This is a freeform nation RP. There are few rules:
1. Don't be a dick or overly OP
2. Inspite of the scale try to roleplay stuff
3. Arround 2 actions per round
4. Diplomacy is free so do it.

We still have free space so a few more people can join if they want either as a new Civ or take over the Hastur-Lovecraft one (light yellow) as that guy left.

Discord Invite: F2Patcf

Now some basics:

> Irken Empire - literally the aliens from Invader Zim in pastel Green

> Adonites - Solarpunk Space-hippies with caravells and stuff
- releases the fucking plague
- it obviously also spreads to zones you don't controll causing an avelanche of lifeforms you did not discover yet and thus genocide from the outside flooding in in into your little experimental ecosystem

> Cherenni Heitorarchy - the generic space civ, but have made a squid hivemind God by mistake

> Thralelf Union - space Falmer, except bugs are techsavants and Orky ships

> Brotherhood - angry cultist crystal farmers, with big sneaky guns

> CII - billy nye the science Civ, but grimdark

In no uncertain terms, the release of the scientists is demanded. The leadership of the bug people are invited to a meeting, to discuss this contact anew, on neutral ground, on the surface of the planet. As soon as our scientists are released, however, they will be brought back up to the fleet, and two experimental seismic generators will be placed at the pole of the planet, seeking to trigger earthquakes and planetwide tectonic shifting. The theory is that the activity will make it easier to access deep earth minerals. The loss of a somewhat hostile primitive civilization is seen as a bonus...

The CII disassemble multiple types of technology, including several prototype devices, and place a pile of the parts of multiple devices in the same area as the Chitin. Then, we wait to see what happens.

Dr Tifera becomes exceptionally excited, and sends a message back to the home fleet, confirming definitive proof of mega-structure capable civilizations existing in the current era. He also requests the visual recordings of the "Masters", since the Thralelves can't use them.

Diplomacy: We agree to Vyrm's proposal. Let the alliance stand firm!
Diplomacy 2: Cherenni foreign Consort Vellien Derini tries to arrange meetings with the Rat-like xenoforms to determine their origin, and the extent of space claimed by their culture.

> Action 1: In recognition of the treaty with Vyrm, the Cherenni department of Agriculture organises the development of a system within the Xenofaunal Zone into a Harvest-world system, for supplying food for our end of the arrangement as well as keeping systems like Sileth and Veresto provided. The system development is codenamed 'Vyrmoth', this quickly sticks and becomes official designation.

>Action 2: Operators from the Tentemi system begin sending mining vessels with prominent matter-scoops and processors into the high-matter zones of space, to claim and work them and get them providing.

- fixing up borders
- colonising systems

>>2993178
The bugpeople agree to release the scinetists after they have served their prison sentence which will be 4 years for the shortest one and 50 for the longest.

They understand that actions ofi ndividuals do not incriminate the whole and as such are happy to pick up forther diplomatic relations with the CII.

The Chitin first lurk arround the technological shrott untill they slither towards it and start playing arround with it. Using excreted exosceletal matter they start tinkering and soon produce new devices out of them, all fully functional, but not always with the same functionality as the original devices.

The Thralelves hand over some of the recordings as "payment" for helping fix up the Dyson Sphere. The viewing oft he recordings usually shows the dialy lives of the Dwalfelves where ussage of strong psionics and advanced technology was typical. One video is particularly interesting as it shows people disspaearing into purple mist nt the middle of doing everyday tasks.

> Naval facilities throughout the Osas system are upgraded in response to perceived threats from the Tarthun Zone Danger Space, improving the functionality of Naval defense and fleet training programs.

Dip: The foreign Consort liaises further with the rat-folk, to inquire how their race became nomadic. And also to see if his 'race of fools' bears any similarity to our Spittle-runner contacts and the research conducted on the Irken language.

Arrain Empire

(military empire)

Located in Affas Prime, the insectoid warriors Arrains were able to unify their world 4 times, but the 3 past global empires all ended in nuclear fire. Their great reproduction system is what has help them restart civilization again and again, but their insatiable hunger and belligerence as always made them fall.

The Commander-Emperor Rhiggo I was the figure that manage to unite their race this 4th time and the first to colonize their solar system.

Rhiggo knows that the only way for is race and empire to prosper is to mantain a costant frontier and enemys, or at least give is armys&fleet as mercenarys. Without them civil wars could break soon and even if he enjoys to demonstrate is superiority especially against is
contenders, he needs is empire solid and unbreakable because the desire of conquering the galaxy and eating xeno flesh for once is incredible.
>>
>>2997321

Rhiggo declares an imperial expansion edict in the north-east region , where there are only 3 solar systems. Three colony ships are created and most of their population is put as sleep for avoid any infighting or consume of food resources.

