You are Jeremiah Sol, a newly transferred student to Erebus academy in the elven city state of Nileth. In a span of three weeks, you are doing your best to settle in balancing between your studies, your social life and managing your ever-growing fiances.

Your poetry teacher, Miss Yuragos, had lashed her silver tongue against Mr. Tharanel. You find yourself between them, the promise of a recommendation is quite a motive for you to sit and listen to Mr. Tharanel's plan.

"That's the spirit!" Mr. Tharanel exclaimed " The chick's family, The Ashtalaeth are filthy rich; they got their teeth really deep in the meat industry in Nileth. No wonder she got herself a fancy prosthetic arm. I want you to ... mess it up somehow. Subtly of course, she has the pons to buy a dozen more. I just want to see some pure humiliation in front of my eyes."

Maybe you can unscrew a couple just for fun. Better yet, if you messed with the wires inside. I'll snag her off while you do your thing."

"Is that all?"

"Oh, almost forgot about this one," Mr. Tharanel was mentally excavating for something "She....brings an orange bottle with her on random days. My guess? Some oil or coolant for her arm. She always put it in the lounge's fridge."

"You do your part and the recommendation is yours." There wasn't much to be said afterwards. You left his office thinking about the whole ordeal ahead of you. it better be worth it at the end.
_____

With no art class, you returned to the pods way too early. You pulled out your phone, it was 12:46 PM .You had so much free time at your disposal. Studying doesn't seem like a bad idea especially with the onslaught of future exams, Another thing to keep in mind was your financial status. Relying solely on your modelling job is quite risky. Your expenses will never stop to grow, you have to balance both sides somehow.

Oh, the twins just came out of the bus. Kolamon conveyed a bitter expression on his face or so you think; its really hard to tell what they are feeling in general. Ronk barely squeezed himself out of the bus as well. A certain suspicion is brewing inside of you..

You were hungry enough to eat two of them. They didn't taste as good as the first one though. Regardless, you were more than satiated. Miss Lilim's orange juice was a fine addition to your lunch.

While you were eating, you watched the TV with others in the lounge. Some spokesman was addressing the possibility of adding non elves in the police force. It was the same usual crap said by men like him. He was so good in dodging questions, doubly so for non elven reporters . Someone changed the channel out of boredom to a documentary about pre-historic insects.

You didn't pay too much attention to it, instead, you called Miss Gallel. It kept ringing for a while until she picked up.

"Hey cutie~ checking on Mommy, aren't you? Good boy " Her voice wasn't recognizable at all.

"How are you, Miss Gallel? Terreth told us you were sick." You asked with a hint of concern.

"Mommy got a nasty flu while she was in the exhibition." She coughed hoarsely "A certain... critic didn't make it easy on me. I'll be fine. Mommy strong!" well, if she says so. She didn't say anything about cancelling the next session so that is a good thing.

' Wanted: Male room receptionists for Dr. Harvwell dental clinic for 2 weeks. Saturdays to Wednesdays 6-9 PM for 700 Pons. Price is not negotiable. Call #@$$@#@$@$@% for more information'

'Caretaker (thats a babysitter but for old peeps) wanted! Good looking human (Male or female doesnt really matter), no scary tattoos or anything creepy looking in your face (sorry!). Must be really good with cranky old granddads obviously. 7 PM to 1 AM Starting from Tuesday till next Monday. Please just call #^#$#%&&%, pons are not an issue. '

late post, but I have some thoughts I thought I would share
>>2752025
Good thing breaking things is easier than making them. If there's wires, we just take scissors, hide them in our uniform, and snip the wires. The oil replacement idea is good too. Messing with screws is harder because not only do you need a screwdriver, but the right screwdriver. Yuruagos might have a proprietary screw. The rest of the plan is pretty well laid out for us, we just gotta be quick and bring rubber gloves for fingerprints.

First things first, you called the receptionist number. It went on a for bit but a man answered your call "Who's this? Ssssssh!"

Was that ... a moan in the background? " Should i call later or something? I am calling for the ad in the daily Nileth."

"Nah, nah...we're just about done here." Dr. Harvwell? muffled the phone for a couple of seconds while talking to someone else "I am with you. So, you are interested in this job, huh? How old are you?"

" 17 " you heard a long sigh from the other side " As long as you are good with handling customers, numbers and have a pretty face, i don't care if you are a minor or not. What is your social status?"

"0-F"

"Of course." The dentist was getting frustrated with you. "I hate going to that Uriel ...blragh. Do you know Sanctus? "

"S-what?"

"A cafe, has a good spot for kids and failed adults playing those tabletop games. Take the first left after leaving the second subway exit then take another right, its the fifth building. can't miss the two armoured statues at the entrance. Meet there in an hour. " He ended the call before you had the chance to ask him what does he look like. Damn. He will probably stick out the most in this cafe.

Now it was the time to think about your devious plan. Obviously, you must have the right set of tools. The question is : what to choose?

Mr Tharanel mentioned screws, so some screwdrivers are needed. Miss Lilim had a lot of them in different shapes and sizes, you know that after helping her to install the kitchen. The smallest ones are best suited for the job, however, you don't know exactly what type of screw is waiting for you. Furthermore, you only have precious minutes.

The prosthetic arm can't be all mechanical, right? Something had to translate the signals sent from her nerve endings to her metal fingers. What if .... you had some magnet? A powerful one can wipe out hard drives on computers. It is the same concept , right? The real question is: Where to get such a thing?

As for the oil, You can't 100% rely on it since Mr. Tharanel said that she randomly brings it with her. There is almost the matter of colour, you had no idea whether it was transparent or not. The last possible obstacle for that route is its location; it is in the teacher's lounge. So many eyes around.

>Ask/Call ____ for their advice in the matter
> Gather certain tools for tomorrow [specify]
>Go to the nearest convenience store, buy ___

and

>Ignore the meeting with the dentist [ Choose another action to do from the ones in the last post]
>Head to Sanctus after wrapping up the essentials for your plan

Needlenose pliers, wire cutters/scissors seem like the most reliable plan. Also if we can find a screwdriver with multiple heads in one of the drawers.
>Head to Sanctus after wrapping up the essentials for your plan
>>
>>2756037
You looked around some drawers here and there. Eventually, you got everything you needed. Time to go to Sanctus
.
.
.

Where is it again? There are a lot of exits in Uri square. You had no choice but to ask others about it.
______

It turns out this Cafe is at the very edge of the square. You haven't been in this area before. The buildings there looked awfully old. Two were under renovations, another one was to be demolished entirely.

