Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The battle on and above New Salda raged on, Karn and Freeza taking the battle to the Dark Planet. Then Karn came face-to-face with an evil clone, who was being empowered by an enemy Towa. Meloka then arrived, heading off to battle the Time Breakers as you battled your copy, then the battle changed as your clone transformed into the powerful Emerald Oozaru. Taking up his Wolf Knight sword, Karn cut the clone’s tail off to return him to normal, then used his Stand’s Dragon’s Glare to drain every last ounce of ki remaining in his clone, killing it. Then faced with a choice, Karn chose to aid Freeza, defeating the Arbiter once more. And as we rejoin Karn, the machine Hatchiyack has just evolved.

“So you’re finally ready to fight me yourself?” you ask, Berserker form standing even with the machine. You then take your Djem So stance, preparing to fight. “Alright, let’s g-GYAAH!?”
“DIE.” it says, dashing up to you before you can react. The Tuffle war machine’s fist slams hard into your gut, sending you crashing back-first into the far wall. Freeza turns as you’re blown away, seemingly shocked.
“Karn! I’ll-KYAAAA!” he says, easily blown away as well. Hatchiyack’s left fist, swung in a backfist, knocked Freeza away into another wall. You’re surprised; this Hatchiyack is somehow far more powerful than the one you’d fought before in another timeline.
“Freeza! You okay?” you ask, but before you can finish Hatchiyack is right in front of you.
“I’m still alive, if that’s what you mean.” Freeza says, pulling himself free from the wall and clenching his fists. “And I’ve had enough playing around!”

“GRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, transforming into your Ascended Berserker form you’d spent nearly a year training to control. Lightning begins dancing along your rapidly-growing aura, as your powerlevel begin to spike. Your veins start bulging out as your own strength doubles, roaring out as you reach your maximum strength. “HRRAAAA!!”
“Behold, Hatchiyack!” Freeza taunts, taking his wide-armed stance as his own power begins surging. “The true terror that is Golden Freeza! SHHYAAAAAAA!!”

The entire fortress trembles once more as Freeza pulls out all the stops. His own aura and body change, as he unleashes his final form. His strength surges past your own, but instead of continuing to rise even higher, begins to level out.

“Freeza?” you ask, confused. Normally his Golden form’s power is much higher than this, has he taken that much damage?

“I was hoping to save unveiling this little surprise for our rematch, but it seems holding back any longer would be foolish.” he says, casually popping his neck as Hatchiyack looks between the two of you. The giant robot seems uncertain, as if trying to decide which of you is the greatest threat. “As you can no doubt tell, I have vastly improved my control over this form’s power output. Now I can do battle without the fear of running out of energy before I’ve won.”

“I’m impressed Lord Freeza.” you say, genuinely surprised. “Let’s put both ofour training to the test, in round two!”
“I couldn’t have said it better myself.” Freeza says, you both taking your stances and staring down Hatchiyack. “Now, monster, let us begin!”
“Perish.” Hatchiyack says, the machine crossing it’s arms before it’s chest. This is it, the ultimate battle for New Salda’s fate has finally begun!

“HRRAAAA!!” you roar, exploding off the ground towards the machine.
“SHYAAA!!” Freeza shouts, charging in as from the side as well. You both rush towards Hatchiyack, the machine focusing more on you. He rushes to meet your charge, faster than you were ready for and swings. You don’t have time to evade, crossing your arms and blocking the powerful blow.
“Perish.” Hatchiyack says, his attack sending you flying backwards. But as you’re blown back, Freeza attacks; Hatchiyack lifting his left arm and blocking your golden friend’s kick at his head. Freeza continues his attack, twisting and swinging his left heel down. But the robot moves just in time, leaning back to dodge the kick and following up with another hard right. Freeza blocks with his arms crossed but can’t fully stop Hatchiyack’s power, sent flying back a dozen or so feet before he can stop.
“Hmph. Not bad, tin can.” Freeza says smugly, retaking his wide-armed stance. “You’ve got quite the strong right hand. But let’s see how well you can handle this! “SHHHAAAA!!”

Freeza unleashes a barrage of Death Beams, unleashing a beam from each finger. But Hatchiyack crosses it’s arms, forming a green barrier around its body. Freeza’s beams all strike the shield, it absorbing them all. But as he does this, you see your opening.

