You are floating in what should be the warp, but you are not sure. As a Space Marine Librarian, you expected to be devoured by the Daemons you’ve denied your whole life (And maybe unlife). Without the warp carnivorous chewing you out though, you try your best to remember the past that you seemingly forgotten.

Welcome everyone to my Space Marine X Highschool DxD one shot. I’m REDthunderBOAR, the guy running the Neet turned Goblin Slayer quest. This here is to supplement a 1-2 year time skip for the other series and give me something else to write.

I will admit, I’m not planning to go much into writing about boobs and Issei’s lust. What I like about DxD is while its cute on the outside, its fucking Grim when you think about the lore. I mean, there’s literally a Warp Tare right next earth and a Dragon/C’tan living in it and the fact that Rias, the main heroine, basically allowed Issei to die just so she could turn him into a Devil Servant. Not as dark as 40k, but there's a reason you don't trust things that are called Devils, Demons, or Daemons in any universe.

For this quest, I am changing the rolls because I don’t plan to crunch numbers but write. With that, I give you a fun system I saw.

>Rolls are done with a d100, best of three unless crit failure.

>Crits occur with on <10 and >90 respectively.

>Modifiers exist and will be granted at character creation. Doing so, you have a chance to avoid critical failures or succeed based on these.

>>Simply put, if you rolled a 79 on a steal check as a Blood Raven, it jumps to a 99 because I’m giving meme abilities +20. That means you succeeded in stealing the item and NO ONE noticed. This stems to Raven Guard coming out of nowhere, Smurfs being good at everything, and Salamanders with fire.

>>>On a third note, this means you could guarantee that some actions will Never. Crit. Fail.

>Roll when I do ‘>Roll’

Besides that the usual:
>I got final Say

>I will almost always be jumping computers, so the IP and username changes a lot. Keep that in mind if posts from ‘The REDthunderBOAR’ or ‘redthunderboar’ come up.

>Updates when I can, which is quite a lot really.

>As always, try your best to think outside the box. I would love it if you guys do funny shit like try and become high schoolers. I will almost always give leeway to these actions.
>>
Character Creation!

You first try and remember what exactly your chapter was. The battle brothers you saved. The ones you defended till the very end from whatever you were fighting.

>Blood Ravens
>>+20 to Stealth when stealing objects and understanding new arcane knowledge. The Chapter prides itself in collecting knowledge and is not afraid to get a little heretical. I’d prefer this because you guys can literally go around stealing stuff from all the factions like Evil Pieces, Tomes of Knowledge, and Excalibre. You also get to have arms from other legions, so more customization.

>Grey Knights
>>+20 to fucking over anything Supernatural. There’s a Devil, *BLAM* dead. There’s a Fallen Angel over- *WOMP* didn’t exist. Oh, Angels preac- *FLUMP* whats an Angel? Secretive, lethal, and incorruptible. Sounds like a great match for the 21st century.

>Angry Marines
>>+20 to anything that FUCKING PISTS YOU OFF!!! You are hard to reason with, no that doesn’t cut it. Ahemm… FUCKING EVERYTHING PISSES YOU OFF. FUCKING DEVILS ARE FUCKING FUCKING STUPID. FUCK ANGELS, DAEMONS, AND FUCKING PRETTY MARINES!!!!!!!!!! Good luck making friends, you’re just as likely to kill them off before they say hi.

>Legion of the Damned
>>Uhhh, +20 to murder everything? I mean, you get abilities like instant teleportation, infinite ammo, and cool fire effects. You just murder everything better than anyone else and ended up being stuck in some alternate reality.

>Kitten
>>”Wait, Magnus what happened! I think I’m thinking thoughts of a dead Space Marine” “Companion, I… don’t even know.” “Didn’t you live in the warp?” “This is different Companion! This might not be ‘Our’ warp but another one entirely. I think I read about this phenomena somewhere before.” “Magnus please work quickly I don’t want to become Daemon food.” Don’t know how good I am at writing them, but there’s my attempt. If you think it’s good enough chose it.

>Insert your own
>>Just put in what bonus you want and I will verify if it works.

Creation will go:
>Chapter->Armor->Skills->Librarian Disciplines->Anything else needed to be sorted out.

I'mma leave it here for a night and half a morning. Don't forget to Vote!

Legion, Dreadnaught, Legendary Ranged, Major Psycher, Minor Knowledge Arcane, Technomancy.

If we choose armaments, then a pair of ranged weapons, one fully automatic minimum(Autocannon/Twin Linked Heavy Bolters), loaded with alternating specialty rounds if you'll allow it (Hellfire/Inferno/Kraken Penetrator/Metal Storm, in order of importance).

Armor in a moment.

Armor
Ah yes, you were A Blood Raven. You used a gift from a Necron Lord to kill said Necron Lord and now you are adrift in this weird Warp. Now that that’s figured out, what about the armor you were wearing? Kind of surprise you forgot about that.

Think of this of how insanely powerful and old you guys want this to be. Proficiency is an extra bonus stacked on top of your chapter bonus, which goes up with armor except Centurion.

>Scout
>>You are a Newbie, but probably the easiest to blend into the modern world but you don’t have much in the way of training.

>Standard Mk. 4 Librarian Power Armor
>>You are pretty much a normal Librarian of your chapter. You get a minor proficiency and tons of weapons.

>Terminator Armor
>>Tougher and a veteran of battle. You are nothing to gawk at and can face most anybody 1v1. You get 1 Major Proficiency, 1 Minor Proficiency, and some weapons.

>Centurion Armor
>>You wanna fuck things, here you go. More health, a deadly melee, and armor only a high-class Devil could pierce, if you let them. 2 Minor Proficiency and some weapons.

>Dreadnaught
>>You cheeky mother fucker. Go big or go home, purge all in your path, and have a legend to match. You get 1 Legendary Proficiency, 1 Major Proficiency, 1 Minor Proficiency, and an extra Librarian Discipline. Don’t worry about picking Dreadnaught to keep secret, I already have a plan to introduce you and give you a grunt.

Ah yes, Dreadnought armor. You were already dead when they placed your corpse into the machine, and now you serve the Chapter after. Of course this armor was gifted by another pristine chapter, but who was it again?

You know what, I should just do the Disciplines first.

Librarian Discipline
This is where the training to become a Librarian shines for you. You guys get the standard shit of firing electricity out of your hands, minor telepathy, and such. These however are massive upgrades to your abilities as a Marine, from deadlier with hands to controlling machine spirits to even wiping out magical activity.

>Telepathy Discipline
>>You focus on the powers of the mind. This can range from long range communication, probing a person’s mind, to even taking complete control of it and forcing them to obey you. A terrifying ability and one that could be easily abused, making an easy gateway for Daemons to invade your mind.

>Librarius Discipline
>>You learned how to buff yourself to a monsterous degree, becoming the perfect killing machine. You can do the standard shoot lightning from your gauntlets, reinforce protections against mind altering magics, impower yourself to beyond even the average marine of your type, and even disable a creature’s warp abilities for a short time.

>Technomancy
>>You were trained by the adeptus Mechanicus and were taught the powers of a Tech Priest, which you punched further with your Psychic powers. You can make any machine or object sing for your, buffing them with your warp powers. You also have the ability of a Tech Priest, such as their skill with machines and knowledge on constructing a manufactorium.

>Fulmination Discipline
>>Have you ever wanted to become the Sith Lord from Star Wars without joining the dark side. Well in this Discipline, you have the ability to Teleport with Lightning, defend people with lightning, create force fields with lightning, and even levitate.

>Geokinesis Discipline
>>This is honestly the most badass one, you can control the earth itself and force it to your whim. From creating chasms to becoming a master at demolition to even healing people. Yeah no Sith Lightning but who needs that when you can fly by levitating rocks.

>Codex Astartes Discipline
>>You didn’t really concentrate on just one thing, becoming more of a jack of all trades. You get snippets from other disciplines and one powerful ultimate that literally opens a Warp Rift that sucks the souls out of those who dare too close.
>>
>>3240368
You get two of these. Go wild.

Proficiency
From picking Dreadnought armor, you have one Minor, Major, and Legendary Proficiency. Minors are +10, Major is +25, and Legendary is +40. Just pick your options and put to the side what proficiency you wanna give it.

>Range Combat
>>You are skilled in a fire fight. You can burst an Ork’s head from miles away and use almost any ranged weapon.

>Melee Specialist
>>Chain Swords, Power Swords, Force Gloves, what's there not to love? Its tearing your enemy in half with your own hands.

>Psyker Specialist
>>As a Librarian, you did some time perfecting the art of Psyker Shenanigans. You are better able to handle your psychic abilities and are less receptivable to the terror of the warp.

>Diplomacy
>>You’ve talked to your fair share of Inquisitors and even saved your chapter on one occasion. You get this bonus on charisma checks.

>Knowledge Arcane
>>You somehow know how sorcery works. Just don’t tell the Inquisitors that.

>Heresy Resistance
>>You are pretty good about not being possessed or being affected by the warp. While the war gear helps, you never know if any foul creature might target you.

>Stealth
>>Depending on your chapter this might be good or bad, but somehow your good at stealth. Maybe you should have joined the Raven Guard, but hey, someone had to do their homework as a Scout.

>Blood Raven Chapter Specialty
>>You were placed into the Dreadnought because you collected the most gifts out of anyone else in the chapter. Even now your record inlife however was only beaten by your unlife.

Ah, everything was coming back to you as your hulk of a body drifted through the immaterial realm. You are a Dreadnought of the Blood Ravens Space Marine Chapter. A Osiron Dreadnought named Dante, the sarcophagus of the man known as Dante Orgavis. You are one of the most valuable assets to the Blood Ravens, your abilities with Machines as well as your abilities to recieve gifts was astounding.

Of course you are now drifting through the Warp. It’s a surprise that none of the Daemons have come to feast on your hide, which is a nice change. Atlase, you can still say your mind is as together as any Marine in a suit of Dreadnought armor. That is to say, it fucking hurts.

As you travel however, you feel yourself suddenly being dragged. Quickly looking around there are no Daemons, but something akin to a current.

The current was taking you somewhere, towards a hole in the emptiness of the Warp. In front of it though was a massive creature, a red lizard colored red with great wings on his back. As you approach you can see one of his massive eyes glance at you, the jaw unhinging as if to swallow you whole.

As you grab your spear however a feeling washed over you, the great being taking heed as well. This feeling, you know it very well. You were near its light when you trained on Mars, when you were placed into your tomb, and everywhere you went within the Imperium.

”...Emperor...”

The giant beast gave what you thought was a smile, allowing the current to take you into real space.

You drifted in space for what seemed like an hour, allowing you to get a good look upon the world the Emperor brought you to. It looked to be an Agri World, the oceans covering a majority of the surface.

The warp around the world however gave you a different feeling. You could feel the something akin to the Emperor’s blessing all around the world, surrounding it like a shield against the perils of the warp. The Daemons that would almost always try and whisper to you were non existent, unable to pierce the Emperor’s defences.

As you drifted closer to the planet the gravitational pull yanked on your tomb. Entry into the world was going to be rough, but you knew that the sarcophagus would hold. The temperatures started to build, a red hot outline appearing around your adamantine armor as your speed grew more and more.

You could feel the machine spirits at work, their analysis is that you would be landing on a small island off the coast of the largest land mass. The crash sight was going to place you two miles away from the nearest city, the place holding a low population in comparison to most imperial cities.

