I Would like to ask if you're ABSOLUTELY SURE. Although almost all of the other things in Character Creation with little to no resistance, such as letting warfare fall by the wayside. If you try to change this, however, there will be MASSIVE BACKLASH FROM THE POPULACE. what you will actually gain out of this is:

I go to the Hearth, which still has charcoal in the bin somehow, taking both of the pokers and heading to the Forges. Magnus and Mary follow, being very curious as to what in the world I am doing.

What I was doing, was Forging. The Forges of Arcturia were famous and infamous for spouting out magical weapons quickly and on the cheap.

I Smelted the pokers down into a bar in a brazier of elemental fire, making sure to leave it in the coals so as to allow it to become steel. After it was turned into, well steel, I hammer the bar into a sword, and quench it in not just a barrel of oil, but a cauldron of elemental Icewater. I heat and Quench the blade 6 more times, on the 4th carving runes of frost into the blade on the edge (leaving out just a little of the shielding on purpose). On the final quenching, I carve the name 'Icesunderer' in the hilt, and wrap some extra fine and semi-pointed chainmail (known as gripmail) for the grip, all of the leather having rotted in storage.

Welp, You've done it. You've broken him. I shuffled off all of the party to the guest rooms, miraculously still mostly intact. Percy however, has been sitting there on the steps to the throne either dumbfounded or holding his head in his hands mumbling incoherently. I pluck the crown off of his head and replace it upon mine, giving him a shake.

"I believe you..........." He mumbles, barely audible.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" I say somewhat mockingly

"I BELIEVE YOU!" He screams, quite loudly and hoarsely. It would have hurt if I still properly had ears.

"Will you serve?"

"Yes, My Liege."

>Check out the armory/treasury? Maybe make some gear? Being a Man of Iron is usually protection enough but it never hurts to be prepared, and taking the scepter is a bit unseemly and impractical, although I need the crown in the vicinity to continue talking to you lot. It might also help as a disguise of sorts, as my ghostly visage can deeply unsettle the average man.
