After death comes revival.
You are the honorable members of the Dvorehskan Duma, an assembly of the feudal lords of this young feudal nation, advising the elected Grand Knyaz - currently the man known as Vadim Gregorovich, celebrating his fiftieth birthday with a feast in the capital of Knezdvor. Over the past five decades, Dvoreshka has opened itself more to the world, first through contact with our eastern neighbours Olka, then with war and trade with the conquerors known as Ursir of the northeast and more recently the warmer coasts of the south. From Olka came much knowledge and a new religion, the Theophantic faith with its belief in one supreme Creator God, as opposed to your people's traditional pagan ways. Tension has brewed for decades over the influence of this foreign faith, yet it has undeniably brought much progress and activity to Dvoreshka.

Now on to matters of statehood. Last year we reviewed the efforts to train our own siege engineers, capable of constructing ballista and catapult siege weaponry, now part of our arsenal.

The Grand Knyaz is the leader of Dvoreshka and should such have a hand in it’s spirituality. All buildings of a religious nature such as temple, cult warrior lodges and more must seek permission from the Grand Knyaz before being constructed.

The pagan cults have their holy sites, which are places of power, congregation of priests and pilgrimages by their devout believers, but they lack real "Temples" - shrines and offering altars perhaps, but what we are building now in Knezdvor is the first real temple, which will have dedications to all the cults we recognize. Due to its location, it won't hold much use for actual communion and advanced rituals for the cults, but it will be a living, active center of culture, a place that bridges the divide from man's daily life and the spiritual. This temple won't just be a single building, but more of a complex of several structures and the space inbetween, suitable grounds for religious celebrations and congregation.

Enough assembly business now. The Grand Knyaz seems to be in declining health and won't have much longer, but until he is able to call the Duma once more, what have all of your factions been doing in the period from 1140-1150? Do your faction projects now, remember to post your assets until this point alongside your new project.
We'll be back next week.

Tribe of Vyat:
Settled by the coastline west of Svetales, the Vyati have always been undividedly devout followers of the Durvid. They are concentrated in the coastal town of Celllom though many farmsteads dot the plains inbetween there and the forest's edge. Great value is placed upon honor with duels over personal slights commonplace among their foolhardy youths. To dishonor yourself by lying or breaking your word is paramount to committing murder in their eyes. Even greater is the pursuit of glory that drives their people to organize raids upon the Mochorans to the north. While some would consider them pessimistic, the Vyati simply view death as a transition between either being reborn once more or joining the ancestors in a blessed existence. This burgeoning warrior culture has climaxed in the ascension of Boyar Stanimir who has begun organizing his people once more for a time of war.

Assets:
-Small Coastal Town (w/ Palisade, Roads, & Market)
-Scattered Farmsteads
-Small Ranger Order
-Durvid Advisors

Faction Project: Expand Small Ranger Order

With the recent attack on the Beast Cult, we have come to the realization that our current numbers are no where near enough to watch over all the forests of Dvorshka. We must expand so that nothing like this can happen again. Whereas before all of our recruits were drawn from Vyat, rangers have begun travelling to every settlement in the North to find those fit to join our ranks. Some new recruits have even been drawn from the capital itself despite their urban upbringing. All initiates will be brought back to the Svetales training camp where they will be put through our rigorous training regime to ensure they're hardy ranger stock. It may take some time but Ranko hopes that they'll be brothers of the order by the end of the decade.

The Prince’s Guard
All the sons of the boyars of our realm, upon reaching adulthood, must serve one year as part of the entourage of the Grand Knyaz. There they will serve as his bodyguards and officers in addition to receiving instruction in the many arts a man of nobility must master (primarily the art of war).
This will grant our ruler a better chance of building trust and friendship with those that will be his future vassals, it will allow our young men to network and learn new skills, and with time hopefully improve the quality of our military leaders.

Only a few months after the Prince's Guard was formed, Grand Knyaz Vadim Gregorovich passed away, falling down some stairs after a night of drunken feasting. A new ruler of Dvoreshka must be chosen and the first one to announce his candidacy is Vadim's son and new ruler of Yantar, Knyaz Vsevolod Vadimov Gregorovich - the one who had taken up the task of training the Prince's Guard after he'd just returned from his journeys abroad. He's a large man, known to be unbested in combat both thanks to his pure power and skill and claims to have the strength of body and will to lead Dvoreshka to greater conquests and glory. His interest in the spiritual is said to be none, having been seen at neither pagan nor theophantic rituals.

