Welcome to CorpRP, a game where you put yourself in the shoes of a small business and slowly grow your corporate Empire. You can play anything from a Church based Charity to chaos worshipping mercenaries. You can trade in any resource or good you want, but consult the OP first as some things don’t exist in setting. Except the items listed in the Country's section, assume early renaissance technology level.

You can take 2 Actions per turn and start one NPC diplomatic interaction per turn. Diplomacy and negotiation between players is free. There is 1 turn per day.

In this game you will be working to meet supply and demand. You can send out scouts to learn about the “demand” in a new region or choose to invest blindly, but watch out for rival companies as demand is a limited pie you don’t want cut up in slices (can be increased through ads though). Another important statistic of nations is wealth. This basically describes how much you can jack up the prize of a product without demand plummeting, so be careful when raising the prize of the product as that might plummet demand.
To advance in the game, branching out into various industries, getting rid of rival companies and getting connections within governments is as important as managing the company itself. Thus the RP-part.

Country of Origin: Duzkat-Yahaaxitic Commonwealth
Company Type: Start Up
Services Company Provides: All things Ranching using Mesian Livestock (namely Amigichuums - a bioengineered cow like reptile)
Company Traits: Meritocracy, Pre-Established Infastructure
CEO Name + Fluff(if applies): Yax'ich Chukik
His father's mother was a Narsic, his father being born to some of the slaves who were sent over to repopulate the narsic domain after they had suffered during a war, this couple then moved to the Mesian colony during one of its many expansions. This makes him 1/8th narsic and is also the origin of his green eyes, of which he is named after as green eyes are a very rare trait among pure blooded mesians. In his youth he was a hunter who wandered the plains with his two War Caimens (one of which he still keeps as a pet), this is how he learned magic as such crafts are required to be able to tame and command these beasts. During his last hunt (it was not planned to be his last hunt but ended up being that way because of how the event affected him) his group got attacked by Chaos Insects, during this engagement he lost one of his two Caimens and was heavily injured alongside his other living caimen. Thankfully he was screened and confirmed to be untainted after the insects were defeated and he was brought back to a nearby dwarven settlement. After this he bounced around into different jobs, picking up basic Kuxtal wood growing, farming and even mining, giving him a basic understanding of many industries vital to the colony. Eventually he settled down into ranching where he saved up money until he could start a ranching company, with his dream that he could introduce the world to Amigichuums and make a good profit off of it in the process.
His company has been making bank off of improving local ranching infrastructure and has gained many investors along the way, now they are about to execute plans to expand and get the dwarves to start ranching amigichuums, using an initial company investment (free of charge) combined with a contract of long term cuts of profits by ranchers back to the company to expand further, perhaps into other industries just waiting to be profited from. He also plans to expand into the rest of the new world and beyond.

Services Company Provides: Mercenary work, Maps of explored area's.
Company Traits: Meritocracy
Promising Explorers
CEO Name + Fluff(if applies): Floe was once a part of the Firebrand Warriors under Pyre as just another among the many lesser fey involved in that battle, armed with a thin spike. Yet even then, they proved quite capable in martial matters. Among one of the first to come up with the idea of using the Ballista's ammo to destroy them instead of just setting fire to the things, they were also among one of the few to not get killed temporarily or permanently in those raids. Once the orders were given to stop going for the ballista, they'd do what they were ordered to and dispatch enemy leadership or anyone important looking, and they would use up many thin spiked before their orders were further changed, some claiming she even killed one of the 'fey hunters' in that battle. Still, while noteworthy in the siege and Tarn-Dwarven War, their real shining moment was later on, after becoming a fairy noble, and surprisingly against Chaos. Utilizing their natural talents at frost magic, being a fey of ice, they were able to create literal a few literal walls of ice to funnel enemy forces, an idea likely taken from Pyre. And, with this combined with a height advantage given by further ice making, was able to hold off an entire army. (Though, realistically was only a regiment.) This, combined with further success, and the fact she didn't get too badly effected by chaos makes her, arguably, a bit of a hero, abet not as much as Pyre. Shortly after becoming a Queen fairy, she founded the company she has now, wanting to surpass even her old boss and find a few new nice places...(Note, has been known to... embellish stories and is quite prideful.)
CEO Traits(if applies): War hero (Tarn Dwarven War, Chaos Invasion of Caffodwol), Sage, Hidden Affinity.

Company traits:
S - Eureka
- Arcane shards that are connected to a master Core can be used to process, send, and receive information at great speeds over vast distances. These shards can be interacted with via a display that they project on command.

