You are Ushi Walker, the half-japanese/half-american wielder of the mighty quirk “Everything is Bigger in Texas", U.A High first year student, third place in the Sports Festival's Obstacle Race, one of the horses of Team Yaoyorozu in the Cavalry Battle and finalist of the Tournament after beating Pony.

It was a short fight, but not exactly easy. Pony was fast and strong, and left you bruised and somewhat bloodied with just two blows before you could catch her and throw her against the ring, leaving her unable to carry on and trying to hide the fact that you could barely move yourself for a fraction of a second.

Just for that instant though, as you quickly let that facade slip away and lended your friend a helping hand. Pony hesitated at first, but eventually reached back, accepting your help and limping along with you back to Recovery Girl's office, leaving her on one of the beds for the school nurse to examine.

As Recovery Girl helps Pony take off her jacket, you sigh and let yourself fall on the free bed, sitting on the edge.

>"Now, your friend didn't thrash you up too badly, but you should take care and rest." The nurse recommends. "Full treatment should leave you exhausted anyway, so you should sleep for at least an hour."

>"<Nuh>" Pony replies, shaking her head and raising a shaky hand, counting with her fingers as she talks. "I wanna watch. Just most? Or <Icy Hot>? Please?"

>"You better have someone to drop you home deary, because you are going to end up passing out on the train at this point." The heroine comments, sighing and shrugging. "Well, it's your choice. But you'll be sore on the morning!... And the rest of the week."

You wouldn't argue with that. You are already sore all over, so can only imagine how you'll be tomorrow. If the way your finger feels is any clue, you'll probably have to take notes with your mouth!

It's somewhat relieving however how Pony doesn't seem to need any bandages, as Recovery Girl only pokes her growing bruises for a minute or two before giving her a quick kiss on the shoulder, making most of the bruises disappear and fading the rest into small spots. The sudden fatigue seems to hit your friend like sledgehammer, making her visibly struggle to stifle a yawn and keep her half lidded eyes from fully closing.

>"Now try to rest." The heroine recommends as Pony fails to contain her yawn, siccing the sandman on you.

>"<Ah fweel bwetter alwe… Howld om...>" Your fellow american says, pinching her arm and wincing. "Hit me if I do that again ever."

The nurse then turns to look at you.
>"How about you deary?" She asks. "Are you going to stay and rest, or going out?"

"Can you patch me up, doc? I'm feeling a bit..." You answer, having trouble digging through your skull to find a word that describes how beaten and ground your body feels. "...Tartare."

Recovery Girl stares at you for a second without reacting, unlike Pony, who tries to stifle her laughter.

"Sorry. Kinda feeling like, huh… Ah got... jam between my ears?" You try to explain, flapping your arms around to help get your point across. "Like, the most you can. Ah need to hit a guy alter, and none look good for me, you know?"

>"...Very well." The school nurse replies. "You know you won't being be able to watch the next match, right?"

"Yeah, Ah guess Ah'll find out whose seat Ah've to kick on the ri-" You tell her, blinking out of synch and yawning, taking off your jacket to let her check on your bruises, making sure nothing is actually broken.

>"<I'll, like, keep you posted.>" Pony says from her bed, giving you a thumbs up before letting her arm fall down again. "<I always deliver!>"

You return the thumbs up as Recovery Girl continues her examination.

“<You should come over this weekend Pony. Celebrate togeth->" You tell Pony before Recovery Girl kisses your wrist. Unlike the previous treatments, this time the fatigue doesn't quite hit you.

Considering you barely feel you ear touching the pillow before you black out, it's more like it cut your strings, as if you were a puppet.

Then you wake up to the sound of yelling.

>"I APOLOGIZE FOR THE COMMOTION, BUT I HEAR NAUGHT BUT THE CHITTERING OF THE VOID." You hear Fumikage say, uncharacteristically loudly.

>"Hey keep it down!" Pony shouts back. "You'll wake Ushi up!"

>"WHAT!?" Fumikage replies, even louder than before.

"Kin… Kinda-" You say, cutting yourself off by yawning. "Yeah… Too late."

Sitting up, you can see Fumikage leaning against the infirmary's door frame.
He looks pretty banged up, with dark patches on his uniform, soot and concrete dust all over him and the smell of singed feathers wafting from his direction as he rubs the sides of his head with his hands.

>"Tsunotori dear, he was on ground zero of some loud explosions, he can't help it." Recovery Girl tells Pony, hopping off her chair and looking at her. "You on the other hand, are willingly shouting."

>"S-sorry!" Pony replies, shaking her hands in front of herself before looking at you. "<Aw Shoot!>"

You bring your hands to your face and rub the sleep off your eyes, watching as Recovery Girl walk towards Fumikage, motioning with her hands for him to keep his volume low, getting him to nod silently.

"<Uh? What did Ah… What did I miss?>" You ask, stretching your back and grunting to hide your slip-up and shake the fogginess off. "<Semifinal's over already?... How?>

You aren't dumb. Even if your head still feels like you just tried headbutting a running fan, you only need to see that Fumikage is at the infirmary and Daisy is not to know who won, even if you don't know how.