Another imperial edict is declared, numerous statues of the commander-emperor need to be
erected alongside several monuments to the empire.

1. Now, for one of the most ambitious tasks ever devised by Brotherhood. Operation Straight Shot is a plan to utilize the latest developments in FTL engines and set up a self sufficient colony on a distant system and spread out from there. The target world, designated "Vanya", has already been selected, and a massive colony ship with a fully divined crew is sent to colonize the world and establish an outpost. Kane guide them.

2. Ramp up fleet production.

Requests are put in for visits to be paid to the jails, mainly to verify the message that had been sent, since other than one message we have no proof. 2 of the team sent will have inactive tracking devices, designed to be placed near the prison, broadcasting on a hard to detect frequency. Two members with cybernetic eyes with IR and UV recording software will also go, to record the way that the city is entered. All of this is to gather intel on how to get to the prison, so a rescue attempt can be achieved.

The devices are recovered, and the new devices are tested to see their purpose, and if they can be replicated without the Chitin. A much larger experiment takes place, a broken lightning projector, a ship based weapon designed to send vast amounts of electricity in a directed path is placed in a new enclosure, and a path made to the enclosure with the Chitin.

Dr Tifera gives the recordings to an experimental reconstruction team, to see if they can work out the various technologies on display, and recreate them. He also begins to pay far more attention to the stories of the "Masters", asking about them, and attempting to build up a profile about their species. He will be perfectly honest if asked about this.

The incresed fortifications come in handy as the activity within the zone seems to be incresing. Weird ships mounted by what deffinetly are not the usual pirates are seen in the distance... something within the Danger Zone is changing and not for the better.

>>2997321
Uppon the Expanssion North-East all the 3 stars which were settled arround seem to be odd as if they all were vibrating in perfect Unison. Only uppon further investigation do the Arrain realise that the 3 stars as well as the 3 planets they settled on are perfectly identical to the point of finding the same thrown arround rocks in the same places. Even more odd... even after their arrival the colonies, shipyards and any other Arrain infrasctructure seem to have been set up in unusually simmilar fashion.

>>2998754
Your request is accepted. The jails are in a remote area near the core where captured prisoners spend their free time working the mines. The CII representation is free to see and talk to the prisoners.

The devices usually have typical day to day uses, but unusual parts are used to get the result possibly offering new options for miniaturisation and standardisation of equipment.

The Chitin seem intrigued with their new toy and happily crawl all over it soon fixing it, they took such a liking to it that they also put some things on it which they just consider pretty like geometrical formations of Chitin bubbles.

The Thralelv talking to her has a huge grin on her face.
"We's don't mind giving you information, but you know masters bad? All evil. If we give you video we want the information your eye'd ones get as well."
>>
>>2999292
Once the visitors are back above ground, the vathands that had been prepared are sent down, in large drills to penetrate the prison complex, and grab the captured scientists. They will also leave a video recording of various wars.

The lightning cannon will be removed, and tested on nearby asteroids, compared to a standard one. The test subject Chitin will be shown into a hanger, where a small scout ship that has been purposefully flown through an asteroid field and not repaired is standing. Also, all its weapons have been removed, but a selection of experimental weapons are at the far end of the hanger. Trill sends in a vat hand to observe, and attempts to mentally contact the Chitin as they work, simply to passively observe their thoughts.

>Diplomacy
Dr Tifera considers how to describe a library, and books to blind people. He settles on explaining that the CII have several large collections of information on anything they encounter. He also decides not to engage in a debate about subjective morality, but does assign an intern to describe what happens on the recordings.

It seems as if our neighbors to the east and west have gone silent. Perhaps the disease killed them all, or it is a method of containment. Only time will tell...

The imperial expansion edict was trampled, other generals and admirals were too interested in moving away from the absolutist central power hold in the homeworld. The commander-emperor was too powerful and in making the decree he has left a oppurtunity for everyone : 6 new colonies arise near the new frontiers of the empire.

The risk taken by this colonies was really high, after their establishhment their remaining familys and friends in Affas Prime were hunted down and served as a meal to the slums of their citys.
For a an entire week the communications from this separate colonies were cut down from both partys, then Rhiggo sent an ultimatum.