L - Meritocracy

CEO - Sasayaku Sato:
Born to an average family with average abilities, Sasayaku was more skilled with his tongue than the arcane. This did not stop him from dreaming of achieving greatness. His lack of personal affinity for the arts only spurred his studious nature onward, for if he was not born with talent then he’d simply forge it himself. Naturally he would look to his father, a humble golemancer that worked at a local assembly. Attentively he studied, and by the time he reached adulthood he was able to apply all he had learned with his extensive knowledge on the theories of arcana. Ultimately he created the “Arcanet”, a network of semi-sentient crystals that could communicate with one another. With his invention, Sasayaku utilized his social skills to gather a small, yet loyal crew that were inspired to zealotry to aid him in the pursuit of fulfilling his dream.

CEO Traits

q - 6p - Social Savant - can read people really well as well as their mood, a bonus to trade negotiations and employee loyalty

a - 3p - Cult of Personality - you are less Stalin and more Steve jobs. Your employees adore you, any sort of in-company betrayal is unlikely.

Action 1:
His goal may finally begin to be fulfilled, with what we have gained in our cornering of the market in the mesian portion of the colony we may now use to invest in other regions.
>use 15 gold to pay for experts and livestock to sell under contract to ranchers in the Northern Dornian Republic and among the dwarves in the colony in the lowlands and valleys, as that is where amigichuums can be a better investment than goats.
Action 2:
Scout out the markets of the Narsics and the Entomancers, both similar peoples each of which may not have the keen pallets needed to truly enjoy (and demand) the delicious meat of the amigichuum. Be sure to introduce civilians among both races to the meat in order to gouge out exactly what the demand for these products might be. (Use 3 Gold to do this, 1.5 for each market)
Diplo: Dwarven-Mesian Colony
However there are people around the Green Eyed man who worry about the demand which such a product may have. So thus they propose to try to use the leverage they have among the ranchers of the nation to get them to expand westward, where fertile fields ripe for the taking lie, just waiting to be exploited under the safety of the colonial government.
Thus the proposition is sent, the joint government supports this expansion, filling the land with settlers from Yahaaxtic and the homeland and in return the company will help in the process by developing the land. (Purchasing a ranch building)

- They know how amazing kamadani technology is.
- Say that we give the King, as a proof of respect, the 2 first products that will enter the nation : a kamadani clock, and a kamadani golem (aimed for simple tasks).
- Say we want to serve our nation by developping trade and industry, and that a Royal Grant would help us very much to expand faster.

Recently, Floe had been convincing Lesser Fey to join her and getting weapons and other supplies for them to be able to compete with her old boss. The former was much easier than the latter due to her natural way with words and of course the grand feats she had done in the past, but such things do not get thin spikes or razor swords, only coin does... Still, she was able to pull it off. Then again, why would anything else happen? She clearly was a true rival in skill to Pyre, if not even greater, after all, Pyre didn't hold off an entire army, nor was she involved in those little raids on the Ballista, she only gave the orders. Clearly, she was much better than her because she'd be much closer to the fighting than Pyre ever was and that alone proved without a doubt she was superior to her old boss ...Even if she was the only person to realize that at the moment...

Completely accurate and not at all blinded by hubris revelations aside, she'd have some of her fey scout out the lands to the west. It was common for Fairy queens and Chaun kings to found cities and towns they would essentially govern over, and, while she was a fairy queen, usually said queens and kings had a lot more money, fey, and over all resources to do so. However, finding a good spot with resources for some other queen or king to set up a town, or at least a good map of the area to aid anyone who happened to try would be good, as it would allow a fairly quick, if small profit. However, as this happened, Floe herself would be swift to see if there was any work to be done that hadn't already been taken up by Pyre and her firebrand warriors who would be so much better off if she hadn't left their employ...

Its a good thing she kept those thoughts to herself...mostly...

-Never have your eggs in one basket, as they say. If this company is to succeed then we'll need to exploit every opportunity we can get. Scour the markets, there's sure to be demand for a pie we can get a slice of out there.

>Diplo: High Rank Bureaucrats.

