Young Justice

For almost a century superheroes, masked adventurers, and supervillians have dominated the imagination and the streets of world. They helped win World War II in a relatively quick and clean fashion, but superpowered beings have also held various cities and even countries at hostage with their elaborate schemes, doomsday weapons, and terrible powers; their heroic brethren bailing us out of their designs most of the time.

For seven years the Justice League, a team of superheros acting in concert, has acted with the permission of the UN to protect the world from threats human, natural, superhuman, and supernatural. They’ve done a great job, but the work is getting harder and harder as the years pass. To help aid them, they’ve allowed their sidekicks and younger heroes to join together as a Team and take ‘smaller’ jobs and missions.

Hey, M’gann, could you read this woman’s mind,” you ask underneath your breath. “That explanation makes zero sense. They could find a suit themselves after all, especially if they’re raiding this facility and know the facts before hand.”

M’gann stares at her with a smile on her face, as her voice suddenly booms in your head. “Of course, you don’t need to talk out loud either you know. And while it’s a lie...she knows there is something dangerous down there. Biological and chemical, not radioactive. The only people who know for sure are the scientists who work in that facility, Alva, and someone named Dr. Metclaf who doesn’t work here anymore.”

"Well excuse us, we’ve got to go double check everything," You say, waving goodbye, and silenting thinking 'Meg go invisible, we need to see if anyone knows Metclaf or someone who works in the lower left lab.'

You turn into a flea, leaping into M’gann’s hair as soon the two of you find a hallway without a security camera perched in it’s corner or people going down it; M’gann herself goes invisible as soon as you do so. The two of you bumble around for thirty minutes trying to find an actual way into the lab. The door was unlocked with a DNA, Retinal, and fingerprint locks. Robin could hack it, but he was checking on his contacts right now.

“Are you SURE, you can’t turn intangible?” You ask her mentally. “It would make this a whole lot easier.”

“Sorry,” M’gann thinks a little nervously. “Density shifting on that level is an extremely advanced technique. What I can do is fly behind someone until they open the door.”

You’re about to say you don’t think someone would be dumb enough to leave a door open with that much security, but within a minute you’re proven wrong. Some older scientist walks by with his hands full of chinese food boxes, and repositioned himself constantly to fit all of it in. You’re suddenly reminded that Robin told you half the time to hack anything, you just had to put in ‘password’ or ‘12345’
When you enter...there’s nothing really to hint it’s radioactive. There are men in those yellow, baggy Hazmat suits behind thick glass walls, complete with the standard three door security system, but they’re all working diligently with microscopes and freezers.

‘M’gann, let’s try to listen in on what those guys by the watercooler are talking about,’ you think at Miss Martian. ‘They might have heard something.

M’gann silently obliges, floating right above them, mere centimeters from the ceiling.

Both of them were in good shape, with strong jaws and almost bland features outside of that. The only real way you could tell them apart was the beard and tattoos one sported, an eagle bearing a Marine regiment tag on one arm and an American flag on the other. There were more, but you could really make them out.

The clean shaves one gulped down a cup of water and then spoke up, “You know it’s amazing, I honestly thought we’d see any of this stuff move into any place that wasn’t redacted or some military joint. I thought this stuff was souped up Sarin gas”

“It’s going to the police, so I guess you could it’s going to the kiddie army,” the tattooed one laughs. “How long you’ve been here kid? This isn’t a weapon like the last stuff was. The material Alva is letting go to them was a failure, mostly anyway. Dr. Flack thought it could cure Alzhimers and Lou Gehrig disease, but all the juice really does it microwave you if you drink it or burn your eyes and make you an emitter for the rest of your life if it’s gas form.”

“Then why are we being pulled on overtime for this? And why would the cops want it?” The clean shaven one asks.

“Think dummy, it’s TEAR GAS that marks you and everyone you associate with for life,” The tatted one says, rolling his eyes. “Even a failure like Quantum Juice makes millions. I think Alva still makes twice what he poured into the project. The Midas touch on that old man.”

