In this quest you play as Wade Wakeman, a 16 year old boy with a heart of gold and the wielder of the Omnitrix. This story is being told in an alternate universe, in which there are no longer any remaining Tennysons. Characters from earlier seasons will appear, but not always in a way that you’d expect.

You need to get to Sector 13 fast! It’s a good thing you’re using your 3rd(or second?) fastest alien. But first, you need to drop off this data disk.

You see Pakmar and Qarma waiting right where you left them. They should be able to take it back to the ship.

[Qarma]: Back already? How efficient!

[Pakmar]: Bah! Shape-changer still owes Pakmar a new shop. Business was booming on Aggra Taj!

[Wade]: Guyffs! Kirrik’s in twouble!

[Qarma]: I’m sorry? Could you repeat that?

Whoops. You forgot about the data disk in your mouth. You cough it into your hands and give it to Pakamr, who doesn’t seem too jazzed about holding something covered in rodent slobber.

[Wade]: I said: Kilik’s in trouble! Take this to The Cicada and warm up the engines.

[Qarma]: But what about you?

[Wade]: He’s risking his neck for me, and I can’t just leave him here.

A loud siren blares over the loudspeakers, followed by a horde of armed guards rushing over to what you assume is your friend being beaten to a pulp.

[Wade]: You guys get out of here! I’ll handle the rest.

You dart off and fly along the rooftops above the busy streets, siphoning energy from nearby sources in order to stay charged. It's getting a bit chaotic down there, but you'e lucky that these guys are slowing down the guards. It'd be a bit troublesome to have to deal with them as well as the Plumbers. After bouncing from rooftop to rooftop, you arrive to see Kilik being cornered by the Plumbers in black suits. It seems they haven’t noticed you yet. How do you wanna go about this?

>Absorb as much energy as you can and send a massive lightning bolt onto those Plumber’s heads.
>Rap them up in a metal cable and magnetize it.
>Grab the tiny bits of metal floating around the air and use them to create an energy construct.
>Zip back and forth between them, delivering energized punches and kicks to your opponents in rapid succession.
>Switch aliens.(Which one?)

You spot a thick metal cable wrapped along the side of an abandoned building, and an idea pops into your head. You haven't messed with Zipmunk's magnetic abilities too often, but now would be a good time to test them out.

You use the heat from your electric attacks to melt the metal bolts restraining the cable, and tear it from the side of the building. While they hover over your fallen comrade, you take this opportunity to wrap the cable around them and subdue them.

[Servantis]: What is this?

The red guy with the enlarged head struggles with all his might to free himself from your tightly wound cable.

[Swift]: It appears to be a rodent, sir. A Raskadarian specifically.

[Servantis]: The question was rhetorical, Lieutenant Swift.

Servantis's words are dripping with venom as he chastises his subordinate. You notice that the guy in the metal suit is heating up his suit in an attempt to melt the cable. If he gets that thing too hot, it'll lose its magnetic properties! Gotta do this quick.

[Wade]: I wouldn't do that if I were you. Not unless you want to burn your buddies.

You magnetize the cable with a quick jolt of electricity and give them a little push towards the street. Various types of metals come flying towards them, from trash cans to car doors and tin cans, they quickly become smothered in the debris and scrap metal.

>Take this opportunity to escape with Kilik. They've likely got backup coming soon.
>Try to steal their Plumber's badges. Maybe you can find out who they've been taking orders from.
>Fuse together the metal on top of them in order to trap them there for the local guards to arrest.
>"I'm gonna be honest. I expected more from the most dangerous Plumbers in the galaxy."
>"Something tells me that you guys aren't here to arrest us."
>"Mind telling me who your boss is? I'd love to meet them sometime."

You weld the metal together with your concentrated burst of energy, and hold the rest together with static cling in order to avoid harming them.

[Wade]: That ought to hold them. We need of get out of here before backup arrives.

Kilik remains motionless on the ground. Is he unconscious? Oh god, you hope you weren't too late.

[Wade]: Kilik? Come on buddy, get up!

You grab his arm and sling it over your shoulder, trying to pull him up with your weakened muscles. He's a lot heavier than he looks. Maybe you should check his pulse? How do you check the heartbeat of a bug?

You place your hand on his neck, trying to feel a pulse through his thick carapace. When suddenly, you feel a metal device get clamped onto your neck.

[Wade]: Huh?! How did...?

You look up to see Kilik rise from the ground, having no difficulty in doing so. He looks...sad?

[Kilik]: I'm sorry.

He presses a button on his wrist, and a pale, green gas sprays into your face. Your body starts to feel heavy, and you can't even think straight.

[Wade]: Wha...Kilik? W-what's going on?

You try to escape from the collar, but something's preventing you from freely manipulating your molecules. The device must be suppressing your powers somehow.

A large black ship descends from the sky, deploying troops with armor similar to the High Magistrata's personal guard. They cordon off the area and drive off the oncoming guards, while another team starts cutting the subdued Plumber from the magnetic trap. The last thing you see is Kilik raising his pistol towards you and firing. You feel all of your nerves firing off at once, causing you to seize up and pass out.

---------------------------------------

When you awaken, you see Kilik, the Rooters and several guards staring at you.

[Servantis]: Ah, he's awake.

The red guy with the enlarged head smiles smugly at your subdued form. You're being held by your arms in some sort of suspended stasis tube, with the collar still tightly attached to your neck.

[Swift]: Should we not have cut his mask off, sir?

The red girl with bat wings stands attentively as she formally addresses her leader.

[Servantis]: And what good would that do? We can discover his identity once he has been eliminated. What say you, Kilik? He's your partner, after all.

Kilik looks to you and clicks his mandibles loudly.

[Kilik]: A threat is a threat. He must be neutralized for the good of the galaxy.

[???]: That's right, Agent. You've learned well.

A tiny creature on a floating platform enters the room while being escorted by several armed guards.

...It's Zennith.

Fuck, just remembered we could have sent a message through trixy to literally everyone that Zennith is a traitor.

[Wade]: You've got the quite the poker face, Ms. Councilwoman. Although I don't quite think you've got your priorities straight. 'm the guy that's trying to help you take care of our friendly neighborhood warlord.

[Zennith]: From what I've observed, you are a much bigger threat to the galaxy. In that wretched device, you possess the dormant DNA of Gods and Monsters so powerful, you could end all life as we know it with a mere thought.

[Wade]: How do you know what's in the Omnitrix? Not even I know how many aliens are in this thing.

[Zennith]: Because, Azmuth was my husband.

You raise an eyebrow to Zennith's shocking statement.

[Wade]: Azmuth was married?!

[Zennith]: "Was". I left him when he proved to be a madman capable of untold destruction. In his hubris, he created a sword capable of cutting through reality itself. Can you even fathom why someone would wish to create such a thing?

[Wade]: Not really.

Oh man, she's really getting into this whole tragic backstory thing.

[Zennith]: I left him, hoping that my departure would snap some sense into him. But I don't even believe he noticed that I had gone. I was heartbroken, mourning the man I once loved from afar. Until...I learned he had created another weapon. I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

[Wade]: I get it. You think I'm gonna turn out to be a monster or something. What I don't understand, is why you went through all this trouble to kill me, when you could've done it ages ago.

[Servantis]: Because you still had your uses. You helped us root out and eliminate the loose ends that could have exposed our operation. The operatives on Zebhest, the merchants of Aggra Taj, and lastly, the evidence of our Arachnachimp associate transporting the Taydens across the galaxy. We will have o deal with him later. Fine work for a rookie. Wouldn't you say so, Kilik?

[Kilik]: Indeed. He would have made a fine Rooter.

Oh god, did they get Pakmar and Qarma already? You hope they managed to escape before they reached the roadblock.

[Wade]: Hey Trixy, call for help.

You whisper a command to your companion, and it makes you really glad that you're wearing a mask. They don't seem to notice either.

[Wade]: If you were really smart, you would've waited until after I beat up D'Traxus to spring your trap.

You create extend a sharp blade made of mana, and use it the slice through your restraints. You fall to the floor and struggle to regain your balance. You don't have a lot of strength in your legs from being suspended in the air for so long. The Rooters take combat ready stances, and you notice that none of them are carrying guns. Are they that confident?

[Wade]: Also, I'm disappointed in your judgement of my character. Just because I have a dangerous tool, doesn't mean I'm gonna end all life as we know it. I mean...I probably could be a huge threat if I was a terrible person. But for you to assume that...that kinda hurts, not gonna lie.

You also notice that every gun in the room is trained on you. Those guards were so quiet that you forgot about them. Zennith raises a hand and calls them off.

[Zennith]: It's fine. Leave us.

They comply without argument and march into the room next to this one.

[Wade]: Awful confident aren't we?

[Zennith]: Not at all. I have full faith in the abilities of my subordinates. Kilik here has fitted you with an explosive collar that will detonate if your heart rate elevates to a certain level. If you try to resist, your grey matter will stain the walls of this room.

Shit! You're running out of moves here. Can you somehow stall them long enough for help to arrive?

[Zennith]: Detain him and remove the Omnitrix.

Guess not.

Suddenly, a loud crash is heard in the other room.

[Zennith]: What on Galvan Prime?

Kilik presses another button on his wrist, removing the collar from your neck and causing the ship to rock from a violent explosion somewhere outside the ship.

