Twelve years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza’s army. Since that fateful day, the Saiyans have earned their title of warrior race as Freeza’s most powerful soldiers, leading the charge onto hundreds of worlds and destroying those who oppose Lord Freeza’s rule. As mighty conquerors crushing all resistance, the Saiyans have earned their reputation as Freeza’s most powerful subjects. The larger than life tales of the Saiyans, and especially the Super Saiyans, have spread to every corner of the universe. With the Covenant’s failed 30,000-warship siege of New Salda televised live across the civilized universe, as well as the more recent demon invasion transmitted out live, the Saiyans have earned their reputation as the strongest fighters in the universe.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 743. You the players control Karn, a Saiyan with a base powerlevel of 3,643,000, a general in Lord Freeza’s army, mate to Meloka, father of six, chosen champion of New Salda, wielder of the Stand Dragon Force, and as “The Dragon of New Salda” you are the symbol of the PTO’s military might across the stars. But for now it seems like there is a peace settling, the likes of which the Saiyans have never known. Other than their missions, which pose little threat to the powerful Saiyans anymore, life has settled into a more peaceful era. But how long will this peace last?

Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After your kids returned to New Salda, two weeks after you killed the demon Trigon, you were challenged by the newest Super Saiyan, Cele. After a short bout, you encouraging the young woman to master her power and reach even higher levels, you met with King Vegeta IV and Emilia. After advising the king on what he should do regarding the girl’s family returning in a month to take her back, you received worrying news: the Covenant are again approaching.

“Are you sure?” Vegeta asks his subordinate Beetz through the scouter. “Four Covenant warships?”
“Yes, my king.” she replies. “Their leader, who goes by the name Chief Relezeus, wishes to speak with you. And Karn, too.”
“Wait, why me?” you wonder, Vegeta turning to you. You nod to the king, you both focusing on your ki sense. You soon pick up numerous powerlevels from the far range of your senses, millions of Covenant. But they’re not like the ones you’d fought during the Siege of New Salda, many of these seen far, far weaker.
“Are you sensing that too?” Vegeta asks you after a few moments, you nodding. “Well, what do you think?”

“I say kill them before they get close.” Meloka says, a hard edge to her voice. “They can’t breathe in space, let’s take them out before they can cause us any more trouble.”
“We could.” King Vegeta says, in a tone that makes you think he wouldn’t condone it. “But they might not be soldiers. They may have been sent with something to bring to us, a gesture of goodwill on behalf of the Kai. Or, they could be the rebels.”
“Rebels?” you asked, confused. “Rebels from what?”
“The Covenant.” Vegeta says, then explains further. “Their colossal loss here, followed by you taking the Arbiter down in a deathmatch, has weakened the Covenant’s grip on it’s territory.”
“So they could be defectors.” you say thoughtfully.
“Possibly. Or, they could simply be loyalists pretending.” Vegeta says, brows furrowed in thought. “Even a single one could be a spy or a loyalist, or even worse a suicide bomber.”
“I still say we should’t take the chance.” Meloka says unhappily. “I don’t like this.”

Well? What will you do?
>Not chancing it, you’ll destroy them from here right now

>You and King Vegeta fly out to their ships, meet face-to-face before they enter the atmosphere

“I don’t like this either.” you say, pondering. “I say we should see what they want, but I don’t want the Covenant stepping foot on our world.”
“I agree entirely.” King Vegeta says, nodding once. “Karn, if you would come with me. We’ll go and meet with these visitors ourselves. Beetz?”
“Yes sir?” she replies.
“Let them know to halt their ships right there.” he says, full of authority. “Karn and I shall come up to meet with them in-person.”
“Of course my king.” she says. “Shall I have your ship prepared for departure?”
“No, that won’t be necessary, Beetz.” Vegeta says. “Moniter the ships for me while we’re up there, and if they take action let me know.”
“Of course.” she says. “I’ll have the Guard on standby if you need them.”
“Thank you Beetz.” King Vegeta says, then turns to you. “Ready?”

“Of course, King Vegeta.” you say, crouching in preparation to leap. You and Vegeta both leap into the air, quickly flying up and out of the planet’s atmosphere. You both reach the ships in mere moments, King Vegeta leading you to a door on the left side of the vehicle. The door opens, you and Vegeta entering. He presses a button to seal the door, the room reatmosphering after a few seconds. Once the room is again pressurized, you and the king take a breath as a dozen heavily-armed Jiralhanae enter the room.
“King Vegeta. General Karn. Come with us.” the largest of the Brutes says, eyeing both of you suspiciously. You nod to him, the strongest turning and leading the both of you. He leads you down several halls, his men surrounding the two of you as you extend your ki senses, finding the largest powerlevel up ahead behind a large door. As you all approach it slides up and, revealing the ship’s bridge. The captain’s chair swivels, revealing a large, red-armored warrior Jiralhanae with a hammer by his side. “My Chief, I present King Vegeta and Arbitersbane Karn.”

“Greetings, Saiyans.” he says, rising from his chair. This creature is tall, your head only coming up to it’s chest. “King Vegeta, I have official business with you. But first, you. Saiyan Karn. I watched you fight with honor, and my father spoke highly of you. Yet when you fought him in the failed invasion, you fought dishonorably. Instead of an honerable duel against him, you sent some demonic abomination against him, and I will reclaim his weapon and avenge his honor!”

If they are rebels, we should ask them for the current state of other Covenant rebel factions. If we attack the covenant before they can deal with the rebellion, we will not only fight a weakened enemy, but we'll also get help from the inside. Another plus of allying with an alredy recognised lider in a foreign territory is the political stability it will provide after the war ends (we put one of the heads of the rebellion, one loyal to the PTO, as the new Covenant's lider)

“He was your father?” you ask, the muscular warrior nodding angrily. “He was a man of strong convictions, I respected him to the end. My only regret was our duel was interfered with.”
“You mean by that grey demon in the garish colors?” he asks with a growl.
“Yes, but that was not the only interference in our duel.” you say. “That aura surrounding your father was demonic. A time-traveling demon tried to make him strong enough to defeat me.”
“Time travel? Seriously?” he says in disbelief. “You really expect me to believe you when you say time traveling demons are the reason my father is dead?”
“No, your father is dead because he lost.” you say, the warrior visibly angering. “But someone wanted to alter our fates. Or more specifically, they wanted to use your father as a tool to kill me. Why the Time Patrol sent a Patroller to help is beyond me though. Their boss admitted to me she nothing more than me and my entire race destroyed, after all. But if it means that much to you, here.”

At that you unsling the hammer from your back, holding it out to him with one hand. He looks between his father’s weapon and you, brow furrowed in confusion. After a few moments he speaks to you, clearly uncertain.

“You... You’d just hand it over?” he asks, you nodding.
“Look kid, your father was an honerable warrior, and I respect him for that.” you say with a sigh, him reaching for it then hesitating. “I gave him the option to surrender, and instead of giving in he fought to his very last breath. If your father’s weapon means that much to you, then I’ll hand it back over to his family.”
“...You are a far more honerable man than I thought.” he says, pulling his hand away. “But I would still like to face you in combat. Hammer to hammer.”
“Alright, let’s do it.” you say. “But you should handle your official business with King Vegeta IV first, then we’ll go a round or two.”

“Hmph, very well.” the alien says, then addressing King Vegeta. “King of the Saiyans. I come to you in desperate need of aid. My people rebelled against the Prophets’ rule, and they sent their new Arbiter and their Zealots after my people. We’re all that’s left. I come here with nowhere left to go, and no one else to turn to: will you shelter my people here?”
“What?” You and Vegeta both ask, confused.
“Did I hear him right?” Vegeta asks you telepathically. “What should I do?”

as for infiltration, i'm kinda curious as to what kind of intrigue could be gleaned from spying on a saiyan government.
Most of all we do is either mass training or rebuilding infrastructure from the last (of MANY) invasions. I'm not sure saiyans have time in the day to be doing anything else worth spying on in the first place.

>>3246965
Hey GD, what is Karn's paycheck like as a General? He must be getting paid a lot of money now, right? We've yet to see a PAYCHECK! FRIEZA WHERE'S OUR MONEY?! DO SAIYANS EVEN HAVE BANK ACCOUNTS?!
>>
I will say this.
There could be one good reason not to accept them onto new salda.

The covenant may use it as an excuse to restart the war, which we don't want.
However, they have other options if we can't take them in.

Arctus' crew was killed, and he needs a new fleet.
And then there's Boros' dark matter pirates, who would be easily able to accept their number if arctus couldn't. They'd be well accepted there.
>>
>>3246977
Saiyans get paid in ships, armor, and food.
Frieza handles our personal finances as well, but I assume we have some access to the PTO Treasury
>>
>>3246977
We also make bank on our Vox deal and all the products associated and copyrighted.
>>3246983
But it's more of this, if he doesn't have Vegeta help him with our personal finances from time to time. Karn, and our family in general, don't really do much to warrant pulling out the wallet. And even then, if we did, our stacks would be as long as, or even longer, than our dick in Berserk form.
>>
>>3246981
Our powerlevel is up to a fucking Billion at peak right now. Let them come. We'll glass the High Charity from where we're fucking standing.
>>

>>
>>3246977
>>3246983
SOMEONE, either Freeza or Vegeta, probably Freeza, is being paid massive royalties from everything with our name or face on it coming from the Vox media and merchandising empire. I'm sure Karn is VERY wealthy, just doesn't really care at all. Not even enough to find out what a bank account is. He's got his ship, his armor, his food, and when he wants something or for something to happen, everyone around him scrambles to make it so, if he doesn't just do it himself.
>>
>>3247003
That'd be frieza and vox.
Karn pays for himself by existing on camera.

