Seventeen years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza’s army. Since that fateful day, the Saiyans have more than earned their title of warrior race. After the now-legendary Siege of New Salda broke the might of the Covenant’s empire, no other empire has dared to openly challenge the PTO’s military superiority, or the mighty Saiyans in battle. Entire systems have surrendered without a fight, thanks in part to the battle being spread far and wide through the Vox media empire. But how long can the might of the Saiyans remain unchallenged?Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 748. You the players control Karn, a Saiyan with a last-recorded powerlevel of 14,139,700, a general in Lord Freeza’s army, husband and mate to Meloka, father of many, champion of New Salda, wielder of the Stand Dragon Force, and as “The Dragon of New Salda” you are the unbroken symbol of the PTO’s might across the stars. The Saiyan race has enjoyed an unprecedented time of peace, but it seems that peace may br coming to an end.Character Sheet, powerlevels, and other pastebins: https://pastebin.com/u/GrandDragonQMArchive link: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=Saiyan+Conqueror+QuestQuest rules:>PICK ONE option when voting, unless otherwise stated>20 minute votes, 3 votes minimum to proceed>Only first 3 correctly rolled die count, best of 3 wins>If any two roll posts are within the same second, they will be counted as one roll and I’ll take the higher number(s)>Crits are nat 100, unless otherwise noted(a 99 may net you an extra bonus)>Crit fails will count ONLY if a 1 is rolled and no roll passes the DC, OR two 1s are rolled>Two 1s will OVERRIDE a 100, resulting in a catastrophic crit failure>I hold final say on any/all decisions>Write-ins are both allowed and encouraged, but can and will be shut down at my discretion>I can change any of the above rules at any time for any reason whatsoever>Have funQuest will usually start every Saturday at 12pm EST, and run throughout the entire weekend. >>3879587Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:After coming face-to-face with Aku from another timeline and freeing him from his prison, Karn obtained a magical sword and was returned to Towa’s realm. Reunited with his rather large family, Karn spent two weeks in Towa’s realm, adjusting his technique to using a physical sword with weight, mass, and momentum. While there, both sides of his family grew closer together, fully Saiyan and half-Demon children spending the time getting to know each other. Once back to his own time, and after a good night’s rest, Karn made a shocking discovery. As we rejoin Karn, you’ve come face-to-face once more with the Grey scientist, Dr. Nefarious, disconnecting him from your ship’s central computer.“It’s too late, fool.” Nefarious taunts. “I have been observing you and your pitiful efforts, but all your work is for naught! Everything you can do has been sent to Hatchiyack’s processor. There is nothing you can do now, you and your entire race are doomed! You shall all die! Muuhahahahahaa!”“You first.” you say, crushing his oblong head in your hand. As strong as you are now, his head doesn’t offer much resistance, crushing it before the doctor could utter another word. You drop the remains, idly stomping it flat as you turn your attention to the monitors. “Alright asshole, what’ve you been up to?”Going over the display, it seems in the last moments he was connected to your ship he’d been trying to set it to self-destruct, but fortunately you’d stopped him before he could initiate it. A few key presses later, and it goes away, you wondering for a few moments why your ship even has a self-destruct? But that aside, you don’t know what other sorts of damage Nefarious was able to do. After all, you’re no computer tech; it may as well be another language for all you understand. But you do know he was somehow setting the planetoid’s progress backwards, but why? Unless...“Shit.” you mutter, realization dawning. You don’t have a month to prepare. He has to have been setting the tracking information backwards for some time, but for how long? How many nights did he slip in here, changing the information before you or anyone saw it? And most importantly:What do you do now?>Get the tech guys in here, now. Find out just how far Nefarious’s infiltration of the ship’s systems went>Telepathically tell King Vegeta, he needs to know what’s happened immediately >Go wake Meloka and the kids to get the younger ones out, your time may have already run out>Go find Ubo first, get him to fly out and check on the approaching planetoid’s progress himself>Other(write in)40 minute vote

>>3879590“Dammit.” you mutter, unsure of what to do next. Technology has never been your strong suit, you’re more suited to simply smashing problems. But you know one man who may be able to fix this, or know someone who would. So you focus your mind, and think.“King Vegeta! Are you awake?” you ask out telepathically, getting a reply almost immediately.“Karn? What’s going on?” Vegeta asks you back. He knows something’s wrong, just from you contacting him like this. “What happened?”“We’ve got a problem.” you say telepathically, quickly filling him in on everything that just happened and what you saw.“Dammit. That bastard just doesn’t quit.” Vegeta says after you explain everything. “Alright, I’ll gather the PTO techs and have them meet at your ship. Don’t use any of your official comm channels, or any of your ship’s systems.”“Got it.” you reply. “I’ll gather my crew and tell them all as well. Don’t need one of them setting something off accidentally.”“Be careful Karn.” Vegeta tells you worriedly. “If he’s been inside your ship’s systems, there’s no telling how much damage he’s caused.”And then he ends the link, you going over to your ship’s internal comms and opening the speakers.“Attention. This is not a drill. All crew members, report to the bridge.” you say. “Repeat. This is not a drill. All crew, to the bridge.”You then shut off comms, walking over to the captain’s chair and sitting down. But you don’t sit long, getting back up after less than a minute and pacing back and forth. There’s too much you don’t know, there’s possibly a threat to your family and there’s nothing you can personally do about it. You don’t like this feeling of helplessness, grumbling as you pace back or forth. After what feels like an eternity, your ship’s entire crew is assembled on the bridge before you. Most of your family isn’t here, most likely either starting their trainings or still asleep, but Broly is. Your son, who’s started growing taller and taller, is waiting at the back of the room watching.“Alright everyone, we have a problem.” you say, pointing to the smashed remains of the Dr. Nefarious bot. “We had a rat. Dr. Nefarious was in our computer systems, and as of right now we don’t know the full extent of the damage. King Vegeta’s bringing in the techs to check out the systems, and see what all that bastard did.”“Excuse me Karn.” one of your pilots, Guprei, says, stepping forward. “What do you mean, damage?”“He was hooked up to our systems.” you say, gesturing to the wires sprawled out from the nearby terminal. “When I caught him, he tried to set the ship’s self-destruct.”cont
>>3879799This revelation is greeted by several worried gasps, several of your crew murmuring among themselves. With a gesture you silence them, and continue speaking.“With that said, we’re now in an emergency situation.” you continue. “All non-essential systems are to be shut down until the full extent of the damage is assessed. Vegeta’s bringing in the techs to examine everything. Everyone understand?”A chorus of “Sir”s and “Aye”s, shout out from your men, your men splitting up to begin shutting your ship’s non-essential systems down. But while your men begin filing out, Broly remains standing there. Your instincts tell you something’s wrong.“Hey Broly, everything ok?” you ask as you walk up to your son.“They’re coming.” he says to you after a moment’s pause. Not as a question, just a statement of fact. “We’re gonna have to fight again, aren’t we?”Well?>As long as people think they can hurt us, we’ll have to keep fighting>That’s why we train. >>3879897“Yes, they are.” you say with a heavy sigh, laying your hand on his shoulder. “And that's why we train like we do, so we can be strong enough to beat them when the time comes.”“But why?” he asks, clenching his fists in frustration. “Why can’t they just leave us alone?”“Well...” you say, hesitating. You know Nefarious, at least, is still seeking revenge for what the Saiyans did to his people all those years ago. But you’re not sure how much he already knows, nor what you should tell him.“Dad?” he asks uncertainly, and you decide to tell him everything.“Well, this may be partly our fault.” you say, Broly looking at you confused. “Years ago, we were waged war on another empire competing with Lord Freeza. They were losing ground, so they attacked Planet Vegeta, which was our home. So in return we went to their homeworld, killing them and then destroying it.”“You, you really destroyed their home?” he asks, seeming genuinely shocked. “Why?”“Well, the late King Vegeta did, not me.” you say, then continue. “We’d hoped that taking them all out would end the war, but it didn’t. Somehow Nefarious escaped his peoples’ fate, and has been seeking his revenge ever since. He’s been plotting our extinction, attacking us with his minions several times after that. When we saved Bardock and Raditz on Kvir’s moon, we finally killed Nefarious himself. I thought it was finally over. But it seems that even after dying, he’s never going to give up trying to kill us.”Broly seems disheartened to hear this, shoulders slumping.“So no matter what, we’re gonna have to kill them.” he says, looking down at his hands. After a moment he clenches them, you feeling his ki spike for a second before he sighs, powerlevel stabilizing.“You don’t have to fight.” you say, putting your other hand on his shoulder and looking him in the eyes. “If you don’t want to so , I won’t force you. You can go with the others who won’t be fighting, and hide out until the battle’s over, if that’s what you wish. Your mother also doesn’t like fighting, not like this.”“She doesn’t?” he asks you, you nodding and releasing his shoulders as you continue. “But if she doesn’t want to, then why?”“Because she can.” you say simply. “Your mother and I, you, and your siblings are Super Saiyans; we’re the strongest fighters of our race. If we don’t fight to save our people, who will?”cont
