Warning: This thread has Promotions as it’s basis is Goblin Slayer.
Summery: A few weeks ago LeFay and Niph suffered a humiliation by losing their paladin to a swarm of Goblins, even if he kind of did it to himself. There were forced to stay in the city for two weeks and improve their skills in order to better protect themselves in the caves.

There was however a minor conspiracy to get Niph. After defeating a pair of thugs who thought themselves above the law, Niph along with Inquisitor Octavian tracked down quickly and killed Dragos, Niph’s Uncle in Law.

Now knowing Niph’s heritage as a Niphilim and their carriage, the two head out with a priestess named Europe to find and kill a series of Goblin nests to the east of Alan.

Rules:
>I have final say in shit.

>This thread is NSFW. I can’t stress this enough you bastards. They wanted Goblin Slayer I gave them Goblin Slayer.

>We will be rolling with a 1d20 for actions. From this, it will be best of three on non-combat scenarios. In combat, the first three will decided the outcome of the “Rounds”, think of them like attack rolls. Presidency on rolls are Crits, Doubles, highest for best of three.

>Only roll when I go “>Roll!” as some decisions require rolls and others don’t. Like you can go to jail without anything and have no rolls or you can try and sneak in a candybar with a deception check.

>I aim to have updates at a casual rate, maybe once every few hours or less based on activity. Tbh best time is 6, but no ones on then...

>Combat will be written to consist of “3 rounds” based on the tactic chosen. For an example, check out the Karna fight here ( http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/3121840/ ). This is to make meaty updates for you guys. This can lead to fast combat though, so express if you wanna slow down.

>There will be times I ask for an amount of actions that does not follow the three. Assume the highest rated actions will be chosen unless it conflicts with rule 4.

>I expect to see some great recommendations and write-ins, so if something's very smart or funny, I will cast it in a revote which will take however long I feel like.

The commerce ran along the road were heading every which direction. Some of them were traveling towards the city to do evening trade while others were returning home from their trading. There were however quite a number of boats doing the same, as now our party was traveling by the lethargic river.

It was about noon time that they left the city. Unlike many times before they exited through the eastern gates, right next to where the river comes through the town. Niph had a great time as she drove the carriage and watched the river go by, the boats of commerce and fisherman occasionally waved to Niph as she drove.

Not much happened as they traveled which leaved everyone to their own devices. LeFay was reading and sometimes scribe into her spell book, occasionally looking out the front to see the fun loving Niph through the window.

Europe was different in that she would pray with a set of tarot cards. When Niph asked the girl said that these cards were a trinket of her lord, that while she was not truly predicting the future, it was fine to practice the art that Mortain taught man.

Soon they were coming upon the village, the place seemingly about half the size of the frontier town of Alan. As the sun was setting, activity was slowing to a crawl as people were loading their things into the barns and housing.

The group made their way into the village, pedestrians looking upon the war carriage with some curiosity. The natives were lingering throughout the place, some were remnants of a market as Niph pulled through the place in search for a room.

Looking at all the signs this place seemed to work as some hub for materials from around the county. Places seemed to be mainly small merchant guilds and general stores that serviced the area. There was however one place that was about two stories tall and had the name ‘Drunken Bugbear Inn’.

Niph drew the carriage into the small stables, a man there helping them with storing both the horses and the carriage and showed them to the Inn.

Walking in the place seemed sombre compared to its city counterpart. The people were just talking and the only music was a lone bard, his quality of music a tinge below the average Alanian Bard.

Niph with LeFay and Europe flanked her as they came to the front desk. Serving there was a young lad who seemed a little over his teens, “Welcome my ladies? Are you adventurers coming through?”

“Nn!” Niph gave him her trademark smile, “We need two rooms Mister.”

The young adult flushed a little, “Y-yeah, I’ve got some rooms for you Ladies.” He went over and brought over a pair of keys, “It will be a piece of silver.”

Niph handed over a gold piece with a cute smile. The man’s face becoming more a peet red as he drew some silver and the keys, “H-here you go. If you go upstairs they will be at the end on the left.”

Niph nodded her head, “Thank you mister!”

Niph hopped from the counter and looked over the room. LeFay still had her face in the spell book while Europe was flicking through her cards.

Further after them, Niph saw several groups of people. A group of men were playing with cards, their attire was a basic tunic but one was wearing something you commonly saw on some merchants. Another seemed to be men of the faith, their garb seemingly from the same order Mr. Paladin was from before he was killed by his Leery Genkins. The last seemed to be a group of older men, exclaiming how one killed a drake and them being the first of the village.

Sorry, I'm writing this one.

Niph’s ears pricked up a little at the mention of a Drake, so she started to make her way over. You watched as LeFay picked up one of the keys and headed for their rooms. Europe was seemed split for a moment before she dashed towards Niph.

The sounds of the laughing the old man could be heard, he was dressed in quality clothing with a sword to his side. The others were entertained, many not nearly as well off as him but their eyes were not dulling from age.

The one with the sword hollard as he reached the climax, “And so I stabbed my sword into his eye! Without his brain the beast fell from the sky carrying me with him.” He acted as if looking into the air, “But my wife witnessed my great fall! I thought I was going to die, but then I suddenly lost my grip on the beasts corpse. She had prepared Feather Fall!”

“You lucky son of a bitch,” One of the men barked, “How’d you grapple a Drake? Damn thing would have fallen if it couldn’t fly straight.”

The one with the sword emphasised with his arms, “I said he was huge! I mean huge!”

“Dominic,” This man sat next to an axe, “Sounds like you killed a Wyrm! Why the hell do you say it’s a Drake!?”
>>
“Same differ-!” The old man stopped when he noticed the two ladies walking up. His eye quickly looked them over as if on instinct, “Oh, nice to meet you ladies.”

“Hello sir.” Niph replied, Europe fidgeting as the man scanned her, “I heard you fought a Drake!”

“Well I have.” The man gave a confident grin and stuck his hand out, “My name is Dominic girls, what’s yours?”

The Niphilim gave him a nice smile, “I’m Niph and the priestess behind me is Europe. Were adventurers here to hunt Goblins.”

The men’s eyes were lit as they heard the word adventurer, “Really now? And you came over to talk to us old men?”

“Nn!” Niph nodded with Europe squirming a little under their gaze.

“Well take a seat,” he cheered. As Niph took her seat he noticed Europe having a little trouble, “Hey, Europe was it?”

The girl blushed a little and tried her best to make eye contact, “Y-yes Sir.”

The man brought out a chair between him and Niph, “Come over and take a seat, your knees will give out if you stand there like that”

“Uh, o-okay.” Quickly the girl went into the seat while the old men chuckled at the youngster’s display.

The one with the ax was the first to speak, his tone filled with curiosity, “So you said your hunting Goblins, eh. What’s your party made of?”

Niph smiled happily and ready to tell, “A wizard, Cleric, and an Inquisitor.” You notice Europe looking up for a moment, realization dawning on her face.

The one with the sword chuckled a little, “Oh ho ho! Who's the Inquisitor? Was it the one with the plate armor?”

Niph shook her head, “No, that's LeFay, she's our Wizard. I’m the Inquisitor.” As she says that you watch the Holy men’s eyes widening.

For the old men though, they laughed like nobody's business, “Ahahaha! To think they’re getting so young! That reminds me of Marty the Young Wizard!”

With that, they talked through the night. It would be about 11 that the old men stopped, surprising for their age but you’ve noticed a strange vitality among them. You chopped it up to how game stats affect their bodies.

“Yeah, well lets hope to meet him Dominic,” The one with the ax said as he turned to Niph,

“What about you kid? For someone so young I hope you got a good story in the making.”

“I, uh, guess I do.” Niph kind of blushed a little. She replied to them how she ‘Found’ you and how you two slaughtered the Goblins Nest. She then went to her experiences fighting the hordes of the goblinoids and her killing of Dragos. The men looked a little sad at her life, but cheered when she relayed the many Goblins and Dragos’ death in great detail. How she stood up to the Inquisitor and resisted his spells before scoring a slash with her ‘Dagger’.

Niph was a little winded from the tale, the men were definitely interested though, “Mr. Dominik, how did your Adventuring start?”

“Ha, not as bad as yours girl.” The man said jokingly, “I remember picking up my father’s sword and slaying a Kobold who’d gotten too close to my mother. After that, I got a career in hunting Dragonoids. I guess it just seemed the right thing to do I’d say.”

Niph tilted her head, “Then what's the difference between a Wyrm and a Dragon. I, uh, heard you talking about them earlier.”

“Oh that?” The man said embarrassingly, “Well a Wyrms like a dragon, but they don’t have a brain. They got the breath and the strength, but they won't think about scheming you out of your gold or grabbing the nearest tree to drop on ya.”

Europe was the one to exclaim in surprise, “D-dropping a tree!?”

“Well yeah.” The man shrugged his shoulders, “Damn green bastard fucking just ripped them and threw them at us. You think Goblins are devious, fucking Green Dragons are what’s behind them!”

“Really!” Niph’s eyes lit with anger, admiration, and readiness.

“Well it’s what I saw. Goblins like swamps and them Green bastards live in them.” He looked at the bar tender who was closing up shop, “Seems we need to go. Stay alive and pray for good loot kids!”

“Nn! Thanks sir!”

With that they left and just as quickly morning came.
>>
The morning came without much issue as Niph and LeFay came to inspect their carriage. Looking about the smell of a morning bread whiffed Niph’s nose as she turned caught sight of a bakery. Looking around more Niph could see people going out into the fields with seed in hand. Lastly, she could hear the sound of mooing cattle and and squirming of swine.

The smell of bread attracted Niph, her nose following the fluffy substance. There was a small line of people, some coming out with round loaves while others would bring out very fluffy rectangles. Niph stood in line and waited a few minutes before she was infront of the counter.

The lady you saw was covered in a dull white powder, quite a bit on the waistline but it didn’t seem to bother her. You quickly look behind and see no ones in line, most likely they just came on time out of habit.

The lady tilted her head a little but smiled, “Hello there little one. Is this your first time here?”

Niph nodded her head, “Nn. I’m an adventurer whos hunting goblins.”

The women’s face grows into a scow, “An adventurer, at your age. You should just leave the damn drunks before you get hurt kid.”

“Eh?” You can feel Niph’s inherent confusion, “W-what do you mean?”

The ladies voice soured, “All those men and women who play Adventurer are drunkards girl. They never come in time, we should fend for ourselves!”

Niph could hear the gal mutter some nonsense about ‘wowing’ their women and such, but she just snuck out from the mad lady.

You can sense her unease so you decide to give a suggestion, {Hey Niph, let's go see the farmers. They might know something about the Goblins.}

{Nn. I’ll go right over Chao!}

With a run Niph was next to the barn where the sounds of grumpy cows could be heard. You can see men and young women carrying buckets of milk to and from the barn.

Etching a little closer one of the men notice her, “Whoa there kid! Why you over here?”

Niph was a little shaken but stiffened up, “I-I’m one of the adventurers coming to kill the Goblins.”