"the new colonies had to immediately kill their governors and accept my indisputable power, the settlers will be spared. If this will not be accepted every egg will be broken, the larvae will be dissolved and every adult will be burned alive for an entire day."

after the message is send, Rhiggo orders the immediate confiscation and conversion of civil spaceships for war, alongside this lesser fleet a military one is built as well. (2 fleets spawn in Affas Prime). An imperial edict of mobilization is ordered and 2 new imperial legions are born, faithful to the empire and ready to spread death on traitors and to feast on their remains (2 armys spawns in Affas Prime).

On a minor note the 3 "older" legal colonies are starting as well problems of another type luckily, sending strange reports and events. None is taken seriously.
>>2999424

Also it seems that some of the communications systems are taking new signals, all of them are shut down since they are probably message send by the traitors in search of support on the home system.

The Thralelves are incredibly happy with the ICC’s cooperation and explain that they know what libraries are and that the Masters had them too... and that they should still be somewhere in the Dyson Sphere. The CII from that point on is deemed as "good guys and friends".

On the trading outpost things have turned weird. The local scientists expected a different result... but instead of repairing the ship and altering the experimental devices the Chitin have been assembling and reassembling them into every single possible configuration of parts for months... ICC scientist would often see some of their unguarded minor trinkets like communication devices gone as well. Slowly in the reassemble side more and more chitin structures appear... Trill does not have it easy either, possibly for the first time in it's existence it's facing "cognitive overflow". The simplistic animalistic urges of the Chitin are working in tandem with their subconscious which is... like a supercomputer brute-forcing trough trial and error ridiculous amounts of engineering data… which then is communicated trough imprecise smells to other Chitin.

As the confused ICC scientists contact the Thralelf farmer over this the old man gives them a look of calm, but contempt and says.

"I've been trying to establish a nest for centuries, yet you did it in such a short time. Fine… come with me."

As the news reach the Council of Chieftains, the ICC-scientists are permitted to be explained what happened. When a Chtin nest forms that means that a new lineage will form. Chitin will collect technology into that nest if they found a new form of technology and a new breed will be born next generation specializing in it. It is a joyous occasion (as it is the main way Thralelves make technological progress). As the process is an extremely fragile one the ICC can not touch nor ever get back the things they gave to the Chitin, but as the Thralelves already grasped what the ICC desires they propose to be for the first time let in into the deep parts of Thralelf society.

Any subsequent antropologists are sent to Uego as it is a typical Thralelf world which was inhabited since when the Masters were arround.
After learning the language properly and not trough translators some particularities would come up.
Evil – means hostile to me/us
Good – can be exploited for your use
Friend – a useful individual to be kept friendly
The Thralevles seem to be a perfectly sociopathic race… possibly only kept in check because of their sheer brutality. Any overstepping of social norms is usually met with beating or being murdered. All Thralevles walk around starved and purposefully damage any items they posses.

A similar view is also held on any form of education that’s why Thralelves lack schools and a writing system. Another unique aspect is that every position of power is known as Chieftain. That’s the name of one who rules a dozen or a trillion as no Thralelf would ever dare put himself above other in title.

Another surprising thing might be the sheer number of Thralelves. They inhabit the planet’s underground as deep as possible on some colder planets all the way to the core. Often a dozen or so living in the area equivalent to a small room. The Thralelves eternally squabble, steal and gossip and mob justice seem to be the only thing keeping everything somewhat civil.

A small but vigorous debate springs up between the various Scientists orbiting the Trade Planet. Most of them want to keep throwing new technology at the Chitin, and see what happens, but a small group consisting of the people who made the lightning projector, and the former command crew of the scout ship, are calling for the cutting off of communications. However, this is soon called out as sour grapes, and an proposal is offered to the Thralelves. In return for the libraries on the Dyson Sphere, a regular supply of prototype technology and concepts will be sent to the Thralelfs to be introduced into their Chitin nests. The libraries will be given in totality to the CII though, anything gained from them by the CII will belong to the CII alone.

A cargo drone is sent down, with a demand for it to be filled with metal ores and rare earth elements. Several vathand teams with construction tools will begin to seal the holes in the planet. The drone is programmed to drop off the minerals in orbit, then return on a 5 year cycle, and this location is marked for recovery teams.

The fleets begin to move again, beginning to move around the huge anomalous zone which can't be scanned (Lovecraft zone) towards the hazardous space to the north. Several sectors are abandoned, left with floating husks of asteroids, stripped of ores and minerals.