For the next seven minutes, only candidates for the position should post. After the ten minute mark, you may start supporting candidates.

A bearded man in a rather simple outfit enters the podium, from the tattoos on his face you can read that he’s a boyar, a follower of the Earth Cult, a father to three children and have yet to slay anyone in combat.

“I am Abadir Radjan, 45 years of age, I speak for the Samograd tribe. If you make me your Grand Knyaz I promise you the following:
I will deal with the Ursir, one way or another. Either they’ll willingly enter into our confederacy or they’ll be forced to bend the knee. The Mochorans shall be freed and reunited with their kinsmen in our realm.
Our faith being much the same meaning the transition into one realm being a smooth one. And with our realms united, we’ll be a formidable force to say the least.

As for the Olkans, they’re our allies and I see no reason to change that. But I will not allow them to enlarge their mission in our realm or carry out any action intended to subvert our unity. Anyone attempting to antagonize the Olkans as well as anyone attempting to assist them in bringing in more preachers than we already have will be harshly dealt with.

As for faith and tax, I intend to do nothing but to enforce what we already have. No new taxes and no meddling in whatever people desire to worship. Simple as that.”

Right, formal stuff - age, accomplishments, promises. Vsevolod is 26 this year, has been fighting since he was a wee lad and has spent years in Ursir where he has bested many of their finest champions. He claims some of the people there call him Hrork reborn, which may be connected to the fact he's a legitimized bastard of Vadim's, whose wife never gave him any sons. His promises are for a stronger military, leadership and glorious campaigns of raids and conquests.

Alyosha was captain of the silver guard under his fathers command in wars prior in the swamp lands he proved himself to be an able warrior and leader. The swamps were thicker than usual with blood of both sides turning the muddy water to a reddish ocre in colour.

He lead his part of the vanguards well to destroy the enemy. He stands for paganism and is devoted to the spirits and is regulary seen at the shrine of the sea and water spirits. He sees a future on the waves, trade and alliances to be forged.

We'll now be splitting our shipbuilding in two types - river ladyas and sea ladyas, the latter being larger and sturdier, built primarily for coastal and open-sea sailing, though still able to take to the larger rivers.

C. Construction

For too long have our people been kept apart by the lack of well-maintained roads across the width of our nation. I propose we begin building proper stone roads linking every tribe within our nation. This will allow our levies to gather much faster in times of war while also promoting trade and migration between the tribes. It may take a significant investment of time which is all the reason to begin now while our both our economy and people are flourishing.

A plan must now be made for action in this war.

A land invasion on Dabar would require an army to march for months across Dvoreshka, Olka and then Shlin. An invasion by sea can take two routes - a long one that keeps to the coasts, passing by Jaroslavizh(formerly Olfa), then Vatun, to reach Dabar - or a shorter one that enters the open sea after passing by the Uzhna delta.
The ladyas we have can carry up to 50 men each at most, including their crews. With room for supplies, the number would on average be around 40 instead. Including what vassals can supply, we believe we could bring up to 60 river ladyas and 5 sea ladyas all in all for this.

What we must decide upon are how many ships, troops and siege equipment we're looking to bring for this attack and what our goals would be. It should be noted that the region around Dabar is scarce in lumber we can use for construction on the spot and that the climate is notably warmer than what we are used to.

Present ideas, plans and information you might have on Dabar now so that a course of action can be formulated.
>>
>>3392092
After assessing how many ships we can scramble and how many men they can hold, we’ll do some basic math and muster that number of men, the “burden” spread evenly between all the boyars of our realm.
Before setting out we’ll construct a number of those newfangled siege machines that throw rocks, disassemble them and put them in the hold. Should save us some time when we get there.
We’ll also bring a load of foodstuff, drink and money with us, the former to be spread evenly between the ships and the latter to be stockpiled in the flagship.

Before setting out, a hugeass sacrifice to the spirits must be carried out, their blessing needed for smooth sailing.

As for route, we’ll play it safe and hug the coast, resupplying where we can underways.

Upon arrival, we’ll either make them bend the knee willingly or take them by storm. If we take the city by force then half the loot will be handed out to the boyars and soldiers, a quarter for the Grand Knyaz and the last quarter to be given to the first man to plant our flag on their walls.

