Howdy

***

We decide to use the extra space for better propulsion, hoping to make the probe both more maneuverable, and faster.

After discussing with the university team for a few hours, it looks like the new propulsion systems will be ready in a week. Well, that's quite fast from the drawing board to solid, factual reality. Thanks the gods for the [Craft] skill.

Alright, now let's see. We should:

>Escort our imoutos home, greet our family, then go farm exp and loot for a while
>Escort our imoutos home, then go get the [EXP Chainer] accessory

Don't be a lazy good-for-nothing.
>>
>>3842206
>>Escort our imoutos home, then go get the [EXP Chainer] accessory
>>
Once we get the EXP Chainer, we'll need to rethink our grinding strategy.

We'll need to see if the doubling XP infinitely doubles, or if there's a cap.
How deep we need to send a grinding team will depend on that.

Also it does mean that more Pets can go do something else, since we can't have multiple groups working on different floors, since we need to keep the monsters confined to a single type.

We make sure the itty bitty kitty and the itty bitty spider are done with their work and aren't forgetting anything in the lab, then make sure their ties are straight and their shirts buttoned all the way up, their hair presentable and their foreheads kissed, then go with them to meet the elf maid at the door, and walk them all home.

"Brother, no shoulder ride?" - asks Zoe as she holds our hand

>XP Chain
So since the floor after a Boss level always has only monsters the same type as the Boss, we can find a floor with non-sapient monsters that are all the same, to see if the series of XP has a limit.

For this experiment, I think we should recall all of our Pets, and select an isolated dungeon and floor, so that we can grind without meeting another adventurer party. We should also try it out with two Pet Parties; because we're the anchor for both parties, if one kills a monster, then the other party kills a monster of the same type, then the series should be unbroken. It would let the two groups alternate, letting one rest while the other grinds.

Yeah, as long as it is the same monster type, it should work.

"Alright." - we crouch down so our little sister can get unto our shoulders, then stand back up

Of course, there's no way a little kitten would be heavy. She's warm and soft and light, and leans slightly over our head to place her hands on our forehead as she holds on to us.

"Young master, you spoil your little sisters too much." - comments Kalkah, our family's newest maid
"It is alright. She's at the right age to spoil her, after all."

For some reason, Zoe doesn't seems as happy as we thought she'd be by our words, and gives us a very soft kick with her left heel.

Well, the evening is refreshing, this time of the year, so far up in the mountain range, so her warm body feels nice against us. The idea of keeping her as a scarf seems rather silly, so we should probably not tell her about it.

"Uuh... sister is so lucky... I'm too big to carry." - complains Portia, softly

Well... she's indeed too large. It would be easier for her to carry us than the other way around, but there's no way we'd ride on her, though.

Once we reach home and greet mom and Ellie...

>We refuse to let Zoe down just yet, playfully calling her our kitty scarf before going to pick up the [EXP Chainer]

We crouch down so Zoe can step off our shoulders, and take advantage of the height to smooch our smallest siblings and hand them over some snacks and toys.

"Eldric, don't make that into a tradition or they'll ask you for treats every time they see you." - Ellie admonishes us gently
"Alright."

We let our siblings beat us at card games and chess for a bit, before smooching Ellie and asking her to apologize to mom and dad for us, but we have to go and they aren't around to greet them in person right now.

Letting Athena go once we are done messing with her hair, squeezing and tickling her, we accept some cookies from Ellie and rescue both Aritsu and Dawn from our siblings' attentions before using [Treestride] again, and emerging...

If they’re there, we can tell them about the spreading of Succubi Chemistry Sets, and that the next probe should be able to launch sometime in a week.

We emerge from the young flower bushes in the keep's gardens, and are greeted by some of the local honey faeries as they pause in their work tending to the garden and the flowers on it.

Indeed, the local hive has grown quite large, though it is hard to see since they've built down on the cliffside, which means you need to use a telescope from the other side of the cliff in order to really observe their cute, white buildings.

Or fly down.

Well, it gives their settlement a very unique personality, and it seems to make sense for a people where everyone can fly to build out of reach of most creatures.

It is a bit encouraging to find that a few of the honey faeries have signed up as city guards, and been assigned to the keep, which means they can stay close to home and do valuable work. Well, its a bit hard to imagine the tiny faeries deterring would-be intruders, but there's levels in this world, and a level 40+ faery is clearly able to stop a level 20+ thief, after all.

We praise them for joining the local workforce and proving that they are indeed a civilized people, and not just because they have a "villager" or "noble" class now.