Here's your chance!

[Wade]: Never doubted you for a second, partner!

You open up your Omnitrix and select Diamondhead, before slamming your hand down on the watch's core. In a bright purple flash, a thick layer of minerals covers your skin, and your eyes are glazed over by a dense amber-like material. The mass of crystals builds over the first layer, and continues to due so until you've grown to be 7 feet tall.

You've become [purple]Diamondhead[/purple]!

Uh-oh. Looks like the Rooters are gearing up to fight back. Swift is preparing to take flight, Servantis is opening up his face-plate, and Leander is preparing to fire something from his face.

You dash towards Leander, grab his face and push him into a wall before growing your crystals over his face. He struggles to remove them, but you hope he can hold his breath long enough for you to close out this fight.

Swift tries to get behind you, but you fire a stream of crystals at her and Servantis, pelting their skin and pushing them back. You look over to check on Kilik, only to find that he's keeping Zennith distracted with his bug swarm. Her hovering platform transformed into some sort of mini tank. As she flails about wildly and swats at the bugs, she fires a shell that narrowly misses Kilik. It packs enough of a punch to completely demolish the computer console that it hit. You and Kilik are incredibly surprised by how powerful those things are.

[Wade]: I can probably take one or two of those. But you...?

[Kilik]: On your right.

You turn to see Swift flanking you from the side and firing energy beams from her eyes and tail. You jump to the side in order to avoid it, but her tracking is unusually accurate. On another note, the noises coming from the other room are growing louder and louder. What's going on over there?

>Refract her energy beam and use it to hit someone. (Swift, Servantis, Zennith)

You form your hands into razor sharp blades and use them to block the oncoming energy beam. If what you know about physics is accurate, you should be able to refract the light through your crystalline body and redirect it. The force from the beam is a bit surprising at first, pushing you back a couple feet, nearly forcing you to the ground. You create a crystal pillar behind yourself in order to remain stable, and refract the beam of light toward an unsuspecting Servantis, sending him flying across the room. Swift looks immediately apologetic, but mostly furious at what you’ve made her do.

[Swift]: No!

She charges at you with reckless abandon, only to be shot down by three consecutive shots from Kilik’s plasma pistol. Swift loses her balance and flies directly into a recovering Leander instead.

[Kilik]: Excellent work.

[Wade]: Right back at ya.

You give your partner a thumbs up and a cocky grin.

[Zennith]: You think that you’ve won?! I have a militia waiting just outside this room, specially trained to eliminate you. Behold!

Zennith presses a button on her hovering vehicle, causing the door behind her to open. One of those guards from before comes flying through the open doorway, beaten within an inch of his life. Zennith looks at her elite guard in horror, wondering what could have done this to her small army.

[Olumar]: Oops! It appears that I’ve broken your toys. They were much more fragile than I anticipated. Do you have anymore?

Olumar’s giant eyeball peeks through the doorway, causing Zennith to scream out in terror from seeing the big blue giant. You walk over to her and just pick her up while she isn't looking.

[Zennith]: Grah! Unhand me!

[Wade]: Oh sure. I'll let you go when the real cops get here.

Kilik gives you an odd look after you make that statement.

[Wade]: I mean...the "other" real cops. Y'know, backup?

[Olumar]: Oh? Is that my master in there I see?! You were right about one thing. This is certainly much more enjoyable than counting grains of sand in the treasure room!

Olumar recedes back into her lamp, while Pakmar and Qarma enter the room behind her. It appears that they brought the lamp with them in an attempt to help out.

[Pakmar]: Yeesh. It was getting cramped in there.

[Qarma]: You should be grateful that you were spared from the Djinn’s wrath. They are not as tolerant as we mortals are.

Kilik kneels down to meet your other two companions at eye level.

[Kilik]: Good work, you two. I will see to it that you are relocated to a safer location.

[Wade]: Glad to see that you're alright.

[Qarma]: Likewise, my friend. Even Pakmar was worried for your well-being.

[Pakmar]: Pakmar was not worried! Pakmar simply wanted big clumsy Plumber to defend Pakmar from other big clumsy Plumbers.

You shrug off Pakmar's tough guy act, just this once. You're in a pretty good mood right now.

You use your remaining time as Diamondhead to subdue the guards and Rooters that are passed out. Those crystal cuffs should hold them until backup arrives. Kilik assists you by using the handcuffs he had on hand.

[Wade]: Did you plan for all of this to happen?

[Kilik]: Not all of it. I had not accounted for you to befriend a giant in a bottle. Zennith recruited me to be a Rooter, because she thought of me as the ruthless type. Unfortunately for her, my loyalty the High Magistrata prevented me from falling prey to her lies. I've been waiting for this moment for 7 years. It took a while for The Rooters to trust me completely. I didn't mean to involve you in this operation, but I had no choice but to agree in front of the council. I apologize for everything I've done.

[Wade]: It's no big deal. At least the bad guys got put away.

[Kilik]: Yes. They did indeed. This operation's success is due to, in no small part, your quick thinking and physical prowess. Thank you.

[Wade]: Hey, what are partners for?

After your short exchange with Kilik, you scan the Rooters with the Omnitrix.

[Wade]: What do we got, Trixy?

[Trixy]: DNA samples acquired: Cerebrocrustacean, Aerophibian, Prypiatosian-B. Scans show genetic manipulation. These people were human once.

[Wade]: So they mutated themselves?

[Trixy]: It would appear so. They share the strengths and weaknesses of both races. What is even more curious is the DNA sample acquired from the being known as "Leander". This species is not found in the Milky Way. It is native to the Andromeda galaxy.

[Wade]: This guy went to another galaxy for a makeover? Must've been a pretty picky guy. Trixy, what can you tell me about their brain chemistry?

[Trixy]: Scans show that their brain chemistry has been slightly altered upon mutating. Swift's predatory instincts were heightened, while her eyesight greatly suffered. Leander's brain activity is difficult to register due to the interference from his radioactive body. Servantis's mental facilities were greatly heightened by the change, giving him an enhanced intellect and the ability to manipulate electricity. I will record my findings for further research.

[Wade]: Thanks Trix. You're a lifesaver.

[Trixy]: May I ask, why do you require this information?

[Wade]: It might help Wendy. You told me that her brain chemistry's being altered by her transformations. If we learn more about this type of stuff, we might be able to help her get better. She might not be as bad as everyone thinks.

[Trixy]: I am impressed by your insight and initiative. I shall contact you with my findings at a later date.

[Wade]: Please do.

After timing out, you bring the prisoners to the large room where Olumar fought. From the looks of these dents and crushed objects, she really cut loose in here.

Shortly afterward, Koba arrived with his squad to arrest Zennith and the rest. Hey! The chicken and the sponge are here too.

[Koba]: Well well well. Looks like we finally caught the rat. Didn't think it'd be Zennith of all people, though.

[Zennith]: You all underestimate me because of my size, but I am far more dangerous than anyone in this room! Mark my words, I will-!

Tripp stuffs a rag in Zennith's mouth before she can finish her evil tirade.

[Tripp]: Aw, put a sock in it short stuff!

She picks the Galvan up by her dress and hands her to some wolf girl with an eyepatch. She kinda looks like the werewolf that you fought in Louisiana a while back.

[Kayn]: You've been a bad council-woman. Off to the pound with you, little lady.

[Koba]: Dribble, make sure Zennith actually gets to her containment cell safely.

[Dribble]: Ugh, fine. I just know she's gonna bite another chunk out of me like last time!

The big green sponge alien follows the dog girl onto their ship.

[Koba]: The rest of you, load these prisoners onto the ship. We have a council meeting to make.

[Tripp]: Sure thing, boss.

A giant yellow lizard with hair covering his eyes just nods in silence.

[Koba]: That includes you two.

You and Kilik help load the prisoners aboard their ship, and leave with them to meet with the council once more.

----------------------------------

After placing everyone in custody, you arrive back at the throne room for the council's follow-up hearing. You don't feel as nervous as you did last time, though.

[Novak]: Magister Koba. I hear that you had a very interesting report for us?

[Koba]: Not me, your honor. This one's on the bug.

He points to Kilik, who maintains his attentive posture even after being singled out.

[Mizaru]: Oh really? I would very much like to hear this.

Mizaru's big toothy grin is as unsettling as ever.

[Magistrata]: Special Agent Kilik, you may deliver your report.

[Kilik]: Certainly madam.

Kilik proceeds to recount your adventure with excruciating detail. He's either got a really good memory, or he's been practicing this for some time now. The faces of the councilmen are shifting from that of skepticism, to amazement and ending in troubled frowns.

[Novak]: I must say, that story is an interesting one to say the least. Who would have thought that one of our own could betray us all without anyone noticing.

[Moshae]: And you say that you kept this a secret from everyone? Why would that be? Were you considering an allegiance with Council-woman Zennith?

All eyes are on Kilik again, but he is now being viewed in a critical light.

>"Oh, give him a break! This guy just spent the last 7 years trying to save you guys."

You can't stand for your friend being slandered and questioned like this any longer. But you're reminded that you are in a formal meeting. So you have to express your outrage in a formal and eloquent manner.

[Wade]: I can vouch for Kilik, and so can Koba. If he wanted to betray you, he wouldn't be here telling you about it.

[Koba]: The kid's right. Kilik's report checks out. And the fact that the Rooters were even there, and not in a Super-max prison, should be evidence enough to warrant a court hearing.