“Oh!” His voice once stirn was now closer, but much softer. Coming out was a man of average built who seemed to be well into his 40s. A gruff beard adorned his face as he got a better look at Niph, “Arn’t you a little young kid? I mean, you got that weird sword but really?”

Niph respond in confidence, not the least bit offended, “Nn, I’m strong enough to kill Goblins.”

“Well thats a good thing then.” The man smiled upon hearing it, “I guess I should just count my lucky stars then and tell Neva she was wrong about you all.” He started to make his way into the field, “Come on kid, I’ll show you what I know.”

Niph followed in kind, the man lead you two to a bare spot among the field. Looking around, dry blood was scattered about. He spoke with a depressed tone, “The bastards nailed quite a few of my herd. Luckily they’ve yet to get my girls.” He opened his arms, “You can do what you want kid. I just want them gone before my home gets nailed to a coffin.”

Niph nodded her head slowly, “When do they usually come?”

“Every other day. Just long enough to clean up their mess and get a good milking in.” He kicked at the dirt, “They went through a two nights ago, so they might come again tonight.”

Niph looked around the bare ground, “Do you know how many times they’ve raided your cows?”

The man just sighed, “About three times I think. Bastards have been hitting other’s stuff though, they’ve just hommed onto my place this last week.”

“Nn, thanks sir.”

“Your welcome kid, give them a good killing.”

“Nn! I will sir!”

With that Niph ran back to the Inn, grabbing both LeFay who was busy working on her book and Europe as she was finishing her morning prayer. Europe was a little surprise but LeFay was expecting nothing less from the active Niph. It was not too long before they came back to the bloodied field that Niph was brought to.

“So,” LeFay started, “This is where most of the attacks happened?”

“Nn.” Niph gave a nod, “We should go in and clear them now. We need to contain them before we have another Cottage Night.”

Europe’s eyes widen at the mention of their failure but LeFay spoke in a ruthless tone, “If we can contain them it should be much safer.”

“Nn,” Niph walked over to where the plants and such were trampled, “I think we can follow this.”

With that the group went their ways towards the Goblins Nest. The trail, while windy was still fresh with the little rain the areas had. The forest small unlike Niph’s time in her parent’s home, but you could tell it was nearing the wilderness. The forest floor was covered in leaves and there would be wild animals wondering about. It was only because of the fair weather that the trail stayed visible.

When they came across it there was not much cover, the cave obvious with even a tree growing on top of it. There were three of them guarding the post with one on a wolf. The moment the party approached the three bastards caught sight and readied their weapons.

As the Goblins rapidly approached, Niph took aim at the one riding the Wolf. It was shot without mercy with a bullet through its heart and fell without isse, the wolf diverting from the fight with newly found freedom.

LeFay took aim with her Heavy Crossbow while using the Tower Shield as her cover. She pulled the lever, striking one of the approaching Goblins through the heart with a bolt of wood and metal. As the death cry came from the Goblins, LeFay’s ring glowed a sinister color as the sentient creature was killed as sacrifice.

Europe herself held out aLong Bow and arrow, hands a little shaky at the aspect of ending a life for the first time. The Goblin realsied its allies were dead and was trying to flee for the cave now. It did not however as Europe struck its back with an arrow and it body fell to the ground without much fanfare.

Niph gulped for a breath of air that she didn’t know she was holding. LeFay as well breathed a sigh of relief, “That… worked.”

Europe was squirming a little wondering what was happening as Niph gave an answer, “Nn… We should be careful.”

Seeing his comrades dying the Hob ran towards the group with a new found fiurry, putting him up to Niph as he tried to crush her with his club. The attack connected, but it only left a bruise to the confusion of the Bastard.

The others made their way too, three of them attacking LeFay while the last on Europe. One was able to strike in the chink of her armor directly into her hips and causing a grave injury. The other two tried the but wizard fended them off with her Tower Shield in hand. The last Goblin chased after Europe, only for him to fall over the hill and into the shallow drop as she ducked from his jump.

Niph readied you, firing into the Hobgoblin’s melee and almost provoking an attack of opportunity. The bastard however died with a severe wound to the gut as you willed the bullet to curve, cleaning up the ones around LeFay.

The three of you turn to see a worried Europe as she targeted the now standing Goblin. The arrow however struck through his skull even as she did not look at the target.

“AHH!” LeFay cried in pain, dropping her shield and holding her wounded side, “Niph! Get me the Antidote!”

Niph’s eyes widen to the cry of her friend. She rushed over and quickly fed a drink into LeFay’s helmet, the groans of pain only leaving as she casted her healing cantrips into the standing LeFay’s body.

Europe ran over and watch in horror as LeFay rubbed the healed stab wound,”Uh, uh, uh, are you okay Miss LeFay.”

“Yeah,” The wizard picked up her shield, “That… That happens a lot Europe.” LeFay started to walk the wound off, “I’m... getting used to being stabbed.”

The girl just watched in surprise as LeFay picked up her shield, Niph gave her friend a warily cheered look, “I’ve healed you up LeFay!”

Niph was raped, she was with them for a week.

Niph and her mother were under the condition 'Helpless' which meant they were brought to zero and lost their ability to fight back. Even their draining kiss would not have worked under that condition.

Reason Niph never had a Gob child is because she was too young. She literally couldn't have one so the Gobs just fucked her mother to death. Yeah, fuck a Succubus to death... it can happen I swear!
>>
They followed the cave with a lit torch and dancing shadows upon the walls. LeFay was to the back of the group carrying the torch for her and Europe. It was decided Europe would stay in the center much to her distress, but was told Goblins have a hard on for flanking exterminators. Niph was up front, prepared to shoot anything that came up and using her Dark Vision and training to watch for traps.

Her training was worth it as she directed the group to avoid a pit. Looking down it there seemed to be a corpse of some poor fellow impaled on a pike, he was dressed in farmer’s clothing and must have been from another village.

It was after the pit that Niph raised her hand in a commanding fashion “Stop LeFay.”

The torch bearer stopped and pointed the fork forward, light showing on the fork in the road.

Niph bent onto the floor, using her keen sight to view the floor, “I… see a lot of blood going left and goblins going right LeFay.”

With that the party went their way over. Nothing much was seen, but the smell got more and more rancid with the smell of decomposing flesh. When they breached the chamber Europe threw up as the sight of rotting human and animal flesh was scattered about the room.

Niph aimed down her sights the moment she saw the group of creatures, releasing a shot into the crowd. Four of the Goblins were instantly struck down from a single bullet you sewed into the group, followed by both LeFay and Europe firing their projectiles into the remaining two for the kills.

The wolves looked around for a moment, suddenly caught in a fight. Their ferals eyes seemed to rip into the lightly armor Europe and they dashed in order to get as close as possible. As they went by, Niph grazed one with your blade as an attack of opportunity.

When they got there, Niph fired a bullet that took out a non-vital rib. The creatures thought they were home free until LeFay released a round of Magic Missiles that tore the two asunder.

Europe stood there for a second before she shook her head and straightened up. Niph grew a smile as she watched, “You getting better Europe?”

“Y-yeah.”

LeFay looked at the piles of corpses, drawing out a short sword from an unusual pile of gear, “Hey Europe, take this.”

Europe accepted the sword with widened eyes but followed as Niph and LeFay walked down the tunnel into the right facing tunnel.

They walked further down the cave. The erosion of the tunnel slowly easing, allowing the group to see the blacked marks of dirt and stone that were blasted away to form the tunnel.

There were a number of traps though, many luckily easy to avoid like a snare and tightened rope. They were however elementary as the Goblin’s intelligence does not count for much else.

So the group came to a massive room, big enough to house a huge creature and a little bit more.

Peering in, there were a number of women strung about the room with Goblins having their time with them. Europe was luckily getting use to the mess, so she only attempted to throw up when LeFay was there to stop her.

For the Goblins there was about 3 Hobs hanging about. They were the ones having a grandious time while the 10 or so normal Goblins were forced to carry the women to a small pen in the back.

Besides the pens there is not much in terms of structures, the Goblins just care about keeping their breeding stock contained.

>What's your tactic?

Summon a monster and Sound Burst the Hobgoblins.

Niph and team head back just a tad out of sight in the tunnel at the bend. Niph uses Summon Monster II 1d3 to draw them away from the girls and when they get close Niph uses sound burst. LeFay casts Glitterdust to blind the goblins and Europe shoots things with her bow since I don't know her spells idk maybe give Niph divine favor?

With a flick of her hand Niph sent out a small owl towards the Hobs. They were too into thrusting into the captives that only when the bird struck one of them in the eye that they started to move.

The bastard swiped at the bird with his hand, the bird taking a nice hit but soon it lead his about the room. The bird annoying his like a mosquito would a human, leading the others to laugh at him when he started throwing clubs at the owl.

It was not long after a few strikes that the bird drove him along with his hob brothers in an angry rage. Being annoyed at such a fun time has caused them to chase the nimble owl as the smaller Goblins laughed at their superiors stupidity.

It was not long till the Owl lead them into your group, Niph the first to Fire into a giant, though the bullet stopped in his gut. Europe fired as well, striking the annoyed one in the gut with a nice shot.

Seeing her opportunity with he hobs grouped, LeFay conjured a large ball of flaming power in her hand. A moment later she released it into the ambushed Hobs leave only one standing as his kin dropped to the ground.

The other Goblins stopped laughing when they saw the Fireball, grabbing their weapons in hopes to rid their nest of the exterminators

The Goblins started to drop their fuck toys and grab weapons, but before the bodies hit the ground Niph had fired two separate shots. The pair of deathly metals traveled through the air and swiftly culled their mass. Once there was 10 Goblins standing, now only 4 were while the others suffered from destroyed hearts or blown out brains. All 6 Goblins were dead within the matter of a moment.

Taking her turn to step forward, LeFay fired a turret of Magic Missiles, three of them striking into a pair, killing one in the process while gravely injuring the other.

Europe held her shot however as the Goblins started to bury themselves beneath the bodies of the women, creating for themselves makeshift cover in an attempt to stave death. This attempt however did not defend against the reality bending bullets and sheer skill as the metal wrapped around, striking each of the Goblins with brutal efficiency. Their numbers were culled within only 12 seconds, only the groans of women and a barfing Europe as a testament to their feeble existence.

Damn dude. There's a lot of people in this quest that tend to blush. The narrative could use a bit of polishing too.

>The last Goblin chased after Europe, only for him to fall over the hill and into the shallow drop as she ducked from his jump.
Did we kill that one?

>Yeah, fuck a Succubus to death... it can happen I swear!
I've never heard of a bigger lie in my life.

Did you remember to calculate the cost of all of our supplied and deduct it from out total muny pile? Did you also remember to remove an antidote and torch since we used them?

Will we get a chance to retrieve all the human corpses? I think we might be able to squeeze out some "thank you" money from anyone related to the dead 'uns.

