Your name is Solomon and you are a servant currently serving Vivi D’roix. In the last thread, you woke up to find out that your mistress did not clean up after the bloody mess she made last night. After cleaning up her room on your day off you ran into Prince Roland, alerted to the fact that your friend Mercedes checked into the infirmary the previous night. After the events at the infirmary, Prince Roland informs you that he stalked a girl around town. He is infatuated with Hilda.

You left the academy with your friend Marcie Alabaster. You gift her the book [Fishing Holes]. While she read the book you warded off potential threats that were eyeing your friend with malicious intent. After Marcie finished reading Fishing Holes, you continued reading the romance book written by Bellabona for several hours. After reading Marcie told you her dream of wanting to shrink the world to her size, but you helped her gain a second view of how life is fair because it's unfair to everyone.

After retrieving Marcie's packages, you held hands while you were being followed from behind. The two of you dipped into a restaurant in hopes to escape your followers. Charles and Czesara were also in the said restaurant, and invited the two of you to a 'double date'. During dinner, Marcie said that you were dating her, but Czesara said some rude remarks that caused Marcie to hide in the lady's restroom. You spent some time with her inside as you spoke about your personal opinion of Czesara and how to handle people like her. Marcie thanked you for this and lots of hugs were given.

After arriving back to the academy you walked Marcie to her room to learn that she was the girl singing next door. You enter your room to finally greet your mistress after a long day. She won a fashion show but got a little upset when she found that you spent the day with another girl. Though you did leave some personal information out of your story, and other bits of information that would leave your mistress in a sour mood.

Now you are in the Fishing Holes world in your Rara form preparing to get back at the Rising Sun for stealing from Griselda and any other things you may discover.

>>“What will you be doing?”

“Just one question. What will you be doing?”

“Simple. I’ll be the lookout making sure that no one comes into the restaurant. If something happens I’ll do my best to get you out,” Griselda says.

“So, while I’m one doing the sneaky grunt work, you’ll just be standing outside. That seems unfair,” you cross your arms.

“Exactly! You just happen to be perfect for the job. No more talk get your outfit on and let’s go to the dock,” Griselda leaves the room giving you privacy.

You put on the outfit that Griselda purchased you, placing the bandana over the lower part for your face for appearance. You look at a nearby mirror looking at your form more clearly for the first time. You do some stretches and jog in place for a moment. While the face that reflects back is not the one that you are used to seeing every morning, your body movements feel natural as if you’ve always had this form. Your skin tone is white with black hair that stops to your knife-shaped ears. Touching the ears, you notice that they are sensitive and feel good when massaged. When you jump with your smaller body barely any noise is heard when you hit the ground as you don’t weigh as much or jump nearly as high as your normal self. You place the silver ring that FH left you in your item box to wear later. You step outside the room.

“Ohh you look so pretty Shrimp,” Griselda pats your head.

“Let’s just go to the docks.”

>[1/2]
>>
After a short walk, you soon arrive at the docks, there are several sailors and fishermen walking around carrying their catch for the day. There is an old woman sitting on some crates polishing belaying pins with a cloth. The tired look in her eyes and the movement of her hands show off how much work she places in her craftsmen ship.

“Grab a belaying pin from the grandma and let’s get out here. We don’t have time to waste,” Griselda says.

“Wouldn’t that be stealing?”

“If you have guts to steal from a pirate gang, you should have the guts to steal from an old woman. Get to it, I can’t charm women as easily as men,” Griselda pushes you forward towards the old woman crafting pins.

>"Whacha' makin'?

You walk up the old woman, crafting the belaying pins. Up close you notice that the woman’s face is dripping with wrinkles, her eyes only shift focus to when you walk up close staring at the woman’s craftsmanship.

“Whacha' makin'?” you say with a somewhat childish tone of voice.

“A belaying pin.”

“What are they used for?” you ask again.

“They are used to secure ropes on a ship. Is there something you needed kid?” the old woman asks.

“Can I have one?”

“No, you can’t have one. If you have money or something of equal value you can trade for it.” The old woman sighs, as she set down another pin to begin working on another. She appears to have been working all day and is stressed.

“Allow me to massage your shoulder,” you say thinking quickly.

“That’s very kind of you, but I doubt a child of your age knows how to perform a proper massage,” the old woman laughs at your suggestion to help her as she continues to work.

Ignoring the old woman you go around her back and stand up on top of crate giving you a full view of her backside. Cracking your small knuckles you begin to work on the woman’s back. The old woman yelps releasing the grip on the pin that she was working on as your hands grab her neck. First kneading into her neck before moving quickly into a shoulder Shiatsu. The old woman releases a quiet moan as you work your way around her shoulders. You help the woman release many knots that she had in her body, some were tougher than others forcing you to press down on the woman with your entire body. If there was one thing you learned as a servant is how to give a proper massage.

“I hope this will be enough to substitute the payment for one of your pins,” you say as you stop massaging the old woman.

The old woman stands up and does some stretches. She has a large smile on her face and no longer appears to be tired.

“Why do you want the pin?”

“I want to play around with it,” you say once more with a childish tone of voice.

The woman looks at you and squints her eyes. She has poor vision and is unable to see you well.

“It's hard to see without my specs, but you don’t look like one of those thieving garden gnomes. I see no harm in giving you the pin, especially after that wonderous massage. Where did you learn that at such a young age?”

“Uh…My mom taught me?” you say unsure of your response.

“Your mom is so lucky to have a child like you, to give random stranger massages. Unlike those damn garden gnomes always stealing my garbage.” The woman hands you the belaying pin.

“Shrimp hurry up!” you hear Griselda calling you from afar.

“Is that your mom calling you? Go along little shrimp, come visit grandma again if you want another pin,” the old woman says.

>Belaying Pin Acquired.

>[1/2]
>>
You say your goodbyes to the old lady, as she begins to work once more. Griselda is shaking her head disagreeing with your plan to give the woman a message. Stealing the belaying pin would have been faster she argues. Looking at the sun you have about 15 minutes before the sun dips into the ocean.

“I’m going to walk into the Rising Sun first and distract the old man with my charm, you take that time to find a good hiding spot. When the store closes you go behind the kitchen and find your way into the basement,” Griselda says.

“While I’m hiding who knows where you’re going to be standing outside and keeping watch the whole time?” you ask.

“Exactly. Let me enter first then you come in 2 minutes later.”

Griselda enters the Rising Sun, following her plan with many possible holes you wait two minutes before entering the restaurant. You place on your bandana mask to help cover your face. The Rising Sun is larger than you remember, but that is albeit to your current height. Griselda is speaking to the old man who seems to be in a trance. There are other patrons in the restaurant eating, but they pay no mind to you. You look around the restaurant for potential hiding spots that could be best served for stealth.

