Saiyans. Were one to travel the stars, they would undoubtedly hear tales of the mighty warrior race. Some speak of them with awe and wonder, marveling at their power and aspiring to become like the mighty warriors. Others speak in hushed tones, of the fear and despair you’d feel facing them in battle. But one thing all agree on, is that standing against the might of the warrior race spells certain doom. Many have tried, several going as far as to invade the Saiyan’s homeworld of New Salda. Yet every invasion has failed, defeated by the Saiyans and their most powerful warriors: the golden Super Saiyans.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest. Currently we are in Age 748, decades before the ‘canon’ events of Dragonball began. Yet this universe is vastly different, as you the players have control of Karn. Once an ordinary Saiyan with a powerlevel of only 2,830, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of not only the might of the Saiyan race, but of the PTO itself known across the universe. Now, as a general of the PTO with a powerlevel of 18,915,500 before transforming, Karn has become the undisputed second in command, only Lord Freeza himself ranks higher.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After defeating one of the M’lurnian magical sentinels, Karn and Aku traveled deeper and deeper into the ruins until they come to the portal. Meeting up with Towa, Aku is able to easily repair the damaged Abyss portal, and even reinforced the chamber it was located in. But after that is done, Karn, Aku, Towa and the kids all come face-to-face with Nashandra, who like Aku is also a shard of the ancient dark creature, Manus. Aku asks you all to leave, and you comply, leaving him to handle his ‘sister’. Using your Instant Transmission, you return to Chaya and the other kids in the armory, taking them with you and leaving the ruins. Returning to the surface, kids and loot in tow, you then gained insight into the true scope of Aku and Nashandra’s power thanks to New Salda’s enhanced awareness. But as we rejoin Karn, a massive, powerful figure has just appeared behind your daughter!

“Chaya! Get down!!” you shout, grasping your Wolf Knight Blade with both hands and leaping. You have no idea how something so powerful snuck up on everyone here, but you’re not letting it get your daughter! “HAAAAA!!”

CLANG

Your sword slams into the being’s massive metallic shield, it trying to stop your attack. But in your Champion form you easily overpower it’s guard, your horizontal swing launching the monster away from your oldest daughter.

“Daddy, wait!” Chaya shouts, you stopping before charging after it again and turning to her. “I summoned it.”
“Wait, what?” you ask her, looking back and forth between her and the heavily-armored metal form. “You brought that thing here?”
“Yeah, see!” she says excitedly, holding up an absolutely massive greatsword. You’d thought your Wolf Knight Sword was impressive, but this sword she’s found is even taller than you. Her holding it reminds you of a certain mercenary you’d met a few times before, you wondering for just a moment about whatever happened to him? “He’s the spirit of my new sword.”
“Wait, it’s a part of your sword?” you ask, Chaya nodding enthusiastically as it quickly vanishes. But you can still faintly sense that being, it’s energy coming from an unfamiliar, spiky ring on her right hand. “Huh, okay. That’s kinda interesting.”

“Right?” she asks, then turns from you to the wide spread of items. “Look! We found a whole lotta stuff for everyone!”
“We helped!” Caulifla shouts excitedly, you seeing her holding a flame. As you look at it, your instincts warn you that the weapon she found is quite dangerous. But she’s holding onto it with her bare hand, the flames not harming her. After a second you remember that’s because her Stand, Triumph, grants her complete immunity to fire. “And I even found you something special Daddy!”
cont
>>
>>4032484
“Oh really?” you ask her, pleasantly surprised. You had told Chaya to gather items for everyone, but you hadn’t thought they’d pick up anything with you in mind. Curiosity aroused, you see that Caulifla’s got one hand behind her back. “What is it?”
“Close your eyes, and hold out your hand!” she says, actually bouncing with excitement. And so you do, switching your sword to your left hand as you close you eyes. You then hold out your hand down towards her, Caulifla positioning your hand just right then placing something in your palm. “Now, open it!”

And you do, revealing the item your daughter had chosen specifically for you. She’s looking up to you expectantly, eager to see what you think.

But what did she pick out for you?
>A golden ring with a small red gemstone on its face; this ring is noticeably warm to the touch and has faint carvings around the stone.
>A silver ring with a large azure stone set in it. While holding it you begin to feel rejuvenated, your weariness slowly fading
>A ring seemingly carved from a single piece of luminous green rock. You feel a slightly disturbing feeling while holding it, as if it should not be
>A golden ring worn smooth by time. Looking closer, you see a small, tear-shaped red gemstone embedded in it.
>An ancient ring so heavily weathered that whatever was once engraved on it’s face is long gone. But while holding it you feel stronger, and ready to take on whatever comes your way
>A pair of matching silver rings with purple gems set in them. Holding these rings, you suddenly feel more powerful than usual
>An amulet made from parts of something, or somethings, that were once living. It almost seems to be staring at you, but while holding it you get the sensation that someone went through a lot of suffering to craft it
>A silver ring made of several intricately-woven bands. You feel an aura of menace about this ring, almost as if it were created for the sole purpose of sowing fear
>A golden medallion with a smooth green gem resting in the middle. You feel that something profound would have to happen for it to break
>A silver ring set with a large, smooth orange stone. While holding it you somehow feel more able to weather whatever danger comes your way

Surprised nobody went for the red tearstone ring. Damage boost when near death is the hallmark of saiyans already, so that would have been impeccable. But I'm not complaining.

>>4032587
Bonus only occurs when near death, if we are pushed to that point beyond our stamina, we got bigger problems.

I'm late yo the party but what does the green ring do?

It might be a chloranthy ring (increases stamina recovery) but I don't think so considering it didn't mention the flower design. I don't recognize it otherwise.

“An old ring?” you ask her, peering at the ring’s face. Looking closer, you can’t make out whatever was once on it. But after studying the ring’s face for a moment, you slide the artifact on your right hand’s first finger. Surprisingly the ring actually fits you perfectly, as if this relic was made for you. But as you settle it on your finger, for just a moment you feel dozens of beings’ gazes upon you. You can’t sense any new ki, and your instincts aren’t warning you of imminent danger, but somehow you know those beings were all watching you approvingly. You look around but see nothing, and after a moment the feeling goes away.

“Daddy?” she asks, seemingly confused. “You okay?”
“Huh? Yeah, I’m fine.” you say, distractedly. “Did you feel that?”
“Feel what?” she asks, tilting her head.
“Nevermind.” you say, kneeling and grabbing your daughter in a bear hug. You carefully avoid her new sword, as grabbing fire seems like a bad idea. Unlike her, you aren’t immune to fire. “Thanks Caulifla, I like it.”
“I’m glad!” she shouts hugging you back. Her arms can’t wrap around you, but that doesn’t stop her from trying her best anyways. “C’mon, come look what we got everyone!”
“Alright kiddo, what did you find?” you ask, letting her go and rising back to your feet. But as you both turn back to everyone, you see Meloka holding a rather plain-seeming pair of weapons. “Hey hun. What’re those?”

“They seem like some powerful relics.” she says, spinning both in her hands once. You watch as she focuses her ki, dozens of her sharp ki needles sprouting from the round heads. “Ooh. Now that’s interesting.”
“Glad you like it!” Koruza says to her, then asks. “What do you think of yours?”
“I like it.” you say, smiling and ruffling your kid’s white hair. “Did you help pick it out?”
“Yeah! There’s a buncha magic rings, enough for everyone!” he says excitedly. ”So we got everyone weapons and some magic rings too!”
“Good job.” you tell him, Meloka vanishing for a moment. When she returns, the rest of your kids are all with her. They see everyone there, eyes lighting up as they see the spread of ancient M’lurnian relics.

But what do you do now?

