/qst/ - Quests

Seventeen years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza’s army. Since that fateful day, the Saiyans have more than earned their title of warrior race. After the now-legendary Siege of New Salda broke the might of the Covenant’s empire, no other empire has dared to openly challenge the PTO’s military superiority, or the mighty Saiyans in battle. Entire systems have surrendered without a fight, thanks in part to the battle being spread far and wide through the Vox media empire. But how long can the might of the Saiyans remain unchallenged?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 748. You the players control Karn, a Saiyan with a last-recorded powerlevel of 17,207,900, a general in Lord Freeza’s army, husband and mate to Meloka, father of many, champion of New Salda, wielder of the Stand Dragon Force, and as “The Dragon of New Salda” you are the unbroken symbol of the PTO’s might across the stars. The Saiyan race has enjoyed an unprecedented time of peace, but it seems that peace may be coming to an end.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Once more war has come to New Salda. The Dark Planet had arrived, raining down millions of mechanical soldiers to exterminate the Saiyan race. After fighting alongside his daughter Caulifla and her Stand, Triumph, Karn then traveled to the Dark Planet to find Hatchiyack. But the planet’s atmosphere was full of Destron Gas, Karn using the Hamon breathing he’d learned from both Raven and the late Guardian of New Salda to purge his system of the gas while fighting the ghost warrior form of the Arbiter and Nefarious. Once he’d realized he couldn’t destroy them permanently, Karn scoured the planet, destroying every Destron Gas generator he could find. And as we rejoin Karn, still in Berserker form, you stand ready to take down Hatchiyack once and for all!

“You will go no farther.” the Arbiter says, once more appearing out of the smoke before you. But this time he’s not alone, more than a dozen of your fallen foes all appearing behind him. Some you recognize; like Nefarious, the massive form of Dunn’s lizard god, and the three-headed golden lizard from the same world. Others you don’t quite remember, such as the almost-familiar pair of blonde-haired young men before you, and an elderly blue alien. You face them all down, focusing on your Hamon breathing to keep purging the Destron Gas from your body. “The results of your uncountable crimes now stand before you, Karn. Everyone you have wronged stands against you, and by our combined might you shall meet your end! This, is true justice!”

“None of you could beat me when you were alive.” you taunt, trying to rile them up as you take your fighting stance. “What makes you so sure you can win now?”
“We’ve been watching you, some of us for years.” an unfamiliar creature, covered in some organic black shell armor says, popping his knuckles. “We know everything.”
“And by our might, you shall fall!” one of the blonde haired men says, a chain with a spear tip dropping from his right hand. “You’ll pay for what you’ve done!”

Well? What do you do?
>Red Dawn, try to destroy them all in one big blast
>Wolf Knight sword and Djem So, cut them down until they can’t reform their bodies anymore
>Event Horizon, but aim it down at the Dark Planet itself.
>Keep your distance, take them down with ranged ki attacks
>They’re still just smoke, Dragon Force and Fire Breath
>Dragon Force and Nova, burn as much of the Destron Gas as possible in one attack
>Retreat for now, Instant Transmission back to New Salda to regroup
>Other(write in)

And what form will you use?

Yeah, I'm not stupid enough to turn this into a 12+ on 1 match, especially with all these guys' abilities.
If we can get Meloka, Ubo, or Bardock up here with us though...

“Oh yeah?” you ask, switching your greatsword into your left hand. You hold it in a reverse grip, like that one force-wielder you’d met did. You hold it back behind as you hold your right up, taking a defensive stance and focusing most of your attention on your ki sense. “How about I use a technique none of you have fought before?”
“First I’ll take your power!” one of the blonde-haired men shouts, an all-too-familiar green aura radiating from his body. You still can’t sense anything from the ghost warriors, but you can tell he’s somehow copying your Berserker form! You smirk, realizing he can’t possibly control that rage as you lock in on one of the strongest ki signatures radiating out from New Salda. Time to go. “Grrraaaaaaaa!!”

“Later.” you say, placing your first two fingers to your forehead. Using Instant Transmission, one moment you’re on the Dark Planet and the next you’re back home. But although it doesn’t look like you’d left it, the sight of the Saiyan city a burning ruin is almost more familiar to you. “We’ve got a problem.”
“You’re damn right we do!” Vegeta replies, the young king holding back a large, orange-gloved fist. You see a familiar-seeming green alien, the Ascended Super Saiayn King holding the fist back from a pair of downed Saiyans. So you take charge, focusing your ki into an Energy Javelin and tossing it at the being’s chest. It has a shield, like the smaller robots do, but your attack easily pierces through and slams into it’s chest. A moment later your attack explodes, destroying the being’s entire torso. The colossal warrior turns to smoke, but slowly begins reforming. “We can’t stop these bastards! The only ones able to put them down for good are Raven, and your two kids Caulifla and Chilli. We can’t keep this up!”

“Well, I figured out where it’s coming from.” you say, describing the Destron Gas machines you’d found. “We take them out, and then they can burn away the remaining gas.”
“Damn, well it’s something.” he says, as the colossal fighter finished reforming. “How do we take them out?”
“They’re shielded.” you say, firing another Energy Javelin. Your attack again dissipates the giant’s form, turning back to him. But now you’re not alone, you seeing one of Raven’s portals appearing. But it’s far from usual, the portal more than dozens of yards tall. The hell?
“Now, onward to victory!” Freeza calls out, the emperor stepping through. But he doesn’t step through alone. One-by-one, several familiar large humanoid machines step through. Tekkedan, and more importantly Freeza, are here!
cont
>>
>>3938025
“FREEZA!” you and Vegeta shout excitedly, Freeza smirking at you.
“Well well, back already I see.” he says to you, then turning to the king. “I bring reinforcements, King Vegeta.
“Alright Mika, let’s go!” Akihiro’s voice shouts out over your scouter.
“Yeah.” the young man replies, the brown and white armored robots charging the reformed Slug. You put a hand to your scouter, opening your comms to them.
“Be careful, they’re smoke.” you say on the open channel. “They’ll keep reforming until the smoke is burned away. Fire’s the only thing that’s effective.”
“Got it!” Akihiro shouts, his suit swinging a massive axe into the green alien’s neck, decapitating it. But you turn from the youngsters’ attack, turning back to the portal as the last of the suits come through, and now tanks are rolling out.
“Where’s the smoke coming from?” Orga, Tekkadan’s leader asks. You describe the smoke generators, the red, spherical machines and their energy shields. “Alright. Everyone, spread out and hunt those smoke machines down. And don’t open your airlocks, breathing this stuff in will put you out of commission. Now, let’s show the universe how Tekkadan fights!”

“Yes!” “Sir!” “Yeah!” more than three dozen voices shout, confirming their leader’s orders. As they shout the tanks all begin rolling out, spreading across New Salda.
“Sorry for the delay, last minute preparations always slow everything down.” Freeza says casually. “So, what’s the plan? Heading back up there, or do you need a break already?”
“Not yet.” you reply confidently, popping your knuckles. “I’m-“

“-not done. Let’s get up there and end this!”
“I couldn’t have said it better myself.” he replies, Vegeta looking to you uncertainly.
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” he asks, the king looking worse for wear.
“With the two of us, we can handle it.” you say, leaping into sky as you telepathically finish talking with the King. “Shouldn’t take us very long. Keep everyone safe Vegeta.”
“I will.” he replies, ending the telepathic communication as you and Freeza blast out of New Salda’s atmosphere, Once more you fly through the cold void of space, telepathically giving Freeza a heads up about the incoming.

