Do you want it to be cute and romantic or an orgy? Also, let's be honest, she's not a 'virgin' virgin, since she's been with a lot of her lioness guards by now, and her relationship with her shadows is VERY different from Mako and her shadows, but she's never been with a guy, and wouldn't really know how to approach things. And it seems we're already bringing Lyann into it to begin with.

We [treestride] to the imperial garden, emerging from the Immortality Peach Tree with Lyann after us. By now, though, the guards don't even blink when we do so.

One of Ren's shadows greets us at the feet of the tree, and offers to guide us, to which we agree.

On the way, we notice that Ren's pavillion is completely lit, though there's barely any sound coming from it, and going in, we see that the entance hall is full, with dinner served, yet untouched.

A small feast is on the table, but Ren isn't there.

"Her highness is in her bedroom." - says one of the lioness guards as we step in.

"Yes, sire." - the guard replies, and looks at her partner to leave the door to her before stepping past it.

A few moments later, Ren rushes out on her bare feet and is about to cling to us before she catches herself, and instead just holds her hands in front of her for a moment before lowering them and taking a deep breath,

"Duke, you are alright..." - she says with a wide and shining smile of relief.

"The battle is done with, your highness. There were no losses." - we reply, trying to smile in as calming a manner as we can.
"...that is good." - she nods gently - "You are uninjured?"
"Well, it does hurt here..." - we start to point to our neck - "But it hurts less when I get hugged."
"...alright." - she gives us a little smile, and hugs us

We gently lift her chin and lean for a kiss, covering her soft lips with our own while gently caressing her back.

"Everyone is alright?" - she asks again

We nod and kiss her again

Holding her hands in ours, we finally make good on our promise, and kiss her in the morning for as long as she'd like.

Back from the hospital. I'm happy about them telling me to go in the evening instead of the morning. Way less traffic and ppl on the streets.

It is the early morning when we hear a rustling sound, and lift our head to look for its source, finding it to be from a pair of lioness guards coming into Ren's bedroom with a bowl of clean water and breakfast.

"Ah..."

"Ah, morning." - we greet them

They freeze as Ren stirrs gently, and cooes while stretching against us. It seems the beautiful empress is quite the light sleeper, or perhaps she's just too much of an early raiser.

I see, they would normally stay quiet to let her sleep, isn't it?

"Ah... duke..." - she looks at us, completely awake already
"My empress." - we greet her, and lean in to give her a little kiss

She answers in kind, and we kiss while the lion guards wait nearby.

After the kiss is over, she turns around slightly and asks the guards to leave the plate on the small table by the bed.

"They should be about done with preliminary analysis on the new [ERROR] samples by now." - mentions Lyann calmly from where she is standing past the little table

Eh... did she stand there all night?

But she is right about the study results. Due to time zone difference, it should be almost lunch time in Albion by now...

We wrap our arms around the beautiful young empress and kiss the nape of her neck, making her tense and blish as she remembers the night before.

She recovers quickly (from tensing up, anyway), and turns around to give us a kiss.

"Good morning, duke." - she says after the kiss
"Good morning, my empress."

The guard places the tray on the little table, and leaves.

"I am with children..." - comments Ren gently as she lays a hand on her lower belly

We are about to ask her if she's sure, when we realize that of course she's sure. The medicines of the imperial physician made sure of that.

We have children on the way, now... two girls, matter of fact.

This is an exception, as these princesses also have the Lightbringer bloodline and have access to the Lightbringer Keep. Even if they refuse the responsibility, they should be given the choice.
And that is why we should try to be a father to them.


Though I thought that we were going to wait longer, or more properly raise one specific advanced Job so that there's a large difference between it and the second-highest advanced Job, like the Imperial Physician said we should before we conceive a child?

We don't want to keep it secret, otherwise it could be viewed as sedition, but we don't want to get into a fight with Ren about tradition, either.
