/qst/ - Quests

You are Nawakubi Hanano, a magical girl.

After the sudden betrayal of Morgan la Fay, you failed to resist against Albilio's surprise attack. Heavily damaged, you get captured, chained, and trapped within Morgan's prison within her mansion. In one month inside a dark cell you had been tortured unceasingly, for your blood- to be used for a ritual - and to break you further so Mordred can use you as a vessel.

Oneko Suzukawa, your childhood friend had been captured as well due to her magical capabilities and the prospect of using her to bolster the monstrous forces of the witch. She too had to endure the hardships you faced before her, awakening as a magical girl through wish and wanting. Empowered, Suzukawa had gained her catalyst - Faria's Will - and broke out of the prison, escaping with you in her shoulders.

Now you have returned back to the city, arriving in the outskirts of Tokyo. You have yet to regain your past strength, your beautiful appearance now weathered: a lost eye, and a body of scars.

Nawakubi Hanano - Magical Girl Profile:

Katyusha:
- Two pistols that convert magical energy into bullets and is Nawakubi's catalyst.
Roaring Love Song:
- Remotely cast and control magical circles that fires a continuous barrage of destructive blasts.
Bullet Time:
- Enter a seven second period of heightened senses. Within this state, everything around you is perceived at a slower speed. Once the effect has ended, it cannot be used for three minutes.
Magic Platform:
- Create and dispel platforms that you can stand upon. It can also be used as a shield, the amount of layers made increasing the strength.

Oneko Suzukawa - Magical Girl Profile:

Faria's Will:
- Two massive balls of spikes that are connected by a long chain. This is the catalyst of Oneko; able to accelerate, obtain, and enhance the amount of force generated while in motion.
???:
>>
>Suzu unlocked her potential through sheer force of will.

That's impressive.
>>
"Torture is awfully painful..." you reminded her, "...I don't want to think about it."

Suzukawa apologizes, "Sorry."

"Don't be, it's something that can be dealt with later."

Turning off the lamp on your side of the bed, you both go under the sheets and go to sleep. Suzukawa moves close to your, her body heat radiating from her. You didn't fight back when she hugs you in close as you were too weak, and even if you were in peak condition she'll just be too strong physically for you. Like that, you spend the remainder of the evening and night in respite, resting, something that you couldn't obtain in the past unless you black out due to pain.

Your inside your house, making breakfast as the sun slowly comes up for morning. Eiji's at the table waiting for you to make the food, patiently seated at the table. Stopping, you lose yourself as you realize something felt off.

You turn around...

You turn around to see a little girl on the other side of the table, facing Eiji on the opposite direction that looked like it was normal. She had the same details as you, blonde hair, green eyes; the little girl turns to look at you back, smiling.

"Mama!" the girls says cheerfully. "is it almost ready?"

"Just wait, sweetie, it's almost done," you tell the girl.

Finishing, you bring three plates of home-made food to the table, placing each one to each seat. You pull out the seat next to Eiji, happily eating as a family. But you can't help but feel concerned about something, an annoying and untranslatable sentence, word, or though at the back of your head.

"Are you okay, Nawa?" Eiji says to you, calling you by your nickname within the family.

"I'm fine. Just thinking about things."

"Okay, but you can tell me anything if it troubles you."

All three of you continue breakfast, the itch still gnawing at you.

Giving ---------- a small bottle of apple juice and a sandwich on her plate, she started eating, consuming the bread, ham, and vegetable at a sluggish pace since her mouth is small. Eiji eagerly waited for you to give him one as well, eating faster than ----------- could comprehend.

"That was delicious, Nawa. How about we come here next weekend?"

"I would like to, honey!" your mood skyrocketing into an emotion above joy. "Anything is wonderful with just the three of us."

Eiji smirked, closing in on you. Disregarding your personal space - not like you cared about it though - he kissed you wholeheartedly, you yourself returning his love. ---------- watched from the sidelines, looking at the two of you with a naive face.

"I love you too," Eiji says back, calmly, contrasting your current attitude.

At this point, you've already taken off his shirt, now starting at his belt. ---------- was looking the other way, preoccupied with pulling the grass and weeds.

What's Hanano's rationalization for blaming the WMA girls? Not saying that she can't - she's suffering a mental breakdown and can't be expected to be logical.

But it would be nice to have some idea of what mental hoops she's jumping through to reach this conclusion, for later roleplaying.

>>
>>2977864
i know, but blaming the other girls for this is far fetched at best, and morgan should be our main target considering the made us this directly.
>>
>>2977856
More like we realize she was just a dream and really really really really really really don't want to think about it because it hurts THAT BAD.

>>2977858
If they hadn't tried to recruit/tempt Eiji, he wouldn't be going into dangerous situations, and we wouldn't have had to try to protect him. Eiji is perfect and flawless, thus, it's not his fault.
>>
>>2977858
Remini and that Arthur bloodfake been a team in 4 months while we didn't know.
>>
>>2977863
That... makes sense, we're supposed to be the vessel. Clearly when we rape Eiji, out pops Mordred
>>
>>2977869
Or we're so yandere we don't actually care about the daughter as much as our precious Eiji.

Which is horrifying if you give it too much though.
>>
That said, I agree that Morgan should be far more of a target than those bitches. To the point I'd consider a temporary alliance with them.

Of course we'd kill them after Morgan is dead, but you get the point.
>>
>>2977869
but morgana was going to hunt him and us either way. I want to kill the other girls too, but this rage shouldn't be wasted on them.
>>
>>2977875
daughter wasn't real.
>>
>>2977872
Seems we turned Mordred into a good girl in our dreams. If that is Mordred.
>>
>>2977883
She was real to us, emotionally, even if we know right now that rationally she never existed out of our head.
>>
>>2977881
First thing in his mind is those girls with Eiji and considering her dream is right now she wants to be on Eiji side as soon as possible. Now that Eiji ain't on her side and now thinking that those girls are on him probably jumping on his dick this is in meta for her to think about that.
>>
>>2977889
So next update we ask Suzu to help us find our daughter?
>>
>>2977889
This
>>
>>2977900
That's not what I meant. We still feel the emotional loss of losing our daughter even if we rationally know she never existed.