“I think we should ask Freeza before we decide.” you say out-loud, King Vegeta nodding. “Give us a moment.”
“Of course.” he says, returning to his command chair.
“Lord Freeza, can you hear me?” you think, your friend responding immediately.
“Of course, how’ve you been?” Freeza asks amicably. “Your kids made it back today, right?”
“Yeah, they’re back, but we’ve got a problem.” you reply.
“Oh?” Freeza asks, Vegeta replying to him.
“A fleet of four Jiralhanae warships have arrived here at New Salda, claiming to have broken off from the Covenant and are seeking asylum. Vegeta says. Their leader wants our protection for his people as, the Prophets’ new Arbiter started slaughtering them.”
“Wait, a new Arbiter? Already?” Freeza asks, confused. “Hmm, it seems they’re ready and willing to share their information with us. If they’re willing to share the information they have, we can protect them. However, I’d advise against letting them out amongst the general population. I’m sure many of your people wouldn’t hesitate to attack them.”

“I’ll keep my people in line, if he does the same for his.” Vegeta replies. “Thank you for your time, Lord Freeza.”
“Of course, King Vegeta.” Freeza says, not even mocking his title as Vegeta ends his connection, speaking to the chieftan. “As for you, Karn. Keep on your toes. Something seems off to me about this whole affair to me. I’ll be sending along a few extra men to help you manage them and get them settled in, as well as keeping a closer eye on them.”
“I’ll be fine Freeza.” you reply. “They don’t have anyone anywhere close to strong enough to fight me here.”
“Don’t go getting cocky now.” Freeza admonishes you. “If you get killed by an assassin before I’ve mastered this Golden power and we’ve had our rematch, I will never forgive you.”
“I’ll be careful.” you reply, ending the connection and opening your eyes to the Jiralhanae chieftan kneeing before King Vegeta, their faces near-level as he holds out his weapon in offering.

“Thank you, gracious king.” he says, seemingly-sincere. “I swear my loyalty to you, so long as you protect me and mine. I am at your service.”
“Rise, uhh.” Vegeta says, stumbling. “Forgive me, but what is your name?”

“You may call me Tiveus.” he says, rising back up to his feet. “Tiveus the Strong.”
“I welcome you and your people to my world.” Vegeta says, then lifts his hand to his scouter. “Beetz, can you hear me?”
“Of course, my king.” she says, you hearing her through your scouter. “Heading back?”
“Yes, and we have some guests.” he says. “Have the Guard ready to greet us when we land, we’ll be touching down on the Glass Fields.”
“Yes sir.” she says. “Shall I inform General Nappa as well?”
“No need, I’ll tell him myself.” Vegeta replies, you thinking to Meloka.
“We’re coming down, with guests.” you tell her, knowing Meloka won’t be very pleased with this. “Vegeta’s bringing his Guard out, could you be there too?”

“Of course.” Meloka replies without hesitation. You then end the link, watching Vegeta direct the ships to land down where the Covenant siege did the most damage. Every time you look upon the Glassed Fields, you feel your blood boil. When the Covenant used their warships’ beam cannons to scour the planet’s surface, they actually harmed the planet itself. When assuming your Champion form and connecting to the planet’s ki, you can feel the damage those weapons caused. Their weapons may have caused near-irreparable damage to the planet, the Guardian telling you that it would take years of sustained effort to fix the damage those lasers caused. Vegeta guides the ships down, as you approach the plains you see his Royal Guard aren’t the only ones waiting there.
“This could be bad.” Vegeta says, seeing a fight breaking out between several dozen Saiyans and the Guard. “Let’s go!”
“Right!” you say, following his rush back out the way you came. You two quickly exit the ship, coming face-to-face with the riot.

“Get the hell outta our way!” a large, unfamiliar Saiyan roars, knocking one of the Guard on his ass. “We’re killing those bastards before they kill us!”

We should assist the Guardian into healing the planet, maybe we lack god ki, but we have plenty of mortal ki and a direct conection to the planet's "soul", we could at least give the guardian some of our ki while he uses his god magic, like a giant battery.

Ideally healing the planet would be something we bring up to Shin.
The vast majority of the damage caused is a result of his inaction.

“Your orders?” you ask, Vegeta turning to you as the riot continues.
“Stand down.” Vegeta says after a moment with a sigh. “I’ve got this.”

You nod to Vegeta, your king taking a few steps forward.

“ENOUGH!!” he roars, voice cracking noticably as he becomes a Super Saiyan. As he transforms his sudden explosion of power sends out a powerful shockwave, knocking the guard and soldiers all over as one as you remain in place, crossing your arms. “And just what do you all think you’re doing?”
“But that’s- We’re just-“ the large one says, Vegeta shouting him down.
“Attacking my Royal Guard for doing their job?” Vegeta says, the large Saiyan quieting down immediately. The king shouts them all down, ending the mob’s preemptive attack before it can truly begin. “If you can’t even stand ranks as a foreign diplomat arrives on-world, you can get the hell out of here.”

“YES MY KING!” they all shout as one, and in twenty seconds have formed ranks behind and beside the Royal Guard, forming a path from the ship’s main entrance thirty bodies long. Several look worriedly to the king, but you notice many look to you instead. You simply remain where you are,
“Hmph. That’s better.” he says, then turning back towards you. He walks back inside, you remaining and glaring at the gathered Saiyans. As you stand there Meloka flies down, landing beside you. You embrace your wife, telepathically catching her up on everything that’s happened. She turns to the gathered Saiyans with a withering glare, several seeming to shrink under her furious gaze. However, before she can say anything the door opens again, Vegeta leading Tiveus and several of his men.
“Alright, listen up!” Vegeta shouts, the guards and Saiyans all falling silent. “This is Chieftan Tiveus. He and his people have rebelled against the Covenant, who then tried to destroy them. They will be staying here for the time being as my guests. I want all of you to spread this news, and that this area of the Glass Plain is now off-limits without my express approval. Is that understood?”

“Yes King Vegeta!” you shout, immediately saluting and setting the example. The Guard and the other Saiyans all fall in line, everyone saluting as one. Then the non-Royal Guard Saiyans all take off, doubtlessly moving to follow their king’s orders.
“We’ll be discussing for awhile, I’ll let you know when it’s done.” Vegeta tells you.
“Alright, just ask if you need anything.” you say, you and Meloka lifting up into the air as well.

While I'm here, has GD ever actually said what made Meloaka a yandere for Karn?

Also I feel like people have been riding the Berserk train for so long that they forgot all the downsides GD said came with it, and if it replaced our regular SS then we literally have no way back.
>>

Long ago ye newfag, the tale was reveled, read the damn archive.
The other half is correct though, but fuck common sense.
>>
>>3247435
I read the thing ages ago. The only thing I remember was that Karn saved Mel once during the whole Saiyan v (whatever race Baby came from). But I remember GD implying that wasn't all, I'll look through again and see if something else was revealed later or if my memory is just fucked.
>>
>>3247426
Karn saved Meloka's life, and her entire village, back during the Tuffles War. She's been a Yan ever since.

Oh no, we lose access to regular SS, and get access to Legendary Versions that literally double the PL modifiers, so sad.
>>
>>3247426
Haven't forgotten, I'm just cool with losing our regular transformations for better ones.
>>
>>3247452
Considering the downside to Berserk is mental degradation and a loss of lifespan, yeah.

I wouldn't mind it if we got Primal and then leveled Berserk but it seems suboptimal unless GD has modified how Berserk works, even if only at the most basic level.
>>
>>3247461
The Mental Degradation isn't nearly as bad as your making it out to be. We've been fine so far, and with further mastery, that issue will get even smaller.

I don't recall a loss of lifespan ever being an issue, but if so then whatever, we can just learn Hamaon.
>>
>>3247476
>>3247461
There was no issue to life span, unless your talking about staying in berserk mode forever, and referencing there being too much energy. But I think we got past that point already.
>>
>>3247461
>and a loss of lifespan
When did GD say that?
>>
>>3247476
Just to be clear, I don't mind going for Berserk over Primal atm. I've just not seen a single person even debate about it and it really seems as if people took one look at the new SS forms and were instantly sold.

Anyways I don't think the mental degradation is too bad since we've only got Berserk 1. I'm just wondering how the new SS forms would work if we get to Ascended. Would even more of that energy bleed into the form? Would it become stronger or become like a berserk-lite?

These are mostly speculation but I think it's good to think about these things since it seems that we're moving from Primal being the go-to, to Berserk.

Also really hating the captcha system making me redo it every single post.
>>
>>3247493
Ah you missed it. GD posted a Transformation Pastbin on his twitter and...never added it to the quest, I'm guessing because it's still not complete.

Legendary SS, has a PL Multiplier of X100, same as our regular Ascended now.

Ascended Legendary SS, has a PL Multiplier of X200, double that of regular Ascended.

If we ever get/use Legendary SS3, then it's PL multiplier will be X800, double that of the regular SS3.

