A colony ship is sent out from earth to settle a new planet. An industrialist decides to have the leaders of the expedition including himself turned into AI along the journey. The ship gets knocked off course and encounters one catastrophe after another. Eventually starting to break apart. Everyone fled into either one of the four survival decks and dislodged themselves from the main hull.

You are The Priest, a religious ruler that was transformed against his will. You wake up to find that 300 years had passed since crash landing, the countless millions of Terran colonists have been reduced in population drastically and suffered technological degradation, and the planet they live on is inhabited with various fantasy races that don't take kindly to their "Invasion".

Previously, we had a few squads fight in the ruins of the city of New London. There they fought several factions and met the Alistarii Warpath, a brutal army sweeping in from the south to take over the ruins of Alistair, as well as cyborg zombies. We also learned that the rogue dwarves are led by a human woman. We have a Diplomat of Pruzsia and the spellsword Heinrich in our city in their own embassy.

The knights are currently on the hunt for a Sorcerer that merges the bodies of the dead with mechanical bits to make more powerful minions.

The Silver wolves are maintaining radio silence.

The glade elves have finally established a waystone link towards us. Unfortunately, the link has to be connected via signal, so multiple way stones were required to set up on the way, much like radio towers. The ruins the stones are established in, however, are now primed up for resettlement. And the transfer of medical supplies, equipment and personnel from the Glade Elves have greatly sped up the process of screening and curing the refugees.

The Kerogrim are still facing staunch resistance and need more support.

The helfreyan sisters have discovered a hidden doomsday-prepper stache of tools and weapons.

And the Pruzsic diplomat is now asking for what they will be trading for specifically.

The gremlin salespeople are making money selling various commodities.

Oh neat. You're back.
>>2584430 dang OP. That's a lot of weapons that paladins got there.

Gonna say this. Maybe it's not a good idea for build a waystone gate connecting our domain to their. You know. I case they decide they or some other faction within their republic wants to fight us....my fears are probably misguided.

>The Mass
I'll put 10 down into prosperity and 4 into enlightenment.

>Construction
I'll put 17 into Construct and improve the manufacturing buildings and 9 into Construct Churches, Town Halls, And Law Enforcement facilities in the outer villages. I think people are smart enough and have the common sense now to not do anything dangerous.

>"Social Focus: Amberfall"
So how does this work again? I don't know just put me down for 14 in Vaccination.

>Army
If we can set up that meeting with that one dwarf we have in captivity (he's a good sport for not complaining) that'd be grand. Between the Sorcerer and the Refugees, I'll focus finding more refugees.

>>2586171
You know. Maybe we don't need to invest into the search for the silverwolves if we still have our little thug with us.
>>
>>2586171
I'm looking at your suggestion and I noticed it's a little too spread out. Maybe we should focus on a few things.

huh...

Hey Aitee. Would investing over 100% have any affect?

>I'll put 10 down into prosperity and 4 into enlightenment.
>I'll put 17 into Construct and improve the manufacturing buildings and 9 into Construct Churches, Town Halls, And Law Enforcement facilities in the outer villages.
manufacturing buildings
Manufacturing (94%)
Piety, Law and Order facilities (100%)

The current projects have been for better churches and offices and equipment for law makers and enforces have been upgraded to the best that current available tech permits. In addition, the people to staff these places are receiving proper education and advice for these jobs.

>14 in Vaccination.
Vaccination (7%) + the help from the elves =
Vaccination 48%

>Hey Aitee. Would investing over 100% have any affect?
Yes, your settlement is growing in terms of the safety and prosperity it provides. With these things will come people that will want to benefit from it as well. Going over 100% means that when your population grows, there will be less need to constantly upgrade and expand. Like building an apartment for 50 people, there isn't anyone living there now, but at least you won't need to constantly add new floors in the near future.

>If we can set up that meeting with that one dwarf we have in captivity (he's a good sport for not complaining) that'd be grand. Between the Sorcerer and the Refugees, I'll focus finding more refugees.

"Ayie? Wha' ye wan'?"

The enginseers in the sewer reconstruction job have, through their digging, discovered a series of tunnels that weren't there from the original sewer plans. They seem to be well made, but at the same time they seem to be constructed by primitive means. Instead of being concrete, they are propped up by stone and mortar pillars, with the ceiling made in arches. They also aren't lit up by lights or torches of any kind, yet there is evidence that people come and go through here frequently judging by the two-toed foot prints.

After extensive debates with one another, they decide to turn to you for what to do.
>>
>>2586903
>There be people in the sewers
I'm just glad its not the Spanish gear elves. Alright. UT could be mutants or it could be a post Alstair civilization. Whatever the case might be let's bust open the old archives for any information of a race with "two-toed foot prints."
If we don't find anything then let's send some Knights with a few incendiary weapons. And a priest. Do we have some kind of subterranean sensor that can map out these new tunnels via echos or some McGuffin like that.

>blue dwarf fort kid
Think you can set up a meeting? I'm not sure if this is standard procedure, but the silverwolves have been quiet. Oh and thought you should know the warpath destroyed a bunch of your jyrocopter. Can we drive you to the city so you can set up that meeting today?

