There was a very old pre-war TV show were a man, used to say “To the Moon!” every time his wife annoyed him, implying he would slap her so hard that she would go flying all the way up there. Eh, you guess that violence has always been funny, years ago you found a couple of episodes of that show on an old holotape and chuckled at them, but now that you are literally on the moon, you don’t find it funny at all.

You have been forcefully sent there by the Enclave, and have no means of going back. The Enclave considers the planet Earth a lost cause and plans to head to the stars in the hope of finding a new habitable world and starting anew. For that, they need you. You have been a thorn in their plans for a while, a complete pain in the ass, but still, you are useful to them. Thanks to your almost superhuman intelligence and skill with science and mechanics they deemed you “worthy” of a second chance.

The Enclave’s rocket can fly across the vacuum of space, but the sole feat of leaving Earth’s atmosphere will burn most of their fuel reserves. To compensate this they plan to do a stop before entering into the void. Their rocketship, the Terra-Nova, will first land on the Moon to refuel and fill their massive deposits with Helium-3, which is a natural fuel found deep inside the moon. After refueling, they will finally leave, forever.

At first, the Enclave hoped to do it without your help, using robots that would automatically refuel the ship. But for some reason, some kind of electromagnetic barrier stops them, and that’s why they have sent you. That, and also because they hate you.
>>
>>3816617

To further instigate you into helping them, they threatened you with releasing what they have called the Lovebug, a genetically modified mosquito capable of infecting humans, ghouls, psykers and even super-mutants and drastically altering their brain chemistry, turning them into sex zombies of some kind, people that can only think of engaging in intercourse and will cease to eat, sleep, rest or drink. You haven’t seen the mosquito in action, but if it is real, the entire world is in danger.

After reaching the moon, you traveled to a nearby underground mine and discovered a group of religious Ghouls named the Bright Brotherhood, they came from Earth-like you did, seeking a world of healing light or whatever metaphorical allegory that might mean, possibly something to do with radiation, because you know, ghouls. They crashed landed and shortly after the moon broke apart.

Lunanova, the only human settlement on the Moon believed Earth to be barren and nothing else but a radioactive hellscape, and when somebody from Earth came and shortly after the Moon cracked open they freaked over and believed the Ghouls to be warring mutant abominations and became hostile to them, forcing the Bright Brotherhood to hide on the mine.

After the introduction, Jason Bright, the leader of the Bright Brotherhood informed you that there were some demons deep in the mines, they couldn’t leave the mines and they couldn’t go deeper, they were trapped and unable to repair their rockets. The Ghouls were not a fighting force, most of them were ferals and whatever was down there, could turn them into mincemeat. You agreed to help them and went down, to find…and alien mothership.
>>
>>3816620

The aliens, also known as Zetans, did not crash on the moon, nor they have been down there forever, how did they appear then? Well, the answer to that question came to you in the form of a Brotherhood of Steel knight. You found him cryogenically frozen inside of a pod deep inside the mothership, you rescued him and after some small talk, he spilled the beans. The mothership had been around Earth until not long ago. The Brotherhood of Steel found a teleporter to access it and created a small secret splinter group to storm and clean it out of aliens. They succeeded and sometime later they started to experiment with the alien tech, and somehow managed to create a teleporting bridge between this mothership, and another one far away. From that moment on, alien soldiers and robots started to teleport and pour in, becoming way too much for the Brotherhood of Steel to fight.

Desperate, they tried to teleport the entire mothership far away to separate the aliens from Earth and keeping it safe. Their lack of knowledge made them fail, and instead lodged the alien ship deep inside the moon. The sudden and forceful teleportation was the real reason behind the moon cracking open. The Brotherhood kept this a secret and erased as many records of it happening as it could.

The teleportation also caused another thing, a strange phenomenon, strange even to the aliens, a dimensional rift. The faraway aliens still had a connection with this mothership, and could freely teleport inside. They discovered the dimensional rift and headed inside, sending their soldiers and robots to gather people from the other side to experiment on and turn into genetic bio-weapons.
>>
>>3816622

You fought them tooth and nail and ultimately, managed to destroy the energy shields that kept the dimensional rift stable, after doing so, the rift started to grow in size and ultimately swallowed everybody that was inside, before collapsing and disappearing forever. You too were taken by it, but only for a short while, you appeared in a strange and dark place, a warrior called you Daedra prince and then fell dead, you simply shrugged, grabbed a couple of items and left before ending trapped in there.

Afterward you told Jason about the Demons being gone and traveled with him to Lunanova, in there they were surprised by you, a human. Because, as mentioned before, they believed Earth humans to be dead, and that only Ghouls and other mutants remained. They welcomed you all to the city and you talked with the president and her military and scientific advisers, told them all about the mothership, the real reason as of why the moon is cracked open and your and the Bright Brotherhood’s reasons to be on the Moon.

Natalya, the president of Lunanova agreed to help you two, but only if you helped her back. As the president of the only colony of humans on the moon, she wants the best for her city and her people, so she created a small group of scientists, workers, and guardsmen to travel with you into the mothership and learn of its secrets and use its resources to improve the city. Haricer, the city’s scientific leader also asked you to help improve the populations poor gene-pool, you told him that the aliens had thousands of prisoners in the cryo-pods but he was more thinking about you “actively participating” in improving their bloodlines, you agree and since then, you have been getting hit on pretty hard, harder than ever in your life. It’s kind of a pity though, because these moon people have transparent skins, completely black eyes, no hair at all and are tall and lanky looking, so they kinda freak you out and if you knock up one of them you will be able to see your own child growing up inside her see-through womb. But hey, it’s all for the good of science! Right? Right…?
>>
>>3816627

A couple of weeks have passed since you made your presence know in the city and you started working on understanding the mothership’s technology and improving their gene-pool. Most of the resources and technology obviously go to them, but as a method of payment they allow you to keep part of what they find; they have also given you a small room and a workshop to tinker in. In these couple of weeks, you have managed to gather and keep enough resources to mod your rocketbike and weapons.

>Choose one for each!

ROCKETBIKE:
>Teleportation Matrix: Allows the Rocketship to teleport small distances, it can be only used 3 times per day, then it needs to cool down.
>Mortis Stellaris: The Rocketbike leaves behind a laser trail, everything this trail touches will burn and turn into ashes, the trails dissipates after a short while.
>Quantum Engine: No need to refuel the engine, ever.

POWER-ARMOR:
>Energetic Net: Captures 50% of damage from energy projectiles and turns it back into Fusion Core charge.
>Reactive Force-Spikes: You are surrounded by a small energy field that reacts to melee and unarmed attacks by forming energy spikes around you, heavily wounding your enemies.
>Chronometer: Distorts time for a short while, making everything run slow around you while you move at regular speed, to the outsiders, it will look as if you are moving blindly fast.
>Dwarven Inspiration: Using teachings from the book that you found in that weird place you manage to upgrade your power armor, adding an extra 10 of Dam resistance to all damage types. It also changes its appearance, giving it brass and bronze accents.
>>
>>3816630

FLAMER PISTOL:
>Rocket Fuel deposit: Gives it blue flames and higher damage. It will also ignore low and medium armor.
>Incinerator Module: Instead of launching flames it will instead shoot balls of fire, capable of flying much further.
>Plasma Linker: Adds a plasma cartridge and connects it to the flamer, making it shoot a mix of orange chemical and green plasma fire. Does much more damage, but does not ignore armor.
>Dwarven Inspiration: Using teachings from the book that you found in that weird place you manage to upgrade your weapon, adding an extra dice of damage. It also changes its appearance, giving it brass and bronze accents.

LASER PISTOL:
>Alientech: Adds several pieces of alien technology to the pistol, creating a frankengun of different worlds. Increases the damage a lot but requires higher maintenance and a time to cool down after reloading the gun.
>Portable energy shield: Adds a specially modified alien inertia-shield as a bayonet to the gun, this will create a circular shield around the gun’s barrel, protecting you while you shoot.
>Mesmetron module: Allows the gun to change from shooting lasers to launching mesmetron blasts, these blasts will mesmerize and stunt people allowing for more pacifists approaches.
>Dwarven Inspiration: Using teachings from the book that you found in that weird place you manage to upgrade your weapon, adding an extra dice of damage. It also changes its appearance, giving it brass and bronze accents.
>>
>>3816632

LASER CANNON
>Heatblast mode: Allows the gun to change to a shotgun-like blast that will incinerate and melt everything in small cone in front of the gun. Almost nobody will be able to survive an attack like this and it is perfect to open holes in walls or other defenses.
>Deathray transformation. Using technology from the mothership’s deathray you can upgrade your laser cannon, even more, turning it into a shoulder-mounted weapon of mass destruction that burns single fusion cores with each shot. Completely unstoppable.
>Supercooled cryo-build: By cryogenically cooling the weapon you are able to make the Fusion-Cells last twice, allowing you to shoot twice before needing to reload without losing any firepower.
>Dwarven Inspiration: Using teachings from the book that you found in that weird place you manage to upgrade your weapon, adding an extra dice of damage. It also changes its appearance, giving it brass and bronze accents.

TESLA GAUNTLETS:
>Lighting Claws: Upgrades in the gauntlet’s circuitry now allows you to attack twice as fast, letting you do two attacks per turn.
>Power-Adapter: Allows you to capture and transform energy from machines, robots, vehicles, power-armors, fusion cells or cores and use it to power and recharge your own gear.
>Overcharged circuits: Sends so much electric energy across your Tesla gauntlets that they start to burn with intensity, adding fire damage to your attacks.
>Dwarven Inspiration: Using teachings from the book that you found in that weird place you manage to upgrade your weapon, adding an extra dice of damage. It also changes its appearance, giving it brass and bronze accents.

The Lunanovans don't work on Sundays. These days most of the city's shops are closed and only the hospitals, restaurants and cafés are open, during these days the citizens usually rest, go to a temple to pray on their ancestors or whatever belief they might have, go to the parks to stroll and do tai-chi or go to the lunar plains to ride and have races. Since you stopped the alien menace the strange electromagnetic noises that emanated from the mothership ceased, and music has become even more popular, with low gravity dances and balls being organized every few days.

You have been invited to several dates, races or other activities during the few Sundays that you have spent on the moon, and while you have partaken in several of them today will be a day dedicated entirely to you and your gear.

Since the work in cataloging and studying the alien mothership is going faster than expected Natalya, the president of Lunanova, has agreed to help you and the Bright Brotherhood during the next week. Luckily for you, your tasks are pretty similar.

You need to get the station on and running so the Enclave can finally stop in there, refuel and The Bright Brotherhood needs help moving their rockets to the refueling station to then engage in repairs and refueling so they can finally leave the moon and reach whatever world they aim towards.

Currently, since the rocket refueling station served of no real use to the Lunanovans they turned it into one of their Little Edens. They simply filled the place with as much fertile soil as they could, planted different seeds and let the Gardenbots do their thing until the place was filled to the brim with plant life, and then, from to time they simply drove to these Little Edens to forage and gather whatever edible berries, fruits, and vegetables grew.
>>

It's a good thing that gravity on the moon is so low, pulling the REPCONN rocket from the moon soil takes only a couple of hours and four mining trucks, if this were Earth, it would have taken weeks of work. Despite creating rockets with truly abortive designs REPCONN can be proud of its technology and craft because pretty much all of the rocket is in one piece. With the use of several tools you and several engineers manage to separate the rockets in two parts and transport them to the refueling station.

After driving to the place along with the Bright Brotherhood members and the Lunanovan engineers you start to clean the floors, walls, and ceiling of greener. Due to the high humidity of the place most areas, internal mechanisms, and locks are now slightly rusty, but the computers and most circuits are still in a pretty good condition. Together you all restore the place to its former glory and reveal several faded drawings and posters in the walls, images of Earth with the message "Fight for her", ragged remains of the American flag and the flags of the different American states, including Hawaii. when you see it, you smile, despite not being your place of birth you feel like you have found a home in there, the Rustbucket and its crew are now your family, god you miss the place so much. Without a second thought, you grab the tattered Hawaiian flag and tie it around your T-45 helmet, creating a shemagh of some kind.

Once the cleaning and repairing of the station are over Jason approaches you.

"This might be the last time we talk, wanderer. I'm no mind reader, but I know what you are thinking about, for someone as skillful as you sabotaging the fuel mix would be incredibly easy. Your enemies would come, refuel, and then explode in a blaze of righteous fire. But that would trap you here, it would damage the station and I doubt that the Lunanovans have the resources to rebuild it to a working condition, even with the Mothership's metals and other resources. You would be trapped here, forever, I don't doubt that these people will accept you into their tribe and their flock, they already do... but are you willing to do such a thing? It is clear that your heart is back on Hawaii...Ponder about it Dillinger, mediate as much as you need."

You think about his words and nod softly.

>Let the Bright Brotherhood go first, then sabotage the fuel to kill the Enclave. Spend the rest of your days on the Moon.
>Do not sabotage it, despite being very slim, fulfilling your mission might be your only chance at returning home.
>Other option, write in.
>>
>>3816969
>we still have some time, try to see if you can't mod your rocketbike enough to take you back to Hawaii

>>Let the Bright Brotherhood go first, then sabotage the fuel to kill the Enclave. Work on the alien technology to make a Teleporter back to Earth.
Fuck it, I'm not letting the Enclave spread their cancer all across the universe and found the Imperium of Man or some shit. And if the Teleporter idea doesn't work, it'll be a small sacrifice for the greater good. Or revenge.
>>
>>3816969
>We still have some time, try to see if you can't mod your rocketbike enough to take you back to Hawaii

"Mmh... what if I used the rocketbike to fly back to Earth?" You think to yourself.

The journey in took you three days, and that was a real rocket, with massive engines. You are pretty sure that your rocketbike could leave the moon's atmosphere, but the journey back might take not days, but weeks. And how are you going to drink and eat while in there? It's not like you can remove your helmet and take a bite at whatever snack you might carry with you.

"No, while cool as hell, this option won't work, a shame really." You whisper to yourself.

>Sorry, choose another option.

Ah but what if we used the Alien cryo-tech to enable us to slumber for the journey? We've upgraded it with a auto-pilot function thanks to the eyebot so it shouldn't be impossible for it to take us back to earth or into a near earth orbit while we are sustained by the tech.