Oh god, please don't let this confirm
>>
Niph and LeFay started their walk through the room of the cave, each checking the women who were strung out along the floor. Europe followed suit as she finally emptied her stomach, following Niph while trying her best not to give another heave.

After Niph casted a healing cantrip on the body Europe finally spoke up, “A-are they going to be okay?”

Niph shrugged her shoulders in a kiddish manner, “I don’t know Europe. They might be broken like Mama.” The girl's body that Niph was treating, no younger than Europe herself, relaxed as health was finally restored to it.

Europe’s shoulders drooped, “Oh…”

“Europe.” Niph stared at the girl, “We purge the Goblins because they are a very evil creature. Remember what these girls went through.”

While Europe was mulling over the implications, Niph went around and tried her best to care for the girls on the ground. When they were accounted for, about 6 total, the party went over and explored the small structure.

The rancid smell wafted their noses, Europe’s fortitude finally growing to stand the stench. Inside there was shit everywhere with women strung around the walls like livestock in a slaughter house. Some were obviously dead, their stomachs seemingly sliced open in some bizzare C-section. Others were hung with their bellies in various forms of pregnancy with their shit just piled up underneath them from a lack of cleaning.

The sounds of young swine reached Niph’s demonic ears though. She made her way over to one of the more rancid corpses, removing it to find its back was eaten into. There was a hole that seemed recently excavated with about 15 goblin children standing there with whatever they could find, trying their best to fend against the invaders.

They were however helpless.

“Purge the Green Cancer. Bleed it out for the purifying rot and rats.”

LeFay looked down solemnly as Europe heard the sounds of pigs in a mass slaughter. Sounds of a blade slicing and the gushing of blood ran through the cave. Europe, the poor blessed girl, grew a small bit of morbid curiosity as she perred into the entrance. What she saw was the red eyes of Niph, the priestesses torch revealing the carcasses of the young vermin.

Niph gave the priestess a bright smile that only a child on christmas who received her favorite presents from Santa, “I’ve finished purging them Europe! Lets get the girls together and leave!”

Niph just passed the mortified girl without issue or care, Europe wondering for a second if she saw a Demon or the Angel of Death.

Europe is now level 2 and is not dead. You've found 50 gp among the cropses with about 15 women total, 9 pregnant with Goblinoid children.

Here they are. I like them so we will just roll with it.

Confirm Criting

When a crit is rolled, the next role will be used to test weather the crit ‘Confirms’.

>>For Nat 20s, the next roll is another attempt at hitting the enemy’s AC. If you succeed, the damage is doubled for the coming update. If it misses the AC, the round will just be confirmed hits without extra damage and effects.

>>For Nat 1s, the next roll is to avoid numbers 1-5. If any of the numbers in this range are struck, it will count as a critical failure. Otherwise, it will not be counted due to Best of Three rule.

>>>If the roll that crits is the last of the three, the previous roll is used. Examples:

1,3,15: This roll is a critical failue

5,17,20: AC 14 This roll is a critical success

10,1,20: AC 21 This roll hits, but is neither a critical failure nor a critical success.

Shit, we should have gotten a Bag of Holding. Welp, I guess we can get some summons to carry the corpses.
But that's a lot of women, it may take more than one trip to get them out if they can't walk.
Should we have Niph fly back to the village and ask for some help?
>Europe is now level 2 and is not dead.
That's really good. It may be a good time to mention that Europe's namesake is know for being kidnapped by Zeus in bull form and subsequently raped. Hopefully it won't come to that.

We could drag all the corpses to the entrance and leave them for the villagers to pick up. We'll take as many as we can back and leave the rest to the village.

lets just get the living out asap leave the dead for now, there are still goblins in this cave now is not the time to be celebratory. once we get out double time to town, rally up a pose, the reaction of the people to the captives will be strong, and we can leverage that.(some may die but it is for a greater good)

Gonna be honest I thought killing goblins would be a less than lucrative business for us since in the Goblin Slayer canon and probably most others in fantasy settings when regarding peasants, goblin slaying jobs don't pay much since the ones who are forking over money are the peasants / farmers?
Most might earn more from what the find off from goblin hoarding than from the job themselves. That's my guess.
>>
>>3215454
Most were collected from the corpses of dead fighters. Also I don't really know how much to give.

In the end this place was obviously a better off village with a guy losing ~75gp every three nights.

The Party spent the rest of their afternoon organizing the items and people of the cave. They were lucky not to have any goblin stragglers, so they led a majority of the women to the front of the cave with the bodies of the fallen.

For the women, a majority of them were of sane mind. After the initial healing by Niph and Europe, they came to their dulled senses. The few that were not strong were small, enough to just give them a shoulder. Now they were traveling through the forest, Niph supporting a girl only two years her senior.

You could feel the irritation of Niph though, of course not at the girl she was carrying. No, Niph would occasionally snatch a glance at the inflated stomach. Inside the partially brain dead girl was a Goblin child, which seemed to grind on Niph.

{I know what you are thinking Niph, but we can’t do anything about it.}

You could feel her tighten, realizing she was caught, {Chao, what should I do about them. I must purge them all.}

You think to yourself for a moment, {There has to be some way to kill it without hurting the girl. I… know many ways exist from where I’m from.}

Niph sounded like a beggar, {Can’t we use them Chao!}

You were curt and harsh in your response, {I don’t know how to do it Niph. We can’t even do half of them without impossible equipment.}

The Girl on Niph’s shoulder started to move more as she lost support, {oh…}

{Niph, remember out mission, ‘To purge the world of their filth.’ If we go around hurting the victims without proper knowledge we might as well be them.}

Niph’s head dropped, {You… you’re right Chao. I’m… sorry.}

Hearing her resignation you decide to act, {It doesn’t mean we can’t learn. If they a so bad there must be some way to remove them magically. Who knows, maybe LeFay can make something.}

NIph seemed to cheer up a little, {Really?}

You kind of feel bad for putting the girl on the spot but its for Niph, {Yeah, but lets check with the clergy first. They deal with these kinds of things most of the time.}

{Nn!}

With that Niph and the party returned to the village with the women in tow. The look on the milkman’s face was priceless as you brought to them the massive amount of women.

Soon it was night as the local church helped settle everyone in. The Clergy man was busy taking care of the women to pay Niph any heed. She even hanged out for a few hours, only to help the man get together beds from the generous neighbors. What caught your ears however was that none of these women were from the village.

That did not stop you from encouraging Niph and the party from having a hearty night of drink though. There was not really anything against children drinking alcohol, there was always the need to sterilize the drink since magic was too precious to waste on purifying water. So in celebration of Europe surviving the first day on the job, a night of drinking was in order!

The night started rolling with a mug of beer for everyone to celebrate Europe's survival. While LeFay and Europe started their drinking a little sheepishly, Niph actually liked the taste of it. She was downing on her 3rd cup while the others were only halfway through their first.

While at first you were a little worried about Niph coming into a drunken stupor, it was to your ever increasing surprise she was not getting drunk or even buzzed. The others, seeing as the little girl was beating them and not taking a hit from the drink started to have a little more.

It was after her forth that one of the old men from earlier came up with a sword on his belt, “You’re holding your drink pretty well kid, but shouldn’t you be slowing down?”

You realize what was happening and decided to give Niph some weapons. The next words that came from her mouth was of your orchestration, “I can hold my drink sir. I bet I could drink you under the table!”

The old man blinked. Then he blinked again. Then he grew a grin, “Strong words kid. I might be older than ya, but I’m sure I can hold it better than you could.”

“Fufufu,” Niph laughed a little as she finally caught on to your plan, “Sir, why don’t you prove it! Let’s have a contest and see who can drink the most.”

The man lifted a brow but his grin never left his face, “You can try me kid, but I guarantee you are going to lose.”

So they moved to the table of old men, the ax man leaning into his friend's ear. You could hear words like ‘really dominic’ and ‘she asked for it’.

The ax man shook his head as he carried over about 6 drinks from the bar. He placed them between the two competitors, “Okay kids,” Dominic and Niph chuckled at the obvious stab, “Whoever could drink their first three beers before the other finishes will win. Understood?”

The swordbearing old man gave Niph an inquisitive eye, “You sure you wanna do this kid?”

“Nn! I’ll drink ya down!”

The Ax man sighed at the childish banter but raised his hand. “Begin!” The hand came down, chopping through the air so fast it seemed to break from attack.

Dominic the challenged lifted his drink to his mouth with carelessness, not even caring for his opponent as he just sipped it. When he placed the finished mug on the table, he watched as Niph wiped the beer from her smiling face next to three cups of finished drink.

“What the-”

Niph gave herself a cheer by lifted the empty cups in the air for all to see, “I win! I win!” Her celebration childish.

The two old men shared looks of disbelief at the strange occurrence. It was only by a curse from Dominic that his voice reinvigorated, “I went easy on ya kid. Another match, I didn’t think you had the stomach.”

“Fufufu,” Niph laughed evilly, “That one was a free one Sir. Next try is going to cost you.”

“So you wanna bet?” the man placed a silver coin on the table, “I’ll teach you a lesson kid.”

Part one of who know how many.
>>
About two hours later was when Niph defeated her last opponent. Standing at her side was Europe, at the ready to take care of the little girl out of worry. Honestly though you realized what that Poison Immunity on her card really meant, the only thing that would hinder the girl was her bladder when it came to drinking.

Looking up You and Niph could see a slightly flushed Europe. It seemed that when she got buzzed, her shy demeanor crumbled a little bit. while the girl was still recluse, now the priestess had no qualms about staying around Niph as she drank men into submission.

Since she was staying around for the long run it seemed Niph decided to ask her the question, “Hey Europe, why did you become an adventurer?”

The buzzed girl squirmed a little bit, “M-me!?”

“Nn!” Niph gave her a charming smile, “Why did you become an adventurer, Europe?”

“Oh well…” While buzzed, the girl still held herself in a conservative manner, “I wanted to help people I guess.” A sheepish smile adorned her face.

“Really? But couldn’t you work for the Church then?”

The girl started to slur a little, “Wellll, I just wanted to become like… a Saint.”

Niph tilted her head a little, “A Saint?”

“Yeah,” The girl sat in the open chair since the occupant fell to the floor, “You see… when a Cleric blessed by the gods proves his might in battle, follow's the God's teachings, and shows compassion for the every man he can becomes a Saint.” The girl’s eyes started to wonder the room of either merry men or those who couldn’t beat Niph, “If I become a Saint, I can keep helping people even after I die.”

You were getting confused from her drunken stupor. Like you expected so was Niph, “Like a holy ghost?”

“No no.” The girl shook her head, “You see, a Saint’s remains will heal the weak and bless warriors with a God’s favor. If Mortain allowed me, I could even enter the world like an Angel.” The girl's eyes becoming sparkly at those words.

Just listening you realized it was kind of odd, but it made sense. Simply put, they were basically Mortal Angel Ghost things that were blessed by a God. Maybe if they got a bone or two Niph could convince them to bring divine retribution to Goblins.

Niph continued the conversation, “Europe, why did you join us?”