There are several instances of animals that posses such feet, but none match the prints seen here. As for a sensor, they do have one, which they use for--- Okay, the Enginseers report that one of their own has wandered off into the unknown tunnels, saying something about readings and needing to get a closer look while believing that his personal weapon and machine parts are protection enough..

>Think you can set up a meeting? I'm not sure if this is standard procedure, but the silver wolves have been quiet.
Dey's probably debating among demselves abou' wo' ta do, dat or they jus' waitin' for further instructions from Shrow.

> Oh and thought you should know the warpath destroyed a bunch of your Gyrocopter. Can we drive you to the city so you can set up that meeting today?
I dun' have a Gyrocopta', no' after da incident.
>>
>>2587068
Well where ever he goes God will be there guiding his hands. Personally I think he should have taken other with him but if he's confident enough I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

As for you my dwarven friend- no I. Well I supposed that incident of yours is a shame but I mean several of your friends are dead. Killed by the warpath. Though you don't seem too upset about that so good for you and I pray their souls go to where they belong.

Now back to the helfreyan sisters and the doomsday stack. I was never a fan of weapons but when times are tough I guess we'll need them. Let's get those back to some engineseers and have them studied for research- by the way did we want to pay the sisters in gold only or were we going to get them a home in the city. I haven't the foggiest since thread #2 or 3.
I'm getting tired. I might hit the hay soon.
>>
>>2587091
>If we don't find anything then let's send some Knights with a few incendiary weapons. And a priest.

The fire-team runs through the sewers for hours and come across the enginseer group that reported the tunnels. They were waiting by the entrance of the new tunnels for the team to come by. They the squad the means to track their wayward comrade, though the nature of their environment will mean that they will need to be close by and in a direct and unsealed path for the signal to detect. After roaming through the tunnels for a good 3 hours they finally catch the signal. Speeding through their way towards the source, they notice that it has remained unmoving the whole time that they found it. At this they become more cautious in their approach.

Then through a few minutes of further navigation, they find him at an intersection. There in the middle he stands, unmoving and facing the left.

>Now back to the helfreyan sisters and the doomsday stack. I was never a fan of weapons but when times are tough I guess we'll need them. Let's get those back to some engineseers and have them studied for research- by the way did we want to pay the sisters in gold only or were we going to get them a home in the city.

I think it was both.
>>
>>2587135
Hello? Engineseer? Are you alright?
>>
>>2587155
A hissing sound akin to a shush from the enginseer is made. He remains still, but a murmur is heard from him. It sounds like he's telling them to not make any sudden moves or noises, or is he saying to come closer and see, or maybe he's telling them to get out of sight or remain out of sight?
>>
>>2587161
remain out of sight but keep weapons at hand.

He has a plethora of augmentations and he didn't get the one that lets him mentally communicate through broadcasts.
>>
>>2587165
Crap I forgot to say that the Enginseer has a big LED flashlight shining in the direction he was facing. oh well.

The knights inch up and peer around the left corner to see... This standing in the middle of tunnel. Perfectly still, just like the enginseer its facing from 11 feet away.
>>
>>2587166
....and people....
sure alright. We better phone up the Glad Elf leader and ask her if she knows of such a race, because we apparently found one in the ruins of our sewer system and we're in a bit of an awkward situation.
>>
>>2587167
I don't recall such a race being recorded to exist. If you found something in your sewers, try friendly communication.
>>
>>2587169
Crap, i forgot to put it in quotation marks.
>>
>>2587170
I can't believe you forgot the quotes.
This quest is ruined.
I can't believe the quality has fallen so low.
This is outrageous!
I will not stand for this!

But in all seriousness this is kind of cool. another civilization right under our noses. It's not the most ideal but I guess have the nicest person of the whole group try to make contact. Possibly throw in a granola bar or something.
>>
Subterranean race of ant people. Wow. Well. Yes. Ok. Uhm.
Right so I'm sitting here wonder how we never say them on the surface. Maybe they were an already existing race that came from across the river or from a different continent. Maybe they like to stay under ground and that explains why the one we found is frozen in the LED light for some apparent reason (does anyone but the one engineseer have LED Lights?).
What do they do about food. Do they have slow reproductive and digestive systems. Do they mostly grow some kind of underground cattle and crops. Do they somehow manage to sneak to the surface to hunt.

I swear if there are wasp people we are not negotiating with them. Deus Vult Jerusalem on their asses. Fuck wasps.
>>
>>2587175
>I will not stand for this!
Have a chair then, just don't have a cow man.

>have the nicest person of the whole group try to make contact.
One of the knight tries to offer a friendly greeting, for no response.

A fly, however, flies into the being's mouth, prompting her to reflexively spit it out.

Then she runs back, deeper into the caverns and out of range of the light. The sound of their footsteps becoming ever more distant.

Meanwhile back on the surface, the waystone to the glade elves begins to flicker to life. From it comes a new shipment of food and an unexpeted visitor.
>>
>>2587184
>Fuck wasps.

what about hornets?
>>
>>2587185
>an unexpeted visitor.
"AAAAHHH--- Oh. Hello again! Sorry, I, uh, I got here by mistake, eheheh..." The apian says with a smile and nervous laughter.
>>
>>2587189
Give the girl some candy and ask her what brings her here. Noooo I don't think she came to this exact Waystone by mistake with shipments of food and medicine. I guess it is fine if she wishes to visits (if she gets her moms permission). Is she here for any particular reason?