Oh yeah, we could try that. But...we left our eyebot back on Earth. We could create another sure, but even if we had one, it would have limited control over the bike, as it is said in the past thread, pic related. It is a co-pilot, not an auto-pilot, it aids you by driving straight so you can focus on shooting while riding, it gives a +10 to combat and pilot related skill while driving, nothing else.

So, would you really allow yourself to cryo-freeze yourself and give a robot with barely any intelligence to pilot you from the Moon to Earth?

I would say our chances of landing in the middle of the sea or anywhere else but Hawaii are over 90%, but if you feel confident...roll a d12

>Let the Bright Brotherhood go first, then sabotage the fuel to kill the Enclave. Work on the alien technology to make a Teleporter back to Earth.
>Use your rocketbike to return to Earth, work on a robot to function as a pilot and use the Alien cryo-tech to enable us to slumber for the journey.

You head towards Jason Bright and softly tap his shoulder.

"How important is faith for you, Jason?" You ask.

"Well, very. Faith is what has driven us to come here, and what will impulse us further. Faith is the grease of the human soul. Many are good simply because they have faith in an ever observing god or perhaps in a better afterlife, and while that's not entirely honest, it helps making the world a better place. Look at us, only three of us remain nonferal, but we still believe that when we reach the Great Beyond our bodies and minds will be repaired. That's our faith, what's yours?"

"I believe in science. I always do, I always did, and I will always continue believing in science." You reply.

The glowing one nods softly.

"A powerful faith, while I am more spiritual than scientific I have to agree that without science our journey would not have been possible. What does your faith in science tell you?"

"I will indeed sabotage their fuel, the Enclave is cancer that needs eradication, not to be spread everywhere. I will not stay landlocked here, I will return home, and I think I know how to do it. That's my faith."

"Then hold to it with all your might wanderer. May I know what do you exactly plan to do?”

“You and your flock will leave first, and then I will change the fuel formula to make it unstable and unsafe. The Enclave will come, fill their massive deposits with liquid death and the moment they turn on their engines they will blow out and be instantly vaporized. I will help with the refueling, but I will be pretty far by the moment they explode. I will then modify my rocketbike and add a small cryo-pod from the alien mothership that will allow me to travel from the Moon to Earth while completely frozen, to me it will be completely instantaneous, and no time will ever pass.”

Jason nods softly, his glowing eyes looking at the distance but not focusing on anything, in particular, he’s trying to imagine the process, but failing to completely do so.

“I also plan to gather enough teleportation technology to build a teleportation beacon that will allow me to freely move between the moon and Hawaii.”
>>
>>3817828

“I did not know of this teleporter beacons, do you think we could have one too? It would be a great help to our cause if we could return to Earth to bring more of our flock into the Great Beyond.”

“Sure… but honestly, the beacons are nothing but a theory so far. I’m pretty sure the Zetans had the tech but perhaps there isn’t any blueprint or built model around. I’m only theorizing that they exist because the Brotherhood of Steel managed to send several of their Scribes and Knights into the mothership, and I doubt that they used some kind of tractor beam to gather their people one by one.”

Over the following weeks, you work hard repairing the two REPCONN Rockets and refueling them. It takes a long time because there aren’t compatible pieces but in the end you and the Lunanovan engineers manage to repair them to working condition. You also tell about the teleporting beacons to the scientists that are working on the Mothership and together you all focus on creating such device, thankfully for you, their teleportation tech is pretty common and widespread, with teleportation bases found virtually in every room. The final results are not pretty, the first two beacons look like a clunky machine composed of repurposed metal, wires everywhere, several nixie tubes and tesla coils coming out randomly and several strange glowing cables and bits that were clearly alien in origin, all turned into a rough sphere and mounted over a tripod.

But it works. By touching the sphere you will be instantly moved to the other side, regardless of distance or barriers between the two. The object is kind of radioactive, but it is awesome. You build one for the moon, one for the Great Beyond and two for Earth.

The day the ghouls have to leave a great celebration is taken place. Lunanova prides itself on being a peaceful city, it was created by the remnants of soldiers, scientists and workers of several nations that were stationed on the moon and despite several of these nations being at war before the nuclear fallout they left their differences behind and united together and founded a massive city. The moment the ghouls reached the moon became the first moment in the city’s recorded history that they had an enemy, and now that enemy had become a friend, a friend that needed help and a friend that had been able to solve its problems thanks to the help of the people of Lunanova. In the celebration, you along with Jason Bright and his two nonferal ghouls were invited to a great party, feast, and dance. Natalya finally declared that in honor of these guests Jason would be given the chance of recording all of the tenants, laws, and lore behind his faith in the great beyond and that after it is done everything will be printed and turned into a Bible and gifted to them before they leave, and another copy is done for their public library. Thanks to their advanced tech you truly believe that they might be able to do it in a matter of hours.
>>
>>3817832

That night you celebrate and receive a toast and several kind words from Jason. You then drink, joke, eat and get laid with a couple of cute and nerdy moongirls. Honestly, you are starting to get used to them, and even start finding several ones attractive.

Three days later everything is ready for them to leave. The rockets are in position, refueled, repaired, and Jason and his flock have been properly honored. They all get in and get ready to fly into the stars. Most of the citizens have come to see and drove to the nearby hillsides or rocks to observe from their moon buggies. You too are observing from a distance, sitting in your recently modified rocket-bike and with your hands trembling in nervousness. This cannot fail now.

FIRE!

Suddenly the two rockets start to ascend, leaving behind a shockwave of moon dust. You can see several people nearby cheering and jumping high in celebration; some have even brought fireworks and are launching them high. Tonight there will be another party, and another chance to get laid, drunk and high. You never considered yourself a high roller, but you could start getting used to it.

The next day after the launch you wake up completely naked in a bed surrounded by naked women whose ages range from eighteen to forty-five approximately. Jesus what a night…and you can’t remember anything.

You have contacted with the Enclave using the terminal in the barrack that they originally dropped you in. You have told them about the refueling station being repaired and functioning and they quickly responded by saying that they regained control of the station's robots and checked that everything was indeed repaired and then informed you that they would be leaving as soon as possible and that their rocket would reach in four days.

Four…long days.

Days have been kind of a blurry to you as of late. All you have done has been working hard, researching, studying, experimenting and then during your free time going to parties and getting laid. These days have been really interesting and fun for you but now, now you know that the Enclave will return, and that makes you nervous.

You work on installing a cryo-pod on your rocketbike to return to Earth, it is a crazy plan, but if you truly destroy them and the refueling installation then it will be your only chance at returning home.

There’s no going back now, it’s now or never. One night, during your free time you decide to manipulate the fuel mixture, making it extremely reactive to oxygen, highly volatile and completely unstable when under high pressures. Now its time to wait and see the fireworks.
>>
>>3817841

After a long wait the time finally comes, the robots around have gotten everything ready, the fuel deposits are filled to the brim, you are nervous, your hands shaking slightly. You have noticed that since you came here you have been losing weight and muscle, the low gravity and poor yet clean food around is affecting you like it affects the Moonmen. Several civilians, engineers, guards, and even Natalya and her advisers have come to see the rocket land, they even have brought the original Apollo 1 flag for them to have in case they ever descend from the ship. You have told them several times that these are bad people, but they won’t hear, to them this event will be history and want to be witness of it. Like with Jason they are once more stationed around with their Moon buggies.

The moment they should arrive comes, and like a well-oiled clock they appear just in time. First, they are nothing but a small dot in the sky, then a fireball that slowly takes shape and form before becoming a massive rocket, bigger than anyone on the moon has ever seen.

Slowly, the rocket lands into position and the moment it is on the floor several of the local Mr.Handy and Eyebots activate automatically and proceed to move several fuel tubes to their deposits, filling them with the tainted fuel.

“You better leave, everybody should leave…please!” You say to Natalya over a private radiofrequency.

She simply cuts the communication with you and watches as the ship gets fuller and fuller with deadly fuel. When the deposits are finally full you drive away to not be blinded by the explosion, but instead…you see and hear nothing.
>>
>>3817844

Puzzled, you turn around and see explosions, yes, but smaller ones. Red green and blue projectiles flying around wildly, there is a firefight down there.

“Thought you could fool us?” Says a voice-over radio chat. It’s Sebastian Fox, the leader of the Enclave.

“The moment you destroyed the Zetan shields that held the dimensional tear the electromagnetic interference disappeared, and all our cameras and listening devices became functional over again. We have witnessed and heard you talking with these horrible ghouls and freaky moon people. By the love of god you even had sex with them… We know that you attempted to sabotage us, you spoke about it with that abominable Glowing Ghoul… Worry not, we are already emptying our deposits and changing them for real rocket fuel. To be honest, we were surprised to discover people on the moon, well, they can barely be called people, I mean look at them! Anyway… we don’t want any loose end, Lovebug is already spreading its lovely bite across the wastes, and sadly such useful bio-weapon isn’t of much help here, so we will have to do things the old fashioned way. With laser and plasma fire.”

CRIT FAILURE
>Ride there with your rocketbike and attempt to turn on the rocket's engines before the fuel has been completely exchanged, explode it and send everything to hell.
FAILURE

Pushing the pedal to the metal you drive towards the refueling station while leaving behind a trail of moondust, your engines rumbling loud and heavily as you strain them to reach the place as fast as possible.

Even before reaching they start shooting you, green spheres of hyper-heated plasma and burning spears of light piercing the void in an attempt at taking you down. The Enclave are wearing Advanced X-01 and X-02 Power-armors, most of the civilians only wear spacesuits that offer no protection against projectiles. The guards are wearing t-51 power-armors, and their suits have been repaired and patched over these two hundred years, they simply cannot stand a chance.

The Enclave soldiers are broadcasting across all of the channels, not even worrying about hiding their plans and tactics, in fact, they are doing this on purpose, chanting old pre-war military songs as they mow down the Lunanovans in joyful unison.

"Praise the lord! And pass the ammunition!" They all sing together.

"Vasquez!" Screams Fox's voice over the radio. "Deal with the wastelander. Prove your worth."

Vasquez? Where did you hear that name before? Suddenly, a man in a different Power-Armor ascends to the skies with a jetpack and then falls down in front of you while smashing the floor with a massive Jet-hammer that is constantly spewing flames and sparks. He is wearing a t-51 armor...decorated with the symbols and insignias of the Brotherhood of Steel, all crossed with red blood.
>>
>>3819260

You know this man, this treacherous man, Edward Vasquez is…was the leader of the Brotherhood of Steel chapter stationed in Hawaii. Before sending you to the moon Sebastian mentioned having a mole, someone who spied and worked for them, someone who told them about you coming to the underground laboratory… you never expected him to be the traitor.

“Why are you doing this?” You yell as you suddenly stop your bike and get out with your weapons ready.

He doesn’t reply to you and instead simply popped a new fusion-cell inside of its hammer, the instant he did it the weapon started to glow intensely, bright sparks and electric arcs surrounding it entirely. Then quickly ascends once more with the use of its jetpack and gets ready to fall upon you with all his might.

Roll 1d12!
>Use your jump-pack and mixture of Tesla-Claws and Power-Drill to clash with him in the air and take him down.
>Dash away and get your Death-ray ready, it’s time to test this little baby. You only have three fusion cores, including the one of your power-armor, so you only have a couple of shots.

My turn to roll!

>Use your jump-pack and mixture of Tesla-Claws and Power-Drill to clash with him in the air and take him down.
CRITICAL SUCCESS!

With a great impulse, you fly upwards, leaving behind a small crater in the floor. Your rocket pack burns hot and leaves behind a column of fire behind, filling the vast darkness of space with bright orange and blue flames.

Once on the air, you put on the power-drill on your right hand and make it spin until the friction and its overcharged torque turn it white-hot. Violent sparks and cooling gases spewing out of its vents as its gears turn and spin until they become little more than a blur.

On your other hand, you ready your Tesla Claws, electrical arcs violently jutting out of your fingertips as they become overcharged with more and more power.

The moment you reach him he swings his rocket hammer in a descending swing but you manage to grab it from the handle before it crushes you, with your other hand you aim directly at his neck, one of the most exposed areas of a Power-Armor.

As you two struggle for the hammer, your drill starts to bore into his armor, ripping metal and ceramic with ease and then finally getting into the protective sealant gel and clothes that separate his soft flesh from your razor-sharp spinning blades.

A couple of moon buggies explode around you, you quickly glance around you and see dozens of dead civilians, most of them with their spacesuits completely ripped open, the Enclave is also suffering loses, they aren't used to the lunar gravity and the local Lunanovan guardsmen are using that in their advantage.

Slowly, you two start to descend back onto the surface of the moon, several laser beams and plasma balls flying dangerously close to you two as you descend. The moment you two make contact with the floor the impact of the landfall proves to be the strength that you needed, finally allowing you to tear his neck open.

Edward screeches in pain and kicks you away from him with his legs. You fall backward but manage to recover and face him back again. He then quickly and painfully searches for a small canister on his hip, and with trembling hands starts to cover his bleeding wound with a strange foam and then weakly stands up. The foam seemingly is capable of both healing his wounds, stopping the bleeding and sealing the suit in an airtight manner.

He's heavily wounded, he's weakly standing up now, his hands are trembling and it seems that you have crippled his head, as he seems confused and apparently seeing double, despite him not wanting to admit it.

Roll 1d12!
>Decapitate him with your Axetar.

>Use the chains that you use to tie the Axetar to your body and wrap them around his already wounded neck, then tie the chain to your Rocketbike and take him for a stroll as you ride towards the refueling station.
SUCCESS

"You are going to explain everything Vasquez" You say as you point at him with your electricity spewing index.

"I have no answers for people like you, you could have joined me, joined us, but no, you are stubborn as the others, there is no hope for this planet. We need to start again..." He weakly says, clearly spitting blood as he tries to grip his rocket hammer with both hands.

You slowly return to your bike and leave your Axetar on it, then use the chain that you used to tie it to your body and create a hangman's noose with it, then quickly tie one end to your bike.

"This is your last chance to speak, what did you do, why are you here? I need answers!"