“Watch yourself, they have some beam defenses that activate once we get close.” you think to him. “They’re not hard to dodge, once you know they’re coming. But the real threat will be the ghost warriors.”
“Ghost warriors?” he asks you, curiously as the beams once more fire at you. But knowing they’re coming, you and Freeza are able to dodge the attacks without them even slowing your charge. “You mean like that Namekian Vegeta was fighting when I arrived?”
“Exactly.” you reply, dodging the beams as you both begin entering the Dark Planet’s atmosphere. “Only fire really destroys the Destron Gas, and breathing too much in messes with your ki control. We need to end this as quickly as possible.”

“So what’s your plan then?” Freeza asks you, you both touching down on the planet’s surface. “Do you have some way to burn this gas away? Or are we just destroying the entire planet and being done with it?”
“We-“ you start, before you’re interrupted by an all-too-familiar figure materializing.
“Back again so soon?” Nefarious taunts. “Had to go give yourself a-“
“Quiet.” Freeza says, sounding annoyed as he fires a Death Beam through Nefarious’s head. Your friend’s attack dissipates the mad Grey, but not for very long. Freeza watches as he reforms his body, “Tsk”ing in annoyance. “Well, you make for good target practice, I’ll give you that much.”

“RRRRAAAAAAA!!!” the young green-aura’d man roars, reappearing and slamming a massive fist into the side of your head. The attack catches you by complete surprise, sending you flying. Before you can recover, the Berserk man dashes to you, continuing the assault. After taking that surprise hit your bells are thoroughly rung, you unable to defend yourself in time as heavy blow after heavy blow crashes into you.
“Karn!” you faintly hear Freeza shout, but for whatever reason he can’t come to you. You take more than two dozen powerful hits before you’re sent crashing down to the ground by a mighty two-handed axe-handle.
cont

“What the hell?” you mutter, trying to gather your senses. The surprise hit got you good, leaving you in a pretty bad spot. You can’t see Freeza from where you are, and the surprise attack caused you to drop your sword somewhere. Despite getting knocked around, you still have the good sense to move out of the way. Flipping backwards, you narrowly dodge a powerful two-foot stomp from the out-of-control Berserker. But he isn’t the only one attacking you, upon hearing the rattle of a chain you leap high into the air. You moved not a moment too soon, as a chain with a spear tip flies through where you just were.

“Die you bastard!” the chain-wielding blonde man shouts angrily, whipping the chain around and up after you. But without surprise on his side, you’re easily able to catch his chain. But as you grab it, the links turning to smoke in your hand. Wait, even their weapons aren’t real?
“GRRAAAAAA!!” the Berserker shouts, launching himself up after you. He’s fast, faster than you can escape from. But that doesn’t mean he can beat you like that. Snarling incoherently, he slams a mighty fist into your crossed guard. Taking the momentum from his attack, you allowing his attack to send you flying backwards. Uncrossing your arms you focus, once more summoning your mighty Stand, Dragon Force.

“GRRRROOOAAAAAAAR!!” Dragon Force Bellows, it appearing in it’s huge muscular form around you. The out-of-control copy Berserker isn’t phased, still mindlessly charging at you. But with the distance he’d made between you, he stands no chance now. Focusing your ki, Dragon Force bellows, unleashing a massive blast of superheated flames. The Berserker vanishes inside your fires, burning even the smoke away. The blonde man tries to hit you with his chain, but they also burn. Your Stand sprays fire everywhere, obliterating the pair of vengeful phantoms and Destron Gas.
“Freeza, I’m on my way!” you think, your Stand continuing to unleash fire as you rush towards your ally. You burn away a large swath of the lethal gas as you make you way towards Freeza, but there’s a problem. Using your Stand in this way, and throwing out as much power as you are, you feel your strength starting to noticeably dip. But you can’t stop now, you have to burn this deadly gas away to nothing. You quickly approach Freeza, your friend battling the Arbiter and several other phantoms when there is a sudden roar from above you.

“SKREEEONGK!!”
cont
>>
>>3938397
Looking up, you see the massive form of Dunn’s massive lizard god dropping down towards you. But before it can reach you, you simply turn your Fire Breath upwards. The creature continues to roar, dropping through the flames and aiming a massive punch for your Stand’s head. You have only a moment, ignoring the shock of your attack not working and leaning back. The lizard’s massive fist narrowly misses Dragon Force’s head, and you inside it, and instead smashes into the ground. Taking advantage of the opening you slam Dragon Force’s large fist into the lizard’s side, sending it flying.

“Freeza, look out!” you warn him telepathically, your friend narrowly dashing out of the giant lizard’s way. It crashes into the dozen or so phantoms Freeza had been fighting, it turning them all to smoke. But surprisingly the giant lizard doesn’t, even when you soak it and the Destron Gas that was the Arbiter and the other fighters in your fire. “What the hell?”
“Nice job, Karn.” Freeza replies, your friend flying over and standing on your Stand’s large right shoulder. The giant lizard rises again, eyes burning with hatred and ignoring the fires. “But this one seems to be different. Best be on guard.”

“SKREEEOONGK!!” it bellows again in challenge. You still can’t sense anything from it, the creature presumably made of the same Destron Gas as the others. But why your fires don’t seem to burn it is beyond you. Coughing, you realize that while your Stand has been active, you’d lost the focus needed for Hamon breathing that’d let you purge the gas from your own body. But as the lizard god roars, taking two stomping steps forward, you realize that you’ll have to so something about this beast first.

But what do you do?
>Keep up your Fire Breath, you’ll burn it down eventually

“Freeza, I need a minute.” you say telepathically, coughing into your hand. Dragon Force mirrors you, Freeza nodding once in understanding.
“Of course.” Freeza says, his pink aura flaring up around him as he blasts off your Stand’s shoulder. “I’ll handle this one! Come, face the mighty Lord Freeza!”
“SKREEEOONGK!” the lizard roars, Freeza dashing to it and slamming a hard punch into it’s jaw. But you can’t focus on them now, you have to fix your breathing. Banishing Dragon Force, you close your eyes and exhale. Focusing on your lungs, you breathe out every bit of air in your body. But just as you prepare to breathe in, your instincts suddenly warn you that you’re in danger! You have to move! Opening your eyes, you dash straight backwards. As you do, you see the Arbiter dropping down, slashing you from shoulder to hip with both of his Energy Swords. The Arbiter’s blades cut deep, slicing easily through your armor and muscle both.

“Dammit!” you hiss, forced to abandon trying to refocus your Hamon as the Arbiter continuing to chase you with his swords. He follows up the slashes with twin stabs, both blades aimed square at your chest. Leaning back you narrowly dodge this attack as well, the blades only shallowly cutting into your armor. But you see an opening, kicking up with your right knee for the Sangheili phantom’s gut. But he blocks your kick with his own leg, dropping both blades down at your head. With nowhere to move you’re forced to block, focusing your ki into your Ki Body technique around your left arm. It mitigates the damage from the Arbiter’s blades, but not completely. Both swords bite into your left arm, causing you to wince. But with the Arbiter now wide open you take full advantage, swinging a powerful right uppercut up through his chest and into his head. “RRRAAAAA!!”

