Ten years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza’s army. Since that fateful day, the Saiyans have earned the title of warrior race as Freeza’s soldiers, leading the charge onto hundreds of worlds and facing down all who oppose Lord Freeza’s rule. As mighty conquerors crushing all resistance, the Saiyans have earned their reputation as Freeza’s most powerful subjects.

The larger than life tales of the Saiyans, and especially the Super Saiyans, have spread to every corner of the civilized universe. Epics of the golden warrior or warriors facing down demons, wizards, assassins, armies, champions, and even surviving against both Freeza and the Arbiter are told universe-wide. The mere mention of Super Saiyans inspires awe, admiration, jealousy, or fear, depending on who you ask. This has now lead to the Covenant assembling a mighty army 30,000 warships strong to exterminate the Saiyans once and for all. Your actions from this point forward could either save the Saiyan race, or doom them all.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 741, the ten-year anniversary of the Saiyans joining the PTO. You the players control Karn, a Saiyan Berserker with a known base powerlevel of 820,000, a general in Lord Freeza’s army, mate to Meloka, father of Chaya, Chilli and Broly(adoptive), and an inspiration to both the other Saiyans and the rest of the PTO. Right now you’re by yourself, everyone having split up to protect New Salda.

Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:
The battle begins! Arriving several days early, the Covenant launched their attack on New Salda. With Meloka’s help, you both successfully protected the arena, allowing Raven to send the noncombatants to the safety of Planet Azar. With the only ones left on New Salda most of the Saiyans who will be fighting, you settled in to prepare for the siege. While the Tamaraneans and Freeza fought in space around New Salda, you and the other Saiyans remained within the atmosphere, destroying the ships that came through. You’d destroyed them by the dozens, until one caught you with its massive laser weapon, blasting straight through your Hellzone Grenade minefield and slamming you into the ground. As we rejoin Karn, the attack has just ended, leaving you in a massive smoking crater.

“Dammit, I let my guard down.” you mutter to yourself, uncrossing your arms from in front of your face. You remain on the ground a moment, taking stock of the damage. You feel fine, your suit having taken the brunt of the attack. Your chestpiece is cracked from right breastplate to the middle of your waist, and your scouter is cracked and chipped. The break goes from the top left corner to bottom right, the break splitting near the edge and leaving you missing the bottom-right corner of the screen. Your scouter’s communications work fine, but the display is shot. You also feel a slight scorch along the outside of your left forearm as you rise to your feet, dusting yourself off then glaring up at the Covenant warships. A dozen of them are overhead, some others firing their beams at the ground nearby. Probably to continue leveling the forest to prepare to land troops. Meanwhile another dozen-ish are all spreading out and away, a plague descending on New Salda. You can only sense two nearby Saiyans, the rest having either fled or been killed by other lasers.

What will you do?
>Rush up and attack the ships trying to terraform
>Rush up and attack the fleeing ships
>Remain where you are, Energy Javelin and snipe each ship firing at New Salda
>Remain where you are, Energy Javelin Barrage every ship in your range
>Fly up into their midst and Super Explosive Wave, take as many out at once as you can
>Send the Hellzone Grenade minefield up at the ships, then replace it while the sky’s cleared
>Grab a ship firing its laser and use that to destroy the other ships

Gritting your teeth as you look up into the sky, you realize you can’t take them all down without really tiring yourself out. You’ll just have to trust the others to handle the ships fleeing from you, you cannot let them make this landing zone here. If they start landing troops it could be disastrous. So you’ll just have to stop them here yourself. You focus your attention on the dozen or so ships firing, and you notice the one that’d shot you is again charging up. Perfect. You quickly charge up another Energy Javelin in your right hand, pull back, then toss it at that ship. Your aim was true, the attack piercing straight through the ship’s cannon. After a moment your Javelin explodes, detonating the cannon as well and blasting the offending ship in half. You allow yourself a moment of smug victory, then continue with your work.

You toss Energy Javelin after Energy Javelin, detonating each of the ships firing at New Salda one after another. Not a single attack misses, each one finding their mark perfectly. After only a minute you’ve cleared out the ones blasting the forest, but then you sense something disturbing. More of the ships are pouring through the gap in space, while what’s probably another splitjaw is butchering one of the last two of that other Saiyan squad near you, it having probably killed the rest too. If you get over there now you can probably save that last Saiyan, but more Covenant ships will probably get through and spread out, despite your minefield. After all, the other ships that fled stayed high enough to avoid getting caught in it.

What will you do?
>Rush and save that Saiyan, but let more ships get through
>Ascend and rush, save the Saiyan quickly
>Try to focus on that creature’s ki from here and guide a Death Beam right into it
>Send the Hellzone Grenades into the approaching ships then rush the last Saiyan
>Ignore that other Saiyan for now, plug this gap until the Tamaraneans close the hole in their defenses

You can’t afford to go to that other Saiyan to save them. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t help. You focus on that Saiyan’s ki, and try your best to telepathically reach that warrior.

“Hey! Can you hear me?” you think out, hopefully reaching them.
“Huh? What?” is the reply, startling them.
“Good. This is Karn, listen up.” you tell them, as you toss another pair of Javelins into approaching ships. “Head towards me, I can’t head towards you right now. Draw that bastard in to me, and I’ll kill it. Got it?”
“R-Right!” the other Saiyan replies, you cutting the mental link as you focus on their ki. You toss a few more Energy Javelins into the sky as the Saiyan approaches, your focus more on his/her approach making most of your shots go wide. You still down a solid dozen of them before that last Saiyan arrives, you then turning and seeing her arrival. You watch as a woman’s head appears over the edge of the crater. You then sense a presence closing in, you leaping up and past her and drawing your Energy Blade. Before she could react you’re standing behind her, your blade clashing against something invisible. A splitjaw’s invisibility is disrupted, eyes widening in surprise.

“Wh-what?!” it shouts, surprised. It had expected to kill someone helpless before its tricks, instead its now face-to-face with you. “Oh shi-!”

Before it could say anything else, you fire your Eye Beams directly into the splitjaw’s skull. Your beams pierced straight through its eyes, the creature dropping dead. You then deactivate your Energy Blade, turning to the warrior.

“Ka-Huh?” she asks, to her you seemed to have disappeared. Turning around, she then sees you standing over a slain Sangheili, you turning to face her. “Oh! Well, uhh, thank you.”

“No problem.” you tell her, turning and dropping into your stance as you sense several more approaching. “Shit! Stay back.”
“Huh? Why?” she asks, looking around and not seeing anything. You sense another eight Sangheili all approaching you from different directions before you.
“There’s another eight of them.” you say, eyes darting back and forth as you track them. “You gotta get out of here, now.”
“But I can help!” she says, clenching her fists angrily.

“Can you see them?” you ask her, not taking your attention off of the eight of them. You don’t get an answer, the Saiyan behind you probably taking it too literally and staring out from around you. But you have no more attention to spare, as the nearest elite charges. With your right hand you push the Saiyan woman behind you down, twisting to the right and leaning back away as it closes the gap. You see it’s blade carves into your chestpiece, cutting a shallow line as its blade misses hitting you directly. Focusing on the creature’s ki you reach out, grabbing ahold of its arm with your left hand. The Sangheili starts becoming visible as you crush its arm in your hand, it crying out in pain. Before it can do anything else you place your right hand’s pointer finger to its head, blasting straight through its skull at the second one rushing you. Your beam kills both creatures, you dropping the one in your grip.

“KILL HIM!” one of the others shouts out, the remaining half-dozen becoming visible as they all rush you at once. You leap over the fastest of the six, twisting as you flip over its head. You grab it by the back of the head with your left hand, firing two quick Death Beams with your right through its chest. With another three down and only three to go, they switch their strategy and all draw different weapons, you recognizing the pink crystals protruding from one of them. Before they can fire, however, you watch as the Saiyan you’d pushed aside rises up with an Energy Blade in her left hand, takes careful aim, then stabs the center one through the back of its neck. The last two turn towards her completely surprised, you taking advantage of their opening and firing another pair of Death Beams. Your blasts take the last two through the heads, dropping them before they could attack her.

“You alright?” you ask her, walking over as she deactivates her blade.
“I’m fine.” she says, dusting herself off. “I’m Cassa by the way.”
“Good job Cassa.” you say with a nod, then turning your gaze skyward as more than two dozen Covenant warships begin descending. “Do you know the Power Ball?”
“Yeah, why do you a.... Oh.” she says, looking up as well.

“The weak point is their cannon.” you say to Cassa, floating a bit up off the ground as you begin gathering power in your right palm. “As they charge that weapon up, firing a strong enough attack into it can destroy an entire ship.”
“Wait, really?” she asks, you nodding to her.
“It’s important for you to spread this to everyone.” you tell her, lifting your hand over your head as you send more and more power into it. “I’ll handle this, but I really need you to tell everyone. Can you do it?”
“Of course. I won’t fail you.” she says seriously, giving you a Saiyan salute then blasting off and away, leaving you alone to face the next wave.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=5s9xI_D7qhU

As you gather your ki into your right palm, you have a revelation: with how you combine your energy for your Final Flash, could you could do the same for your Super Energy Bomb? You decide to test it out, creating another ball of ki in your left hand. You pour your energy out into both hands, making the two kis match as close as you can, then slamming them together. You have to struggle to merge them together, but the strain is well worth it as you feel the two kis begin to merge. The two blasts merge into one massive attack, the ki multiplying itself over dozens of times as you hold this new attack overhead. This new and enhanced Super Energy Bomb is massively more powerful than any you’ve fired before, its so large you cannot see anything up past it. You feel a smug grin creep its way onto your face, this will certainly do some damage.

“TAKE THIS!!!” you roar, heaving the attack up into the sky. It doesn’t travel quickly, but for an attack that massive it doesn’t need to. You can sense some of the ships trying to fly out of the way, but it’s already too late. You watch as your attack soars up into the air, its mass pulling the Covenant ship to it as it simply consumes the dozens of warships directly in its path. Once you sense your attack is roughly in the middle of the swarm of ships above you who’d been trying to take advantage of the gap in Tamaranean coverage you clench a fist, the massive sphere of ki glowing brighter and brighter until it explodes. The detonation is earth-shattering, you having to shield yourself from the overwhelming force of the blast. It slams hard into you, and despite bracing for it you are nearly toppled, the force smashing you down almost up to your knees into the rocky ground. Your eyes had shut as the ball exploded into piercing light, but you’d still sensed the results. The blast was so massive it consumed nearly a hundred Covenant warships, blasting straight up past the atmosphere and frying a few dozen in space as well.

-Event Horizon learned-

You’ve successfully cleared the way for the Tamaraneans to move back into position, covering this area as well. But this battle is far from over.
cont

>>2729117
You remain where you are for several moments after the shocks subside, you then sag as you drop your arms, panting from the exertion. You don’t yet drop your Super Saiyan form, closing your eyes and extending your senses to try and get a better feel for the battle.

The single-strongest powerlevel you can sense is still of course Lord Freeza on the far side of the planet’s space, obliterating dozens of Covenant warships within a few seconds. You then sense Meloka still with the Guardian, the Covenant’s numbers around them severely depleted. You still sense the two groups of ships that snuck through gaps in the orbital defenses, one group headed towards Meloka while another seems to be approaching a decently-large force of a few hundred Oozaru at the southern end of the continent. Those holes in space haven’t been plugged yet, several hundred ships having slipped through each so far. Elsewhere, you can sense different groups of Oozaru battling other Covenant ships that have gotten through, many of your friends and close allies leading those groups. And each group of Saiyans seem to be holding their own, at least for now. However the Tamaraneans aren’t faring so well, you only sensing around two-thirds of their initial numbers. And several more holes have opened in their defensive perimeter, more Saiyans now engaged in battle across the continent. Perhaps its time to call them back?

Well?

