Sorry guys, I had no internet, then had network errors, and 4chan is spitting error messages at me like mad. Let me know if you can see this post, please!

And of course, let me know so we can start the thread. Better late than never, after all.

After dying in a plane crash, a chemical engineer is reborn in a fantasy world running literally in old JRPG rules. He can see the menus and stat blocks that other people cannot, and after a few years, he learnt of a interdimensional invasion by beings known just as [ERROR]s.

With a few years to prepare, Eldric is now 14 (a couple weeks away from 15, which is considered adulthood in most of this world's cultures), and having already managed to forge an alliance between friendly nations in order to prepare for it.

In fact, we just fought off the first 'exploratory' invasion thanks to finding that plant-type monsters, which are usually disregarded as weak and extremely slow-leveling, are actually this world's natural defense against the [ERROR]s, and level up extremely quickly when eating them. Currently, Eldric has managed to use his Beastmaster job to acquire 1 Empress-class plant faery, and 2 Queen-type plant faeries.

He's in fact juuuust acquired the queens, which he named Violetta and Delphi.

Having been spawned by Eldric's (our MC( Empress plant faery, Fleur, they are still brand newly born babies/children and, while they may look like they are in their early teens, they still don't know how to talk and run pretty much on instinct. When we last left, we were petting Delphi's head after giving her some snacks, and we were thinking about what to do now.

Well, we should probably give our friends some reports about the fight. We managed to bomb the [ERROR]s from the sky thanks to our flying 'rockitship' armada and taking advantage of the monsters not being able to fly, and thanks to having months to prepare and seed the area with plant faery monsters, the [ERROR] invasion was pretty much bombed or eaten into nonexistence.

Mako is the empress of the Alquian Empire, and our gianceé.

Ren is Mako's sister, and ruler of the Heavenly Empire. She loves us, but has officially stepped aside in favor of Mako.

Okaba is the king of the Heven Kingdom. He's a socially progressive ruler, who sent his country's elite sorcerer units to help us.

Asmund is the ruler of a magocratic university-city, and had loaned us legions of automaton-like undead (we didnt use them, though) to fight the [ERROR]s in the ground, if needed.

Who do you want to report in person to, if to anyone. The others should get a writen notification thanks to our magically linked journals.
>>
YES! I finally fixed the network issue! (I think)

Let me know when/if you guys show up, and sorry about being SO late.
>>
Miellewds-guy here.

We should send back full reports after we find out if the [ERROR]s had hidden more of their new cyborg units in the rubble of the city. We were waiting for night to see if they would attempt a night attack.

Oh, and Tapac has gotten graphology pictures of the attack to include in our report, didn’t he?
I want to make it very clear that we are disappointed that the intel that he and Grandpa gave us about the [ERROR]s was so incomplete and erroneous.
Make sure to really hammer home how they didn’t know shit about the shield generator of the Keep, how to fix it if it broke, and how Grandpa’s plan would have resulted in a disaster because he was basing everything on assumptions and guesswork with no experimental basis. I mean, did he even calculate how far the Portal is above the level of the Keep? How much power would be needed to get the shield to hit the Portal? Or if the unmaintained shield generator could even handle the load? That’s assuming his idea of the shield closing the Portal even works.
>>
>>3389725
Reporting back to them seems premature, since we aren’t sure if there are more of the half machine [ERROR]s. But if we report to anyone, it should be Ren, since the naval units came from the Empire and she made the biggest contribution, as well as this island being Imperial territory.
>>
King, are you going to run at all?

Sorry guys, I've been having network issues, and then it was my birthday and got kidnapped away. On the plus side, one of my friends fixed my network issues, so we should be good to go now, at last.

Having successfully tamed the new Plant Faery Queens, we spend the rest of the evening looking around in the city debris.

Troops begin to disembark to help with the inspection, and, if everything is clear (of enemies), begin clearing the debris to start rebuilding.

Ah, this is a chance to lie down the street with a plan in mind, isn't it? Cities normally grow in a very organiz and unorganized manner in this world, so having an orderly plan would be...

Before we get carried away, though, we hear cries of alarm, and rush over to find that indeed, there's one of those metal-carrying [ERROR]s swinging at some of the troops. It seems they dug it out from the ruins, so... was it trapped, or was it hiding¡

Its metal tentacle ends in a short but sharp spike, and it is using it like a scorpion tail to strike at the soldiers, though the wounds seem rather shallow since they can still fight.

