U.A. High School, the number one ranked high school for heroics and the top Hero Academy in East Japan. You don’t remember much if anything regarding U. A. considering that you were from Kyoto. Therefore you spent your high school days in Shiketsu High School. Graduating at the top of your class you immediately went traveling throughout all of Asia to further your skills before eventually returning to Japan. Through hard work and perseverance, you found yourself standing tall as one of the top five best hero in the Japan Billboards for many years.

That is until recently as you received a call from Principle Nezu and the Commissioner-General. From the conversation, you were told that All Might was planning on becoming a teacher at U.A. Although it was mostly to look for a successor they note the positive effect it’ll have on the future generation. Having previous practices as a substitute teacher in a multitude of schools, you were requested to come to U.A. as additional insurance due to All Might’s presence. Only after talking with several longtime colleagues including Sir Nighteye did you find the motivation to take the request and become a homeroom teacher.

Currently, you stand at your desk looking at your name tent in shiny gold plating. Making sure they didn’t misspell your name, you read out loud to yourself the identity behind the mask.

>Who are you?

> Yusuke Endō

Quirk - Phantasma. In addition to becoming intangible, it allows one to insert a portion of themselves into an object and manipulate it accordingly.

> Kyōya Suzumiya

Quirk- Quake. It allows one to manipulate vibrations for a wide array of versatile applications.

> Shippō Shiranui

Quirk - Rainbow Fire. A hybrid quirk of Flame and Mineral. Through the manipulation of one’s body heat, it allows one to manifest and control one of seven gemstones from their body through calcium.

> Kaito Shindo

Quirk - Bound. It allows for one to steal the physical properties and can choose to swap it for something else or trigger deformation.

> Aizen Hisakawa

Quirk - Vaporizer. It grants one the power to disassemble, scatter and reform anything they touch accordingly. Anything affected by this power usually takes the form of vapor-like particles.

>Saikō Ōshiro

Quirk - Energizer. By stockpiling energy and/or stamina, it allows one to supercharge their physical and mental capabilities as well as amplify those around them.

“Mi...ku..mo Mi...dori...ya. Okay, so I don’t have to forcibly bend this gold plate out of place to fix my name.” You muttered out, briefly sigh after putting the name tent back on the desk with your quirk. Leaving you to lean back into your chair like a lazy good for nothing.

From the moment you were born your quirk was always apart of you. Being so integrated with your daily life, it’s not surprising that you adopted sloth-like habits when not active. To say that the Quirk Psycho Mantis was more than the sum of its parts was an understatement. Not to say that you didn’t work your butt off finetuning it to the monstrous powerhouse it was today. Yet when considering your mother’s gravity-based telekinesis and your father’s firebreathing, it wasn’t all too surprising that a hybrid would end up being so strong.

In any case, you take a moment to pull out a mirror to look at your appearance. Shoulder length spring hair with curled up ends, matching green eyes covered by a pair of glasses, a pale complexion, and a lean athletic body. Currently, you were wearing a black business suit with a checkered tie, dress shoes and black gloves. Staring at your appearance closely gave you the impression you look more like a hitman or yakuza instead of a pro hero working as a teacher. Agitated by this you let out another sigh before dropping to your desk.

“What am I doing here? I’m not meant to be a teacher...I can barely tolerate people.” You lament in anguish and doubt. Substitution teaching was one thing as the worst you’d have to do was keep students from trying to prank you or disrupt class. Here you were expected to look after twenty students for an entire semester if not the entire three-year run. Risking your life-fighting villains was far easier in comparison.

Before anxiety could claim you, you use your quirk to smack yourself with one of your black gloves. “Getting it together Miku. You knew exactly what you were getting into when accepting this job. And there’s no turning back. “

Chi or Ki is your lifeforce/bio-energy courtesy of father dearest's fire breathing. As to why it has to do with psychokinesis. its quirk singularity. Without it, you wouldn't be able to affect living matter with your quirk. Only inanimate objects.

But I guess I could just simplify it and say it bends energy rather than being specific.

Letting out a grown you force yourself out of your slump by pulling out the flash drive. Considering you were tying up some loose ends in pro-work and setting on leaving your agency to your trusted right-hand man and sidekicks, it was only natural you didn’t have time to personally show up to the exam room. Luckily President Nezu sent you a personal copy of the footage for all the exams and the respected examiners for you to study for your leisure. Since it was going to be a while before classes start, you decide to take this chance to review.

Popping the flash drive to your customized laptop-tablet you navigate through the respected folders. After finding what you were looking for did you start the video. Immediately your eyes watched closely at the exam taking place. The test was simple even a toddler can understand the objective. Yet for some reason, the test was starting to bug you as you watch the applicants struggle to rack up points. In hindsight having the examiners fight mechanical robots was positively absurd even for hero standards.

For instance, some weren’t exactly suited for direct combat or held powerful quirks that didn’t work against machines. Naturally you never really experience such a problem in your day. No, what you had to deal with was a written exam, a fitness exam and a survival course. All three worked together in unison to give a more practical evaluation of scores while offering equal opportunity for any quirk to be utilized effectively. So if one were to fail then it was entirely on their performance rather than circumstances.

Pushing your opinions aside you watched the exams from all angles. Most of the applicants who past the exams were people you can already tell from first glance who got the right stuff. Much to your disdain, there was Katsuki Bakugo, self-proclaimed (jackass) number one easily demolishing the robots. Personal bias aside you knew that he was top-notch hero material, but his personality dampers any good aspects you would find in Katsuki. Another student by the name of Tenya Iida. His surname was ringing some bells as you recall in high school being a sidekick to one of the Iida family’s members. You were rather fond of their quirkiness as odd as they were.
>>
>>3971675

The more you looked at this feed the more potential students you saw. Some like Toru Hagakure using her invisibility to sneak by and turn off the machines or Koji Koda using the birds and underground critters to save people certainly caught your attention. Another person who did so was named Hitoshi Shinso. Seeing him seemingly brainwashing a grape head looking boy into protecting the others and distracting the robots as he dismantles them from back was impressive despite his disadvantage.

Out of the forty students that got in, four people didn’t need to take the test due to their recommendations. On one hand, you couldn’t help but feel just how self-defeating that whole ordeal was but reading on their data in between watching the contestants did start to fill in the cracks. Overall, you didn’t seem to have any real trouble on who passed, Katsuki aside. That is until you notice one more applicate struggling in the distance. To your shock, it was your baby brother Izuku who was straggling to rustle up some points.

The quirkless hero fanboy who always clinging to childish dreams still trying desperately to be a hero. Ten-year difference or not, it didn’t stop you from typically protecting your brother from bullies. Earning you the nickname the Terrifying Tornado Tyrant, not that it was unwanted. Although you advised your brother many times to be a police fighter or go for hero support, he still set his sights on being a hero like All Might. As much as you hate to admit it, you found such a possibility to be impossible.

That is...until you saw your brother pulling off superhuman feats like destroying the ginormous robot with a single punch. Now considering you knew Izuku your whole life, not once did he show signs of manifesting a quirk. Soon enough it all starts to become clear once you think back to the reason why you're here.

'Miss Psycho' by villains aka Mantis. Tragic nickname we got due to incident when we crashed a super villain convention that resulted in quite the mess and a lot of traumatized villains for our initial debut.

>>3971521
Personally very lazy except when using our power to handle everything possible while insisting its for 'training' and keeping ourselves 'sharp' in truth its because we are too lazy to handle it personally so why bother when we can use our quirk instead? Everyone knows this but knows better than to point it out lest we show them our 'puppet arts' even(especially) villains.

Extremely insist upon 'quality'. As in when making coffee we insist upon using green coffee beans that we roast and grind our self to make the best most goddamned freshest coffee from scratch you can enjoy. In our defense, we are always right about it much to the annoyance of others as we do this all the time and will complain if we go with the lazy/cheap option.

Motivated to become a hero after our lover died and we weren't able to stop it despite our power. Only to later find out they faked their death in order to encourage us to become a hero as we should have and he became a villain due to how his quirk twisted him. He didn't want us to know. Overall something we refuse to talk about.

Left speechless by the sudden burst of power, your eyes stay glued to the monitor observing an aspect of the perspective shattering spectacle. Just punching that giant robot once shattered it completely but left poor Izuku’s arms a battered and mangled mess. Just like his right arm, Iuzuku’s legs were reduced to ragdoll physics due to breaking them from exerting too much power. From what you understood from All Might, One for All was a unique quirk that can stockpile power through generations, and each time it’s transferred it becomes far stronger with the next, essentially creating a Superman-like being of physical prowess.

Currently, only the staff including yourself know about All Might’s secrets. A good thing too since one of the few requests you made before taking the job is knowing the full story, including the fight between him and the man called All for One. But that’s a story for another time. Right now you find yourself filled with conflicting emotions, the most prominent one was the sheer unyielding rage. It was so rampant that if you weren’t keeping mind of your surroundings, the entire room’s assortment of items would currently be spinning in a violent tornado, leaving just you in the eye of the storm.

Taking a deep breath you take your glasses off, folding them properly before setting them on their carrying case. Followed by a few minutes of complete silence, you abruptly shoot out the classroom through telekinetic flight. Appearing like a shooting star, your body continuously resonates with an illuminating greenish aura, acting like a supercharged veil capable of protecting you from harm, mastering it to the point it was like a second skin.

Sitting in the teacher’s lounge was Toshinori Yagi otherwise known by his hero name All Might currently brewing himself some green tea. Unlike the typical optimized hulking body, his current form was a sharp contrast with his very skinny body with sharp, angular features and long limbs. Truly a far cry from the number one hero who always saves the day with a smile. But you knew precisely why he was like this. Not that it matters as you stood floating right behind him, arms folded and hair flowing wildly. There was no doubt about you appearing like a Yakuza hitwoman as that precisely describes your terrifying presence.