Which makes it significant that we aren't freaking out over losing her. As the other anon said, perhaps our attachment to Eiji is just that much greater.
>>
>>2977894
ok, i can get behind that logic. Still, i hope we can redirect our anger later on towards the real target that made it possible for the other girls to jump on his dick.
>>
>>2977889
She needs to grow up a little more before she steals Eiji from us, as she is fated to do.
She remembers every single time we did it with Emoji in front of her. She remembers the intern jealousy she felt. That she feels now and every single instance of her existence.
The fact that we don't care about her in the at all and we are only nice to her because that is what Eiji doesn't help, at all. Her mother is indifferent at best, her father is too occupied with that bitch to notice her.
>>
>>2977894
The logic in >>2977869, I can accept. But 'I dreamed of taking his dick, therefore those girls must be taking his dick' is honestly a little too much of a stretch for me, even considering that she's kinda losing it.

You start laughing uncontrollably, stuck between crying and going haywire while grasping at your head with a face of losing sanity. Detaching your hands, you then hug Suzukawa who was confused at what's unfolding in front of her.

"All...A because of those bitches! All of them! And...H-Her! Because of them, I'm like this!" you say, hiccuping in between and grinning a madman's smile. "If it wasn't for those girls! If it wasn't for them, recruiting Eiji into their plans, I wouldn't be in this mess, I-I...I wouldn't be in this mess. I wouldn't been chosen, taken by Morgan and become this mockery of mysefl..." The reigns of rationality is slipping from you, leaving you in the dust. "Morgan...Morgan, Morgan, Morgan, Morgan! The person who made me..THIS...I'll kill her! I'll--"

"Stop!" shouts Suzukawa, hugging you into her embrace. "Stop, don't speak. You're clearly not right in the head. Just breathe."

Her voice snaps you from your episode, the trembling of your body resounding through you again. Her toned body and full breast push against you while she herself pulls you in. Your mind is in disarray now that your rage has subsided, leaving you like a broken doll, crying tears even though you don't whimper.

I find it odd trying to reconcile the amount of personal emphasis Hanano has in her rant with her previous characterization. It's all about what they did to ME and barely a passing mention of Eiji, as opposed to what they've done to the most important person in her life.

On that topic, I feel like this whole occurrence COULD be a great in-universe justification for her going from her old yandere type to the type of yandere WE'VE been playing her as- due to being so disfigured and messed up now, she no longer believes that she's 'worthy' of being with Eiji, so she devotes her entire being to simply protecting him from everyone who could remotely be a threat.

"Oneko," you utter, not telling anything else.

"It's...A nice name," playing delicate to ease you, secretly hailing your words.

"It's a wonderful name," you reply, grinning not with madness but now with motherly love, even though this child called 'Oneko' has never been conceived. "Meow, moew~ kehaha..ha..."

Suzukawa changes the tide of the conversation to distract you from your pathetic laughs, "Let's get changed and give the keys back. I only rented for one night."

You only nod slightly, not moving until Suzukawa places you on the pillow. She first puts on her clothes, turning to you and putting on yours. The catty girl gives you her hand to which you take, leaning on her side but with more stability, your strength coming soon.

Taking the elevator, your friend visits the front desk and gives back the keys, the both of you exiting the love hotel and back into the streets of the city. The winter wind blows against you the moment the doors open, you yourself gripping Suzukawa harder. She sees this, letting you do as you please.

"...Eiji," you ask for only.

"Er, food it is," Suzukawa, glossing over the name of your brother.

Going deeper into the city, packs of people become more frequent and crowds are now thicker, even in the early morning. You both come across another convenience store, smushed together by two bigger buildings. Suzukawa settled on getting food from there since the money you have isn't enough for any decent restaurants, excluding fast food chains. And so, she went inside with you in tow, buying two ready-made lunches and bottles of water,. Your funds are low after renting a room for last night, now only down to a small amount.

Out from the store, you find a bench to sit on, onlookers glancing over you on their way to wherever they're going. Suzukawa hands you a pair of disposable chopsticks, opening the plastic lunchbox for you and moving on to hers. Mindlessly you eat, the cheap flavor of the food now tasteless. Even taking a drink of water was more delicious, albeit not by a large margin.

A girl, who, you have no relations with passes by. A thing inside you implants something in your head, wanting for harm.

You leave the girl be; grabbing one of Suzukawa's hands you point to the passing girl who gives a familiar air.

"Do you recognize her?"

"That girl? Uh, she kinda looks like that girl with the braid back at school. She even looks the same height."

The catty girl giving her opinion prompts you to look for more details on the passerby. You leave the supposed Aeki, resuming your arm to eat the rest of your food. Even if it wasn't the real Aeki, the back of your mind berates you that she is, like a crude fourth sense. All the way, until the girl becomes obscured by the many people like her, you focus on her figure till she was long gone. Suzukawa noticed your behavior, looking to where you were too but quitting when she sees no one.

She drinks the least of her water bottle, throwing it in the trashcan placed beside the bench along with her plastic box. The bench, although rigid and uncomfortable by both snow and steel, was acceptable enough for Suzukawa to lean backwards, waiting for you. Eventually you did eat the last of the cheaply manufactured lunch, throwing it away as well.

"So where to? Without anything hunting us or somewhere to exactly go, it's pretty boring. Unless you want to wander around still," mentions the tomboy.

I'll be honest, that dream sequence is too weird with the dice.

"I...I want to go home," you request.

"Home? That'll be tricky but I can do it," getting up, you following suit. "Off to our neigborhood~!"

As best as she can, Suzukawa followed the street signs along with the occasional city map that only showed a small portion, a 'you are here' mark that doesn't say jack. It even felt like you were walking deeper into the city than out towards the suburbs, the buildings appearing larger after each passing block. Cross the street to the left? Keep walking ahead? Even communicating to other people didn't help, since they either want us gone as fast as they can or that their directions are too complex, further burning out the simple machine that is Suzukawa's head.

"Are we lost?" arriving at a part of the city too unfamiliar to you.