You’d hit him hard enough that the Arbiter returned to smoke, giving you a momentary reprieve from his swords. But that doesn’t mean you can rest, as suddenly a wave of magical energy slams into your back.

“Gyaaaah?!” you shout in surprise, blasted through the smoke cloud that was the Arbiter and sent flying. After several seconds you manage to roll off the blast, your upper body’s armor falling off from the damage it sustained. As it shatters you turn, and that the Arbiter has reformed and is standing between you and an elderly blue alien.
“It’s all your fault!” the wizened creature accuses, pointing his cane as you try and catch your breath. It’s getting harder to breathe, you need to find a moment’s reprieve soon. “Because of you, my entire planet was destroyed! The people I was charged with protecting all perished, and it’s your fault! You must die!”
cont
>>
>>3938590
“So destroying my world will make it all better?” you ask, flaring your green ki up around you. From somewhere behind you there’s an explosion, doubtlessly from Freeza’s battle. You need to figure something out, and quickly. “If you think you can stop me, bring it on! I won’t lose!!”

Roaring, you flare your aura up higher and higher, knocking the smoke phantoms back and away from you. You just hope it’s enough, nearly-closing your eyes and exhaling all the air in your body once more. But as you try to inhale, the Arbiter closes the distance.

“Not this time!” he shouts, swinging with his left blade for your neck. You flip backwards, the blade narrowly missing you, but he’s not done. Following up with his left, he swings down with his right and you can’t evade. So you don’t even try, instead reaching out and catching his right forearm with your left hand. “What?”
“No more.” you reply, catching his left forearm with your right. “This ends now! RRRRAAAAAAA!!!”

Focusing your ki, which is much more difficult than usual, you unleash a powerful Explosive Wave. It obliterates the Arbiter, his smoky form vanishing in the face of your raw power. You’re left panting, trying to catch your breath when suddenly a dark mass of energy appears before you.

“Die, Saiyan!” the elderly wizard shouts. “Shadow Ball!”
“Shit!” you think, the large black projectile headed right towards you. Focusing your ki, you send a large Ki Bomb at his attack. The two spheres slam into each other, exploding with a massive blast. The shockwaves blast you back and down, sending you to crash feet-first to the planet’s surface. “I need to stop this guy, and quick!”

But what do you do?

“But first thing’s first, I have to fix my breathing.” you think, when suddenly the ground beneath your feet rumbles ominously. Without hesitation you leap into the air, the ground where you were standing turning into an earthen fist and slamming shut.
“You must perish!” the elder wizard shouts, firing an odd-looking beam of spiraling blue energy at you. Moving clockwise you dodge the attack, seeing the beam striking the earthen fist and freezing it solid. If that attack hits you, you’re in trouble! Looking back, you see he now has eight or so balls of light blue energy floating around his head in a half-circle. His cane glows with the same blue energy, pointing it at you and screaming. “Soul Stream!”

A massive beam of blue-white light shoots from the end of the cane, you dashing backwards and dodging the enormous attack. He tries to follow you, the beam cutting up the ground as you dash backwards. He can’t keep up with you, giving you the opportunity you need. Dashing backwards you exhale, once more emptying your lungs of the Destron Gas. But this time you’re able to breathe in, Hamon surging once more. With a controlled exhale you breathe out the Destron Gas, suddenly feeling much, much stronger. Now, you can go on the attack!

“Here goes.” you mutter, no longer fleeing but instead dashing towards the hate phantom. Focusing your ki, it once more flowing freely through your body, you create your Barrier around as you charge. “Now it’s my turn!”
“Die! Die die die!” he shouts furiously, you charging effortlessly through his attack. He ends the beam as you get close, sending the orbs after you just before he creates his own barrier. Your shield stops his smaller attacks, you then dropping it as you pull your right fist back.
“Hraa!” you shout, punching his shield, The wizard’s barrier shatters, staggering him. But you don’t give him a moment to recover, partially summoning your Stand again. It’s large head appears around you, mouth opening and bellowing fire. The wizard is obliterated completely, your Stand’s flames burning the smoke away to nothing. “Haaaaaaah. That’s better.”

“SHAAAAAA!!” Freeza shouts, your friend suddenly blown away past you.
“Huh?” you say, looking to Freeza then the direction he was blasted back away from. You see what appears to be a humanoid in a cloud of the Destron Gas, the figure sweeping it aside and causing your jaw to drop. That’s impossible!

The figure before you is a muscular, well-built Saiyan wearing a familiar suit of green armor. But what’s more astonishing is this Saiyan is wearing your face! Is, is that you?

“All Saiyans must die.” the other you says, you feeling his ki surging upwards. Wait, this isn’t a phantom! “HAAAA!!”

Your clone tosses an Energy Javelin right at you, forcing you to dodge aside or be impaled. The javelin sails harmlessly past, you turning fully towards your clone.

“Who are you?” you shout, taking your fighting stance. “What are you doing here?”
“All Saiyans must die.” he replies, ki flaring as your copy’s ki surges higher and higher. You watch on, awestruck, as his body rapidly expands outwards. His hair and aura change to green, pupils disappearing and replica armor shattering as he goes Berserker! “Perish!”

“Well, I do talk better with my fists.” you shout, flaring your own aura up and meeting your double’s charge head-on. “GRRAAAAAA!!”
“Rrroooaaaaar!!” he roars as well, you both slamming your right fists into each other. The shockwave is massive, actually knocking the both of you back. You focus on keeping your breathing steady, dashing back in and crashing against each other over and over again. Each time your fists slam together, the resulting shockwave blasts even your mighty forms back. But more importantly, your attacks blast the Destron Gas away from you both. Perfect.

Charging towards you again, you can tell your clone is going for a right. So you copy him, right up until he swings. As his right fist closes in, you knock his attack aside with your left forearm. With his guard now opened, you slam your right fist into the left side of his jaw. Your blow staggers him, but before you can follow up he swings his left for your head. Leaning back, his fist narrowly misses you, leaving his left side wide open. You take full advantage, slamming your fists into his ribs in a quick one-two. Roaring in pain your clone spins, trying to catch you with a backfist. But you block his attack with your forearm, punching hard with your left fist into his exposed ribs. Once, twice you strike, but before you can land the third he roars.

“RRRRAAAAAAA!!” your clone shouts, unleashing an Explosive Wave. His sudden burst of energy blasts you back, putting distance between the two of you. “You won’t beat me.”
“That’s my line!” you say, refocusing your breathing with a deep sigh. “Why the hell do you work for that bastard? He’s trying to kill our people, to kill us all!”
“All Saiyans must die!” he shouts, power surging even higher. But something’s wrong, red lightning beginning to dance around his aura. His strength begins feeling just wrong, the evil clone dashing in again. Before you can react he’s already closed the distance, slamming his fist square into your face. “Starting with you!”
“Gah!” you cry out, caught completely by surprise by the sudden burst of speed. You’re sent flying, crashing into something midair.
“Oof! Hey Karn, watch where you’re going!” Freeza shouts, you seeing you’d crashed into your friend. But you have no time to say anything, your clone near-instantly closing the distance once more and smashing the both of you to the ground. “Gyah! Dammit, what’s going on here?!”