>"<Right!>" Pony says, grabbing her chin. "<Well, Bakugo did this thing, and like, lit up the ring, you know? Lots of flashes! It even messed up the white balance of the footage for a bit.>"

"<What?>" You ask her, getting only one really useful bit of info out of her last few lines.
>>
It doesn't take a genius to notice that Dark Shadow has a rather glaring weakness in light, something you took advantage of back on the Battle Trials, weakening Fumikage's quirk with a flashlight.

If Bakugo opened like that, Fumikage would have been unable to rely on Dark Shadow for long, and would have been an easy victory for the blond.

>"<You know, that color corre- Right. Only Kaibara cares about that.>" Pony explains before noticing how lost you are. <"Uhm… Bakugo blew Tokoyami's quirk away and then pointed his smoking hand at him, all angry like and yelled until he gave up. Then he released his quirk upwards and... Killed a cloud, I guess. It was a strong boom, like, stronger than the others, and he didn't care.">

"...Lovely." You reply in japanese, standing up and looking back at Recovery Girl as she examines Fumikage who's sitting on the same stool Uraraka did last time. "Thanks for getting me up to speed."

...She's using an otoscope, but you can't for the life of you see what is she looking at.

>"<Don't mention it.>" Pony replies, looking down at her sheets with tired eyes. "<Just… Think we can talk later?>"

>What do you do?

You took the first steps to mend your friendship with Pony back on the ring, but you know it's still on thin ice.

"<If I'm still in one piece, sure!>" You tell her, giving her a thumbs up but keeping enough presence of mind to know there's a chance you'll get out of the stage on a stretcher.

>"Go bring home the gold." Pony says, shimming under the cover of her bed and getting cozy. "I'mma sleep to the night."

>"Tsunotori, dearie, keep in mind that you'll have to face Tokoyami for the third place." Recovery Girl comments, handing Fumikage a wet wipe for his beak. "If you want to forfeit, you should say so now."

>"What?! Nuh-uh!" Pony says, wrapping herself in the blanket. "Wake me up then. I'll… I'll fight a last match."

Seeing only her face, you can easily see the lines around her large eyes, showing just how tired she was.

>"One last chance to clear our names and rise above our peers." Fumikage ads, cleaning his beak with the wipe. "But only one will achieve it..."

Sharing a last, somewhat confused glance with Pony, you shrug and wave, power walking towards the door, only to give stop and give Recovery Girl a quick bow before actually leaving.

Unlike the time when you had to run to the gate to not miss your cue, you try to get there earlier, skipping the waiting room and getting to your gate with a few minutes to spare.

Whether that's a good thing or not you no longer know, as you find Bakugo pacing there, stomping from one side to the other.

>"Fucking useless." He says, pacing around your gate. "One of them might think he stood a chance."

You briefly wonder if you can just skedaddle and make it to the opposite gate, hoping the guy managing the screen could fix it on the fly when you showed up from Bakugo's gate.

But the moment your foot comes down, he turns to look at you, scowling.

>"What are you doing here?" He asks, looking you up and down.

"Uhm… This is my gate." You point out, pointing a hand to the large sign with the number 2 above both of you and a thumb to the digital sign on the wall, showing that his was number 1, at the other side of the stadium.

>"...One thing still works out of this fiasco though." He says, walking back the way you came in and looking over his shoulder to let you see a grin that makes you wish he was still scowling. "When you eat shit on live T.V. the class will stop thinking so high of you. You belong under me, I'll make sure you get it."

Doubt may be gripping your heart, not knowing how true are your friends. But you aren't going to go and show weakness to your foes.

Especially if it's Bakugo.

Instead, you loudly punch your palm, getting him to look back again, just in time to see you cupping your fist in your hand and pushing, showing off the results of your training as your biceps contract and bulge.

You know it won't come down to an actual fist fight, and that if it did, his fighting style would be better suited for trading blows...

"Pal, I'll sure enjoy kicking your ass all the way to Dallas." You tell him, locking eyes with him.

If it comes down to a melee, you could get his ass in a submission hold in no time, and you make sure he knows it.

>"Good. Give it your all." He says, with what looks like an actual smile for a moment. "You'll see it's not enough, they all will."

And with that, he leaves, hopefully reading the signs on his way this time.

"IT'S BEEN A LONG ROAD, BUT HERE WE ARE!!! TIME TO FIND OUT WHO'S THE BEST OF THE BEST AMONG OUR FIRST YEARS!!! Present Mic announces, pumping up the crowd. "THE FINAL MATCH… WALKER VERSUS BAKUGO!!!"

Hearing your cue, you take your position on your side of the ring, stretching again to make sure you know your body's current limits. You are still mighty beaten up, but after resting your guts don't feel like they are trying to get out anymore, so that's an improvement.

Bakugo looks fairly beaten up himself, but he's doing a great job at hiding it. If you hadn't seen him fight Deku and Kirishima, you would only think he looks a bit dirty.

>"START!!!" Present Mic shouts enthusiastically, officially starting your last match of the day.

You instinctively lower your stance and tense your hands, ready for everything.

...Which is all you have to go on, as you can only read two things from Bakugo.

One. He looks a bit too happy.
Two. His hands are already smoking.