You were no architect but there was something different about these buildings ; despite their current state, they were once a sight to admire thanks to all these columns and statues. Come to think of it, they feel similar to some of the building you came across while in Miss Gallel's car.

You stood in front of the statues, the dyad formed this strange archway with their swords clashing right at the entrance. Isn't this a bit dangerous? they didn't look like cheap props to you.

Oh wow, they were really into this fantasy theme. You saw wenches in flashy costumes serving happy customers while a trio of bards were setting the tone with ye old music.

Sanctus was way larger that you had thought. It had two partitions. the first half was for non geeky folks who just want to enjoy a hot drink while listening to some fine tunes, the other half was dominated by groups of tabletop enthusiasts. Not your concern right now.

Your eyes scoured the single tables searching for the dentist. "Dr. Harvwell?" You hoped this is the right one.

"Oh my..." The elf was slightly stunned "Your...voice gave me the wrong expression." he blinked twice, mouth agape "Sit, sit.'

Dr. Harvwell wore a business suit with a black tie and a stylish red tinted glasses.. You wouldn't call him fat per say, he was slightly overweight. Nah, nah, the right term here is bulky. He was 100% bald though. From your experience, elves took pride in their hair. A bald elf would either wear a wig or pay a hefty sum for a hair implant. This one didn't care a slightest.

"How old are you again? What's your name?" He neatly put his glasses in the suit's pocket.

"17, Jeremiah Sol."

"Right, right. Which academy you are in? Erebus, Athenus or Hermus ?"

"Erebus. first year." You replied.

His rigid face loosened a bit "Ah, good one. I used to d-nevermind. Let's talk buisness. My former receptionist broke his... leg. I want a good substitute. You got the looks, thats for sure. But that's not all, you have to take calls, manage appointments and so on. The only thing i hate more than orcs are messy schedules. You think you are up for it?"

"Yeah, I can take it."

The dentist smirked "That's what i like to hear. I want you to come early to my clinic tomorrow at 5 PM. So you ca-" the man paused for a second squinting his eyes at you "Is your parents okay with this?"

You called Miss Lilim and gave Dr. Harvwell your phone afterwards. At first, the dentist was casually talking to your guardian. He became more serious as the call went on. The man did not saying anything really infuriating or offensive. His words didn't warrant such a vigorous reaction from Miss Lilim.

"Yikes. She hates my gut. " He put his glasses on " Sorry kid, Your guardian is absolutely against our little arrangement. Vileh e Kestral i guess." Dr. Harvwell was about to leave.

"Eh, plenty of cute fish to catch." He shrugged it off "You can have my drink, i already paid for it." just like that he was gone.

You turned to your right only to find a steaming cup of coco on the table, served by a rather voluptuous elf "Aw, he left already? He tips so good." She complained to no one before serving another customer.

The coco was surprisingly thick. It has to be something with the milk. It wasn't cow's milk that's for sure. Strange, you can taste some hidden bitterness in the mix which contributed to a lovely aftertaste.

While you were enjoying your drink, you did notice a couple of students from your academy. This has to be the official hangout for the ones in the tabletop club.

Well, no use sitting here. Time to g-

"Hello, Alexander." Oh no, it is him. Big Bishop , accompanied by three burly orcs with glasses. Next to him was a young dryad, roughly close to your age. Her skin was mostly devoid of bark. The bark manifested itself as small protruding strands across her skin.

Dryads in general are one of the most morphologically different species so this was not a surprise to you. She didn't have any hair aside from eyebrows. A halo of small branches crowned her head, each housed a beautiful blossom of different shape and colour. Her eyes were bright and yellow contrasting with petite pink lips. She wore plain black and white outfit.

You didn't know exactly what to say at the moment "Surprised to see me? I carve a special place in my heart for my childhood pastime. What a better place to vanish evil and hoard loot other than Sanctus, Isn't that right, sweetie?"

"..." A silent squirm vibrated from her sealed lips. She solely focused her attention on the ground outright refusing to look at anyone else.

One of orc whispered something to the king of Aliblaster. He shifted his attention to you " Why don't you join us for this session. As a one off Character? My sweetie is about to face quite a menace by herself. She can use a hand."

"...!" The dryad was about to say something but she chose silence once more.

"My system is great, you'll love it." You followed him to a private room in the second partition away from the public tables. It had everything in it; figurines, character sheets, maps, die and so on. They were stored in a glass cupboard. In the center of the room was a round table with 5 chairs. One was more ornamented than the others, probably for the the Session Master? Master hand? The term was almost at the tip of your tongue.

Two of the orcs sat down, the third remained outside. The dryad sat away from everyone else while you were sandwiched between the two orcs.

"Where is it?" The king of Aliblaster was skimming through some sheets and books "Ah, there it is, take a quick read while i set the pieces."

This brief introduction was handwritten quite well, it provided great insight into the world he was building. Whether he wrote it himself/ hired someone else to do it was unknown to you. You did your best to catch up with the most basic of mechanics. Easy to learn, difficult to master kind of thing.

__________

Two hours has passed already without you noticing, You were greatly immersed in this fictional world. Bishop was actually quite a good Session Master (you were too embarrassed to ask for the factual term).

You were playing as a fractured spirit, temporary bound to the dryad's main character: Siel. A male barbarian searching for a way to kill his past. It felt weird with her role-playing as a male and you doing the exact opposite. You still haven't heard a single word of her. She was visibly uncomfortable and yet she carried the whole game so far.

Currently, you two were in your average dungeon filled with curious traps. You as a immaterial being, did you part in disarming most of the out-of-reach ones.

" A fearsome lich in white robes and devilish horns stands before you. He sits confidently in his throne of bones. You two are.... unworthy of his attention." Bishop announced dramatically. This must be the boss of the dungeon "He snaps his fleshless fingers to summon his lowest of minions, An overgrown filthy decomposing rat, Jerr of Miah , the Liar. "

"Your turn, Alexander "

You got a nat 20, twice You, managing to possess such a minuscule beast amused the ancient Lich.

You had now a new set of skills, the drawback was of course losing your ethereal form in the process at least temporary. The Lich snapped his finger again, from his very throne, A ruthless horde of skeletons heeded the call of its master. They began their ceaseless assault. Luckily, Their were as strong as a paper mache.

The Lich was getting annoyed of this nuisance, he kept sending stronger waves to whittle you down. When his pile of bones were growing thin, he revealed a giant vile bone serpent beneath his throne.

It was almost an impossible fight for the barbarian but eventually, his last pet was defeated.