As your explorers travel to the strait they encounter a tribe of wild humans. They seem to not have settled the land, but instead are just fishing by throwing spears at fish in the water. The Experts venture fourth to explore new markets. The Dwarves as expected don’t seem to thrilled about the new creature. It has no fur, won’t it fall over dead in the cold? It has no beard, how can I trust it? It has no horns how can it defend itself? You find no success beyond a few uppity nobles.
The Story is very different in North Dorn. While there you notice how they don’t seem to have any form of farm animals beyond hares. Dorn used to be a nation of Fishermen with the Chaos worshiping Central Dornish controlling the seas North Dorn has found itself at a food shortage. The Baron of Imreldys was willing to lend his support, by selling mass amount of meat, but refuses to let the Dornish have their “cows” to produce meat themselves. The Dornish while intimidated by the odd Appearance of the Mesian cattle are soon enthralled thanks to the Explanations from the Expert ranchers. They agree to start importing Amigichuums and their meat starting immediately as long as the Experts stay behind for a while to teach them how to handle the creatures.
Client gained, Market opened: Profits +
Expert Ranchers: Need to be hired as temporary Rancher Teachers +Expenses for 3 turns
Supply: Insufficient (you need to Hire employees 1ce to meet the new supply)

Diplo: As the CEO goes to the government office he is sat in a seat in front of two imposing men one a Dwarf another Mesian. His proposal seems to make little sense to them. “Is he asking us to expand so HE can have more ranches?” one murmurs to another.
“My good sir.” - the Dwarf stands up. - “...you do know that when giving such proposal to the state you should keep in mind it should benefit the state? We can forward the offer to the higher ups, if you let’s say give the state some stocks in your company, wouldn’t that be more reasonable? (-10% profits, request will likely be accepted.)
As the CEO leaves the office a mysterious note is dropped in his pocket saying. “Mesian to Mesian, I am willing to help. For a tiny donation I think I might get your request done.” (bribe, one time payment of 20g, chance of getting discovered: small 1 in 20)

The West Calderian nobility are a magically gifted people, able to check the time of day with no problem by snipping their fingers. Still, the word status symbol resonates with them more than any other. Each Cyclopean clock is different, a masterpiece in itself a rare commodity from a distant land. The Clocks catch on as decorative trinkets among nobility. Traders do not see much purpose for the a tool which costs a fortune, but will fall apart as soon as a stronger wave hits the ship. The administration is fascinated by the product as introducing clocks on a wider scale would help educate the Calderian lower classes, but those fancy ornate clocks won’t do: Demand for Cheap clocks = high

2 – It transmits sound not just images.
3 – The Tarnish government isn’t listening in on everything being said.
Still most people choose to reject the product. Why buy a telecommunication device if no one else has it, who’d I even communicate with? The government and other corporations are interested in bulk buying them though and that might jump start a chain reaction.

Another industry which is in demand within the Narsics Princedom now is letters and packages. Unified letter and package delivery services are rare around the word, but discussions among many Narsics communities are going on: “It’d be really convenient to have one wouldn't it?”

Diplo:
Yes they do appreciate it. They are interested in giving you a research grant for the project for developing features beyond just long-range communication. (for now it’s just a glorified phone)

There is many Quests in either of the Dorns. In the north the is the routine protection of trade routes with Imreldys as well as the hunt for a notorious Lizardian Chieftain in the North west. On the Seas North Dorn is embroiled in crisis as Chaos affiliated Pirates are making trade across the sea near impossible, but your mercenary band is currently too small to take them on.

In Southern Dorn protecting Pilgrims is a job many mercenary companies like. It does not pay much, but is as easy as it gets. Southern Dorn is also looking for Fleet based mercenaries to protect shipments between their mainland and their colonies in the North West.

Its unfortunate that the lands to the west seem to have become a waste, but the important question is if the place was able to be mapped out properly. Still, maps or no, it was probably best to search north rather than west for the time being, seeing how its likely much more lush, well, as lush as the cold north can be, and a lot less...well....corrupted. Still, the information on what happened to the west is important, as chaos corruption is particularly bad for the Fey. If Floe recalled correctly, the people in Rapture and the like were known to be experts at dealing with chaos corruption and removing it... Other than this, even though it wasn't much, they'd accept the job to protect the small caravan. Hopefully, if Floe was lucky, sometime later, someone would come to Caffodwol in search of the firebrand warriors who conveniently disappeared apparently...Actually...What was Pyre doing before she disappeared? If she failed in some sort of mission, surely, she could take advantage of that and potentially succeed where she had failed. That or at least find out what happened to the most famous mercenary group in Caffodwol, even if that title wouldn't last for long. Still, considering the fact she was a proper fey queen, she should be able to find some army official or noble who'd know what happened. After all, Pyre and her firebrand warriors essentially were the army for a good few years...Still, contacting someone high in the military about such matters, as well as chaos corruption a bit too close for comfort would be wise, as it not only could potentially get her more jobs, but it also would possibly tell her what happened to Pyre...

