raise your daughter while staying home with your husband, you might have felt guilty for going MIA on your career for a few years, but the memories little Jolyne gave you will be forever cherished in your heart, and that's what mattered the most to both of you.
That's right. Jolyne Kujo was her name... Jotaro said his family had a running theme of naming their kids with the initials Jo so he thought it would be cool to keep the tradition. You agreed, but said you were naming the next kid if you decided two give her a brother or sister. Regardless of that, for two entire years, you lived the happiest moments of your life.

Sadly, all things must come to an end. In November of 1994, Polnareff called everyone from the old team to give the following warning.
"Hey, I managed to pin down the location of the remaining arrows. There's 1 in Japan and one in American, but the one in Italy is the one I gathered the most information about, turns out the reason the crime rate in Europe skyrocketed since 1986 is due to a mafia gang around Rome running some errands with a stand creating arrow. You think you could give me a hand with that?"

I dunno. This is a tough decision. Whatever we decide, I say try for another vhild before leaving, however. Life is short, make the most of it.
Between the two of us, who knows Italian better? We worked as a doctor traveling, so we probably picked up a thing or two...
Either Jotaro goes or we both go. If he goes, we can stay and research, while if the both of us go, it'll be easier to deal with. But there are just so many stands and Jolyene was just born...
I almost want to reject it entirely, but this ok is one of those things that has to be done.

Seeing how dangerous the situation really was, you both agreed on aiding Polnareff against the Italian mafia. If the movies are anything to go by there's nothing stronger than organized crime, and that's by non-stand user standards.
However you also considered that sending Jolyne on a life or death mission was a terrible, stupid, irresponsible and disastrous idea. A babysitter certainly would be nice, but you couldn't trust anyone with your 2 year old daughter, someone had to be fit for the job.
"What do you mean you want me to take care of her? I've never had a kid before Hitomi!" Kakyoin panicked after you handed him your kid.
"Well, and you won't have one with that attitude. Just go through the list and you should be fine!" You chucked a giant notepad at him, chock full of the dos and dont's to take care of Jolyne for a newbie like Kakyoin. "Have fun sweetie! We'll be back in a week!"
"I don't know Italian, should I be worried?" Jotaro nervously asked.
"I already have a hard time juggling Japanese, French, English and Swahili. Polnareff can take it from here." You shrugged as you packed up your things to meet with Polnareff in an italian hotel.

Little did you know that you were in for one of the biggest fights in history, to which honestly no amount of preparedness could ever make you see any of it coming beforehand...

>>
>>2539465
>return of Kars event
We need to become ultimate lifeform before this.
>>
>>2539467
Well, time stop is pretty powerful. We never see it used against King Crimson at all, unfortunately, but I imagine that even with epitaph, it'd just look like Jotaro was teleporting to him, since he's traversing space in what is technically an instant. He might be able to erase the time in which that frozen instance occurs, but even then Jotaro would have moved to where he intended to be, making it exceptionally hard to deal with compared to a normal individual affected by the skip. Basically, I think that if Jotaro attacked Diavolo during timestop, he wouldn't be able to tell exactly how he was attacked, just that he was attacked. Skipping gives him a good defense against it, but Star Platinum is extremely formidable even without stopping time, so he might have a pretty hard time dealing with Jotaro. And then he has to contend with two other people, both of them extremely seasoned fighter as well. And if Hitomi gets an absorption off on Crimson, well, he's pretty much fucked there I'd say.
>>
>>2539465
Yeah Jorge Joestar is a fucking hot mess.

I have an idea of how Star Platinum will clash with King Crimson. Despite the physical advantages the three of them have against Diavolo Epitaph is just too damn broken to defeat him conventionally. Taking that into consideration instead of rolling to pass the DC to hit Diavolo, rolling against erased time is probably going to be a case of "See how fucked you are."
>>
>>2539566
It seems pretty logical to me that it'd interact in that way.
>>
>>2539586
Quest Mechanics wise how would Epitaph and Time Erasure even function? Will it cancel out our highest roll? Take out crits? Deactivate Under pressure? etc?
>>
>>2539586
I think you overrate King Crimson a bit. I mean, we do have time bullshit on our side. And under pressure.
Under pressure can beat anything.
>>
>>2539605
>Attack KC like normal.
I mean you can roll, but since Epitaph is able to ignore/erase your success which may result in death/crippling blows.
>Hitting Diavolo in stopped time.
Hard but feasible, failing is gonna suck though.
>Using the arrow.
It's the easiest and safest route but if you have to resort to that chances are you're already pretty screwed by the time Hitomi figures it out. Unless hardass crits are on her side.

Part 5's gang was one of the strongest comps in JoJo and they still had to rely on 2 requiem stands after losing half their cast. It's going to be an unfair fight.
>>
>>2539778
Speaking of requiem stands, how powerfull would Karma Chameleon Requiem be?
>>
i'm sure this sounds dumb but uh... IF you can figure out what king crimson's power is, don't you just need a sufficiently long lasting attack? So he can delete ten seconds of time: fire a machine gun for 11 seconds.
>>
>>2539817
Yes, but he can also move within the erased time, so it needs to be both long-lasting and have a wide area of effect that he can't escape.
>>
>>2539791
>Karma Requiem
>Its ability to convert matter is strengthened considerably, and the range of things it can take the form of expands - any state of matter is now viable, and the rate of conversion is extraordinary.
>In addition, it now wields the ability to alter 'fate' based upon one's 'karma'. To alter the fate of a saint to bring them harm would be a tall feat indeed, but for the wicked it would be exceptionally easy. Similarly, sparing those with an excess of negative karma from harm would be difficult, while directing harm away from good people would be simple.
That might not (probably won't) be it, but I still find it neat.