“Koriand’r, Komand’r, can you both hear me?” you ask them both telepathically as you pull your feet out from the ground.
“What is it Karn, we’re kinda busy up here.” Komand’r replies, seemingly irritated. “This shit isn’t easy.”
“What my sister said.” Koriand’r says. “We are rather busy after all.”
“That’s the thing, you guys need a break.” you tell them, stretching out your arms as you pop your neck. “You’re taking too many casualties. You both get your people down to the arena, I’ll have Raven open the portal for you all. Get you and your people to Planet Azar, and take a break. This battle is far from over.”
“Dammit, fine.” Komand’r says, you feeling her energy suddenly double above you. She must be using her gem now. “Come on little sister.”
“Very well. We shall do as you ask.” Koriand’r says, both ending the mental link with you. That done, you take off towards Leyas and Sarada’s group to the south. You sense Cassa’s almost made it back to the city, nothing having stopped her headlong rush as you approach an army of Oozaru standing on the beach and in the woods, a few dozen non-transformed Saiyans defending Power Balls scattered through the sky. As you approach, you recognize the two standing before the others and clearly in charge as Leyas and Sarada, you flying up to the two of them.

“Well well, look who came to join us.” Sarada booms out in her now-massive voice.
“Good to see everyone’s ready.” you reply. “You already have a plan?”
“We’re ready.” Leyas speaks up. “We’ll fire at them from here, blasting their warships and fighters while protecting the Power Balls for maximum effect.”
“Sounds like a plan.” you say, nodding. “I’ll stay out of your way, But head’s up, the Tamaraneans are about to retreat. We’ll have more incoming shortly.”
“Of course we will!” Sarada shouts angrily, turning to the gathered Oozaru and changing their formation. What was a line between the Covenant and the Power Balls transforms into a loose dome of giant ape-like creatures, ready for battle on all sides.
“They’re here!” Leyas roars out, you turning to where he’s pointing. Oh, they’re certainly here.

“Ready!” Sarada roars, you sensing the hundreds of Oozaru all gathering their power to attack at once. You float down to Leyas’ shoulder as you sense this, determined to stay out of the way. This is gonna be good.
“Aim!” he roars, leaning forward and opening his mouth, massive amount of ki gathered in preparation to strike.
“FIRE!!” the twins roar out simultaneously, every single Oozaru firing as one at the incoming fleet. Your eyes widen a bit in shock, you had clearly underestimated your allies. You could certainly block any one attack, hell any ten of these attacks. But all of them? You’d be destroyed. Just like the fleet of Covenant warships. You watch in awe, feeling rather humbled a bit as their attacks completely obliterate at least 60 Covenant warships, another dozen or so dropping from the sky in various states of ruin to crash into the waters below.

When your allies attacks finally all stop, you spring forward into action to cover their recovery period. You quickly dash to the remaining ships, leaving a golden trail behind as you close in on the first one. You drive your fists into the craft’s nose then with a mighty shout swing it like a hammer. You smash it down perpendicular across another two ships, the three exploding and dropping from the air as well. You travel from ship to ship, eiter brute forcing them into each other, carving them up with Death Slashes, or penetrating them with a few well-placed Energy Javelins. In less than a minute that entire fleet is gone, either obliterated or sunk beneath the waves. You then fly back to Leyas and Sarada, sensing the Covenant approaching you all from overhead as the Tamaraneans retreat to the arena.

“Shit, they’re everywhere.” Leyas rumbles, looking up into the sky.
“Well, it’ll be hard to miss now.” Sarada says, clenching her massive fists.

What now?

“I’ll help cover the Power Balls!” you shout to Leyas, dashing over to the rest of the non-Oozaru Saiyans. “Alright everyone, let’s do this.”
“Yes Sir!!” they all shout, giving you a Saiyan salute then taking their positions. You take your position at the top of the defensive formation, then call down to the rest.
“If you see one of the warships preparing to fire it’s underside laser, call it out!” you shout, flaring your golden aura up in preparation for battle. “That’s their weakness. Call it out, and blast it! A single good attack to that can destroy an entire warship!”
“Wait, really?” one asks, you recognizing the speaker as Kabuya back from the battle against Demongo. “It’ll really take one of those things out, in one shot?”
“Yeah, just wait and see.” you say confidently, gathering your ki in each hand into an Energy Javelin as you sense their arrival. “Everyone, get ready. Here they come!”

Everyone looks skyward as you call it out, watching in fear as hundreds of Covenant warships begin descending. You all watch as the Oozaru begin opening fire, blasting a few dozen down. But as more and more descend, getting safely inside the atmosphere, they begin deploying their attack ships. A wave of single-pilot attack ships descend on New Salda, a wave crashing against a rocky shore. You all fire your attacks against the attacking wave, you quickly shifting from precision attacks to wide, area-of-effect attacks. You fire wave after wave of energy into the approaching fighters, you and the other non-Oozaru Saiyans fighting desperately to protect the Power Balls you’re guarding. You blast ships apart by the score, keeping them all back, but there’s just too many of them! One blast slips over your right shoulder, blasting one of the three dozen Power Balls behind you.

“DAMMIT!!” you roar, unleashing a volley of Death Slashes up into the attackers. Your conjured blades slice through the ships without resistance, carving paths of destruction through them. As you fight on and on, you finally see the attacking fighters begin to thin out, and after another minute or two you all have destroyed the fighters. But they were just to keep you occupied. Looking up towards the warships, you see they’ve spread out in the space above you all, over two dozen of them prepared to fire.

“Shit! Get behind m-me?” you say, your thoughts interrupted by an odd darkness spreading in the sky behind them. What the hell is that? Wait, it couldn’t be-!

”AHH HAA HAA HAA HAAAAAA!” you hear a familiar voice call out, a face appearing in the darkness.

“AKU!!” you shout, recognizing that demonic face.
“I apologize for being late.” he says in a loud, booming voice. ”These foolish Covenant warriors showed up several days too early. Hold on, let me clear out this rabble!”

You all watch in amazement as tendrils of pure darkness begin expanding out from him. His tendrils begin wrapping around the Covenant warships, pulling them all into himself. You aren’t sure what happens to them, but once he absorbs them into his darkness you can no longer sense the powerlevels of the tens of millions of Covenant soldiers he suddenly pulled from the battle. Most of the other Saiyans are unnerved by this display of power, yourself included. Once the sky’s cleared he descends to the ground before you like a giant spike, his form returning to its usual shape. He then throws his colossal arms wide, as if greeting an old friend in public, and not having just disappeared tens of millions of souls.

“Greetings Karn, long time no see!” he says by way of greeting, his voice much less booming as you float over to him. “How have you been? I saw the battle begin on Vox, and headed out immediately.”
“Been training my ass off for this.” you say, holding a hand out to him. Another, smaller version of himself sprouts from his hand, shaking your hand. “How about yourself?”
“Oh, you know, been busy raising the girls.” he says and gestures behind him as seven figures slowly rise up from his massive palms behind his smaller form. You only knew the one from before, but never got a read on her.

“Greetings, Daughters of Aku.” you say, giving them a Saiyan salute.
“Greetings, Super Saiyan Karn.” they all say together, bowing slightly to you. The lead then turns to the smaller Aku, speaking in a voice you recognize. “What would you have us do, Father?”
“Good question.” he answers her, then turns to you. “What do you say? My daughters have all my own powers, but to a somewhat lesser degree after all. How do you think we could contribute best to this little battle of yours?”

Well? What would you have them do?

“You all know your strengths better than me, go fight as you will.” you tell the daughters, then turn to Aku. “However, we can’t fight in space like you can.”
“Unfortunately, neither can my beloved daughters.” Aku says with a sigh. “Unlike myself, they are all part mortal. They cannot handle fighting in the void of space for very long. But I have no such limitations, I’ll take the fight directly to these pests! Have fun girls!”
“Have fun Father.” they say as one, and with that Aku’s body extends, stretching thinner and thinner until he disappears up out of sight. The seven daughters all shapeshift into massive flying creatures, each of them taking off in different directions. You drift back down to the ground, you relaxing a bit with the immediate battle ended, everyone catching their breath.

“Okay... What the hell WAS that?” Kabuya asks, landing beside you and looking really disturbed.
“That’s Aku.” you say casually, as if him ending tens of million of lives in a terrifying manner didn’t shake you. “I’ve done a few jobs for him before, he’s pretty alright.”
“Y-Yeaaah, if you say so.” she says, clearly not convinced.
“He gave me this too, after taking down one of his rogue lieutenants.” you say, holding up the Bloodstone. “It allows me to stockpile my energy, saving it for later when I need it.”
“Okay, now that’s pretty useful.” she says, examining the gemstone in your hand. But then she turns her attention as you both see a large black dragon suddenly appear, breathing fire into the sky over the city and blasting over a hundred warships. You sense the Daughters’ handiwork, spreading death amongst the Covenant forces. But even though there are seven of them, they don’t hold a candle to their father. Aku is causing death on a scale you can barely comprehend, hundreds of millions of people already destroyed by the Master of Darkness. You follow his path of carnage with your ki sense, when suddenly you sense something else. Something big.

“Aku, what is that?” you ask him telepathically, you getting an awful feeling in your gut. The approaching ki seems familiar, yet different. You can’t quite place it, but its worrying.
“See for yourself.” he replies, you blinking as you’re looking out into the void of space. And you see something rather odd.

You see through what you assume are Aku’s eyes, watching a mass of what seem to be crystals seemingly headed straight for you. It seems eerily familiar, and as it closes in you can finally see something familiar about it. In the center of the crystal mass you see a familiar-looking lizard god. But before you can say anything it charges straight into Aku’s darkness, releasing a massive storm of lightning into him. You feel the pain of that attack as well through the link, severing the mental link with Aku to avoid the pain as you fall to your side, clutching your head and screaming out in agony.

“Wait, Karn? What’s wrong, what’s happening?” Kabuya shouts, freaking out as you collapse. Then everyone panicks as that massive crystal mass slams into the ground nearby, kicking up a wall of dust as the ground shakes. You push yourself to your feet in a panic, facing the creature as it rises to its feet, roaring out in challenge.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=ku8FkmM3QEI

Several Oozaru rush the creature, roaring back at it. But they’re no chance. The beast opens its mouth, firing a mass of lightning and frying the dozen Saiyans who’d tried to attack it. The rest freeza in place at this display, you taking the initiative.

“Everyone, get out of here now!!” you roar, leaping up into the sky and flaring your golden aura wide around yourself. “Go help the others, I’ll hold it off!!”
“Right! Everyone, MOVE!!” Leyas roars, everyone fleeing back towards the city. But the creature focuses entirely on you, its hate-filled eyes not leaving you.
“Recognize me, huh?” you ask the beast, seeing an odd scar carved into its chest. You stare a moment, making out the carvings as words:

From me to you, filthy Saiyan.

”Dammit, this could be a problem.” you think to yourself, watching as a few stray lightning bolts dance around the creature’s crystals. This thing’s attack was somehow able to actually hurt Aku, and you didn’t know that that was possible. You have to stop it here, you cannot allow this thing to attack anyone else. Well, time to see what it’s got!

“Alright, bring it on then!” you roar, gathering your power into your palms and firing a Dual Energy Wave at its face. The creature roars out, again firing its lightning blast. Your waves strike it’s lightning, the current dancing up along your waves right at you. You see that you have only a single moment to act, you releasing your attack and making an Afterimage. You leave the image where you were as you drop to the ground, gathering your ki for your next attack as the Afterimage is torn to shreds. That moment its eyes are off of you allows you to charge up your next attack undisturbed, you then leaping back into the air and firing an Energy Javeling at the creature’s left knee. Your attack buries itself halfway inside that giant knee, exploding after a moment. The creature roars out in pain, electricity bursting out from it randomly in every direction. You’re forced to leap back, swatting aside the lightning with a few Death Slashes. The creature’s lightning seems to stick mostly to your attacks, allowing you to back away freely.

“Come on you giant bastard, die already!!” you roar, firing a Death Beam square into the giant lizard’s forehead. Your bean pierces right into it’s hide, your aim true. The creature freezes as your attack hits it, you thinking for a moment that you’ve done it. But those hopes are soon dashed, the beast again roaring. This time it makes an even bigger lightning storm than before, you preparing to shield yourself. But before it can hit you, a giant sphere of ki blasts down between you and the creature, drawing the lightning towards itself and directing it into the ground. You look up in surprise, smiling at your wife’s timely appearance.

“Why does everyone in the universe want a piece of you Karn?” Meloka asks you with a smile as she floats down beside you. “Don’t they know you’re mine?”

