How? How the fuck do you reach that level of quality in art in only like an hour? Voodoo, some kind of dark magic? Whatever it is, make sure it doesn't succumb to the qm curse. It would be a damn shame.

Roadie said we were really close to Biggie's turf when we met him, so maybe we are now after we went looking for more food. Either way, no need to piss of the kingpin by getting in a fight with one of his toadies as soon as we rolled into town. This does not seem like a reasonable individual.

yeah, i wanna defer to Roadie, odds are he can talk us out of this jam we found ourselves.

From what I remember, staring at a dog's eye/ baring teeth is a sign of aggression, might want to keep our head down while we let Roadie talk.

If push comes to shove we should be able to outrun them.
>>
>>4036400
Avoid eye contact sure but not putting our head down, we can look to the side or something, or just above or just to the left/right of their heads
>>
>>4036136
>Let Roadie do the talking.
Holy fuck, this is some of the best art I've seen since before the board came about
>>
>>4036430
Honestly, yeah.

You can tell this guy has been drawing for a while, he know's how to elicit certain expressions with only a few strokes.

It's not super ADHD levels of detailed but damn do they look fantastic. Bone is drawn to form every time, the sorta scruffy face on Roadie...
Shout outs to the QM, very impressive work.

>Let Roadie do the talking.
This art is amazing! How do you manage to draw so fast and so good qm?

Here we go
>>
>>4036136
>Run the other way.
>>
>>4036516

The gamble here is that playing it cold and cordial like Bone is might not be what these bastard dogs want. They're used to being top of the pack around here, and they want submission, submission they wouldn't get from us, not really.

By pawning off the diplomatic relations onto Roadie, a more casual and friendly dog, odds are he knows how to appease those lugs.

He also could fuck it all up, granted.
It's a gamble.
>>
>>4036574
Also, he’s actually familiar with these dogs, if nothing else. If we try and talk them down we might step on some mine or another by accident and set them off.
>>
>>4036136

More importantly, we must acknowledge we've been put on a timer now. That other mutt is coming with back up, and he seems speedy, so it won't be long before he arrives with the supposed 'Biggy'.

I doubt we can fight the other, stronger mutt, who's shitlist we've been put on since he's now blind in one eye. Odds are adrenaline is keeping him from registering the pain, but it wont last forever, same goes for us.

I say we dip the fuck outta here before this turns into a real shitshow, probably roam around a different part of the outskirts of their territory.

Looking at Roadie, it seems he's used up all his courage for this encounter, don't want to risk him being too scared to continue mid-fight.

We're going to get found out either way, other dogs will track us down by scent probably, and I'm trying to figure out what would be worse, letting this dog live after gashing out his eye wanting vengeance, or taking him down and have the rest of his friends come after us to avenge him.

Either way we better hope to find a place to hide out after this.

Question for OP;
Can dogs talk to only other dogs in this universe? I'm just wondering on if other urban animals will be around or if this will be focused entirely on dog to dog interaction.

Bad idea we've already screwed any chance with Biggy by fighting his goons at this point we need to
>>4048563
>kill him
Take the dead raccoon and get the fuck out of here. Biggy is big and mean enough to control a whole pack and territory which means our only advantage is that while he has to stay more or less put in order to keep his territory we can nomad our way to a different part of town.
>>
>>4048700
Addendum
If he does leak critical info about what his group is up to, it might not be a difficult argument to convince him that his involvement with them is over, and that his only chance is to leave town.

Killing might freak the hell out of Roadie, he's kind of struck me as a softy since the beginning and we don't know much about his history yet .

Blargh, yeah... you're right. Mulling on it, I think setting a standard for mercy that high would pretty much spell out hell for the rest of the campaign given how rough the world seems so far. Plus Roadie already fucked up his eye, letting someone live with that is a sad ending at best, and a good motive for Roadie being hunted down later.

I got a feeling this will pan like a Telltale decision where it fucks you over either way; and every comment I see "OP Will remember that..." in my head.
>>
>>4048563

The way Roadie comments on the situation has me wondering how much killing the fat fuck would affect him.

Like, it's one thing to fight back for self defense, but most people don't have the stones to finish the job, even if push comes to shove.

The enemy was prideful, aggressive, and confrontational. How much of that can be attributed to being part of Biggy's pack is hard to say, but he seems like the type to hold a grudge. Hell, killing one of Biggy's men is bound to put a shit list after us.

>Release him ("Don't forget that I had your life in my paw/jaw? and let you live.")

Maybe he could become a party member? You know, domination, being the alpha and all that?
Probably wishful thinking, but still.
>>
>>4048866
I like mercy as much as the next guy Anon, but the complication here is that we directly pushed Roadie into messing up that eye of his. Chancing taking this dog in would betray Roadie after making the gambit he did for us, and with how shook he seems to this it probably took a lot of guts for him to save our neck.