Near the front of the restaurant are barrels that are opened, but you are unsure what they may contain inside. Once you are inside of the barrel you’ll have to commit with the old man is holding inside. There is a glasses cabinet near the kitchen of the restaurant that contains several glass cups and plates. You may be able to hide out in there, but you run the risk of being seen. You could also attempt to enter the kitchen while the old man is still charmed. There would be several more places to hide in there as well.

Griselda taps her foot against the floor alerting your attention. You don’t have much time to choose where you must hide.

>Hide in the barrel.

Taking your chances, you opt to hide inside of the barrel near the front of the restaurant. Grabbing a nearby chair you climb on top to reach the top side of the barrel. Looking over to Griselda you can see the man slowly breaking out of her trance as Griselda is running out of things to say to him. Acting quickly, you go inside of the barrel headfirst falling down inside. Immediately you are assaulted with the smell of trash as it surrounds your head and body. Half-eaten food, banana peels, assorted liquids, and other miscellaneous trash items fill your field of vision.

“Who uses a barrel as a trash can?” you ask yourself.

A small rat scurries in the barrel with you.

“Great now there is a rat as well.”

Waiting in the trash you try to listen in on what is happening on the outside. You can hear some loud yelling and Griselda being asked to leave the restaurant. The old man is closing shop now, soon you’ll be able to escape the smelly prison that you’ve placed yourself in. As you wait you watch the rat gnaw on a banana peel, you can hear sounds of dishes being watched. Soon enough you can hear footsteps approach your location.

“Hey, Boss! Should I throw out the trash?” you hear a voice say. It’s over you’ve been caught inside of the Rising Sun’s barrel that they use as a trashcan. What possible excuse could you come up for purposely being in the trash?

“Don’t bother we got some new funds recently. Flip the switch next to the barrel, it’ll dump it into the dumpster for us,” the old man yells out.

“The what-” you don’t get to finish your sentence as you feel the barrel begin to shake as the trash begins to fall into a hole that appears underneath you. You scramble for the top of the barrel to no avail. Just like the trash, you fall into the hole as well as sliding down a track system until you just keep on falling and falling…

>[1/2]
>>
You wake up to find yourself to as what you can only assume is a garbage dump for the city. There are mountains of trash being filtered around you. Looking up you see the hole that you came from. It is impossible for you to reach it nor do you know a way to climb up. More trash falls on top of you along with the rat from earlier. Smelling like garbage you step off the mountainous amount trash around you.

Thankfully you had your belaying pin securely fashioned to your waist.
After walking around, you notice there are two exits leading outside the garbage dump. The exit on your left is freshly lit torches along the walls there may be others down that path. The other entrance is not lit with torches, but you can hear the sound of running water, it may lead to an exit to escape your situation.

>Go down the Torch Lit Path?

You choose to move down the torch lit path. As you walk, the walls become more like rock and less like the shaped stone. As you make your way deeper to wherever you are going. Once more you come to a forked road in your path, but you hear two people coming down one of the paths. Unsure what to do you run down the other path in hope that they won’t come down the other pass that you chose. You don’t think you can take on two people at once who are two-three feet taller than you. While you hide in the other path you take the chance to listen to the conversation of the two men.

“Worked sucked today, can’t believe the boss had us on guard duty today.”

“Least it is better than being on trash duty, imagine smelling like trash all day. Do you think the Rising Sun is still open?”

“Hell, if I know I haven’t seen the light of day in hours. If we stick with Total Red they’ll see how valuable we under-grunts are!”

The two men thankfully pass by down the path that you were just at. From behind you hear something growling. Turning around there is a large raccoon staring down at you. You see the raccoon bend its body backward as it lunges at you like a cat jumping on their prey. As you see the raccoon's mouth open up revealing their large teeth you duck down as the raccoon passes you overhead. The raccoon lands on all fours as it turns around begins to growl at you once more. Smelling like trash has caused the raccoon to become aggressive and think of you as a small snack. You take out your belaying pin and prepare for the raccoon to come at you again it looks like a fight. You have never been in a real fight before, especially not with a raccoon. Maybe a good strike to its head can render it unconscious.

>Successful Pass

The raccoon lunges at you once more this time aiming lower than its previous attempt. Expecting this, you step to the side instead of allowing the raccoon to pass by you again. Not giving the animal a chance to breathe after it lands back on the floor you run at the raccoon striking your belaying ping against its body sending the raccoon flying into the wall. You can hear something crack as the raccoon flops back onto the floor. It’s now making loud screeching noises that make you want to plug up your more sensitive ears. Not wanting the screeching to alert anyone who may nearby you strike the animal on its head rendering it to go unconscious. Taking a few steps away from the now unconscious raccoon you take a moment to catch your breath and fall against the opposite side of the wall. Sadly, this moment is short lived as a man runs up to the raccoon falling to his knees crying, not noticing your presence at all.

“Oh, Remmy! Speak to me! Who did this to you?”

The man turns Remmy the raccoon to its side.

“Your rib cage is broken, I’ll swear whoever did this to you will pay!” the man declares as he holds Remmy in his arms.

Not taking any chances with the man crying over his pet raccoon. You get up quickly and deliver a harsh blow to the back of the man’s head with all you’re the strength that you can muster with your small body. Thankfully it was just enough as the man falls like a bag of bricks. Looting the now unconscious man you search for anything that may help aid you in finding a way out your current location. The only things you find are raccoon food, a picture of the man and his raccoon companion, and a small folded up piece of paper. You feel somewhat guilty for causing the raccoon so much bodily harm, but it was trying to eat your face off.

Opening the paper, you find a map of a small layout of your current position. To your north is apparently a ladder that goes even further down. It is labeled with red marker ‘Authorized Total Red Members Only’. The other path of the forked road leads to a ladder leading upwards, it doesn’t indicate to where it may lead. The men who came from that path spoke about being on guard duty.

>Go down the ladder mentioned ‘Authorized Total Red Members Only’.

You choose to continue on your current path leaving the man and his raccoon friend behind. At the end of the path is an open trap door that leads even deeper underground. A sense of both danger and excitement fill your body as you begin to descend deeper and deeper. When you reach the bottom of the ladder you can no longer see the top.

Something that surprises you is how ‘modern’ the area around you is. Unlike the previous pathway, the bottom floor has good ventilation coming from somewhere. In front of the ladder room, there is a glass door is lodged a wooden doorstop. Pushing the door to the side it slides open when its pressured with some force. As you step through though you accidentally kick the wooden doorstop causing it the sliding door to close behind you. You try to push the door open the same way as before, but the sliding door doesn’t budge. Looking upwards you can see a sensor, but due to your height, it doesn’t think that you are there.