The girl straightened herself, now a little more sobre then the drunken ramblings of Sainthood, “Eh? W-what was that Niph?”

Niph tilted her head a little, “Why did Europe join me and LeFay. Rosey said we were no good so why did you?”

“Oh…” The Priestess seemed struck, “I, uh, uh…” She twittled her thumbs, “C-could you promise not to laugh or charge me with heresy Niph.” The words comdng out a little out of aggravation and worry.

“I wouldn’t so that to you Europe! I asked you to join, I care about you!” Niph buffing her cheeks a little in protest.

“Oh, thanks…” Her eyes darted all over the place in worry, “I, uh… You kind of felt like an… Angel I guess.” She started to freak out, “I, uh, felt like, um, Mortain wanted, um-”

Niph grabbed onto the girls shoulders, Europe’s tensing shoulders relaxed a tiny bit.

You can almost always feel Niph’s desires ever since you attuned to the girl. She was conflicted right now, since telling Europe would give her great joy. But could you two really trust her like you do LeFay?

Before the decision was made LeFay came running over and grabbing onto Niph. She wrapped her arms around the Niphilim's head and smothered Niph into her still developing bosom. All this was to your twos surprise as the girl started to throw drunken slurs, “Gheet awaaay from meh ya git!”

Since they returned from town LeFay was wearing civilian clothing with an old chain shirt underneath. You had to admit she looked a little cute in them, which doubled for the man who was chasing her to the spot, “Wh-who’s that Dearry!”

“Sheees meh Dughter ya feek.” Her gip tightening and crushing Niph’s head into the not so soft chain mailed breast, “Neehow get away from uhhs yha goot befur eyees make yeh allda charry and sheet.”

The man, who was drunk was caught between a rock and a hard place. It wasn’t until you started to wiggle that the man counted his losses and left.

Of course Niph was surprised, “L-LeFay! What happened to you!?”

LeFay gave a burrp, “Issss whas drinkin with yeah victams Niphy. Behore I new itd hed was oogalin meh. Meh and them mehn said feeeuk im and he lef. Then he cam bac, fuckier sead he whass wealky and sheet. Meh said bull sheet an my Daddies woul kill im. {Hey Niph, lets get her upstairs. LeFay is… drunk.}

Niph nodded and started to lead the drunken LeFay upstairs with Europe in tow. They were able to get the chain shirt of the drunken girl with dificulty, barely prying her off Niph’s head. Right after though Neither of them could overwhelm LeFay’s grip so Niph accepted her fate. After asking Europe to leave, Niph became LeFay’s teddy bear for the night.

I'll be on a lot more tomorrow so pay attention to this thread. My classes just got canceled due to below 0 temps. If we go fast enough, I might do the Space Marine/DxD one-shot over the weekend and halfway through the week. Still, I'm happy we are going at such a fast rate, about 150 posts in two days and 26 pages on my Google doc. Fucking hell I wrote a lot but my skills are improving nicely.

Actually, if you guys want give some customization ideas for that quest please give it. I've figured you can have your pick from Standard Armor -> Dreadnought for shenanigans but after that I don't have much of an idea. Thing is you are going to be a Blood Raven Librarian so put other chapters shit in the idea jar.

The sun was breaking the horizon when LeFay stirred from her slumber, much to your surprise. A small murmur of pain was enough for the wizard to release Niph, who quickly took the opportunity to escape from her somewhat comfortable prison.

Light flooded the room as LeFay instinctually grabbed the covers. Niph was about to shake her before you told her the Wizard was just recovering from last night. You didn't really expect the girl to recover easily, even if this world seemed to ran on different rules when it came to human biology.

Since it seems the morning will be of recovery you decided Niph could do what she wanted. That of course led to you two being in front of the Church. Damn though, the girl seems to really hate goblins to attempt in getting trained twice now.

Walking through the plain wood door you and Niph could see a man sitting in front of the altar, he was murmuring a prayer that seemed to consist of keeping the women safe. A few steps in and the man was standing with a smile on his face, “Ah, the one who brought the Children to my care! Is your morning coming along well?”

“Nn.” Niph nodded to it, “My party is recovering from the celebration yesterday.”

The man gave an understanding smile and courteous smile, “Well I pray to Helios that they get better. I do ask though, why have you visited my Chaple?”

Niph placed her hand under her chin, “I was wondering how you can abort the Goblin without hurting the women.”

The man’s eyebrows furrowed, “Oh, that’s an odd request. Adventurers are not suppose to worry about such things.”

“I’m not asking as an adventurer sir,” Niph eyes glowed a little in ambition, “I’m asking because I want to purge all the filth from the world. If one of them escapes or someone doesn’t kill it they will come back and it will never end.”

“Oh.” It was obvious the man was worried about her, “You do not need to worry about such things child, just bring them to the local Clergy for treatment.”
>>
The man seemed to have more will than Niph’s charisma with Niph’s building anger. Though there was something else Niph had on the man that could make him talk no matter how stubborn he was.

Niph reached into her backpack and brought out the Inquisitorial Badge of Dragos, the center of it glowing a deep red. The man’s face was at first confused then to horror, the realization he just denied an Inquisitor.

“For someone so young,” he murmured before he straightened himself, “I, uh, guess I can explain it to you miss Inquisitor.”

Niph nodded to the cornered man who was scratching the back of his head in worry. Realizing Niph was waiting for him to continue he spoke if a bit forced, “I… don’t really approve of these methods. I will just kill the creatures when they are born myself, but the more zelot will do it much earlier.”

He took a swallow, “One could use a curse on the Mother, one that makes her infertile and killing the child within. It is a costly endeavor even if the curse is willed away from the caster. Though it’s the safest as the Goblin just turns to dust without undue pain. Others might include casting inflict wound on the person, the necrotic magics killing the Goblin. This however leaves the corpse unless a spell slot is used which even then leaves part of the corpse.” He looked a little horrified, but calmed down somewhat.

Being the moment to practice her Inquisitorial technique she continued, “Nn, is that all?”

The man grew a little antsy, “Well, some just… punch the victim and heal them after. I must say it’s the worst one yet though.”

Niph gave him a smile, “Thank you sir!” She placed the Rosette back into her bag, “I hope the girls get better soon!”

“Yeah…” The man’s shoulders drooping in defeat, “Thanks to your party.” He tried his best to stand up straight, “I hope your adventurers lead you to clearer skies Inquisitor.”

Niph started her leave for the door, “Oh and sir,” Niph began as she neared the door, “Go to the Goblin cave, there's a bunch of corpses to be buried!”

The two of you left before you could see his reaction.

After Niph’s time at the church she rounded up both LeFay and Europe so they could travel to the next village.

Niph followed the directions on the quest sheet, continuing on the now windy path that is the river. The gravel road soon turned to a dirt road, if very define and used. The forest seemed to encroach on the road, getting closer and tighter around the war carriage.

As they traveled, Niph watched a couple of carts go by, the people looking sad or depressed as they traveled in the other direction. Niph however pushed forward.

As the party traveled, you looked in more detail the requests you received from the guild.

One is from the milk man earlier. It said that they were attacking his cattle and he wanted them dead, the reward was about 50 gp, making it quite the sum for a Goblin Extermination.

The second was from a small village that held a bridge. The bridge was a valuable as any transportation from the south of the river would go over the bridge, becoming one of the few ways to access the southern marshes. The village’s request, which was at the start of the fair, said Goblins were raiding their food storage. Reward: 30 GP

The third was a son of a southern farmer who came in during the fair. He said that their farm was being raided by a horde, targeting mostly his livestock but he fears the worst. Reward: 10 GP.

The last was a small village that served as the farthest most village. Its request was actually before the fair, saying how the Goblins were attacking their houses and doing as much damage to their properties as possible. Being a small village, they could only scrap up about 15 GP.

With these in hand you and Niph came upon the small village mentioned in the requests. Getting a better look of the land, you two notice how the place looks like it had it rough. Coming there many of the fences are damaged and the whiff of grain went through your noses. It was then you noticed their buildings that were holding grain were busted into, seeds spilled all over the ground.

Looking about the people are busy repairing the damages. Most of them though look pretty good, no moaning of injured people about. If anything they seemed ticked of about it all.

There seems to be a few people you could talk to, one being a person who was clearing out what looked like a destroyed pouch roof. There is also a house with a wall around it, obvious that its some home for nobility. The last you could tell is a smith whos currently fashioning a large ax head.

Let's ask them if they have an idea of how many goblins were there and if there were any hob-goblins. Let's also examine the damage they did to all the property. Did they use brute force, did they have any tools or shamans, etc.
Oh and ask the Smith if he could make us ballistas bolts. I'm not sure how many we have, but it can't hurt to have more.

On your suggestion, Niph drove the cart to where the man was working. The repair man was quite big for your average man, his muscle were evenly toned and it was obvious that he had battle experience from the scars. What surprised you was watching as the man gripped into the down roof and with great effort quite literally tore the fallen roof from the rest of the building.

You watched as he was dragged the mass of wood and thatcher away, only to stop when he noticed Niph who was sitting on the carriage. His face was filled with surprise but he gave a wave, “Hello there, are you by chance the adventurers we sent for?”

“Nn! Yes we are sir!” Niph gave him a toothy reply as she jumped from the carriage, “We wanted to ask you a few things before we went out.”

“Do ya now?” The man said quite cheerily, “So what do you wanna know?”

Niph gave him a curt nod before starting, “Uh, what happened? The quest said the Goblins were just raiding supplies.”

The man grew a little vein, “Well, they changed after Sam left to deliver the request. Fuckers will come in just about every night and break shit. Though now they’ve taken out our grain storage, I’m just glad you and your party are here kid.”

Niph gave him a thanks before continuing, “So how many do you think came through? Were there any Hobs or Shamans?”

“Well,” The man went into deep thought, “I think about 10 normally come through every night. If your talking the big ones, only last night with a bunch of little guys following. We were patrolling the village when he came in with a ram and tore through our food storage. Ran over and that's when they hit the houses.”

Niph tilted her head, “So you’ve been watching for them?”

“Well of course,” The man’s eyes lit with fury, “But them fucks won't face us directly, if we guard our food they hit the houses and the other damn way around!”

“Nn, do you know where they are coming from?”

“Yeah, from the North.”

The group was now traveling by carriage towards the north. Since the town basically acted as a frontier nexus town, traveling towards the north was as easy as taking a road. It didn’t really help the Goblins though as they literally left a trails of grain which was basically a bread trail.

LeFay and Europe fully recovered from the night before. LeFay blushed when she saw Niph, saying a quick sorry before getting out her spell book and studying it. Europe was using her tarrot cards, practicing her fortune telling by the will of her lord.

It was at this point that you and Niph caught sight of something in the woods. The creature was obvious when it stirred in the grass, a Goblin and Wolf. They seemed to be sleeping on the job, but what was their job.