"...Yes," answers Suzukawa. "Geez, that grandma gave an awfully complex instruction."

"Nyehehe..." Suzukawa chuckles embarrassingly, "I'm not good with cities. There are too many paths to take and every street looks the same. You see those buildings? Those are practically identical," pointing at two, rectangular prisms that hold true to her claim. "What if we turn ourselves to the police? Maybe they have some missing kids posters that have our names and pictures."

Searching for a police box, you eventually find one after walking for another few minutes to the right from where you use to be. On the side of its door was a rack full of pamphlets: maps, tourist attractions, restaurants and hotels. Suzukawa disregarded all other papers except for the maps, opening it to see where you're at.

Above of the rack was a bulletin board of missing people. Ranging from children to seniors, they all listed their appearance- shown with a printed picture - along with the last time they'd been seen and contact information for both the police and the houses who are looking for them.

On the right of the board, under a label with the word 'recent', was the missing posters of you and Suzukawa. You study the posters and what little it shows, staring at it emptily. Meanwhile, Suzukawa was reading the map and tracing where you are by comparing the nearby street signs to the printing, progressing smoothly.

"Let's go," calls Suzukawa. "I think I got it down. The nearest bus station is right around the corner."

Leaving the police box, you follow the directions founded by the tomboy. Once you reached the next turn, a station, a little overhang built to be cover from the weather, was seen a ways far. Without stopping, you approach the marked area coupled with another sign, standing under the small structure with another number of people who's waiting for the next bus too. Advertisements were plastered on the walls of the stop, but wasn't important enough for either of you to care.

In the distance was the rumbling of a large engine. Stopping, the bus parks itself in front of you, people entering through the door once the driver opened it. On their way, they dropped the toll to ride; you enter inside the bus as well, Suzukawa paying with the last of the stolen money. Sitting down within the middle of the long vehicle, the driver starts to take off, merging back into the road with a slow acceleration.

"A long time since we've been in a vehicle, huh?" chirps Suzukawa. "Never thought that we'll be riding a bus for a long time, almost happy to be in one now."

"Me too," agreeing to her trivial excitement. "Can you check which stop is ours?"

She looks pass the driver, a list for all passengers to see, "I think on stop sixteen. It'll be a longtime before we reach our destination, maybe a few hours or si? Along the lines of that."

"Oh...More waiting," saddened, knowing that your reunion is postponed once more.

"Don't be sad now, we got each other! It also gives me some time to ask and sort out questions for myself."

"Like?..."

"My powers. I also wanted to ask about yours too since you pulled out that gun last afternoon. I wanna know why my clothes changed, it made me feel powerful and stuff."

That and you being in the prison longer than me...You don't need to tell me the things that reminds you of that time though, just enough so I get the idea of what's happened to me."

Taking account her consideration, you glance at the window tiredly. Rubbing your only right eye, you steel yourself the information you're going to tell her.

"You had awakened as a magical girl. A young girl with strong enough magic to wield by instinct it seems. As for me, I sadly don't know all the answers, it seems that I was intended by our kidnappers to be the fall guy like in those crime dramas your mom likes to watch."

"Ha, yeah, my mom likes those shows...But a magical girl; I thought being one would hail a different look, frilly dress 'n that sort of thing, but my outfit is a suit of armor that barely covers anything, it's more like a bikini. The point is, I look very different than a 'magical girl'," states Suzukawa. "I'll have to admit though, the outfit is stylish."

"From what I've seen, the appearance of one varies from girl to girl: from frilly dresses, armors, and revealing clothing that questions the chaste picture."

Once you told the catty girl about the varying wardrobe of young witches, your mind brings you back to Aeki whose form brought out a tempting appearance. It gets you angry, but depression looms over you that drowned out said anger, reliving the memory of those four girls breaking into Eiji's room. For all you know, they might've already taken his seed, for you know...Eiji might've forgotten about you. "That's impossible," doubtfully comforting yourself, "Things won't be like that, besides, Eiji knows better, and I've been saving myself for him." Luckily, during your imprisonment, none of the monsters tread upon your virginity.

"Hello?" Suzukawa, waving a hand in front of your face in a up and down motion, "You alright?"

You give a feeble smile, "Yes, I'm fine."

"We can stop of you want to--"

"--I'm fine," you repeated.

"...So, what about you? You're a magical girl too I suppose and one before me since you brought out that gun from nowhere."

"I am, but I'm a bit weak and straining myself will just make maintaining my form harder...What I wore is something like a commander, and, a princess, a grandiose military queen in short. The eyepatch will make me look like the part more too," touching the tied fabric.

"Sounds like you, I want to see it as soon as you recover. It'll look good on you more now that you have a body of a..." catching herself before finishing her sentence.

"A soldier? Like those highly detailed designs of grizzled, eyepatched women in manga? I'm familiar with the archetype's characteristic," finishing the sentence for her. "I guess it's a plus for me since Eiji has so many volumes of such manga."

> "I'm scared of how he'll react. Will he think I'm someone else? Will he reject me because of how damaged I am?"
> "If I found out that Eiji lost his virginity to one...or all... of the four girls, I might as well be mad. The thought makes me, crazy."

It would be kind of funny/sad if Eiji is in trouble and we burst in to save him looking like a grizzled, militant woman from his chinese cartoons and he drops his spaghetti.

No matter if he rejects us or accepts us, we're still going to do our damndest to protect him, though.

First off, we're going to punish Morgan for taking us away from him. Then we're going to have those WMA girls release him from their clutches and stop dragging him into harm's way. And, so concerned as we are with keeping Eiji safe, we won't notice the moment that we begin our apotheosis into Mordred.

I am surprised of how well Oneko is taking all of this. I mean, be now she must know that we are pretty obsessed with our brother. We talked about saving your virginity for our brother and how we dreamed about making a daughter with him.
It is matter of time till she discovers that we have already killed, at least, one girl because of it.
>>
>>2979325
It is pretty remarkable, unless you take into consideration that Suzukawa might be being manipulated by Morgan to do her bidding in order to keep us safe and untortured.