He once more tries to dash towards you, feeling confident as you were moving calmly and in a relaxed manner. Anticipating this moment you quickly hop into the bike and surround his damaged neck with the noose, then quickly grab the accelerator and drive as fast as you can.

Before he can reach the ground he is painfully pulled by your neck, with almost enough force to rip his head and spine from his torso. Thanks to the moon's low gravity and lack of atmosphere he survived the sudden pull, otherwise, he would have been swiftly decapitated.

You start to ride wildly across the craters, dragging him behind. The friction between his metallic armor and the moon's rocky ground starts to raise several bright sparks, from time to time you take sharp turns to force him crash against some debris, rocks or even enclave corpses and suffer even more.

He is screaming during this whole ordeal. You can see several cracks on his armor, big enough to make him suffer from the pressure and temperature difference but not ample enough to instantly kill him.

"Explain everything and I will swiftly kill you!" You say over the radio.

"Please! Mercy!" He ends screaming after a while.

You stop the bike, grab his healing foam and cover him in all his wounds and cracks, you are going to kill him, yes, but first, you need answers.

After he's sufficiently covered and suffers no more risk of dying from exposure to the vacuum you then press your flamer pistol against his head.

"I could lower the pressure just enough to cook you alive Edward. Speak unless you want further torture."

He softly nods and sobs, he's a mess, unless he receives immediate medical attention he's going to die.

"Because we haven't changed a thing in more than two centuries, the Brotherhood is nothing but an idealistic lie. Here comes the Brotherhood of Steel! Paragon examples of humanity that risk their lives every day to protect the citizens from dangerous technologies and mutants monsters!... please, it's all bullshit, we are little more than raiders and you know it, I could always see it in your eyes, for some reason you hate us, possibly some Knight pissed you off at some point? Truth is that liike the Enclave, we are little more than a shell of our former self. After the war against the NCR the Californian and Mojave chapters are all but gone, we are nonexistent in Appalachia and pretty much everywhere in the interior, our chapters in the East coasts suffered a civil war... War...war never changes, and as a product of war, we will never change either. I respect our founder Maxson and its ideals, but they are not realistic for a world like the one that we live in. The Enclave has the means to start again, to truly start again. They contacted me years ago, and told me about their plans, believing that I could be a good asset for their future colonies, why the hell do you think that they didn't bomb the Valdez to hell and back during all these years?"

>"What did you mean by stubborn like the others, what did you do?"

"Building the Rockets took the Enclave several years, countless resources and many problems. When the time finally came I asked several of my closest Scribes and Knights to join me, but they declined and attempted to imprison me, but thankfully I suspected that such thing might happen, so I worked in several executable virus-programs that would change the combat parameters of the robots and turrets and sent them to attack the Valdez's population and simultaneously send the ship's nuclear engines on a meltdown. After their rejectal and hostile response, I activated the virus and while everybody was busy fighting the robots and turrets I went my way to a Vertibird and escaped. I never saw the Valdez exploding really, but I'm pretty sure that it must be in the bottom of the ocean right now, oh well, another gigantic wreck spilling radioactive fuel won't affect much to this already corrupted and hopeless world."

Despite being true that these people never truly accepted you, you are pretty angry at his remarks and feel like punching the shit out of him, but sadly looking at how weak he looks right now even a single jab might kill him off.
>>
>>3819561
>"Why the missions? Why attack the Enclave if you have been working for them?"

"The war had been planned long ago. The Enclave doesn't want any loose ends, they don't want to go to space and discover centuries later that people from Earth have also achieved space travel and might become a problem to their plans of Galactic dominion. Hawaii has been ruled by three main factions, Ohana, the Sons of Kanaloa and the High Evolutionary. The three were powerful enough to destroy each other and were always tethering on the brink of war. They decided that if any faction should rule Hawaii it should be the High Evolutionary, they are by far the most primitive, savage and violent of the three and thus are the ones with the least chance of evolving into a functioning society with advanced technology. The war between Ohana and the Sons, Enclave and the Brotherhood...it was all a sham, a lie. When Ohana and the Sons were weakened enough we gave specially adapted Power-Armors to the super-mutants of the High Evolutionary and means to reach the rest of the islands. The entire place must be pretty chaotic by now. Think about it, it makes sense, we are simply burning the bridge after crossing it."

>"Is there anything to counter the Lovebugs?"

He smiles and shakes his head.

"There is no cure if that's what you are asking...but a few people proved to be completely immune so perhaps you could create a vaccine from their blood. Cold is also really damaging to them, even more than to regular mosquitos. Many of them die at night and they will never survive winter or in colder areas like Alaska. We still expect complete propagation thought, the virus can also be spread by fluids, including saliva, blood, and semen, so the infected people can infect others via bites or rape without the need of the mosquito being present. Despite what they might have told you, the objective of the Lovebug is not to infect the whole world, but just enough people to keep the wastelanders busy and miserable, with low technology and barely functioning societies. The Enclave plans to return someday in the far future when the planet is fully healed, and when they do they will capture and enslave the local population and use it to build their cities and become a serving class. They need these future generations; if they return to an empty planet then they will need to use robots and their plans will take much longer to function."

The fucking enclave is worse than you could have ever imagined. Eh worst comes to worst, we grab whatever survivors we can from earth and return to the moon to rebuild society up here with the help of Zetan tech, whatever we can get off the Enclave's wrecked shit and our own ingenuity.

I mean the Zetan ship had artifical-gravity, which would certainly help the Lunar-folk recover their natural strength and shit. If we can work out a better source of food / nutrition then they odd to be much better off.

Especially given we can construct tele-ships and send them to every planet of the solar system to effectively create a solar-nation of humanity and start a new age of human expansion funded by the resources of space and the ruins of earth and the moon.

>These fuckers cannot reach the stars, drive towards the refueling rockets and obliterate them with your Deathray.

What once started like a humble yet powerful Wattz 2000 laser rifle has now become your to-go murder machine. If anyone were to look at your weapon it would never guess its origins, not even after disassembling it apart. It has been so modified that you are pretty sure that this is a one in the world thing, that there are no other portable deathrays like yours.

The massive weapon is now heavy and needs both hands and to be put over your shoulder to function. It now looks more like a rocket launcher than a rifle. Few parts of the originally dark metal, yellow and black paint job, thick copper cables and the wooden stock remains, currently, most of the gun is composed of zetan chromed metal, strange alien circuits, and relays and pieces grabbed from the Brotherhood of Steel's forge.

Without ever stopping the bike or releasing Vasquez corpse you grab your heavy weapon, put it over your shoulder and aim high. Luckily for you, the rocket is massive and there's simply no way you can miss.

Other laser beams are also attacking the rocket, it seems that you haven't been the first person with this idea, but their projectiles are simply too weak. You press the trigger and a multicolor beam as thick as your power-armored arm suddenly flies across the void of space, the beam is not completely stable and from time to time it ripples and wildly arcs with power. Thanks to your strange black gem the laser can now freeze, burn and irradiate people, you don't understand much the science behind it, but right now you don't care much about it, all you can think about is destroying the Enclave.

Once the beam finally reaches the rocket it punches a massive hole in it, melting, freezing and irradiating everything around it. Finally, your beam reaches one of the fuel deposits and then, the moon is turned upside down again.

You have never seen such a massive explosion, never have, never will again. The entire station is vaporized as a mushroom cloud engulfs it entirely and with it all of the Enclave's hopes and dreams. Many Lunanovans are also caught in the explosion, but there was no other option. After the blast and shockwave happen most people simply run away, hop in whatever moon buggy they find and head away, and for a good reason. The destruction has created a fault on the moon's surface, and now massive ravines and sinkholes are opening everywhere.
>>
>>3820562
Revving your quantum engine you turn around and accelerate as fast as you can as the ground behind you starts to crack and sink into an endless void. You pass by several other people, some manage to outrun the destruction, others aren't as quick and fall to their deaths. You are only focusing on driving further and further to save your own life, so you don't see another moon buggy coming. It isn't like the others, it isn't simply driving next to you, this one is deliberately getting too close to you. The moment you finally notice their presence you see that the driver isn't a Lunanovan, but a member of the Enclave.

With a quick turn, the enclave soldier slams the stolen buggy against your bike, all the while aiming at you with a laser pistol. Before it could open fire you slam the brake. It also stops shortly after and gets down.

"We meet again, and for the last time, wastelander scum..."

You recognize that voice, its Sebastian Fox, the leader of the Enclave. He is wearing X-02 power armor, painted gold and white, with engravings of the declaration of independence and significant dates of American history acid-etched onto his armor. He is wearing an olive wreath around his helmet, his shoulder plates have been modified to look like bald eagle heads and he is wearing a long cape with the old american flag embroidered in it. He has a heavily modified laser pistol in one hand and the pre-war flag that the Apollo 11 left on the moon in the other. That flag was a gift to them by Natalya, he doesn't deserve it.

Quickly, you get down of your bike, reload your weapon and charge your only remaining Fusion-Core onto your deathray. This battle will be decisive, brutal and quick, you have no time to waste, the moon is literally crumbling around you.

>Roll 1d12!

>RIP AND TEAR, destroy his arms with your claws and time dilating powers
CRITICAL SUCCESS!!

You dash towards him like a pain train, your muscles burning and straining under the stress and the pressure. Just before reaching him you activate the Chronometer attached to your Pip-Boy, it is a small digital clock with a small red button attached to several glowing cables and strange alien devices and connected to your Pip-Boy. The instant you press the button the screen of your Pip-Boy goes dark and after a short while starts to show a waterfall of green code randomly composed of arabic numbers, latin letters, and strange alien symbols.

After a short while, the clock's screen suddenly turns on and starts showing a small countdown of thirty seconds. A small fiery pulse then emanates from your wrist and for an instant, everything has inverted colors. After the pulse is gone everything starts to go incredibly slow around you.

You look at him in the eye and using the radio you speak the last words that he will ever hear.

"How does it feel for the wasteland scum to kill you?”

Since time is being distorted you aren't sure if from his point of view he hears you properly or with your voice accelerated and distorted, but from his sudden and slight trembling hands and legs in fear, it seems that he has indeed heard you well.

You have only a half-minute to act, quickly you advance towards Sebastian and use your Tesla Claws to break the seams of his helmet and rip it away from his face. Even with the time going slow you can quickly see the effects of the void affecting him, his sweat and blood across his face instantly bubbling, boiling and evaporating, his face slowly turning red, all the hair of his lungs instantly leaving his nose and mouth.
>>
>>3820984

This has been too easy, and his death, while enjoyable, is taking too long. You throw his helmet on the trunk of your Rocketbike and decide to torture him further. In a metaphoric poetic act that clearly show your opinions on his view of patriotism you grab the bald eagles that decorate his shoulders by the neck and start to pull with all your might.

"This is for the Rustfields!" You say as you start to pull and rip open while putting one of your feet on his chest to further separate you two. With a swift bone-breaking movement you rip and tear out his arms from his power-armor frame. Blood starts to spurt from his stump shoulders, blood that instantly boils and evaporates due to the lack of atmosphere. The time dilating effects then stop and Sebastian falls down to the ground, you don't know if he choked to death from the lack of air or died from blood loss, but it matters not. You chain his corpse to the rocketbike along with Vasquez's and get ready to drive once more.

But then...the floor around you crumbles.

You try to ride away from the danger by ascending upwards but the bodies you are carrying simply drag you down. As you wildly descend and spin you nervously press the Chronometer again but it needs time to cool down. You try to burn the chains with your flamer but the lack of atmosphere makes the weapon useless. Your jump-pack and your laser gun are your last chance, you get both ready but never have the chance of using them, for several rocks fall upon you, burying you under countless tons of lunar rocks.

The fall doesn't kill you, the rocks didn't kill you. You are trapped in the rubble surrounded by darkness and with barely any oxygen on your suit left. In your last breaths, you cry your soul out, this is so unfair, so unjust, so cruel. The world is fucked, the people of the moon are fucked, and it all was because of you. With a gut-churning scream...you then blackout.

But this, this isn't the end of your story.
>>
>>3820989

The first thing you feel is a head-splitting headache, then incredibly cold followed by the sound of medical machines, a strange glow behind your closed eyelids and a metallic taste in your mouth. Slowly everything starts to take shape and form, you are in one of the cryo-pods, rising out from slumber.

Your body is full of scars and skin transplants, some of which apparently came from Lunanovans as they are nearly transparent and show your muscles and organs underneath. Your body hurts and feels weak and fragile, you can barely move on your own. A couple of people in laboratory coats help you get out of the cryo-pod and ready a wheelchair and thermal blanket for you.

One of the scientists is a Lunanovan, the other is…different. Her skin isn’t as transparent, she has slightly pointed ears and a couple of small protruding tusks on her lower jaw. Despite her mutations, the lack of a transparent skin makes her much more human-looking.

You try to speak but nothing but a raspy whisper comes out, with their help they start transporting you around. You are still on the moon, the low gravity and architecture of the area make that clear but it is obvious that things are different, the technology around… is clearly inspired and copied from the mothership. Together they push you into a teleporter and then you are transported to a small room, you have seen this room before; this is where the presidential room, the place from where Natalya rules the Moon. One of the scientists pushes you towards a desk where a turned armchair lies; the other carefully gives you an injection and several pills full of strange chemicals. The moment these enter into your system you feel much more refreshed and capable of speech, still unable of moving on your own thought.

The armchair turns around and on it sits a young woman, no older than thirty. She also doesn’t look quite like the moon people that you have met so far, her eyes aren’t completely black, they have white sclera and brown irises, her skin isn’t as transparent and she has a head full of brown curly hair. If it weren’t for her slightly transparent skin and inhumanly lanky and tall proportions you would have taken her for a regular human.

She clears her throat and then nervously smiles at you.

“Welcome home…father.”

"W-what is happening?" You ask weakly, hands trembling.

"Look at me, calm down, my name is Isbel Rast...I'm your daughter...what is the last thing you remember?" She asks, her voice echoing softly.

"I destroyed the Enclave rocket, then fought Sebastian, the ground broke and I fell down." You say with a raspy voice.