Now back to our adventurous Engineseer. It's a shame that fly came by when it did, but we did learn something today thanks to him. LED light stun the ant people(™). Now just to be on the safe side lets go get some less than lethal weapons.
Power Mauls
Lockshields
Teargas canisters and launchers
A flamethrower but with a canister of pepper spray, or a super soaker full of pepper spray

Ok I'm kidding I'm not but it's a little over the top continue clearing the sewer systems and if you have the time try exploring and mapping out those tunnels.
>>
>>2587189
forgot to add this
>>
Dear god I hope we don't have to kill the lot of them. I mean without a doubt I know we could. It's the sewers so no one would care if we flood the place with some RAID gas and seal the place for a few days.

Maybe they're gonna come back with a diplomat and not an army of fodder.
>>
>>2587199

"ah no, I really did come here by accident, I was just carrying the things and trying to get away from the gnats and stuff. Thanks for the sweets though. Oh, by the way do you have anything that repels gnats? they're very annoying."

More guardsmen as well as some tech guard are sent into the sewers to guard against potential hostiles.
>>
>>2587205
Define, "gnats". Are they too anthropomorphic (do they walk on two legs and can talk in case she doesn't know what the word means)?

Can the tech priests set up a bait trap for one of the ant people?
>>
>>2587210
"Uh, yes, why?"
>>
>>2587210
Would you like to send a drone to see this gnat problem your self?

>>
>>2587213
oh fuck they're kids I was gonna suggest something like pepper spray or raid Haaaaaa noooooooo. I don't think we do. If you tell me more about them then I might be able to help you find a solution.
>>
>>2587214
Send a drone? Yes.

Bait the ants? Make a maitape of music and have it play on repeat somewhere, then have a hidden camera set up in the same room. Or actually we could wait. They'll eventually come around.

>>2587269
Mushroom people....There's always going to be more surprises. Can she tell us about those? What if we give her a spritzer bottle or watergun full of vinegar? They'll hopefully leave her alone.

If fact let's go look for some to talk to with the drone.

>>

The drone is not equipped to do that.

no.

The Pruzsic diplomat is now asking for what they will be trading for specifically, they have resources and manpower they just want to know what you want in exchange.
>>
I'm surprised you're posting this early.

>>2588316
I guess while (I forgot her name) stays chills out on our side of the empire we can phone up the glad elf leader about the gnat people. Apparently they are annoying. Can we have her take on them?

Now back to the Pruzsic diplomat. For now I guess we can exchange tools for metals.
>>
>>2588518
I haven't given her a name yet.

>For now I guess we can exchange tools for metals.

"Ach, that is good, can ve also exchange architecture and information? We can benefit from your city planning and building designs, and you can have any knowledge you need about our lands."
>>
>>2588641
Huh. he's not asking for anything specific. Let's offer them some awesome designs for cathedrals. Classic Terran architecture. As for information do they have any on the bible. Because we'd love to share the loving light of God.
>>
>>2588759
"We would like to have better road systems as well as better means of managing our cities and towns through your advanced knowledge on the matter. We are currently preparing for the possibility of a war against the Tsar, and the ability to harness as much war material and fighting men will be vital."
>>
>>2588811
I can do one better. Give us a few maps and some statistics about their geography and settlements and we can draw up some plans in a few days. Maybe even less (consider we're now an A.I.)
>>
Oh and I guess we should give them the info on how to improve roads and city management too
>>
>>2588820
The diplomat presents a detailed map of all of Pruzsia, as well as several others that detail each individual state. He also begins citing each ones geography, history, statistics, resources, specialties, ect. ect.

The more you listen to him, the more the Pruzic Federation sounds like the Empire from the original Warhammer fantasy as well as its 3nd reboot rather than the Age of Sigmar or SJW filled one.

You two go back and forth about the plans for city management and road infrastructure. The day goes by with little incident. The Apian girl returns home with a vinegar sprayer, Camelia continues her studies within the keep with you tutoring her through the rooms intercom. The sisters and the enginseers bring back a hefty haul of weapons and food. The sewers are seeing better improvement as it is able to connect to the smaller water treatment station of one of the abandoned towns above, allowing them to take the edge off from the sanitation issue once it get up and running.

The kerogrim engineer in your employ is also helping fix things around the keep, bringing you much closer to peek functioning capacity. The People are becoming better fed and educated per day, with the implementation of laws and regulations, as well as safety measures, going around your burgeoning realm. More and more refugees are being found and herded to your settlement, diseases are being cured at a fast rate with the aid of the glade elves.

All in all, it is a good day. However, at the end of it the scouts up north report that the Gear elves have doubled in number over the last few days. Mostly to combat threats that assail them, but the increase in military has noted. They have recently sent a caravan to Amberfall's direction. Be prepared for a meeting with them soon.
>>
>>2588924
I can't believe the priest was a gamer
What a time to be alive
>>
>>2588924
>Be prepared for a meeting with them soon.
Make sure the guardsmen patrolling are extra vigilant and a few Knights be ready on the chance they have some beef. Which might not be the case but it's nice to be prepared.

