Twelve years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza’s army. Since that fateful day, the Saiyans have earned their title of warrior race as Freeza’s most powerful soldiers, leading the charge onto hundreds of worlds and destroying those who oppose Lord Freeza’s rule. As mighty conquerors crushing all resistance, the Saiyans have earned their reputation as Freeza’s most powerful subjects. The larger than life tales of the Saiyans, and especially the Super Saiyans, have spread to every corner of the universe. With the Covenant’s failed 30,000-warship siege of New Salda televised live across the civilized universe, as well as the more recent demon invasion transmitted out live, the Saiyans have earned their reputation as the strongest fighters in the universe.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 743. You the players control Karn, a Saiyan with a base powerlevel of 3,643,000, a general in Lord Freeza’s army, mate to Meloka, father of six, champion of New Salda, wielder of the Stand Dragon Force, and as “The Dragon of New Salda” you are the symbol of the PTO’s military might across the stars. But for now it seems like there is a peace settling, the likes of which the Saiyan race has never known. But how long will this hard-earned peace last?

Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The Guardian revealed to you that he’d chosen Raven as his successor, and after twice failing to learn the ancient art of Hamon from him, you’d met up with your kids and started teaching them how Tatsu’d taught you. After attacking them until they could no longer stand, you took them to go hunt their own breakfasts in the sea. Chilli then had a close run-in with a crablike creature, you and your kids enjoying the meal before Meloka and the twins joined you, everyone but you and Meloka getting some new armor. After that eventful trip you, Broly and Chilli visit with Vegeta while Meloka takes the twins, Megumin and Chaya to the Guardian. King Vegeta IV gives your boys some advice, and you do the same for him before you and Chilli visit with Nappa. As you caught up with him Tunnip arrived, boasting of her newfound control. But as we rejoin Karn, an old friend has just challenged you to throw down.

“Leyas, you finally did it!” you say, excited for your friend. “You’ve finally become a Super Saiyan!”
“Yeah.” he says, then dropping into his fighting stance. “Now it’s time to see what I can do!”
“Hold on just a second.” you say, nodding to Chilli. Your son wastes no time leaping off your shoulder and landing beside Tunnip and Nappa, your giant friend having just finished eating. With a belch he then looks up, just now noticing Leyas’s arrival.
“Well look at you!” Nappa says, walking up and slapping Leyas on the back. “You finally caught up! Hahaha, now we’re all Super Saiyans!”
“Yeah, and now to put this power to the test!” he shouts, his golden aura flaring as he powers up. “C’mon Karn!”

“Alright, let’s go!” you reply, flashing up to a normal Super Saiyan and dropping into your fighting stance. “Bring it!”
“RRRAAAAA!” he shouts, dashing at you without hesitation. He opens the fight as he always does, with a big right hand. You could easily dodge, but instead you meet his right fist with your own, getting a better gauge of his strength. As your fists connect they unleash a powerful shockwave, Nappa holding onto Chilli and shielding him from the worst of it. Leyas backflips away from you, landing a dozen or so feet away back into his stance.
“Gooo Daddy!” Chilli shouts excitedly, you smiling at your son’s encouragement.

What will you do?
>Rush and attack, test his defenses
>Defend, see what he’s got
>Evade, don’t let him hit you
>Keep your distance, pummel him with ki attacks
>Ki Blade and rush, see how well he can defend against that

“Hrrraaaaa!!” you shout, blasting off the ground and swinging at your friend. You could sit back and let him attack you to gauge his power, but where’s the fun in that? You have to hold your power back, being several times stronger than him, but you think you got a good gauge on his power from the earlier punch. But as you swing for his head, you realize you underestimated his strength. Leyas leans past your opening right punch, burying his right fist square into your gut. “Guh!”

“Got you!” he shouts triumphantly, following up with a hard left to your jaw that sends you flying. You tumble uncontrollably through the air until a massive impact to your back sends you crashing down to the ground hard enough to make a sizeable crater. You cough a bit on the dust as you roll over onto your back, just in time to see Leyas fast-approaching. With only a second to act you roll back onto your hands and push yourself up and away, just in time to dodge another powerful punch. Instead of hitting you his fist slams hard into the ground, you flipping backwards and blasting back at him. Before he can turn towards you and defend himself your left foot crashes into his back. “GYAHH!”

Your attack sends him flying, Leyas tumbling over and over until he can reorient himself. But you don’t simply sit back and watch, rushing after him to take back momentum. When he reorients himself the first thing he sees is your fist, you driving your left punch right into his nose. Disoriented by your attack, he’s unable to counter as you go on the offensive.

“HAAAAA! HAAA HAAA HAAA HAAA HAAA!!!” you shout with each strike, hitting Leyas over and over and over again. Your punches and kicks crash hard into your friend, unable to stop your barrage of heavy blows. With a knee to the gut you wind him, and with a final shout slam a two-handed axe-handle to his back, sending him crashing down to the ground.
“Goooo Dad!” little Chilli shouts, pumping a fist in excitement. “You can do it!”

You flash a thumbs-up to your boy, then turn your attention back to Leyas as he fires off an Explosive Wave with a shout of frustration.

“Is that all you’ve got?!” he roars, golden aura flaring around him wildly as he begins gathering ki into his hands. “I’m not done yet!”

Well? What now?
>Rush and attack, keep up the pressure on him
>Defend, see what he’s got up his sleeves

“Oh yeah?” you reply, flaring your aura up as well. “Bring it!”
“HAAAAAA!!” he shouts, firing a wave of ki at you from his right hand. But unlike a usual ki wave, the attack fires out from his palm in a cone, it expanding as it travels towards you leaving you no room to dodge.
“Barrier!” you shout, your shield springing up around you and protecting you from Leyas’s attack. After a second or three it ends, you ending your technique. Surprisingly Leyas moved after firing, not where he shot at you from. Your eyes widen in surprise, but before you can look around Leyas’s fist slams right into your cheek.

“DYAAAA!” he roars, attack detonating against your right cheek and sending you flying. His blast stung, you unprepared for the sudden burst of power right in your face. But you don’t let it slow you down, flipping once to reorient yourself then blasting back at him. Leyas roars and charges as well, you swinging with a left as he swings with a right. Both of your punches connect, your fist striking his jaw as his punch hits yours. For just a moment your mind flashes back to your childhood, when you and Leyas fought each other to see who was the stronger quite often. Snapping back to the present you swing with your right fist, Leyas swinging with his left and both of your fists crash into each other. You and Leyas grab each others’ hands, trying to push the other as you grab each others’ shoulders, grappling as you had in your youths.

“Trying to overpower me?” he asks, smirking. Back on Planet Vegeta, wrestling was a popular way for disputes to be settled without it coming to potentially-lethal fighting. It had few rules, like most Saiyan fighting, but the only real rule was the first to take the others’ tail was the winner. “Bring it on!”

You both drop from the air, landing back feet-first on the ground as you continue to push against each other. You keep your own power in check, not wanting to crush your friend but simply push him to do his best. Steadily increasing the pressure, you begin to overpower him.

“C’mon, is this all you’ve got?” you ask, Leyas snarling wordlessly in response. Yet he increases his power further, pushing you back slightly. That’s the spirit!
“HAAAAA!” he shouts, swinging his head at you. You respond in kind, foreheads slamming into each others. Pulling back you crash your heads against each other a dozen times, with each hit you feel Leyas’s strength starting to drop. It seems he’s at his limit.