The council members murmur and whisper to one another before speaking aloud to you.

[Novak]: Very well. We have no reason to believe the wielder of the Omnitrix, but your word carries weight among us, Magister. We will look into the matter of Zennith's betrayal.

You and Koba silently nod to one another, confirming your victory.

[Novak]: And as for you...

The council now turns their attention to you.

[Novak]: We wish to hear your report on the wielder of the Omnitrix, Special Agent Kilik.

[Kilik]: Certainly.

Kilik steps onto a hovering platform that brings him closer to the councilmen.

[Kilik]: The individual known as "X" has proven himself to be an excellent combatant and strategist. His behavior and conduct hinted at a decent upbringing, and he had no problem with authority figures. He has good intuition, an incredible aptitude for learning, and much more room to grow in the future. I believe that he will be very easy to work with, as I had no problems with insubordination during our mission.

Wow. That was pretty flattering. He even cut out the negative stuff from earlier.

[Novak]: I see. What is your opinion on the boy, High Magistrata.

[Magistrata]: From what I've gleamed, I think he can be trusted. If we receive evidence suggesting otherwise, then he is to be detained or eliminated for the good of the galaxy.

The councilmen firmly nod to each other, even though they don't seem too happy about the High Magistrata's opinion.

[Novak]: Then it is decided. "X" shall have the full support of the Plumbers and the authority to act as a Deputized Agent on our behalf. This grants him authority over lower ranking Plumbers in his sector, and the authority to arrest individuals that he deems as criminals. This also allows him to operate independently of other Plumbers, but he is still required to report to Magisters and those holding a higher rank than him. Any misdemeanors or misconduct will be reported to us and your status as an agent can be revoked if you are deemed unfit for the position. Are we clear?

[Wade]: Crystal.

[Novak]: Very well. This meeting is adjourned. Magister Koba, you will be expected to receive Special Agent Kilik's debrief and report your findings.

[Koba]: Yes sir.

You, Kilik and Koba are escorted out of the throne room, and you feel like you can finally breathe again.

>You are now a Deputized Agent!

[Koba]: Nice work in there, boys. Especially you, Kilik. You handled those stiffs like a Vet. I think a promotion might be in order.

[Kilik]: It was nothing, sir. I am, however, concerned about the unneeded attention that this case will bring.

[Koba]: I hear ya. You're gonna be getting recruitment requests for years to come. But, it looks like you worked pretty well with your partner here.

[Kilik]: X was a special case. Should he need my services again, I would be more than willing to assist him.

Kilik turns to you and bows his head.

[Kilik]: It was an honor working with you.

>"Same here. Good luck out there, man."
>"Yeah, that was pretty fun. Call me if you ever need anything."
>"Hey, no need to be so formal. I'm pretty sure you still outrank me."

You return his bow by lowering your head.

[Wade]: Yeah, that was pretty fun. Call me if you ever need anything.

[Kilik]: Of course. You will be using your Plumber's badge more often now that you're deputized.

Kilik fiddles with your badge and tosses it back to you.

[Kilik]: Try not to let the councilmen manipulate you. It is their specialty.

Kilik bows to Koba and departs towards the hangar bay.

[Koba]: I think he likes you.

>You received Kilik's contact info.

[Koba]: Now, I'm betting you wanna go back home after all that nonsense.

[Wade]: Actually, I was hoping to get your help with another problem I had.

[Koba]: Haven't I done you enough favors?

[Wade]: I think you're gonna want to be a part of this one. It's about the woman who made me.

Koba looks a little lost for a second, but his eyes go wide all of a sudden when he realizes who you're referring to. He drags you to a secluded area of the base and makes sure that there isn't anyone listening.

[Koba]: Listen kid, don't go around talking about her like it's no big deal. If anyone finds out that you're in contact with the woman that made D'Traxus, then we're both in deep shit. And it'll be even worse if they figure out that you're another one of her experiments.

He pauses and takes a deep breath.

[Koba]: I'm sorry. That was uncalled for. What do you need?

You've never seen Koba act apologetic before.

[Wade]: I want your help with finding her. She told me that she could mutate me in order to give me an edge against D'Traxus.

[Koba]: And you think that'd be a good idea? Letting her strap you to a cold metal table and put you under the knife?

[Wade]: I know how crazy it sounds-

[Koba]: Do you? We're not dealing with a rational person here. She doesn't have your best interests in mind.

[Wade]: She's crazy, but she's a manageable kind of crazy. She just sees this entire war as a big marketing campaign for the monster she created. She's getting off on this.

[Koba]: Exactly. She's a sick freak.

[Wade]: A sick freak that can still be of use. This can help you out too. If she seems bonkers like everyone says, we can just slap the cuffs on her and be done with it.

[Koba]: No, we can't just "Be done with it". There's gonna be questions, a full investigation into our investigation. We're not busting some kid for stealing Tiffin bars from the Tiffin jar. We're dealing with one of the worst war criminals in Galactic history! Are you prepared to deal with that?

Koba gets much closer and presses his finger into your chest.

[Wade]: Uh...sure?

[Koba]: ...Fine.

[Wade]: Really? Just like that?

[Koba]: Yup. Wouldn't be the first time I risked my career for you. If you think you're doing the right thing, then I'll lend a hand. It's the least I could do, for your Grandpa I mean.

That statement raises some questions, but you can always ask more about it later.

[Koba]: I'll see what i can dig up on the loon. You just stay out of trouble until I call you back here.

[Wade]: Got it! Thanks again.

[Koba]: Don't mention it. To anyone.

You leave the empty interrogation room and look around for someone that might need your help. You're an honorary Plumber now, so there must be something that you can do around here.

You approach the secretary, who's appears to have demonic features. Her skin is brownish red, and she has two horns protruding from her scalp. But her most notable feature is her single, large eye in the center of her face. She nearly drops the boxes, but you manage to catch them with your mana telekinesis. They aren't terribly heavy, so you don't have to strain yourself too much.

[Wade]: Need some help?

The demon girl is at a loss for words upon witnessing your magic trick.

[Sabrina]: I-I-I...yes please.

[Wade]: Ok. Where do you need it?

She points to a door down the hall, without breaking eye contact.

[Wade]: Cool.

You walk down the hall with her following closely behind. She seems very curious about the Omnitrix and you magic abilities. But she doesn't say a single word to you during the brief walk. When you arrive at her destination, you stack the boxes on a nearby desk, surprising everyone nearby.

[Wade]: There you go. Try not to take on more than you can handle. You might pull something.

You walk back down the hall while whistling an upbeat tune. You swear you could here the quiet girl mutter a "Thank you" as you walk away, but you didn't want to ask her to make sure. That'd probably give her tons of anxiety.

You ask Trixy to turn off the light that appears when you scan aliens, so you can do it in secret. So far, it seems to be working since no one's confronted you about it. You're pretty sure that you heard someone talking about a combat training session being held a few floors down. Trixy helped you learn how to read the language being used on the elevator buttons, and some friendly Plumbers helped you find out where the Gymnasium was.

It's pretty similar to the gym you had at your school, but it's definitely much bigger. The bleachers are filled to the brim with spectators, but there aren't too many people participating in the training session. You wonder why there's so many people here for something so trivial. Is there a celebrity here or something?

>Watch the training session from afar. You'll be able to learn a fair amount by watching other people fight. And you won't embarrass yourself in the process.

It’d probably be best to avoid drawing any attention to yourself in such a big crowd. Especially when you’re the new guy. You find an open seat next to the dog girl from Koba’s squad. She notices your presence even without having to look at you.

[Kayn]: I hear that there will be a court hearing for Zennith in a week’s time. You did good work out there, for a rookie I mean.

It’s a bit hard to hear her through her muzzle, but you’re more puzzled as to why she has it on in the first place.

[Wade]: Uh, thanks? Do you know what’s going on here?

[Kayn]: The decorated and highly praised Magister Hulka has taken it upon himself to give a public demonstration of his student’s combat training. It’s supposed to motivate us to “apply ourselves during our training”.

[Wade]: I think I’ve heard of that guy. He teaches at the Plumber’s academy, right?

[Kayn]: He doesn’t teach. He drills military discipline into thick-headed and thin-skinned recruits. But, you can’t deny the results. Look over there.

She points over to a group of Plumbers wearing bright red armor. They’re practically overflowing in confidence.

[Kayn]: That’s Alpha Squadron, Magister Hulka’s star pupils. They’re the most promising recruits to have joined our ranks in over 50 years. Aside from you of course.

She shoots you a sly grin and returns her gaze back to the stage.

[Hulka]: Alright, you maggots! I hope you’re ready to show us what you're made of.

The guy with light green skin silently nods and takes a combat ready stance. A much larger and muscular opponent with the appearance of an elephant enters the ring to face him.

>"You're not gonna go down there and fight?"
>"It sounds like you don't really care much for the guy. Why'd you show up?"
>"If these guys are so good, then why are they still in training? Shouldn't they have graduated already or something?"

[Wade]: It sound like you don't really care much for the guy. Why'd you show up?

Kayn laughs in a slightly creepy and muffled manner.

[Kayn]: Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but respect for Magister Hulka. I just think his methods are quite extreme.

Suddenly, the large yellow lizard from before appears right next to Kayn while making strange growling noises. Was he camouflaging himself?