Oh, and remember that doing more than one thing, including changing sizes, is -1d10 and one more pair you'll need per additional action.
>>
>Grab Bakugo by enlarging your arm similar to austin tossin (use the oposite arm to what you used on momo to minimise joint strain) but do not throw him. Instead, shrink him along with the arm. Add any/all RD that can be added to this roll.

As I said in earlier threads, this is our best shot at winning. We don't have the health left to go with a longer fight, we win this turn one or loose.

Diving elbow drop the puny man
>>
>>2971182
He'll be really smart about avoiding our hands, I'd say play it defensive and have him come to us first. Maybe take a step back, ready to shrink if necessary. There's better chances playing things re-actively to his actions than going in for the kill, which gives him 10 different ways to adjust and avoid accordingly.... Then again he can certainly bait out moves from us too. Shit Bakugo is gonna be a tough fight
>>
>>2971187
If he comes at us, it's going to be from behind a ball of fire and pain. We have to go in and take him out now. We don't have the health to tank any blows.
>>
>>2971161
>[Keep a hand on your thigh and be ready to shrink out of the way! (Dodge+Quirk)]

Way I figure it we wait for Bakugo to come close. He often goes for aerial maneuvering or gets in close to rapid fire explosions kinda like jabs from what I've seen in the show. Let him commit to a movement in the air where it will be difficult to switch direction quickly or let him move in close where he won't have a ton of room to react and then strike at him with our good arm while enlarging it.

Massive fist smashing into him should do something, and it's better to do that when he's closer or in the air rather than while we are standing at a distance because the closer he is the less time he has to react and maneuvering in the mid air is difficult.

Either way waiting for him to be closer or air born makes it more likely we hit him, and a big enough fist should have enough force behind it to give him a good smack, maybe propel him towards an edge if we are lucky.

>[RIGHT]
>>
>>2971208
Except it's know that he is superb at arial maneuvers. As long as his arms are free, he can change direction on a dime. We're never going to get him in a position where he can't maneuver/
>>
>>2971186
>>2971161
Backing the growth then
>>
>>2971187

This will be the first time we try a move like this, he won't predict it and will have a harder time dodging it, We don't have the health to go defensive against bakugo and shrink dodging is terrible against bakugo as his attacks are AOE.

>>2971203

Again, shrink dodging is a terrible idea against enemies with AOE.
>>
>>2971215
>>2971186

We only have 10 health you idiots, we don't have the health to only enlarge in turn one. If you are going to enlarge to 52 feet also attack in the same turn like >>2971210 and make sure to mention adding RD in your vote.
>>
>>2971232
a diving elbow is an attack. It'a wrestling move for the +1
>>
>>2971214

That is a valid point, but changing his direction like that realistically would require a lot of force and quick changes in direction would generate whiplash potentially. That can't be easy on his body, and he has to be tired.

I'm not saying you aren't right and I acknowledge we may miss, but going for a strike right now right off the bat just feels like we are sure to get dodged since he has all this room to react and nothing to make it difficult for him, and growing just makes us a target.

I feel like we can't afford to make a massive roll of the dice all in opening strike. I get we can't fight long, but we gotta try and pick our moment better than that.

>>
>>2971161
>[Hold your arms up and prepare to Block! (Block)]
>[Grow to 52 Feet.]
>[RIGHT]

My reasoning is thus: We need to get big because if we're normal sized or small he'll just throw us from the arena with concussive force. He's going to attack us immediately, and doing multiple things is hard, so Block because we're good at blocking.
>>
>>2971210
Supporting this but with RD. The embiggen lunge into shrink touch is a solid combo. In this instance, it suits our tactical goals of seizing initiative and getting us too big/heavy to just blow away.
>>
>>2971353

If Bakugo wasn't so Bakugo he could try to use his explosions to trip Ushi at full size to get a ring out, but he's not going to be satisfied by a ring out so he wont do that. For example he didn't try using shockwaves to blow kirishima out of the arena even if a ring out would be much easier than a knock out so he wont try it here.

With the amount of health we have bakugo is going to be able to oneshot us even with extra DR from going to 52 feet. Even if he doesn't quite oneshot us we will likely loose our hands dice making it hard to attack him. The only the only viable plans here are win or die plans.

>>2971440

Unless we can use wrestling dice to block I think we're actually better at dodging and much better at wrestling attacks. Also, add using RD to your vote.
>>
>>2971460
Fair, but I don't think Dodging works that well while big?

>>
>>2971713
Don't assume the OP will just do it for you, he has already stated on the past thread it was the last time he would let it slide, don't push your luck because he would be in the right to not letting us use RDs because people didn't put them in.
>>
>>2971713

You have to state it, you dumbass.
>>
>>2971740

Pretty sure he was referencing trying to use RD after the fact. Whenever people have brought up wanting to use RD BEFORE he calls for dice rolls, he's always done a vote for it. There's no need to be a dick about it.
>>
>>2971754
Instead of posting that the OP will just do what you feel like because he conviniently did it in the past, you could have reposted your vote with the usage of RDs and eliminated the chance that he won't.

You are so in the wrong it's crossed into weird territory.