The next few moments were rapid as you broke through the clouds and come face to face with the land masses. You were not scared however, for what would be scared of death if it had already occurred?

You placed your feet to the bottom while you ordered the machine spirits to brace themselves. They obeyed with a singing praise, the armor locking down as it impacted the ground with a chaotic explosion.

Debris was everywhere while the machine spirits reported no damage to your hull. You stepped out of the pit you formed seeing nothing but trees. It seems the world has yet to fully be tamed, the usual smog of a manufactorim undetectable.

As an Angel of the Emperor, our duty is to show this world to the emperor light and purge any signs of corruption
>>
Taking the initiative, you decide it would be better to make it to civilization instead of messing about. The sound of your hydrolics reverberating through the ground as you take steps through the small forest.

As you move, a number of signals reach your Vox Com. Most of them are on primitive frequencies, communication common upon worlds that are just leaving their feudal state. Deciding that knowledge is power, you open the link in order to listen in.

It takes the Machine Spirits only a second to single out a frequency, sounds of a language not Gothic running through your ears. The closest you could figure it to is the language of the Tau and you are forced to focus some power to their meaning, “Good afternoon Kuoh, just a few minutes ago a meteorite crash landed a few miles away from the city. More information at 1.”

You breach the last of the trees your vision coming onto the small city. It looked to somehow be an ignorant world, the place completely devoid of Golden architecture. Your Witch’s Eyes can see more however, the place filled with a variety of different souls.

You quickly glance from building to building, the colors of more malicious daemon coming to your eyes. That however is nothing compared to a structure most like the imperium. The Spirits zoomed in, the place is one giant gothic structure with about 4 others spread about. Though you could see the sorceries covering the place as if they were traps and barriers. Truely, whatever was living there was bizarre.

There was another place that caught your eye, a small building that seemed to bleed the Emperor’s power. It was not however, as you could see the slight taints that perfreated the structure. To put it simply, it was a stain upon the Emperor's dominion. Oddly though, it was not in the city but off to the side snuggled into a hill.

>Make your way to the Gothic building, for it must be purged of Sorcery and maybe get a few gifts.

>Check out the other building. You might find an ecclesiarch there who could help and if not, separate them from their body.

You set your sights on the building that radiated his holiness as the sun starts to set. For something so unusual to occur must be the actions of some Daemon or witchcraft.

You march through the trees, downing them as you walk with the utmost purpose. In case you are to come into combat with the unusual inhabitants you start doing a check on your weapon’s machine spirits.

You cave in the last of the trees, gaining a closer look upon the building. It seemed to be much more spartan, but it still carries parts of Imperial architecture upon closer inspection.

+++[Examining Building…. Building is Bland]+++

You agree with the Machine Spirits, the place needs more skulls and gold at the very least.

As you were pondering this however there seemed to be something coming your way. You instantly recognize it as some form of Daemon, but it seems to have a much more corporeal body than usual. The creatures radiate the energies of the Emperor, though it has been tainted in some odd form or measure.

It flew down, male, and started to speak in a threatening tone in Imperial Gothic, “I don’t know who you are but you are encroaching Grigori! Turn back and we will let you live!”

+++[Grigori: Checking Data Base…]+++
...10101010001….
+++[Grigori: Faction Unknown]+++

You agree with the spirits, a faction called that is unheard of. They could be part of the Inquisition as inquisitors sometimes have taint, but besides that there is no Ordo Grigori. Actually, its aura looks to be that of a Holy Saint upon closer inspection.

Your voice comes out as low booming, the man stepped back the moment it reached his ears, ”What are you, Daemon?”

“Demon?” At the mention his face twisted before growing a smile and twirling his hat, “I, Mr. Robot, am a Fallen Angel! You stand in front of a being crafted by God himself.”

“What is the Grigori, Daemon?”

The man grew a greater smile as he enjoyed gloating, “The Grigori is a union of all those who’ve been left adrift from the other factions! You reach for your back, bringing out the massive weapon that is your Dreadspear. The sounds of the Machine Spirits quaking through your armor as the ancient pistons roar to life.

+++[Twin Linked Heavy Bolter: Primed]+++
+++{Dreadspear: Poised]+++

The man started to giggle, crescendoing into to gut wrenching laughter, “HAAHAH! Do you think a Robot, the thing humans build to play as God, would scratch me!”

You once against speak into the Vox Caster, an answer to the Daemon’s question, “I am a Blood Raven Dreadnought of the Imperium of Mankind, Daemon. Knowledge is Power, Guard it Well!”

The Daemon raised his hands to summon some warp like contraption, but you beat him to it. Arcing from your hands a giant torrent of lighting that shined with the Emperor’s light. The being in front of you didn't even have time to scream as his body was quickly turned to ashes.

+++[Weapons Primed]+++

You could feel the irritation of the Machine Spirits for not experiencing combat, but you ignore it to instead examine the ashes of the Daemon. Actually, it was the fact there were ashes that perplexed you, Daemons were by nature incorporeal Beings. Their death only meant they would be banished back to the Warp, leaving no trace of their existence besides a stain on the material realm.

In front of you were ashes though, ashes of a creature that was supposed to be a Daemon.

You look up, the building still stained with the taint of this creature. The back door swung open, men dressed in black robes similar to the ecclesiarchy running to see the fight. The stopped the moment they saw your form, but a group of two ‘Fallen Angels’ came out in front of the.

Their eyes widened with the one smaller one pointing her finger at your tomb, “You killed Dohnaseek! You Bastard”

A distinct click sounded through the courtyard.

+++[Twin Linked Heavy Bolter: Firing]+++
+++[Praise the Omnissiah!]+++

“Shit!” One of the Fallen screamed as the Bolter came to light, the rounds slaughtering the false ecclesiarchy like wet tissue paper. Some of the men tried to stay their ground, wielding blades of light in an attempt to defend themselves. Others tried to skillfully shoot the Bolter rounds out of the air, which did cause a couple of explosions. None of them survived however as the Bolter rounds were either too numerous to shoot down or blew up in their collective faces.

You changed your target to the Daemons that dashed for the air while bickering, “Why couldn’t Raynare be her! Damn her bit-”

“Knowledge is Power!”

They turned to face your bolter rounds, another barrage that finally hit their mark. As expected of Daemons, they were able to fly and act as the Bolter tore through limbs. They tried to fire bolts of red light at your chassis, but the explosion did not even scratch you.

As you aimed to finish them, you could feel something strike the back of your armor. Turning at inhuman speeds, you are now face to face with a man who is clearly close to appeasing Slaanesh.

“Fucking hell he’s tough.” The sadistic boy said, not realizing he is within range of many, many attacks.

“Guard it Well”

+++[Praise the Omnissiah!]+++

“FUCK!” The man cried out as you lobed his head with the side of your barrel, throwing him into the air like some demented clay pigeon. As he flew down, you could see the faces of the Daemons full of confusion.

+++[Twin Linked Heavy Bolter: Firing]+++

Your Bolter rained rounds into the man and the Daemons, for such creatures being cannot be allowed to live. The older one managed to escape into the forest, her clothes tattered and a leg severed. The same could not be said for the others as the Bolter rounds tore them asunder.

You turn your attention to the false ecclesiarchy, their rounds bouncing off your sarcophagus like Tau in melee. With accuracy you fire your bolter and slaughter the remains of their forces without a second thought. The area now coated in the blood of the damned.

You quickly scan the area with both your devices and senses, it seems the Daemon still lives. You can sense there is only a few more in the building, the taint and Holy power lessening.

You took out your Dreadlance, a powerful artifact you were gifted from the Custodes, and slashed your way towards the Daemon. Trees are but paper against the full might of the Blood Ravens given form, your might limitless.

You finally come across the Daemon, her body missing a leg and part of her stomach. Though she is doing something you never expected a Daemon to do, cry.

“Dohnaseek... Mittelt.” The Daemon cried until your hydrolics histed. She turned in a look of complete fear, “P-please don’t kill me! I’ll do anything!”

She stared to your cold eyes for a moment as you thought, “P-please…”

“Count it as an honor Daemon, you are now property of the Blood Angels Space Marine Chapter!” You monotone speaker somehow conveyed a sense of happiness.

“W-what!” The Fallen Angel looked upon you in horror.

“For the price of sparing your life you have officially gifted yourself to the Chapter. Are you still able to fly, Daemon?”

Her eyes widen, “Y-yes!”

“Then follow, Daemon, for you are now a Gift of the Blood Ravens and must fight as one.”

So you lead her out of the forest and somehow into the main room. No one was present however, but the Machine Spirits claims otherwise.

That’s when you watch the Daemon shakily fly to a podium and pointing to it, “They are under there, S-sir.”

You quickly smash it away, revealing an opening normally too small for a Dreadnought to enter. However before the Daemon could say anything you focus on your psychic powers, streams of electricity leaking down into the hole.

You probe the tunnel, seeing as it lead to something akin to a ritual room with those men running around and grabbing as many things as they could. Some throwing it into a fire while others stuffing their pockets.

Seeing as you have enough room, you teleport yourself.

You came into the room with a sudden burst of thunder, your Spear already moving as it sliced one of the Heretics down. The others reached for the weapons, half however were cut by another attack of your Spear before they could even pose a threat.

The last three opened fire, gunshots dancing off your armor without any worry. You didn’t even bother singing your chapter’s motto, the spear slicing the three in half without any resistance.

You look about the room as a smile pile of fire burns in the middle. It might take a while to clean up, but that's what Chapter Surfs are for. Though she lost a leg, maybe you could install treads on her instead.

The machine spirit answered your thought as the metallic limbs came from your back. Previously receded thanks to the design, the extend out to the items laying all over the ground for the papers and book. You yourself started with the men laying about, taking apart their robes to retrieve the unusual guns and swords.

The firearms were unusual, the bullets seemed to be salt crystals some sort. You can feel the machine spirits blessed with the power of the Emperor, but the Machine Spirits have not once been given a proper ritual or received a sacrifice of incense.

For their other weapon, the sword of light, you can still feel the power of the Emperor within it. Though as you prob it the weapon is not just a weapon blessed by the Emperor, but the blade itself was some form of basic sorcery. The item has been gifted to the Chapter, so he should not complain.

As you continue your pillaging of the room the sounds of flapping wings turns your head. Leaning on the wall now is the Daemon, supporting herself on the wall much to your glee.

“Hello Daemon, I have a few questions I need to ask”

The creature dropped to the floor, her wounds from your fight cauterized. She looked about to see the corpses in a pile you were making, nodding her head, “S-sure.”

“Excellent,” You announce gleefully, “What is the name and purpose of this Agriworld? Does the Imperium of Man have any sway here?”

You watch as the girl goes limp, her eyes wide before a quick shake of her head, “I… don’t know what an Agri-World is. But the name of this planet is Terra.”

That must mean… The Emperor Still Lives!

In all your years being stuck in a dreadnought, this might be the first time you have experienced true, unadulterated emotion. If you are in the past… so many wrongs could be right! If you can find the man, you can warn him of Horus! No, you can warn him of everything! Necrons, Orks, Tau, Eldar!

Actually, you think about it more. If the timeline is correct, the Eldar should still rule the Galaxy. If the Emperor were to launch a Crusade and kill the damned beings Slaanesh might never be born!

Of course, that only meant if the creature could confirm it.