And, assuming the trend keeps up, Legendary Primal has a PL Multiplier of X2000.
>>
>>3247517
Found it. Here's the Transformation Pastebin.
https://pastebin.com/dVT4e4FR

Also GD. Your missing the Namekian Fusion Technique on there.
>>
>>3247493
I'm pretty sure GD outright said that, if there were any risks of actual mental degradation, he'd let us know before we went down that path, and that we'd only really be at risk of that if our attempts to train the Berserk line went exceedingly poorly.
>>
>>3247493
But we did talk about it. For like, three threads in a row.
>>
>>3247519
>Also GD. Your missing the Namekian Fusion Technique on there.

But the forbidden fusion isn't a transformation. It's a fusion. The result depends.
>>
>>3247519
>Potara fusion- (Fighter 1 x Fighter 2)

Noooo, no no nooo, whyyy. Why do you want the PLs to go into the septillions, GD. Just make it (F1 + F2)*50 if you want it to trump fusion dance.
>>
>>3247519
Most of that seems good, but, uh, potara might be due for a nerf. I know the boost is meant to be significant, but multiplying the two participant's base powerlevels is absolute madness. Even two powerlevels of one million fusing together would end up having a powerlevel of 1 TRILLION, and that's before transformations and everything.

“Tatsu’d said he was taking little Tatsu and Tomi to transform into Oozaru for the first time, let’s see how it’s going.” you say, Meloka nodding. You both take off, reaching out with your ki sense to find Tatsu. You then focus your mind, telepathically reaching out to Tatsu when you can’t find him among the sea of equivalent powers. “Hey, have you started yet?”
“We’re just now getting started, come to the northeast if you want to join us.” Tatsu replies, you sensing over a dozen powerlevels suddenly skyrocketing. You and Meloka fly off, leaving Vegeta and his Royal Guard with the Jiralhanae Chieftan and his people. After a few moments you’ve made your way to another clearing, seeing the Power Ball fying overhead. You stared at the ball a little too long, feeling the surge of primal power coursing throughout you. You try and fight it for a few moments, but it’s too late. You’ve absorbed too much of the artificial moonlight, you unable to stop your transformation.

“GrrrrrRRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR!!” you roar out, and for the first time in several years you again transformed into your birthright: a mighty Oozaru!
“Couldn’t resist going Oozaru?” Meloka asks, landing on your shoulder as you pound your chest. Looking around you see that Tatsu and several weaker Saiyans have all become Oozaru, Tatsu’s giant form just as scarred as his usual form.
“Glad you could make it.” Tatsu says with his booming voice. Despite having not used this form in years, your practice in controlling your Berserker rage makes controlling the regular Oozaru a walk in the park. “Alright greens, listen u- Tatsu! Tomi! Quit fighting!”
“ROOAAR!” your youngest son roars, shoulder charging into his sister. Tomi grabs onto him, the two rolling around and toppling several smaller trees.
“I’ll handle them.” you say, stomping over to your kids so Tatsu can focus on teaching the older ones. You follow them as they clumsily brawl, catching up as Tomi kicks her brother away. “Alright kids, that’s enough. Come on back.”
“ROOAAAR!!” Tatsu roars, and despite being half of your height pounds his chest in challenge.
“RAAAWWR!!” Tomi roars as well, copying her brother. Seems neither of them held onto their minds when transforming, what will you do?”

Well?
>Use their tails, keep grabbing them until they listen

Thread 21.
Hey, Aisha." you say, dropping to a knee in anticipation.
"What is it, are you offering your surrender?" she says, looking smug. "If so then I accept."
"Not quite." you say, easing your power back to a regular Super Saiyan. "Want to know why we learned how to make fake moons?"
"Uhhh?"
"Because we transform by the light of the moon too!" you shout, leaning back and staring into the Power Ball.

https://youtube.com/watch?t=71s&v=lX-iQi5qudU

You feel the familiar rush of primal energy as your body begins to change. Ypu feel your snout enlongate, teeth growing sharper and larger, body expanding as golden fur begins to grow all over your body. The pain of your injury sharpening your will into razor-like focus, you chain the energies together to you in your mind. You force the two similar yet incompatible sources of power to cooperate, and you feel something click inside. Like two magnets lined up correctly, they merge. You feel your strength swelling impossibly, insanely.

"RRRROOOOOAAAAAAAAR!!" you bellow out as the transformation completes, waves of Ki radiating off of this form. An instinct warns you that you may have only mere seconds to act, and you feel this unimaginable strength immediately beginning to fade. You look down at Aisha, who's trembling in fear of your current power.
>>

Yeah for a few seconds, chances are it wasn't long enough to maintain the form and keep it in control for us to hit ssj4
>>
>>3247807
Counterpoint

>We haven't used it in years

>We lacked the basic control to not go oozaru

>We would have a bigger swell of power, that might be harder to contain

>There's no reason to go golden, or tell other saiyans about golden rn on our planet, as if it's a completely safe thing as I'm sure cele will try it, and fail to control it
>>
>>3247810
*Shrug* we still used it while in control. Honestly, considering every saiyan knows how to control their Great Ape except Goku, here it's probably less a matter of 'Control The Rage' and more of 'Control and Maintain The Power' thats the issue. A difference between emotional/mental control and that of stamina.
>>
>>3247824
>>There's no reason to go golden, or tell other saiyans about golden rn on our planet, as if it's a completely safe thing as I'm sure cele will try it, and fail to control it
Yes there is, unless you missed it, this is the fastforward/timeskip arc, and everyone's going to be doing mad training as time passes. We want all of our SS friends to know Golden Oozaru is a thing, so they can try for that, and not the shitty SS3.
>>
>>3247832
then statistically speaking, controlling it isn't the problem, according to that post it basically holds a similar drawback to super saiyan 3 in that is chews energy like no ones business, so we need the energy to maintain the form long enough for it to condense into the ssj4 state, I think at this time with how much we've grown since the last time we've achieved that form, we might be able to do it.
>>
Wait if we can use golden oozaru barely due to low ki, and legendary pumps out too much ki, does that mean emerald oozaru would be perfect balance?
>>
>>3247843
Yes but at that point you're taking the balls-out rage of BOTH forms, on top of the bodily strain of doing that. AKA ripping and tearing both your body and mind.
>>
>>3247839
That's just my guess on it, so I could be wrong, and its less that it drains massive amounts of Ki, and more then it generates So Much Power, that like Freeza's Golden Form, unless you have a high enough base PL then you just can't maintain it.

Also we can't YET. GD said we could focus on training Berserk, or Golden Oozaru, and that if we rolled well we MIGHT get Primal. We can get it in the future, but we couldn't reach Primal right now.
>>
>>3247856
On a sidenote, what I'm wondering is if we're still able to use proper Berserk after it bleeds into our regular SS forms for Legendary. It'd be weird to suddenly replace it with a form under half it's max power.
>>
>>3247861
We absolutely 100% can.

>>3247661
“GRRRRROOOOAAAAAAAR!!” you bellow in challenge, taking two large stomping steps towards Tatsu and Tomi. They seem intimidated, but after a moment find their resolve and attack. They clumsily charge at you, Tomi leaping high into the air as Tatsu charges directly at you. You brace yourself, catching your son’s clumsy charge and tossing him to the side. Tomi roars as she stomps down at you, you catching her feet and slinging her into her brother. Both go down in a pile, the two starting to attack each other as they try and regain their feet.
“Not very focused, are they?” Meloka asks, your chuckle a deep, booming rumble.
“No, but they’re still too young.” you reply, taking your stomping steps towards them. They quit slugging each other as you get close, growling defiantly. You drop into your stance, gesturing for them to come.

Tatsu and Tomi both look to you confused, not understanding your intent a moment before roaring, charging. Both run headlong towards you, slamming right into you. You catch their combined charge, planning to stop them right in their tracks. However, that’s not what happens. With your far larger body, you’d overextended yourself, your center of balance up in your chest instead of down in your knees. Your children roar, actually lifting you up off your feet and charging

“Woah!” Meloka says from your shoulder, you feeling just as surprised as she sounds. With a triumphant roar they jump, trying to slam you into the ground. You’re ready, however, landing on your feet and tossing your twins over your shoulders. They shout in surprise, crashing to the ground in a heap. You turn, facing your twins as they push themselves back up, roaring defiantly.
“C’mon.” you growl out, again taking your stance. Tatsu and Tomi growl back, light glowing from within their mouths. Oh damn, they can do that? You need a plan, quick! They can’t hurt you, but wildly firing those beams could cause some real damage. Focusing, you roar out, creating an Oozaru-sized Barrier around yourself, your twins roaring as they fire massive waves of ki from their mouths. Your shield tanks the blasts without issue, and after several moments you feel their ki starting to drop. However you feel your own ki dropping as well, looking up you see the Power Ball has vanished. You revert back to your base form, your twins doing so as well. You sigh out as you return to normal, seeing little Tatsu and Tomi have fallen asleep. With a chuckle you walk over, you carrying Tatsu and Meloka carrying Tomi as you both fly back to your father.