After effectively trapping yourself in some deep underground base you begin to roam the hallways, they are surprisingly very clean, but also devoid of people. Several glass doors line the hallway allowing you to see through them. A door labeled ‘Lab B’ has bright lights on that make it hard to see what is happening through the glass door. Through another door labeled ‘Break Room’ you see another Rara drinking something out of a cup. She is wearing a long white lab coat that fits her perfectly.

Underneath her lab coat is a pink shirt that says ‘#1 Rara Scientist’. She hasn't noticed your presence.

>Open the door to Lab B and peer in, but do not go in.

Stepping away from the break room door, you opt to open the door that leads into Lab B. Opening the door, you peer your head inside of the room. At first glance, the room seems normal if it wasn’t for the man whose body was glowing as bright as the sun. Using your arms as cover you can see that the man is strapped down to a bed, but he doesn’t seem to be in any discomfort.

“What are you doing?” you hear a voice say from behind you.

Turning around you see the girl from the breakroom. She has her arms crossed and has one of her eyebrows raised.

“I-I was looking at the glowing man. Is he ok being strapped down?” you ask casually trying to play off that you belong here.

Looking closer at the girl you notice that her shirt shifted colors and is now blue. Also, she smells like she hasn’t taken a shower in days.

“Please don’t try to trick me that you belong here. I have been stuck working on this floor for the past 4 days straight and I would know if someone like you worked on this floor. To answer your question, yes he is alright, I been monitoring him.”

“Like me?” you ask.

Her shirt changes to a hot pink color.

“Cute, strong appearance, and just my height… Though, you are much too young for a woman my age. Tell you what if you turn around the way that you came to promise to leave and never come back, I won’t call security. I have too much work to be bothering with you,” she says.

“…I would take that offer but the sensor to open the door can’t detect me, I think. I hit the wooden doorstop on the way in.”

The girl slaps herself in the forehead. Her shirt changes color once more from hot pink to dark orange.

“Ughh. I put that there so that I can get out when needed. I’m stuck here till security comes then. I don’t really care at this point; I just want to go back to my research. Look I can’t have an intruder walking around poking their stinky nose in my business. If you follow me, I’ll show you to the next level if you get caught on that floor it’s not my fault. There’s are some stairs somewhere down there that lead you to the surface.

>Trust the woman and follow her? (Ask her a question?)

“I guess I have no choice then. I’ll follow you.”

“Good! Walk alongside me so that I can keep my eye on you,” the girl says.

You begin to follow alongside the scientist woman. This is the first time you’ve met or seen another Rara since coming to FH’s world. Are they just not common? Is she a resident of this world? You shake these questions out of your head. As the woman begins to speak.

“What’s your name?”

“Sol. Sol Alabaster,” you say.

The woman begins to chuckle as she hears your name, before bursting out in creepy maniacal laughter. She stops moving for a moment to catch her breath.

“Was it something I said?”

“Sorry. That was rude of me, but ‘Sol Alabaster’ has to be the worst fake name I ever heard in my life. Honey, next time you decide to invade a secret base at least pick a better name,” the woman says.

“I think Sol Alabaster is a good name…What’s your name then?” you ask.

“Guess it’s only fair. You may address me as Dr. Lola,” Lola says as she begins to resume walking forward.

>[1/2]

“What is it that you do anyway?”

“I’ve been hired here as a scientist for Total Red. They want me to research a cross between scientific and magical ways to enhance their workforce. As you saw in the room with the shining man he agreed to our terms & conditions to be our test subject for a certain period if we help feed his family. He’s only strapped down because I don’t need a glowing man running around wondering why he is glowing.

“Why are you working for Total Red? You don’t seem like a bad person,” you ask.

“They pay well and because they provide me the materials, I need to conduct my research. They leave me alone to do my own business unbothered. Best of all I have my own henchman to due to my bidding. Only thing is that he has some pet raccoon that follows me around from time to time.”

“What’s with the raccoon? I’ve heard of a sailor with parrots and monkeys, but not a raccoon,” you question.

“Hell, if I know. I requested for a henchman and they send me Phil and his mangy raccoon. I think they were just trying to get rid of him. Phil does his job, but he keeps trying to take me to dinner for some reason. His definition of dinner is probably the trash dumpster because he smells just as bad as you,” Lola pinches her nose waving her other hand in front of your face.

“Maybe you should give him a chance? It doesn’t sound like you totally hate the guy. Also, you smell as well,” you say pinching your nose doing the same hand motion as Lola.

Lola raises her armpit smelling it quickly before bringing it back down.

“So I do…We’re here.”

Dr. Lola stops at a spiral staircase that goes down even further underground. Just how far underneath are you? You ask yourself.

“I don’t know why you’re here but if you're looking for something to steal, you’ll probably find it down there. Most of our valuables are on that floor I believe. I have never been there, but they are probably guarded by someone or something.

“Why are you helping me? A total stranger?” you ask.

“Why? I already told you because I want to hurry up and get back to work. If I call security to turn you in they’ll probably want me to run tests on you. I rather not test on someone of my own race especially since they’re so few of us around.”

>Ask/Tell Dr. Lola something before descending further.

“I don’t know where you are from or how long you plan on working for them, but please make sure you always have a way out. Their types aren’t the kind that would just let their assets just walk away.”

“I’m aware, but you should be worrying about yourself and not someone like me.” Lola shrugs her shoulders.

“Have you ever considered being a professor? They get funding for their research too.”

“I have, but Professors get bothered and can’t make people glow without signing waivers. It's nice of you to think about me though. Here take my lab coat to remember me by. I have several more back in the lab.” Lola takes off her lab coat handing it to you.

>Smelly Lab Coat Obtained! (A lab coat that is just your size (Rara) it smells like it hasn’t been washed in weeks)

“Thank you I guess…” you say as you begin to descend the spiral stairs deeper into Total Reds base of operations.

When you reach the bottom of the staircase thankfully the door that leads into another hallway is not a sliding door, but is just a revolving door. Dr. Lola said that this floor would more likely be more guarded than the previous floor due to it being the place where they store their valuables. Near the bottom of the staircase are some boxes that may you to move around unnoticed. You also could just wear the lab coat that you were given and pretend that you belong there?

You put on the smelly lab coat and begin to check the pocket for anything. In your left breast pocket, you find an ID with a picture of Dr. Lola. In your bottom right pocket, you find a picture of Phil & his raccoon along with a heart-shaped necklace. You walk towards the boxes finding many of them sealed or too heavy to lift. Thankfully you find one of the boxes empty and small enough for you to hide inside of.