Bishop rolled the dice thrice before continuing " The Lich, spent and exhausted , had one last trick up his sleeve. He casts soul shackles on Siel only to offer the fleeting spirit a permanent corporal form. "

The dryad, who was undoubtedly invested in her character, rolled to break free of this hex. Luck was not on her side in this roll; snake eyes.

"The Lich laughs at Siel's pitiful attempt, he redirects his hollow orbs towards the possessed rat waiting for an answer"

According to the rules, you had a turn or two before your whole essence would disintegrate into the void.

You bellowed a bone shattering scream, it was more than enough for the lich to lose his focus. Siel took this golden chance to break free, his great axe primed at the Lich's crackling head.

The Lich was struck by a mighty force, his ancient bones scattered all over the ruins. This wasn't the end for the Lich. His Phylactery is warding him from true demise. For now, The barbarian stands victorious. His prize was an ancient scroll hidden among the Lich;s artifacts. It will bring him closer to his goal.

As for you, your spirit is undone. Without a mighty vessel, it ceases to exist in this grim world. A fate of nothingness awaits you. The dryad was visibly sweating, whatever the scroll is, it must be of importance to her.

"Well? How was the session?" Bishop asked you, he was in a good mood.

"There are plenty of jobs out there for a young man like you. The closer they are to Uri square, the better. You have no idea how much i...keep worrying about you and others. I just want you to be safe. " Her tone softened a bit. It must be stressful for her to keep tabs on everyone equally. You can understand her concern.

You promised her to be more careful. Slightly relieved, she left you to attend to other matters. Once she was gone, a slight discomfort erupted in your stomach. You...haven't took a dump in a while. Must be some serious constipation. Damn.

You got some E.M.A tomorrow. It wouldn't hurt to work out a bit. The gym is the optimal choice but it is too late now. The garden would do.

You took it slow and steady. While you were doing push ups, an elf approached you. he was clearly taking care of his body "We doin' this?"

For no reason, he took off his shirt positioning himself next to you "Work harder, not smarter! Uh huh, Uh huh! "

He was like a roaring engine, never stopping for a single break during his push ups "I can bench press 3 pixies, come on!"

You felt a burning fire raging inside your body urging you to keep up with his monstrous pace. At the end, you were dead exhausted while he kept going.

He helped you to get on your feet. The elf shared some of his rather unorthodox tips with you in the bathroom after you took a shower. You dived into your pod afterwards for a deep sleep.

I wonder, could you put up a kind of reminder at the beginnin of the thread of all the exams, appointments and promises we have to attend to, to keep track of them?

Also, at the start of each day, you could put up the date, bolded, to know how much time we got until rent is due and so.

_______

Brrrr, it is getting cold real fast. The allure of your warm bed was captivating. Not today, bed.

Almost everyone was flocking for a hot cup of tea/ coco/ coffee. No one had the energy for your typical morning chat.

Well, except for Cassandra.

"Come on! Get Snowy-er already! I wanna build a snowman!" She primed her half scornful fist at the grey skies.

"You are gonna catch cold going out like that." She barely wore anything warm.

"Cold? Whatstthat? I *never* get those. Only tummy aches..." said Cassandra before immediately sneezing a second later.

You gave her a napkin. It was outstanding how little self aware she was "That doesn't count, okay? heeey, wait a sec...."

She examined the used napkin, her face brightened more than usual "Ooooooh, You sly you! Going to Sanctus behind my back...you're searching for Valkayr's treasure, Like me!"

Oh yeah, you brought them napkins from the Cafe. It came with that thick hot coco. "Why didn't you tell me?!"

You approached the dyad saying your condolences to the girl. It was her friend who died. You didn't press for more details out of respect. Silently, you gave Miss Lilim the pons.

What a horrible way to start your day.

You took one meat loaf with you in a small plastic box. As a kid, you used to have this shiny red lunchbox. Lots of stupid kids bullied you for it because it had a 'girly' hippo on it.

Moving on, you took the first bus with Ronk who brought an umbrella with him just in case.

"Serves him right!"

"Disgusting."

"He isn't even funny"

The bus was rife with hateful comments about a certain human comedian. Luxor Divan , has met a severe backlash after joking 'too far' about elves and the current politics in Nileth. The ironic thing was - according to an old orc lady - that he used to joke all the time about non elves in a playful manner hence his relative popularity. He is to issue a public apologize later this evening.

Mr. Tharanel was in a extremely good mood today. No one (but you) knew why. It was one of the few instances when he didn't BLAM anyone. You learned a couple of new words today. It was a good class.

"Uh huh." You are not falling for it again especially with your current, non existent financial status. She quickly hopped onto another student seeking more potential stories.

You don't want to be late for your real first chess class. In fact, you were first the reach the chess room.

Mr. Muelden was... playing something on his handheld console. It involved at lot of musket fire and sword clashing, whatever it was.

"We're up? Lemme just pause aaaand..." He put his console back on an empty chess table.

"Eeey, give me a five." The Kendyal raised his hand for a high five. Others had arrived by now. Some were staring at you both with disdain.

"My man." You didn't care about those behind you. Vlan didn't show any reaction to the high five. He simply sat down waiting for the new lesson.

Mr. Muelden rubbed his hands together in anticipation "Alright, who is up for some sweet, sweet moves?" Few shared his excitement, they probably think that he is 'immature' or something silly like that. Not Monamon though, she was eager for more just like you.

" High Dam . Extremely defensive tactic, you'll be doing a lot of switching with your rooks and king while maintaining a solid wall of pawn..." Your teacher dissected this new tactic, showing its strengths and weaknesses in the next hour or so.

Maybe you should be writing some notes like others around you. Hmmm, maybe next time. The red haired elf took a five minute break before returning back to the class "We are technically done for today but i heavily encourage you to play against each other. The true art of chess lies in understanding the mentality of your opponent. Sooo, give it a try! "

"You, human, you are playing with me... Round Robin style " One of the elves sprung at you once the teacher was done. He had short black hair and a sharp jaw, something wasn't right about his right ear; it was asymmetric compared to the left one. While he didn't look on par with Vlan. He definitely was wealthier than you.

You had this feeling that he was more experienced than you . He is doing it to show off to his other snobby friends.

Jeremiah used High Dam

Elven Player used Glorious March

You did your best but he was unfortunately too good in baiting your pieces despite your defensive stance. Still, High Dam did have some potential against Glorious March. Not exactly a counter but close enough.

"As Expected, I am Hirthal by the way. Thank you for proving my point." That snobby smile, so infuriating.

" Oh please, You kept fumbling your pieces around. You have no right to be all haughty about it. " Vlan must have saw dozens of misplays from both sides. His tongue couldn't hold it anymore.