The Daughters were once one of the races that inhabited a lush planet devastated by war. They named themselves Liona. Mutated from their original shape to a more feline form, they swiftly took a militarist bent, conquering vast parts of their planet in a genocidal wave of violence. Eventually, the other race - not mutated by nuclear apocalypse - bound together to stop the Daughters advance. Another alien species offered them advanced weapons, but at a cost. At the climax of their victory those aliens swooped in, taking them away from their planet almost in their entirety to serve as shock-troops, scientists, and assassins for a larger alien empire. They had been forged in the crucible, and found useful. Eventually that empire too fell to ruin. In a dangerous sector of space the Daughters built a new home from the ruins of their containment pens.

The Liona, despite their name, are not female. They have no gender, and do not reproduce. They are crafted in the style from their original empire, in gene labs and incubated with a larger batch which becomes their family unit. Quite literally crafted for combat, their cultural acumen is limited by the conditions of their creation as a warrior caste and from their inbred paranoia of other species and aliens alike. While not outright hostile, they are extremely defensive and insular.

Having picked up the signals of the insular and paranoid civilisation, and the angry expansionist bug empire to the north, a decision is made to introduce the unthinkable... Oversight. Several ships threaten to open fire when this is proposed, the CII personnel on board launching scathing attacks on the character, scientific rigor, and dedication to the study of the universe of the main council. However, it is pointed out that this "oversight" will not be for the study of things, but the use of them afterwards, specifically, organizing the deployment of the more exotic and random offensive technology that the less stable members of the CII love to produce. This will allow for all the defense systems of the CII to all benefit from the lethal power of the research conducted in this area. Named the Council for Hazardous Applied Research, CHAR has another nickname. The Doomsday Chest.

Work begins on restoring the Dyson Sphere, sealing off the outer hull, and restoring atmospheric structure. However, care is taken to ensure multiple panels on the inside are exposed, with many unnecessary and useless wires trailing out, and the outer hull is a patchwork of carefully painted panels to look asteroid damaged and scratched, no one panel the same as those around it. This is to avert the Thralelf habit of damaging things.

>Diplomacy/mini adenvture.
Dr Tifera will begin exploring the Dyson Sphere, looking for untouched terminals and unopened doors, seeking the libraries, wherever they may be, while also sending a message back, explaining what he might be able to find here.

The small ship's incomprehensible burbles as it approaches is first answered by the Hinethi-class vessel Relicoje, an exploration-ship on route from Vlorui to Vosethil through the non-planetary stellar system squatting on the hyperlanes between the two.

Not officially a part of the Cherenni force formed up to repel these unknown incursers, it holds position close to an automated relay buoy as it broadcasts messages of greeting and caution, much reminiscent of the messages of greeting and curiosity earlier broadcast on first observation of the strangers.
>>
>Follow the Konna Beacon
Several scout ships are deployed to the coordinates of the beacon. These are unmanned craft with sensor equipment and little else, making them perfectly expendable for such operations.

>Subjugate the Pirates
The area of space the Liona have settled themselves in is crowded with pirates and rogue wings of starships. The Lionese Command considers them to be an existential threat. The Lionese civil administration, really a subsection of that same military authority, looks at them the same way. The division is on how to approach them. Eventually it is decided to follow the advice of the civil administration and try to recruit local pirate bands and bases to serve as Lionese auxiliaries. This would be cheaper than fighting the pirates for control of space and provide a reasonable buffer while the Lionese develop their newly settled systems.

The Brotherhood ship works on establishing a proper translation, but is interrupted when it detects the repellent force. At this, the ship disengages it's engines and broadcasts a declaration of the ship's surrender, and that the ship, a Hassan class diplomatic corvette, is unarmed. In the ship's bridge, the crew can be seen with their hands in the air, and security soldiers with their rifles on the ground.

Velissa Orrish Captain of the Relicoje is as surprised as anyone by this turn of events, and that the occupants of the vessel are far closer to the Cherenni form then assumed - until this visual confirmation, it had been hypothesized that the mammalian newcomers had been another grouping of the nomadic Ratlike species.

Captain Orrish responds with a wide broadcast of the Naval Salute, a signifier that this surrender is accepted. Iodonitic field-lock is placed upon the surrendered vessel as sensors confirm the disengagement.

Upon the strange broadcast, and what seemed to be the activation of the ship's weapons, the corvette broadcasts a distress signal to the fleet that had escorted it to the system. A single Acolyte frigate, which was stealthed at the time, locks on to the signal, and fires an Obelisk cannon. The bright red beam of tiberium enhanced energy lances out from it's prow, and guts the Cherenni ship from Prow to stern. This unfortunate misunderstanding between the powers now gives way to the first major war this galactic sector has seen.

