/qst/ - Quests

Seventeen years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza’s army. Since that fateful day, the Saiyans have more than earned their title of warrior race. After the now-legendary Siege of New Salda broke the might of the Covenant’s empire, no other empire has dared to openly challenge the PTO’s military superiority, or the mighty Saiyans in battle. Entire systems have surrendered without a fight, thanks in part to the battle being spread far and wide through the Vox media empire. But how long can the might of the Saiyans remain unchallenged?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 748. You the players control Karn, a Saiyan with a last-recorded powerlevel of 15,118,200, a general in Lord Freeza’s army, husband and mate to Meloka, father of many, champion of New Salda, wielder of the Stand Dragon Force, and as “The Dragon of New Salda” you are the unbroken symbol of the PTO’s might across the stars. The Saiyan race has enjoyed an unprecedented time of peace, but it seems that peace may be coming to an end.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn returned to New Salda with Arctus in tow, letting Freeza’s cousin attempt to fix the damage Nefarious caused. But after telling Meloka of the traitor, Karn sparred his wife to let her blow off steam. Unleashing her new ultimate attack, Bladestorm, Karn was nearly killed, dragged into a healing pod while he was unconscious. While out, the traitor slipped a dangerous pink Covenant crystal into the healing pod fluid, nearly killing Karn and taunting him with the message “You lose” written on the pod. But thanks to a telepathic message to King Vegeta, the young king and Meloka were able to free him. King Vegeta then used his Royal Guard to set a lockdown around Karn’s ship, while Karn and Meloka went to check in on Arctus. But as we rejoin Karn, you, Arctus, and Meloka all felt a surge of dark energy before the ship’s power went out.

“Move!” you shout, Ascending as Meloka goes Super Saiyan 3 and Arctus transforms into his final form. You lead the super-powered trio from the bridge, having felt the surge of power coming from the ship’s engine room. At this level it takes less than a second for you to make the trip, the dark energy still surging. But thar power isn’t alone, at least a half-dozen of your crew are in there with it. And despite the vaguely familiar darkness radiating from that ki, you know one thing for certain: whoever this is, isn’t the same person who wrote on the Healing Pod!

“Don’t touch that door.” an unfamiliar mind thinks to you suddenly, causing you to freeze in place. Meloka clearly hears it as well, but Arctus looks between the both of you, confused. “I’ll blow you both and this entire ship apart if you come even one step closer!”
“Who the hell are you?!” Meloka shouts, as you silently join Arctus’s mind to yours so he can ‘hear’ what’s going on. “Answer me!”
“Meloka. You delusional bitch.” comes the telepathic reply. You have to reach out and grab onto your wife to stop her from kicking the door down immediately. “I’m going to enjoy having my way with you once this is over! Nefarious promised me I could keep you as my slave, once your worthless race lies broken at our feet!”

Well? What do you do?
>Kick the door down, call this bastard’s bluff and charge in
>Keep waiting outside the door, let the bastard talk while you all think of a plan
>Keep the traitor talking while you have Bane see the situation in there
>Focus on the traitor’s dark ki and Instant Transmission in, try for a sneak attack
>Guided Eye Beams down through the floor, try and catch the traitor off-guard

“Bane, scout it out for me, would you?” you think out to the Sith Lord residing inside your mind. “I’ll keep him talking.”
“Very well.” he replies, you still holding Meloka back as you begin calling out through the door.

“If you think you can handle her, I’ll let her in there to take you down herself.” you call out through the door. Both Arctus and Meloka turn curiously to you, but before they can say anything you put your finger up to your mouth in a “shhh” gesture. “But I don’t think you can handle her.”
“Do you think this is a game?!” the voice returns in your mind, and suddenly that dark power surges. You hear what sounds like lightning for a moment before it’s drowned out by your crewmens’ agonized screams. Their cries of pain carry through the door for a few seconds, then everything is silent.
“Bastard!!” you shout, it now Meloka’s turn to hold you back. “Leave them out of this!”

“If you don’t do exactly what I say, I’ll kill them all.” he replies telepathically. Power surging again, Bane suddenly screams out in your mind, then goes silent. “And if you try anything else clever, this entire ship will self-destruct, and be blown straight to hell.”
“Karn?” Arctus asks you confused. But you don’t say anything, trying to communicate with Bane. But as the seconds roll by, and he doesn’t reply, you begin to wonder: could the traitor have seen Bane, and actually hurt the spectre? Dammit, you still have no idea who’s in there!

But what can you do? It you go through the door, your crewmen will certainly not survive. But if you don’t do something, you could lose everyone on your ship. You’re not certain just how powerful the explosion of the ship is, but with many of the Saiyan and PTO techs just outside, you doubt they’d survive. Dammit, what do you do?

Well?

“Alright you guys, I’ll keep this asshole here.” you whisper, Arctus and Meloka leaning in to better hear you. “Quietly evacuate the ship, get everyone clear. I’ll keep this asshole here and focused on me, and when everyone’s clear let me know.”
“You sure?” Arctus whispers back, uncertainly. “We could all storm in there together, and-“
“No.” you reply sternly, Arctus actually leaning back. “This bastard’s mine. You two get everyone out of here.”
“Be safe hun.” Meloka says, floating up to you and kissing you before flying off. Arctus looks between you and her a moment before leaving as well, heading off in the opposite direction.

“Alright asshole, let’s talk.” you say, focusing your telepathy exclusively on that source of the dark power. “Who are you?”
“Who am I?” it replies, you sensing the being’s amusement through the mental link. “So, looks like all my training for this day is paying off.”
“Coward.” you reply angrily, restraining yourself from smashing the door down. “So you’re too afraid of me to go face-to-face, yet familiar with my ship. So that means you’re someone on my crew. But if you are, what do you want?”
“What do I want?” it replies, you feeling a menacing air of danger radiating through the telepathic link. “I only want one thing. I want you, and your entire bastard race destroyed! You Saiyans destroyed my people! I’ve slaved away under the yoke of the PTO for years, biding my time until my chance appeared. And now, finally, I will have my revenge!”

This makes you pause, wondering who the traitor can be? It’s not one of the pilots, as he has them all trapped inside the engine room with them. The traitor wants Meloka to himself, and his people were killed by yours? But that doesn’t give you much to work on. You need more information.

