Meanwhile, while everyone else has been properly deployed and no longer dealing with a bunch of gangers, Brunhilde had simply finished landing back at base. She had considered doing a few things to the Valkyrie that she would probably be using for some time, such as painting a few marks of her aerial victories on the thing. But for now, she was focused on something else. The annoying Seven was away for a time, which meant she had some time to speak to Catalina without being interrupted, time she planned on using well. Maybe if she was lucky, she could convince her why she would be better off with her then seven, or to do something with her. Hopefully, she would be able to show Catalina all the pleasures she was missing out on, and maybe more then just a part of her would start to love her...She simply would have gotten out of the Valkyrie and simply walked around, looking for Catalina, trying not to be too distracted by her own thoughts.

The flares shine like holy beacons, brighter than the emperor's Astronomicon.>With a widening smirk plastered on your face, you stroll toward the crowd, vintage hat of the West giving you enough shade to keep the novas from fucking up your own vision. With both Angelus Bolter Carbines unholstered and trained on the head honcho, you fire off two warning rounds across the area, intentionally missing the one who seems to be in charge here.>And with another widening smile full of good intentions, you introduce yourself to the serpent.
>>2750120>>2750138>Simor, newly converted and wandering around the city, witnesses this and walks over to one of the Omakaiste."Is this, uh, normal around here or is this man unnacounted for in the plans?">Meanwhile, her Servo-Skull slowly crawls around and between the crowd, moving towards Colt.
>>2750138Tis a dandy day to stroll through the park with some leashed pets, ain't it stranger!>You begin to walk closer toward the daemon, enough so it can hear you clearly, but safely out of reach from the crowd>Weapons trained on it, you take a mental note to keep your fingers off the trigger unless one of the lessers feel like risking a quick promotion With a side of bolter today. But I will admit, i sure don't see specimens such as yourself around these parts, so I can only assume you're one of those purebred dogs the nobles tend to walk around? Perhaps a mutated mixed breed the gangers made for fighting?>You notice some of the goons getting antsy and re-apply both finger tips to each trigger while scanning the crowdAll jests aside, you don't happen to speak gothic do you? Would break my heart if no one else here with a weapon could enjoy my jokes with me...>You cock your head to the side, Looking straight at the thing with wingsReckon you never heard of me before, so let me introduce myself. The names Colt Relgus. Nice to meet"cha!>You bow slightly, just barely tipping your hat so you can keep eyes on everyone in front of you. All the while, your weapons are hungry, ready for someone to slip up within its firing range.
>>2750138> as the flares are launched he takes a step back and move his wings infront of his face protecting himself from the lightWho are you who dare interrupt me> after recovering all of the partisans aim their autoguns at him the "children" having already been secured

I do hope your pets are trained and leashed properly. I wouldn't want to lodge a bolt in your abomination...think of the kids!I'd like to talk before things get a little dicey. Wouldn't try anything to sneaky-beaky either. You might lose quite a few more of your viewers here than you wished!
>>2750161>>2750165>The Servo-Skull freezes then slowly backs up. Simor wraps her hand around her Arc Pistol while slowly moving closer to Jaan, who seems to be the one in charge."Yeah, I certainly don't like the look of him...">Her Mechadendrite twitches slightly in Colt's direction.

Sometimes its the complete opposite.>Looks around for a moment with a smirk, gesturing to the town around himNow I reckon you folks are aware of the ruckus you've been causing here...right? I sure do hope so, because i thought it Would be a kind gesture to inform you that the current bounties on your head could buy me a small void ship stocked with the finest whisky and wines. So I could A: Try my hand at taking said bounties, and making off with some women, riding the stars.B: Play an Ace up my sleeve if you try anything and blow all of these future heretics in the making to kingdom come. >>2750198Oh such a shameSo despite liberation you insist on wearing the symbols of your oppressionI was hoping you would be more open. You know those assets can be a great deal more useful in conversation if you don't hide them under robesAnd if you are to expand the quest for knolege would not knolege of the carnal and physical be included?
>>2750205Carnal fl---the hell? Shes a got'damn machine, look at her! When's the last time you got your hands on a normal woman?! >Getting impatientOk look! How about we drop this whole bounty thing on your head, and you try tossing me an offer I can't refuse. I'd hate to kill ya or your cohorts. Plus, you managed to kill quite a few important faces around here, so employment is gonna be low for a bit since gangers won't have much competition between each other. >Weapons Aiming steadily, you offer your services againI really hope you come around to my way of thinking pal, I'm sure you could use someone with skills such as mine to hunt down does you need dead. Perhaps you'd like a scout? Maybe you'll need someone with "delicate" hands to capture a high-value slave? I'm not quite sure what your warband does for a living, but I've got a guess you folks belong to that slaanic god or something. >Inhaled deeply, slowly letting out a sighDon't get me wrong, id kill a heretic any day for a quick buck. >>2750220He accepts only cash from my knowledge
>>2750223To be honest with you sir, that thing has a point. Bodies can be bought with money. Same with pleasure. This also comes with the fantastic side of food, holovids, great showers, and blackmarket equipment. Pleasure can't get those things for you...atleast not all of it...
>>2750205"I have more than read more than 73 books regarding this subject and dissected more than 12 human males. >>2750224So are you up for it you asked me if I have decided now I ask you if you can accept mine? And if you are looking for black market equipment just ask the tech priests and they will make most things you can ask for
>>2750226Oh...thats It? Free equipment on the house? For my services?.....>Looks at you with squinted eyes and a skeptical impressionWhat's the catch? Im not quite ready to play myself alive for your dieties, or let that machine dissect me as her form of "pleasure".
>>2750232(*flay myself alive*)