“One of their shots went wide, and smashed the ball.” he says with a sigh, sitting down. “So they all turned back, and fell right asleep. Well, it looks like their training’s over for today. How’d they do?”
“They did well.” you say, looking down at your youngest sleeping son. “Actually picked me up off the ground too.”
“Hmph. That’s because you’re out of practice, boy.” Tatsu says jokingly. “You’re off being the Legendary Super Saiyan, not becoming an Oozaru like most of the rest of us.”
“You’re not wrong there.” you say, remembering the last time you’d actually combined them. It gave you an insanely high power boost, but it only lasted for a few seconds, leaving you drained. “But I know something else about that form, too. It can actually be combined with the power of a Super Saiyan, for an insane boost in power.”

“Wh-What?!” Tatsu says, startled. “That, that’s actually possible?”
“Yeah.” you say, a vision of your alternate future daughter in her Primal Saiyan form flashing through her mind. “But it’s only a go-between. Mastering that power will give any Saiyan who can do it an unbelievable power boost, and unleashing an insanely powerful form far stronger than any normal Super Saiyan.”
“Like your green form?” Tatsu asks curiously, you shaking your head.
“No, they’re two different powers.” you say, an idea flashing into your head. But you dismiss it just as quickly, because a giant green Oozaru going out of control would kill absolutely everyone. “As for which is stronger, I honestly don’t know.”

“Well, I’m sure you’ll figure it out eventually.” Tatsu says, rising up to his feet and stretching. “After all, my son, you’re the Legendary Super Saiyan. You killed a demon lord who marched out of hell to kill us all, you’ll figure this out too.”
“Thanks old man.” you say, giving Tatsu a salute. He returns the gesture with his one arm, you and Meloka preparing to go.
“If you’ve got something else to do, you can leabe them here with me.” Tatsu says, you pondering it a moment.

“Sure, I know they’ve got a soft spot for their ol’ grandpa.” you say, Tatsu raising an eyebrow at you but not rising to the taunt. You and Meloka hand your youngest two to him, your father holding them both with one arm. “Thanks.”
“No problem.” he says, nodding as you and Meloka lift into the air. You take off, quickly flying away from the main continent and out over the sea. After a few moments, Meloka finally speaks up.
“Where are we going?” she finally asks, you stopping and turning to her, Meloka looking curiously at you. “Karn?”
“Meloka, you’ve been quiet today.” you say. “You’ve been really quiet for the past couple of days, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong.” she says immediately, you raising your right eyebrow. She doesn’t say anything else, you sighing and floating to Meloka, wrapping your wife in your arms.
“C’mon Meloka, you can tell me anything.” you tell her, releasing her from your hug after a few moments. “I’m here for you, if something’s wrong I’ll do everything I can to help you, you know that, right?”

“I, I know that, it’s just...” she says, then after a moment she sighs out defeated, holding her arms close to herself. “I lost it.”
“Huh?” you ask, confused. “Lost what?”
“You didn’t know, because it wasn’t strong enough for you to sense.” she says, hands going to her lower stomach. “But I did. And three days ago, it died.”
“It?” you ask, looking at her hands before suddenly getting it. Oh. OH.
“I don’t know what I did wrong.” Meloka says, eyes tearing up. “But it died. Our kid died because I wasn’t a good enough mother! That witch Towa can have your child, but I can’t anymore?! Why? What have I done to deserve this?”

You say nothing, drifting over to your wife and holding her in your arms. After a few moments she breaks down in tears, sobbing into your chest.

Well, what do you say?
>Say nothing, just let her cry it all out
>It’s okay Meloka, whatever happened wasn’t your fault

You can't apply rationality to this GD. Super Saiyan 3 is the worst transformation, so bad infact that it literally murdered our unborn child. You feeble attempts to shield this misbegotten transformation with logic will not save it from being thrown back into the primordial hellfire from which it was formed. Let this be a lesson my fellow anons, SS3 is the worst transformation and it killed our child. Do not allow the menace of SS3 to take another innocent life.

“It’s okay Meloka, whatever happened wasn’t your fault.” you tell your wife, her sobs wracking her body as if she’s spasming. “I don't know what happened, we can have the doctor give you an examination. And if they find nothing, we can have Raven and the Guardian look you over to see if anything magical is at fault. But...”
“But?” she asks with a sniff, looking up to you concerned.
“I know you don’t want to hear this, but it could just be natural.” you say. “It happened a few times to different women back in the village, back before we joined the PTO. I promise you though, I'll always be right here by your side.”
“So. So it’s *sniff* not something wrong with me?” she asks you, looking at you teary-eyed. “I’m okay?”
“Oh no, there’s no way you’re okay.” you say with a chuckle, Meloka looking suddenly concerned at you. “You married me, you’re clearly not okay. But this happening isn’t a problem with you, and you didn’t do anything wrong hun.”
“...Asshole.” she says after a moment, giving you a light jab in the ribs. You see she’s smiling despite herself, the lighthearted joke helping turn her mood for the better. You both share an intimate kiss, it starting to heat up just as your scouter suddenky goes off.

“Karn, are you there?” Beetz asks, ruining the moment. You and Meloka both sigh out in frustration, you answering your scouter.
“Go for Karn.” you say.
“King Vegeta has finished negotiations with the Jiralhanae, and he’s now ready to face you.” she says.
“Sorry, but I’m-“ you start to say, Meloka tuning her scouter in and interrupting.
“We’ll be right over.” she says. “The arena, right?”
“Correct.” she says. “I’ll let him know you both are on your way.”
“Meloka?” you ask, turning off your scouter’s comms.
“C’mon hun, just go take care of this guy already.” she says. “You can take care of me afterward, okay?”
“You sure?” you ask, Meloka nodding.
“They won’t leave you alone until you take care of this, so let’s just get it over with.” she says tiredly. You pull her back in for another kiss then take off, you and Meloka flying to the arena. There’s a surprisingly large crowd, the stands filled with both Jiralhanae and Saiyans. Tiveus and King Vegeta stand in the middle of the ring, you dropping from the sky down beside them.

“Alright, you wanted me, so here I am.” you say, popping your knuckles. “But I’m busy today, so let’s make this quick.”

“Alright, the rules are simple.” King Vegeta says, rising up into the air. “First to surrender, tossed out of the ring, down for a ten-count, or killed loses. Ready?”

“Aaaaaand BEGIN!” King Vegeta shouts, dropping his arm and leaping into the air.
“I will avenge my father!” Tiveus shouts, rushing headlong at you, hammer hefted.

You shut your eyes as he charges, you focusing on pulling power beyond yourself. Your Champion form is unique in that it isn’t your own power, but the planet’s power channeled through you. You focus on New Salda, after a moment you feel it’s power rushing into you. The world’s mighty ki surges through you, you roaring wildly as the power explodes out of you, knocking Tiveus back.

“Wh-What?” he asks, you sighing out and opening your eyes. You see the dark green aura surrounding you, the planet’s power pulsing through your veins. But this mighty power comes with something else as well: rage. The planet recognizes his kind, as one of the ones who caused it all this pain. Your world HATES this invader and it’s kind, and it will use you as it’s instrument to destroy them. You unsling your own hammer as Tiveus rises back to his feet, the chieftan holding his hammer high. “Nrgg, I will not lose! And I will not surrender!”

He roars and charges, his monstrous feet crashing into the floor as he charges headlong at you. However, you don’t wait for him, instead rushing and meeting his charge head-on.

“GRRRROOOAAAAAH!” he roars, swinging down at you with a powerful overhead swing.
“HYAAAAAAAA!!” you shout, swinging your hammer at his. But instead of smashing them head-to-head, you swing and smash the hafts together. Instead of the hammer heads exploding and sending the both of you flying, the haft connect. Caught off-guard by your attack, you gaining a few instants to act. Sliding the haft of your hammer up, you catch it on the underside of his hammer’s head. Twisting and dropping to a knee, you toss him up and over your back, sending the Brute flying. He’s not done yet, however, twisting around in midair and reorienting himself. You didn’t think he could fly, that makes this a little more interesting.

“I won’t go down that easy!” he roars, charging right back down at you.

Daily reminder that not only is new salda haunted, it's probably the most haunted planet in the entire goddamn universe.
It is a planet teeming with life, yet so steeped in death that the border between this world and the next has become thin.
New salda has drunk the blood of mortals, gods and demons, and she liked it

Hey, you think we could have the population go around and fire energy blasts into the glass fields to break up the surface and expose the rock and dirt underneath?
Then the PTO workers could move some soil into all the little craters and plant some trees and shit.

It wouldn't fix it, but it'd be a hell of a jumpstart.

“You won’t beat me!” he roars, swinging down at you. You block his hammer with yours, it striking the haft between your hands. The shockwave blasting out. You feel the shock traveling up the weapon and into in your hands, the concussive blast sending him tumbling away from you, landing in a roll on the arena floor.
“Is that all you’ve got?” you ask, stepping up and out of the two mini-craters your feet made when he hit you, dropping into your sword stance. “C’mon, I was expecting more.”

“That’s not the way to wield a weapon reliant on strength.” Darth Bane’s voice says, his spectral form appearing beside you. “That low stance, and all the weight down near the ground, it’s not right at all.
“The hell are you talking about?” you reply telepathically to the ancient Sith, bracing yourself as Tiveus charges again.
“Hold the weapon parallel to your body, elbows and knees bent.” he says with the authority of an experienced taskmaster. You follow without questioning, having plenty of time to react before the Jiralhanae chieftan.
“Good. Now pull your right foot another five centimeters back. When he closes in lift the weapon above your head, step through and swing down. Crush him!”

