Hanazawa looms over you, drinks in hand.
However, her eyes are sunken and blank. Almost murderous.
Her words are icicles stabbing you over and over at the back of your neck.
You're still not sure what you saw. There were eyes. Dismembered limbs. Little creatures.

The only thing she says are those four questioning words.
Now she stands silent, waiting for your reply.

>Saw what?
>I saw everything.
>Stay silent
>Try to escape

>I'm not sure what exactly i saw. Would you like to talk about it?

It says right there that we aren't sure what we saw. As far as we know she could just be doing little dolls.

"Er...saw what, exactly?" You answer. "I'm still not sure what it is to be honest..."
Hanazawa does not say anything. Instead, she puts away the tray on top of the table...

Before crumpling into a fetal position beside you.
"...Hanazawa?"
"You weren't meant to see."
You swallow before continuing to probe the subject.
"Meant to see what?"
She says nothing for a moment. You hear a shuffling. It's her hand, grabbing something from her pocket.

It's a little crocheted bunny. The eyes are not perpendicular, the ears are a bit lopsided, and it seems to be missing legs. However, you can easily tell what it's supposed to be.

"...It's an amigurumi." She mutters. She shuffles the little thing in her hand back and forth on her palm.

>Sorry, was it supposed to be a surprise?
>It's not *that* bad.

>>
>>2975651
"Sorry. Was it supposed to be a surprise?"
At first, she doesn't respond. The bangs of her hair blocks off what she looks like right now. After a few moments, she nods.
"Is that...supposed to be for me?" You ask again.

"...You're a jerk, Ken-kun."
"S-Sorry." You try to laugh it off while scratching your head. "I don't really know what I expected by looking behind your book shelf, but I really shouldn't have in the first place."

She doesn't reply. You wait for her to respond. Hanazawa continues to play with the bunny amigurumi.

"I...don't even know what I'm doing, Ken-kun. I'm no good with crocheting after all."
"That can't be true. Usagi-chan looks cute there."
"Do you know how many tries this guy took?" She says. She laughs and tosses the bunny in the air. "I keep breaking my needles, and I can't even get the pattern straight. It was all in a video and everything."

Something comes to your mind. "So when you've been avoiding me--"
She nods. So Hanazawa was trying to finish the bunny in her spare time.

"I didn't know you were so into crocheting."
She laughs. "I'm not."
"Eh? So--"

"I told you before, right?" She sighs. "I'm not good at anything. I don't really know what I want to do in life. I don't have particular hobbies or interests." She puts up the bunny against the light on the ceiling, inspecting it. "But, somehow when I saw this amigurumi pattern...I kind of had a feeling like, 'hey, why not try that out?'. It's a total failure though."

She puts aside the bunny and turns toward you. She cusps your hand in hers. Her hands are cold, and for the first time you notice the numerable pricks on her fingers.

"Before I wouldn't have given it a second thought, these things...I felt like I just needed to go through the notions. Go to school, get a job, maybe have a boyfriend and a family eventually. I never really thought about going on dates, or thinking about looking or pretty, or other stuff like that."

"But now I ask myself, 'will Ken-kun like this?', or 'what's Ken-kun thinking right now?' or, 'has he eaten yet?'. What's his favorite food? His favorite show? Things like that. I started wondering more about the world because of that. I think...I'm changing. Bit by bit."

"So thank you, Ken-kun." Hanazawa beams while bringing your hands to her chest. "Thank you..."

You try to say something. You reach out. But then she lets go of your hand, and pulls away. She's still smiling.

"Will you always stay the way you are, Ken-kun? No matter what happens?"

>Yes

"Impossible," you say. "People changing is inevitable, Mayumi. The same way that you feel you're changing now, in time maybe I too will change."

"That might not be so bad though," You muster up a big smile. "After all, it was me changing that gave me the courage to try asking you out."

You lean in to embrace her. Her frame is so tiny inside yours. She hooks her arms under yours, grabbing you by the shoulders.

"Ken-kun."
"Yes?"
"Wasn't it me who asked you out?"
"Well, yeah, but you get my point, right?"

She giggles in your chest. It's a nice, warm feeling.

"I guess you're right," Hanazawa says. "You know what I love about you Ken-kun? The way that you're like a hero. You come in to the aid of class rep, to Nakahara-san...you're like a knight."
"That so?"
She nods. She embraces you tighter. "That's why...I don't want you to change. Will you always be that knight in shining armor?"
"That can be arranged."
"OK." She finally separates from you. Hanazawa is smiling. "But at least for now, you're mine."