“Hold him there Freeza!” you shout, dashing around the shield. When Hatchiyack had hit you and sent you flying, you’d dropped the ancient Wolf Knight sword. You’re not sure how to beat this thing, but you have a feeling it could help take it down. So you dash around the barrier, reaching down and grabbing the ancient greatsword. As your hand grabs the ancient handle your energy suffuses the blade, the sword growing to match your scale. “Alright, let’s do this!”
“Die.” Hatchiyack says, his shield dropping as he fires a massive green beam of energy. You watch, stunned, as the enormous beam seems to completely consumes your friend.
“Freeza!” you shout, worried. A few moments later the smoke clears, your friend still standing tall. “You okay?”
“It’ll take more than that to defeat me.” Freeza says smugly, and for just a moment you see a flicker of a golden sphere around him. Your friend lifts his right arm, gathering his ki into a spinning, cutting disc. “Now die!”

As he tosses his attack you rush in as well, leaping up and holding the blade in both hands to bring it crashing down. But Hatchiyak doesn’t retreat, reaching out and catching Freeza’s blade with it’s bare right hand. Before you can marvel at that feat it spins, swinging Freeza’s blade at you. With a roar you swing down, your ancient sword smashing into Freeza’s attack. Your blade shatters Freeza’s attack, the blade cutting through it and smashing into Hatchiyack’s hand.

“Gotcha-huh?” you say confused, as Hatchiyack’s hand closes around your sword. “No way.”
“Die.” he says, pulling you closer and punching at your gut. You let go of your blade, backflipping under the fist. As you flip back, you kick the machine in the chin with your right foot. Your attack staggers him, Hatchiyack dropping your blade. Freeza rushes in and attacks the opening, kicking Hatchiyack in the side of the head with his right.
“Shaaa!” Freeza shouts, spinning and slamming his tail into Hatchiyack’s head as a follow-up. The second hit sends him down, knocking the machine off his feet and sending him crashing to the ground. But your friend doesn’t relent, following up with a two-foot stomp and smashing them both down into the ground. You reach over and grab your sword, dashing down the hole after them

“KYAAAAA!!” Freeza shouts, sent flying at you. Holding your blade with one hand, catching your friend. “Tch! Bastard, I’ll kill you!”
“All Saiyans must die.” Hatchiyack says, the machine crossing his arms. You both watch as his knuckle-gems begin glowing green, faintly illuminating the darkness.

“Hey, Freeza. Watch this.” you say, switching your greatsword fully into your right hand and focusing your ki into your left. After a moment your ki springs forth, forming your Super Ki Blade in your left hand. Taking a stance similar to Freeza’s, arms down and blade tips down past your feet, you stare down Hatchiyack. “Let’s see how you can handle this! HRRAAAAA!!”
“Perish.” Hatchiyack shouts, firing another absolutely massive ki wave towards you. You have only an instant to react, turning to the side and narrowly avoiding it. But as you dodge you charge in, weaving around as the machine tries to catch you in his wave. But you keep one step ahead of Hatchiyack, weaving around the massive green beam and closing the distance. As you close within a dozen feet the attack ends, crossing his arms before him.

“HRRRAAAAAA!!!” you roar, front flipping and swinging both swords down. Hatchiyack creates it’s barrier once more, both of your blades slamming down onto it. The shields holds for one moment, it slowly cracking under the pressure, then it shatters. With the weight behind your swings both blades crash down onto the form of the robot. Each sword slams into Hatchiyack’s arms, one crashing into each of the large gems on its forearms. The swords smash down with an unfamiliar ring from the foreign substance, both glowing brighter and brighter green before both gems break with an odd-sounding chime. a sudden explosion of directionless emerald energy bursting forth from the machine’s arms.

“GUYAAAAAA!!” you shout, the sudden explosion of ki catching you by surprise. Everything goes green, you unable to see anything for several seconds as your entire body is consumed. After several seconds the blast begins to fade away, the light dimming slowly. “What the hell?”

As the light fades, you turning back towards Hatchiyack, seeing the entire castle around you and Freeza has been obliterated. The machine looks down at his damaged arms, then begins roaring. The machine body’s line begins glowing with pure white light. Its body starts to grow, your jaw dropping as Hatchiyack grows larger and larger. You watch as t grows to larger than an Oozaru, it roaring angrily. The entire planet seems to shake as it roars, the sheer volume of it’s roar pushing you back.