As Niph raised her gun you realize something, {Hey Niph, can you keep that Goblin alive?}

Niph’s response was childish, {W-why Chao? I wanna kill it.}

{You can kill it later, but don’t you understand what they are saying?}

The girl tilted her head a little, {Nn, I do. They always say I’m puny body or flat as a fish though Chao.}

{Well remember what you did to the priest. You can torture the Goblin into giving you info about his nest.}

Niph’s eyes widened, {Oh! I wanna do that! That’s my class!}

With the feeling of what is likely fulfillment, Niph fired a bullet towards the two creatures. The attack went through one of the Goblin’s arms, destroying it completely and leaving the filth to drop on the floor without even switching states of mind. The bullet however pierced his mount, the wolf howling and jumping up from the pain. To both of yours’ surprise, the wolf actually came at Niph as she fired another shot into it. You could hear LeFay, who heard the fighting and quickly grabbed her crossbow, firing a bolt towards the beast with much haste with a sad miss.

It came into melee range, forcing Niph to slice into its neck with your bladed edge. This action killed it, clearing the way to the Goblin.

Niph jumped off the carriage with LeFay quickly coming out with her armor to bear. LeFay was quick on the catch up and spoke, “Niph! What just happened?”

“Oh,” Niph had LeFay walk beside her and pointed at where the Goblin currently is, “Goblin was sleeping and seemed like a look out. Chao gave a great idea though, we could interrogate it!”

LeFay sounded a little skeptical, “Interrogate a Goblin?”

“Nn!” Niph nodded her head, “I can understand them, so I will use what I learned from my class to get the truth!”

LeFay tilted her head, “Oh, so you inherited that from your Succubus mother?”

Niph gave a toothy smile, “Nn!”

They came across the Goblin, an arm obliterated but he was still breathing, “Well, how do you wanna do this Niph?”

The three of you approached the Goblin, Niph flicking her wrist to summon the Zone of Truth that emcompased both themselves and the bastard. After tying the creature up, another flick and his body slowly knitted itself together.

When you get a better look at the creature, you notice a few weird things about him. For one he seemed better fed than other Goblins, his stomach not bloating and bones bare to see. Across his body he also had what you could guess as chemical burns. Honestly you’re not sure how you knew that, just that his hide was covered in spots where the skin almost seemed to melt.

The creature stirred awake, his goat like eyes darting between them. HE started to scream before Niph sliced at a piece of his skin, “Talk you skum. How many of you patrol”

The creature blinked for a moment before smiling and saying a bunch of corroded gibberish. It blurted a shitty laugh before Niph once again carved into the Goblin’s skin.

Niph’s eyes started to glow red, “Again, how many are on patrol.”

The creature gave a feral scream. It started to act as if begging only for Niph to further drive it in. That's when the creature started to talk.

So they traded banter, the Goblin screams and feral speech to Niph’s questions. Honestly I don’t have the time to write it. Here are the results

>60 ish Goblins

Sweet Jesus a dragon. I want to know how big is it. That's real fucking important to know.

I still want to know if there are any patrols, scouts or other wandering goblins. What spells does the shamans know? Is this goblin the only one out here? I also want to know why he has chemical burns, looks more healthy than the other goblins, and if there are more than one entrance to their nest. What does their nest look like and where is it located? I smell some plot hooks.....that or his chemical burns.
If we're gonna do something, we better do it clean and right. I do not want to lose Europe right after she leveled up to level two.

not a bad idea. they'll probably have leave a chunk of their guys back in their nest, so it'll be easier for us to attack them.
>>
>>3218547
Or a better play might be poisoning the food the goblins intend to steal. As Idk how our party of three will be able to take on such a hoard alone. No matter how I look at it, we will be boned if we don't use extreme cunning.
>>
>>3218580
You guys commonly kill hordes of about 30 Gobs
>>
>>3218612
Still. I want to be smart about it. I say we stand back around 120 so feet (that the range limit for cross bows and regular bows?) from the cave and start shooting them as the come out. That way it'll them 2-3 rounds to reach us as we pepper them with bullets and arrows. Thanks to our recent gun upgrade, we'll be able to whittle them down even more.
Then after the hoard of gobbos stop pouring out we can summon creatures to go in the sweep the place ahead of us as we follow behind.
>>
>>3218612
Ok fair we do but. The first we almost died and our tank went Leroy. The second was manageable since they were scattered and luck crit. But this is double the number with an unknown enemy that might be a dragon. With double the hobs, we are used to with also two spellcasters. This is going to be a dangerous and brutal fight.
>>
>>3218666
We need more people mostly
Or smoke them out into ambushes?
>>
>>3218612
In that case, we should get some local talent and set up an ambush for the raiding party to remove some of their numbers.
>>
So the question is
>Set up an ambush to kill a Goblin Raiding Party

>Go in and kill the horde at the cave.

The cave by the way is a two entrance one. Goblin said that Scaly Boss opened up another side but reserved it for his own use as its directly up.

Basically an escape route for a Dragon.
>>
>>3219013
>Set up an ambush to kill a Goblin Raiding Party

Find a place to position the ballista so it's got a height advantage. It's gotta be able to be aimed within the town and across the river. Put something over it to hide it until we're ready. See if anyone in town is proficient with it.
When the goblins enter, the town, cast Glitterdust. These are goblins we're talking about so a majority should fail their Will saves.

The sun has started to settle into the horizon as the people got into positions. Luckily Niph was able to get a majority of able body men and women moving after she told them of the impending invasion. This meant there was about 20 people armed with wooden spears and axes who were prepared for the assault.

“I pray this will be a good night little miss!” The hulk of a man was doing practice swings with his spear, “The bastards will pay for invading my village!”

“Nn, mister Barbarian man!” Niph said with a bit of joy, “Uh, could you hide in the tree line?”

The man looked like he was betrayed, “Hide in the trees? Do you mistaken me as a flimsy elf?”

“No sir,” Niph went for the happy tone, “You will be able to attack their backs and purge more of their filth!”

“Killing more of them?” the man grew a small smile, “I guess that could work. Yeah, let’s do that!” The man ran for the tree line, now invisible to Niph as he prepared for the attack.

Niph looked at the Carriage that was resting next to a house, hay spread all over it to provide cover. She gave the two housing in it a thumbs out and received an armored one in return.

With that Niph ran into the trees that overlooked the trail. Making sure no one was around, Niph opened her wings and went for the tallest tree. Now poised for battle, they waited.

You have 10 people in the village and another 10 in the tree line. Most are either level one to five, though that's in their profession. Basically they have the HP and To Hit of a wizard.

You and NIph watch from above as the Goblins come in a staggering fashion. Most of them are armed with shivs, clubs, and torches. About 8 hobs are carrying shields with women strapped to them. They wandered through the trail like a mob, disorganized and occasionally taking shots from one another.

As the back came into view, NIph could see a pair of Goblins dressed in robes. One was casting spells upon one of the hobs, making him the Shaman and the hob is his bodyguard.

When the creatures reached the city, they made a mad sprint for the village. The teams placed into the village were too far as one group of Goblins set fire to a home, though said goblins were struck by arrows and ballista bolts.

There was no sign of a dragon, something you suspected was leading the Goblins. Since the battle has started Niph opened fire upon the Horde, her bullets tearing through Goblins. The Ambushers went for the attack as well, though they couldn’t hammer the Goblins out because there were so many.

Before Niph could react to anything, the smell of chlorine came through your noses. Reacting to the weird smell, Niph ducked to a swipe by a medium sized creature. With your visions, you could see in now daintily over the Goblins a Green Dragon. It looked pisted as it missed its prey in the attack.

Seeing as the dragon was flying, Niph flicked her hands and brought out an Eagle to fight him. Said bird landed a talon into the flying dragon, forcing said creature to swipe at it. The Green Dragon had little luck and missed its attack on the Eagle.

At this point Niph started to open fire on the Young one, bullets just hitting their mark as the creature was too distracted to dodge the onslaught. The bullets of course went through and slaughtered 4 of the rank and file of the Goblins.

“Damn you human spawn!” The dragon released a torrent of acidic breath, the Eagle narrowly dodging it while NIph was forced to take a brunt of the attack. The branch she was sitting on melted as Niph herself took 17 points of acid damage, though her Niphilim hide negated 5 points putting her down to 32 Hp. Her branch was melted though, so she fell.

For the fight of the Village, watching their homes catching on fire lit their hearts with furry. Soon the hammer nad Anvil of the Ambush started to work in a fabulous fashion, the Goblin’s numbers now dwindling to ~25 as they received both the melee combatants and the artillery of LeFay.

Now forced to fight, the Hobs are coming forward in an attempt to save the fight.

The branch she was sitting on melted it landed on Niph. To the creatures frothing anger however, the attack did not even damage Niph thanks to her Demonic Heritage.

For the fight of the Village, watching their homes catching on fire lit their hearts with furry. Soon the hammer and Anvil of the Ambush started to work in a fabulous fashion, the Goblin’s numbers now dwindling to ~25 as they received both the melee combatants and the artillery of LeFay.

On reflex Niph grabbed onto a branch, bringing herself up and preparing to shoot. She watched as her summon was able to land a slice into its scales, the Dragon lashing out with a bite into the bird’s neck for the kill.

The dragon turned its face to Niph who started to open fired on it. The bullet bounced off his scaly hide as he came within melee of Niph and revealed his claws. He did not strike Niph, but instead grappled the girl.

Relation dawns on you as the creature started flying upwards at an extremely fast pace, the other battle becoming visible. The fight seemed evenly matched now, the remaining Goblins knowing if they don’t kill enough villagers their deaths are guaranteed. The villagers tried thier best to push the creatures as well, only to be met by the equal force and even losing a number of injured fighters.

You could see about 13 villagers when a sudden ball of fire struck the center of the goblin mob. The attack seemed to cull a great number of goblins and even kill two hobs, their shield’s conditions obvious.

Before you and Niph could attack the Dragon, the creature gave a laugh, “Haha you fucking Human! I don’t know how ya survive my breath but you’ll fucking drop like a rock!”

With that he let go.

As Niph fell you realize the bastards fucked ya over, {Niph, open your wing!}

{Nn!} Without even a second thought Niph opened her Angelic wings, allowing you two to stay about 20 ft. in the air. The dragon was dropping too though, right towards the fight. Before he could get 30 ft away though Niph opened fire on him.

A bullet pierced his hide, causing him to turn and face her with what was obviously anger, “You’re a fucking Angel! Oh why can’t you just die!” He opened his mouth and released another breath attack.

The attack came at Niph, but you both realized her immunity and thus chose to take a moment to summon another Eagle on him. The bird materialized and attacked the Dragon, narrowly missing him as he retaliated with a claw that ended its short life on earth.

Though he killed the bird, Niph flew into the Dragon's face with grace, her attack grazing across his body. “You damn fly!” The dragon yelled, bearing both his maw in an attempt to bite Niph. What he did not expect was Niph to quickly switch to your gun mode and fire a round into his opened mouth.

The Goblins were still holding their own and actually killed a number more Villagers before everyone turned to see the Dragon’s scream. The one who did not however was LeFay, how opened her hands and released a barrage of Magic Missiles into the Goblin’s ranks and decimating 4 of their kindred.