“Woah!” Milha says, your half-demon daughter’s eyes lighting up.
“Cool!” Tatsu and Tomi shout together, rushing over. But your twins are stopped by Chaya herself, your oldest daughter holding them back. “Hey!”
“Now hold on you two.” Chaya gently scolds them, carrying the both of them back to her mother. “You gotta wait your turn. And your sister Milha goes first.”
“Awww.” they say, still perfectly in-sync. “Okaaaay.”
“Hey sis, come over here.” Koruza calls out, Milha walking over curiously. You can see she’s excited, but also trying to appear cool and collected. As she approaches him, Koruza picks up a sword with some odd etchings on the blade. “Look what I found for you!”

“A sword?” she asks, grasping it by the hilt and looking it over for a few moments before turning back to him. “But why this?”
“I’m still really bad at magic.” he says, but despite his self-depreciation seems really excited. “But focus your magic into it! It’s super cool!”
“Okay...” she says, and as you all watch Milha’s new sword begins to glow with faint blue light. “Oh?”
“No way, how did I miss that?” Chilli asks, rushing over to her curiously. “That sword is a magical focus? That’s so cool!”
“That’s not all!” Chilli says, dashing over to one of the seven-fingersd hands. He rifles through them a moment, then comes back with something in a hand. You assume it’s another ring, and when Chilli backs off you see your guess was half-right. On her right hand are now two rings, one is a blue, almost crystal-like band. While the other seems to be shaped like a clawed hand, holding a small blue gemstone. “Well? Whaddya think?”

“This is great!” she says, cool facade breaking as she hugs her brother. But after a few moments she collects herself, once becoming more proper. “Thank you.”
“Of course!” he says excitedly, Milha’s gaze quickly turning back to her newly-acquired gear.
“Alright, now it’s your turn!” Chaya says to her twin siblings. “Now wait here, and close your eyes.”
“C’mon, hurry up!” Tomi says impatiently. Chaya rushes over to the weapons, quickly grabbing a pair of double-ended swords then rushing back.
“Alright, open ‘em!” Chaya says excitedly, your oldest twins seeing what was chosen for them. “Ta-da!”

>>4032955
“Cool!” little Tatsu says, holding the double-bladed weapon in awe
“No way!” Tomi shouts, eyes gleaming as she takes in her new weapon. As you look at them, you notice the light reflects differently off the blades, as if they’re made from a different metal from the rest. But Tatsu and Tomi waste no time, both swinging their blades at each other. But instead of smashing into each other, they both crash into one of Meloka’s spherical mace heads.
“Hold on. Don’t start that here.” Meloka says with a gentle reprimand, both Tatsu and Tomi backing off. But a moment later Chaya rushes back between them, holding out a pair of magic rings in one hand.
“Come get these too.” Chaya says, both rushing over and grabbing one. But as they pull the two rings apart, something unexpected happens.

“Woah!”
“What the hell?”
“Shit!”
“No way!”

Everyone shouts out in surprise as a bolt of lightning shoots between both rings. Your own jaw drops, and after several seconds another bolt of lighting again jumps between them.

“Isn’t that cool?” Chaya asks. “If you both wear them and fight something, the lightning will zap them!”
“Well, that’s different.” you mutter, seeing why she’d pick those rings out for the twins. They’re amazed by the rings, both immediately trying to catch the lightning bolt that jumps between them every few seconds. It seems they’ve almost forgotten about their new swords, so preoccupied by they lightning coming from those rings. But while everyone’s watching the lightning, once more the ground rumbles beneath your feet and reminds you what’s going on below the planet’s surface.

But what do you do now?
>Telepathically reach out to King Vegeta, let him know what’s going on down in the ruins
>Telepathically reach out to Aku, see if there’s any way you can help him

“Hey, Vegeta. Can you hear me?” you reach out telepathically to the King of the Saiyans. He needs to know what’s going on, even if you can’t help Aku.
“Karn?” he replies after a couple of moments. “I felt something just now, was that you?”
“The planet shaking?” you ask him. “No, that’s not me. We may have a problem.”
“A problem?” he asks you, his voice coming in slower than usual. “What now? More Time Patrol?”
“No, not them.” you reply, then add. “At least not yet. But Aku has a sister. And they’re trying to kill each other down in the ruins.”
“Wait, what?” he asks, even more concerned.

“Apparently, Aku is part of an ancient being who was killed by my very sword long ago.” you explain. “But when it died, it’s pieces were scattered across the universe. And over time, each one eventually came to life.”
“Wait, what?” he asks, now even more confused. “So Aku’s only part of something?”
“Yeah, and he’s now fighting another part of himself below in the ruins.” you say. “We gotta keep everyone out of the ruins until that fight’s done.”
“Alright, I’ll send some of the Guard over.” he says, you feeling his weariness through the telepathic link. Suddenly you’re worried about him, reaching out with your ki sense and focusing on him. His ki is still quite higher than yours, and feels like he’s still transformed. But it’s nowhere near where it was before, his strength has dropped considerably. Has...has he been up since the battle?

“Wait, Vegeta.” you think to him with concern. “Have you not slept yet? Have you been awake since the battle ended?”
“Uhh, well, I guess I have.” he replies, uncertainly. “There’s been so much to handle...”
“King Vegeta, go get some rest.” you order him. “The rest will still be there when you get up.”
“But-“ he says, you interrupting him.
“No buts Vegeta.” you tell him sternly. “Get your rest. If you can’t think straight, you can’t lead. Everyone can handle things while you go get some rest. That’s an order, my king.”
“I...Alright. I’ll go.” he replies. “If anything happens, let me know.”
“I will, now go get some rest.” you tell him, Vegeta ending the telepathic link. But as he does, you suddenly see a blue light engulfing Caulifla. You blink several times, wondering if you took a hit to the head recently as her entire body freezes in place. “Caulifla?”

But what do you do?

“Caulifla?” you ask her, concerned. But she doesn’t seem to hear you, or if she can she’s unable to move. So as everyone begins shouting in surprise you again focus, trying to reach her out telepathically. “Caulifla? Can you hear me?”
“Daddy?” she asks you, you feeling her confusion. “Where am I? Where did everybody go? Why am I blue?”
“Go?” you ask her confused. “What do you mean, you’re still standing right here with us kiddo. Can’t you move?”
“Huh? But I’m jumpin’ up an’ down!” she replies, her body still clearly not moving. What the hell is going on? “And everybody’s gone! I can’t sense any-wait, someone’s coming this way!”
“Caulifla, where are you?” you ask her, suddenly even more worried for her. “Who’s coming?”
“Gotta go Daddy, that jerk’s throwing fire around!”
“Caulifla? Caulifla?!” you try to think to her, but her mind’s closed off. Dammit, she’s not answering anymore. “Towa. What the hell is going on?”

“I’m not sure, this energy feels very unfamiliar.” she says, studying the deep blue aura surrounding your daughter closely. “I’ve never felt anything quite like this before.”
“It’s that amulet.” Chilli says, pointing with his crystalline blade right towards her chest. Following his blade, you see she’s wearing an unfamiliar silver pendant. It looks like a sword resting on an ornately-designed crescent moon; and while you can’t sense magic, looking at it your instincts warn you that that emblem is dangerous. “She just put it on, then a few moments later this strange energy engulfed her.”
“Where have I seen that emblem before?” Towa wonders aloud, studying it as Chaya turns to you, worriedly.

“Daddy, Auntie Towa, what can we do?” Chaya asks you, looking back and forth between you two. “We gotta save her!”
“What can we do?” Chilli asks Milha, both magically-inclined children muttering back and forth between each other. Meloka’s fuming, holding both of her new maces in white-knuckled fists. But she’s restraining herself, knowing she can’t yet do anything to help. Chaya’s still very worried, Tatsu and Tomi are still trying to catch the lightning bolts from their rings. Towa, Chilli, and Milha are all studying Caulifla intently, your children both trying to figure out a way to break her free.