She slides over to you to cuddle. You put your arms around her and enjoy each other's company.

"...I look forward to Hokkaido."
"Yeah."

It's the night before the trip. You are packing a small bag with your change of clothes and toiletries, as well as things like mosquito repellent and sunscreen. While organizing all the items on top of your bed, you hear a knock on your door.

"Come in."

The door opens to your mother, holding a can of beer in her hand.
"You're home early, mom."
And she already reeks of booze.
"Indeed," she takes a swig before looking at the items strewn across the bed. "Oh. Your field trip tomorrow?"
"Yes."
"Jigokuyama huh...what an awkward time of year to go."
You raise a brow. "You've been there before, mom?"
"Yes," she doesn't say anything more before she heads out again. "Your father is out by the way. Helping some who knows what farm for their harvest. Just coming to say don't wake me up tomorrow. It's my day off."

Judging from her gaze, looks like the punishment would be immediate death.

"I won't mom. Goodnight."

She raises her drink in cheers, then closes the door. You are about to resume your packing when your phone rings.

It's Kei.

>"And by the way, keep away from that brother of yours, okay?"

You seem to remember a warning of sorts coming from Iwata Riho.

Should you answer the phone?

>Yes
>No
>>
>>2975959
>Yes

As if we would abandon our bro.
>>
>>2975959
>Yes
Bro Iwata Riho is out to get you

Say maybe we let them fight each other while we do our thing? I mean by the time the dust between them settle it's too late for Iwata to make changes?
>>
>>2975979
Eh i dunno. I don't want Iwata to end up following/losing in a path during the mountain hike.

Even if she was kinda a bitch.
>>
>>2975995
She is a bitch anon. I don't care but she is our enemy for now. No one will stop our love between us and Mayumi.
>>
>>2975959
You pick up the phone anyways.
"Kei."
"Aniki! Thanks for picking up."

You go over to sit on your study chair. "Why wouldn't I?"
"Well, I think things have gone a bit awry for us in the last couple of meetings, you know. I think I said some things I wasn't meant to say, frustrations and all that..."
"What exactly are you telling me, Kei?"
"Well...all I want you to know is what I want is what's good for you. Alright, Aniki? Always."
"O...kay? I still don't understand why you're telling me all this."

"Well, I won't be with you on Hokkaido. Place is too far, and I don't have the cash, you know? I can't save your butt this time if something happens. I'll just be laying low for a while in general, y'know?"

So it seems there really is something between him and Iwata Riho.

"Well, technically, her mission is the same as ours. She also wants [Happiness], but she also believes it's the [Damned]'s fault that all this happened in the first place. That, and she believes we should devote our everything to the cause. In the first place..."

You wait for Kei to continue but he stays silent.

"Nevermind. Just know that she has it bad for both you and me. She shouldn't, like, physically harm or [erase] you but...be careful. Which reminds me, being in this phone call this long is kind of..."

"That's my line, aniki. If she's going to make a move, it's going to be in your field trip. Watch out."

You hang up the phone. For some reason, you also got the notion that this trip, and Jigokuyama in general, is going to be a big turning point. But for now, you return your attention to the unpacked luggage. Big day tomorrow.

You stir, feeling well rested. You could feel the sunlight on your eyelids, but you're still a bit groggy and lazy. You keep your eyes closed.

It seems you woke up before your alarm clock. You revel in the few extra minutes of sleep that you get, the blanket feeling extra cozy this morning. At last, you open one eye to see just how much time you have before it's time to go...

And you see your alarm clock smashed to bits.

"Wha...?"
You feel movement inside your sheets. You open your eyes to make sure you aren't dreaming. Indeed, the face of the clock has been smashed, and springs and screws are scattered around it like debris.

"Geez, Yamada Ken,"
Every hair in your neck stands up as you realize the movement is from another person with you in the bed.
You look down to see Iwata's bright orange hair, nude.
"You're up too early, you know~"

Well, as far as plans to break us away from our girlfriend go, it's certainly bold and direct.

Anyway, smother her with the pillow, then call the cops.

We'll do one better. We'll wake our delinquent mom to kick her ass out and give us a ride to the trip departure spot.

We have explicit instructions not to wake our mom. I wouldn't recommend that course of action, she doesn't seem the sort to reasonably consider our reasons before she comedy Bad Ends us.

Well, as a college computing student I can say this: if it's doing this all of a sudden, chances are your drivers or OS are fucked. Either re-install or use a different computer.

Although I remember a similar error occurring on my PC not too long ago (Graphics card died), a temporary work around was using the computer in safe mode.