We cant do much of anything without checking if the Doctor has been on that planet in the last 20 years, incinerating any labs from orbit, blowing up the continent around the site from orbit, and then sending in probes to scan every inch of land while we check for power levels from orbit. “Great timing hun.” you say, pulling Meloka into a quick kiss. She doesn’t object, you activating your Barrier to keep anyting from ruining the moment as you close your eyes, enjoying the simple pleasure. After a few moments you seperate, the two of you examining the beast behind the safety of your Barrier. It discharges lightning at you again, this time the electricity running harmlessly off of your shield.

“Piercing attacks don’t seem to be incredibly effective. I hit it in the forehead with a Death Beam and it didn’t do anything.” you tell her, watching as the creature builds a storm of electricity around itself. “None of my other regular attacks seemed very effective either. Probably going to have to go big against this thing if we want to put it down.”
“How big?” Meloka asks you. “You want to go all out against this thing?”
“I don’t want to, but I don’t have any better ideas. Do you have one?” you ask. She shakes her head no, you just nodding to her. She clenches her fists, and with a shout she Ascends. You Ascend as well, your powers now roughly on par with the big crystal lizard’s.

“Alright you bastard, round two!” you shout, you and Meloka dropping into your fighting stances as it roars again, then stares you both down. The three of you stand and float as if frozen, no one moving. The beast’s lightning crackles around it, you seeing most of it coming from the two largest crystals on its back. You and Meloka have lightning dancing around your auras as well, but not to the same degree as the creature.

What will you do?

Maybe some sort of death beam cannon would be more effective, if a regular death beam can't pierce it's skull.

“Alright, I’ve got a plan.” you say to Meloka, not taking your eyes off of the beast. “I’m going to rush at it, keeping that lizard’s focus on me. Charge up an attack you think can put this thing down, and hit it while I’ve got it distracted. Maybe you can put this thing down in one good shot.”
“Alright, let’s do it.” she says, flying back out of the safety of your Barrier. You charge headlong at the beast, roaring in challenge as you keep your Barrier up. It roars back, discharging a wave of electricity at you. Your shield tanks the hit effortlessly, not even slowing your charge.

“RRRRAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, pulling the energy from your Barrier into an Energy Punch as you pass through its electricity, you now less than five feet from its face. You pull your right fist back, ready. “TAKE THIS!!”

As you roar out you slam your Energy Fist square into the beast’s nose, it crying out in outrage as your massive hit stumbles the beast. It slams its tail to the ground for support, keeping its bulk from falling over. While it is distracted by keeping itself upright you rush in again, charging your energy into both pointer fingers then firing a Death Beam into each of its eyes. This time your attack gets results, your beams piercing through the beast’s massive eyes. The creature roars out in pain, blinded and disoriented as it begins discharging electricity in every direction. Again you reactivate your Barrier, it shielding your body from the storm of lightning from the beast. It roars in pain as the lightning storm keeps increasing in intensity.

“Karn, MOVE!!” Meloka roars out, you leaping aside as you turn to see her attack. And you can’t say you’re not impressed. Meloka floats alone in the sky, hands clasped over her head holding a massive pillar of ki. Wait, is that a giant ki blade? “Take this! Heaven’s Blade!!”

Meloka rushes the lizard with her arms over her head, the blade pulling the lightning to it. She grits her teeth as its lightning hits her, but she stays the course. She flies right up to it, then swings her titanic blade down. It catches the beast on the left side of its neck, slicing completely down through it and cutting through its right hip. The creature roars in pain as it falls apart, the two pieces falling to the ground seperately. She did it!

“That was ama-!” you start to say, flying over to her. You watch as Meloka deactivates her blade, turning to you with a smile. But the fight wasn’t over yet. The top half of the lizard roars, firing a burst of red lighting from its mouth at Meloka. She doesn’t have time to move, time to react, as the lightning engulfs her. She cries out in agony, you watching in outrage as the red bolts trap her within.

What will you do?

“MELOKA!” you shout, body already moving. You blast straight over to her, dashing headlong into the storm of red lightning and grabbing on to her. The lightning crackles through your body, you wrapping your arms around Meloka then rebuilding your Barrier around you both. lt takes far longer than usual, the lightning disrupting the usual flow of ki through your body, but after a few moments you cobble enough ki together to force your barrier back into existance. It takes what feels like an eternity for your Barrier to solidify, but when it does the lightning raging through your bodies disappears. Meloka sags against you, body going limp like a marionette with it’s strings cut. You sigh out, relaxing yourself and returning to your base form, Meloka having already reverted. You keep the barrier up for another minute, the lightning suddenly stopping as you feel the creature’s ki dwindle further and further until nothing remains.

Once the beast is dead you deactivate your Barrier and drift to the ground, sitting down and holding Meloka curled up in your lap as you extend your senses to see how the battle is progressing. You can’t sense the Tamaraneans anymore, them having gone through Raven’s portal. The Saiyans are fighting the Covenant warships themselves, easily holding their own as the Daughters of Aku rampage freely, destroying warships by the score. As best you can tell, five of them are rampaging over the ocean as the other two take to battle over the mainland. You sense Freeza still destroying warships up in space, his strength finally beginning to decrease. And you sense another swathe of ships disappearing, Aku clearly having recovered from that attack.

As for the battles near you, the Guardian is standing alone on his island, facing a massive wave of warships by himself. Tatsu and the twins Leyas and Sarada are defending the city, along with King Vegeta and over a thousand Saiyans, some Oozaru and others not. Further north you sense Calle and Turles have met up with Nappa’s group, fighting another group of invaders. Lastly, you sense Tunnip and Bardock leading another group, facing down another group of warships. In a half-dozen places warships are pouring through from space, mostly over the ocean.

As you contemplate your next move Meloka stirrs in your arms, her eyes opening slowly.
“K-Karn?” she asks you, clearly disoriented. “Wha... What happened?”
“Don’t worry, you got him.” you say, pulling her close to you and hugging her. She doesn’t question it, just curling up to you and relaxing. The battle is still raging across the planet, but for now the two of you could share a moment of peace.

What will you do?
>Go help the Guardian
>Go help defend the city
>Help Nappa’s group

You let Meloka rest a minute or so before floating up to your feet, still holding her in your arms. She doesn’t seem too disappointed, just letting out a small sigh and asks, “Back to work?”

“Yeah, back to work. Our break’s over.” you tell her as you lift off, flying over toward the Guardian’s island. She remains in your arms for the trip, you taking it slow and not pushing yourself to give you a bit more time to recover. But in just two short minutes you arrive, witnessing how the Guardian does battle. At first you can’t make sense of what you’re seeing, the Covenant ships seemingly steering into and crashing against each other. You then look down and see the Guardian, your jaw dropping in surprise. He’s standing atop his rock as usual, but the fact that its floating, along with another dozen smaller boulders and they all have blue glowing runes running along them surprises you. The Guardian’s ki shrinks a little bit further, the blue aura surrounding him growing noticably larger as he holds out his hands then brings them together, a dozen Covenant warships following his hands’ movements and slam into each other. You watch in awe as his hands weave a symphony of destruction, destroying their warships long before they can approach his island. But the large warships aren’t the only threat. You sense a half dozen of the splitjaws rushing towards him under the cover of their invisibility.

“Look out!!” you shout down to him worriedly, the Guardian turning his head towards you. You’re taken aback by his expression, one full of confidence. You watch as the hidden powerlevels approach, a small metal device flies from his robes into his hand. With an audible hum an ultra-dense green blade of ki springs from the device, the Guardian moving in a blur. He moves to each of the six powerlevels faster than they can react, flipping around them in a blur sevetal times each then returning to his rock, blade held up in both hands. When he deactivates his blade, the half-dozen Sangheili all become visible, falling to the sand in chunks. He then returns the device inside his robe, sitting down with a heavy sigh as the rocks all drop back to the ground.

“Good to see you, it is.” the elderly alien says, the blue glow disappearing. “Excellent timing, you have. Take over for me, will you? A rest, I need.”
“Of course.” you say, Meloka floating out of your arms to float up beside you. You both transform into Super Saiyans, facing down the more than a hundred Covenant warships.

What now?

You look to Meloka, her nodding back as you both lift an arm skyward. You lift your right as Meloka lifts her left, your hands touching as you both begin pouring your energies together. A sphere of ki begins forming above the two of you as the Covenant warships begin firing at the island with their turrets. The Guardian simply lifts one of his fingers from his relaxed meditative state, one of the rocks floating up in front of him. You and Meloka simply stay where you are, charging your attack up to its fullest. You both remain steadfast, the shots from the smaller guns barely more than beestings to you anymore.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=hLDtlBlSLxA&t=10s

You both pour more and more ki into the attack, the sphere growing larger and larger with each passing moment. You watch as the warships begin releasing a swarm of fighters, the small ships desperately trying to reach you both to stop what’s about to happen. But its too late.

“Ready?” you ask Meloka.
“Ready!” she replies, you both turning back towards the attacking fleet.
“TAKE THIS!!” you both roar out in unison, lobbing the massive bomb of ki forward. You can sense the blast consuming the wave of smaller fighters, the ball not even slowing as it destroys them. It continues uninterrupted towards the approaching Covenant ships, as well as where they’re pouring forth from the sky. You watch intently, waiting for the right moment.
“Now!” the Guardian suddenly shouts, you both reacting immediately.
“HAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you both shout, clenching your fists and detonating the massive attack. It explodes in a blinding flash of light, searing your eyes. But you keep moving, pulling Meloka to you and turning, shielding her from the shock of the blast. The shockwave knocks you out of the air, you spinning uncontrollably until you slam back-first into what feels like sand, still holding Meloka tight. You both lay there a few moments, and you’re still on the ground when a massive wave crashes over the two of you. You both sputter and cough up water as you sit up, looking back towards where your attack went off. You can’t see any ships still remaining, sensing very few Covenant still alive in the waves. You rise to your feet, helping Meloka back up as well as you both survey the battlefield. But before you can, you see hundreds more of the Covenant ships descending before your eyes.

”You have fought well, Saiyans.” a booming voice calls out. ”But it is time to put an end to this.”

QM STRATEGY REPORT

Casualties for each faction:
>Covenant
22,638/30,000 remaining warships.
>Tamaraneans
209/302, all off-world.
>Saiyans
5935/6109, all now on-world.

And for morale:
>Covenant
Falling, but rallied a bit with this fresh wave several times larger than the previous ones.
>Tamaraneans
Low, demoralized over having to leave the battlefield.
>Saiyans
Really high, with the arrival of King Vegeta and the others boosting it.

QM UPDATE

Just as a reminder: there will be no SCQ this coming weekend, as I will be out of state on vacation visiting family.
>>
>>2734383
That’s not to bad. The Tamaraneans were disappointing, but Saiyan casualties have been minimal, and with Aku here losses on the Covenant side are going to start getting really ugly. What’s Cooler up to by the way? Still waiting in the wings?
>>
>>2736085
The Tamaraneans spread themselves too thin, and got overwhelmed. Meanwhile most of the Saiyans stayed grouped together in the hundreds, and stayed alive. Aku and his daughters are causing serious damage, if they have(another) countermeasure it’ll be brought out soon. As for Cooler, Freeza’s given him the signal, the Emperor about to leave the battlefield to recover. He may have finally started training, but his stamina is still extremely poor.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 51 Epilogue I-

AGE 741, NEW SALDA SPACE

“Ohohohohoho!!” you laugh maniacally as hundreds of thousands of Covenant soldiers die by your hand. You can almost taste their desperation as with a wave of your hand and a pittance of your energy you obliterate another two of their warships. “Come, who will be the next to die at the hands of the mighty Freeza?!”

You are Lord Freeza; friend to the Super Saiyan Karn, master of the PTO, and known throughout the universe for your unstoppable power. Or at least, you’d thought you were. The Covenant seem to either be ignorant of your power, or simply wish to die by your hand. And if that is the case, well then you’re happy to oblige. Their bulky warships are no match for you, you barely exerting any energy to keep blowing them away by the dozens. They are no match for the perfect power that is Freeza. But your strength wasn’t always this absolute, this overwhelming. Before your training with Karn this level of power was around your limits. But now? You’ve not even fully tapped into half of your maximum strength. And it was all thanks to Karn. As you telekinetically grab a half-dozen warships and slam them all together so hard they explode, you remember fondly back to your very first day of training...

