An important fact to remember about the One Piece universe is that there aren't any useless Devil Fruits, just people who aren't creative enough to unlock their fruits' true potential.Having a silent Devil Fruit isn't good for direct combat, but it's amazing for stealth and infiltration. There might also be some combat uses we haven't considered yet - imagine us ripping through combat encounters, ignored by the other major fighters because they aren't even aware of us.

Honestly the problem with Pop's fruit is that it only does the one specific thing, thereby being overspecialized. If it did sound waves isntead of just "lmao silence" it'd be a much better power.

I'm not too keen on a DF personally but I can't deny that a good user can find more than one way to use his DF powers. For example, there is a chance we could use Biodad's powers to do all the shit anons thought up. Plus maybe even mixing it with haki or other techniques for special abilities.Condescending the area of effect or focusing it on a single point, make it so Flashman can move and fight completely soundless without even thinking about it, "calming" a person down, etc. Remember this IS One Piece, crazier shit has been done.

Y'know, the more I think about it the more I like the idea of getting the Calm Calm Fruit. Mostly because I'm not creative enough to make a Paramecia that fits my standards, a Zoan seems too easy of an answer and I don't like Logias, they are too boring, so simple in their mechanics that they sew complacency on every user we've seen so far.And we can make a reasonable Fiat to get the fruit in our possesion.