“So why won’t you show yourself?” you taunt, trying to dig for more. “Too ashamed to meet me face-to-face?”
“I’m not a moron, Karn.” he replies, you feeling the ki begin pacing back and forth in the engine room. “I know I’m nowhere near strong enough to fight you, but that doesn’t mean I can’t kill you. After all, no matter how powerful you are, you can still die.”

Suddenly your instincts begin warning you that you’re in danger, a sudden cough escaping your throat. Covering your mouth with your hand, you cough up something, pulling your hand away you see a few specs of blood.

Shit, this isn’t good. What now?

“Yeah, yeah I can.” you reply with a sigh, the traitor’s confusion suddenly pouring though the telepathic link. “No matter how powerful you are, or whatever arcane secrets you discover: one day you’ll take your last breath. We all die, eventually. That’s the one undeniable truth of the universe.”
“No, you’re wrong.” the traitor suddenly replies. “I will not die. Once you and the others are gone, I’ll learn how he achieved immortality, and get it for myself!”
“He?” you ask, confused. But then suddenly, you get it. You recognize the darkness radiating from the traitor, and where you’d first felt it. That sort of dark energy that radiates from the Sith. “Bane.”
“Darth Bane has taken me on as his apprentice.” the traitor thinks to you, confirming what you’d just realized. “And once you Saiyans are gone, he shall reveal to me the secret of his immortality!”

“You idiot. That’s not true immortality, that’s an eternal prison.” you reply, coughing again as your vision begins swimming. Dammit, you can’t keep this up. You drop your transformation and return to your base form, dropping to a knee and panting in exhaustion. Your strength, having been sapped by the crystals, hasn’t had a chance to recover yet. And while you’re at maybe ten percent of your best, you’re not going to retreat. This bastard betrayed you and hurt your men, you’re not leaving until he’s dead. “The real Bane died thousands of years ago, all that’s left is a pale copy.”
“You don’t know the true power of the Dark Side!” the traitor replies, again electrocuting your crewmen for several seconds. “All this power could have been yours, but you threw it away! And now, it shall be your death!”

“Karn, it’s done.” Meloka tells you through the scouter, as you cough again. “I’m coming in!”
“No, don’t!” you say, your vision swimming a bit. “Something’s wrong, but stay back! I’m ending this.”
“What’s done? You- I see.” the voice says, a note of frustration seeping in. “You bastard, keeping me talking and focused on you while the others escaped. But it’s too late now, this ship will become your grave. You lose, Karn!”

“You lose”

The message that was written for you on the Healing Pod. What now? You’re feeling weak, but you can’t just leave your pilots behind to die, can you? But can you even fight this traitor as you are? Being trained by that Sith, there’s no telling what all he can do. But if you don’t do something soon, this could be the end.

What do you do?
>Open the door, face the traitor and see what he’ll do

fucking bane, the worst part is this shit is exactly in line with what sith do, having various apprentice's fight each other over who becomes the next sith lord. In addition he already knows we got enemies far more powerful then anything he has dealt with and he's still pulling this shit, God damn it.
>>
who else is up for destroying banes holocron/dragon forceing him out of existence after this is over?
>>
>>3914438
Nah, he's literally doing what sith do anon, in addition I guarantee he has more then 1 apprentice already so removing his holocron will do fuck all if he hangs out with them instead/possesses one of them to get a new body. All it would do is make him mad at us and he would be nefarious tier weed pulling at the exact worst time, i'd demand an answer, but not insta murder mode right now, primarily BECAUSE of all the dumb ass hatchiyack bullshit on the way.
>>
>>3914442
Best thing we can do is solidify the fact that any other apprentice is pointless.
What better way to do that than murder the rest of them?
>>
>>3914448
Oh I know, my point is there is a time and a place, going hunting for idiot weaklings right now is a terrible idea because we seriously need to be in top form to deal with hatchiyack, I can't stress enough how absolute bullshit that machine is.
>>
Somehow it feels more that Bane was giving Karn a lecture, in a way ge must have known that peon would not have been strong enough to get rid of us, however he is useful in making Karn grow, just like Sidious was on several keikaku layers to get Anakin and to become emperor.

“Dammit, I have to try.” you mutter, taking the first two fingers of your right hand and putting them to your forehead. Focusing your mind on the traitor’s ki is difficult, the cloud of dark ki swirling around him makes getting a solid lock difficult. Again you cough painfully, spitting out blood onto the floor before you. But before you close your eyes to again focus on your Instant Transmission, you notice something. The light is reflecting off of something in your blood, you reaching down and grabbing for it with your left hand’s thumb and forefinger. “Tch!”

The object surprisingly cuts your fingers as you try and grab it, you pulling your hand back and lifting it up with telekinesis. And to your surprise, you find what looks like a small of the pink crystal that nearly killed you. Somehow that bastard got some of that inside you? Shit, you’ve got to end him now, or this is only going to get worse! Once more you lift your right hand to your forehead, focusing on the traitor’s ki. With the knowledge of what’s inside you giving you a renewed sense of urgency, you quickly zero in on the traitor’s cloud of dark ki, and after another moment you feel it. One moment you’re outside the engine room, and the next you’re inside, within a foot of the familiar figure.

“Wha-!” Mouse starts, trying to turn the lightning held at the ready in his hand towards you, but it’s far too late for him now. He’s a dead man.
“GRRRRAAAAA!!!” you roar, leaping up and unleashing a powerful uppercut. Your left fist slams into the mute’s gut, but as weakened as you are doesn’t pack it’s usual power. Instead of sending Mouse crashing up through the ceiling, and out of New Salda’s orbit; he merely smashes into the ceiling then crashes back to the ground. You stand, swaying dizzily on your feet as you breathe in the engine room’s air. It doesn’t taste right, something’s wrong with the air in here! As you get a lungful, you’re sent into a violent coughing fit, clutching your chest as you’re forces down to your knee.

“E-Enjoy th-the taste?” Mouse thinks to you. You manage to look up as as he rises up to his feet, tossing his medical suit aside to reveal a pilfered suit of your own armor, badly cracked from your blow. “It’s over now. After taking in a lungful of the Destron Gas, your powers will quickly be taken away. You’re helpless now, you damn monkey! Time to make you suffer!”

Lightning once more gathers in his fingertips, both hands held out before him in preparation for his attack. Your vision swims and blurs, making it hard to focus, but you can still clearly hear the crackling of the gathering lightning storm. You have to move, now!

But can you?