Mercy is a virtue but this dog was going to kill us just for crossing his path and now the fight has cost him an eye and pride.
While I fear that killing him will horrify Roadie I even more fear if we let him live it will mean Roadie's death later when he comes seeking revenge.
>>
>>4048920
Well, he is employed under Biggy.

When it comes to gang warfare/territory, etiquette suggests being hostile to outsiders 'invading' your gangs turf.

Violence is probably the only thing that fucking mutt knows.

He probably expects it to be kill or be killed.

I know mercy has it's risks, but so does killing him.

It could end badly, but we aren't like them, we don't kill ruthlessly, we aren't savages.

He did start the confrontation being aggressive, but I want to attribute some of that to being under Biggy's rule. Maybe he will learn some humility having been dominated? That's how dogs learn in a pack, after all.
>>
Aside topic

I feel a bit silly asking but I want to be sure.
Is this story inspired or has OP seen Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin/Weed/ aka that dog anime?

This isn't the time for mercy if this dog's attitude and actions toward us are any indication of his personality letting him live will only come back to bite us in the ass. He tried to attack and kill us unprovoked. it all you mercy fags get your way he will come for us and maybe kill us or roadie. the best move is to kill him here and now while we still have the chance.
>>
>>4049230

You act as if killing him will let us off free of charge.
If we kill one of Biggy's men, we get put on their entire shitlist.

There is no upside to that. However, if we show mercy, maybe, just maybe, we get pardoned since he provoked us. Even if that doesn't happen, it's better odds than killing him outright.
>>
>>4049278
You can be right
>>
>>4049278
You act as if we already are not. the other dog has gone back to tell biggy that we are fucking up his boy. If you think that Biggy a gang leader is going to show mercy you're not playing with a full deck of cards. What will happen if we let him go is the dog will give a detailed description of us and roadie, Biggy will send out his boys to find us and make an example out of us for changing his authority. Maybe we fight them off when they find us maybe we don't.

Now let me tell you what happens when we will the dog that is trying to kill us. the other dog gives a less detailed description of what we look like as he was further away and focused on the raccoon. Giving us a better chance of slipping through the cracks of the city until this all blows over.

By showing MeRcY we lose that chance and only invite more trouble. Remember its not like we are attacking a cop, we are attacking an enforcer of what is the dog mafia. Just by choosing to fight back and defend ourselves we have challenged the power of Biggys gang showing mercy isn't going to mean jackshit.

I admire the quote but keep in mind this sort of quote comes off very "Holier than thou" imsomorallookatme when you have someone in a vulnerable position. I speak from experience when I say there's a time and a place to speak wiseman or down to earth.

How about something terse but deep? How about...

"I'm no murderer".

There's a number of different ways to go with this but I think as long as we don't flaunt morality or scoff now that he's vulnerable we should be fine.

>>4053499
me too, it's a shame though we had to mess up his eye. Yeah he started it but the eyes are arguably the most important sense in a rough urban setting like this.

Maybe it won't bite us in the ass and the karma will help us out later?
>>
>>4053529

>>4041316
>>4041321

yeah looking at the comics, there's almost no way he'll retain that eye or it's function.
I was hoping that maybe roadie would have punctured the eyelid/right above/below the eye, and that's why there's so much blood, but it seems unlikely...

Actually. upon further investigation, it seems like, depending on how the injury was, that determines the amount of blood.

>Piercing only the clear cornea (front surface) of the eye would create a leak of aqueous fluid (the fluid in the anterior portion of the eye) but no blood because the cornea has no blood vessels. piercing the white part of the eye would also create a leak of fluid aqueous and /or vitreous (fluid in back chamber of the eye) but also some blood because there are blood vessels in the white part of the eye and in the inner layers of the eye

The amount of blood and the angle at which Roadie bit down on him during the fight leads me to believe there's some hope that a lot of the blood, which seems to be an unreasonable amount if it was just the eye that got ruptured, is coming from above the eye/the surrounding flesh.

Hell, even considering how a jaw works, I doubt Roadie would've perfectly nailed his eye at all, most likely having bitten the flesh surrounding it since it's a bigger target for him to stick his teeth into. Then again, that's just hopeful thinking at best, so maybe he is blinded in that eye for good...

>>4052756
I like this quote, but the other anon is right at how this comes off a bit 'i'm so cool' and shit.

Biggy probably wasn't too far away, and we left blood at where we were so they can probably track us down by scent.

We need to increase our distance from where the fight happened and try to find some way to cover our scent. From there we can probably drill more info out of Roadie and figure out what to do from there.

Let's go with Roadie, we don't really know where anything is anyway and I'm assuming if it's a place he's been to it wouldn't be in or deeper in Biggy's turf.

I wonder what in a trashed setting like this is somewhere fun. Maybe we're going pigeon bowling.

Let's get the raccoon squared away with too, dog's have 0 inventory apart from their mouth and asides sounding like a goof we can't really fight with our mouth full.