“N-Not yet! I’m not done!” he shouts, you suddenly feeling his ki surging again. You sense his energy gathering into his mouth, seeing him preparing to firing a point-blank Mouth Blast in your face. With only moments to act, you pull him to you instead of pushing against him, pulling your knee right into his gut. Leyas gasps out breathlessly, your strike winding him and robbing his strength. With Leyas now unable to breathe, he releases you and clutches at his gut, dropping to a knee as he reverts to his base form. Taking advantage of the opening you grab onto his tail, Leyas freezing in place.

“It’s over.” you say, releasing him a moment later. “I win.”
“...Damn.” he says a few moments later, once he finally catches his breath. “I thought I had you, too.”
“It wasn’t a bad attempt.” you say, holding a hand down to your friend. He takes it appreciatively, you hauling him back up to his feet. “I’m impressed.”
“Heh, I’m just getting started.” he says, you seeing the fire in his eyes. “I’m gonna catch up to you, and one day I’ll surpass you Karn.”
“I’m not gonna take it easy on you then.” you say, the two of you clasping forearms. “I won’t let you beat me easily.”
“I’d expect nothing else.” he says, Chilli running up excitedly.
“You won!” he says, leaping up to you.
“Yeah I did.” you say, catching him and setting your boy on your shoulder. Nappa and Tunnip walk up, the four of you all catching up a bit before you hear the all-too-familiar sound of Leyas’s stomach growling. You all have a laugh, your friend taking off to get something to eat.

“What about you Karn?” Nappa asks, you turning to your large friend as Leyas flies off. “What’re you gonna do now?”

“I’ve got something important to take care of.” you say, looking to your son on your shoulder. “Chilli and I’ve got some more work to get to today.”
“Huh, we do?” your son asks, looking to you curiously as Nappa and Tunnip grin knowingly. He and Tunnip say their goodbyes, flying off as Chilli keeps asking you. “What kinda work?”
“Today’s the day.” you tell him, lifting him off you shoulder and setting him on the ground before you. “Starting today, we’re gonna make you a Super Saiyan.”
“R-Really?!!” Chilli asks, eyes lighting up. He’s so clearly excited you can’t help but chuckle, ruffling your son’s hair.
“Really.” you tell him, backing up a step and powering back down to your base form. “Ready?”
“I’M READY!!” he shouts excitedly, rearing to go.

“Alright that’s enough, let’s take a short break.” you say an hour later, Chilli barely standing on his feet. You’d explained to him how the correct transformation worked and varied from the incorrect one, then tried to help him transform. He listened to your explanation, and you had him sense your ki as you transformed to get a better idea of it for himself, yet couldn’t do it. He became a False Super Saiyan three times, yet was still unable to fully transform. And as he is now his energy is flagging and he’s barely standing, you unsure if he could manage transforming improperly a fourth time without simply passing out. “We still have all day, don’t need you falling asleep on me already.”
“N-No.” he says, swaying unsteadily on his feet, eyes unfocused. “I’m not. Gonna. Give up.”

You can’t help but smile at your son’s determination, your boy reminidng you of yourself. Suddenly you remember how you helped King Vegeta control his Super Saiyan power, pushing him to his limits and pushing him to transform. So you decide to do the same with Chilli, lifting into the air and gathering your ki.

“Alright Chilli, this is it!” you say, flashing up to a Super Saiyan. “It’s now or never! If you don’t transform, you won’t be able to stop this! Haaa!”

You toss a rather large ball of ki down at your son, you sensing him one last time taking his False Super Saiyan form and catching your massive attack. You feel him pushing with all he’s got against your attack, yet he’s unable to push your attack back. You press just a little bit harder, feeling your son starting to lose ground.

“C’mon Chilli, you can do it.” you think to yourself, feeling him trying his best to stop your attack. You feel your attack when it hits against the ground, your son underneath still yet trying to push it back. You feel your attack pressing him into the earth, and you’re about to end your attack when you feel it.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=PsiHRAObDV4

“RRRRAAAAAAA!!” your son roars as you feel his power explode, your attack sent right back at you. You easily evade it, your blast sent off into the void space. But you don’t follow it, your attention instead all focused on your son. Looking down, you’re filled with pride at the sight of your son, hair and aura glowing golden with Super Saiyan power. You fly down to him, smiling as your son’s newly-found Super Saiyan aura flares wildly around him. When he sees you you don’t see recognition in his eyes, your son overwhelmed by the rage. It only lasts for a few moments, however, as just as soon as it appeared it fades, your son falling over. Before he can hit the ground you catch him, seeing your son is already unconscious.

“You did it.” you say softly, holding your son in your arms. “I knew you could do it, Chilli.”

With your son now sleeping you take to the air, telling Meloka he did it as you take him to Tatsu’s, putting him on the spare bed your old man had set up for your kids. You tuck him in, leaving New Salda’s newest Super Saiyan sleeping peacefully as you walk back outside. With Chilli done for at least the next several hours, you now have the rest of the afternoon free.

But what will you do?

>Karn when Broly goes Green Super Saiyan 2 before him and promptly beats the shit out of him
>>
>>3289847
You spend a few moments deciding what to do next, transforming back to base as you do, but the thoughts of how moody Broly’d been since he had arrived easily makes this decision for you. Focusing your ki sense you find Broly by himself on the northern end of the continent, you lifting up into the air and flying off to him. It only takes you a few moments, your son standing alone in a rather sizeable crater. You cautiously fly down, looking curiously to your son.

“Hey Broly, what’cha doin’ way out here?” you ask, landing a few feet from your son. He turns to you, you seeing a very troubled boy before you. His frustration is almost tangible, his tear-streaked face more proof than needed. Instantly you feel your protective instincts kick in, taking a step towards him. But before you get closer he stomps a foot, the ground cracking beneath him as you feel his power rising.
“Why can’t I control it?” he asks, shouting at you as his aura begins climbing up around him. His body flashes up to a Siper Saiyan most likely without the boy realizing it, his gaze fixed on you. “It’s not fair! Why is my power so hard to control!! I, I jus- I can’t...”
“Broly...” you say, taking another step towards him. But suddenly his frustration overwhelms his reason, and with a roar explodes with amazing power. You’re blasted back, your son completely disappearing inside his powerful green aura. Dammit, he’s completely lost control. Focusing you flash up to a Super Saiyan, planting your feet as Broly’s power surges higher and higher.

“RRRRRAAAAAAAA!!!” he roars, blitzing right at you. With only a moment to act you cross your arms, blocking Broly’s wild punch. He hit you with more power than you expected, nearly taking your balance. Unrelenting Broly keeps up the assault, swinging his fists more than a dozen times into your guard and pushing you back. You’re impressed by his power but now’s not the time, right now your son’s hurting and he clearly needs your help. With his next right punch you move, catching his right fist with your left and holding his hand in place. Like a wild animal he tries to tear his fist from your grip, and when that doesn’t work he tries to punch your jaw with his left hand. But you’re ready, catching his other fist as well.

“Broly, listen to me.” you say, your son no longer listening, fully consumed by the rage and trying in vain to pull his hands free. You level your face to his, looking him right in the pupil-less eyes. “My son.”
cont
>>
His eyes widen at this, it seems THAT got through to him. You need to keep it up, he’s listening to you for now.