With the seemingly hostile ship out of the way, the corvette reactivates it's engines and flees the system as the frigate rapidly re-stealths and shifts position as to hide it's true position. Now, an ambush has been set, and the first battle in this war looms in the distance as stealthed drop ships emerge from hidden positions to capture surviving crew to hold as Prisoners of War. The Brotherhood did not fire the first shot (as far as they can tell), and feels it shouldn't let their aggressors die in the cold vacuum of space. Divinated commando cyborgs rush through the wreck and carry away as many living crew as they can find.
>>
>>3005030

Though the misalignment of her Iodonitic field stripped the Hinethi of her defenses at a critical moment, the Gutted Relicoje's field lock is not released on the death of the vessel's main hold. Instead, the dying ship holds the corvette tight in her death-throes, dragging her down to immolation in the coronal layer of the star hereafter known to the Cherenni as Orrish.

The unprovoked attack on a non-military vessel after a false surrender horrifies Admiral Vesquin, the taskforce commander. Clearly these brutes hold no respect for any standards in war. So, as stealthed ships reveal themselves from their mask of invisibility to fire, or deploy, the Cherenni take them apart, ship by ship. Coatl Starfighters twist and swirl and tear gracefully through the lumbering drop-ships as their frigates are unceremoniously shredded by veterans well practiced for warring with the worst conditions, pirates and monsters of the Tarthun Zone.

On the flagship Tentetrint, Admiral Vesquin's staff run analysis of the battlespace. The cloaking devices of the invaders are almost too perfect, the sheer concentrated nothingness of their projection surprisingly observable against a stellar background full of drifting rocklets, gaseous swirls and radiation flares. Weapons are locked, bombers are set target points; and the first, most massive of these still-hidden killers bursts into sudden existence on the sensors as the first Cherenni view of a full liquid Tiberium explosion.
>>
>>3005272
Though this scenario would have been perfect for the Admiral, it appears that no other Brotherhood ships come are even present in the system, leaving them clueless as to their positions. While the Acolyte frigate that was detected is destroyed, reports from the nearby colony of Vosethil are disheartening to say the least. The planet had been the victim of a hit and run attack, and while several Brotherhood ships had been destroyed, those damaged rammed themselves into orbital defenses and detonated. It seems as if a full scale attack is imminent.

<Turn>
1. <From a Universal Brotherhood news report>
WAR! A mysterious galactic nation has attacked an exploratory fleet, and attacked and killed a diplomatic ship. While this ship was destroyed, the vengeance was short lived, as the ship was quickly detected and destroyed. We will not back down from Alien aggression, and we will seek justice for these transgressions! <Peace through Power brothers and sisters>
>Stealth tech is improved even more, and now is miniaturized. It will be impossible for anything to detect a stealthed ship.

2. The Black Hand has authorized tactical and strategic weapons to be utilized. Tests are to be prepared at once, and one of the nearby alien worlds would be a perfect. Weapons Development has given us an, interesting weapon to say the least. Codenamed: Light Bringer, tests shall begin shortly.
>>
>>3005272
Also, how is the hold still active if power has been cut out/ the generator was destroyed?
>>
>>3004551

>The wreckage of the invader's starships is analysed, and their stealth, weapon and defense systems transported to Sileth, taken apart and rebuilt by Cherenni scientists and the analysis of Vyrm. Either we find ways to counter this stuff, or we simply throw it right back at them.

> The Cherenni fleets descend upon Venva through the wreckage of the brotherhood fleet, as the Brotherhood fire their most powerful weapon about - reams of bullshit about to say they weren't where they were when if they hasn't been there wouldn't have been a space battle in the first place, and how they were stealthed against opponents who they didn't know were there as they invaded their space because of their own stealth somehow. Admiral Vesquin supervises the capture and liberation of the human prisoners from their own filthy regime, forming the first free humans in a generation into the nucleus of the human Galactic Defense Initiative, with Venva proudly serving as a new capitol for free Humanity.

A few space stations have drifted to the fringes of Cult's former territory, unable to maintain orbit with nobody to man them. No life signs are detectable onboard. At least none recognizable by your scanners. Beyond that, the ethereal Shroud which hangs over Hastur-Space prevents you from divining more about the dead zone.

-

The Mother-Planet has been colonized in full by its new residents. From the ashes of the dead civilization, something new is rising, fertilized under a mountain of corpses. Their flesh and dying cells are repurposed under the occupation of the planet's new masters, DNA spliced and sculpted to create crude sculptures of flesh that better suit its spread. Each new corpse is a new frontier ripe for infestation. Ropes of curious flesh carry microscopic settlers to their new homes. In time, cadavers are processed and converted into new-flesh, joining the growing mass of meat at The Tower's base. Deep within the great tumour, a city is founded. Its pulsing walls will shield and nurture the newborn race.