Don't worry. I know you'll do things right when your comp gets fixed. You DID learn the lesson to NOT deliberately misconstrue write-ins to force your script, didn't you?
I at least have faith you'll write the Hanazawa mountaintop sex scene relatively well like the first one, when we get to it.

What are the odds of another person like us showing up in this world? Not an agent of heaven or hell, but another sinner?
>>
>>2986418
I knew how it'll end after the second page. An interesting premise, wasted.
>>
>>2986476

Doubtful, I'd wager. Iwata is already something of a foil to us in the whole metaknowledge front: whereas we attempt to be subtle and work within the system to try and shift things in our favor, this girl busts right into class as a transfer student and is forcefully shaping the world to meet her end goal, which is apparently aligned with our end goal but features different methods. I like her for that, I think--respect her, even. She at least isn't holding the end of the world over our heads like our brother does. Her methods are heavyhanded, though, and I think it's that lack of subtlety that leaves a bad taste in many mouths.

I think she'd make a good ally. Her and Fumi both. I mean yes, to gain her we'd have to lose Hanazawa (but with the way Iwata is shoehorning herself into our life I'd think this relationship is reaching a premature conclusion sooner than the third act of any Stephen King story), but it's a sacrifice that is just gonna hang with us until one of us is dead--most likely her.
>>
>>2988113
>I like her for that, I think--respect her, even.
stopped reading right there you fucking retard
the THOT needs to be purged - or at least held off until we can make her kill herself or die in some way that won't be connected to us or affect anybody close to us
trying to ruin the entire world to get MC dick is admirable for a dumb anime girl villain, but this isn't fucking Umineko-tier pretentious smug bullshit. she's going to fucking die for her sins against us and the world, like it or not
>>
>>2988113
>I think she'd make a good ally.
How can one man contain so much wrong?
>>
>>2988113
Iwata please stop posting. Your not convincing everyone with your plan.
>>
>>2976715
Or you just call the cops on her and those pictures become evidence of a crime? If you try to hide em it makes you look guilty. If you go straight to the cops she has to explain that she's not a female rapist?
>>
>>2988555

As someone composed of Good Sense I support this action, but I'm worried that something is going to be put in our way that would prevent us from just calling the police on her. I think that the play here is to probably try and out to play her game. We need to ruin her social standing much like she is trying to ruin hours. The question is how.
>>
>>2988643
Make her out to be a slut who deliberately tries to sleep with guys to ruin relationships?
>>
>>2988654
Perhaps. At the moment I'm just a percolating idea concepts, so all plans are welcome.
>>
>>2988643
>>2988654
Seems fairly roundabout to be planning other options when if she gets arrested for this her reputation will tank on it's own. It also seems like it would severely backfire and end up looking like we're trying to slander her to cover up our illicit affair.
>>
>>2988676
What if ,and I'm just spitballing here guys, but what if we mindbreak her with our monstrously average D and turn her into our sex slave angel.
>>
>>2988691
We're in a romcom, not a hentai.
>>
>>2988697
and we also need to get to the ride to Hokkaido because we're fucking late as it is
>>
>>2988654
And her next target is Eiji. Since one of her goals is to be Eiji's girlfriend and if we tell that story to the girls around him who won't want him to get used. Her mission will be a lot harder.
>>
>>2988821
Set her up for a fall from grace, then get her to hook up with our Devil bro. Sounds like the makings of a future double-date with Yamada and Hanazawa if you ask me. But that's IF she survives Hokkaido.

Already said we'd listen, after all.

Honestly though, the physical evidence still damns her in this. There's bound to be signs of her breaking and entering somehow - it's not easy to break into a house without leaving any evidence of it. And examining the way in which the alarm clock is destroyed could point to it not being done in an altercation, but more deliberately. Not to mention the lack of other destruction in the room. And I'm willing to bet that wherever she stashed her clothes, they have no sign of being manhandled. Nor any of our fingerprints on them.

You sit back down, quiet. You stare at the lit screen, however there’s nothing you can do in this situation. At least, nothing that will not make the situation worse than it is.
“Have you ever heard the phrase, ‘God works in mysterious ways,’ Yamada Ken?”
“...”
“It’s a lie.”
“Because there’s no god?”
“You’re wrong,” she says with a tongue out. “There is one, at least for this place, right?”
The [Main Character].
“But he’s not aware of what he is, so how can he work? In mysterious ways nonetheless? Have you pondered on why these ways have to be mysterious in the first place, Yamada Ken?”
“...Why?”
“Because if the He becomes aware of all this, then this world will fall apart. It is not him, who works in mysterious ways.”