This world's hp system sure is convenient. Honestly, if a grown man in our old world got hit by a metal spike at the end of a 12ft long metal tendril full force, we're pretty sure there would be broken bones and traume involved.

Here, though, their hp goes down by some degree. Surely convenient.

"Step back, don't get hit by it!" - we remember the infiltrator was turning people into [ERROR] pawns, so we'll need to examine the soldiers later,

"Lyann, please draw its attention while I set up the field generator."
"Yes!" - she replies promptly
"I'll help!" - Dawn moves up and draws her staff
"Yes!" - Aritsu imitates her
"Don't kill it, but more importantly, don't get hit."

Lyann is a dodge-based tank, but they're 'normally' tanky, after all.

Well, Lyann's debuffs are working fine, it seems, so she manages to [Slow] and [Frog] the [ERROR], which turns it temporarily into a stunted, half asleep fat frog while we set up the containment field.

We were going to use this one for the dungeon faery but... well, we'll need to do so later.

""..."" - Aritsu and Dawn were pretty pumped up, but now that they're looking at the dumb frog, they've grown really deflated, uh?

Well, they thought it was going to be a boss fight, probably. A literal otherworldly horror, after all.

"Alright Lyann, pull it through the field, then I'll turn it up."
"Yes!"

I wonder if we could make something more portable and easier to use. Kind of like the traps the ghostbusters used.

Well, it couldn't shrink the monster for easy transport... probably? But it would be useful to be able to throw something to the floor and have it just open into a generator field.

>Delay the cleanup until we can get more generators, in case there's more of these guys.
>Kill the rest.

Have the soldiers fall back to the ships, and prepare to bombard the city if the cyber[ERROR]s come out again. The soldiers and navies can afford to wait a day to see if this is a trick or if it was just the [ERROR]s getting trapped.

In the meantime we can get another isolation field cage for the Dungeon Fairy and go to free her.

After catching this enhanced [ERROR], we send everyone back to the ships, and bombard the area once more before asking Fleur, Violetta and Delphi in to look around in the ruins and under the debris to om nom nom on any surviving monsters, then decide to call it safe.

Looking through the grphologies, we can see that the things do not seem to be actually using the metal limbs to support their weight, but only to attack with them.

Well, that means they are quadruped with extra 'arms', sort of centaur-like, even if they keep their whole body close to the ground.

Hm, I wonder if they would move on all six limbs, if it wasn't for the metal bits. It does seem to make them pretty unstable.

Lyann looks so pretty in these shots, too. Well, its a good thing she was wearing her dancer silks and robe, or we would confiscate them...

Anyway, since its become rather late, we let the troops rest before beginning the cleanup and rebuilding tomorrow. In the meanwhole, we'll go speak with Ren and send a writen report to everyone else.

Of course, we'll go back home to Mako afterwards, so we just write to let her know we are alright. She quickly writes back telling us how happy she is that it is so... was she waiting with the journal at hand?

It'll be just a little before dusk when we arrive at the imperial capital, I guess it'll be too late to go to work with Yin, but...

Ah, are we taking Aritsu, Dawn and Lyann (and Kya is still in pet mode) with us, or just making it a dinner for two? We still need to make good on our promise with her. I would write it as a pdf, thoigh. Also, sorry I took so long to reply. Im playing Conan exiles and apparently I CANNOT pause the game in anyway, and since I got into a dungeon, I had to get out first because the door closed behind me. First time there, i didnt know

This time bring our fiancées. With what the Imperial Physician told us about bonuses for the child, let’s optimize it by making sure we have the right levels, and plan to impregnate everyone on a proper schedule.

Also, are the dragons with us? I’d like to see if Ren’s way with Pets and Beastkin also extends to dragons.
>>
>>3404754
All of our Pets that don’t have jobs are grinding XP, aren’t they?

Like Krabby and Squidward leading the other Pets, like the Gryphons and Mantis, in grinding XP.

Oh, I forgot about the Jungle Faeries, I have to go back and check on what they’re doing, or if they’re currently learning how to be a part of the Miel Hegemony under Miel. And we need to annex their home Hive for the greater glory of Her Majesty.

can i get a thread description?

Im here guys, sorry. The truth is that I've been going to the hospital for lots of tests in the mornings and then get home really tired. Today I got home relatively early, too, but I was just tired and slept for too long. Tests should be over until the 12th, for now.

What do you mean the right levels? You mean the right jobs?
>>
>>3410315
The rights levels in the right jobs. As in, making sure that they're high enough to give our kids the best bonuses.