Your friend didn't wait for an invitation, he sat in your place and rearranged the pieces. Hirthal accepted this challenge....

....aaaand he got his butt kicked at the end.

With three queens, Vlan was basically toying with the poor single king piece "Checkmate."

"Whoa guys, easy with the tension." The teacher was silently watching this whole time "We are not playing Lokk here, chill."

"I am sorry, sir." Vlan needlessly apologized, the other guy didn't say anything. Instead, he left the room defeated and humiliated.

There was some time before break time (and ultimately your devilish plan). Monamon had finished a match with another elven girl. Unlike most here, she was quite friendly with her. Both were chatting after their match.

He gave you a gentle smile "Oh to be sure, My cousin will spare a bit of time for a fencing match with me this week. I would love to have you watching."

"Cool, see you around." you felt obliged to go with him on that one. After all, you kind of bailed out on him in both the first fencing match and the reenactment.

You had to leave real quick. After getting your tools, you went for Mr. Tharanel's office. He was waiting for at the door tapping his foot impatiently " What took you so long?"

"Sorry sir."

He dismissed your apology with a low grunt " Plan is simple: wait next to her office while i bait her out of it, go in and do your thing then slip out. Try not to make a fuzz out of it."

You nodded, following him closely. Miss Yuragos' office was at the end of the corridor. It felt strange walking around with your backpack like that but it was the best way to conceal your tools, otherwise they would jingle jangle in your pockets.

You waited outside for a couple of seconds before Miss Yuragos waltzed out of her office, armless and visibly perturbed, with Mr. Tharanel on her tail, he gave you a quick wink before catching up with her.

Time to sneak in.

Miss Yuragos' office felt like a prison cell; little furniture and decorations. She had such a bleak taste apparently. Her prosthetic arm was on her office desk. Jackpot.

The first thing to notice was this futuristic logo from the manufacturer, Magahab Tech. . You swore you had heard this name before. The air around the arm was shimmering and slightly warm. A quiet hiss seeped through tiny holes all over the arm.

The arm looked quite complex from up close, you spotted four possible entries. First one was this well hidden small screen which was showing the current status of the cooldown as well as some nifty things. You could pluck the covering lid to expose wires and what not around the screen itself. If you chose to tamper here, you will probably mess with the display. Not a bad idea.

The second entry was a rectangular lid at the shoulder end of the arm. It had some teeny tiny instructions engraved on it. This is where it's intended to be opened you think. Maybe the good stuff is there? It looks of secured enough.

Your third point of entry was right at the wrist, it had ridiculously small nails. You had a hunch it would interfere more with its motor skills. As for the last one, it was at the connecting end where these weird black strands are. It was the most straightforward of them all.

Of course, you could just ignore all of these and pour something into all of these tiny exhausts. You had some water with you (so you can eat the meat loaf without choking ). It is the fastest thing to do right now.

>Open the screen's lid, possibly sabotage the arm's display [d100]

Yeah, best not to make her suspicious by outright cutting them off. You switched some wires delicately making sure not to leave a single damning evidence of your tampering before slipping outside, unseen and unheard.

After keeping a safe distance, you watched Miss Yuragos trotting back to her office while teeming with pure anger. Moments later, a shriek of frustration and rage stemmed out of her office thanks to your undoing.

A couple of crashes and thuds had alerted nearby prefects/other teachers. Other students were also to follow just see what was going on.

Miss Yuragos once again exited her office. She had broken the glass on her desk plus what little decoration she had. Her arm had a mind on its own, waving, swirling...generally unpredictable.

And dangerous.

One couldn't simply approach a hunk of metal like that without risking a good slap. However, some were willing to take the risk to help her. When the masses grew around her, she let out a roaring wail "STOP LOOKING AT ME YOU FILTH- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Miss Yuragos surmounted the pain by forcibly trapping her flailing arm in a door and plucking it out with great rage. You swore you heard something pop in the process, The connecting strands were all bloody as Your poetry teacher had collapsed on the floor, slowly wheezing in pain "Don't...look. don't look..."

Miss Feryiah had just arrived with an emergency kit. She dropped next to Miss Yuragos immediately applying some proper aid "Sssssh, easy, easy..."

Several had already called an ambulance while perfect were trying to disperse the ever growing masses for some breathing air. That went south really, really fast.

Mr. Tharanel on the other hand was sulking in the back, barely able to mask his glee. He signaled you to follow him in his office.

" Damn, what a good show. She deserved every ounce of it. You have done more than i expected. I would give you two recommendations for that but rules is rules..." He pulled out the recommendation paper to sign it for you.

"Don't lose it." He handled it to you. You left his office with a sense of uncertainty lingering in your mind.
________

Thanks to the fuss created by you, The E.M.A class had started half an hour later. Furthermore, there were some extra delay as everyone were trying on their new uniforms. Yours was slightly tight but okay otherwise.

Well that is weird, why is the principal and his secretary are here? Furthermore, who is that young elf they are talking to?

"Say hello to Miss Lyrsuno, a lovely government inspector who has little trust Erebus academy." Miss Zarxell rather sarcastically.

"Inspector? what for?" Ronk Whispered to your side, visibly confused like most around here. The inspector fell silent, keenly focusing on your teachers.

Your orc teacher clapped thrice to kill any small chatter "Elven Martial arts is not about winning some prizes or having something to brag about. Its most important goal is to teach you self defense . There might come time where E.M.A can save you from horrible people out there."

"See this?" He pointed at a long scar down his neck "I got it when i was a fatass kid. An easy target for muggers to prey on. My life changed forever when i got into E.M.A."

"So girls, and boys to a lesser extent," The elf continued on his behalf " You guys need to eliminate the idea of gender when facing an opponent. We'll start with these first." She pointed towards a set of training dummies, half were males while the others were female " Hit'em and don't hold back. It helps me and my husband to see what you got."

You were assigned to a female training dummy. The amount of details put on this thing was incredible. It almost felt like... nah, that's a long shot.

It didn't feel right hitting a girl though. The same hesitation plagued several male students unlike the girls who were ready for some bashing, Shiwe included.

Miss Zarxell barked at the boys "That is bitch is out of for your life! She is going to beat you the fuck up and go for your mom. What are you waiting for?! kick the ever loving shit out of her!"

Whether you were influenced by her words or not, you landed a flurry of random punches and kicks at the training dummy. It actually felt nice to let it all out. The true star of the dummy onslaught was Livendagen , the girl who won the reenactment for the first time. She was a literal beast. Mr. Yorgme had to step in forcing her to take a rest.