“What the hell?” Freeza says, you both looking up at the creature’s head looming far above you. It grins maliciously, it releasing a rumbling chuckle. “Well, this just got much harder. Do you have a plan for this, Karn?”

“Sure.” Freeza replies, golden aura exploding out around him. “Just let me know before you attack.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll let you know before I attack.” you reply, Freeza exploding out towards Hatchiyack.

You back off, landing on top a nearby ruin and focusing your ki. You press your Super Ki Blade held in your left hand into your Wolf Knight sword in your right, the energy merging with the sword. The green ki is absorbed into the sword, it quickly lighting up with a faint blue light.

BOOM

Looking up, you see Hatchiyack reeling backwards from a large cloud of smoke, staggering backwards. You smirk, knowing Freeza will be able to hold his own while you can focus. You return your attention to the sword in your hands, it radiating with a soft blue light. You hold it with both hands before you, pouring more and more ki into it. But it’s not going to be enough, you’ll need even more power to stop this thing now. So you go through your techniques, seeing what could go well with this blade. You review your slashing techniques, seeing what could go well with it when you suddenly realize it. You have the perfect technique to augment your sword. Pulling it back, pointing the tip at Hatchiyack’s chest as Freeza flies around pummeling the giant machine over and over. Your friend is utilizing his speed to stay one step ahead of Hatchiyack, narrowly dodging the giant’s fists.

“Just another minute.” you tell Freeza telepathically, then focusing more onto your ki. You pour more and more ki into the sword, the blue glow radiating further and further out from the ancient blade. “I think this is gonna work.”
“Well take your time, Karn.” Freeza replies, dodging a giant uppercut and landing a solid kick in it’s left armpit that staggers the machine. “If you want to go on home, I can handle something this easy without you.”
“Oh yeah? Say that after you see this next move!” you reply, beginning to spin the energy around the blade. Faster and faster the energy turns, the light burning brighter and brighter as you pour everything into your blade. The sword burns bright with held power, energy radiating out from it in an unstoppable vortex. “It’s ready, get clear!”

You fly straight towards its chest, sword-point first as your ki spins out around you. And while your Piercing Fist MkII’s usual spiraling cone of shredding energy is impressive, channeling it through the Wolf Knight sword puts this attack on a whole other level. Your ki explodes out through it, you thrusting forward in an unstoppable piercing attack. Hatchiyack turns towards you, crossing it’s arms and activating it’s barrier to try and stop your attack.

“SAIYAN!!” it bellows, glowing green shield solidifying around itself. But your attack is unstoppable, punching straight through the barrier aa if it isn’t even there. It then punches through the machine’s crossed arms, the two massive limbs not even slowing you down. Your attack pierces through it’s limbs, slamming into the gem in it’s chest. The green gem shatters, you punching straight through it and tearing your way completely through Hatchiyack before you slow doen. “Gyaaaah!”

You hear Hatchiyack crying out in pain as you finally end your attack, you turning to see the massive machine clutching at the hole and dropping down to it’s knees.

“Looks. Like it. Worked.” you say panting. You poured a whole lot of your power into that attack, the ki amplified several times by the ancient blade. Freeza flies up beside you, admiring your handiwork.
“Most impressive Karn.” Freeza says, Hatchiyack collapsing and curling up around the massive injury. “Looks like this battle is o-hrmm?”
“Oh what now?” you ask, looking back down at the machine. Once more its lines begin glowing green for a moment, then Hatchiyack’s body begins to crack and shatter before your eyes. It seems like Hatchiyack has been defeated, but is it really over?

“Looks like you destroyed it.” Freeza says smugly, sighing out and reverting back to his normal fourth form. “I was honestly expecting more.”
“I don’t think it’s over.” you say, eyes narrowing. Something’s wrong here, your instincts warning you that there’s something more. So you don’t hesitate, once more conjuring your Stand, Dragon Force.

“GUROOOAAAAR!” Dragon Force bellows, your massive Stand appearing around you.
“Karn?” Freeza asks, you not waiting and unleashing a massive blast of flames. Your Stand’s fire rains down, burning away the crumbling remains of Hatchiyack. The flames quickly spread across the massive robot’s body, burning it away. You watch with narrowed eyes, thinking it can’t possibly be this easy. You spent almost an entire year preparing to face this monster, it can’t be over already. Can it? “Seeing you’ve not let your power go to your head is always reassuring, but are you sure this level of caution is warranted?”