“Broly, you’re better than this.” you tell him, his focus entirely on you. “You’re stronger than this. You can control this power, Broly. I know you can.”
“Ka-Dad?” he asks, as reason slowly comes to him. You’re getting through to him, you just need to keep it up.
“I know you’re stronger than this Broly, you’re stronger than that anger can ever be.” you tell him, you almost feeling your son fighting with the Berserk form’s boundless anger for control. “Because you’re my son, Broly. And the one thing my son will never do is give up.”
“...Dad...” he says, and after a moment you feel his power begin dropping. After a few moments you see him changing, reverting back to a normal Super Saiyan. As he does you let his arms go, Broly surprising you by flying into your chest, hugging you. “Tha-Thank you.”
“Of course.” you say, patting him on the back as he clutches to you like a drowning man to a float. You can only imagine how torn up he must still be after attacking Chaya and the others, but this display gives you a good idea. After several minutes he quits crying, wiping his nose on the back of his gauntlet and looking up to you.

“Thanks Dad.” he says, you then grabbing your son and pulling him into your embrace. He’s surprised for just a moment, then relaxes in your grip. You then hold him out at arm’s length.
“C’mon Broly, let’s not stop now.” you tell him, letting your son go and taking your stance. “We’ve got the rest of the day to train, let’s keep at it.”
“Right!” he shouts excitedly, shouting as he again goes Berserk. You spend the next few hours training with your son, helping him try and maintain control of his Berserk power until the sun goes down. As the light fades you both return to your base forms, flying together to the large mess hall and getting something to eat. Once you’ve both eaten your fill Broly flies off to Tatsu’s, sensing your other children there. However Meloka flies to you, the two of you again spending the night alone together far outside the city, waking up again on the sandy beach of your private island. After spending the night together, waking up still in your Super Saiyan forms and washing the sand and night off of each other.

“So, is it’s time to get back to training?” Meloka asks, you both getting dressed in the early morning light.
“Yeah.” you reply, stretching out a bit and working the kinks out of your neck. You’ve spent enough time off of your own training, it’s time to get back to it.

But what training will you start your each of your mornings with?

Remember everyone, Berserk is how we get Improved Regular SS Forms, each with double the PL Mutlipliers of the normal forms, and its how we get access to much more powerful forms such as Berserk 3, which STARTS 4 times more powerful then Regular Primal, and caps at 9 Times it's strength.

It's the best long term choice guys. We can just go Emerald Oozaru in the future to get Berserk Primal.

I've seen it before on other questing sites.

People see that votes are going forwards, usually in a direction they atleast don't mind progressing towards, so they just sit back and read instead of voting and participating.

Honestly, considering the lead that Berserk has, I'm surprised people are still voting for it.

My best guess is they saw the update and just immediately voted, rather then paging down, and seeing if what they want to win is actually in the lead or not like most probably do.

“Yeah it is.” you say, then ask, “What about you? What kinda training are you planning to get into?”
“I’m gonna keep working on Super Saiyan 3.” she says, hands linked and arms held over her head, stretching. “That power could make all the difference if something like Trigon or Dabura shows up again.”
“You’re not wrong there hun, that power’s something else.” you say, embracing your wife and kissing her passionately a moment. “I wasn’t expecting you to surpass me by that much. I gotta work hard to keep up if I don’t want to get left behind.”

“Ha. So you’re working on your Berserk power?” she asks, you nodding to her as you both lift into the air. You don’t want to accidentally this entire island, the two of you moving from your private hideaway back to the mainland. You touch down on the southern end of the Glass Plain, you both transforming into your strongest forms. You transform into your Berserk form as Meloka goes Super Saiyan 3, the two of you powering up then sparring against each other. You and Meloka spend two hours this morning, and every morning for the next week working on your most powerful forms. Meloka pushes herself as hard as she can, each day pushing her ability to hold onto the prodigious power of Super Saiyan 3 for at least another minute. Meanwhile your own progress with your transformation isn’t as noticeable as hers, at least to yourself. But perhaps others would notice something different?

But each day after the two of you train your own transformations, you wake the kids and take them out to hunt breakfast for you all, Chaya Broly and Chilli hunting enough breakfast for the three of them, as well as for you, Meloka, and the twins. With breakfast finished, you would then move into the next part of your training.

Which is?
>Train the kids’ toughness, they need to be far more durable
>Work with them on their transformations, each of your kids have different needs
>Work with the Guardian on finally getting that Hamon power down
>Train your ability to use your Stand, [DRAGON FORCE]
>Work on Djem So under Darth Bane’s spirit’s tutelage

I mean....once we hit 70 or 80, the power loss is going to start kicking in, and then we'll die soon after. I remember GD talking about Saiyan Lifespans before.

So, since thats another 40 years I wouldn't call it a long time, and we can easily double or triple that with Hamon.

Plus we should try and combine it with our Stand.

Ah, to bad anon, it's been dry and hot here if overcast and foggy as hell. Which is funny since half of the central US and the eastern coast have been buried under snow and rain.
>>
>>3291380
The sky is currently falling where i'm at.
The rivers are full, the creeks are full, the ponds are full, the ground is full.

Each morning after breakfast you take time alone to practice, communicating telepathically with the Sith Lord Darth Bane now connected to you mind to instruct you in his own fighting style; Djem So, or the way of the Kryat Dragon. And on this first morning, you find the ancient spirit far more cooperative than he’s been at some points in the past.

“Hey, Bane, can you hear me?” you think out, and after a few moments the Sith spectre appears before you.
“No, I cannot.” his voice appears in your mind, the ghost appearing in his usual form, long black cloak covering his massive frame. Not many people are larger than you, but this Bane is one of the few. “Sending messages telepathically doesn’t create sound, it merely transfers the ideas.”
“Not the lesson I was looking for today.” you tell him, still telepathically. You aren’t sure if he’s actually there or only in your mind, but-
“I am only present in your mind.” he replies, conjuring an image of his holocron in his hand. “My spirit is still safe within my holocron back on the ship, but I can appear before you in your mind’s eye through the telepathic link.”
“Great.” you reply, knowing something else you hadn’t this morning. “But I’m rather interested in this Djem So style you were talking about before.”

“As I knew you would.” his spectre says, tossing it’s cloak aside. As he tosses the cloak it vanishes, revealing him wearing a dark, seemingly-armored suit tailored for him. He pulls a metallic-seeming curved handle from his belt, red blade springing to life. So he does, or at least did, have a weapon similar to the Guardian’s. “Now, let us begin!”

He starts with the basics, having you create your Super Ki Blade and examines it. After deeming your weapon ‘suitable’ he walks you through the basics, which you realize is just different enough from any style you’ve used before to keep it from being intuitive.

“No, not like that.” he tells you for the dozenth time, bringing your attention back to your grip. You see that your wrists again ended up at a 90 degree angle to each other, instead of being in-line as they should be. You sigh out in frustration, resetting your wrists and returning to the style’s stance. With your wrists lined up properly once again you hold your blade overhead, left leg forward with your toes pointing ahead, and right leg back with toes pointed at a 45 degree angle. “Better. And again.”