All choices are just as valid, and it would be hypocritical of Karn to do something that he knows (because his experience with IT) might make things worst after drilling responsability into Chaya and being reprimanded by Meloka and Towa so many times.

“Caulifla, we’re all here trying to find a way to get you out.” you tell her telepathically. “But even Towa has no idea what’s going on here. So I’m going to try something kiddo. Can you transform for me?”
“Transform? Sure.” she replies, and to your surprise nothing changes about her. “Does that help?”
“Let me see.” you reply, trying to focus your ki sense through your telepathic link to use Instant Transmission. You can sense her right beside you, but despite straining as hard as you can, you sense nothing through the link. Well, saying nothing would be a lie, as for a single instant you felt something. Whatever she’s out there fighting, it’s strong. Even as a Super Saiyan, whatever she’s fighting is far stronger than her. This isn’t good, you have to get her out of there! “Still nothing. Are you okay?”

“Yeah!” she replies excitedly. “There’s a really big funny-lookin’ guy here tryin’ to fight me with his big sparky sword that’s even bigger than Chaya’s! He’s all red and glowy an’ stuff, but his funny-lookin’ mask doesn’t scare me!”
“Be careful kiddo.” you tell her, even more concerned. But you’re not the only one who’s worried.
“Sis come back!” Chaya shouts, reaching out to grab Caulifla. And to everyone’s shock, Chaya goes straight through her as if she isn’t really there! “Whaa-?!”
“Chaya!” Broly shouts, catching his sister before she can fall onto the weapon pile. “You okay?”
“Brrrr!!” she says, clutching her arms to herself and shivering. “So cold!”
“Towa, what the hell is going on?” Meloka seethes, furious she can’t help. “Where’s Caulifla? Where’s my little girl?”

“Not where. When.” Towa says, staring hard at her scrying orb. “She’s been transported to the past.”
“Then let’s go.” you reply, dropping the Champion form as you prepare to go whenever your little girl’s gone. “What are we waiting for?”
“Access.” she says, sounding just as frustrated as you are. “I’m trying to find her, but it’s not going well. She could be anywhere across all of history.”
“Dammit!” you mutter, unable to remember the last time you’d felt so helpless. Despite all your power, and everything you can do, you can’t help your little girl when she’s in danger. You just have to trust in her, and all the training you’ve given her. You have spent years training your little girl for just such an occasion: you know that she can at least defend herself.

“I did it, I got him!” she suddenly shouts to you telepathically. “I saved a knight! He was bein’ bullied by a big jerk in shiny armor, and I burned him away!”
“You won?” you ask her telepathically, then immediately follow up. “Of course you won. Great job kiddo.”
“Hehe, I-oh, what’s this?” she says, and as you watch the blue aura begins fading. As you watch your daughter it quickly begins fading from around her body, everywhere except for her left hand. But once it’s faded elsewhere the light in her left hand changes, becoming-wait, is that an ear? What? “Wait, I’m back?”
“CAULI!!” Chaya shouts, tackling her sister to the ground. Caught by surprise, Caulifla’s sword is sent flying from her hand. Almost as if by reflex you reach out and catch it, keeping the flying fire blade from striking anyone. But as you hold it your own hand begins burning after a moment, you thrusting it into the ground. “I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU!!”
“An ear?” Tanya says confused, the young soldier having caught it as it was knocked from Caulifla’s hand. “But why though?”

“Caulifla, thank goodness you’re okay.” Meloka says, your wife now holding both her girls in her iron grip. “I was so worried about you.”
“We’re all glad you’re back.” Towa says, reaching out and grabbing the silver chain her new amulet is attached to. But almost as soon as she does, Towa flinches and recoils. “Ah! Damn!”
“Mother, what’s wrong?” Maza asks her worriedly, your gaze going from your daughter to Towa.
“Divine energy.” Towa hisses, you raising a brow in confusion. “That amulet was blessed by something with godly energy long, long ago. Most of the magic has faded, but there’s more than enough still left for it to function.”
“Divine?” you ask her confused. “You mean like those forms Ace uses?”

“Well, yes and no.” she replies. “It is the same type of energy, but this came from a being that had been divine for a long time. Also, for that being’s magic to still exist, it would have to have been worshiped for at least an Age, if not several.”
“Really?” Caulifla asks, ‘hrmm’ing curiously as he begins thinking furiously. But for now your daughter is safe, and that’s what matters.

But what now?

“Alright, is everyone ready?” you ask, your family all turning to you confused. But Future Chaya is the first to speak up, clearly confused.
“Ready?” she asks you. “Ready for what?”
“It’s time to go to the city.” you say, casually pointing to it with your ancient sword. “The battle’s over, but that doesn’t mean everything’s magically back where it goes. Now let’s go and see what we can do to help.”
“I think that’s a rather good idea.” Towa says with a smirk, then to her own children. “After all, these Saiyans are still your people.”
“Understood.” Maza says with a serious nod, turning to his younger siblings. “You both ready?”
“Ready!” both Milha and Koruza reply as one.
“C’mon, let’s go!” Chaya shouts, letting go of Caulifla to pump a fist. “We got friends to save!”
“Yeah!” your fully-Saiyan kids all shout out in excitement. “Let‘s go!”

And as one, all your kids blast off the ground at full speed towards the city. This leaves you, Towa, Meloka, and Future Chaya all still standing around.

“Well then, General.” Towa says, teasing you about your title. “After you.”
“Alright, follow me.” you say, lifting into the air as well. The four of you follow the quickly-fading trails your kids had left, arriving at the city only a few moments after they do. But you see that they have already stepped in, your kids knocking down the unstable structures and getting anyone still trapped inside out where Caulifla’s Triumph can heal them.
“Looks like they’ve gotten right to it.” Meloka says with a smile. “Oh, hey there. You’re looking better.”
“That’s all thanks to your little girl.” a familiar-looking woman Saiyan says. Kabuya, that’s what her name is. “Her magic fixed me right up.”
“Glad to see that.” Meloka tells her. “What’s everything looking like down here?”
“Well, thankfully, our side’s fatalities were kept to a minimum.” she says, pointing out several of the more heavily-damaged areas. “There’s still more than a few areas we haven’t yet gotten around to, especially with so many still down from the fighting. But it looks like they’ll be helping with that.”

“Of course.” you say easily. “After all, this is their home too. So they should do their part to help take care of it.”
“Well said Drago-I mean Karn.” she says, blushing slightly in embarrassment at using your nickname, ‘The Dragon of New Salda’. “But there’s still more to do. Especially on the northeastern-“

BOOM

“Oh hell, what’s going on now?” you mutter, turning towards the northeastern corner if the city where the blast came from. Can’t you ever catch a break?

The dude on the right has a 'blessing' which gives him insane regeneration, which doesn't consume his energy at all to use (a detail that actually gets exploited by cannibals in the story). He was set on fire by someone with a blessing that lets them ignite things with flames that never go out until what they touch has completely burnt to ash, which unfortunately for him isn't strong enough to overtake his regeneration. Naturally, this fire spreads to anyone he touches now.
That tree is someone else with a blessing, but their situation is...kind of fucking convoluted, so I don't think I could accurately explain it.

Soon a very important question will be answered: where has Camali been?
>>
>>4034023
Reaching out with your ki sense, you’re surprised to feel a certain power from the area of the blast. But it’s several magnitude stronger than you’ve ever felt before, and without hesitation you dash right over to the ground beside your camel, Camali.

“What’s going on?” you ask the former champ, Camali simply nodding his head slightly to acknowledge your presence. But he remains glaring at something else, someone partially obscured by the blast’s aftermath. “Hey, you! What the hell, why did you attack my friend?”
“Karn? Damn.” you hear an odd, feminine voice call out. But as the dust begins thinning out, you see a familiar cloaked form. It’s the one from your ship! “And here I wanted to escape before you found me. But your damn camel’s caught me again.”
“Wait, again?” you ask, glancing between the cloaked figure and Camali. “What the hell, you let her get away from you before?”