As you turn to face the creature however a sound of slamming doors could be heard. After that a shriek could be heard with a flutter of wings coming from above.

Running down the hall is another Daemon, this one could mistakenly belong to Slaanesh if it had yet to be born. It yelled in outrage as she came across you with the other Daemon, “WHAT HAPPENED! WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!”

“Raynare!” Your Daemon yelled, “Don’t fight him!”

It seems the one who came in, a black haired Fallen Angel, was not listening as she created a spear of red light.

Raising your bolter you smile within the Sarcophagus, releasing a round that destroyed part of her right arm and her entire wing. Her eyes widen as the spins out like a downed plane, her body tumbling because of the sheer speed she was traveling. She only stopped when her body slammed head first into your leg.

The Daemon who’s you kept around watched in horror as your arms picked up the bloodied form of her comrade. With your arms. You quickly place her wounds in the hot barrel of your gun to cauterize them, the other Daemon simply asking her god for forgiveness.

You place the maimed body of the fallen angel on the wall of the chamber, the likelihood that she will be receiving augmentics extremely high. To be honest, these Daemons might be weirder than coming back to Terra. If they prove useful maybe you could capture more.

With a joy you your voice you speak in the Vox Cast, “Now Daemon, do you by chance have a Cogitator?”

Turning to the Daemon you notice her on the ground. It seems she’s been scared to unconsciousness. Well that’s a pity.

With a skillful hand you search their pockets, the one without the leg providing a miniature Cogitator. You speak to it in Binary, asking if it could reveal all it knows. The previously ignored Machine Spirits animate as someone who respected them asked.

You spend the better part of the night sifting through the Cogitator and the place at large. Seeing as there was nothing else to do you placed the Daemons on a bed you found, moving on to exploring and recovering the many artifacts scattered about.

Out of all the items you found, the thing that interest you the most was a book almost all the ecclesiarchy had on them. It, unlike the Daemons, leaked the pure faith in the Emperor, which confused you as it was writing about men and a God. Could these men have mistaken the Emperor for a God like the Ecclesiarchy?

Ignoring that you have for the most part confirmed this is Holy Terra, the Machine Spirits confirming the stars were aligned to how they were on Holy Terra.

Lastly though is the mystery of the Cogitator and Humanity. It seems they do not know of the existence of Daemons and even some even actively denying them. This was odd, but maybe the Daemons could shed more light.

The morning sun shined as you burned the corpses in Holy Promethium. Something was definitely odd, so you decided to create a pit to burn them all in and waited till morning. Of course now the pile was pretty much ashes, so you can move on with your day.

You make your way into the bedrooms, the place on the northern side of the building. Opening the door to find the Daemons slowly awakening themselves from the ruckus you’ve caused. The one who lost her legs was the first to move, falling onto the floor before assuming a Dogza position.

The other however seemed to be moving her right stub about, looking at it in painful realization. You could hear a murmur about it how ‘yesterday was not a dream’ and her face turning to complete fear.

You open the Vox Casters, the decrepit monotone voice causing obvious worry on their faces, “Good morning surfs, I have come to ask a few more questions of you.”

The one doing the Dogza moved her head up and slightly moved off the ground. Her face would belong to any trying to please an Inquisitor, “Yes, Master, what do you want to know?”

“Kalawarner-” The other was about to say something before the legless one shot her a glare.

Seeing your Surfs already forming their hierarchy you decide to ask your questions, “What exactly are you, Daemons. You act unlike any of your kind.”

Legless shook her head, “I do not understand what you mean by Daemons, milord, but we are Fallen Angels, being who have either fallen from God's grace or born from such spawn.”

You maul over those words for a moment. They sound so much like your brothers, but they are obviously as they are Daemons. Oh well, that will stand for later, “Who are you exactly, I expect that you have a name.”

The Fallen nodded, “My name is Kalawarner of the Grigori. The other is Raynare of the Grigori. We are both Fallen Angels, though neither of us are full blood.”

You look upon the two, Raynare realizing her state of affairs and presented herself in front of you. Your eyes can tell that she is scared, finally realizing you have the two of them here because you chose such a thing.
>>
Happy with the result you continue, “What is your abilities, Surfs? I want to know your full extent so you may benefit the chapter.”

Instead of Kalawarner speaking, Raynare took initiative with the guisse of a leader, “As Fallen Angels we are able to create Spears of Light. Besides that I am capable to creating bounded fields and memory alterations that keep humans out of our business.”

“Can you show me these ‘Weapons of Light’.”

Raynare gave a nod, a small rod of red light being summoned in her hand. It seems to be some form of warp energy, similar to your electricity but of a different element. If you have time to study, you might be able to replicate the effects.

”Dispel it, Raynare.” The fallen released the spear, her obedience that of a trained PDF trooper. Now that that was figured out down the list you go, “Will any more of your kin come here soon? I would like to know so I can prepare further lodging.”

You can hear Raynare curse under her breath, “Yes, there will be a Nun coming here tomorrow.” You wait there for another moment staring at her. She knew what you want, and her shoulders went limp and her voice showing sadness, “I do not believe Azazel will send any back up. I was ordered to kill a Sacred Gear user and… he will likely think the Devils caught me instead of yourself.”

“So you have committed something that could be considered an incident?”

Raynare nodded, “I was ordered to eliminate a Sacred Gear user in Devil territory. They should by all rights have the person, but I denied them a potential Servant. Such an act could ignite the 2nd great war, but I was told the boy was too dangerous to live.”

The word for Daemons popped up again, but if they were truly Daemon of the Chaos Gods this world would not exist. Its natural for Daemons to try and create bigger and bigger warp rifts, some even the size to consume planets. If that Holy book you came by had anything to say however, these beings have been around for at least 3 millennia.

”And this city, is it the Devils who govern the people?”

The Fallen shook her head, “No, for the most part the bastards just toy with the lives of mortals or enjoy making money. Ever since their civil war they’ve become either spoiled brats who like to play with their little peerages or whore themselves for money. Honestly they’re just lazy scum ever since they got defanged by their kids.”

That… is not a Daemon at all. Yeah a Slaanesh or Tzeentch Daemon wouldn’t mind playing for a few years, but sooner or later they would break and try to consume the world in their spawn. Why the fuck was it the other way around.

You realize something very important, if these beings are either as lazy and rich as Raynare describes, they will not be missing anything that disappeared. In any case, there are many more benefits to fortifying oneself and preparing assembling his forces than exterminating weaklings.

“Very well my Surfs, we shall began the process of fortifying, surveillance, and gathering of gifts. If we are to be presentable to the Emperor when I make myself known, I must have a force worthy of his approval.”

The two look at you in horror, realizing they are now completely stuck with you. It does not matter though, for its normal to occasionally receive unwilling gifts, you just need to show them why being a surf for the Blood Ravens is a nice gig.

Though now you think about it, what do you need to work on first?

It was approaching dinner time when you decided to call it quits. You placed the last brink into the wall, the building looking much newer than before. You decided that since the place was bland and pretty shitty in all respects that you would dedicate most of your time to refashioning the stone walls.

With some knowledge gifted by the Imperial Fists, you created a wall that doubled the strength of the original and left many points where you could stick a Bolter through. The walls a new shine of granite, funnily making the building the colors of your chapter. Of course you later plan to replace most of the outside with gold and adamantine, for now granite and stone would serve well.

Going to the back you can see your serfs at work. When you started, you realized that you had no material to use when building the Chapter Monastery. That’s when a great idea struck you, since your Serfs had what amounted to less powerful bolter rounds on hand they could mine the hill for resources. At first they looked at you like you grew a second head, but you assured them nothing went Just as Planned.

So when you came into the back you could see a hole in the hill, the outside lined with whole trees you used for support. This is the mine of the Blood Ravens Space Marine Chapter, Terran Monastery.
>>
Going in, the Machine Spirits gave you vision and guided you past the dirt. With your skill with lightning, you were able to turn said dirt into glass and place supports to hold it up. Further down, the dirt turned to Granite. It was soon after that you found your Serfs, both of them using light spears to carve into stone. They didn’t notice you until a quick stomp on the ground, the two turning in exhaustion.

“That will be the end of today’s work Serfs. Let us go celebrate with an evening meal.”

The two exhausted Fallen followed you up the shallow mine. You actually felt a little bad for making them work here, for a Skitarii could do the work just the same. The issue was that you don’t really have bodies to make them with. That only left his poor serfs to do the menial, if important, work.

As you walk, you could see the two struggling. So in a quick movement you picked the two of them up and carried them. The two however were just too exhausted to fight back, you enjoying the fact they are a light as the Squats when wearing Dreadnought armor.

You entered what excuse they called a kitchen. Honestly, the machine spirits in the Radiowave required three sticks of incense before it started working properly. The reason you were using a Radiowave you may ask, it seemed they only had leftovers in the fridge.

As the two started to eat the meal their eyes did not seem to light up like you hopped. The men always enjoyed their meals, “Is the meal Unsatisfying?”

The two just shook their heads, Raynare was the one to talk, “It’s just… bland.” She just picked at the meal along with Kalawarner.

While they seem use to you now, there doesn’t seem to be any spark in their spirits. You thought for a moment, the ecclesiarchy liked to preach but they are not proper believers. You couldn’t do the Inquisition’s pass time, you didn’t have a ship nor a planet to fire an Extermitise from. That just left one thing, something you knew always worked when the chapter was down.

“Ready yourselves, in an hour we go hunting for gifts.”

The two just looked at you strangely, this time Kalawarner, “Gift shopping? How are we going to even get in a mall with a damn hulk like you!?”

You take the insult in stride, insults always meant a relationship was growing, “I will show you, Serfs, Gift Shopping as a Blood Raven.”

Night fell the city of Kouh, the unsuspecting town unaware of the terror that you are about to enact. Something the Imperium knows far and wide as the time they lock their doors and prepare their shotguns. For tonight, a Blood Raven gifting heist.

You pleasantly hum to yourself as you guide your Serfs through the alleys, dodging the odd pedestrian without them even looking. Already you have already been gifted a series of things, mainly cameras from the corners of the streets.

As the three of you approach the back of the Supermarket the two Serfs are already fuming, ”What the fuck are we going!” whispered Raynare, the girl obviously not use to the season of Gifts.

”We are hunting for Gifts.”

The girl looked appalled, “We are stealing from people!”

You look at her, a Dreadnought sized man looking evenly with her, ”You are wrong. As a Space Marine Chapter, anything retrieved will contribute to the greater war effort. Extra points if its an artifact.”

You turn your attention to the thing that blocks you away from the coming stash. The door

The two of them watched as you quickly chant binary, the Machine Spirits once neglected more than willing to serve you. As such, the door popped off its hinges. The two watch as you nonchalantly pick up said door and swiftly entered. The two following just for the surreal nature.

As you enter, you make your way to the main front, looking about. A bunch of foodstuff all around. Walking over to a stand filled with fruit, you activate your vacuum sweeper. The magic of suction sweeps all the produce, the Machine spirits announcing the acquisition of ‘Apples’.

You look over at you Serfs, all but flabbergasted. “What are you doing? We need to collect the Gifts for the Chapter.”

The girls only took a moment before rushing the counter. Within moments they were removing woads of paper and bags, they rush the shelves with smiles on their faces.

As they do this, you can feel the spirits calling to you. Sneaking off into the back, you open another door to reveal a desk covered with papers. You switch your vacuum on, sucking up all the papers from the top followed by the drawers.