The inspector kept scribbling some notes, her eyes never to leave your teachers. As for the principal, he retained his same old expression, occasionally whispering something to his secretary.

"Fun time is over. " said Miss Zarxell "Take a five and we'll continue."

You sat on a bench that to Ronk who a goofy smile on his face "Yeah boy, That was good . You okay, Jay man?"

"Just...hungry." Your stomach grumbled in protest. You planned to eat the meat loaf during break. No dice.

"I am totally getting bloated after this. Its like my day off." You wished you had the luxury to do so. You really need to cook more food.

Time's up. You stood up expecting round two of dummy massacre.

You were wrong.

"Hitting inanimate objects is one thing. Hitting a living person is entirely another thing. My wife and i want to break this mental block most of you will have during fighting." He took a deep breath "We want you all to.... make a physical contact with us. Again, I can't stress how important this for E.M.A . However, due to your current age and how others can see this situation, you are not obliged to touch us."

The inspector spoke for the first time "I need both your verbal consent and your signature before...starting." Honestly, everyone was stunned. They just want you to touch them? You can see why the inspector is here.

Some of the boys arched a devious smile, while some of the girls were nervous and/or flustered. You never saw Shiwe blushing like that before. Monamon's slits were pulsating rapidly, her wings buzzing silent yet at an insane pace.

Hioelke literally rushed towards the inspector in a childish manner. He didn't seem to care at all as he signed the paper. A good number of girls outright refused to do it, Shiwe was among them.

Most of the boys signed the paper. When it was your turn, The inspector asked you more than once if you alright with this. It was slightly annoying to be honest. She really didn't want you to do it.

"Boys, to me. Girls, go to my husband. I will start with you." Surprise, surprise, It was Hioelke.

The orange haired elf stepped in with a shit eating grin on his face "See those bags of fat? They single-handedly prevent thousands of men to hit women or in your case, hit back " She pointed at her breasts. You were starting to get uncomfortable already.

"I want you to gently touch th-" She didn't manage to finish her sentence as he literally groped her right breast. Not a split second later, Miss Zarxell slapped him so hard that he was knocked on the floor "Little shit. "

"How dare you hit a young boy like this?!" The elven inspector immediately stood by his side. Shit was getting real between the two elves. The principal did interfere promising proper punishment for Hioelke. Despite most of Miss Lyrsuno's effort to condemn your teacher, the class continued smoothly after Hioelke was taken out by the secretary. The prick said 'worth it' when he was on his way out.

Miss Zarxell called you next, her mood was a bit soiled momentarily. She were soon to return to normal much to the inspector's chagrin "As i was saying, gently touch them. Do not be all iffy about them. it is okay to feel strange and tingly about it."

You gulped before slowly touching her right breast. It felt...nice and firm. Your body temperature was on the rise, you were choking. Oh no, not now...

"Hey, look at me, look at me in the eyes. It is okay." slowly, she grabbed your other hand and placed it on her right. You can sense her beating heart. "Keep up with the eye contact. Good, good..."

This lasted for a couple of seconds, you heart was about to burst "Congratulations, You had just beaten your haywired instinct. Now, Try to hit me. No holding back."

You couldn't land a single hit on her before you found your face glued to the floor. She had already pinned you down. You had to tap out before she would let you go. The inspector leeched on you afterwards asking you whether she 'molested you' or not. You gave her the answers she didn't look for.

Semi-beaten up and exhausted, you sat down on the bench watching how things went to the others. Ronk did slightly better than you (he was still pinned down like a baby) while Monamon instinctively hovered away when Mr. Yorgme was about to pin her down.

This gained her an ireful gaze from the principal, she didn't cross the five meter threshold so she was fine. Livendagen put up a very decent fight that lasted a couple of minutes instead of the usual ~10 seconds. Her blocks and hits weren't random at all. Still, she was no match for him.

The class was finally over. You had a nice shower trying not to think too much about what happened. As you were leaving the academy, you realized something dreadful...

You returned to the pods as quickly as you could before heading back to the academy. The orc librarian was almost about to leave actually, he begrudgingly took the book. That was close.

On the way back, the traffic was terribly congested. Might as well eat the loaf while you are idly sitting like that. The amount of honks you heard was maddening, do they simply expect the traffic jam to go away like that? If anything, it adds more stress to everyone around making them prone to potential accidents.

It was 5:03 PM by the time you finally arrived. Miss Lilim was outright furious about what happened in the E.M.A class despite Ronk (and others) trying to calm her down. She was hell bent on visiting principal Jaglioth. You had little energy to intervene; your voice won't convince her otherwise.

You were exhausted.... and conflicted about today's events. So much emotions stirring inside you right you. It is almost dizzying.

Yeah, best to drop dead in your bed. Your uniform was getting slightly uncomfortable. Maybe you should buy a spare from Ika, next time you have some pons.
________

Your dream... it felt so real, you can feel a gentle touch, a soft whisper, a rush you never experienced before! And then...

and then it abruptly ended.

You woke up, in the middle of night, panting heavy and sweating like there is no tomorrow. What is that strange sensation? You exited the pod in your undershirt. Why is it so hot ?

Maybe a cup of coco will soothe your nerves a bit. You found your guardian drinking a cup of coffee, she had bloodshot eyes worse than your math teacher.

"Miss Lilim, Are you alright?"

"A bit stressed. I don't like funerals, Your stupid teacher didn't make my day any easi-Oh...."

Her eyes were fixed on a certain stain . She rubbed her forehead "Jeremiah, please sit down..."

You had never felt so much embarrassment in your life like now. Part of you wanted to run as far as you can. You ignored every scream of your mind and sat next to Miss Lilim "First of all, why do you agreed on touching your teacher inappropriately?"

"I...didn't have to. I guess i was thinking about the E.M.A more than, you know..." . So this was the talk , huh? Miss Lilim was your guardian, your closest adult and yet it didn't feel right. You wished...you wished you were talking with your mom or your dad about it.

"You are going through difficult times. I am aware. But please, listen to me carefully." She took one last sip of her coffee "What you are experiencing is perfectly normal. Your body will want more of this new tempting world. Don't "

Miss Lilim was dead serious, " Don't be a slave for your body needs, it is okay having happy accidents like this. Don't poison your mind with some videos on the internet or ... some one-time. I have seen young boys and girls fall into this trap, I don't want you to follow their downfall. Focus on your studies, that is your number one priority. "

"You will always have me by your side, never forget that. "

After drinking some coco, you went back to your pod. Somehow, Speaking with Miss Lilim made you feel better. You put all of this behind your back and continued your sleep.
________

Tuesday, 27th of January.