“So why’d he sack Nathan then?” The clean shaven one asks one last time, before his more experienced colleuge checks his wristwatch and walkly talkie.

“He didn’t. Dude just went missing; maybe Hardware whacked him,” The vet says, “Main office says those super brats have gone missing. We’re to check up and down to make sure they aren’t sticking their nose were it doesn’t belong. Justice League might be working with Hardware after all.”

“Alright, let’s go,” you think. “Robin is going to want to know about this.”

Miss Martian flies back towards and the door you came through, and you leave with the two grunts. You make it back at the dilapidated apartment building, just in time to watch Robin get in before the two of you. You follow, almost expecting a lecture for being late or whatever.

Instead, Robin just turns to you, “Alight what’s the port?”

“Well, they might be after something called Quantum Juice,” you say frowning, “And if not, the League should still look into it because it’s definitely illegal or unethical or something. Was meant for genetic modifcation and instead it was as tear gas and as a genetic marked. Oh and in liquid form it’s lethal.”

“That’s...not good.” Robin says frowning

“So I’ll contact Batman, but that doesn’t change the fact we definitely have to stop the tech thieves from pulling this off now,” Robin says. “The last thing we need is this is in the hands of the Joker or something.”

“What did you find out from S.H.R.E.D.E.R?” You ask.

“That Alva hired them to protect that lab you found out, but with a very hush hush deal that wouldn’t make S.H.R.E.D.E.R libable for anything that Alva Technologies was doing,” Robin starts off, “Oh, and that Deadshot and the Livewire have been spotted in town.”

“They’re also going to need a hacker,” you interject. “Do you want me to hit up the internet cafes in town to see if word is around about a hacker suddenly in town pull this off?”

“Good observation, but there is a problem with a that line of action.” Robin says, putting a hand up. “They need the other two in public to prepare, the hacked can be pulled out of the hat last minute and squirreled away until then. Still when the heist actually goes down, I’ll keep a look out for any signs of cyber intrusion.|

M’gann raises a hand. “Sorry to interrupt, but how are we going to actually protect Alva Technologies?”

“We’re going to need to divide ourselves into three groups. One to guard the perimeter, one to guard the entrance to the lab, and a last line of deference. There is definitely a chance they could slip through one of notice and that way, we have eyes everywhere.”

The logic you used is sound. Plus, as the guy who can turn into dinosaurs and other big and tough animals, we're best suited for a durable last line of defense.
>>
“I’ll take the lab,” you answer. “I have the beefest powers...no pun intended.”

M’gann laughs. “I think I should be the one outside. My powers are most perceptive.”

Robin shakes his head. “No, you’ll take the middle. We’ll need you to psychically link us all together. If you do down we’re blind and deaf. You’ll guard the door, that way both of us can get to quickly if you need back up.”

“O-okay,” M’gann says, blushing in embarrassment.

Robin puts a hands on her shoulder. “Don’t sweat it, you’re new to this. Anyway we leave at sundown. The thieves have only stricken around midnight and we’ll need to set some roots.

……………………………

It was 2 A.M now, no sign of intruders. You don’t know how Robin convinced the staff to let you in here officially, but you guess it pays to have Batman as a your mentor. Either he had that intimidation thing down, or all he needed was a name drop. In either case, all you did is whistle and pretend that the lab technicians weren’t desperately trying to hide everything from site.

You hear a crackle and smell electric circuits melting. You sniff a couple of times, trying to pin point it, but the order disappears. You shift into a blood hound, only for the lights to brown out and come back on almost soon as it does. You turn around in circles, like you’re chasing your tail but you see nothing.

One of the security guards shrugs his shoulders. “Welcome to Dakota City.”
“Nothing here either,” Miss Martian adds. “Maybe they heard we were coming and decided to hit an easier target?”

Robin fumes and then thinking something a little more clearer. “Look around a little more Changeling.”

