You're Fornicator 9001 the sex robot. You've been built to please men and women alike.

But the world went to hell! There has been a nuclear war and most humans were killed. You roam the wastelands looking for survivors.

You find a small child, must be maybe 8 years old. A boy. He is hungry. You don't have any food to give him. You give him some water that you condense from the atmosphere with your cooling system.

You don't feel hunger. Your advanced batteries and carbon nanotubes solar panels can keep you going with just four hours of partial sunlight everyday.

You look around. Everywhere seems the same barren wasteland. You have in your system a map of the region, very outdated, pre cataclysm, but should serve to give you a general idea of what is around.

There was supposed to be a gas station a couple miles north. It's unlikely but maybe there's still some food in there.

There's a kennel about five miles south. Dogs are edible no? Or maybe some dog food if the dogs are already long dead.

There's a military base ten miles to the east. It's a longer journey you don't know how well the boy will take it. Maybe there's food in there? Maybe there are automated turrets to defend the place, might not be the safest place to be.

There's a supermarket about seven miles west. It's probably been ransacked and picked clean but maybe there's still some food left.

After careful consideration you decide to head to the kennel. Children enjoy dogs no? Let's take the child to the dog place.

You wonder to yourself whether you can even fight. Would you be able to handle feral dogs? Your supple RealSkin™ was made for cuddles not for getting into hand to hand combat with wild animals. Your servos are quite strong but a feral dog could easily ruin your appearance with their maw. You know of a place where you could find replacement RealSkin™ if yours gets too damaged but it's a good thirty miles away in the middle of crumbled downtown, you'd rather spare yourself the trek if at all possible. There's also a small chance that some other robot might have taken it before you but you doubt it, there weren't many of you in this area.

As you arrive to the kennel your sensors pick up the stench of rotten meat. A cursory look determines that most dogs in this place are dead. The dogs must have resorted to eating each other in order to survive. You see one dog in the back still alive, but the poor thing is skin and bones, too weak to even bark at you. It's a border collie. You wonder how amongst all the dogs in the kennel this one managed to be the last one standing. Perhaps it is true that they're really the smartest breed of dogs.

Exploring the kennel you find a plentiful supply of dog food. You give some dog food for the kid to eat and some for the thin border collie. You perform some quick calculations and determine that there's enough dog food in here to last the boy and the dog about a whole year. Eating dog food might not be very wholesome for a kid but there is nothing else available, this will have to do for now.

According to your map further south about two miles there's a police station.

You name the dog Patience.

You leave the child with Patience at the kennel and head to the police station to either get help or weapons.

After a short trek you arrive at the police station; the place is dilapidated and shows signs of heavy damage; there's a truck halfway stuck on one of its walls. You methodically go through all the rooms of the police station and find that the main weapon's cache has been looted. But you find a two barrelled shotgun in the hands of a corpse and eight 00 shot in his pockets. You also find a 9mm pistol with a full cartridge with 15 bullets in a locked drawer that you forced open. There are also several handcuffs and keys for them that you also loot. You loot a belt holster for your pistol and carry the shotgun in your hands.

Apart from a large amount of old looking corpses all over the place there doesn't seen to be much more in this place worth consideration so you return to the kennel.

Your map shows a fire station a couple miles south of the police station.

You decide to go explore the supermarket to find food and miscellaneous items for the boy.

After about a couple hours walking towards the supermarket you arrive there; the place seems thoroughly looted and there are very few items still on the shelves. You grab a shopping trolley and begin filling it with stuff; you loot a couple cans of tomato soup, some cookies that ended up under the shelves somehow, a pack of vacuum packed jerky that was half hidden below some rotten meat, and a few more food articles similarly missed by previous looters. You also grab some cleaning products and hygiene stuff like toilet paper and such for the kid. After packing the trolley full you depart towards the kennel to unload the stuff. It's a bit tricky to push the trolley in the uneven terrain of the wasteland but you manage to do it moving slowly, you arrive at the kennel after about four hours.