Can we see what kind of caravan it is?

We're we able to set up the waystone gate with the Kerogrim or is it still a work in progress? How are our capabilities to manufacturing (specifically weapons)?
Would it be possible to use diplomacy on most of the Kerogrim enemies instead of slaughtering them?
>>
>>2588990
Actually scratch that about preparing. If They were going to invade then they would have brought an army. Let's greet them when they get here.

>>
My guess is it's either the Gear Elves or the ant in the tunnels making noise.
>>
>>2589164
>64▶
>My guess is it's either the Gear Elves or the ant in the tunnel
A cam reveals the disturbance, a very large group of these are moving in.
>>
>>2589184
Let's (and I mean our avatar) go down there with a fruit basket offering with some riot armored Knights or heavy guardsmen. Same non-lethal stuff (shock batons and shield, gas masks, tear gas weapons, a few handguns just in case)
>>
>>2589202
You and the knights march down the sewers with the prescribed equipment and a sealed fruit basket, spending hours trudging through those tunnels. You come across where the sewers and the ant made tunnels. Seeing a shield wall formed at the entrances of the various ant made tunnels.
>>
>>2589218
Try saying hello in all the languages we know. If that doesn't work then show the fruit basket and see if that produces any results.

Does anyone have an LED light? Does the avatar have one?
>>
>>2589184
What do their weapons and shields look like they're made of?
>>
>>2589253
At first glance it appears to be made of bronze and wood. However it could be of a much stronger metal, or some allow that would make it more viable in medieval combat than bronze.

>>2589240
>Does anyone have an LED light?
yes.

>Try saying hello in all the languages we know.
No response, though they do seem to be making glances to each other as you do.

>If that doesn't work then show the fruit basket and see if that produces any results.
No response other than faint interest.
>>
>>2589280
>better than bronze
>adorable bug people knowing decent smiting
It's probably bronze. If not then holy shit I wonder what kind of sick ores we've been digging up from the mines. Magical? Probably not unless our sensors are acting up. Advanced alloys? Nope.
Slowly approach with the gift basket. Use Lightning fast robot reaction time to parry or break any attempts to attack.
>>
So if an LED light causes them to seize up, then strobe mode must be awful.
>>
>>2589296
>Slowly approach with the gift basket.
You slowly approach with the sealed gift. Already they ready their spears. However, you inch ever closer as peacefully as possible. Seemingly sensing no ill intent they lower their guard and you put the gift down at their feet and slowly back away.

From beneath the shield wall you sense movement. You see a smaller worker ant, lying sideways on the ground, arm stretched out from between the feet of the soldier ants. It reaches out and grabs the gift before swiftly retreating back in and the ant disappears between the masses of soldiers

>So if an LED light causes them to seize up, then strobe mode must be awful.
Unlikely, you are using LEDs right now and they don't seem to be affected.
>>
'ello?
>>
>>2589376
Asleep. The time I'm awake and you doing these are radically different. Real shame.

>>2589339
Hmmmm. Do we we have a pencil and notepad with us? If we don't know any languages then legs try doing Pictogram
Darn I should have suggested that earlier. Have some load a drone with some pencils and a few notepads and have it fly to where we are and stop ten meters away or behind a corner as to not spoon the ant people.
So this planet had exclusive metals or alloys. Do we have any info about them recorded? Any that are common knowledge in our domain? Any discovered in the mountain we dig from?
>>
>>2589448
>So this planet had exclusive metals or alloys. Do we have any info about them recorded? Any that are common knowledge in our domain? Any discovered in the mountain we dig from?
The metals that we know of will be covered on a late date.

>Have some load a drone with some pencils and a few notepads and have it fly to where we are and stop ten meters away or behind a corner as to not spook the ant people.
You receive a package full of paper and a marker so as to communicate with them through drawings. What message would you like to convey?
>>
>>2590351
Draw a picture of them in a tunnel with a question mark.
>>
>>2590381
Will they even know what a question mark is?
>>
>>2590394
I don't expect them to, but I hope it will make them something. Maybe they might have a written language. Really anything they write would be helpful...if they know they're supposed to write on it that is.

I want to try this. A whole complete sentence to see if they'll say something.
"Hello my children. I come to you with no intention of harm. I hope the smaller of your fellows is enjoying the gift basket that was put together."
>>
>>2590411
>"Hello my children. I come to you with no intention of harm. I hope the smaller of your fellows is enjoying the gift basket that was put together."
Silence follows after these words. After a period of awkard silence, the ant soldiers begin to move backwards. They make an organized retreat back to the tunnels, not showing you their backs and not taking their watchful gaze off of you or the nights. Eventually they leave your sight and even their footsteps grow to distant to be heard.
>>
>>2590486
Meanwhile back on the surface, guess whose back.
>>
>>2590490
...did they steal the bottle?
>>
>>2590493
"No, the bottle worked just fine its just that the hive smells like super poop now. Its also attracting a lot of fruit flies now and I cant come back until I find something that gets rid of the stench."
>>
>>2590514
Give her a bottle of febreeze air freshener. If you get any in your mouth or eyes please them you'll need to rinse them thoroughly for several minutes.
>>
>>2590567

>>
>>2590567
"wouldn't this defeat the purpose of the vinegar?"
>>
>>2590614

At least then she would be able to go back home for the time being.