You push the door open and move inside of the small box. Having a limited vision on what you can see inside of the box you rely on your ears to detect movement outside of your box as you begin to move around the floor. Through the hole in the box, you see several men walking around with large dogs, though the dogs seem to move their masters away from your position like the plague (93). Occasionally you have to stop moving and pretend to just be a box as those without dogs move about the hallways. After moving and stopping several times you have found yourself stuck and unable to move due to a large hulking man sitting in front of large double-sided doors(93). He is twiddling his thumbs and tapping his foot. He’s waiting for something to happen. Soon enough you hear a loud voice coming through the building.

“Ahem. Can we have all specialized personnel come to the boss’s office for our scheduled weekly meeting.”

“About god damn time. This box fucking stinks.” The large man kicks your box causing you to fall over on your side. He walks away turning the corner.

>Try to enter the double doors that the man was sitting in front of

You stay inside your box until you are sure that the coast is clear before stepping outside. With a closer look at the door, you notice that there are colorful gems embedded into the door itself. As you press your hands against the door they open ominously as you feel a warm breeze flow by you. Stepping inside you notice that floor has changed from a tiled flooring to a tatami mat. The doors slam behind you and begin to fade away into nothingness.

Bark!

Catching your attention is a “Shiba” sitting in the middle of the room. It’s staring at you and wagging its tail. It’s just staring at you as if seemingly waiting for you to a make move. Behind the Shiba are another set of double-sided doors. Looking around the room you see no other entrance/exit out of the room beside the doors behind the Shiba. The only things of interest are you and the Shiba.

You approach the Shiba slowly it stands up as you approach it. Tentatively you bring your hand over it's head an begin to pet it. Its fur is very soft and fluffy as you bring your hands around its head an body. The Shiba begins to pant and brings itself closer to your body, oddly for a dog, it doesn’t seem to mind how you smell.

"Your a cute dog aren't you? So fluffy and happy. What are you doing all the way down here by yourself?" you ask the Shiba.

The Shiba bites onto your belaying pin holding it out towards you before tilting his head. You grab the belaying pin from its mouth before throwing it in a direction. It runs over grabbing the pin and bringing it back to you again at your feet. This action is repeated several times until your arms grow tired of throwing the pin in the same direction over again.

You sit down to take a moment to rest. You’re not sure how long you’ve spent in FH’s world but it’s been longer than you have in the past. The Shiba grabs you by your shirt tossing you on its back before it begins to run toward the double doors. The doors open for the dog as if they knew he was coming. The doors reveal a long staircase that winds upwards. The Shiba begins to leap up the steps at an alarming rate, the warm breeze that you had felt before now feels like a burning sensation. After what only seemed like a few seconds you come to a sudden complete stop that causes you to fall over.

Standing up you see that you’ve been taken to a bright vibrant room. Gold, books, weapons, and gems are littered on the floor. What catches your eye is Griselda’s gem along with a book labeled “Elevation” resting on a pedestal in the middle of the room

Bark!

Turning around the Shiba is making a human-like gesture with its paw telling you to climb back on its back.

Walking towards the pedestal you gesture your hands towards the book labeled “Elevation” the title of it piques your interest.

Bark! Bark! Bark!

The Shiba takes a step towards you and begins to bark at you as you bring your reach your hands up towards the book on the pedestal. If you were to jump for the book you can be able to grab it.

Bark! Bark! Bark!

The Shiba keeps on barking at you. As these thoughts race through your mind. If you step on your tip toes you’ll be able to reach Griselda’s gem.

Bark! Bark! Bark! Grrr...

Looking at the Shiba and its constant barking you can see flames beginning to flicker around its body. Taking a careful step towards the Shiba you see it return to an upright seated position. It’s staring you waiting for you to make a move once more.

You walk up towards the Shiba and hug it around its neck. Petting it softly on the head.

“I just want to get back the gem that was taken from my friend. She’ll be mad if I don’t get it back,” you say.

The Shiba licks you profusely on your face stopping you from saying any more. Its slobbery kisses cause your face to become wet with its saliva. You feel a sudden loss of vertigo as the Shiba picks you up by its mouth causing you to hang in the air as it begins to bound up the staircase leaving the treasure behind. Some of the salivae get in your eyes causing you to close your eyes to rub it out. When opening your eyes, you find yourself outside the Rising Sun. It’s currently day time. Looking downwards there is a note on the floor along with Griselda’s gem.

Thank you for playing with me tiny fish. I was testing to see if you had bad intentions, so I showed you things that you desire. Master told me that if an intruder came that I burn them to ashes, but you are nice and not greedy. Master doesn’t give me pets or walks anymore, but he comes to feed me. The more he feeds me the smarter I get. I hope to eat more soon. Don’t come back again. I don’t want to burn someone who has petted me.

Sincerely, Haruki

P.S. If you are ever in trouble flip the coin and I’ll come to the rescue. Don’t call me for pets or walks. Emergencies only.

P.S.S. You smell.

The end of the note has a small red paw-print. The note fades away in your hand leaving Griselda’s gem along with a two-sided coin of a Shiba.

>Shiba Coin Obtained.

Looking to your right is Griselda snoring peacefully on the floor.

>Sleeping on “lookout-duty”.

“Wake up Griselda!” you yell out causing Griselda to leap from her rested position before casually leaning on the wall of the Rising Sun.

“Hey Shrimp. Mission Success! I see you got back my gem.” Griselda snatches the gem from your hands holding it up to the sun. “It looks shinier than before what did you do to it? We make a good team right?

“Yah we…I’m glad that you had a good rest, while I got back your precious gem. I thought you were supposed to be lookout or bust in there before sunrise, what happened?”

“No one was coming or walking by so I took a strategic nap. No harm was done, we got the back at those Total Red goons...I know I kind of made you do all the dirty work, I'll make it up to you. Promise.” Griselda says gesturing you to follow her as she begins walking away from the Rising Sun.

“Well, if you can teach me how to defend myself, that would help for next time. A raccoon tried to eat my face off.”

“Teach you how to fight? I could try…I’m not the best when it comes to teaching.” Griselda says as she enters the door into your headquarters.

“So, about the Rising Sun…”

“Go bathe first then you can tell me all about your adventure in the basement of a restaurant and fending off a raccoon,” Griselda says as she lays on the couch resuming her strategic nap.

Walking up to the second-floor restroom, you place the heart-shaped necklace in your item box along with anything else inside of the lab coat before tossing it aside. Slipping out of your clothing you begin to shower off the filth that you received during your visit to the trash dump. The cool water feels refreshing as it hits your body.