You waddle happily throughout the lab, tag wagging. Nose to the ground you sniff again, the scent of broken crispy high tech gear is still fresh in the air. And getting fresher and closer to the room blocked blocked off by the thick glass and steal doors.

“Sorry kid, it dangerous to enter there,” one of the guards says, trying to block you off.

You expand rapidly, shifting into the form of a horned bull that stands even taller then the guard. He rolls out of the way, soon as you rush towards the door head first. The door goes flying...and right into a blue woman.

She turns to you eyes blank, hand extended, sparks coming off her fingers.

You quickly change forms. In your experience a lot of things were overrated, including the Cockatrice own death stare. Still it was said it could stop things in it’s tracks as well, and that part you deeply knew was true.

Before the electric bolt could jump from her hand, you already reach the ceiling, your giblet bigger than her head and your chicken like beak actually looking somewhat intimidating. Your wings spread and the jolt stops mid-air as your eyes focus on her hands. Your surprised you were fast enough to pull this off.

She looks at you blankly and tries it again. Again your eyes stop it from moving more than a few inches off her hand. Your eyes turn to her proper and she seems to lock up.

Your leathery wings lose their feathers, hardening and splitting into soft, black fur. Your muscles both tighten and expand, as your bones in the shoulder, arms, and some ribs thicken along with them. You put your dukes in front of you, protecting your face in case she somehow got off another attack and of course to ready your attack.

Sure enough she tries to get off another one, but your eyes are still too good for that. Your wind up one of your giant sized gorilla fists, and throw a punch right into her jaw. She goes flying into and then out of the bullet proof, reinforced glass. She lies there, almost like she was in a puddle, surrounded by shattered glass, buzzing in and out of a corporal form.

You go back into your normal human form and look across the room. “Situation handled, I think I just knocked out Livewire.”

M’gann thinks back quick. “Great, I can use some help here. There’s some woman in a green tunic that hits like a bus here.”

“A bus, wait you know…,” you start. “Oh right, human television.”

You run to the normally magnetically sealed door out of and into the lab, tapping it dozens of times before it finally begins it’s unlocking process and lets you out.

What’s in front of you is a total and complete wasteland. Most of the walls were gone; desks and other office furniture had been shattered and littered across the ground. You were getting flashbacks to your fist fight with Blockbuster. Whoever helped do this had power, to put it mildly.

“Over by the left, second floor!” M’gann yells mentally. “She’s throwing a desk at me.”

You turn to your left and see a red haired, green tunic giant tossing an eighty pound desk as easily as a baseball at Miss Martian, who somehow flies out of the way, right in time. A shapely amazons who...mind out of the gutter don’t pull a Wally while Miss Martian is in here with you.

She turns to you and smile, her green eyes in no way glazed over like Livewire’s. You looks you over, up and down, whistling. “Man, first the green girl in the Japanese school girl outfit and now you. I’m really glad I took this job.”

“Miss Martian, go help Robin,” you say. “I’ll handle the green lady.”

The red haired lady laughs. “Call me Knockout, we already got a green lady flying in the air.”

Miss Martian starts to go, Knockout blowing a kiss at her as she leaves. “You sure you want to go one on one with me. You might not have much of a reputation Changeling, but I know your transformation into animals gimmick and you know nothing about me. Why don’t you step aside, let me get what Dr. Psycho wanted and get out. No one has ton get hurt.”

You walk up to her calmly, cracking your knuckles and neck calmly. “Ah, but it’s a good trick though. I think I could handle you.”

“Nice one kid,” Knock out says, patting you on the head. “But I’m strong enough to kill an elephant with a straight punch, what’s the most you can do? Turn into a dinosaur? My punches are still going to hurt big time. I’m in a different weight class.”

You quickly half turn. Not into a bull or a triceratops, but into something normally much smaller...though you decide you’ll mostly keep your human shape this time. It’ll make it quicker and easier. No, you’re going with something, that normally is much smaller but a gigantic pain in the ass for aquariums around the world.

