Speaking as a total outsider to all this...What is the state of this world? Also cecause I may or may not be fishing for nations to poach for my ongoing d&d setting.
>>
>>3414052
I don't think I fully understand what you mean by state of it, but it's a pretty average fantasy world the way I see it. Surprisingly not many wars, but the ocean is currently all emerald and "corrupted", also dealing with demons essentially as of now.

We're also trying to work out an ending (we were supposed to end it last thread but never got to it)

If you want all the details, here's all the threads archived.

Mesian Chaos Empire:
The Gods gift us their favor:
To the Far North West a Great victory for the God of Order has occurred, the other five desire the same success, and they have given us Legions.

We must now embark to West Calderia, landing in the former city of Ba'al Hooch.

Nahuz
The signal has been rung, the armies of chaos shall pour south, raiding and pillaging through Calderian Territory, and our goal shall be to open local warp portals in order to reinforce ourselves with warp born entities.

Dornian Chaos Empire:
The Warbands of Dorn have seen the sun once more, no longer is the sky a massive horrid mess but now turned back into what the ancestors spoke of.

The Tens of Dozens of thousands of cultists now rise up, ready to fight against enemies who may bring some sort of interesting purpose to their deranged and zealous lives.

Legions of Daemons Thrice and a half more in number in comparison to the force down south also join them, embarking on boats made of daemons south, to the western portion of The Dornian Theocracy, rushing south in order to destroy the soulless ones.

The King of Dorn, now ascended to a Daemon Prince of Order leads the forces south, believing himself to be now invincible.

The Great Chaos-Uwuin war has begun, and will continue to rage on for decades, until the gods either give up and return to the great game, or the Uwuins have been crippled enough for them to no longer be seen as a threat.

CoC:
The King of Cholmigaah bows to the man from the portal, and the man is crowned as the Great Ajaw of the Mesians, loyal subject of the Dwarves and Avatar of Petlin.

The Nation undergoes massive reforms, both economic and religious, transforming the nation into a bastion almost as defensible as their overlords.

Tumben-Hytza:
The great navy of the Mesians engages the dread fleet, the massive and advanced shits absorbing waves of warp lightning and Sea Daemons, saving Eastern Calderia from a painful and quick defeat.

The Swarm:
The Swarm flies east, to the empire of the fay, in order to hit an enemy when they least expect it, the war is devastating but after months of fighting and narsic support the Fay drive the bugs back, to their uncharted home in the west.

Finish the south roads, as the provinces and the trade with mesians need them.

Just because you we're involved in every single war, doesn't mean there was an unusual amount of war. The rest of the continent was mostly peaceful.

=-Epilogue-=

>Gray
The surviving Sorcerers of Calderia scatter to the four winds. The Dread Empire will rise again, as it has fallen time and again. The Fae do as they have always done, party hard in Eternia. The pit, the golden fort, even the Starless lands, all untouched by this temporary state of affairs in creation. All the while, the Lost Scholar may not last long, but it is a happy retirement, and Gray will, someday, go happily into deaths arms.

>Uwuin'taipa
Striving to convert the races of the world to the faith they deemed the one and only, they made great success all things considered and the horrors they've inflicted to those around them.
Unfortunately they were not able to hold back the tides of chaos and were beaten back, but not yet defeated, their future remains unknown.

>The Emi
Subject to many years of torment, things had finally started looking up for their people as a new leader united them under one banner and brought pride to the nation.
But still not truly free, true Emi long planned to once more fully worship their god, leading to a civil war in the south.
They continue their struggles as the faithful fight the heretical, their future is unknown but looks as though Emi will reign supreme in time.

>Dwarves
The dwarves have completed many great achievements in their time as a nation. Many trade deals, conflicts, and wealth amassed. Large quantities of ore dug and forged into glorious tools of war and industry, magnificent manufactories of ale and a forge which was used to construct the most powerful weapons the world has known.
Even severing the entire continent in half with a long continuous canal system, and adoring their snow tipped valley with expertly chiseled statues alongside their giant friends.
But to a dwarf, this all matters little, maybe to some, but most desire to do as they have done for thousands of years, to simply dig, and drink ale, which they will continue to do as they have always done until the end of time itself.

>The Eldritch
A long and painful journey lead these people from corpses to a nation nearly conquering the world and then exiled from memory shortly after. Though they had managed to seemingly forever change the seas in their image, pride can be found in that.
With Chaos threatening the world, they had mustered their strength and forged powers to fight the impending doom. Whether or not the world's nations will aid them in this struggle is yet to be seen, but still they stand ready to fight.