After staring daggers at Toshinori for a couple of minutes, you finally decide to break the silence. Knowing full well that All Might can feel your presence but was being both polite and nervous to the point he was speechless. Then again, when you have an enraged psychic floating behind you all menacingly you’d be worried too.
>>
>>3972683

“Mr. Yagi.” Your voice echos as it was somewhat distorted thanks to your psychokinesis.

“...Yes, Ms. Midoriya.” All Might says, keeping his back turned to keep his composure. He chuckles awkwardly at the situation. “So what’s troubling you?”

“You said you came to UA looking for a successor, Someone to inherent one for all and become the next symbol of peace right?” You ask, tapping your finger against your forearm as a means to keep yourself from going ballistic.

Figuring out precisely what would set you off Toshinori turns briefly with an awkward smile. “Now Ms. Midoriya I was planning on telling you the next time-”

“I’m not finished, Mr. Yagi. Please don’t interrupt me.” You glared, the voice becoming more disorientated and loud, like one of those ghostly horror movie monsters. Toshinori kept quiet as you take another breath.

“Now I came along because of the request of the principle and your trusted colleagues. So as a pro hero I don’t have any issues if you pick your successor without consorting it with everyone. However….as an older sister. I like you to explain yourself. Tell me why did it have to be my brother? “ You ask, giving Toshinori the chance to explain himself.

Naturally, Toshinori took the time to properly explain everything, all while making some coffee for you. A gesture that you reluctantly accept as you had bigger things to worry about. That and while not quite up to your perfectionist standards, Toshinori did know how to make a pretty decent cup of coffee among other beverages. In short thanks to Izuku putting his life on the line when everyone was frozen with hesitation, it gave Toshinori the evidence needed to make him his next successor. Mentally you were reflecting on the incident being a mix of Katsuki and Izuku’s fault, though you still swayed towards blaming the explosive jackass. Meanwhile, your coffee was starting to boil and rumble from your quirk leaking out.
>How do you react?

>Reluctively accept the circumstances and force Toshinori to bare responsibility.

No one would honestly blame you if you lose your composure and throw the hot coffee directly at Toshinori’s face. Fighting was prohibited and you weren’t the rambunctious teenager who threw the first person to piss you off into a wall or drop them on the ground. You were a respected pro hero and a responsible adult of the mid-twenties. Such childish antics were beneath you, no matter how internally you wanted to ball your eyes out in frustration and slam your hands against All Might for doing something so selfish and irresponsible. In the end, you came to the decision for the best course of action for this situation. Just as any pro would.

You sighed, rubbing your temples in the process before finally looking at Toshinori in the eye. “You two are positively hopeless. Not like I have much of a choice in the matter. It’ll be wrong to assume that you can take back the inherence from Izuku much less expect him to part with it after everything he’s gone through. No matter how much I disagree with how this chain of events has been handled.”

“So does that mean you’re not mad and you’ll forgive young Izuku for accepting my selfish request?” Toshinori asks, showing signs of genuine shock as from what knew of you he was expecting something a lot more...headstrong.

Turning your head to quickly give Toshinori the cold shoulder, you make it very apparent that he wasn’t off the hook. “No, actually I’m absolutely livid that both you and Izuku decided to keep it a secret from me for an entire year and do it behind my back. Unlike my mother, I’m not so easy to fool with making up stories about him miraculously manifesting his quirk. I’ve seen his chi far too many times to tell if anything was out of line to be deceived like that.” As you say this, that radiating green aura of yours quickly dissipates as you land softly to the ground.

“But Izuku admires you from the top of his heart. He’s clumsy, recklessly and always unsure of himself. He’s the total opposite of Katsuki Bakugo in comparison. Yet even someone like me can tell just how much of the hero’s spirit is in him. So as much as I want him to stay away from this line of work and continue playing hero in the safety of his imagination, I have to let him trek down this path.” You smile bittersweetly, feeling rather melancholy over the situation as you slowly pull yourself back together. This wasn’t something you can tell your parents. While your father might be more understanding, it’s safe to assume your mother would fall into a coma over the stressful endeavor. The last thing your mother needs is unnecessary stress.
>>
>>3973413

Seeing the ambivalent look on your face, Toshinori took it upon himself to transform. In just a blink of an eye, you saw the skinny man returning into the muscular powerhouse he was as his baggy clothing start to fit him perfectly. If not getting close to barely restraining such bulging muscles underneath. Following up on this act, Toshinori suddenly gets down on all fours and starts to bow to you.“I understand Ms. Midoriya. I’m truly grateful for your understanding and from the bottom of my heart, I’m truly sorry for burdening you with additional trouble. I promise no harm will come to Young Izuku and I will do everything in my power to help him become a worthy successor as the next symbol of peace.”

As expected you find yourself flabbergasted to the point of embarrassment at seeing the symbol of peace kneeling to you in atonement for his actions. “M-Mr. Yagi! Don’t just randomly transform back into your true form out of nowhere! You can only safely use it four hours a day. You shouldn’t be wasting it on something like this! Also, get up from the ground! You’re embarrassing me!” You said, covering your face as you turn away from looking at the scene.

“No, I think it’s rather approximate to show my atonement and resolve by bowing like this. Also, call me Toshinori, you don’t need to be so formal with me Ms. Midoriya. We’re going to be more than just fellow associates since we’re both teachers now. So let’s try to have a more friendly relationship.” Toshinori smiles, getting up before offering his hand to you.

Looking at your senior, you quickly close your eyes and silently pouting as your pale complexion became rosier. “Fine, but in that case just call me Mikumo or Miku. Having the number one hero showing me this much respect is making me queasy.” You said, taking Toshinori’s hand and shaking it in acceptance.

After getting your affairs back in order you turn back to face Toshinori once more. “On that note Mr. Yag-ahem Toshinori. I won’t tolerate any half-assed guidance. If you’re going to make Izuku the next symbol of peace then you got to do it right. He doesn’t know how to use a quirk properly like the rest of us and given his selfless nature to the point of being self-destructive, I’m not going to sit idly by and let him destroy himself trying to master that legendary power. “ As you said this you arch your left finger into a pointing stance, keeping it aimed at Toshinori’s face. The difference in height was as clear as day as he towers over you like a massive pillar. Thus, you needed to levitate with your quirk to keep your imposing presence.
>>
>>3973419

“Therefore, as his sister, I’m intervening in this matter and taking part in training Izuku. I might not look it but I’m just as good at fixing people as I am breaking things through bending and controlling the flow of latent energy or chi inside. That said, I won’t let it be an excuse for him to act careless and think I’ll patch up his wounds.” You declared, not taking no for an answer. Toshinori could only chuckle in response before resuming his smile.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way Mikumo,” Toshinori said, reverting to his slim for as you descend back onto the couch.

“Excellent. Before class officially starts, we can use that time working with my brother and help him control his power output. It’s clear he’s far too weak to handle the full extent of your power.” You reflect, already diving into mentor mode once it became clear you were working with Toshinori on handling your brother. Already you were on the right path in handling this predicament. While you still weren’t one hundred percent on board with Izuku being the next successor, you were at least going to make sure he does it right.

After your long discussion with Toshinori, you were making your way through the halls. Currently, it was cutting close to lunchtime though you didn’t mind having it pushed to later. What you needed to do next was far more important than keeping up with bodily maintenance. In all of the excitement, you almost ended up forgetting that you needed to meet up with the other homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Otherwise known as the Erasure Hero - Eraser Head, a true professional and master of his craft.

Anyone who was worth their salt knows precisely what kind of hero Shota was. You knew of him mainly through your senpai Emi Fukukado’s constant talk about him during your days in Shiketsu High School. He was someone who was rather anti-social, strict and a follower of logic and reasoning. In some was he was similar to you though in your case it’s mainly trying to be the incarnation of Yamato Nadeshiko to suppress and restrain your hotblooded tendencies. Speaking of tendencies you saw Shota currently lying in his office in his sleeping back.

Sensing your presence as you walk inside the office, Shota slowly slips out of his sleeping back to greet you properly. “Hmm, Mikumo Midoriya. Just the person that I was looking for. According to Principle Nezu, it seems that you and I will be working together as homeroom teachers for class 1A and 1B. Therefore, I want to have a one on one chat with you about structuring our schedules and work ethics for this year.”

“Small world isn’t it? I was thinking about looking for you precisely for that same reason.” You reply, closing the door on the way in order to have a private conversation.

“Good, good. Thinking rather rationally while simultaneously being efficient, as expected of the Number Five Hero of Japan.” Shota remarks. Although you couldn’t tell it through his deadpan expression he was rather pleased by your actions.
>>
>>3973626

“You praise me, Mr. Aizawa. Honestly, if you stepped into the limelight you’d easily make it to the top ten easily.” You say, scratching the back of your head trying to brush it off as no big deal.

Looking rather closely at your body movements, Shota keeps a stern glance as he mentally documents your demeanor. “Nonsense. While my skills are top-notch I don’t have a particular fondness for attention, it makes doing my work all the more troublesome, especially when they know the ins and outs of my tactics. Besides, compared to me who works in the shadow, you’re someone who’s highly versatile and can stand being in the spotlight.”

“Maybe so, I am within the same generation as Kamui Woods and Ryukyu. But it has never been something that really weighing over my mind. To be honest I only stepped into the spotlight for Izu-I mean personal reasons.” In between talking, you managed to catch yourself in mid-sentence about to spill a rather important if not unprofessional reason as someone of your mindset would choose to be in the spotlight. Shota barely registers this as he returns to sitting in his chair and opening up his desk.