Seeing his defeat was inevitable, the Dragon turned towards Niph and flew towards the south. Though he received an attack from Niph, he was now in flight to get away from the her.

“Don’t run away you bastard!” Niph “Niph aimed down her sights, “You will be punished for your deeds!” The bullet went through one of his good wings, the sounds of cursing evident as he started to lose altitude. With him evidently injured, Niph gave chase and fired another bullet. The attack did just enough damage as the beast dropped from his flight, crashing into one of the abandoned building in the village.

With that over, Niph turned her sights to the Goblin horde. The fighting seemed scarce now as the remaining villagers, about 8, went around and finished off the remaining Goblins. Deciding to give help, Niph fired a pair of bullets that went through the remaining skulls of the Goblin horde.

Actually I think this is the time for the villagers to stay at home. Except that one strong guy. No need to risk one of the meat shields dying after all right? There's no glory for the dead. They're just level 1-5 peasants after all.
Also what's up with the dank continuous sentence?

>>3221284
Is that even possibly? Because I'm not seeing any spells that can do that. Maybe we could tie up the dragon in chains and find a more powerful wizard to put a geas on this guy.

>>

No, it is. The spell is called Geas. If they don't follow the spell, it hits them for about 60 damage.

A dragon can recover from that, but there are other things like just buying a slave color.

>>3221314
ya a dragon can break a geas kinda easy, and a slave color that can handle a dragon would be crazy expensive its not really a thing we can do right now
>>
>>3221332
It would take some time to rally up some men to help us kill a dragon as they are woefully weak. One hit from a breath attack and they're dead. Though, what the villagers can do is go about on horse back to help us spot the dragon as we take to the skies.
>>
>>3221332

Ah if we don't have the money it's best to first bind the dragon in chains. Then check out it's home and loot to see if maybe we will have enough money. Should also get some information out of it.

If we can't chain it then it's better to just kill it so we don't suffer hardships.
>>
Seeing as the Dragon is for the most part disabled, Niph made flew her way towards the group of survivors. As she landed they were all in awe of her but none more so that Europe, who was running around casting Healing Cantrips. Before anyone could respond Niph released a wave healing magic to the most injured, “Don’t stand around! We need to get anyone whos alive stabilized!”

“Yosh!” The crowd dispersed, Niph now running about and healing those she could. It seemed only about 3 people were savable, putting the amount of survivors up to 11. Looking about, many of the buildings seem fine, except for two that caught on fire and the one a dragon landed into.

As the people were recovering the hulk of the man from earlier came up, “To think an Angel came to our village. You fight pretty well too, though I didn’t imagine you could face down a dragon.”

Niph came to the sudden realization that both her demonic and angelic features are showing, though the man seems ignorant about the demon part.

“Oh him!” The guy smiled a good bit, “I wouldn’t mind poking at him with a stick. EVERYONE, LET’S GO SEE A DRAGON!”

With a cheer those who were not helping the injured joined you two in facing the dragon.

The mob comes across a smashed in building with the dragon knocked out cold. He is about the size of an average human though beyond that you can’t tell his age. His scales are a dark green and bullet wounds litter his body. He’s even bleeding from the jaw where Niph shot him.

“Hey LeFay.” Since the two of you were thinking about magics why not talk to the wizard, “Is there anything that we could use to control him?”

“To control a Dragon? “LeFay seemed surprised at the question, “I don’t have much Niph. While I have heard of people working with them, colored dragons are much harder because of their alignment makes them hard to work with.”

I think we are going to do that soonish. After finishing up binding the dragon. Probably on the morning after a rest, we will move out.

Grabbing some chains from the Smithy who was still kicking, Niph went about binding the Dragon. With the help of the barbarous man, they bound the creature’s wings to its body and feet along with the snot being completely muzzled shut. By the end the creature was in a fetal position with so much chain that you could barely recognize that it was a dragon and not a ball of metal.

“So you going to take him?” The man asked with a chipper tone.

“Nn, I don’t know yet, but we might be able to get him to atone for the crimes he committed.”

The man gave a laugh, “Well I hope you manage it, An Angelic Dragon Tamer sounds better than Angelic Dragonslayer. I think there was a story about it now I think about it.”

While the man went into thought, you look over to see LeFay inspecting the Dragon out of curiosity. She looks worn and you know she released tons of magic already. Rest might do, but there are reasons not to sleep while the iron is hot.

It was late into the night as Niph was riding a wagon loaded with the some villagers and Europe. The newly treded trail was easy to follow, leading you two to an opening of a cave.

“Alright everyone,” Niph sad cheerily, “I’ll beheading in with Europe. You all stay out unless we don’t come out in an hour!”

Everyone just noddded their heads with praise. While that would have been a morbid comment, they trusted the girl who took down a dragon of all things.

Niph looked to Europe with a happy but concerned face, “Are you ready Europe, you will have my back.”

“Y-yeah,” Europe said with a sparkle in her eye, “I’ll defend our lord’s guardian!”

“Nn…”

Their descent into the cave, which turned out to be more of a cavern, yielded that yes the dragon likely was the mastermind behind the attacks. The reason was the cave was littered with traps of all kind. From pit falls edged out by acid to what appeared to be holes in the ceiling, each one likely meant to allow Goblins to drop down upon the invaders. With Niph’s knowledge in traps and a little bit of luck however, passage through the tunnel was easy.

After what seemed like half a mile, the two came across a massive room within the cave. Looking about there were smaller opening all about this room, but this place likely served as a Nexus of sorts.

You notice there are about 8 Goblins in this room. Two of them are hobs and the other is a Shaman.

To start off the fight Niph grabbed Europe and released a Badger to act as their vanguard. The Goblins looked over the see the creature, and their cries of joy sounds as there's something for them to kill.

They did not expect when Niph fired a bullet through the crowd, killing two of the small horde and gravely injuring the Shaman. Taking a que from Niph, Europe fired an arrow through the crowd and pierced the Shaman’s skull.

The Goblins made their way to the Badger, the little guy lashing out at an hop and taking out a piece of his shin. The group stopped at the creature, a Hob hitting the creature and killing it in a single strike. The rest made their way to Niph and Europe, most around Niph.

That they did not expect was the little girl to take the attempt in stride. Brandishing your blade, Niph swung once, cleaving all the little ones within a moment and killing the Hob that was next to her.

The remaining Hob, he decided to charge at the group and attempt a bullrush on Niph. The Niphilim barely dodging and exposing his back to her blade.

The two then exchanged attacks, the Hob missing her by a long shot while Niph cleaved another tendon in his leg. The Hob attacked again for a miss while Niph struck him with her blade, his head exploding from your Psychic attack.

Everyone took a breather, looking about to see what was around. As Niph listened, the quite sounds of thrusting and begging could be heard from one of the hall. Its good to assume there are more Goblins in there.

I know, i know i've let you down,
i've been a fool to myself.
i thought that i could live for no one else,
but now, through all the hurt and pain,
it's time for me to respect.
the ones you love mean more than anything.
So with sadness in my heart,
i feel the best thing i could do,
is end it all, and leave forever.
what's done is done, it feels so bad,
what once was happy now is sad.
i'll never love again.
my world is ending.
[ain] i wish that i could turn back time,
'cause now the guilt is all mine.
can't live without the trust from those you love.
i know we can't forget the past,
you can't forget love and pride.
because of that, it's killing me inside.
It all returns to nothing,
it all comes tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling down.
It all returns to nothing,
i just keep letting me down, letting me down, letting me down.
In my heart of hearts,
i know that i could never love again.
i've lost everything... everything...
everything that matters to me matters in this world.
It all returns to nothing,
it just keeps tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling down.
It all returns to nothing,
i just keep letting me down, letting me down, letting me down.

As Niph and Europe made their way around the place Niph checked out many if the items about. As she and Europe did so, the sounds of thrusting took a sudden stop. The sound of something tearing flesh came into their ears as both Niph and Europe took positions.

It was then the rooms started to grow cold. Niph and Europe could see their breath as a creature came tumbling out of the room covered in blood.

It was a medium sized Dragon with silver scales. It would have been a majestic beast to see, but it's eyes were feral as its eyes caught Niph and Europe.

It opened its maw.

Before the Silver Dragon can complete its breath attack Niph yells at a stunned Europe, “GET AWAY!”

The girl snaps out of her fear induced stupor and runs as fast as she can. Before the Dragon can turn though Niph flicks her hands to summon Celestial Giant Bee, the creature attempting to sting the Dragon.

Though the attack bounced of his armor, the Dragon realizes the bee is going to be an annoyance and releases its jaws to blast both Niph and the Giant Bee. What noone expected was for the bee to sting the bastard right in the mouth. The attack was disrupted and forced his concentration on the bee.

As he did so, Niph ran up into his face and casted Sonic Boom. He was however able to sustain the damage, though his attention was more on clawing at the wasp who stung it in the mouth. Said creatures stinger once again bounced off, leaving it to be receive a claw from the Dragon.

With no more second tier spell slots, Niph made for her own escape while casting Shield of Faith upon herself. The sound of the Bee’s death echoing as a warning to its still living master, the sounds of flapping wings start to approach.

As Niph ran, she knew one thing was for certain. This fucker was fast.

As soon as she got a few feet away from the corner the Silver Dragon was right on her tail. Turning around, Niph opened fire upon it with you, the bullets rending the creature with just the sheer amount.

The creature retaliated with another creath attack, Niph taking it in stride as another pair of bullets went through the creature. IT was becoming bloodied, but the dragon couldn’t care less as it came at her with its claws in an attempt to rend her.

The attack sliced her right up, a gash dealing 12 damage even after her racial reductions. For the troubles, Niph released another burst of gunfire that gave the beast a great injury.

To finish the round, the Dragon sliced Niph again dealing only 5 damage to her, leaving the Niphilim with 26 Hp. Niph definitely looks healthier than the dragon though.

As the creature was in fighting Niph in what counts as basically a melee, neither could leave the other without a fatal attack to their back. Niph was the one to strike first with her blade, the attack dealing quite a bit of damage. The Dragon however went in for a bit, the attack ripping a small chunk out of Niph’s side and dealing another 11 damage as a crit. Niph is at 15 HP

Though the creature took a good chunk out of Niph and bloodied her, Niph was able to strike at the creature’s eye. She gave the Dragon a massive scar on the eye, making it fall to the ground. It seems the Silver Dragon’s vitality benefited it however, as the creature was still alive.

Niph was breathing heavily, but you could feel her happiness as she defeated not one but two dragons.

BUt now the sounds of men running through the caves are coming to your ears. It seems Europe got you two back up. They could carry the dragon if you don’t end its life now.

Niph kneeled down and gave the Dragon a burst of minor healing. She tried her best not to heal it above full health, making the creature healthy enough to survive. The eye however doesn't seem to be healable, a permanent mark of Niph’s victory against it.