Since Miss Lilim was going to the academy anyways, she offered to drive some wit her along the way. Sadly, you weren't so lucky to call dips on one of the seats. Damn it.

You took the subway this time, with so little pons, you ignored buying the newspaper because you are poor as dirt right now. Earning some extra pons this week is a must, one way or another.

Mr. Maxon bored the hell out of the class with some Volcanic rocks, You almost feel pity for this guy; trying his damnest to earn respect among his students (and other teachers). Once the class was finally over, you looked around for Hioelke. He wasn't there. You did hear from his friends that he was suspended for a whole week. Nice.

As for Miss Yuragos, She outright refused to take some vacation despite the doctors' advice. There is a good chance of her attending today's class. Oh boy, she is going to be pissed.

Yvaal was hopping between desks, she was beyond thrilled; two big scoops happening on the same day, it is like her personal heaven "Say something witty about the boob grope or Poetry teacher gone wild.... or both!" Her pen was swirling between her anticipating fingers.

"Hmph, whats really unfortunate was her boob size, i mean look at them! Hers are like small pimples. I got bigger tits than her already" You wanted to say they were the same but chose to remain silent. She immediately went for Monamon who refused to give her any comment, only an annoyed buzz.

Little Miss reporter had to sit down as your dryad teacher had arrived. She had an interesting topic at hand:

Plastics and polymers. It was really hard to ingest all these information properly. Miss Buldun suggested an outside source on some website. You wrote it down just in case.

"Looks like i missed quite a lot yesterday." Vlan remarked, come to think of it, you didn't spot him in Miss Yuragos' incident. " Chaos can be amusing sometimes, don't you think?"

"I guess, " you replied " How was the fencing class?"

"Less Groping and More poking. I won a casual match yesterday. The line up for this year is ruthless. Ten times worse than the chess. It is fine, I will thrive to be even better."

Mr. Tharanel had arrived with no stick, no briefcase. Nothing. "Today is your lucky day kiddos. As long as you got keep it quiet, I'll allow it. I had my share of BLAMs yesterday with that orange punk. Still, if you got a question related to the subject step up and i'll do my work."

"For real?! "

Actually, It wasn't difficult to focus on poetry. Most didn't want to revoke this rare privilege. Almost all kept it quiet. Back in your mind, however, you kept thinking about Miss Yuragos. What she will say/do to you and others? Whatever it will be, it is no good.

Just as Mr. Tharanel had left the class, Terreth had arrived bearing some news "There is a mandatory drug awareness lecture next Thursday from 12 to 3. It will count as a normal day so don't consider skipping this one." The whole class booed at the prefect. Shiwe looked at you with certain unease in her eyes. In a way, you two were responsible for this.

Damn it, this will interfere with your modelling job.

Stopping here for now, thank you for playing!

When The prefect was about to leave, He was met by a spiteful glare from Miss Yuragos, He allowed her to enter the class before leaving you all to your fates.

The elf didn't have her prosthetic arm. It is either busted or beyond repair. She tucked the empty sleeve so it won't flail around with every move. "No body leaves."

" You ungrateful rats , you think this will crack me? You had just created a nightmare that you'll never escape from. "

"No offense, Miss Yuragos, but don't you think it is too much for a freaky accident?"

"SILENCE" Yvaal was straight up terrified "There are no 'accidents' or 'coincidences', you turn your back for ONE second, just one second and one of those non elves will twist a knife in your back right after. You don't deserve any elven kindness, leeches."

Your poetry teacher showed the class a large dossier, It was her handwritten explanation of the curriculum "This is what little kindness i had for your inferior kind."

The next second, she pulled out a lighter presumably to burn it all, You had a suspicion that this is the only version.

>[Watch in silence, do nothing]

Miss Yuragos did put out the fire with a bottle of water when it was growing up so fast to avoid the fire alarm "I never want to see your ugly faces in my class, ever! "

You and others were basically thrown out class. What a bummer. Was this your fault? Nah, don't blame yourself on her behalf. She is totally an irrational individual.

Technically, it was still break time. You had doubt she would let you in after her lovely speech. You see no other option but to leave.

" Zereimah, This is unz..unzust." Huh, Kolamon spoke to you for the second time. The pixie was clenching his tiny fists in anger, his wings creating a small gale behind him. The gauge on his wing case kept flashing green "Principal must know. I alone, not enough. Many voices better Viekorsomm "

>Got that right. We have to stand up for yourselves. She can't just ignore us like that!

Having personally dealt with the problem of antagonistic teachers, i've found it more useful to roll with the punches than speak out.
Speaking out gets eyes on the problem, but what is really effective is proving how unreasonable they are being by being a model student.

Yvaal can speed this up considerably with her going about asking everyone and their cousins. You had zero doubt about it. Excluding you for the equation, Shiwe was affected by this as well.

For the first time, you returned back to pods with the twins. Kolamon opened up just a bit for you. Still, he was very protective of his sister frowning slightly whenever you spoke with her.

______

Miss Lilim had little success with the principal. She spoke to the E.M.A teacher though, once he got to know her (like with Miss Gallel) she was slightly less agitated about the whole matter. Still, she looked very stressed out. At least someone made a lovely lunch. You rarely see this orc talk with anyone around. Hmmm.

It was a huge steamed blue leaf, really thick enough to have this mouth-watering light blue ooze coming from the sides like some cheese. Small slices of fried meat surrounded the leaf, yep, that is gotta be some quality dip for the ooze.

You were getting hungry already, you finished your meat loaf in the lounge while watching the news. Minutes later, your stomach was starting to protest with uncomfortable gurgles.

It was 3:09 PM. You had a lot of time to do whatever you wanted.

The slop looked slightly more different than you recall. Was it these new sets of chairs? Oh nice, a new TV, that will pay for itself on the long run. The place was doing alright, not many customers but better than nothing.

"My boy! " Kreiden washed her hands first before giving you a big ol' hug. "Where have you been? You are not wasting your time like that silly boy Ronk on beefing up, are you?"

"I am barely scraping by actually." it felt a tad rude coming only here for the pon. Like Miss Lilim, she is very kind to you.

It seems that a surge of customers were already filling the new seats. Ah, a Lokk match. The white stag was among them.

"Get inside, qui-"

"Kreiden, I want to speak with the boy, if you don't mind." The dryad demanded in a casual manner. You recognize the centaur next to her, yeah, back at the laundromat.

"Hmmmm." The orc seems to be more acquainted with the mango scented lady. " Don't take too long or I'll put your ass in the kitchen instead."