You forearm hardens and bulges, your eyes follow suit, thankfully not turning into eye stalks. Knockout’s eyes go wide, but your body was already in position and your punch was already lined up. It connects with her jaw and pushes up, easily launching her into the air and then through all the ceilings you could see, and likely the roof of the skyscraper as well. You held a little back as not to launch into low orbit, or higher, as not to kill her, but you know Knockout was aptly named right now.

You shift back into a full human and sigh. You really wish Miss Martian was here to see that, at least a part of you. You dust off your hands, and think on what you should do next

You bolt towards the main entrance, shifting now to the form of a cheetah. You think you’re quicker than you should be, even in this form. Getting out here though, you don’t really see the hurry per say.

Deadshot was struggling against the two and wasting ammunition. Your form bulks up and combines the genetics of the scientific and mystical, an unholy, yet practical blend of the two. You go the same routes as you had previously this night, taking both the cockatrice and that of a shrimp, though a different shape than the rainbow mantis one you had previously. No, the pistol shrimp seemed more appropriate in this manner. But blending both it and something barely ‘real’ was going to be difficult.

You feel your body buckling from the pressure and strain of holding these two very different creature together. If you had tried doing this while keeping a human form, you doubt it would have been possible at all. It’s agony, but not a physical one. A mental one deep in whatever inside that allows you to do this.

You eye stalks open, easily perceptive the flow of bullets. You had the best eyes in the universe now after all, even Superman couldn’t compete with a shrimp. A Mantis Shrimp would be better however. With the cockatrice powers, the automatic fire of Deadshot wrist mounted rounds fell to the floor.

Most of them anyway. Ten or so kept going despite your best work and clear reaction to them. Too bad the carapace around your skin now was more than enough to block the bullets. Each one bounces off, though leaving a nice welt or indention on your shell.

Deadshot sneers, eyes glazed almost as over as Livewire’s “What the hell are you kid?”

You raise a claw and fire. Deadshot dodges out of the way, but his mask and most of armor have more in common with nacho cheese than body armour, each dripping on the floor. As he rolls, he bangs into a light post, that suddenly jiggles and falls down towards him. Deadshot tries to roll again, but two batarangs slam down on his feat, exploding and releasing foam all over his legs, reaching to his chest.

The pole collpases gently on him, locking him into place.

Robin and Miss Martian rush towards you, Miss Martian singing praises in your head. “That was so cool! You almost got them all by yourself!”

“That’s right, outside of Knockout, that was too easy.” Robin says, kneeling down, hand touching Deadshot’s now unconscious face. “You did good, but Livewire goes toe to toe with Superman. Deadshot never misses and wouldn’t go for killing shots on us in the first place. Dr. Psycho is a little too hands on.”

“Wait...”Miss Martian thinks thoughtfully, “the Quantum Juice!”

Robin turned around, screaming audibly. “The camera’s were hacked only AFTER the villians showed up and locally, we need to move!

“I’ll go the lab!” You yell, turning yet again into the spotted cheetah. “Find that damned hacker and Dr. Psycho!”

Robin and Miss Martian both split behind you, as you gallop to the lab, only to find the door open and all the guards slashed and gutted open. You barrow down it’s halls, only to come to a sudden stop when seeing a masked woman in black, practical clothing already in the sealed off room, wounded men on the floor beneath her.

She turns to you and waves briefly. No, you see her eyes, they are focused a little to the side and above you for that to be possible.

You duck as a green gloved fist narrowly misses your head. You shrink down to the size of rat, when she goes for you with a bare knee and scurry away, A door is thrown at you, but you make it through a crack in the wall and run through the walls.

A fist blindly smashes through them, like punching through a paper bottom and not concrete. You don’t bother to dodge, as the flurry of blows raining down on your wall are dozen of feet away. You have no where to be honestly.

Knockout spits. “Little bastard.”

The woman masked by a bandanna laughs. “You really have it out for the kid. Lay off, we got what my father wanted.”