>The Rest
There are those nations which have not made their mark as clear as the rest of the world, but still they stand the test of time, not perishing under the immense stress and rigors of conflict and pain this world has to offer. For that they are rewarded with the continued survival of their people despite all odds, and thus remain.

>>The Kamadani Cyclopes
The Cyclopes, a species unfamiliar with the wider world and its myriad of wonders and horrors. In their relative isolation they'd managed to live as they chose, by their hobbies. Their single-mindedness on their works and crafts, under the guidance of the Seers and Primes, bore many great works both at home and abroad. Masterwork artisan goods, mirrors lenses and optics, clockwork wonders, and giant structures across the lands.
Their clockwork rail-lines spread across their own island, as well as those of their closest friends, the gorgons. A massive endeavor of clockwork and high-rise construction, the Icon of Petlin stood as the CoC's central symbol. Complex tools of war, give to the Narsic, Tarn, and Mesian peoples. The valley of statues, spreading across the Dwarven surface, built to last for ages. Even the Primes had managed to leave a legacy in the form of their Martial Arts spreading to Uwuin and Calderian peoples. And most of all the great friends they'd made along the way.

However, all of those paled in comparison to the last two acts of the Kamadani.
The creation of the Colossi, 5 great creatures of stone, gems, and metal, each of which wandered the island in an eternal vigil.
And the Exodus.
The Seers had spent their time leading the cyclopean people for ages; using extensive meditation and philosophy to overcome their natural tendencies, and focus on things bigger than themselves or their crafts. They had come to the conclusion that the world was a dangerous place. Far more hostile and overpowering than anything they themselves could hope to overcome. So, with the help of the ERS and their geomancers, the Seers decided to save their people from the horrors of the surface. Through spiritual, natural, and arcane magics, the entire Island of Kamadani began to pry itself from the ground. Higher and higher it rose, until its old coastline ran alongside a sea of clouds. Mountain tops scraping the heavens, it slowly drifted further out to sea, leaving the surface and mainland forever. Taking with it the people and culture, known as The Kamadani Cyclopes.
>>
>>3421096
Though the Island of Kamadani had left the surface, some cyclopes had been left behind. Either from their own choice or out of isolationism.

>~90% of the Cyclopes remained on Kamadani, including 75% of the Primes, and all of the Seers.
>~10% of the Cyclopes had left for the ERS, opting to spend their lives with their close friends. 25% of the Primes ended up here, the ones sent to the Colosseum to train and compete. They are more than happy here, able to challenge and face more people here than they ever would on their own island.
>100 more cyclopes were sent to the Dwarves, a final enclave of 111, on the off chance their exodus did not succeed. All various craftsmen and herdsmen, they'd spread throughout the dwarven valleys and mountaintops, tending to their crafts or herds.

And finally, a lone cyclopean girl. Barely an adult, yet having witnessed more of the world than any cyclops ever would. Aware and warned of the exodus, she chose to remain on the surface, where she would continue to walk and explore for the end of her days.

Posting for the Narsics' epilogue:

>the narsics
After the war with the dorn the narsics abated, the war was taxing on the people. The lands that they aquired where quiet, to quiet. The milatray set up bases in the cities. Any couples who wanted to have kids where offered land and governmetns support on the new lands. The lands wehre named the crooked as chaoses infulence was still present, however with some mental fortidude the rmenats did not affect the narisc people, however the food made there always tasted a bit smokey. The lands became hdeout for criminal on the outskirts for some time but they wehre evatually nullified

it took about half a century for the lands to become fully colinized, it was also dicovered that the lands with chaos in them had a habit of growing rascatha faster

the narics devolped close trade with the undead, fixing elizabeth with their parts when it was wanted
and also, it became common after a wile to see a narsic with a mechanical part
after 200 years or so the minds of the dead where put into robots
gratning a form of eternal life
also the narsics developed a tradition of going to war every 4th generation
and eternal vigalance around their borders

When the Gorgons and Nagas first arrived to this new land, they were afraid, but over time, they grew hopeful and excited about the future. It was a rocky start working the earth, but they prevailed nonetheless. Each generation left their mark for the next one to build upon.Great works of art of all types were made with passion to stand the test of time. Their accomplishments made the Gorgons and Nagas prideful, but wouldn't you be fill with pride if you knew you were part of the most cultured and civilized people? It, of course, attracted many new and strange people to vist ERS. From stout hairy people to giant lobster-like creatures, it was a parade of weirdness.