[Kayn]: That's different, Neffie. The punishment I deal to criminals is well deserved. An eye for an eye. But Hulka, he hurts innocents that do not have the strength or authority to fight back. That, I cannot forgive.

Kayn has a surprisingly strong sense of justice.

[Kayn]: And to answer your question from earlier, I'm only here to help Neffie to get over his fear of blood.

Neffie seems embarrassed to have his secret exposed, as he hides his face with his long golden hair.

[Kayn]: Oh don't be such a baby. You won't be able to see anything like that.

[Wade]: You think they'd let me use my Omnitrix if I went down there?

[Kayn]: Possibly. But then again, you wouldn't learn much from beating up enemies that are weaker than you are. There's no challenge in that. You have to ask yourself: Do I want to show off, or do I want to improve by challenging myself?

She has a point. The whole point of this lesson is to learn how to defeat enemies that are bigger and stronger than you are. That elephant guy hasn't been able to touch the red guy from Alpha Squad. He's been redirecting the energy from his opponents blows and using it against him. It seems like he was toying with his opponent the entire fight, drawing it out in order to allow Magister Hulka to provide detailed commentary. Kayn looks like she stopped having fun ages ago, and Neffie seems lie he's started to get over his fear of blood. This honestly wasn't as gory as you thought it would be.

The lesson wraps up after about 45 minutes, and you really felt like you learned a lot from it.

>Your Moxie has ranked up to 2!

[Kayn]: Well that was a waste of time. What did you think, Neffie?

Neffie makes a hand gesture that tells you that he thought it was "so-so".

[Kayn]: You too, huh? Why don't we go watch some scary movies to make up for it? See you later, X.

Kayn drags a reluctant Neffie along with her, and you make your way down to the armory while everyone clamors over Hulka and his squad.

The armory is brightly lit with white translucent cubes that hover near the ceiling. They've got all sorts of weapons here! And you don't even have to pay for them. But you do need a clearance code for the heavier weapons that they keep in the back.

[Vendor]: Hey there, rookie. See something you like?

How does everyone know that you're a rookie?

We should use gray matter and upgrade to enhance our suit, making it more resistant, giving it some modifications like a batman belt (but less op), some armour or an energy shield, repulsors to jump longer and reduce fall damage... At level 1 it could be pretty weak and unefficient, needing repairs after every mission. Also, as a way to balance it, every new upgrade would require rarer and more expensive materials, special tech and machinery to craft the mods and higher intelligenge and tech knowledge in our "base form".
>>
You give your Arc Gauntlet to Ven'dor and commission him to install Brass Knuckles, increase the interior padding and insulation. You also expressed interest in the wrist mounted energy shield and asked if you can get an additional gauntlet made match the other. Ven'dor explained that he would only be able to implement one function for each gauntlet, which was fine to you. He tells you to come pick up your order in a few hours, to which you agree to.

You register your Plumber's badge to receive a notification when your order is ready, and head on down to the holding cells.

Out of every room and facility you've been to, this one has got to be the largest. A massive spire comprised of holding cells reaches up the ceiling, almost being as tall as a skyscraper. There even seems to be a list of the prisoners names here. Some of which you recognize.

You look around for Coyote's name on the list, but can't seem to find him anywhere. You notice a tall man with pink, wrinkled skin guarding one of the cell blocks. Maybe he might know where he is.

[Wade]: Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to know where the guy who calls himself "Coyote" is would you?

[Guard]: Oh that guy? Yeah, he was a real handful. He'd scream into the night for hours on end. We could never figure out why though. He used to carve these weird symbols into the wall of his cell. Guy was a major headcase. Too bad about what happened to him, though.

Your heart sinks at the thought of something terrible happening to the poor guy.

[Wade]: You don't mean...

[Guard]: No, nothing that grim. He just...up and disappeared while we weren't looking. He somehow broke out without tripping any of out alarms or security systems. It would've gone down as the most impressive breakout in Super-max history, but we decided to keep it quiet. Don't wanna give the other prisoners any ideas.

[Wade]: Can I...see the carvings in his room?

[Guard]: Hh. Suit yourself.

He brings you into an elevator and shows you to Coyote's room. This place is a mess! His sheets and mattress are torn to shreds, and there's blood and claw marks littering the floor.

[Guard]: Before you ask, he did it all himself. Even the blood is due to self-injury. We tried to stop him, but it's pretty hard to when the guy can teleport a straight jacket off of himself.

You walk over to inspect the wall covered in carvings. It looks like a...map of some sort. A really bizarre one with specific scheduled times, but a map nonetheless.

[Wade]: Hey Trixy, do you mind scanning and examining this thing?

[Trixy]: Of course. I will make this my number one priority.

Trixy scans the map and goes silent as she tries to decipher it. Where ever Coyote is, you hope he's ok.

[Wade]: Hey, can you show me to where Animo is?

[Guard]: Ugh, fine. But I'm returning to my post after this.

He escorts you a few floors higher and shows you where the good doctor is. You spot him in the corner of his cell taking apart stuffed animals and stitching their limbs onto other ones. When he notices you, he drops what he's doing and rushes over to glare at you from behind the safety glass.

[Animo]: Wade Wakeman! My old nemesis, back to gloat I presume!

[Wade]: Why are you even a bad guy? Like, what's your motivation?

This gives Animo reason to pause and quell his anger, clearly puzzled by your question.

[Animo]: Why...would you wish to know. Are you plotting to humiliate me somehow?

[Wade]: Relax, I'm not here to start any trouble. I actually wanted to know more about you and your research on DNA.

[Animo]: Well, I suppose there wouldn't be any harm in indulging you for a short while.

You invite him to sit on the floor with you and he does so hesitantly.

[Animo]: Now...where to begin. My name is Aloysius James Animo, and I specialized in veterinary science. I had built my mutation device to push the boundaries of animal physiology and their genetic potential, but my colleagues and superiors were too feeble minded to know true genius when they saw it! They labeled my research as "cruel and unusual experiments on innocent creatures". They cut my funding, discredited me and disqualified me from ever receiving the Verities award! Instead, they gave it to another scientist by the name of Kelly. I was furious! So I plotted my revenge against him, hoping to eliminate him before he stole the glory that rightfully belonged to me. But first, I needed to recruit an army of animals for my plan. And that's about the time when I ran into you at the Animal Sanctuary.

He pauses for a long time, but you don't think it's for dramatic effect.

[Wade]: Wait, that's it?! That's your tragic backstory?!

[Animo]: I never said it was a painfully long story. I have suffered many an injustice in my field, and that has not changed one single bit. A man of my talents should not be cooped up in a facility for lunatics.

This guy's a real piece of work...

>"If all you want is recognition, then I think I can help you with that. You don't have to be evil to be famous."
>"Don't you think you, I don't know, overreacted a bit?"
>"So Kelly ended up winning the award, huh? Why'd you stay evil? Was it because a whale beat you up?"
>"Doc, don't take this the wrong way, but you need some serious help. I think you could really do some good with that big exposed brain of yours."
>"Not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed..."
>"Have you tried talking to Kelly about the problems you have with him? Maybe he's not such a bad guy."

[Wade]: Not saying you aren't smart or anything, considering the animals you mutated proves you know your stuff about genetics, but you could have looked for a different sponsor or maybe gone with crowd funding for your research. That's pretty big these days. The thing is, I think you can do a lot of good with your knowledge. There's lots of other ways to show someone up without getting violent. If you wanna prove that you deserved that award, then let me help you. We can work towards making something that'll help the world instead of enslave it.

Animo is taken aback by your positive approach. He seems to be carefully considering your words.

[Animo]: I...never realized how many options I had. I had always assumed that my career was over the moment they discredited me. I couldn't get a job anywhere else in my field. It felt like the world was against me...

[Wade]: Dude, you're in space. Earth isn't the only place you can live. I think you can get a job anywhere in the galaxy if you tried hard enough.

[Animo]: So...you just want me to start over? As if nothing had ever happened?

[Wade]: Yeah. We all deserve a second chance. It's why you're in prison in the first place.

Animo looks more confused and unsure than you've ever seen him. This is all uncharted territory for him.

[Animo]: Then, what should I do now?

[Wade]: Do your time and contact me when you get out. I'll try to get your sentence shortened if possible. You might even get out on "good behavior.

[Animo]: I would really appreciate it, Mr. Wakeman-

[Wade]: And please keep my secret identity a secret. It would do me a huge favor. But most importantly, I want you to thinl of what you can do to help people, instead of hurting them.

Animo looks to the floor, light reflecting off of his red goggles as he mulls things over.

[Animo]: You're right. I have a lot of thinking to do. Thank you...

[Wade]: No problem. Take care of yourself, doc.

Animo retreats back into his corner and you leave the holding facility to visit the research lab. Using your Plumber's badge, you were given access to the lab's database. Just by placing Trixy near their computers, she was able to download the information that you needed.

[Wade]: What're you looking for?

[Trixy]: I'm downloading data on each alien that you possess. By compiling the information and cross-referencing it with my own, I can predict how their conflicting genetic structures have been affecting Wendy. There is but one issue.

[Wade]: What is it?

[Trixy]: We do not know which samples she used before or after we encountered her. In order to cure her, we must retrieve the Amalgamatrix's Transformation Log. That is, assuming if it is similar in structure to the Omnitrix.