Let's try going there in person and interacting with the gnats and fruit flies. Just us with one or two Knights.
>>
>>2590624
"Why would you want to talk with fruit flies? They are, like, dust size. I don't think their brains will be large enough to understand speech."
>>
>>2590629
So fruit flies are the same and not big -ok then.

So I have a few radical ideas on how to overcome the annoyance that are the gnats, and it's related to reading them the Bible until they leave or are interested.
Right here in this post >>2588518 I wanted to talk to the Glad elf leader about the gnats but was never answered. Does this mean we are exempt from any moral repricussions for systematically killing the gnats with mechanical accuracy and religious fanaticism?
I have yet to understand the full scope of these gnats, but surely they have a purpose in this world, as so we all?
>>
>>2590644
You ask the Glade Elven Leader (who will here to for be named Ascelina) over the topic of gnats.

"Gnats are insectivores, strangely enough, they feed on insects as well as spiders and rodents, although fruits and vegetables are also on their diet. You won't have to worry about them consuming the Apians, its just regular bugs that they eat."
>>
>>2590685
An Apian seem to find them like pests and annoying. Seems silly does it not?
>>
>>2590702
"No, they really are annoying." As she speaks you can hear non-stop chattering in the background of the call. "Never the less, its better they are allowed to come and come and go than to keep them out and find yourself swarming with more dangerous pests. By the way,was the issue in the sewers resolved?"
>>
>>2590719
Not exactly but I think we are making progress
>>
>>2590852
"Excellent, for I have been diving into the library for information on the race you mentioned. They are called the Formiana, and they originate from lands far across the Mediterranean sea; the continent of Zaffanica in the south and the fertile crescent in the southeast. Their language is written in the form of hieroglyphs, and their race is akin to the Apians in that each colony is ruled by a queen. However, it says that they are constantly fighting against other races as well as with each other. By that I mean that they are divided into several kingdoms and empires. Which begs the question of how did they come here and why?"
>>
>>2592977
All these earth references. Now I'm sure we somehow went full circle and and back to Earth. The coincidence is uncanny.
>>
>>2592977
Do you have a translator of their language and may I borrow the language and translator to copy?
>>
>>2593276
"Oh? you have these locations on your home planet? Fascinating. Tell me, is there a place like Elysium on your world?"

>>2593284
>Do you have a translator of their language and may I borrow the language and translator to copy?
"Unfortunately no, we know very little of their spoken word."

While you are busy talking with Ascelina, a visitor comes in from the Glade Elven Waystone.

"Hi, I'm Daisy! Have you seen Alice around here?"
>>
>>2593340
I don't believe she has returned home yet. She should be around here somewhere.
>>
>>2593405
>She should be around here somewhere.
At this Alice walks in.

"Hey, did somebody say my---"

*pic happens

"I told you not to do that!" alice says, "and what are you doing here? I thought you were grounded."

"I was, groundings finished. By the way I found one of those old 'magic' 8 balls lying around. You know, the ones that actually try to answer the questions?"

"really?"

"Yeah, wanna see?"
>>
>>
>>
"Well, at least we know it works." Daisy remarks with a smirk.

"What does 'lol' mean?"

"I dunno," daisy says before giggling a bit. "Oh, by the way."

Daisy turns to you and says. "Do you have any cheese?"
>>
>>2593451
...yeeeesss? What kind do you want?
>>
>>2593464
"Any kind would do, so long that its not bad, and has no mold. someone or something took all the cows from the elves a while ago, so we would like any you can trade us with."
>>
>>2593465
Well it looks like we have a trade agreement of sorts? Sure. We can also give you some of the cattle we have.
>>
>>2593466
"Wait, can we get cheese too?" Alice asks.

The scouts report that the gear elves up the river are expanding their city. And by their city, I mean the old capital of Alistair, New Wellington, that they have taken over.

A message coming from the knights stationed in the foreign kingdom of Gregland. They send a picture of the elven ranger they've befriended. They also report that they are doing well, they are currently tracking down with some form of drug ring.

Urgent events, you can only respond to 2 as of the moment.

The dwarven clansmen in new London are currently recuperating, they ask for any spare medical supplies.

One of the outer villages has asked if you can take care of a parent-less child that they found.

The same village that we found Madeline in is reporting that a raiding party of satyrs are about to attack them.

In the southeast of Amberfall, a distant sound is heard, it seems familiar....

Is this the sound of bandits?
>Urgent events, you can only respond to 2 as of the moment.
>One of the outer villages has asked if you can take care of a parent-less child that they found.
This sounds decidedly less important than the others.
>The same village that we found Madeline in is reporting that a raiding party of satyrs are about to attack them.
Important to respond to.

Are they in imminent death?

assuming the distant sound is bandits, deal with that and the satyrs. inform the dwarves that we will send medical aid when we have spare units.