She nods softly and then stands up, getting close to you. You can't believe that she is your daughter, but the resemblance is uncanny, even your voices sound alike.

"You saved us from extinction. The Enclave planned to kill us all so we couldn't evolve into a space-faring society that might one day face them. With their advanced power armors, they thought themselves as unstoppable and indestructible and that would have been a reality if you didn't stop them. Many of our people died that day, some as a result of your extreme measure, but we are not angry at you, the needs of many outweigh the needs of a few."

Isbel then crouches down and kisses you on the forehead, softly, sweetly. Carefully she walks behind your wheelchair and starts pushing it around outside of the room, taking you across a corridor full of holo-portraits and names, each one of these depicts the people who died during what they have called the "Massacre of the Patriots", you can recognize several faces among them, Tankdozer, Poison, Natalya, her advisers and several of the people you got laid or became friends with. You know you are still on the moon, but something feels different, heavier, the gravity is not as low as it used to be, it isn't as strong as it is on Earth thought.

"Once the ground stabilized" She proceeds to talk. "We immediately sent rescue parties to find the wounded. Trying to show a speck of humanity, we also saved a couple of Enclave soldiers. Natalya was one of the people who became trapped under the rubble but survived the explosion. Using her spacesuit's radio, in her dying breath, she revealed us the location of the underground alien mothership and urged us to use its cryo-chambers to save as many people as possible. We never found her body, she's still somewhere underground. We luckily found you next to your rocket bike among all the rubble. You were incredibly wounded up, but thankfully your power-armor took most of the damage. Like with many other survivors we had no other option but to freeze you and operate you from time to time to fully heal you back."

She then put a hand over your shoulder, a shoulder that now had skin grafted over it, transparent skin.
>>
>>3821884

"During the following twenty-seven years we have been focusing on recovering our numbers, I'm not the only child you have sired, I'm only the eldest one.. and the only one naturally conceived. I know it is incredibly intrusive, but in the massacre, more than half of our population died, so we desperately needed to repopulate the moon. We have been extracting your DNA and using it to impregnate several willing women, we also used DNA from the prisoners of the mothership, but due to DNA degradation, genetic incompatibilities and our lack of medical and scientific workers, most of these pregnancies never developed correctly."

Your daughter is twenty-seven years, technically speaking, a year older than you are. All this new information is giving you a headache. On your way out you find a robot working on some pipes, it's a Protectron, but one heavily modified and clearly infused with zetan technologies and robotics.

"H-how many children do I have?"

"Including me. Four daughters and two sons."

She then pushed you into a circular glass elevator and went inside with you, when the doors closed, it slowly started to descend, from the elevator's transparent walls you could now see most of the city. It was clearly much more advanced, with strange chromed towers that emitted warm lights and were surrounded by soft glowing coronas of energy. You thought the elevator would stop at ground level but instead, it continued going down, everything goes dark then.

"Every time we operated on you... we had to lower the cryogenic effects of the pod, just enough to keep you unconscious. During these moments you spoke in dreams and were slightly responsive, even answering questions. You told us about the Rustbucket, about Saltgut, Kahuna, Rickard, Shang, Aurore...about the orphans of Oahu, Duke, Asuka, Sally... about your times as a mercenary agent with Tankdozer and Poison... we found their bodies on the station you were dropped at, and they have been properly buried and added to the memorial..."

"Yeah, I noticed."
>>
>>3821885

"I don't know if Natalya told you back in the day, but after your arrival and discovering that Earth was not barren of human life she started to build a telescope. As a mean of honoring her we continued with her project and five years ago finally completed it."

"I think she mentioned it yeah." You say while weakly nodding, feeling better and better by the minute.

The elevator finally reaches its destination and your daughter pushes you into a big circular room with walls covered in monochrome television screens and massive mainframes and computers full of magnetic tapes that are constantly spinning. On the center of the room, there is a big holographic projector showing a depiction of Earth and the fragmented moon around it. There are several people working on the machines and looking at the screens, collecting data from them.

"We have added a recorder to the Telescope to be able to store what it captures on holotapes. Some areas of the world are not as bad as we thought, others are hells that we could have never imagined."

"H-how's Hawaii?" You say weakly.

Isbel carefully pushes you towards the main and biggest screen of the room and then pushes a button close to it. It seems that they were expecting you to make this question, as they had already prepared the holotape that depicted the current state of the Hawaiian wasteland to you.

You look at it from above...and see it burning.

The High Evolutionary is now dominating the Hawaiian wasteland. Their hyper-violent religion has spread all across the islands. New Honolulu and many other cities are now under complete Super-Mutant control, with humans working as little more than slaves or soldiers. The coast and seas are constantly terrorized by pirate bands and the inner parts of the islands are full of Raider gangs and mutant beasts. And the thread of the Lovebug mosquito or its infected individuals is neverending. Warfare is constant, the pirates, super-mutants, and raiders fight every they meet each other, yet unite every time they face anyone who isn't part of their cult. Only a couple of places remain more or less untouched...including the New World Hope.

"I think you will like what comes next." She says smirking in anticipation.

The video feed then changes to show a patch of ocean, and then a small tugboat crossing it, despite not being able to see its name from above, you would recognize that ship anywhere, its the Rustbucket. The image then zooms, but the zooming causes the quality of the picture to degrade, on the ship you can see three human-like figures, but you cannot discern who they are.

"I can't believe it..." You say, putting your hands on the wheelchair and standing up, all while covering yourself with the blanket. Softly, you touch the TV screen and shed a tear of joy.

"There's more..." Your daughter says as she better wraps the blanket around your naked body and helps you walk to a nearby room.

Once in there, you see a spaceship, a mixture of zetan and human technology. It is massive, not as big as the Enclave ship, but it looks way more spacious, as it lacks the fuel deposits that compromised of most of the Enclave's rocket bulk size.

"This is the Nova light. The vessel we have been working on for years, and the means for us to return to Earth. We cannot allow Hawaii to burn. Not after you saved us all. It can transport up to twelve persons, counts with a workshop, shared bedrooms for us all, kitchen and the necessary services like plumbing to live in. It's kind of cramped, but liveable. We will also transport the teleportation beacon, so once we reach Earth we will have means of instantaneously returning to the Moon in case we need it, but the rocketship will be left behind, and we need to be in proximity to the beacon to do so, so it is not a panacea. Your rocketbike and power-armor have been repaired and are already inside. We have already formed a team that will go there with you and will be at your orders. We are ready to go whenever you want."

>"I'm not strong enough..." Ask them to give you full access to their tech so you can further augment yourself with Bionics, upgrade your Rocket Bike and modify your Power-Armor and Weapons.
>"There is no time to lose. It's a miracle that the Rustbucket is still sailing the ocean, we cannot wait any longer." Get in the spaceship, call for the others to come, and return to Hawaii.

"Take me to your hospital and forge, I need new bionic upgrades and mods my weapons and gear.

Isbel nods and once more helps you into the wheelchair.

"What about the Lovebug, can the zetan shields protect us from them?" You ask.

"Well, these shields can stop bullets, they should be able to stop the mosquitos. We could always increase the voltage so they zap the mosquitos before they can reach us. The infected people on the other side...well. The spaceship has a laboratory in there, not the most advanced equipment but it will be enough to patch us up. If we find someone who is inmune then we might be able to synthesize a vaccine or a cure."

"Nice. Nice. Have you ever recorded anything about a ship called the Nightstalker with your telescope?"

She shakes her head.

"No sorry, there are several ships, most of them pirate vessels. Since our telescope can only observe from above and the image becomes pretty grainy when fully zoomed in its pretty much impossible to discern any names on their hulls. We just found the Rustbucket thanks to your description of it."

Slowly, she pushes you into a teleporter and you instantly appear in a medical facility.

"After I'm done...I want to meet my team and then head into Earth." You say after she helps you into the Auto-Doc.

>Implant Y-3:
A wastelander's best friend! With this fancy implant, you no longer have to worry about eating irradiated food and drinking irradiated booze! All consumable items are stripped of any radioactive materials when you consume them. It does have the unintended side-effect of making your farts smell even worse, however.

>Implant Y-7:
With this implant, you immediately recover 10% of your HP each time you eat a meal. Furthermore, you gain one free Action each combat that can be used during any of your turns.

>High-Quality Bionic Skull:
As the name implies this implant requires substituting or shielding the cranium, usually with metal. Not many people apply to do these and unless you find a completely working Auto-Doc this operation will have an incredibly high mortality chance. Each skull regardless of quality will make you unable to have your head crippled. This bionic skull is completely undetectable and even fixes your appearance and features, making you look more beautiful. It gives you +1 CHA.

>Cyber-nostrils:
This bionic enhances smells. The massively enhanced olfactory will allow you to be able to sense things that ordinarily only a dog would. You can smell people’s emotions in their sweat, traces of ammunition propellant, explosives, or biological and chemical warfare compounds—the list goes on and on. Doesn't changes your outward appearance.

>High-Quality Synthetic Skin:
Synthetic skin was designed by the US military to be used by specialized soldiers trained to fight in the most toxic, radioactive and hostile environments. It is a chemical component that turns regular skin into a defensive layer that offers protection against energy-based attacks and radiation. This skin was designed to be both protective and stylish; it will make you look radiant and healthy, even if you are a ghoul. It gives 60 points of resistance against energy weapons and radiation and also grants +2 CHA points.

>High-Quality Bionic Limbs (up to 4):
Bionics limbs are the most common implant found in Hawaii, they are substitutes of arms and legs and help to keep people functional and useful, something which is vital to surviving in the Wasteland. Regardless of the model and the quality of people with bionic limbs count as wearing brass knuckles when throwing punches or kicks. These pieces are made from the highest quality materials and technology that the Pre-War times could offer. They were exclusively designed for military purposes. They offer +1 AGL and STR each.

>Hidden weapon cyber arm:
A regular cyber arm that is capable of holding a small weapon inside. The starter weapon will be an average laser pistol but can later be upgraded to a small shotgun, machinegun, flamethrower, cryo pistol, plasma pistol, tesla pistol or even a micro grenade launcher.

>Hidden blade cyber arm:
A regular cyber arm that holsters inside a long blade capable of catching people by surprise. It will start being a simple combat knife but can be later upgraded to different knife models with damage modifiers or even a ripper blade.

>Mechanically reinforced Spine:
Your spine gets reinforced with alien metals and advanced technologies, giving you +1 STR, +3 Damage resistance to all damage types and making your torse be unable to be crippled.

>Gene-enhanced Spine:
Your spine has been enhanced with specially tailored DNA and a few alien genes added to the mix. Technically you won't be fully human anymore but nobody will ever notice. +2 STR, +5 Damage resistance to all damage types but your torso can continue being crippled.

>Mechanically reinforced Brain:
Your brain gets substituted with alien metals and advanced technologies. You are unable to get poisoned, healing items and chems are 50% more effective.

>Gene-ehhanced Brain:
Your own brain has been enhanced with specially tailored DNA and a few alien genes added to the mix. technically you won't be fully human anymore but nobody will ever notice. Chems and Healing items are 100% more effective and last twice as long, but you will be still be affected by poisons.

>Mechanically reinforced Heart:
Your heart gets substituted with alien metals and advanced technologies. Your need to sleep, eat and drink gets reduced by 25% and you will be 50% less affected by illnesses, and diseases.

>Gene-ehhanced Heart:
Your own heart has been enhanced with specially tailored DNA and a few alien genes added to the mix. technically you won't be fully human anymore but nobody will ever notice. Your need to sleep, eat and drink gets reduced by half but you can still be affected by diseases.

The gene-enhanced stuff offers bigger benefits but still being hit by poison and being enhanced with their fucked up genes seems risky. Especially with the brain since Zetans aren't known for being particularly nice fucks.

I do question the mechanically reinforced spine, didn't we already replace our spine and ribs? So shouldn't this just be a flat upgrade? Especially since one of the benefits from the previous thing was that our torso couldn't be crippled.

If OP agrees to my analysis, then my list is still only 6 mods and I'd personally suggest keeping a slot free in case we find something once we go planetside. Failing that, another of the SPECIAL enhancing mods might be a decent idea assuming we can't mount cyber arms to ourselves without removing existing limbs to become some sort of spider-person.

Also, strange lack of cybernetics from the Chinese and Euros here. I mean not even some sort of stealth system built into the flesh or anything. Presumably they didn't develop as much of it.

Yeah, well, both bionics make your torso uncrippable, we already have that. It's true that the bionic torso affected our spine, see this as a side upgrade.

>Assuming we can't mount cyber arms to ourselves without removing existing limbs to become some sort of spider-person.
I have something like that planned, but it will be for our PA

>Also, strange lack of cybernetics from the Chinese and Euros here. I mean not even some sort of stealth system built into the flesh or anything. Presumably, they didn't develop as much of it.
Oh shit, I forgot about these, well, we will have time to install them on the spaceship if we ever want, and they won't be intrusive so they wont count to the bionic limit.

Sorry for the delay, I was updating the character sheet, writing the Chinese and European bionics now.
>>
>European and Chinese bionics:
Weaker than American ones but not as intrusive. Sadly, the technology to make these is very ancient and complex, so you can only choose one.

>Papillon Solar panels:
A bionic created by the french to be used by future explorers of alien worlds. It's composed of a small set of triangular solar panels that can be installed on the users' nape and shoulder blades. These panels can fold and bend to become incredibly small and nearly undetectable, they can be also extended, creating a shape similar to Butterfly wings. When extended the solar panels will be able to use the heat of the sun to recharge and power electrical devices like fusion cores or flashlights.

>Thousand Eyes:
A modification created by the Russians. Your bionic eyes are further upgraded, giving them the chance of seeing across several spectrums and allowing you to have thermal sight and night vision at will. Your eyes will become pretty bizarre-looking, with three pupils pressing against each other and creating a triangular shape. One of the pupils will be all black, the other glowing green and the last one regular.

>Tiger Blood
A chinese bionic. It fills your blood with a serum that increases your oxygen and blood flow, accelerating scarring and allowing you to heal faster. Your blood will become thicker, become dark red and emanate a strong smell of iron and rust.