>[Time Skip]

After stepping out of the shower, and putting on some comfortable clothing you walk back downstairs waking up Griselda once more.

“So, as I was saying. The reason I was so smelly was that I hid inside of the trashcan which had direct access to a local trash dump. After I got out of the trash dump I found the raccoon as I said that wanted to eat me thinking I too was trash.”

“If you fell in the trash dump. How did you get my gem?” Griselda asks tossing her gem carelessly in the air.

“I’m getting to that. After I almost got eaten by the raccoon, I stumbled upon a secret underground base of Total Red. I met a woman there who was nice of enough to show me the exit without alerting security. Sadly the ‘exit’ led to an even more secure place than previously before.

Hiding in a small box I found a magical dog that I rode on that showed took me to the exit. The dog was apparently smart enough to write me a note…which I don’t have, but it did write me one! It told me it is good at burning people alive.” You recount your story to Griselda leaving out the part about the treasures that you saw not wanting to get your Siren friend excited about more shiny objects that she would probably force you to obtain.

“Yes. A magical dog that had the ability to write you a note and set people on fire. I’ll admit you had me up to that point. You’re a good storyteller though.” Griselda says not believing your story about the Shiba.

“I’m thankful that I was a Rara, I’m not sure how I would have gotten out of that base alive if I wasn’t. Though I probably would not have been able to get in as easily in the first place if I couldn't just hide wherever I wanted. I’m not sure how Marcie does it,” you say.

“Who?”

“My friend she’s taking the test soon. I’m supposed to help teach her how to fish later so that she can pass. Her normal form is a Rara like how I am now. I’d like to see her reaction when she comes to see me. Do you think you can help me throw a small welcome party for her?” you ask.

“….Another shrimp? A girl shrimp is coming here?” Griselda questions.

“Please don’t call her a shrimp, or a runt, or anything like that. She really dislikes people who call her things like that. I don’t mind that much because being called shrimp is better than being called runt. Just call her Marcie.”

Griselda grabs you and placing the back of your head in her buxom. She has a firm hold on you and doesn’t seem to be letting go.

“Tell me about Shrimp 2, and I’ll consider helping you throw a party. What do you think about her? What does she like? Does she know what a siren is?”

“Why are you freaking out?” you ask.

“I’m just curious! I want to make a meet more people! The last thing I need is more enemies.”

“Says the woman who wanted to raid a pirate gang’s base…”

>“She is a nice girl, who hates being called anything that has to do with being short such as shrimp, runt, etc.

Also, maybe don’t call me shrimp when she is around as well. She told me that she was excited to come, and I don’t want to disappoint her,” you say.

“I see that you care about her so…I’ll help you throw your welcome party for your friend Marbie.”

“Marcie*” correcting her.

“When do you plan for this party to happen?”

“I’m not sure. Maybe sometime within the next two days, but time goes by faster here…maybe in one to two visits then. For now, just try to gather supplies and keep them in here. I should be getting back to my own world though. I’ve spent a much longer time here than before.”

After being stuffed in Griselda’s buxom, and saying your goodbyes. You close your eyes and focus on going back to your own world. Opening your eyes, you see the familiar roof and staring back at you. Sitting up from on your bed you gather your bearings remembering that you are back in your normal form. Looking at the time it is currently [9:00 AM]. You overslept or did you just stay in FH’s world too long? Stepping quickly towards the door that leads into Vivi’s room you find that your mistress is missing and not in the room. Her bed isn’t made, but some of her clothes are lying on the floor still. Today is a class day for you and Vivi maybe she woke up on her own for once and went to class by herself?.... Probably not.

Walking back into your room you open your drawer. Later today you have Magical Studies class.

>Dress like a student
>Dining Hall, we should look for Vivi

You might as well dress like a student if you're going to be one later today. Today you choose to wear black clothing along with a blazer that has the Uramel Academy symbol on its left breast pocket, with matching pants. You also place on the silver ring that was given to you by FH for reasons unknown. Your stomach rumbles and you decide that there is no sense in looking for Vivi on an empty stomach.

“Maybe Vivi woke up late as well and chose to eat in the dining hall.” Talking to yourself.

Leaving Vivi’s room you make your way down the hallways towards the dining area. Along the way, you spot a poster on the wall of Hiren and Vivi holding a small trophy in their hands. While Hiren has a more formal disposition that shows off his professionalism. Vivi is more joyous and happy in the image, she is wearing a ruby red shirt along with a black skirt that you’ve never seen before.
Continuing into the dining hall you take a moment to scan the area looking for Vivi. Sadly, she doesn’t seem to be in the area.

“Will you be having a late breakfast?” a random servant says coming up to you.

“Yes. That would be nice thank you.” You reply sitting down at a nearby table.

“Where could Vivi be? Did she actually go to class or did she go somewhere else by herself?” While you are lost in your thoughts someone sits down in front of you. Looking up you see another student with a green mohawk. It's Douglas. Roland’s magical studies partner.

“I didn’t take you for the type of person to be skipping class,” Douglas says as he sits down shuffling a deck of cards.

“I don’t attend classes, except magical studies. You’re Roland’s partner, correct?”

“I normally don't attend classes either. I am the princy-s partner! Did you already forget? I sat behind you and that pipsqueak, she’s in that weird black magic club, right? You got lucky being partnered with her, your assignments will be a breeze.” Douglas says.

“You don’t have to call her a pipsqueak… What made you want to take magical studies?” you ask.

“I didn’t have a choice in the matter. My father chose my classes for me. If I didn’t take the class I would have been disowned when going back home. I’m bored…. Want to play a game of blackjack? If I win you do my homework that is given for a week. If I lose, I won’t call her pipsqueak.” Douglas says as he shuffles his deck of cards faster.

“If it’s a tie?”

“Nothing happens. Are you in?” Douglas asks smirking at you holding the deck of cards in his hands.

“I’m not interested, I just came here to eat a quick breakfast and look for someone. She doesn’t seem to be here.”

“So, you don’t care about me calling her pipsqueak?”

“I think she is stronger than to let name calling bother her. Also, if your father wanted you to take magical studies, he probably meant it with good reason. Though I don’t think a parent would go as far as disowning their child for not taking a certain class.” You say.

“Whatever.” Douglas gets up abruptly from the table causing your plate to bounce up lightly. He pockets his deck of cards and walks out of the dining hall. On the way out he bumps into a passing by a servant who nearly falls over. The servant looks at Douglas looking upset before continuing with his daily duties.

A waiter comes and brings you your late breakfast. A lamb & cheese sandwich, they don’t currently have much available due to it being past the normal breakfast time. As you bite into the sandwich the lamb doesn’t taste very good, but you eat it, nonetheless. Getting up from the table you walk out of the dining hall with your sandwich. Where do you look for Vivi?