“I-I did it.” you’d said, laying exhausted on your back. You had done it! You did one hundred each of what he called push-ups, and sit-ups, feeling a foreign burning sensation in your arms and core. You’d flopped back onto your back after finishing the last one, sucking air desperately for someone who could breathe in the vaccum of space.
“Not bad, Lord Freeza.” Karn had said, doing some sort of wierd, vertical pushups. He’d left you behind in his exercises long ago, going through seemingly more and more difficult motions. You’d paid close attention to what he did despite your own struggles. “Ready to move onto the next part?”
“N-Next part?!” you ask, stunned. You’d barely managed to push through thie little bit he’d had you do, and yet you’re already more exhausted than you could ever remember being before. You smile, remembering that you’d thought to yourself, “What the hell was he trying to do, kill me?”

If you’d known how hard it would’ve gotten back then, you aren’t sure you would have done it. But as you destroy another dozen Covenant warships with a swipe of your hand, you chuckle to yourself. “Oh, it was absolutely worth every single drop of blood, sweat, and tears it took to make me this strong.” you think to yourself.
cont
>>
>>2740820
“DAMMIT!” you shout, collapsing face-first to the ground as your arms give way. You’d been doing push-ups again for the second time on that first day, and had just made it up to 98 when your arms completely gave out on you. Your nose slammed hard into the ground, giving way with an audible crunch. Your eyes water as your nose breaks, the stinging pain a brand new sensation as you feel something wet on your lips. You simply lay there, panting in exhaustion for several seconds until Karn walks over to you. But something’s off, he’s not his usual self around you now.

“C’mon Freeza you’re not done yet!” he shouts, standing over and yelling at you. “Get your ass moving, you’re not done until I say you’re done!”
“Don’t! You tell! Me! What! To do!” you shout angrily between breaths, pushing yourself upright. But just before you can get a knee under yourself to stand, he does the unexpected.
“Ninty-nine!” Karn shouts, stomping your back just hard enough to push you back down flat on the ground. “C’mon, get up! You’ve got one more in you!”

“You.... Impudent...!” you snarl out, glaring up at Karn. How, how DARE he? He’ll pay for this, for daring to treat you in such a way! Your glare turns deadly as you fire a pair of Eye Beams directly at his head. They quickly close the distance, but Karn is even faster. He doesn’t even move, but you watch as he transforms into a Super Saiyan just before your attack hits. You watch, stunned, as your beams take him directly on the chin, knocking his head backwards and staggering him back a half-step. But Karn doesn’t fall. Instead, he simply leans back towards you, glaring at you again.

“If you’ve got enough strength for that, you’ve got plenty enough for another hundred push-ups!” he says, glaring hard at you. You actually gulp a bit at the demonstration, the realization truly hitting you for the first time: Karn could kill you. As you both are now it wouldn’t even be a challenge for him, what with how long it takes you to transform and all. But he’s not. In fact he doesn’t even seem phased by your outburst, and hasn’t retaliated. But why? Why woul-?

Suddenly, another realization hits you: you did another push-up! When he was talking down at you he’d knowingly angered you, making you push you further than you thought you could go. That entire encounter was his way of pushing you even further beyond your limits!
cont
>>
>>2740822
“You.... Clever bastard.” you say to Karn, a chuckle escaping your throat. “You did that on purpose, didn’t you?””
“Yup. Its how my first teacher trained me.” Karn says, looking off into his memories for a moment before shaking his head, refocusing. “And now I’m sharing his teachings with you. Get mad, Lord Freeza. Harness that anger, and use it to push yourself forward! You’ve always got more to give, until you’ve passed out. So keep pushing forward!”

“I won’t forget, Karn.” you mutter to yourself as you blow away another dozen Covenant warships, shaking off the memories. You’ve been up here above New Salda for awhile now, the Tamaraneans having long ago retreated to regather their strength. You and Aku are all that stand between the full might of the Covenant fleet and New Salda itself, you doing your best to prevent Karn and the others from being overwhelmed. You’ve begun to pant in exhaustion some time ago, missing the energy you had been casually throwing around earlier. But you can’t stop now, with more and more Covenant incoming all the time. You play Karn’s advice over and over in your head, your fury at the Covenant giving you the strength to keep pressing on.

You fight on until you get the signal from Raven that the Tamaraneans are ready to go, you then telepathically telling Cooler that it’s time. With one last effort you blast away, energy exploding out from your body and consuming over a hundred ships instantly. With the path cleared, you descend back to the planet as the Tamaraneans rejoin the fray, you blasting a few more ships on your way down. You quickly find the portal to Planet Azar, stepping through it and dropping down in the dirt, exhausted. Before you know it you’re unconscious, dreams of training and THAT day. The day everything changed, and you felt something else to your strength. Something deeper, something... More.
cont
>>
>>2740823
It had started out as a training day much like the others. Wake up, eat breakfast, meet with Karn and Meloka and enter the Gravity Chamber, then get to work. You’d gone through your morning warm-ups, and sparred the two of them with Energy Blades between intense exercises. But that day you’d felt something stirring within you, your body reacting strangely to the training you’d been doing. But no matter what you did, you couldn’t bring forth this power you’d felt slowly awakening inside. As the day wore on you grew more and more frustrated, eventually quitting your workout and rising to your feet.

“Lord Freeza?” Karn asked you, but before answering you unleased your power and quickly ascended to your final form. Both Karn and Meloka watch you confused, you gesturing to the both of them.
“Come at me.” you tell them, taking your arms-spread stance. “I can feel something within me, but I cannot yet reach it. Come, see if you two can force this power to manifest itself!”

Karn looks over at Meloka, his wife shrugging at him. They both turn back to you, transforming into their Ascended forms. You’d learned to tell the difference, most noticeably the lightning dancing around their bodies.

“As you wish, Lord Freeza.” Karn says, the two of them immediately rushing at you. With over a month of training with the pair in your metaphorical belt, you’ve learned how they both move when sparring. This knowledge is all that is keeping you one step ahead of the two of them. But only barely. Karn and Meloka keep attacking you from different directions, forcing you to stay on the defensive and never giving you a chance to retaliate. Their tactics allow the pair to quickly begin overwhelming you, more and more hits breaking through your guard until finally they both hit you, flipping around to both face you and punching you in the chest as one. Their fists slam into you, sending you crashing into the far wall. You feel the back of your head hit the wall, falling limply to the ground completely disoriented.

“Alright that’s it, take five.” Karn says, he and Meloka reverting back to normal. But you’re not yet done.
“Not... Yet.” you say, rising unsteadily to your feet. You feel a burning inside you, as something begins rising up from within. “I’m. Not. Done!”
cont
>>
>>2740824
“More...” you mumble out, staggering to your feet as you feel that power beginning to swell. “Need... More...”
“Uhhh, you okay Freeza?” Karn asked, you clenching your fists and tuning him out. You can feel it, that power now welling up from within you like a raging storm. You grab ahold of this power, pulling it out from within you.

“SHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar out, forcing this new power welling up from within to manifest. Your aura shifts from its usual purple to a more golden hue, your ki skyrocketing as you struggle to hold onto this power. Its like nothing you’ve ever felt before, the sheer power overwhelming your senses as you scream in agony. This power tears through you like lightning, your body unable to contain it. This wild strength surges out of control, your body jerking around uncontrollably. “This is it.” you think to yourself, your onsciousness fading. “This is how I-“

SLAM

Your eyes widen in surprise as something slams into your face hard enough to crack a moon. The strike slams you into the far wall of the Gravity Chamber, you sticking to the wall a moment before dropping back to the ground face-first. You look up and see Karn standing fist-out as the lightning from his Ascended aura crackles around him. He drops the transformation immediately, rushing over to you.

“Lord Freeza, are you alright?” he asks you, kneeling down to you looking concerned.
“I’m... I’m fine.” you say, laying there panting. That hurt like hell, your body felt like it was splitting apart at the seams. You simply remain where you fell, trying to catch your breath. “Wha-What was that?”
“I was hoping you could tell me.” Karn says, sighing out. Suddenly you all hear something, everyone turning as a small figure hobbles his way into the Gravity Chamber.
“Awakened, you have.” your grandfather’s master says, smiling down at you.
“Awakened?” you ask him. “What do you mean?”
“Like your grandfather, your potential, you’ve begun to unlock.” he explains. “More to your power, there is. Begun to discover yourself, you have.”

But the dream/memory/whatever it is begins crumbling, you regaining consciousness as someone’s shaking you and shouting your name.
cont
>>
>>2740826
“Freeza.... Freeza, are you okay?” you hear a voice asking you, you struggling a moment then forcing yourself fully awake. Blinking a few times you see the pale face of that witch Raven, the relief visible on her face as she sees you awaken. She seemed really panicked, confirmed by her first words. “There’s a problem.”
“Problem?” you ask, stretching a bit as you sit up. “What’s wrong?”
“I can’t open a portal to New Salda anymore.” Raven says, clearly bothered. “I can’t reach them telepathically either. Something terrible happening over there, I just know it!”

You close your eyes, focusing on trying to reach Karn or your brother telepathically, but its bo use. Whatever the Covenant have done, they’ve cut you off. You snarl in frustration, rising quickly back to your feet.

“F-Freeza?” she asks you, confused. “Wha-?”
“That’s LORD Freeza to you.” you say distractedly, dusting yourself off then closing your eyes to focus. You’d seen the starmaps, and knew New Salda’s general position compared to Planet Azar’s. You try focusing in on Karn and Meloka’s ki, their signatures the largest probable targets to find, when you sense something. Something ominous moving through the stars, something dangerous. It isn’t Cooler, and it certainly isn’t the Arbiter. But it is immensely powerful, and headed right for New Salda. If you can’t get there instantly, you’ll just have to do it the old fashioned way. “If we can’t teleport in, I’ll just have to fly there myself.”
“Through the void of space?” she asks, looking you over curiously. “You can survive the vaccum of spce as well?”
“Of course I- Wait, what do you mean as well?” you ask, looking to her suspiciously. “You mean to tell me you can travel through the void of space as well?”
“Y-Yes, I can. And Ubo as well.” she says, pointing to the giant currently play fighting with Karn’s children. “I’ve been speaking with... Well, anyways we found out he can breathe in the void of space as well.”
“I see.” you say, not pressing her for details. It isn’t important who she was talking with anyways, there are more important issues at hand. “Bring him here. We’re leaving.”
“Now?” she asks, confused. You simply nod, the girl floating over to the giant, the two sharing a few words, then coming back to you with him in tow. “Alright, we’re ready.”
“Is Daddy okay?” Karn’s eldest asks, her young innocent face full of worry. “He’s not hurt is he?”
cont
>>
>>2740827
“Do not worry, he’s fine.” you say, putting on as genuine a smile as you can muster. “They just won’t let us use portals anymore, so we’re going out to fix that. Your father will have plenty of time off after this battle to spend with you, so behave until this is settled, okay?”
“OKAY!!” she shouts, clearly excited by the prospect of spending more time with her father. You feel something uneasy in your chest, you brushing it off and looking to the other two.

“Ready?” you ask them, the witch and giant nodding to you. “I’m not slowing down, so do your best to keep up.”
“I won’t be able to keep up with either of you.” the witch says, hanging her head in defeat. “I’ll remain here, let me know the moment their anti magic barrier is down.”
“Ubo will return.” the giant says, lifting her into a surprisingly gentle embrace, then setting her down. He doesn’t look back, instead he’s focused on you, eyes hard. “Ubo’s ready.”
“Then let us be off.” you say, crouching in preparation. Then with a shout you both leap, blasting up off the planet and towards New Salda. You both clear the atmosphere within seconds, flying out through the void of space. After a few minutes of silent flight, you have to admit you’re impressed. Somehow, that giant of a man is keeping pace with you. Despite the difference in sheer power you’d sensed, he’s able to keep pace. Then something else catches your attention. That massive, ominous powerlevel you’d sensed headed towards New Salda suddenly vanishes, disappearing without a trace.