Looking at a picture on the wall, you remove it to reveal a present wrapped in metal. A quick burst of binary pops it open to reveal the wads of paper like cloth and a series of papers. You just switch the vacuum on and collect all the relics.

As you left the room more spirits called out to you, a small stack of metallic boxes of abused machines. You feel quite a pity for them, and acquisition them for the Chapter.

You come back to see the Serfs already have the door swept. Boxes filled to the brim with foods, and they look to be enjoying it.

”Is this everything you wanted?”

The two shook their head, picking up what they can while you load your door with anymore goods. The three of you went out onto the street, carrying an entire store’s worth of goods and money.

You take a walk through the streets, stealthy even when carrying all the gifts. The happiness in your heart at the sheer amount of Gifts is enough to kick start the Monastery without any issue. Of course you couldn’t help yourself, so you vox to your allies.

”So how do you two feel? Are you enjoying the Chapter’s main activity?”

Raynare was carrying her single arm both filled and lined with bags, her stub also carrying a bag with some skill. She sounded chipper, “Yeah, I guess it’s fun to, how you put it, ‘recieve gifts’.”

The other, Kalawarner was of course still flying. Though she was pushing a shopping cart, using the childrens seat as her own. She had a small grin, “Yeah, I should try that more often. To get a thrill just by stealing from Humans.”

Both you and Raynare give her a stare and the girl cracked in an instant, “Sorry, receiving Gifts.”

”Good. This is the Chapter’s specialty, so after the Monastery is finished we will be able to do this more.”

The two gave you a nod, taking the scenic route as a way to talk to your Serfs. You could see greenery in the distance, though you notice Raynare grow a little grim, “Is there a problem, Raynare?”

The girl nodded, “This is where I killed my target. I hope his soul has at least found peace because of our date.”

”Understood.”

As you three approach however, there is a single boy standing in front of a fountain. You were about to simply avoid him before Raynare froze. You double take the boy, noticing the malicious aura around his body. Its nothing like a Chaos Daemons, but its like hes generating the stuff.

The girl switched to a whisper, ”Im-impossible! He should be dead!”

You turn to her just as confused but for a different reason, ”Could he have become some kind of Warp Ghost?”

“G-ghost. No. The Fucker actually became a Devil.” You can feel her anger build, but something doesn’t sound right. He Became a Devil, a Daemon, after death. She might be weak, but it sounds like he was just a normal human.

”Hmm, sounds like a very nice gift for the Chapter!”

You voice snaps Raynare back into reality, the stomping of your feet more than enough to tell her ‘no, you cannot kill him’.

You look at the boy with your Witch Sight, studying the anomaly. To your surprise the kid has a fuck ton of sorceries tied to his soul and a couple on his mind. Two of them seem very dangerous, one seemed to be in his brain while the other seemed to lead somewhere towards the Devil’s building. Actually, it kind of looked like a leash.

You were basically on top of him when he finally took notice. He stared at you, right into your metallic eyes. Before he could say a word, the boy dropped onto the ground like a puppet with his strings cut. It seems severing all those connections did a little too much, but that made the child easier to move.

Your octo arms reached for him, bringing the body up onto your back. It was then Raynare ran up to you with her eyes in disbelief, “Why the fuck didn’t you kill him!”

”Killing the boy would be a waste, Raynare. Better to have an anomaly gifted to the Chapter than to allow whatever did this have its way.”

The girl was becoming fluster, but your stare seemed to quell her emotion. With a quick ‘fine’ you were on your way to the Monastery.

to be continued tomorrow.
>>
The morning sun shined into the room as you stood over the newest collection to the chapter. Upon closer look, the man appeared to be about 17 years of age and never really faced any hardships in his life. Taking off clothes, you can see a nice scar in his stomach, but that appears to be the only form of physical trauma he has received in his life.

His soul however was a different story. You are not the best when it comes to such work, but accumulated experience has made you adept in examining one’s soul. His soul was still in his body, which ruled out most forms of Daemonic possession and Daemon Hood, but it seems to be trapped within a series of eight objects.

A quick search on the Cogitator revealed them to be Pawn pieces, something used to play a game known as chess. That game however did not involve making deals with Daemons or turning someone slowly into said Daemon by using their soul as a Warp Energy generator.

For the most part however the boy is human like, but the longer the item leaked Daemonic energies the more likely the energies would backfire. Backfiring would result in the soul being consumed as the Energies turn him into a pseudo Daemon Host.

Fixes…. Well first you tried to cover his body in Purity Seal. As expected though, the seals seemed to have an adverse effect on his body by burning it. For now you’ve settled with jerry rigging some Psychic Inhibitors from the gifts you’ve received, but a long term solution will need to be found later.

It was morning when you decided to wake him up with a stab of adrenaline. It was kind of funny as he slowly stirred awake, his hand reaching for the base of his skull. Of course you wouldn’t make it that easy to remove the Inhibitor.

“Good morning, Serf. Welcome to the Blood Raven’s Monastery.”

“W-what?” The boy asked groggily. Slowly he raised his head level with the ground, turning to face your Chassis. With a quick movement he jumped from his bed and slammed into the wall, “W-WHY IS THERE A MECH!”

“I am a Dreadnought, Issei Hyoudou. I hope you are feeling better. I have done some work on your body to prevent Daemonhood.”

“D-Daemonhood!” The boy was still screaming. Before you could speak again however Raynare popped into the room, a deadly stare directed at Hyoudou. Knowling you’ve for the most part trained her, you allowed her to approach the boy.

“Y,Yuuma, how-”She rose her only hand back, giving the boy a hard slap across the face. It was a nice hit, the boy holding his face as she stood next to you.

She gave a curt bow, “Breakfast is ready, Librarian.” With that she left for the door.

“You heard your Senior, Serf, you are to come have morning breakfast with the Chapter. Follow”

The man stared in disbelief but followed as instructed.

_________
>>
The two of you entered the kitchen, the Serfs were busy cooking food for themselves and the new Gift. The boy just stood there as Kalawarner served him a dish consisting of eggs and bacon, cooked on a gifted table top oven.

Taking in the hostile stares, the boy sat down and started accepted the plate of gifts. The group eating in silence, though the boy finally snapped, “What the fuck happened! Where am I!”

The two eating just gave the boy a painful stare, it seems their hatred of Devils is much more than you have previously expected. Deciding to calm the boy, you answer, “You are currently in the Blood Raven Monastery of Terra. You have become a gift to the chapter, such is a great honor for you.”

The boy was about to rebuttal before Raynare gave him a sigh, “Don’t even bother, Issei. This… thing is much stronger than you or whichever Devil claimed you.” She was still morbid but the tone lightened a little, “Any ways it’s better if you stay here than belong to the Devils.”

The boy was on the edge of freaking out, “D-devils! What are you saying Yuuma! Why is there a mech here and why…” He stopped for a moment after getting a good look at the girl, “What happened to your arm?”

The girls just gave a sigh, “It is a sign of mercy from our new Lord. Count your stars that you only lost your hair.”

The boy started to panic as he felt his head, his bare shaved head, ”Do not worry Serf,” You start in your monotone Vox, ”Your hair was a worthy sacrifice to not becoming a Daemon of the Warp.”

“Daemon? Devil? What are you two talking about.”

You turn your head to Raynare, “Do you understand his situation, Raynare? You are the one who killed him.”
>>
The boy’s face cracked while Raynare nodded, “Yes, I understand the situation. Issei, Milord, the boy was reincarnated as a Devil. I thought you were dead when I left, but it seems you kept a hold long enough for the Devils to corrupt your corpse.” She looked down for a moment, “For that, I am sorry.”

The boy was basically hysterical, “S-Sorry! You killed me though!”

At this point the boy was going to get out of hand. With a simple restriction released, your emotions flooded the table’s occupants, ”Listen to her Serf. Your mind was inflicted by powerful sorceries, many mind altering. She will explain what happened and after her fate shall be decided.”

Raynare flinched a little at your words, “I am sorry Issei, but if I stood back you would have come into service of the Devils. Under orders, I was told to eliminate you in order to prevent the Devils from gaining a potential Longinus Class Sacred Gear.”

The boy looked troubled but your pressure kept his mind in check, “So, I guess I’m a Devil now?”

The girl nodded, “Yes, though I do not understand why your Master left you alone. By customs, you are a Stray and we acted within our rights to receive you.”

Realizing this is likely more that you hear, you decide nows a time to learn, ”Explain more, Raynare. Knowledge is Power.”

“That is about all I know.” Raynare ended.

“Shit. I’m fucked.” Was all Issei could respond with, “But what about my parents? Won’t they try and find me?”

Raynare shook her head, “If milord instructs me to, I will clean their memories of you before they start to grieve. However, we need thing to be more convincing that a Stray took you out.”

Soon you all arrived at Issei’s house, still ripe in the morning. The kid opened the door with his spare key and awkwardly invited the Chapter inside.

His parents were cooking their breakfast when the group came to the kitchen, a bit of surprise on their faces when your appeared, a great deal hunched over.

“Issei…” His father started, “W-what is that thing?”

Issei moved his hand in a presenting position, trying his best to leviup the mood, “Mom, Dad, this here is uh-”

”Dante, Mr. and Mrs. Hyoudou. We have come due to a dire situation involving your child.”

The mother was the one to speak, “What, did he join Gundam or something!?”

“No,” You begun, ”As of yesterday he has become a Serf for the Blood Raven Space Marine Chapter. You should consider it an honor for your child.”

Mrs. Hyoudou looked over at the timid Issei, “Wait, does that mean?”

The boy could not look his parents in the face, “Yeah… I’m leaving.”

The two look at eachother than quickly looked at the girls around you two. The two gave a nod and quickly grabbed their boy. Unaware to them both you and the Angels could hear, “Are you joining because of those girls!” ”No mom, they are just members.” ”How many are you.” ”Everyone whos here.” ”When you get a chance, don’t use protection.” “Mom!” “Issei, if you are going to leave, guarantee us you will carry the Hyoudou name!” “Dad!”

After that they broke up the chat with Issei’s father shedding a tear, “Kid, stay safe.”

Issei was about to say, ‘What the Fuck’, before his parents gave him a hug.

After Issei came back to your side, the kid looked at you with a questioned look.

You give Raynare a nod, “I am sorry parents of Issei, but for both your safeties I will have Raynare erase your memory completely. I pray you good lives.”

Before they could speak Raynare used a magic circle in front of them. The two dropped to the ground like dolls as Issei grew grim.

“Raynare, Kalawarner, take them to their rooms.” You received nods as you turned to Issei, “You are part of the Blood Ravens, Issei Hyoudou. Remember that our job is to be the Angels of Death for the Emperor and protect mankind. That includes your parents.”

The boy looked up to you with sour eyes, “I… understand. Its what happened to me after all.”

“Good, you are understanding. Now go collect your stuff along with anything else you can carry. This shall be the final gift from your parents.”

The boy nodded, not knowing how much you meant by final gift.

Ah the magic of gift shopping. You never really knew what its like until you’ve received gifts from a place that didn’t even know it was giving. In broad daylight no less.

So that’s where you went, the three following you as you carried a couple of crates filled with Issei’s stuff plus oven. You made sure to have Raynare erased the bit that they owned one.

As you went through the streets however there was something that caught your eye. The buzzing of thousands of Machine Spirits forcibly idle against their wills. So that’s what brought you to the back of the place called Tech Center.