If the distant sounds isn't bandits, the I vote dwarves, and satyrs.
>>
>>2593697

Let's deal with the satyrs and injured dwarves. We put some effort into the Vaccination so we might have enough medical supplies.
>>

You cannot. Because the points have already been spent. You don't pay attention do you?

Spare supplies. that was what I meant. Yes.
>>
>Spare supplies. that was what I meant. Yes.
A VTOL is dispatched with medical supplies towards the dwarves.

>>2595114
Let's deal with the satyrs.

Several squads of guardsmen and knights are dispatched towards the village, embarking on APCs.
>>
A while after they leave, the sound of the distant music becomes known. An armored car bearing the sigils of the Warpath, comes into view of Amberfall, speeding towards the city with alarming speed.
>>
>>2595171
Get some heavy armor piercing weapons pointed at them. The very moment the fire the first shot or exceed the reaction/distance stopping limit they will be shot down.
Scratch that. Shoot them now. I think that's the same annoying one. Can we use the laser weapons against them?
>>
>>2595038
>I already answered this.

AP rounds and lasers fly, and miraculously miss. The driver has proven his skill (or lack there of) and is now driving everywhere. Fast and erratic, like a wild weasle, he manages to evade the barrage as the gunner ducks underneath the cover of his bulletshields.

Then it becomes apparent they were fleeing from something else, when a horde of these things come into view in the distance. Emerging from the same direction that the car came from.

>was thread 4 ever archieved?

damn

>horde of undead
Not cool leading a hoard to us. Let's keep an eye on the driver.
Recite a litany to god and have their aim strike true. Have guardsmens and riflemen pick their targets and either aim center or the heads. The Knights will also help with their weapons too, then switch to melee on the chace the horde gets closer. Do we have any grenade canisters than can spew out a mist of holy water? If not then we're gonna make that someday to combat the undead.
>>
>>2595318
All available guardsmen, knights, and paladins man the defense of Amberfall. Some of the enginseers also come join in the defense. Firing shell after shell, round after round at the horde.

>Not cool leading a hoard to us. Let's keep an eye on the driver.
The driver has resumed driving in your direction at breakneck speed.

>Do we have any grenade canisters than can spew out a mist of holy water? If not then we're gonna make that someday to combat the undead.
No, but you do have a large stock pile of holy water sealed in pvc barrels.

>No, but you do have a large stock pile of holy water sealed in pvc barrels.

At this point either the only reason they're alive is because they're a McGuffin or there is a super missionary in there. Gonna ignore them and focus on the undead. IF lasers can't hit them, then nothing will.

Or maybe launching a field of caltrops and mustard gas into their vents.
>>
>>2595439
>Or maybe launching a field of caltrops and mustard gas into their vents.
You have no mustard gas, but caltrops are available.

Caltrops launched and scattered. The car pops its tires and slows to a crawl. The driver and gunner leave their vehicle and continue running into your direction.

>weaponize super soakers
You have no super soakers, but the water hoses that the enginseer miners use to weaken the rocks will have to do. Several priests vigorously bless the water again, as well as the machine, just to ensure that the water will have the intended effect. As bursts of the stuff splash over the undead that encroach ever closer to your walls, they begin to weaken and crumble. Then in the distance, a aberration against nature stands, it raises a boney hand and more minions rise from the ground.

Michael the Priest is part of the Church of England, and he travelled the world. So a rank from that organization would be in order.

So what will your orders be?
>>

The necromancer evaporates in a hail of cannon fire... Only to reappear much, much closer to your walls, just a few feet away from the Fleeing warpath men, and has begun chasing them as they head towards the your gatehouse.
>>

Hose him down
>>
>>2599290
The Necromancer is destroyed in a hailstorm of lead. His body breaks and shatters into pieces with each bullet.

>>
>>2599318

>>
>>2599348
A wayward bullet smashes the jar. An unearthly howl escapes the jaws of the Necromancer, then it is silenced by a gush of holy water.

The rest of the undead army begin to suffer from the destruction of its source power. Their pace slows, their forms slowly stoops, and their bodies begin to rapidly decay.

The men of the warpath continue their dash towards the city.

Meanwhile in a distant village...
>>
>>2599755
The teams have arrived and the satyrs have launched an attack. Braying and gnashing, the tribals charge at the village.
>>
>>2599809
Another visitor from the waystone emerges.

"Lord of Amberfall, I bring dire news. A plague has erupted within our habitat, and as such, large sections of our vault have been quarentined. We require medical supplies if you could spare any. To make matters worse, a large gathering of cultists have been spotted in one of our ruined cities. We would any military aid that you can send."

The village that sent you the request to take in a lost child has sent you the same request again. This time saying that the child is causing an ample amount of distress and distraction in the settlement, due to the noise and actions in makes.

"I would still like to know if we can get cheese too," Alice says.
>>
>>2599997
>The village can take in the lost child and what is that child doing
>you can have cheese too Alice
>send military aid and medical supplies to the dog people [i forgot their race name] and if we dont have enough medical supplies then trade for more from someone
>>
>>2599997
So we can now deal with these other two issues now? Fantastic. As I think it's the same day, do we have the medical supplies in our reserves to help? Well, assuming this is the Bubonic plague or the Black Death if it's all the same on this world as there are an awfully high number of diseased Skaven. who really should try to get clean. I think there was a word for this. We're you're a transmitter of diseased but they don't impact you as much as they do others?
Anyways if we can help it them we should help them as soon as possible. How did this happen? We're their water poisoned or tainted?