“Dammit, not like this!” you think to yourself, trying to focus your ki. But something’s wrong, you not able to focus! What should only take you an instant now feels impossible, your ki not obeying your will! What’s going on? “Huh?”
“Die.” Mouse thinks to you, unleashing four powerful bolts of lightning. It’s nowhere as powerful as the ancient Sith’s storm of power, but in your weakened state it’s more than enough.

“GYAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you cry out, body spasming as the electricity courses through you. You’re helpless before the dark lightning, unable to gather your ki to defend yourself or attack. Whatever’s in the gas you’re breathing is disrupting your body’s power. The shocking attack continues for several seconds, leaving you struggling to catch your breath when it ends. But all you’re breathing is more and more smoke, sending you into another painful coughing fit. You’re left helpless before this man, who’s powerlevel is dwarfed by your normal strength thousands of times over has you completely at his mercy! Dammit, you can’t let it end like this! But the moment you’ve almost caught your breath, his attack resumes. “GRRYAAAAAA!!”

“You will pay!” he furiously projects into your mind, as his lightning painfully rips into your body. “Die! Die! DIE!!”

“GO NOAAAAAAAAH!” someone shouts out painfully, and suddenly the lightning stops. You still hear his attack, but it’s no longer tearing into your body. Opening an eye painfully, you see someone’s leapt into the line of fire. But you can’t focus on that, as suddenly you’re hauled up to your feet by your arms.
“Come on General, we’re getting out of here” someone says in your ear, as you can do nothing more than continue to cough and try to remain conscious. But before you can take more than one shaky step, you and the people holding you are all knocked down by a wave of force. “Shit! Hold on Karn, we won’t leave y-!”

But the speaker is silenced, jerked back away by that same force. You look back, seeing your pilot Roberry held in the air by an invisible force. Your eyes widen as your crewman claws at his throat, you watching helplessly as suddenly his neck snaps!

“ROBERRY!!” Nabanna shouts, his brother’s death giving him the strength to leap to his feet. “You bastard! I’ll kill you!!”

“Wai-!” you try and say, another coughing fit interrupting you. You can’t do anything, forced to watch helplessly as your pilot tries to avenge one of his own.
“DIE!!” Nabanna shouts, firing a wave of ki from his right hand. But Mouse is nearly four times as strong as him, effortlessly dodging the attack. But before Nabanna can recover, Mouse has closed the distance, and driven his fist straight through your ally’s chest. You see his fist protruding from Nabanna’s back, but your friend isn’t done yet. He reaches out, grabbing onto Mouse’s arm. For a moment he begins glowing, you realizing what he’s doing but powerless to stop him. “Got you. HAAA!!”

BOOM

The pilot’s sudden explosion ignites all the gas in the engine room, creating a much more powerful blast than you’d expected. Everything goes white, your already disoriented senses overwhelmed. Your ears are left ringing as your eyes are blinded, but you feel someone lifting you once more to your feet. You can barely support your own weight, forced to rely on your ally’s support as he helps you flee. After several seconds the ringing begins fading, your eyesight slowly returning.

“-ing to be okay. We just gotta make it outside, and we’ll be fine.” Orlen says, more to himself you think than to you. “Meloka, or King Vegeta, or someone will have heard that blast, they’ll be able to take him down.”

“Dammit. Roberry, Nabanna, I’m sorry.” you think to yourself. They’re gone, and it’s all your fault. If you’d been faster, or smarter, maybe this wouldn’t have happened. But your thoughts are interrupted as again you violently cough up more blood, and more of those pink crystal shards.

“Daddy?” a voice asks, you looking up in shock at hearing your daughter’s voice. Your little gitl Caulifla is standing in the hall, looking at you wide-eyed. “You’re hurt!”
“Help him quick!” Orlen shouts to your daughter, releasing you and turning back towards the traitor. But just as he releases you, he’s sent flying past both you and Caulifla by another invisible wave of force. You turn, seeing a badly-burned Mouse holding his right hand outstretched.

“This is over.” Mouse says telepathically to you, sparks once more dancing along his fingertips. He hasn’t yet seen your daughter, at least you think he hasn’t. But this is bad, you don’t want him to hurt your daughter. You WON’T let him hurt your daughter!

But what do you do?

You’re in no shape to help her, hell you can barely move anymore. But that doesn’t mean your daughter is helpless. You’ve spent the last year training her intensely for the coming battle, so she can take this treasonous asshole down. But only if she acts, now!

“Caulifla, bring Triumph out now!” you shout, another violent coughing fit forcing you down to your knees.
“Too late.” he tells you, unleashing his lightning at your daughter. “She dies too.”
“Triumph!!” she shouts without hesitation, her golden Stand instantly appearing between her and the coming lightning storm. Mouse’s lightning strikes her Stand, wreathing it’s form in electricity. Mouse seems stunned, his attack revealing the outline of the Stand he couldn’t see. He’s so shocked he ends his attack, taking an uncertain step back. “Fire!”
“You hurt Daddy.” she says flatly, your daughter’s usually-innocent eyes turning extremely dangerous. Her glare reminds you of your wife’s, you coughing violently as takes a step towards him. “Now I’ll hurt you.”

You watch Mouse again try to electrocute Caulifla, and again her Stand stops it. But as the lightning dances along it’s body, he ends the attack and follows the lightning up with pure force. The wave knocks you over onto your side, slamming into Triumph with enough force to buckle the hallway walls outward. But Caulifla isn’t moved, lifting her hand and pointing at him.

“Burn.” she says, and her Stand complies.
“KIIIIIIIIIII!!” it caws, sending a torrent of flames towards the traitor. He holds out both hands, forming an invisible barrier to try and protect himself. But it’s no use, her flames overwhelming the traitorous mute. You watch as his form crumples, rolling around desperately until he finally goes still. You can’t sense anything from the charred form: it’s finally over. You sigh out, once more violently coughing blood.

“Daddy!!” she shouts, rushing over to you. She rolls you onto your back, opening your mouth with her hand and having Triumph drop a crystal blue tear down into your mouth. “Everything’s gonna be okay! I’m here to help!”

You feel the familiar surge of healing energy flooding throughout your body, and after several seconds begin feeling somewhat better. You’re still nowhere near your peak, but you’re in much better shape than you were moments ago.