“HAAA!!” you’d shouted, stepping forward with your right foot as you swing down in the Djem So strike known as the ‘Falling Avalanche’. You have to admit it’s a powerful attack, putting all your weight and strength behind the blade. Every strike in this style is like that, emphasizing the user’s power to overwhelm an opponent and make your own openings in their defenses to exploit. And as you soon find out, the style isn’t limited to only using a blade, or even your Gravity Hammer.
cont
>>
>>3291500
You are also taught by Darth Bane how to use this style bare-handed, you finding out that it suits you quite well.

“This form isn’t about recklessly throwing your power around.” he instructed, examing your open-handed fighting stance. “Your first priority when fighting is your own survival. If you die, that’s it; you’ve lost forever. Fighting with Djem So is simple in theory, yet can be extremely difficult. Djem So is built upon defense: you have to let your opponent take the initiative. And as they attack you counter, you deflect it and retaliate with overwhelming power. Like this:”

With that he conjures two ghostly illusions, you watching as the one in your own stance is attacked. Deflecting the strike aside with his left hand, the spectral you retaliates with a hard strike to the other’s jaw, knocking it to the ground.

“So you counter, then retaliate twice as hard.” you say, hand to your chin.
“Exactly.” he says, nodding at your understanding. “This form isn’t the best for taking the fight to your opponent, but for crushing any who step up to you.”

After your two hours of training Djem So with Darth Bane each day, you would then move onto one last training before lunch.

Honestly....looking at it....it seems another benefit of Hamon is it's not as acrobatic as Su Ma. We see it with Raven and the Jojos. You have to train hard to maintain your Breathing to use Hamon, and the high intensity movement of Su Ma seems like it would more likely disrupt the pace of our breath, then Djem So more static and counter focused.

Each day after your training in Bane’s Djem So style, you then move to the Guardian’s island for the next bit of your training. Despite your earlier failures you keep at it, and after two days the Guardian finally succeeding at awakening Hamon within you. The feeling of this unique energy radiating from you is something you’d never experienced before, you feeling the rippling energy coursing through your veins with each breath. Over the next several days after the Guardian unlocks your ability to use Hamon he begins teaching you, you sitting beside Raven and working on controlling your breathing. The first day training with him after awakening to Hamon you’d spent the time only controlling your own breathing, you getting frustrated with seemingly doing nothing.

“What does sitting around just breathing have to do with training?” you’d asked, rising up to your feet. With all the training you do, spending your time sitting around and breathing wasn’t how you’d planned to spend your time. “What’s the point?”
“Frustrated, you are.” he’d said, rising unsteadily to his feet from his seat on the rock. “With me, you come.”
“Anything beats sitting here.” you’d said, following him as he hobbled to the water’s edge.
“A walk, you take.” he said, then gestured out to the ocean. “On you go.”
“Wait, are you serious?” you’d asked him, looking at the ancient creature like he’d lost his marbles. “You can’t walk on water.”

“Much to learn, you still have.” he said, taking a Hamon breath then stepping out onto the waves. You could feel your jaw trying to drop, watching the small creature walking out on the surface of the waves. He takes a dozen steps out then turns to you, the water visibly rippling out from his feet.
“Woah.” you’d said as he turned to face you, looking pleased with himself. But before he can say anything a coughing fit overcomes him, the Guardian suddenly dropping beneath the waves as his breathing is disrupted. Raven springs into action without hesitation, appearing and snatching him from the water as he keeps coughing uncontrollably. After a few moments his coughing fit subsides, yet he still looks pleased with his example. “You okay?”
“The ravages of age, forever, one cannot escape.” he says, getting his breathing back under control. “No matter the steps, one takes. Yet essential, breathing is, to working with Hamon.”
“I’ll remember that.” you’d said, resuming the breathing lesson. Each day after training your breathing it was time for lunch, you meeting with your family at the large mess to grab lunch. Each day after lunch, you enjoying the time with your whole family there you’d move onto the next stage of your training.

Okay everyone lets chat abit.

We have 1 or 2 Training Timeslots left.

We can train Dragon Force, Kids Transformations, PL Gravity Training, and Write In left.

Chosing only 1 or 2 which would you pick? I'm inclined to practice Dragon Force, because its the only reason we beat Trigon, and we know it still has a shit ton of hidden abilities, and should be the fastest to Master and clear up a slot.

Otherwise, I'd say help train the kids Transformations, to get synergy from training our Berserk and Brolys, and because I don't want to increase our base PL TOO MUCH in case we lose control in Berserk/somehow reach Ascended Berserk, and lose our mind.
>>

After lunch you take your three oldest, Broly, Chilli and Chaya back to the Glass Plain to resume their training. The first two days you train them alone, but after that you started getting a surprising audience.

“C’mon kid, is that all you got?” Tiveus shouts as you knock Chaya off her feet, the dozen or so Jiralhanae cheering her on as she shakily rises back to her feet. “Your old man doesn’t hit that hard, keep going!”
“He hits hard enough to take your ass down, kid.” one of his older-seeming men taunts, the aliens all laughing as you continue the assault. The Jiralhanae were a surprising, yet welcome addition to you training them, giving them the encouragement they needed. With only the four of you present you found it hard to really press the attacks, and they wouldn’t push themselves quite to their limits. But with the ever-present friendly heckling of the Jiralhanae, each of their individual prides pushing them back to their feet long after they would’ve previously given up. None of your kids want to quit in front of an audience and appear weak, yet that isn’t the only thing that pushes them back to their feet over and over.

“C’mon Chaya, don’t give up.” Broly says, your daughter smiling her gap-toothed smile at Broly as she rises then again taking her defensive stance, swaying unsteadily on her feet. You switch targets to Broly, giving her a minute to catch her breath. But even while training them, you’re also doing your own training at the same time.
“Just like that, now strike!” Bane’s phantom speaks in your mind, instructing you on using the basic strikes of Djem So. You follow his instruction, pressing Broly’s defenses well past their limits. “I must say, I’m pleasantly surprised. I didn’t take you for the type to train his own children in this way.”
“The universe is a cruel place.” you reply to him, using the Crashing Avalanche strike to break through Broly’s guard and send him impacting the ground. “If I don’t strengthen them enough to survive the perils the universe will send our way, they will die. And as their father I refuse to let that happen!”

Thanks for running as always!
What does Bane think of Karn now by the way? Does he still think we're being foolish by not embracing the Dark Side? Or did he slowly change his view after seeing how Karn is?
>>
lets see what we can do with hamon too. should be good. and more importnetly, can it power up ubo

Glad you enjoyed. He believes he can turn you to the way of the Sith. But it would require a more delicate touch, and patience. But patience and careful planning are some of Bane’s specialties.
>>3292678
You can fight vampires, and actually put them down for good. Once you learn to control it, that is.

Karn really should learn Powerball sometime soon. It'll take juuust one day, if that, for someone of his tier.
And think! Powerball infused with Hamon? Powerball + Dragonforce? Powerball + Hamon + Dragonforce?
>>

...hamon powerball, huh?
i mean, moonlight is just reflected sunlight. you could probably generate a super-strong powerball if you infused it with hamon. like a lighthouse of sorts, just hang it high over a planet in place of an actual moon.

“You’d go to any lengths to protect those you hold dear, wouldn’t you?” Bane’s spectre asks you as Broly recovers, flipping back to his feet looking little worse for wear. “Most don’t have the guts or the spine to go this far, yet you truly understand. Who did you lose, to finally come to this realization?”
“I’ve lived my life in war.” you tell the ghost, delivering a quick five strike combination that again knocks Broly down. “As long as I can remember, all I’ve ever known was war. I know what happens to the weak in this world, they are at the mercy of the strong. So I want my children to be the strongest, so they can choose their own destiny.”