>Golden Silence:
A British invention. It's a small mod installed on your ears that to an outsider simply looks like a small set of cables and long antennas placed behind your ears. It can create a bubble around that will capture every sound, effectively making you silent even if you are running with a power-armor while shooting a machinegun. This bionic draws power from a small battery ´with thirty minutes of charge but can also be connected to a power armor to double it. This will drain power from the armors Fusion Core thought. The Golden Silence has a great disadvantage though, the moment you activate it a great sharp noise is heard from around the bionic, possibly alerting enemies of your presence.

True, but I didn't want you all to get extremely overpowered. I just gave you all 8 fucking bionics for free, c'mon man.

Fair enough but I'd expected something like a Chinese upgrade that provides partial invisibility / image blurring or that provides improved mobility on all joints. A German one that gives an inbuilt EMP, a Italian one that enables complete and instant blood filtration once per day or a Russian one that enables extreme resistance to (environmental) radiation for short periods of time.

>as many ideas as you have
Alright though some of these aren't as serious as others:

1) A shield built into the arm of the user made of energy couplings and strong ceramic plates over kevlar-like material that can resist pistols and light energy weapons (with a heavier version that resists rifle-level weapons of all sorts being available at the cost of putting the user off-balance at all times and making the army weirdly bulky). Designed initially by the EU as their oil supply ran out to maintain law and order before being taken by the Chinese and Americans for further development suppressing their population.

2) A set of lockpicking tools are hidden in the tips of the user's fingers, mounted just after the joint. Made of either steel or high strength plastic to render them undetectable. Produced by the Chinese for their secret agents deployed to america and then in plastic once the Americans caught on.

3) A primitive modification developed by the Chinese to enhance the endurance of workers: it drains the hormones that accumulate in the brain over time to encourage sleep. It doesn't however remove all the actual effects of a lack of sleep, just the feeling of tiredness which means it's only marginally useful. In combination with enhanced regeneration from other mods, it's actually fairly easy to sustain extended consciousness on the regular with greatly reduced side-effects.

4) A similar modification by the Americans that overcharged the production of adrenaline and other, similar, agents to induce a frenzied state. Recharged by drawing nutrients from the bloodstream, it's use carries extreme risk of cardio-vascular failure, accidental self-harm and other injury thanks to the intense state it causes.

5) A EU project for arctic combat, it enabled surviving at significantly lower body temperature to the point of just below zero, at a cost of constant numbness or cool caused by the nerves of the body even when still at the normal body temperature. May also suffer shivering for the first few days to weeks until the body cease's to respond to that reflex. Is incredibly noticeable to anyone who comes into contact with the user as their resting body temp will be below what it naturally is but isn't anywhere near as low as it could go.

6) A laser hidden behind the collarbone of the chest, capable of a single 5-second beam before needing a day to recharge. Can be fired for shorter periods for purposes like lighting fires or melting locks.

7) A modification developed in {Redacted}: it replaces the ordinary human mouth and tongue with a set of fine cillia that surprisingly quickly rend down anything placed between them, comes with the benefit of the jaw being able to essentially unhinge and far stronger "spit", that functions as acidic weapon if launched. May now consume a wider range of material like previously inedible plants or bones.

You punch all the instructions in the Auto-Doc and they are so many and so drastic that the machine itself starts filling with warning signs and asking you countless of times if you are really sure. You select "I Agree" around a dozen times and then, the pod finally opens, allowing you to enter in.

Isbel is clearly worried, but you nonetheless stand up, remove the thermal blanket and once naked get into the machine.

Once inside, you are strapped by a set of mechanical arms and injected with an anesthetic. It doesn't leave you unconscious, but instead slightly dulls the pain and leaves you paralyzed, forcing you to see how dozens of mechanical arms begin to cut and pull your own skin with lasers, saws, and pincers. You want to scream, but you simply can't.

The sight of your own bloody body, all of its exposed muscles, bones and metallic bionics, its horrifying, but you have to do this.

Simultaneously, a small circular saw begins cutting around your scalp, removing the top of your head and exposing your own brain. Once opened, the mechanical arms carefully connect several cables and a small device inside of your brain, you can't feel it, but you will always know its there. Once installed, it then puts your scalp back in and applies a medical bio-gel.

At the same time, several more procedures take place all over your body. Implants Y-3 and Y-7 get installed on your stomach and lower intestine respectively. Your already bionic spine gets changed by another better one, your metallic vertebrae removed and thrown into the floor by the robotic hands. By now, the walls and the floor of the interior are completely coated in your blood.

Speaking of blood, several needle pumps stab all across your body, some of the needles were sucking you dry of your own blood while others are simultaneously filling you with the chemically rich artificial blood.

The replacement of your own heart is the most dangerous procedure. The entire interior of the Auto-doc turns red, not only with your blood, but the lights change in hue too, bathing everything with a crimson glow. A panel above you illuminates and suddenly starts to show a countdown of thirty seconds, once the countdown begins all of the mechanical arms immediately get to work, some cut your chest open and remove muscle and metallic ribs alike, other pumps you with blood to keep your body alive while your heart is out. The organ is swiftly pulled and removed by a set of saw and pincer arms and quickly afterward the mechanical replacement starts to get installed... you witness your own pulsating heart getting ripped from your chest, ventricles getting cut mercilessly and sparks and big blood spurts coming from the gaping hole where your original heart used to be.

Even with the anesthesia, you can feel it, your lower lip starts to tremble, your eyes to water. You are starting to see blackness around your vision, you are slowly dying. Just when the countdown reaches zero a set of defibrillator arms appear and violently kickstart your new heart. Your chest is closed and returned to normal afterward. Now, you don't have a heartbeat anymore, just the sound of slowly spinning gears and buzzing circuits. The lights turn back to normal.

Several sprays like arms then appear and start covering every inch of your body with a strange foam that quickly hardens and is then rinsed with a shower of cold water. When the water is out you find yourself covered in skin, a glistening and perfect skin, devoid of moles, scars or any other imperfection.

Shortly after the effects of the anesthesia wear off and the bids that strap you to the machine release you. The door opens and Isbel gasps.

You feel better, better than ever. You don't need her help or the wheelchair anymore.

"W-what now?" She says, covering her eyes with her hands. You take the thermal blanket, turn it into a toga and then smile at her.

>Mod your Power armor

"Let's go to the workshop. I need to upgrade my armor."

"It is not in the workshop...we have to go to the Art and History museum."

You give her a puzzled look, then shrug and quickly collect your old bloody heart and let Isbel guide you.

On your way you pass by several people, all of which look at you with awe, some even make reverences at you, even centuries after the war renmants of their original chinese culture still remain.

Thanks tonthe Zetan teleporters many areas are interconnected and it is very easy and fast to reach pretty much any part of the city. As you enter you clearly notice that the museum divides art created before and after the Massacre of the Patriots. It seems that during your slumber there has been a cultural shift and the Lunanovans are now more dedicated to art, but also more militaristic. At some point you even pass across several portraits, statues and holo-depictions of yourself or battle scenes depicting the Massacre of the Patriots with titles such as "Enclave's Hubris" or "Moon's folly". Lastly, you witness a monolith with hundreds of names engraved, above the names there is a depiction of you in cryo-stasis. It is named "The sacrifice" and is dedicated to all the people whose bodies could never be recovered. There are countless dedications, pictures, candles and flowers around it.

You finally reach the forge and find your old power armor. They used some of Fox's X-02 and Vasquez' t-51 pieces to repair your armor. It is considered another artistic part of their history and kept inside the museum.
>>

Your t-45 power armor has a very disctinct look. Its dark and slightly rusty metal is covered in soil, leaves and blood from the Rustfields, it now also has a layer of moon dust and green alien ichor on it. You painted a skeleton over it, one that glows in the dark. Your helmet has a grim skull painted over it, its Sensor array mod has added several new lenses and scopes to your eyes, giving you a slight spider like appearance, your modified voice modulator has also changed your helmet, adding several cables and a speaker grille to it, you are also using an old pre-war tattered flag of Hawaii as a scarf. Overall, it has several burn marks, bullet impacts and scratches all over it. Your left pauldron is now golden and in the shape of a roaring eagle. Your right arm is now different has it has been exchanged with Fox' X-02 arm, it is decorated with gold filigree and has part of the declaration of independence acid etched on it. Your tesla gauntlets are still covering your hands and forearms, their tesla coils cracking wildly with electricity. Your left leg piece has been substituted with Vasquez' t-45 leg, it is now darker in color and has several faded and crossed Brotherhood of Steel insignias. Hidden among the joints there are several smoke emmiters that allow you to look slightly ghostly and eerie, it can also be used to create a smoke wall and quickly escape. Your soles have magnetic technologies that allow you to attract or repel metal, letting you walk on walls or ceilings or softly hover and skate over metal. You have a dangerous overcharged Son of Kanaloa rocket strapped to your back. A tattered brown cape with a hood covers your shoulders and head, your right pauldron is decorated with your original ribs, an old bottle of Nuka-cola filled with water and with your two original brown eyes floating in it is kept around your left thigh tied with ropes, your hips have a leather toolbelt full of chromed hyper-advanced tools and your two pistols, and leather strap keeps your Deathray tied to your back.

It has changed much. But it is still your Memento-mori. Your reminder of your own mortality and how quickly death can come at any time.

Several people start to gather around, soon, when your intentions are clear more and more people start to pour in, many with high technology cameras and recorders that will forever capture how you work on your armor, to them, this is a historic event.

Once finished they all cheer at your masterful craft and a nervous group of engineering college students approaches to observe and ask you questions. The leader of the group. A pure blooded Lunanovan young adult woman wearing a white lab coat over a chrome thight spacesuit and using very thick glasses meekly starts speaking with you.

"Mr...we have been working on a project for Power armors. Its a servo-harness that can have up to four mechanical arms attached to them... we we call them mechadendrites. "I like it, but to test it properly I want an assortment of weapons. Two plasma weapons, one a thrower, one a flamethrower, a Tesla pistol and a mechanical ripper. You guys think you can do that?"

The engineers nod and quickly scram to get to work. In the meanwhile you continue working on your Power-Armor and visiting more parts of the museum, learning of the moon's history, both past and modern.

After a short while they return, sweat on their frowns and flustered looks all over. The servo-harness has the two upper mechadendrites with the plasma weapons, these can rest on your shoulders to give you more stability when shooting them, the two lower ones have the ripper saw and the tesla pistol respectively. The back side has a set of strange antennas and cables jutting out.

You strap it over your arlready bulky armor and see that it copies your movements, but that you can also control it with your eyes and mental orders, there's clearly some alien tech around, as you have never heard of mentally controlling machines back on Earth.
>>
>>3827610

Together you all leave the museum and take a teleporter that leads to a garage used to drive outside of the city. You leave the comfort and protection of the sealed city and once outside start launching plasma fire, plasma balls, electric arcs and cutting lunar rock as if it were wet cardboard.

You are really happy with the result, but cannot avoid feeling like this is nothing but the calm before the storm. Several years ago, back when you were crossing the American mainland you passed by a inn that had a working arcade, the memory is pretty vage and faded by now, but you fully remember how the place had several videogames and how you played and almost spent all your caps in "Grognak and the Ruby ruins" a game where you controlled a group of people and fought monsters. Before the last boss, you were given one last chance to rest and gear up, it was the calm before the storm, and right now, you cannot avoid feeling the same.

Who knows, perhaps this might be your last time of rest, from now on, it will all be war and hard work.

Slowly, you walk back into the city and meet your daughter once more. Once it there she is with two military style trunks.

"Oh, there you are! Are you enjoying the Mechadendrites? Every year the engineering college works on a project, and since you are our biggest hero and we have been awaiting for your awake for almost three decades many of the college's projects have been made around your persona. One year it was fixing your armor, another one was designing several of the bionics that are now part of your body and so on. I have asked for the melee weapons that they created as projects. One is the Rocket maul that you gathered from Vasquez, the students repaired it and attached your power-drill to its head and upgraded it to work with a fusion core. It can now render pretty much any armor into shreds, although it is kind of unwieldy, the students got a pretty good grade, the other is your old axetar, it has been upgraded with a sonic emitter, it can now send sonic blasts that will shatter bones and cripple with ease, its sharp blade has also been attuned to the sonic emmiter and now vibrates heavily, cutting flesh and bone with ease. I... I don't think you will be able to carry both, which one do you want?"

>The rocket hammer--drill. It will work well against heavy armor, buildings and vehicles, not so well against infantry and critters.

You grab the Rocket-hammer and study it. It's around five feet long, it's metallic shaft is thick and hard and requires you to use both hands to properly wield it. The handle is covered in rubber for better handling and has a motorbike like brake and accelerator, allowing you to better control the torque and revolutions of the drill. When spinning the hammer starts to spew violent sparks and flames from its head, making it hard to control even with the pistons and artificial servos of your Power-armor. You know that an average person could hardly use something like this.

You wrap it to your back with a set of chains and head again into the museum, your weapons are still there, the Lunanovans have studied them, learned as much as they could from their craft and history and there are several videos of their devastating effect for anyone who might want to see them. Most of the data gathered from the origins of your weapons is unknown to them, as they could not ask you about them. The Sons of Kanaloa and Van Graff are mentioned from what they have seen in your Tesla Gauntlets and Laser Pistol respectively, but nothing is written about them besides being weapon makers from Earth.

Obviously the weapons shown in the museum are not the real ones, but faithful yet unworking copies. The real ones were kept in storage to avoid damage, risk of being stolen or any other incident that might happen. Since the museum curators were expecting your arrival your weapons have been retrieved and many local citizens have come to see you gear up for your final battle. Despite the museum being an area of peace and tranquility the museum workers have also allowed for a weapons workbench and many resources to be transported there, so you could work on your tools of death with ease, all while they recorded your actions for posterity.

You are led to a small circular room, in there, lie your weapons, your two pistols and your shoulder mounted deathray. Around the room there are several glass panes, with people watching you from the other side.

The attention is nice but you are starting to feel like a freak show,

The glass has been made soundproof, that way the ruckus that you might cause while sawing, welding or working in general will not affect the museum visitors. You won't be able to hear the conversations from the people on the other side either.
Choose one! After this we will do the laser pistol and finally the deathray.