Maybe you are right, but with a fight like this it isn't worth leaving it to chance. Put it in just in case.
>>

>What I feel like
It's not what I feel like, it's an established trend.
>Conveniently did it in the past
Yes, that's called precedence. Like I said before, whenever someone has brought up RD in the past during the voting period, the QM has always had an offshoot vote for exactly which RD to use. It's not convenient, it's just how he does it as established by the consistent trend.
>You are so in the wrong it's crossed into weird territory.
I'm not wrong according to established trends. The only thing that mic had a problem with was calling for RD to be used after rolls have been made.

I understand you lads are hella paranoid about it, but chill the fuck out. This is the last post about this shit I'll be responding to.

He wants you to go all out?

...Fine!

You made it this far already, the whole country has its eyes on you through the cameras, and you can easily see your momma and friends cheering...

You may not be sure about what they actually think of you, but just seeing Shoto leaning forwards and holding the back of the seat in front of him was enough to feel supported.

Then there's Mina, who seems to be shouting at the ring and shaking her fist, and Denki, Kirishima and Jiro, waving in your direction. The only one who seems to be missing is Iida.

Everyone else is at the edge of their seats, and even though it may be a bit presumptuous of you to think it's all about you, you can't help but feel like it is.

Here on the ring you got the eyes of the world upon you, feeling like one of the most important people on the planet, and can spread your message… After you manage to word it.

You are almost sure that's how being a role model will feel like, and you aren't going to let that feeling go so easily.

You are feeling better, but you know that it wouldn't take that much to make you taste your snacks again, so you can't afford to drag the match out.

Instead, you take the initiative and charge at Bakugo, keeping your body low.

You can easily see him analyzing your movement, but it doesn't matter, as you only run a couple feet before grabbing your thigh and enlarging yourself as fast as you can.

Starting with the leg you had on the ground, has always been a great way to launch yourself at high speed, but you don't think you ever went this fast, as every nerve from your fingertips to your spine and all along your arm feels like it caught fire for an instant as you force the multiple dozen feets of growth to happen in a fraction of a second.

It hurt briefly, but it felt more like punching and breaking a plank just the right width for you, like pushing a limit.

In an instant, Bakugo's hands detonate, quickly taking him off the ground and quickly accelerating forwards.

But not nearly quick enough, as one of the first things you feel is his tiny body get hit by your shoulder and be propelled off the ring.

The next thing you feel is the pull on your chest from part of your now zipperless jacket and ruined sports bra.

It's still working, but the fabric feels thinner and bound to snap soon and the flag is no more, as hitting Bakugo with a spear pretty much required for your chest to drag along the concrete ring on the final feet. At least it helped to brake at the edge of the ring.
>>
>"THAT'S ONE WAY TO START A FIGHT!!!" Present Mic shouts. "DO WE HAVE OUR WIN-!!!?"

Then a powerful warm gust of wind messes up your hair, as Bakugo seems to have managed to hit the wall of the stadium with an explosion before hitting it himself and flying up instead of into a new gate shaped like him.

It's… Twitchy though.

Trying to predict Bakugo's trajectory has never been easy, but his flight feels more erratic than purposefully misleading, as if he had trouble balancing the outputs of his hands...

But after hitting him with what had to be enough force to crumple a truck, the mere fact he's not laying face down on a crater is somewhat impressive. Even if every inch of his body was going to be bruised in some minutes, he still managed to take flight by force of his anger alone.

>What do you do?

>[Stay prone.]
>[Sit.]

>>

>>
>>2974173

And if Deku had tried to kill himself? What then? People play it off and say 'oh he didn't mean it' and 'oh it's not that bad' and that is absolute horse shit.

I admit I have a stronger opinion on it than most. A good friend of mine attempted to kill himself in highschool because of fuckers like that. As far as I'm concerned those assholes were horrible human beings, and though my friend wasn't successful in his attempt the fact remains they drove him to try and kill himself and as far as I'm concerned that's fucking evil.

Bakugo is evil. A good human being does not torment another person. A good human being does not even joke about fucking suicide, and that wasn't no fucking joke. You can't say that sort of shit and then claim afterwards "oh I didn't mean it." No, that shit you can't take back. Suicide is a serious issue. Abuse is a serious issue. Just ignoring it or justifying it is unacceptable, and the fact that society does is appaling.

Say whatever the hell you want about me, I know where I stand. It is wrong to try and incite suicide, and Bakugo did. That was someone's life he was toying with, and that's not right. Little shit is evil, and I've seen nothing from him to indicate otherwise.

Look on the one hand I get that. I did stupid shit as a teenager as well, but I never tried to get anyone to kill themselves. I feel like even as hormonal teenagers there are lines that really shouldn't be crossed, lines that should be common fucking sense, and that's one of them.

We can say they are kids and they don't get it or they don't really mean it, but being a teenager doesn't mean your brain doesn't work. They knew what they were doing. They're smart enough, old enough, and know enough about society to understand that what they did is wrong, and they chose to do it anyway.

Like a little kid hitting another kid, or stealing something, I can get that. If they're young enough they really don't know any better. Teenagers are old enough they should know better. Yes, they are still developing. Yes, they are still learning. Yes, they are little hormone bombs who haven't fully developed yet and do stupid shit. We were all teenager once, i'm sure we all have things we did we regret, but that really doesn't excuse that level of behavior.