>>2750232Well there is no catch you help us we help youAnd you get payed as WellYou might have to move with us to our base and establish a exclusivity contract
>Contemplates on the offer...Sounds a bit tooooo sweet and sugarcoated for my tastes. But, I don't normally operate on promises and handshakes. You'd do well in the future to remember that. >SighsBut, you shitty people with shitty guns, who normally higher goody people with goody guns such as myself to do their dirty work....BAH!I'll join, but try anything, and quite a few of you will be missing more limbs than intended.

I do not appreciate when people point their silly little toys at my men.">As if on cue, each and every single one of Colt's servitor's malfunction."You know, there's a lot you can do with a scrap-code generator. I also know exactly the right amount of pressure to apply to your head that if you struggle, you die. I'm applying that pressure right now.">You can FEEL him smile under his helmet"Now then, how does it make you feel to be helpless?"You didn't roll for any of that, please roll in the future.>>2750011>It seems they do not lock their doors, primarily because they don't have locks to put on their doors. >>2750634Remember men you are to take care of your new family especially if you want more children in the future they can't help us if they are dead. And you will not get more if they do!
>>2750634>Cogran drives up on the meating place with all of the mining servitors and truks coming in after him Comander I am ready to depart with this new equipment. Do you require anything else.>sees the disabled servitors. Are those a gift to the omnissahia Comander

Rolled 51 (1d100)>>2750642>Not quite up to expectations, but he could work with it. Pyrrhus walks closer to the civilians with intentionally loud footsteps, clearing his throat upon getting close to them in order to get their attention."Well, well, well, look what we have here! Some cowering people with no idea what to do in this oh so scary situation. Well, I may yet provide an answer to your terrified question!">He reaches into Sort's satchel and grabs a grenade, throwing it upwards and catching it again casually."You see, i'm a big senpai of these here explosives and i've been wondering what I should do with them. Now, either i've found myself some moving targets, or two new friends with which I can test them! I wonder which you'd rather be...">Rolling to intimidate/persuade these unfortunates into following along.