“Evil clone, strange powerup.” you reply, the both of you rising up to your feet as your clone begins gathering it’s power. Strength surges through it, a power that that somehow feels familiar but you just can’t quite place it. “And somehow, it just keeps getting stronger.”

“All Saiyans must die!” he roars, gathering a massive amount of ki overhead. His strength continues to swell, higher and higher, when you suddenly recognize what’s happening. The back of your right hand begins burning, you looking down and seeing Towa’s seal has begin glowing bright. This can only mean one thing.
“Damn, time interference now?” Freeza asks, you looking over and surprisingly seeing his hand has a seal identical to yours. “Hmph. Of course it happens now. What do you say, Karn? Shall we show whoever’s interfering the true depths of our power?”

“Alright, asshole. I don’t know where you came from, or who’s backing you up, but this ends.” you say, and release the demonic seal. “Now.”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=3Ss6F7O4v4M

“Grroooaaar!!” you roar, as your body fills with the demonic energy. Your body changes, skin darkening as the evil energy suffuses you. Your strength soars, and along with that so too does your perception of the world. You can sense the source of the power nearby, but you don’t have time to focus on that. After all, you’re standing right before you. Time to take this battle up-huh? “Meloka?”
“I was wondering what was going on up here.” she says, your wife suddenly appearing and taking her fingertips away from her forehead. You see she’s arrived ready for battle, the long golden mane of Super Saiyan 3 crackling with barely-restrained power. “Evil clone?”
“Evil clone.” you reply, pointing off to your right with your thumb. “Enemy Towa’s that way.”
“I’ll handle her, you take care of that monster.” she says, unleashing her own demonic seal and blasting off. As she flies off, she speaks telepathically to you. “If you lose to a cheap copy, I’ll never let you live that down, got it?”

“Yeah, I won’t lose.” you tell her, then focus on your foe. “Alright, I’m not holding back! Here goes!”
“GWROOOOAAAAAR!!” your clone bellows, mindlessly charging you. Focusing on your Djem So technique, you lean a bit to your right, left arm deflecting his attack as your right crashes into his gut. “GUH!”
“HAAAAAAA!!” you roar, following up your attack with a powerful straight left. Your punch slams into his face, staggering the brute. With his guard now down, you take full advantage of the opening, clasping your hands together and driving your left elbow straight into his nose.

CRUNCH

“Gryaaaaah!” your clone cries out in pain, reeling from the hit, but you don’t give him even a moment to recover. You launch into a vicious barrage of attacks, your fists, elbows, and legs crashing into him over and over again. Each blow staggers your clone, and after a vicious knee to the gut he begins coughing blood. But you show no mercy, holding your hands together and slamming your fists together onto the back of his head and send him crashing down to the ground. He remains still for a moment, then two, but after the third begins pushing himself back to his feet. He looks up to, then past you, eyes going wide as he sees something behind you. But as you watch, his eyes begin glowing an omnious red as his body begins bulking out even further, face stretching and changing. Suddenly you realize what’s going on, the monstrous clone growing larger and larger as fur begins sprouting out of his body. This can’t end well.

This clone does not have our soul. If it even has a soul of its own is dubious, but that’s a matter for the Kais. What I’m actually trying to get at here is that the clone might not be a stand user, which would leave us a good opening to mess him up.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=JjoCAn23AaA

“GUUUUROOOOOAAAAAR!!” your clone roars, finishing his transformation into the unbelievably-powerful Emerald Oozaru! You remember speaking with Towa about the transformation after she’d finished fixing your heart, and how dangerous it would be to do. But with whatever that other Towa is doing to him, it seems he’s not exploding. At least, not yet. But his power is in another league, you feeling a slight shake in your hands. Looking down at them, you see that you’re trembling. This beast is on a whole other level, you can’t beat it. Even if you put everything into one all-out attack, you couldn’t stop it. What the hell do you do now?

“Hey, Karn, what’s going on up there?” a familiar voice asks you over the scouter, snapping your mind back to focus as you press the button for comms.
“Tatsu! Do you feel that?” you ask your old man.
“Yeah, everyone down here can feel it.” he says, which is worrisome. He’s supposed to be at Dreadzone, watching your other kids. Why’s he here? “Things are looking bad down here Karn, everyone who’s been fighting is getting worn down. That gas is taking a toll on the warriors as well, most are about to fall over. If you don’t take that monster down, morale’s gonna crumble. New Salda will fall.”

His words echo in your mind, the roaring of the Emerald Oozaru a distant, background noise as it really sinks in. It’s do or die: not just for you, but for everyone. The fate of your people, of your family and world all rest on you being able to beat this thing. But, can you?

“I know I’m asking too much of you, Karn.” Tatsu says into your ear, sounding sad. “But that’s because you’re the only one who can do it. Time and time again, you’ve been all that’s stood between us and extinction. You’re the hero of the Saiyans, Karn. If you can’t do this, no one can. I believe in you boy, we all do.”
“Y-..... You can count on me.” you reply, clenching your fists. He’s right, you can do this! You’ve fought overwhelming odds time and time again, and this is no different! “I WON’T LET YOU DOWN!!”
“GUUUUURRROOOOOOAAAAAR!!” the Emerald Oozaru bellows in challenge, gaze focused squarely on you. You can do this!

But how?
>Super Ki Blade and attack, aim for the tail
>Let him ‘eat’ you then Red Dawn, destroy him from within
>Find your sword, you may need it’s energy enhancement help to cut through that beast’s tail
>Evade and lead it towards Freeza, his Golden form may be the only power readily available to actually stop this thing
>Dragon Force, try and beat it down with your Stand’s power
>Turn and look back at whatever it used to transform, go Emerald Oozaru yourself

You don’t have to overcome this beast in a contest of power. All you have to do it cut it’s tail off, then he’ll revert back to ‘normal’, allowing you to take him down. But at the sheer difference in power, you doubt you’ll be able to cut it off with only your own power. You need something more, something like... your sword! With it’s ki enhancement, you’ll be able to slice through that tail with no problem. But there’s only one problem: you have to find it. You’d dropped it somewhere earlier while fighting, and can’t remember exactly where. So you flare your aura up, crouching and preparing to dash.

“RRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” it roars, firing a beam of destructive energy down at you. But you don’t even try to stop it, instead dashing quick to the left. You dodge the massive beam, turning your attention from the beast and scanning the ground. You fly swiftly across the ground, searching for your ancient blade. After several moments he stops the beam, dashing at you and trying to slam his giant fist down on you. “GWROOAAR!!”

“Shit!” you shout, narrowly dodging the enormous fist. But he hits the ground with such force that you’re blown away, the shockwave sending you tumbling across the ground until you slide to a stop. Rising to your feet, you see a glimmer of metal to your right. Looking over, you see the ancient Wolf Knight blade is sticking point-first out of the ground. Perfect.
“RRRAAAAAA!!” the Emerald Oozaru roars, firing another massive beam. You put everything into dashing, dodging the beam and rushing for your sword. Flying past it, you reach down with your right hand and grasp your blade’s handle, your speed helping you pull it free from the ground.
“Alright, my turn!” you shout, flooding your blade with ki. As you do, the weapon suddenly grows much heavier, you seeing it’s once more grown to match your Berserker form’s size. Perfect, now all you need to do is get close. Which is easier said than done, you still flying away from the colossal beam of energy. Time to turn this fight around! Instead of maintaining distance, you turn, dashing more towards the massive creature. It sees you changing tactics and does the same, ending the beam.