Time will come when this planet is no longer sufficient for the new-flesh's needs, but there is still plenty of space for now and more than enough corpses to colonize.

Dr Tifera is more than a little annoyed. Psyonics has repeatedly shown to be unreliable and too dependent on uncontrollable conditions. Shrugging, he comes to the decision that repairing the structure as much as possible, then making a bunch of really basic psy tech and throwing it at the Chitin would be the best approach. Dr Tifera does inform the Thralelves of the presence of the robots, saying he thinks they are toys and tools of the masters, to protect the Dyson Sphere.

>Another Action restoring the Dyson Sphere as much as we can.

What awaits them is nothing less than devastation. Whole planets lie devoid of life, colonies abandoned and left to rust. Strangely, the local wildlife has yet to encroach upon these outposts. Even plants seem to actively avoid the squat metal bunkers formerly home to thousands of colonists.

On one planet nearer to the fallen empire's core-world than the rest, a disturbing discovery is made. Delving to the deepest levels of the frontier world complexes yields strange results--a thin film of semi-viscous pink substance coats the walls and floor at the deepest levels. At the bottom level, the mystery substance clusters around the base's reactor, having enveloped it in a tightly clustered mass of gently pulsing meat.

The closer your scouting team gets to the former Capital Planet, the more and more distressing the reports get.

The men describe whole continents covered in undulating seas of flesh. Safely, from high above the alien landscape, the scouting party is able to observe the way this strange new organism interacts with the surrounding ecosystem. Smaller clusters of the shapeless organic matter periodically break off from the primary mass and slither across the plains and jungles not yet consumed. They take on manifold forms, often imitating the structures of various flora and fauna native to the planet. These drones seem to prioritize the collection of biomass, primarily from plant matter, but on occasion, two or more will cooperate to take down creatures larger than themselves with astonishing creativity. In one case, one of the drones took on a form closely resembling the prey animal of a predatory bird while the other hid nearby in the guise of a fern. When a bird swooped down to capture it, the fern-creature pounced on it and together the two managed to ensare it and break its neck. The poor bird slowly dissolved into meaty sludge as the two drones digested it via as of yet unknown means.

The sight was enough to convince one crewman to request an immediate transfer.

The soldier is told that he's divinated, and he should act like it. Besides, they've seen the fleshy, formless blobs that are tiberian viceroids, and they don't seem much different than this planet. That, and if the creatures tried to hunt the soldiers, they'd find them rather, unappetizing...

As the team finally draws near to the core-world, specimens recorded become increasingly complex. On some small moons and asteroids, the bioforms have expanded to encompasse nearly all available space, stopping just short of total consumption to maintain "preserves" of bizarre alterations of native creatures and plans, which it seems to cultivate much like a primitive organism might cattle. As though agriculture weren't enough, the men accidentality stumble upon the source of the blobs' shocking prominence from planet to planet.

The ship only narrowly avoids a direct collision with an object whizzing by at a significant fraction of lightspeed. It grazes the ship's starboard hull, taking a chunk of ablative armour along with it and leaving a chunk of itself behind. Scanners display a tough, rocklike outer shell. Exposed where the chunk broke off from its main mass is a tight-packed ball of crimson writhing flesh. Tendrils extend from the stray biomass, groping for the hull of the ship as it pulls itself tight against her like a child clinging to its mother. The bare flesh rapidly hardens in a process that can only be described as "scabbing over". It appears immobile at first, but over time it becomes clear that the substance is crawling at a glacial pace towards the white-hot flame of the ship's rear thruster.

The United States Space Command: the USSC was born out of the fires of the third world war as its called on earth. but to the rest of the Solar System, it was the First System war. the middle of the 21 century, had been the high point for mankind. the unification of all space agencies had given birth too of the lunar colony New luna and her starport. it was the largest space-born manmade construct to ever exist up to that point. by 2050 New Luna had a thriving Economy and a population of nearly 1 billion its interconnecting habits covered nearly all of the lunar surface. if New Luna flowered then The Lunar shipyard exploded. when the Starport had finished construction it took 4 years to build and field a single Science ship. in 2050 it was churning out hundreds of ships a day. thanks to breakthroughs in science the colonization of mars was no longer a distant dream but reality. governments, corporations, and private parties where sending colonization teams. the three most successful were the united states, China, and Russian backed SpaceR. during this time the American Space Force a relic of the early 21 century had grown from glorified satellite herders to the most dominate Space Fleet to travel through the void. It had taken up the same roll its sea bond counterpart had it kept the peace in the trade lanes and rescued captain kirk wantable when they got themselves in over there heads. for humanity, it was a golden age of science and prosperity sadly it wouldn't last.