“In any case, I can already assume that spent your time closely briefing yourself of all forty applicants in the freshman division. I already compiled them together in this notebook and have taken the necessary means to make recommendations on what would be the most balanced group for us to handle between 1A and 1B.” As he says this, Shota would hand you the document containing the organized list of possible combinations that was best for a stable, balanced class. You had to hand Shota for his sound logic as you read through it. “Personally it makes no difference which class I’m in charge of. It doesn’t change what needs to be done to make sure these kids are polished into proper heroes.”

“I suppose you’re right..” You mutter, flapping through it rather quickly as a fast reader. Processing large amounts of information like this in mere seconds was child’s play for you.

Vlad King (Sekijiro Kan) - Modern Literature
Snipe - Mathematics
Sir Gentle (Danjuro Tobita) - Modern Hero Art History
Orca (Kugo Sakamata)/Mt. Lady (Yu Takeyama)- Heroics [Formally Gran Torino but recently retired from his position, therefore, the rotation set up until a permanent replacement can be found]
Soul Rider (Toya Todoroki) - English

After going through the stacks of possible combinations, two combinations stood out the most out of the rest makeup Class 1A and 1B. In one of those sheets, it seems that Izuku and Katsuki were placed in the same class along with recommended student Momo Yaoyorozu & Shoto Todoroki, the dark horse Shinso Hitoshi, the fan-favorite Tenyu Iida, the adaptable Fumikage Tokoyami and the smooth gentleman Saiki Masami. All in all, this was a rather well put list as you mentally document it to memory.

As for the second class, it seems to be just as equally balanced and powerful as the previous list. Most noticeably was the phantom thief Neito Monoma, the second-place winner Takeda Tomoko, the martial arts specialist Itsuka Kendo, the eccentric juggernaut T4 as you nicknamed Tetsu, the recommended students Setsuna Tokage & Juzo Honenuki, the mysterious Shihai Kuroiro, and strangely enough a new transfer student Pony Tsunotori. This was turning out to be quite an intriguing list of individuals.

No team was stronger than the other as they covered a wide array of specializations. Just what you can expect from the Erasure Hero to come up with. Now the only thing that needed to be done was to put yourself into the same class as Izuku. There you can not only continue keeping an eye on him but make sure Katsuki doesn’t do anything stupid and bully your brother. As you gather your plan of action, you hand Shota the two sheets you deemed perfect out of the bundle and leaving him to put the rest in his desk.

“I have no problem with going with your recommended list here. After watching the footage just recently I can tell first hand that this will be the best setup to go with to keep these newcomers in check and giving them a stable foundation to work off.” You said with a smile.

Shota nods, taking the two sheets of paper and reviewing them before turning back to you. “Excellent. We can now dive into the second portion of the class assortment. Ms. Midoriya, I can already guess that by common sense you want to be in the first class with your little brother but might I make a suggestion and ask you to take Class 1B instead? If you don’t mind that is.”

Shocked by this you momentarily lost your composure before narrowing your eyes and politely placing your hand on the desk. “With all due respect Mr. Aizawa, I do particularly mind. Not to get the wrong idea, but you should know one important matter between Izuku and Katsuki. How should I put this...” Removing your hands from the desk, you soon took a thinking pose, eyes closed as you brew the best way to abbreviate thirteen years of Stockholm syndrome. “They have a rather...toxic relationship. Going far back as kindergarten, it’s questionably abusive and self-defeating. It only worsens during an accident at the forest creak as the formerly quirkle-” You said, stopping midway once you realize you were about to blow your cover. This was going to take some getting used to.
>>
>>3974519

“No need to pause Ms. Midoriya. I already know from All might that Deku is quirkless. One of the requirements for All Might to join the U.A. Academy as a teacher is the disclosure of who is his successor so we can monitor and protect them accordingly until they are ready to take over as the next big hero. That’s partially why you’re here Ms. Midoriya.” Shota explains.

Relieved by this you took a sigh of relief before sitting back into your chair. “Well, then I shall continue by pointing out Izuku’s mental state. Growing up quirkless has done a serious blow to his confidence and questionably left him partially detached from reality as he fantasizes about being a hero. So I’m worried now that he has a quirk, an extremely powerful one at that he’ll do something stupid and hurt himself in the process. The entrance exam is a prime example. And let’s not forget the walking pandora’s box that is Katsuki Bakugo. I don’t even want to imagine how he’ll react to Izuku’s new quirk.”

“Reasonable concerns Ms. Midoriya. I’m well aware of the background between Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo. Two boys who grew up in the same town and share the same admiration for All Might. From what you added on to that it seems that my instincts were right to pair them up together.” Shota says, slowly pulling out a document containing both Izuku and Katsuki’s files. Expected by this, you refrain from speaking and letting Shota continue his explanation.

“Having Katsuki being surrounded with people who are just as good if not better than him will diminish his egomaniac behavior. Being surrounded by people who inflated his ego has clearly caused him to have both a superiority and to some degree an inferiority complex. Unlike Izuku who clearly has an inferiority and in some ways a superiority complex given how both acted differently yet somehow similarly in the entrance exams.” Shota says, politely letting you have a turn now.

“So that’s why the class placement is structured like this.” You question, starting to get a faint read on what Shota was planning.
>>
>>3974544

“It’s one of the factors but yes, that’s why I also put Shoto Todoroki and Shinso Hitoshi into the same class as Katsuki. Out of the four recommended applicants, Shoto is ranked the highest and is the youngest son to the number 2nd Hero Endeavor as well as the little brother to the number 7th Hero Soul Rider. Not to mention Shinso is a very talented individual, heck you can argue he’s a natural genius with a powerful quirk despite it not meant for direct combat. If things go smoothly it’ll force Katsuki to re-evaluate his decisions and put him down the right path.” As Shota says this, he slowly puts Katsuki’s document down before looking at Izuku’s.

“As for Izuku, I believe this team setup will also help him push forward as a hero. Being around different types of heroes will have him learn the many ways he can be an effective hero. As well as push him forward by having other rivals to compete with. As much as I know you probably want to directly manage Izuku’s progress it’ll only make him too complacent and bound to make reckless choices knowing his big sister is there to bail him out. No, perhaps being there will further trigger his inferiority complex. Siblings generally do not like to be under the shadow of their more successful older sibling. “ Shota says, bluntly pointing out the negative effect of your presence as the number five hero has on Izuku. Just like that, he managed to deliver a precise yet swift sucker punch right in your weak spot metaphorically. Leaving you momentarily speechless as you stare down at Izuku’s picture.

>I was a little shocked at you guys deciding to not wanting to mama hawk your brother.
We don't have anything that stops him Izuku hurting himself. Aizawa does.
I doubt we have good enough social to keep Bakugo in check, without resorting to violence.
Generally it would be hard to avoid favoritism torwards Izuku and smashing Bakugos head.
>>
>>3975055

Truth be told you were rather upset at evaluation. Sure there was the possibility of showing favoritism but you were a pro hero. Once you commit to the job you treat everyone just the same with that cold and calculating judgment you were known for. That said, your mental state would be put through the wringer keeping yourself from continuously snarking at Katsuki whenever he says or does something inappropriate, especially when it comes to your little brother. In your youth, you came close multiple times to throwing Katsuki around with your quirk like a ragdoll, So with that into consideration, Shota most certainly has a point.

The more you thought about it the more Shota’s reasoning starts to make sense. According to the records he has the quirk that allows him to nullify another’s quirk by blocking the connection with a simple glance. In comparison to that, what exactly did you have that can stop Izuku from harming himself? Your quirk while tremendously versatile and strong carries an assortment of weaknesses. That includes being unable to restrain something that exceeds your mental strength through physical strength. As strong as you are, if Izuku’s strength really exceeds All Might’s in his prime then you weren’t going to come out of the exchange unscathed.

Then there’s messing with his Chi but that too didn’t actually stop the Qurik from activating, only making it unstable at best. Not to mention the ramifications Izuku would feel having you mess with his bio-energy like that. As you pondered on what to do, you begin to start mumbling underneath your breath. Considering every possibility and countermeasure that was in your arsenal, you find yourself lost in thought. Luckily Shota kept to himself as he gave you as much time needed to think this carefully. Eventually, with all your wits you couldn’t justify yourself being the superior choice to Shota.

With a silent sigh, you raise up your hands as a sign of defeat. “...Yes, you make your point clear. Arguing with you over it would be a waste of precious time and energy. But don’t go thinking I’m not going to keep an extra eye out. I spent my entire life watching Izuku from afar, I don’t plan on completely giving that up yet.”

“Good, I’m glad we can come to a mutual understanding,” Shota responds, offering his hand for a handshake in agreement.

“Hmph.” You muttered, still a bit upset over the ordeal but takes Shota hand and give a firm handshake.

“Don’t worry Ms. Midoriya, I won’t let him walk down the path of self-destruction and throw away his potential. Even if that means expelling him and having him stay in support until next year.” Shota says, reassuring you of any doubt. Easier said than done as you quickly pick up that subtle implication of expulsion.

“..Wait expulsion.” “Surely you must be joking...right?” You blink, making a slightly awkward smile and closing your eyes expecting it to be a joke.
>>
>>3975074

Shota kept a very strong poker face as his deadpan expression quickly tells you that he wasn’t joking. “I thought you knew about my policy that if any student doesn’t meet the standards for U.A. or by judgment shows zero potential, I expel them without hesitation.”

In response to this, you continue to keep your awkward smile, laughing a bit at the absurdity. On the surface, you were keeping your cool and showing a relaxed demeanor. Mentally however you were screaming internally at the situation. Practically signing Izuku’s death warrant, you can only pray for Izuku’s fortune. Good Luck Izuku. You have a very tough obstacle to overcome right off the bat.