“HAAAAAAA!!” you shout, stepping into Tiveus’ attack. Again the hafts of your hammers connect, but this time it has a wildly different result. First, the strength of your attack tears the chieftan’s weapon from his hands, sending it flying from the arena. And secondly, you swung with such power you couldn’t stop it, hammerhead smashing into the ground and kicking up it’s powerful shockwave. You manage to keep your footing, the step-through allowing you to plant yourself just before it went off.

“That’s the way.” the old Sith says, a small hint of pride in his voice. “Yes, the Su Ma style isn’t quite suited for you. It is the style of the small and weak, whereas you are neither of those things. My style of Djem So is far more suited to your power, Karn.”
“Dammit!” the Chieftan roars as he crashes to the arena, drawing a pair of short-bladed weapons from his hips. “This isn’t over yet!”

“This feels right.” you say, dropping back into the stance he’d instructed you in, weapon held parallel to your body. “Show me more of this ‘Djem So’ style.”
“Of course.” Darth Bane replies. “But first, you should take care of that.”
“Huh?” you say, just as the chieftan unleashes a barrage of shots from his weapons. You have no time to activate your Barrier, shielding your face with your right arm as dozens of shots hit your body in a matter of seconds. “Grrr, dammit.”

Once both of his weapons click empty he tosses them at you, you easily dodging the bladed pistols as he draws another, larger weapon from his back.

“Take this!” he shouts, firing six projectiles in rapid succession. You leap aside, dodging the shots as they strike the arena floor and explode.
“That is the form’s one weakness.” Bane comments from your side as you land, Tiveus quickly reloading his weapon. “It isn’t suited to facing ranged opponents. To utilize Djem So most efficiency, you have to close the gap.”
“Right.” you say, wasting no time and going on the attack. He fires another quick barrage of six shots, you easily dodging between them and closing the distance.
“Now, use the momentum of your charge.” Bane says. “Step through, swing it in a clockwise circle, bringing your full force to bear.
“HAAAA!” you shout, following the Sith’s instructions and swinging the hammer with the full force of your charge rising up into his guard. He tries to block with his weapon but it’s no use, your attack plus the hammer’s shockwave send him flying. He tumbles uncontrollably through the air, crashing to the ground and rolling to a stop right at the edge.

“Good, very good.” Bane says, as Tiveus rises unsteadily to his feet. “Now, finish this. Crush him.”
“Haaaaa!” you shout, blitzing towards the weaponless-Jiralhanae. He raises his fists, still determined to fight, but you’re ending this now. Charging right towards him you waste no time, holding the weapon perpendicular to you and slamming it into his crossed arms. The shockwave lifts him from his feet, sending the chieftan crashing into the arena wall, out of bounds.

“Tiveus is out, the winner is Karn!” King Vegeta shouts to cheers from the Saiyans and many of the Jiralhanae too. You sigh out, releasing your Champion form and slinging your hammer across your back. You won.

But now what?

Yeah, but they haven't been for a decade, and while Doctor White knows more medical knowledge, he hasn't worked on Saiyans nearly as much as our racial doctors have.

At this point, I'd rather go to our racial doctors, and if they can't find anything, THEN we can go to Doctor White.

I stand by what I said. Doctor White has been working in Karn and Meloka for years yes, and he has been checking over Meloka for years when she was pregnant yes, but that kind of medical experience is nothing compared to the local saiyan doctors.

They have treated anywhere from millions of Saiyans pre all the invasions, to however many Saiyans there is now, in everything from basic sicknesses, to battlefield injury, to yes pregnancy problems.

Doctor White is good but he has NOTHING on the sheer medical experience that local saiyan doctors, have on saiyans bodies, and potential saiyan pregnancy problems.

The Saiyan solution to being pregnant is literally "Can it be taken out of the womb without dying yet? Good put it in an artificial womb.". Forgive me if I'm not too keen on considering them the foremost on child healthcare.

Not that I think Dr. White would be any better. He strikes me as a surgeon most experienced with grievous injury and combat wounds.

“This Djem So is definitely my kinda style.” you telepathically tell the Sith spectre, turning from your defeated foe and walking off the arena, grabbing his hammer you’d sent flying away. “You’ll teach me the rest, right?”
“Of course.” Bane replies, sounding smug and tapping his own head. “I’ll be right here.”

And with that he vanishes, and as you walk back to Tiveus a thought suddenly crosses your mind: the Sith Holocron is still on your ship several months away, somewhere between here and Raxus Prime. How did he appear all the way back here?

“Not bad.” you tell the Jiralhanae chieftan as he pulls himself free of the wall, you holding his hammer out to him. “You’re pretty tough.”
“And you are just as strong as the stories say.” Tiveus replies taking his weapon. “Thank you, for sheltering us.”
“Just keep your people in line, and we’ll do the same.” you reply. “Oh, but we might move your kind to a different world later. The planet still doesn’t like your kind.”
“Huh?” he asks, you lifting up into the air to Meloka. You then fly off with your wife, headed to the hospital in the Saiyan city. You both fly over the reconstructed city, it looking far more durable than it’s previous iterations. Each building’s walls are made of a reinforced metal, durable enough to withstand a direct blast from one of the Covenant warships. You find the old hospital tower has been replaced by an entire complex, it looking more like a fortress than medical facility, only differentiated by the red cross on the sides. You both fly down to it, touching down by the main door and walking in.

“Afternoon. Training accident, sickness, or pregnancy?” a PTO receptionist asks, the small green alien tapping on a keyboard and not even looking up for the first several seconds as you walk in. “Wait, no way... You’re Meloka and Karn! Oh my gosh! I’m such a huge fan, I’ve watched all your workout videos, can I have your autograph?”
“Uhh, yeah, sure.” Meloka says, taking the pen from the soldier and signing the book he’s holding out, then clutching it to his chest when she’s done. “Can you help us?”
“Absolutely!” he says, standing up tall and saluting. “Whatever I can do to help, just say the word!”
“I think I need to see a pregnancy doctor.” Meloka says, sounding a little nervous. “I had a pregnancy, um, well, not make it.”
“I understand, follow me!” he says, leaving a ‘back in 5 minutes’ sign on the desk and flying down a hall. “Dr. Langal is the best doctor on-world! If there’s anything wrong, he can fix it!”

“...So that’s the issue then.” Dr. Langal says, Meloka having explained everything to him. He’d been with another patient when you all arrived, the doctor having chastised the receptionist before sending him back to his post. Thankfully the patient he was with was finishing up, the doctor then listening patiently as Meloka explained what happened. “Pregnancy is a delicate process, one the slightest imbalance could upset and kill both the child, and potentially the mother as well. First matters first, I’ll need you to strip down and lay on the table, we’ll need to examine you and see what condition you’re in.”

“Right.” Meloka says without hesitation, stripping and laying on the table. Once she’s in place the doctor maneuvers a large screen down from the ceiling, it mere inches from her.
“First, we’ll examine your reproductive system, and check for anomalies.” the doctor says, the screen slowly powering on. But instead of seeing Meloka through it, you see through Meloka. He fiddles with controls, you seeing only her skeleton, nervous system, muscles, organs, until he finally finds the one he wants. “Ah, there we go. Now, let’s see...”

For more than a minute he mumbles to himself, checking Meloka’s internals through his screen. After two minutes, he finally speaks up.

“The good news is, there is nothing physically wrong with you.” Dr. Langal says, Meloka sighing out in relief. “Not all children, no matter what whe do, will make it in this world. But, there is one more test I would like to do, before letting you up. Could you transform, gently?”
“You mean into a Super Saiyan?” Meloka asks, the doctor nodding.
“But gently, gently.” he says. “After all, this equipment is delicate.”
“Right.” Meloka says then sighs out, a gentle breeze flowing from her. After several seconds you feel her power climbing, hair changing as she transforms into a Super Saiyan. Yet despite not making a flashy show of it the tech is having a hard time, the screen glowing bright enough to blind. He adjusts the brightness down to nothing, flipping through several more screens.

“Ahh, I see.” he says, lifting the screen back up and out of the way. “I may have found your problem.”
“Wait, you don’t mean-?” you ask Dr. Langal, who nods to you.

“From what I can see, your entire body transforms when you become a Super Saiyan.” he says. “Now I can only hypothesize what happens to a child inside you, but I believe your transformations would change them as well.”
“So wouldn’t that just make the child stronger?” you ask, Dr. Langal shaking his head.
“As I’d thought, the Super Saiyan transformation puts a noticable strain on your body.” he says. “Which I’m sure you’ve both trained extensively to adapt to?”
“Of course.” Meloka says, then her eyes suddenly widen. “But-!”
“Exactly.” he says, then turns to you. “I recall a rumor, when you’d first unlocked this power it lasted almost a minute against Lord Freeza before you fell unconscious, is that correct?”
“Yeah.” you reply, thinking back. “When I’d first discovered it, i couldn’t hold onto that power for long before-Oh.”

“Yes.” he says solemnly. “The stress that that transformation places on your body would be several times worse for any potential child to come of you two. However... Karn, would you strip as well, and switch places with Meloka?”
“Yeah, sure?” you reply, unsure why he wants you on the table but complying regardless. You strip quickly and lay down where Meloka was, the doctor again pulling the screen back into place. It only takes a few seconds, the machine left to the filter he wanted before speaking up again.