“GRRRRAAAAAA!!” it roars, charging at you and stomping down with it’s left foot. You dash to your left, dodging the impact but still getting blown away by the shockwaves. Backflipping, you stab your sword into the ground to slow yourself, but pull it free and leap to your right to dodge another stomp. Blown back once more, you flip and land on your feet, wasting no time and flying up into the air. Now you just need to get behind the Emerald Oozaru to take his tail, and end this fight!

>>3939894
“RAAA!” it shouts, swinging with a massive left fist at you. Clutching your sword with both hands, you spin counterclockwise around the giant fist then dash towards it’s head. It again roars, firing another powerful beam of energy from it’s mouth. You again dodge, narrowly dashing around the outside edge of the blast and getting behind the beast. Perfect! Focusing your ki through your sword, you hold it overhead and prepare to fire a Death Slash through the ancient weapon. But before you can, you drop to the ground, narrowly dodging an enormous spinning left backfist. “Gwroar!”

“Shit, too close!” you think, feet hitting the ground. An instant later you dash between it’s legs, skidding to a stop and spinning to face it’s tail once more. You focus your ki once more, hefting your faintly-glowing blade overhead. It’s now or never, time to end this! “GRRAAAAAAA!!”

As you roar, you leap and swing down, firing an enormous Death Slash down. The blade of energy bites deep, your clone roaring in pain and outrage. But your attack does the job, the beast’s massive tail dropping down to the ground with a boom. You watch as his body immediately begins shrinking, swiftly reverting back to a normal Berserker Saiyan. Your clone drops down to all fours, and despite still being slightly more powerful than you, he seems to be at his limit. Time to end this.

But what do you do?
>Leave him, he’s done. Rejoin Meloka and help her take down the enemy Towa
>Leave him and rejoin Freeza, defeat Hatchiyack
>End him with the sword, decapitate him in one strike

Seeing your own body laying there, you feel a brief moment of overwhelming empathy. Seeing yourself laying there, beaten and broken, you want to help him. But you know that man is not mentally there, mind programmed to destroying you. So all you can do for him is to put this poor creature out of his misery. So you focus yourself, once more summoning forth your mighty Stand Dragon Force. Now towering over your clone, you debate simply crushing him with a massive fist. But instead you decide to try something new, focusing your ki and firing a pair of beams from your Stand’s eyes. The two beams strike your copy, and begin sapping his energy.

“Guh, gryaah...” your clone mutters out, slowly reverting back into his base form as his power drops lower and lower. He drops face-first onto the ground, no longer able to even move his body. Your strength continues to rise, climbing slower and slower until you can no longer feel it rising any more. Focusing your ki sense, you can no longer sense anything from your clone. You’d sapped his strength away until there was nothing left, taking your clone’s power as your own. Ending your attack you banish your Stand, expecting the stolen power to fade away as it’d done before. But this time the power doesn’t disappear, remaining within you. It seems now that if you kill whoever you’d taken the strength from before banishing your Stand, the borrowed power has no one to return to.

“Sorry.” you say to your clone, sighing out and turning away from him. Your body swells with power, both normal and demonic, but what do you do now? Focusing on enhancing your ki sense’s range, you feel Meloka’s demonic-enhanced ki far off to your left battling two powerful foes who both radiate demonic energy. But you also sense Freeza, on the opposite side of the planet from Meloka. You can’t sense him battling anyone, but his ki feels greatly reduced as if he’s fighting something and losing. You now have a choice before you, who will you help?

You trust Meloka to hold her own, and if she needed your help she would’ve already asked for it. But Freeza, on the other hand, is too proud to ask anyone for help. And from what you can feel, his ki is clearly lagging. Whatever he’s up against, his fight isn’t going well. So you drop the powerup Towa’d granted you, re-sealing it and reverting to your normal Berserker form. Switching your sword to your left hand while your right hand goes to your forehead, you focus on Freeza’s ki to the exclusion of all else, and use your Instant Transmission. One moment you’re standing beside your clone’s corpse, the next you are beside a bloody, panting Freeza.

“There you are, Saiyan!” the Arbiter shouts, dashing at you with blades drawn. He tries for an X-slash, you blocking his swords with your own Wolf Knight blade. Holding it in both hands, his blades crash into yours. But the ancient weapon holds firm, you shoving the alien back. “Grr, you must die!”
“You first.” Freeza replies, firing a Death Beam at the Arbiter’s head. He blocks it with his left-handed sword, deflecting it off somewhere to your right. “Tch! Stubborn bastard!”
“I’ve had enough of you!” you shout, gathering your ki into your right hand then firing it as a powerful Ki Wave. “Begone!”
“I’ll kill yo-!” the Arbiter roars, your attack destroying him and turning him to smoke. But instead of reforming, the black smoke is sucked back towards a large pile of spheres.
“Huh?” you ask out loud, confused. “What’s going on?”

“I’ve been waiting for you, Saiyan.” an unfamiliar voice calls out. You see a blue figure floating and descending down in the room, you and Freeza both taking defensive stances. “Welcome, to the end of your race!”
“I grow weary of you people’s attempts at humor.” Freeza says irritatedly, firing another Death Beam. But his attack doesn’t connect, a green barrier springing up around him and blocking your friend’s shot. “And even moreso these annoying shields!”
“A small precaution against the mindless violence of your pet monkeys, great Lord Freeza.” the form says, you both hesitating. “Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr, Lychee, last of the Tuffles. My people were exterminated by the Saiyans, before we could use our technological superiority for your great empire. You have seen what my immortal soldiers can do first hand, allow me to offer you a deal: do not interfere in my vengeance. Allow me to exterminate these Saiyans, and I shall join you. My knowledge and warriors will be at your disposal, and you shall easily conquer the entire universe! What do you say, Lord Freeza? Will you let me join your empire, and destroy your enemies?”
cont
>>
>>3940245
“Now this is a rather interesting offer.” Freeza says, you turning towards him surprised. He can’t be serious, can he? “Abandon my most powerful allies, and leave them to die all so I can recruit the ghosts of those they’d already killed? Sorry, but I must decline.”
“Then you shall die along with them!” he roars, firing his shield forward as a large green ball right at Freeza. You step forward, catching the attack with one hand. “What?”
“Is this your best?” you ask, tossing the attack right back at him. This Dr. Lycher forms another barrier, the two spheres slam into each other, both shattering. Before Lychee can reform his shield you dash in, and with a two handed overhead swing bisect the Tuffle. “I was expecting more.”

Screaming incoherently, both halves of Lychee turn to smoke. His black cloud quickly gets absorbed by the large machine in the center of the room, it beginning to radiate with light. The entire castle begins shaking, the light growing brighter and brighter. You and Freeza both shield your eyes, the light lasting for several agonizing seconds. Then it begins fading, you finally coming face-to-face with the Tuffle’s ultimate weapon: Hatchiyack.

“So you’re finally ready to fight me yourself?” you ask, taking your Djem So stance. “Alright, let’s g-GYAAH!?”
“DIE.” it says, dashing up to you before you can even react, fist slamming into your gut and sending you flying. You’re sent crashing back-first into the far wall, Freeza turning as you’re blown away.
“Karn! I’ll-KYAAAA!”