After your time with Shota things quickly went back to mundanity. Sure you found time to mingle with your peers during lunch and got the bulk of your school preparations done but the rest of the day was smooth sailing for you. Even without your quirk in the mix, you were known for being thorough if not borderline workaholic. Combined with your natural talents in management and strategy, its not all too surprising to see such superhuman levels of multitasking. Compare to your agency doing something as simple as scheduling setup was a child’s play.

Finishing up the last of your work, you make your way towards your Volkswagen Beetle. Unlike your customized sports car based on knight rider, you were advised to drive something more...casual. Even then the tricks that your trusty Volkswagen can do manages to make driving up to your speed demon standards. Personally, if it was up to you you’d stick to flying as nothing comes close. Alas, you weren’t in hero mode so you made do. Arriving at a modest yet comfy three stories house you brace yourself to welcome your family and head to slumber.

The following week went as followed. Starting up early in the morning you casually use your quirk to pull your brother out of bed. Last night you made it very clear that while you haven’t fully forgiven Izuku for keeping secrets or recklessly diving into heroism without considering all his possibilities, you were at least going to support him the best way how. Through rigorous, backbreaking training. Naturally, Izuku tried to get away but his resistance was futile. Despite your questionably tyrannical adduction, Izuku did show gratitude in your assistance.

Whenever your schedule allowed it you met up with All Might in the formerly garbaged beach for training Izuku. From his explanation of One for All, you started to grasp the basics quite easily. Being no stranger to physical attribute enhancements you slowly walk Izuku through the basics. Much to your concerns, it seems like handling anything more than five percent of his quirk. Thus, you begin establishing a workout plan to slowly help your brother condition his body to handle more as time passes on.
>>
>>3975243

Aside from that you and All Might strive to help Izuku control his power output. Trying to have him do it throughout his whole body was far too risky in the short time you have for training. For now, you settled with him improving his control through precision and singulation. In just one week’s time, Izuku was able to consistently bring out five percent of his quirk into a single area in short bursts. While it was possible to raise up the volume, you forbid Izuku from doing so unless its an emergency.

When you weren’t working with your brother and All Might you spent your time back in your agency in Mantis Castle. A refurbished old landmark from as far as the Sengoku era it was your comfy fortress of solitude to do as your hearts desire. Although you set up the agency in good hands whenever you would be too busy with school work to assist, it didn’t stop you from taking care of any loose ends. You wanted those fellow sidekicks and rookie pro heroes to be fresh and ready to tackle any problem

Before you knew it it was already the start of the new school year. It didn’t take you long to get ready and leave for work. At first, you offered your little brother a ride in your car to school but he respectfully declined. Telling you first-hand that seeing you drive him to school would draw too much unwanting attention on him. Deep down he was more afraid of what you’ll do to anyone if they harass him which he was justified in worrying. Leaving in an angry pout you made your way to school and set your sights to your new class.

Alrighty then, looks like we're going for assessments before figuring out what to do from there.

Also, this isn't final but I was considering this for a hero costume. Open to suggestions.

Was going for a Scarlet Witch vibe but I suppose X3 Jean Grey makes more sense. Also, the mask was thinking something like this, the only semblance of your old outfit in your younger years.

Also going to be coming up some feats for people to recognize your heroic endeavors from but I'm open to taking others.

Arriving once again at U.A. High School you navigate your way down the hall. Occasionally waving your hand to several of your peers like Midnight, Present Mic, Vlad King, Air Jet and many more. Still atoned in your tailored suit, you find yourself being the spitting image of an ideal professional teacher, though office executive would equally be accurate. Straightening out your curly green hair was far too much of a chore even with your quirk to bother. So you made due with it as your checkered tie was the only other abnormal thing about you.

To give your students enough time to mingle with themselves and adjust, you head off to the teacher’s lounge to make yourself some coffee. As caffeine was good for stimulating your mind and helping boost your efficiency in and out of your quirk, it was only natural that you would take your beverages seriously. Especially that of your favorite drink, coffee. Anyone who has the pleasure of working with you knew just how anal you can be when it came to caffeine based drinks, mainly coffee. Unless they were half as good as you, you generally make it yourself.

To which you did as you spend your time feverishly making the damn best coffee around. For you however it was just the standard and not one of your personal special blends. Even without using your quirk you knew precisely how to apply just the right amount of force and momentum to really grind your coffee beans. As well as prepare the other ingredients like a true master. It wouldn’t take you anything short of thirty minutes to make and brew the coffee from scratch. Now if it was your quirk doing the work it’d be thirty seconds flat, but you can afford being slow.

With coffee in hand you stock your large thermos with complementary steel cup with the substance before pouring yourself one cup for the road. Perhaps a side effect of your quirk, but you never once experience burning yourself, specifically your mouth, Chalking up to daddy dearest you drank your steaming hot coffee without a single care, feeling that warmth absorbing into you and fueling your body with vigorous energy. Taking the long way you spent a rather relaxing walk to make up not just levitating instead as you arrive at the classroom.

Stepping inside you was met with a lot of noise and chattering. Unsurprisingly the Class 1B students were getting along with each other quite nicely. Normally a teacher would try and cut the chatter to focus on the morning agenda. However, you were still running off your caffeine high and english style blueberry muffin to really pay any mind to them. Before you had the time to really observe the different group ups, you suddenly met with a loud scream from Setsuna Tokage. Your thermos almost leaving your hand as you quickly use your quirk to keep it airborne and sealed shut.

“It really is her! The number five hero that makes villains call her a living calamity of justice. The Universal Hero Psycho Mantis!” Setsuna cries, pointing at you while Jurota, T4, Manga and Tomoko soon joined in her excessive cries. Again you were thankful you were on your coffee high or else you’d feel inclined to use your quirk to shut their mouths. Barely giving you the chance to set your things down you find yourself bombarded with a bunch of questions.

“Is it true that you actually dropped a meteor on a gigantic villain?!” Togaru asks, showing a mixture of curiosity and excitement through hotblooded mannerism. You felt a striking similarity to Katsuki as you meantly document it.

“Forget that, tell us the time where you took down an entire syndicate as a one woman army. With your bare hands even.” Hiryu asks, actually getting the watchful Itsuka to lid up lightly at the question despite being more responsible out of the two.

“What about the time you went into the atmosphere to catch a crashing space shuttle” Jouta asks, while being slightly loud he was very verbose and intellectual in his speech.

“Or the time you caught a bullet and then used that same bullet to deflect a wide barrage of firearms all while controlling their trajectory to dismantle just the guns.” Tomoko asks, raising a slight eyebrow at the fast work that you did.

“Or the time you split a building into before putting it back together without leaving any signs of it being destroyed?” Katana asks, morbid curiosity taking him over.

“Or how about the time you dived to the bottom of the sea to keep the titanic 2.0 from sinking while simultaneously fighting a giant kraken.” Juzo asks calmed, your eyes looked over to his right as you see that Reiko was whispering to him, perhaps being a little too verbose as he had to simply it.

“Or how about when she outraced a speeding missile from the state of the art fighter jet” Manga asks, showing genuine amazement at your presence while Pony nods in unison.
>>
>>3976341

“Oooho, what about the time where you casually strolled into a villain’s breakout during the prison and single handedly took them down without a single scratch.” Tetsutesu questions, clearly winning the most hotblooded aware as he made a small comment on how manly you are. You were honestly not sure how to take it as Kosei corrects him.

“What about the time where she ran at top speeds disarming a giant bomb while maneuvering out of the urban district. “Kinoko rand Kojiro asks in unison, resulting in them looking at one another before quickly apologizing for stealing the other’s spotlight..

“Or how about the time you circulated a widespread fire in the cathedral into that of a tiny glowing ball, keeping the damage to a mere scratch.” Ibara remarks, showing strong admiration to you as you leaned back to sip your coffee as Yui just watches you closely.

“Or the time you stopped two speeding trains from colliding and still having the time and precision to safely shield the passengers. “ Sen notes, keeping a serious expression while Shihai shows a similar concern but keeping to himself.

“Guys, guys. While its cute to hear you guys recalling some of my many feats, I’m not here as a pro celebrity, only your teacher. So I’d appreciate it if you stop staring at me like fans and just look at me as regular run of the mill instructor.” You said, waving your hand while drinking your coffee to mask the cheeky grin on your face being adored like this. It wasn’t anything special but considering that this was your class, it somehow hold a deeper meaning than just mere fans.

“That said, there’s actually a big misconception about me dropping a meteor from space to take out Gorilla General. The media over exaggerated that feat. As if I pull a meteor from space with such precision in such a short notice.” You said, finally setting down the coffee mug.

“See? I told you such a thing was a fabrication. Ms. Mantis maybe a phenomenal hero but even she isn’t on the same level of absurdity as All Might. ” Neito replies, showing an aura of wit and level headedness as he keeps everyone’s expectations grounded. Seem like he was the spitting image to one of your longtime favorite book’s protagonists Kaito Kid.
>>
>>3976357

“Actually all I did was took some large debris from the surrounding wastelands, used the gravity and inertia to my advantage to save time applying enough pressure to compress and contain the cluster before sending it at record speed into the atmosphere before dropping it down on the prodigious primate. Knocking him out in a single blow. Think the reporters settled on the attack being called Jurassic Impact. I didn’t really care at the time since I was nursing a massive migrate after pulling that off. “ As you explain your feat in great detail, the rest of the class was starstruck at you brushing off such an act like it was nothing. Speechless was an understatement as they couldn’t bring themselves to the coffee drinking monstrosity in front of them. Even Neito lost his composure and could only awkwardly laugh.