I mean, we already learned during our conversation with Albilio that Morgan had plans for what buttons to push to get Suzukawa on board as a backup to us. And supposing that it was Eiji being tortured day in and day out beside us, and Morgan gave us an ultimatum that she would release the both of us on the condition that we kept him away from a certain place or group of people, don't you think we'd jump at the chance? If that's the case, it's little wonder that Oneko seems to have been ignoring or changing the subject whenever we bring up our desire to go back to Eiji.

'Awakening out of sheer willpower'? Please, that's so much of a deus ex machina that I highly suspect something (or someone) else was at play there.
>>

>>

>>
>>2979370

>>2979371

>>
>>2979362
I hope you do realize that this is only a possibility that I'm raising, and that I'm not saying this is necessarily what's happening.

I'm only bringing it up as a relevant and interesting point of consideration, and so that we aren't completely blindsided later on if it does turn out as I described.
>>
>>2979377
You're overly paranoid, we should at the very least discuss things with her, automatically trying to murder an ally when we're very likely going to have to fight a dark queen/her minions/ a team of magical girls is idiotic.
>>
>>2979379

>>
>>2979386

>>
Yeeeah...no, not killing Oneko.
>>
>>2979396
>>2979387
We could just do the sane thing, and collect information.
>>
Yeah, no. I doubt Oneko will try to betray us. She is already getting what she wants -attention from us-, and while i don't disregard the possibility of her trying to divert our attention from Eiji to her, we can use that to our advantage. Killing her just makes things more troublesome, and taking into consideration that she became a magical girl trough sheer willpower and stubbornness, i wouldn't consider an impossibility that she will return from the dead as a revenant or something like that.
>>
It's just shadowrunning, guys, come on. Don't automatically assume that possibility anyone suggests is 100% true even if it does make sense, doesn't it? :^)

>>2979411
But supposing she did indeed cut a deal with Morgan to keep us busy in exchange for taking us out, would you consider that to already be a betrayal?

>>2979406
This. Being completely passive doesn't work, but that doesn't mean we have to be active in a confrontational manner. Gathering info, honing our skills in secret and the like are all forms of being active that won't attract attention if we're smart about it.
>>
>>2979416
With that mindset we've already betrayed everyone we know by taking up Morgan's deal in the first place. I'm thinking we should see if Oneko actually did make a deal, and if she did, we'll need to also make sure that if there's any magic compelling her to be removed in the case of her getting potentially mind controlled because of the deal making
>>
>>2979416
When you say taking us out? do you mean killing?

Because it's pretty clear we're the object of her affection.

At any rate I'm willing to believe she either did, in fact, activate her powers on her own, or Morgan activated them and didn't tell her.
>>
>>2979423
>With that mindset we've already betrayed everyone we know by taking up Morgan's deal in the first place
Honestly, we really did. But the thing is that Hanano's guiding principles are skewed in such a way that she doesn't see it as such.

>>2979425
My bad, I should have said 'taking us out of that dungeon'.
>>
>>2979427
Well if you think about it, we got fucked over by taking Morgan's deal. We may have to tell Oneko to fuck around when it comes to her otherwise she'll get fucked over as well.
>>
>>2979448
...she already got fucked over by morgan. do you remember that she was also chained next to us?
>>
>>2979448
Well I think it's clear from her Kidnapping and torturing us, that she's not on the level.

If we do tell Oneko I'd avoid mentioning, Why we accepted, and the murdering of a magical girl.

I'd suggest spinning something like knowing the other girls had magic and were taking eiji away, and we wanted to be relevant, she offered us power, then... torture/mutilation etc.
>>
>>2979451
As far as I'm concerned, she hasn't been really fucked over by her, just generally.
>>
>>2979455
Re-read the prison scene. She beat us infront of her and every time she tried to call out to us she was tortured as well.

she apparently cares a lot, as her voice went horse/failed her while she continued to try and call out/talk to us.
>>
>>2979453
you could also argument that we were in a "wall and a sword" situation. If we didn't accept her proposition she could literally capture us then and there, meaning we had no other choice but to accept.

>>2979455
i would consider that she got the same amount of fucked over by Morgan. The only difference is that she got captured way later than us.
>>
>>2979451
As I read it, Oneko didn't get tortured - at least not physically tortured in the same way we did. She was chained beside us, and was physically healthy enough to protest our condition until she got punished for it.

Her torture was being forced to watch us suffering, and being unable to do anything about it.

Which, given Albilio's comments about how she felt about us, would have been a far more effective method of coercion than simple physical torture.
>>
>>2979460
>She beat us infront of her and every time she tried to call out to us she was tortured as well.
When did Morgan physically come down into our cell and beat the shit out of us again? I'm pretty sure she ordered her underlings to do that.
I could just be retarded and it's explained later on

I don't think we can be with Eiji without coming into contact with the WMA so we should try and get some answers. A couple of the more pressing ones would be
>What does being a vessel mean?
Possession or giving birth?
>What happened to us?
As in was other magical crap done to us or was it all to make us a vessel
>Can what was done to us be reversed?
To spite Morgan and restore our appearance if possible
>Can you awaken as a magical girl or does someone have to make you one?
If you can awaken naturally that would remove some of the doubt towards Oneko
>Can you tell if someone is a magical girl when they aren't transformed?
If we can hide the fact that us and Oneko are magical girls we can act as a third wildcard faction

While I don't think we could start up a magical pmc right now, there is still merit to this way of approaching the situation.
To take down the WMA and Morgan's crowd we obviously need a lot more resources than two homeless teenagers could provide.
So maybe we could try approaching other interested parties like rogue magicians, foreign governments, corporations with magical interests or just straight up supernatural domestic terrorists.
Even if they don't actively engage our enemies, we'll still be able to utilize their assets for our own goals by doing mercenary work for them.
>>
>>2979704
>magical girl PMC
Do we become Balalaika?
>>
>>2979704
>To take down the WMA and Morgan's crowd we obviously need a lot more resources than two homeless teenagers could provide.
One thing both sides have in common is that they want to keep the existence of magic a secret from the general population and we don't have a reason to help them keep up the charade. Committing high profile acts as magical girls would force them to act as our clean up crew and would gain us the attention of interested parties. It would also put a big target on our backs for anyone that wants to keep the existence of magic under wraps to take a shot at.
>>
>>2979750
I thought about this as well.
We could get the interest of political actors by taking a high profile individual hostage.
If we wanted to advertise our combat potential however, an attack on police or military would be best.
>>
>>2979750
>>2979770
I'm not sure this will work out the way you want it to work out.