[Wade]: So it's basically a black box that records transformation records.

[Trixy]: Correct. If we were to obtain it, we would know the exact amount of damage that was done to her brain. And that will make treating her condition much easier. If we do not obtain it, we risk permanently scarring her mentally, or even physically disabling her.

[Wade]: So we remove the glove and bring her back to Plumber HQ. Sounds easy enough.

[Trixy]: That is, if we are able to construct a device that can repair her damaged brain and genetic structure. And let us not forget that the Amalgamatrix will most likely be next to impossible to remove.

[Wade]: We'll figure something out. For now, let's try to find out more on that map we found in Coyote's room.

[Trixy]: Certainly.

Trixy quickly searches through every known language recorded on the Omnitrix and the Plumber database.

[Trixy]: The language that was used on the carvings are ancient. Possibly even predating the First Thinker himself. They belong to an extinct race of creatures with canine-like features known as the Afzelii. Or at least they were thought to have existed hundreds of years ago. Very little evidence of their culture exits today, as they were thought to be gods that another prehistoric race worshiped. These glyphs suggest that they possessed the ability to transport objects across the galaxy in an instant. This included their own planet. They could not be conquered or subjugated by other races, due to their powerful abilities.

[Wade]: How'd they go extinct if they were so powerful?

[Trixy]: Legends say that they became engrossed in a long, grueling civil war. Their leaders were so divided upon where they would bring their planet, that they ended up destroying the planet and sending it in different directions across the galaxy.

[Wade]: Damn. Wouldn't that have killed them?

[Trixy]: Presumably. But we may be in possession of evidence that would suggest otherwise.

[Wade]: Do you think Coyote is one of these guys? He fits the bill.

[Trixy]: It is possible. There are no other alien species in my database that can replicate his abilities. However, I am curious as to why one of these creatures came to Earth, and why they procreated with a human female.

[Wade]: Yeah that is a bit of a head-scratcher.

As you try to piece together Coyote's bizarre family tree, a strange thought pops into your head.

[Wade]: Hey Trixy. Do you remember what Verdona said about Azmuth? How he was jumping around all over the galaxy?

[Trixy]: I do not.

[Wade]: What?

[Trixy]: There are no conversations logged in my records that match that description. Perhaps you dreamed of having this conversation?

[Wade]: No, I definitely remember...Oh right!

You completely forgot that Trixy can't hear your mental conversations with Verdona. She's a bit out of the loop.

[Wade]: Yeah, sorry about that. Me and Verdona have conversations together when I meditate. I forgot that you can't come along for the ride.

[Trixy]: I was not made aware of this information. Do remember to keep me updated on such crucial information.

[Wade]: Noted. We basically talked about Azmuth zipping all over the galaxy. I'm thinking that he might be with these guys, or using their power to travel somehow.

[Trixy]: You are suggesting that Azmuth has been staying with the Afzelii? That would explain why no one has been able to locate him in over a decade.

[Wade]: Now the question is: How would we even go about finding guys that can be anywhere in the galaxy in an instant?

[Trixy]: I am unable to answer that question at this time. I will study this map for a while longer and report my findings at a later date.

[Wade]: Thanks Trixy. You're the best.

[Trixy]: Your flattery is very much appreciated.

Your Plumber badge lights up and chimes softly, informing you that you have a message. You reroute the message to your Omnitrix and answer it. It's Koba!

[Koba]: Hey kid, how you making out over there?

[Wade]: I'm coming along fine. Found some interesting stuff about an old race of aliens, and I think I might have an idea of where Azmuth has been all this time. How's everything on your end?

[Koba]: No kidding?! Then that means we both have good news. Come on down to that room from before. We can talk about it there.

You hang up and run on over to where you met Koba last. You think you're getting the hang of finding your way around this place. Even without a map, they have a bunch of directories placed around the station for recruits and visitors. When you enter the room, you find Koba waiting for you while fiddling with his Plumber's badge.

[Koba]: So I've got some good news. I was surfing through the old comm channels and found an encrypted message. Think it was meant for you.

He faces it towards you and allows a recorded message to play.

[Iden]: Greetings, Subject 10. Or should I call you "X"? I caught wind of your transmission from Earth. Very inspirational.

You'd recognize her smug, nasally voice anywhere.

[Iden]: I could go on, but it's best for me to be brief. I'd like you to come find me in the Artorian Sector. We have much to discuss. See you soon!

The transmission cuts out for a moment, before starting over again.

[Koba]: Its been playing on repeat for a while now. I don't know if anyone else has caught wind of it yet, but we better hurry.

[Wade]: But, she didn't provide any coordinates. How are we supposed to find her?

Koba pulls up the transmission again, but he drowns out Iden’s voice and raises the volume on the background noise.

[Koba]: You hear that beeping in the background? Doesn't sound like it'd mean anything, but I think it might be a secret message. Reminds me of the encoded messages we'd send during the Tetramand Suppression. And I might be a bit rusty, but I'm pretty sure she's broadcasting her transmission to us on repeat.

So it's kinda like alien Morse Code.

[Wade]: Well that doesn't sound too smart of her.

[Koba]: No, it doesn't. Which is why we have to move quick. You can fill me in on the whole “Azmuth” situation on the way.

You board Koba's personal shuttle and tell him about what you've found.

[Koba]: So you think Azmuth has been hiding amongst aliens that were supposed to be extinct?

[Wade]: It's the best theory we've got so far.

[Koba]: So how are we supposed to find him?

[Wade]: We're working on that part.

[Koba]: Well, let me know when you find something solid. It'd be good to have Azmuth back our side again.

[Notch]: Uh, dudes?

You and Koba approach the cockpit to check with Koba's pilot. He's a turtle-hybrid with dirty blonde hair, a cap and sunglasses.

[Wade]: What's up?

[Notch]: We've arrived at our destination.

You both look out the window to see nothing but empty space and asteroids.

[Koba]: Well that's not right.

You reach out and extend your mind into the astral plane. Not deep enough to get swept away, but deep enough to get a grasp of what else is in there. And there's definitely something there in front of you.

[Wade]: There's something there, we just can't see it. Trixy, scan for alien DNA matching Iden's.

[Trixy]: Certainly.

Trixy extends her scanning beam into the black reaches of space.

[Trixy]: Alien life form detected.

[Wade]: So I was right. Hey Koba, can you play that transmission back again? Maybe we missed something.

[Koba]: Sure thing.

Koba plays the transmission once more, but focuses more on Iden's voice this time.

[Iden]: Greetings, Subject 10.

Just then, a massive black ship reveals itself to you. It must have been cloaked this entire time.

[Wade]: So the transmission was also the key to get in. That was kinda clever.

[Koba]: Just don't tell her that. She'll get a big head. Take us in, Notch.

[Notch]: Aye aye, man.

Notch approaches the ship and docks it into the open loading bay. There appears to be some sort of field that keeps the oxygen in and regulates the artificial gravity. Pretty high-tech stuff.

Once you exit the ship, you see Iden waiting for you with her arms folded behind her back.

[Iden]: You got my message. How wonderful. I guess I can shut off that transmission.

Koba keeps his hand on his blaster as he approaches her cautiously. She can't be THAT dangerous.

[Iden]: So, what brings you all here? Have you considered my previous offer?

>"I have, and I want to know what you can offer me in terms of 'Upgrades'."
>"I have, and I don't think I want you messing with my genes any more than you already have."

[Wade]: Wait, how'd you even get off of Rad's ship?

[Iden]: Oh, it's a long story. Subject 9 destroyed the ship, attempted to eliminate me and asked for your location. I refused to give it to her though.

[Wade]: That didn't sound like a long story. Is Rad okay?

[Iden]: He's fine. Probably...

There's a bit of a long pause between the two of you.

[Iden]: So, about that offer...

[Wade]: I'm not here for that. I want your help with finding and stopping Wendy. I think I may know of a way to cure her of her mental illness.

[Iden]: Wendy?

[Trixy]: Subject 9.

[Iden]: She picked a name for herself? They grow up so fast...

Iden seems overjoyed over such a trivial thing.

[Wade]: Are you gonna help me or not?

[Iden]: I'd need to know the problem before we can discuss a solution.

You explain the concept of the Amalgamatrix and how it's been poisoning her mind slowly. Iden listens attentively without interrupting once.

[Iden]: So you need me to remove this Omnitrix knock-off from your sister and take it apart?

[Wade]: Basically. We don't know how to go about doing that.

[Iden]: Hmm, it doesn't sound too difficult. If I splice through her device's firewalls, we may be able to cause the device to detach from her hand. The tools in my lab should suffice.

She walks you over to a massive laboratory with a metal table in the middle. There are all sorts of difficult books and complicated machinery placed around the room, with a single bright light shining down onto the operating table.

[Iden]: I would just require you to bring her to me. Unconscious of course.

[Wade]: So if we can bring her here, then you can remove the device and cure her?

[Iden]: Curing her will be no simple feat. The process will take 6 months at the least, and that depends on whether the damage to her brain has left any unsightly scarring. For now, just bring her here.

[Wade]: Got it. Thanks for trying to help.

[Iden]: Oh please, what sort of creator would I be if I did not assist my creation in achieving greatness?

She places a hand on your shoulder, but you don't feel as if this is a particularly tender moment.