“Now that we got that out of the way we can start with heading out to the P.E Grounds. I’ll assume you already conversed with yourself prior with introductions. But on the off chance you haven’t we can introduce ourselves during the trip. Or use your actions to speak for you through the Quirk Apprehension Test. Either way, come quickly, single file line.” You order your class rather calmly if not a big smugly after seeing them immediately jumped into order. Following right behind you, the class of 1B made their way towards the P.E Grounds building in order to change into the school issued P.E outfits. Unlike you they didn’t have their hero costumes made yet so you were the only one standing out in the field in your costume.

As you watch your class come outside to meet with you, that same starstruck feeling captured the entire class in a tight grip. Leaving them memorized at your stunning and cool beauty. Leaving you to feel rather self-conscious about the situation as you rub the side of your nose. “Although I said to treat me like every run of the mill teacher, I suppose it's hard to do so while dressed in my pro costume. Maybe I should’ve paid for a more simplified version or alternative.”

“Well whatever. Let’s get back on topic. There’s twenty students in this class out of the forty applicants who passed. Today’s goal is to see your current potential through the act of a fitness exam. As I discussed with Mr. Aizawa through the week, this is the perfect chance to set up your placement and see what we need to work on from there. It’s the U.A. Faculty’s staff to groom you newcomers into the next generation of heroes. But before we can do that, we need a strong foundation to work off on.” You explain to the class, each one keeping mainly silent as they disgust the information being given to them.

“Excuse me if I may Ms. Midoriya. But does that mean we’re allowed to use our quirks and not be regulated to how we were in middle school?”Itsuka asked, raising her hand for extra measure as you allowed her the chance to speak.

“Yes, that means you’re allowed to use your quirks. In fact, it'll be a mandatory requirement if it’s within your quirk's realm of possibility to perform. So those who don’t have the most flexible or easy to use quirks shouldn’t worry. There will be a special test for you later down the line to measure your talents. “ You nod, confirming Itsuka’s suspicion while reassuring several of the Class 1B students who’s quirks didn’t really lend themselves to such activity peace of mind.

Seeing the class all peaceful and relax was lifting to see but happy expression slowly descend to a more serious, hardass frown. Before they would get complacent and not give it their all, you quickly nit it in the bud. “One more thing. Although I said to teach me as a run of the mill teacher. Don’t expect me to ease up on you like a common teacher. I’m still learning the ropes as to how U.A. does things but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m a Shiketsu High School graduate and the top one at that. The scenery may be different but I believe the core fundamentals are the same. So I won’t tolerate any half-assed attempts or sloppy cheating.

“Unlike Mr. Aizawa I don’t strive to expel any students who don’t meet my expectation. All it tells me that my methods need to be more thorough in molding you into proper students. So rejoice. Cause even if you fail, there’s always a chance to make it to the top. Even if you have to go through hell to do so. ”You gave a rather condescending smile, implying rather subtly that there was a worse fate than falling for those who don’t give their all. Giving off a cold, judging stare, you start to replicate the same mannerism as your old Shiketsu mentor. Effectively turning yourself into a drill inspector as your student froze up in an instant. “Do I make myself clear?”

“Yes ma’am.” The class says in union, not looking to back talk Psycho Mantis and get flung like a rag-doll.

“Good, now we may begin.” You said, turning back to the field as you got the equipment ready.

After getting things set up, you start to surf through the list of students to serve as an example for the test in between explanation. You find yourself stopping on Sen due to his impressive overall gym history. Relying on Sen to give a good demonstration, you hand him the ball before pulling out your tablet through your quirk. To your delight, you were soon met with an impressive throw of seven hundred and fifty meters. Thanks to Sen’s quirk Gyrate, an ability that allows him to spin and rotate any part of his body, it gave him the wind-up force to build up enough momentum to carry the ball tremendously far. More to it then that you saw first hand the dedicated fine-tuning that produces the combat-ready prowess that was Sen Kaibara.

Starting with the fifty-meter dash, you weren’t met with many people who couldn’t past the average of twelve seconds. The fastest student was Juzo through his quirk softening to turn the ground into a slippery substance for him to slide and reach about two seconds. Second was Setsuna who used her quirk Lizard Cut Tail to split herself to lighten her load and complete the course in under three and a half seconds. Aside from the Recommended students, what stood out to you was the creativity of Manga, Kojiro, Sen, Togaru, Katana, and Ibara. Each one using their quirks in an unorthodox way to reach around five seconds.

Next came the grip strength test. To your surprise, neither Juzo or Setsuna dominated as their quirks would only end up destroying the machine if not careful. Still, they were within the top ten despite this setback. Who did dominate was Jurota with his beast-like strength pushing into 700 kilograms thanks to his quirk beast. But he was soon outmatched by the ferocious strength that came from Itsuka who reached one thousand easily with her quirk Big Fist growing her hands to a big enough size to grip the machine without breaking it. Hiryu and Tetsu tied for third with their respective quirk Scales and Steel. The only creative ones you saw were Yui, Reiko, and Kojiro.

The third test was the standing long jump demonstration. The one who came on top in this event was Kosei due to his quirk Solid Air keeping him moble into the air and effectively cheesing the event. Second places went to Pony due to her horse-like physiology giving her the leg strength to jump far into the distance and past the sandbox. In third place came Magna with his quirk Comic making bouncy words for him to jump good. Setsuna, Jurota, Hiryu, Katana, and Reiko came soon after. The only creative people in this test were Itsuka who used her giant hands to boost her jumping capability, Yui who used her quirk Size to shrink the field to jump over it easily, and Tomoko who used the recoil from her quirk Second Amendment to launch her high into the sky.
>>
>>3978144

For the fourth test, it was the repeated side-stepping maneuver. Shockingly enough the one who dominated this exam was Tomoko through her quirk Second Amendment using the explosive recoil of her energized bullet constructs to bounce herself back and forth in constant motion till she almost disappeared. Second, came Ibara who used her quirk vines to pull herself back and forth at high speeds with her vine-like hair. Setsuna and Juzo tied for third through ingenuity. The only creative ones in the bunch were Kosei, Reiko, and Katana who used his quirk Swipe Slash to erase the space between him and the air to move at quick speed before simultaneously doing it again and again.

For the fifth test being the ball throw test, unsurprisingly nobody came close to beating Sen’s throw, at least fairly. Setsuna, on the other hand, used her quirk to send her right hand upwards into the atmosphere with the ball in hand till she threw it into space. Thus getting the infinity symbol on your tablet. Of course, you were conflicted on the matter but you didn’t have long to reflect on it. Reiko came in third through the use of poltergeist while pony soon came after through marking her ball with horn cannons and levitating her ball into the unknown. The only creative people were Tomoko, Katana, Hiryu, and Kosei.

The sixth test was a punching machine test. As you came to expect, Itsuka manages to breeze through the test with a single punch. Really if it wasn’t for you using your quirk to further reinforce the machine, several of the students being Tetsu, Sen, Hiryu, Joruta, and Tomoko would’ve done serious damages to the machine. Normally it wouldn’t be problematic if you let the machine get smashed. But going back and forth to replace the components was a pain that you didn’t want to undergo, quirk or not. The creative people for this run were Kosei, Reiko, Yui, Manga, and Juzo. By now you are starting to notice a pattern.

The Seventh test being the reflex test you were rather surprised that the name of the game was whack-a-mole. You knew it was to test one’s perception skills and reflexes. Even so, you have to wonder if this was really the right way to do so. As for who came to dominating it was a three-way tie between Setsuna, Kosei, and Sen. Each one maximizing the effectiveness of their quirk while using split-second reflexes to hit the mole both effectively and efficiently. The creative ones of the bunch were Reiko, Ibara, Pony, Hiryu, and Togaru especially thanks to his quirk Razor-sharp turning him into a living assortment of bladed weaponry.
>>
>>3978149

The eight and final test was Parkour, a means to test dexterity and awareness. By now you easily predicted based on previous results that Setsuna was the most likely student to claim first. However, to your surprise, she ended up only making it to third place. What was most surprising of all was Neito, someone who previously just relied on his own talents managing to steal first from everyone. There was no sign of him using his quirk but considering he was conserving his energy through all of it, it was only inevitable. The creative ones, in the end, were Pony, Ibara, Kosei, Yui, and Sen.

Once the test was over it didn’t take you long to evaluate the total performance of all twenty students and come to a logical conclusion for ranking. In your review, it seems that Neito, Shihai, and Kiono were the only ones who couldn’t use their quirk at all. And those that did like Reiko, Kojiro, Katana, and Manga were either limited in usage, stamina or versatility. Of course, unsurprisingly the recommended students made it to the top, with several of the fan favorites to make their way to the top ten. In any case, you quickly pulled up the projector screen to show the results to the rest of the class and prepared for the worst.

As expected there were some mixed feelings about the results. Kosei was complaining that he only made third place compared to Setsuna and Juzo, to which Setsuna codded Kosei’s competitive ego while Juzo shrugs it off. Itsuka was content with making fourth as was Sen, Ibara, Jurota, Yui, Pony and Tomoko with their placement. Like Kosei, Togaru and Tetsu made the more outlandish outcry over it in hotblooded fashion. Katana and Hiryu were complacent with their placements, almost as if they had real-world experience in combat. Manga and Koijiro carried a similar mindset but more so that they were just thankful they weren’t last.

Then you turned to the bottom four. Reiko was quiet and unmoved by her score in contrast to the disappointed and gloomy Kinoko who didn’t even get to show her quirk due to it not being as effective in any of the obstacles. Shihai was in a similar boat but he more than quietly sulked about it, making some chuunibyou explanation that fate wasn’t on their side this day. You took it as Shihai’s weird attempt at trying to make Kinoko better. But the one who took it surprisingly well was Neito. Not only didn’t he get mad about it, it was almost like he expected this outcome. And then it hits you. His quirk, copy.