The people came in, Niph ordering them to collect the Dragon and load it onto the cart. After that Niph made her way to where the Dragon was locked up, the room was a bloody mess with human bodies and Goblins both adult and fetuses laying about without care. There was however a cage that seemed of high make, magical even. Its seems like someone opened it up though, said women’s hand dangling off the latch as evidence.

Niph made her way out with a small collection of 100 Gp. It was obvious this was not where the horde was but at this point the two Dragon were probably worth more than any young Dragon’s horde would.

With that Niph went back to the Village, ready to rest from her injuries.

Niph is now level 6. Niph now has suggestiong as an At Will spell along with a few others.
>>
The morning sun rose, the smell of embers staining the air from the night before. She had a decent sleep, though when she woke up this morning with a scar formed near her stomach. It severed as a permanent reminder on how close she was from death, only her skill and a little luck was what prevented the Dragon from killing her.

This morning however was to be spent with a certain Green Dragon. As she came across his metal cage the bastard tried his to wiggle out with no success. Cautiously Niph bound his neck to a pair of posts to prevent it from moving around and blasting his own chains.

THere was a reason Niph did not bring anyone else. While Niph herself was immune to his acidic breath, he could get lucky and strike either LeFay or Europe. Though she was alone, Niph was confident she could at least fend the creature off before LeFay comes and casts fireball on him.

So Niph undid the bindings on his mouth, enough to let the creature speak. It was to her surprise that he did not use his breath, but just sat there content.

He spoke as best he could, obvious that Niph held his life in her hand, “So you have finally captured me, Miss Angel. So what do you want to know?”

Ask why he took a silver dragon, ask about the hoard, and ask if he knows what a bank is.

I never did get why dragons never try opening a bank, especially the lawful ones. They would make money, and because they're part of society they would have help protecting their money along with the money of others. That's not even touching on the defences they could add on to the vault since they would have access to wizards and artificers, a resource exclusive to non-tribal societies.

No, I nor the creators of DnD are that stupid.

When you attune to someone, you grant them magical power with them risking your ability to influence their thoughts and actions.

Powerful non-sentient ones also need attunement, but their influence is negligible. If you have more than 3, you risk your mind being torn asunder by their influence.

With these, you cannot simply 'record' a previous wielder. By making a new connection, you are severing the previous one completely. The original losing all benefits and defects you have been granted.

For At Wills I'm literally stealing them all from the Monster Manual. You guys are able to cast Level 3 spells so I give you level 3 at wills from Niph's race.

You got suggestion from her mother and remove fear from her father. Soon she will be able to Holy Smite, so that will be fun.

BTW, you guys wanna cast Circle of Truth?

Niph flicked her hands, the feeling of holiness washing over both her and the Dragon. A small ping alerted Niph that the Dragon was under her influence, so the interrogation started,“Why did you have a Silver Dragon?”

The Green Dragon laughed a little, “She attacked me while I was moving my forces. I bested her in combat and locked her in a cage.”

Niph rose an eyebrow, “Why did she lose her mind?”

The dragon smiled slily, “I stored her where it was secure and I had room. She only became like that after she witnessed my minions… activities. Miss Angel, I assume you found her then?”

Niph ignored the prob, her mind that of an inquisitorial agent probing for chaos, “So where’s your horde, Green boy?”

The creature’s eyes were at this point looking at Niph with a stern expression, but that moment the bastard fultured as his shoulders gave in resignation, “I, uh… Don’t have a horde.”

“What!?” Niph exclaimed, “What do you mean you don’t have a horde!”

The creature gave a nervous chuckle, “I, ah, uh, did have one. You see, if the Goblin horde get big enough they birth a, uh, Goblin Champion.” He looked down onto the ground in resignation, “I was younger then and… ignored him. He came into my cave and fought me. I killed him… but I melted my horde.”

Laugh at the dragon who rolled a nat one on trying to broker a deal with ya.

“Oh….” Niph kind of looked down before she started to giggle. The creature gave her a glare, but Niph ignored it as she gave him the next question, “Why did you use Goblins anyway? They are quite foul for some gigantic plan.”

The creature glared a little but since he was already defeated, “I chose them because of how fast I could raise them. Yes they might be foul, but when nurtured their numbers could lead to an easy victory against the humans. After that my breath would guarantee their deaths and I would have the Marsh to myself.”

Well, there are three choices I’m hearing

>Find a way to bind him permanently. You can do things from slave contract to constantly using suggestion to force him into Atonement. That’s just my idea, you guys can come up with others. This will also take place over the time skip.

“Fufufu,” Niph had to laugh a little at your suggestions. She sounded pretty okay with it and went over to try and rechain his mouth. The Green Dragon eyes widened more as he finally realized the laughing was for and tried to escape, the chains becoming strained under his strength. Of course he was powerless as Niph released the first round of Suggestion magic.

He became docile as the spell worked through his mind, Niph command being ‘Calm down’. With that the creature’s fate was sealed, Niph Suggesting he sleep for a while.

The Green Dragon ended up back in the cage with the Silver one. The Silver seemed to have calmed down somewhat, though the reasons why are unknown. Niph looked at the creatures, both something only Niph could handle safely. If Niph wanted to leave these two here, they might be able to escape during a feeding by killing a villager. Taking them over to the remaining areas of subjugation is possible, but there is always the risk of attack.

Of course that leaves the reason for the other Goblin attacks. It sounds like they were orchestrated by the Green Dragon, so it’s logical to assume they will lose a bunch of steam from his capture. Niph could request someone comes over to finish the creatures off, stating she captured a fucking Dragons and needed to care for them. There is also the point that it’s more honorable to finish the task she agreed to.

The group finished loading their supplies, a cart placed on the back of the carriage to house the Dragons’ cages. As Niph check up on them, the small hiss of the Silver Dragon could be heard while the Green Dragon just sat there. Niph placed another round of magic on him to keep him from going crazy, though one cast will last about 6 hours.

As she walked towards the driver’s seat, she gave a thumbs up to LeFay who was looking out of the window in her armor. Europe was currently practicing her cards, though that might stop once they get moving.

As Niph got into the seat the large barbarian of a man came up, “So you all heading out?”

“Nn!” Niph nodded her head in excitement, “We still have a job to do.”

The man just chuckled a little, “Well be sure to stay the night once your back. I’ll have some venison for you all to eat.”

“Oh!” Niph could already taste the meal, “We’ll be sure to stay the night!”

“Take care kid!”

“Nn!”

With that Niph made her way over the stone bridge, entering the Southern Marsh.

The sounds of the horses going through mud and muck, Niph playing with the reigns a little bit. It's kind of funny really, Niph really relies on the telepathy with the older horse. She’s tried using suggestion, but it seems to require the creature to know a language. Of course the ride’s quality doesn’t seem to really change.

They have been traveling for a majority of the day, slowly going down hills with slicker roads. Though they are not bad enough to cause trouble, a cold ominous wind has gone through the valley.

As the rounded a corner Europe popped her head from the carriage, looking shy as ever, “Uh… Niph, what’s it like being an Angel?”

Niph just raised an eyebrow, “Hmm? What do you mean Europe?”

The girl’s face was getting redder and redder, “I, uh, who’s god do you serve. What’s he like wait- I mean oh, uh.”

You could hear LeFay sigh in the back, placing her book into a pouch in her armor, “Europe, Niph is not an Angel.”

“She’s not!” Europe exclaimed, “W-what do you mean.”

Niph sounded a little sad as she picked up where LeFay left off, but it needed to be done, “Europe, m-my father was an Angel, Mama was a Succubus.” Now she was facing the girl with contempt, “I’m what’s called a Niphilim.”

“Oh…” Europe looked down from the fact, “Does that mean… you’ve never met the Gods?”

Niph nodded her head, “Nn, I never met a God nor do I really work for one. I just go around killing Goblins.”

The girl just tilted her head, “I guess that’s pretty noble.”

“It is,” LeFay said with a smug smile, “She’s been dead set on killing Goblins since we met.” LeFay dashed forward and grabbed onto Niph for a hug, “That’s why I’m here! I can’t leave my daughter to such a thing by herself.”

“L-LeFay!” Niph exclaimed as she was pushed against the metal breastplate, “It hurts!”

“Oh!” The girl let go as fast as she grabbed Niph, “Sorry Niph!”

Niph just messaged her own face a little, “I’m okay, LeFay.”

The other just gave a weary smile, “That’s good.” The Wizard then pirked with a question, “Say Niph, what's your plan for the Dragons?”

Niph widened her eyes a little, “Them? I’ve been thinking about keeping them.”

“Are you going to handling them? Should we go talk to Dominic about Dragons on the way back?”

The name flashed in Niph’s mind, “Oh him! Yeah! Though I was going to use suggestion on the Green Dragon for now.”

LeFay looked a little perplexed, “Suggestion? Why are you going to use spell slots on that?”

Niph just gave her a smile, “I can cast it At Will now!”

“Really!” LeFay grew a smile, “Seems your mother is still helping you.”

Niph just gave LeFay a big smile, “Nn!”

LeFay looked through the window onto the road, “You want me to take over? It might be good to start on him while theres still light.”

Niph nodded her head, “Nn. I need to get started.”

So they traded seat, Niph casting your desired commands into the poor bastard.

Niph was sitting in the back of the carriage, flicking her hand every 6 seconds. Every cast that happened, the Green Dragon would receive a new command that replaced the old one. Many of the commands were normal, ‘Eradicate all Goblins’ and ‘Don’t needlessly kill people’. Simple commands that anyone would agree with and were reasonable.

You however knew if they were logical the psychological conditions might be shaken off. So commands like ‘Puppies are Cute’, ‘You are not being suggested these are your own thoughts’, and Niph’s favorite ‘You will give me dragon rides’ were used.

It is quite frightening as Niph casted Detect Evil on him, the Dragon’s aura was slowly being eroded. The Dragon would occasionally murmur insanities and was now completely helpless against Niph and the chains. They might be mighty beasts when they grow old and wise, but at this age their minds are as malleable as an adult human. It might take a week before he could be released, more to regain some sense of self, but it’s going really well all things considered.

The days travel yielded some stuff. At times when Niph got board manipulating the Dragon, she looked out to see a few farming fields. There were not many people working in them and the ground was still wet. That did not stop them however as the people continued to work the soggy fields.

The carriage went through a couple of villages, many numbering only 50 residences. Of course there seemed to be a jump on population as they approached the area of extermination, people in tattered clothing and some covered in wounds.

It is approaching evening, there would likely only be a few hours left in the day. You can arrive at the village by night or stay in a nearby village for a night.

As they went through one of the more messed up villages Niph went up to LeFay, “Hey LeFay, can we stop here for tonight?”

“Hmm,” She looked around up at the sky and then at the people, “Yeah. We can’t approach Goblins at night.”

With that the carriage came to a stop, allowing Niph to look over the people who wondered about. The amount of what you could guess as refugees was 20 in a village of only 12 houses, most of them hanging out around a small Church in the center.