“Please be okay.” she whispers, over and over as she holds your hand in both of hers. “Please Daddy, please!”
“You did it Cauli-“ you start, again succumbing to a coughing fit. Although it’s not nearly as bad as before, you still feel it deep in your chest. Her healing didn’t get the remains of that pink crystal out of your body, you need to get that taken care of, and soon.
“DADDY?!” she shouts in surprise and confusion, you pulling your daughter to you and hugging her.
“Thank you Caulifla.” you say, your daughter’s glee from your praise radiating off of her. “You saved me kiddo.”
“Tee hee, I know.” she says with a smile. Chuckling, you hold your daughter close and rise back up to your feet. But after a moment she “Oh!”s, squirming in your arms.
“What’s wrong?” you ask, letting her go.
“Orlen!” she shouts, rushing over towards your pilot who was blasted away by Mouse. You watch as she begins healing him, you feeling another pang of guilt. But before you can dwell on it, your instincts warn you that you’re in danger!

Your instincts warn of danger behind you, but despite being momentarily forewarned, you can’t move fast enough to evade it. You try and turn counterclockwise, but a blast of raw force slams square into your back.

“Shit!” you shout, the surprise attack sending you tumbling forward. You roll forward twice, slamming your left hand onto the ground and spinning around to face your attacker.
“You! Must! Die!” the horrifically burned Mouse screams out with telepathy, firing a wave of kinetic force with each shout. But this time you’re ready, crossing your arms and blocking. Wave after wave of force slams into you, but he can’t even budge you now. So he switches tactics, unleashing another storm of lightning. You have no time to move, tanking it head-on. Snarling in pain, you force your spasming muscles to hold, keeping your guard up. His frustration visibly builds, and after several agonizing seconds his corpse-like form leaps, arm pulled back to strike at your head. But as he closes in, your consciousness wavers, the world spinning. Your eyes close for a moment, and when you open them again nothing makes sense.

“Huh?” you say, confused. Your right arm, instead of being crossed with your left, is somehow protruding through Mouse’s back. His own right fist somehow narrowly missed your head, you blinking curiously. You hadn’t even felt your body move, yet somehow you countered him.
“What?” Mouse asks you, his ki fading quicker and quicker. “But... How....?”

And with that his energy vanishes, the traitor’s body going completely limp. But with his death, the last of your own energy runs out. With a sigh you drop forward, never even feeling yourself hit the ground.

“Here again, huh?” you mutter to yourself, as once more you find yourself drifting in the void. But this time Towa isn’t there to greet you, you’re all alone. But this does give you a moment to think, to ponder a very important question: what the hell happened? You remember the lightning, then Mouse’s charred corpse leaping at you in a desperate final attack. But then the next thing you know your fist has punched through him on it’s own, and his own punch somehow missed you. You didn’t move, you didn’t have time, yet somehow your arm moved on it’s own without you. No matter how you look at it, what happened was simply impossible. Maybe you were seeing things, your brain unable to process you dying? “Am I dead?”
“Far from it, Karn.” a pleasantly-familiar voice calls out. “You’ve done something very, very special.”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=IkgSOy-S-eU

“Hey Towa.” you say, drifting over towards the demon princess. The seal on your hand doesn’t begin heating up, as it would in the presence of any other: this is your Towa. “I take it you were watching. So fill me in, what happened?”
“It’s too early to say for certain, but I believe you’ve touched the power to surpass gods.”
“Surpassing gods? You mean like the Supreme Kai?” you ask, Towa shaking her head.
“No, not like that pathetic weakling.” she says, holding up her scrying orb. “I mean the Destroyer gods, and perhaps even the Supreme Kai of Time herself!”
“No way.” you say, looking down at your right hand. “The power to rival gods...”

CRACK

The darkness around you begins shattering, you looking around confused for a moment.

“Looks like they got the last of the crystal out, you’ll be awake soon.” Towa says, kissing you then quickly finishing what she was saying. “But right now, you’re not anywhere near strong enough. You must get stronger, Karn. Strong enough to o-“

And you’re suddenly awake.

“Mhrmm.” you mumble, squinting against an impossibility bright light as you try and sit up. But before you can rise more than an inch or so, two powerful hands grab your shoulders and hold you down.
“Relax hun, don’t move.” Meloka whispers into your ear, you immediately relaxing. But you’re curious about an odd sensation in your chest, looking down and seeing your chest cavity’s been opened.
“What the hell?” you ask, confused as you see a massive hole in your chest.
“It’s okay Daddy, we just had to get the bad rock out of you.” Caulifla says, your daughter smiling at you as Dr. White gingerly plucks one last crystal fragments away with a pair of tweezers. “I’ll fix you up now! Triumph!”
“KIIIIIII!” her Stand calls, dropping three blue tears into the massive hole. It only takes a few seconds, but now you’re fully healed.

“See? All better.” she says happily, as the wound in your chest is fully healed. Caulifla beams at you, you smiling back at your daughter. “I fixed Daddy!”
“Sorry, General.” Dr. White says, you turning and looking at your elderly doctor. “I should have seen this coming.”
“Hey, it’s not your fault Doc.” you say, reaching out and grabbing the man’s hand. “We may not have always been friends, but you’ve always done right by me and my family. So don’t blame yourself.”
“I appreciate your words.” he says, carefully placing the crystals in a container, sealing it. “But now I must find a new assistant.”
“Yeah...” you mutter, Roberry and Nabanna’s faces flashing in your mind. “Dammit.”
“Daddy?” Caulifla asks, curious. “What’s wrong?”
“Ah, don’t worry about it kiddo.” you say, ruffling her hair. “You did good.”
“Yay!” she says, hugging you with a carefree smile. But Meloka understands, your wife leaning over and resting her forehead against your. You savor this moment of peace, enjoying simply having survived the traitor. But one thought still nags at you, who wrote that “You lose” on the Healing Pod? There’s something else going on here, but what?

“Meloka, is Karn up?” King Vegeta asks, angrily storming in. You’ve been around Vegeta since he was only as young as Caulifla, so you can easily judge his mood. And right now, he’s absolutely furious. “Perfect. Karn, you ready?”
“Of course.” you reply, setting Caulifla on your shoulder as you rise to your feet. “What’s going on?”
“We’re minutes away from the attack.” he says, you blinking in surprise. “It’s about to go down, you good to go?”
“Hatchiyack.” you say, clenching your fists. So, it’s finally time. The battle that will determine the fate of the Saiyan race is finally here. “Yeah, I’m ready.”
“Alright, let’s go.” Vegeta says, turning and almost running from the room. You and Meloka follow after Vegeta, Caulifla humming idly on your shoulder as you stride forward to face your destiny.