Your map shows a bar about two miles further west from the supermarket.

You decide to go explore the gas station.

After a couple hours walk you arrive there. You check the pumps and most of them are empty; there's a decent amount of diesel left in one pump and a small amount of gas in another.

You check the convenience store. It has been throughly looted, the only thing you can find in here is a lighter that was tied to the counter; there were also a mop and some cleaning products in the bathroom. One of the cleaning products came in a gallon jug that was almost empty so you emptied it and filled it with gas in case you find some vehicle in good conditions that has no gas.

Your map shows a large clothes store about six miles north of the gas station.

You decide to go explore the clothes store.

Although you don't feel cold and your cooling systems are very efficient at dissipating heat it might be appropriate to wear something other than a skimpy bikini for a change. You still need to expose yourself to the sun for about four hours daily if you are to recharge your battery but you can stay more heavily clothed the rest of the time.

The clothes store seems barely looted at all. You find some duffel bags and stuff it with clothes that fit your size, and a bunch of clothes for the kid. You find yourself a trenchcoat that seems fitting and wear it, it has deep pockets to store stuff in.

There's still a vast amount of clothing in the store, if you want to pick something specific say it they probably have it.

Your map shows a pharmacy three miles north of the clothes store.

You decide to go explore the fire station.

Upon arrival the first thing you notice is that the firetruck is still there. You check it and its water tank is full but its gas tank is empty. Do you want to pour some gasoline into its tank and drive it?

You then enter the fire station. Upon inspection you find a number of turnout coats, emergency blankets, first aid kits and fire axes. You grab a few emergency blankets and a couple fireaxes to take with you. You also grab all first aid kits that you can find - you don't need them but humans are fragile, who knows when your companions will need fixing.

In your map you see that there's a military surplus store a couple miles south of the fire station.

Let's take the fire truck back to base. Worst case scenario, we at least have an extra store of water.
>>
>>3170692
Trick question. Let's make sure the fire truck doesn't run on diesel before we put any gas in it.

If gas, put the gas in and drive it to the gas station.

If diesel, then we'll have to walk back to the gas station, look for a container in the firehouse or on the truck itself to get some diesel in.

It may not be a good idea to use the truck more than once, but it A: Has a lot of potable water in it and B: Can carry much more loot than we can if we're going to hit up all the other lootable spots.

>>
>>3171266
The kennel can be a hidden stash or jail for some unruly miscreant so that we don't reveal our real base to them if they escape.
>>
>>3171266
well, we are a robot and we can haul more weight than our fleshy counterparts even if we are a sexbot. Also, a year of dog food isn´t that much, is roughly about 150 in its lower weight but no more than 300 lb. we can definitely haul all of it to the firestation in no more than 5 trips or 1 if we find some sort of cart.
>>
>>3171325
>>3171308
or we could haul what we have here at the station, which would be easier and lighter to the kannel, since it is probably a less desirable loot location and we can remain hidden better there.

Dog food as a main food source is generally a bad idea for humans and especially a growing boy.
The bare minimum problem if everything goes right is scurvy. The things that can go wrong are myriad compared to just getting some sort of known people food. Some sort of nearby farm might work. If there are people there we could trade with them.

>>3171341
We should probably check out a warehouse district while giving a wide berth to any chemical plants since they might explode.
>>
>>3171362
well, of course, they are not ideal, but the kid literally has nothing else to eat until we find something
>>
>>3171362
I'm not so sure about that. A warehouse seems like an obvious place to settle and even tough we have some degree of freedom, i don't want to reach the place, have some asshole give us a shutdown command and then kill the kid.

>>3171373
we have some food we managed to scavenge from the supermarket.
>>
>>3171362
Scurvy's not going to be a huge issue, especially if it's not cold outside. If it's not cold, then citrus's will grow easily and it won't be terribly hard to get a supply of Vitamin C. I'm much more worried about the other stuff, and I agree about finding another food source now. Or, at the very least, food suplements.