>>3880408“I-“ he starts, but you’re not done. Not yet.“I know you’re scared Broly, and truth be told I’m alittle scared too.” you tell him. “Even after everything I just went through, I’m not sure I can win this. But I certainly can’t win it alone. I’m not gonna ask you to choose now. But when the time comes son, you’ll have to make a choice. But no matter what you choose, make sure it’s a choice you can live with afterwards. Do your best not to make choices you’ll regret.”“I...I understand.” he says, nodding then looking up to you. You notice he’s got a fire in his eyes, your son then leaving the bridge with purpose in his movements. You certainly want him to help in this coming fight, in fact you were counting on it. But if he doesn’t want to fight, you won’t make him. He may have to do plenty of fighting he doesn’t particularly want to do as he gets older, but he’s still a kid. Despite all his power, he’s only about as old as you were when you killed your first Tufffle. You can’t expect too much out of him yet.But what now?>Go get your sword, you need to visit the armorer and see if he’s got or can make a scabbard for it>Go to Jotaro, and start your morning Ascended Berserker training. >>3880484Finding yourself alone, and with nothing else urgently needing your attention, you decide to go get dressed. Quickly walking back to your room barefoot through the halls, you try not to think about what Nefarious could have done. After all, it’s done now, whatever he did, and you’ll know soon enough. So you return to your room, throwing on your boots, gloves, and armor. Once dressed you go to leave, then turn back. Leaning against the wall, you see both your greatsword and hammer resting idly there. You debate on taking either with you, but after a moment’s indecision reach out and take the magical sword. After your short but intense training in Towa’s realm, you barely notice the weight of the blade. Hefting it up, you rest the decorated ricasso on your right shoulder while holding it with one hand, walking to your ship’s exit.“I should get something to hold this.” you think to yourself, as you adjust the sword resting on your shoulder. Mind made up you lift up into the air, but before you can take off someone calls you.“Hey, Karn.” Jotaro says, you turning to the young man in the long white coat. “What’s that?”“Oh, this?” you ask, holding the sword out towards him. Jotaro takes it, cautiously gripping it with both hands as you release it. He can’t keep the blade upright, Star Platinum’s arms reaching out and grabbing it as well to steady him. “It’s a magical sword I found.”“This thing’s heavy.” he says, clearly straining. You take it back, again resting it on your shoulder. “Good grief.”“Yeah, I’m going to get something to hold this.” you tell him. It didn’t have a scabbard or anything, but I’ll need something so I don’t have to always carry it.”“Well have fun with that. Star Platinum, Za Warudo.” Jotaro says, vanishing in thin air. You then lift into the air, quickly flying over to the city and touching down outside the armorer’s place. You reach out and open the door, a bizarre sight before you.“Look pal, the price is the price.” the familiar yellow, spiky creature behind the counter says to the cloaked form. ”Either pay up, or get the hell out. I won’t tell you again.”“Or what?” the cloaked form says, mechanical voice dripping with menace. >>3880813“Hey now, there’s no need to get violent.” you say easily, the hooded figure and armorer both turning towards you. The yellow-skinned creature’s eyes widen upon seeing you, or more accurately your sword. He glances between you and the hooded figure, ready to bolt at a moment’s notice. But the cloaked form, however, doesn’t seem impressed. You see the creature balance it’s weight, lowering it’s center of gravity and holding it’s hands out. You notice the metal claws it has for hands, a metal cylinder leaping out from the depths of it’s cloak into the being’s right hand.“General Karn.” it says, voice still oddly robotic. “I’m not here to kill you, but I will if you interfere.”“Karn, be careful.” Bane says, the specter speaking directly into your mind. “I sense a tremendous well of Dark Side energy within him. Whoever than man is, he’s dangerous.”“So he’s not just some machine?” you reply telepathically, making no further move and staring the hooded figure down. You don’t make any threatening moves, taking a single step to your right. With that move, you remove yourself from the path between that man and the door. But as you do, you extend your ki senses. The man’s ki is decently powerful, you’d say his strength is somewhere in the low 7-digits. But with Bane claiming this man is attuned to the Force like he is, it makes you hesitate. So you again address the figure, gesturing to the door with your left hand. “If you’re not gonna pay, get out. Some of us have things to do today.”The cloaked figure seems somewhat off put by your casual dismissal, has no idea how to react. He simply remains standing there in place, studying you. After a moment the figure seems to make up his mind, lifting his left arm towards you. Your instincts scream at you that he’s about to attack, giving you an instant to react. So you do, focusing your ki and encasing your body within your Unmovable Energy Body. Surprisingly you can’t also coat your sword within it, the aura not traveling up the blade. But you have no time to question it, as a storm of lightning explodes from the man’s left hand. You’re trapped within a storm of lightning, but fortunately your armored ki holds the bolts back. He tries to electrocute you for several seconds, but when he sees his attack isn’t working he switches tactics.cont
>>3881091The man tosses his cloak aside, revealing a creature who is part-man, and part machine. Your eyes widen in surprise, seeing him activate his weapon. The sword in his right hand springs to life, your foe holding the blade in a surprising reverse grip. But as he activates the blade you end your ki technique, and as if by instinct grab your greatsword with both hands and swing. Magical metal clashes with cutting energy, the sword surprisingly stopping the attack. For a moment you’d feared the energy sword would cut your greatsword down to size, but the magical weapon handles the heat and surge of energy with ease.“Wh-what?” he says, shocked. The man, clearly not expecting your sword to stop his attack, leaps back, giving you a chance to study him. His hands are prosthetic, along with his right forearm and presumably more, but the rest of his body except upper arms are covered. What you can see of his skin is sickly, deathly pale, causing you to doubt if he’s actually alive. “That sword...Hmph, no matter. Stand in my way, Saiyan, and you’ll die.”Well? He spins both blades once, twice, three times, slowly walking towards you.“Last chance to walk away.” you say, forcing your muscles to stay loose. Tensing up will only slow your reaction speed, and while that’s not a real issue with the current difference in power, it’s a bad habit to get into. “Neither of us needs to get hurt.”“Then you shouldn’t have gotten involved.” he says, and before you can see anything coming to react, a massive force crashes into you. It feels like an Oozaru-sized fist of air slams into you, smashing you into and through the front wall of the armorer’s shop. You’re sent back into the street, several passerby crying out in surprise. While violence isn’t exactly unheard of in the Saiyan city, it is still uncommon enough to quickly draw a crowd. You hear the murmurs of the quickly-growing crowd of Saiyans, many having not seen you fight in quite some time. But you’re not here to put on a show, this guy’s dangerous.“Everyone, get back!” you shout, the dangerous man paying no attention to the crowd as he begins stalking towards you. Again he fires the massive shockwave at you, but this time you’re ready. You see the air itself seeming to ripple as the shockwave travels towards you, tearing up the ground as it travels. You quickly brace yourself, sword held before you as the shockwave hits. The crowd around you is blown away, several crying out as they’re blasted away. You hold your ground, his attack only pushing you back perhaps an inch or so. But it’s clear you’re not gonna be able to talk it out with this guy, who’s once more walking towards you. “Alright, asshole. You want a fight? You got one.”What now?>Rush and Djem So with your sword>Rush and Su Ma with your sword>Dual wield with your physical greatsword, and use your Super Ki Blade in your left>Set down your blade, and use your precise, ranged ki attacks to put this guy down for good>Lead him from the city, so you can fight without holding back so much>Go Berserker, give him one last chance to back down>Other(write in)

The warrior before you simply raises his left blade, catching both beams with the energy.“Is that your best?” he taunts, as you end your beams. “Then you will DIE!”He tosses his left-hand’s blade at you, it spinning far faster than his throw would’ve suggested it would go. It’s also moving far faster, but that doesn’t mean he can hit you.“My best? Ha!” you say, simply jumping up and over the spinning sword. But you don’t come back down, flying and holding altitude a couple dozen feet in the air. “I haven’t even started taking you all that seriously yet.”“WHAT?!” he shouts indignantly, absently catching his blade back with his left, while sending another storm of lightning toward you with his right. “You worm!”“C’mon, you gotta try harder than that!” you taunt, dashing straight backwards away from his attack. He snarls, ending the attack and leaping into the air. With a few shouts he fires three quick blasts of force energy, you bracing yourself and letting the shockwaves send you flying backwards further and further. You let his attacks blast you further and further away, the Sith quickly pushing you out of the city. With each hit you taunt him, further enraging the cyborg. With a final roar he focuses both hands, unleashing a massive blast. You brace yourself, flipping backwards once and landing on the ground. Your feet and left hand carve trenches in the ground as you slow yourself, sword held back and away to avoid cutting yourself. “Shut your mouth!!” he snarls, landing before you. “You bastard, I’ll kill you!!”“Oh, will you now?” you ask, rising up to your full height. “ You poor bastard, you don’t even know just how outmatched you really are. Here, let me show you.”And with a small effort of will you stop restraining your aura, letting 100% of your Ascended Super Saiyan power free. Lightning dances in a fierce storm around your body as you cut loose, green aura blazing wildly as theentire planet trembles beneath you. The mechanized Sith is seemingly caught off-guard by the display of your real power, taking a step back.“Oh no, it’s too late to back down now.” you say, dashing around behind him. A moment later your afterimage fades, the Sith turning around and taking his stance. But you can feel his uncertainty, and can’t help but smirk. “Just remember, you were the one who asked for this. >>3881655“You can’t beat me.” he says, lightning gathering in his hands. You watch as the electricity travels up his twin blades, shrouding each energy sword in sparks. But that’s not what draws your eye, as you see Mekoka suddenly appear right behind him! With the first two fingers of her right hand to her forehead, she’d clearly used Instant Transmission, having no doubt felt you unleash. Woth her left hand, you see she already has her Ki Blade drawn, swinging for the back of this assassin’s neck. Her approach and attack were almost instantaneous, but somehow he’s able to dodge! You watch on, shocked as he ducks her swing, twisting and thrusting his right-hand blade at her chest. But Meloka is far too quick for him, easily twisting aside and spinning away from his blade. Backing off, Meloka lands in her fighting stance as the Sith turns towards her. “Another one?”“That’s my husband, asshole.” Meloka says, her voice extra threatening coming from her while all low, a side effect of her Super Saiyan 3 form. Dropping her right hand from her forehead, she draws her right handed Ki Blade as well, taking her modified stance. “I won’t let you touch him!”“Hey hun, what’re you doing?” you ask her, confused. “Aren’t you supposed to be training?”“Says the man who skipped his morning training.” Meloka fires back playfully, then focuses once more on the threat before her. “Now, what shall I do with you?”The Sith looks back and forth between the two of you, then deactivates his blades.“Another time, Saiyans.” he says, touching something on his belt. There is a bright flash of light that blinds you for a second or two, but when it’s over you see he’s gone. Whoever he was, he’s not here anymore.“Who was that?” Meloka asks, you shrugging as you power down.“No idea, he never gave me a name.” you say, quickly filling her in on what happened. “Found that guy threatening the armorer, and when I showed up he attacked me.”“You’re just a magnet for trouble.” she says, floating over and kissing you for a moment before backing up, putting two fingers to her forehead and using Instant Transmission to vanish, leaving you once more alone. But what now?>Return to the armorer, you still need something for your sword>Spend time consulting with Bane, find out what he knows about whoever attacked you>Return to your ship first and see what the techs have found so far>Go find Ubo, have him fly out and check on the approaching planetoid’s progress>Other(write in)30 minute vote