Regardless of the city surrendering or being sacked, we’ll settle a strong garrison there and expect an annual tribute to be delivered to the duma. Other than that they can continue on as before with their trading, the slaves and spice must flow after all.

Having never before undertaken such a major naval operation, our logistics were not efficient at all. Food and water were short for much of the journey, though never too critically. This, a minor storm at sea and rotten supplies we purchased at Vatun lead to hundreds of the men being sick by the time we reach Dabar's coastline, in late summer. Now everyone's sweating during the daytime, morale's not too great.
The Dabari have pulled back all ships to their harbor, around which some defenses have been established.

What now, lords of Dvoreshka?

They will firmly resist any attempts at foreign subjugation, however, and appeared confident in their ability to defend their city.

We’ll be settling a garrison in your city, for your protection naturally.
Also, we’d like [insert barely reasonably huge amount of money] right here and now, I need something to give to my men to make up for the lack of looting after all.

If they refuse then we'll begin preparing for an assault.

Once again, the Grand Knyaz's offer is refused. As soon as our siege equipment is assembled, the order for the assault to begin is given - parts of Dabar lie outside its walls, but those are just the outer slums really, the real bounty lies behind the stone walls.

The walls are strong and are resisting our first volleys, many of the stones landing in the slum houses beyond the walls instead, forming piles of rubble that block the easier access to the walls.
The attack by sea, on the other hand, goes even worse. The defenders set up their own ballistae and catapults and strike our ships hard; Archers are deployed along the harbor and the ships they have in fighting condition are all deployed in a line that blocks our rapid advance. Casualties are heavy and the naval force is still trying to push through, a chokepoint slowly forming from the damaged and destroyed ships in these rather shallow and calm waters. Veterans of previous raids on Dabar note that the harbor has truly been reshaped to be ready to defend against attacks, which the city did not have to face in previous generations.
Nevertheless, we must not falter in our offensive!

Some of the nearest villages had had their wells poisoned, which resulted in more sick and dead - that was the bad news. The good news is that the enemy is still keeping behind their walls and hoping we'll grow weaker. We're able to ration our drinking water well enough to prevent anyone who wasn't already badly injured or sick dying of thirst - eventually, ships bringing fresh supplies from further away relieve the situation. Any reinforcements we can hope for would need many weeks to come here, but a surprising shower during a later week helped our situation as well.

First days of the year's ninth month: Our army has 150 sick men, 300 wounded and 1700 fit for combat, if we count all ship crews.

The enemy shows no sign of wishing to surrender or relent.
What are our plans for this month(and possibly the next)?

Standing atop a chest, the Grand Knyaz makes a heroic pose, pointing towards the city and yelling a mighty "Charge!" to inspire his men to move forward - some do indeed, but many are slow to march out, waiting to see what will happen. Masses of troops from the provinces start rushing towards the ships - Admiral Pelku Kartuvis and his men try to stop them, killing Rajko of Jarek's leage and some of his followers in the process, but the admiral's guard are overwhelmed by the mutineers, who begin hijacking the ships. The Grand Knyaz, trying to bring some order to this mess, is then mortally wounded with one decisive stab in the side from Knyaz Alexov, being left to bleed out as chaos erupts all-round. A portion of the Grand Knyaz's army, those bravest in their attack, are able to reach the gates and begin the fight there, but they and the brave men who opened the gate from the inside will all soon be slaughtered, the odds unfairly stacked against them. Others die in the chaos of the camp, while at the end of the day the fleet and those who did not wish to fight get away before the Shlin arrive.
This siege is a decisive defeat for Dvoreshka. The Grand Knyaz most of his personal forces and between a third and half of the provincials overall are dead or captured by the end. The Admiral lies trampled in the wreckage of his ship, burned by the mutineers, while another dozen ships were lost in operations of this war. Supplies, finances and siege equipment were lost and a blow to the morale of Dvoreshka as a whole is taken as the fleet returns home piece by piece, with no clear leader.

The Duma convenes on the following year. A new Grand Knyaz must be chosen - or at least the matter should be discussed here.

Present your candidacies for Grand Knyaz if you wish or engage in a debate on present matters. No supporting any candidates in the next 12 minutes.

I am Beloje Luksa.

Brothers! I know I am no Dumin, but I feel just as part of this nation as any of you!

I swear upon my family honor that my reign will be one of mending wounds. We will reestablish our pride, not as warmongers, but as ones who enrich our nation through trade and infrastructure. Never another Dabar!