“Now, if you would.” he asks. “Transform as well.”

“Alright.” you say, clenching your fists. You focus on touching that Super Saiyan power within you, slowly transforming your body into a Super Saiyan. Your body begins to change, your golden glow radiating out from your body. Your energy begins pouring out, you hearing a crack from above you.
“Gently, gently!” the doctor says, you more tightly reigning in your power. You keep your power more under control, the doctor “hrmm”ing for a few moments. “I see. Very well, that’s enough.”
“Alright.” you say, sighing out and returning to your base form. “So, what’s the verdict?”

“Hrmmm.” he says, hand to his chin. “It seems like your entire body changes when you transform as well, including your reproductive organs. I’m not an expert on your Super Saiyan powers, but I believe you both should be transformed when making your next child for the best chance of it surviving, Meloka.”
“Really?” she asks, Dr. Langal nodding.
“Both of your reproductive organs being transformed before making a child would have the best chance for the developing infant to withstand the sudden surges of your power whenever you have to transform.” he tells you both as you start getting dressed. “However, I would ask that you come back to me once you’ve gotten pregnant again, as I would like to moniter this child’s status as it develops.”
“Sure.” Meloka says, seemingly in a far better mood. Finding out it wasn’t a problem with herself has elevated her spirits, you both thanking the doctor and exiting the building, waving to the still-excited secretary on your way out. “So, what do you wanna do now?”

Unless we’re a quick shot, I don’t think Meloka’d be able to keep SSJ3 up for long enough. Also,

If the growth is AT ALL equivalent, then I don’t think she’d survive unless she went, like, Ultra Saiyan.

“It seems that Chaya’s gone back to normal, her battle must be over.” you say, lifting up into the air. “Let’s go see how it went.”
“Sure.” Meloka says, you both flying towards the powerlevels of your oldest children. The flight is short, the fight having happened just outside the city. As you fly to it, you see several still-smoking craters, you and Meloka flying down to it. As you drop through the air you see Broly, Chilli, Megumin, Kakarot, and two other Saiyan youths you don’t recognize all looking down into the largest crater, you seeing your daughter and Raditz both laying there unconscious. Both of their armor is in tatters, their bodies bruised and battered. You and Meloka both transform, dropping down into the crater and sending some of your energy into the battered kids. After a few moments they both struggle back to consciousness, Chaya looking around confused.

“Da-Daddy?” she asks, blinking a few times before her eyes open wide. “Raditz! Where-?”
“What?” he asks grumpily, you and Chaya looking over to seeing his strength being restored as well by your wife.
“Who won?” your daughter asks him confused, Raditz not knowing. They both look up to the other kids, who’ve now all begun descending into the crater.
“You knocked each other out.” Megumin says uncertainly. “So, it’s a draw?”
“Awwww, but I wanted to win!” Chaya pouts, crossing her arms and huffing. “Rematch! Right no-ow!”

“Not today kiddo.” you say, poking one of her bruises on her ribs and causing her to yelp. “It looks like you both fought well, and gave it your best. But that’s enough for today, you both need to go get some rest.”

Raditz mumbles a thank you to Meloka, him, his brother and the other two take off, you watching them go.

“Oh, why not?” Chaya asks you. “I can still go!”
“Not like that kiddo.” you say, poking another bruise on her other side and causing her to yelp again. “You need to get some rest.”
“Awwwww, okaaaaay.” Chaya says with a sigh, you chuckling and lifting your daughter up in your arms. You fly up and out of the crater, Meloka holding Megumin on her back as Broly and Chilli fly up as well, looking over to seeing the sun set over the sea. You take a deep breath, sighing out in contentment. You don’t know what the future holds in store for you or for your family, but you know you all will be ready to face tomorrow head-on.

QM QUESTION

So now that we’re two threads in, how’s everyone liking this arc so far? Ready for the big debate(Primal vs Berserk), as well as some of the other upcoming choices? And who among the cast are you looking forward to seeing grow up the most?
>>
>>3254034
>So now that we’re two threads in, how’s everyone liking this arc so far?
I feel like it's been a long time coming with a lot of the stuff we're getting hit with. I'm relieved we finally have a chance to get our shit in order without the constant looming threat of death.
>Ready for the big debate(Primal vs Berserk)
I've already made my decision on that.
>as well as some of the other upcoming choices?
Rule of cool will always apply.

Chaya, Chilli, and Vegeta. We know pretty much next to nothing about teenage Vegeta so I'm interested in how you're gonna write him.

I hope we can get some more training on things like our Stand, telekinesis, training with our camel. Maybe even coming up with a new physical attack/technique.

It's good. Nice not to have to constantly run around, quelling threats and new issues.

>Ready for the big debate(Primal vs Berserk)

Kinda feel like Berserk's already killing it in that regard.

>As well as some of the other upcoming choices?

I'm ready to finally learn some motherfucking Hamon, we've been sitting on it for way too long.

>And who among the cast are you looking forward to seeing grow up the most?

I still want to go on that training trip with Vegeta for a while, just the two of us, impart what wisdom we can to him and offer advice with whatever problems he's facing. We've kept our distant and let him grow into the person he wants to be, and avoided usurping his authority, now's the time when we can approach him and help him without fear of stunting his emotional growth or undermining his authority. Want to see what Raven finally does as well, now that she doesn't need to worry about the perpetually looming shadow of her demon dad. We should probably talk official adoption or something, now that we've orphaned her.
>>
>>3254085

Glad to see everyone’s enjoying the peacetime. As for trainings, it won’t all be in one block. Trainings will be split up into blocks according to events, and will have the options to train several different things. That said, some options are time-sensitive, whereas others will greater benefits/easier rolls from waiting a bit before taking them.
>>3254115
Good question. Strength of Will has increased noticably, but perhaps not as much as you’d think. As for mental defenses, the gain is negligible. After all, you still have Towa’s mental aegis shielding your mind.

I'm not surprised. It makes more sense for her to be the Guardian then Ubo. I believe GD once said that blackfire is still acting flirty at karn due to how the fight between her and meloka went when karn walked away and let them fight it out themselves the first time.

My running theory for if im right is that someone in this timeline's future paid him to do it in order to secure a stable loop originating from an untraceable source, so that the SKOT wouldn't be able to deal with it easily. Unfortunately the demon realm and the afterlife are two different realms. And Dabura holds little sway over King Yemma.
>>3259244
Something shows up looking like your sibling, claiming to be a time traveler which you know is impossible, having met the Supreme Kai of Time once. Add into it how(generally) untrustworthy demons are, and there ya go
>>
>>3259573
>met the supreme kai of time
>who exists solely to make sure time isn't getting fucked with

That's like saying the police exist so crime is impossible. Dabura stop being obtuse. Shittiest brother. Well, maybe Cooler is worse as a sibling.
>>
>>3259573
GD, question for you my man. Can the Guardian take us to King Yemma? Or was that more of just a Kami thing because Earth is SPECIAL? If all Guardians of planets can do it, we could at least plead our case.. Then compliment his desk to get on his good side!
>>
>>3259641
The police who can teleport in and appear as the crime is about to be committed, stopping it.
>Shittiest brother. Well, maybe Cooler is worse as a sibling
Cooler confirmed worst sibling.
>>3259711
>Can the Guardian take us to King Yemma?
Yes. However, what you’re aiming for is sadly impossible. Even IF you found the correct soul out of the uncountable unborn, and even IF for some reason King Yemma broke all the rules he’d not broken in uncounted years and let you take that soul back with you, Meloka’s body purged the dead cells from her body before it could begin harming her.
>>
>>3259753
But the fact she is necessary means it isn't impossible. It just means she stops it. If it wasn't possible she wouldn't have a job. Cause and effect my man. Dabura is just an asshole.

I wonder what Cooler will do with himself now that he has been broken. Maybe he should get a wife and go home and be a family man?

If someone shows up claiming to be your sister from the future, and the time cops never appear, would make you doubt their sincerity. They have all the time in the world to stop it.

QM UPDATE

Still working on the epilogue, yet this one won’t be as lengthy as some others. However, it’ll have a good bit of information and maybe a surprise or two.
>>
>>3259810
>If someone shows up claiming to be your sister from the future, and the time cops never appear, would make you doubt their sincerity. They have all the time in the world to stop it.

Well then he has a fifty fifty shot of them telling the truth. The only options are "They aren't" or "They outsmarted the polees". Having time doesn't matter if you don't know where they are in the first place. Also literally time and space magic. I don't know how it works, Dabura doesn't know how it works, I'm pretty sure Towa and Chronoa don't even know how it works, it just works. So Dabura is making TONS of assumptions based on an incredibly limited knowledge.
>>
>>3260085
GD, let me save you some time, and suggest you stop arguing with the dabura anon. Your not going to be able to change their mind so it's not worth the effort.
>>
>>3260097
The way GD said it implied that chronoa lied to him, telling him time travel was impossible.
She probably did this for pretty much every version of dabura/towa possible, to prevent as many towas as possible from becoming timebreakers.
>>
>>3260107
But that would beg the question "Why is she needed?". Dabura is a demon, demons are backstabbing self-serving jerks. He would have to think about attacks from odd-angles on the reg. If he didn't even entertain the thought that she's being untruthful then he is the most naive demon king ever. Dabura isn't stupid. I hope.
>>
>>3260097
>So Dabura is making TONS of assumptions based on an incredibly limited knowledge.
You mean like you are now?
>>3260106
Fair point.
>>3260107
The way I’d said it was he wouldn’t believe a time traveler, specifically because there’s a kai dedicated solely to a) preventing and b)fixing time errors. He doesn’t know the level of competence this kai has, only that to his knowledge he’s never met a time traveler besides the Time Kai, whose strength was beyond his own.
>>3260155
>Dabura is a demon, demons are backstabbing self-serving jerks
True. But perhaps, after observing Karn for awhile, he may need a favor...
>>
>>3260233
>You mean like you are now?