>Action One. Explore North

>Action Two. Prepare some fey to guard a caravan.

>Diplo. Contact one of the highest military officials in Caffodwol...Other than Pyre since she's vanished...(not like she'd go back to her...unless it was to show off and gloat...)

The Council was slightly disappointed. At least we are profitable now.

Company Actions :

> 5g - Check 2 new markets (each check is for 1 country for 1 product)
- Check the demand for Pegasus shipping lines in West Calderia : fast aerial transports, moving goods and people from A to B ! Market it to the postal service, the army, inter-city traders, the administration, and travellers.
- Check the demand for Kamadani telescopes in West Calderia. It will make it easy for non-magical people to see at great distances (and also to magical noblemen if they dont have any see-at-great-distances magical abilities). Market it to traders (the likes of boat captain and caravan leaders), the army, astronomers and other scientists, as a status symbol, and as a novelty to use in fairs.

>10g - Pegasus Ranch and Stable (increases your supply)

Diplomatic actions :

>Accept the bride
- Bring all important people to the meetng, as a gesture of respect.
- Do not talk about the golems. Talk instead about the potential of Cyclopean technology for the economic and military power of the kingdom. It wont replace magic. It will bland with it to make a more powerful nation. Also, it will make the commoners more efficient at work, and administration easier.
- Gift an ornate clock and a pegasus for the King, symbols of our current trade.

>Negociate with a government
- Negociate with Cyclops
- Their clocks are great, don't get us wrong. Even Nobles, who don't need them, love their quality. But the ones who need them the most are asking for cheap and more robust clocks. Would that be possible ?
- What they stand to gain : since I buy from them, more demand = more gold, that they can use to build things or trade with Gorgons. We also have some relations with Noble West Calderians, so maybe we could arrange something with them, like a trip to study the Calderian magic, or something. Anyway we can help, really.

The Experts start working with the North Dornish, the Dornish are receptive, but have a hard time to adapting to the idea of the Cattle being as smart as they are.

Building a new ranch is 20g. I’ll assume you’re doing.

Diplo 1: The action ends without issue.

Diplo 2: The people of North Dorn are confused, they are here to talk about weird scaly cows not about Chaos, but you see some of them visibly flinch at the mention of chaos. Many of the men you are talking with see scratching or grasping various scars they have on their body. It’s then when you’d remember just how recent the War of the Worlds is. Many of the older farmers were soldiers fighting to keep Central Dorn at bay, many of the younger ones children saved from slavery. Those really are not people to whom you need to explain the threat of Chaos too. The mention of the Chaos Swarm sees nods going trough the room, skirmishes with them are a common occurrence and great annoyance. One of the older farmers upon hearing the wish for a good harvest raises a toast to it returning a jovial mood to the meeting.

As you invest the money your bugs start constructing basic burrows to prepare for the construction of a port.

The Warriors enter the Tribe’s village. Spears and basic spells are hurled at the insects, but the technological difference is too much. They barely scratch the warrior who calmly brings the gifts to the city center. The tribe’s elder walks out of his hut and drops his spear starting to worship the Warrior. Something akin to a Cargo-Cult is formed.

Diplo: As Magus Elberton enters the village he’d be surprised to see the tribals treating him as a representative of the Warriors. It’d give him a good chuckle. The first discovery would be that the tribal language is similar to the Entomancer tongue, like Italian to Portuguese allowing for rudimentary communication to be immediately established.

The tribals do not understand your offer. They do not get why they would not be able to fish to begin with or what a uniform is. They do invite the Magus to the evening fertility festival though.

The place was sadly not mapped out properly, but a rough map has been obtained. The North seems to by all means be less corrupted as the attacking Chaos Fey were coming from the South West. Chaos Corruption is indeed more dangerous for fey than other races.

As Floe would travel with the caravan her memory would be proven correct. Eldritch Mages are one of the best weapons against Chaos that we have, sadly Rapture is a town of refugees created to house the most vulnerable of the Church of Rebirth not it’s greatest soldiers, meaning one would need to look further to find a capable Eldritch combat mage.

No matter how much you ask around you can’t really find anyone who knows where they went too. Some fey which were closer affiliated with the Firebrand Warriors would be able to tell you that some of the less fer bragged that: “They got a massive job, but will not a say a squeak more.” and that’s it.