[Wade]: To be honest...I am sort of curious as to what you can offer me. Could you tell me a bit about what you'd do? I'll make my decision after I'm fully informed.

[Iden]: Certainly!

She jumps for joy and goes to grab a digital catalog. After pressing a few buttons, she shows you what your options are.

[Iden]: You have two options here. I can either augment you with a physical mutation or cybernetic enhancements. Due to my resources being limited, you will only be able to pick from a few that I arranged beforehand. Here, have a look.

(Continued in Next post)

She turns it around to show you what she can do for you.

Genetic alteration:

>Enhanced Intellect: Brain surgery will be involved in this procedure. After some minor alterations in your genetic code and a transplant, your capacity for learning and ability to retain difficult information will drastically increase.

>Enhanced Strength and Durability: Greatly strengthens your muscle fibers and bones through artificial genetic mutation. The flesh, however, is not as strong and requires a protective layer to be placed over it still.

>Enhanced Agility: Grants you a myriad of abilities by improving your balance, coordination, equilibrium and dexterity.

Cybernetic Implants

>Enhanced Speed: This procedure will involve cybernetic enhancements that will be placed in several parts of your body in order to make you much faster than any human on the planet. This will require the most chrome-ware installments out of any procedure.

>Cyberlink: Places a chip in your head that allows you to freely interface with technology. You'd be your very own supercomputer!

>BIONIC ARM!!!!: Are you brave enough to have your own arm chopped off? You could do anything with it. Have a blaster put in there, or maybe a buzzsaw, etc. The choice is yours.

Third Option

>Cool Suit: "I don't need any of that stuff. I just need a cool suit to replace this parasite."

[Iden]: These are the options I've compiled in order to avoid changing your outward appearance, genetic makeup or brain chemistry too drastically. Go ahead, take your pick!

Enhanced intellect is always the best, with this mutation we could learn enough to enhance our suit and eventually ourselves (I don't want to rely on the creepy doctor forever), also taskmaster's kind of bullshit learning (but that would require a pretty high int level with enhandments)

All of that sounds nice, but you don't really need that stuff.

[Wade]: I don't need any of that. All I need is a cool suit to replace this parasite.

You tickle the leech around your neck and it begins to purr. What a weird creature.

[Iden]: "Parasite" you say. It appears you've picked up yet another stray.

Iden scans your body for a brief moment and starts drawing blueprints for your new suit.

[Iden]: I believe that I have just the thing for you. If you don't mind waiting, then I can assemble your suit in a few hours.

You look to Koba, who sighs and silently agrees to stay while she works on your new suit.

[Wade]: We can wait.

[Iden]: Excellent, I'll get right to work.

You watch closely as she melts a foreign ore into liquid metals and pours it into a cast. She then starts working on the interior designs, which seem incredibly complex to you.

[Iden]: Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to help me make this thing?

[Wade]: Huh? Oh, right!

You open up the Omnitrix on your waist, as the selection wheel is displayed in front of you as a holographic display. When you make your selection, you slap your hand down on your belt and transform into Grey Matter before hopping up on the operating table.

Over the next few hours, you swap between Grey Matter and Upgrade, switching places with Iden and giving each other breaks. Once the metal plates have finished cooling and being hammered into place, you and Iden begin installing the cybernetics inside of the suit and making sure that Trixy can manage the more complex functions. Iden allowed you to choose the design, which was kind of a no-brainer for you. It's gotta be Black RX!

[Iden]: Now, to add the finishing touches.

Iden leaves to go fetch a glowing orange cube that she kept in a secure vault.

[Wade]: What's that?

[Iden]: This is a Techadon Army, condensed into a miniature dehydrated cube. As long as it's kept dry, then it should provide a limitless source of energy for you.

She carefully places the cube inside of a belt that she securely fastens to the waist of your suit.

[Iden]: So, are you ready to try it on?

[Wade]: yeah, just let me get this thing off. If I could only figure out how to-

[Iden]: Oh, allow me to be of assistance.

Iden pulls out a baton and uses it shock your parasite, causing it to uncoil from your neck and attach itself to Iden's arm. You haven't felt so naked in a long time. You really got used to having the little guy attached to your skin. It's a good thing you still have your mask and pants on. Iden disposes of the creature by placing it in a small containment device.

(Continued in New Post)

[Iden]: Go on now, don't be shy.

[Wade]: I want you to turn around first.

[Iden]: Why?

[Wade]: I don't want you to see my face.

[Iden]: Don't be ridiculous. I'm your creator. There isn't any part of you I haven't personally sculpted.

You cross your arms over your bare chest and tap your foot expectantly. She sighs and turns around as you pull your mask off and lay down into your new suit. With a sharp hiss, the suit's parts begin to lock into place as the operating system jumps to life. Trixy flawlessly interfaces with the suit's systems and optimizes them for peak efficiency.

After a few seconds, you rise from the operating table and try to move around a little.

[Iden]: So, how do you feel?

[Iden]: Of course. It's the pride and joy of the Inspectors. You'll never be able to fully comprehend its-

[Trixy]: Techadon cube interfacing complete. I should have full access to its functions shortly.

Iden looks visibly upset that she's been bested by a Galvan creation. In the meantime, you pick up a piece of that ore from before and crush it between your fingers almost effortlessly.

[Wade]: Whoa...

[Iden]: That ore was on the weaker side, but your strength and all your other physical attributes should be enhanced by this suit.

[Wade]: So many choices, so little time. I'll have to decide on it later. For now, let's go find Wendy.

[Iden]: Lucky for you, I have just the tool.

Iden rummages through a bin full of discarded gadgets, and pulls out some sort of long range scanner.

[Iden]: This baby should be able to lock onto a genetic signature from the other side of the galaxy. We tried using it to find Azmuth, but the damn thing was busted. Kept changing his location every few minutes. But since then, I've made some much needed alterations to it. it should be able to lock onto Wendy if you deposit your DNA into this container.

She hands you a small petri dish along with a syringe.

[Wade]: Fine. But I want that sample destroyed after we use the scanner.

You snatch the supplies from her hands and scowl at her. You don't want your DNA in her hands again.

[Iden]: Oh, come on. Don't you trust me?

You remain silent.

[Iden]: Fair enough. Here, let me help you with that.

You begrudgingly allow Iden to take a sample of your DNA and place it inside of the petri dish. She fires up the scanner and you watch closely as she disposes of the sample in a furnace. Good riddance.

[Iden]: Now let's see. Scans show that she's somewhere in the Laymin system, on planet 5344-B. That's Kanjigar, a humid jungle planet with valuable mineral deposits all over. It's a breddig ground for petty crooks and smugglers.

[Wade]: Sounds like fun. How long will it take to get there.

[Iden]: If you plot the course correctly, you should be there in 2 and a half hours.

[Notch]: That's only if you're flying at a snail's pace. I can get you there in 1 hour.

Koba and Notch walk into the lab and examine your shiny new suit.

[Koba]: Seems like you've got a new costume every time I see you.

Bad news. I won't be able to run the session planned for Friday, and I won't be available to run until Sunday at 4pm EDT. I'll keep you guys updated on the situation. Thanks supporting the quest and playing my interactive fanfic. Sorry again for the delay, and I hope you guys enjoy your weekend.

Just wanted to post a small update in the meantime, containing details of what everyone’s been up to since the Aftermath of the invasion. I won't be available to run, but I can answer any questions that you might have while I'm gone.

>Hope(Wade’s Dimension): Reunited with her Uncle Hex, who has since reflected on his failure and grown from it.

>Spud: Killed during the invasion. He died saving a family of five, and will be remembered as a hero.

>Rojo: Joined Jessie’s gang of knights in order to maintain peace and exact revenge for her fallen friend. Saw your transmission from earlier, and she’s thinking of giving you a call sometime to see how you’re doing.

>Alan: Joined Michael Morningstar’s team of mutant kids. He’s still getting used to living in a mansion, and he can’t shake the weird feeling he gets whenever he talks to Professor Morningstar. The other kids are nice though. Especially Helen.

>Julie: Gearing up for her Summer Tennis Tournament with Carol. The two of them have grown much closer through friendly competition and the occasional superhero team-up.

>The Saturdays: Pursuing the Mothman. It’s proving to be much more difficult than they had anticipated.

>Attea: Impatiently awaiting the return of Prince Bullfrag.

>Viktor: Finding homes for alien refugees that were made homeless during the invasion. Thinking of setting up shop in Undertown.

>Lucy: Persuading her parents to help end the feud between Plumbers and Lenopans.

>K8-E: Getting relentlessly teased by her sisters about her relationship with you. Also getting flustered about how bold she was on that magical night. Can’t wait to see you again when you get back.

>Phil: Received information from Koba that you’re safe with him. He has his hands full with all the new heroes and villains springing up out of nowhere. Hopes that you'll return home soon to help out.

>Olivia: Steadily improving with her control of mana through Gwen’s teaching assistance. She might be a bit of a prodigy.

>Kevin: Enjoying life with his friends and family supporting him. He hasn’t been this happy in a long time. Even with the constant fights he’s been getting in the past few days.

>Kirby: Has been relaxing by helping out with humanitarian aid and spending quality time with his wife.

>Hope(Kirby’s Dimension): Discreetly fighting cosmic horrors that threaten our galaxy. Verdona helps out every now and again.