“If only more of my kind had understood that, instead of letting the false ideology of equality blind them.” Bane says thoughtfully as Broly pushes himself back up a little slower than before. But once he’s upright you go at it again, Broly withstanding a dozen of your attacks before getting knocked down again. This time he doesn’t immediately get back up, you ending the session for the day. “Yet I must say I’m impressed, Karn. Keeping your breathing as steady as you have been while pushing them, have you perhaps begun to learn Hamon as well?”

“How did you-?” you ask, before realizing you’d just confirmed his suspicions. Damn, you have to pay more attention. “Yeah, the Guardian’s been teaching me.”
“Good job you three, especially you Chilli.” you say, your son still laying on his back where you’d knocked him earlier. He’s still noticeably weaker than his older siblings, but that just motivates him to work twice as hard. “Rest up, you all deserve it.”
“Blegh!” Chaya says, dropping flat on her back to the ground. “I’m beat!”
“Here kid, you took it like a champ.” Tiveus says, handing her a waterskin. Instead of drinking it your daughter pours most of it over her face, only drinking the last little bit. “Hahahaha you kids are something else, a real chip off the old block.”

Each day after training them physically and toughening them up, you have one more training to get to before the end of the day.

But what training will that be?

And with all the options before you, you find the choice is rather easy. Conjuring your Stand it appears wrapped around your right arm, you remember how you’d used it to tear Trigon apart. [DRAGON FORCE] posesses immense power, with the severe downside of lowering your own defenses in exchange. You look down at the psychic manifestation, it’s jaws large enough to chomp down on your own head. Your Stand is a powerful weapon, and one you need to spend more time mastering. That decided you leave the Glass Plains behind, goingn deep into the forest by yourself to start training. At first your training is simple, you learning the limits of it’s attack range. With each punch from your right hand you send your Stand forward, it biting or slashing at an old, fallen tree you stuck upright in the ground.

After several days of testing you discovered your Stand’s current maximum range is 5 yards in any direction from your right fist. That is, of course, only in your base form. Your Super Saiyan or stronger variants are far larger and stronger, but you focus your time on training your base Stand. With most other people unable to see it while in your base form, unlike while Super Saiyan, making it a potentially devastating sneak attack weapon. As you train, you find several new and unique ways to attack with your Stand. The first method you work on is conjuring your Stand around your fist the instant before striking your target. This technique makes any punch pack far more power, piercing straight through your target. The second attack method you work on, however, is far more subtle and dangerousz When punching at a target you send your Stand low along the ground, it coming up behind your target. As your fist connects from the front your Stand attacks from the object’s back, making your attacks twice as hard to defend against. You also practice aiming with your Stand, tossing small stones and other objects into the air and having [DRAGON FORCE] charge through them all, or burn them to ashes with it’s fire.

You spend two hours a day training your Stand’s capabilities, and after training heading back to the city. That first day, however, you’d met another training in the forest far from prying eyes.

“Dammit!” you hear Vegeta shout, rushing to the King and seeing him training with Emilia. Or rather Emilias. Your jaw drops in surprise as you see Vegeta surrounded by four Emilias, each of them attacking him at the same time. You watch as King Vegeta IV does his best to defend himself, strikes pummeling him from every side. “GRRRAAAA!”

With a roar he fires an Explosive Wave, it blasting the four Emilias back. Taking advantage of the opening he rushes the nearest one, dominating her. Extending your ki sense you feel she’s not anywhere near her full power, unless you combined the four of them... So that’s what she did. You watch as Vegeta presses the attack, until another comes up behind him and lifts him overhead, suplexing him into the ground.

“C’mon, you gotta pay more attention.” she says, her four bodies merging back into one. “You’ll never beat Father if you let your guard down like that.”
“That’s an impress technique, Emilia.” you say, walking into the clearing as Emilia helps Vegeta to his feet. “I assume that it’s a secret?”
“Yes, it is one of my family’s secret techniques.” she says, powering down. Her power drops, the lightning no longer dancing around her body. “You won’t tell anyone about it, will you?”
“Of course not.” you say, Emilia sighing out in relief. “Training for Silva’s arrival?”
“Yeah.” Vegeta says, wiping his mouth on the back of his glove. “She’s been showing me some of the techniques he will probably use. But she’s not as strong as her father, and this training can only go so far. Will you help?”
“Of course.” you say, stepping up. “Did you even have to ask?”

But what kind of training will you help Vegeta with?
>Sparring, go full-power and have him fight you as best as he can
>Let him go all-out with attacking you, see if he can break through your defenses

You are more than willing to help King Vegeta prepare for his upcoming match with Silva Zoldyck, but you needed a plan. You’d fought him yourself before, standing on an even playing field with the assassin power-wise. You’re certain he’s grown stronger since you’d last met him, but you doubt he could overpower Vegeta now. That said, Silva’s a big guy; and Vegeta could use that against him. You spend every evening training with the king for the next week, helping him work on his Su Ma Grappling. With the king being far shorter than either you or Silva, or even Emilia’s true form, that makes this Su Ma style his best chance for taking him down non-lethally. Day after day you practice with the king, him using the grapples against both you and Emilia. With each passing day his technique becomes noticeably sharper, by the end of the week Vegeta can even catch a punch from you, and using your momentum dislocate that arm.

After each day practicing with the king you’d find your family and eat supper together, then spending time relaxing with them before sending them off to bed. And before you know it a week has passed, you training with the kids after lunch when you feel it: the Zoldycks have arrived.

“That’s it for today.” you tell your three to their and your small Jiralhanae audience. You take off, leaving them there as you blast off to the palace. You’d already told them to stay away when the assassins showed up, you didn’t want your children anywhere near them. You touch down as King Vegeta, with Nappa and Emilia in tow, walk out of the palace to greet the Zoldycks. The Royal Guard line both sides of the path to the palace, both as an honor guard and a show of force. You land beside the younger Zoldyck girl, who’s currently in her true form. The two of you stand behind Vegeta and Nappa, your friend standing at attention to the King’s left as the assassin’s ship touches down. A moment later it’s ramp descends, several black-suited humanoids walking out and forming their own guard close on either side of the ramp. You watch as Silva and Zeno Zoldyck descend, as well as a tall, slender woman. She’s in a formal dress of sorts, wide hat on her head and some sort of metal mask covering part of her face. The Zoldycks have arrived.

But what do you do?

Whisper to Emilia to go stand by Vegeta, let her send a clear message about her intentions before it even starts. Interesting, writing.
>>
>>3294088
“You should go stand by Vegeta.” you whisper to Emilia, the girl glancing to you but clearly not wanting to take her eyes off her family. But after a second’s thought she gives you a slight nod, stepping up to Vegeta’s right as the assassin trio descend the ramp and touch down on New Salda.
“No matter what happens, I’ve got your back.” you telepathically tell Vegeta, your king not responding, focused on the trio before him. A second later you open your ki senses, making sure it’s only the three of them and their guards. None others have left the ship, yet you sense two regulars and maybe three other Zoldycks within. Their signals are faint, as if masking their power, but unmistakably there. But are they more kids, or are they weapons held in reserve in case this goes badly for them?