That's quite fortunate for both you and me, actually!">He motions for the two of them to follow him as he turns around and chucks the grenade at Sort, who catches it and figures he's responsible for keeping his eyes on them. The 4, led by Pyrrhus wander the city some more, once again looking for any other civilians or gangers who aren't immediately hostile.>Rolling to search for people again.
Rolled 15 + 10 (1d20 + 10)>>2750734>Pyruss moves asside a piece of rubble to see [roll] people huddling in a room.
>>2750733>Cogran loos pleased ordering them loaded into the trucks. not waiting them to be activated until he has been "improved" thru scrap code
Rolled 64 (1d100)>>2750777>Pyrrhus smiles underneath his gas mask. What luck! He casually loads his Grenade Launcher in full view of them and shoulders it, tilting his head to the side."Well, hello there! Seems i've found you in a bit of a vulnerable position, no? I'd say you were here because you're afraid my fellows and dare I say it, even me! But that wouldn't be entirely justified, would it?">Pyrrhus giggles, more of an intentional attempt to scare the civilians rather than one of his usual fits of laughter, the high from the battle running out."After all, I wouldn't hurt you unless you made me do that.">He lets the Grenade Launcher off his shoulder and holds it normally, ready to fire."But none of us wants that, right? Now, some of my friends, they wouldn't be as merciful as me, so i'm quite scared for your safety! If only you followed me, I could protect you, even help you become a part of us while easing said transition. If you wouldn't, i'm afraid i'd have to ensure you don't mess anything up...">With his fingers tapping the side of his gun, Pyrrhus' implication is quite obvious.
>>2750831>They submit>Meanwhile, back at the square, Alpharius addresses the regiment"Greetings my men, we have a few paths before us! What shall we do with this city! What shall we do with our prize! Should we burn it, burn it so hot and brightly that the smoke and fires will rise to the sky and tell all of their coming doom? Shall we keep it as a pen for slaves, so they may toil endlessly for the dark gods? Shall we let loose the faithful here, and turn it into a true city dedicated to the gods? Tell me my men, what shall be done!?"
>>2750868>Pyrrhus hums to himself merrily as the helpless citizens submit, motioning for them to follow him along with the two from earlier on, watched carefully by Sort, grenade in hand. Eventually, after a small amount of searching, Pyrrhus decides he's done enough and walks to the square, satisfied with the results of the battle. Alpharius speaks, Pyrrhus nods along before speaking out."I'm a bit tired of sleeping in a sack under a tent. And hey, what's stopping us from really enjoying the fruits of our labour? I vote to make this city our own!"
>>2750868Secret city under our control sounds nice, we could build a massive spire at the centre of it, looming overhead and casting its shadow over our dominion, massiveslave pens and churches to the Gods where sacrifices happen alwaysI dunno I'm no architect>He continues watching TV
>>2750908>>2750945"We will not be moving from our location in the valley if that is what you are thinking. There is good reason to stay in that place. If we remain control of this place, it will be from afar."
>>2750949Then this could be a great workshop and a vassal state of sorts, where we send recruits we do not know to be truly loyal for training and induction, but I vote for slave pens
>>2750949"Problematic, that, but acceptable. Put the slaves here, then. The logistics would probably be a pain but keeping control of it in secret does sound like an appealing idea."
>>2750868We should keep it as a city of the faithful. A symbol of liberation and after our victory it will be a city to rival all other's
>>2750868>Kanik just kind of turned up as he always seemed to, his new set of arbite armour now properly covered in blood and marks showing his dedication to Khorne."We've already taken what we can from this place, yeah? Fuck it then, we should burn it and all the weaklings inside it. If they can't put up a fight, or at the very least make a decent slave, then they simply don't deserve to live. We've got enough space back at our place for all the lads anyway, right? Doesn't make sense to spread ourselves out too much, even I see that."
>>2750980If we burn everything and everyone what is the point of our struggle? We should treat the civilians with respect educate and enlighten them then set them free to do what they desireDid we not rebel against monsters what would we be if we became monsters ourselves. It is the duty of the strong to guide and protect the weak, be it from themselves or others. Not to kill them
>>2750868Burning would be unwise unless we stage it so it is as if the imperium burns the city.I advise it be kept mostly intact for the housing of servants of chaos, as to not undermine our local sympathy
>>2750995>Kanik groaned as the follower of Slaanesh spoke, muttering something before turning to him."Shut up, Slaaneshi scum. If the weak need protection then they can just become strong. If they can't, they deserve to die. No wonder you purple freaks got your ass kicked by those arbite cowards, most of you are probably just weaklings hiding behind the stronger ones. Too bad they're probably weak too."
>>2751015Ow you misunderstood something didn't you? Not everyone can be strong you understand.Because if everyone is strong then no one is. And to survive we need babies. Babies are weak yes?So if we kill all the weak we will al die. That is why the relationship between the strong and the weak should be that of a father and son. Provide guidance, discipline and safety so they can grow and become stronger
>>2751038"Not everyone can be strong?">He burst out laughing, eventually stopping and catching his breath."You're even more of an idiot than I thought. Everyone CAN be strong, it's just that some choose not to be, or simply give up along the way. Those are the people a Khornate despises. I hold more hatred for those fleeing arbite cowards, than any number of runty little children, because at least the children might actually attempt to fight back, even though they have no chance of winning. Being the weakest does not mean being the most puny in a group of strong men, it is giving up your strength out of cowardice, or perhaps laziness."

It's also faster and less annoying to do that instead of trying to discipline a moron who'll forget all that lovely training they got at the first sign of trouble. On the citizens though, I don't give a shit about them. If they can't shed blood for Khorne, they just don't matter. A slave is easier to control anyway, and I'd rather them work for us at the camp than here."

>>2751197"Oh, right, and a city full of people worshiping the true power won't attract any attention at all. If loyalist scum find out, they'll probably search the surrounding areas for us, one of those areas no doubt being our camp.