“And now I must take my leave. Farewell, Karn!” the cloaked woman says, lifting an arm. For a single instant you feel a tremendous amount of ki gathering, but before she can unleash her attack, Camali moves. Or at least he had to have moved; one moment he was to your right, and the next he’s standing directly behind that sneak’s right shoulder. She senses him back there, twisting backwards as suddenly a black chitinous blade springs forth from her sleeve. But Camali isn’t so easily hit, ducking the blade and slamming his head square into the cloaked form. His hardened skull slams right into the figure’s body just under it’s outstretched, the cloaked form wheezing as you hear a crunch that leaves you wincing. His blow knocks the cloaked form back a couple of steps, but somehow it isn’t quite powerful enough to knock this mystery foe down.

“You damn camel!” it snarls, but after a moment freezes, seemingly studying you both at the same time. “Tch. First this pest, and now Karn himself. Of all the people I didn’t want to catch me.”
“Then you shouldn’t have made so much noise.” you reply, taking your fighting stance.
“That was him!” she shouts in frustration, pointing at Camali. “If this bastard hadn’t found me and made such a damn racket, I would already be on a ship headed off of your damn planet for good by now!”

Wait, that blast was from Camali? He must have known he wasn’t able to capture her on his own, and was hoping someone would come to help him. But how long has he been hunting her?

But what do you do now?
>Rush and attack, Djem So it down with your Wolf Knight Sword

“Well now, you’re not going anywhere.” you say, thrusting your sword deep into the ground then taking your unarmed stance. “I’m taking you down.”
“Sorry, but not today.” it says, taking a crouching stance with it’s right arm blade held defensively between you. As you stand off with the being, it’s concealing robe twitching in ways a normal humanoid being’s body would be impossible to do, you begin feeling slightly worried. After all, you have no real idea what this being is, or what it’s capable of. But as you feel Camali’s ki is still more than a magnitude higher than yours, you decide to take no chances.

“HRAAA!” you roar, exploding off the ground at your foe as you transform into a Super Saiyan. Your power surges, green aura flaring to life around you as you cross the distance between you near-instantly. The hooded form swings her blade at you, but by flipping yourself backwards you dodge the razor’s edge. And as you flip back you kick up with your right, foot connecting the hooded form’s head and launching her airborne. But you aren’t done, landing on your feet and instantly kicking yourself airborne as well. You close the distance as it reorients itself on you, punching for your chest with it’s left. However you’ve already seen this trick, twisting your body clockwise. As you do, this time another chitinous blade shoots from it’s left sleeve, seemingly identical to it’s right blade. You narrowly avoided another attack, slamming a hard left jab into the attacker’s exposed gut.

Something crunches beneath your fist, but this sneak doesn’t wheeze out like someone who’d just had the wind knocked out of them. Instead it tries to stab you through the left eye with it’s right arm blade, you continuing the Su Ma movement and twisting around the sharp blade. Not wasting the openings you’d just made, you continue spinning and slam a hard right backfist to the back of this fighter’s head, and a quick follow-up kick with your left. Your legs crashes into your foe’s back, sending it crashing back down to the ground.

“KYAA!!” it cries out as it smashes down, kicking up another cloud of dust. But you’re not letting it get away, dropping down into the obscuring cloud.
“You can’t hide from me.” you say, feet touching the ground as you search with both your eyes and ki sense. Where is-there! To your left, more towards the center of the crater, you see the hooded form slumped on the ground, mostly obscured by the duet. But as you prepare to approach it, your instincts suddenly scream at you that you’re in serious danger!
cont
>>
>>4034903
“Guh!” you wheeze, as you suddenly feel a sharp pain in your gut. Looking down in shock, you see that some sort of tail has come up from the dust and stabbed you! Where did that come from?
“Poor little Saiyan.” the cloaked figure taunts, tossing aside the cloak to reveal the tail’s source. Pale flesh merging with black chitin, your opponent seems to be some bizarre hybrid of the Hive’s monsters and a humanoid, pulling its tail free of your gut with a spray of blood. “Looks like this is as far as you go.”
“Oh yeah?” you reply, clamping your right hand over the wound. It didn’t hit anything too vital, you’ve survived worse than this back before you had your own ship. “I’m not done just yet.”
“My poison is already entering your bloodstream as we speak.” it taunts, taking a menacing crouching stance. “Within about thirty seconds from now your body will be entirely paralyzed, leaving you unable to move and allowing me to make my escape.”
“Oh really?” you reply, taking a deep breath and focusing. Breathing out as you focus your Hamon, you feel something being forced out of your blood. The venom sprays out from between your fingers along with more blood as whatever poison she injected you with is expelled. That could have been bad. “You sure about that?”

“Talk all you want, it’s about all you can do now.” this monster taunts, not leaving it’s defensive posture as the dust continues to settle. “And as soon as you can’t move, I’ll make my escape.”

Well, what now?

“That’s some big talk from someone who got smacked around by a camel.” you taunt, the Hive warrior’s eye twitching. “But what the hell is your Queen thinking? We have an alliance that-“
“That alliance you weaklings had was with the old queen.” it says, smirking and standing a little taller. “But she has passed on, consumed by our young new queen. It is her will that drives us now, her desire to rule over the entire universe.”
“Well aren’t you ambitious.” you reply relaxing your stance into a slightly more comfortable position. After all, you’ll have to sell this convincingly. “But it’s too bad your new queen doesn’t have a brain; now that you’ve broken the treaty we’ll have to exterminate yo-!”

And you freeze in place, jaw slightly agape. You begin looking around furiously, as if panicked, trying your best to sell the lie that you’re still poisoned. If you can convince it that it’s poison worked, you’ll have a much easier time taking this thing down.

“So, it finally took effect?” the Hive infiltrator asks, slightly lowering it’s guard and creeping closer to you. “Such a shame I must leave you here. The Queen wants your power for herself, but I can’t take you with me.“

It stalks over to you, running the edge of one of her blades gingerly down your left cheek.

“If only I could sneak you away.” she mutters to herself. “The queen would be so pleased.”
“Why leave?” you ask, slamming your left fist straight through the Hive assassin’s chest and punching out it’s back. It’s mouth drops open, staring down at your arm in shock.
“But..How?” it asks you, it’s acidic blood covering your arm and dripping to the ground. You wince as it burns your left arm, you pulling free of the imminent-corpse. Focusing your ki, you blast the acid off of you as the Hiveling falls to the ground, reaching into the sky. “My...Quee...”

Then the Hive monster’s arm drops down to the ground, it laying there unmoving.

“Damn.” you mutter, shaking your head. But then you hear voices and footsteps, turning your head to the sound.
“Over here!” Polnareff shouts, he, Jotaro and Joseph all rounding a corner. But as they see you, and more importantly what’s by your feet, they all slide to a stop. “Mercí!”
“OOOH MYYYY GAAAWD!!” Joseph shouts out comically.

What do you do now?

“Freeza!” you reach out telepathically. “Please tell me you’re up, we’ve got a problem.”
“Karn? What’s wrong?” Freeza asks you. “Don’t tell me; someone else attacked?”
“Well...” you start, almost able to see Freeza’s eyes rolling.
“I’ll be there in a moment, try not to start another war.” Freeza replies, ending the link.
“Karn, is that-?” Polnareff asks you, looking between you and the killed Hiveling. “Is that what I think it is?”
“Yeah.” you say with a sigh. “It is.”
“Karn.” Joseph says to you, suddenly really serious. “I apologize. If our ship hadn’t brought them here, these monsters wouldn’t be on your world.”