Pls. All of my conclusions are speculative, I'm not claiming any of them to be correct. Unlike a certain pointy-eared, red-skinned, absurdly-strong-jawed, untrusting, stone-spitting, monarch of a very hot place. It isn't my fault Dabura has no imagination and doesn't even consider alternatives.

Kings who don't think don't last very long. And if it weren't for Karn he'd be roughly-used and then dead meat. So clearly he needs to start considering that things are not always as they seem.

He gets bullied by a yellow midget with more wrinkles than a bundled up tarp. What a joke. All he had to do was hock a loogie at the little bastard and he would have survived. But now I don't know what I'm getting at any more.

>after observing Karn for awhile, he may need a favor...

So I just found something interesting guys.

According to the Transformation Pastebin, our Maximum PL when using Berserk 1 should be 910,750,000, yet our Unleashed Berserk power is 1 Billion+.

So, this points to us being able to tap into higher level transformations, at the exchange of most of our sanity.

This is correct. However, the “regular” Berserk form you have access to has little-to-no chance of negatively affecting your psyche long-term, unlike Unleashing it’s full power.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 76 Epilogue-

AGE 743, NEW SALDA

“You wanted to see me?” you ask the small yet powerful wizard, the Guardian of New Salda. You are Raven, last of the Azarians, daughter of the late demon Trigon, and wielder of powerful magics. It’s been around two weeks since Karn slayed your demonic father, completely destroying the ancieng fiend with his powerful psychic entity he calls Dragon Force. You had spent the days in a daze, the apocalyptic future you’d always feared would come to pass happened, yet Karn stopped it. Not Freeza, not Meloka, not even the unimaginably powerful King Cold could stop his terror, yet Karn did.
“Your company, I wish for.” the ancient creature says, sitting on his rock in the early morning sun. “Much to discuss with you, I have.”
“Uhhh, okay?” you ask, the old creature taking a deep breath. He then sighs out, you already sensing his pain. Whatever he’s about to tell you, you know isn’t plesant.
“When you arrived, judged you, I did.” he starts, you remembering his distrust easily. It felt just like being back home, after all. “The mark, upon you, I could see.”

At this he pulls open his robes slightly then reaches out and taps your forehead, you feeling the mark burn with hellfire for an instant. But when he does you can’t help but gasp with surprise: he has the mark too! Right on his chest above his heart you see it glow crimson, just for a moment, before the lighy dims and fades completely. You’d had no idea he was-

“Of demon’s blood, I am not.” he says, derailing your train of thought as he pulls his robes back into place. “But a fool, I was. Power, I saught, and mindful of the consequences, I was not. For my foolishness, extinct, my race became.”

Visions flash through your mind, your empath powers remembering the pain of your entirepeople dying. And he’d done that himself? You can’t imagine what that must’ve felt like.

“Yet different, you are.” he says, continuing. “Of demon’s blood, you are. Yet against your father, you stood. A crippling blow, you dealt him.”
“I didn’t do that much.” you say, holding your arm a little embarrassed.
“Yet the balance, you still tipped.” he says, rapping his staff on his stone for emphasis. “Weakened him enough, your attack did, to allow his death.”

“Uhh, thank you?” you say a little confused. If he just wanted to compliment you he could do that telepathically, so why did he want you to meet him here?
cont
>>
>>3262933
“Very old, I am child.” he says, and for just a moment his mental shields falter, your empath senses swept away by his sadness and tiredness. He sees your face and quickly rebuilds his mental barriers, yet the shock isn’t nearly as quick to wear off. Hoping to either change the discussion or keep you from thinking on it any more one, he keeps talking. “An unnaturally long life, I have lived. But weaker by the day, I’m becoming. Coming to an end, my time is. This mantle, pass along one day soon, I must.”
“Mantle?” What mantle? Wait, you couldn’t mean-” you ask, the Guardian nodding solemnly as you suddenly understand. “No way, I’m not ready for this, you can’t go yet, I can’t-“

As you start sputtering he holds a hand up, you quieting down and letting him finish.

“Dead yet, I am not.” he says with a chuckle, you laughing along until his turns into a ratting cough. You’re instantly concerned for him again, the ancient alien waving your concern off. “Some time yet, I still have. With me, will you come?”
“Uhh, yeah, sure?” you say, the Guardian rising unsteadily to his feet. Hobbling on his cane he walks into the tower of his ship-island, you following behind him. As the door slides shut behind you, you both are engulfed in darkness. You raise a hand to create light, but the Guardian, however, beats you to it. His breathing shifts, and he suddenly begins glowing. The energy you feel coming off of him is like, no, it is: sunlight!

“H-How?” you ask surprised, the Guardian turning to you.
“Much to learn, you still have.” he says with a small chuckle, hobbling further along inside the ship. You follow him in, the Guardian leading you deeper and deeper inside the massive ship until he leads you to a massive, heavily-reinforced wall. He reaches out with his power and slowly pulls it open, it grinding with an awful screech of metal-on-metal. He opens the door just wide enough, you following him inside.

“Woah...” you say, jaw dropping as you take in the room. It’s not a large room, perhaps 30ft square and only 12ft high. But it’s the contents that catch your eye. The room is filled with eight short pedestals, a different object resting on each. On one an ancient leatherbound book, on another a pair of curved metal handles similar yet larger than the Guardian’s energy blade weapon. You see what seems to be some sort of stone dagger on another, and a metallic shield on the largest, and yet he ignores them all and walks towards a small pillar at the back. Resting on it is a small, simple cube, seemingly made of glass and gold. He reaches out and grabs it, the relic glowing blue upon his touch. He then turns, holding it out towards you.
cont
>>
>>3262936
“A holocron, this is.” the Guardian says, holding the cube and looking down at it with a small, wistful smile. “All the knowledge and memories I possess, within this relic are contained.”
“I do- I don’t know what to say.” you mutter, gazing at that small cube. All of his knowledge and memories? His lifetimes’ worth of arcane knowledge is a gift more precious than anything material, his entire life’s work contained within that relic. You don’t know what to say, other than one pressing question. “But... Why me? Why not Karn, he’s more fit than I am to protect his world. Or King Vegeta, or Ubo, or any of the others? They’re stronger and more suited to guarding this planet than I am, why entrust this to me?”

“Stronger than you, they may be.” he says, setting the relic back down then offering his hans. “But more than strength, a Guardian needs. Show you, I will.”

You hesitate for a moment, mind full of uncertainty and doubt. But then you remember standing up to Trigon, facing the monstrosity that spawned you, and you lose all fear. You faced him head-on, you can face whatever the Guardian shows you! Reaching out you take the wizened creature’s hand, thinking you were ready for whatever he could possibly show you. And how wrong you were. As your hands touch your mind is suddenly filled with sights, emotions, and sensations that aren’t your own. You feel everything. Every Saiyan, PTO worker, the Jiralhanae on the Glass Plain, the birds and fish and other little creatures, even the insects, grass, and trees: you feel them all. This is far above your empath abilities, your soul is suddenly connected to every single lifeform on New Salda! You see, hear, feel, even smell and taste everything happening all at once, losing yourself as your mind is swept away by the overwhelming tide of sensations.

“Gyaah!” you gasp in surprise as the Guardian releases your hand, your mind suddenly snapping back to your own body. The experience leaves you gasping for air, the sudden shift back to a single perspective nearly as disorienting. “Wh-What was that?”
“The sight, from my eyes that was.” he says, your mind overwhelmed with the implications. Your own empath abilities completely shut down during the Siege of New Salda, and you couldn’t feel even a thousandth of what you’d just felt from him. You can barely fathom just how much more of that terrible battle he experienced than you, much less endured. What all has he seen in his time, to make suffering of that magnitude not even phase him?

“Of all living things under your watch, be considerate, a Guardian must be.” he says. “The Saiyans, strong they are. But their lust for battle, to this blinds them. Stronger foes, those like Karn seek. Their own strength, they cultivate; their limits, never satisfied with. A true warrior race, awakened to being, the Saiyans have.”
“You’re not wrong there.” you say with a small chuckle, knowing that Karn will never stop getting stronger. “If he’s not training, that means something’s gone wrong.”
“Hmmm, indeed.” the Guardian says, cracking a small smile. “Of New Salda, the physical safety, I do not doubt. Powerful fighters, the Saiyans jhave become. Yet by strength alone, not all problems, solved can be. Know this already, you do. But a choice to make, you have.”