Action 1: When exploring North you manage to for the first time map out the Area properly. It’s an empty land, full of various animals, but devoid of any tribes or indigenous peoples. As you go further and further north you reach a sea stretching as far as you can see. Your explorers return safely with proper maps and tales of a beautiful, yet bland and boring land.

Action 2: The Caravan passes safely and you reach rapture. It being an underwater city only fey capable to live under water can enter it. it’s up to you what you want to do there.

Diplo: You meet with a fey with Emerald hair and chalk-like skin. She is rather distraught at you bringing up the topic “So the rumors have spread that far… ha.. ha...”. She sits down at her desk and slumps over “As you of all people should know Cafoddwol is not a very militaristic nation. In fact our army is a bit of a joke compared to some others. That might sound a bit shameful, but we’ve been relying on being able to hire the Firebrand Warriors in case of emergency. All the Fey which were actually good at fighting joined them… or other mercenary groups. After all the army only waits around for being attacked ourselves you know? Sigh… we don’t know where they are, but by Liri I wish we did.”. She sits up looking at you with a defeated look on whether or not you have anything to say.

Demand for Pegauses is extremely high and basically everyone would love them. Especially the army. In fact the demand is so high you have no way of meeting the demand as Pegasuses are rare within Cyclopean lands and more common in Gorgon lands. You could still make a nice profit selling what you can get your hands on and make up for the small supply by jacking up the prize.

The telescopes are a more niche object. A few nobles want some as a fancy trinkets. Trades see their worth as they can help to be in the look-out for pirates or raiders. A decent market exists for them, one you could safely supply.

The Ranch and Stable is constructed allowing you to both have a higher capacity to transport goods or even sell some of the Pegasuses themselves.

Diplo 1: The officials hear you out and accept the gifts which are soon brought over to the King. They nod along happily, but do not seem to understand the implications those technologies could really have. The meeting is nearing it’s end and your representatives do not really feel, like they achieved something. Then a messenger bursts trough the door. They are to get ready immediately. They are having an audience with them King himself. (continue talking with the King next turn)

Diplo 2: You meet with an old master of Clockwork. A cyclops proud in his craft and eldest among the Clock makers. At first he is insulted by the idea of asking for “worse” clocks, but then he waddles over towards a cave where something is stored. Piles and piles of clocks which look misshapen and frankly ugly “A youngiling needs to learn, and they learn by making mistakes. Here these mistakes are. To ask a Cyclops to make an inferior product is an insult, but you can have those. Some of them work, some of them don’t. They are cheap and plenty. You can probably fix them up with your magic wabalaginx can’t you?”
Then the cyclops sits down and contemplates.
“I don’t get why you tiny folk like gold so much. It’s not that good of a material frankly… but there is something else I we might want. I wish you bring us swords an other weapons, as that seems to be the highest form craftsmanship on the continent. Though once we learn of what we want we’ll ask for something new.” ~you can get a steady supply of cheap clocks for selling Calderian Weapons to the Cyclops for 4-6 turns

It was quite annoying how smug it seemed some of the lesser fey from the firebrand warriors were about their little 'job' that they informed their friends about and has seen them up and vanish for...how long now?...Regardless, the information, despite being limited was useful, it at least meant that Cafoddwol would likely rely on her talents for some time. Naturally, seeing how it was in her best interest, some more exploration of the land not owned by Cafoddwol would be done, this time the unclaimed land of the north east near those two small lakes. Maybe if they found something worthwhile their maps and exploration would become worthwhile...Then again, it didn't really matter if it did, as whatever unclaimed land was out there when Floe had the resources for it would become a nice little fortress for herself, and maybe like some other queen fairies, it'd become a proper town, solidifying her position as better than Pyre by the mere fact she ran a town and Pyre didn't...Though that's something for the future, the far future...

However, at the moment, Floe had other matters to focus on, like her payment for guarding that caravan, getting a new job for her mercenaries, and simply talking to to the fey in front of her...Most definitely not in that order. "Well, while they are gone, I can do what is required to an extent. I know my current band of mercenaries is not as large as her own, but I'm sure in time that will change. However, there was another reason I came here, other than about what happened to the Firebrand Warriors, specifically to the west of Moncarreni. As you are well aware, that invasion I easily and effectively helped hold off was by forces of chaos, and unfortunately, my explorers have found that they have tainted the lands there. In fact, there's even chaos fey there according to those explorers. If at all possible, it might be best to get some who know eldrich magic to try and remove the corruption, as not only will it help keep us safer, but also allow the land to recover, and be potentially useful for any king chaun or queen fairy who wants to make a new settlement." It also would, potentially, be quite a nice boost to her companies renown and get her a good job fighting against those chaos fey, hopefully with decent payment.