“Oh hell no,” Knockout whines. “That kid knocked me through the entire building. A little harder and you would have had to carry me out of here, as much as I would like it, I don’t think it would be possible to do so and get away.”

“You...you would like it?” The masked woman says, blushing a little behind her cold bravado. “W-well it doesn’t matter now. Let’s split while the Light is still impressed with the three of you.”

This operation is bigger than we were expecting, more intel seems like a solid objective to go after.
Does Miss Martian still have a telepathic link up?

As much as I want to burst through the wall in the form of Macho Man Randy Savage, discretion is the better part of valor.

Be sure to let Robin and Meg know what we're doing. Hell, maybe have Meg tail us from the edge of her telepathic range and let them lead us to their hangout.

Knockout’s got long hair, it’s basically a lion’s mane. The thing about Lion’s though, is that they usually ignore the flies and mites in their fur. You change into an extremely type of mite and leap out towards her. There a thousand reasons this could go wrong. She knows you change into different animals and can in fact shrink into some of the smallest already. She’s got good eyes, so she could see you coming.

It doesn’t.

Your in her hair and blaring a message at Robin and Miss Martian mentally. “This is obviously bigger than we thought, I’m going to find out who’s behind this. Keep me in range Miss Martian!”

“She’s kinda busy right now, but sure.” Robin cries. “She’s locking in a mental battle with Dr. Psycho. It’s a stalemate right now, so I’m going to tip those scales and makes those fight doesn’t go rupted.”

The woman in the mask touches her head, coughs out a curse in what you think it’s Portuguese, and shakes her head before a clever and cruel look crosses her face.

“My link to Dr. Psycho just went dead, what happened Scandal?” Knockout asks, walking over and picking up two barrels over her shoulder.

Scandal’s smile spreads past her mask, “Dr. Psycho is having difficulty with his interview. Chances are, he won’t be getting his seat.”

“Good,” Knockout says, disgusted. “Dude was an A class creep. I think he used those powers of his too...well, you know.”

“Don’t get bashful,” Scandal says, walking in front of her calmly and then turning towards and up the stairs. “Rape. He was very good at it though, even better than Psimon, so he would have been useful, and he also had a vision unlike him. We’ll survive without him though. Chopper’s on what’s left of the roof.”

Knockout whistled. “Anarky pulled out all the stops.”

“He might just get the seat they left open for the good doctor,” Scandal says, “Now be careful. The Brain thinks that stuff there will be the key in unlocking the Meta-Gene.”

“What’s that?”

“Don’t know,” Scandal answers. “But my dad wants it, so he’s getting it.”

“Vandal scares the crap out of me, he’s even creepier than the Brain or the kid. I saw a lot of crap on Apokolips, but I never thought when I was sent here the guy I’d work for would be even scarier. Don’t want to even know what that Meta-Gene can be used for ” Knockout says, shaking. “I mean you are too...but in a cute way. Well...sexy honestly.”

“What are you saying?” Scandal says, blushing and now walking forward. “J-Just wait until we’re back at base.”

You stick where you are, in the mass of Knockout’s hair. The two of them get to the ceiling rather quick, managing to get there as soon as the police sirens finally start going off. Knockout looks down below while she boards their helicopter; Scandal just keeps gaze on Knockout. She seems to be looking her over bottom to top...did she suspect something?

Knockout pointed, “Heroes.”

“I figured as much, the kids?” Scandal asked

Knockout shook her head. “Yes and no. Two others are with them now...wait, I remember them from the files. Icon and Rocket.”

Sure enough two more heroes joined your friends. A man who looked like a body builder in his late thirties and a girl around your age, both African America. Not that really mattered. Each was flying towards the three of you, though you could see the looks on their face and that Miss Martian was telling them something mentally.

Scandal laughed, leaning over and grabbing control of a minigun. “Good. Hardware wouldn’t be trying to take us alive.”

The chooper’s machine tore apart the middle section of the Alva Technologies headquarters. You were wondering why she was targeting there, when a giant explosion rang out. The four of them pretended to be distracted entirely by it and stayed put for now.