>Ester: Recently became the leader of her Kraaho tribe, and has her hands full with learning how to properly lead them. Has been coming to Kirby for assistance and advice on how to properly protect her people. Occasionally hangs out with Olivia and Kevin in her free time.

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
>Black Knight: In hiding with the rest for King Toley’s knights. Hopes to one day see Wade again and find the meaning behind the hatred he feels towards him.

>Cree: Obtained the Charm of Telekinesis and is slowly growing in power. She fantasizes about the day that she might obtain the other charms and exact her revenge on Adwaita for what he had done to her.
>>
>K8-E: Getting relentlessly teased by her sisters about her relationship with you. Also getting flustered about how bold she was on that magical night. Can’t wait to see you again when you get back.

Damnit, she's too fuckin precious!

What happened to Rex?
>>
Oof! Totally forgot to include him.

>Rex: Due to Elena's grasp on him weakening from the stress of being in the public eye, Rex managed to break free of her control long enough to create some distance between the two of them. Before he could be recaptured by rest of The Pack, he was rescued by a group of mercenaries that were said to be the last remnants of Providence. Rex, Doc Holiday and Agent Six are now running from the long arm of the law, working in secret to shut down Evo-Corp's operations. Rex hopes he can one day return to Bellwood and free the rest of his enslaved teammates.

Who was spud again .-.

Also hope's helping Verdona huh? I hope (kek) she doesn't get in over her head
>>
>>3408867
Spud was Rojo's friend and he helped a bit during Mother's NY takeover. It's been quite a long time since he was even mentioned to be fair.

Hope had gotten interested because she's never seen, let alone heard of, an Omnivore before. They're both in for a wild ride.
>>
Good news! I'll be able to run a session today at 4pm EDT. Sorry for the flip-flopping, but I hope you guys can make it.

[Koba]: Looks like you’ve got a new costume every time I see you.

[Wade]: None like this one.

You flex your fingers with little to no resistance from your suit. Usually, you’d run the risk of crushing your bones by moving recklessly, but it seems that Trixy is compensating by predicting your movements and aiding them.

Come to think of it...Iden did a lot of work to help you out here. It’s not like you paid her or anything either. She deserves your gratitude.

[Wade]: Hey, thanks for doing this for me. For us. We couldn’t have done it without you.

[Iden]: Sure you could. It would’ve taken considerably longer, but you could have done it. You can do anything that you set your mind to. And I’m not just saying that as your proud creator. That’s how I made you to be. That’s your superpower.

Hypercompetence and a high learning capacity, huh? Not a bad power set to have. This moment is getting a little too tender for your liking.

[Wade]: Once we capture Wendy, we’ll bring her back here to remove the Amalgamatrix.

[Iden]: Understood. Do try to return soon. I’m not sure how long I can remain hidden from the Plumbers.

She places a miniature scanner in your hands and gives you a faint smile. You silently nod to her and board Koba’s shuttle once more.

[Notch]: Next stop, Kanjigar.

Within seconds, you jump to hyperspace and follow the plotted course to the dense jungle planet.

[Wade]: Hey Trixy, can you tell me what this suit can do?

[Trixy]: Certainly. Due to the installation of the Techadon cube, you are able to produce, manipulate and regenerate powerful weapons and defenses that are securely stored in your suit without weighing you down. It will grant the ability of limited flight, enhanced strength and durability, along with alien weaponry and basic life support systems. And I will provide support to the best of my ability. 30-40% of my processing power goes to managing your suit's systems, but it is not taxing to my internal processor.

[Wade]: Wow. That's a pretty big improvement. Let's hope we can make this suit last longer than the previous one.

[Trixy]: I would certainly hope so.

You sit back and relax for the remainder of your voyage.
---------------

After about 50 minutes, you exit hyperspace and quickly descend onto Kanjigar. It’s probably the most beautiful planet you’ve visited so far. It’s just so lush and undisturbed. Well...besides the mercenary outposts that are placed around the globe. One of which you’re docking in at this very moment.

Upon exiting the ship, you notice that the local authorities are investigating an aggravated assault that recently took place.

>Flash your shiny new credentials and investigate the case.
>Use the mini scanner that Iden gave you to track Wendy down.
>Ask the locals if they’ve seen someone fitting her description.

You approach the boys in blue(Who happen to have blue skin as well) and flash your shiny new Plumber's badge. The guards are tall and lanky, but in a bizarre way. They mostly seem to resemble trolls from Swedish folklore.

[Wade]: My name is X. I'm a Deputized Agent of the Plumbers. What's going on here?

The officers seem to be thrown off guard by your suit, but they comply with your wishes nonetheless.

[Lou]: Big ol' guy with yellow armor came through here and laid this poor punk on his thorax. We think he said something stupid and overstepped his boundaries.

You look down at the injured insect man, who's covered in bruises and small scrapes from the altercation. He seems to be fine. Probably hurt his pride though.

[Wade]: Did it look like a Galvanic Mechamorph with a crazy looking glove on his left hand?

The guards give each other confused looks before returning their gaze to you.

[Nedd]: Uh, yeah actually. How'd you know?

[Koba]: Let's just say that we've been chasing this guy for some time now.

[Wade]: Any idea where he went?

They both point to a smoldering pile of scrap next a gaping hole in a concrete wall.

[Wade]: Let me guess. They wanted to go to the "Tourist restricted" areas?

[Nedd]: You can say that. We live next to a tribe of semi-aquatic aliens called the Irukanji. They were here first, so they didn't wanna budeg when we settled here about 57 years ago. We've learned to tolerate each other, but that balance is fragile. Do you think you can bring your friend back here before they cause too much trouble?

[Wade]: That's why we're here, officer. We'll bring her back safely.

Their eyes widen when you say "She" but they shrug it off and allow you to pass through the already destroyed barrier. You pull out you scanner and activate your suit's booster jets, allowing you to make long strides across the jungle floor. Koba manages to keep up with you by using his jump-pack, so you're not too worried about leaving him in the dust.

Eventually, you come across a large stone temple that seems to be inspired by Aztec culture. A long, flowing river stretches towards the temple and flows back down to a small village in the distance.

[Koba]: Hey, look over there.

Koba sees a fish man drifting along the river while unconscious. He looks pretty banged up...

A loud explosion interrupts your examination of his wounds. Looks like it came from the temple. Must be your sister.

[Koba]: Go. I'll handle things down here.

You nod to him and dash towards the temple.

>Transform into an alien and use your scanner to find Wendy. (Which one?)
>Try to sneak up on your sister and see what she's up to. You need to gather more information first.
>Swim along the river with one of your aquatic aliens in order to get to the temple faster.

You use your boosters to get closer to the temple, but shut them off once you've reached the steps. This temple has a bit of a steep incline, so you don't want to risk using your boosters while climbing them. You see various Irukanji passed out on the stone temple steps, battered, bruised and sometimes severely burned. Even their clothes greatly resemble those of the Aztecs. Their weapons appear to be primitive upon first glance, but you also notice that they all have these clear crystals embedded in them for some reason. Maybe they have some significance.

One one of the temple's levels, you see Wendy in her Mechamorph armor, surrounded by Irukanji warriors. Your Omnitrix translates their language for you to hear clearly.

[Wendy]: Last chance, ass-wipes. Give me the Sunstone and I won't bring this temple down on your slimy heads.

One of the more well-dressed aliens steps forward to address your sister. He must be the leader. A spiny dorsal fin protrudes from his helmet and shifts from side-to-side as he speaks.

[Royal Guard]: Never! Flee these sacred grounds, and do not return. That is our final offer.

The rest of the royal guards ready their spears and shields, preparing to die protecting this "Sunstone".

[Wendy]: Suit yourselves. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Wendy's suit produces several weapons that look as if they could fatally wound you in your human form. Each and every gun is trained onto the guards and unleashes an onslaught of heated plasma. Some of the shots hit their mark, but most of them are blocked by their shields. The Irukanji start blasting her with their plasma spears, causing her to recoil in pain and respond with a hail of bullets. They seem to be working well together, but their formation is strange. Like they're purposely trying to stay within the sunlight that's filtering through the temple's ceiling. The stones in the their weapons and armor appear to be drawing power from their exposure to the sun. Noticing this, Wendy stretches her armor into the shape of a dome and envelops them inside of it. Once their power source is cut off, she makes quick work of them within the dome.

[Wendy]: Told you.

Wendy walks toward two large stone doors that are securely shut.

Use a PEM or electric shock, It will disrupt her mechamorph suit and knock her out at the same time (transform into Zimpunk if necesary), then trap her in a solid dimond block with diamonhead (cover her mouth, we don't know if she has a voice command, but make sure she can breath).

You select Big Chill on your Omnitrix and slam down on your belt before revealing yourself. Wendy turns around to see a bright purple flash and...something's wrong.

You look down at your feet, to see that you're standing on your hands instead. You've become Dropkick!

[Wade]: Not what I was going for, but I'll take it.

Wendy's helmet peels back to reveal her slightly annoyed face.

[Wendy]: What are you doing here, dweeb?

[Wade]: I could ask you the same thing. Why'd you just trash this whole sacred temple for some rock?

[Wendy]: It's not just any old rock. It's the Sunstone. It collects solar energy, amplifies it a hundred fold and redistributes it raw burning power. This thing can power a space station for a thousand years without losing its luster. Do you know how much it's gonna sell on the market?! I could help a lot of people with that money. If you help me get it, I can even split the profits with you.