Also, I just realized... Sure we only tapped into it for a fraction of a second, but... Our base power is nowhere near TOP Goku's, and we just pulled out UI **without** our everything breaking from it worse than it already had. No absolutely ridiculous pain before we fell unconscious, seemingly no massive issues on our Ki from using it... I daresay that Karn's ridiculous endurance is definitely a strong-suit for UI, along with the fact he literally constantly relies on instinct over practiced, methodical movements.
>>
>>3916018
I mean I wouldn't say constantly, We have taken in several styles at this point.
>>
>>3916019
We use styles, yeah, but we don't sit there and practice the strikes for said styles constantly during our training like say, Goku or Vegeta. Instead, we use the general movements of the style to improvise strikes.
>>
>>3916021
True, It's hard to imagine Karn sitting in front of mirror perfecting a jab for hours a day.
>>
>>3916018
Nah we tanked UI pretty much no worse for wear considering we had covanent crystals literally destroying us from the inside out. Like if UI was THAT harmful we should have died. Long term it's probably bad to rely on because of the gigantic amounts of power thrown around, however we seem to currently be ok.

Vegeta fills you in on the situation as he leads you from the castle, people running about every which way in a near panic. It seems that Nefarious had been inside the system for quite some time, allowing him to hide the Dark Planet’s far-faster progress than Towa’s estimate. And even worse, apparently someone or someones have been sneaking around, dropping small poisonous gas emitters everywhere.

“You lose”

That taunt still haunts you, you realizing just how badly you’ve been outplayed from the beginning. You’d thought because you had Towa giving you forewarning about the attack that you could train and catch them unprepared, but it looks like Nefarious has been three steps ahead.

“Destron Gas.” you say with a snarl, Vegeta stopping and turning to you confused.
“What did you say?” he asks. “You know about this?”
“Yeah, that’s what Mouse called it.” you say, filling him in on what happened. “He’d filled the engine room of my ship with the stuff. Breathing it in fucks you up, making it impossible to focus your ki. That’s why that bastard almost got me.”

“Dammit. More than ten percent of our fighting force is down due to that smoke.” he snarls, kicking open the palace doors and storming outside. You see a line of the non-combatants being led through Raven’s portal, but it’s not like anything you’ve seen her do before. Instead of being a free-floating disc of darkness, you see a wide stone arch with unfamiliar runes glowing white along it’s surface. And secondly it’s huge, ten of you in your Berserker forms could walk side-by-side through it without touching each other. Spotting Raven, the Guardian of New Salda standing on the arch watching over her people, you see she’s not alone.
“Chilli?” you say, surprised. He seems to be either helping her, directing traffic, or simply observing; but knowing that boy it’s probably all three. But another thought hits, you turning to Meloka. “Wait. Where’s everyone else?”

“They’re safe at Dreadzone, with your old man Tatsu.” she says, relief washing over you. “Chaya and Broly are making sure they don’t get into too much trouble.”
“Good.” you say, sighing out. If they’re clear, and this goes south, Chaya and Broly can keep them safe. And your old man is a clever bastard when he wants to be, they’ll be fine. But you have to put them out of your mind, and focus on the task before you. The fate of New Salda rests on your shoulders!
“We’ve only got minutes left.” Vegeta tells you. “If there’s anything else you need to do, now’s the time. We’re in for a hell of a fight.”

“I have to go get my sword.” you say, lifting up into the air. Caulifla holds on, riding along as you fly off towards the field you’d sparred with your wife. As you fly towards the ancient blade, you look at your daughter resting on your shoulder, idly kicking her legs. “Hey kiddo, you ready?”
“Yeah!” she says excitedly, throwing her arms up. This causes her to lose her balance, rolling backwards off you. You stop your flight, turning back to your daughter. “I’m gonna help everyone!”
“If everything starts getting dangerous, find Raven and get away.” you say, your daughter nodding seriously. “Things are gonna go bad today, and if you get hurt no one can save you Caulifla. You’re the only one who can save everyone else if they get hurt, you have to stay safe.”
“Okay!” she says, Triumph appearing behind her and screeching. “I’ll be safe!”
“Alright, let’s go.” you say, flying with your daughter back to your sword. You land by the ancient blade, it still standing point-down in the ground where you’d left it. You reach out and grab the sword, lifting it up and resting it on your shoulder. “You ready kiddo? Let’s head ba-“

Suddenly the sun is eclipsed, you both looking up in surprise. The approaching Dark Planet blocks out the sun, you not needing your instincts warning you that the coming planet is dangerous. But as you look up at it, suddenly your instincts warning you makes more sense. Hundreds of objects are filling the sky, your eyes widening in surprise.

“Get behind me!” you shout, bracing yourself as the objects close in faster and faster. You don’t sense any ki coming from them, so whatever the objects are, they’re unmanned.

Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath, you focus on the planet you call home and begin taking in it’s energy. Your aura shifts to a deep green around you, the planet’s energy augmenting your strength and senses. You become aware of everyone on New Salda, your senses expanding out and encompassing your world. But you‘re not done there, focusing on your own power and transforming. Your body rapidly expands to compensate for the sudden increase in power.

“GRRAAAAAA!!” you roar out, combining your Berserker form with the power of New Salda’s Champion. Your strength grows to several hundred times greater than before, the ground cracking beneath your feet. And to your surprise, as you transform and grow larger, the Wolf Knight sword does as well. While you nearly double in size, so too does the ancient weapon. “Huh.”
“Woah, it got super big!!” Caulifla says excitedly, eyes wide as she stares at the now super-sized sword. “ That’s so cool!”
“I didn’t know it couldcan do that.” you say, studying the ancient weapon a moment. And while this is a surprising development, you can’t focus on it, as the objects begin crashing into New Salda around you. So you focus your mind, reaching out to New Salda itself and thinking. “It’s time.”
“Very well.” the planet’s avatar replies, the ground shifting beneath your feet. You reach out as well, finding her children and directing them to climb upwards to you. “Good luck, my champion.”

“Hey Daddy, look!” Caulifla shouts, drawing your focus back to what’s before you. The objects that crashed down to New Salda have begun unfolding themselves, turning into rather large robots. They’re not as big as you are now, but you’d say they’re at least as big as Nappa. “Robots!”
“Stay back kiddo.” you say, taking your Djem So stance with the massive Wolf Knight sword as the half-dozen robots all turn towards you. “Don’t let them get close to you.
“Destroy all Saiyans!” their robotic voices call in unison. From several vents on their bodies a black smoke begins to pour forth, you knowing all too well what that’ll do to you. Lifting their right arms, they all point multi-barreled cannons that begin glowing with blue energy at you. Well, this isn’t good.