While they did so, you told the names. Whoever the Light was, it’s leadership had both the Brain and Vandal Savage in it. Psimon, Knockout, Scandal, and Anarky worked for it...among many others you supposed. They were after the Quantum Juice because it might activate something called the Meta-Gene.

You stopped outside of Dakota City proper in ten minutes, in some sleepy forgotten suburb in the middle of no where. The two of them grab a moving van from some brand name moving company, and load the dual barrels in the back. Forty minutes later your in some other sleepy town. Some place named McDuffie Ridge, some supposedly abandoned warehouse.

Knockout unloaded the two drums of Juice, while Scandal walked inside unaccompanied. Knockout followed, whistling careless at first, then slowly, and then trialing off into nothingness as her eyes sat on the four other people in the room: Vandal Savage; Ra’s Al Ghul; Sportsmaster;...and Mr. Freeze.

Wasn’t he supposed to be in jail?

“The prodigal daughter returns,” Vandal Savage grunts or laughs. “Did you procure the Quantum Juice?

Scandal snorts, throwing a thumbnail drive at and turning to the side and letting Knockout pass. “Two rather large samples, as requested. Formula included.”

“Excellent, you’ve done well.” Vandal Savage says placing a hand on his daughter shoulder. “Things seemed to have gone poorly for Dr. Psycho, but I’m positive when the times comes, you’ll find yourselves a seat.”

“So where are these heading?” Scandal asks coldly, knocking off her father’s hand. “Bwunda or India?”
>>
>>2849098
“Straight to the point. Like your mother.” Vandal says, dismissing his daughter’s rebuff. “Bwunda. Now for your sake, it’s time to stop asking question.”

You continue to stay where you are, settling down and listening up now. Knockout scratched her head, and you sat still making sure not to move an itch and get flicked off. Ra’s turned and stared daggers, prompting Knockout to shake her head and put both her hands up in defeat. His eyes remained though.

Vandal walked over, grabbing one barrel lid and peeling it off. “Imagine it, the start of a new age. Humanity will be separated from the chafe, making room for a new race. The power of evolution, written in lightening across the cosmos. Copernicus and Galileo reduced back to frauds and liars; Earth crowned as the throne that the universe bows down to. And most importantly us as it’s kings.”

Sportsmaster sighs. “That’s nice, but Freeze has to be back in 24 hours, and I charge hourly. Save the masturbatory speeches for the shower or when you at least have tissues.”

“Fair enough, Lex would have been a little more delicate though” Vandal says, a large predatory grin. “This will go bad in 8 hours, can you preserve it Fries?”

“Of course and more,” Mr. Freeze says, coolly. “No offense to the Brain, but he has to much of a...visceral...connection to his work. I’m his equal in genetics and virology, and I have the benefit of being more detached, rational, unemotional, and...”
“Colder.” Savage finishes, “I get it, how much.”

“Just one, my wife.” Mr. Freeze says. “The Juice...properly refined, I know it could save her.”

“Deal,” Savage says, offering his hand. “I will need you to return to Belle Reve periodically.”

Freeze regrads the caveman’s hand for a second, before taking it. “Before this is over, my Nora and I will be standing before Light and all it’s glory.”

“It is most sincere wish you do, we will be glad to have yo...”

Ra’s walks over to Knockout, hand coming towards her hair. His finger pluck you up. “You need to practice better hygiene Knockout.”

“Hey watch it!” Knockout cries, grabbing his hand, causing you to fall to the floor. “I don’t like being handled old man without my consent. It was just a bug.”

Ra’s face races and stops right on top of her’s. “I sure hope so, because there is always the chance in a battle that was left unfinished against a metahuman with shapeshifting powers, that the mite is in face a self righteous child who has now overheard key components to our recent venture.”