“So it is some sort of barrier.” you think to yourself, sighing out. You’d worried ever since you couldn’t sense or communicate with Karn that he and New Salda had been completely destroyed, but nothing that obscenely powerful would just vanish. But now you have a new worry: it is now on New Salda.

“Ubo, we have to hurry!” you think to the giant, further increasing your speed. You’re worried for your friend, you hope you won’t arrive too late!

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 51 Epilogue I End-
>>
Lord Freeza a good friend.

Yes he is. And a good emperor as well, putting his own life out into the battle to help protecting the Saiyans. Who’d have ever thought Freeza would fight to save the Saiyan race?
>>
>>2740901
It's certainly a turn around from the days of us panicking about Freeza Day
>>
>>2740903
Its been fun and different to write Freeza as something other than just a trial for the protagonist to overcome. He’s still a person, and its been an interesting ride having him not as an enemy.

When it was first mentioned it would be Broly, 99.9% of fans rolled their eyes at that shit. And then the trailer comes out and it actually looks FLY AS FUCK. His design is actually cool, and Toriyama says he has updated and redone his background. Hopefully it won't be full retard 'fucking Kakarot drove my ass nuts crying'. The art and characters look amazing, and Goku looks the most 'Goku' he has in a long time. The animation looks fluid and amazing, like the bouncing up and down and shaking himself out that Goku did? Gorgeous.

More importantly, how will the new canon broly and LSS affect your portayal of broly and the legendary form going forward? It'd be interesting if canon broly ends up having an actual personality and backstory, and that ends up becoming a part of our broly's character, rather than just being a blank slate personality who's entire existence was the fact that he's too swole to control
>>
>>2746791
> how will the new canon broly and LSS affect your portayal of broly and the legendary form going forward?

Its going to be substantially better than our current one, no way around it. If Broly can go up against SSJ Blue in legendary form.

QM could always state that the legendary form we use now is more akin to a false state for berserk? Or Make new movie berserk more akin to legendary SSJ2?
>>
>>2746725
Kek.
>>2746773
With the new(and improved) art style, the colors look much better. Especially compared to old canon broly’s look with the white, gold, and red.
>>2746791
>>2746880
I have plans and backup plans, but we’ll have to see what happens with the movie.
>>
>>2746880
Well, i'd say it's better off leaving things as is for now, since karn almost certainly just won't ever use that form for the various reasons previously discussed.
Once he gets primal, there's no need to use LSS or for any real reason that i can see, if they're all considered roughly equal in power with their own individual benefits and drawbacks.
>>
>>2746905
New Broly's color scheme is still gross. It works for Piccolo because his purple is much less bright. It doesn't jump out at you as much as Broly's. And Broly's fur skirt thing is just a bit much. I think it would have been better off as something smaller, like a sash.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 51 Epilogue II-

“OOOOOH MAAAAAAH GAAAAAAAAWD!!” your grandfather shouts, watching the Saiyans fighting against the Covenant invasion. Nearly everyone in this place, the aptly-named Pirate’s Den, have their eyes glued to one of the dozen or so holoscreens. After all, not many wars are televised live in ultra high-definition.
“Hey you old bastard, pipe down!” a pompadour’d man says, shaking his fist. “I’m trynna watch those uppity apes get what comin’ to ‘em!”
“Ehh? You think those Saiyans’ll lose to those jokers?” he asks, incredulous. “Don’t make me laugh! I’ve watched them take down tougher odds before!”
“Ohhh? You wanna put your money where your mouth is you old bastard?” he taunts, a robot and a catman shaking their heads as both the man and your grandfather rising to their feet.

“Good grief.” you mutter, taking another swig of your cola. You are Jotaro Kujo: wielder of the mighty Stand Star Platinum, slayer of the vampire menace Dio, and grandson to the infamous Joseph Joestar. Currently the two of you are on vacation, you having defeated Dio thanks in part to the intense gravity training that Super Saiyan, Karn, gave you. You had been traveling on your way there to thank him, stopping here to refuel, when you’d learned that New Salda was under siege. You’d both left the ship, going inside to see how the battle was going. Two hours later you’re both still here, watching the fight.

“Ten thousand on the Saiyans!” Joseph shouts, the man recoiling in surprise. You watch the old man gloating at the alien’s reaction, taunting and shaming him into matching his bet. After both of them get their tickets he marches back triumphantly to the table, throwing his drink back and asking for another. He then turns to you, noticing your intense stare at the screen. He follows your gaze, you hearing him shout “Hoooly Shiiiiiiit!”

Karn’s gathered an absolutely enormous ball of his energy above his head, and with a mighty shout of “Take This!!” he tosses it. You watch, impressed and even slightly terrified as his attack floats onward towards the Covenant warships. It consumes the ships, exploding in a flash that leaves no survivors.

“Oh my god...” your grandfather says slowly, eyes wide in terror. And for once, you can’t help but agree with him.

“What the hell was that, baby?” the pompadour’d alien shouts into the room’s stunned silence. Looking around, everyone else seems at least as stunned as your grandfather, except for one. A blue skinned cyclops in golden armor sits at one table by himself, a malformed creature with several heads standing imposingly behind him. You see the cyclops chuckle to himself, taking a sip from a wine glass as he watches the screen. He notices you glaring his way, turning to you with a grin and giving a small salute with his glass. You notice that all of his teeth are pointed, you deciding its best not to make anything of it and salute with your cola back, then turn your attention back to the screens. Dio’s dead, after all, and his minions can’t be this far out in space. Can they? You sigh to yourself, willing yourself to relax. You’d been on high alert ever since you’d first left Japan to slay Dio, now after months of near-constant ambushes and fights to the death, you can’t seem to unwind.

“Perhaps I could still learn a thing or two from him.” you think to yourself, Joseph and some wierd, wait, are those Predators? Sure enough, a trio of the American horror-movie assassins are speaking with your grandfather. He seems as jovial as ever, laughing with the three about something and even ordering them a round of drinks. He brings them over to the table, you picking up part of the conversation.

“Battled him here at this very station!” one of them boasts. “I even bloodied his nose!”
“Before he nearly took your head off!” another says, the trio of them laughing.
“Hey, Jotaro! I found some friends!” the old man calls to you as they approach, his voice getting quieter as you all sit down. “These three were here years ago when our big green friend was.”
“Big? Green?” the apparent leader of the Yautja hunters says. “Nah, he’s around average build for one of them Saiyans.”
“You didn’t see him on the Big Gete Star.” you say, taking another drink. “He was easily nine feet tall, and build like a damn tank. My strongest punch didn’t even phase him.”
“Seems to me that you’re pretty weak then!” the leader boasts, laughing.
“Oh?” you ask, glaring. “Want to try and take one of my punches yourself then?”
“Jotaro, there’s no ne-“ the old man says, the lead hunter waving him off.
“Now you’ve gotten me curious, whelp.” he says. “Let’s see what you’ve got.”
“Star Platinum: Za Warudo!”

Moving about in stopped time is always an odd sensation. If you had to describe it, it would be like walking through honey, or maybe molasses. Whatever the case, once Star Platinum freezes time you have six seconds to move and act before time resumes it’s normal flow. You rise from your chair, and deliver a left jab straight to where a nose would be on a human. Behind the masks, you don’t know these creature’s anatomy well enough to guess. You simply punch him once, then return to your seat as if nothing happened.

“Time has begun to move again.” you say, the flow of time returning to normal as you sigh out. The leader falls on his ass, everyone turning to look at the guy who just fell over. Everyone except Joseph Joestar, that is.
“Jotaro! Did you-?” he begins in a scolding voice, you cutting him off before he can reveal anything.
“I need the practice with using Za Warudo, that’s all.” you say, feeling the cyclops’ intense gaze upon you again. You ignore him for now, taking another drink as the Yautja rights himself and his chair. You see that your punch cracked his mask right in two, the hunter setting both halves on the table.
“That was an impressive punch.” he says, looking at you in what you assume is a smile from the tone of his voice. “I didn’t even see you move.”
“Its a move I’ve been working on.” you say, taking another drink. Before he can question further you all turn to the screens, watching as Karn’s woman cuts a giant lizard in two with a massive energy blade. Cheers and boos go up all around you all, you still feeling that cyclops’ eye upon you. Its starting to get on your nerves.

“Excuse us.” the malformed creature that was standing behind the cyclops says, everyone at your table turning to look at it as most of its eyes look at you. “The Master wishes to speak to you two.”
“And just who the hell are you?” you reply.
“We are Melzargard, the Master’s loyal servant.” it says. “Yes, that is good. Master Boros wishes to have words with you, yes, many words.”
“And just who is this ‘Master Boros’ anyways?” Joseph asks, still acting friendly.
“Master Boros is the leader of Dark Matter.” this Melzargard says, your eyes widening slightly in surprise. You’d heard of the pirate band Dark Matter and their leader, Boros before. They’re a notorious band of pirates, conquering worlds in this Boros’ namd. But you had no idea that cyclops was him. “I’ll take you to him now? Yes, that is good.”
“Yeah, I’ll have a few words with him.” you say, you and the old man rising to your feet.
“This is good.” Melzargard says, leading you both to Boros’ table.

You both follow this Melzargard across the room, him leading you to a round table with two empty seats at it. Lord Boros, the cyclops in ornate golden armor, smiles as you approach, hands folded and his chin resting on them. You both sit across the table from him, waiting on the pirate lord to make the first move.

“Greetings, Jotaro Kujo. Joseph Joestar.” he says, your eyes widening a bit in surprise. How the hell does he know you? “I am Lord Boros, master of the Dark Matter pirates.”
“Seems you already know who we are, so let’s cut the crap.” you say seriously. “What do you want?”
“Now Jotaro, there’s no cause to be rude.” Jpseph says, giving you a sideways look. “Lord Boros, I presume?”
“You presume correctly, vampire slayers.” he says, you and the old man looking to each other. “I’ve heard about your recent victory over a vampire by the name of Dio. Is that correct?”
“Yeah, that’s right.” you say, trying to hide your confusion. How the hell did he know? Who could have tol- No, that doesn’t matter now. But what does matter, is what you ask next. “And what’s that got to do with you?”
“An object, no, a creature crash-landed on one of my worlds a few months ago.” Boros explains. “Within two months, the entire native population was either wiped out or enslaved. None of my people could defend themselves, this creature even turning some of my people into lesser versions of itself. But unlike the creature itself, those it turns all turn to ash when hit by the sun’s rays. Sound familiar to either of you?”

The lessers sound like vampires for sure, but what makes vampires and is immune to the sun? You have no idea, but looking to the old man it’s clear he knows what Boros is talking about. And you’ve never seen him so terrified.

“No, it can’t be...” he mutters out, looking down to his mechanical left hand. “I knew he was immortal, but I never thought he’d return...”
“Ah, so you DO know of this creature!” Boros says, excitedly.
“Old man, what’s wrong?” you ask, concern growing. You’d never seen the old man like this, not even when seconds away from near-certain death. You knew he’d lost his hand in a battle decades ago, but you didn’t believe his tall tales. He shot an immortal into space by using a volcano? Even now, after facing Dio it still sounds like rubbish. “You know what he’s talking about?”
“I’m sorry, but we can’t help you.” Joseph says, standing and turning to walk away. “I’m sorry for your loss, but there’s nothing you can do to stop him. Keep him locked to that one planet, and count yourself lucky he didn’t get to you as we-“

A hush suddenly falls over the entire room, you feeling a primal dread as a supernatural chill crawls up your spine. You hear the door open, several creatures walking in.

“On behalf of Master Kars, we’re here for the one known as Joseph Joestar!”
cont
>>
>>2749577
“Kars?” you think to yourself. “Isn’t that the name the old man gave that ‘unkillable monster’ from those stories about how he lost his hand? If he wasn’t overly exaggerating, you now have a threat bigger than Dio ever was on your hands. And it’s minions are right here, looking for him. You start to turn towards the voice, about to begin materializing Star Platinum between yourself and the speaker, when Joseph’s hand clamps down on your shoulder. You look to him confused, the old man giving a slight shake of his head. His message is clear; do not engage these creatures.