If Neito wanted to he could have easily copied the most likely students capable of passing and used their talents to reach the top of the class. While you wouldn’t rule it as against the rules, the class’s consensus on it wouldn’t be all that warmful to the blond intellectual. Recalling from your records, you remember the papers saying that Neito had a lot of trouble getting into the U.A. High School. Given his quirk, he was looked down upon and suggested he’ll be better off working in support or some other useful role. Like Hitoshi Shinso, he carried a very powerful and versatile ability but it wasn’t as direct or simple to implement unlike say Explosion.

Keeping that in mind, you pulled your eyes from the tablet and fake cough to get everyone’s attention back on yourself. “Alright, now we know where exactly you currently stand. Some have proven that they’re better than others. Don’t be discouraged about that. That’s life. When you become a pro hero this is the reality that you have to constantly fight against. The best heroes are the ones who are both the best at their job and the most well-rounded. Everyone has their specialty that best suits their strengths and weaknesses. But that’s no excuse to ignore improving your other areas to become more versatile. Always consider every possibility at every waking moment. Constantly push your ingenuity as you think outside the box. Be adaptive and flexible. And most importantly never stop thinking.“
>>

“There’s a difference between not giving up and just being too stubborn to let go. While its only natural to be told not to give up, it’s a double edge sword that carries its own problem. It keeps your viewpoint clouded and narrowed. Sometimes in life, you need to have insight and awareness to know when you’re beat and let go. Letting go unlike giving up is not succumbing to weakness, it’s knowing yourself as a true master and taking action. You’re not powerless or a burden but rather you accept yourself, faults and all. When you achieve that you can start looking at things from a different perspective, such as accepting the situation.” You explain.

“So does that mean accepting how futile it is and doing nothing?” Setsuna asks, breaking the silence this time and giving you a much-needed reprise from the hotblooded and impulsive members in the bunch.

“Accepting the situation isn’t the same as doing nothing. Here accepting doesn’t mean being a victim or settling with a bad situation or not taking any action for the situation. When you accept the situation the way it’s presented you stop resisting. When you stop resisting you become stronger and peaceful. So, it becomes very easy to take action for your current situation with this stronger and peaceful mind. When you have peace of mind, you make rational decisions and alter your strategy to tackle what’s in front of you accordingly. “ You said, momentarily thinking back to Sir Nighteye during your rookie years as an intern during school. Learning everything you can about foresight and observation to anticipate and adapt accordingly.

“I think I get what Ms. Midoriya is trying to teach us. She wants us to be aware of her strengths and weaknesses but to also observe our surroundings and ask for help when the situation offers it.” Itsuka says, putting a well thoughtful insight that quickly moved the class exactly where you wanted them to be.

“Correct. No matter how we try or how far we push, we are not a one-man show. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. As heroes, we have to do what we can to save the day. But that doesn’t mean we have to let things like pride hold us back and not ask for assistance when we need it most. Remember these words and keep them forever in your heart just like I did with my master. Don’t get discouraged by what you can’t do, focus on what you can and build from it. Then, ask for a helping hand from your comrades to help you with what you can’t do as you do the same for them.”You said, almost breaking into a smile as one more person comes to mind.

“Wait, I think I heard those words before. They were a sacred mantra in hong kong due to the long-time popularity of the number one hero.” Hiryu points out, showing slight confusion at how you knew such a phrase. You couldn’t help but close your eyes and smile at that.

“That’s right I almost forgot you originated from China Hiryu. Yes, those words came from my master. The former Number 1 Hero from China, The Avatar Hero, Sakyamunī. I wouldn’t be half the person I am today without his sage guidance since middle school. If I’m honest, it was him who told me to see the world and explore as far as I can before recommending my trip throughout Asia after graduation. In time I came to do just that and learned that I was truly a big fish in a small pond. The world is vast and everchanging. Keep yourself secluded and closeminded and you’ll never grow, much less reach your true potential.”

“Anyway, that’s enough rambling for now. Back on topic. I said that the bottom of the barrel will be undergoing my special crash course. But I decide to change my mind partially. Instead, I’m extending it to the bottom ten rather than just three. Now the very last ones on my list will get the full bulk of the experience, that doesn’t mean the rest of the bottom ten will be able to sleep comfortably. Never settle for mediocrity and stagnation, always keep pushing forward. “ As you say this, you quickly transition yourself back into your Shiketsu High School instructor mindset, no different from a war veteran drill Sargent. Your class was quick to pick up on this presentation as they went back to being quiet out of fear.

“Setsuna Tokage and Kosei Tsuburaba. Although you made it to the top three, I think you two should also take consideration of joining my special training course. Both of you have similar quirk applications to my own. So while you don’t need intensive attention like certain others, I won’t turn a blind eye to those that can best learn how to micromanage and improve their powers under me. Uraraka Ochaco and Tokoyami Fumikage are another such example.” After singling out the top students, you turned your attention back to the others. They almost froze up just like Setsuna and Kosei who were now strongly considering the possibility of learning from Ms. Mantis. “I also offer the chance to learn from me with this crash course to the remainder of the top ten. Unlike the bottom ten where it’s mandatory, you have the choice to take part if you want to improve and become closer to being a true hero.”
>>
>>3979355

“Yes, ma’am.” The top ten students reply, adopting army protocol out of expectation as they brew over the possibility of improving. Judging from your speech it seems like you were already getting to them. As you think this, you turn your emerald gaze towards the bottom ten.

“As for you guys, don’t fret. Think of me as your guiding light on your way to becoming a true hero. In three years I’ll pour into all the experience, knowledge and wisdom that I accumulated over my entire life in the field and polish you rocks into pure diamonds. But for now, let’s worry about the present. Just give me a week if not just three days.” You say, lifting their spirit despite being in military mode.

“Three days?” Neito asks, showing concern at what you were planning.

“Yes, in just three days I’ll make you excel from bottom six to top ten material. I’ll hammer everything you’ll need to become an effective top student in class. No matter how thick your skull is, you will retain these gains and recall them into your well being as if its the same as breathing. And you will not eat, drink or even sleep until you do. Do I make myself clear?!” As you say this your face begin to suddenly be obscured as your hair rises. Your green iris glowing vibrantly as you were reduced to an intimidating silhouette.

“Y-Yes ma’am.” The bottom ten shout, trying to best to hide their terror from your tyrannical presence.

“Excellent, we’ll start training first thing tomorrow before and after school. Make sure to sleep early, I won’t tolerate tardiness or excuses like I’m tired.” You smiled, watching the students nod again as they begin to understand just what they were getting into.

Sorry for the big exposition dump but I felt like it was a good time to show off Mikumo's character and hint on her teachings.

Honestly, I'm going to be surprised if by the time of the final exams if anyone from class 1B doesn't pass with flying colors...or else.

Also, I'm disappointed in myself for just considering Tempress for a hero name. It's the kind of punny wordplay that the eastern market loves.

As soon as class was over you watched the students return to the locker room to change back into their school uniform. You yourself quickly changed back from your superhero costume and returned back to your teacher’s attire. Fashioning your checker tie through your quirk as you did with your clothing prior, your glasses subtly hovers back to your face. Now fully dressed you navigate the rest of the students back to the classroom before the bell ring. Until class was over the rest of the students mingled, leaving you to use your quirk to reheat your coffee precisely how you like it.

Once class was over and the students left in casual order, you were currently alone finishing compiling the footage of Class 1B for the remainder of the faculty to watch. Only once was it completed you followed up by uploading it to a flash drive and sending it to the respected people to handle it. Afterward, you gathered your things and walked away bag in hand towards the teacher’s lounge. It was getting close to lunchtime and after doing a good enough job to meet your high standards, it was only fitting that you treat yourself nice. Some part of you still wants to check up on your baby brother but that’ll have to wait.

Normally this would be the part where you would go out to eat. As the number five hero of japan money wasn’t particularly an issue. Some people even give you free valuables or offer to pay for it much to your self-conscious nature and troubling social skills. You were daddy’s little girl, faults in all. But since it was your first day in the school year your mother Inko Midoriya went out of her way to prepare you a special bento of all your favorite foods. Like Izuku she has been your biggest supporter, she even did the design of the first version of what eventually became your iconic costume. So there was no other option for you but to enjoy the fruits of your mother’s affection and continuous support.

To your luck, as you made your way to the lounge you saw both Toshinori and Shota discussing some things. The two people you were hoping to be there was now at your reach. Without hesitation, you subtly insert yourself to the conversation before conversing with the older pro heroes. Quickly enough they came to an agreement about eating lunch together as one more hero showed up to join you. It was Sekijiro Kan aka Vlad King himself as he recently got done with some important paperwork. Seeing no problem in this you offered Sekijiro to join you and the rest of the party with no complains. Delightfully he agrees as the four of you made your way inside.

The four you comfortably ate lunch while chatting about the current students in between small talk. Despite being the youngest around the four heroes, you made yourself rather comfortable in the discussion. If anything it reminded you of Shiketsu since due to your innate natural talents you managed to skip two grades and join the academy. Being able to converse and chat with people older than you have always been one of your strong talents.

Before long you soon transitioned into looking at the footage for Class 1B first. Unsurprisingly you were complimented by Toshinori and Sekjiro about how you managed to handle the situation and get the students pumped to give it they’re all. Only Shota actually pointed out some concerns as he points out three students weren’t able to fully show their skills. Requiring a separate test that you already set into motion, you took Shota’s feedback to heart and used it as a growing tool to be more prepared. Next came the Class 1A exam to which you watched feverishly. The first student that caught your eye was Kokoro Shibui with her quirk coffee rush, despite a last-second addition she manages to perk your interest as she makes a strong impression at twelveth place.