I can get fighting and pissing contests over dominance, hell I got in fights when I was in high school. I can't get riding a guy whose done nothing to you and just wants to be left alone for years. Getting on his case and telling him he's worthless and it'd be better if he was gone. I can't get that. I can't get how even a hormonal teenager can justify that as anything but wrong. I don't get how anyone can claim they didn't understand what they were doing, what the result might be.

If you make someone feel like shit and tell them to kill themselves how can you be surprised when they do? How can anyone possibly justify that?

I'm sorry, but I can't just write it off as "teenagers are fuckheads." The vast majority of teenagers come nowhere near that level. You have to be a shitty human being to do that sort of thing, even as a teenager.

Anyway, "autistic" rant over. I won't hold up the thread any further. Lets just get back to enjoying the quest. And if I enjoy the thought of Bakugo in a lot of pain, I'll just keep it to myself.

That's not entirely true. But I do agree that it's not right to do this

Y'know what else isn't right? Brutalizing a dude because he said mean words. You seem way too hot under the collar about a thing we as a character don't even know about. I also don't think that this is exactly the most respectful time to bring up your supposed friend's supposed suicide attempt (because you're on an anonymous image board, and people lie to try to win arguments).

>>2974252
It makes about as much sense in context as it does out of context.
>>
>>2974256

If my greatest crime is bringing up meta knowledge our character could't have then I think all things considered it really isn't that bad.

And yes I get hot under the collar when I see people get dismissive of this sort of thing. It's not something that can just be written off, and it rubs me the wrong way when it is.

Personally I think it is worse to just hush things up and not talk about them rather than be frank about what's happened. I don't believe it's disrespectful to talk about these sort of things. We have all sorts of things it's taboo to talk about in our culture that perpetuate because people won't face them and address the issues. If we were a little less concerned with what's socially acceptable to discuss and more concerned with helping people, it could go a long way.
>>
>>2974256

Also, teenager's brains work just fine. They don't work the same way as yours or mine, but they aren't fucking stupid. They have functioning brains that should be able to comprehend basic morality and consequences.

I could understand that when I was a teenager. If I could I don't see why anyone else couldn't.

Guys, we can’t deal any more damage to Bakugo right now. He started at 12 health and we just did 21 damage, we need to disable him. Caging him would work but would use less dice than a quirk roll. Don’t worry about accidentally damaging him as with the way this system works you don’t kill people unless you are intentionally trying to. Indecent exposure shouldn’t be a problem either, pretty sure Mirio wins the 3rd year tournament.
We need to sit in order to grab him, standing would make us vulnerable to attempts to trip us though so not that.

We're on 4chan, do you think anyone cares about socially acceptable? I'm not asking you to stop talking about your friend's suicide attempt because it's "socially acceptable" I'm telling you that unless you want to provide proof, it's just words and nobody needs to hear about your backstory. I think it's absolutely despicable to utilize the suffering of your friend in an attempt to gain sympathy on your view, which is why I called it disrespectful, not because of some unspoken taboo.

Also, dismissing it and saying it's not pure evil are two different things. Nobody dismissed the fact that Bakugo told Deku to kill himself, they just said that's not exactly evil so much as just being an asshole. The distinction is vague to nonexistent, but nobody said that was a heroic thing to do.

>>2974272
At that age, human brains are still developing, so yes. Their brains aren't entirely functioning in the same way as an adult's, that's basic science, I never implied teenagers are stupid or not cognizant of their actions.

As has been said several times over the past 2 threads, shrink dodging is a terrible idea against Bakugo because Bakugo’s attacks are AoE. We might dodge a direct hit but get hit by the shockwave and since shrinking makes you more vulnerable to attacks that’s not gonna end well.

That's at the end silly.

We can't risk our clothes ripping apart in the middle of the fight if we move to much. Last time Ushi's Ushi managed to break a sport bra with their weigth!

Are you all absolutely sure about this? You might only be rolling a 2d10 before RD since we only have 2 hands and this doesn’t fall under wrestling. Shrinking him would be a 5d10.
>>
>>2974468
Although i think that would count at two actions. Grab him and then shrink him and moving around with our damaged clothing might not be that smart.
>>
>>2974481

Moving plus grab and shrink was one action without a -1 previously, but even if it counts as two actions here we would be rolling a 4d10, twice as good as clapping still.

>>

I'm calling it. If we win we get an internship with Best Jeanist to improve our Face and are surprised to see bakugo there.

Even if he is flying at you, you know he's hurt and shaky.

Which suits you well, since there wasn't much you could do to stop him if he was still able to do sharp turns on a dime.

His tenacity is admirable, but also somewhat worrying.

He's mad and could still be a real threat, especially if you were to shrink down, but there's not much you can do to stop him safely after your first hit without risking going further than any sports festival should go.

Well, you thought it was somewhat admirable, and there's only one thing to do about impressive feats at sports events.

Thus, you quickly slam your elbows into the concrete and shift your position a bit so that you are no longer resting on your chest, but without fully lifting it off the ring. You felt the threads start snapping just from, and the male gasps even you managed to hear give you a quick confirmation that it's not something insignificant, but you still keep your focus on the action.

Before he reaches you, you clap hard.

And at your current size, hard means hard. Even you feel somewhat bothered by the noise of yourclap, and you aren't even being affected by the dust cloud raising around the ring thanks to the gust of wind you are unleashing.