I was there when our soldiers died in the foolish operation and our young fell to the swords of an enemy that never wished to be so. Let us turn our gaze to what truly matters: Home.

The army that went south managed to crawl back to Dvoreshka thanks to the brave actions of Alyosha and other named captains that gathered the men to safety when madness struck

I want to rebuild from this massive defeat at the hands of a senile old man whom led us to the slaughter. I seek the goal of a potential alliance with Ursir and to strike deals with the enemies of Dabar and the south.

The worship of the spirits and paganism is our culture and as such it must be placed in a central position for all of Dvoreshka. I will bring us back from this defeat. A new golden era awaits for us and there's where I shall lead us.

The construction of the Velikiy Dorogi - the great roads - will commence now, aiming to connect all cities and towns of Dvoreshka. It will take years for sure, but the Grand Knyaz has chosen to invest practically all of his current treasury reserve into this effort.

At the opening of 1157's Duma assembly, boyar Valdyr Blyaka, previously presumed dead, makes an appearance - he had stayed behind in the battle of Dabar, yet survived and over the past year and half made the arduous journey home. He shares his tale of events with the Duma, the story so far being whatever Grand Knyaz Alexov and his fellows have told.

“I am here to tell the tale of what happened upon those fateful days now passed. The assault's casualties were immense, so many wounded and dead. For some reason the Grand Knyaz refused to let us send the wounded and sick home, though they were no use on the battlefield and were only taking supplies and suffering needlessly. This paired with the news that the Shlin were close and coming to aid their allies meant we were out of time, a daring raid did open the gates of the city but that's when the cracks formed by the Grand Knyaz's choices fractured our forces. When he ordered the attack, most fled to the ships, led by Alexov whom personally stabbed the grand commander with tears in his eyes, swearing he would not allow the men to needlessly fall...then he left taking most with him including the wounded of my own people...But I had taken an oath and stayed with the few unwounded men I had and stayed...before I finally escaped and worked my way here again...home. Were it not for the actions of Alexov countless more would have perished but the question is to what does a man owe his loyalty? Blood or Crown? I have seen much on these travels of mine and I know his actions sacrificed his honour to preserve the families of this realm and keep our blood safe. But for what comes next, I leave it to you...”
The old man rests, his travels finally over and breathing the air of his homeland

In a disputed Duma debate, the Grand Knyaz's motion is pushed forward with his decision on top.

Diplomacy with Ursir it is - what do you want to do in that regard? The ruling Konungr is Boreg, grandson of Hrork, whose reign seems to hold firm. Tales speak of campaigns in the distant north to continue his subjugation of the locals of those lands. Ursir has welcomed trade with us along the Alga in the past decade as well.

The Grand Knyaz's offer of an alliance with Ursir is accepted by their Konungr. We purchase several thousand slaves from them - it seems most of the conquered Dumin and Mochorans live not as thralls, but as serfs, which is to say - not slaves.

-Mid-Sized Ranger Order
-Durvid Advisors

Faction Project: Construct Ranger Outposts throughout all of Dvoreshka's major forests

Now that they finally have the numbers for it, Ranko orders the construction of several lodges throughout the entirety of the nation for the explicit usage of Svetale's sworn bows This would finally allow them to swiftly punish those that struck out against the trees while also expanding their possible recruiting grounds south. Most of the decade would be devoted to learning the local trails and peculiarities rather than spent on construction.Their simple wooden nature made it easy for them be thrown together with the time needed to find a sufficiently hidden grove being the only true hold-up.

Faction project: Flesh out defense and redirect inland trade
Ozren will construct two forts across from each other on the northern and southern banks of the Alga each with their own shipyard, ballistae and small docks. Beyond their obvious function as watchtowers, Ozren will also set up a ferry system between the two - meant for the transportation of trading caravans between the north and the south. Bogdugrad, being the only port town on Alga’s northern shore, is already the entry point of most northbound trade from Knezdvor and Sekorek, however the ferry will hopefully redirect much of the land trade through his lands as well. Having ships solely dedicated to this ferry operation will after all greatly reduce the cost of crossing the river with hired ships for any merchants trading on these longitudes, despite the toll.

The forest interior is more sparsely settled and by guile, force or diplomacy, you secure influence across a strip of land that provides you with roads that lead to the forest's other side - though the villages around the Grozhna are currently not inclined to join you, you have opened it as a route for trade at least.