All the eyes in the room turn on you. All approach making wide steps and raising feet into the air. The ceiling suddenly collapses and explodes; Icon, Rocket, Robin, Miss Martian, Red Tornado, Batman, and Black Canary bursting into the warehouse floor. You actually have to scurry because of them falling to the ground and whatever debries followed them.

“See, that’s why you don’t doubt Ra’s little girl,” Sportsmaster laughed, pulling out some ball and chain weapon.

Thanks for the run MT! I ended up missing the last half of the session but anons still put in work. I'm really glad we ended up going with this power set. It's fun coming up with different combinations and we can fill just about any role needed for missions as well.
>>
>>2849511
I just want to state this here, regrading powers. I didn't except Animal Man to be chosen...but that power set up here for obvious reasons that have now revealed themselves.

also the power level is higher than vanilla YJ, but way, way lower than the comics so with a creative use of the Red (which is legit powerful in the comics) you could defeat Superman or even Darkseid with creative use of your powers
>>
>>2849991
>inb4 we get into a staring contest with Darkseid while he fires off Omega Beams while in our Cockatrice form

Forever People when?
>>
>>2849991
My knowledge of the red definitely is on the low end of the spectrum but tapping into it allows you to change into any species associated with the planet you're on right?
>>
>>2850425
So we can beat Darkseid by turning into his favorite childhood pet and getting him to chill out?
>>
>>2850311
Pretty soon. Next thread will realign with YJ and I'm skipping all the T.M Morrow stuff, a few other things...Starfire will be introduced before them though. But you'll yes, if you hang with Superboy, you'll get a chance to see them

She'll be the next Original shit
>>
>>2850425
That would be a yes
>>
>>2850497
So would kryptonians now be associated with Earth? Could we turn into a new god on apokolips? Do angels and demons count as mythological?
>>
>>2850516
No, there is currently only one and a half Kryptonians on Earth. I'd assume with proper training you indeed would...though at that point and with your abilities if you stayed there you might automatically become on New Genesis or Apokolips.

No, demons and angels are aspects of Lucifer and God respectively. They have no will of their own or souls. At least the majority, a dozen or so do, but a dozen or so doesn't make a species, just 'mutants'
>>
>>2850571
But we could totally turn into Cerberus, right?
>>
>>2850571
I'll have to do some digging on different creatures and cryptids and such. By the by, why do we only turn into cheetahs for going fast instead of a dog sized cockroach?
>>
>>2850605
Because we're not villains.
>>
>>2850605
Because a dog-sized cockroach would look disgusting and optics can be just as important for heroes as actually do-gooding. Plus cheetahs are a million times cooler than cockroaches. What kind of male teenager would want to turn into a cockroach over a cheetah?
>>
Maybe a large grasshopper for ninja jumping around would be a good compromise?
>>
>>2850627
The kind that wants to move something like 5 times faster and with better maneuverability than a cheetah. Got me on the optics though.
>>
>>2850605
>>2850627
This is pretty much the actual reason. During fights you turn gross, you'll notice, but it's hard to pick up chicks or be big with kids by turning into fully gross monstrosities
>>
>>2850711
We should really work on retaining human form while using different abilities, will hopefully solve that issue, for the most part.
>>
>>2850717
Yeah, I have social life stuff planned for you during the Fall and post S1 YJ stuff that will not just be affected by what the League thinks of you, but the public as well

keep in mind when it comes to speed the only three people who should be able to outrun you with proper use of your powers are Barry, Bart, and whichever Bad Flash I use. According to proportion there are a few insects that can go twice the speed of sound while on the ground, while the Dovetail can move about THREE times that in the air by proportion.

Also question for the thread: I followed straight forward Crossover rules for the previous Titans game. I want to follow a similar theme, would you consider it okay and the spirit of the game to have The Gargoyles and Spider-Man crossover because all these shows share a creator?
>>
>>2850996
Gargoyles sure, but I'd say no on Spider-Man. Mixing marvel and DC will lead to headaches.
>>
>>2851007
Alrightie then, I had the feeling that would be the answer.