She smiles, an idiotic one that makes her look like an airhead.
“It is us, angels. So that we may preserve the peace.”

“There is a certain happiness in ignorance, but there is a joy in the truth, yes? That is why I’m here.”

She stands up from the bed, and reaches over to the side...

Where she puts on her undergarments and her uniform from back in Kyoto.

“...What are you doing, Iwata?”

She smiles, and throws something at you.

Your phone.

“I’m working,” she says.

She sits down on the chair, and grabs another thing from her pocket.

A brand new alarm clock.

She collects the broken pieces inside a plastic bag, while adjusting the clock to your view.

“And my work here is done.”

The clock reads 8:30. An hour before the flight.

You were supposed to be there by 7:00.

“Tick tock, Yamada Ken. What’re you going to do now?”

As much as you want to get back at Iwata...

There isn’t any time. You dash out of the door, and check your phone.

There are numerous calls and texts, mostly from a furious class rep who seems to be cursing your being.

You hop down the stairs two at a time, to see your mother in the kitchen.

Her eyes are sunken, and half asleep as she pours herself a cup of coffee. Upon noticing you descend, her eyes widen, but then transform into a deadly glare.

“Why the hell are you still here?!”

You hear running footsteps from outside. You’re not entirely sure, but your intuition is telling you that it’s Iwata Riho escaping the scene of the crime.

“No time to waste mom! Start the car and I’ll grab my—uwah!”

You dodge the slipper that your mother threw into your direction. It barely missed your ear.

“The gall of this brat after what I told him last night...!”

“I’m sorry, mom! But we really have to go!”

You climb back up the stairs to avoid the incoming second slipper.

Surely enough, Iwata Riho is gone from your room, without a single trace.

You throw your items into the trunk of your mom’s white car. You hop into the passenger side, while you wait for your mom to stagger in.
“Mom,” you wait as she gets in. “There’s something I have to--”
“Shut up!”
Her sudden scary voice silenced you immediately.
“Do you know how much your field trip cost, Ken?! And haven’t I told you not to bother me this morning?”
“Yes, but--”
“I said shut up!” She drops her plastic cup of water on the cup holder, before starting the car. The car roars into action as she revs the engine.
“I don’t want to hear a word from you in the next thirty minutes, or I swear, I’m turning off this engine right now!”
“...Yes...”
“Now wear your seatbelt,” she says as she cricks her neck. “The place to save time will come in the next five hairpin curves.”

Miraculously, you arrived at the Tokyo airport in time, and maybe even more miraculously, you arrived with all limbs attached. You remind yourself never to ride in the car with your mom hungover ever again...

After an almost endless amount of apologizing to the staff of the airline, as well as your teachers, you finally get seated on the airplane. Though there were some jeering from your classmates of where you have been, you technically arrived before the 9:30 flight time, so not much damage was done.

You’re seated at the window, beside the class rep who doesn’t say anything. At the aisle row is Nakamura Eiji, talking to some of the other guys.

After the plane has taken to air, you head to the comfort room, but before you could enter, your collar is tugged aside.

“Hey--!”
“Hey yourself, you jerk!”

It’s the class rep. Her eyes are burning demonic, and her hands are ripping your clothes. You feel the aura of death around her.

“Miss, I’m sorry, this is the galley, you can’t be--”
The flight attendant tries to warn the class rep, but only one glance and she’s cowering away.

“Just where have you been, Ken. Ken?”

Her appearance right now is nearing Fumi levels, if not more so.

You tell her--

“I’m sorry, class rep, but--”
“But, what?!” She says, one of her eyebrows twitching.
“I, er...I’m going to tell you, but...I can’t tell you right now. When the time is right...”
She glares at you for a few more seconds, before finally letting go. You fix your uniform, while Hikaru Ryou stares away, arms across.

“Yeah. Sorry.” She replies with a surprising meek voice.
“No, no, it’s me who has to be sorry...”

She nods, but still stays silent. There’s...a weird atmosphere forming around. Not necessarily awkwardness, but similar. There are only a few times that the class rep has been like this. You look back at the seats, but the students seem to be largely ignoring you.

You try to think up the reason behind this.

“Uh...” You try to probe carefully. “Did something happen, class rep? Anything you want to talk about?”
She stays silent for a bit more until finally.
“...Confess...”
“...What was that, class rep?”