Strangely seeing Katsuki reach third place made you let out a smug chuckle before catching yourself in the act. Unsurprisingly Momo, Tenya, Fumikage, and Shoto made the top five as they were among the students you acknowledge being just as strong as Class 1B’s top five. Really most of the placement you saw after reviewing the footage for each student didn’t come off being surprising to you. Seeing Saiki and Chihiro take tenth and eleventh respectfully didn’t seem all that shocking given Saiki’s quirk laser face giving him the maneuverability of turning into a beam of energy can provide, and Chihiro’s quirk duplicate letting her mimic any person or thing she sees and/or touches thus being a doppelganger.

Perhaps what was the most concerning was Izuku. As he was otherwise quirkless he held the same problem that Neito shared as his quirk wasn’t applicable to use. Furthermore, despite Shota’s advice effectively kicking Izuku into high gear, he still ended up hurting himself to barely make any sort of hero feet with his quirk. Of course, the damage was far less severe than in the entrance exam but dislocation from 30% was still not exactly something you approved of. Holding in your feeling to breakdown and rant, your eyes look to Hitoshi Shinso. Like a couple of your students, it seems that his quirk wasn’t suited for this kind of stuff so he couldn’t show himself properly. You couldn’t help but worry about him and his current state of mind.

>What do you do?

>Point out Shota’s problems just to be fair while bringing up Hitoshi and Kyoka.

“Ugh...and we spent the week training him too…”You muttered, pressing your head down in defeat.

“Can’t be helped Mikumo, preparing for the test and having the fortitude to take it are two completely different aspects. At the very least he managed to subconsciously retain some aspect of the training and kept the damage to a minimum.“ Toshinori awkwardly smiles, trying to comfort you out of your slump after seeing Izuku do the one thing you didn’t want him to do. “Either way he shows promise and that’s good enough for justifying his place in the academy.”

“Jee I wonder what could’ ve broken his concertation and make him act irrationally.” You tilted your head, giving a rather cold stare to a certain teacher who was unaffected by it. He didn’t even register that you were staring daggers at himself.

“I wasn’t going to fail him because he already showed he didn’t have zero potential. But to make sure if it wasn’t a fluke or not I needed to simulate a similar experience to the entrance exam to teach him a lesson. Also, it was a well time deceptive move used to get the other students serious and not take things for granted.” Shota explains in a rather calming manner. You still shot daggers at him but it was getting rather hard arguing against such a complicated man.

“Lie or not I don’t think it was wise to use that kind of provoking to motivate the students to try their best. Less you want some of them to do reckless stuff to stay in this school. As we saw with today’s test..” You mutter, being just as hard on Shota as he was on you prior. A standoff was brewing between the two of you as Toshinori felt the growing tension in the air.

“I think you two both made your points across fairly and shouldn’t be continuing this debate on who did worse than the other. Take what you both learned from the experience and use it to further improve your teachings. It’s the students who will carry those lessons. So we can’t act carelessly. “Sekijiro spoke, finally breaking his silence and giving some rather insightful wisdom. You pulled your head from the table and look at the older teacher with newfound appreciation before turning back to Shota.

“Whatever. There’s still the case of Kyoka and Hitoshi. Both of which weren’t able to show off their quirks due to their environment not offering them the right conditions to do so. It might be less than myself. Noy to mention someone with quirks that have no business whatsoever in influencing the results like Toru or Denki. So correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it the same as you told me?” You say, remembering to be polite about it as you wanted to get the last bit of concern out of your way before making this day being over.

“Yes Ms. Mikumo, I have already taken into account just how it’ll be hypocritical if I didn’t address the pink elephant in the room. I won’t interfere with what Toshimori has planned for Izuku but I am going to focus on my own method of improving the bottom barrel, especially Hitoshi. Just like I imagine you doing the same for your bottom children.” Shota explains, slightly scratching his head as it seems like a mutual understanding was forming.

Slightly smiling in response you take it to drop your defenses and go back to respecting your fellow colleague.“Well so long as we’re on the same page. Also...thank you Shota.” You bowed.

“What exactly are you thanking me for?” Shota asks, somewhat confused by your sudden action.

“I’m thanking you for restraining Katsuki. Just as I feared seeing Izuku power essentially made the exploding ball of rage and ego set off like...what’s the least offensive word I can say to describe this.” You mention, rubbing your chin in thought. The only words that would describe Katsuki for you were words that a lady like yourself shouldn’t use, much less a teacher.

“A box of dynamite best describes his explosive disorder.” Toshinori and Sekijiro said in unison.

“I can live with that. Still, this might be paranoia talking but it almost feels like you wanted this to happen, Mr. Shota.” You said, turning your eyes away from Shota to focus back on your bento.

“I might have considered that possibility when formulating my strategy for the exam. Both you and Toshinori are dancing around the big picture. Sooner or later Katsuki is going to react and as seen he reacted negatively to it. We can’t tell him the truth nor should we do so. He’s talented so he needs to get over this as soon as possible otherwise it’ll continue to eat at him until he destroys himself in the process.” Shota bluntly admits, setting a rather conflicting mood as he wasn’t wrong but you honestly wish he had more tact than that.

“No comment.” You lamented before going back to eating your bento.

After lunchtime things went rather smooth as the students in class 1B mostly focused on their academics. Despite training to become heroes there was no excuse to ignore the other aspects that are universal in schools. Heroes don’t always do the flashy and thrill-seeking showy super-heroics that the news highlights to the public. Originally heroes were tasked with doing volunteer services, charity work, and neighborhood watch for the betterment of society. While that has changed since then, it was still good if every hero knew the fundamentals of social living.

So as a homeroom teacher, your main job is to serve as both a counselor and administrator to your students. To dedicate how their progression is handled and who should take the mantle. Documenting stuff attendance, relaying information, teaching directly when necessary about the hero business and doing other importation stuff is part of the job but overall you’re an overseer to them. In essence, you were no different than being a school parent. So for the next three years, they’re your responsibility. And you weren’t going to let them down.

That said, it was the first day and after the quirk assortment test, there wasn’t much that needed to be overseen. Thus leaving you rather bored on your skull as you were on the clock. For the remainder of the day, you went through the wire setting up your special crass course and other responsibilities. Still, that just left you with enduring the remaining few hours killing your boredom. As a workaholic, this was especially troubling since you were committed to your job immensely day and night. So having nothing to do was quite the agonizing experience.

Eventually, the school day would come to an end after you refiled the filing case for the hundredth time. Mentally you cried relief as this meant you can finally go home and do anything else. The fact that nobody in your agency called meant that everything was running smoothly. Still, you would prefer any kind of notice than dealing with the agony of not having anything to do. Speaking of things to do, in your view you saw Izuku chatting with some friends.

A quick sigh of relief escapes your mouth as you watch the scene from afar. From what you knew of your brother he always had trouble making friends. Mostly due to his quirkless status, he was often made fun of, but that pales in comparison to his relationship with Katsuki. Really with such threats to your brother always popping up, it’s no wonder why you developed a strong desire to protect and safeguard your brother as his loving big sister. Though some would argue it was a Brother’s complex or an offshoot of your control-freak nature. To which you slam them through walls when you were younger. But that was then and this was now.
>>
>>3982637

Letting him talk long enough with his friends you decide to finally take action. To you, the last straw was hearing Izuku call himself “Deku”, a name that you personally dislike considering that it meant useless. Another reason for your justified dislike if not downright hatred of Katsuki. But what took you off guard was Uraraka’s kindness to your brother. Changing the meaning from useless to “You can do it” was quite the positive impact, way more so than your lecture of telling Izuku to not let your bullies have power over them and to keep fighting.

“S-Sis?! What are you doing here? I thought you already went home.” Izuku mutters, showing signs of jittering as his he awkwardly moves his hands. Tenya and Uraraka was also taken in shock in being around such a celebrity like yourself. To which you shrug it off since it wasn’t the time for that.

“Izuku, we’re going home together. And I’m not taking no for an answer. You already flake me this morning and I’m not letting you do it again.” You declare, pointing fingers at Izuku as you assert your older sibling rights on to him. Izuku, on the other hand, couldn’t bring himself to argue, as he was rather self-conscious about the fact he hurt himself during training.

After seeing him submit you turn your attention to the other two students. “Hello, Ms. Ochako, and Mr. Iida. I hope that today’s trials haven’t worn you down and crush your spirits.”

“Not at all Ms. Midoriya! We have done well to make sure that we’re living up to U.A High’s standards as future heroes!” Tenya exclaims, bowing to you as you found solace in his behavior. It reminded you of fond memories of Shiketsu as you politely nod to him as acknowledgment.

“Yes, Iida is exactly right. Although...truth be told the trial was rather...too intense for our first day at school.” Uraraka mentions, triggering a gloomy look from her and Izuku. Even the proper Tenya was having trouble keeping a straight face despite taking it as a good learning experience.

“Right..I’m sorry for the hardship you have to go through.” You say, petting Uraraka on the head, causing her to blush in response. “Speaking of trials, your quirk is Zero Gravity isn’t it?”

“Y-Yes that’s right It lets me make things weightless by touching them,” Uraraka said, giving a coherent yet short rundown of her quirk as you document it first hand to memory.