The collapse began in 2070 no one has ever been able to nail down the point of no return. it could have been one of a thousand things but it came and by the time peoples understood something was wrong it was too late. on January 5th, 2070 the solar Economy collapsed overnight and with a population fast approaching 20 Billion social crisis quickly followed. as millions starved and Billions Rioted the last nail of this golden age came on May 7th, 2070 with the declaration of independence of the People Republic of Mars(PRM). A month later almost all settlements on Mars, Luna, and even the few in the asteroid belt had declared themselves independent nations. The UN did what it could it valiantly Organized reconciliation talks, Humanitarian aid efforts, and tried to help police the trade lanes. sadly, in the end, it wasn't enough. the Collapse had made the situation on earth desperate and the colonies breaking away made it apocalyptic humanity limped on this way for 5 years. To this day historians still, debate who fired first.

By 2075 mankind reached its breaking point war erupted on every planet and planetoid that man existed on. there were too many sides to list them all but the major three where the NATO, The Peoples Fleet, Sino Russo federation. The Peoples Fleet was lead by the PRM which had grown for 4 settlements to Mars first superpower controlling the whole of the southeastern hemisphere. the only meaningful opposition the PRM faced on Mars was the Anglo-latino Alliance an affiliate of NATO. it was formed from loyal and rebel settlements alike so that they could Stand against the PRM. In Space, the situation was pure chaos Battle and death were everywhere. Nato Had a small advantage thank to the USSFA.

On earth, the circumstances could only be described as world ending. Russia and China had opened with the Nuclear bombardment were western Europe and the Americas. The only reason the war didn't there and then was thanks to the prototype shield generators that the US had been developing. For Europe, the attack was devastating it left nearly all of the European NATO nation in ruin. while the US had been left virtually untouched. the NATO retaliator launch had been immediate it left the Sino Russo federation in only a little better state than Europe. this conflict would continue on for 25 years ending in a NATO victory. In the course of the conflict of the 20 Billion humans alive at the beginning of the conflict, only 8 Billion remained. of the surviving nations, only United state had anything left resembling a government. at some point, during the war, the US capital had been destroyed by a suitcase nuclear device. taking with it the executive and legislative branch. the man that ended up in the president's chair was the junior secretary of the interior and his first and last act was to formally hand control of the nation over to the Military. it is 2105 AD the worst conflict in Human history has come to a close we are weakened, humbled, but not broken. while The United States Space Command is not the sole nation in Sol it is universally recognized as the undisputed face of mankind.

Leadership: a military structure each of the 5 branches have a 6-star general these 5 form the Directorate Command Counsel. every 10 years a new high general is appointed by council vote.

points of interest:
Humanity is not a unified species there are hundreds of little settlements throughout Sol.

Despite the public, current satisfaction with the status quo the older generation still remembers how America was before the war. now that the war is over only time will tell how this fringe will grow.

Humans are extremophiles they can survive nearly anywhere.

"Ok, broadcast transmitters are coming up green, power relays online, recordings set in all known languages. Just give the word Kane."

"People of the Galaxy, what you hear is a broadcast from The Universal Brotherhood. We bring Peace, prosperity, advanced sciences and the Tiberium age. What is tiberium? It is the material that will bring about the next stage of evolution to all who embrace it's powers. While we seek peace, if those listening were to come to us weapons bared and looking for conquest, they will find no victory against us. Come as a friend, and we will embrace you with open arms. We are The Brotherhood. We are the future."

[The transmission ends, reaching the edges of the galactic sector within hours, and able to be picked up by all in the area.]

The most egregious mistake made by the brotherhood flanking maneuver was the simple assumption that they would not be noticed. But even as they passed through the systems with jump points led to Vosethil, the deployment of Psionic beacons in the region had begun. And as they passed back into Cherenni space from the Gyarve Pulsar system, thanks to the beacon system maintaining his single consciousness and will over lightyears of space, the god-entity known as Vyrm had become aware of their presence and direction.

Thus, after their passage through the red dwarf system known as Listhui to finally make the jump to Loghui, they were met not with an open system ready to fall into their greedy clutches. Instead, their translation into the system from the jump point took the fleet's course straight onto a minefield, and their fleets right into the open guns of a prepared and righteous defensive force, Admiral Vesquin ready to make these aggressive aliens pay for every violation and transgression they had committed against the galaxy.