>We would [appreciate] any military aid that you can send."
Do we have anymore warriors to send? I remember at one point you said we were stretched thin and couldn't have any more to spare unless we took some away from our city or hold. Well the last part you didn't say, but I'm assuming.
I do remember we had some guardsmen on their side, but I do understand that Knights of the Order of the Crimson Blade are more suited for roles of attacking. No offence to our guardsmen. Their job is a noble one.

Oh yes the child. We can send forth a carriage or a jeep to retrieve them. I wonder why a single child is so much trouble for these villagers. I suppose we will see in due time. And yes Alice may have some cheese with a few cows since they are apparently lacking.

A few other things- the Warpath men held at the gate house, the Formianans that live under our city and the Silverwolves dwarf we sent out to the city.

Do none of the languages we know or that are recorded in our temple have any information on their language? If not then let's contact Bob and ask him if he knows the language the Warpath speaks. Also place them under house arrest- wait they don't own a home here...place them under normal arrest and impound their vehicle. Remember to take the key out of the ignition.

For the Formianans...
>Do you have a translator of their language and may I borrow the language and translator to copy?
>"Unfortunately no, we know very little of their spoken word."
Do the Gremlins or the Pruzsia Diplomat know the Formianans hieroglyphs? Does Sir Heinrich know of their people? What about Alice?

...Maybe we should have given the dwarf a radio and a frequency he should use to contact us.
Wait. Did we even deliver him to the city yet?

>Anyways if we can help it them we should help them as soon as possible. How did this happen? We're their water poisoned or tainted?
"Unlikely, however, I will not deny the possibility of carriers."

>Do we have anymore warriors to send?
Yes you do, but they are tasked with patrol and defence of the outer villages and manning the cities battlements and streets.

>Oh yes the child. We can send forth a carriage or a jeep to retrieve them. I wonder why a single child is so much trouble for these villagers.
A jeep and some men are dispatched to see whats wrong with the kid in question.

> If not then let's contact Bob and ask him if he knows the language the Warpath speaks.
You hear crunching noises on the other side of the radio before you realize that bob is talking while eating.
"I haff diffikutee undurshtanding mohdern shang ash ikt ish, can' be bodderd w'th a nudda language"

>impound their vehicle.
The guardsmen walkout to collect the armored car, and finally shut off its radio.

>Do the Gremlins or the Pruzsia Diplomat know the Formianans hieroglyphs?
"Yeah, we have a book about the ant's language." Says the gremlin salesgirl whose name I have embarrassingly forgotten. "You can have it, for a price" :3

>Does Sir Heinrich know of their people?
"The what now?"

>What about Alice?
"I have no idea what an ant person is, but I do know of hornets. By the way, are you sure you want to give us cows? We have no knowledge of how to ranch."

>Did we even deliver him to the city yet?
The dwarf is currently stuck inside of a water barrel.
>>
>>2601695
>Warning, scouts in the western villages report more sightings of goatmen, they send images as proof.
Our sent troops (or whoever is there) should probably set up a few defenses and hindrances if they haven't done so already. If they have the luxury of time to do so.

>Do we have anymore warriors to send?
>Yes you do, but they are tasked with patrol and defence of the outer villages and manning the cities battlements and streets.
I have an idea. Is it the knights or the guardsmen that are largely a part of the patrols and city defense forces? If we can't spare the soldiers then can we settle for arming them with better/more guns, swords and armor if we haven't already?

Lets wait for him to finish his food. Does he know anyone that does?
Wait some of the refugees that were trying to escape from the city was part of the Warpath. She would know. Let's go look for her.

Let's buy the book. It Can't be worth much considering magic and technology exist on this planet.

>Does Sir Heinrich know of their people?
>"The what now?"
The Formianans. But we don't need to ask him since we bought the book.

>"I have no idea what an ant person is, but I do know of hornets. By the way, are you sure you want to give us cows? We have no knowledge of how to ranch."
I guess we can teach you how later, but for now we trade in cheese.

"Okay! sorry if we're being annoying. Wouldn't keeping the cows for yourself and using them to make the cheese to sell to use for what you want be more beneficial for you?"

>How are the refugees taking things?
The first batch of refugees are going along nicely within your city of Amberfall. The refugees that resemble ninjas have settled a new tent town outside the city walls, preferring the open space to the cramped confines of the settlement to construct their homes.

The tribes from New London are dispersed into several different ruins of towns for their own use, they are given construction materials and instructions and left to their own accord.

And of course, they all have teams of enginseer medical personnel and Glade Elven doctors.

>Any who stay or leave?
None have left.

>Anyone taking up a proper education and finding work within or outside the city?
Yes, the ones that have been properly cured are being educated. Those that haven't yet are still waiting their turn.