These organizations have worked for years by keeping their existence, and the existence of magic, a secret. The only way we find them is if they find us.

And if they find us, it'll be because we attracted enough attention that they are forced to come to us. But in that case, the likelihood is that they won't see a job applicant. They'll see a crazy teenager who let the power go to her head, and is deliberately trying to break the masquerade they've worked for so long to keep.

They won't be coming to help us, or to recruit us; they'll be coming to silence us. In all likelihood, any perceived attempt to reveal the existence of magic to the public, whatever the intention behind it, will be met with a swift death.
>>

"I'm scared of how he'll react. Will he think I'm someone else? Will he reject me because of how damaged I am?" you say with extreme anxiousness.

Suzukawa looks under he sleeve, inspecting the harm that was equally done to her. She still retained her size in both height and mass; although still physically toned, a slight layer of softness developed during her time with you. "Eiji's a good guy, I doubt he'll reject you because you're like that. The guy can't even tell of anyone who ask him something."

"That's true, but would he really? A picture of me won't look the same."

"Nawa, we're talkin' about Eiji here."

You reflect on Suzukawa's words, bringing you back to the countless memories of his bashful nature. He's always been the submissive one, only standing up to himself if it really mattered to him or if the situation was dire. It then leads you to that night, the time where Eiji grabbed your phone away from you before you dialed the police. Up until now, you're still confused to why he did it, why he went against you.

The tomboyish girls sighs, patting you on the head, "Don't think too hard, it'll drag you into a downward spiral just like this morning."

"Alright...Thanks," appreciating the answer. Thereafter, you rest your head on Suzukawa's shoulder, falling silent for the rest of the ride.

Not noticing the passing of time, the catty girl shakes you for attention and tells you that you're at stop sixteen. Getting up alongside her, you step down the small case of stairs right next to the bus driver and out of the folding doors. It was your neighborhood, seemingly changeless, seemingly undifferent from that night, seemingly homely but distant. The bus wasted no time leaving you once no one else got off, driving away for its long and giant form to open the the street. Across from you was a playground, the one where you used to play with Eiji as a child. Hitting you like a boomerang to the back of your head, it all comes around so fast, the vision flashing before you in seconds. Never in the past that you thought that you come back like this, gazing at the sandbox and wooden chips with dead eyes.

Detaching yourself from Suzukawa, you go off ahead to immediately find your house within the uniform structure of the suburbs. At this point, you are able to walk on your own without leaning on something or someone, a sign of a steady physical recovery or might just be because of the heat of the moment. Suzukawa followed behind you this time, keeping pace as you were walking in speed. Turning, crossing, and looking around each corner, the familiar map of the neighborhood services you as a guide.

At the next turn of the block, you see your house in view. Without stopping, you approach your old household with your heart about to explode. Suzukawa was excited as well, the thought of seeing your family bearing anticipation. You don't know what day of the week it is, for all you know, Eiji could be out at school turning all this hope for naught until the time comes again.

You step in front of the door, ringing the doorbell. Soon after, a figure opens the door.

"Hello?" Eiji says confusedly. He then examines you with an eye of a stranger and resuming the speak, "Are you lost? This might be the wrong house."

Suzukawa gulped; knowing you, she worries for your reaction to Eiji's question.

"Eiji....You don't remember me? I-It's me, Onee-san," you say to him with a debilitating smile.

Eiji just stares at you, not knowing what to reply with.

"Who's that, Eiji?" a voice coming from behind the boy.

"Could you close the door? It's getting cold again," another said.

"Probably a delivery man," a placid voice says too.

From out behind Eiji, the door opened further revealing Remini, Fujiwara, and Otobe, Aeki being absent. They too joined your brother in confusion - two girls, one with an eyepatch that stood in front of the house. You didn't know what to do at that point. All life in you just stopped, like a machine encountering an error. Suzukawa was nervous now, fearing what you will do and what Eiji and the girls will follow up with. She shuffled closer to you just in case things went into a undesirable direction.

Your mouth contorts into a smile, adding a crazed laughter to your sobbing; it wasn't loud though, it was quiet, foreboding. The five people around you didn't know what to do, only watching you as you spiral out of control.

"hehahahahehehaha."

"A-Are you alright?" Eiji says to you while in the same place, unnerved.

"What did you do?!" Remini exclaimed.

"I-I don't know, she just became like that. You saw too!"

"Calm down guys," commanded Fujiwara.

Suzukawa lowers to you, now ready to take out her catalyst if anything goes wrong. She just listens to your whimpers mixed in with the low croaks that eat away at you.

Eiji then spoke up from his silence, "...I don't know who you are and why you claim to be, but my sister is...gone."

Eiji's words stab through you, a pain greater than Morgan's torture.

"Eiji-san," Otobe called, "There's something off."

"What is?" Remini interjected.

While all of you were preoccupied, Otobe was on her phone that was also her magical catalyst. Through sequencing spells and analyzing you, she saw your magical power.

"Eiji-san, she has the same amount of magical energy as you," informed Otobe.

"Really?! Isn't there one person with my blood though? That's what you've told me."

"O-Oi!" cries Suzukawa, "I don't think that's a good idea!"

The magical girls were enthralled by the huge mark on your body, carefully detailed like someone had drawn on you. Otobe shakes herself out of her trance and gets back on her phone, tapping away and doing the same unto you again as she analyzes you further.

"That circle! Otobe, check it!" commands Fujiwara.

"It's...It's a vessel sigil," answers the emotionless girl, but now with a voice of concern.

"Vessel sigil? Don't necromancers and alchemist use them to make homunculus' or bring back the dead? Why does she have one?!" Fujiwara says further. "

"I don't know what this vessel sigil is but that doesn't matter right now!" Remini pronounces. She points a finger at you, seemingly unfazed, "You...Are you Eiji-kun's sister? Nawakubi-san?"