But at that size, even moving your hands makes you feel the air resistance, plus the somehow slower way your muscles feel makes it so you can only clap once before Bakugo reaches you, forcing him to correct but not stopping him from getting right next to your right arm and firing a large explosion.

Maybe the first one you ever saw him unleash.
Every blast before this had been a directed rocket blast, focused in a particular direction.

This one was a wild explosion, engulfing your arm in flames for an instant, making you wince in pain, feeling like you just reached into the cotton candy machine again, and untying one of your shoes with the sheer force of the shockwave.

Had you been lighter or standing, there's a good chance you would have been knocked back, or even blown off your feet.

Still, you look over your shoulder and time your hands to his landing then clap again. And even though you think it sounds more like a magnified golf clap than an earnest one, the effect is undeniable, as you can see the dust carrying gust slam into Bakugo as he attempts to land, pushing him off balance at the perfect time and bowling him over, forcing him to catch himself with his hands to avoid doing it with his face.

You hope it wasn't a burn, but you can't deny the jolt of pain that went through your arm when your hands collided, nor how raw your skin feels there.

>"NEVERMIND, THE MATCH IS STILL ON!!!" Present Mic continues his commentary. "IT SEEMS THERE'S STILL SOME FIGHTING TO DO IN BAKUGO'S AGENDA, ATTACKING WALKER LIKE THAT!!!"

>"This match won't last for much longer." Mr. Aizawa adds, trailing off at the end. "Not even willpower can keep a battered body going for long, and I doubt... "

>"UH?!!! HEY <FRIEND> WHAT WERE YOU SAYIN'?!!!" Your english teacher asks him.

>"...There might be infrastructural issues." Your homeroom teacher replies after a pause, sounding completely flat.

But Present Mic is definitely right, as Bakugo wastes no time rolling back to his feet and facing you. Or your back, rather.

The sole of your right foot, to be accurate.

He doesn't seem to notice his own exhaustion, as his face looks ready to continue, but his tiny, battered body and posture make him look in your eyes like a puppet with the wrong set of strings, or a tiny, overaggressive puppy.

Knowing he has pretty much already lost, the otherwise scary raging grimace on his face looks almost cute, really. Probably because you could squeeze him a bit in one hand and erase the expression from his face with your thumb.

It wouldn't even be hard...

>"THE FUCK ARE YOU SMILING ABOUT NOW!?" The blond screams, widening his stance and making his hands smoke as he charges towards you. "ARE YOU SO FUCKING SURE YOU'VE WON!?"

There doesn't seem to be a grand plan in motion. As far as you can tell, he's just charging at your back, packing considerable firepower and no intention to do anything other than blowing you up to kingdom come.

And it won't matter if he ends up destroying our clothing, then we've lost face in front of every pro watching us. He's losing 1d to his roll every turn, our chances of succeeding that roll are low as opposed to us just covering up before doing anything risky.

If Mirio can get away with being naked in his fights then Ushi can get away with a nip slip. He's still capable of dealing 2 damage to us a turn, in a turn or two we could be rolling to stay up as well. Stop underestimating him.

Eh this is mostly to show what we can do and get propositions from other pro-heroes. Shoto didn't win in canon and he got a lot of intership request after it.
>>
>>2981451

No, it's not even guaranteed we will end up flashing out tits by grabbing him and shrinking him, it didn't happen after we clapped after all. We can tie the shirt up AFTER shrinking bakugo and winning this.

>>2981453

Getting a good reputation with pro-heroes is very important for Ushi's career long term. If we show heroes that we care more about vanity than winning the fight that's not going to look good to pro-heroes. Probably worse than a nip slip.

While we might still get a lot of internship requests for being second, we'll get more for being in first and I see no good reason to settle for less when we can easily win this right now.

This is pretty much my view, but I didn't want to state it and cause another shitstorm. Ushi wouldn't be as worried about Bakugo or the DQ in this low-stakes tournament so much as she'd be worried about her chest being shown to literally everyone she knows.

And I'd like to back up that this is incredibly low stakes, we're competing for bragging rights at this point.

I exaggerated a bit due to my anger, but I really hate how some people are completely discounting that Ushi may actually have irrational worries even at inopportune times. It's almost as if she's an insecure girl with self-esteem/body image issues that have been showcased numerous times throughout the quest. Ushi is a Southern Christian gal that's pretty pure despite being willing to use her body as a crutch when socializing (which has caused its own issues).
Ushi is a teenaged girl in a low-stakes sports festival being aired on national tv. Given everything I laid out in the previous paragraph, is it really so difficult to believe that she might wish to maintain her modesty at the cost of ignoring Bakugo?

Moving fast at your size is relatively hard, but not impossible, as you quickly shift your body and sit, swinging your legs to turn around and trying to ignore the sound of fabric tearing under your chin, focusing instead on the tiny rage fueled firecracker.

>"YOU ARE AMERICAN, AREN'T YOU!?" Bakugo yells as he runs at you, his open hands constantly smoking and going off. "DO YOU KNOW HOW SHELLS WORK!?"

He's yelling louder than you've ever heard him, probably screaming his throat raw as he runs in what you can only generously describe as a wave line, seemingly using the small blasts from his hands not to accelerate, but to keep a semblance of balance as he runs.