It attracts traders wishing to buy and sell with the moormen, travellers wishing to see the area and visit the wonderous mudbaths. The Cult of Lokom also provides you with a gift - five river ladyas, captured during the old war when they attempted an ill-fated assault on the delta. By force and guile, you make all the mountain clans in the area bow to you and join the tribe of Aynur. Vseskal, seat of the Earth Cult, does not become a servant of yours outright, but when they attempted to fight you with their Chosen, your mighty warriors defeated them handily, killing some and capturing many others at one of the mountain passes. Their pride as a major cult keeps them from going any lower, but the Skalnovi payed for the ransom of their order's warriors handsomely and have begun sending you tribute and allowing you to pass through their holdings undisturbed, provided you do not attack their holy site itself - though there's little they themselves can do to stop you by force should.

The armies that rise up in rebellion are collectively known as the White Swords of the Confederacy of Free Knyazdoms - their new banner being a white sword-scale on red background. In short, they are known as the White Swords.
Seveal incidents occur around this time and word of them goes around. On the southern border with Olka, a popular Theophantic preacher active in Jaroslavizh was kidnapped and publicly lynched in a border village on the Dvoreshkan side. Agitators in villages across central Dvoreshka have convinced some local boyars to join the Confederacy out of concern for their rights and the tyrannical attitude of the Grand Knyaz. Olka announces its support for the White Swords.

It is now early summer. War is on hand, each side will PM me what their actions for this season will be now, after I confirm with them they will roll for it in thread - it'll be one roll per side unless otherwise stated.

The place the southern army gathered at was the Castle of the Solnste Druzhina, if that is too far we will simply gather at the Plavinsk border?

Moreshki will use their warships and those of the Jutrodvro to take full control of the river and completely block any and all crossings for the Theophantists.

The Pagan army in the south will advance towards Marzivo, take it, and then march on to Plavinsk if there is still time.

Knyaz Moreshki gives a stirring speech once all the men have mustered
"My brothers in the spirits, my brothers in battle! The time has come to take the fight to those who wish to destroy our way of life and kill the spirits we venerate so highly! The city itself had also been reinforced after the Ursir raids, a proposal of the Knyaz of Serebrin at the time - this comes in handy as the attack from the west is also detected early. Though the attackers outnumber the defenders several times, their attempted assaults during this season do not succeed in taking the walls of the city and leave more of the Grand Knyaz's men dead than Knyaz Vukov's own.

Now on to Early Fall. The Plavinsk lands have fallen to the army led by Knyaz Moreshki, while Sekorek still lies under siege.

Knyaz Vladimir displays a brilliance in managing his resources, putting his smiths to work and having efficiently assigned shifts for the soldiers, split between watch duty, rest and training the commoner militia - which is then armed with the freshly made weapons. A fierce second assault is made against Sekorek, the forces under >>3399215 joining in when >>3399213
arrives and launches it, his mercenaries at the forefront. It is fierce fighting that leaves a sizable gap in the walls, which leads to intense fighting around the rubble and streets - fierce and bloody, yet by the skin of their teeth, the defenders of Sekorek hold the city - casualties are harsh on both sides, yet the attackers were never able to make one decisive push that overwhelms the defense. They'd take one street and encounter barricades on another, be exhausted by the night and have to pull back to camp. Sekorek, nose bloodied, still holds.
>>3399214
The Aynur, meanwhile, marched into the lands of Borege practically unopposed and began to wreck havoc among their villages, claiming horses, spices and exotic slaves for themselves.
>>3399199
Kenan's men attempt to tail Moreshki's army and harass them at every turn - that only helps for a short while, however. The Army of the South that Vingradets' Knyaz leads diverts north - it passes through Jarek's swamps, being only slowed down a bit there, but avoiding the hills. Instead, they enter the Zverasbor forest where attempts of harrasment from Kenan's men are met by resistance from the forest dwellers, empowered perhaps even by the spirits of that land, both tree and beast, which forces the Samogradians back and allows >>3399217
to march north and group up with >>3399203
in the forests east of Zverasbor itself. After their armies join, they head eastward and are just in time to cross paths with an army led by >>3399202 - the men of Blagograd, reinforced by Olkans, had just been heading north to Sekorek at the same time as this happened! Neither side was aware of the other's maneuvering thusly and a battle is at hand that neither quite expected!