You finish up eating your sandwich as you walk out of the doors of the academy towards the garden. On the way, you see Dr. Fredrick who just simply waves to you as he goes off in a different direction. When you enter the garden you see that there are some servants walking around tending to the various flowerbeds. As you follow the stone pathway that leads you to the garden you hear a sharp girly cry that sounds just like Vivi. Hastening your pace you reach the garden to see Vivi and Charles by the lakeside.

“Don’t scream like that Vivi! What if someone heard you?” Charles says.

“I’m sorry, I thought that the rat was going to bite me!” Vivi says.

You hide behind some bushes and watch the two interact. Charles is holding a murtlap by its belly within his arms. Rena doesn’t seem to be nearby.

“Don’t worry I won’t let it bite you. I got a good hold on it (82). It’s quite an ugly creature up close though, but I’m glad that you told me about them during breakfast. I’ve only seen pictures of them in books I’ve read. Where is Saul?” Charles asks.

“He told me he had something important to do today, so I decided to take the morning classes off. Vivi says nonchalantly. “I’m sorry that you had to hide and run away from Rena so that you can see them.”

“I believe Rena worries about me too much. Sometimes I feel that she is more the Master than the servant sometimes. Is it like that with Saul?”

“Hmm…Saul’s can be fickle when it comes to more of our personal topics, but if I tell him that I want something he’ll get it for me unless I forget. I think he appreciates the days off I’ve been giving him, he seems happier as of recently, though I think something I did yesterday made him upset."

“I’ll be careful. I promise I won’t set any beds on fire.” Vivi laughs.

“I have reservations to see a performance tomorrow in town, I asked Rena if she’d like to join but she told me to invite a lady friend instead. Want to go with me?” Charles asks.

“….Um…………” Vivi freezes up for what seems like an entire minute.

“Are you alright?”

“Y-yes. We can go see the performance together.” Vivi stuttering to get her words out normally.

“That makes me so happy to hear before my father left he told me that you would be the type of person that would like to watch something like a performance. I’ll see if I can get some tickets for Saul as well so that he can come along with his +1, but I can’t guarantee that they will be the same location.” Charles does a swinging motion with his arms and chucks the murtlap into the air as it soars into the lake.

“I’ll show you something in the garden this time,” Charles says as he leads Vivi towards another location in the garden.

You wait behind bushes until Charles and Vivi disappear. Stepping out of the bushes you dust yourself off and walk back towards the direction of the academy. You’ll have to scold Vivi later for skipping her morning classes and getting Charles to teach her how to catch a murtlap on her own…

For now, you decide to head back to the academy to try to find and speak with Rena regarding what she thinks of Vivi. Though you don’t know where you would find her, she is normally some distance away from Charles. Walking up towards the front steps of the academy you see Rena leaning against the wall smoking a cigarette she is reading a small notebook in her right hand. She looks up to you as you approach her.

“Hello, Solomon. You wouldn’t happen to see Charles pass by? I saw her run off with your mistress but didn’t feel like chasing them this early. It’s not even noon.” Rena drops her cigarette on the floor crushing it under the heel of her foot.

“I saw them in the garden. Charles was showing her some animal; they seem to be having a good time, so I let them be. What did you want to speak with me about?”

“In the garden you said? I’ll tell you about it later, I have to send Charles to class at least before its over.” Rena begins to walk forward but you block her way.

“It’s better if you tell me now, I won’t have time later. I promised Marcie that we do something together after class.” You say.

“Oh, the Alabaster girl…Let’s go inside then.” Rena turns around and enters the academy. You follow her back towards the dining hall area into the kitchen. There is a breakroom for servants to rest up inside. A few of the servant look at you as you enter inside, pointing at your uniform. Rena sits down a table far away from the other servants. Rena takes a deep breath before speaking.

“First off, I would like to apologize to you Solomon, for staring at you and your mistress. I’ll be honest I was suspecting that you were in some type of secret relationship with her. Some of your interactions that I had seen in the past I had not seen between other servants and masters. It made me far too curious. Perhaps I was starting to long when I was observing you. It wasn’t until last night when I saw your interactions with the Alabaster girl in the car. Along with what Charles told me about how he found the two of you last night that my original thoughts were uncalled for and inappropriate.”

>[1/2]
>>
“Before you say anything else let me tell you what I think about your mistress. I understand that you’ve been pressuring her to act more noble-like. I think she needs much more work in that regard, based on her actions that I’ve seen and some other servants have seen. She doesn’t have proper mannerisms that someone would expect coming from a noble family. I attended the fashion show along with some of the other servants. I’ll admit she looked rather beautiful much like Charles’s mother. My job is to help Charles to get safely through school and if possible, to find a possible spouse that his father approves of. Though I must ask, is there something that concerns you or her that I’m not aware of?”

Okay, so I figure I should explain a little what I’m trying to go for. Basically, I’m letting Rena know that we know her side job, but we’re not going to reveal it to Charles or anyone else, in the interest of getting us on equal terms, because that’s how you start becoming friends.
>>
>>3475009
I think we should keep that tidbit to ourselves for the time being. There is no reason to lay that card down right now.
I'll go for everything else though.

Are we agreeing to keep that information to ourselves? Or am I rolling a d2?

“I accept your apology. I push her to act noble-like with her action, interactions, or any other thing that she does because my life depends on it literally. Before we came to the academy her father told me that if she does anything that would view her in a ‘bad light’ to the public that he wouldn’t hesitate to put his blade to my neck.” You pause for a moment and observe Rena as you finish your sentence, but she simply has a hand on her chin. She seems to be still collecting your words.

“I admit, that in the infirmary that Vivi got a bit too…close to Charles after his incident with trying to find the field studies. I was a bit lax due to pettiness and a sense that it would be fitting the crime. It was unprofessional of me, and I feel I should apologize in turn.”

“It was unprofessional of me as well to just say that I didn’t care and allow your group to enter inside. Also, I was staring at you intensely at the time because I didn’t realize at that time that you brought him a sweet as well. I have been putting him on a strict diet of nothing containing sugar, but he doesn’t listen to me.” Rena reaches into her pocket pulling out another pack of cigarettes. You point to a no-smoking sign on the wall. She clicks her teeth and places them back in her pockets.

“I’m not sure if you are aware but Charles’s father has something to do with there being a course about how to dig a hole. It’s apparently an inside joke with the headmaster. Do you know anything about it?”

“I don’t know anything of the sort. I never heard of his father speaking about the headmaster, or anything related to hole digging. Where did you hear this from?” Rena asks.