>>3881951“Well, that was disappointing.” you mutter to yourself. You’d been ready to show that guy just how much stronger you were, but the coward fled. Oh well, back to what you were doing. You turn, lifting back up into the air and flying back to the armorer’s shop. You touch down, seeing him examining and actually measuring the damage.“This is why I don’t deal with outsiders.” you hear him mutter, the front wall now more hole than wall. But as you touch down, he turns to you, at first angry then seeing it’s you sighs out. “Hey kid, you kill that bastard?”“Sorry, he got away.” you say, the armorer’s brows furrowing. “Slippery bastard, teleported somewhere off-world.”“Well, at least he’s gone.” he says, dusting his hands off and turning fully to you. “So, what brought you here? Looking for a new style suit?”“Maybe another time.” you say, shrugging your right shoulder and moving the large sword. “I’m here about this.”“Looking for something to hold it in, huh?” he asks, walking over to you. You rest the sword tip-first on the ground, the armorer looking it over. “Hrmmm, that’s a challenge. Come on in, I may have just the thing.”“Sure.” you say, and despite the large hole in the wall, the armorer walks through the door. You follow him, the yellow man idly flipping the open sign on the door to closed as he leads you towards the back. “Sorry about this.”“Bah, don’t worry about it.” he says, pulling a key and opening a door you’ve never been in before and leading you down a steep staircase. “PTO’ll cover the repairs, but the draft will get annoying. Here, come on in.”He opens another door, walking through and holding it open for you. You walk in, the man shutting and locking it behind you. You look around, seeing what appears to be his workshop. Half-finished armor designs and models are scattered about the room, but what draws your eye is the large table in the middle. Despite the room’s clutter, papers and tools scattered about, the glowing tabletop is conspicuously clean.“Been looking for a chance to try this out.” he says, walking over to the table and patting it. “Set your sword on here.”“What is this?” you ask him, following his instructions and laying the sword down. But he doesn’t answer you, going to the far side and quickly begins typing something in. A moment later the glow intensifies over the table, several lasers coming from both the table and lights above it. You watch as they trace the shape of your weapon, you wondering what the hell is going on, but just as soon as it starts, it’s over. “What?”“Here.” he says, walking over to a large cylinder. It looks like a fully-metal healing pod, but when it opens your jaw drops; how did your sword get there? You look back and forth, seeing your sword is still on the table. What the hell?cont
>>3882061“Like it, huh?” he asks, reaching out and easily pulling the duplicate sword free. He hands it to you, and you’re surprised to find it’s incredibly light. Whatever it’s made of, it clearly isn’t metal, you wondering just how he did it?“What? How?” you ask him, the armorer chuckling and taking the feather sword back. “What is this?”“I call it the Copier.” he says, taking the new sword and resting it beside your real one. It lets me make exact, 1:1 scale copies of items out of cheap materials. I can’t make real weapons, but it does let me get exact measurements of something. With this beauty here, I can have something whipped up for you in just a matter of days. So, what do you think?”“This is some next-level stuff, I gotta say I’m impressed.” you say, still shocked by how quickly he made an exact copy of the sword. Even the small dents, dings, and scratches in the ancient sword’s metal were copied, the armorer beaming. “How did you do this?”“Well, I can’t give away all my secrets.” he says mysteriously, you chuckling and lifting your real blade back up and resting it on your shoulder. “Give me a few days Karn, and I should have a few working prototypes ready for you.”“I appreciate it.” you say, genuinely thankful. With that done, what now?>While you’re here, maybe it’s time for a new suit?>Tell him about the Puzzle Box, maybe he can copy it to find a way to open it?>Return to your ship, see what progress is being made>Take the sword to Raven, see if she can find out anything about it that Towa didn’t>Go find your old man Tatsu, you could use some guidance >Other(write in)30 minute vote

Once he knows that Nefarious was in the network, he checks the Copier over, making sure a cable was disconnected. Finding it, he sighs out in relief, leaving it unplugged.“Good thing I hadn’t hooked my Copier up to the network yet.” he says, moving the cord further away. “Last thing I want is someone accessing this remotely. Let me know when they give the all-clear.”“Will do.” you say, the armorer leading you back up and out of his workshop. You wave as you leave, walking out the door and flying off back towards your ship. You arrive quickly, seeing a flurry of activity below. You look around curiously as you descend, more than a dozen technicians running to and from the large computer area setup outside your ship, following dozens of forearm-sized cables. Touching down, you look around a moment for King Vegeta, but don’t see him outside. Focusing your ki sense you can feel him inside, walking straight up the ramp.“Excuse me, this area is off-Oh, general!” a tech holding a clipboard says, starting when he recognizes you. “Forgive me, go on ahead.”“Keep up the good work.” you say, nodding to him without slowing. Focusing on the king, you quickly make your way to the bridge. Through the sliding doors, held open by the mass of cables laying everywhere, you see King Vegeta observing another two dozen PTO techs. They’re everywhere, two to three of them on each terminal. But as you walk in, Vegeta turning to you, you can tell there’s bad news. “What’s the word?”“Not good.” he says, grimace on his face as you reach out and clasp forearms. “We’re locked out.”“Locked out?” you ask. “Of what?”“Everything!” Vegeta shouts angrily, several techs jumping in surprise. “We’ve been shut out of the entire network! And it’s not just your ship, but every networked system on the planet! We can’t even get in to inspect the damage!”“Sir, I’ve got something!” one of the techs says, you and Vegeta turning to him. You both walk over, seeing Nefarious’s smug laughing robotic face taunting you. But in the corner of the screen, you see a familiar face. You haven’t seen him since your battle with Trigon, you wondering where he’s been?“Well well, long time no see Karn!” he says, the figure taking a swig of the large drink in his hand. “Seems you’ve caught a real nasty bug.”cont

After more than a minute of not understanding a word of what’s said, Vegeta interrupts him.“So can you help?” he asks. “We’re dead in the water up here.”“Not from over here.” Arctus says with a sigh. “I’d have to actually be there to do much more than what I’ve already done.”“Maybe I can help with that.” you say, idea coming to your head. “How close are you?”“How close?” he asks, seeming thoughtful. “Hmm, by ship it’ll be a four-month flight. But I don’t think you’ve got that kinda time. If I fly there myself, it may be sooner.”“I have an idea.” you say, then telepathically reach out to Arctus and convey your plan. “If you transform while I’m connected to you like this, I just might be able to reach you by Instant Transmission.”“Oh, you got that smug bastard Cooler’s technique?” he replies telepathically, a wolfish grin coming to his face on the screen, speaking out loud again. “Alright, let’s do it!”“Wait, do what?” Vegeta asks, watching as Arctus transforms. Your entire head begins to feel like it’s going to split apart, but just as you’re about to give up you feel something give way, and you do it! Someone with enough mental prowess could deceive them.>>3882696But here’s an OOC question: when’s the last time Karn actually LOCKED the ship?>>3882732Good question. And possibly, who knows?>>3882808I’m working on it. Was busy last week trying to finish that epilogue that I didn’t get done.
>>3882822>But here’s an OOC question: when’s the last time Karn actually LOCKED the ship? The ship has a lock?
>>3882829The Law of Conservation of Detail has been broken! Something that has not been mentioned is important! What is this heresy? Also now I picture Karn walking away from the ship, realising he forgot to lock it and fishing out a key fob (probably attached to a picture of his family or one of his minifigures) from his pocket and pointing it at the ship for gif related, and having to sheepishly ask Meloka to let him back in after losing his keys. Don't lie to me and say you can't hear the sound.
>>3882822I always thought that we didn't have to worry about locking the ship because... you know, we have a competent crew that follows the stric PTO protocol when dealing with a General's ship, that has acces to every fucking systen in this planet and most of the PTO info.
Don’t worry my friends, rejoice and enjoy your drinks. We know who the traitor is. Everyone who directly touched Dr. Nefarious’s head was injected by a small amount of nanites as one of the head’s defense mechanisms. When these nanites detect alcohol in their host, they exit through the pores as a silvery sweat. That’s all bullshit, but everyone who touched the head checked just now. There’s our suspects.
>>3882996That...that isn't a terrible idea.I say we use that as a last resort. What we need to do right now is get a list of people who could have>entered Karn's private quarters>access the main deck>do all of it undetectedIronically Jotaro is a top suspect because of his time stoppage.Anybody with access to the ship is also a suspect (besides our family). We should also check our droid out and see if it captured anything or has some evidence of tampering on it.We should also check with Silver and see what his take on this is, provided we can rule him out as a suspect.
>>3883138Damn, and Jotaro WAS just on our ship. He did initiate that conversation with us, but why did he za warudo away at the end? Is he stopping time as often as possible for training, or was the purpose to avoid detection on the way out of our ship? Shit, the thing he stopped us to ask about was the special sword, a new element that the enemy wouldn't know about, of course he would want to gather info. Stopping time would make it even easier to snitch, regardless of whatever method he uses to relay info FUCK WE HAVE TO FIND JOTARO RIGHT FUCKING NOW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>3883160Fug, and why did I NOT ever suspect Jotaro even before this incident? There's an alternate version of him working for the time loli, a time stopper working for the SKOT doesn't sound like something that just happens by accident, what was his motivation to work for her? Is it something that could sway our Jotaro to her side? I doubt that our Jotaro hasn't at least been approached by her with a job offer.
>>3883138>>3883160>>3883184Since when were you all under the impression that there was only one traitor?