“Hey, hot stuff. I may know where that Joestar is.” the man who’d bet against your grandfather earlier says, you hear him walking over towards the voice. “But, uhh, what’s in it for Dandy? ‘Cause I’m thinking you and me, we go out for a dri-glurk!”
“Silence, mortal.” a different voice speaks up, this one definitely female. You turn, seeing the fool held aloft by his neck by a glowing-eyed female. She and two others, both seemingly men, are all glaring at the fool. “Or your life is forfeit. Where is Joestar?”

All this, all of the man’s bravado disappears, him lifting his right hand and shakily pointing it towards you and the old man. The three turn and follow his finger, seeing you. While they’re distracted he draws a pistol, turns a nob on it, then points and fires at the vampire holding his throat. The blast takes her square in the face, staggering the creature as it drops him. The pompadour’d fool wisely backs up, keeping his pistol aimed at the other two. Unwisely, he took his gaze off the one he’d shot, thinking it dead. That vampire leaps forward with a hiss, sinking its fangs into Dandy’s neck.

“Woah now baby, this isn’t the kinda thing Dandy’s... in... t....” Dandy says, his color draining as that vampire drinks him. But you’ve seen enough of this.
“Star Platinum: Za Warudo!” you shout, time freezing around you. You move quickly, Star Platinum prying its jaws from that fool’s neck then smashing it with a left cross. You then move Star Platinum to the other two, the fools standing too close to each other.

“ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!!” Star Platinum shouts, striking each of the two of them dozens upon dozens of times. You’d wanted to strike them until they were paste, but you felt Za Warudo reaching its limit. You call Star Platinum back, releasing Za Warudo, “Time has begun to move again.”

The results are spectacular. The one who’s jaw you broke is sent flying, crashing into another table as the two you OraOra’d are crushed, their mangled bodies sent flying back out of the door. The broken-jaw’d female rises to her feet, resetting her jaw with a crunch and hissing at you. Seems they really are immortals.

“Dammit Jotaro!” you hear Joseph shout.
“Good grief.” you say, cracking your knuckles as you rematerialize Star Platinum, ready for battle.

>>2749578
“Everyone, stay back!” you call out, the vampiress hissing again and launching herself at you. “Star Pla-!”

But before you can finish, the cyclops blurs from his seat to before you, slamming a golden-armored fist into its maw and slamming its head into the ground. His heavy fist cracks the floor, splattering the beast’s head all over the tiles. Before he can recover from his punch the other two kick the door down, launching themselves at you with a roar.

“Old man, get ready!” you say, hands in your pockets.
“Right!” Joseph shouts, behind you.
“Star Platinum: Za Warudo!” you shout, again freezing time. You send Star Platinum forward, slamming his fists into the two hundreds of times each as he circles them with a shout of “ORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!!”

With less than a second left you have him stop attacking, pulling Star Platinum back to your side, as time resumes its normal flow. Star Platinum’s punches all register to the vampires at once, their bodies’ seemingly, to everyone else, taking massive amounts of damage instantly.
“Hermit Purple and Hamon!!” the old man shouts, his purple thorned vines springing forth from his hand wreathed in the golden lightning of Hamon and wrapping around the two, binding them tightly together. But only for a moment, as the Hamon burns through their cursed bodies. You watch as his Hamon-enhanced Hermit Purple cuts through them, burning the pieces to nothing more than ash.

“I see now.” the cyclops says, looking between you and Joseph with his one massive eye. “You both posess remarkable techniques, and have clearly fought these demons before. But will that truly stop them?”
“Hold on a minute.” Joseph says, wrapping his Hermit Purple around the now-headless vampire at Boros’s feet, burning it to ash as well with more of his Hamon. “Let us discuss this a little more privately. Barkeep, sorry about the mess!”

With that Joseph tosses a thousand credits to him, the barkeep happily taking the money as the three of you return to Boros’ table. All three of you take your seats, the cyclops’ gaze firmly on Joseph.

“Well, you two made quite a show against that trio.” Boros says, then looks sideways at you. “At least one of you made a show. I don’t know what this ‘Za Warudo’ power of yours is, but I’d assume it manipulates time somehow. Either by speeding you and your phantom fighter up, or stopping time itself. And judging by that look on your face I’m right, aren’t I.”
cont
>>
>>2749582
You say nothing, opting instead to glare at the cyclops. He smirks a bit at this, before resuming speaking.

“In any case, I’m hoping you two will help me.” he says, putting his elbows on the table and lacing his fingers together. “This, what did they call him, Kars? He’s a scourge that must be dealt with, immediately.”
“Look, I’m sorry.” the old man says with a sigh. “I wish we could help you, really. I fought Kars myself almost fifty years ago, back in my prime. At one point he was a mortal, the light of the sun and my Hamon his bane. But no longer. He’s conquered the sun, and even Hamon as well. He’s a true immortal with no weaknesses. In our battle, I’d dropped him into a volcano, and in return he gave me this.”

With that the old man pulls his left glove off, showing Boros his mechanical hand. The cyclops looks at the hand, then back to Joseph as he waits for the old man to finish.

“He was completely unphased by being submerged in the lava, and he emerged perfectly fine.” the old man says, sounding weary as he recounts the battle. “I’d then tried my Hamon, and he retaliated with Hamon as well, melting my right knee. It was only through sheer luck I bested him, the volcano erupting and banishing Kars into the void of space. If that hadn’t happened, he would have easily conquered my world and killed every living being upon it. I’m sorry, but there’s really nothing we can do.”

“You’re a gambling man, Joseph.” Boros says. “How about this: I will fight your grandson Jotaro. If he wins I won’t bother you with this further. But if I win, you both have to help me find a way to defeat this Kars.”
“Absolutely no-“ the old man starts, you interrupting
“Fine, let’s get this over with.” you say, rising to your feet.
“Jotaro, what the hell are you doing?!” the old man shouts, rising to his feet as the cyclops gives you a shark-like smile. “We can’t beat Kars, don’t go dragging us into an unwinable conflict!”
“We don’t have to beat Kars.” you say, glaring at the cyclops as he rises to his feet. “I just have to beat this guy.”
cont
>>
>>2749585
“Very well.” Boros says, rising to his feet. “Melzargard, show them to the arena.”
“Yes Master.” Melzargard says. “Yes, this is good. Follow me, yes.”

You and the old man follow the malformed creature, leaving the bar and walking down a hall.

“Jotaro, why did you accept this fight?” he asks, turning towards you. “I know you’re eager to keep using this new power of yours, but why accept his deal?”
“He can’t win.” you say, adjusting your hat then putting your hands in your pockets. “When he attacked that vampire back there, he was trying to show off his speed and power. But Star Platinum is still several times faste-“

The malformed creature chuckles, interrupting what you’re saying. You glare at the creature, five eyes all looking back.

“What the hell’s so funny?” you ask it, a few of its heads turning to better see you.
“You think THAT was the Master’s true power?” one of its heads asks, the others chuckling in almost-unison. “He’ wearing power-restraining armor. Yes. That is good.”
“Dammit Jotaro!” Joseph shouts angrily. “Now look what you’ve done! You’ve really done it now, of all the-“

You listen to Joseph’s tirade, tuning his shouting out as you prepare yourself for facing Boros. After a minute the walkway ends, opening into a decently-sized combat arena. You see Boros standing across from you, you stepping up to the same line on your side as Melzargard and Joseph go to the stands.

“C’mon Jotaro, you’ve got this!” Joseph shouts, now cheering you on instead of berating you as he had been. “Knock this guy out in one shot!”
“It’s too late to back out now.” Boros says with a shark-like, toothy grin.
“That’s my line.” you reply, materializing Star Platinum with his arms up in a fighting stance. You’re confident you can win this easily, but that’s no reason to let your guard down. He’s decently quick, and hits hard as well. You’ll end this quickly. You start walking forward towards Boros, Star Platinum floating behind you as he begins walking to you as well.

“Star Pla-!” you shout several yards out of Star Platinum’s range, baiting Boros into attacking you. He takes the bait, launching himself at you with blinding speed.
“Got you!” Boros shouts, closing the distance and swinging for your head.
“ORA!” Star Platinum shouts, the phantom’s fist smashing hard into Boros’s. The shock knocks him back, giving you the opening you need.

“Za Warudo!” you shout, freezing time yet again.
cont
>>
>>2749591
With Boros now held helpless, frozen, its time to end this.

“ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!!!” Star Platinum roars, unleashing a barrage of punches into the cyclops’s torso. For the entire six seconds of frozen time you have Star Platinum unload, holding back enough to avoid killing him. You count the stopped time down, and as time is about to resume have Star Platinum pull his right back for a massive punch.

“ORA!!” Star Platinum bellows, punching Boros square in the face just as time resumes. That punch, along with the hundreds of others, all slam into him at once. The unbelievable force shatters his ornate armor, sending Boros crashing hard into the far wall.

“Too easy.” you say, hands still in your coat pockets. You’re about to turn your back on him, when you hear Boros begin to speak.
“Impressive, warrior.” Boros says, spitting blood then crossing his arms before him. “Not many can destroy my armor, much less hurt me. I think it’s about time to show you my true power!”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=rf2ICcDLuws

You watch as he crosses his arms across his chest, the black lines across his face and body glowing pink. His skin tone begins changing as well, darkening from the light blue to a much darker shade. The lines along his body change from that pink to an electric blue, Boros shouting as a bright pink aura begins shooting off from his body, electricity blasting out as rubble from the wall is sent flying everywhere. Star Platinum shields you from the rubble, punching it to bits as the chunks fly at you. The storm of rubble ends after a few seconds, Boros’s transformation complete.

“Here I come!!” he shouts, blasting off the wall right at you. With his increased speed you’re caught off-guard, but Star Platinum wasn’t. The etheral warrior’s right fist slams into Boros’s, the resulting shockwave almost blasting you off of your feet. Your hat is sent flying, your coat snapping in the wind as the force of the blow slides you a few centimeters backwards as well. You hadn’t expected him to be this powerful, you’re in for a real fight now!
cont
>>
>>2749593
“ORA! ORA!” Star Platinum shouts, slamming his left fist into Boros’ left, then his right into the cyclops’ right. With a mighty roar, both fighters unleash. “ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!!”

Star Platinum and Boros clash, neither able to make an advantage. You feel every blow, your hands throbbing as fists fly. This Boros is surprisingly stronger than even Star Platinum’s amazing strength, ever so slowly pushing you back.

“ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!!” Star Platinum roars, fists still flying as your Stand faces down this cyclops’s overwhelming might. Boros finds an opening, Star Platinum blocking the hit as well as it can as you’re knocked off-balance, out and away from your Stand’s protection.

“You’re mine!!” Boros shouts, aiming for the opening without hesitation. You watch his fist hurtling towards you, you have no time to dodge or chance to escape. And just before it hits...

“Star Platinum: Za Warudo!!” you shout, Boros’s eye widening in surprise as he realizes what’s about to happen. But he’s powerless, time stopping and trapping him. You regain your footing, walking around behind him and letting Star Platinum unleash.

“ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!!”
your stand shouts as it unleashes, slamming his fists into Boros’s back over and over and over and over again. You attack him for a second or two, you pulling Star Platinum back as you feel time resuming. Boros is slammed face-first into the wall behind where you were, denting the metallic surface as he rebounds back towards you, completely disoriented. You clench your fist tighter inside your pocket, unleashing Star Platinum’s full might. “ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!!!”

Star Platinum pummels the helpless Boros, slamming his fists into the cyclops over and over again for several seconds. You keep hitting Boros until he roars, blasting you back with a shockwave. You slide back a dozen or so feet, shielding your face with your arms as you’re pushed back. You look up over your arms, Boros smiling despite the blood dripping from one corner of his mouth. You watch him chuckle a bit, spitting blood then grinning at you with a bloody grin.

“What the hell’s so funny?” you ask, putting your hands back in your pockets. “You enjoy getting your ass kicked or something?”
“I’ve been looking for an opponent as strong as you.” he says, looking excited as he takes something of a runner’s stance, purple aura and lightning flaring. “Time to show you my true power!”

“What?” you say, confused. This wasn’t his full-?

The same way Joseph did in canon, and no. Kars eventually drifted far enough through space that crash landed on one of Boros’s worlds.