"Onee-san?..." mutters Eiji, his eyes in disbelief.

What? No, I'm not remotely suggesting that Morgan is employing some kind of magical compulsion on us.

I'm saying that her having an agent in the place of Oneko whether by disguising a minion magically as Oneko or by coercing Oneko herself into doing her bidding would allow her to manipulate our actions far more efficiently than any means she's tried previously.

"It's peaceful, don't you want to stay like this forever?"

"It is," Eiji agreed, "I don't mind making that wish."

"Now that the idea comes back to me, we still haven't made a sibling for Oneko, darling."

"Oh, yeah." He then giggles, "Oneko's been asking for one for a long time isn't she?"

"She's sweet, reminds me of us."

Under the sheets you move over Eiji, mounting him. You were both in night clothes, loosely fitted and thin. Grazing a hand on Eiji's bottom half, you stroke yours as well, setting the mood within the darkened room. Even though there's no light, you can both see each other clearly, the glinting love within your eyes letting Eiji know where you are.

The fact that you can see through both eyes hits you; you touch your left eye with your index and middle finger together lightly, filling the lid and the ball that's in place.

"Have I always been able to see like this?"

"Your eyes? Yeah, why?"

"Something tells me that it's not...normal."

"It must be pent up stress."

Eiji gets up from his position, pushing you down playfully against the bed. Now he's the one over you.

"We can remedy that."

Now that we are more or less safe and sound, I think its time to find ways to make their lives miserable before we kill them

I'm thinking let's find ways to do that without them figuring out it's us while we regain our strength back.

I kind of want to figure out why nobody recognizes us and if there's something wrong with our perception
>>
>>2981435
It wouldn't hurt to ask since is pretty much a factor into how the reunion petered out that way.
>>
>>2981369
I propose being as angry and sarcastic towards the magical girls as possible and eerily calm and affectionate towards Eiji and Oneko. Sometimes rapidly alternating between who we're talking to. The rapid changes in mood will cause them to write off our constant declarations of "I'LL KILL YOU ALL" as nothing serious until it's too late.
If they are living in our house that means we can constantly ruin their attempts at getting close to Eiji, eat and drink all the stuff they put in the fridge, and take all the toilet paper out of the bathroom before they go in to use it.
>>
Guys we must bunk in Eiji bed for one night and we can call it as Onee misses you too much I want to sleep with you like we were kids. Then proceeded to hug and grope everything.

Always take a sock out of their laundry basket, especially if it's one of a unique pair that they love extremely much and burn them when we get the chance.
>>
>>2981369
As I've been saying, we kinda need them in order to take down Morgan. They're the biggest guns we have access to, and we have the best chance against the witch if we play them against each other.

After Morgan's gone, free game though.
>>
I wonder if magical fuckery has laid upon Eiji to prevent him from feeling too depressed and down by his missing sister or try to go off and rescue his sister, Hanano.
Could be Morgan or it could be the WMA
who knows. It doesn't seem to be one of the girls.
>>
>>2981603
I mainly ask this because I'm legit pissed he just up and forgot about us after a month.
I know real life families are often emotionally crippled for years when one of their children go missing. Add in the facts the families often instinctually know after a few weeks that the kid has a high chance of never being found or being dead. They go into full denial mode and will insist on acting as if the kid is alive rather than the most likely result, dead.

In mid-session during your merry-making things went into a sharp turn. The room was now lit up, revealing both you and Eiji; you kept on going as you disregarded the change of the room, repeating words of love like a record breaker. But there, at the corner of your eye where Eiji took the whole view was another figures- figures in fact as there was multiple of them. Four.

When they were worth more for your attention than Eiji you glance at the your left side. It was all four of the magical girls that you loathed, equally as immersed in this activity as you are.

"Darling, why are they here?!"

"Who? Oh, them? They're my other wives, remember?"

"I-I thought I was your only one!" gazing at the four while still attached to Eiji.

"It's not nice to be greedy you know?" Fujiwara says. "We, too, have to spend time with our husband."

"C'mon, you slept with him for three days straight! It's our turn!" Remini proclaims. "Isn't that right, Aeki?"

"I-I guess so, I don't mind waiting more," Aeki, her timid nature getting the best of her although wanting.

As for Otobe, she retained her usual quietness before hopping on the bed alongside you. The other three followed suit, engaging in the activity.

We might be able to shot them up, because this is our dream after all. The funny thing would come from every one else seeing us sleep(so basically Oneko(. We sould be half asleep whispering"pew" "pew", and making finger guns.
>>
>>2981689
>Oneko kept her smartphone recording every single sleep mumble Hanako did.

At this rate Oneko will out-yandere us
>>
>>2981689
That's not quite what I meant. What do you suppose would happen to someone magically projecting themself into our head if we were to seize control of the dream by force?

Although, our dreaming actions being reflected in the waking world would also be terrifying indeed if we attempted to manifest our powers. I'm not talking about making cute pew-pew noises here; I'm saying what if, just like a sleepwalker who dreams they've gotten into a fight and actually punches someone in their sleep, we tried to manifest our pistols and started shooting?
>>
>>2981713
>projecting themself into our head if we were to seize control of the dream by force?
I suppose they get ejected when the feedback gets too strong because the image in our head isn't them, but the visual representation of the spell they used to get in our head.
>we tried to manifest our pistols and started shooting?
I think that's pretty taxing for someone that is asleep. The whole change of clothes and whatnot that goes in the transformation would awake us or the transformation would simply fail.

>>2981704

Eiji realise that we are fake, and ugly since her beloved sister in perfectly intact, and ditch us completely.
Real sister gets Eiji and establish a stable seafire with the other girls.
Oneko leaves us for the real sister, tell us that she hate us and that the whole "would you still be me friend if I was evil?" was a trap and the she feels sick for falling into it.

"S-Stay away from him! You don't even deserve to be near him than me!" you say with ire in your words.