>>3883208CELL WOULD NEVER DO THIS TO USOUR KIDS TRAIN TOGETHERHE WAS THERE BEATING UP TRUNKS WHEN NOBODY ELSE WOULDI REFUSE TO BELIEVE YOUR LIES
>>3883221Of course not, he doesn't even have the appropriate means to have done it.I'm just proposing that multiple people amongst the crew could have been involved in the conspiracy. The safest option is to kill the biggest suspects, assuming they remain suspect after an investigation and a personal test. Can't miss any traitors if we kill all suspects.
>>3883227Look, we're already gonna have to throw out our perfect record with our crew's survivability,No need to make it any worse than we have to.
>>3882808So either family betrayed us. Or some one familiar with our ship, with cloaking tech that's super advance but not advance enough to beat our instincts. If only we knew of such a race of elite warriors that lack this close tie with Karen and has been known to have hidden in our ship before and observed us. Like a mask wearing honor tribe. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
Wait...we still have that bit of brainwashing from Nefarious way back when.WHAT IF KARN IS A FUCKING SLEEPER AGENT?
>>3883138It's also pretty weird Arctus randomly decided to contact us now, and stopped us from searching out the rat.But let's be real for a sec, the traitor is obviously Triumph. I never did like how it seemed to caw cawingly.
>>3883246I was thinking that seconds a go, but Towa went out the way to ensure it was disabled and that Karn was buffed in mental defense.Maybe one of the younger kids was tricked by Nefarious?
>>3883250damn it, we should have knownbirds are just advanced dinosaursone of our first opponents was godzillagodzilla is not completely unlike a dinosaurtriumph is an evolved version of godzilla's ghost
>>3882829You’ve locked the door to your own quarters several times, when sneaking around your ship.>>3882876Ha. And Karn, for almost all of his life before the PTO, never lived in buildings with doors. Don’t forget, the Saiyans were tribal a generation ago.>>3882908With you, Meloka, and the kids coming and going at all times of the day, the doors were left open while parked at home. And your ship hasn’t actually moved for quite awhile now. Wouldn’t have been very hard to scout out from a distance while you were training.>>3882996Ha.>>3883138Anyone on the ship could have, and between Karn and Chaya, several new characters have been wandering around the ship as well. Tanya, Polnareff, Joseph and Jotaro just to name a few.> We should also check our droid out and see if it captured anything or has some evidence of tampering on it.They’re both with your old ship, that you gifted to Leyas. They aren’t on this ship.>>3883160>spoilerTo be fair, if you’ve been hanging out daily with someone for almost a year, then instead of meeting at your usual time appears with a giant sword, you’d probably ask about it too.>>3883184>what was his motivation to work for her? That’s a really good question. Understanding someone’s motives let’s you anticipate their actions.>>3883208A perfect point>>3883241If Karn’s proved anything, it’s that fancy stealth tech and techniques aren’t worth much against him.>>3883246Your Towa took care of that.>>3883250He, as a prominent spacechan troll and one of the PTO’s top web defense techs, he noticed something weird going on in the system, and traced it back to Karn’s ship.>>3883253>Maybe one of the younger kids was tricked by Nefarious?Wouldn’t have been Broly, Chaya, or Chilli, as they’ve all seen Nefarious’s work firsthand.>>3883267Ha.
>>3883267EVERY TIME WE THINK WE KILLED GODZILLAIT JUST KEEPS COMING BACK FOR MORE
>>3883292>They’re both with your old ship, that you gifted to Leyas. They aren’t on this ship.I forgot about that. We should visit him sometime before we die horribly. He cooks a mean rock IIRC.
>>3883293History shows, again and again, how nature points out the folly of man.
>>3883292>You’ve locked the door to your own quarters several times, when sneaking around your ship.A deadbolt isn't the same as a car door and you know it.
>>3883293you know if we can't even keep nefarious dead, then why in the actual hell would you ever doubt godzilla?
>>3883314Ha>>3883362I see what you did there.>>3883403Fair enough.
>>3883314Cooking rocks you say? What's the bet Karn could eat one of his Hornfel Cakes? DC99 to not break teeth, DC100 to not have SKoT appear to defend her title of worst cook.
>>3883768You think SKoT would give us a pass if we just let her study under Silver for a few weeks?
>>3883884I think Silver would commit sudoku just for being witness of her war crimes against food.
>>3883768>>3883884But she’s a goddess anons, her cooking is to die for.>>3883981He would feel sympathy for those who’d attempted deicide.
>>3883981>"So, tell me what you just served our guests.">"Well...I don't actually know what anything in here is. So I just grabbed a random cut of meat and went to work!">"Oh lord...">"I couldn't tell what any of these seasonings were either, so I just grabbed a bunch at random.">"They're all gone...">"Then I got the pan red-hot and slammed the meat in their, keeping it under constant pressure for about 20 minutes.">"WE HAVE OIL RIGHT HERE!">"After it was done I cut away whatever wasn't fused to the pan and served it up! I even gave it a garnish of horse-radish!">"YOU RUINED A PERFECTLY GOOD PAN FOR THAT?!">"Why are you even asking?">"I'm trying to figure out why the General's daughter is having her stomach pumped, that's why."
>>3884195>"How much salt did you add?">"I just used the whole container, why?"
>>3884218Come to think of it she probably has massive stocks of salt extracted from the tears of the BOI over the years. Maybe that's why she never deleted Karn back when she could, in order to maintain her own personal salt mine to fuel her culinary.....experiments.
>>3884218>"Salt?">as she pours six cups of flour onto some meat and slams it into the oven
>>3884195>>3884218>>3885036This actually made me cringe. Why, why would anyone type such sacrilege?
>>3885138In case of culinary emergency, break glass to call Gordon Ramsay.>"Welcome to a celebrity-focus special of Space Masterchef on Vox One! Today we have the Chronella, the Supreme Kai of Time herself, joining us to show us how it's done.>"Don't worry, we brought in a stepladder for you.">"All right, first off I'll be showing how I cook the best steaks this side of the afterlife.....".....TWENTY MINUTES LATER.....>"IT'S FUCKING CHARCOAL! You even cooked the pan! What are you a BLACKSMITH? You can even get that vile smell THROUGH THE CAMERAS!">"n-no,...I-">"You even added so much salt you made CARBON JERKY! I would be impressed were it not such a CRIME AGAINST FOOD!>"but-but-but-">"NO BUTS! I'm putting the fire brigade on standby, and you BETTER write a letter of apology to that poor cow's parents for wasting their child!">"It was good though...">"You know what? Give me your apron and GET OUT! Fuck this, I'm going back to Amy's!">"Oh, and call an ambulance for our cameraman. Seems he forgot his gas mask like an imbecile."
I feel like I most post this bit from Super Human Quest where the MC, who cooks for Champa, tastes the SKoT's cooking.>You sit there calmly, your fists clenched."It's... it's not good.""Awww you mean it?I knew my cooking was good but not that it's grea-"You interrupt her and continue in a calm tone."This is the worst plate of dogshit I have ever tasted. No, I would have preferred dogshit over this. It's ironic that this food was prepared by a god because if you feed this to someone in a restaurant they would be thoroughly convinced that god isn't real. Never in my wildest dreams could I ever even intentionally try to make a meal this bad.In fact right now I'm contemplating mass homicide as I desire nothing more than to brutally bludgeon you all to death and burn this place to the ground."She stares at you blankly and in confusion."W-Wha-"Standing up you've pretty much reached boiling point and your calm fury has transcended into a burning RAGE."I'M SAYING: WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!YOU CALL THAT FUCKING DISGRACE TO FOOD COOKING?! I WOULDN'T FEED IT TO A STARVING HOLOCAUST VICTIM!THIS PILE OF VOMIT BREAKS THE FUCKING GENEVA CONCENTION! AND I'M SURE EVERY FUCKER IN THE MULTIVERSE WOULD CHOOSE TORTURE OVER EATING THIS!"Grabbing her by the top of her tiny head you lift her up until she's at the same level as you and shout in her face."YOU! ME! KITCHEN! NOOOOOOOOOW!"And proceed to carry her in there.
>As you put her down on her two feet she begins to shake in fear like a small and yappy dog that shat on the carpet but knows it's about to get its ass beat.Handing her some tools you choose to let her do her own thing and correct her whenever she fucks up.Which she does constantly."RIGHT!"Taking a slice of meat out you slap it on the counter."GRILLED MEAT! NOW!""Y-Yes!"She begins but immediately you stop her."NO!FIRST YOU TENDERIZE IT! BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T THE FUCKING MIDDLE WILL BE RAW!"Shaking and on the verge of tears she follows your instructions and when done looks up at you."WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?! DO IT! WHAT'S NEXT?!""I-I-I...""WHAT.... IS.... NEXT?!""I p-put it on the-""WROOOONG!YOU SEASON IT! WITH WHAT?!"She starts reaching for SEVERAL containers as well as other unrelated ingredients."NO! SALT! PEPPER! DONE! WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE?!"You grab the containers and toss them the straight out the fucking window in your divine fury. The whole cooking process goes on like this where she constantly screws up and does entirely unnecessary things while leaving out key components.Even though grilling chicken should not take longer than a couple minutes TOPS you stay in there for two hours.By the end you are drained physically and emotionally while also suffering from a bleeding throat. The same could be said about the supreme kai. When you're done she's crying without restraint as she presents the single piece of grilled meat she managed to NOT obliterate or defile with her shenanigans.Taking a bite out of it you nod."Okay... Not good... but acceptable."Then you push the plate back to her."Now you try."She tries it and finds it painfully average.Then... you present her with the plate Gose left and demand her to eat a single bite out of it.With some... context she realizes what she has done before."Oh... my... gods...Is this how my cooking tastes?""Wait...You mean you NEVER tasted your cooking before????!!!!!""N-No! Please don't shout!"She raises the plate in front of her in defense."No... I won't. Otherwise my vocal cords would snap...For now this is good. Remember these two things:1.) Always, always. ALWAYS! Taste your cooking throughout the whole process...And 2.) Stick to simple things! If I see you doing science experiments with food again I'll break your knees!Am I understood?""Y-Yessir!""Good."Walking out of the kitchen you sit down, tired as all hell.Taking a glass of tap water you quench your thirst and moisten your crying throat a bit."Ah... finally..."The little guy looks at you equally terrified and grateful."Thank you."He whispers."We've been suffering from her cooking forever!"Hilariously, while that quest has a bunch of high points, by far the funniest part was when we chewed the shit out of Chrona.