What do you do?
>Rush and attack, cut then all down with your blade
>Defend, see what these robots can do
>Evade their blasts and the smoke, learn what they can do
>Channel your ki and fire off Death Slashes through the sword

“Yeah, no.” you say, shifting the greatsword into your left hand as you leap high into the air. “Caulifla, don’t get close to them! DRAGON FORCE!!”
“GUUROOOOOAAAAAR!” your Stand roars as it materializes around you, the machines now aiming up at your Stand’s head.
“HAAAA!!” you shout, punching down at the ground. Your Stand roars as well, it’s massive right fist mirroring you and crashing down onto the machines. And to your surprise, a shield suddenly springs up around each one of them. But the barriers are weak, your Stand shattering them all and crushing the first half-dozen machines with a single punch. The rest begin firing their energy cannons, the attacks passing harmlessly through your giant Stand’s form. None of the shots come close to actually hitting you, allowing you to focus on smashing the smaller machines flat.

“Go Daddy go!!” Caulifla shouts, standing proudly on Triumph’s back and watching you unleash your wrath. “Smash ‘em all! Break the dumb robots!”
“Grroooaaaaar!!” Dragon Force roars, your Stand’s massive fists reducing the dozens of robots to scrap in seconds. With the nearby robots destroyed you banish your Stand, drifting back to the ground as New Salda’s children begin to surface.
“My champion, you must hurry.” New Salda’s voice booms in your head, amplified by her soldiers all . “Invaders are landing everywhere, spitting poison. You must destroy them, utterly and completely.”
“Don’t worry, I will destroy them.” you reply, focusing on you Champion form’s enhanced perception. With your connection to the planet’s energy, you can sense the locations of all the foreign objects that just crashed down to the planet. They crashed in the heaviest volume in and around the city, thousands and thousands of the machine warriors on the attack. But that’s not all, more have crashed down all over the land. Many of the ones not immediately attacking the city landed to the cold north, hundreds more crashing down into the massive forest, and the islands to the far south of the continent.

“There’s so many...” you mutter, looking up and seeing more and more of the machines dropping down from the Dark Planet. You take a calming breath, feeling your planet’s strength surging throughout your body. You’ve been preparing for this for almost a year now, now it’s time to see if all your training has paid off!

By the way, do we have anyone on board left who can at least passably fly the ship, in case we need to make a getaway or chase someone?

You know what we should do next time an invasion occurs? We should make Vox market it as a special once in a lifetime event to fight alongside Karn in a massive team battle royale. Honestly we can't keep doing this alone, might as well get Vox to help out if he's gonna profit of our wars anyways.

Ngl, that Zenkai is absurd, and puts at about 1 Billion over Final Form King Cold. I'm going to laugh so hard if Mouses attempts to kill us, and Meloka's anger at his existence, gives us the power needed to murk Hatchyak and the Arbiter.

Also guys, while Dragon Force can shit on these mook bots and their shields, be careful that shit when a actual boss appears, because we all know Ghost Arbiter would be happy to snipe us in the back while we have DF if he got a chance.
>>
>>3917145
>Ngl, that Zenkai is absurd
Not when you consider what happened to get you there. First, Meloka’s Bladestorm almost killed you. Then after getting out of the healing pod you went Super Saiyan with that crystal still carving up your insides and sapping your strength, then you breathe in enough concentrated Destron Gas to make your ki completely unusable and almost knock you out, getting electrocuted twice, and then your body burning everything it had left just to follow your instincts and survive. All in all, Karn just went through hell, and it’s about to get much, much worse.
>because we all know Ghost Arbiter would be happy to snipe us in the back
He’s not the only one, but is perhaps the strongest.

How would the True arbiter (not controlled by Hatchiyak) feel about how his soul being enslaved and used as a tool of genocide by a foreign power?
Is it heresy of the highest order to use the Covenant’s deceased like this?
>>
>>3917290
And ask yourself this: How are the Covenant going to react when they see the Arbiter returning as a hate ghost?
>>
>>3917290
pretty much is, they would be pretty damn salty all things considered.
>>
>>3917290
If it means finally getting his revenge on you, he’s cool with it. And that depends on one very important question: was this done against the old worms’ will, or do they have their fingers in this attack?
>>
>>3917709
The answer to that question only changes when they would declare it heretical. It would be terribly convenient to announce the heresy after the PTO's defeat and when Hatchiyak's exhausted most of his resources. Can't exactly let him run around freely when he can destroy such a powerful foe, after all.
At least, that's my opinion on their tactics.
>>
>>3917783
NOW you’re thinking like the “prophets”. Their Covenant is in shambles, various factions splitting away openly like the Jiralhanae did, or more subtly betraying them like the Kig Yar have been. Even some of the Sangheili have split; what was once a powerful military empire has been reduced to essentially several different warring states. Several other universal players have been chipping away at the fringes, claiming their territory.

QM QUESTION

Now that this survival battle is finally upon us, has everyone had fun so far? What’s been your favorite moment from this arc, and if you win this battle where do you think the story will go from here? Curious about how further future arcs, such as ‘Battle of Gods’ will play out now that we’ve diverted so far from canon? Also, this week’s epilogue will be a follow up from the last one, this time focusing on Chaya’s perspective. Wonder how she’ll handle the news knowing the battle has already started without her...?

>What you achieved wasn’t quite Omen, not nearly yet. But your arm and neck did move on their own, and doing that little completely sapped your body’s reserves of energy.
I mean, at that point, we were already poised from the Destun Gas or whatever you called it, probably improperly healed from the sabatoged Healing Pod, energy drained and bleeding internally by the Needler Crystals inside our bodies, and then we got hit with Sith Lightning and I think blown up? Saying it took all our energy to just move our arm and neck isn't really a large milestone by any measure in those conditions.

These bodies are not their original bodies. They are dead. Even when the entire canon cast die they get revived with their original bodies back. Sarada and Leyas do not. In character you have no idea. And the hate ghosts wouldn’t attack him, at least not on sight. He’s no Saiyan, after all, and they bear no grudge against him. But if the Arbiter sees Tivius and the Jiralhanae, however, he’ll probably attack the “traitors” for joining with the enemy.
>>3919979

Because the two together sound broken as shit.