“Well, it never hurts to be cautious, but-“ he says, but is interrupted as he sees something. Your attention immediately turns back to the fallen Hatchiyack, preparing for the worst. You see that it’s remains are nearly burned down, except for the large gem in it’s head. You notice that it’s begun to glow, your Stand’s flames somehow not burning it away. “What the hell?”
“What now?” you mutter, Hatchiyack’s body now gone except for the giant, smooth green stone. It continues to radiate with that same emerald light, you pulling back Dragon Force’s massive fist to smash it since your fire didn’t work when suddenly it cracks. You watch as while your flames die down the cracks continue to spread, nearly the entire gem’s surface getting covered until it finally shatters, revealing what was hidden away inside. “No way.”

“This has to be some sort of joke at this point.” Freeza mutters, you sharing the sentiment. Inside Hatchiyack’s head was ANOTHER Hatchiyack! But this one’s different, more heavily-armored and covered in more of those green gems. But your instincts are warning you to be wary, this one won’t be nearly as easy to take down. But Freeza’s clearly had enough, flashing back up to his Golden form and holding his hands over his head. Within seconds he has a massive sphere held overhead, ready to attack. “I’m done playing games! BEGO-!!”

But before Freeza can send his attack downwards, Hatchiyack has somehow closed the distance, slamming his fist into Freeza’s gut.

“Die.” Hatchiyack says, firing a point-blank blast of power from it’s fist into Freeza’s gut.
“Guyaaa!!” Freeza cries out, the emperor sent flying away. Without him there to hold it up, his attack drops, falling straight down to the planet. But you can’t watch it, as this new and improved Hatchiyack turns to you. The machine crosses its arms, all the gems radiating emerald energy. “Saiyan. Die!”

With only a split-second to act, you dash to its left at full speed. Hatchiyack’s overwhelming emerald beam fires right through your Stand’s head, you dodging it by mere inches. If that blast had hit you as you are, you have no doubts that would have killed you. Without another moment’s hesitation you banish your Stand, having that level of weakness before an attack that powerful is completely foolish.

“You just won’t quit, will you?” you ask, taking your Djem So fighting stance with the Wolf Knight sword. “How many times do I have to put you down!?”
“All Saiyans must perish.” Hatchiyack says, the machine once more crossing it’s arms. It’s gems begin once more radiating emerald light, you knowing that massive blast is once more coming. You have only moments, what will you do?

“This trick again?” you taunt, flaring your powerful aura up around you once more. “Don’t you have any other attacks?”
“Die.” this now-super Hatchiyack shouts, once more unleashing it’s massively powerful beam attack. But you’re ready, leaning aside as the beam rockets past. You then dash in, Hatchiyack trying to catch you with the beam. But you’re too swift. The Tuffle hate machine can’t catch you with it’s attack, you dashing in while flipping and spinning around Hatchiyack’s beam of death. Before it can get it’s guard up you’ve closed the distance, it can’t run away now!
“HRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, swinging down in a powerful overhead chop. It ends it’s beam, trying to dodge your sword by moving to it’s left. But it’s too late, your sword slamming into the inside of its right elbow. Your ancient blade bites deep, cutting into the machine’s arm and slicing it straight off.

“Gotcha!” you shout, your momentum carrying you well past the machine. You turn, seeing sparks dancing in the now-exposed insides. “Is that all you’ve got?”
“All Saiyans must die!” it bellows, gathering it’s power once more. But before it can unleash, Freeza steps in. You sense his power suddenly exploding overhead, you looking up and seeing he’s gathered a dark ball of ki.
“No, YOU will die!!” Freeza shouts, tossing the ball of ki down. Hatchiyack abandons gathering it’s power, reaching up with his one good hand and catching Freeza’s attack. “Tch!”

“Hold him there for me!” you shout, dashing in once more with your sword. Hatchiyack sees you coming over it’s shoulder, but with it’s one arm tied up holding Freeza’s attack back it can’t stop you. So you dash in, and with a powerful horizontal swing, cut through Hatchiyack’s other arm. “HAAAAA!!”
“NNNOOOOOO!!” Hatchiyack bellows, as with it’s arm severed Freeza’s attack crashes into the machine. The blast sends it towards the ground, you noticing something shocking: Freeza’s previous attack hadn’t yet exploded! And with this new attack Freeza sends Hatchiyack down into his other massive ball of ki, the two attacks clashing.
“Karn, move!” Freeza shouts, but before either of you can dash away the two attack explode. The blast is tremendous, the shockwaves blasting both you and Freeza away. The blast sends you tumbling, you barely able to hold onto your sword. But after several disorienting seconds the shockwaves end, you and Freeza looking towards the newly-made crater.