>>3885361>>3885366But the Holocaust and the Geneva Convention aren't things in the DB-verse. IMMERSION SHATTERED
>>3885485Mc is from earth in champas universe that was wiped out and then brought back. Its implied that that earth is our earth
>>3885500Were there animal people on that Earth? Cause that'll answer that question. Either way I don't like it.
>>3885509There weren't.Also, weird that you'd dislike it on the principle of tweaking the setting to the author's liking when this quest pretty much does the same thing. We got fuckin sith up in this bitch.
>>3885521Real world shit doesn't have a place in such a fantastical setting as DB. It's not weird that everyone has a different tolerance.
>>3885529Doors exist in the real world, and doors exist in DB canon. Ergo, real-world shit has a place in DB. Your argument is inferior, weakling.

>>3885586>How can you beat a shitposter?Easy. I'll just cry to a mod. :^) Or perhaps I'll become one. Hold on let me go attend the circlejerk so I can get the power.
>>3885592You will follow the model of the Mods? That is a dull and unenterprising ambition. See what the Mods have done. They've sacrificed the honor and dignity of quests, and handed over our ancient land to the mongrel dogs of /tg/. You may mean well, but you lack vision. You are not worthy of the memes.
>>3885596Memes are just the crutches the powerless use to voice their dissent. A coping mechanism for their impotence. I will be above the need for memes. I'll take destiny with my own two hands and steal from it all the power I need.
>>3885602You are bold. I honor your independence. You are one to teach the mods their limits. I hope the QMs will praise the glory of your death in their works.

QM UPDATEJust finished the twelfth post of the epilogue, will have it wrapped up in one more! Hope everyone’s ready, this epilogue’s happening tonight!
-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 104 Belated Epliogue-AGE 748, PLANET SHAAR“Hello Dreadzone fans, and welcome to a very exciting, special episode of Dreadzone!” Dallas shouts out into his microphone, you hearing the cheers of the fans through your earpiece. You find it annoying, just as much as the girl beside you finds it pleasing; the Saiyan girl smiling as she hears her fans’ cheers. You are Major Tanya Degurechaff, soldier of the Fatherland, Dreadzone Exterminator, and ally/friend of General Karn’s eldest daughter and Dreadzone Champion Chaya. During Chaya’s mother’s battle with the space pirate Lord Boros, the two incredibly powerful fighters had destroyed the ancient temple on the frozen planet. Their battle had accidentally awakened an ancient beast, long buried and forgotten beneath the temple. Although, knowing that scheming bastard Vox, you’d bet he somehow knew this thing was down there and planned the whole thing. “You all are in for a treat tonight!”“That’s right Dallas.” Juanita says, the in-flight screen panning out over what will soon be your battlefield. Where there once was a frozen wasteland, now only a molten hellscape remains. “Today, after the failures of dozens of Dreadzone competitors, our Champion and her Exterminators have stepped forward to take on the Demon King of Shaar!”“They’re really hamming it up, aren’t they?” you ask with a sigh, but Chaya’s excitement is unquenchable. She turns to you, giddy smile on her face.“I can’t believe I finally get to fight it!” she says, nearly bouncing up and down in her seat. “Isn’t this exciting?”“Yeah, sure.” you say, giving one final check to your weapons. Despite getting several new and powerful weapons from Vox’s R&D team, you still also carry the weapons of your homeworld. But with this much destructive potential at your fingertips, you can’t help but smirk. If that bastard Being X shows his face again, you’ll be ready.“See? I knew you were excited, you can’t hide it from me!” Chaya says, you growling in faux-annoyance. The Saiyan girl simply beams back, and despite you shaking your head you can’t help but smile ever-so-slightly. Chaya may not be the brightest, but she’s a good kid. Which is impressive, considering how much blood is on her hands.“Alright ladies, we’re here.” the pilot says, as the ship’s rear door opens. “Happy hunting.”“You ready?” Chaya asks, undoing her safety harness and stretching. You do the same, then hang the pistols off your belt and draw the submachine gun from your back. New weapons are good and all, but this rifle has safely seen you through more battles than you can count.“Let’s go.” you reply, leaping from the dropship.
>>3885846“And there they are, our champion Chaya and Exterminator Tanya have now entered the battlefield!” Dallas shouts, the roar of the audience back at the station buzzing in your ear. But while you’re just getting annoyed, flying down to the deployment zone to greet your men, Chaya quickly finds the nearest camera and gives it a thumbs-up. You land on the solid rock before your elite robotic soldiers, the only place around large enough for them all, who all salute at your arrival.“Ma’am!” the all shout as one, a smirk coming to your face as you remember when you first got promoted to Exterminator and designed your soldiers.“No, not like that.” you’d said, balling up and tossing one of the proposals aside. In the Vox weapon R&D lab, you’d come to bisit. “No, no way, no, certainly not, no-oh! Which one of you designed this!?”Silence greeted your outburst, the half-dozen Vox R&D guys all avoiding your gaze. But instead of asking again, you simply glare at them silently. Soon their curiosity began to get the better of them, one by one looking up to see who’s work got such a reaction from you. One by one they all look up, each one letting out a small sigh of relief as it’s not theirs. But the last one to look, a timid red-skinned Blargian clearly recognizes his own work in your hand. You see it in his eyes, a triumphant grin breaking across your face.“So this was your design, was it?” you ask him, the alien gulping nervously then nodding. You walk over to him, set the sheet down on his workstation, then grab his pen from his hand. He and the others all look at you curiously, you making a few quick adjustments to his design. “Aaaand done. Now this is what I want my elite soldiers to look like! Well done, I’ll be sure to put a good word for you with Vox. What was your name again?”“Uhh, Dameron, ma’am.” he says, still nervous but also radiating with pride.“Dameron, huh?” you’d said, strolling towards the door. “Next time I need something, I’ll know just who to come to.”And two weeks later your first prototype soldier rolled out of manufacturing. You had to admit you were impressed, your Stormtrooper cut quite the mysterious yet intimidating figure. And in their very first season; your soldiers, partially due to your tactics and defensive fortification design, eliminated eight competitors without you ever fighting. All those strategy meetings back home certainly paid off, although not quite how you’d ever imagined. Which brings you back to the present, standing before a full company of 100 mechanical warriors.“Gentlemen, today we have but one objective.” you say, clenching your fist and raising it to the air, shouting. “Search and destroy!”
>>3885851“The Demon King of Shaar will fall this day!” you bellow, once more hating how it sounds from this small body. “Today we will find this bastard, and slay it for the glory of the Fatherland!”“Yes ma’am!” they shout, all hundred men snapping to attention and saluting as one. Damn, it feels good to be in command. You quickly organize your soldiers, splitting the company into five twenty-soldier platoons. You personally lead the first platoon, the other four splitting off in different directions to begin searching the planet. Orders given, you leave the other platoons to their work, and begin scouring the volcanic surface for any signs of the demons. You’d seen footage of them with Chaya, before deploying for this mission, but compared to the colossal demon you witnessed Karn destroy, these can’t be too much trouble. Right?“Multiple contacts, 2 o’clock.” the soldier to your right says, you and your platoon immediately halting and turning to sight the threat. You take higher to the sky, sighting your rifle in on the targets below you as your soldiers spread out to mitigate casualties if attacked. You see a dozen orange, impish creatures who screech upon seeing you all and begin tossing fireballs. The platoon splits, half going to each side of the incoming fireball barrage to divide their fire. You yourself don’t open fire, not just yet. Instead you watch, observing both your soldiers and the enemy’s tactics.“If that can even be called ‘tactics’.” you mutter, as the impish demons simply keep tossing their fireballs. Your Stormtroopers cut them down efficiently and mercilessly, their semi-auto beam rifles punching large holes straight through the lesser creatures. Within seconds the ‘battle’ is over, you directing two of your soldiers to go down and examine the bodies, checking to make sure they’re all actually dead. With practiced efficiency they thrust their bayonets into the creatures’ skulls, None of the downed demons react, your two men not getting jumped by one pretending to be dead.“Well, this seems almost too easy.” you say, and immediately regret opening your mouth. The instant you finish speaking, a huge form leaps from the lava, emerging behind your soldiers. Before they can face the much-larger threat it grabs one, hoisting it overhead and tearing your soldier apart. But your man doesn’t go down without a fight. Dropping the rifle, your soldier grabs one of his stick grenades, pulling the pin and shoving it straight down the demon’s maw. The demon immediately drops both halves of your man, desperately clawing at its throat, but it’s far too late.BOOM
>>3885856The power-packed explosive detonates, obliterating the beast’s head and much of it’s torso. Blood and viscera fly out in all directions, coating the two men below in demonic gore. Directing your men to form a perimeter above to look for any other potential threats, you fly down to your injured soldier, kneeling beside his torso.“Status report.” you say, your soldier’s glowing red eyes flickering on and off.“Spinal structure damaged.” it says robotically, then with a hint of actual worry. “Major, I can’t feel my legs.”“Close your eyes soldier, your duty is done.” you say with a heavy sigh. “You’re going home now.”“No, not yet. I’m no...-“ he starts, but then the machine’s eyes go dark, and don’t come back on. You rise up to your feet silently, glaring out across the molten lake. After a moment you snap back to focus on the job at hand, and seeing what seems to be a crashed prisoner transport ship a few hundred feet away.“There’s our next objective!” you order, leaping into the air. “Spear formation, and watch the flanks!”“Ma’am!!” they shout, your now-nine soldiers flying and forming up behind you. But as you fly, you feel your hands clenching angrily on your rifle. These demonic bastards thought they could kill one of your men and get away with it? You’re gonna find this so-called demon king, and make him pay in blood! So wrapped up in thoughts of vengeance, you weren’t paying close enough attention to the world around you. And that rookie mistake almost got you killed.“We have incoming!” one of your soldiers shouts, you blinking several times before seeing and recognizing the swarm of missiles headed towards you all.“Shit, scatter!” you shout, but you yourself don’t flee. Instead of flying away, you focus your magical power and form an airtight shield around you. An instant later the missiles impact, detonating in several powerful explosions. The blasts kick up a wall of smoke, obscuring your vision. With a swipe of your hand, you both banish your shield and sweep the smoke away, revealing the beast that shot at you. “What the hell?”“Grrrroooooaaaaa!” the part-machine, part-skeleton creature bellows, firing another salvo towards you. But this time you go on the attack, slinging your rifle over your shoulder and drawing your new dual pistols strapped to your chest. The large, box-like pistols have a noticeable heft, yet you know that they need it. Pulling the triggers, the fully-automatic weapons unleash over one hundred rounds in under a second, your weapons easily blowing the incoming missiles away.“Oooh!” you say, feeling a wicked grin breaking out across your face as the skeletal demon below bellows in challenge. “Now it’s my turn!!”