For the first time, the dryad genuinely smiled. You sat next to her ready to listen "Tell me boy, This Bishop fellow....Did he want to see you again or something like that? I had this question burrow inside for quite sometime. Is anyone causing you trouble ?" She emphasized on the last part.

The bus was a literal nightmare today; you were pretty much forced to cling for your life right at the door. Each time someone had to leave, you had to step away. At least you are in the academy on time in one piece.

Miss Liyah completely Mr. Jaglioth's warning. She was pretty much the same, well the notable exception was her hair. It was messier than the usual.

"You, go to Waxwell and bring me more coffee." She shook her empty thermal cup.

You sighed before taking the cup. You got a good joke out of Waxwell as he was refilling her cup. It was from one of his old friend back when he was in the army. That brightened your dull morning.

"Give me." Your teacher couldn't wait to drink her morning poison. " I left something for you on the board, solve it while i finish my drink."

It might have looked a bit intimidating at first but you had all the givens you needed to solve it.

"Not bad. Too many steps, Jeremiah." She casually showed you how to circumvent it. Vlan gave you a thumbs up when you returned to your desk.

It was smooth sailing afterwards. Energized, Miss Liyah grinded your gears with new rules to memorizes. It wasn't as dreadful as last time.

Once that was done, you were free to approach Yvaal who was checking her notes "Yeah?"

"We need to talk about Yuragos..." You slowly started to explain Kolamon's plan. The pixie slightly tilted his chair towards you but didn't actually speak with you.

"Oooh, sounds like some uprising against the evil elves, Vileh e Kestral !!! "

"Huh?"

"Oh come on, don't you know where this greeting came from? It was the revolutionaries' saying as a hidden code so the loyalists won't find out who is who. Wow, your elven history is terrible."

"..." you were still confused.

She let out a deep sigh "It. means. i . will. join you , stoopid human. Yeesh, work this dome for a change, will you?" she gently knocked on your head

She shrugged it off "Come on, we are walking down the right path. Smooth baby steps." Well, you couldn't argue with here but there is still a huge room for improvement.

As a kid, you didn't give much attention to elven history. Why would you? Learning the language itself was recently introduced among some city states. Your early school years didn't have an Elven language as a subject, most of the city states didn't care about proper Elven education for non elves. Why teach those 'lessers' your tongue while you can communicate with them via a more common language?

Segregation at its finest.

"Now, fellow Revolutionary, I'll go and print some good paper for this kind of job. Your job is to give me ...." She made some quick calculations in her head "...about 150 pons . Nothing beats a good representation when it comes to petitioning. I'll be back with the right stuff to be get started."

"Not quite." he pointed at himself "Centaurs were the first to implement it. Since the dawn of history, we lived and died in endless steppes. Neither food nor land were an issue to us. Breeding however, was a different story."

The centaur cleared his throat, tension was ebbing ever so slightly in his voice " Many of you don't know that there are two females in our kind. First one is Ulavix or the Sunborn, they are the centaurs you see everyday and Joliuxiv or the Moonborn...They...are less elvenoid. Imagine a regular centaur but without armd and with long face and continuous fur..."

It was really hard to picture what are those Joliuxiv were " The Joliuxiv had high fertility rates compared to a regular centaur. In order to control who had the right to breed with them, we created the progenitor of the status card system. Centuries later, elves were to copy this system in their golden ages to facilitate bureaucracy for the tax collectors and to impose more status card related laws, securing their grasp on non elves even more...."

Your curiosity was killing you, just what is this second female kind? From his description, they might look like some four legged animal. Saying this might be incredibly offensive to the centaur so you kept your mouth shut. All in all, you learned a lot this class.

"You learn a new thing everyday." Vlan remarked, before briefly checking his phone "Good news, My cousin is free right this afternoon, 5 to 8 to be exact . I thought we would be going tomorrow. I suppose you are free, yes?"

>Yep, i want to see you poking him real good

"Oh, I will. He has been growing more and more arrogant since the last time i saw him. It will be glorious."

After the class was over, you had your meat loaf in a lonely corner. It was nice for Yvaal to come over and sit next to you. Amazing it was to see her maintaining a coherent train of words while gulping down lots of sugary bits she bought from the kiosk. Who would win in a eating contest Cassandra or Yvaal?

First she started talking about her plan you. The next 10 minutes were constant deviations from the main topic.

"....wait, your dad is a cop?" you had no idea how you got there.

"Yeah Ishtre has been in the police department for 50ish years. He knows a *lot* of people.... He never likes me to call him dad or daddy. Who am i supposed to be all whiny next to, hmmm?"

The break was short lived afterwards, you headed for your chemistry class. Many around were whispering among themselves.

"Dude, did you see Miss Yuragos?"

"That arm though..."

"How did she recover so fast??"

"She.is.a.cybrog. DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN"

The dryad were soon to arrive. She wasn't happy with all the side talk. Once all settled down, she delved further into plastic and polymers.

Oh no, Miss Yuragos was waiting right next to the door with a blazing glare. She wanted every non elf to be out when the chemistry class is done.

She took a couple of steps inside, you chose to completely ignore her focusing solely on the board until she stood right in front of you.

In an instant, she slammed your desk with her new mechanical arm. The slam was so fierce that it left a visible imprint on the wood. Her cold lips inches closer to your right ear "Out of my class, vermin."

Aside from her terrifying presence, the pressure of so many eyes around you was immense. Some of the non elves, were watching you from a safe distance (outside of the class).

>"No."

"Who do you think you are? Out of my class right now!" Again, you refused to grant her the satisfaction she ever so desir-

" I asked nicely twice, you got no one to blame but your miserable little ego. " Cold mechanical fingers latched onto your shirt. The next moment, you found yourself a couple of inches above the floor. How could she lift you so easily? She dropped you right at the door. After going inside momentarily, she threw your backpack on the corridor's floor scattering its contents all over. "Never show me your pathetic face again in my class. "

With that said, she slammed the door behind her leaving you to get all of your scattered books and what not.

We are stopping here for now, thank you for playing!

Shiwe helped you out to clean this mess up. Good thing you didn't have your phone in there. This was the second class you couldn't attend, you thought your earlier determination would have changed her mind. Damn.

You had to wait for Vlan. It wasn't so bad idling in the courtyard. You played on your phone a little, admired Miss Gallel's statue. You have to be honest, Nileth's free internet (at the lowest speed) and phone services are a bane in your existence. Not all city states provide free services like that. An hour was almost gone in a snap.

Once the class has ended, Vlan approached you with a hint of concern on his face "Are you alright? This was hardly necessary"

"I am fine, " you brushed it off "So, where are we going?"