They seem quite happy, and nod along as we talk, then wave at us as we leave. Well, we can probably look positively at the future and expect them to do great things.

"Alright then, let's go in." - we hold Aritsu's hand, and pull gently
"Yes Master." - she replies with a smile

>Gently chide her for not calling us president. (We are in a public garden, she should keep her public persona and her private (toy) persona separate)

We pull our elven princess in for a little kiss, and gently whisper her that she's not a toy right now. She blushes so beautifully every time.

Let's give her a longer loving kiss. Yup

We go into the keep, and have to identify ourselves before the guards let us use the higher floor teleporters... it feels a bit weird that our own family guards ask us for ID, while the palace guards at either Ren or Mako's palace know us on sight.

I mean, should we think our guards are better at their jobs, or just worry that we don't show up enough for them to recognize us?

Honestly, it's not a bad thing that they ask for ID, as long as its about security standards... I think.

Stepping into the teleporter platform is like walking down a quiet hallway, and it takes a couple of seconds before we feel time and space hiccup and send us to the upper floors.

The guards at the upper floor had those very same seconds as a warning to know about our entry in advance, so they're at the ready when we show up.

Again, we're asked for ID

Hn. Thankfully they at least have numerous windows letting them look out into the city, or standing watch in a single room (though spacious) for hours would be mind numbing.

Once we leave the teleporters room and exit into the higher floors plaza, we could...

I hope nana Euphry didn't leave us milk and cookies assuming we would at some point check the room...

Anyway, we go to the lab, and find Okaba alone with Sykia and Aura.

It is a bit surprising to find Aura here, or at least more so than to see Asmund isn't present. Well, her pregnancy isn't advanced enough to be notable yet, and yet it is... I mean, she's almost glowing and her eyes look shiny from inside. Just a 'healthy' aura that looks beautiful on her.

We greet each other happily, and Okaba thanks us for serving as go-between with the imperial doctor.

"Please do visit us more often." - says Aura - "My king often complains about wishing he could host you more often."
"We do not." - says our friend - "But it wouldn't be a problem if you did,"

Is this a tsundere friend? Let's pass

"Alright, then we'll be imposing on you more often."
"fumu." - our friend nods approvingly
"So, what were you talking about when we arrived?"
"Your pet was telling us about the combustion engine." - explains Aura

Right, she's fluffy and friendly, but she's also the king's bodyguard and a genius, though a little bit airheaded sometimes.

Wait, do we -want- our fantasy world to go into a industrial revolution? Furthermore, do we want our genius friend with his own country to hace that sort of advantage?

Well, if we can trust anyone with that kind of thing, its him, after all.

"I'll write you a paper on gasoline. Its better if you skip on coal. Diesel would be good too, but I can guess you'll end up using magic to boil water... well, you'll see." - we nod
"Fumu. We will be thankful." - he replies

We talk for a bit, and then ask him about the progress in the lightning guns, which he explains has gone into a final prototye and will soon go into production unless we have any last minute suggestions. He hands us a copy of the blueprints and one of the prototypes, though it is the third they've done and is pretty much what the final guns will be.

Indeed, it looks like a Flash Gordon gun prop,,, it does look pretty cool.

Aura hands Dawn some fruits and treats out of her own [Inventory], which our strawberry maid stores away after thanking her for them.

>Take Sykia with us (for later lewds?)
Making her go home when she can't teleport or [Treestride] seems mean.
Besides, I'm sure that she'd love to have some lewds with our Pets or fiancees, and we'd be happy to see her happy.
>>
I was thinking maybe we should have a short IC talk about what we want Sykia to do for our pets and toys sex training moving forth. Since she too is reincarnated from earth, she would quickly understand if we just mention an adult toy by name. Also she speaks english so we can plan a surprise for the girls, like having Sykia make a double headed dildo or a strap on (with 1 or 2 phallus attached)
>>
>>3844038
We did set up a teleport platform network centering on our island manor, though, so she can go from the keep to the manor and from the manor to alquia.

Anyway, any suggestions for our pets and toys' further training?
>>
>>3844043
Sure, that's probably a good idea.
We've been delegating (pushing work onto others), and we should delegate more responsibilities to a fellow isekai.
>>
>>3844047
Ask her what toys she liked to use.
In private, she can molest any of the Pets and Toys to her heart's content. And if it's just us, kissing the Toys and Pets is also encouraged.

A surprise where she has a strap-on and is allowed to make the Toys into her playthings sounds fun.
>>
>>3844047
Sykia is allowed to be much more free with Pets and Toys on the island. She can play with restraints and different toys on the Toys and Pets while at the island manor. They should practice being watched and putting on shows for the maids, for when they put on shows for their Master.
>>
>>3844030
>>Take Sykia with us (for later lewds?)