>Action One. Explore the east, the northish east, the east of Moncarreni not claimed by their neighbor.

>Action Two. Get a new job if available...and finish up the caravan guarding one.

They vanished for about 4 months. (making towns is late game stuff).

Diplo 1: "We did know about the corruption... without Pyre around it kept creeping closer and closer to our borders. It'll be hard fighting them without an Eldritch mage as Chaos corruption spreads like wildfire among fey. I don't mind your band to take the job and you will be rewarded appropriately, but if you don't prepare properly don't blame me when things go wrong. (recommended: hire eldritch mages + expand mercenary forces)

Action 1: You explorers encounter tribes of wild fey. They live lives even more primitive to the Fey and Chaun Kingdoms predating Liri. They seem to worship a very classic form of druidism.

The tribes seem to self-segregate by type of fairy each tribe containing only one type. Their tongue would be incomprehensible to you, but it'd be clear that they all speak one tongue. The land itself seems to be as full with magic as Cafoddwol and felt like a natural extension of the country possibly forgotten over time.

Action 2: You finish the job guarding the caravan and return to Cafoddwol. Your search for a job is not amiss. There has been nothing Cafoddwol as before, but one of the Ocean Fey claims that the Church of Rebirth might have a job for them. It's to hunt down some pirates, apparently some Northlundians thought it'd be a good time to reconnect with their old traditions and form some pirate bands and go raid Church lands. Hunting down these relics of the past would be greatly appreciated by the people of Rapoture who relay on shipments from the mainland.

The nobles are happy to have the history of their families imprinted into books. Many of them are especially eager as no other publisher could talk about the heroic exploits of their ancestors during the Eldritch War, as the current culture of Sarinthia views joining the Church of Rebirth as the greatest shame of the nation. Imagine if like modern Germany where all nazis are to been as evil and any positive mention of the ideology will see you imprisoned. Some of the older Sarinthians see it as hard to open up about their war exploits, they remember how they had to hide after the war, how they would be executed on the spot if it was found out that they were in the Sarinthian army at the time… but slowly they start to open up. Open up about what they saw during the war, about their personal experiences and struggles and about how much it hurt to have to pretend to never have experienced the loving embrace of the Rebirther after the war. Those are stories no one beyond immediate family ever heard before.

The delivery of the printer trough underground channels fails as the undead transporting it are attacked by Chaos Rattakians. The Church of Reibrth feels awfully sorry, but can’t just give another expensive printer for free as a replacement, but are willing to sell the next one for half the prize.

The increase of the prize is not noticed by most, but some start grumbling. “If they have money to just give away, why do they need to increase the prize?”

The blacksmiths seem to dislike the lack of craftsmanship and heart in them, but wonder how a 1000 different swords made by different smiths can all look so similar? In the end they choose to buy some just because of this question plaguing them.

Pegasus shipping finds a marked especially among the Mesians of the Calderian nation. Decades may have passed, but many of them still miss the convenience of a delivery service. It is slowly starting to catch on. You do need to hire more workers to meet the steadily growing demand.

Diplo 1: Your diplomats enter the Castle and the throne room. You notice the once ornate castle floor being now covered in a layer or iron and the king sitting on the throne in very tick armor, I mean a peace of armor weighing about a ton. With a helmet laying besides him, the helmet has at it’s bottom a screw like pattern implying that to put it on the armory ou need to screw it in. Besides the king sits a Dwarf in a dress. It’s frankly hard to tell a female Dwarf from a male one, but you are sure this one is female by the fact that’s she’s wearing a Calderian dress. The King stands up and you can hear the machinery churning within is suit as he walks, possibly to show off he walks in stomps leaving dents in the steel floor. “I am King Blu Nashet, Son of Cian and Moraine Nashet, second King of Calderia. You work with the Cyclops and thus it’s not hard for you to see that this piece of armor is something they contributed in creating. It’s an artifact of unprecedented power for I am the first Calderian to beat a Great in a duel without being one (he glances at his sister who is the hero he defeated). As such I see the need for your Technology, our nation barely has a dozen Greats while the Empire has thousands. You shall get 120 gold in government support, but nothing is free. You shall never open trade with the empire and you shall report to us everything you learn of the cyclops, and you better try to learn a lot (try to befriend the Council and over time gain access to other parts of the Cyclopean isles). Dismissed.”