To say he looks like he's running on steam would be an understatement, as some things did run on steam at some point. He looks more like a candle powered plane, something that just shouldn't move.

But still he runs, charging in your general direction and gaining more speed, even though he keeps stumbling.

Watching him burn himself out almost makes you forget what was that he yelled at you.

Suddenly, you aren't as worried about him as you are about yourself, lounging forwards and shooting out your left hand as fast as you can, trying to grab him before he can do what you think he's going to try.

He may be small enough to fit in one of your shoes, but when it comes to projectiles, mass has always taken a the backseat to velocity, and he looks too eager to gain more of that.

You move fast, faster than you had ever moved at this size, but it's not enough. There's less than half a second between your hand reaching him and the moment he started spinning, lifting himself off the ring and accelerating dramatically before ramming into your hand, forcing your already hurt arm to buckle and hit your guts, knocking the wind out of you before you could shrink him.

You are sure he yelled something, but you didn't pay attention.

Instead, you brace yourself and focus on shrinking him.

Your Pa's an engineer. You know better than anyone that "shell" implies a payload, and those are usually measured by mass.

>"<FRIEND>, YOU CLASS DOESN'T KNOW WHAT A BRAKE IS!!!" Present Mic comments.

And it seems to be the right call, as you can feel your fingers being almost forced to open, as the now 2 feet tall Bakugo's explosion is still strong enough to sent a powerful gust of hot air between your fingers, blowing back your jacket.

You are almost sure the palm of your hand just got burned, as it hurts almost as much as your right arm, but you don't focus on that.

Instead, you focus on the tiny boy on your hand, almost immobile. You can still feel his tiny chest moving, but he's clearly all burnt out.

That was all he had left… And it could have easily knocked you out if you hadn't focused on stopping him.

You can't help but giggle a bit as you try to catch your breath, raising Bakugo's unconscious form a bit so everyone knows, getting Midnight to approach you.

It's over. Hearing the cheering of the crowd, you can breathe in peace.

...And then your heaving chest prompts you to hear a the all too familiar sound of fabric tearing, as what little threads kept your chest contained are no longer strong enough and finally give up completely, letting you feel how your bust dropped... a few feet, probably.

You can only cover yourself and gasp mortified, hoping you aren't exposing yourself to the whole country, if not the planet.

>"CEMENTOSS!!!" Shouts… Mr. Aizawa?

And just like that a concrete dome forms around you, hiding everything below your neck from view and causing some disappointed sounding comments from the crowd, followed by angry replies.

>"Bakugo, can you move?" Midnight asks your foe, prompting you to hesitantly lower him, trying to hold your breasts with one arm. "Uh. He's out cold."

>"Bakugo can't continue, so Walker is the winner!" Midnight announces through the speaker system, bringing her hand to her earpiece and smiling at you.

>"AND WITH THAT ENDS OUR QUEST FOR THE BEST!!! THE WINNER OF U.A.'S SPORTS FESTIVAL IS NONE OTHER THAN WALKER USHI OF CLASS A!!!" Present Mic concludes. "BUT STAY GLUED TO YOUR SEATS, DEAR LISTENERS, FOR NOW IS TIME FOR THE MATCH FOR THE THIRD PLACE, FOLLOWED BY THE AWARDS CEREMONY!!!"

The cheering then turns almost deafening, prompting you to give a nervous smile before shrinking down and readjusting your jacket, tying the charred ends together.

You then turn to look at Midnight, who observes you with a hand on her cheek.

Then you grumble some curses under your breath and tighten your impropentu top even more. Too damn bouncy.
>"You know, since the robots have to come pick up Bakugo anyway, you should ask them for a new P.E. Kit." The 18+ Heroine tells you before asking you. "So, how does it feel?"

You look down and ponder that for a few seconds, then her giggling makes you lose focus.

"Uh?" You eloquently ask.

>"Dolls and boys and toys all have some things in common." She tells you, the points at your left hand, which you now notice still holds a now even tinier Bakugo. "But you shouldn't treat any like another, it never ends well. That said, you better hold on to him till the bots arrive."

You then look down again. Mostly to hide your blush from the heroine, but also to come up with an answer.

Eh, we probably could have taken him down in turn 2 if we had gone for shrinking him then, but in the end we still won so it doesn’t really matter as long as we learn from this.

How do you feel?...

It's hard to put to words.

You just won the most important sports event in Japan, with practically every hero in the country seeing you display your wits and brawn, testing your mettle time and time again and managing to come up on top, hopefully diminishing, if not outright dispelling any doubts about your ability to become a hero.

But every soul in the country if not world got to see you burst your bra, and you don't really know if you were fast enough to avoid displaying anything you rather keep private, your whole body still feels like you got put in the dryer and then through the wringer, which only gets worse as your adrenaline starts fading.

"Ah- I guess I feel like-" You say, stumbling to keep your accent to a minimum and bringing a hand to your face, then wincing when your burnt arm's skin tenses. "Ow!"

Looking at your reddened hand and arm, it's hard to not think about how much better you could have done.