“Greetings, Saiyan King Vegeta.” Zeno Zoldyck says, nodding slightly.
“Greetings, assassin Zeno Zoldyck and family.” Vegeta replies in kind. “I take it your hunting went well?”
“Of course.” the older alien says with a smile. It looks out-of-place, giving you a creeping feeling up your spine. “The Zoldycks never miss a target. Speaking of, greetings, Saiyan Karn. Your powers have grown much since we last met.”
“Greetings.” you reply, returning his nod back. But you notice the woman in thr dress glaring death at you. Even through her metallic face mask, you can feel her bloodlust directed at you. But who is she?

“Grandfather. Father.” Emilia says happily, than in a far darker tone: “Mother.”
“It is good to see you well, child.” Zeno says before the woman can, the old man trying to defuse the situation before it explodes. Silva, however, is having none of it.
“I owe you for looking after my daughter.” Silva tells you, sounding as if he’s trying not to hurl. He then turns to Emilia, expression softening. “Come on, it’s time to go back home.”
“No.” she says defiantly, Silva and the woman reacting as if they’ve been shot. “I’m staying here.”
“No.” her mother says, a dark purple aura beginning to glow around her. “I’m not losing another child to these monsters, even if I have to drag you myself!”
“Kikyo, I’ll handle this.” Silva says, grabbing thw woman who you assume is his wife and pulling her back a step, two of the suited Zoldyck attendants moving up to her as Silva steps forward. His glare is murderous, fixed square on Vegeta.

Ignoring the large amount of magical McGuffins hidden on earth for some stupid reason, I like the sheer amount of Variety in martial arts styles and skills that you can find amongst the people on the planet, even if most of them are not a threat to Karn.
>>
>>3295335
Yeah compared to every other planet in the Universe, Earth is a lot more varied in what you can find.
Every other planet just seems really homogenized.
>>
>>3295347
Probably because every planet's environment is uniform as fuck, for some reason. Earth seems to be the only planet with some variation to it's environment, and different day to day challenges gave rise to different cultures and such, I guess. Makes sense that everyone's culture's going to be more or less the same when the entire planet is a giant glacier, or desert, or some weird hilly forever temperate blue-green blob of meh.

To be fair there aren't that many people around who aren't outgunned by Karn in this parcel of space-time.
Are there even a full 100 people stronger than Karn in his universe right now?
>>
>>3297236
I'd say that Dabura and Shin can still take Karn, were we to fail some higher DCs, but aside from that MAYBE Paikuhan, assuming he's even dead already.

Other than these three it's up to GD to think of some new all-powerful opponents, the sky's the limit

On the topic of the glassfields, when the Prophets are dead and the covenant isn't a threat we should put up a memorial in the center of the glassfields and have a ceremony a bit like in this video.

>To be fair there aren't that many people around who aren't outgunned by Karn in this parcel of space-time.
True. But it’s one thing to fight Karn 1v1, and quite another to attack unprovoked on his home planet surrounded by allies who’d fight to the death to keep him alive. As for who could take him, not many. A few could potentially take Karn down, especially those with magic.
>>3297250
The Supreme Kai would be a coin flip, Dabura could most likely, Raven could with the right setup, and Ubo definitely could. The goat, Aku, and Babidi also could feasibly defeat Karn.

>at some point maybe Karn should bring up how Silva and himself are a lot alike
generally speaking you don't try and get cozy with the father of a child you deleted.
>>
>>3303615
I mean, we’ve also been protecting one of his children from a bunch of assassins as well, and saved his life at one point. Besides, his kid tried to kill us, he’s a professional, he really shouldn’t have gotten as salty as he did if we killed him in turn to defend ourself.
>>
>>3303760
Karn doing favors for his family doesn't unkill his kid. While it was business (and very much justified), he's certainly allowed to hold a grudge I feel.
Hypothetically speaking, would Karn not vaporize his entire clan if one of his kids ended up getting killed by a Zoldyck?
>>
>>3304201
When they inevitably tried to protect the one in question, yes, but if Karn hunted the one that did it down he would leave it at the one that did it.
>>

Good question. My answer is the same as it’s always been for fan content, including the anons who wanted to write smut: You are free to write whatever you want. My only request is that you do not pretend to be me while doing it.

Not the guy who asked, but I'm glad you clarified on this issue. I was knocking around the idea of doing a one-shot thread in this timeline based around some low level warriors in a time frame that got skipped over.
Just for curiosity's sake, how do you go about planning the sequences of events and keeping track of things.
>>
>>3305178
>>3304619
Of course, this would only be in the event of a regular episode of SCQ being delayed or cancelled for whatever reason.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 78 Epilogue-

AGE 743, NEW SALDA

You feel yourself shaking in terror, witnessing a sight you’d hoped to never see again: Covenant warships approaching New Salda. You are Beetz, Saiyan, and head of communications for your beloved ruler, King Vegeta IV. You have been in charge of his communications since after the Big Gete Star’s invasion, your superior Cumber having been killed by one of the rampaging metal monsters. As you shake in fear a transmission comes towards your radio control system, you seeing it comes from their leading ship. With trepidation you accept the communications, seeing the face of one of the Covenant creatures.

“Greetings, Saiyans of New Salda.” the definitely-male voice says, you seeing the creature just as it sees you. “I am Chief Tiveus Relezeus, formerly of the Covenant empire. I have come to seek an audience with your king, the one known as King Vegeta.”
“What business do you have with him?” you ask, trying your best to not seem intimidated and get as much information from him as you can. “My king is busy, if you-“
“Enough of your mewling, child.” he says, your eye twitching. “Fetch me your king at once. I have no time to speak with the help.”
“You-!” you start angrily, then remembering the words of your mentor. Anger is good, in battle. But when exchanging words, showing anger is like offering an enemy your tail. You have to rise above his provocations. “One moment, and I’ll see if he’s available.”

With that you hang up on the Covenant asshole, and press the comm button linking directly to his private training room beneath the palace

“King Vegeta, we have a problem.” you say, worried how he’ll take the news.
“What is it Beetz?” he asks, serious as always.
“We have four Covenant warships headed right towards us!” you say to him, unable to keep the panic out of your voice.
“Are you sure?” Vegeta asks you, you knowing your king well enough to know he’s worried. “Four Covenant warships?”
“Yes, my king.” you reply. “Their leader, who goes by the name Chief Relezeus, wishes to speak with you. And Karn, too.”

For several moments he says nothing, you used to him turning his comms off while thinking.

“Beetz?”
“Yes sir?” you reply immediately.
“Let them know to halt their ships right there.” he says, sounding serious. “Karn and I shall come up to meet with them in-person.”
“Of course my king.” you say, preparing to reconnect your comm systems with the Covenant ship. “Shall I have your ship prepared for departure?”

“No, that won’t be necessary, Beetz.” Vegeta says. “Moniter the ships for me while we’re up there, and if they take action let me know.”
“Of course.” you say, hitting the button to signal the Royal Guard. “I’ll have the Guard on standby if you need them.”
cont
>>
>>3305880

Thank you Beetz.” King Vegeta says, you feeling the usual warm glow in your chest you get whenever he thanks you. You just hope he’ll be okay up there.
“What are you thinking?” you ask yourself, shaking off your doubts. King Vegeta is amazing, and from what the long-range scanners are picking up no one on those ships could pose a reasonable threat to him. And he even has Karn with him. If anyone could protect your king, it’s him. Back to business! Pressing the button for the Royal Guard comm line you quickly inform them what’s happening, ordering two dozen of them on immediate standby. That completed you end comms with them, reconnecting to the Covenant ship. “My king has agreed to meet with you, but there are terms.”