Your representatives leave in a hurry, as they travel back to report the current events they find that they have been given 130g.

Diplo 2: All goes fine

Diplo 3: Many Gorgons come to Companous, but they also have access to all the goods the Cyclops have for sale. In a rush you explain to them that you also have goods from Calderia showing off the weapons. They reluctantly agree to hold a meeting against next turn where you can propose various Calderian products to see whether or not any of them would interest them.

Your investment in the Prison colony pays off. The Prison guards are always looking for ways to keep those crazy cultists at bay. Using giant insects as guard dogs should make them easier to control. Your trade relationship with the Prison Colony will be long and prosperous.

The Experiment... brings weird results. The pheromone starts slowly meting the for leaf which then start exuding a toxic smell. No matter how crazy your researchers are as soon as the volunteers see the substance they abandon the money given to them and leave. A mix of insect pheromone and semi-alcoholic leaf created what can be in short described as "Rasthour Gas" a foul smelling gas which seems to quickly suffocate and kill anyone breathing it in for a period of time."

Diplo: The Wardens thing you're annoying. The locals enjoyed the orgy. The fact that your worker bioaugmented his dick finally paid off.

In Imreldys you can't really find anyone to really talk too. People seem to be dismissive or rather even rude. The mention of your weird scaly bovine is usually met with hostility. After an overzealous Imeryldian ranger gives your delegate a black eye he decides that this probably is not a market with good prospects after-all.

In Northlund the people seem interested, especially as most cattle (like Sarinthian cattle) can't survive in the frigid cold that plagues most of the nation. Their smiles turn to frowns as it's pretty clear that the Mesian bovine would not be able to survive the cold either, where Sarinthian Cattle is already common in Southern Northlund.

Theocratic Dorn is mostly a fishing nation, but from what you see most of their grasslands are unoccupied and in an age where Central Dorn seems to dominate the sees more and more Dornish see the value in keeping cattle around.

The Fey of Cafoddwol are always happy to try new food... but they eat it only for the taste not nutritional value. The demand is definitely there, but the question is how long it would stay. Weirdly enough a lot of the Fey seem to like the idea of keeping a Mesian Bovine as a pet. The creatures seem easy to please, but also wise. Lika a companion you can always come back too and rely on; weirdly enough.

"Ah, well in that case I should deal with it sooner than later. And don't worry about me preparing properly. I've dealt with chaos plenty of times before. I'll be fine. Though, I do know that my mercenary company is...likely too small for the task. I myself can't be everywhere at once after all. Still, I promise you it will be done sooner than later." Floe would say, essentially accepting the job, yet obviously she'd prepare. With the news that there was another job for her in the form of hunting down some pirates, she'd be all to happy to jump at the chance and prepare for that, as that was something she certainly could do. Besides, she needed to go to eldritch lands for some mages as well...Though, maybe getting Eldrich fey would be better in the long run. They come back, unlike the peoples of other mercenary groups...

Meanwhile, the news of wild fey is...interesting. Their knowledge could be given to Liri, or at least someone who could give it to Liri like Aurora in the future. For now, the maps are enough. Though, there'd likely be a lot more visits later, possibly with those noble fey diplomats, like that lucky one, once Liri knew of them.

>Action One. Prepare and head out to take the job to take care of some pirates. Naturally, Floe can lead her forces to battle...If they can find them. They likely were going to get a lot of ocean/sea fey by the end of this...At least a hundred or so.

Guarding the Pilgrims goes relatively well, there is bandits lurking around the Pilgrimage path, but they know how to recognize mercenaries and to not approach when they see them. In the end the job is rather dull an annoying. You see yourself babysitting the Pilgrims rather than protecting them from attackers. You keep them from eating poisonous berries and trying to wash their face in Myula Acid. Finally after a long journey they give you your cash, say they will pray for you and you are left to ponder your next job.

As you return from guarding Pilgrims you board your ships and sail out to protect colonial shipments to the colonies of Southern Dorn. The waters of the Dorn Sea are as harsh as always and it is in the midst of a mild storm that you see a white steel ship sailing towards you. It brandishes the insignia of the Kingdom of Dorn. The ship is made out of steel and bigger than any ship either North or South Dorn possesses. As the ship approaches you can hear the chaotic chanting of the chained up angels. The enemy is approaching.
Enemy - Red ship
You - 3 black ships
Supply Ships - many purple ships

Now you need to describe how you attempt to combat the enemy ship and that will basically decide alongside some rolls if you win or loose the naval battle.