>"Take your time, we have a minute or two before the robots arrive, and Cementoss won't take down the dome before that." Midnight tells you, knocking on the curved concrete barrier before leaning against it, lifting her domino mask and giving you a small smile. "Remember, it's not about what you say, but how and what you convey with it. Mull over it and tell me how it feels."

With an encouraging reminder of your talk the other day, you tap your chin and put what she taught you to use.

"Like I'm just the best sandbag." You tell her, slowly flexing your burnt right arm and tracing the edge of the large and painful burn with your finger, showing the punishment you took on the last match alone and pausing for dramatic effect.

"I spent half the tournament eating dirt and the other half trying to not cripple anyone." You then finish, slowly raising your left hand and looking at the unconscious boy you still hold, running your thumb over the mess that's his hair, showing how easily it would have been to go overboard. "Over all… I'm tired, half naked and like I could do better."

You've never doubted that your quirk could do some real harm if you were evil, considering just a touch could permanently maim someone on a whim.

>"...Of course you can do better, this is the first years' stage, you can all do better. If your were already the best you can be, you would already be out there cleaning the streets." Midnight says while looking you up and down, as if looking for something. "If it makes you feel better, I'm almost positive the third years' stage had a contestant end up naked by now."
>>
"...What?" You ask her, somewhat embarrassed at scrutiny, but mostly confused about what she said. "How is that supposed to make me feel better?"

She squints and holds her chin, staring at you for a second and making you feel a bit uncomfortable.

>"That's it." She declares, twirling her flogger in her hand and then pointing at you with it. "You are hiding your accent."

"No, I'm…" You try to deny it, but you can see the teacher raise an eyebrow at the delicate pronunciation. "...Yeah."

Midnight's face relaxes at that, sighing and letting her smile return.

>"Something happened." She states, clearly and without a doubt. "I'm not the school counselor nor your homeroom teacher, so you don't have to tell me anything, but-"

For a fraction of a second you wonder why she stopped talking, then a small panel in the concrete dome sinks into the ring, letting the stretcher robots roll in.

>"We have arrived. Proceeding to delivery and extraction." The front robot declares, approaching you and raising the stretcher, bringing to your attention the fact that it's not empty this time, but covered in a lumpy blanket. "Walker, please accept your package and present your victim."

Annoyed by the connotation, you look at the blanket and pull it off, revealing…

Your backpack? Wasn't that in your locker behind a combination lock?

>"Thank you both for the lift." You hear Tin's androgynous voice say as the tiny robot emerges from the backpack. "Please excuse my intromission Mistress, but I saw you in undue distress. So I took it upon myself to bring you your property."

>"Our pleasure. With her around we won't ever be unnecessary." The back robot replies as you pull your backpack off it's stretcher and carefully replace it with Bakugo, giving him his mass back.

>"You know, "Mistress" really doesn't sound right when said in the voice of an eight years old through a phone." Midnight comments, curiously looking at the silvery white robot while you dig through your backpack contents, normal and shrunken.

Then you find what you were looking for and slide your back-up bra under your tied jacket, carefully putting it on before you can have another incident.

You also notice a bunch of texts from Pappa.

>What do you do?

So we going with Mt Lady if she offers right?
>>
>>2993348
You mean when we have to choose, she pretty much confirmed she'll send an offer. Well, I'm still on team Edgeshot but we don't even know if he does internships and I've seen more support for Mt. Lady so yeah, it's almost sure she'll win the vote.
>>
>>2993399
Well we lack control and stamina to use our large size and although MT. Lady can't control her size as well as we do she still has a lot of stamina in her full size.
>>
>>2993431
Heck Kamui could help us with austin tossing or refine our ability to grow only certain parts of our body. Since that's what hos quirk is he streches and grows his wood arm to catch villains.
>>
>>2993431
I think Midnight would be a better choice for improving our stamina.
>>
>>2993439
i think Midnight and Mt. Lady would be more for getting beter with face rolls which we desperatly need to.
>>
>>2993399
Endeavor already knows us and trains us plus he is going to be super hard on Shoto for losing to us again. Meanwhile while I can kinda see a MT. Lady internship Why would we ever go with Edgeshot he isn't as high ranked as endeavor has a completely different ability that doesn't have major benefits to our training? It would be wasted time like Bak with Jeanist.
>>
>>2993587
>Why would we ever go with Edgeshot
For the "soft" skills.
As it stands right now, our Quirk goes in two directions, but we only ever use it to get big.
Edgeshot could help us develop the skills to make use of getting small.
>>
>>2993439
>>2993450
Teachers aren't allowed to offer internships, so Midnight isn't a viable choice.
>>
>>2993399
>>2993587
Snipe is Edgeshot? If so, he's a teacher and thus not eligible to offer an internship.

>>
>>2993752

>>
>>2993867
Too redundant to count as a new experience. The hero program is about learning from as many different heroes as possible.
>>
>>2993785
Pretty sure that's the Mt. Lady route.
>>
>>2994009
Actually, the Mt. Lady route is the one that improves our cleaning skills.
>>
>>2994011

Pretty sure she isn't going to do that to Ushi based on when they met a few threads ago, she probably just did that to Mineta because he acted like Mineta always acts.

If things work out Mt lady is the best balance for learning combat and social skills for ushi. There might be certain people who can do better with combat skills (Edgeshot) or with social (the snake lady) but not both at the same time.