“Your quirk operates on a similar field. Though mine is closer to instantaneous telekinetic energies, I have dabbled on the gravity aspect of its origin. So if you ever feel like you need advice or some pointers on how to utilize such a power, feel free to contact me.” You smile at Uraraka, quickly seeing her face light up at the opportunity. Before letting her get the chance to speak, you turn your head to look at Tenya.
>>

“Mr. Iida, you’re also someone I have been keeping my eye on. You might not hear of it but I actually used to work constantly with your older brother Tensei during his younger years. Although we were from different schools he should me through the ropes with no discrimination or any form of hazing. So like with Ms. Ochako, if you ever need any guidance or assistance feel free to call.” You say.

“Not at all Ms. Midoriya, my older brother told me all about the stories of the missions you and he did during your time as a sidekick during your school years.” Tenya smiles, showing eagerness and acceptance at being recognized while bonding over talks with his brother. You only smile as respond before shaking hands with Tenya.

“Well I take it back, you quite well inform Mr. Iida. “As you finish getting what you wanted to say out of the way, you turn your attention back to Izuku as you get near him. “Anyway, Izuku and I have to go, I’m sure you shared your numbers with each other. If not I’ll wait and let you do that. I look forward to you helping my little brother through his years in U.A.” You bowed, causing both students to spill their spaghetti and awkwardly tell you that they weren’t worthy for the number five hero to casually bow to them like this.

After exchanging numbers and leaving on a pleasant note, you and Izuku traveled to your Volkswagen beetle and slowly got inside. There was a sense of awkwardness between the two of you. Being picked up by your older sibling wasn’t anything uncommon but when that sibling was The Universal Hero Tempress, it certainly set off a lot of insecurity and unwanted comparison by others. Although he never once blamed you for being quirkiness or shows signs of being envious that his older sister was the more successful, superpowerful and all in all superior sibling out of the two, well you can understand his own shortcomings as a result.

Using your sharp wits you took a glance at Izuku as he was curled up to the side being quiet and polite. Some part of you was already calculating that he more than likely figured out that you know about what happened in the quirk assortment exam. Despite being quirkless, Izuku was a very intellectual and bright boy, to which you honestly the only thing that holds him back is his naivety and lack of confidence. The striking opposite to yourself when you were younger, although it came with its own problems. Still, you needed to lighten up the mood and ease into what you wanted to talk about without crushing the boy’s heroic spirit.

Thinking about it for just a moment, it quickly came to you exactly what you needed to do. Balling up your lips and moving it into a smile, you keep your eyes on the road as you begin to break the silence. “So, as you already know that I got into U.A. as a homeroom teacher. Of course, I’m only Class 1B’s homeroom teacher so that means I can’t exactly supervise over you for the next three years like Shota can.”

“T-That’s too bad, isn’t it. I know you must have been looking forward to handling quirks that are similar to yours among other things.” Izuku replies, being sharp enough to not point out your brother complex as he was one of the few people who didn’t get flung around like a ragdoll for touching your Achilles Heel. That said, the words of being under your sibling’s shadow still resonate with you as it made this driveby all the more awkward.

Taking a deep breath to calm your nerves, you resume your smile. “Thereby I got to see a lot of different quirks during the quirk assortment exam. Granted some of them I only know from the entrance exam and records but the vast majority of them I personally saw close up in action.”
>>
>>3983905

Almost immediately Izuku’s eyes light up at the mentioning of quirks. If there’s one thing you knew of your little brother more than anything was that he was a fanboy when it came to heroics and quirks. You recall telling him all kinds of quirks you saw since you were in middle school and he was in kindergarten. Your experiences were like storybooks to him as this only became more apparent when you took the role of being a hero and went to Shiketsu High. Even now that didn’t change as you spent your time going into great detail about every quirk. Naturally, Izuku pulled out a notebook and started writing it all down as the two of you bonded over such trivia.

Eventually, after what seemed like forever nerding about the different quirks and heroes you came cross, you finally felt the aura inside the car change. No longer was it was that stifling awkwardness and self-defeating gloom that took over prior. Instead, it was a comfy and warm field representing the two siblings having a typical day. This was much needed for Izuku. Despite having many questions about him, you found it too soon to ask him about it without having him push you away or brushing it off like it was no big deal. Whenever Izuku did that you knew it was far bigger than he made it out to be. Such a selfless knucklehead.

“So I see you becoming quite chummy with that Uraraka girl. Remind me again but she was the one who saved you from your brush with meeting with the pavement. Already reaching girlfriend status, how cute~” You ask, metaphorically jabbing him as you pester him about it.

“T-That’s not it at all! We’re just really good friends and I can’t help but feel indebted to her for assisting me during the entrance exam.” Izuku explains, his face lighting up brighter than Rudolph the red nose reindeer’s shiny nose at your teasing. You only stroke your chin, looking at Izuku before making a smug smile on your face.

“Oho, so she’s a really good friend of yours. Are you sure about that? You were rather flustering quite deeply during your discussion with her and Tenya. Perhaps that’s why you didn’t want to see your big sister much less travel to school with her. Quite different compared to middle school where you froze up when a girl other than me talks to you~.” You tease, playfully bullying Izuku as a childish payback for rejecting you earlier. Naturally, the timid Izuku only squirms against your blitzkrieg assault.
>>
>>3983922

“You’re my sister Miku. It’s different when I talk to you or mom! B-Besides they only found me cute because they essentially thought I was a gender-bent version of you, minus the bubblegum streaks in my hair.” Izuku laments, defending himself rather poorly as you resist the urge to laugh.

“Right, right I’m sorry. Anyway, congrats on graduating from studdering when it comes to talking with girls.” You smile, causing Izuku to burry his face in shame and embarrassment.

Time quickly passes by as you spent your time egging your little brother before going back to the wholesome talks and discussions. Although you may not be his homeroom teacher, that didn’t mean you weren’t able to take part in his heroic academics. Before you knew it you were arriving at the Midoriya residence. Although it wasn’t quite like the extravagance that the fifth most popular hero in all of japan should have, it honestly worked for you. Not only did it keep your humble roots, it provided security and foundation for your family to live off on comfortably. Despite your father still working abroad the new house certainly reduced a great deal of stress to your mother, Inko Midoriya.

Having to catch your flying daughter in her infancy certainly gave way to working out her quirk and developing whether if she wanted to or not. Ultimately she had to change the name from Attraction of Small Objects into the quirk Main Attraction with its greater attraction and repulsion capability. And to think such a thing was only possible thanks to you. considering throughout your rambunctious youth your mother’s quirk adapted and improved in both upper limits, speed, versatility, and precision. As much as you, you honestly owe a lot to your mother and her guidance in helping you manage your quirk Psycho Mantis despite the noteworthy gap.

Speaking of Inko, she was currently doing the dishes after what seem like dinner was made. Both you and Izuku quietly stepped in, listening to your mother humming some tunes from her state of the art walkman device. For a woman of close to middle age, she was rocking like a spring chicken with her thick yet curvy figure. She was no Mitsuki but she still aged rather gracefully especially considering the troublemaker Mikumo and the worrisome Izuku as her children. Judging from her tones, it was highly likely that Inko wouldn’t be able to hear you going to your respective rooms, but you were raised to be polite.

“Mom we’re home.” You said, announcing yourself after taking off your shoes and setting them at the door. Izuku had already done his before joining your call in unison.

“Ah! Welcome home Mikumo and Izuku. Dinner’s already in the pot. We’re having curry tonight with white rice to celebrate your first day at school.” Inko smiles, going as far as to tug you both to her side for one big hug. You brushed it off with a smile as you pet your mother.

“School went great. I managed to show my stuff out there to the homeroom teacher and pass the quirk assortment exam.”

“That’s very good Izuku. I’m so proud-what happened to your finger?!” Inko panics, cutting herself off from her once cheerful and motherly demeanor to a more panicked mess. Izuku naturally stumbled trying to come up with an excuse, leaving you to take charge.

“Don’t worry about it, Izuku just wore himself out using his quirk and ended up hitting himself during locker changing. “ You fibbed, giving Izuku a strong alibi as this was enough to calm Inko down. “Anyway, we can talk about our school day at dinner. I just need to make a phone call first.”
After straightening things out and helping with setting up the table, you were once again alone. Leaving you to your own devices you quickly pulled up your smartphone. Although you accepted yourself to the role of teacher, that didn’t mean you get to slack off on hero duty. As the number five hero, you still needed to micromanage your agency and do your part from time to time. Lucky for them that you inherited your father’s management skills and unfortunate workaholic habits. With a flick of the wrist, you dial up the phone and briefly put on wait before making contact with your agency.

“Talk to me Firehawk. What’s the sitch.” You asked, talking to your number two associate of Mantis Castle.

“Oh hey, Tempress. Just the lady I wanted to see. Anyway, nothing too major has been happening since your departure. All twenty sidekicks are on the move doing their jobs in rescue and recovery. Leaving us pro-heroes tackling with the bigger threats and keeping the crowd safe.” Firehawk explains, once again being quite cheeky to you as you listen on.

“Firehawk, I don’t exactly need you to remind me what my agency’s main focus is on. I just wanted to see if everything is alright.”

“Right, right. Everything is more or less peachy, we got some new cases back at the office if you want to check them out. I know it feels like a slow day but villainry never sleeps.” Firehawk says.

>What do you do?

>Leave it to Firehawk and the others for now and continue spending time with your family.
>Put a pause on talking with your mother and tell you’ll be coming home late
>Commit to a small debriefing for your mom about your day and check over to the office just to observe.

Sorry for the lack of replies, the holiday has been rather busy in keeping my attention limited. I'll get back to this as soon as I can.

No such thing as bad publicity.

I'm going to come back to this at a later day. I have just been planning on where to go forward with this and I ran into a little roadblock. My condolences.

An easy fix is to unleash anons on the students to come up with specialized training plans in order to torment(teach) them properly.
