Ok well let's grow a lure because it's pretty much an investment in hunting.

We need some harder skin for defense. Is camouflage / hypnosis skin (like octopus or cuttlefish on the table?

Also need some acid for defense and getting into that metal thing. The ability to sense electric fields would help out there too.

So how about:

Dw fagits, we'll find a way out

> Rolling to not get worse

What we need to do is use acid mouth to make a hole in the brig. Doesn't have to be deep, just obvious from outside. Then, we use cuttlefish skin to blend in with the brig, so that from the outside it looks like we corroded a hole and escaped. But really, we're camouflaged next to the door so that when Officer Guardbot opens up the cell to investigate, we just slip out behind him.

Or maybe we can hang out lure out through the bars and get attention that way. Was it turned on when we got caught (i.e., do the fagbots know we have it)?

Gotta get this bleeding figured out tho

I guess before we do anything like luring a guard or corroding walls, we should probably explore the brig we're in. First of all, is that what it is (a brig)? Does it have lights, a toilet, bars, a bed, etc?

If we do have a sharklike ability to sense electric fields, we should listen as hard as we can to what's going on around us in the walls. Could maybe locate an electrical conduit that way, and expose it with Acid ability.

The brig can't be in fantastic condition after the ship having been down on the ocean floor for awhile. Surely something must be rusting or weakened. And I can't imagine that Xhyper Co. intended this vessel to be a prison ship. They sound like a commercial outfit, meaning that the brig was probably never even used. That's less likely though if this Xhyper is a colonization company like the Weyland-Yutani Corporation in the Alien movies, because they'd have needed a brig for discipline.

If it's a smaller ship and we're lucky, then the crew might have even used the brig as a storage closet -- is there anything useful in there? Also, if indeed it is a smaller ship then there really isn't a good place to locate the brig in the ship's design -- by necessity it'd have to be near something else vital, like the engine room, the shuttle bay, elevator shaft, or something. That could be big for us.

While we wait for OP to come back, here's a roll to see if we got any Mutation Points from the algae that we managed to scarf down before the Guardbots showed up.

If manage to get a point I vote that we grow some kind of articulated limb capable of fine motor action -- hands, tentacles, etc -- because there's obvi humans and human tech on this world, so that means we'll need to manipulate controls / tools at some point

Let's do a perimeter swim around the ship and see what we can see. Keep close to the ship, might need to dart in to a crevice & use octopus camouflage suddenly in case something hungry and bigger than us shows up.

And while we're at it, a juicy annelid or maybe a fishstick or two sounds good right about now. There is probably a buffet of low-level critters who are sheltering in the little spaces underneath where the ship meets the ocean floor. Let's keep our eyes open -- we need tendies for healing and mutation points.

This planet is mostly desert. Right now we're in what is one of the few -- maybe the only -- body of water on this world. If we want to leave the sea anytime soon, during the next few mutation rounds we'll probably want to develop:

>> LUNGS
Like the lungfishes or coelacanth

>> SKIN
Don't want to shrivel up and dry out the instant we leave the sea

>> LIMBS
Gonna need some way to move on land unless we want to stay in snek form and slither everywhere. Since it's a desert world, it'd be best for us to develop legs and wings because flight beats slogging through the desert. In order to get airborne though we'd probably need a complete body overhaul -- especially if we get girthy and have heavy bones in our jaws and tail.

Thinking about it, the Godzilla/Iguana Body might suit us pretty well because it's well adapted to both land and sea travel

At some point -- don't know when -- we're gonna need to manipulate tools or a control panel on this planet. I wonder if we will need HANDS/TENTACLES, or if we can level up PSI high enough to be telekinetic?

You feel a strange tingle in the back of your throat, and then you begin to vomit a blackish-blue substance, it's not blood, you've seen your blood. It begins to spread more and more around the cavern. It begins to form small structures.

You walk up to one of the structures on instinct. You stand there for amount, awkwardly, and then begin vomiting again. Something rises through your throat for 30-45 seconds and then out comes a luminous green orb. You do this a second time. You strongly disliked everything about this experience.

Most important thing is that before we left them go, give them a dose of psyonic DMT where they feel pleasure, terror, awe, and adoration at the same time. Associate it with a loose vision of our body outline / scent.

Whenever people come around this place in the rocks, we should randomly give them psychonaut experiences. Theyll grow to treat the place with religious reverence, prolly bring offerings and stuff.

You spit up some bugs and lichen, your spawn begins munching through it. you then, instinctively, begin to hack up acid in small pockets you form in the creep, you do this a good few times, it takes up biomass to do it, any humans who try to enter your turf are in for a shock.

If the QM comes back (I hope you do) the best play is to expand quietly underground building up our numbers and power. It would also be helpful to found a cult among the humans with us as the god they worship, we would need to invest heavily into PSY powers to pull it off but it would be worth it.