It seems we have left an impression on him.

I know how bad of an idea it is,but I'm kind of hoping that we get forced into a situation where we will have to go berserk. I really want to see the reactions to it on the tv as to just what the legendary can do. I know its a bad idea, but i want it dammit.

QM QUESTIONS

Episode 52 will(hopefully) begin this coming Saturday the 28th at the usual time. But with an extra week for me to prepare for the second phase of the battle, I want to take some time to see where everyone stands before we move forward. This battle may take another two to three episodes, depending on how things go, and I’m sure everyone will be ready to switch gears a bit afterwards. So I want to ask a few questions of ALL of my readers(that means you too, lurkers) to see what everyone’s enjoying and perhaps not enjoying as much about this quest so far.

>favorite/least favorite character(s)?
>characters you want to have more or less screentime?
>factions/characters you would like to see introduced, or made more prominent?
>characters/factions you never want to see again?
>tips/pointers for me to improve my writing going forward
>What do you think of how the canon characters have developed over time?(King Vegeta is 10 by the way)
>After this battle, would you prefer a short break or a longer vacation before getting back to more serious matters?
And most importantly of all:
>Still having fun?
>>
>>2752224
>>favorite/least favorite character(s)?
Our entire family, Frieza, Vegeta, Boros, The Ginyu Squad, Blackfire, and King Cold fall my favorites.
Cooler can get bent because HOLY SHIT WHAT AN PETTY ASSHOLE.
>characters you want to have more or less screentime?
Vegeta for sure. I wanna see how our only student is holding up.
Side note: I also want our kids to try and do some missions, just to see how they feel about serving under Frieza.
Also what about our newly born twins? We still gotta name them.
Of course Karn and Meloka would go along as observers, just in case something goes wrong.
I'm not 100% on Broly's level of control in life-or-death situations just yet.
>factions/characters you would like to see introduced, or made more prominent?
I have a feeling we're about to see Boros and the JoJo's pretty soon, so my wish has been granted.
I also kinda want to check in with Cassa after the battle. Considering how she hasn't died yet, she may be worth training up. Gotta bolster up the SSJ population some time.
Plus I like making QM's have to write up backstories on the fly.
>characters/factions you never want to see again?
Hive (bad aftertaste). Nefarious (Glad he's dead).
>tips/pointers for me to improve my writing going forward
Stop living on a farm. Also stop mispelling "Frieza" as "Freeza"
>What do you think of how the canon characters have developed over time?(King Vegeta is 10 by the way)
I think gravity training is fucking absurdly useful and that everybody who isn't doing it is squandering their potential.
I'm stoked that the Saiyan population is finally starting to realize that Zenkai boosts exist.
I'm also glad we finally got Frieza to train, even if it was only for a few months. I'm sure if we pester him he'll stick to his regimen, right?
>After this battle, would you prefer a short break or a longer vacation before getting back to more serious matters?
I want enough time to hang out with our kids long enough so they actually remember what we look like (I'm only slightly exaggerating here)
But really, some time to fit in a few trips and maybe some 1v1's. Some new challengers, maybe a few rematches.
Base form only fight with Frieza when?

I wouldn't be following the quest if I wasn't.

I'm just waiting for Frieza to lift so much that his Final form at resting power is so swole it looks like his FULL POWER state. That's when we'll know we've made a mistake. He will consume all the protein.

>favorite favorite character(s)?
Freeza, Karn,

>least favorite character(s)?
Future Trunks

>characters you want to have more or less screentime?
Anyone stronger than Karn. Aku, King Cold (not for long lol), Whis, and anyone you didnt introduce yet.
I also took a quick liking to Cassa? Idk why, she's kind of like an unexperienced underdog. I really like this kind of character, I want her to make a mad dash and reach the level of current cast ASAP

>factions/characters you would like to see introduced, or made more prominent?
Most franchises I would name would probably be unfamiliar with you, but like, Fate? Those character are all so high tier you wouldn't need to scale them up much aside from giving them flight.
ALSO CELL AND 17 AND 18

>characters/factions you never want to see again?
Nefarious, Chronoa, Future Trunks

In your tragic case of working two fucking jobs, just keep going at it as your are. You're doing superb, Boy.

>What do you think of how the canon characters have developed over time?(King Vegeta is 10 by the way)
Vegeta is fucking amazing. Frieza has had unbelievable growth, as well. I wish Kakarott and Raditz got some more attention, I want them both to be training autists and go super hard at it.

>After this battle, would you prefer a short break or a longer vacation before getting back to more serious matters?
Longer break. Take care of our kids. Train. Bond. Get more Saiyans to Crew Member status (introduce new characters, give them more personality than Leyas Sarada and the rest)

Favorite character besides theMC has gotta to be either frieza, vegeta, or Towa when she shows up. (I love how smug she is) Least favorite so far are either Turles / leyas / serada (you gotta do more with them man )

>characters you want to have more or less screentime?
Raven needs more character delving. Shes always off screen working on something or as utility. Vegeta / Karn interaction similar to the older sessions of the quest. Would love to see more time travel shenans, Towa said she would have missions for us, but the only mission weve had so far is to fix our own fuck up with the brain wipe. Hell, the boy fucks with us more than weve fucked with him, albeit im sure he regrets it immensely. Would love to spend time training our kids, maybe chaperoning them on missions?

>>factions/characters you would like to see introduced, or made more prominent?
With Aku in the picture, I would LOVE to see some of Samurai Jack, even if its an offhand cameo. Perhaps throw in some more star wars? Maybe the 'covenant was holding back the empire resurgent, and now with so many ships destroyed palpatine is ready to expand? I dont know really, would love to see a lot of little characters in short cameos, like you did with space dandy in the jotaro epilogue.

>>characters/factions you never want to see again?
Fuck Dr. Nepharious, and Fuck the Hive.

>tips/pointers for me to improve my writing going forward
Shit man, I cant even take the plunge to run a quest ive been thinking about for months, and you do all this on your phone. Not the best person to be giving you advice.

>>What do you think of how the canon characters have developed over time?(King Vegeta is 10 by the way)
It feels like we are both progressing to fast (in that we have all these transformations already) and to slow at the same time (in that we are drastically under powered to the main story line when they unlocked said transformations. I think for the timeline were at though, its absolutely hilarious, that 10 year old vegeta from our time line can BTFO canon vegeta frieza arc, hell so can broly and our daughter.

>>After this battle, would you prefer a short break or a longer vacation before getting back to more serious matters?
I would prefer a longer break but with interruptions every now and then? gives us time to train, work on mastering legendary, hang with the family and friends, while still working low priority missions? Kids gotta get experience!

>>Still having fun?
dude fuck yes
>>
>>2752731
>Fuck Dr. Nepharious
Oh you sweet summer child, that asshole is going to find a way to come back, some stupid motherfucker is going to reactivate his drones, then we will have our version of the Android Saga. Which may turn into a time scroll where Trunks has to look into the eyes of Punished Chaya, after she watches her Gohan die before her eyes. Imagine how fucked that would be for him, killing his own backstory.
The Hive are a non issue now though, if they so much as look in our kids direction, then we can just erase them from the galaxy. Best part is that no one would complain too.

I’ve learned my lesson there. Cassa’s already got her own backstory, and even rival.
>Stop living on a farm. Also stop mispelling "Frieza" as "Freeza"
Kek. And unfortunately probably not. Been spelling it as Freeza since elementary school, and I still have that book here somewhere.
>I think gravity training is fucking absurdly useful and that everybody who isn't doing it is squandering their potential.
Not every species can abuse it like Saiyans can, most simply break under the pressure. Saiyans are natural-born conquerors, their bodies able to adjust to almost any gravity.
>I want enough time to hang out with our kids long enough so they actually remember what we look like (I'm only slightly exaggerating here)

That isn't actually true, it was a gameplay decision for that to work, as they cant actually attack efficiently. In the books the fuckers are still growling and trying to waddle forwards and knaw on your ankles. Only complete and utter incineration keeps them down, or freezing them solid.

I can see Kars and Karn getting involved in some Most Excellent Adventures given certain shenanigans on part of Towa. Screwing up situations by seeing how the Ultimate Life Form can adapt to differing timelines and against the Time Patrol. Maybe even with Frieza and Karn tagging along just because of her fascination with UI and Golden forms.

I can also see it going pear-shaped really quickly if Towa underestimates Kars. It's one thing to monitor strong intergalactic tyrants or strong warriors, but messing with someone with a huge genius inventor savant-level intellect plus the ability to morph and adapt their bodies very quickly seems like a recipe for interesting plot hooks.
>>
>>2753941
I’ll say this, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you underestimate Kars. And Towa wouldn’t mess with Kars at all until she had a guaranteed failsafe against his eventual betrayal.

Honestly, he's like a Buu/Cell that can gain new abilities by observing creatures or getting a hold of some tissue to study, and then speedily manipulating his own genetic code. He might even be able to use his intellect to try and intuit a way to mimic things that he can't immediately perform biologically, like Ki.

If he were more humbled, he might have become a very strong sleeper threat by traveling around the universe and infiltrating some intergalactic spacefaring zoos that host creatures that thrive and travel in the hard vacuum of space, as well as some other extremophile species that survive in absurdly hot/cold conditions.

>Characters i'd like to see made more prominent
Freezie pop. I want him to come live on new salda and become part of the main group so we can go on space adventures together. Boros too, i've wanted him to become friends with frieza and karn since the start, and i bet he'd be a fucking awesome bro to hang out with given what i saw of his character in one punch man. Boros is a man with a dream, a tortured genius, not a purely sadistic asshole. Frieza might only drink wine, but boros would definitely have a beer with you. They're both too strong, so i'm sure they have enough in common to get along.

>Tips/pointers going forward
I'm no writer, but i can tell you what i want as a reader from my own perspective.
I'd like longer periods of peace between long bouts of fighting.
Peace doesn't have to mean no battles, just... not necessarily fights to the death, or at least not with karn & co's lives on the line. We're some of the strongest in the universe now, so we should be able to subjugate almost any planet effortlessly by now, but stronger and stronger shit just keeps showing up.
It'd be nice if we could just, you know, BE general karn the legendary super saiyan warrior, and hand down some one-sided ass beatings every once in a while. I want to go on space adventures into uncharted territory and subjugate worlds.
Your writing is already great as it is, and i really don't want you to fall into the trap of endlessly trying to improve until all of your time is spent doing that rather than actually doing any writing. I've seen it happen so many goddamn times with so many people in so many different mediums that it breaks my heart.
Your writing is more than good enough now. Don't try to force yourself to improve. If it happens naturally, let it happen. But just let yourself (and us) enjoy the skills you've forged so far.

>What do you think about how characters have developed over time?
They're far more alive than their sanitized and cut down for TV canon counterparts, the story has good depth to it. The characters are visibly growing as people. Also, not to a specific character, but i was surprised to see how much the average saiyan had grown. I though that female saiyan was dead for sure.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 51 Surprise Epilogue III-

AGE 741, PLANET ???

“Please, take whatever you want, but please spare me!” a pitiful humanoid creature begs, on its knees before you. You look down from your new throne at the pitiful creature, changing your right hand into water and sending it to the man-thing. Your water hand transforms, turning into a sphere around the mortal’s head as you watch with sadistic glee. The man tries to move the water, reaching up to scoop it away only for his hands to pass through. You savor the panic on the mortal’s face, drinking in it’s despair as the certainty of its death sinks in. In a panic the mortal rushes up at your throne, drawing a knife and stabbing at your chest. Your smile widens as the knife shatters against your perfect body, the mortal’s eyes rolling up in the back of it’s head as it falls over backwards, dead.

You are Kars, the pinnacle of perfection, the ultimate life form. After your defeat at the hands of that damnable Joseph Joestar, you’d drifted helplessly through the void of space for an unknown amount of time. After a time alone in the void your mind had completely shut down, preserving your sanity as your body drifted aimlessly through space. Eventually you’d reawakened, having crashed down upon an unknown planet. The crash had reawakened you, and your hunger with it. You weren’t sure how long you’d been lost in space, but when you’d awoken your hunger was insatiable. You’d mindlessly rampaged across the world, devouring everything in your path.