I just hope that whatever Karma Requiem's ability is, it has to do with Karma.
>>
>>2539817

I also wonder if Diavolo can just be taken off-guard by a certain attack and not be able to predict it, and thus not occur to him to use his stand to cut out time until it's too late?
>>
>>2539836
So a flamethrower will suffice.
>>2539842
You are forgetting Chamelion part. So we can switch our own fate to the fate of the others.
>>
>>2539850
Ah, so you want the "no u" power.
Well, it worked in bleach...
>>
>>2539836
yeah that's restrictive but it still moves things from "Unbeatable bullshit without your OWN ridiculous bullshit" to "you need an uncommon but not necessarily UNUSUAL niche"
Kakyoin or avdol could probably beat him, it's just Jojo protagonists tend to have Punchghosts and King Crimson is the world's most Punchghost-proof Punchghost.
>>
>>2539850
I was thinking more along the lines of carpet bombing.
>>
>>2539854
Nah I am more for turning Hitomi into an ultimate Being. So we can be almost indestructible.
>>2539859
Why not nukes then?
>>
>>2539842
>>2539864

I had a crazy idea for KC requiem or some sort of asspull power if Hitomi's imminent death is about to occur.

It'd basically reincarnate her into a different person at a random time and place, but circumstances would occur that would lead to her regaining her memories and her Stand and eventually making her way back to the exact time and date where her previous incarnation died. Cue Hitomi coincidentally reincarnating as a contemporary of the Pillarmen trio.

Couldn't really figure out a way to make it tie into the whole "Karma Chameleon" thing without stretching definitions though.

If I'm remembering right, Ephitaph can only see about ten seconds into the future, so you'd need something like a poison that takes more than ten seconds to react after it's in him, served in a nonthreatening way that he won't erase. But all of this is pretty much for naught if we can't figure out King Crimson and, more importantly, survive our first encounter with Diavolo.

>>2539864
Joseph likes us, but I don't think he'll let the Speedwagon Foundation let us nuke Italy.
>>
>>2539875
Stand powerups (from the arrows not from Evolving) are FREQUENTLY only tangentially related so... No worries?
>>
>>2539876
As long as we can find a SMALL amount of a fissile material (old nuclear glow in the dark watch) and practice only turning the bare minimum of karma chameleon into a material, we don't exactly need him to LET us.
>>
>>2539895
We can also with the Stand stealing route.
Also makes me think hos would King Crimson interact with Killer Queen? Will they make little Murder Prince and Red Princess?

>"APoM knocked Kakyoin down the aparment, causing the teenager to snap his neck on the free fall."
I honestly would have laughed pretty hard if Kak survived DIO just to die at the hands of a drunken man with a sumo stand
>>
>>2540699
That's nearly on the level of "and then he died of a cold."
>>
>>2540699
How is the drunk bastard doing, by the way
Will he show up in italy on assignment?

Kenji's in New York taking care of Joseph and Suzi. The Hamon user had to do some surgery to treat his cataracts so it might be hard for the butler to leave his boss, Joseph won't be joining either for this exact reason. It's only fair to be prepared against Diavolo so I'll make a list of all the availabe stand users for you guys to pick one more fighter.
>>
>>2540814
I'm actually really worried about facing off against him this early. DIO I was more confident about than him. We might actually get a complete party wipe here...
>>
>>2540814
I am thinking about avdol but leaving the arrow alone might be a bad idea
>>
>>2540821
Could do to the arrow what we did to the book. Convert it to some other material or place it inside some kind of jello and then convert the entire thing over to something, so that no one other than us could get to it.
>>
>>2540814
...In all honesty, there's two stands in particular that could be really, really useful against diavolo.
Rebel Yell and Final Countdown.
Final countdown is especially bullshit because the timer should still go down when time is skipped, and the actual moment it goes off can be delayed if she wants it to - she can easily wait until after a skip to turn it on.
Rebel yell is one of those things that should have a persistent and constant effect after it gets turned on, so skipping time won't be useful if it gets used too. I'm not positive, but I'm betting it can spam its ability quicker than time skip, too. And once the ability lands, skipping time will be far less effective for diavolo since he'll be extremely disoriented as he moves around in that skipped time.
>>
>>2540814
I guess I could elaborate a bit further just for the fun of it.
Kakyoin helped him get clean before taking the job which made them best friends while Kenji was still in Japan. Since Kakyoin was never a social butterfly himself the teacher also gave him some support when Kak was down about something like being scammed by a western developer or when he complained about being single. Ironically that meant Kakyoin grew a taste for alcohol.

Nice it's not Golden Wind but I'll probably download it. I was always lowkey waiting for part 5 to be announced while I was QMing this story, but Captain Tsubasa crushed the hopes of that ever happening. Guess we'll just have to stick with Rohan until that anime ends.