>What's the situation? Are we suppose to switch to tactical/stategic view?
This is possible only through drone uplink to give you a birds eye view over the field. Without drones, you would have to operate with what the guardsmen and knights report in the field. Yes, you have a drone. but you cannot be everywhere at once. In the future, consider the possibility for training commanding officers for your army so that they can operate with confidently and independently from you. In the mean time, the satyrs are charging from all sides. They gain ground steadily as they ignore the danger and death happening around them as they press onto the surrounded village.

>Does our Avatar have any translators of it? If not, try to communicate through charades, pointing, and drawings. Pointing at something and saying the same word enough times will eventually get the idea across. Our audio recordings, photos, videos should make the process easier.

The warpath men seem uncooperative and unconcerned with this endeavor.

And why is that?
>>
Are you guys gonna put the quest on hold just because you ran into two guys who can't speak your language?

You could just ask to focus on something else.
>>
>>2617542
> focus on something else.
Focus on a different event I mean.
>>
>>2617507
Anons are no longer on the warpath.
>>2617542
>>2617545
no, these two guys are a menace to our quest

I already have 1/2 of the event responses written. I was going to go back in the archive to figure out who the warpath men were, but then I got busy with other quests.
Do you take feedback?
>>
Figured I'd post to get started.

>The warpath men seem uncooperative and unconcerned with this endeavor.
So then what were they doing here, they wanted us to do their dirty work? If they're going to be a problem we don't want their ilk around.
I still have to go check back in the archives in this.

>"What's lactose intolerant?" Alice says as she cocks her head to the side.
"The lactose, stuff in milk, doesn't get processed because you don't have the lactase for it. When milk does bad stuff to you, like gas. I was going to say after you get older, but I don't know if your species are even suppose to digest milk."
>>

>I still have to go check back in the archives in this.
I looked back at the archives, and I don't know whose side the Warpath on, it looks like a massive clusterfuck whenever they were involved.

Have the Warpath state their purpose and what they seemed to be doing for leading an entire necrotic army to our doorsteps.

They don't understand what you're saying and seem to be too busy arguing with each other to care.

"Ooooooh, no we aren't intolerant of milk." Alice says.

"Yeah, I don't think anyone is bigoted against cows."

"Bigo--- What?" Alice says in confusion.

"Gettit? Intolerant?" Daisy says with a big grin on her face.

Alice is unamused.

>I looked back at the archives, and I don't know whose side the Warpath on, it looks like a massive clusterfuck whenever they were involved.
They are on their own side.

The man sent to collect the disruptive child earlier has arrived at the village. All seems peaceful, a guard approaches him.

"Oi, welcome to Dinkleburg, wot brings ye here?"

>They don't understand what you're saying and seem to be too busy arguing with each other to care.
Well if they do something stupid make sure they don't involve us in it. Wait for them to settle down before bringing them in for questioning.
>They are on their own side.
Ah. So we won't feel bad about killing them again if it comes to that.

>Alice is unamused.
"Selling the other goods you asked for it is."

>"Oi, welcome to Dinkleburg, wot brings ye here?"
"You asked us to pick up a disruptive, lost child."

The warpath men are now just standing there, seemingly bickering with each other. They do have sense to stay out of the way of city traffic however.

>"You asked us to pick up a disruptive, lost child."
"Ah, yer talkin; about dat lass. Well, to tell ye da truth that kid is not as disruptive so much as simply distractin'." The guard says, "We've had her fer weeks, earlier today we sent the regular message to Amberfall, then somebody decided to mail a more colorful letter to you guys hope'n it'ah catch more attenshin'. If you want my opinion, da goat girl's to stupid to be much danger to anyone. Pushing dirt around, wandering aimlessly, and playin' with them sticks o' hers is da worst she's done."

Sure.

Bring them in to one of our police stations, or keep if that's the equivalent. I guess we can give them temporary lodgings at the police station since their ride's wrecked. Have some scouts check out the armored car wreckage, dead necromancy army, and destroyed phylactery.
Oh. I have an idea. Keep a video recording of their conversations, and have a scribe take down any notes and piece out their language. Generally the parts they shout most with gnarled expressions should be expletives.

"Ah. Should be easy enough, we'll take her in."

Can we send in air support or artillery to wipe them out? They sound like they're clumped together for something like that.

Gonna archive this thread right now out of fear of it becoming dead and becoming unarchivable due to it being at the very last of the catalog list.

From what I know of 4chan's thread system I'm going to assume that a thread will become dead if it drops beyond the limit of available quests.
>>
>>2624643
Thread becomes dead if it's past page 11 in the catalog. Thread becomes no longer archivable in off-site archives if the thread is no longer accessible in 4chan's archives, which is after about 21 days or what I assume to be every 100 archived threads.

What page are you talking about, there are no next or previous buttons than I see, just a continuous scroll of threads.

I have no idea how any this works.

Showing screenshots would help. I can't help much because I can't access sup/tg/ at the moment. It should work because the thread is still on 4chan.
>What page are you talking about, there are no next or previous buttons than I see, just a continuous scroll of threads.
Hover over the thread on the catalog, or scroll to the bottom in the index.
>I have no idea how any this works.
That's fine.

Finally got it to work, I think It failed the previous times because I may have been accidentally trying to archive it on the /tg/ archive rather than the /qst/ archive.

As an apology for throwing up my earlier frustrations; have some helfreyans.