Once your hunger was sated, however, your brilliant mind began to work again. You’d reforged another Stone Mask, offering immortality to those who’d swear their loyalty to you. At first few accepted, but as you consumed more and more of these people, many began to accept your offer. You’d tried to take down every strange vehicle blasting off into orbit, but unfortunately several escaped your grasp. However, with the knowledge that space travel was not only possible, but a common occurrence, you dedicated your time to studying how spacecraft worked. Everything from hull construction and propulsion systems to alien cultures and languages, you studied it all. You absorbed all knowledge commonly available to the space-faring races, studing the many varied intelligent and unintelligent creatures. But the abilities of one group of creatures in particular catches your eye. Creatures commonly known as Saiyans.
cont
>>
>>2756681
Saiyans are a race of dedicated warriors who rose to prominence ten years ago under the servitude of the PTO, and Lord Freeza. The Saiyans have the ability to transform during the full moon, becoming massive ape-like creatures with immense power. They’ve even learned to replicate moonlight artificially, allowing them to transform into their monster forms almost at-will. But it is another, more glorious form that catches your eye.

“What is that form?” you’d asked your subordinates, eyes transfixed by the image of the golden figure on the screen.
“It’s known as a ‘Super Saiyan’, Master.” the one to your left says, looking at the figure of the young Saiyan King Vegeta. “Several Saiyans have unlocked the form, but the first to achieve this form was one by the name of Karn.”
“Karn...” you say, finger to your chin as he pulls another image up onto the screen. You see a much larger, older Saiyan, this one seemingly radiating power. “Tell me more about this Karn.”
“See for yourself, Master.” one of your other lieutenants says, changing the screen to what seems to be video of a battle. You watch as Karn lifts his arms up, creating a massive sphere of brilliant energy and tossing it into a fleet of what look like Covenant CSS-Class battlecruisers. You watch as his attack consumes them, exploding in a flash of blinding light. As the camera and your eyes adjust, you see that the hundred or so warships have all been obliterated.

“So this is the power of a Super Saiyan....” you say, watching him panting slightly for a few moments then recovering, blasting off from where he’d been standing. “Where is this ‘New Salda’? I’m interested in meeting this Super Saiyan Karn for myself.”
“It’s here, Master.” your subordinate says, pulling up a starmap without closing the video. “But going there now would be ill-advised.”
“Oh?” you ask, a dangerous edge to your voice. The fool recognizes the error in telling you what to do, and scrambles to cover himself.
“This video is live.” he says panickedly, pointing back to the screen, Oozaru Saiyans blasting down Covenant ships. “They’re currently under attack by the Covenant, their planet is completely surrounded.”
“Hmmm.” you say, relaxing and folding your hands, resting your chin on them as you watch the Saiyans battle. “Ready my ship regardless. I’m sure that with their power they’ll win this battle, and once they do I’d like to meet with this Karn myself.”
“Yes Master.” they say, turning and leaving your throne room as you continue to watch the battle unfold. You find yourself mesmerized by these Super Saiyans, you want their power for yourself.

“I’ll see you soon, Karn.”

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 51 Epilogue III End-
>>
>>2756683
Oh shit, this isn't good.
>>
>>2756744
No, its great. What could possibly go wrong?
>>
>>2756797
If Kars decides to be sneaky, he could decimate the Saiyan population or potentially the PTO by leaking stone masks to discontented Saiyans. It turned a sodden old drunk into a monster capable of cracking stone walls with a punch and casually backhanding a youth in the prime of his life a city block away into a bridge.

Imagine what that could do to an average Saiyan.
>>
>>2756844
Or scratch that, imagine an average Tamaranean warrior, whose power is in the millions.

Best case scenario is Kars going full frontal assault and not doing the cloak and dagger sneakiness that he engaged in before his apotheosis.
>>
>>2756844
>>2756854
Saiyans, Tamaraneans, or even normal PTO/Covenant grunts with the masks would become terrors the Joestars could barely comprehend, much less fight. And by going cloak and dagger he could potentially wipe out the Saiyans entirely by himself. But you’re completely missing the very real danger Perfect Kars arriving on New Salda represents.

What if Kars can copy the Oozaru and/or Super Saiyan transformations?
>>
>>2756901
I for one welcome our glorious golden Aztec pillarmonkey god of fitness.
>>
>>2756901
Question, Freeza obviously could hold him still, but could Kars survive a point blank event horizon if we leave him in space with no way to move.
>>
It's simple, you just take Kars and PUT HIM SOMEWHERE ELSE! Problem. Solved.
>>
>>2756945
or.....we blow him to space dust in the center of an Event Horizon, he cant regenerate if there is nothing left
>>
>>2756956

That's the best case scenario here. Kars overplays his hand, overextends himself by overestimating his own strength and ends up in the middle of a huge ki blast shot by Karn and co. including everyone and anyone else in blasting distance. Plus some magical/telekinetic/whatever support anyone else in the vicinity can lend.

If he plays is sneaky and slow, he will have a chance to learn about these things and hatch a plan to deal with it.
>>
>>2756956
Yeah but are you counting on him not picking up Ki at some point along the way? I mean if Videl could figure it out in a day with some idiot betamale teaching her then why couldn't Kars, blessed be his abs, not figure it out on his own in however long it takes him to get here, all stops included?
>>
>>2756967
It isn't if he can learn it, its, will he know what it is and understand he can learn it before getting there. Joseph played his ass before making him think some conventional explosives could destroy the rock that made his ass, far as he should be concerned, only he and Joseph know about hammon and he would not know its just a weak version of ki.
>>
>>2756916
Kek.
>>2756926
>could Kars survive
Yes. However, if he’s left in space he’d have to find a way to return to an atmosphere quickly, or face his worst nightmare again.
>>2756945
Karn knows someone who’s rather good at that.
>>2756956
He’s durable, the question is how much so. He survived getting dunked in lava, which Super Saiyan Adult Gohan wouldn’t have. And he survives in the void of space, despite freezing solid and drifting for around fifty years.
>>2756959
He’s not trying to fight, at least not yet. He’s rather impressed with Karn’s abilities, and the other Saiyans to a lesser extent as well. He wants to see if his perfection includes taking on attributes of such powerful warriors. Since he’s become complete, he has but one real life goal: destroy Joseph Joestar and his entire family line.
>>2756976
He’ll probably need to be taught, or at least see it in person a few times first. After all, he figured out how to use Hamon after observing it in battle a few times and becoming perfect.

Hamon isn't strictly a weak version of Ki. It can heal, influence people's minds and memories, can strengthen any biological material, can be retained by biological material to make improvised weapons, is extremely conductive, and can be used to coax different forms from biological matter.

I'd argue it's more like a bastard child of the Force, Ki, and Jackie Chan. It also didn't get as much chance as Ki to get developed, as it was dropped to make room for Stands.

But what about Spin?
>>
>>2757023

I dunno! I never read that far!

But from what I've heard, it's probably Araki's way to smoothly transition from a Hamon stand-in to actual Stands. It's also considerably more bullshit than Hamon is.
>>
>>2756988
The obvious thing to do is just have raven open a portal real, real close to the nearest black hole, and allow the insane gravity to tear his "perfect" body apart as it's pulled in and stretched apart until even the bonds between atoms break down.
>>
What if we just? Smother the shit out of him with helpfulness and kindness? Instead of having to fight the millenia-old supersupervampire, let's get him to join our crew or army?

General Kars the Immortal of the PTO... sounds badass
>>
>>2757108
Or put him against Aku somehow.

Kars wouldn’t be able to kill him strictly, but there is a chance that he’d become strong enough to goad Aku into retreating, like a certain foolish Samurai and some other elemental guardians.
>>
Worst case scenario is he somehow replicates Frieza's biological functions.
Then we might have to call in some of the actual heavy hitters from across time and space.
God help us if he can replicate Berserk mode too.
>>
Also even biggerer question time.
Where's the red stone of Aja?
Can we tank a Hamon blast filtered through it?
Can Kars?
Can vampires use the mask in conjunction with the stone to become "perfect" lifeforms too?
>>
>>2757262
Or Kars Blanco. Or Zeno preserve us, Kars Calvo.

>>2757273
Humans or Vamps using the Red Stone amplified mask would likely get turned into a vampire and/or die. The Super-Aja that Kars sought was due to the fact that the Stone Mask couldn’t pierce their brains in the right way to trigger the final transformation OR it just couldn’t pierce their brains period.

The other questions aren’t answerable due to not having an objective measure on Harmon’s power or how much the Red Stone amplified it.

>black hole
didn't we thought of this waay back when we thought we'd be fighting Freeza?
>>
I just realized we have to murder Kars for one very specific reason.
His name is just way too similar to ours.
Imagine how often people might get us confused in the future if we let him live?
>>
>>2757812
To be fair, it'd work.
That said, it's kind of overkill for dethroning Frieza at any level.
Seems like one of the better options for dealing with Kars though.
>>
>>2757819
but if we recruit him it make for a bitching duo name
Karn and Kars, galactic conquerors.
i don't think we should tho
>>
>>2757108
The only problem with this plan is getting Raven that close to one.
>>2757223
He might not join, but he might not be exactly hostile.
>>2757237
Or Aku just banishes him to 1000+ years in the future.
>>2757262
Both of those are potentially very bad.
>>2757273
>Where's the red stone of Aja?
Ask Joseph.
>Can we tank a Hamon blast filtered through it?
Depends on who fires it probably. Kars, no.
>Can Kars?
Yes.
>Can vampires use the mask in conjunction with the stone to become "perfect" lifeforms too?
No. That transformation only works for Pillar Men.
>>
>>2757878
Raven can get nice and close to the black hole, as long as it's not actively pulling in matter from a nearby star or gas cloud (and therefore explosively radioactive)

Temporal effects only start to appear once you begin falling in at close to the speed of light, which is only an issue when you're about to cross the event horizon.
Small black holes only have around the mass of five suns, which means the gravity isn't actually too intense until you get extremely close to the singularity.

What we'd have to do is have raven open the portal, and then blast kars through that portal and into the black hole with a final flash, just like goku launched broly into the sun.

>>

I think he means to use wonky CGI in place of traditional hand-drawn animation. Hard to be perfect when half your scenes make you look like a glossy potato.

A quick death would be too good for him.
Guided eye beams straight through the length of his forearms and shins to disable him for a start.

You're not thinking insane enough. Karn'd pull that wacky screaming the dimension apart thing Super Buu was doing and then punch through a hole in spacetime straight into the kidnapper's spine at the base of the neck, paralyzing him. Then the fun starts.

You know, we already promised to kill the next person chronoa sends after us, but what should we actually do with trunks?
If he were actually willing to engage in dialogue instead of just letting his fucking brainwashing take over, maybe we could do something with him, but it doesn't seem super likely.
Maybe we could talk to him if we cut off his limbs first, but he probably wouldn't want to talk after that.

I don't, like, SUPER want to kill him after all this, but he's really got to stop.
How do we really drive it home that he needs to just leave us the fuck alone?
Killing hyoka would probably just piss him off so much that he'd come after us on his own, and cement us as pure evil in his eyes, rather than acting as a deterrent.
Maybe we could take her hostage, act like we're going to kill her to show that we could, and then tell him that if he comes back again, we'll really do it next time before releasing her and telling them to fuck off and leave us alone.

"You really got a pair, coming back here after everything i've done to you, boy. Maybe you've got some saiyan pride after all if you can keep facing me like this, knowing you're going to die. I just have to wonder why you're willing to go so far for that brat, when you don't owe her anything. Tell you what, why don't we settle this once and for all, not with our swords, but with our fists, like saiyans."
>>
>>2762123
Think he'd go for it?
>>
>>2762128
He'd hesitate for sure, but he'd ultimately agree to it on his own.

>>2762128
He's his father's son at the end of the day, and after seeing everything we've done, he knows we are good for our word. He also knows his is worthless. So it might be his last chance in his eyes.
But an even better question is, what would Vegeta think if he found out about this, would Trunk's girlfriend go behind his back and tell him what happened?

If you cut off his limbs, he’d just be doing a lot of screaming. And yes, killing Hyoka would set you as a real villain in his eyes.