“Right.” you say, sitting cross-legged on the ground. You close your eyes, focusing your attention inward. When your eyes open again, you’re sitting in the center of a circle of yourselves. You see your face reflected back at you eight times, each different “you” wearing a different colored cloak. “So, what do we think?”
“Go for it!” your pink-cloaked emoticlone shouts, pumping a fist. “What are you waiting for? Do it!”
“I’m sorry for her outburst.” your grey-cloaked clone says apologetically.
“Stop fucking apologizing for everything, dammit!” the demon-eyed, red-robed clone shouts, snapping at her. “Grow a damn backbone already!”
“Sorry.” she says, her apology drowned out.
“Don’t you yell at her!” the green-wearing Raven says, rising up and gathering your magical power in her hands. “I’ll kick your ass if you keep it up!”
“Let’s all settle down and do this logically,” your yellow-wearing counterpart says, adjusting her glasses. “And examine the pros and cons of-“
“Forget this, it seems like too much work.” the orange-robed Raven says with a yawn. “I’m against it.”
“Awww c’mon, don’t be like that.” the purple-clad you says. “This could be our calling in life, now that Trigon’s been destroyed.”

“Alright everyone, quiet down!” you say, silencing your personalities. “Yellow?”
“Of course.” she says, using your magical power to begin drawing out the pros and cons of becoming the new Guardian. You’d have access to all his knowledge, but be unable to leave the planet anymore. You wouldn’t be able to go traveling with Karn and his family anymore, but do you really want to? You’re not the adventuring or conquering type, but you enjoy being part of his family regardless. Your many selves debate for several hours, finally coming to a unanimous decision. You open your eyes, only a few seconds having passed while in your own head.

“A decision, you have made.” the Guardian says as you rise back to your feet.
“Yes I have.” you say, nodding. “Teach me everything.”

Aww sheeit, best girl at it again
>>
>>3262939
Not like she has to go anywhere. She can just open a portal where Karn and Co. go to talk to them and see what they see. She can actually experience everything except the physical trip of traveling.
>>
>>3262957
Kek.
>>3262961
True. And she doesn’t need a portal, as she has telepathy. That said, the two of them will now be rather busy, the Guardian working to impart as much of his knowledge and the responsibilities of his post to his apprentice.

>Raven, as daughter of Trigon, has demonic ki
>Raven, as new Guardian of New Salad, will have divine ki
How the fuck will that work?
>>
>>3263011
Eh, probably just Divine Demonic Ki, like what the Supreme Kai of the Demon Realm and Demon Goddess Towa has.

>>3263002
Definitely need to learn everything we can from him too before its too late. Man King Cold is gunna be torn up. First his son goes Full Dumbass and then his long lost teacher, who he was finally reconnecting with, dies of old age.
>>
>>3263011
>divine =/= holy

Funnily enough. Just like how demonic ki isn't inherently evil. Ki is just energy. The descriptors you get for it just specifies where it's coming from not its actual traits or characteristics. Which is why people with lots of divine ki can be fought and even beaten by people with an absurd amount of normal ki.

Think of it like mortal ki is coal, demonic ki is gasoline and divine ki is fucking nuclear. Cept it can all mix together.

I'm not good at analogies.
>>
>>3263011
>How the fuck will that work?
Now you’re cooking with propane. Did you not notice the mark the Guardian has? He knows full-well how it mixes
>>3263023
>Definitely need to learn everything we can from him too before its too late.
Fortunately for you his knowledge won’t die with him.
>Man King Cold is gunna be torn up
Yes.
>>3263064
>I'm not good at analogies.
Better one: Normal ki is like fire, wielded by mortals. Divine ki is like lightning, and from the heavens. And demonic is like nuclear, short-term power at a longer-term cost.
>>
>>3263116
Is it possible to copy holocrons? This way King Cold could have a Yoda duplicate of his own.
>>
>>3263130
fuck that, we have better options to explore
from the wiki;
>"If a Jedi holocron and a Sith holocron were opened together by a lightsider and a darksider, they would fuse and be able to answer any question the users desired."
>>
If he has the knowledge to create a holocron then this opens up new avenues to us. Whilst we could record peoples memories willy nilly, it should be reserved for the most important minds at the time. Namely Tatsu, King Vegeta, King Cold, and Karn to name a few.

Fuckin' hell, imagine in a distant future you grew up hearing legends of the man who kickstarted the rise to greatness for your race and then being only what amounts to a trip to the library away from meeting him.
>>
>>3263222
>IN THE FUTURE THAT IS KARN
>"WHO DARES DISTURB THE TOMB OF-oh hey kid. Are you one of my relatives?"
>"I-I-I think so. Are you...Karn?"
>"Yup! So...what's your name?"
>"Chilli XXIV sir!"
>"Yup. Definitely one of mine."
>"Wow. I didn't think all those stories were true but here you are!"
>"In the holographic flesh kid. Now why did you bust open my crypt? Invasion? Demons? Nefarious?"
>"Nope. Some purple haired kid started causing trouble on the planet, saying we don't "belong"."
>"Chilli, how the Hell am I supposed to help with this? I'm a hologram, remember?
>"But he seemed scared of your name when I said I was related to you. Do you know he is?"
>pic related
>"Is that a yes?"
>"Just tell him if he keeps breaking my shit I'm gonna give him another dozen holes to remember me by."
>>

>The BOI trying to erase the Saiyan Race and the timeline long after Karn has died.

The BOI was smart, outlasting us with time travel bullshit. But little did he know, by dying we became far more powerful than he could ever imagine!

Force Ghosts, are they even a thing in this setting since Jedi and Sith kinda exist? We could legit just show up as a ghost to spook Trunks any time we wanted.
>>
>>3263385
>"Boy."
>"?"
>"BOY."
>"OH GOD WHAT?!"
>"WHAT'RE YOU DOING ON MY PLANET BOY?!"
>"HOW ARE YOU STILL HERE? YOU SHOULD BE DEAD!"
>"AND YOU SHOULD BE A DAMN CORPSE BUT I GUESS DISAPPOINTMENT IS YOUR STRONG-SUIT!"
>>
>>3263385
considering holocron's are a thing i'd learn heavily towards yes, besides souls are actually a thing in normal DBverse and can chat with people and all kinds of shit provided the guys in the afterlife like you enough.

If your soul escaped the afterlife, it could potentially be, since you still wouldn’t have a physical body.

We must now take Yoda on the mother of all pub crawl's when Raven takes his place before he dies. OUR LITTLE GREEN MASTER WILL BE SEEN TURNING THIS REALM UP TO THE FUCKING HEAVENS BEFORE HE PASSES!

Should probably learn Hamon before he kicks the bucket though. I’m having trouble imagining how an intangible hologram would teach an ability based on breathing.

Ghost magic telepathy visions I'd guess.

>karn begins training in hamon
>this is the part where his gravity chamber is properly outfitted to create various atmospheric hazard
>extremely low pressure, up to a complete vacuum
>extremely high pressures, as much as the hull can handle
>extremely low temperatures, down to liquid helium levels
>extremely high temperatures, as much as the hull can handle
>gas mixing, allows chamber to be filled with more and more or less and less nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide
>fun for all the family: can pump in special aerosolized poisons (formulated to cause no long-lasting damage) at your preferred dosage
>special feature, GRAVITY MAELSTROM!: who wants boring old gravity in one direction? Now you too can experience the joys of thousands of times standard gravity twisting and rotating in every direction at once!

>Karn, that's a terrible idea. Hell, i don't even know if that last one is actually possible. Are you literally trying to die?
>Just put it on the goddamn ship, science-boy.
>I told you not to call me science-boy, karn. And there's no way in hell we can fit all that on your ship's gravity chamber. You're out of your mind.
>I didn't ask you if it's currently possible, bardock! You're the saiyan race's most brilliant scientist, figure it out!
>>
>>3264712
He is fucking lying, everything but that last one is but a simple installation of ventilation and piping, and all that needs is a good pressure tank in the broom closet! He's just being a lazy bastard and trying to get in the way of our gains at the same time.

For Hamon training, you’re gonna have to slow WAAAAAY down. Even simply doubling gravity will make using Hamon much harder.
>>
>>3265086
.....fuck you, we will do all of the hardcore training on top of training our insides by drinking battery acid. Biology can't stop us, that shit's for pussies that don't have tails.

>Ubo is a pussy

Now hol' up there partnerinodudeguy.

>>3265127
Raven is our daughter, therefore part of the tail master-race, whose husbando is Ubo, therefore he is exempt.
>>
>>3265086
Fair enough, we'll just sit in the middle with it turned off completely at first. maybe even just start in a cave or an open field or some shit if yoda says it'll help.
>>
>>3265120
It’s like you want to burn all your Zenkais in the timeskip.
>>3265172
It’ll be a slow process. And there will be many trainings to consider, weighing the pros and cons of each as time moves on.
>>
>>3265218
Stamina, Djem So, and Berserk seem like obvious choices. Don't forget a healthy dosage of training our kids personally.
>>
>>3265494
It won’t be a big block of choices, but rather “train this, that, or that” options.

You will have many different ways to further your training coming soon. Which transformation path you’ll travel, what fighting style you’ll focus on developing, what you’ll train the kids on, which specialties you’ll train, and how much time you spend with the friends/general population/celebrity spotlight are just a few of the choices you’ll need to make. But enjoy this peace time while it lasts, for when it ends, a new war may be brewing
>>
>>3265969
Hopefully this Hatchiyak won't have the same flaw as canon, because I can see Karn figuring that out pretty quick.
>>
>>3265974
He’ll be up to his ‘canon’ strength far sooner than canon, his hate far magnified. As for his weakness who knows?