>>
>>3919996
>And the hate ghosts wouldn’t attack him, at least not on sight. He’s no Saiyan, after all, and they bear no grudge against him
This just gives me the vision of some poor Vox camera man, stuck in the middle of a pitched battle, while everyone avoids hitting him since he’s not on either side, and the guy is so terrified he’s gone into pure FUCK YEAH mode, and he’s just bombastically broadcasting and narrative everything he sees like he was Jimmy Firecracker at the Cell Games.

Probably very well, considering it's about leaning WITH wherever you're already being moved, just trusting in an outside motion without thinking for your own movements.
>>
>>3920070
Not particularly well, surprisingly. Ultra Instinct is beyond fighting styles, as your body simply moves.
>Not to mention we're gonna be in the market for a new trainer anyways after we smash Bane's holocron.
In his defense, and you don’t yet know this in character. ‘Your’ Bane imprinted in your mind didn’t know about the other one in Mouse’s head, or even any others that could exist for that matter until he saw it and was attacked. Touching the holocron allows Bane to essentially make an imprint, or copy in someone’s mind that only they(or anyone else who’s sensitive to such things) can perceive.
>>3920073
>jimmy firecracker
Closest they have is Dallas Wanamaker. And Dreadzone doesn’t use living cameramen, as things like health insurance and hazard pay are costly.
>>3920323
Not quite. Camali’s style relies on you seeing, processing, and reacting to your opponent‘s or potentially opponents’, attacks. Whereas with Ultra Instinct, the body simply moves. Trying to train a fighting style to better utilize Ultra Instinct is sort of like riding a bike to learn how to swim.
>>
>>3921559
>Not particularly well, surprisingly
Doesn't matter, learning it anyways. I'm also ready to talk trash-talking and crowd work lessons from Chaya for extra Ali points.
>Touching the holocron allows Bane to essentially make an imprint, or copy in someone’s mind
Ah. That complicates things. So on top of smashing that Holocron, we've also gotta start having fucking Sith duels with whoever was lucky enough to touch the damn thing.
How can we make our Bane stronger?
>Trying to train a fighting style to better utilize Ultra Instinct is sort of like riding a bike to learn how to swim.
I've caught greased pigs. You know not my power.
>>
>>3921559
Mouse did namedrop Bane though. So why wouldn't we want to beat the shit out of his dinky toy since he has no body? It's not like we know everyone gets their own pet ghost if they touch the thing. For all we know it's the same Bane. Also makes even more sense to bust it so we don't end up getting more ghost worshiping morons around.
>>
>>3921669
More people need to be like Karn and understand when people are trying to manipulate them and counter-manipulate them for goodies.
I also wonder if we can get the guardian to imprint on Karn too.
>>
>>3921559
>bane actually is a different existence for each person with the holocron
Honestly I wouldn't feel bad if we got our bane a shiny new body using one of the idiots who also touched a holocron, because ours at least is a bro and he knows full damn well the absolute bullshit we have to deal with.
>>
>>3922021
I got an idea
Just follow me here;
>Bane (our Bane) is a unique entity in our consciousness
>he's only perceivable to force sensitives, yet can still interact with the world around him via limited force powers
>only seems to be affected by other force ghosts
now here's where it gets tricky
>Dragon Force, our stand, is a unique entity in our consciousness
>Stands can only percieved by Stand users, yet can still interact with the world around them via unique abilities
>the only thing that can effect a Stand is another Stand
>therefore Dragon Force is basically a force ghost
and now for the stupid part that probably won't work
>learn actual Jedi tier meditation
>deep dive into Karn's mental landscape
>steer very fucking clear of the Berserk Valley and the Autistic Plains
>find Dragon Force and Bane
>have them switch places
>we can now Summon Darth Bane as our stand
>???
>profit
>>
>>3922068

>>
>>3922093
I'm not saying it's permanent, I'm just saying it'd be cool to see if we could manifest Bane like that.
Dragon Force is basically Karn, I wouldn't want him shelved like that.
>>

Ha. At first she’d play the “you got beat by a kid” line, but as she’s gotten older and become more accustomed to being champ she quit playing up that angle. She’s 14 after all, and practically an adult.
At least in her opinion.

Not quite. Stands are a psychic manifestation of a person’s fighting spirit, whereas what Bane is is a construct created with the likeness, memories, and part of the soul of it’s creator that was stored within the holocron.
>>3922112
I will say, OOC, that claiming the Darklurker’s soul won’t have any direct impact on your health, physically or spiritually.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 107 Epilogue-

AGE 748, DREADZONE ARENA

“And what is this? It looks like our champion, Chaya, has stepped into the ring!” Dallas shouts, your crowd roaring even louder as they see you’ve stepped into the ring. “Seems like this fight is just heating up!”
“Well, looks like it’s my turn.” you say, rolling your right shoulder and quickly transforming into a Super Saiyan. You are Chaya: the undisputed Champion of Dreadzone, Ascended Super Saiyan, and daughter of Karn and Chaya. “Whaddya say, you two ready?”
“I’m ready.” your little twin siblings Tatsu and Tomi say, perfectly in sync as their combined purple aura begins changing to gold as well. Their uniquely-merged strength power explodes out as they take on the powerful Super Saiyan form. “Let’s go.”
“We’ve not seen Chaya fighting one of her siblings since her match with Broly years ago.” Juanita says over the roaring of the crowd as you take your stance. “This shall be quite the show.”

“Alright, here goes!” you shout, gathering your ki into your right fist and firing it as a Ki Punch Blast. But you don’t simply attack with one blast, instead using it as a distraction to dash and get around behind the twins. Your ploy works, Tatsu and Tomi blocking the blast with a ki blast of their own. The two attacks detonate in a powerful explosion, the noise covering your approach. “Gotcha.”
“Huh?” they both say, still weirdly speaking at the exact same time. It’s a habit of theirs you find creepy, something about it making the back of your neck crawl.
“HAAA!!” you shout, spinning and hitting Tomi in her left side with a turning right heel kick. Unable to block, your younger sister is knocked back, but instead of being sent flying the twins turn the attack around. Twisting from the impact, Tatsu is spun towards you. And with the force of your own kick added to his momentum, he lands a solid right punch square to your jaw. Your younger brother, when pooling his energy with Tomi’s like this, actually packs quite a punch. His attack sends you backwards, but you won’t get knocked away that easily! Using the momentum from his punch you flip backwards, kicking him in the jaw with your left foot. This results in both you and the twins getting knocked away from each other, your audience cheering.