But Freeza is blown away as well, Hatchiyack’s left swinging in a backfist and knocking Freeza flying into another wall. This Hatchiyack is somehow far more powerful than the one you’d fought in that one alternate Chaya’s timeline. This is it, the final battle is about to begin! You’re gonna have to pull out all the stops to beat this monster, and if you can’t: New Salda is doomed.

That sounds like a fuck up from the bottom up desu. King Yemma is supposed to judge souls, but he hasn't been getting any from the Saiyan Exterminations, so he should tell one of the Cardinal Kai about it.

They should go searching, and if they can't find said souls, and even more go missing, they should tell the Grand Kai, and if the Grand Kai can't find them, then it is Officially Shin's Problem now, that useless fuck up.

Somewhere in the Divine Bureaucracy, someone dropped the ball, and their about to learn what happens when a fuck up of this magnitude goes uncorrected.
>>
>>3942070
>>3942161
What this guy said.
There's been many, MANY years to actually find out that there's an issue going on with souls. From there, it's a matter of investigation and divine retribution against the cause.
Hatchiyak should have been dealt with a long time ago if the kais were even remotely good at their jobs.
>>
>>3942161
>>3942170
When you have hundreds of trillions of souls passing through every day, it’s hard to pay much attention to a dozen or so souls missing. King Yemma just dispatches a reaper to find the lost soul and bring it to the afterlife. Although there has been an uptick in reapers going missing while on missions lately...
>>
>>3942368
So you’re saying that not only have they failed to connect the very obvious dots (that being almost all the missing souls were killed by saiyans), but they have yet to respond adequately outside of sending a few reapers?

Is this your way of hinting at Yu Yu Hakusho characters being introduced soon? If so, my body is ready

>>3944171
I'd argue that Chronoa IS the most considerate of mortals and finding someone more competent would mean getting someone who'd be more willing to scrub a timeline outright rather than let mortals duke it out to save it when it goes too far.

Killing Zeno is the ultimate endgame anon.

As far as just raw power, and not counting her divine abilities, below Buuhan.
>>3944160
Her mastery of time itself is what makes her the most dangerous opponent.
>>3944171
No. Despite being weaker than many beings, she can erase Zenos and their entire timelines rather easily.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 109 Epilogue-

AGE 748, NEW SALDA

“Become one with the crimson! EXPLOSION!” you roar, unleashing your single most powerful offensive spell. You pour your magic into the powerful spell, the massive blast obliterating the massive cloud of black smoke. You are Chilli: son of Karn and Meloka, brother of Chaya and Broly, Tatsu and Tomi, Caulifla, Maz and Kayle, and little Okira too, and currently the only Saiyan in existence who can use the power of creation, more commonly known as magic. You’ve been studying how to use this power under Raven, the current Guardian of New Salda. And while you’re nowhere near as skilled as she is, yet; your eventual goal is to surpass and one day defeat her. But to do that, you have to survive the war raging on today.

Robots made by that jerk Nefarious your dad killed have invaded New Salda. And if another robot invasion wasn’t bad enough, the machines are all spreading the deadly Destron Gas into the air. Fortunately it’s flammable, allowing you and several others to burn it away, but it presented a much bigger problem. Once there was enough of the gas in the air, it began turning into people that your dad and the others had killed! And although the ghosts can fight, they’re thankfully still flammable. But unless you or Raven are there to burn them away, the evil fighters just keep reforming again and again.

“Chaya, keep them off me!” Tanya shouts, backflipping under a barrage of shots from a Covenant rifle. “I can’t destroy those generations with this kinda pressure!”
“I’m -grr- trying!” your older sister shouts, flipping, twisting and spinning between more than a dozen different Sangheili’s energy swords. But you can’t focus on her fight, as more and more of the creatures rush towards you, seeing your fire as their biggest threat.
“Sunbeam!” you shout, unleashing a wide-angled beam of light and heat from your hands. The ray of burning light incinerates the approaching ghost warriors, the Destron Gas bursting into flames. Your ray travels dozens of yards before it begins to dissipate, burning the deadly gas away. “Tanya, move!”
“Now!” she shouts, disengaging her opponents and flying towards your sweeping ray of sunlight. Her foes follow, and just as she’s about to enter your attack she activates her own barrier. Her magical shield protects her from your power, but her pursuers aren’t so lucky. Your ray of light destroys them near-instantly, Tanya flying out of your attack then deactivating her shield. “Good one.”
“Thanks.” you reply, gathering a large fireball in your left hand then tossing it over towards Chaya. “Sis, block!”
>>
>>3944958
“Huh?” she asks, and before she can do anything else your fireball hits. It douses both her and the attacking aliens, quickly burning the smoke warriors to nothing. But your sister doesn’t burn long, blasting the flames off her with a quick Explosive Wave. “Hey! Be careful with that! Fire burns you know!”
“That’s the point.” you think to yourself, but instead of voicing that you reply far more civilly. “Sorry.”
“There!” Tanya shouts, firing one last shot. You hear the distant explosion of her powerful magic, knowing the last of the nearby gas generators has been destroyed. “That’s the last of them.”
“About time!” Chaya says, arms going behind her head casually. “I’m hungry! Let’s go- Eh?”

You feel it just as your older sister does, an enormous powerlevel appearing in the city. But it’s not another enemy, you recognize this power. He’s your dad’s boss, and friend; Freeza.

“Huh? What’s going on?” Tanya asks, looking between you both.
“It’s Freeza!” Chaya says excitedly. “If he’s here to fight with Daddy, there’s no way we’ll lose!”
“So Freeza has entered the battle himself, has he?” Tanya mutters, but you’re more curious about the other powerlevels he brought with him. You, and even your littler sister Caulifla are stronger than these people. Why would Freeza bring a bunch of weaklings along?
“Teacher Raven, what’s happening?” you ask her telepathically. “Who are those people with Freeza?”
“See for yourself.” she replies. “You remember that one ice scrying spell I’d taught you?”
“Of course.” you reply, quickly making a rectangular sheet of ice between your thumbs and first fingers and focusing on Raven. She had developed this far-seeing technique to teach you the basics of scrying, but you don’t have any real talent for it; this the one spell you can successfully pull off. Focusing on the ice within your hands, an image slowly comes into focus on the thin sheet. Your jaw drops, seeing something you’d only heard rumors about. “Hey you two, check this out!”

“Huh?” Chaya asks, the two flying around to peer over your shoulders. You hear them both gasp upon seeing the giant white robot, it wielding a giant weapon that’s part lance and part mace. It is followed out of the portal by several other giant robots, you able to see how tall they are by Freeza in his fourth form talking with your Dad nearby. “Woah! So cool!”
“And you’re sure those are on our side?” Tanya asks, you nodding affirmatively. “Well, it looks like today’s battle just got a whole lot easier then. With those machines and Lord Freeza here, we’ll- Wait, where are they going?”
>>
>>3944959
You don’t even need to look down at the screen, instead looking up towards the Dark Planet. You see two streaks, one green and one pink, flying straight towards the enemy.