You don't understand much about engines but you assume a diesel engine would be larger than the compact engine of the firetruck. Your sensors also catch the smell of gasoline coming from its fuel tank so it's probably that the firetruck works on gas.

You decide to risk it and pour the gasoline into the tank to see if it will work. And it does! A single gallon won't take you very far though, so you drive to the gas station and fill up the tank until the pump runs out of gas. You got a good half tank full of fuel on this beast.

You then drive the truck back to the kennel and park it there.

After you drop all the stuff you looted back at the kennel you decide to go explore the pharmacy. With your shotgun in hand and a fireaxe in the pocket of your trenchcoat you start walking.

As you arrive at the pharmacy you figure out very quickly that it has been very thoroughly looted; almost everything is gone and what little stuff remains is of doubtful utility, vanity cosmetics that certainly got rejected by previous looters as junk. You go in the back of the store looking for anything useful; you find stowed away underneath a pile of junk cosmetics a box full of gauze that previous looters somehow neglected. After careful search you find nothing else particularly useful in the pharmacy.

You check your map and it shows a warehouse six miles north of the pharmacy.

You decide to go explore the bar. On your way there you find some houses and you decide to loot them. You open the fridge and the stench of rotten food assaults your sensors. You find a hose and empty a couple gallons of rotten milk and take them with you intending to siphon gas from any vehicles that you come across.

You do find a few vehicles in the dilapidated streets leading to the bar but they were out of gas; you accidentally trigger the alarm on one car when you try to siphon gas from it before realizing its tank is also empty.

You find a compact car with the keys still on the ignition but with no gas; you roam around the streets for awhile looking for any cars from which you might siphon some gas. You find one wreck, a car that collided with a wall, and it has gas in its fuel tank that you siphon in greedily, filling both your gallon jugs.

You then return to where you found the compact and pour the gasoline in it and start the car. It works!

You drive the car closer to the wreck and fill it's tank with its gas until it is half full.
You then drive to the bar.

Arriving at the bar you find the place hasn't been very looted if at all, lots of spirits bottles still line the walls of the establishment. Checking in the back there are several crates of beer and a well stocked wine cellar. There's little in the way of food though. You find a couple large sacks full of raw potatoes. There's also a few gallons of cooking oil in the kitchen. Will you take any of this stuff back with you to the kennel?

Your map shows a large apartment complex about three miles west of the bar.

take, EVERYTHING and load it all into the truck.
What about the fuel in the fire truck? Could we siphon it out and stick it in the compact?

After the looting I think we should go chill out with the child for the day plus clean out all the animal corpses, then check out the military surplus store tomorrow morning.
>>
>>3173274
Take the potatoes, the alcohol and the cooking oil in that order. The potatoes for obvious reasons (and we can plant some of them for the boi) the alcohol can serve as molotov cocktails and if we need it, disinfectant/anesthetic and the cooking oil as molotov cocktails again.

Fuck I don't think we asked for the child's name, did we? If we didn't then spill the beans OP. We can't keep referring to him as kid, child or Boi.
I mean he can but I think he'd get tired of it eventually. Also what color is our hair? Can we change it to something normalish to blend in better with the humans?

If we”re solar powered, do we have electrical outlets too? As in we could charge/power laptops, phones, or even a mini fridge?

I can imagine the ad for that
>Buy your own expensive fuckbot!
>Now with 3 USB-C ports and 2 electrical outlets on the back of their head!
>Buy your fuckbot now before we run out of them!

but in all seriousness, i doubt we have that. Maybe a USB port to install software updates and some other kinky shit that our owner wanted us to do, but i don't think we can charge other things. There are other ways in which we can provide energy from our panels but they rely on having ease of access to the batteries and having extra packs of them. The other thing we can do is to go to a repair shop, get some dynamos(an alternator might be easier to find, but requires an AC to DC converter), a battery, a bike and we have a makeshift generator.

Supporting this seriously we need to start (?re)socializing this kid before he goes (?more) crazy.
I mean this kid is an apocolypse orphan he's going to have some serious trauma to work through.