“No, this one wasn’t your fault.” you say, turning back to the creature. “I made absolutely sure everything on your ship besides us was dead. But we have a bigger problem.”
“Hrmm?” he asks, before Freeza dashes to a stop beside you. Jotaro’s Star Platinum braces himself as it catches Polnareff and Joseph, while you put a foot down on the Hive being’s arm to keep it from being blown away. Freeza’s only in his first form, but his arrival was still swift enough to create a powerful shockwave.
“General Karn.” Freeza says, all businesslike in front of the Stand users. “So, what’s the problem?”
“L-Lord Freeza.” Polnareff says, unconsciously taking a step back from Freeza. You see him out of the corner of your eye, but both Joseph and Jotaro don’t retreat.
“This.” you say, lifting your foot off the corpse. “Guess who’s back?”
“Really?” Freeza says, glaring at the corpse. “But why now?”

“She said something about having a ‘new queen’.” you say, Freeza turning fully towards you curiously. And as he does, he notices the wide stab wound you’re still holding shut with your right hand. His eyes widen, looking up to meet yours. “And according to this one, she’s aiming at taking your title of the universe’s ruler.”
“Well if she thinks she can take my birthright...” Freeza mutters, for a single instant his aura flares golden around him. But he picks up the Hive assassin’s body with telekinesis, crushing it. The body’s acid splashes out on the ground, sizzling as it eats away at the ground. He then turns to you, smirking maliciously. “Then she can try her best to come and take it!”

QM QUESTIONS

Has everyone enjoyed this little mini-arc to start this one off? Ready to see Towa and your half-demon kids off back to their own time, and get back to your job of eliminating opponents of Freeza and the PTO? And what are you wanting to do about your whole ship situation? Do you want your ship repaired, and returned to service? Want another, perhaps larger ship from Arctus’s reactivated Droid factory? Or perhaps even restoring the late Guardian’s antique ship, and using it?

It has been a treat to write, especially Koruza and Caulifla. And no, Towa will need to take them back soon. And yes, but you’re not the only one who’s been getting stronger.
>>4035889
If you had schematics and he had several hundred factories reactivated, then perhaps? But as of right now, pic related is the largest ship he could produce. And just because he isn’t personally at his factory, that doesn’t mean it isn’t still operating
>>
>>4035906
Quick rundown for anybody who doesn't know what that is.
>3.4 Kilometers in length
>3.0 Kilometers in width
>1.0 Kilometers in height/depth
>Maximum speed of 500km/hr under primary thrusters
>Hyperdrive capable
>Full energy shield array
>Hyperdrive capable
>Approximately 1500 individual Turbo-Laser batteries
>Can hold a small army's worth of troops and vehicles
>Only needs about 200 crew members to be ran properly
And all that is just what you get out of the factory.
Imagine the mods we could slap on this fucker with all that extra room.
Can we get a compliment of B-1's or B2's to go with it?
>>
>>4035906
I’d be down to commission one of those. Get some droids to fill out the troop role and we’d be set.

Fuck no, I want our kids to keep playing in the sun training with us than sit in that hideout anymore.
>Do you want your ship repaired, and returned to service? Want another, perhaps larger ship from Arctus’s reactivated Droid factory?
Considering we are about to go exterminate some bugs, it would be a nice idea to keep our old ship, as our crew, or what's left of them, knows it inside out better than anyone in the galaxy, and would reduce the chances of a hugger getting onboard and ganking the crew. On the other hand, CIS ships had some really nice firepower, and while it's new, our crew can train the new guys quickly in the time frame we have before we smash some insects, and we would have more guards on hand to protect everyone while we are blowing shit up.
>Or perhaps even restoring the late Guardian’s antique ship, and using it?
His home has the right to the peace it has now, its a fitting gravestone for our teacher.
>>4035889
Way to much, we would never in a million years need something like that.
>>4035906
....this could work amazingly, and if we get our own attachment of droids to help the living pilots and security, that would be fucking perfect backup for any situation baring Beerus knocking on our windshield. I mean apparently the whole EU is non-canon enough for Kathleen Kennedy to just outright ignore it and say "There's no source material. We don't have comic books. We don't have 800-page novels." with a straight face.
That said, George's actual "solo" stuff (the Prequel Trilogy) remains largely intact after the sequels shat everything up. Not to mention it's also held up by some of the best parts of the EU.

>leave that thought to Chaya
She found something. But will Raditz like it?
>>
>>4041404
Of course not. It's not like he likes her or anything.
>>
Ya know, now that we have a ring that makes our fist fighting relevant again, I think it's time to start training with Camali seriously.
We haven't even gotten him to show his true power after all, and we're several orders of magnitude stronger then we were when we sparred the first time.
I'm also almost certain he's learned something from the kids.
>>

She got him Her virginity and A ring of iron protection, that way if he's got both that and he's wearing his armor it will be totally safe to bone, right????

Not likely, as he never visited the M’lurnian civilization. Unless they somehow have a weapon/artifact from a more ancient time.

I don't see why he wouldn't given how he's an incarnation of Manus.
Speaking of that, is it a good idea to broach the subject of the Broken Pendant with him? Hell, he'd probably want to know everything about our time in the Abyss.

Unless she tried to use it, no.

He’d be glad at least one version found it, and kept it safe.
>>4044204
The Thievious Racoonus is arrogant, not stupid. He would never try to steal from the Zoldyck’s estate, much less from someone even they can’t sneak up on. It is widely-known across the universe’s underbelly that Zeno himself cannot sneak up on Karn. This is his thank you for saving Silva from the brothers, and protecting Emilia during the Lin Kuei feud.
>>
>>4044242
>Zeno taking the hit to get people to not waste our time with assisted suicide
He is a true bro, he should come visit some time. Though I wonder how he would react to our skill only reacting to hostile intent, and not someone trying to sneak away.
>The Thievious Racoonus is arrogant, not stupid.
That's the name of the book dude, the Cooper Gang is the bros Sly runs with, and I wouldn't say they were arrogant. Speaking of, did his dad die this timeline, or is he dead and Sly, Murry, and Bently off on adventures?
>>
>>4043186
Lifedrain is the art of forcefully absorbing another’s humanity, so I can’t see it being too difficult for Aku to develop the technique even if he hasn’t already.
He can innately do it, after all.
>>
>>4044254
did his dad live*
>>
>>4044254
>He is a true bro, he should come visit some time.
Heh.
>Though I wonder how he would react to our skill only reacting to hostile intent, and not someone trying to sneak away.
He’d realize it’s an instinct, and not an actual skill. Karn isn’t the first he’s met like this, but is the first who found him before he struck.
>That's the name of the book
I know. But that’s also a pretty cool title for him. And I meant Cooper himself is arrogant, not so much for Murray and Lt. Bentley.
>>4044265