Looking further about there does not seem to be much of anything, people are working on bringing in a bunch of vegetables. Some of the refugees seem to be helping, which allowed you to make an inference. A majority of refugees are men or young children, barely any women above the age of 14.

Besides that there’s a place where people are bringing bottles too and from, the smell of alcohol staining their breath. Its too small to be a proper tavern but it could be some form of liquor store.

Approaching the church you, Niph, and Europe could see a variety of people walking around. A majority of them are children, most under Niph’s age. They were walking around like the living dead, something Niph saw in the girls that were rescued from previous nests.

“Oh Lord of Fate,” Europe had the tarot card in her hand with her head down, “If you could, please help these people. If Fate brought us here, help us correct what troubles these people.”

Niph and Europe walked through the opened doors, the many people inside who were crying for help. Most were sickly and thin men, the children few as you could only assume the worse.

Standing at faucet of water was a man dressed in white robes stained with rotting blood. He was filling a small flask with blessed water as Niph and Europe approached.

He did not notice them at first, chanting an incantation onto the water in front of him. Niph coughed into her fist and caused the man to jump in fright, “Oh my! Don’t scare me little…” He got a good look of both Niph and Europe, “Uh, h-how are you here so soon?”

Niph tilted her head, “Soon?” Though she quickly recovered, not allowing the old man’s confusion to confuse her, “What happened here Sir?”

The man’s eyes widened, “Oh, your not from the church! Adventurers!” He quickly got up and stood proper, “I, uh, sorry I need to introduce myself. I am Father Maine.”

Niph gave a nod, “Inquisitor Niph.”

As the man’s widened to saucers Europe introduced herself, “I am a follower of Mortain, Europe e’Squire.”

The man gasped for words, “W-whats an Inquisitor doing here! I thought you were adventurers!”

Niph shook her head and gave the man a calming smile, “I’m in training! We were coming by to kill Goblins until we noticed all the people.”

The man calmed a little, “So you are, uh, here to kill the Goblins?”

NIph gave him a rich smile, “Nn!”

“That's good.” The man finally sighed, “So you are heading further south?”

“Nn! We need to kill the Goblins, are these people who fled the horde?”

The man scratched his head, “Y-yeah, it seems the Goblins have grown too fast for anyone to put down. I’m afraid they might overrun the Marsh if we don’t end them soon.”

“Its good we came then!” NIph did a little twirl, looking about the place with the sick and injured, “Do you need any help?”

The man’s eyes widened, “C-could you!? I mean, I don’t want you two to lose Spell Slots over refugees if you can kill the Horde!”

Niph grew a smirk, “Nn, we can help. I can cast Remove Disease at will.”

“G-great!” The man was ecstatic now, “Come then! Some might be saved now!”

As Niph moved with the Father they went through the entire place. It seemed that minor outbreak has gripped the place, forcing the man to dire measures. They first worked on the nearly dead folk, those who suffered for days. Most were children, those who’s immunities were not fully developed. They then moved on to older men, most seemed to be defenders of the refugees.

It was then Niph realised many of the men were not afflicted with disease but poison, Goblin’s poison. Even the shallowest of cuts could paralyze a person, causing great agony as thier body cleaned out the feral poison.

Though Niph could not help the poisoned, she healed many of the Children who suffered.

They were working on one of the poison victims when Niph started asking, “Uh, Sir, do you have any idea where the Nest could be?”

He strung out a cloth that was covered in blood, “I do not Inquisitor. All I know is the creatures came from the south and have been quite the nuisance.”

Niph casted a round of Remove Disease on the man just in case, “Normal Goblins couldn’t do this much, have you heard of any notables?”

The Father started to wrap the wounds once again with a clean cloth, “I’ve heard there’s one that rides a Dire Wolf, he loves to terrorize the people by stealing the women who are fleeing.” The man thought for a moment, “Besides that I don’t know. Most who come here are not the defenders, just those who fled.”

Niph checked his body for any place where wounds could have stayed hidden, “So you were trying to get the church to come?”

“Yeah,” The man finished with a prayer, “The church occasionally releases Paladins if too many lives are at stake. They would come here with a sense of justice instead of criticizing our choice of coming.”

“Hmm?” Niph caught something there, “Why wouldn’t the Empire send a force here?”

“The Empire…” The man took a few seconds, “Has been preparing for something big. I heard they were blessed by a God for a Crusade. They are readying to claim new lands that are monsterless. I don’t know much after that.”

“Nn.” Niph nodded and was getting up.

“Uh, Inquisitor, I have a request for you.”

NIph turned to face the man, once more scratching his head, “There is a, uh, relic in a Monastery down south. It is the Femur of Lesser Saint Corth. If you get that back to me, I might be able to heal those poisoned by Corth’s will.”

Niph nodded, “I’ll look into it sir.”

“Thank you.”

With that they worked till midnight, where he recommended they stay the night.

The morning sun came as Niph, LeFay, and Europe rose from their beds. Thanks to Niph’s help last night, the Priest asked them to sleep in the clergy's quarters. To admit it was quite cramp and the two basically family members had to share a bed, but it was a place to sleep nonetheless.

LeFay looked over to Niph, “Did you have a good night’s sleep, Niph?”

Niph gave the girl a happy smile, “Nn!”

LeFay couldn’t help but smile back, “Good.”

Niph looked over at Europe, who was slowly getting up, “How about you Europe?”

“I,” The girl gave a mighty yawn, “I… feel good, thanks Niph.”

The girls all chuckled a little and headed their way out, the place seemed to be getting a little brighter as the children no longer dragged themselves across the streets.

Looking over into the courtyard the mighty Carriage was waiting for them along with the horses who grazed on the grass.

Let's put a saddle on the green one and restore the sanity of the silver one.

I support restoring the sanity of the silver one but not the saddle of the green one. Still haven't broken him fully.

Approaching the Carriage Niph looked into the cage that held their draconic captives. Europe and LeFay were standing about 45 feet back, enough to avoid any breath attack the monsters could release while LeFay could still cast fireball.

Niph lifted the hardest she could, eventually the Silver Dragon dropped onto the ground with a thud. Realizing it was out of the cage it lashed out and attempted to break the chains that bond it. The chains held though, Niph cautiously chanting the spell.

“Heart’s Ease”, the words Niph spoke went through the air and into the ears of the Dragon. The once thrashing body now relaxing, the tense chains now loose as the creature took a few moments to look around.

Niph could hear a muffled voice coming from the Dragon. Taking a que from her times with you, she spoke to the creature telepathically.

You do not know what they said, but Niph approached the beast and unlocked the chains, allowing the Silver beast to expand its wings.

The voice was obviously feminine, “Thank you for releasing me mortal, though I do ask what happened to my captor?”

Niph nodded to the mass of chains in the cage, “We are taking care of him right now.”

The creature’s face seemed to change emotions rapidly but settled for content, “Very well, he shall be tried by you humans. He has done the most damage to your kind after all.”

“We will take good care of him.” Niph smiled happily, “Oh, and sorry about your eye.”

The Dragon scratched at it for a moment, “Oh, I… did not notice it was gone. How did I receive such a wound, mortal?”

Niph picked at her own scar a little sheepishly, “I, uh, sliced it during our fight.”

“Oh, I fought you in my insane state.” The Dragon actually became a bit timid, “It is fine, in an insane state of mind I attacked a helpful mortal. You are forgiven, though I ask the same for myself.”

“Well,” Niph smile grew sly, “I’ve dedicated my life to hunting Goblins. Could you help me eliminate them from existence?”

The being raised her brow to the blatant talk of genocide, “I sadly do not have the time to engage in such a quest. I only attacked Fulgrim because he entered my territory, not because of the Goblinoid kin.”

“Well,” Niph thought quickly, “How about cleaning up Fulgrim’s mess? These Goblins might be his doing, so could you help clean the area of their filth?”

The Dragon slanted its head, erecting it after the moment was over, “I shall assist on cleansing this area of their filth. It was only because of my defeat that their kind run rampid by Fulgrim’s will.”

Niph gave a cheer, “Thanks Miss Dragon!”

The creature grew a little smile, “You may call be Celestine, Mortal.”

“Niph!”

“Alright Niph, I hope the skies are clear today.” With that Niph waved the others closer and they readied to go.

So they began traveling the way, Niph driving the horses while Celestine rod the skies. LeFay and Europe were doing their usual thing, research and prayer respectively. The Roads seemed to grow deserted of life as they went south. The obvious markings of travel evident as the horses pulled forward.

Niph was keeping her eye on the forest, waiting for any chance of the creatures to come. She was rewarded for her diligence as she noticed shadows dancing alongside the carriage. Her dark vision did not fail as she could see the Goblins riding varying beasts, but what surprised her was the fact it was riding a deer.

That did not stop her however as she shouted at the passengers, “They’ve found us!”

“Got it!” Replied LeFay who quickly took up the ballista, the creatures coming out of the woods as their positions were exposed.

The creatures approaching did not expect to be welcomed by a barrage of gunfire as Niph opened with an attack. The bullets went by both sides of the carriage as Niph used Double Action, the Goblins falling off their unusual steeds.

While Niph tried to slow down the carriage, another group came from the woods, one of them being nailed by LeFay’s ballista fire. Noticing the fighting below her, Celestine flew down in an attempt to give support and gouged one of the Goblins through with a claw.

The front was suddenly ambushed, a pair of Goblins on wolves dashed to the front. Niph, with unusual skill, managed to dodge the creatures as they attempted to attack the Horses from the front. LeFay fired another Bolt from the Ballista while Celestine once again Gorged one of the Goblins with her claws.

Seeing too many Niph shouted out to Europe, who was trying her best to hit one of the creature, “Europe! Take the Horses!”

Europe turned her head to watch as Niph’s wings bursted from her back, the wind quickly taking her into the air. After a quick mental ping to the Horses Niph turned her attention to the wolve’s riders who struck at the carriage. The girl released a pair of bullets, each striking and killing the Goblins as they all were stunned by the second flying target.

As she was up there though, something big and black was coming, bursting out of the woods was another wolf, one that was the size of a man. It was to her surprise that the creature was being ridden on by a pair of Goblins and a Hob, the hob steering the great beast to the side of the Horses.

He had a sickly grin as the bastard slammed his club into the horses, though Europe was able to hold them together. The others riding took the chance to jump off, but Niph quickly ended them while the Silver Dragon tried to strike the Hob.

The Hob dodged though with a sickly grin as he attempted to slam his mace into the Dragon. Though he missed, that didn’t stop his friends from jumping out. This time however Niph was ready and fired her shots into the incoming fighters, killing the Goblin hijackers while injuring the Hobs.

Celestine struck the Hob, though it did not kill him. The bastard had a goofy smile as Niph saw another coming from the forest. It was a mass of flesh riding a Dire Wolf, bigger than any Hob she’s seen.

The creature gave out a feral laughters, “I can smell them boyz! Fucking fuck them!”

It seems the anomaly has arrived.

Released. Fired off. I guess they both work but release sounds strange.

Cool. A direwolf.