>>3885861“Die! DIE! DIEEE! AAAHAHAHAHAA!!” you shout, laughing maniacally as you unload your dual pistols. Hundreds of shots rain down in an unstoppable barrage, destroying the demon and leaving a large swiss-cheese hole in the crashed ship where it was standing. Blowing the smoke away from the ends of your barrels, you holster the two automatic pistols. While they’re fun to use, you do still need to conserve ammo. You only have another two or three hundred shots each left with them, best to save them for an emergency. “Major, target has been sighted.” you hear in your scouter, you quickly cycling through viewpoints to see what your men of platoon 4 have found. And sure enough, that looks like a Demon King to you. A colossal demon, standing waist-deep in the lava roars at your soldiers, breathing a blast of superheated flames. You watch in shock as two of your soldiers are consumed by the flames, and within a second or two are reduced to slag. What the hell, they’re supposed to be heat resistant to four thousand degrees?!“Damn Vox, skimping on materials.” you mutter to yourself, before opening your chat channels to all platoons, as well as to Chaya. “Target sighted! All platoons, double time to Platoon 4’s location! Platoon 4, begin evasive maneuvers and probe it for weaknesses!”“MA’AM!” they all shout over comms, then an instant later you hear Chaya’s excited squeal.“Eee! I’mma deck him!” she shouts, you ‘huuuh’ing out loud. A moment later you shake your head, focusing on Platoon 4’s location and taking off towards them. While you fly towards the colossal demon’s location, you watch Platoon 4 battling it in the ruins of the former Temple of Shaar. It’s fire breath seems to be it’s most devastating weapon, melting your soldiers down to scrap in seconds. It’s fists are strong, smashing effortlessly through the ancient stone but unable to catch your troops. You had developed them into emphasizing speed over armor, and that seems to be paying off. But, unfortunately, their weapons also seem unable to do more than irritate the massive beast. Shit, most of your weapons will more than likely be useless too. So you unsling your rifle, and begin channeling a power far beyond your own.
>>3885863https://youtube.com/watch?v=JzOSuoEAKVk“Oh lord, give me strength in my time of peril.” you say, saying insincere words to fulfill the requirements to unlock the full power of your cursed jewel. Being X had cursed the item, forcing you to ‘pray’ to utilize it’s true power. “My soldiers are dying, bless me with the strength to save them!”And you feel the surge of magic flowing throughout your body, your flying speed multiplying more than ten times over. The sonic boom from your acceleration blows the soldiers of Platoon One back, you having seen enough. You’re taking this colossal bastard down! You cross nearly half of the large planet in seconds, seeing your men fighting with your own eyes. But while you were wasting time praying to a non-existent god, Chaya had already arrived.“HAAAAA!” she shouts as she fires a massive ball of energy down. The demon ignores your soldiers, roaring in challenge and catching her attack with both hands. While the attack is massive for you or your ally, compared to that monster it’s only the size of a beach ball for a normal human. And it handles her blast just as easily, tossing it aside and catching another two of your soldiers with it. It flies off, crashing down somewhere off in the distance and exploding. “Hey! Be careful with that!”“GWWRRRROOOOOOOAAAAR!!” it bellows, firing it’s massive column of fire at the champion.“MOVE!!” you shout, dashing over to her and knocking her away. Caught by surprise, Chaya is knocked away, you focusing your surging magical power into your impenetrable barrier.“TAAAANYA!!” Chaya shouts, and then the fire hits. It strikes your shield with overwhelming force, blasting you back almost as fast as you flew. Had you tried to stand your ground, your shield would have shattered against the tremendous force. Gritting your teeth, you still struggle to maintain your barri-CRACK“SHIT!” you shout, a large crack spreading across your barrier. Dammit, if Chaya doesn’t do something soon, you’re dead! You have to hold on, just a little longer!CRACK CRACKThe cracks spread across your shield, heat starting to pour in from your left and burning your skin through your flight suit. But as soon as you start burning, it’s over. The flames vanish, you dropping the shield and clutching your side in pain. After a moment of letting the agony overwhelm you, you pull your hands back and examine the damage. The heat burned clean through your suit, and even your uniform underneath and burned your left side. Your skin is already red and blistered, this is gonna hurt like hell when the adrenaline wears off. Speaking of, where’s Chaya?
>>3885866Looking down, you see she’s in her bulky hypermuscle form, slamming a powerful uppercut into the beast’s jaw and actually sending it up and out of the lava. You watch on shocked as her attack launches the winged demon in the air, it hanging airborne a moment before crashing back-first into the molten lake. It vanishes below the waves, Chaya quickly shrinking back towards her ‘normal’ lightning-shrouded Super Saiyan form. Turning her back on the demon, she looks around for you, dashing over when she sees you.“Tanya?!” she shouts, blitzing over to you. She gasps upon seeing the shape you’re in, then tries poorly to hide her worry. “A-Are you okay?”“No.” you say, gritting your teeth over the fresh wave of agony the wind from Chaya’s flight hitting your wound brings. “Let’s end this, quick.”“Right!” she shouts, powerful golden aura flaring up and around her as she turns back towards the demon. You both watch as it rises back out of the lava, bellowing in challenge.“Hold it off for me, I’ll end it.” you say, focusing the overwhelming magical energy radiating from the Type 95 into your weapon. If you give it everything you’ve got, this could end this now.“Aww, that’s no fun.” Chaya pouts, but after glancing again to your injury relents. “Fine. But you’d better not miss!”Chaya then dashes down, firing a flurry of Ki Fist Blasts as she charges the colossal demon. It roars at her, swinging a massive fist to knock her down into the lava. But it misses her by a wide margin, splashing down into the molten rock. You realize, a moment too late, that it wasn’t actually aiming for Chaya. It was actually aiming it’s swat at the lava, it splashing up like a kid splashing in the world’s most dangerous swimming pool. Chaya sees what’s happening, flaring her golden aura up even further around her body to protect herself. But you can’t pay attention to her, you need to focus. It takes almost half a minute before your weapon is finally ready.“Alright, eat this you red bastard!” you shout, everything you’ve got packed into your weapon. “Chaya move!!”“Do it!!” she shouts, kicking the demon in it’s left eye and dashing away. It roars out in pain, hands going to it’s face. It’s now or never!“DIE!!” you shout, firing. The recoil from your overcharged blast sends you flying back several feet before you can stop yourself. But your shot flies true, slamming into the beast’s mouth before exploding. The blast consumes the demon’s entire head, it smoking and falling backward into the lava with a massive splash. You did it, you actually did it!
>>3885869Your moment of celebration is short-lived, the pain and exhaustion washing over you in waves. You hiss in pain, again clutching your side as you drift down and land on a section of wall left above the lake of lava. With a sigh you lay down on your back, soldiers quickly forming up in a defensive position around you. Chaya flies over as well, giving you her cheeky grin and thumbs-up. You’re exhausted, yet you find the strength to return the gesture.“Hee-hee, you did it!” she says excitedly. But before you can reply, you feel a rumbling in the ground. Oh what now?“GWWRRRROOOOOAAAAARR!!!” the massive monster bellows, once more rising up out of the lava. You all watch on in horror as it’s head regenerates before your eyes, the beast turning it’s furious gaze towards you all. But specifically at you, from the intensity of it’s gaze you can clearly see the murder in it’s eyes.“Shit! Evasive maneuvers, now!!” you shout, your soldiers all splitting up. But Chaya grabs you, tossing you straight up into the air. You watch as a moment later another massive column of fire blasts where you’d just been, Chaya firing a wave of ki into it to try and save herself. Dammit, how the hell will you put this thing down? You’d put everything you had into that attack, and if Chaya falls here what then?“HRRRAAAAAA!!” she roars, explosive wave of energy exploding out around her and keeping the flames off of her. You can’t let her go out like this, not now!“Lord, my work isn’t done.” you say, pulling forth even more magical energy from the Type 95. You know it’s risky, and could cause some serious complications down the line, but after everything you can’t let her die. Your position would become untenable if she did, you can’t allow that! “Give me the strength to face this demo-huh?”Your chant is interrupted, however, as a massive green blast comes from the demon’s left, slamming into the side of it’s head and stopping it’s blast. Startled you lose your focus, turning towards the source with a renewed sense of hope. When did Karn get here-wait, that’s not him. Who the hell is that?https://youtube.com/watch?v=BSsfjHCFoswYou see a man, wearing some sort of green armor and holding a big fucking gun in one hand while flipping off the demon. After getting it’s attention he holds the weapon in both hands, firing one large green blast after another. It roars as the green spheres approach, both slamming into it’s face before the slow-moving demon can evade. As you hover, jaw agape, you watch as he then switches weapons, switching the big gun with an honest minigun and unleashing a storm of bullets. The demon turns fully towards this random muscular man, ignoring you wading through the lava over towards him.