“Terms?” he asks you, eyebrow raised. “Why should I agree?”
“Because my king is headed up there right now.” you say, the heavy-duty scouter showing him and Karn leaving New Salda’s atmosphere already. “He and Karn are coming to your ship in-person. You are to stop your fleet where they are until this meeting is concluded, and if you disobey him my king will know.”
“Hrmmm, very well, I shall meet on his terms.” the Chief says, ending the communication. Once his image fades you sigh out in relief. Those creatures give you the creeps, and it didn’t help your nerves seeing one of the weapons that almost killed you. Your mind drifts back to that terrible battle, when King Vegeta swooped in and saved you...

“GRRAAAA!!” one of the big Jiralhanae’d roared, kicking you. You’d managed to intercept his kick with your arms yet he was far too powerful, sending enough force through his kick to send you crashing down to the ground. You’d landed with a tremendous impact, clutching your now-broken left arm in pain. You watched helplessly as the creature lands a few feet away, lifting it’s hammer intimidatingly and chuckling as it walked closer.
“S-Stay back!” you’d shouted, sounding panicked and gathering your energy into your palm, then firing everything you had as a green beam, but it didn’t even phase him. He simply walked right through your strongest attack, holding his hammer overhead. You’d realized you were about to die, and nothing you could do would stop it. Like Cumber, Yamma, and all the others you’d lost in the previous battles, this was the end.

“DIE!” the creature’d shouted, swinging down at you. You’d closed your eyes as it came down, you accepting your fate. However, it wasn’t your place to die that day. Instead of turning you into a red smear on the ground something intercepted the attack, you looking up and seeing him: King Vegeta!
cont
>>
>>3305885
“Get off of my world!” King Vegeta shouted, golden aura blazing brilliantly as he obliterated the creature with a massive blast, then turned to you and offered a hand up. “You okay?”
“Y-Yeah.” you’d said, taking your king’s hand as he pulled you up to your feet. You may have been taller than the king, but in that moment he towered over you. Your savior had arrived, and you would do anything f-

“Beetz, can you hear me?” King Vegeta’s voice suddenly comes back over your comms, snapping you from your memories and scrambling back to the controls.
“Of course, my king.” you say after a moment. “Heading back?”
“Yes, and we have some guests.” he says. “Have the Guard ready to greet us when we land, we’ll be touching down on the Glass Fields.”
“Yes sir.” you say, and with a few dozen key presses send the rendezvous coordinates to every Royal Guard’s scouter at once. “Shall I inform General Nappa as well?”
“No need, I’ll tell him myself.” Vegeta replies, his voice then disappearing. You then freeze, realizing what he said: he’s bringing them on-world?!

“I hope you know what you’re doing...” you mutter to yourself, when suddenly the door behind you barges open. You nearly fall out of your chair in surprise, only to see the slender frame of one of the new kids picked for this job, and the bug-like Arlian recruit Haldor hurrying in.
“Sorry we’re late!” Argu says apologetically, the boy not much older than King Vegeta himself. But the difference between them is incredible, you’d think from how he acts that the king was ten years his senior. “Did I miss anything important?”
“Not much.” you say, suppressing a sly grin as you decide to play a prank on them. “Nothing out of the ordinary: we’ve had three merchant ships, two squads of returning Saiyans, and four Covenant warships show in the-“
“THE COVENANT?!!” he shouts in fear and shock, rushing for the panic button on your desk without hesitation. You barely snatch it away before he can press it, eyes wide with fear as you pull it away. “What are you-?!”

“Relax, King Vegeta’s already met with them.” you say, doing your best to mask your own unease. If your subordinates see you worried, it’ll be that much harder for them to stay calm. “He said they’re coming as guests.”
“Guests?” Argu shouts, incredulously. “GUESTS?! Is he out of his mind?”
cont
>>
>>3305890
“Watch your mouth!” you say sharply, the boy nearly falling over himself in a panic. You sigh out, then walk over and place a hand on his shoulder. “Look, I know you’re afraid of them. I am too. But trust in your king. Trust in King Vegeta.”
“But what if they attack him?” he asks. “What if they-?”
“They won’t.” you say, a small smile on your face. “Our king is far stronger than anything on those ships. And Karn is up there with him as well. They wouldn’t dare.”
“Wait, Karn’s there too?” he asks, sighing out as you nod affirmative. “That’s a relief. No one can can beat Karn.”

“Yeah...” you say, thinking back to the day he killed that massive demon. You remember watching in horror as Meloka, Lord Freeza, some guy you never met yet sometimes saw hanging around Karn, and even Freeza’s father were all beaten before Karn showed up. You don’t know what took him so long to arrive, but when he did it was one hell of a show. “The Dragon of New Salda” earned his name that day, Karn once again doing the impossible and tearing that monster apart from stomach to head. But he’s been like that for as long as you can remember, always the golden shining symbol of hope. And as long as Karn still stands, you and every other Saiyan know that your people will never be conquered. After all he’s proven himself to be the strongest in the universe, who else could ever hope to compare?

MEANWHILE, ON A FAR AWAY PLANET...

“You’re telling me that a lowly Saiyan managed to defeat one of the strongest demons in the Demon Realm?” you ask the Oracle Fish, eyebrow raised. “I find that hard to believe.”
“It’s true, I had a vision of it!” the small creature says, it as agitated as always whenever you doubt it. “And two weeks ago it happened! See for yourself.”
“Very well, I shall take a look.” you say with a sigh, lifting your staff and conjuring your star map. You move to the new world the Saiyans colonized, rewinding time two weeks in the image to see what happened. Sure enough you see a rather large demon there, watching as everyone falls to it. Seeing Freeza transform as his grandfather had was a surprise, yet it ended almost as quickly as it’d begun. Then you see a Saiyan blast through a hell portal, you thinking you recognizing him. You notice a spectral dragon wrapped around his upper body, it barely visible to you causing you to realize it’s exactly who you thought it is: Karn, the Super Sayan. But what can he do?
cont
>>
>>3305892
He showed you exactly what he could do, not only defeating but actually killing the giant demon. That phantom dragon around him has certainly matured, Karn seemingly able to summon it at-will. It changes with Karn’s transformations, as is only natural as a psychic extension of his fighting spirit. You are impressed with his power as well, fighting at a level far above what you thought he could reach. For a moment you’d wondered if this new green form of his was the prophesied Super Saiyan God, but being able to sense his power at that time through your staff’s magic dispels that notion.

“Well, that was certainly a show.” you say, ending the feed as Karn and his dragon roar victoriously in unison. You file that information about the Saiyan’s destructive potential away for later, but it seems the Oracle Fish has more to say.
“I’ve also had another vision about him.” he tells you, you looking curiously to him. “He will fight Lord Beerus.”
“And?” you ask, the vision of Karn brutally ending the giant demon by shredding several of his organs flashing in your mind. “With his power, what could he hope to do against Lord Beerus?”
“I had a vision, of Karn and a Super Saiyan God fighting Lord Beerus together.” the Oracle Fish tells you, seeming to be genuinely concerned. “And in my prophecy, they.... They actually killed him.”