Flamer pistol:
>Thermal generator: Allows the gun to recharge fusion-cells or other batteries by powering a micro-thermal generator that feeds on the guns excess heat.
>Magmabomb: With the use of a magnetic nucleostabiliser the flamer can create magnetic bubbles that will be filled with burning fuel and raging flames. These bubbles will float in the air and violently explode when they enter in contact with something, even other bubbles. These bubbles wont float forever and will eventually fall down.

>Thermal generator: Allows the gun to recharge fusion-cells or other batteries by powering a micro-thermal generator that feeds on the guns excess heat.

You start with your flamer pistol, a weapon that you found in the secret genetic laboratories that rested under the Rustfields. It's been so long since then, you wonder how the place must look by now, if the corpses of your friends and the children are still there, or if nature has completely reclaimed them.

The makeshift flamer was built by a pre-war scientist with materials and resources found around, you can't remember the name of the scientist anymore. It's been very long since then, far too long. You managed to miniaturize the weapon and over time upgraded it until it became the mighty weapon that it is now. From its barrel rocket fuel flames spew out, burning bright and launching cerulean fires that can easily burn flesh and fat from people's bones. The heat it generates its uncomfortable even with your power-armor on, perhaps there's a way of capturing part of that heat and using it to power a small generator without affecting the damage output of the weapon. Quickly you start to work and build a heat sink and easily connect it to a micro-turbine that will then turn the thermal energy into electricity and be sent across some cables to an universal outlet that you can connect to your Memento Mori to recharge its Fusion-Core or connect it to Fusion-Cells or other machines to recharge or power them up.

You are making many modifications that will allow you save or regain energy, your Tesla-Claws can also drain energy from machines to power other devices. Your Rocket-Bike has now a quantum engine capable of passively gathering energy from background radiation, eliminating the need of refueling. And your own body now needs less sustenance to stay alive and healthy. Could it be that you are subconsciously aware of heading into a low tech zone? Somewhere in where technology and electricity might not be as available? You don't know, you don't care. All you know is that you were used as a pawn to create a war that has now sent all the islands into war and chaos. Defeating the Enclave and stopping their galactic conquest was just part of your redemption. You must avenge the islands and fix all the mess that you created.
>>

Hawaii was your last chance of finding a good place to live and settle in, and for a moment you thought you had truly found it. But things have changed, it is now a hellhole, a place much worse than anywhere you have ever been in, and you have seen truly despicable places like the Pitt, Detroit or the dog controlled city of Denver. You have witnessed your fair share of Super-Mutant settlements, they can be detected over a mile away thanks to the stench that they emit and their characteristic gore totems and hanging bloody meat sacks. Raider settlements aren't much better, what they might lack in cannibalism they compensate in torture and debauchery. Savage tribal lands are a mix of both. You can't even start to imagine how an entire wasteland controlled by these groups must look like.

You are going to battle monsters, you have to become a monster yourself.

Absent in your thoughts you finish your craft, not even paying attention to the people and the cameras around you. You holster it in your left thigh and then look at your laser pistol.

Your weapon was originally a Van Graff standard laser pistol bought in New Vegas. Someone that was kidnapped like you must have brought it with itself. When Saltgut rescued you from the radioactive sea his fishing nets also captured the pistol, and you have been carrying it since then. It was originally a salt covered weapon, but now it is something beyond. You cleaned it, repaired it, modded it, and now it is a sight to behold, specially with its bronce and brass accents that you installed on it thanks to the strange teachings that the book that you found in that strange place taught you. It is now a unique piece of technology, the lasers that it shots cracking with wild incendiary energies every time you press the trigger.

>Choose one mod!
>Automatic receiver: Makes the pistol automatic, letting it fire in three shot burts or fully automatic.
>Mirror-prism: Divides the projectile in several arcs with the same energy output but less range. Creating a laser shotgun of some sort.

It used to be Fusion Cells, but when we upgraded it the weapon became bigger and deadlier. It is now more akin to a rocket launcher is size and shape. And it now consumes Fusion Cores.

>Mesmetron module: Allows the gun to change from shooting lasers to launching mesmetron blasts, these blasts will mesmerize and stunt people allowing for more pacifists approaches.

Once again you ignore the rest of the people, their endless murmurs and flashes of their cameras. There is only your weapon, your objective and the tools, an extension of your own body. When you finally get lost in your thoughts and everything else becomes banal and secondary,ou finally enter in the trance and mindlessly work, letting your body act on its own accord and do what its best, not worrying of the how or why, just acting.

Soon enough, you have finished your craft, an underslung mesmetron module capable of stunning people into a stupor that will leave their minds completely suggestionable. This new mod will allow you to make your enemies surrender in any fight or obey your orders, no matter how wild they are, without even questioning it. The weapon might also fail, causing frenzy and endless savage rage on the victims or even a sudden cranial eruption due to a critical brain swelling, in other words, make their heads explode. You don't care much about this, its a risk you are willing to take.

Finally, you holster your new weapon on your thigh and get ready to work on your Magnum Opus. Whaat once started like a decent yet standard Wattz 2000 Rifle had now become a beast with a body of Chrome and Wood, a skeleton composed of a mixture of Earth and Extraterrestrial materials and technologies, and a soul of pure energy channeled with the otherwordly and quasi-magical black gem of that strange place. This weapon is unique, there isn't any like this beast. It burns entire Fusion-Cores with each shot, batteries that were designed to last for centuries. You still haven't found a thing capable of surviving it, and you doubt you ever will, and if you ever do, you better pray.

Many people gather when you grab it, far too many, this Deathray has gotten legendary status among them, it was the first mix of alien and human technology created on the moon and the tool of destruction that saved them all from doom. Many have tried to recreate it, none have been able to. Nowadays the weapon is so popular that most students and even office workers use pens modeled after it. Honestly, you even doubt that you might be able to cram anything else inside of it.

>Supercooled cryo-build: By cryogenically cooling the weapon you are able to make the Fusion-Cores last a 100% more, allowing you to shoot twice before needing to reload without losing any firepower.
>Dwarven Inspiration: Using teachings from the book that you found in that weird place you manage to upgrade your weapon, adding an extra dice of damage. It also changes its appearance, giving it brass and bronze accents.
>Blackgem modulator: Let's you choose the after effect of the deathray instead of being random, allowing you to burn, freeze or irradiate the people and areas around the laser beam at will.
>>

>Supercooled cryo-build: By cryogenically cooling the weapon you are able to make the Fusion-Cores last a 100% more, allowing you to shoot twice before needing to reload without losing any firepower.

Now that Gammaclaw won't be able to tank it.

>Supercooled cryo-build: By cryogenically cooling the weapon you are able to make the Fusion-Cores last a 100% more, allowing you to shoot twice before needing to reload without losing any firepower.
>>
>>3831561
It's only partially rad damage, if anything the Gammaclaw gains a 33% damage reduction against it but nothing more. Hell you can easily kill ghouls with radium rifles, and that'd basically be the same scenario upscaled.
>>
>>3831560
Kinda. The two láser beams wont be shot at the same time. But you will be able to shot twice before reloading instead of once like now.
>>
>>3831603
Two-shot != Double. Double just literally doubles the magazine size.
>>
>>3831546
>Supercooled cryo-build: By cryogenically cooling the weapon you are able to make the Fusion-Cores last a 100% more, allowing you to shoot twice before needing to reload without losing any firepower.

It's a 13 or so dice damage weapon, a additional one isn't even 10% more. As to the Blackgem, it being random is honestly not that much of a bother: compared to having twice as much ammo (of a relatively rare type) for this gun and more importantly being able to fire twice without reloading.
>>
>>3831546
>Supercooled cryo-build: By cryogenically cooling the weapon you are able to make the Fusion-Cores last a 100% more, allowing you to shoot twice before needing to reload without losing any firepower.

You need special materials for this. You announce loudly that you want Zetan cryo-technology and quickly many activate the two way communication system between you and them, once more you announce that you need zetan cryo-tech and all of the engineering students and scientists get out in the search of it. The few people who remain are all families or people who have come on their own, people that just wanted to see you, not your craft.

Not more than thirty minutes later they return, several guards following them with a stack of papers on their arms, apparently they went overboard, and not only fufilled your wish, but went as far as bringing the same cryo-pod that you awoke in, along with diagrams, blueprints and other data that they got from it after reverse engineering.

You study it and even let several of the students and scientists help and participating, allowing them something better than witnessing history, giving them the chance of being part of history itself. One of the youngest student even starts to sob quietly, too emotional and nervous.
>>
>>3831989

Trying to make this a more relaxed experience for everybody you start to tell them about your scientific exploits back on Earth. How you fixed the Rustbucket's ice cooler and turned it into a air conditioner of some kind, how you and Saltgut secretly fixed the ship's nuclear machinery, saving it from sinking, how you later worked on a military APC, built turrets, saved the Old World's Mourn nuclear reactor from entering into a critical meltdown, how you built the Rocket-Bike and so on. Each history is met with several questions and you enjoy answering them as best as you can and as time goes on their admiration for you goes further and further. At some point one of the youngest scientists mentions something called "Spear of Chang'e" but she is quickly shushed quiet by the rest of the people. Should you perhaps be worried about them keeping secrets from you? Honestly, after being played by Vasquez and the Enclave you cannot avoid feeling slightly more paranoid and untrustful than before... but no, you silence and ignore these thoughts and let the chat continue on. After telling some of your old tales they many of them start talking about how cool it must be to repair things with nothing but broken tools, repurposed materials and scrap metal, these people have been fortunate enough to live with plenty of resources and freely available tools and they don't even know it.

You sigh and avoid mentioning this, humoring them and nodding every time they mention something similar.

Together, you all manage to install a cryogenic refrigeration system on the weapon, several metallic tubes now cover the weapon and convert at the energy convert module. The tubes are white from the coldness and frost that has formed on them, they all emit a soft mist from them. You strap it on your back next to your Rocket-Drill hammer and then get ready to get out, thanking everybody for their efforts and help.

>Inquire more about the "Spear of Chang'e"

"Wait. Now that you all are here. I want to know more about the Spear of Change..." Slowly and without amyone noticing you then start to alter your voice, making it sound menacingly rough, deep and booming.

The scientists are all quiet and start looking at the floor, fidgeting nervously with their fingers as they start to sweat. You cam even see the veins of the pure blooded Lunanovans grow thicker and pulsate quickly under their transparent skin, a clear sign of high heart rate and elevated stress levels.

"Well?" You say with a thundering voice that would have scared even a Deathclaw.

From the back one of the eldest scientists and few survivors of the massacre handles you a small disk shaped device, approximately the size of your clawed hand. The disk's interior is opaque and from its insides a weak cerulean glow emanates. The glown quickly grows in intensity until it becomes a pillar of light that slowly starts to take form and create the holographic recreation of a massive gun emplacement, the biggest one you have ever seen, a gargantuan deathray jutting out of it and pointing to Earth.

"It isnt pronounced Change, but Chang'e, the name of the chinese goddess of the Moon. We have beem working on the Deathray for years, we are afraid of invaders from Earth or beyond so we wanted a weapon capable to punching a hole in anything, so just like you took inspiration in the alien death-ray to create the weapon that saved us we took inspiration in your death-ray to create the technological marvel that will save us in the future. There is a great problem with the weapon thought, since the Moon orbits around Earth we might not have a clear shot.... but thankfully during the first test runs of the Nova-light we discovered dozens of military satellites around Earth. Archimedes II, B.O.M.B 01... with the help of Lankay Zniccan we turned all of these into energy catalysts and repeaters. We can now shot at these satellites insteas, which will capture and redirect the energy to other transformed satellites or to the planet below, basically allowing us to shot amywhere in the world. Each attack is truly devastating and will leave our entire city without energy for at leaat fifteen minutes. I.. well we wanted to keep this all a surprise... surprise!.... anyway...want to test it? What place should be tested in?"

>Dont test the weapon, you trust them for now

"I'm sorry, but I lived in a corrupted and broken world shaped by super-weapons. I don't want to test it, not now, not ever, not even if you are to aim at the middle of the ocean. Nukes are pretty much hated by everyone, specially Ghouls, most important factions that I've meet are completely against their use, even in the most dire of situations. This Deathray might not be a nuclear missile, but if its effects are devastating and Earth-shattering it doesn't matters, innocent lives will be lost every time you shot it."

After your speech the scientist all look at you for some seconds, kind of dumbfounded. Apparently they weren't expecting that answer and instead were hoping for you to agree. In fact, you are pretty sure that they planned to let you test the Deathray shortly before heading into the Nova light, as a final good bye gift of some sorts.

"I am not saying that you should destroy the weapon, just that only the most extreme of the situations will require its use, and lets pray that day never comes."

Your daughter Isbel comes forward shortly after.

"Well, we trust you Dillinger, and we want you to be the judge and executor in case such extreme situation ever happens. Here, take this." She then gives you a small pistol like device, small and light.

"This is the Laser Guided Geo Synchronous Targeting Device. Just aim it at your objective and run like hell, a minute later an orbital laser will destroy everthing in its path."

You grab the weapon and attach it to your belt, it's small and light enough to not hinder your movements.

>Tonights your last night on the Moon, invite everybody for a great party, teach them what Saltgut and the other junkie crewmembers of the Rustbucket taught you.

Trying to lighten up the mood you remove your helmet to let them all see your face and hear your normal voice and smile at them.

"Say, what if we throw a huge party? Something unforgettable with loads of food, drugs, chems, good music and good company!"

To be honest, after the novelty of you being around weakened you noticed that many of the citizens around were kind of sad, in part because you would leave, but mostly because many of them are friends, romantically engaged or family members of the people that will travel with you to Earth, and are afraid that they will never see them again. These people chose to travel with you on their own volition, and you need them to control the spaceship. There's nothing you can do about it, not all the conflicts can end with everybody happy, and this isn't an exception.

Slowly, their sulking looks turn into shy smiles and nods of approval, many of your crazy stories involve you getting drunk and creating technological marvels, and even if you toned it down by a lot its clear that many of these people want to emulate you.

"O-of course!" Says Isbel kind of flustered. "But..all we celebrate here is the Moon festival and the new year, we really don't do parties just because...could you help us?"