“Nice one, Lord Freeza.” you say, the two of you looking to the blast zone. “That was clever.”
“It was difficult to hold onto that attack when he sent me flying, but it seems it was worth it. But did it do the job?”

“Looks like I went just a touch too far.” Freeza says, as a pillar of lava explodes upwards from the crater. “This planet’s done, I’d say it’ll blow in no more than five minutes.”
“Five minutes, huh?” you ask, Freeza nodding. “Alright. Meloka’s fighting another Towa on the other side, let’s get her and-“
“No no no! This isn’t how this was supposed to go!” a voice says from behind and above you, both you and Freeza turning in surprise. The seal of the back of your hand begins burning, you seeing a purple-skinned, white-haired demon. “This fight can’t be over yet!”

“Another time traveler?” Freeza says, sounding bored. He lifts a purple finger and fires a Death Beam, the demon drawing a sword from his back and deflecting the attack towards the sky faster than you can see. Freeza seems shocked as well, ending the beam. “Who are you?”
“Forgive me, I haven’t introduced myself.” the demon says, sheathing his sword and taking a sarcastic bow. “I am Fu. And you are Freeza, and Karn.”
“What do you want?” you ask, getting a really bad feeling about this. Last time he interfered you were nearly killed, you don’t want a repeat performance.
“I was expecting a brutal, drawn-out beatdown!” Fu says, sounding just like one of your kids when they’re pouting. “Instead all I got was you two easily destroying the strongest opponent you’ll have for years! That’s so... Boring! I was expecting a show, and this was all I got?! Total letdown!”

“Forgive me for not putting on more of a show, I wasn’t aware I had an audience.” Freeza says, keeping his cool. “Perhaps next time let me know, and I’ll make it much more riveting. More back-and-forth, and-“
“Oh, there’s no need.” Fu says, adjusting his glasses with a finger and causing the lenses to reflect the light as he smirks. “I’ll still have my fun before this planet bites the big one.”
“What the hell does that mean?” you ask, Fu simply chuckling before vanishing into thin air. You have a terrible feeling about this.

“My wife’s still here, I can’t leave yet.” you say. “We’ll be right behind you.”
“Be careful Karn.” Freeza says, flaring his aura up as he prepares to fly back. “Don’t you dare get killed now.”
“I’m not dying today.” you say, saluting. Freeza nods, blasting off back towards New Salda. As he goes you focus on Meloka’s demonic-infused ki, blasting off towards her. It only takes you a few seconds to traverse halfway across the world, arriving at the scene of Meloka’s battle with the time breakers. But as you arrive, it quickly becomes clear to you that Meloka doesn’t need your help. Her opponent is trapped within a minefield of dozens upon dozens of red glowing spheres.

“DIE!!” Meloka shouts, her mines all exploding. You’re shocked as they all detonate at once, but instead of the usual blasts they send her shredding Ki Needles everywhere. Millions upon millions of the piercing spikes fly out in all directions, shredding the poor fighter trapped by your wife. Thankfully you’re far enough away that they fade before reaching you, you taking the opportunity to fly over.
“Meloka!” you call, your wife turning her gaze from her foe and seeing you. But instead of talking she fires more than two dozen of her needles at you, you barely dodging. “What the hell?!”
“Using my husband’s face?” she asks, glaring hatefully at you. “You’re despicable, monster. I’ll destroy you for good!”

“Wait, what?” you ask, your eyes widening in surprise as you see yourself appear behind Meloka. She sees your eyes widen, dashing to the side and turning to see what’s there. Her jaw drops as yours does, you both seeing double.
“Who’re you?” the double says, pointing at you with his sword. It looks identical to yours, you blinking several times. What the hell is this?
“Dammit, now this is a problem.” Meloka mutters, gathering her ki. “If either of you is the real Karn, I’m fighting a shapeshifter. This bastard’s slippery, stay on your toes.”
“I’ll take him down!” the imposter says, taking your Djem So stance with his duplicate blade. “I’ll prove he’s the fake!”