The united Dvoreshkan army numbers about a thousand horse and fifty-six hundred foot. The footmen of the south are of low quality, while those of the north are of above-average. The horsemen can overall be classified as solid medium cavalry.

The White Sword army has nine hundred horsemen, a third of whom are elite heavy cavalry, including the entire Ordo Peregrinans' knighthood of Dvorebrama. They bring fourty-five hundred foot of average to above average quality.

The Dvoreshkan army has a slight advantage in morale and numbers, +5 each.

Rules: Three rolls for either side, since they both have over three players who can roll, one per person from the respective side will be taken. To each of those rolls I'll apply the net modifier of this battle (this part may be subject to change in the future, but for now it will be so).

214 for the Wolves of Dvoreshka vs 181 for the White Swords

On the left side the White infantry takes up positions that completely halt Moreshki's charge and inflict decent casualties upon his southerners, while on the White Swrods' right side their cavalry engages the enemy's and wins out slightly in the first charge and ensuing slugest, after which both returned to their lines to regroup - but in the center, the leaders of the two sides in this war have engaged with their personal forces and the Grand Knyaz is pushing hard, the front ranks of Gregor's center having buckled. The White Wolves hold an advantage

The Wolves retain a +10 lead for the next round as well. A strong blow in the center might split the White Swords in half!

146 for the Wolves, 194 for the White Swords
Clarification, the total net modifier will be applied once to the final sum.

Only a single man from Plavinsk had rallied to the call to arms of the Confederacy - that man was known as Boris "The Legend" for his unquenchable thirst and unbreakable liver, the only one who was sober enough to march out when the boyar gave the orders. The other lads had stayed behind to recover from their hangover, being then pressed into service in Moreshki's army and now sent in with the first wave of the new attack - when they saw who they were charging against, though, the attack turned into one great big bear hug, after which the Plavinskans switched sides! Though a small change in numbers on the grand scheme of things, it caused a ripple effect of confusion and slight panic, starting from the Wolves' right flank, which pressed into their center - the center where a portion of the Grand Knyaz's forces had too eagerly charged ahead before his orders hade come through. Thus, the breakthrough in the center did not occur, while on the right side with the cavalry Wotrek's men even the odds after their previous setback.

Morale shifts to favour the White Swords. The Wolves will only have a +5 bonus in the next round.

125 vs 243

Moreshki's flank breaks at last and his rout transfers to the center, where the advance is halted and it takes all of the Grand Knyaz's efforts to rally the infantry back to a firm line, aided by Kalnas Kartuvis. Wotrek's riders on their army's left go too far ahead and are hit by a strong counter-charge from the knights, suffering heavy losses that are not total only thanks to their superior speed.
The battle has shifted strongly in favor of the rebels! Numbers may have evened out even and morale and organisation are at a deficit on the Wolves' side now, for a +10 bonus to the rebels on the next turn - the day being close to its close, it will be the last roll.

143 vs 219

The Wolves are chipped away at from three sides - not outnumbered at any decisively, but never quite able to respond fast enough. Around the time the sun sets, both armies pull away tired, though with a vision of what was a rebel victory - though not too decisive in scope, the troops left on both sides that can keep on fighting on the next day would be roughly the same number whereas before the Wolves held a numerical advantage.

In the next few minutes the two sides will do some war planning in their respective camps to see what will happen. Wives at home would most likely hope for the two sides to attempt negotiation now, if they could see this battle.

While the Wolves had their breakfast, the Theophantists had their prayers - in the Lord's name, Amen and Attack!

The assault was fierce and the defenders quickly lost the will to fight - some picked up arms to hold the enemy off, but a large portion routed. The commanders of that army managed to prevent it from being a complete annihilation, but by noon those who get out are the boyars, the horsemen and the fleetest of footmen - some find shelter in the forests, led by surviving rangers, while others go north to join the army that has Sekorek encircled. This time, it is a quick and decisive victory for the White Swords that shifts the war's balance - a thousand dead, fifteen hundred captured on the Wolves's side against less than five hundred dead and wounded on the attackers'.
>>
>>3399575
The war will continue, its outcome is yet uncertain. Olka fights with Ursir and Shlin both, it has only been half a year since Knyaz Gregor left the Duma.
The continuation - and hopefully resolution - will be this Thursday most likely.

Current date - somewhere in mid autumn, 1161.