Lifting your hands a cold, hard feeling graces your wrist; a shackle kept you down on the bed, hindering your arms' movement. You jolt and rattle the iron with a panicked spirit, getting increasingly beastly as the four girls assault Eiji who doesn't even resist their advance. At first, they exchanged kisses. Next, they started at his crotch for pleasure. And then lastly, they moved up and down in motion over your brother, their voices escaping their mouths in euphoria.

You open your eyes, a recognizable scent in the air that breathes life back into your lungs. Not one bit did you move, trying to make sense of what had happened. "Is this another dream?" was what your mind went to as you gaze upon the white ceiling.

Your ability to feel your surroundings comes back; while your were passed out, someone had carried you to a bed. A blanket was neatly strewn over you, a pillow supporting your head. The sound of a clock ticking and the beating of your heart attends your presence, their rhythmic pattern annoying you to retake your own autonomy. Outside of the room is the voices of the three girls, their conversation inaudible past the wooden door.

Eiji and Suzukawa is at your side, accompanying you. Your brother is sitting in a chair directly by the bedside, appearing to be asleep but no sound comes from him. The tomboy was on the bed as well, leaning against the wall with her knees tucked into herself at the opposite end of you.

Your eyes narrow with disdain upon hearing the names of the girls that has so far survived this long. If it wasn't for their ability to be magical girls, or luck, you would have their throats strangled already.

"They're still here?..." trying to not show Eiji the hate you hold to the subjects. Another thought then came up after questioning the modest boy, "Wait, there was one more girl, wasn't there? Where's the fourth one?"

"Do you mean Aeki? She's out shopping downtown," giving clarity to where the braided girl is.

"Oh," you let out. Getting back on track, you return to the original question that you gave Eiji, "Why are they still here?"

"Well, they can't just up and leave after a person passes out in front of them."

What the young boy said is true within the scope of only these girls. They aim to help people to the best of their abilities, though, this doesn't matter to you; the past cannot be undone, and your hatred towards them only gets stronger with every step that Eiji takes when following them. Nice they may be, but detrimental to you and him, considering the state you are in.

"Did they have the gall to tell you that I was dead?" going to the point immediately. Saying that sentence was enough to set you off, and what Eiji might say will further it to an increasing degree depending what he will answer with. "Did you or them even search for me?"

Although hesitant, Eiji looks back on that night where you got captured, disregarding the poison you spit with a shake of the head. Just like you, he states what needs to be said, "Once we came back, the whole street was a mess. Otobe was able to track where you were but the destination was unreachable; the path just stopped midway when we were following it." Eiji sighs, bracing himself for the second-half of the explanation, "We tried. I offered to search for you myself but they said it was too dangerous for me. Only four magical girls and a novice wizard can do so much to defend against Morgan's monsters and locate you at the same time. There's also the race of preventing the witch from gathering the artifacts she needs too." The downtrodden mood of Eiji worsens, forcing him to let his head fall, "I tried, onee-san, I tried...I'm useless, giving up on you..." Under his eyes was a thin line of wetness, Eiji hides it from you by bowing his head lower and into his lap.

>wanting Eiji to keep placing himself in danger
You don't think Hanano would want to take as much as she could, and even more still, onto herself, and spare Eiji from harm?
>>
>>2982629
The problem is that he's already doing shit on his own without our awareness for such a long enough period of time. The other thing is that he's been targeted before and he'll keep being targeted until Morgan is dead.
At least with the getting strong together, we're giving ourselves an opening to be around him more AND we'll probably learn something about this magic bullshit.

Now don't get me wrong, I'd love to be able to one man army this shit like the 5th coming of Doomguy but we're still in Venom Snake hospital mode.

Perhaps it's only me who sees Hanano this way, but practicality or chance of success doesn't enter very early into her decision-making. She makes decisions impulsively, and them improvises the steps of how to make it work as she goes along.

Her primary goal is: 'keep Eiji safe'. She does whatever is necessary to ensure that, and then works out the more trivial details like 'how to avoid dying' later on. (See: making sure Eiji got the fuck out of dodge before working out how to deal with Albilio's obvious betrayal; killing a schoolmate to protect Eiji without any good long-term plan of how to dispose of the body.)

So in this case, I voted to try to get Eiji to promise to get out of the whole wizardry business first, without prior consideration of how to take down Morgan or handle her own situation. That's what I think she'd do. Maximizing chances of success comes second to roleplaying.

I'm honestly not terribly satisfied with how we've been roleplaying Hanano recently, but I've always accepted that quests are a democracy, so I can only complain a little bit in any justified manner. That said, this is 4chan, so who gives a fuck about justifying your complaints, right? :^)
>>
>>2982665
I understand your feelings on the matter. Your explanation does hold merit since it has been a part of our character since the start of this Quest
I also just realized that if this were a visual novel and it was from Eiji's point of view. Having sex with anyone before Hanano dies would constitute as a bad end out of nowhere because of how well we kept the more fucked up parts of our personality on the downlow.
>>
>>2982665
We could use the training as a way to get closer to him. He likes the military girls, that's his fetish.

I also could have sworn we had this "keep Eiji safe" conversation before.
>>
>>2982665
I disagree on your interpretation of Hanano.
Her main Goal isn't to keep eiji safe, but to make him see that the only person he needs in his life is us. That includes the 'keep eiji safe' clause, but it also encompasses much more. Which brings me to the second point; In order to achieve this, Hanano HAS to be cold, methodical and have a high degree of decision making. Any tiny mistake can send to the drain her plans and her chances of Eiji loving her as a woman and not as a sister. Making impulsive decisions might work in a short span of time, but eventually will catch us up. For example, if we had left the girl's corpse in the trash container, the police would have definitely recognized us as the murderer and would have made our life harder up to the point of making it impossible to be with Eiji.

>>2982684
We did, and i'm pretty sure it was with the same anon
>>
>>2982684
Indeed we have. I'm still trying to recalibrate my idea of how to properly roleplay Hanano as someone whose absolute highest priority ( both consciously and subconsciously) is still 'to protect Eiji', but in terms of subconscious impulses also has a strong desire 'to be loved by Eiji' - so much so that it's probably her second greatest motivation behind that first one.

(The wanting Eiji's dick would then just be that second desire being combined with mankind's instinctual sexual urges.)