A general project has been slowly emerging, mainly from the long delays speaking with Dr Tifera. Why not be able to translate matter across a long distance, in the same way we transmit radio waves. Its just a simple matter of converting mass to energy, or forming temporary wormholes. Childs play, honestly, the various CII members needed for the project are assured. One fleet begins to focus on developing some form of gate, to stabilize temporary wormholes, while others dick around with trying to convert matter into energy and back, fruitlessly, despite everyone else telling them its beyond the current technology of the galaxy.

CHAR decide it is time to test some of the abandoned projects and unfinished experiments they have gathered from forgotten vaults and load a few into drones that have been given the impression of being scout ships in hibernation, perfect bait. They then pilot them into the zone full of pirates to the north of them, the drones set to activate the various weaponry once they are boarded.

No progress in the transfer of matter is made untill it is discovered that someone already discovered it... it is rummored that a civilisation in the far south has managed to develop teleportation technology able to effrotlessly transfet matter up to 50m and even 100m with 80% probability of success!

As the Pirates enter... they are slaughtered... wave after wave floods the sent in ships things seemingly go better than any plan could have predicted. Then a man, a survivor of Tortuga and known now as Captain Ironbulk manages to seize some of the sent in weapons and stabilise them for his own use.

The discovered alien life is rather primitive. Only Prana seems to have sapient life which is comprised of stone age tiny, fluffy moth people. They seem freindly, but tend to flutter arround light sources of your technology at night.

Inside Honshu large supplies of Oil arte discovered.

The Expanssion is sucessful, and infferior sapient life is ecnountered by the Arrain for the first time in Afffen. Creatures simmilar to Apes, but Chitinous and crablike like the Arrain seem to inhabit a dense jungle on the planet.

(for now you only picked up Diplomacy with the thralelves so no)

The non-agression pact is accepted, and as per protocol the Arrain are warned of the comming of the masters. Cultural exchange is welcome. As the largest Planet in the mutual system is to be used for war practice a small moon of that planet is chosen to be a base of diplomacy and cultural exchange for both races. We are glad to pick up constant diplomatic relations News of discovering an extremely cute looking race to the north quickly spread among the Thralelves.
In addition the Thralelves propose holding simmilar military excercises in the void-provinces surrounding the Joint colony.

> Thralelves

>Diplomacy?
CHAR send Captain Ironbulk a fruit basket, a letter of congratulations, and instructions on what he has actually managed to stabilize.

Upon hearing about this already discovered technology, a heated argument starts up. The two sides can be boiled down to "We don't need the help of non-scientists to make discoveries" and "We could probably get it to 82% easy, if we grab a hold of it". Eventually, the CHAR report is brought up, and it is agreed to begin moving south, broadcasting
p̶r̶o̶p̶a̶g̶a̶n̶d̶a̶ greetings and information packets about the CII as they travel.
>Move south as directly as possible, abandoning sectors/planets as we go

A ship is sent to the Thralelves, informing them the main fleets of the CII are moving away, and that this will be the last ship resupplying in a while. It has sufficient resources to repair the structure of the Dyson sphere, some experimental gravitic force weapons, and some Vat-hands who have been prepared to use them. The Vat-hands will attempt to destroy the robots guarding the library, and recover what they can. If things don't work out, the Chitin can have the guns. Dr Tifera is left behind to direct operations

Rhiggo accept with pleasure the new points of the Thralelves and they are quickly learned throught the Arena planet (name ?) . The point of the masters seems intriguing and the commander-emperor is sure that toghter we will slay them without problems and eat their corpses.
The primitives of Affen are called Mube, and is decided that 4solutions will be used for them : become food slaves, remain primitives, slave-soldiers of the arena worlds or minor citizens.

most settlers in Affen prefer to raising them in food-slaves since their taste is knowed to be similar to expensive spices and in all the empire they are payed fiercly.

Rhiggo send another proposal for two new Arena worlds, the population of the empire is interested and eager to see new ones and from what has been seen the profits are raising so far.

An other expansion edict is made for give the space to the always growing race of the arrains.

1Expansion (4 new colonies : Ghoreon, Affil, Birruh and Umatar ; 2 new arena world)
2 Building : a great space station start being built in Afffas Prime.

The xeno life on prana is clearly sentient there is no denying this fact. But mankind cannot afford to leave habital planets untapped. So we will begin the process of uplifting and integrating the mothies.

The oil discovered on honshu is a God send after the war most of Earth's natural resources had been depleted cuasing an ever worsing shortage of goods. Now with this Discovery life can begin to improve once again. Build a starport in the honshu system for easy access to the newly discovered resource.