Definitely give her permission to be dominant with the Toys when they're a Toy. Not sure about other times, though.

>Firmly reinforce our toys' place along the way

...and then talk with Sykia in english along the way, taking suggestions and offering naughty ideas on the training of our pets and toys.

***

We have our cute fiancées kneel down on the coach's floor, and feed them treats, having them eat off our hands while discussing plans for their further training with Sykia.

As we arrive at the manor, and gently but thoroughly clean their faces of crumbs while telling them that we're happy with their behavior and encouraging to do better in their training from now on.

"...so, make sure to do as Sykia says from now on, understood?"
""Yes, Master."" - they reply
"Uhmmm..." - Sykia looks quite happy about this situation

Once we descend from the coach and go into the manor, we're greeted by Eupharsyne at the door, then are guided in politely and offered to wash and wait for dinner.

Well, it has been a long time since we ate with uncle and grandfather...

We summon our family's butler by ringing on a crystal bell, and he appears within a minute... I assume its some sort of magical item that lets him know when someone is calling from somewhere in the manor? Its not like he's waiting outside the door, right?

"Did you call, young master?" - he asks while bowing politely
"Yes. I received your letter, and have come for the [EXP Chainer]. Do you have it at hand?"
"Certainly."

He pulls it out from his [Inventory], handing us a small wooden box. Its a very simple-looking box, with a clasp lock.

Opening it up, the bracelet lies inside, resting on a padded bottom. It is a rather simple looking bracelet made of silver chain links, with 4 gems imbedded at even intervals down its lenght.

Inde3e, our ring identifies it positively. It doesn't grant any defensive bonuses, however.

Asking Tupac for more items like it results in nothing coming from it, but he says he will continue to organize the storage room, and will let us know if anything turns up.

Soon enough, Nana Euphrosyne comes pick us up, and announces that dinner is served.

We let our horny strawberry maid do as she wants, and she stands by with herback against the wall, ready to heed any commands.

Well, I guess the path of the maid is more than familiar to traditional 'nobles' like grandfather and uncle, since neither of them seem bothered by it now say anything about it, and as the dishes roll in, Dawn secures a large white handkerchief to ours and Aritsu's necks, then promptly retreats to her post once more.

Talking about the city's defenses, there are of course the walls, but we already know that the [ERROR]s can walk through artificial structures as if they weren't there, unless they are 'emotionally charged'.

Grandfather assures us that the first to third wall have been built full of emotions thanks to the tradition of the city orders of errant knights of asking those they've helped to donate a stone to the walls, which means that every stone in those walls is, indeed, emotionally charged.

Well, its a process that has taken perhaps thousands of years. We're talking about enormous walls, and wach surround consecutively larger sections of the city. It leaves the two outermost city destricts vulnerable, but it is still better than nothing, and we can evacuate people towards the inner districts, as well.

As for Fleur, she's been seeding the area at the feet of all the district walls, so there's a good chance her plants will prove a very agressive defense, as well, and the largest, first lightning gun prototyes still have to be placed...

The [ERROR]s are fighting differently than before. We can't depend on them being mindless.

Though we should bring up the fact that the knowledge of Plant Monsters being a weakness of the [ERROR]s should never have been allowed to be lost by the Lightbringer Family, and that it is a stain on our honor that such incompetence was allowed to occur.
We need more people with the Beastmaster Job who have Plants, to prepare for the invasion.

>>Suggest we place them in the third district wall, to help defend the evacuated civilians

Our uncle and grandfather agree, and that's it for immobile defenses. The rockitship shipyards have been working non-stop to build a fleet of small 4-crew rockitships with whaler-sized lightning guns to patrol the walls as needed, and the Keep's generators have finally been repaired, which means we can stretch the shield all over the city once again.

"Should we demolish the bridges?" - asks our uncle

The [ERROR]s famously cannot fly, and the keep is atop a thin, extremely high plateau in the middle of a grand canyong, connected to the flatland on either side by an extremely long bridge. If we took it out, it would be a massive delay for the [ERROR] advancement... but would also prevent us from evacuating people into the keep if all the outer walls are breached

>We're talking about the safety of the multiverse. Honestly, we've prepared with the people in mind so far, but we have to look at the bigger picture!
>The people are first. It is finally our time to shine! We can fabricate some good 'ol chemical explosives and detonate them on the bridge if needed, no need to demolish it beforehand and wreck morale

>>3855530

I wonder if we could encourage one of our Island Maids to start writing slave romance novels, like Lyann likes. But with an emphasis on Ladies having romances with their Slave Maids.
Man, I don't know about helping to introduce bodice-ripper smut novels to this world.