I'd still place 'keep him safe' over 'get close to him at the expense of his safety', though.

Eiji's sadness distracting you from the circling hate within you, your emotions bring about the caring feeling that you have for him. Without displacing yourself from the bed, you touch Eiji's shoulder, pulling it lightly for him to get closer to you. He realizes this, moving forwards in his chair and resting his elbows on the mattress. You then open your arms, wrapping around him as he receives you. This puts an end to your brother's brief fit of tears, pulling away from you once he felt better.

"I'm alive and that's what counts right?" giving him the old smile that you always presented him with.

Eiji nods, not saying anything further.

Content with his gesture, you then turn the topic into something else, "But why only them? I thought this faction they belong to was much bigger than that."

Your brother wipes what little of the tears he had left, facing you again, "Their forces are spread out throughout the world in order to keep things in check. If I remember, they started to pour more members at Italy because something happened at the Roman Colosseum. Occasionally, there's this office woman who checks on us, giving reports and orders. But she isn't anyone special. I think. I also visited a branch in the city; so far, they have been monitoring Morgan's activity and studying the monsters she has been sending at us."

Taking in the information, you push all of it to the back of your head and focus on the now.

> "Can you help your onee-san up?"
> "Have you done anything with these girls. Anything intimate?"
> "Can you call those girls here?"

>>2982703
Yes, it's me. Hello again!

I do respect your interpretation, but Hanano has already shown herself to be impulsive at times, almost all of them concerning Eiji.

The qualities you list are things which she /needs/ to have in order to succeed, which people /want/ her to have, because losing feels bad superficially speaking; and as players controlling Nanano, there are those among us who will ascribe any setback or failure on her part as failures in ourselves.

But choosing options which are always optimal, which are well-considered and likely to succeed isn't that roleplaying is about. This isn't a game that has a binary win/lose condition; it's a narrative, with characters that are (hopefully) complex in unique ways, with their own character flaws that affect the story.

Hanano /shouldn't/ be some kind of super-woman who can make flawless decisions and talk or fight her way out of everything, and with only superficial flaws that have no impact. It shouldn't be the case that the only times Hanano faces a setback is when the dice roll poorly, or the QM blindsides us with something. We, as players, should be comfortable enough with ourselves to knowingly make suboptimal decisions because we feel it fits, and it'll make the story more interesting.

Well, unless you're specifically looking for a power fantasy out of this story. In which case, I can respect that too, but that's not what I, myself, am looking for.

>> "Can you help your onee-san up?"

>Hanano has already shown herself to be impulsive at times
Literally when? On our weakest, when we were being manipulated by morgan, we set aside the bait to discuss the terms of our contract in a calm manner. I can't remember any other moment other when the MGs were in Eiji's room, and that particular time can be ruled out as the exception to the rule.

>Hanano /shouldn't/ be some kind of super-woman who can make flawless decisions and talk or fight her way out of everything, and with only superficial flaws that have no impact....We, as players, should be comfortable enough with ourselves to knowingly make suboptimal decisions because we feel it fits, and it'll make the story more interesting.
What are you talking about here? We never have chosen like that. We got captured because we were arrogant enough to fight albilio alone, the only reason we are more or less open to Oneko is because she is similar to us and she was the one that rescued us and we are still stubborn enough to set up a one(maybe two) man operation to take down a super powerful being. We are taking the options we feel hanano would take, its just that most of the time they also tend to be the ones that make sense.
>>
>>2982843
>Now, my point is that deciding, against past characterization, to play Hanano as always cold and methodical would be choosing like that.
Could it be interpreted that her becoming methodical as a way of learning from the betrayal to always cover every angle you can think of to not get fucked over like that again?
>>
>>2982870
So I deleted my post out of a desire not to shit up this thread with another long argument like last time, but that justification does make sense. A month of torture does change a person.

That'd purely be a conscious decision, and reflect on deliberate actions though; subconsciously or when making split-second decisions she'd still be just as impulsive as before.

I slept because I thought I can read this later but also slept when I also going to sleep. ;(

Welp, OP is dead. MAY THE SHADOWRUN HOURS BEGIN.

>>2983555
I'll bet that Morgan is alternate reality us from the future who's trying to change the past.
I'll bet that Eiji is actually gay
I'll bet that Mom and Dad aren't actually our real mom and dad and are just brainwashed agents from the WMA to keep an eye on both Eiji and us.
I'll bet that Mordred is actually a woman
I'll bet that we can kill Morgan if we shoot her till she dies
I'll bet that there's a distant descendant of Lancelot who just wants to do the right thing but keeps being pulled back into the criminal underworld of the Yakuza.
I'll bet that I won't get dubs
>>
>>2983568
Whelp, you got one of them right.

I bet more magical girls will get involved
>>
>>2983580
I wouldn't be surprised at that, but will they come up naturally from the locals or be deployed by the WMA will be the big question.
>>
>>2983568
I bet that for some reason or another we will be unable to kill any of the 4 Mgs that we know. We might be able to enslave them, but not outright kill them.

Also that Oneko will out yandere us and we will have to make her tone down her stick a bit by any means possible.
>>
>>2983609
>I bet that for some reason or another we will be unable to kill any of the 4 Mgs that we know.
If there are normal reasons like "They usually like to stick together" or "They live in heavily guarded areas" or "They have more combat experience than you" I could understand why. But if it's something like "They're destined to defeat Morgan!!!!!" or "The ancestry protects them from violent means by you!!", then the only thing I have to ask is what is the point of being a Yandere when you're not allowed to murder to win the heart of your love? Enslaving means nothing since you can just as easily command them to kill themselves once you got them enslaved.
>>
>>2983591
I mean they're using Arthurian legend so I'm assuming the MG's are the knights of the round. We might need to deal with EIGHT MORE if I remember right.

I bet that the true villain is a magical girl that's Morgan's descendent
I bet that having Merlin's blood means being able to mentally experience time in reverse
I bet that Eiji is yandere for us but too dense to realize
I bet that when we were dreaming what we did to Oneko was pat her head

It's a bit hard to write in in this circumstance.