Good question. Who knows?
>>
>>4045272
Will King Cold adopt us if Frieza dies?
>>
>>4045272
>Drinking their essence to make yourself stronger, that is the way of the Void.
That's pretty much every human in Dark Souls. Ya know, taking somebody's soul/essence/humanity and binding it to yourself for more power.
It makes sense I guess since human is implied to have come from the Dark, or at least have some innate connection to it.
Kaathe is 100% in the right and it fucking sucks.
>>
>>4045368
>if Freeza dies
He’d probably blame you for not saving him.
>>4045398
Yes. Gods were to fire, as Mankind was to Dark.
>>
>>4045638
>He’d probably blame you for not saving him.
Karn would probably blame himself just as much.
>>
>>4045272
>And I meant Cooper himself is arrogant,
I mean, not really, foolhardy, but not really arrogant, he rarely took things seriously enough to make it arrogant, and when he is serious it's when shits going down and he knows if he fucks up everything goes to shit. And usually, baring some plot hook hitting his shins, he can pull of what he does, proving he is the best at what he does. Arrogant would be talking mad shit an thinking their hot shit, and falling on their face, like Main/TFS Vegeta. When Sly talks shit, it's usually just to piss off whoever he's talking/flirting with at that time, and or baiting them to do something as part of his plan.
>But that’s also a pretty cool title for him.
I mean, not really, I don't see him using his family's Book of Secrets as a name and putting that kind of info out there if he doesn't have too. Plus it makes it all about himself, and leaves his friends out, unlike the name they made when in the orphanage, and he would never do anything like that on purpose.
>>
>>4045638
>He’d probably blame you for not saving him.
Jokes on him, we'd probably be at deaths door and on our way to see him, and since he's weaker than us, fat lot of good he could do if something did come along to pull that off.
>>4045659
This too, on the off chance we live through whatever makes that happen.
>>
>>4045982
>Arrogant would be talking mad shit an thinking their hot shit, and falling on their face
That would be overconfidence. Overconfidence is the false estimation of ones own abilities. Arrogance is the idea that one is superior. Vegeta happens to have both qualities. Sly certainly thinks he's a phenomenal thief. And he's right.
>>
>>4045987
>This too, on the off chance we live through whatever makes that happen.
We already saw that timeline. Ask Future Chaya.
>>
>>4045987
Protip: that was literally the future chaya timeline< everyone died before karn and he went down saving his daughter, and taking out the head of the covenant in a fuck heug battle.
>>
>>4046354
IIRC Bad Future Karn basically just rushed the Arbiter's fleet in Ascended and self destructed. Still badass and a proper fuck you.
>>
>>4045659
If not more.
>>4045982
You’re mistaking arrogant for being a bad thing. He’s good at what he does, and he Knows it.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 116 Epilogue-

AGE 748, NEW SALDA

“Dammit Aku. You’d better come out of this alright.” Karn says, the young Saiyan man not happy about leaving you alone. “You’d better win.”
“Do not worry about me.” you say, trying to appear as confident as possible. “I shall end this quickly.”
“Good luck.” Karn’s alternate-timeline daughter Chaya says, and then they’re gone. Now it’s just you, and your sister Nashandra. You are Aku; the master of masters, the shogun of sorrow, the Shapeshifting Master of Darkness. And today, you shall obtain much greater power. Once a part of the being known as Manus, your progenitor was bested by a young godling wielding a sword of immense power. Slain by the sword’s magic, his very soul was shredded and scattered across the universe. But still most of these pieces didn’t perish, and from one of the strongest you arose. Over the past several millennia you have tried to track down other pieces of yourself, to once more achieve the power you’d once held. But each piece of old Manus is clever, much like you: each wanting to be the one who achieves their true power by absorbing the others. But after all this time, you now stand face-to-face with the single-strongest other shard you’ve ever found.

“Now I have you all to myself.” Nashandra says, stroking her scythe’s edge with a finger. You’ve never seen that particular weapon before, but it’s clearly a powerful artifact. You can’t simply rush in, not knowing what that weapon does. So you roar, bellowing forth a column of flames at your counterpart. But she’s unphased, lifting a hand and parting your flames before her. “Really? Fire?”
“What? I like using fire.” you reply, spinning and swinging your dragon body’s large tail. But her scythe flashes, slashing the last foot or so from your tail. “Whaaaat? It cut through?!”
“Of course, dear brother .” she replies tauntingly, giving the blade a little flourish. “You’re not the first one I’ve assimilated, and you won’t be the last. Join with me.”
“No thank you.” you reply, stretching both of your arms forward and trying to slash at her with your claws. But again Nashandra’s blade slices you, cutting your attack just short of herself. “However, if you want to surrender, I believe you will find my form most accommodating.”

“I’m sorry dear brother, but I must decline.” she replies, assuming what you take to be a ready stance. “But I won’t lose to anyone. Especially to someone weaker than myself.”
“I wouldn’t be so confident.” you say menacingly, body shifting forms. “I will show you why they call me the Shapeshifting Master of Darkness!”
>>
>>4048287
Transforming into an amorphous ball of limbs, you begin striking at Nashandra from all sides. Your sister defends herself, swinging her scythe around her body in a blur and slicing at every limb. Despite the sheer volume of your assault, Nashandra’s able to somehow keep up with you! Every one of your limbs is met by her scythe, either blocking it with the handle or slicing into you with her blade. For several minutes you continue the assault, and she continues defending herself. But what’s worse, she doesn’t even seem to be trying.

“Come now, dear brother.” Nashandra says tauntingly. “Is this really the best you’ve got?”
“My best?” you ask her, acting confused. “What? No, I am just stretching myself before I start fighting.”

Is what you say, trying to hide how worried you are. Even Karn, who is the strongest mortal you’ve ever seen in action, would’ve already been overwhelmed by your attack. Or at least forced to burn off some energy and do something dramatic to stop you, while your sister seems completely unphased, even bored by your attack. What do you do now?

“You... You’re MOCKING ME?!” Nashandra suddenly shouts, furious. “HOW DARE YOU MOCK ME!!”
“Uhh...” you mutter, not entirely sure what’s going on with her. But you’re getting a really bad feeling about this, which is only highlighted when you see the magic she’s conjuring in her left hand. “Wait, is that?”
“DIIIEEE!!” she roars, unleashing a beam of black fire. You open a hole in your malleable body, her attack passing harmlessly through you. But how in the hell does she know how to command the flames of darkness? That knowledge was seemingly lost when Manus fell, as every single piece you’d assimilated over the eons didn’t know the secret of conjuring the Black Flames either. This makes things...considerably more difficult, as that Abyssal fire can hurt you. It can KILL you. “Hold still and let me kill you!!”

“I have a better idea.” you say with a wicked grin, stretching yourself out until you pop. Your pieces scatter across the room by the thousands, each quickly morphing into a man-sized version of yourself wielding the weapons and armor of the land you’d first awoken in. Holding curved swords, long spears and mighty bows, you now outnumber your foe by more than three thousand to one. And as one, you laugh.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=3ojngB0__z4

“Waaaahahahahahaaa!” every one of you laughs, the sound echoing and bouncing off the walls until it becomes visibly painful to your sister. “FOOOOOL! I shall be the one who claims victory this day!”
>>
>>4048292
“You think your numbers can beat me?” she replies, once more gathering the dark flames in her left hand. “You’re spread out so thin, there’s now no way I can miss now!”
“You may.”
“Be able.”
“To beat.”
“A few of us.” you say using several different mouths, Nashandra trying to keep her eyes on all of you. “But you will never.”
“Be able.”
“To stop.”
“ALL of me!”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=HOL7Ivf6AEY

As one your thousands of throats all scream out a terrifying war cry, and attack. Your greatbow-wielding bodies all fire simultaneously, hundreds of black arrows arcing towards her as your bodies wielding melee weapons all rush in to attack. She swings her scythe, slashing down dozens of you with each swing, but you attack in an unstoppable wave of bodies. For each dozen of you she cuts down, another thirteen immediately rush in to take their place. But as you throw your bodies into her meat-grinder blade work, you can’t help but admire her. Her blade work is flawless; no movement wasted as she cuts your yous down by the hundreds. If you were actually trying to take her down by mob rush, you’d be feeling pretty worried right about now.