Wait, doesn't that assumes that
1- All the walls have fallen and the [ERROR]s are eating the population while advancing towards the keep
2 - They are also slaughtering the plant monsters, some of which may manage to evolve sentience through this fight

You sure?
>>
>>3855731
Oh, I thought we could use the bridges as another delaying tactic, since we know that the [ERROR]s could only attack across the bridges.

Because if we were blowing up the bridges, then that would mean that the walls have already fallen, civilians have been evacuated into the Keep, and the [ERROR]s are advancing towards the Keep anyway.

So I thought that having the bridges be another battlefield that can reduce the [ERROR]s numbers and then be take away to delay them even more, would be good.

But I see what you mean about Plants on the bridge developing sapience and then us being conflicted on whether to blow the bridge while they're still on it.
>>
>>3855731
>>3855755
Well, if we don't want to have to make a morally agonizing choice in the future, let's just change it to
>The people are first. It is finally our time to shine! We can fabricate some good 'ol chemical explosives and detonate them on the bridge if needed, no need to demolish it beforehand and wreck morale
Sykia would probably like setting up the explosives for best effect, using her engineering knowledge.

Though, I suppose we don't have the time to simply make the two bridges into drawbridges that can be raised, do we?

Uhmm... we could, but they wouldn't be pretty things. Its a long bridge of ancient white stone. I think there was one in the Diablo II lord of destruction intro cinematic. Go look at it if you haven't seen it

Beauty is always important.

When a company throws a waterpipe over a cliff to bring water to a town, ppl complains about it, but are okay with paying lots of money to go abroad and see a roman aqueduct. Its the exact same fucking thing, but the aqueduct is a lot prettier.

We complain when a forest is burn down to make farm land, but I've never seen anyone actually protesting a corn field gently swaying in the wind. It looks nice, so we don't mind it.

Yes, sorry, was arguing with someone

"Explosives, is it?" - says our grandfather - "Like fireballs, then?"
"But ones that anyone can cause to explode by pulling a lever down."

Our grandfather seems rather interested. Well, he has gone through two wars, so its impossible for him not to think of the implications. He asks us about the pros and cons, and comes out sattisfied.

"How strong do you think you can make them?" - he asks at last
"Strong enough to take out a section of the bridge, certainly."
"That's a very well made bridge."
"There's craftmanship in explosives too, you know?"
"Hm."

"I trust the president to know what he is doing" - our cute elf bride breaks into the conversation
"Is that so?" - replies grandfather - "You know him well enough to become engaged to him, so I'll take your word for it." - he says with a gentle smile

I couldnt make a new thread. I have two images for OP post that I cycle through, and the thread of 4-5 weeks ago is still up so the pic is still in use. If 4-5 weeks is fine, I guess we don't need a new thread yet, so continuing in this one.

We're in the middle of a dinner with grandfather and uncle Wolfric in the Eopolis manor. Aritsu and Dawn are with us, albeit our horny strawberry maid is standing by, waiting for a chance to make herself useful as a maid should.

We decided to place the larger lightning guns on the 3rd city wall, and develop explosives to place on the bridge connecting the keep to the rest of the continent.

***

"I will need to check for all available resources so I can make the best possible use of them..." - we start explaining how a lot of different things can be used to make explosives
"I see, it shouldn't be too hard to request a list of available goods from merchant guilds." - comments our uncle
"And the adventurer's guild," - adds grandfather - "Adventurers bring back all sorts of different goods depending on the type of dungeon that is closest to it."
"That actually sounds like it will take a few days, at least." - our elf princess is already thinking about how to contact the guilds (merchant and adventurers) across the continent

>Let's settle for the city guilds. We need the explosives now
>Let's wait until we have at least a continent-wide list of available goods. Slow and steady wins the race

heh, considering we do have the stealth skill and the detect passive through classes, we can technically be a shadow's worst nightmare since we can locate them no matter what and they cant locate us.

Just stealth up to one, then hugcuddle and headpat, ignoring her attacking us or trying to flee. Our stats are just much much much higher than theirs

"In that case, we'll get started on that tonight by writing as many letters as possible, then sending them off tomorrow."
"Please leave that to me." - says our cute elven secretary
"Alright."

Once dinner is done with, we...