But, that pride became wounded with a devastating tsunami destroying Unoeil. It took years to rebuild and with a bloody war being waged on the mainland, it made them paranoid. Though on the edge, they took comfort with being allies and close friends with The Cyclops. Through the years, each nation exchanged ideas and technology to make each other stronger. Things were taking a turn toward the better until a plague hit ERS. The Gorgons and Nagas do not know where it came from, though it was odd it struck right after the Hard Shell people left. Luckily, medicine created from Nuge Blan was able to cure the plague, but not until it killed thousands and warped the mind of some youths.

That was the last straw to that broke ERS' patience. They could handle the ever corrupting world, but a direct attack was too much. If the world means them harm then they will leave. After years of preparations with the Cyclops' help, ERS was ready. Rituals to enchant the whole island and mass prayers to Reqin, the land of ERS levitated to the sky to met with their One-Eye friends. All that was left was small flat islands scattered throughout the sea.

From time to time, Gorgons and Nagas visited the old land to see how it is doing. Overall, ERS is happy to be free from the ghastly woes of the workd. The time for new horizons to see and places to explore as come. There's still more art to be created!

Most Gorgons/Nagas stayed in ERS;fearful of the corruption. The most brash and brave ones stayed on the world leaving about a couple tens of them wondering the land. Though they can always come back home if they signal a sky chariot. The more militant citizens decided to live with the Cyclops to better their craft. They were in the low thousands including the pegasi caretakers.

Time forever marches on, and on that march, things change. Over time, the small nation of Cafoddwol would expand over the small island it inhabited, starting with the west portion of the island before going east if the Narsics were fine with such. With each new city, another King or Queen fey solidified themselves as a major important figure in Cafoddwol, and with so many, it was no wonder what happened next. Factions of these King and Queen fey arose, they were fey who had common interests or relied on each other, with only a few remaining loyal only to Liri and remaining neutral. While no actual violent fighting would happen between these factions, they would vie for influence over each others cities and try and gain more power to themselves, Liri's attempts to stop this only really was effective in Breksos, and the few cities who remained neutral with this struggle. Still, that didn't mean the leaders of such factions were rebellious, just ambitions and trying to influence Liri to their interests, be that the interests of Pyre and preparing for a great conflict more and possibly even starting one, the interests of Caraway who wished to expand the knowledge of magic in the fey lands to a level not seen before, or simply Aurora who just wanted trade, knowledge, and the quality of life of all who lived in the lands to increase. While they had their power, and while they were able to influence the nation and hold some more sway other than just electing who would be king/queen in the event Liri actually vanished, though Liri's own word was still more powerful than theirs.

In essence, Cafoddwol grew and became what one could argue was a true stable elective feudal monarchy, but on the whole, one where all had access to some luxuries of life. One with low centralization and where most local affairs were controlled by locals rather than the capitol. In some ways, Liri was pleased with this, but in others, specifically the factions trying to influence the nation instead of just asking or trying to give advice, they weren't as happy to see. Though despite the parts she didn't like, the realm prospered, and she was glad that it did.

>>3420930

With the new age of Sev further developments, discoveries, security and prosperity arrived to the sun elves.... but it wasn t enough.

yes the realm was ever greater, stronger and magnificent.

New Order where created, like the tyrant' own great warriors of all at the service of the queden, the followers of the north comet, veterans of the eldritch war that become one of the most resiliant guards of the frontier. Then the Sotr apprentices, an elite group of mages that where students of Sotr himself. After the Eternal guard, sentinels of the most important locations ever vigilant and always ready. The wolves of sev and the rekat spears, where similar heavy cavalry orders if it wasn t for the difference of mounts.

And other orders where founded too, made by hunters and scouts not just great warriors or mages.

The honor whisperers where one of them, agile and fast they mocked any shameful enemy with their hits.

Sotr had made great steps, making Sotrania and our arts of magic far better. He made new barriers and reinforce even more the great one, ordering the construction of other towers linking them to the barrier.

Also he made something else : like he was a deity, he birthed the stonekin. The first stonekin where statues of small animals, that are now alive becoming useful for messages between him and is mages.

perhaps he will made other ones, as he seems interested in making some statues like they where guards or champions, and even who knows ... mythical creatures.

We also need to thank the narsics for their help, as their magic studies give us new insights.

Two other relevant projects for trade where the canals made one in Rekatiania and one in Cizania, for any passing ship friend of us and especially the dwarfs the price would have been lower, and they would have a a shorter route in the far more calm waters of the inner sea.
Even recognizing that is father Cor has stopped their righteous war for stopping other foul beings, Sev wanted justice to be give plenty. Justice for the queden and all the tyranny.

Chaos would have been defeated and if the undead where returned and marched once again south to war, they would have their final rest.

And lastly justice would have been given and the sun elves would have their greater triumph.