Issei was the one who freaked out, “What the hell are you doing Dante! Are we going to steal from people!”

After soothing the door once again popped off its hinges, “Serf Issei, you must realize we are still in need of supplies. As a Chapter that guards humanity, we receive the Gifts in the form of resources. We are simply collecting the Gifts”

Before Issei could continue Raynare placed a hand on his shoulder, the boy helpless as you fit yourself into the building and remove everything.

First you snuck into the Cogitator Room, requisitioning the devices for the Chapter’s use along with the mug. Turning around, you fling yourself to a closet as a man takes his seat in the cogitator room. He reached for a phantom mug before falling asleep.

Quickly and surely, you brought the rest into the store. Cogitators and their fellow devices were everywhere, enough that your average Tech Priest would gush in excitement. Of course you had a number of years with the cogboys, but that body part never really came with the Dreadnought.

Quickly but surely you and the Fallen cleared shop, the people none the wiser as devices flew off the shelves. The only thing they suffered was a minor case of exhaustion and felt they should take a little nap. Issei, after a few minute of groaning about how this was not helping, suddenly got into the mood of helping Raynare with a bunch of Photo Capture Devices.

After all that, you had Raynare fix a few heads while you forged a gift receipt. Something about a clearance sale was all they remembered.

So you, along with the Angels and a Devil made your way through the streets carrying a bed, few hundred computers, and a number of other pieces of tech.

On your way, however, Issei knocked on your Chassis and was pointing over to a person in simple garb. It was then your witch sight caught sight of something you’ve yet to see on this world, a person of pure goodness. It was like the Emperor blessed her with Sainthood and any Daemon that approached her would be vanquished.

With a jump in your heart and a loud of Gifts on your back, you made your way over to the person. The angels didn’t notice your departure, only Issei was freaking out as you approached the girl. Again she didn’t really notice you until you were right above her, the girl looking upon you in awe.

She snapped out of it though and spoke a form of low Gothic, “I, uh, hello?”

Hearing a native tongue only made the catch much better, “Hello citizen, are you by chance in need of help from one perhaps as I, an Enforcer of his will.”

The girl basically lit, “Has my lord blessed me with Angel to guide me?”

You could only smile, ”Yes, milady. His will guides me through troubling times and to good. I shall do the same for you, where do you need to go?”

The girl was smiling brightly like she met a role model, “I need to arrive at the local Church! Do you know where it is Mr. Angel?”

Church? Isn’t that what Raynare called the Monastery?

“Then the curator of Mankind has blessed us, Child, for I am the current owner of the Monastery. What is your name, child?”

“Asia! Mr. Angel, do you have a name?”

”Dante, you shall become a fine asset in our fight for humanity!”

So with that you lead Asia to the group of dumbstruck Angles and a Devil. You could hear Raynare saying something akin to ‘She’ and ‘How’ but that means little to the best thing you could ever find. Someone with more potential than any of these Daemons, a pure hearted human.

As you journeyed down the tunnels you noticed everyone was a bit skeptical. Somehow you managed to slip into the trap door with an armful of relics and do so with little effort. Coming to the bottom and turned to announce to the group, ”Well then, my Serfs, today I should repair your limbs with the power of machines.”

“Uhh, Mr. Angel?” You turn to look at Asia, “I could heal them if you like.”

You tilt your head a little, “Heal them? There is no such Prayer of Sorcery that could heal lost of Limbs. I would know that.”

She scratched the floor, “I was given a gift by God with a blessing to heal people. I could try with them.”

God, that name again. You’ve had a sneaking suspicion that it is the Emperor is disguise, but you don’t know yet. But does she truly have that ability?

Looking up, you can see Raynare’s eyes widen in surprise at the Girls kindness.

>Don’t, Asia, for they are not worth such a blessing. They fought me when I first arrived and only when they accepted me that I spared them.

For such a thing to exist, surely the Emperor has not sent such a Saint to your doorstep. You turn your chassis to face Raynare, the girl having a slight tint of fear in her eyes. Turning back to Asia you give her the confirmation, “You are allowed to heal their Limbs, Asia. If such a power exists I wish to witness it.” You turn to Kalawarner who was sitting on the ground, ”You shall be first to receive the forgiveness of the Emperor.”

You had to give her credit, she was stern faced as she hovered over to the table you created. That cross in the middle of the room seemed quite nice enough for use on humanoids. The Fallen lowered herself onto the table, a stern look but also an assurance that it would work.

“I’m sorry Miss Kalawarner.” Asia said softly, “It will hurt a lot.”

The Fallen shook her head, “I do not mind, Asia. To be healed by Twilight Healing would be a pleasure.”

You watched as the Girl summons a pair of rings around her fingers, the Holy Energy flowing through them with bliss. With a sudden jerk Kalawarner started to move, only a deathgrip by you keeping her in check now. You watch as Asia started to recite prayer like the ecclesiarchy, the stubs of her legs becoming raw once more.

You couldn’t believe your eyes though, the legs you severed slowly coming back without a scar to show for it.

”By the Empruhh.”

The moment her prayer stopped, the limbs sprung forth from the stubs. Your eyes now bulging at the feat this one little girl has done.

She… She could heal the Emperor.

The Machine Spirits animated. Their excitement brewing at the aspect of healing their lord. Maybe the Emperor sent you to get her. If trained, she would be able to bring forth a new golden age of Humanity, one with the Emperor back to full health.

Once the light died down the girl collapsed, you quickly grabbing her. She appeared weakened, but just exhausted. She had a smile on her face, “Sorry, Mr. Angel. I… wanted to show you I was useful.”

She tried to achieve something outside her power to impress you. But the thing is, she did.

You picked her up and went on your way. As you passed Raynare you could see her stunned expression while Kalawarner stayed on the table. You made your way back up into the room Issei was in, the boy darting to you.

“Did something happen!” He said in a panic.

You announced in joy, ”Yes, Serf Issei. From here on we will be protecting this one with our lives.” You turn to the boy who nodded. ”I need to continue working with Raynare and Kalawarner. After that I will see how much time we have left.”

With that you went back downstairs.

I will leave you all with this. Now the question is, any ideas how you going to get back. I mean really, we gonna open a Warp portal or something? I hope you enjoy and that I captured the Dreadnought idea correctly. I feel I made him too human, but I could be wrong.
>>
But hey, you guys can take this any way ya want. Which at this point I ask again,

>Whats somethings you guys are thinking should be worked one?

Reason why is because once the base is finished, I can only think of recruiting and maybe a bit of purging. I might also speed up the DxD time line if things come to that, but then you all would lose your agency and I don't want that.

We need for the city we are in to be gifted to the chapter, while doing so we look for the Emperor and learn about ancient Terra. I doubt Dante knows much about Terra back when it had water. Also we need to indoctrinate our serfs fully into the cause of the Emperor and the Imperium.
>>3248994
I think you’re doing a pretty good job at writing a Dreadnought.
>>
Looking over your work, a small hint of pride swelled up. For Raynare, you first gave her a new arm, the arm was slender and lifelike, something you decided worked for the girl. For her wings, well you found out there were a number of nerves still there, and it was the perfect opportunity to give her Octo arms. Now she had 3 Octo Arm on her back along with the new arm you gave her.

You know they would serve her just fine, though she was currently unconscious due to the pain. You lifted her up to the bedrooms, Kalawarner sleeping as well from the experience of regrowing a limb.

You went over to check on the other two, finding it odd that Issei was still at Asia’s bedside. The boy looked up to you, jumping back saying, “It’s not what it looks like!”

“You are doing your job, Serf Issei. You must keep her safe as much as possible as she is the most valuable gift the Chapter has ever recieved.”

The boy just tilted his head, “Why?” He then scrambled for a moment, “I mean, she’s like an Angel but why is she so important?”

“Hyoudou, you now serve the Emperor of Mankind, my Father.” You could hear a ‘what’ but ignored it, “I hope to find him here in this land, if not I hope to present her when we return to 41M”

“41M?”

Hmm, should he tell the boy about the future?

You reach into the back of you suit, ejecting what seemed to be some form of cord. The boy watched in confusion as you brought out one of the Cogitator Viewers from the vacuum. After a few moments of splicing and a prayer to the Emperor you were able to produce an image. The one being viewed now was your POV during the battle of Jack is Shit at Cards.

“You see, Serf Issei, I come from a future where humanity stretched across the stars. I have become the embodiment of war to serve the Emperor of Mankind, the great leader of Mankind.”

The boy looked at the picture, “W-wait, what the hell is that thing!”

“That is a Daemon, a Bloodletter that belonged to Khorne.”

The boy was obviously agitated, “W-wait! You were saying I was a Daemon. Am I going to turn into that!?”

“I do not know. At this time and region Daemons are Corporeal, able to be killed permanently. There are also many other objects, such as the Emperor’s current ward for Terra and that you still have your soul that make me question your state. What I do know is that when left unattended the chances increase exponentially.”

The boy moved his hand over the shaved head, feeling out his cybernetics, “So that’s what these are for?”

“Yes, your condition is being tamed by psychic inhibitors like those of Sanctioned Psykers. You should be able to use the basic abilities gifted by your Daemon hood, but you will not grow into a true Daemon.” You switch the image to one of the Blood Raven’s Flag, “I should explain your new History, or lack thereof. We shall begun with the Emperor himself.”

With that you told him the basics of the Imperium, the threats she faces. After a few lines, you asked him to talk about the current world. You learn about the standard structure of the world, how the people govern themselves across it. Of course your talk lead to:
>>
The boy looked over Asia, “So you need her to heal the Emperor?”

“Yes. If we cannot warn the Emperor of the horrors to come, my objective is to return to the Imperium. If she can heal him, Humanity will return to the Apex and assume its place of dominance among the stars.”

The boy looked upon her, determination in his eyes, “I believe you, Dante. Normally I wouldn’t, but seeing someone brainwash my parents and then robbing a store kind of shatters my expectations.”

“You will learn to ignore them, Serf Issei. I have met far worse horrors than today.”

At that moment the ground suddenly shook, the attack equaling that of an artillery shell. Asia was stirring but you could already hear the commotion coming from the other bedrooms. It seems the Angels have made their recovery. Issei was now grappling Asia, trying his best to preserve her sleep.

You are under attack, what’s your plan?
>Send Issei into the tunnels with Asia, keeping the Angels and yourself to fight the intruders.

As the first attack hits you can feel the sorceries surrounding the place. The foolish magician was using lightning as their weapon, allowing you to easily shatter their attack and cause a backfire.

“Serf Issei, you need to awaken Asia quickly! We must all fight the intruders or lose all the progress we have made.”

The boy looked reluctant at first, but his will was steeled and started to shake the girl awake. You quickly leave the room, running out into the main hall to be greeted by both Raynare and Kalawarner.

“We are under attack by enemy forces! Assume a firing hole and await orders!”

The two quickly did so, you yourself peeking outside another to see a small group of four people floating in the air. With Witch Sight however, you can see three of them are under the same influence Issei was, their bodies leaking Daemonic power and the center figure absorbing it. For the center one she is a more pure form of what you are calling Devil Energy, but seemed similar to Kalawarner and Raynare that she was corporeal.

One of them was leaning on her, her clothes tattered and skin burnt. The center one looked pisted, “Attention Fallen! For killing my pawn you will suffer ultimate punishment. Come out and fight me like the damn skum you are!”