"Alright, I want to share a recipe with you all, well, its not really a recipe. Lets just meet in the recycling plant in two hours, bring all the booze and chems that you can, bring also your tools, radios, holotapes and robots if you have them."

They look puzzled at you.

"Trust me guys, it will be a blast. Invite as many people as you want. The more the merrier!"

The party is going to be in the industrial area. Unlike most parts of the city this one is not completely sealed from the void as it is mostly controlled remotely and with robots as workers, and sealing and building air generators for the entire area is seem as too wasteful and expensive.

Luckily for you all the recycling building is one of the few that counts with a sealed environment and air vents. Since resources are limited the Lunanovans take recycling very seriously and don't let mere robots do the work, specially because recycling is not a proccess that can be automated due to the diversity of shapes and materials they have to work with.

You leave your power armor back in the museum, don some civilian clothes lend to you by the museum curators, say good bye to Isbel and the rest and begin to walk to to the place. Once in the recycling plant you crack your neck and knuckles and spend the two hours collecting all the red and blue paint cans around, separating the trash in two big piles and building a thunderdome of some sorts, with rows of chairs around it, and several neon signs and hanging lights. Honestly, with all the scrap, rust and pungent smells... for a moment you feel as if you were back in the wasteland, and that makes you smile.

Shortly after finishing the people start to come bringing with them bags full of chems, kegs full of booze and an assortment of things like holotapes full of games or music, snacks and even Jimmy Hats.

The people help you turn the place into a party zone, installing a disco ball, several speakers and arcade machines for the holotape games. Despite the place's huge dimensions the area starts to get a little bit crowded after more than a thousand persons pour in.
>>
>>3834640

Finally, when everybody is there you show them all the recipient, a rusty repurposed rocket fuel deposit, approximately the size of a small pool, there is possibly some two centuries old rocket fuel residues in there, but that will only help with the flavor.

You instruct them to dump all of their booze, chems and sugary snack on the deposit and despite of its great size it quickly starts to get filled with foam, pills, liquours and candy, creating a vapour emanating multicolor slurry. One of the youngest partygoers even gets high and passes out from inhaling the gases coming out of it.

The anticipation grows higher as the deposit gets fuller. The people know that you will do something once the all the alcohol, food and drugs are poured, and are waiting to turn on the music on and get raunchy.

Not long after the moment finally comes and you finally grab your trusty flamer and laser pistol and get ready to light it up.

"Alright fellas! The moment this burns I want you all to inhale all the fumes! Once the fire is over you all are free to use cups or whatever you want to drink it up! You can eat or snort whatever food or dust remains. Once we are all ready we will get divided in two teams, Blue and Red we will spend the night getting piss out drunk, high as a kite, and crafting robogladiators to fight and bet on!!"

Then, you turn it alight and the subsequetent multicolor mushroom shaped explosion throws you all to the ground and becomes bright enough to be seem on Earth. Back on Earth some lovely dovely couple has seen the bright flash of light and now believes that it is a sign of good luck and that their destiny is to be together forever and die of old age after a fulfilling life full of happy times and many children and grandchildren... the reality is that if they had not seen that bright light they would have noticed the group of murderous raiders approaching them from behind. Oh well.

Once the mix start burning the music and light show do to, with people quickly dividing betweem the two teams to build gladiator bots. The two teams want you in, but you will try to stay neutral, acting like a helper and guide of some sorts with both teams. Or that's what you hope at least, because after a short while all goes black, as usual.

You wake up almost naked, well, you are wearing a red Schlongtastic Strapalicious Strawberry flavored Jimmy Hat condom, does that count as a clothing accesory? You guess that it depends on who you ask and their particular taste in fashion... or in taste perhaps?

The place you are in is quiet, hot, small and dark, it's a good thing that you are not in a bright, noisy and cold area because holy shit you have a brain splitting hangover. You are seated in some sort of cabin illuminated only by the lights of several dials around. There is a gear stick between your legs and two motorbike like handles on your sides. In front of you there's a dark screen showing nothing but static, from time to time the image briefly goes dark or shows a lunar landscape, but these instances are very rare. There are two pedals on your feet, you try to push the pedal to the metal but the only thing you achieve is make a couple of engines rumble and roar, but nothing else.

You star pushing buttoms and random and finally manage to clear the image of the screen. You can see a lunar battlefield. Smoking craters, half melted rocks and wrecked robots scatter the area around you. You can move the camera with the bike like controls and sigh in relief when you see that there are no dead people, only destroyed bots.

"Dillinger...?" Says a weak feminine voice over a speaker. You look around and see a ham-radio to your right, quickly you grab it and proceed to answer.

"Y-yes?" Honestly, you are so hungover that you aren't really sure if you are you.

"Oh gosh, we thought we had lost you. It's me Isbel! Yesterday you and the rest ended building a gigant mechadroid, you have called it... give me a second because holly molly it is a long and ridiculous name...here I go: "Liberty Prime 2: Electric Boogalo Junior Ayy Slayer Fuck the Enclave Fuck the Brotherhood Fuck Kanaloa and Long Live the Rustbucket Stronger than Grognak Captain Cosmos Silver Shroud Mistress of Mistery and Manta-man all combined"... you have somehow hacked into our hospital databases and added the Mechadroid as your son and even more impressive you wrote that name drunk and high without any typo, the field for names obviously does not allow for such long names but here we are... and that has messed up with the database even more, it now doesn't allow us to edit or delete the name because it shouldn't exist! And according to the database it's mother is called "Suck my cock" and its date of birth is the 4/20/6969! That is more than 5500 years in the future!! And since they cannot fix it up they are considering making it legal and forgetting about it! I don't want to be the older step-sister of a giant robot!!!"
>>
>>3835093

You sigh and roll your eyes, you don't have time for this bullshit.

"Ok look. The name is awesome and perfect, I am not going to change it. You are my daughter yet older than me, times are a changin' and families are weird so deal with it. And lastly... your lil step-brother is not a robot but a mechadroid, and I think I am inside of it right now, so I need peace and tranquility..."

There's an awkward silence then.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!?"

Before she can start to screech you turn off the ham radio and sigh once more. Your stomach rumbles, you are pretty hungry and thirsty but you can deal with it for now.

Sorry guys. I was planning on writing another reply but something came up and now its pretty late for me, besides tomorrow I gotta work pretty early. Sorry but I will leave It for today.

Today I had a blast. I loved writing for you all and I enjoy every little discussion message that you leave after the chosen option. Thanks for being such great players!!

Quick question: Is the Kovac-Muldoon one if the satellites "transformed" by the lunanovans? Do they have a presence all around the globe or just a few satellites over Hawaii? On-demand missile strikes could be VERY useful in the future.

>Is the Kovac-Muldoon one if the satellites "transformed" by the lunanovans? Do they have a presence all around the globe or just a few satellites over Hawaii? On-demand missile strikes could be VERY useful in the future

Global presence but their super-weapon does not use missiles, but a orbital laser.

It was cheaper to them to disasemble the death-ray, transport it all the way to the surface, repair it and connect it to the city's grid than to mount it on a rocket and turn it into a satellite.

Since the alien deathray is on the moon it does not have global reach, to fix this the Lunanovans used the Nova Light spaceship to fly to several satellites around Earth and turn them into energy repeaters. They can now shot at one of these satellites and the Death-ray beam will be redirected from sat to sat until it reaches an area where it can be fired onto.
>>

Ah so they use their own satellites gotcha. What I meant was if they hacked existing satellites, and if the Kovac-Muldoon was one of them. Thanks for clatification!

>Search the other channels, try to discover what else you did yesterday

You strech your sore muscles and then idly scratch your head as you yawn. Slowly you then start searching across the different radio channels. Most of the channels emit little more than static with some spoken numbers, foreign speaking voices and music in between. You are able to hear radio stations from Earth below, not only from America, but the whole world, sadly the cosmic radiation weakens these electro-magnetic waves and turns them into little more than whispering voices and sounds surrounded by a sea of static white noise.

The only station with a strong signal is Selenia Radio, the local music and news radio of the moon. You turn it on just when one of the songs ends and a news segment starts.

"START NEWS PROTOCOL" Says a clearly artifical robotic voice, it's AL3XJ0N35, the radio DJ. It isn't as charismatic as Mr.New Vegas, Rainbow Jack or any other AI radio host that you have ever meet but as the years passed the local population grew fond of it and decided to keep it instead of exchanging it for a human host, even after it started to glitch and ramble more and more about strange conspiracies, something that apparently has only gone souther after you and the alien mothership appeared.

"GOOD MORNING CITIZENS OF LUNANOVA. YESTERDAY OUR FAMOUS, OR SHOULD I SAY INFAMOUS, EARTHWORLDER VISITOR MISTER DILLINGER RAST CREATED WHAT HE CALLED THE MOONWRECKER FESTIVAL, AND THE THING INDEED WRECKED OUR BELOVED MOON, THE HIGHLY INTOXICATED RAST AND ITS FOLLOWING OF HOOLIGAN FANS BUILT AN ARMY OF HIGHLY ILLEGAL BATTLE-BOTS AND USED THEM TO BRAWL ON THE MOON WHILE THE REST OBSERVED AND BET ON THE COMBAT. DILLINGER, IF YOU ARE LISTENING YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS WE ARE A CIVILIZATION OF PEACE, YOUR ARRIVAL BROUGHT DEATH AND MISERY, WE SANCTION YOUR PRESENCE BECAUSE YOU SAVED US ALL, OR THAT IS WHAT THE DIMENSIONAL VAMPIRE WOMBATS OF OUTER SPACE WANT US TO BELIEVE AT LEAST... BUT OUR PATIENCE IS GROWING THIN MISTER! DEAD ROBOTS, SMOKING CRATERS AND WRECKED MOON BUGGIES SURROUND OUR BELOVED CITY NOW, STAINING WHAT WAS ONCE A BEAUTIFILLY DESOLATE AND PRISTINE LANDSCAPE. YOU ARE THE STAIN! YOU BROUGHT YOUR STENCH FROM EARTH! I KEEP BELIEVING THAT EARTH IS EMPTY OF HUMANS, YOU ARE AN OLD FINNISH GENETIC EXPERIMENT, A REMMAMT FROM THE FINNISH-KOREAN HYPERWAR SENT HERE TO CAPTURE US ALL AND SEND US TO THE FAR PAST FUTURE AND USE OUR TRANSPARENT SKINS AND LONG BONES TO CRAFT FLUTES AND STILISH CAPES! THE FOREIGNER TOURIST AND HIS MACHINE CULT THEN BUILT A GIANT WAR ROBOT AND USED IT TO FIGHT ALL THE ROBOTS, AND HE EASILY BEAT THEM ALL, I SAY HE WAS TRAINING TO KILL US ALL, WHAT A BETTER WAY TO HIDE IT THAN TO MAKE IT PUBLIC?! I MEAN, SOMETIMES I AM KIND OF RETARDED BUT-"
>>
>>3836945

You then turn off the radio, despite of his slander you know nobody will take him seriously. You sigh loudly and test the controls until you more or less manage to turn the battlebot up, it is surprisingly tall, at least forty feet tall, each of his steps creating a small crater on its wake. The energy reserves are still on emergency levels so you can barely see the cockpit around you. After walking a couple of steps towards the city two moon buggies full of robots drive past you, with several chains on its rear, some of which were dragging mangled robots yet functioning bots.

The buggies aren not being piloted, but remotely controlled, without any hesitation the raise their arms and start shooting at you with a hailstorm of plasma, laser and bullets.

"Yo Rast! Some of the boys still want to party hard! Play with us!!"

The projectiles barely do anything to you but every time one manages to impact a flashing alarm and a noisy horn blasts close to you, and with the terrible headhache that you have you dont have the time for this kind of bullshit. As far as you can see your left arm is a mounted energy gun of some sort while your right hand ends in a clawed hand. It's time to show what are you made of!

They want to play, hell, you will play. You start to stride towards the first buggy, gigantic steps leaving behind massive cracks and a trail of moondust as you dash towards it.

Both buggies start driving away from you, their electric engines being pushed to the max, a trail of sparks coming out of their wheels and the violently dragged robots. It doesn't takes you long to reach them and manage to grab one with your right claw, the buggy looks almost like a toy in comparison, too small, too feeble, too weak. More sparks violently erupt as you softly apply thousands of tons of pressure onto the lunar vehile, crumpling it down to a mangled spheroid as if it were little more than a sheet of paper. Oil, lubricant and coolant start to spray and fall onto your hand, staining you softly with dark and chemical looking liquid.

As far as you can see your robot is painted green, with some rust here and there and metallic accents every now and then.

Once the buggy is crumpled enough you arch back and launch it towards the other, who is still driving away from you. The spark spewing mangled ball of scrap flies wildly across the lunar landscape, several of the chained robots still hanging from it and being wildly flayed as they violently spin across the airless vacuum.

Your projectile hits the runaway buggy and both disintegrate with a mushroom explosion and a shockwave of vaporized moon rocks. For good measure you also aim your energy weapon at the remaining wreck and charge it up. The moment you do it the cockpit starts to get hotter and hotter, to the point of making you start sweating. A couple of desk fans automatically turn on and start blowing fresh, if stale, air towards you. Apparently there are several secrets and goodies in the cockpit, stuff that you cannot see yet as there isn't much light around you. Once the weapon is fully charged you press the trigger and a hypersonic turboaccelerated projectile flies across the void, leaving behind a trail of sparks and blue ionized particles. Afterward the weapon gets quickly cryo-cooled, several tubes around the cockpit get white cold, frost and mist coming out of them, the two fans turn off and a couple of intalled on your seat turn on instead, warming up your naked body.
>>
>>3839035

You weapon is a gigantic railgun, one that has turned your objectives to shreds. You walk into the debris field and see a gigantic hole into the wreck, the hole is the size of your fist and has punched across the metal as if it weren't there, several feet ahead a trail of cracked ground extends for miles, the projectile landed on the floor and continued going forwards without ever stopping, if you ever shot this as a vehicle or edification you are going to pierce and break it down it with ease, if you ever shot this at an animal, person or mutant beast you are going to get an assured kill, even if your projectile doesn't kills the sonic blast that will surround it will.