>>3885871“Chaya, you alright?!” you shout, dashing down towards your ally. You see her still standing defiantly, developing chest heaving as she tries to catch her breath. You land beside your friend, who is swaying unsteadily on her feet. But before you can reach out to her she falls back, lightning no longer dancing along her body. But her hair remains golden, Chaya struggling to breathe. Dammit, what do you do? You uncertainly reach down, Chaya’s eyes open drunkenly.“Taaa?” she asks, voice slurred. But suddenly, she vanishes! You blink several times, making sure you really saw that, but Chaya’s simply laying there, staring off into space. What the hell, are you going crazy. And what the hell is she staring at?BA-DUMPWas that her heartbeat?BA-DUMPYou watch as her eyes begin turning entirely red, fangs growing as tremors begin to shake her body. But her gaze remains fixed on something behind you, you risking it and turning around, looking up. You weren’t sure what you were expecting, but a full moon wasn’t i-wait. A full moon.... Oh shit! You need to move, now!“All units, relocate to a safe distance immediately!!” you shout, the surge of panic giving your body new strength. Theres no way in hell you’re sticking around to get trampled to death by a rampaging Saiyan. Flying away, you turn and watch as Chaya rises up, form shifting into that of a massive golden ape. “GRRROOOAAAARRR!!” she roars, launching towards the demon. You’re surprised that she’s now the same size as the creature, quickly closing the distance. It turns towards her as she roars, but is far too slow. Her giant fist slams into it’s jaw, launching it airborne. The demon flips backwards once, twice, three times before stopping, massive wings flapping and reorienting itself. But Chaya’s not done, pulling back her arms and gathering an absurd amount of power in both palms. The entire planet trembles, the demon roaring as Chaya slams her palms together.“FINAL FLASH!!” Golden Oozaru Chaya roars, and the entire world goes white. Her attack is so blindingly brilliant that you can’t see anything, and so overpoweringly loud that you can’t hear either. You’re blinded and deafened for nearly a minute, and once you can again see, the battle is over. The demon is gone, but so too is the massive golden ape. You feel your panic rising, where is Chaya? You dash over to where you’d last seen her, looking around panickedly for your friend. After a moment of panicked searching you find her, the green-armored man standing above her. You’ve got a bad feeling about this. But before he could do anything, another of the dome-headed demons leaps from the lava, right for Chaya.
>>3885874“CHAYA!!” you shout down to your unconscious friend, unable to reach her in time. But surprisingly, it’s the armored man who saves her, spinning to to the demon, you watching shocked as he pulls a chainsaw from somewhere, vertically bisecting the demon in a second and getting himself and Chaya covered in demon gore. Your jaw drops, the armored man switching weapons again as another leaps up. Using an honest-to-god double-barrelled shotgun, he empties both barrels and obliterates the demon’s head. “Woah.”He turns to you as you touch down, pointing a different large, unknown weapon at your head. But after a moment he seems to decide you’re not a demon, turning his back on you and Chaya.“Who are you?” you ask the soldier, him not turning back around to answer. You lift your rifle, leveling it at him. “Answer me! Who the hell are you?” The armored man doesn’t reply, taking a weapon off his back with his left hand and tossing it to you. You’re forced to drop your own weapon, narrowly avoiding slicing your left hand on the weapon’s bladed teeth. The gun is surprisingly heavy, you seriously doubting any component of that weapon isn’t metal. You find the weapon has a grip on the left side, you grabbing and pulling it. To your surprise the chainsaw bayonet revvs, you unable to suppress the sudden smile. Oh, this is going to be fun! You wonder for a moment why he’d just hand such a fine piece of hardware, but as you see him hefting what is comparatively a tank cannon, this probably’d feel like a toy to him.“KYAAA!!” another impish demon shouts as it leaps from the lava to your right at you. The poor bastard, he clearly doesn’t know who he’s dealing with!“RRRAAAAAA!!” you roar over the revving chainsaw, spinning and slamming the spinning blade into the creature. The spinning teeth catch it between it’s right shoulder, cutting diagonally down through it’s torso. You scream in adrenaline-fueled fury, the creature’s blood and gore going everywhere. You get absolutely coated in demonic viscera as the gun’s chainsaw exits just above it’s left hip, splitting the beast in two. There’s something primal about killing your foe like this, you screaming your challenge and triumph into the sky. After a moment, becoming self-conscious, you turn back to the armored figure. He says nothing, turning and walking away. But as he does, he lifts his right fist up in a symbol of solidarity. For some reason you’re compelled to return the gesture, a moment later the dropship dropping down by the two of you.“You ladies need a lift?” the pilot asks, you carrying the unconscious Chaya onboard.
>>3885876The flight back to the main ship is swift, Chaya waking up once the dropship docks. Getting up and moving under her own power, she asks Raven for a portal back home, which the witch grants. You both step through her portal, returning the several months’ travel to New Salda in seconds.“Thanks Raven!” Chaya says happily, you nodding to the witch as the two of you take off from her island. The two of you fly the short distance back to Karn’s ship, you both walking up the ramp and inside. Just inside the door, Chaya stops, sniffing the air. “Hold on.”“What now?” you ask wearily, struggling to heft the heavy rifle. But before you can raise it, Chaya grabs your arm.“Food!” she says excitedly, nearly tearing your left arm from its socket as she drags you along. You manage to avoid any serious injury, expending a bit more magic to propel yourself and keep up, but within seconds the flight is over.“The Hideout?” you hear Karn ask as you arrive, Chaya slowing down and letting you go as you both walk in. “And where is that?”“That’s on Raxus Prime.” little Tatsu and Tomi say together. Looks like he’s going over the evacuation with the little ones. Smart. “Where King Vegeta got the super-cool hideout set up!”“Yeah, it’s awesome!” Chaya says, everyone turning as you both walk up to the table. “So, when are we going?”“We were just going over the evacuation for when the next invasion happens.” Karn says, you and Chaya sitting down and joining in the meal. There’s a bit too much meat, and a lack of earthly foods for your tastes, but Karn’s personal chef Silver never fails to deliver an excellent eating experience. “We have only about a month before the next fight begins.”“Okay, I’ll be here.” Chaya says, then turns to you expectantly. “What about you?”“No way.” you say, taking a sip of coffee. “Count me out.”“What? WHY?!” Chaya shouts in surprise, nearly falling off of her seat. “What the hell, Tanya? Megu, you’ll help, right?”“Of course!” Megumin says, standing on the table and striking a pose. “I am Megumin! Finest arch-wizard of the Crimson Demons, and master of Explosion magic!”“See? Megu’s gonna help!” Chaya says, turning to you accusingly. “Why won’t you?”“To make a long story short, it’s not my fight.” you say simply. “I’ll go with your civilians, and help protect them at the Hideout your King has provided. But standing headfirst against yet another invasion? And one I’m not getting paid for? Sorry, but no.”“That’s not fair.” Broly says calmly, you turning to him. You don’t have to be a poker player to recognize someone holding back. The boy’s furious, his impressive hate directed squarely at you. “If you’re not gonna help us, you can leave and never come back.”
>>3885881“Woah, Broly! Not cool!” Chaya says, waving her arms at him wildly. “Just ‘cause she doesn’t want to help doesn’t mean she has to leave!”“Chaya’s right, son.” Karn says, speaking up. Everyone at the table turns as one, to hear what Karn says. “If she doesn’t want to fight, she doesn’t have to. But Tanya, I think it’s only fair you know what the coming battle will entail. I’m sure you saw footage of our battle against the Covenant, right?”“Of course.” you say, taking another sip. “The entire universe saw wha-!”“Exactly.” Karn says, as a wave of understanding hits. Son of a bitch!. “We’ve known about this upcoming battle for awhile, just like that one. So Vox has his cameras set up everywhere, ready to catch every second of this battle. So if you want to leave with the civilians, feel free.”“You-!!” you say, teeth clenching angrily, Karn smirking at your frustration. He has you pinned, and he knows it. Chaya looks back and forth between you two confused, not getting it. But you do. Vox’s cameras will see everyone who fights in the upcoming battle, and it’s a well-known fact you live here now. Thanks in no small part to you ensuring that information went viral on several of the most heavily-trafficked spacenet sites. You sigh out in defeat, setting the cup down on the table and closing your eyes.“Keep your cool, no need to say something stupid.” you think to yourself. This isn’t the worst curveball Being X has thrown your way, you can get through this! Taking a sharp breath, you turn back to Karn, throwing a wide grin his way. You’d never thought he was a strategist, but you’re forced to admit he’s got your number. “You’re a far more clever man than I’d given you credit for. Mark my words, General Karn, this the last time I’ll ever underestimate you!”“Do you really mean it?” Chaya asks, oblivious to the implications from your exchange with her father. “You’re really gonna help?”“It seems I will be.” you say, pushing yourself up from the table, turning to Karn and saluting. “If you will excuse me, General, it seems I have some urgent preparations to make.”“Of course.” he says, letting you walk right out the door. You force yourself to walk calmly to your room, shutting and locking the door behind you, then screaming bloody murder.“DAMMIT! DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT!!” you shout, dropping your chainsaw-rifle and slamming your fists into the wall over and over in frustration. “Why?! Why does this keep happening to me?”“Some may call it chance, or perhaps fate.” an all too familiar voice calls form behind you. You turn, grabbing the rifle and sighting in Karn’s metal skull trophy. But you know that voice, coming from it, all too well. “But the wisest recognize divine providence, and pray.”