You look over your shoulder, the sight of Issei and Asia coming in. You can hear the boy mutter ‘Rias Gremery’, but he grips onto Asia like a protective shield.

Only four of them? Is this a joke to them that they could attack a Monastery with only FOUR Daemons. Monasteries are something that the enemies of the Empire like to avoid, the cost of taking one immense. But you know what, they arn’t even good enough for the defences you built.

You walk away from the hole, walking straight over to the door as the ground shaked. The look on everyone’s faces was in pure terror as you released your psychic presence, the sheer pressure enough to cause Chaos Marines to think twice.

You pressed your hand on the door, opening it to a scarred group of Daemons. You looked at the smallest of the Daemons, a quick spark destroying the her connection to their Master.

“W-what did you just did!” The Red haired leader said, “What did you just do to Koneko!”

“I severed her infernal connection to you, Daemon.”

“K-Kiba attack him while I get Konoke!” Yelled the clearly panicking Daemon.

The blonde haired Daemon ran up to you, wielding quite the blade in his hands. So, before he could slam it into your Chasis you yoinked it out of his hands.

He came down onto the ground with a grin, “That’s what you get for attacking Koneko. W-wait what!” He looked to see his blade missing, now in your possession. “How-Damn you!” The boy generated a pair of swords, the feeling gave similar to how Asia healed the fallen.

Of course you were happy to receive, another two blades ended up in your Octo hands before his attack landed. A quick look at the leader helping trying to touch your gift made you decide to finish it up. Another psychic burst and the boy went down without a hitch.

You then appeared in front of the Daemon, allowing you to get a closer look at the two who’ve received damage. You could see another Daemonic form, their true natures tainted by the vile evils of this Devil’s Conversion and mind manipulation.

The one with black hair and a great bosom weakly raised her hands at you. You could see another Sorcery, so you deconstructed the spell and snapped her link.

The last one, the Daemon with Crimson Red Hair looked up to you in fear trying to amass a ball of energy in her hands. It was of pure destruction, something even Khorne would not gawk at. In such a panicked state the attack fired.

The attack was the first attack of corruption. The many Machine Spirits, Purity Seals, and History placed such a Dreadnought in high regard. The attack did not connect as a ward of holy might protected you from the foul attack

“W-what a-a-are you…” It was obvious she was not a warrior, her age no older than 17 years. She was dressed like a human and acted like one but she was not Human, not when she controlled others with Sorcery.

“I am a Blood Raven Dreadnought from the Imperium of Man, and you have been gifted to our Chapter.”

You overwhelmed the Daemon’s senses, crushing whatever will power she had with a flick of your mind. She dropped to the ground without much else, actually surprising yourself since Daemons are suppose to have immense quantities of said will power.

In any case, you pick her up without much fanfare, though you were much more careful with the others as you suspect they were being manipulated. When you reached the doors, you could see everyone stunned at such a display of power.

“Issei and Asia, I need you two to prepare beds for three Devils. Kalawarner and Raynare, you two are to help me bind this Crimson Haired Devil.”

The group snapped out of the stupor, Issei and Asia running to the rooms to prepare bedding. The Fallen gave you a nod, running to grab the chains you’ve requested. You yourself followed the Pure and Devil, since you kind of have three gifts in hand.

They went to Asia’s room, quickly assembling the beds so that Asia’s own along with two others were readied for the three. You placed them on the beds, Issei’s eyes widening when he looked over the disabled, “W-what are they all doing here!”

“Do you know them, Serf Issei?”

The boy nodded, “Y-yeah, they are from my school. B-but why are they here!”

“It seems the creatures of the Warp had a greater hold than you thought, Serf.” You look over to Asia who was on the verge of panicking, “Take care of them, Asia. They are but victims in the games of Daemons.”

You watch as the girl’s eyes look at you with wide, concern eyes, “Y-yeah, I’ll try my best!”

“Good”

With that turned and was met by the Fallen, a chain in their hands. Deciding that it was the best course of action you took her down the tunnels.

As you finish chaining the girl with cold iron chains on the examination table Raynare mumbled, “so its really her.”

“Do you also know this Devil, Raynare?”

The girl nodded, “Yes, many would not dare crossing path with her.” She shrugged her shoulders, “Not that the girl herself is dangerous since she's just a high class Devil. Her brother is the Satan.” You meet her with silence and an urge to go on, “Right… The Devil known as Sirzechs Lucifer is the most powerful of his kind.”

“Interesting…”

The girl grew a little panicked, “Interesting? W-what do we do? I mean, can you handle someone capable of destroying a small town with a flick of his fingers?”

“We bring her to our cause, Raynare. You yourself have proven that Daemons can work for the Chapter, I will be extending that invitation to this one.”

You see Raynare raising a finger, but they putting it down as sense started to go through her. She knew you were powerful enough to kill the girl instantly, so why not give it a chance.

You approach the chained form, placing your hand above her head in order to awaken her mind. You could hear a sharp intake of breath as the Devil’s eyes opened. The first thing in her sight was your false face, her eyes widening, “That… was not a dream.”

“No it was not, Devil. I have defeated you and your minions in fair combat.”

The girl sat up, struggling to deal with the weight of the cold iron chains. Such chains seemed to sap the supernatural energy right from Devils of this world along with Holy relics. The girl looked up to you in worry, “What happened to my Peerage?”

“If you are talking about those under your control, they are now part of the Blood Ravens Chapter of the Astartes. I thank you for bringing them to us along with yourself, you all will make great additions to Monastery’s Serfdom.”

The girl blinked and switched to anger, “Serfdom! They are my Servants and Family!”

“Family does not control one another with means of sorcery, Daemon. Such an act is akin to the Genestealer Cults that plague the lower hive cities of the Imperium.”

The girl looked at you in confusion, “Genestealers? Never heard of a cult like that.”

“I am not surprise, they have yet to arrive in this Galaxy.”

“G-galaxy!” The girl soon came to a realization, “Your an alien then!”

“Do not confuse me with Xenos, Devil. I am an Adeptus Astartes, a Space Marine in service to the Emperor of Mankind. I am simply outside of my time.”

The girl tilted her head, “Outside of your time? You… your from the future!”

“Yes Daemon, and I realize some realizations will be hard for you to comprehend. Instead, I will show you.”

Before she could argue, you grabbed onto her skull. Her resistance was futile as you pressed into her skull the horror of the 41st melania and of her cousins, Chaos. Such a technique you were not skilled at, but because this one’s value must be overturned quickly you decided this was the best means.

Of course pushing your way into her brain was a two way street. You could see this girl’s most prominent memories. The most prominent was an agreement her parents arranged, an arranged marriage with a brutish boy. It was after this the girl started assembling her group, rescuing every member from near death experiences or an opportunity at a new life.
>>
You had to laugh though, the girl thought these were random occurrences. Each one however seemed suspicious in why such a valued girl would always end up so close desperate people. She however saved these people out of compassion and worry, something a Daemon should lack.

Her most recent one though was having Issei die. The marriage was being pushed forward, and she was becoming desperate. When the Angels arrived, this girl bribed their superior into modifying an order from surveying a potential Longinus User to eliminate him. She had a boy killed in desperation, but now the boy is a Daemon like creature who can only achieve forgiveness in Martyrdom.

You broke the connection, the daemon still standing from receiving visions. Her eyes were bloodshot, goosebumps showed, and breathing heavy. You had to admit though, such vitality proved she was a boon for the Chapter.

“W-what was that!” She basically screamed, “What were those things!”

“Chaos, Daemon of the Warp. It is only thanks to the Emperor’s might that they’ve yet to invade Terra.”

Her breathing steadied, “T-this Emperor. He was that golden light in the Warp.”

“You are understanding who I serve now? If the Emperor wished it, he would eradicate your kind but you still are still alive because you are but lessons for humanity.”

She looked up horrified at you, “So… why am I not dead yet.”

“I am assembling a force to present to the Emperor, for at his greatest hour one of his sons will betray him. There is also the birth of the Chaos God Slaanesh and the turbulent times after. I ask you, Daemon, are you willing to work against these forces?”

“I…” She looked scared for a moment before stealing herself, “I… can not leave such atrocities occur to any being. How many died that day?”

“So you care for the people? That day a billion as the Daemons destroyed the hive. After that we pushed the infestation back and purged the land with Holy Fire.”

The girl was shaking violently, a first hand experience from a Dreadnought quaking her mind, “I… need a minute.”

“Understood, Serf. You belong to the Chapter, which means facing such atrocities will likely occur. Maybe the Emperor will forgive you for the sins you’ve committed.”

Unable to move much, she laid back down on the table, “Sins…”

You told Raynare to stay and watch the Daemon, such a being will need to be cared and cultured. But you feel the experience has slapped some sense into her. What to do now?

>BEGONE THOT
>>
You walked up into the medical wing of the church, Asia and Issei working over the bodies of Rias’ old servants. They were puffin pillows while checking them. Though as you walked in unnoticed you could tell the boy was taking a liking to Asia. If that's good or bad its hard to tell.

It was Asia who looked up after checking the boy with a face of surprise, “Oh, Mr. Dante! Is… she still alive?”

“Yes, Ms. Asia. Her decision will determine whether or not she lives however.” You suddenly came up with an idea, “Actually, stay here. I will need your assistance.”

“Uh, alright!” The girl stood in attention as you hovered over the one with black hair and ample bosom.

As you studied the one known as Akeno, your referenced the spell used by Rias to turn her. The spell was quite simple as it used the Evil Pieces as a catalyst. After that, the piece would grip the soul and turn it into a generator as observed earlier. Of course, such a thing could prove detrimental when the victim was a Fallen Angel.

A smile adorned your face as you placed your hand over the girl’s chest, a great idea forming. Placing your hand over her chest, you channeled psychic energy and recited a prayer.

“Dear Emperor, this child has strayed from your path of glory.” As you channeled energy her chest glowed red, “Purify this being, release the evil that has sank its teeth on her soul. In the Name of the Emperor, BEGON THOT!” The evil piece flew out of her bosom and into your hand, the heat from breaking the enchantments running off of it.

You moved over to the other’s doing the same to Koneko. As you gripped her Rook though, the girl seemed to sleep much more soundly and curl up like a cat. That makes sense she is some form of Cat Daemon.

As you removed the item from kiva however it was obvious he took a turn for the worse. HIs skin turned pale and started to cough sporadically. It was just like when

“Asia, heal him now!”

The girl released her Holy energy, the pale skin of Kiba receding. It seemed your guess was right, the boy now human. As you finished you could see Issei who looked to be crying.

“Serf, why are you crying?”

“Why does he become human again. Damn bastard.” The kid said blatantly.

“You want to become human?”

The boy gave a nod, “Of course I do!” He suddenly became timid, “I, uh… want to hear Asia pray.”

“Well boy, I don’t think turning you back into a human would be a viable option.”

“Oh, really.” The boy was down, Aisa already moving over to comfort him.

“Instead, I’ve decided to turn you into an Adeptus Astates. A Space Marine.”

The boy blinked for a moment, “Wait, isn’t that what you are?”

“Yes, and while I would prefer giving you years of training, I believe growing the Chapter is more valuable. I will however place you through standard training after this operation.”

“I… can be a fucking beast like you. Hell yeah!”

“I require you to lay on the table, this process will be painful. Asia, I will need you on standby.”

“Uh, alright!” The girl said you all took over the last bed.