“Looks like Daddy and Freeza are goin’ to go kick their teeth in.” Chaya says, very matter-of-factly as Tanya begins reloading her weapons. You remember being impressed by the gun with the built in chainsaw, it inspiring you to try and make a similar cutting technique. But that’s still months away from being ready, you gotta focus on what you can do. “So where do we go now?”
“Good question.” Tanya says, turning to you. “Well?”
“One moment.” you say, then telepathically reach out to the king. “Hey, Vegeta?”
“Chilli?” Vegeta replies. “Tell me you have some good news.”
“I’ve regrouped with Chaya and Tanya, and we’re all okay.” you tell him, feeling a wave of relief through the mental link. “And we destroyed all the nearby gas makers too.”
“Excellent.” he replies, then after another moment or two resumes talking. “I have several others who need your help. Bardock’s and Tatsu’s teams both are struggling, they can’t hold out for much longer. And Raven’s too busy here to step over, I’ll need your help. Are you still good to fight?”
“Of course!” you telepathically reply. “I’ve still got plenty of magic power!”
“Good, I’ll leave them to you.” he replies. “I’ll be sending some of Tekkadan’s robots to each group to help them hold out until your arrival, and Beetz will have their locations sent to your scouter.”

“Thanks!” you reply, ending the communication. And sure enough, a moment later your scouter pings, two different lights pointing to the northeast. “Leyas and Bardock’s teams are in trouble, we gotta go save them!”
“Search and rescue, huh?” Tanya asks, lifting up into the air. “I can get behind that.”
“Let’s go!” Chaya shouts, blasting off. Except she begins flying in the wrong direction. After several seconds she turns around, flying back to you all confused. “What?”
“They’re this way.” you say, pointing to the northeast.
“...I knew that.” she says, ears glowing red and blasting off. You and Tanya follow, quickly focusing in on the closest ki. It seems Bardock’s group is much closer than Leyas’, your group angling towards them. As you approach, the scene unfolds before you.
>>
>>3944960
“RRRAAAAAA!!” Super Saiyan Bardock roars, slamming his fist through a Sangheili’s chest then firing a wave of ki through it and destroying another three ghosts. Meanwhile Raditz and another two Saiyans are flying defensively around the rest of their fallen comrades, trying their best to keep the Destron Gas warriors at bay. You see four of the planet’s warrior constructs are also trying their best to defend them, but they look to be in bad shape. They’re all barely hanging together, it looks like you all arrived just in time.
“Alright Chaya, we’re up.” Tanya says, quickly taking charge of the battle. “We’re getting them out, and then it’s all you Chilli. Have one more of those Explosion spells left in you?”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=ERKnkHq-6XA

“Of course. Darkness, darker than dark and blacker than black.” you say, magical circles appearing around you and the fighters below you. Chaya and Tanya both immediately dash down, the small blonde shouting orders. “Let the hammer of eternity descend unto me!”
“You three, grab them!” Tanya shouts, quickly taking aim and destroying one of the nearby Destron Gas generators. “Bardock, we’re leaving!”
“I’m not done!” Bardock roars angrily, but upon turning and seeing his son and injured members evacuating, growls but quickly follows suit.
“We’re clear!” Tanya shouts, everyone flying past you. The Destron Gas and the warriors are all within your attack’s radius, time to end them.
“Burn to ashes within the crimson!” you shout, as your magical energy is finally ready to be unleashed. “EXPLOSION!!!”

BOOM

You unleash your power in the strongest magical attack you know, the ultimate attack spell: Explosion. The world goes white and vanishes within the sudden blast, your magical attack obliterating the entire area before you. The Destron Gas is completely burned away, destroying all the phantom fighters. Your magical energy reserves drop sharply once more, leaving you struggling to catch your breath. With as much as you’ve used already, you just might enough magic left for one last Explosion. But then you’ll be completely out of power, leaving you with no way to destroy the gas.

“Chilli, you need to take a break.” Tanya says to you flatly. “You’re coming up against your limits.”
“Not yet.” you reply, still trying to catch your breath. “I’m, not done.”
“If you push yourself too far, you’ll burn out before the battle is over.” she scolds, smacking you upside the head. “You have to pace yourself, idiot.”
“I don-“ you start, but freeze as you feel something. Something terrifying.

“What’s going on?” Tanya asks, looking around concerned. She knows when you all react like that you can feel something, and you do. From the Dark Planet you feel a terrifying surge of power, it like your dad but not. You look up, able to actually see a point of demonic light radiating from the invading world. Everyone who can sense ki nearby is looking up, everyone else following suit. “So, I take it that’s bad?”
“Daddy...” Chaya mutters, worriedly. You haven’t felt a power of this magnitude since you spent time with your sister from another timeline, you feeling yourself trembling in fear and worry.
“Wait, that light is Karn’s?” she asks, you shaking your head.
“That’s not my dad.” you say, clenching your fists to stop the shaking. “He’s fighting against that.”
“And if you all can feel it from here...” she mutters, realization dawning. “We have to get up there and help him! Come on, we have... to... Why aren’t you all moving?”

“Use your head, kid.” Bardock says, you all turning to him. “I’m one of the top five strongest Saiyans alive. And as strong as that thing is, I couldn’t put a dent in it.”
“But if everyone works together, we can-“ she starts, Bardock interrupting her.
“All die together.” he replies flatly. “Look, I want to help. But we’d only be in the way.”
“We gotta trust in Daddy.” Chaya says, you nodding along.
“But what if something happens?” she shouts, panicking. “If that monster kills Karn-“
“Then we’ll all die.” you say, still gazing up at the Dark Planet a moment longer before turning to Tanya. “But he won’t lose.”
“How can you be so certain?” she asks, you turning your gaze back to the sky. “If this thing is as powerful as you all say it is, how can Karn win?”

“Because he always does.” you say, smiling and speaking with complete confidence. “No matter how bad it gets, or how impossible it would be for anyone else, my dad will always find a way to win. That’s why he’s the best.”
“Chilli’s right.” you hear Chaya say beside you. “If my daddy can’t win against that thing, nobody can.”
“So that’s it then?” Tanya asks. “We just...do nothing then?”
“Yeah.” Chaya says, you nodding. “If Daddy can’t beat it, there’s nothing we can do.”
“Well, there’s still something we can do!” you say, flaring your golden Super Saiyan aura up. “We can still make the planet safe for him when he comes back.”
“Yeah!” Chaya shouts excitedly, doing the same. “Let’s go!”

>Karn then proceeds to steal all of the clone's energy and loaned demonic ki, permanently
That has to be one hell of a boost. It's a real lifehack, doubling your power by stealing your clone's lifeforce.
I only wonder if there's consequences attached to that at all. Demonic ki was mixed up into that, after all...
And whatever The Other Towa was doing to help him go Emerald Ape.

They’re good kids. And due to how they’ve been raised, and the experiences of their lives, they have an unshakable faith in their father. He will protect them.

Well, it isn’t permanent. Once you use up that stolen power, it’s gone for good.