“What?!” you say concerned, springing up to your feet in alarm. “How?”
“They gained the upper hand in the battle, and in his frustration Lord Beerus fired at the planet.” the Oracle Fish tells you, your full attention on his words. “This caused Karn’s rage to explode, him ending Lord Beerus much as he did the demon Trigon.”
“This cannot come to pass.” you say resolutely. Lord Beerus may be a lazy sloth of a God of Destruction, but you’ve come to actually enjoy his company and the time to yourself you get while he spends decades sleeping. “I will not permit this vision of yours to come true. Lord Beerus will not fall to either this ‘Super Saiyan God’, or to this Karn.”

Now if only whis remembers the crucial point of if beerus decides to want to commit suicide by karn via harassing the saiyans to not let him do it because once he does he goes the way of trigon. Hell even the Oracle fish said so.

>>
>>3307606
With the addition of the covenant forces added to his Kingdom, how is Vegeta handling the transition from King of sayains to Vegeta King of warriors / Mandalore?
>>
>>3305895
Honestly if this vision turns out to be true Beerus would have had it coming. The only reason he isn’t an outright antagonist in canon is that neither Goku nor Vegeta know he ordered Freeza to blow up Planet Vegeta. Even then I think only Vegeta would actually care. Goku wouldn’t give a shit. Plus they have Dragon Balls. Unless Beerus HAKAIs something when he destroys it, then it can be wished back.

In a different kind of story like this one Beerus would be a straightforward villain. A lazy god who sleeps most of the time but while awake destroys entire civilizations for even the most minor of reasons.

>implying I didn’t always dislike Beerus

It always rubbed me the wrong way how he and Whis became all buddy buddy with the main cast in canon. I know that this is Dragon Ball and most of Goku’s friends were asshole villains at some point but they at least got comeuppance or realized the error of their ways.

Granted the ‘Beerus ordered Freeza to blow up Planet Vegeta’ thing only showed up in Super iirc, not in Battle of Gods or Ressurection F. So it can be blamed on Toei, because Toriyama didn’t even acknowledge it in the new movie. But considering this is Toriyama, you can also blame him being a hack and forgetting again. It could be either one.

This is true. I think.
>>
>>3308206
Beerus is legitimately the worst character in Super.
Here's this god, right. And he destroys things, but it's his job so its ok. But he actually chooses to sleep for centuries at a time instead of doing his job properly because he's lazy, so it's not ok. And he also has an incredibly weird way of going about his job, not actually working with his counterpart or really checking for anything other than 'how much can these civilizations kiss my ass'.
So then he comes along with his big dick down to earth because of prophecy, and he starts a few fights due to being a brat or whatever. New transformations are acquired for the sake of the fight, standard fare I guess, heroes win at the end of the day. Except now they have this ultra powerful god who now hangs around like a fucking hobo on earth, who could destroy anything that comes at it in a heartbeat if he wanted to, but otherwise gets relegated to comedic relief. We already have comedic relief, and we already have absurdly powerful people to protect the earth, so why the fuck is he there? What purpose does he serve other than to destroy all possible stakes?
And for that matter, fuck Whis too! Whis has a fucking rewind button! And his teaching is a convenient excuse for whatever the heroes want to pull out of their asses! He's a more tolerable character personality wise, but in terms of that power skewing and tension ruining he's just as bad as Beerus! He ACTUALLY hit the reset button to undo all the consequences in the fight against Frieza!
>>
>>3308238
This is true, ans vis versa, if Beerus dies then Shin dies, if Shin dies then Beerus dies
>>
>>3308268
Once again, Toriyama is a hack.
>>
In all honesty Whis better realise that if Beerus blows New salda the fuck up because of him throwing a hissy fit at not being the strongest anymore then what happens afterwards is completely justified. You dont fuck with the guy who can perma kill gods and demons, and you especially dont kill his entire race and his family because of a temper tantrum.
>>
>>3308337
>>3308175
Wait a minute. Something just hit me. Is this the fucking origin to Punished Meloka’s timeline?

Whatever Whis might do to prevent Beerus’s death results in Karn’s death, causing Meloka to go completely insane to the point where she might go Berserk herself. An absolute madwoman with a vendetta against the gods. Even Chronoa wouldn’t be able to make The BOI go near that timeline.
>>
>>3308337
>karn and getes are kicking beerus' ass
>he gets pissed and blows up new salda
>chaya was down there
>meloka was down there
>ubo was down there
>everyone was down there
>"Hah, take that, saiyan! That's what you get for opposing a g- why does everything look, sound and SMELL green?"
>at that same moment, a roar that later echoed throughout all of time and space hakai'd beerus' eardrums
>>

I'm hoping atleast two people can use it, like in canon, without weakening the power. So Vegeta and Meloka could go god.

You know, I'm not even going to be here for most of tomorrow, but I'm going to roll just to see if I can get something decent, unlike most of the people who've rolled already.
>>
>>3308470
It would be quite a long time between anyone getting God and Blue.
>>3308490
>I'm hoping atleast two people can use it, like in canon, without weakening the power.
That idea’s been nixed. But I HAVE developed a much better way to work it. It will, however, have some routelocks for several characters.
>>
>>3308449
Botamo is irrelevant. Beerus actively makes Super worse. One is a character who was a one-off that has no special implications for the main cast that we care about. The other is a character who sticks around and continues to undermine the story and tension of the story.
Botamo is nowhere near as bad of a character as Beerus, no matter how much you hate his winnie-the-pooh ass.

>Botamo is nowhere near as bad of a character as Beerus, no matter how much you hate his winnie-the-pooh ass.
Wrong. Beerus is bad for the show, and destroys any stakes(except ironically the Tournament of Power) by being present, but he’s a fun character. But Botamo’s BORING! He has one of the most op powers displayed in the entirety of Dragonball, but does fucking NOTHING. He has no personality, or emotion or anything.

I don't know what to tell you, GD, except that we'll have to disagree. I just happen to think that a show-ruining character is worse than someone who's just boring and dumb.
>>
>>3308739
>Aren’t they another type of Time Breaker
They were created by the Universe 6 Tuffles, somehow they ended up stuck in the core of Fu's Prison Planet. Not sure if Heroes explained why they were there.

>>
>>3308799
That’s the thing, Beerus himself isn’t a bad character. The problem is they kept him around and by the spotlight which ruins any hope of believable tension.

>>3308889
But Beerus himself is indeed a bad character, as well as ruining the tension. There is nothing that's good about "Garfield, but he destroys planets and completely lacks morality and has no capacity for intelligent planning"
>>
>>3308901
>Garfield, but he destroys planets and completely lacks morality and has no capacity for intelligent planning"

>Garfield, but he completely lacks morality and has no capacity for intelligent planning"

Goku'd that for you.
>>
>>3308889
>I don’t want to type entire paragraphs in all caps.
He doesn't scream that often.....just for maybe a week while he comes to terms with how he feels his life should have gone....and then the conversation with Pink Bitch. Even after he gets sent back to his timeline and gets his memory erased, that niggling thought of, something amazing was found will never go away and pushes him to be better in a slight way. We can mindfuck him, no, it is our sworn duty to mind fuck him.
>>
>>3308889
>I don’t want to type entire paragraphs in all caps.
That's fair