“I won’t fall here!!” she suddenly roars, a wave of unfocused dark energy blasting out from her left hand. Her sudden attack blasts the several dozen of you closest to her over, you halting your assault. Nashandra begins to once more gather the Black Flames, preparing to unleash it on you. Exactly as you’d planned. “DI-Huh?”
“Got you.” you say with a laugh. As she’d been slashing your hundreds of bodies apart, you’d kept her attention squarely focused on the army rushing her. Which is how you’d been able to reform the cut down bodies under her, slowly climbing your dark body up her. And now, before she was able to once more unleash her magic your darkness leapt up, grabbing both of her arms. “FOOOOOL!!“
“Wait, what?!” she shouts, panicking as you begin turning her arm around towards her own stomach. “What are you doing? Stop this right now!!”
“Doing? I’m not doing anything.” you say cheekily, Nashandra unable to stop arm. You’re simply stronger, pushing her arm closer and closer to her. She tries to banish her fire, but it’s no use; the flame touching her exposed middle.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!” she screams in agony, the dark flames igniting her on contact. You pull yourself off of her, gathering all of your dark body back together across the narrow bridge from her. You watch as her own flames quickly begin consuming her, your sister dropping her scythe as she flails about helplessly. You relish in her agony a moment, but you can’t let her burn away to nothing yet. You need her, no, your power from her first.
>>
>>4048294
“As much fun as watching you burn to nothing would be, I cannot have you dying just yet.” you say, reaching out with a tendril of darkness. You hesitate for just a moment, knowing how much this will hurt, and wrap her up. You try to smother the Black Flame, it immediately catching your body on fire as well. But you can’t focus on that, simultaneously reaching out with another tendril to the Abyssal portal and activating it. “Now you’re coming with me!”

And you pull yourself down into the portal, dragging the now-weaponless Nashandra with you into the Dark. The portal accepts you both eagerly, taking you from this ephemeral world into true Dark. As she’s pulled into the Abyss her Dark Flame goes out; without the outside world to burn it cannot exist for long.

“And now, I will finish this.” you say, releasing her only to grab her head with both hands. Digging and stretching your fingers into her mouth, you slowly begin prying it open.
“Wai! Naaah! Ooooo!!” she shouts out, digging her own hands desperately into your malleable body to try and pull your arms off. But her hands move through yours like water, unable to so much as slow down your arms. Laughing maniacally, you stretch your body and leap straight down her throat. You pour your own body straight into hers, your body beginning to absorb hers from the inside out. She tries to scream around you, to do anything to stop what’s coming, but it’s too late. She can’t escape you now. Within a minute her entire body has been consumed, but instead of fighting for her physical form Nashandra abandons. Instead of fighting an impossible battle she retreats deep, deep within her own mind. And it’s easy to see why, her mind is armored like a fortress.
>>
>>4048299
“Impressive.” you say to yourself, studying her mental fortress. It appears to you as a massive castle, a dark fortress with a lone tower rising higher than the clouds themselves. This must be similar to where she reigned from, on whatever world she’d first awakened on. And you’re going to have to assault that monstrous castle to claim all of her secrets, especially her knowledge of the Black Flame. And that’s not something you’re eager to get started with, taking her castle will be an ordeal.

But thankfully you don’t have to do that right now, as she no longer has anywhere to run away to. So instead of starting the assault while you’re this worn out, you instead move her small mental island around inside your expansive of a mind. You set her castle down between two of the others’ mental fortresses you haven’t gotten to yet. Nashandra’s black castle marks a stark contrast between the pale, ice-covered castle in the land of white, and the harsh fortress of iron resting in a lake of fire.

“You certainly make a lovely addition to my collection.” you say, chuckling to yourself. While many of your siblings had simply surrendered when you’d beaten them, submitting and becoming part of you; Nashandra and these other two are far more stubborn than the ‘average’ shards you’ve found. So you’ll simply wear them down by attrition; forcing them to constantly keep on high alert and watching for you. You’ve worn down a few other resilient shards this way, once their guard slips from the years, decades, or even centuries of being on full alert; you’ll be right there. The stress of knowing you could attack at any moment will wear their resolve down, and once they’re worn down enough you’ll assimilate them too.

“Dad? Dad!!” you hear a cacophony of familiar voices all calling out to you. Pulling your focus back out from inside your mind and opening your eyes, you find that your daughters have all jumped down into the Abyss after you. You see Ashi leading them to you, carrying Nashandra’s massive scythe in both hands. They all shout out at once, rushing to you.
“My girls!” you shout excitedly, embracing them all with your stretchy arms. “You came down here for me?”
“Of course, we all felt it when you left us behind!” Ashi pouts angrily. Your daughters are so cute. “And why didn’t you let us help you? We coulda taken her down ourselves! Right girls?”
“Right!” your other daughters all shout as one, you simply chuckling as you hold them.
“Perhaps next time girls.” you say to them with an easy smile. But there’s no way in hell you’d ever let your precious girls get anywhere near thr kind of danger the other shards of Manus can present to them.

>>
>Aku both won and kicked her ass
good job aku, can't wait till he gets around and actually asks karn what the hell happened where he clearly had run ins with the abyss and maybe an alternate manus.
>>
Another thng i feel i wanted to point out, for karn specifically, cause i'd been thinking of this lately: Karn is basically the one DB protag that shouldn't ever have to worry about how strong he is, specifically because LSSJ/Berserk SSJ tends to get stronger the more angry he is, and control seems to massively massively nerf that, looking at how adult broly can literally asspull strength and forms just by getting more and more pissed off. I almost wonder if Karn's biggest issue is his massive sense of restraint since he can't just go all out uncontrollable berserk without worrying about blasting half the universe to ash, and any situation that forces him to that point is a really shitty one to begin with, so unlike say goku or vegeta who can literally asspull new forms when strong enough i just can't see it working for karn cause he wouldn't allow that for the sheer fact he needs to be in control to keep everyone else alive, probably working twice as much just to fight berserk SSJ under control.
>>
>>4048614
Is it though? Can he truly control when he leaves the Abyss? Going from a timeless dimension to one with time is rather difficult.
>>4048707
And an alternate Aku
>>4048747
Karn definitely works harder at controlling his power than anyone except your Broly. But the next level of Berserker is not unlocked through rage, or even training. It takes something special to reach even bigger green levels. At least the first time.

QM UPDATE

Ok, so my work schedule is(as of now) the same as it was before. So Saiyan Conqueror Quest will be back running at regular schedule this coming weekend. We’ll be starting at noon EST on Saturday, February 1st!
>>
>>4054274
Finally, I thought it was Friday and was disappointed when it turned into Monday.
>>
QM QUESTIONS

With this quest well over 2 1/2 years of running, which part(or parts) of this quest keeps you coming back? Or if you’re relatively new to SCQ, what made you start reading this quest? And what’s your goal? Are you hoping we get to the end of Karn’s natural lifespan, and see what happens with death(and beyond)? Or once Karn reaches a certain age, would you rather take control of one of the kids/grandkids and see just how differently they see the universe? And of course if you have questions for me I’ll still be here until the next thread starts. I may nog answer immediately, but I’ll answer.

>>4054953
We’re back to normal schedule, so hopefully you’ll be here on the 1st.
>>
>>4056013
What keeps me coming back? Good fights, good friends, great family, and the burning desire to deliver a Berserker 3/Primal Beatdown to Zamasu, Jiren, and the Supreme THOT.

Yeah, if we die of Old Age, there really won't be fuck all anyone can do to hold us there, shit Enma and Co couldn't handle Janenmba. Let alone us at that point.

Nope. As far as I'm concerned, Karn is the PC until the day he dies, and thats only if we don't break out of hell. This wouldn't BE SCQ if Karn wasn't the PC IMO.