That way we can take Lyann with us as we go visit Stella again (because of how delicate the situation with Bastion is). We also need to recall our XP grinding teams so that we can equip the [EXP Chain] and set them to the proper grinding pattern.
>>
Which reminds me, we probably should spend tonight studying the bracelet together with Lyann so we can make copies of it by morning
>>
>>3857020
Yes. We need to properly identify it, analyze it.
But wait, wouldn't that be best done with the help of Aritsu and Dawn, since they also are at PhD levels?
>>
>>3857029
>>3857020
Ah, no. Aritsu and Dawn need to write those letters.
Wait, what if we have Kya help Aritsu with the letters, and Dawn and Lyann help us with the bracelet?
>>
>>3857031
>>3857029

Lyann is researching magic item crafting, though
Aritsu is researching abbreviated/chantless spells
Dawn isn't really researching anything. She's the typical scatterbrained succubus thats a genius at anything that manages to keep her interest
Kya just started her college stay over, and doesnt has any real academic objective right now beyond general eduction
>>
>>3856992
>>Take Aritsu, Sykia and Dawn back to Mako for their nightly training
>>
>>3857039
Okay, so here's what I was thinking:

Lyann - assists in analyzing and copying the [EXP Chain]
Aritsu - Writes the letters to the guilds
Kya - (because of her Royal background which should have included writing formal letters) assists Aritsu in writing letters to the guilds
Dawn - keeps Mako company
>>
>>3857048
seems fine to me. Any other suggestions?

>>3857046

>>Take Aritsu, Sykia and Dawn back to Mako for their nightly training

Stella happily (but gracefully) trots over to Lyann and hugs her, happily smooching her beloved big sister. Yup, they look cute together.

Lyann gently rubs Stella's cute puppy ears and face, then has her step back a little bit and hands her a package of treats she got from Mako for her.

"Thank you." - our puppy imouto wags her tail happily
"Open it later." - says our redhead
"Alright." - Stella nods nods, then turns towards us - "Big brother, did you have lunch already?"
"I had dinner." - we smile at her

Time zone shenannigans

She looks at us with raised eyebrows for a moment, then goes 'oooh' and nods in understanding.

Well, over here, we still have most of the evening available.

We do have to test the [EXP Chain] to see if it stops doubling XP after a certain number of procs.

Ah, damn, I forgot to ask Tapac if there's an item that can eliminate our need for sleep.
>>
>>3857157
>Ah, damn, I forgot to ask Tapac if there's an item that can eliminate our need for sleep.

We have lots of those, though? Rings of ]Sustain take away the need for sleep, eat, air, and food and Lyann has one.
>>
>>3857154
>>Lets go check the local guilds, start working on that
>>
>>3857174
But then why did Lyann complain about needing to maintain her cat nap schedule?
>>
>>3857190
Several reasons

It is part of her "waiting for Eldric" thing. The ring doesn't let her grow/age, together with her slave collar, and she plans to remove it once Eldric reaches 17 because her dream was very very simple: She wants to age together with him

Once she removes it, she'll need to rely on her catnap schedule to stay up and ever ready for him, she's getting used to it already

The ring is simply not as satisfying. You -can- get a intravenous drip and not need to eat. Do you want to?

The ring makes it so she -can- stay aware and conscious, but doesn't give her the same refreshing feeling as dreamless sleep.

Then again with her huge submissive/slave fetish, if we ask her to stay awake 24/7 for us, she'll probably be happy to. Same if we ask her to stay physically 17 forever, probably.
>>
>>3857199
I thought we didn't have a Ring of Sustain on us.
Do we have one now?

Lyann has had one for a while, though... or was it just an effect on her collar? Anyway if we haven't spoken about it with her, maybe just mention to her that we'd like something like it.

By the way the golem automata at the generator room entrance can scan people's morals and ethics. Jsyk. Stuff like loyalty, courage, honesty, etc in a scale from 1 to 10. They won't let a disloyal, untrustworthy person in. Just saying.

***

We take our imouto with us, and go check the local merchant guilds. Along the way, we gently caress her back and fluffy ears while she sits on our lap, happily wagging her tail and sinking her pretty face against our chest.

"Hn... it makes me a little jealous." - says our beloved redhead with a little smile
"I love sister too!" - says Stella while looking at her. She sticks to us, though
"...I love you too." - says Lyann with a small but genuine smile

Yeah, she was talking about us, not her, wasn't she?

We need to push Stella off so we can descend from the coach once we get to the commercial area, and begin walking down the streets, visiting the different guilds.

"It'll take a while for them to ready the lists, should we..."
