With the 26th Regiment pushing to end the Red the Queen, all of Hyperia tunes in and awaits orders for the inevitable and long slog that is the the Raid on Red Queen's Lair. But for you , 26th Regiment, you will be getting the front seat. Using the Hyperion as a forward base you will establish a bridgehead into the enemy, Fabricators, reserve troops from the 7th and 13th, and even the Algorhymes will be taking part with the assistance of Celestial host. Needless to say, this episode Must Succeed.

>Those of you seeing this for the first time, listen up, we got plenty of seats on the Hyperion as we need all the bodies we can get either as fodder for the Xeno or extra hands for the firing line. Preferrably the latter. Because if we let the Red Queen take root here, there will be no end to the damage this spore colony can inflict on the surrounding planets within a year. This is certain.

The plan is split up in two parts, namely we'll be passengers for the first half, and if we survive, we'll be coming out guns blazing on the second - even if the ship crashes.

Should that happen we'll opt to bombing the hive instead of risking a confrontation with the Queen, Diagona has agreed to that much, even though she would prefer her students slay this monster in front of her face. But as it stands, you're all still fledgelings so we'll keep ourselves flexible.

Aerospace Units: Your numbers are limited and field of operations even moreso, Predators and MI units are about the only things that can participate in both rungs of this operation, while INterceptors are good for only the first half. Even still , their roles will be instrumental in securing the approach.

Waterloo, you're a deadshot so if you stick by one of the frontliners, you ablate anything coming closer. As this is a holding action while the Hyperion powers closer, I'm going to suggest you dictate where you want to make a stand with your large field area denial capability. Errant Chernobyl can fill the area around that with gas and horror.

Talk to the Marines about making sure you're not all shooting the same target.

Hetros, you're the only mule operator with capacity to repair. Jupiter and Illyuanka are going to need you to play support for them so they can whether the storm of bugs.

Stick by them and keep them alive; you should be able to repair their armor systems and create cover that we can defensively hold. It's critical that we make sure we aren't losing important units to missing field repairs though. Let me know if there's anything we can do to make it easier for you.

Laws, you're in a predator. That's going to be the main area saturation option. We may need you to drop things close to ground positions. If you can, try to preserve your munitions for clustered units. I know the temptation to score a kill-streak by dumping all you fire on big things is there, but we need your bombs to make sure the ground-assault isn't devoured. Ranger might ping you to hit something.

Sticks, Rhapsody and Impression, you're the escort screen. Not my theatre so I don't know how to orchestrate that. Maybe designate a local leader, make sure you don't get split up and ripped apart? if you can hook yourself to the hyperion, it'll drag you along and you can be mounted turrets, after a fashion.

" All personnel on deck , while you sit around waiting for the Hyperion to make it, you can crew the PT-6s located in the middle of the craft or make your way to the exterior, through the central neck. Though I wouldn't reccomend it, let the AA do the work and take care of any stragglers that make it on board. Keeping the KT-12s active will be crucial inside the hive as well as out.

Be advise I am going to open fire on all of you with the turrets if you don't get your shit together. I've seen better piloting on videos of crash testing.

The Wasp units have a air to air combat capability. You have all managed to put yourself in a position where the bastards will fly forward, collide with you and begin tearing you apart using contact-attacks. This is an automatic process. You are being reactive. The bugs swarm. You have to actively deny them ground. Or air, as the case may be.

Rhapsody you've isolated yourself from the flying units you need to support with your guns. Why would you abandon your teammates? They need your help. Again, the wasps have ENGAGEMENT ATTACKs. If you are within their speed range, they are able to attack you. I thought flyboys knew this but to be honest I can appreciate the bold ardour of your forward position. I am just less convinced of the plating integrity of your common MI unit.

Laws, the Hyperion moves forward, you are going to be left behind. And out of turret range. And then there are the Wasps, which are going to destroy you, as you are now out of range of any backup.

Once the Hyperion's integrity reaches zero, permanent damage will begin on the ship's very hull, exposing it to the environment and from enemy fire and attacks. Durandal: We were informed that a memory erasure pill was used once we were told of the plan and had given our tacit approval. I can only assume this plan requires the [Red Queen] not finding out about it until the final moment and that the Hyperion is needed. However this doesn't conflict with other aspects of a classic Queen slaying as it very much relies on /that/ too.