What the fuck is the special Plot Lock that caps Berserker Mastery at 80% and how do we trigger it to get access to Full Mastery?
>>
>>4056013
>With this quest well over 2 1/2 years of running, which part(or parts) of this quest keeps you coming back?
Damn it really has been that long, hasn't it? Shit man I guess I've been coming back on habit. Y'all're my niggas.
>>
>>4056013
>which part(or parts) of this quest keeps you coming back?
I like the blend of series. It really leads to cool world building, like finding out King Cold was a Jedi.
>would you rather take control of one of the kids/grandkids and see just how differently they see the universe?
I’d be down to play as the kids if Karn kicks the bucket or just retires.
I gotta say GD, back during the first few threads I didn’t think this quest would make it this far, I’m glad I was wrong. Thanks for running and congrats on 2 1/2 years.
>>
>>4056013
Honestly, I just want to go with Karn the entire way. To death and beyond. I'm not a fan of the idea of permanently or semi-permanently controlling the kids, because I'm not nearly as attached to them as Karn. We've been making Karn's decisions since day one, after all - and it's fair enough if the kids make their own decisions.
Even if he dies and goes to hell, there's still plenty of content to see and do with everyone's favorite angry dad.
My goal is to have Karn eradicate all of the things that have threatened him and his family over the years, even the ones that we haven't seen in a long while. A few people may have forgotten some of those threats already, but I haven't.
>>
>>4056020
>Zamasu, Jiren, and the Supreme THOT.
One day you may be strong enough.
>Janemba
They couldn’t handle Janemba because his magic fucked up the ENTIRE afterlife.
>Karn is the PC until the day he dies
Glad I’m not the only one who feels that way.
>80%

I'm socially isolated and /qst/ is my only form of human contact.
Been here since quest 20-ish, and I've long since decided on getting Karn to be the biggest, greenest son of a bitch in the multiverse.
To infinity and beyond. Being dead in DB is no excuse to not do stuff, especially train.
No. Karn, to me, is the PC and nothing will change that. The occasional one-off is cool though.
Where do you live because it's high time you got a proper shogun of shadows posting device. I've figured it to be on the east coast, probably around the central Virginia area. Definitely in or near the hillbilly mountains.

Simply put you never run out of new ideas, I can come into a thread and have no idea what new universe you are going to add to the lore, you have done the impossible and thrown every setting under the sun into the SCQ lore and it somehow worked. Honestly it makes the existing lore of Toriyama feel more complete. The galaxy feels like a big place that Karn even if he started now, would never get a chance to fully explore before he died. The whiplash between comfy family SOL stuff and 100 mile per hour I must protec works well and unlike DBZ it feels like every encounter has real stakes, that each time we pass out there's a chance Towa won't be able to wake us up and even if we do unless we gave 110% to get to that level of strain there would be consequences for it. On top of all this it's obvious that things are only going to get better from here, Beerus and the accompanying tournaments are on the horizon and in 2 or 3 in-game years we will have a shotgun wedding to plan, the prospect of an unhealthy number of grand kids/great-grandkids is nice since even though some of them haven't had a lot of screen time all our kids feel distinct and there are so many more archetypes you could use for them, how long until Chili sires a weeb, mini-Gandalf and an edgelord only time will tell. One of the things I've always imagined is for Karn to force Beerus to let his family tailgate at the tournament of the destroyers, find out Cabba can't go Super Saiyan then substitute one of his youngest great grandkids who promptly goes ascended Super Saiyan and annihilates him while Karn laughs and eats barbecue. Fun times are ahead indeed.
>>
>>4056013
What keeps me coming back is the fact we are in a DB quest playing on "the wrong side of history" as it were, and watching Karn be both a hero to his universe while still being a massive antag to the whole Z crew including the time patrol is unique and wonderful.

The fact this place never had a fucking Discord to split people's attention dividing the thread, the obscene LACK OF DEDICATED SHITPOSTERS SOMEHOW, how chill everyone is when we come here for Dad Night, and the fact we all managed to agree and stick to just being a fucking awesome dad. That's what keeps me coming back.
I started reading because I was sick of trying to find some fanfiction on Fanfic.com with DBZ, and still am absolutely disgusted with the weird pride that is there to have absolutely retarded stories that bastardised source material just to fit a narrative. Early on I was pissed that there were so many enemies that shouldn't have been threats, but I came around after the bugs were finished and some enemies that could back up the intimidation required to hold the powerlevels they had. The fact this isn't one giant insert character canon story remake #bullshitamounthere, and there are actual consequences and the world around us, without the Dragon Balls just being around to hamstring the story is great.
One day I want to see Pink Bitch elbow deep on our arm, beating up her pet bird with her as a boxing glove, DEATH BY OLD AGE OR BUST MOTHERFUCKERS, DEATH HIMSELF HAS TO BRING THE SACK TO CARRY OUR SOUL! And I agree with the other Anon's, death isn't the end in DBZ, so it shouldn't be for Karn, while our kids, and majority of supporting cast for that matter, don't get much screen time, they have enough that they can make their own decisions, and go off to expand the Karn Clan Trailer Park by bringing in anyone they want, without our input, for the most part.
>>
>>4056530
We should bring Godzilla meat. I bet the other teams would like that.

Ah but anon you do not see. The shitposters and dadposters are one in the same. For truly there is nothing a shitposter wants more than to have his father love him. Real shit the quest has been going long enough that people just don't find a reason to shitpost. It's not like a new quest where you can stir the pot super easily. There is stability here.

This. One hundred times this. There is no easy undo button, and that makes every fight potentially have real consequences.

I hope so. Been really looking forward to certain character interactions.

Its a wierd balancing act, but I think I’ve got the hang of it now.

Excuse you, are you saying our Dadding hasn't rubbed off on our kids so they know how to raise their kids, even going so far as to imply we can't flex our might when we level up to GRAND DAD?! How dare you.
>Anon, did you skip math in school?
Breath a lot of concrete dust and other shit, so my head doesn't do math that well. The concussions might also be a factor.
>Anon, did you skip math in school?
It still baffles me when this obvious fact is ignored and QMs watch their thread die from it being made.
>>

>>4057587
>As the name implies, it spreads discord throughout a quest.
I am also fucking dyslexic apparently, and meant that comment for this.
>>
>>4057599
Karn knows Human+Saiyan=Boi. Simple math even he can do. Although, as the father of(currently) three half-demons, he wouldn’t outright tell his kid no. But he would emphasize on raising them correctly.
Fair point.
See above?
>>4057604
Ah okay, makes more sense. And yes, why would any QM make a Discord? If you’re using that, just run your quest there instead.
>>
>>4058009
>If you’re using that, just run your quest there instead
The interface is actually fucking awful for running any sort of tabletop-esque games.
Plus you need bots for rolling dice and whatnot, it's not great.
>>
>>4058818
Which is why there is absolutely nothing of value to having one, the sole purpose it serves it to split thread attention.
>>
>>4058818
>>4058828
I can see it working for other websites. Here we have built-in (and duplicitous and dishonest) dice and easy interaction between us. We literally don't need any of the features discord can provide. But other sites could benefit from it. Which is why those sites are weak and those who dwell there posses inferior bloodlines.
>>
>>4058832
Yeah, and? Other websites are irrelevant to threads on 4chan anyways, as are the benefits that Discord could potentially provide them.

As of the latest Super chapter, Yamcha is the strongest human (not counting C-17, C-18, and Oob). According to Toriyama-sensei, being left out of the fight against Freeza's army really galled him, so he convinced Roshi to start training him again, and threw himself into his lessons with a fervor never before seen. He could probably defeat Freeza when he first arrived on Earth right now!
>humans are actually naturally stronger than Saiyans, however planet Earth doesn't provide anywhere near the level of challenge required to nurture this latent talent. The gravity is also ten times weaker, so they have to compensate.
>while there's no way for a human to "transform" the way Saiyans do, being able to naturally raise or lower their power is something unheard of even to Freeza's forces. It's been theorized they could learn to tap into this ability further and utilize it in a way that similar to the Kaioken--and maybe even more efficient!
>All of the man human Dragon Team members (except for maybe Chiaotzu and Yajirobe) are leagues stronger than even the toughest Saiyans back before Planet Vegeta was destroyed (except for Broly, of course). This even includes powerhouses like Bardock and Prince Vegeta himself!