That’s not saying you won’t have the opportunity to try it, but the results may be quite unexpected. This path was one you all chose quite some time ago, it’s far too late to turn back now. >>3945117
The tournament will go down quite differently than how it went in the original timeline(s). That’s going to be a bookkeeping nightmare on my end, as the other universes will actually be fighting and ringing out each other. Ny biggest problem was the “everyone line up to get taken out one-by-one by the 7th” path the show took.
>>3945123
Only ones that could have better teamwork going in would be the 11th, and possibly 3rd.
>>
>>3945123
What's our line up looking like rn? I'm thinking Karn, Freeza, Meloka, Bardok, Vageta, Broly, Guldo, Jojo, some mix of our other kids, and any number of reserve fighters we've befrended over the years. Numero Ubo (outside of Freeza) if he gets past a few more of his mental blocks and hides out in a star for a few days/months/years.
>>3945131
>The tournament will go down quite differently than how it went in the original timeline(s)
Good. The OG tournament was really poorly structured. I'm excited to see what you've got cooked up for it.
>>
>>3945131
If I were you I would just cut out half the universes altogether. There's only 3 worth remembering anyhow and it's just a fucking mess with so many extra fighters on the field..
>>
>>3945134
>The OG tournament was really poorly structured.
Understatement of the week right there. Other fighters will actually be DOING THINGS when not on-screen.
>>3945151
>If I were you I would just cut out half the universes altogether.
But that defeats the purpose.
>There's only 3 worth remembering anyhow and it's just a fucking mess with so many extra fighters on the field..
That’s the point though, it’s SUPPOSED to be a giant clusterfuck. And all the weaker fighters everywhere act as a hard limit for the stronger warriors like Jiren, They can’t unleash their true power, or they’d kill the weaker fighters accidentally.
>>
>>3945328
"No killing" In a tournament where you have several angels capable of revival, the god of gods Zeno, the Super Dragonballs, AND the threat of complete universal erasure upon failure just seems like an unnecessary addition. It unfairly limits people like Hit who have lethal fighting styles, and honestly it's pointless to keep them alive if they're just going to be erased anyways. Hell, they could probably set it up so that killed participants get automatically revived at the stands, they're a bunch of GODS and ANGELS man!
>>
>>3945336
Well, at least in the logic of GD's universe for the Quest, it seems to be so that the strongest 2-3 people don't just instantly curb-stomp the entire arena and fight eachother.
>>
>>3945336
>"No killing" In a tournament where you have several angels capable of revival, the god of gods Zeno, the Super Dragonballs, AND the threat of complete universal erasure upon failure just seems like an unnecessary addition
It’s to promote skill. Without that rule Cocotte could just make her dimension shield around U11, have Jiren toss it as high up as he can, then unleash his power immediately and obliterate the entire ring. Anyone who survived would be rung out, tournament over in less than 60 seconds. And that wouldn’t be fun for Zeno.
>>3945342
Yes. And I believe that’s why it was done in canon as well. Remember, the point is to entertain Zeno.

Counterpoint: make a rule against destroying the arena excessively. Altering it being fine, but outright destroying like 50% of it by shitting out ki not so much.
Lethal people get to be lethal (and thus not cucked), and assholes don’t destroy the fun by instantly ringing everyone out.
It’s just bad form to restrict lethal fighting styles like what meloka and hit have.
>>
>>3946033
The problem is that the goal is to entertain what is effectively a five year old DBZ fan. So what you want to do is have people punch each other a lot and shout attack names. Otherwise Hit would instantly win because he would stop time and punch Jiren inside of his skull and then pop hearts around the arena. The child brain of Zeno wouldn't get it and he'd throw a fit.
>>
>>3946092
I’ll be honest. I don’t think Hit could beat Jiren even if lethality was permitted.
>>
>>3946157
If Jiren decided he didn't want to instantly nuke the entire arena with his full power REEEEE shit and Hit stopped being a bitch and used literally every technique at his disposal as simultaneously as possible I think it'd work. But it really does hinge on Jiren not powering up right from the start. If Jiren is suppressed and Hit slaps him with that time lag shit then time-skips a punch into his heart he might be able to pull it off. Of course Jiren's BULGING MUSCLES might absorb enough impact on his chest to stop his heart from getting collapsed. Honestly Jiren just isn't fun.

>Hey guys, let's make a guy SO STRONG that literally NOTHING WORKS on him
>and then let's have the power of friendship beat him
At least OG Broly was cool as shit when they used the same fucking formula for him. Dumb, but cool.
>>
>>3946190
Personally, I don’t think Jiren WOULD instantly nuke the arena. He conserves as much strength as possible even when helping earlier could have aided his team-mates. I think Jiren might have relatively shitty stamina despite all his power (or perhaps because of it), and he wouldn’t risk being caught tapped out if he could help it. As we see, he waits until as many people are knocked out as possible before officially stepping up to the plate.
I can’t really see U11 in general using tactics drastically different from what they do in Canon, ultimately. Everyone else deals with small fry while Jiren whips it out for the biggest fish in the pond when said big fish are tired out.
>>
>>3946197
His stamina doesn't seem all too bad all things considered. Comparatively it is shit but that's just because all of the guys from U7 were all pretty much impossibly enduring. With 17 being literally indefatigable.

He would probably just sit around though, yeah. He'd get Hit and then decide that's enough. But it's always an option that he could go full Bikini Atoll if it meant winning and saving his universe. And that is a pretty substantial motivator when it is a valid option.
>>
>>3946215
It would be a gamble, ultimately. And I don’t know that he’d be willing to gamble on such a thing, even if he’s supremely confident in his own power. If there’s even a 1% chance that someone can endure his full power and not get ringed out, it’s a risky tactic.
>>
>>3946033
True, but he doesn’t have to go even that far. Remember, he rung out Maji Kayo with a half-assed punch’s shockwave.

>The problem is that the goal is to entertain what is effectively a five year old DBZ fan.
Yes. Got to remember, even during the tournament itself, rule of cool prevailed regarding Mafuba, Potara, etc.

>Honestly Jiren just isn't fun.
He’s just a wall to overcome. The largest wall we’d ever seen, but still a wall. He was able to counter Hit’s Time Skips without ever(as far as we know) fighting it himself, and the ranged attack that killed Goku was useless as well.
>>3946197
>He conserves as much strength as possible even when helping earlier could have aided his team-mates. I think Jiren might have relatively shitty stamina despite all his power (or perhaps because of it), and he wouldn’t risk being caught tapped out if he could help it.
Jiren is a staminalet, that’s for sure. But when you end almost every fight with one punch, you don’t build that fighting stamina.

>He would probably just sit around though, yeah. He'd get Hit and then decide that's enough
He would take down the strongest fighters he’s seen, once clown man gave him the okay. And do you really think Karn wouldn’t be number one on Jiren’s chopping block?

>Karn #1
I can honestly think of a few contenders for that. Such as:
>Fully Realized Ubo Prime
>Frieza (Beyond Golden)
>Mystic Chilli
>Broly (Legendary God)
>Ginyu (Zamasu's Body)

If you think Karn’s going to let his kids surpass him for long, you’ve got another thing coming. Your transformations are hard capped at Ascended Berserker for now, but once you break that limit...

And Karn's got old age coming, by the time of Super.
He's gonna look like Paragus before you know it.
>>
>>3946581
>Apex Chaya (Present)
>Tatsu and Tomi (Fused and Ascended)
>Caulifla (Ra Final Mode)
>Guldo (Super Extended Time Stop)
>>
>>3946592
>Potential-unlocked Jotaro (Star Requiem)
>Meloka with her children and husband in grave danger and she also smells a thot
>(??? Upgrade) Boros

You know, sometimes I wonder what dragonforce over heaven would do.

More like his dad.

Karn has made and sired some powerful allies, that’s for sure.

>Dumb, but cool.
He had a great personality to compensate for his admittedly simple gimmick.
Too bad that's undercut by his original motivation.

well, he's not evil, he's just a traumatized dumbdumb.