“You think you can beat me, with my own techniques?” you ask, taking your Djem So stance. Holding your blade overhead you glare at the imposter, tail twitching in anticipation. The double’s tail twitches as well, mirroring you every move. This copy’s pissing you off, you’ve had enough. “Meloka, stay back. I’ll take this bastard down, you find the Towa! HAAAA!!”

Launching yourself forward, you swing the ancient blade down in a powerful overhead chop. The copy swings his blade horizontally, the two metal blades clanging as they connect. Surprisingly, the creature matches your power, shifting into the Djem So’s outside deflection. Your eyes widen, this copy knows the Djem So! He deflects your blade past his body, swinging the sword around his back and aiming at your right shoulder. You twist, deflecting his blade as you back up. This keeps him from using the easy follow-up and cutting your ankles out from under you.

“So, you know my techniques, huh?” the copy says, you gritting your teeth in frustration.
“That’s MY technique.” you say through your teeth. “Bastard.”
“Don’t go pretending you aren’t a cheap fake.” the copy says, once more taking the Djem So stance. “I won’t let you near Meloka!”
“Motherfucker!” you roar, charging headlong at your double. But you aren’t charging forward mindlessly, the shouting trying to sell your fake. You need this copy to be overconfident, to make him think you’ve lost your cool, then you’ll make your move. “Don’t you dare talk about Meloka!”
“Aren’t you selling the act a little too hard?” your clone says smugly, dropping his blade down in a powerful overhead chop. You swing your own blade from right to left, metal smashing into metal as your roar. “I’m not that dumb. Right hun?”

Meloka doesn’t say anything, simply watching as you fight your clone. Between attacks you take a quick glance to her, seeing that she’s got her Warding Eyes up around her. You swing your blade over and over, your copy meeting you blow for blow. Neither of you has the advantage, this the first time you’ve had to seriously fight another Djem So user beside Bane. After more than thirty exchanges, you both lock blades, getting in each other’s faces.

“You’re going to fail.” the copy whispers, you seeing it’s eye away from Meloka change. The white of it’s eye changes to red, the pupil glowing yellow. “You can’t beat me, Saiyan.”
“Oh yeah?” you ask, smirking. The copy blinks in surprise, you twisting the swords and smashing your forehead into it’s nose. “Take this!”
“Gyaah?” the copy shouts, staggering back from the hit. It’s image of you fails, revealing it’s true form. “Dammit!”

“What the hell?” you say, confused. What was a copy of your own body morphs into a large demon, who’s form is slightly smaller than your own Berserker form. The beast has a pair of horns and three eyes, tail ending in a large spike.
“DIE!!!” Meloka roars. “BLADESTORM!!”
“Shit!” you shout, leaping back as Meloka fires her ultimate attack. Having taken that attack head-on before, you know just how much damage it can do. So as you watch the demon’s body get shredded by her overpowered attack, you feel a small pang of sympathy for the demon. But after several seconds her attack ends, leaving pieces of the demon everywhere. “What the hell was that?”
“My name is Majin Ozotto.” the demon says, his pieces all coming back together. You watch on, shocked, as the demon’s body reforms before you eyes. “And both of your abilities have made quite the additions to my collection. But now that your techniques are all mine, it’s time to kill you both.”

His demonic aura flares up around him, the pressure from his aura physically pushing you back away from him. His strength climbs higher and higher, the demon cackling laughing. Your wife dashes up to you, demonic aura flaring as well as she stares him down.

“Sorry for mistaking you for that demon.” she says, taking her stance. “Damn shapeshifting demons. C’mon, let’s end this bastard!”
“We don’t have much time.” you say, taking your stance beside your wife. “Freeza hit the planet with an attack earlier, we only have a few minutes before it explodes.”
“So then I’d better end you both quickly!” the demon taunts, his power continuing to shoot upwards.
“Shit.” Meloka says, worried. “What now?”
“Now?” the demon says with a chuckle, then launching itself towards the two of you. “Now you die!”

If I remember correctly, the machine usually only has enough juice for two trips - one there and one back. His future is trashed to hell and back and doesn’t even really have good targets to suck dry, plus most of the eggheads are dead - and I doubt Bulma would make more fuel for him to go scouring timelines with. Jumping to a second new timeline is viable, but also a risk factor - it could be even worse off for his needs. Technically (although UNLIKELY) it’s even possible that this could be the second one he’s tried, after the first one failed to have androids to eat.
It’s something I can see him debating, weighing his options instead of taking risks in his imperfect form. Ultimately it’s not at all impossible for this timeline to get a Cell, when you consider all the factors and limitations that he’d be working with.