"First, I believe a proper lunch is in order. I do have somewhere in mind but you may not.... feel comfortable eating there. Choose a destination and we'll have our lunch there."

>I hope your don't mind orc diners, [Suggest the slop for him]

"Sounds good, I'll...excuse me. " someone called your friend. From the looks of Vlan, it was not a pleasant call.

It wasn't a surprise to see a SUV waiting for him (and you). It was a different car from last time, the interior almost identical to the previous car though.

"Take us to the nearest Grun 'n' Sunk."

________

Oh man, the place was cramped. It was the weekend after all, still, you two managed to find a proper seat amidst the ravenous families around.

"What can i ge- Oh...." What? Xekev? It wasn't her shift " Its the asshole who sneaked in my apartment to see nan." her eyes went red.

>[Apologize to her]

She spinned her pencil "A customer is still a customer..." she dispelled any anger left for a more friendly face "Have you heard of our Gorgon offer?"

"No, but i am slightly interested." said Vlan.

"Great, sponsored by Valkayr Studios, We have a giant sandwich for our tabletop enthusiasts. Eating it under 20 minutes will award you a small wooden box with some pristine loot inside. . Not a single adventurer has bested the Gorgon with its spicy head . Are you willing to take on this mighty creature and rid us of this evil?"

Holy shit, that sandwich is huge! The ad she showed to you and Vlan had to be exaggerating. If it is not lying, then one is supposed to eat a table-long sandwich. Is it even possible to eat all of this let alone in 20 minutes ?

"Only for 350 pons , the challenge is yours."

"What? are you crazy?" you protested.

"Well, I can't duel with all these food slouching about. However, I won't object you trying it, Jeremiah?"

>Xekev....Bring me the Gorgon
>I will eat regular people food, thank you very much [Order a combo meal]

You had to consider both your poor stomach and Vlan's wallet. True, he is the host but that doesn't mean needlessly exploiting you like that.

Oh man, it was so good. Vlan is missing out ; he chose to eat some weak salad instead. Best not to question him about it.

After you two were finished, another waitress left you a small paper to fill out. Vlan actually wrote a full on review. As for you, you gave everything 5 star except for the staff; a big old zero.

_________

"So where are we going? Va'lashe district?"

"Not quite, " Vlan said so while glancing at the district's clean streets " My cousin, arrogant as he is, decided to relocate in the heart of Nileth away from our family's district."

Family? Oh yeah, it is named after his family. You didn't notice that before. After an hour of driving, the SUV stopped at a large wall separating the heart of Nileth from other districts. Various gateways were all over this impermeable wall. It felt like a damn fortress to you.

The SUV was searched thrice before a large metal gate would open. The driver handled all of the crap thrown at you by the heavily armed guards.

"Welcome to Emieldeth, The heart of Nileth" You were simply amazed by the architectural wonders all over this districts; modern skyscrapers, futuristic structures and monuments. It was a whole new world to you.

"We did not forgot our heritage." Vlan reminded you "The elven forest of Nileth still exists. It is on the other side among other important landmarks." The driver did stop seconds later. How ironic, the place his cousin is supposed to be looks like a janitor's room compared to the other wonders around you. There is always a bigger fish out there....

The elven security inside the entrance immediately tensed up when they saw you. While the ignored Vlan, They scanned you numerous times with metal detectors and other tools unknown to you. The driven spoke with them in elven, it was hard to make out what they said, pretty sure one of them called you an animal or something like that.

You took the elevator with Vlan. You and him were immediately bombarded with ads on the elevator's glass screen. The chromatic aberration on downright horrible and dizzying. His apartment was on the 9th floor. Man, must be hell to go there on foo-

Never mind, they had escalators for stairs. Why wouldn't they? What about a blackout, hmm? Checkmate.

"I apologize in advance." whispered Vlan right after ringing the bell. He rang again, what is up with this loud music?

An orc opened the door, "Hello Master Vlan and his honourable friend, Master Edenel the seventh is expecting you."

The place looked...messy. You were extra careful not to step on this broken Vase...and the toilet paper. Vlan was slowly getting anger other this, you followed him silently with no further comments on the chaos around you.

"Look whos up for the party, boys and girls!" ah, this must be Vlan's cousin. Edenel had spiky blonde hair with similar features to Vlan except older. he had various friends slouching on his couches in different states of intoxication. The man himself was a bit tips. This party has watched a good carpet and a mega flat screen pelted to death with empty cans

"Cousin, what is this? We agreed on something else entirely. Where is your outfit? The classical music? *Your* Fencing colleagues?"

"Chilllll, chilllll. Dad gave me 300 grand, gotta spend them somehow! what better way to spend them than some fine company!" He shifted his attention to uou "Ah, this is your boyfriend from that shithole school or whatever. Aren't you young for this kind shit? "

"Leave the kid alone, Ed, you fucked me in the ass when i as 16!" One of his friend burped in protest.

"He is my friend." Vlan deflected the accusation "besides, It is my choice to attend Erebus academy. I am to be a successful politician, I must not stay cooped up in the high echelons on our societ-"

"Who gives a shit?" His cousin interrupted him "Hey kid, are you his boyfriend? " He casually waved a small stack of pons on your face.

>[ Shove his money aside ]
>What are you talking about?
>I see what you are doing here. Pissing off your opponent before a good match. Nice try but Vlan won't fall for it.

Clearly all the orc food we've had up till now was just snail giving us chances to train our stomach for this day, and we blew it. I'll never be not depressed again. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH"
His friends flared up like wild fire. They didn't care (or understand) the slightest about your insult to them.

You did get him all riled up, "I see, i see...juuust a second." The tipsy elf quickly disappeared into an adjacent room before showing up with two actual rapiers .

He cut off the cables of his speaker with one elegant swipe "We're doing this? Huh? HUH?"

"Cousin, these are a family heirloom."

"Scaaaaared? BAAAAWK BABABAAAAAAWK!" he flapped his non existent wings like a chicken. "You wanted a duel and there you have it. No protection or anything, have at you!" He recklessly threw the extra rapier right beneath Vlan's feet.

_________

Insolent dog, This rapier shouldn't have never bestowed about a cretins like him. If only he wasn't a part of your bloodline.

Your hands were aching to grab the rapier like those before you. It used to stand firm and strong in the hands of the king's elite guard.... now it is but a mean to settle a petty squabble. Your mind was screaming for you to stop. Yo do remember what happened with Jeremiah, Can you control the beast within?

Your human friend was aware of the current situation, his mouth was silent and yet his eyes were begging you to leave this cesspool. He might be right, he might be wrong.