“Uh, is this going to hurt?” Issei said with a wry smile.

“Pain is temporary, the Emperor is eternal.”

The boy didn’t even get to say anything as you balanced the Evil Pieces in his body with psychic energy. He gave a blood curdling scream as you started to mess with his very soul.

There are enchants placed in the Evil Pieces to allow the body to change form like standard genetic engineering. All you are doing is rewriting the code, the boy’s body changing rapidly under the care of your touch.

As he changed, you searched your inventory for a Gene-Seed you salvaged from a fallen battle-brother. Without it, the boy would just be a mockery of a space marine made with sorcery.

Sparks flew everywhere as you can feel your power drain. These Evil Pieces had a number of fail safes from exploding when removed to several enchants that would kill any with a case of sudden possession. You however were built to resist those thing, Daemonic attempts at Possession were a common tactic against Dreadnoughts.

As his body grew, you noticed his lack of organs. While the transformation would make it so they should be there, you couldn’t actually do it. So you quickly cut opened his ribcage, exposing his lungs to the world. With your arms, you opened a cavity just large enough to place the Gene-Seed. You placed the seed into his chest, right where the now glowing golden light was.

”ASIA HEAL HIM!’

She didn’t even nod as the power of Twilight Healing were released. In combination with your psychic energy and the now modified Evil Piece, the boy was now twice his height and his chest made of carapace armor. You laughed maniacally as the boy became a marine in little more than an hour, though something about his soul just made it work.

As the lightning died down, the boy’s screams died with it. You quickly caught Asia in your arms, the girl barely able to open her eyes, “Is he cured…”

“Yes Asia, the boy is now an Angel of Death.”

She couldn’t really stand, so you carried her to an available bed, “Why did he do it…”

“The boy wanted to hear you pray. Now he will answer dozens if not hundreds. Of course he also wanted to be as powerful as me, but I digress.”
>>
With that, you placed the girl in her bed.

With that your night goes into mid day.

>>
>>3255420
Brainwashing should focus on eradicating the taint on his soul and make him more effective at combating daemons. Even minor warp taint is not something which is easily taken care of.
>>
The light of day came into the room, Brother Issei still sleeping due to the extent of his surgery. You had to admit the boy went through a ton of pain, but you also know he was quite literally killed a few days ago. For such things, you are not very worried about his mental health.

You could catch Kalawarner going by the door as she made her way to relieve Raynare of surveillance duties. From what you caught, you heard Rias was falling into a form of depression.

At this point, you really had to wonder if these being weren’t just a Psychic Species like the Eldar. Though they felt of the warp, you could recall Rias’ home in the underworld. It seemed similar to Camoragh in that it was in the Warp, but you knew its relationship was more akin to the planes the Chaos Gods ruled. Still, Terra was becoming more and more screwy by the day.

As you looked upon the sleeping bodies of the recent gifts, you notice one of them stirring.

You made your way to Akeno, the girl’s eyes fluttering open in confusion. As she rose you watched her testing her limbs in confusion.

“Good morning Akeno, you are the first to have awoken.”

She turned to face you, her body recoiling in terror, “Y-you! H-how are you still alive!”

“I have defeated your old master, Rias Gremory. As such, I claimed her Peerage and herself as Gifts for the Chapter.”

Her head quickly went from side to side as she searched, her face becoming more and more horrified, “W-where is Rias!”

“She is currently locked away for she is a great danger. I did not know if her proximity would affect your recovery.”

“R-recovery…” You could see her sink in despair, “Recovery from what?”

“I have removed the Evil Pieces from your bodies so her Sorceries no longer hold sway over you. I am happy to say you are now a Fallen Angel once more.”

“A Fallen…” She flexed her arms, a pair of black birdlike wings springing forth from her back. “N-no…”

She arose from the bed in perfect shape, her hands twitching in an attempt to use magic, “Turn me back… NOW!” It was on instinct that she generated a Spear of Light, though the attack helplessly struck your armor.

She watched as the attack fell helplessly against your armor, despair in her eyes as she was helpless without the increase in power. Her terror only increased as you raised your hand to her head, terror in the fact you could so easily end her life. She watched as it started to form a weapon, an attack that would slay her for such insolence.

You flicked her in the head with the Emperor’s discipline.

“Enough, young one.”

The act of discipline made her feet give way, her botox falling onto the bed with a thump. Hesitantly she rose her fingers to the mark you gave. Surprise adorned her face as she realized you did not kill her.

“You do not understand the risks with housing such a curse. You are young and suffered from brainwashing by Sorcery, so take time to recollect your mind.”

The girl just stood there dumbfounded as you looked over the others, which was a nice change. It seemed Kiba, the boy, was still fast asleep even from the panic the Fallen incited. Looking at Koneko though, you noticed a pair of catlike ears popping out of her hair. She was stirring now, slowly rising like a lethargic cat.

As the girl she rose though, her eyes started to grow wide in confusion. You just sighed to yourself as the girl was obviously having a similar breakdown to the Fallen.

With a swift motion you picked the girl up and placed her on your metallic shoulder, the girl breaking out in a cry. You patted her shoulder like one would a child, her crying becoming ever growing. You’ve had experience with this before when recently gifted psykers would panic and tare into reality, so calming a cat like Daemon would be much easier.

The crying slowly died down so you removed her from the shoulder, the child looking into your glowing eyes in wonder. You could catch a mumble from her still cracking voice, ”why”

”It is simple, you are now a Serf of the Blood Ravens. I have severed your connection from your old master and removed the Evil Piece because I cannot have you turning into one of Khorne’s Bloodletters. Hmm, why is it you cry?”

“I… I don’t want to be lonely.” The child cried.

“Lonely? Do you know who you were gifted to girl?”

The Neko shook her head in the negative.

“Then let me tell you, you have become part of the Blood Ravens Space Marine Chapter. I have thousands battle-brothers across time, and the greater Adeptus Astartes with over a hundred thousand to not even counting their Serfs. If it helps, your old Peerage is still here.”

The girl looked around with calming eyes, Kiba already up to witness your acts. The voice sounded shallow now, “Where’s Rias.”

“She is a dangerous entity that controlled you with foul sorceries and corrupted your body. Will you be pleading to become a devil once more?”

She looked upon your hull, “I… don’t want to hurt you though.”

“Oh, you cannot even come close child. Why don’t you ride on my suit? I remember the young ones always loved that.”

She was stunned wonderment as you swiftly placed her on a shoulder. You extended one of the octo arms and had it pet her, the girl resisting for a moment before she started to purr on your hull.

You turned to the last one, Kiba, who just stood there switching between Koneko and Akeno. The boy was stunned before his eyes sharpened, “Why are you doing this. Why are you being so Kind!”

”Why? It is because this one shares a relation to Humanity, as do you Kiba. My task is to protect all forms of humanity, even its derivatives.”

You noticed his eyes start to widen as he reached for his back. You could see him flexing his muscles, his eyes widening, “How?!”

Steam escaped from your chassis which scared Koneko a little, “I am the Emperor’s Angel of Death. Simple sorceries cannot stop the Emperor’s enlightenment.”

You could see him summon pairs of swords, Koneko grabbing onto your hull as the boy ran up to you.

The first pair he produced came at an X arc, though before the attack could land you snagged them from his hands. He looked at the swords in your hands with terror before generating another pair and swung, which you stole again. This transaction went on for a few more attack, you opting to hand all the swords to Koneko.

The boy was now fighting as a berserker, but clearly he’s becoming tired from whatever magic he is using. , “WHY CAN’T I HIT YOU!”

“Because you are facing the best.”

In a missing beat you flicked his head in, the boy staggering as he felt his forehead.

“Why is it you attacked me this time boy? Those heretical sorceries must have torn your mind asunder to embrace such heresy.”

You could see a fire in his eyes, “I… just want to become strong, and you fucking took that from me!”

Your form became bigger as the boy looked upon your armor, though his determination was still there.

"And what would you do for strength? Would you murder children, torture women and break men? Would you commit every atrocity until you'd have to invent new ones? Would you bathe in pools of blood from millions?"

He seemed taken a back until his will steeled with determination, “If it mean-” You didn’t let the boy finish as you flicked his head.

“Listen well girls,” Their old ally’s head rolled on the floor, “Purge the Witch, Burn the Heretic, and Kill the Daemon. He would kill millions in order to achieve his desire. I would not be surprised if he overcame the sorceries and betrayed you all for this objective. He was a Heretic, and Heretics must be purged.”

You reached over and grabbed the child from your shoulders and placed her on the ground with a pat on the head, “You are all deemed worthy for your desires would not destroy worlds. Welcome to the Imperium of Man, Serfs of the Blood Ravens.”

I liked that ending, the boy would have betrayed you for revenge. I give the guy who posted the thing a brownie point

The sun was shining through the glass stained windows as you walked out of the room with Kiba’s corpse. It truly is a pity that one of the Serfs had to die, but you needed them to understand that Heretics must be purged.

As you made your way to the back you caught Kalawarner coming up from the tunnels. The Fallen was in a panic as she caught sight of you. She quickly flew to you, “The Sitri has come into contact with Rias, she's already suspecting the kidnapping.”

“And what of Rias, has she alerted them to our location?”

The Fallen shook her head with a smile, “No, she just told the Devil they had a rough time with a Stray. We won't expect any enemy forces until tonight.”

“Then I will go and meet her. The Devil seems to have some form of loyalty.”

Kalawarner gave you a nod, “I will accompany you.”

You made your way down the staircase and through the tunnels. The dirt walls lit only by the torches and your glowing eyes. You finally make it to the room housing Rias, the girl looking content as she is bound by chains.

“It seems we have come to an agreement, Devil.”

“We have not.” She said with determination, “I… am willing to work for you. I cannot let such horrors plague anyone let them be Devils, Angels, or even Humans. I do however have some terms.”

“And those terms are?”

Her eyes narrowed in a attempt to evenher presence to yours, “I am being forced into marrying a bastard. I want your help in the rating game against him. The next is that allow my peerage and myself to still go to school, we will need to keep up the image of proper Devils.”

She blinked at you a few times, “You WHAT! HOW!”

“Such foul sorceries are nothing against the Emperor’s will.”

Her face is horrified, “Are they alright!”

“The ones known as Akeno and Koneko are still alive and at full health. Kiba was ruled a heretic and was executed.”

“Executed…” You could see her starting to steam, “Why. Did. You. KILL HIM!” She tried to launch herself at you, only the chains holding her back.

“He would have betrayed us.”

You raise your finger to Rias’ forehead, her face contorting to fear as you flick her head again. In slow motion, she landed on the table.

“Do you realize what allows Chaos entry into our realm?”

The Devil once again messaged her head, her eyes trying their best to kill you. She did not have laser eyes and even then your void shields would deny the attack. She shook her head, “No. How is a Daemons enter.”

“All it needs is someone who thinks selfishly. Let it be soldiers who run away from the trenches or a High Born Noble who thinks they themselves above the Imperium. The Heretic I slayed said he was willing to kill millions in order to get stronger, a prime candidate for Khorne’s minions.”

”No,” She stared at you in horror, “Kiba would never say that. He was family.”

“You should have been more careful in choosing your minions, Devil. He would have been among those Bloodletters and Heretics slaying Imperial Guardsman in celebration of their Bloody God’s habit of collecting skulls.”