Your green aura shifts dark, the demonic energy changing and reinforcing your body. Power explodes out of you, you taking off far faster than you’d planned as you’re already halfway around the planet. But a moment later you see Meloka, the demon close on her heels. Your wife then telepathically reaches out to you. “You ready?”
“Let’s do this.” you reply, twisting your body and preparing for a massive horizontal swing using your body’s full power. Meloka closes in, firing a barrage of ki blasts to hold the demon’s attention while also kicking up a large cloud of smoke. You swing as the demon breaks through the clouds, but it seems he was ready.

“Not good enough.” Majin Ozotto taunts, reaching out and catching your blade with one hand. Your attack is so-easily stopped it’s stunning, you fighting to keep your jaw from dropping. Just how strong is this thing? But before you can wonder, steam begins rising out from where the demon is holding the blade. You both look down curiously, the demon suddenly screaming in agony and flinching backwards. You get hit with the sudden smell of burning flesh, watching in confusion as the demon grabs at his own hand. “So that is the real weapon, and not just an imitation. I’d better kill you quickly.”
“Enough, Ozotto.” an enemy Towa says as she appears, laying a hand on the large demon’s shoulder. “Fu as unleashed an ancient monster, it’s time for us to pull back.”
“Hmph. You’re lucky, Saiyans.” Ozotto says, crossing his arms. “Next time, I’ll kill you both for certain.”

“Wait!” you say, both vanishing before your eyes. With them gone, your seal no longer burning, you and Meloka both drop your Supervillain forms. “Dammit, now what?”
“We need to go back.” Meloka says, you nodding to her and putting the first two fingers of your right hand to your forehead. Your wife holds your left hand in her right as you focus your ki sense, you feel Freeza’s enormous ki first. After that you feel Ubo, King Vegeta, and Bardock’s ki as well, the three each a good distance apart from each other. But you also feel another unfamiliar, tremendous power radiating from the planet. That can’t be good.

One moment you’re on the Dark Planet, the next you find yourself inside an unfamiliar stone structure. It seems to be some sort of chamber, dozens of stone pillars supporting the roof. The only light comes from yours and Meloka’s auras, your green and her gold radiating out dozens of feet into the darkness. You both look around, not seeing the source of the ki. Lifting your right hand, gathering a small ball of energy in your hand. It burns bright, the green light radiating out and illuminating the darkness.

As your light illuminates your surroundings, a massive skeletal beast roaring. The beast roars, the force pushing you both backwards. Your feet slide across the smooth brick ground, its head lunging forward and snapping at you both. Leaping back, you and Meloka split up to avoid getting bitten.

“Woah!” you shout, backflipping and sliding to a stop on the smooth stone. The skeletal beast roars again, Meloka landing beside you. “What the hell?”
“So this is the beast, huh?” Meloka asks, it absolutely radiating power. Even at your Ascended Berserker power, the beast is still stronger than you. Not by too much, but enough to notice the gap. “This thing’s been down here the whole time? No wonder the Guardian tried to seal it away. What’s the plan?”

“Well get down here and help us.” she replies, you both forced to leap back once again to avoid it’s snapping jaws. “We have to stop this thing before it gets to the surface!”

“Let’s take this thing down.” you say, focusing your ki into your Wolf Knight sword. The sword begins radiating with faint blue light, the beast’s head turning to focus solely on you. You watch it spread it’s wings, once more bellowing. But as it does, a wave of dark flames pour forth from its bony maw. The flames race towards you so quickly you don’t have time to react. Before you can leap aside or create your barrier, your entire body is doused in black flames. You and Meloka both cry out in agony, the dark fire scorching you both. As the fire burns your body you lose all concentration on your attack, the weight of the flames forcing you down flat on the ground. But as your body is burned, it actually strikes beyond that, burning your very soul. You lose your Ascended Berserker form as well, and after several agonizing seconds that feels like an eternity, the flames finally end.

“M-Meloka...” you mutter, turning your head and seeing your wife’s body is burning. She’s been forced down to the ground as well, armor and hair burning as she lays unmoving. “N-no...”
“GUURROOOOAAAAR!!” the skeletal dragon bellows, slamming a foot down on your wife. You hear a crunch, Meloka whimpering in pain. No, you can’t let this happen. You WON’T let this happen!
“RRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, as something in your heart snaps.