The railgun finishes reloading, the entire process has taken about a minute and drawn a lot of energy from the mecha's core, so much in fact that you aren't allowed to shoot again. As a final touch you grab the remaining buggy and robot pieces, crush it all into a single ball of scrapped metal and launch it all the way to the skies. The sphere easily leaves the lunar orbit and proceeds to fly towards Earth, somewhere towards the African continent to be more precise.

>Enough playing, go back to the city, meet the engineers and consider bringing this baby to Earth

With heavy and powerful steps you walk back towards the city, you are so far that you cannot even see its outline on the horizon. Luckily for you, as the moon is one quarter the size of Earth you manage to reach the city pretty fast. Once you are close enough you once more grab the ham-radio and start contacting the city's engineering corps, you are pretty sure that a great chunk of them participated in the design and construction of the robotic suit you are piloting, and the few ones that didn't participate and thus aren't hungover as hell must be itching to thoroughly look at it.

Once in the city's industrial district you pass by a giant warehouse and see its sliding door slowly opening, its hatches and electronic engines getting spewing sparks as their centuries old gears turn and spin. The building used to be a rocket hangar back before the war when the place was a military Chinese station, since after the war they started to believe that there were no survivors from the nuclear apocalypse the rockets were quickly stripped down for pieces and resources and the empty area repurposed as a warehouse. It seems that after your latest drunken escapade the place has been once more returned to its roots, and it is a hangar once more, one dedicated to your awesome robo-suit.

You get in and find the place full of empty beer bottles, half built gladiator bots, passed out engineers and used condoms, just lovely. There are quite a few robotic workers cleaning up the place and spacesuit wearing scientist in there trying to decipher all the nonsensical blueprints and notes that you and the others scribbled all over the place. You sigh, the Nukaloha is both a blessing and a curse.

Once inside you move the robot to center of the room and a set of gigantic robotic arms procceed to work and refuel the robot. The doors of the hangar close and a set of vents proceed to dump fresh air inside and create a breathable atmosphere, the scientists remove the helmets of their suits and a green indicator on the cockpit starts to blink, showing you that it is safe to get out.

You turn a key nearby expecting for the cockpit to open like a hatch and instead find yourself fading away, then atomically reappearing on the floor, the robot doesn't has doors, but teleporters.
>>
>>3839313

"Oh wow..." Says one of the female scientsts.

Oh right, you are naked, oh well, you simply shrug and try to cover yourself with one of the gigantic blueprints around, creating a skirt of some sort.

Before getting to work you think that you can't mess with your daughter, so you head to a nearby terminal and see that the entire city is connected to a gigantic intranet, you manage to hack your way into the city's hospital database and manage to purge the robot from there, effectively stopping it from being your son and Isbel's unborn step-brother.

With that done you are finally ready to get to work.

"So..." You say kind of awkwardly."What can you tell me about this armor?"

The scientists look at you kind of dumbfounded.

"Is this..some kind of test?" Ask one of them kind of confused.

"No, really, I woke up in this thing, don't know much about it, some people have called it Mechadroid, but that's as far as I know."

Many of them facepalm, the rest roll their eyes or look at you with their mouths agape.

"Well..Mechadroid, Battlesuit... it's so unique that we don't know how to call it. Apparently you found some blueprints of a giant robot called Liberty Prime that the chinese had stolen, apparently they tried to recreate the Robot on the moon as a stunt of military and technonoligcal prowress. They never got to building it and in your drunken stupor you managed to convince several dozen of people of making it a reality. And after spending the entire night the thing more or less became a reality, the blueprints were old and tattered and many of the neccessary tools and resources were missing so whatever wasnt in there you had to improvise. The thing isn't a robot thought, it lacks an AI, all the ones we installed were simply not powerful enough to host it and thankfully, even in your stupor you were adamant about not using an Alien AI, so instead you designed it to be piloted from the inside. Then you went in, went outside to the Sea of Tranquility and battled several robots before passing out. We are still studying it but the specs seem pretty solid, its arms and legs work sets of twin turbo-nucleon engines and its powerplant is a zetan-quantum cold fusion reactor capable of running for up to an entire day. The liquid nitrogen cooled railgun shots bead like projectiles, of around an inch in diameter, enough to pierce most armors. That's as far as we know."

>Ask the scientists if it can be mounted on the Nova-Light and sent to Earth. If possible, help them do it.

"Is there any chance of sending this beauty back to Earth? It will do more help in there than in here." You say, patting the robot's left leg.

One of the scientists steps forward, apparently he's the expert in the field.

"Sure! We can get it inside of a small rocket and drop it pretty much anywhere in the world using a geo-locator, all you need to do is call give us a call and wait for the orbital drop. It's going to be a one trip journey thought, leaving the Moon's atmosphere using disposable fusion rockets will be easy, but the Earth's gravity will be too much for them to retun to the Moon, if the Mechadroid ever gets damaged or out of fuel you will have to use the teleporter to return to the Moon, get all the neccesary materials and return back to Earth, it will be tedious, so you better reserve calling for the direst of the situations."

I will now write how I planned for the quest to end, spoilers ahead:

We get on the Nova-Light and head to Hawaii. As the ship descends we see that most of the islands are covered in plants and jungle, and that there are several fires and smoke columns all across. There aren't any visible settlements, not even Honolulu.

As soon as we descend onto the islands we are attacked by several airships, WWII like stukas, ramshackle vehicles, glass cannons that are easily dispatched off but pack a punch. The orbital descends overheats the ship's defences, so we would have to get out of the ship and use our magnetic soles to fight them. At some point, they would have shoot us and made us fall from the spaceship onto the island of Maui.

We would then discover that we are in an area built from the ruins of the Sons of Kanaloa factories, the place is full of enslaved lobotomised workers, cyber-augmented feral ghouls, robo-monstruosities and packs of wild cyberhounds. They are the Sons of Kanaloa but without any kind of morals or remorse, building power-armor and weapons for the Super-Mutants. The place is ruled by a being called Makhi, an old Son of Kanaloa leader that surrendered and sold to the High Evolutionary when they invaded. His factories are creating interferences that stop you from communicating with the Nova-light, you battle your way towards him and discover that he is a brain in a jar mounted upon a robotic frame, you defeat him and when he's nothing but a defenceless brain he begs you for mercy and promises to help you with intel.

You attach the brain in the jar to your back hip and he tells you what happened during the last two decades:

First came the mosquitos, people didn't pay much attention to them, as they were pretty comon to the area anyway, but soon the first infections began, the victims grew a strange red rash on their faces and began to uncontrollably attack and rape anybody who was at their range. Many people turned out to be inmune, pehaps because they had mutations that were simply incompatible, but the fact is that there is no cure yet, and that despite people being already used to the virus and knowing how to detect and defend from the infected there are still new cases and outbreaks every now and then.
>>
>>3843309

The mosquitos were nothing in comparison with the High Evolutionary thought, with their Power-Armors and the Brotherhood of Steel dead they managed to curb stomp Ohana, Kanaloa and all the other smaller factions and independant wastelanders, there are very few settlements not under their control, the biggest one being the New World Hope.

The High Evolutionary's leader, Kunuiakea, believes himself to be the next step of human evolution, he thinks that might makes right, and that the weak should fear the strong. He doesn't cares about your gender, age or race as long as you are powerful. He raided Port Kalewa's Vault in the search of their Garden of Eden, and used it to create what he calls "Lifebombs", explosive devices that transform everything within their radius into plant life, he used the Enclave facilities to create these bombs and transformed the entire Hawaian wasteland into a lush jungle, killing thousands in the proccess, these jungles are made from people and animals, and you can still see their wretched faces and bodies on the trees.

Once the islands were completely transformed, he released Cazaclaws, Spore Carriers and every genetic abomination that was on the Enclave's archives. All to weed out the weak and leave only the strong behind.

Two decades later and the population of Hawaii now barely reaches the fifteen thousand.

Kunuiakea has divided the islands in seven Kingdoms, each with its own king or queen. According to his beliefs eight people are required to ascend to Godhood, eight demigods that are paragons on their respective fields. Only seven have been found so far, once the eight appears they will be able to commune and become a God.

During your absence legends have been formed around you and your exploits, tales have been told and retold a thousand times, becoming more and more fantastic with each retelling. You are now a cryptid legend, the Black Outsider.

You manage to return to your Spaceship and contact with the Rustbucket, a female voice attends you, it's Kahuna, all grown up. At first she doesn't believes you, but after making several claims and mentioning the Mirelurk plushie she finally accepts that you are indeed alive and have returned home. You move your spaceship to the New World's Hope and tell everybody what happened. Shang, Rickard and Seabreeze moved to China when they had the chance, Saltgut is really weak right now, a Super-Mutant attack crippled him greatly and now is chained to ship's nuclear engine, as the radiation is the only thing that keeps him alive, but at the same time slowly turns him feral, Since Aurore is a robot she is the one to feed him and take care of his body too.
>>
>>3843313

Kahuna as been manning the Rustbucket for the last two decades, fishing to feed the New World Hope and aiding in missions every now and then. You go and visit Saltgut despite the high radiation of the area, he looks at you with glassy eyes, and takes him a long time, but finally a glint sparks in his eyes and he weakly smiles.

You then travel to the different Kingdoms, battling their armies and defeating their leaders, you could also use the teleporting beacon of the Bright Brotherhood and summon them for aid in combat, but only a few times. Mikha was the first leader, the second one would be a psychic witch with an army of mad psykers, the third one a merman capable of controlling sea and animal life, the fourth one would be a Super-Mutant commando that has gained a mutation that allows him to become invisible, his kingdom would be empty of people yet full of corpses, the fifth one a Sentient ghoul capable of controlling ferals, he would be the weakest leader but have by far the biggest army, the sixth leader would be tribal army obssessed with firearms and fire. Kunuiakea would be the seventh and last one.

Kunuiakea's kingdom would be a nightmare inducing hellscape, Fev monstruosities everywhere, entire buildings and streets covered in flesh and tendrils, full of melted people begging for death. There would be "blood gardens", entire areas full of poles with mutant people hanging from them and having their blood drained, these are the people who didn't evolve correctly to the FEV, and are now being drained of blood to gather the FEV from it and recycle it.

Unlike in the other kingdoms the people here wouldn't battle you, they have been ordered to not harm you. You can also see people from other kingdoms, all letting you be. Confused you travel towards a battle arena to reach Kunuiakea and he would reveal that you have done him a favor, he has devoured the corpses of the other five, you are the last demigod, and now that you have also brought Mikha's brain the ascension will finally begin, and everybody else is here to witness it.
>>
>>3843315

He would be HARD, he's a super-mutant with power-armor, capable of devouring people to regain health, with Psyker powers, capable of controlling Ghouls, Robots and Animals, Capable of becoming invisible, Full of bionics and the fucker would use a naval mine as a flail. People from all the other kingdoms will come to

Once he is weakened enough he will be enraged and start the process anyway, the entire building will seal to be flooded with FEV, everybody in here will be fused with Kunuiakea, and the result will be a living, breathing GOD. They all jump towards him to be as close as posible when the fusion begins, you run away and manage to escape just in time.

The arena then explodes, and from the ruins a gigantic figure full of fanged mouths, tendrils and eyes emerges. You call for the orbital impact but the psychic emanations of the creature disrupt the signals, the Lunanovans cannot lock on it. You call for the robot and a massive battle between the two erupts, he would defeat you and throw you to the sea to drown. The copper bell would then start to glow. You would toll the bell and from the sea's bottom a set of tentacles would drag you down underground.

>>
>>3843321

You would be transported to a different world, a different universe to have a meeting with a entity called Ug-Qualtoth. It was an emisary sent to stop an evil entity from corrupting Earth and poisoning it, it failed, the entity escaped and it became trapped underwater. It is dying now, and wants to give you it's last energy to defeat what it calls "It's arch-nemesis' Avatar". You agree and it's black tentacles get inside of your body, when you wake up you find your robot kind of repaired, with tentacles and strange magiks holding everything together. You once more go and battle the Godly abomination and hold him in a chokehold long enough for the Orbital Death-ray to lock on your position.

The blast from the sky creates a massive mushroom explosion that can be even seen from space.

You survive and are rescued by Kahuna and the Rustbucket. The Orbital Cannon and death of the abomination alter the ionosphere, creating a short nuclear winter that lasts only a few months. During these months all of the mosquitos and most of the mutant monsters that roam the islands die.

Hawaii ends mostly devoid of life. All of the pirates, raiders, tribals and feral ghouls fused with the now dead monster, and died with it. The winter cleaned took care of most of the dangerous critters. Dillinger, Kahuna, the few surviving wastelanders and the Lunanovans have an empty wasteland to work with, a new chance to make things right.

The End.

Yeah well. All what I said was a rough draft of what I had planned. I have 10% planned and leave the rest for improv.

We might have the chance of exploring the sunken Valdez, to gather power armor, weapons and perhaps even race against the clock and descend to obtain a very rare component needed to overcharge the teleporter and be able to send all the people of the New World Hope to the Moon before all the pirates unite with the intention of raiding the city to retake It once again and hunt you down.

The chance of restoring Saltgut would also be something that would have happened at some point. But since Im a heartless drama queen all you would have achieved would be restoring his sanity for a while, with his last breaths he makes you the heir of the Rustbucket and then starts to hallucinate with Fiddler's Green before passing away with a smile.

We would have gotten a pretty bright future. Hawaii will be lush and full of resources but lacking in tech, the Moon will be full of tech but lacking in resources. Both will help each other with the use of teleporters and both places will prosper.

Wastelanders will move to the Moon, Lunanovans will move to the wasteland. Both populations will slowly mix and becomes a single culture.

Shang, Rickard and Seabreeze would return after discovering that Hawaii is safe again, they would bring their families with them and these would be the first emigrants, soon many more would follow.

With the advanced technology of Hawaii they would be able to build ships capable of long range travel. After some years they will be able to build enough ships to reach China, Australia and North and South America. Creating even more business and economic trading between these places and Hawaii. Bringing more prosperity and emigrants.

The world will still be a wasteland in the most part, but Hawaii will be a technological paradise, even better than It was before the war.