“I, uhh, didn’t quite catch that.” Dallas says, confused. “Could you follow that exchange, Juanita?”
“It seems that the twins are quite capable when fighting hand-in-hand, as they were able to land a single hit on our champion.” she says, matter-of-factly. “This could turn into quite the match.”
“Heh, not bad!” you call out, wiping your mouth with the back of your right hand then resuming your stance. “Let’s keep going!”

“Let’s. go” they say, both pointing their unjoined hands at you. You watch as they both gather their joined ki, holding a pair of large blasts in their free hands. “HAAA!!”

“Damn, can’t let those hit the arena.” you think to yourself, bracing for impact. As the two spheres of power close in you actually reach out, catching the twin blasts. “HRRAAAAA!!”
“Impressive!” Dallas shouts, as you’re knocked back a dozen or so feet before stopping the attack. “Our champ has managed to completely stop those twins’ terrifying attacks!”
“Grrrrr! Hrrrraaaaa!!” you shout, slamming the two blasts together. You force the two attacks together, straining to keep the powerful blasts from blowing up right in your face. But you succeed, slamming the two blasts together and crushing them down small enough to disappear between your hands. “Haaah, haaah, haah. Hey Tatsu, Tomi. Guess what?”

“Wha-?” they both ask, you smirking and releasing your hold on the barely-restrained power. Their attack’s energy explodes outward and right back up at them. Before they can react, the now-massive surge of ki consumes them and forces them apart.
“Haha, gotcha!” you shout up, taunting them as your siblings cough on the smoke kicked up by their own power slamming back into them. Now separated, both of their individual powers shrink by several times compared to their combined ki. “Come on, you guys gotta try harder than that!”
“H-Hey!” they shout indignantly, and blast the smoke away by flaring their golden auras. “No fair!”
“You can’t let your guard down that easy!” you taunt, then dash right towards them, Without time to regroup and combine their powers once more, the twins are both forced to block themselves. “RRRAAAAAAA!!!”

You dash in, flying at Tomu first and slamming your right fist square into her crossed arms. Your hit sends your little sister back a few feet, following up by twisting counterclockwise and slamming a left backfist into Tatsu’s guard. The strike leaves your little brother wide open, following up by continuing the spin and crashing your right fist into his gut. Tatsu wheezes as you force the air from his lungs, you following up with a front flip two-handed axe-handle strike. The powerful blow sends your little brother crashing down hard to the arena floor far below.

“HYYYAAAAAA!!” Tomi shouts, you turning towards her just in time to see her fire another large ki bomb right towards you.

“Shit!” you hiss, and with no time to evade are forced to block. You cross your arms before you, moments before the blast hits. Her attack slams into you, exploding on contact with surprisingly respectable force. Were your power down at her level, that attack would have caused considerable damage. But as strong as you are, her attack does nothing more than obscure your vision for a few moments. You sweep your left arm, blowing the smoke aside, only to see that Tomi’s readied another blast. But you’re not taking it head-on, quickly gathering your ki into your right fist to intercept it. But you don’t prepare a usual Ki Punch, remembering the variant you’d developed with Chilli’s help.

“HYYAAAA!!” Tomi shouts, firing another large blast. But this time you’re ready, pulling back your right fist.
“HAAA!!” you shout, punching her attack with your Reflect Punch. Instead of detonating against you, your Reflect Punch sends her energy blast right back at her. She doesn’t even have time to shout in surprise, her own attack exploding in her face. Your younger sister is blasted downwards, crashing hard into the arena below. But before you can pursue her, Tatsu grabs you by your feet.
“Gotcha!” he shouts, flipping forwards and tossing you down towards the arena as well. You simply flip backwards twice, landing gracefully on your feet without even cracking the tiles. But looking up, you see that Tatsu’s surprisingly closed the distance, ki gathered in his right fist for a Ki Punch. “HRRYAAAA!”

“Nice try!” you taunt, leaning to your left and twisting just enough for his attack to miss you completely. Before he can change course, due to his speed, his energy-clad fist slams into the arena floor and explodes. “But not good enough!”
“GYUH!!” he wheezes again, as you slam your left knee into his gut and send your little brother flying. He’s about to fly out of the ring, but before he can Tomi intercepts him, catching her twin and saving him from a ring-out. “O-Ouch.”
“Not bad you two, you’ve gotten a lot better.” you say, but before you can say anything else your fight is interrupted.

“This just in, we have a live Vox News alert!” Dallas shouts, you looking up to the overhead screen on one wall. What could be so important that they’d take your fan’s eyes off you? This better be important! “Take it away Darla.”

“Thanks Dallas.” the robotic reporter lady Darla says, a very familiar city behind her as the image comes into focus. But your eyes widen in surprise, as you see machines raining from the sky! “Reporting to you live from New Salda, it seems that once more the Saiyan homeworld is under attack! An unnamed planetoid has appeared in the sky, blocking out the sun. And as you can see behind me, the planet has begun launching these fighting robots against the Saiyan main city.”

“Uh-oh.” Tatsu and Tomi say, both turning to you worriedly. But you can’t look away, blood turning to ice. You saw from big you last time you were at Towa’s what you’d be up against, and how dangerous those evil robots are. But it’s way too early, this fight’s not supposed to be for another month! What’s going on?
“No word yet on where Karn or Meloka are, but the Saiyan warriors have been mobilized.” Darla continues, you watching as Dad’s friend Leyas suddenly dashes in at the trio of machines behind the reporter. You watch as his fist slams into the first one, but doesn’t actually hit. Instead a bubble-like shield springs up, intercepting his punch. He seems almost as surprised as you are, flipping back as the other two begin bellowing black smoke at him. He avoids the cloud, the trio gathering energy in their arm cannons and firing at him.
“Now!” he shouts, the trio suddenly flattened by a massive ball of ki. The camera retraces that attack’s path, seeing Ms. Sarada in the air.
“HAAA!!” she shouts, it exploding and sending scraps flying everywhere.

“We’ll being you more updates as the battle unfolds, full battle coverage has begun on Vox channel 64. Darla Gratch, Vox News.”
“Thanks Darla.” Juanita says, the screen shifting away from the battle and returning to you. “Now, back to the fi- Wait? Chaya, where are you going?”
“My home is in danger!” you shout, Tatsu and Tomi following you as you lift into the air. This is no time for Saiyans to be fighting each other. I’m going to go save my planet!”