>>3885883https://youtube.com/watch?v=cl-fBMkl77U“Being X!” you snarl, racking the bolt on your new rifle. “What do you want now? Come to gloat, you bastard?”“As impudent as ever, I see.” Being X says through the robotic head. While before when you and Chaya had found it sitting in a corner of the bridge a few days ago, you thought it just looked kinda dumb. But Chaya took it from the bridge, carrying it here and telling you stories of the evil Nefarious had done. But now, with Being X’s voice coming from it, the head seems absolutely evil. You have to focus to keep your exhausted arms from trembling, as you are running on fumes as it is. Dammit. “Little lost lamb, you speak as if my will hasn’t already been done. Deus Vult.”“Wait, what did you do?“ you ask, but the now-empty head says nothing as the world returns to normal. “You fucking coward, get back here!!”But of course Being X doesn’t answer, the smug asshole always having to have the last word. You debate for a moment on using your new chainsaw and cutting it in two, but that’s one of Karn’s trophies. While therapeutic, mindlessly destructive violence won’t help you now. So instead you drop the rifle and pick the head up, carrying it to the door.“AND STAY OUT!!” you shout, punting it out of your room and into the hall. Two of the pilots shout in surprise, scrambling and narrowly getting out of the way as it smashes into the far wall before dropping to the ground. You turn your back on it, your door shutting behind you. Sighing out to calm yourself down, you go to your new rifle, studying it. You need to know how this weapon works, in and out, before whatever this next war Being X is throwing your way arrives.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 104 Belated Epilogue End-

We'll go play later, so eat up before it's gone!">mfw i got adopted by karn>mission failure, it seems my life is over after all>and i pissed my pants
>>3888321Deities usually know each other. But an important distinction to make, Chronoa is in charge of time, while Being X is over reincarnation.>>3888329>spoilerThat depends: in which form? And in how much gravity?>>3888351Ha. And if someone wanted to sneak on the ship, it’s easiest when Karn and Meloka leave the ship for the night. But they’d still have to deal with the magical Saiyan, Stand-user Saiyan, Rage Saiyan, and the other kids
>>3888353>which formascended berserker>gravityearth equivalent>other factorsHe's lifting simultaneously for the sake of his family, for all saiyans, for his planet, and for all the friends he made along the way. Though it doesn't have any physical effect on the amount of resistance he is actually encountering from the weight and neither does it allow for supervillain mode, he also believes 100% that he is perceiving unjust interference from Dr. Nefarious, Chronoa, pre-redemption arc Trunks, and Godzilla, which serves to increase his motivation. This is important information to judge our readiness for Hatchiyack.
>>3888373addendum: Frieza is spotting him while he's on the bench, which allows him to attempt any weight with no loss of confidence due to his trust in his bro, while having no negative effect on motivation due to friendly rivalry pushing Karn to be his best.
>>3888373>>3888384The correct answer is however much he needs to.
>>3888690>karn literally channels one punch man in such a situation
>>3888797Not quite. Karn, while bearing everyone’s lives, hopes and dreams on his shoulders, will not allow himself to fall. Not because he hasn’t given his all and more already, but because he can’t afford to lose.
>>3888879Karn is everything I love in a fictional character.Anyways I say it's about time we interact more with the younger kids. If I'm being honest I kinda want Tomi and Tatsu to join the ginyu force. Also I'm missing our beta pal Guldo, we still gotta chad him into becoming space Dio. also wouldn't surprise me if he thought we dropped him as soon as a stronger time user popped up. He had like zero self confidence before Babidi
>>3888913Honestly, I feel like we've been neglecting some characters like Ubo.Which is unavoidable once you get to a certain number of characters in the cast and an ever-expanding family because meloka cuts holes in every single condom, but still.
>>3888879oh snapon an actually serious note, how close would you say we are to being ABLE to bullshit/luck our way into ultra instinct sign? like, how far are we from the transformation being not utterly impossible?
>>3889054I'd imagine it takes a good 30-40x more base PL than we have. We have severely more powerful transformations for our base strength than we should already, considering that Goku was near our base before 19 and Gero even showed up.
>>3889094Not to mention, we still need WAY more Ki Control to even have a chance of anything like that. I personally recommend we learn 3, not to use in battle, but to train our Ki Control by having to battle the drain of it from our reserves, forcing us to learn better control than we have.
>>3888913They could one day. Or they could lead their own team, as one of your kids already has that dream.>spoilerHe and the rest of the Ginyu Force have been very busy.>>3888920You can’t spend time with everyone if your time is devoted to training.>>3889054For Ultra Instinct; it’s not about raw power, but what lies beyond power. And Karn is far more in-tune with his instincts than Goku was. So who knows?>>3889094Well the Berserker line isn’t as reliant on base, remember in movie 1 how Goku in his base form could fight Super Saiyan Broly. Meloka holding Super Saiyan 3 is far more impressive, but not as much so when you consider the difference between hers and Goku’s ki prowess.>>3889099Again, Ultra Instinct isn’t about your control, or power, or anything else. It’s beyond thought: separating your mind from your body, allowing you to react to danger without you even being aware. Or, tldr: to move without thought.
>>3889124Karn is probably already pretty close, then. He's not much more that a gigantic, quivering pile of muscles, instinct and dadliness. It'll probably happens when he snaps someday and goes beyond green. Beyond anger.
>>3889124>Again, Ultra Instinct isn’t about your control, or power, or anything else. It’s beyond thought: separating your mind from your body, allowing you to react to danger without you even being aware. Or, tldr: to move without thought.considering karns near memetic ability to sense sneakybois, he might be close, reacting to stimulus he isnt even conciously aware of.
>>3889287Beyond anger is exactly it. Thoughts and emotions stifle one’s ability to access the power beyond gods.>>3889347Karn is a much more primal fighter than Goku, having had to rely on his instincts for far longer.
>>3889380Pic related when, GD?
>>3889380>Beyond anger is exactly it. Thoughts and emotions stifle one’s ability to access the power beyond gods.>Power Of Mortals Karn: Berserker 3 is shaking The Zeno Stadium to the core as he fights Jiren, the final Universe 7 Boi standing, but the grey boy goes 100% and knocks him on his ass. This is it. This is his limit. He can't get up. His universe and everyone in it is going to be erased. Their won't even be an afterlife. Just sheer nonexistence. He's so tired he can't even muster up the energy to get mad about that fact. But he doesn't give up.He can't afford to.He has to win.He hobbles to his feet. He can barely stand. He can barely see. Jiren launchs a punch to knock Karn out for good.*.............*The Angels are Silent. The Gods Are Silent. As Karn dodges, glows silver, and reaches power Beyond The Gods as a Purely Mortal Man.>I Am So Erect Right Now.
>>3889432Man, that's the best part about karn. Barring dealing with the time patrol, every bullshit fight that comes his way is dealt with using nothing but his own mortal energy and sheer willpower.Gods and demons, men and beasts, they all fall before the might of a mere mortal. There's just nothing better than that. He must be truly terrifying and confusing to his enemies.Like a thing that should not be.
>>3889388Only when Baki comes to challenge us so he can get gud before his big fight.I'm willing to bet he's picking fights on Yautja prime right about now.
>>3889440the other fun part is we look like a brute but can be a suprisingly technical fighter.
>>3889479I still laugh when people are taken about at how technical a fighter Karn. What's the point of being a brick-shithouse if you aren't gonna make the most use of it?
>>3889388Who knows?>>3889432You missed the part where he was knocked down several times, and everyone thought he was down, yet still got up each time.>>3889440>Man, that's the best part about karn. Barring dealing with the time patrol, every bullshit fight that comes his way is dealt with using nothing but his own mortal energy and sheer willpower.Yes. And due to certain events of the quest, Karn may not be able to become a Super Saiyan God.>>3889454Everyone knows they’re scrubs as far as fighting prowess goes. >>3889479>>3889480Yes. Most everyone expects a wall of muscle to fight like a meathead. Very few seeing Karn for the first time expect to face a highly-skilled fighter.
>>3889653>Yes. And due to certain events of the quest, Karn may not be able to become a Super Saiyan God.the abyss taint? our connection to new salada?>You missed the part where he was knocked down several times, and everyone thought he was down, yet still got up each time.karn understand the defination of give up, and says fuck that nonsense.
Less than 12 hours until we FIND THE FUCK-MOTHERING TRAITOROUS SCOUNDREL!HE RIFLES THROUGH OUR MOBILE HOME!HE LEAKS OUR PLANS AND MAKES VEGETA STRESSED AS SHIT!HE FUCKS UP OUR COMM SYSTEMS!HE PUTS OUR ENTIRE SPECIES IN DANGER!HE WILL BE EXECUTED ON LIVE BROADCAST I SWEAR!THE TRAITOR WILL BE PENITENT IN DEATH!ignore me accidentally posting this in Human Quest Super earlier
>>3889659Neither of those affect the potential for godhood. And true, Karn has pushed himself beyond his physical limits more than once.>>3889841But first, you have to find out who
>tfw woke up 3am sick>tfw stronger than ever now
>>3890114>how it feels to chew karn gum
>>3890114Oh, i forgot to ask.Aku was afraid of karn before, but now that he's got the sword, how terrified is he?What does aku think of him in general?Karn's always held up his end of the bargain, and so has aku. They have a good relationship.
>>3890114>QM with sleep deprivation: "I am growing stronger"
>>3890129Ha!>>3890134>how terrified is he?Yes.> What does aku think of him in general? That he’s the most dangerous mortal in the universe, and it’s better to be on Karn’s good side.>>3890174>QM with sleep deprivationNice tautology
>>3890178Really? that's all he thinks of him?And here i thought we were buddies! Pals!I'm hurt, aku. Truly.
>>3890184>“in general”That’s his number one thought. He respects Karn, and considers himself a friend, but that fear is still there.
>>3889653>Karn may not be able to become a Super Saiyan God.I don't think that's such a bad thing, since Karn does good work as the super-mortal and, honestly, godhood might just not fit his shtick. We can start grooming Meloka for the role.
>>3890202>Grooming MelokaEw.Anyways, I think the reason Karn might not be able to become a God has to do with either A. Pure heart bullshit, or B. The fact that Karn is a Berserker.
>>3890197I wonder if aku could help us out with this whole ghost army thing?Maybe he'll know a good way of killing ghosts en-mass, being who he is and all.We should ask him.
>>3890210Should probably also inform frieza about the breach, if he hasn't been already. And the traitor.
>>3890203Honestly I think its the fact he essentially rejects divinity as a whole because of how much of a complete and utter fuck every single god/goddess he has ever run into simply is.
ITS TIME! >>3890216
>>3890203But Berserker god exists in "canon" Dragon Ball. It probably has to do with his mindset affecting his spirit/ki or something. I mean, him thinking that everyone with god ki is a jobber (except Towaifu of course) is one of the main points in this quest. We'll go full mortal route and maybe achieve god by accident and never use it again out of fear of becoming Shin (seriously, he is Shin the Kaioshin, that's like Man the human).