[Wade]: You already know my answer to that.

Wendy sighs deeply and takes on a much more serious expression.

[Wendy]: Yeah, I do...

Wendy covers up her face once more and raises her arm to fire at you.

You dash towards Wendy, barely avoiding the plasma shot as it grazes your bone helmet, only to land directly in the clutches of her cold hands.

While she holds you by your neck with one hand, she forms a cannon with the other and shoots you at point blank range. In a burst of yellow light, a wave of smoldering heat burns your flesh, followed by an overwhelming concussive force that causes you to fly backward into a wall. Kinda feels a 500 degree punch to the gut.

Wendy tries to follow up by delivering a shoulder charge directly afterward. Why isn't she using her bootleg Omnitrix?

You wait until the very last moment, pretending to act all groggy and disoriented from the blast. And right before her forearm makes contact with your body, you jump over her and kick your feet against her back as she misses you completely and collides with the wall. All the momentum she built up gets used against her, as she crashes through the wall and begins tumbling down the temple steps.

She tries to regain her balance with her rocket boosters, but you chase her down and slam her face back down into the jagged steps. You surf her body down the entire flight of steps and flip away from her as she groans in pain.

[Wendy]: Fuck off! I'm fine and I don't care that we're related. I just needed your aliens. The only reason I haven't blown a hole through you yet is because I don't wanna kill somebody that looks just like me.

Wendy points her cannon at you, but you aren't paying too much attention to her at the moment. You're a bit distracted by the fact that you're surrounded by those fish people from before. Seeing as they have their spears raised towards you, they seem to consider you an intruder as well.

This volatile situation might get out of hand if you don't take control of it. You place a hand in front of Wendy in order to stop her from doing something reckless.

[Wade]: Let me handle this.

She stares at you for a moment, before backing up a bit and crossing her arms.

[Wade]: We'll be out of your hair in just a minute. I just have to take care of my sister here. And I'll be sure to compensate you guys for the damages that were done to your village.

[Wendy]: I'm not leaving without that stone.

[Wade]: Give it up already. If it's money you want, then we can earn it another way.

[Wendy]: Not this much. It'd take too long.

[Wade]: Why are you in such a rush?

[Wendy]: ...You wouldn't understand.

You both prepare to continue your fight from earlier, but your focus is interrupted by the ground shaking violently all of a sudden.

Suddenly, a giant beast emerges from the jungle with a deafening roar. And riding atop the creature is a group of alien jungle dwellers. They have grey skin, and a very defined musculature. The one steering the mammoth-like monster is a woman wearing a headdress adorned with antlers and a loincloth and bra to cover her naughty bits.

[Wendy]: Looks like you're gonna have a lot to pay for, bro.

[Moronica]: Pip! Grogg! Get the stone!

Two Pterosaurs fly overhead, carrying two children that are similar in appearance to the woman on the mammoth. And they're flying towards the top of the temple!

[Wendy]: You're not taking it from me!

Wendy looks as if she's preparing to take off and chase the children.

You time out and jump onto Wendy's back right before she takes off. And as a parting gift, you throw a mana bolt at the mammoth lady which slams into her chest and knocks her off balance.

[Wendy]: What?! Get off of me!

[Wade]: We can't let them get that stone. I need your help on this one.

It's a good thing this suit comes with life support, or else you wouldn't be able to breathe or prevent the wind from getting in your eyes.

[Wendy]: Well that makes one of us. I ain't in the business of giving free rides. Especially to my punk-ass copy.

[Wade]: Look. We can either keep fighting until the sun goes down, or we can work together and stop them from taking the stone from us.

[Wendy]: Fine. But don't expect me to just let you have it after this is all over.

Considering you need one hand to hang onto Wendy, you try tossing a mana bolt at these Pterosaurs. But you check again and realize that there's one missing…

Suddenly, the other Pterosaur swoops from behind and grabs you by your arms. You try to reach for your belt, but you just can't seem to reach.

You quickly select Big Chill and slap your hand onto the Omnitrix's core. In a bright purple flash, you become Big Chill!

The boy riding his Pterosaur dives toward you, so you make him think that you're absolutely defenseless. And at the very last moment, you allow them to phase right through you, freezing him and the dinosaur solid. The two of them smash into the wall, breaking the thick layer of ice, before plummeting to the ground.

[Pip]: Grogg!

The cave-girl dives down to grab her brother, but is intercepted by Wendy, who slams her and the Pterosaur into a nearby temple wall.

[Wendy]: Serves you right.

Seeing as Wendy isn't going to make an effort to save them, you quickly descend towards them and snatch them up before they can hit the ground. You spot a shady tree and place them all around it for their own safety. The loud cry of an elephant directs your attention back to the villager's fight. It seems Koba's joined the Irukanji in their battle against the Mammoth lady.

You take to the skies once more, heading to the top of the temple. You're pretty sure Wendy's there taking advantage of the chaos around here.

You enter a dark room upon reaching the top of the temple, and you see a white stone resting on a pedestal, emanating a brilliantly bright light. Wendy was right. that thing's probably worth a fortune!

You spot your sister standing near the stone, bathed in the light that filters through the open ceiling. She looks like she's hesitating a bit.

>"You seem desperate. Tell me what's really going on. I can help you."

The mind's the best therapist. She thinks we're a goody two shoes. She'll bring out her own doubts to us

You approach her from behind and place your hand gingerly on her shoulder. She turns to face you as you silently stare at her. Preaching to her won't do any good now. She's knows what she's doing isn't right.

Wendy shrugs your hand off and reaches for the stone, but she stops herself right before she can make contact with it. Her hand trembles in a fit of frustration, and she slams her fist into the ground while cursing at the sky.

[Wendy]: FUCK!

You move closer to her once more, your face still as serious as it was before.

[Wendy]: Don't look at me like that. I know already...

Wendy recalls her armor into her prosthetic limb and crosses her arms across her chest.

[Wendy]: I know.

[Wade]: What's going on?

Your sister takes a deep breath before looking directly into your eyes.

[Wendy]: A few days back, I experienced something bizarre. A ghost came out of the Amalgamatrix and made all these crazy threats. I tried to get her away from me, but I couldn't even touch her. Bitch got into my head, showed me some crazy shit about her past. I could barely understand any of it. I still don't.

You think consider interrupting, but decide against it for now.

[Wendy]: Then she tried to take over my body. Almost did it too. But since she got into my head, I saw a little too much of her memories. Realized the bitch was weak to sunlight, so Killa-byte opened the blinds on my shuttle and gave her a full dose of Vitamin D. She ran like a punk, cursing at me and warning me of her return. I thought it was a load of shit at first, but...

Wendy walks towards the other side of the room and sighs deeply while rubbing her shoulders.

[Wendy]: Bet you think I'm crazy now, huh?

Writing and combining...

You time out and walk over to your distressed twin. She turns around to face you as you remove your helmet and pull her into a tight hug. She audibly gasps and opens her arms in surprise. You see her clenching ans flexing her fist, as if fighting back some sort of trained reflex that's been engrained in her body. Then it hits you...

You were lucky to have your family protecting and guiding you. But Wendy didn't have that. She never received any affection from others, and had to fight for survival her entire life. And that only makes you want to hug her even more. Surprisingly, she closes her arms around you gently and accepts your hug.

Before it gets weird, you break away and place a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

[Wade]: You're not crazy. At least, I don't think you are. In fact, I might be one of the only ones that believes every word that you're saying right now.

[Wendy]: You actually believe this shit?

You nod your head.

[Wendy]: Pfft. Fucking weirdo. Guess it'd make sense that my on clone would be the only one to believe me.

She brushes your hand off of her shoulder, but she seems to be in a much better mood than before. At least she's smiling.

[Wendy]: So, you wanna fill me in on what you know about that thing?

[Wade]: That ghost is a bad copy of one of my aliens. They're called Ectonurites.

[Wendy]: Heh. So it's my fault, huh? Figures...

Her tone leads you to believe that she feels somewhat guilty. Or maybe she's just kicking herself for creating something that wants to kill her.

[Wade]: I was afraid that this might happen. But I didn't think about it until after you left Earth.

Wendy averts her gaze and stares at the floor for a moment.

[Wendy]: What should I do?

[Wade]: I can help you. You don't have to deal with this on your own.

You extend a hand to her, and she apprehensively stares at it for a moment before reaching to grab it. Suddenly, Wendy clutches her head in pain and falls to the floor. You try to help her, but her Galvanic Mechamorph, Killa-byte, creates a barrier to prevent you from touching her.

After a brief moment of terror and confusion, her episode is over as quickly as it began.

[Wade]: What was that? Are you okay?

When she opens her eyes, you see that they are now pitch black. You can't even see her pupils anymore.

[Wendy]: This is new...

Wendy's surprisingly calm, but she's having trouble keeping her breathing rhythm in check. This must be very overwhelming for her.

[Wade]: What's happening?

[Wendy]: Her memories. She left some behind by accident. I'm getting...glimpses of something. A ship, I think.

[Wade]: Anything else?

[Wendy]: Oh fuck...that's not good...

Her expression is that of sheer terror. She doesn't seem like the type to scare easy, either.

[Wade]: What do you see?

[Wendy]: "The Dreadnaught"