“I-I’m,” Hikaru Ryou, blushing a deep crimson puts a loose strand of hair anyway and looks you in the eye.
“I’m going to confess to Nakamura-kun.”

“Eh? How? What--” You wanted to ask what spurred this on, but the suddenness of the declaration took you aback. You had no idea she had any plans like this.

You glance at the cabin, trying to find Tezuka. She’s sitting on the other side of the plane, next to the window. You expect her to be asleep but instead she’s staring outside, a serious look in her eyes.

“Yes...tomorrow, during the test of courage in Jigokuyama...I’ll find a way to be alone with him. Then I’ll tell him my feelings.”
Despite her words however...
Her face seems torn, and not a try of excitement or joy is in Ryou’s face.
“It’s just that I’m still scared.”

Hey, so here's food for thought. Let's say things actually go through and she confesses. Do you think Eiji will ACTUALLY say yes? Me personally...? I'm not so certain. We've been monopolizing a lot of her time, and on the whole I feel like she hasn't been interacting with Eiji enough for him to really start feeling that way about her. Obviously he might say okay just to be nice, but if he's honest with himself, then...

A question pops to mind. “Do you think he’ll suddenly hate you if you confess and he doesn’t reply? You have to steel yourself for that possibility too.”

“I know that...Eiji won’t hate me like that...but still...I know that...No, I...”

She hugs herself in confusion.

“I’m...I’m really scared, Ken-kun.”
“Yeah.”
“I don’t know what I’ll do if he turns me down.”

“So, can you help me?”

Ryou straightens up once more. “In the hike to Lake Asa...if it’s possible, could you just try to find out? If I have a chance or not?”

She stays silent for a while, and then nods.

“...I think you’re right. I should just confess and stop worrying. Sorry.”
“Don’t be class rep,”
“But at the very least...for now...”
You raise a brow.
“...Change seats with me?”
You chuckle and nod. It must hurt the gut to be seated next to the person you’ll confess to soon.

She returns to your seat. Eiji’s answer, huh...should you investigate what it is, after all?

You head back to your seat as well, when you bump into someone.

“Ah--”
“Get outta the way, dumbass--!”

Fumi shoves you out and into the comfort room. From inside, you could hear the sounds of throwing up.
“You ok?”
“Why don’t I...*hurk*...shove your face down here and you tell me?”

You quickly get a hold of a teacher and flight attendant for help.

The Hokkaido trip has begun.

Just finished catching up.

The Teacher is clearly "secretly" lecherous for one of the girls (I wanna say Mariko) and is probably the one who actually had enough money to hire the delinquents. That's why our cute delinquent was able to get to school for the beating without getting in trouble.

Brother is extra dumb since the reason he's sending relationship assassins is because we're doing one of the first things he explicitly told us to do.(remember that mobs are people too.)

MC-Kun seems to be somewhat lonely without any male companionship because his one weirdo friend. They're focused on the bad results of us existing instead of seeing that they allowed (caused?) the core problem there in the first place. He's supposed to fulfill the wishes of his god and yet he's leaving things with the dude unhappy? Eji was trying his hardest to rope us in from the get go. Did our brother never stop to consider that maybe Eji is what dragged us into this world.

The training montage immediately working at the grocery store wasn't us supplanting the MC or anything like that. It's dad's meta properties kicking in.

We probably need to play cupid with the psuedo harem we're getting before we end up looking as dense as Eji. Or leave them to the whims of Ryou's cupid hobby now that she's more sane.

There was something else I noticed but I managed to forget after I fell asleep. I'm sure it won't be an important detail at all.

>>2993998
The truth would probably work the best since she's quite open about her cockblocking the harem to get MC for herself goal.
Since we're the one coaching Hikari into being ready for a confession and she's probably about to try cockblocking Hikari we have a completely true motive in place about how she wants to remove on whatever person might interfere with her goal.
>>
>>2994315
I am also looking forward to all of the wonderful teasing I can do since this isn't the archives. When we found out hell mountain I wanted MC to wonder out loud how anyone is supposed to be able to get married and make babies if they're dead.

Because we were trying to hide we were close to each other. In Japan you only call people by their first name if you are married or are in a intimate relationship. Don't forget we are in a roomcom

>Did I miss something, how did it become public knowledge we were dating Mayumi.

She frenched us in public when she got jealous of us hagging out with our deliquent friend/brother
>>
>>2993507
I think it's a bigger gamble than that. If he achieves that Happiness with her and he's a god then logically if he makes something after the universe ends she gets to still exist along with it or she gets to share his power since she's now the wife of a god which usually means elevated status.