She stares at you for what seemed like a minute. Tears rolled down her face as the thoughts of her Servant being one of Khorne’s rammed itself in her mind. Her voice was teary when she spoke next, “Was it… painless.”

“I can confidently say I was more skilled than a Lord Commissar's Bolter.”

She wiped her tears, looking upon you in determination, “My third request is to give him a proper burial. He was killed by a Stray and I was ashamed to admit it.”

“In the name of the Emperor, I agree.”

She looked up at you, through her eyes are still red her voice having been steeled, “Thank you.”

With a quick movement you sliced the metal chains. As her old Servants are now free from her control, you lead her up the tunnels and though the hall. You noticed her shaking a little upon entering the greater complexe, but you pay it no heed as you walk her into the room with Akeno, Koneko, and Issei sleeping in the corner.

You notice Koneko was indifferent, but Akeno rushed to embrace Rias. The two crying out for each other like sisters. As the two cry out you make your way over to Koneko, the abhuman looking at you with a frightened look before you pat her head.

After that you noticed that Asia was checking on Issei, the boy still sleeping from the recent experience. Your witch sight however shows something, odd. The boy’s normal aura has changed similar to that of an Astartes, but it seems to be interacting with something.

Before you could check however, Rias came to you, “I guess... you were right about Kiba. Akeno told me of what happened.”

“Good, what will you be doing now?”

The girl became sheepish, “I should head over to Sona and… well… lie to her. Though she might suspect something.”

“Do not lie to her, for that will only breed dought and invite ruin. When is this even suppose to happen between you and your Fiance?”

She looked confused at you, “Its, uh, not suppose to be for another few more years.”

“If it’s going to be a problem, I wish to eradicate it now. Set it up within two weeks.”

She was surprised at your bluntness, “Are you sure!”

“Yes, for that is an agreement I’ve made in my Father’s name.”

She looked at you with a small sparkle in her eyes, but it still drowned in sorrow, “Okay… I guess we can risk it.”

With that she, Akeno, and Koneko left. Though as she’s leaving you notice Koneko taking a glance at you.

That was an eventful morning.

So you spend the rest of the day working on the manufactorium. While thinking of places, you realise that the hill out back would likely yield the best result. So you make your way back there and start the process of clearing the hill out of resources.

Funny enough, it seems the hill had a large amount of iron in it. So after you cleared out an area of about 100 feet in the mountain you created a refinery. This was when the sun was setting, so you call it quits so your Serfs can eat.

You presented everyone some meats, mashed potatoes, and some bread. The two Fallen accepting it with stern faces while Asia prays to the Emperor, or at least that's who you think ‘God’ is. The Emperor does work in mysterious ways.

While they were eating however the earth suddenly began to shake. You could feel a sudden growth in warp sorcery as the Fallen raised their heads in panic.

Running outside, you notice the warp sorcery start to die down. Whatever spawn was creating that was easy to see, a relatively tall Devil with crimson red hair. Next to him was Rias on her knees as if begging him for something. You can feel his piercing gaze as the Devil flew towards you.

As the man landed in front of you there was only one thing you were thinking. You want those pauldrons.

The man had a scow as he looked at you, anger adorning his face, “So you are the one who stripped my Sister of her Peerage?”

“Yes, Sirzechs. Her Peerage has become a gift for the Chapter here on Terra and I did not receive a receipt.”

His anger grew as chaotic energies started to form in his hand, “Give me one good reason why I- Wait a second!” He looked upon your body in amazement as now you were wearing a pair of magnificent Pauldrons, “Those are mine!”

“They are a gift to the Blood Ravens Space Marine Chapter.”

He just looked upon you in wonderment, but only for a few seconds before he generated another ball of destruction, “You-”

“Thanks for the Gift, Sirzechs.”

You watch as he twitches his hand as if trying to grasp something. His eyes widened as his search resulted in nothing, “Did you…”

In your hands was a small ball of energy being kept in by your psychic might. Honestly it’s pretty hard, but his expression was priceless.

You can hear a chuckle coming from the man before it turned into full blown laughter, “Ahahaha! Damn Rias, you weren’t joking. This fucker’s strong.” The man steeled himself once more in a stare down, “I guess I can ask you this once, give back my Sister’s Evil Pieces and leave Kouh to never speak to her again. Do so and I will let you and your ‘Chapter’ live.”

He had a smile on his face, lunging in for another attack on your body. You were becoming tired of this game though, this Daemon in particular.

His eyes widened as you suddenly disappear from his front in a font of lighting. He braced for an on coming attack from the front, but he realized his folly when you announced,

“FOR THE EMPEROR!”

He didn’t have any time to turn as you released a turrent of lightning. This was however Electrosurge, an attack specifically used when countering unarmored opponents. By stealing his Pauldrons, you fully exposed him to the burning of his own flesh.

He screamed in agony as the lightning messed with his body, causing uncontrollable compulsions as he was bathed in Holy Lightning. You could hear a gasp from Rias who’d followed her brother, but if this Devil is only this dangerous you won’t need to worry about her.

After another 6 seconds your lightning was thrown off with a release of Daemonic power, ”eNoUgh!” What you saw was Sirzech, his clothing gone, his skin charred, and an epic erection.

“AurA of DEstRuctIOn”

DEATH TO CHAOS, FOR THE EMPEROR
>>
The Daemon Prince was about to come in for an attack, but terror completely engulfed his body. It is unusual for a Daemon of Khorne, and definitely a Daemon Prince to feel this fear. It was something primal that such a being could still remember even after losing his soul.

“I did.!”

+++[Psyker Hood: Maximum Output]+++

The earth started to shake as you rose your hands, first was only dirt and debris but soon entire pieces of ground lifted. Your eyes glowed a sharp clean white as you yourself lifted off the ground. The Daemon was only dumbfounded at the power you displayed.

“And I agree Daemon, we should end this. Knowledge is power, Daemon!”

+++[Dreadspear: Primed]+++

With that you flew directly at you, Dreadspear in hand. He didn’t even try to move as the spear impaled him through the chest, the loud screech as the Daemon took a Major Wound.

“GUARD IT WELL, FOOL!”

With a thrust of your blade, you pinned him into the ground. He landed with a great thump, the ground itself disintegrating as he tried to lift judgement. You however started firing the Bolter if said spear into his chest, another loud scream as you helplessly pinned a Daemon Prince.

Decided enough was enough, you flung him into the air like a clay pigeon. The Daemon was able to sustain flight, but only after you sliced off his right arm with a skillful cut.

He sat on the ground and again attempted to charge another ball of Destruction, though a barrage of Bolter rounds shattered his remaining arm and left him without any chance of fighting back.

Curb stomp, after any questions we may have. DENY KHORN HIS SKULL. Then incinerate the body thoroughly.

Question time follow by said curbstomp and immolation
>>
I see questions then Curbstomp.

>Whats your questions.
>>
>>3262958
what position you have here ? there are others of your kind ? and where you come from ?

---

wait he is a daemon of khorne now ? With is symbols and all ?

then i change my questions to

how did you manage to get here warp spawn ?
who has summoned you ? and where ?
>>
>>3263014
You notice a lack of symbols, he looks like one though.
>>
>>3263019
ok.

>what position you have here ? how many cities have fallen to chaos ? what kind of powers you have ? who has summoned you beast ? and where did the foul ritual begin ?

shoot some times with the bolters after every questions.

then curb stomp and immolation.
-----

he could have some small khorne influence.
maybe it s better to wait a bit for other questions.
>>
>>3263019
The Chaos Gods are yet to be born I think. So no symbols, but the idea is sort of there still, waiting to happen.

khorne, nurgle and tzeentch are in a "primitive state" right now ?

(after all war for example is an early thing in every civilization)
>>
>>3263090
I don't think they are actually "born" yet. The essence they will be made of is not yet at critical mass for sapience. This guy is more like someone who soaked up as much violence and harmfulness as he could than a proper Khornate I think.

Hey, do you think we could shape what they spawn as to be less horrifying? The reason they were so awful is that they were fed some terrible things after all.

With amighty thump you pinned his chest to the ground, the Daemon now gurgling blood as you looked into his eyes. To think that Chaos would find their way onto Terra once more, even with the Emperor’s shield blocking it. As you twist the Dreadspear, the Daemon Prince let out a scream.

“Tell me Daemon, what is your position in Khorne’s army? Why in the Emperor’s name are you on Terra!”

The creature flinched as you vowed to the Emperor’s name, the Daemon looking… Confused, “WhO’s KhoRnE?

You pressure the spear into his chest, another wail of pain brought on by your next question.

“How did you get these powers, Daemon?”

The creature looked, saddened, “sO mUch blOOd. iT WaS SooooOOO muCH of iT.”

You twist the spear further,

“And?”

“i hEARd A VoICE. hE dIdN’t wANT aNYthing bUt kILL. I bECAME hIS chAMPION aFTER aS i KiLLed So MAny.”

“Stop it!” The scream came from Rias who looked upon her brother and yourself in horror, “Just… end it.”

The Daemon Prince looked upon Rias in horror, “rIAs…”

She looked upon him in determination, “Brother, you don’t know what you are. You have become something much worse than the Old Satans, you would doom Terra.”

The creature looked in disbelief at the betrayal. Before he could say anything more though, you ignited his body with a torrent of electricity.

“In the name of the Emperor, Purge the Heretic, Burn the Witch, Kill the Daemon. I sentence you to death, Daemon Prince of Khorne.”

With that you disintegrated his body, the Daemon Prince was no more in this Realm. Rias lost her footing as you stood there in a staunch guard. For such a creature to exist, something must have been gravely wrong. Was the Emperor’s protection failing?

I leave you all with this. Don’t know if there will be another thread. I wouldn't mind if anyone want to adopt this since I am moving back to my NEET Weapon Quest, but this was fun.

I will be resuming the NEET quest in a few days once my eyes stop trying to kill me.

Ok.

Besides i think that they could or will send their servants here if they sense what we are doing (tzeentch could notice or maybe no : making a portal and return to our time for heal the emperor or find it here, inform it and remain here helping him) .

Or their servants could just arrive here in a random way like us, from the orbit.
Not sure but probably no. We can t stop everything that influence the warp, and in a sense those are their "default" appereance. A xeno on another planet could view them with one more horn, but they would remain more or less the same. Also a mild change in look would not change their objectives and behaviour.
At least not fully.

And if we try it on a daemon that look could just reset it self for what we know, and we would just waste energy in mantain it on the deamon we have decide to modify.
thinking about isn t the war in heaven the moment where they become far stronger thanks to all the war, suffering ecc ... ? obsiouvly the first 3. Afterall is an event on galactic size, and it did hit the warp badly and boost chaos power.

When the war in heaven started ? Before mankind become civilized ?

Good to know.

It was a nice quest, if you will continue write it in your next quest or somewhere visible.
>>
>>3263229
This was fun, I wouldn't mind if you threw this at us again when you need a break from the Neet Weapon Quest as well. Looking forwards to when you're active again, and hopefully my mouth stops screeching at me about how bad it hurts by then.
>>
I enjoyed it....Sad that it will not be continued.
>>
>>3264090
It might be, just not as his main quest if it is. Honestly though having such a good QM would make pretty much anything good.
>>
>>3264313
Yeah but I remember snek quest, and I remember the fatebreaker, both secondary quests that like this one were good....But have been on hold that long the authors just wont go back to them.

this bears the pattern

One more thing, if anyone could go ahead and archive this. The website hates me for some reason.