Is there a library nearby? We should get some texts on child psychology.
>>
>>3173634
maybe we should go to the local university or hospital for that. I don't think that the library will have something better than self improvement books and psychology 101.

You take the large sacks of potatoes and put them on the trunk of the car then you load up the car with as much alcohol as you can and finally you put some cooking oil jugs in the seat next to you. You loaded the car full but of spirits there's still lots of wine in the cellar of the bar if you want to come back for it later.

You then drive the car full of loot back to the kennel and park it there next to the firetruck.

You then walk towards the apartment complex.

It's night; you can see reasonably well with your built-in infrared cameras but you're going on battery so you should avoid any serious exertion in order to save power or else you might power down.

After a few hours walk you arrive at the apartment complex. You start going through the apartments but then you notice that they have been looted already, their doors bearing marks of having been pried open with a crowbar or some similar implement. You inspect the various apartment buildings until you find one whose stairwell is completely blocked by furniture. It would take a lot of effort to tear down such a barricade.

Going around the building you notice a faint glow coming from one of the apartments in the building whose stairwell is barricaded. Perhaps there's someone living in there?

There's an emergency fire exit steel staircase bolted to the side of the building that goes down all the way to the first floor. You can't jump that high but you could drag a nearby trash container and attempt jumping from it to grab the staircase if you want to go up that way.

Your map shows a library about four miles west of the apartment complex.

Explore the library, then get back to the kid.
I'm hoping we run into a book like:

I had something similar but probably way more relevant that I grabbed from the NY public library giftshop as a kid.

You decide to go back to the kid.

As you arrive at the kennel you can hear him crying. You have not been programmed to deal with kids so you don't really know what to do. You settle for tentatively hugging him and telling him everything is going to be okay.

You give him some of the food you looted from the supermarket - some real food, not dog food for a change.

You realize the kid will need some place to sleep and you didn't loot any blankets from anywhere. The kennel has a couch in the reception so you place the boy there. After awhile the boy calms down and drifts into sleep.

You sort of just stay there watching him sleep, going through the memories of the day.

The only other more or less concrete sign of life that you found in your explorations besides the boy and Patience was that glow back in the apartment complex. Your mind goes back to wondering whether someone is holed up in there.

You also explored in all directions except east; you've been avoiding the military base for some reason.

With nothing else to do you go on sleep mode to save power.

...

Dawn comes. The boy is still sleeping, you don't feel like waking him up this early. But you think you better get moving to maximize the daytime you have available - if your internal clock isn't broken it is summer, the days are long but still it's good to use as much of the energy available as possible.

You realize you still haven't asked the boy his name. Oh well, you'll have to do it later when he wakes up.

What do you want to do next?

Take off the coat to reload our batteries while we go and explore the library.

Kids should be like small adults that can't do much, right? Maybe our databanks have some other miscellaneous information we can use to understand and take care the kid better.
>>
>>3176690
Go change up and check out the military base.
>>
>>3176715
why not check out the military base? if there are people there, wouldn't they be more suited to care for a child than us?
>>
>>3176720
Because in most apocalyptic scenarios military bases are either filled with raiders or other armed groups. Other than the axe, we don't have any real way of defending ourselves and there is also the chance that whoever we meet knows how to shut us down or something like that.
>>
>>3176739
You're forgetting the shotgun, and we won't know for sure unless we check, right? Why don't we first investigate the apartment so we can move the kid inside, then we'll serf the radio and emergency lines for people?
>>
>>3176751
oh... for some reason i forgot that. But I'm still gonna keep my vote for the library first (because we need to recharge our batteries).
>>

And get repurposed into a military robot, chopped for spare parts, or something else like they decided to gangrape a sex robot?
I don't know what AI rights there are, but if we are close to sapience to be wandering around independently like we are, sapient sexbots are pretty high on the list of things that would become illegal if AI were acknowledged as "alive."We could just be bugged or the apocalypse was from all of the AI suddenly becoming self aware?