“Vivi told me that when she had lunch with Charles and his father. She had heard it during their conversation at the table. Speaking of Vivi. While I was in the garden, I overheard Charles inviting her to some type of performance that is happening tomorrow. She agreed to go with him.”

“...He invited me to go with him, but I told him that it would better for him to invite a lady friend such as Czesara. I didn’t expect him to go and ask your mistress. Their seats are in a special spot, near some other nobles who will be attending the event. I suggest that you speak to hear about acting properly during the event. I doubt you would want any embarrassments falling upon the D’Roix household.” Rena stands up taking out a cigarette twirling it in her hands.

“I’m glad that we finally had a decent conversation. I look forward to the next. Also, Solomon good luck with the Alabaster girl. It’s not common that one can escape the chains of servitude. My family has been tied to being a servant for as long as my great grandmother could remember, though it does have its benefits at times. Its near lunchtime, I'm going to prepare myself something to eat. Rena leaves the breakroom lighting another cigarette into her mouth.

You get up from the table and decide that its time that you prepare yourself for lunch as well, but first you have to find Vivi which shouldn’t be too hard since she will probably be hungry as well after he skipping class activities in the garden. As you exit the breakroom, several of the kitchen staff are running around preparing the meals for the students as it is nearly time for them to eat. It seems lunch today will be chicken Kiev. Leaving the kitchen area you sit down at the table that Vivi and co. normally sit at. You don’t have to wait long for Vivi as she is the first one inside of the dining room. She takes notice of you and runs on over.

“Hello, Saul, did you sleep well?” Vivi ask.

“Yes, I slept quite fine thank you very much. Tell me how your garden adventure with Charles was?”

“….How did you know?”

“I overslept and for some reason, I had a sneaking suspicion that you would try to skip classes and try to meet back up with me during lunchtime. My assumption was right, though I didn’t expect you to be dragging Charles with you. Also, its 15 minutes before classes are supposed to end and you're sitting in front of me clearly not in class. Tell me what happened this morning while I was asleep?”

“I woke up to Mercedes knocking on the door this morning. She thought that I had overslept and came to fetch me to eat breakfast with her. I told her that I would just be a moment, I walked over to your room, but you were still sleeping.

I quickly put on something that was easy to wear and opened the door. Mercedes asked me where you were. I told her that you’ve been still sleeping and wouldn’t wake up. During breakfast, Charles was talking to Caren about a book of magical animals that were good in alchemy. In the book was a drawing of one of those cute little murtlaps you been getting me. That’s when I told Charles that they live nearby, he wanted to go see them.” Vivi claps her hands together smiling happily.

“That’s when I’m guessing that you convinced him to run away from Rena and skip classes to go with you to the garden?”

“Exactly! You are smarter than you look, Saul!”

“You don’t happen to know where Charles is right now, do you? He clearly didn’t come in here with you.”

“Charles and I split up after he showed me some floating bugs without wings. He told me that he had to talk to someone about getting you something.”

Mercedes walks into the dining room along with Caren & Roland. They see the two of you sitting down together. Mercedes looks like she is about to cry as you lock eyes with her.

“Are you alright Saul? Is anything strange out of the ordinary? I’m so sorry, I let my curiosity get the better of me. I didn’t think that there would be any side effects, are you alright being slightly shorter. I could have made you permanently stuck looking like Vivi for the rest of your life.” Mercedes seems to be more stressed about this than you realized. Caren has her hand on Mercedes' shoulder, trying to comfort her. Roland…Roland is just standing behind them awkwardly not sure of what is happening.

>“You don’t have to worry I’m perfectly fine. Nothing else happened.”

>You don’t have to worry, I’m perfectly fine, though there is something different about my hearing.”

“Please sit down and breathe. You don’t have to worry, I’m perfectly fine, but there is something I need to speak to you about.

Mercedes sits down to the seat next to you. Caren sits down next to Vivi. While Roland backs away slowly going to another part of the dining hall.

“Tell me what it is.” Mercedes grabs your arm.

“There is something different with my hearing. I think it’s been improved…permanently. The enhanced hearing key has completely disappeared from my body, but I believe it’s still in effect.” You say.

“What do you mean it has completely disappeared?” Mercedes asks.

“As in when I turned back to my normal self. I could still hear more than I normally could with the key. Except right now the key is no longer on my body, though I didn’t realize this until I had woken up in the morning.”

“So, you're telling me that your hearing is currently as good as the intermediate key and the effects of it are still in place. Have you tried placing on the same key again? I don’t recommend it, I imagine the noise would be too much for you…If you give me some time, I might be able to find a way to reverse it, though I can’t guarantee it will be a permanent fix.” Mercedes says.

“You don’t have to find a way to reverse it, you can if you’d like to. I’ve gotten used to it and have found it to be very useful though. The height change is no big deal I promise.” You smile at Mercedes reassuring her that you are alright. She smiles back letting go of your arm.

“When were you going to tell me, Saul?” Vivi asks.

“I was going to tell you, I just been busy with all the time off you’ve been giving me.”

“I wonder what would have happened if you got stuck as Sally, or kept on using the polyink key while Vivi had the future-self key or if she had lost it during the time that you were changed.” Caren scratches her chin smiling at the thought.

“I rather not think of such occurrences.” You shake your head at Caren as she just laughs. You look over behind you and see Roland, looking at you from a distance. You wave your hand beckoning him over to your table. Charles walks into the dining room at the same time. He is carrying a small envelope in his hands, but as he approaches the table he places it in his pocket.

“My apologies for being late. I had to speak with a few people regarding a personal matter.” Charles says as he sits down at the table next to Caren. Roland walks over as well sitting next to Mercedes. Roland is tapping his foot and trying to make eye contact with you. Though he stops this as a servant comes serving the food to the table. Today for lunch as you saw in the kitchen is “chicken Kiev”. Seasoned chicken breasts, lightly golden on both sides, and a hint of cayenne pepper over the top. As you bite into the chicken, you find the garlic delicious. Everyone else is also enjoying their meals.

>“So? How’d your meeting with Hilda go? You didn’t figuratively put your foot in your mouth, did you?”

You get up from your spot and take your plate over to two seats to sit next to Roland.

“Hey Saul, sorry I walked away awkwardly it looked like a private conversation.”

“Don’t worry about it nothing happened. How’d your meeting with Hilda go? You didn’t…figuratively put your foot in your mouth, did you?” you take another bite of your chicken.

“It was going great until my younger brother showed up,” Roland complains.

“Start from the top, did you see her at the lake as I mentioned?”