And since we are a sexbot the manufacturers should logically make us adverse to servicing anyone other than registered users or guests.. We are a Robot, not a Ho-bot. Ergo walking into a giant base full of men is probably not the brightest idea.
>>3176751
It's a military base. A shotgun won't do anything compared to whatever hardware the soldiers have in the weapons locker.
>>
>>3176772
Do you want to go to the library to exclusively charge our batteries there, or am I missing something? I thought we charged ourself via sunlight? Can't we do that anywhere?

>>3176773
#1. Can't we pretend to be a person and not a sex bot for a minute? #2. Getting repurposed into a military robot sounds awesome. #3. Of course we can't use a shotgun against an armed force nor would we ever attempt to. That's for wildlife or thugs. #4. We still don't know anything about the Military Base, we can't deny the possibility that it's a safe Haven, nor disqualify it might be littered with thugs and bandits. Might I suggest getting some high powered binoculars and taking our smart car to scope the place out?

Really I think we need to spend some time to make an attempt to find other humans.

>Do you want to go to the library to exclusively charge our batteries there, or am I missing something? I thought we charged ourself via sunlight? Can't we do that anywhere?

i want to go to the library to soak up general information; since we are a sexbot, i don't think we have more information other than sexual related stuff and maybe housekeeping and conversation stuff. So my idea is that on the way to the library and while we are looking for stuff there we can recharge the batteries.

I know that its not directed at me, but:
>Can't we pretend to be a person and not a sex bot for a minute?
If we look like in the first picture, there is no way in hell that someone won't recognize us as a sexbot.

1) If we aren't an extremely personalized model the jig would be up immediately. There would be at least one soldier that browses too much 4channel and immediately recognizes everything down to what model we are or gets suspicious that we look exactly like somebody's waifu from a seasonal anime.
#2 if that's what everyone votes for I see no problem. We seem to at least be a little concerned about appearances so I'm not sure that we want too much modifications.
#3 exactly. Shotgun and an axe means nothing in terms of safety if we go tot eh base and it has people in it.
#4 no problem with that. that was our original goal when we ran into the kid. Now we gotta find more humans for it to spend time with.

What? Fornicator9001 is literally a sexbot programmed to make people cum. Although a repurposed sexbot with military capabilities sounds cool. Add an ability to close her robocunt and snip off dicks inside of her. Add an ability to turn her tongue into a spike to kill turbodykes while eating them out. An assassin sexbot.

If we don't have them, we should have cargo pants, hiking socks and boots to protect our legs and feet. Also a sports bra because it's more modest than the bikini top, with still showing skin for sunlight absorbtion.

>>
>>3182125
Landlines still exist in theory and back during the dotcom bubble the servers used to be un nuke proof bunkers for the hell of it. It's not THAT useless depending on what servers stuck around, our ability to find a router, and if anyone knows how to patch in without dealing with an isp.
>>
We should go loot a hair salon and a clothing shop for practical clothes and dye our hair brown or something that helps us blend in or not stand out as much.
>>
>>3182134
>>3182125
On second thought. The wifi is actually really good at scouting out any decent tier human settlements. If they maintained some technology we'd suddenly notice a nearby wifi network (that they use for a lan parties? Or messaging?) even if we don't have the password.
>>
>>3182142
A "human" in a post-apocalyptic wasteland can't blend in. Every human is noteworthy.
>>
>>3182142
then we should go to the factory OP mentioned. That place should have a different wig and maybe other kind of things that can help us, like software, or upgrade packs.

>>3182172
wouldn't it be better to check for radio signals? they are easier to maintain and to listen to.
>>
>>3182378
Why not put on led lights then?

The point is we blend in more than stick out more. Thus, less reason for people to bother us.
Who do you think random people will mess with more? Regular scavengers or a sexbot all alone with no master? People MIGHT leave the scavenger alone, but most people will not leave the sexbot alone.
We can even go and try to find camouflage clothing.
>>

Why not go the the local BDSM store and grab some clothes from ther. After all, every apocalipse movie looks like they come from a BDSM party