“I went to the lake and she was there along with some other random girls. When I walked up to her, the girls disappeared, and she started me down for what I believe was a few minutes. She rose her hand and pointed at me. She said that she was trying to recognize as to where she had seen me before. She had forgotten that we meet at the weapon shop when we caught the owner’s dog. She is much stronger than she looks. I asked her what her favorite weapon was, and she became much more talkative. She was going go to town again but was afraid that she would get lost or sidetracked so I went along with her.”

“Did you speak about anything on the way there?” you ask.

“She was very straightforward with me as you said. She spoke to me about the types of weapons that she liked. In the vehicle, another girl appeared out of thin air and began speaking to me. I followed your advice and focused my attention on her, she became much quieter when I did so though. I tried to talk about magic, but she didn’t seem as receptive. When we arrived in town, I was trying to catch glances at her and noticed that she was smiling at me before turning her head back around. This happened several times. When we reach the weapon store my younger brother saw me and pulled me away from her despite my protests. She waved me goodbye before entering the store. I’m not sure what to do now…Please give me some advice Saul!”

“I think you should buy her a weapon and give it to her as a sign of friendship. Based on what I’ve heard she probably doesn’t have much experience in talking with others and uses her girl making powers as an outlet to talk to people without really talking to them. I don’t know of anyone named Hilda though…” Caren takes another bite out of her meal giving Roland a thumbs up.

>"Why did your younger brother pull you away?"

>“Do you know anything regarding weaponry? If not maybe go to the blacksmithing club and ask them to teach you about weapons?”

>“Maybe Caren’s advice could work? Buying her a weapon as a sign of friendship might make her open up to you more.”

“Why did your younger brother pull you away?”

“He…Saw me walking around with her and started to lecture me about being alone with a female that we have no information on. He told me it would be bad for our image if there was a rumor that the prince was walking around with someone who has a bad reputation. I didn’t want to cause a scene in town, so we spent the day together.”

“Do you know anything regarding weaponry? If not maybe go to the blacksmithing club and ask them to teach you about weapons? I’m not saying that you should join the club, but its an option to ask them for advice.”

“I know a little bit about weapons when I was younger my father’s right-hand man taught me how to swing a sword properly. Along with a couple of other techniques. I’ll take your advice regarding visiting the blacksmithing club, maybe they can tell me about other types of axes. She mentioned she likes axes as her favorite weapon.” Charles says.

“Like to cut down a tree?” Caren asks.

“No. Like a double-sided ax with an edge on both sides. I wonder if she knows how to fight, I’d like to spare with her.” Rolands shakes his hands.

“I just had a thought…Is it possible to enchant a weapon? That might make her a bit more interested.”

“It’s possible I’ve seen it done before, but I don’t know how. I’ll ask today in class in Mrs. Alabaster’s class today.”

Mercedes breaks from her conversation with Vivi turning her head towards you and Roland.

“That would be a very good question that I’ll answer today in class. Just ask after her lecture when we ask to answer any questions. She may be able to explain it better than me. Speaking of which why don’t you two walk to class now and get there a few minutes early. Mrs. Alabaster likes to see students arriving in her class eager to learn.” Mercedes happily says.

“That sounds like a good idea.” Roland takes another bite of his chicken before standing up. Mercedes and Vivi clean up their faces before standing up as well. Charles is still very focused on eating every bit of his meal.

“Don’t worry about Vivi, Saul. I’ll see to it that she makes it to nobility etiquette class. You shouldn’t be skipping your classes they are important for you. I’m the teacher assistant, it's ok for me to be a little late.” Mercedes says.

“You sound like Saul,” Vivi says.

“Thank you, Mercedes.” You say as Mercedes leads Vivi outside of the dining hall. Caren is following them. Charles stands up from the table finishing his chicken, he had ordered for a second serving while you were speaking with Roland.

“That was a good meal…Where did everyone else go?” Charles asks.

“They went to class, which means we should be going as well,” Roland says.

“One moment, I must give Saul this before its too late. The Chicken Kiev was absolutely amazing that I nearly had forgotten.”

Charles takes out a small envelope out of his pockets.

“I recently invited Vivi to see a performance in town tomorrow. I pulled some strings and convinced someone to give me their tickets to see the event. The tickets were sold out so I wasn’t able to buy them myself. I’ll be honest your seats aren’t the best but consider it as a thank you for dinner last night. It's a formal occasion so dress well. I’m glad that I had someone else to speak with while I was with Czesara. Maybe you can invite your special friend. I should get going I don’t want a repeat as to what happened before.” Charles pats you on the shoulder before leaving the dining room.

>Performance Tickets Obtained x2

The tickets are surrounded by a silver border. There is a small trophy along with the address of the location, printed on the ticket. You and Roland begin walking towards Magical Studies.

“Hey, Saul. Do you think Hilda would like to go see that performance?”

>“She might, I’m not sure what the performance will be about though the tickets don’t say much about it and I forgot to ask.” (Give Roland your tickets)

>“I’m not sure what type of performance it is. She might find it boring? (Keep your tickets)

“I’m not sure if Hilda is the type that’d like to dress up all pretty, sit still, and watch something for a few hours. Charles said that it was a formal event. What do you think? You’ve been with her longer than I have.”

“I…I can’t say for sure. I also don’t think she is the type of person who would want to dress up fancy. You can keep the tickets and invite whoever you’d like. I’ll visit the blacksmithing club after my classes are over and ask them for advice like you suggested.” Roland shrugs his shoulders as the two of you enter the magical studies classroom. Mrs. Alabaster is sitting down at her desk looking over a notebook. She looks up noticing the two of you walk in. She smiles and writes something down in her book.

The classroom is still fairly empty, looking around the room there are a few students in random spots waiting for class to start. On the far side of the classroom is Marcie looking outside the window, she is twirling a small pencil in her hands. She is humming to herself again. You and Roland walk over to her, but she seems to be lost in her own thoughts. You take your seat next to her.

“Hello, Marcie,” Roland says.

Marcie turns around and slightly jumps up breaking out of her train of thoughts.

“Hi, Roland and Saul when did you get here?”

“Just now we were eating lunch together, so we walked here together. How long have you been here?” Roland asks.

“I have been here for about an hour now. I normally eat lunch with Hiren, but he was speaking to the knitting club about some contest that he recently participated in. So, I ate alone here in class.” Marcie says.

“Why don’t you come to the dining hall to eat lunch with us instead of eating alone?” Roland asks.

“It somewhat noisy inside the dining hall, and I prefer to eat in peace. Though next time I think that I’m eating alone I’ll try to come to the dining hall or maybe one of you two can come and eat with me…Hey Saul, after class where do you want to go for our lesson? I want to read the next section of the book.” Marcie asks.

It's quieter, and probably safer too until we get the vial thing sorted out. A rara probably is probably very recognizable in these parts.