You do know that the Chained up Angels are minor Demons which can fly and pounce onto your ship. You also do know that your 3 ships are about even evenly matched with that 1. The offensive power of your ships and enemy ships is comparable, but the Central Dornish ship has much higher defenses, but exchanges maneuverability for that (not speed though if just going straight it's faster than you).

As Floe and the other fey fly over the ocean they in fact have a hard time figuring out there the Northlundians come from. After weeks of asking around, following tracks and magical fiddling around Floe and her group have finally located the hide out of the Northlundian Pirates. As you prepare for an all out battle you slowly notice the silence this place exudes “Silence? And so much of it, if those guys are Northlundian, they certainly don’t sound like it.”

Floe sends in some scouts and they return with surprising news. The place is empty. There is no one there and it was vacated with haste as some of their equipment and stolen goods still remain.

There certainly is more than a few Eldritch mages willing to take the job. It’s really not hard to find one especially in the lands of the Church of Rebirth. A group of 50 of them seems especially promising. They have even had some experience with working with the inquisition, before hey take the job they demand 10g for buying some Uwuin’taipan scrolls with exorcism magic in them. (you can either choose the 50 elites or just run of-the-mill eldritch mages to take along)

Diplo: The Army official is more than happy to take you up on your offer and promises a hefty reward if you actually manage to keep Chaos at bay.

>Meeting with the Gorgons
- They seem skeptical about us, so we are polite, and straight to the point.
- What we do is Import-Export. For now, it is between the Cyclops and West Calderia. But we want to reach further.
- So we are interested in all you can sell to us. We will find demand somewhere, eventually.
- For now thought, we would like clocks. Mainly special clocks. Simple, cheap and robusts ones. Our buyers don't have the means to purchase more elaborate ones, apart from a few nobles. If you find it more motivating, you can look at it as an artistic challenge. You are able to do masterpieces with a simple material : stone. Maybe the needed simplicity of construction of the clocks we want will inspire you to create something you can be proud of, nevertheless.
- In exchange, of course you are already trading with Cyclops, but we can provide to you most goods you desire from the Kingdom. Maybe you could be interested in Calderian fashion, jewelry, Arts, craftmanship, or spells. We can provide. Maybe you are interested in other nations goods. As soon as we are to enter a trade deal with them, We can provide too. You know that the Kingdom of Calderia do already possess many allies, it would surely be easy to trade with them.
- Why dont we deal with the Cyclops instead ? We already do. They give us cheap clocks. But these are the results of apprentices mistake. We hoped you could provide better ones.
- Also, you would get increased gold from increased demand for goods, since we would buy from you.

- However, our relationship with the island seem a little bit one-sided. Since your people are neither after gold or Calderian weapons, what are you even getting from us being there ?
- This why we want to bring back to the community, and help you there, at least in Companeous, in whatever ways we can. We could use our trade capacity, our personnel, and some of our financial means to do something for you.

Actions:
- The people have gotten a taste of what we have to offer, and with the desire for Arcanet spreading like wildfire, it's time to switch tactics. We can't meet everyone's demand, but we can meet those for the right ammount. Let's raise the price of the product, sure it'll scare away some potential customers but what use is it anyways if we have nothing to sell to them? Plus, I don't know about you guys, but I think we can all do with a little more breathing room and some extra gold.

- Invest the gold we have into a new research facility. We're a bit off from the total we need, but this is where banks come in handy. Apply for a loan and let's get the rest we need to finish this glorious project. Part of the fun is taking risks to move towards the future after all, so why not live it up and jump in the deep end every once in a while? I'm sure it will be well worth it in the end.

>Diplo: Bureaucrats (continued)
Of course the state would be curious as to what's been happening with their investment. Who wouldn't be? Naturally it's Genkaku Sutekka pressing this question. He's served the Princedom for years, and it shows. His face is old, yet distinguished, but to the contrast his eyes hold a sharp brightness equivalent to a youth's. A reputation for being a person not to tolerate shenanigans and being as serious as they come follows him, but he undoubtedly gets results and carries a lot of respect within the Bureau. Sasayaku relaxes back in his chair and looks holds his gaze at Genkaku.
"You strike me as the prudent sort, so perhaps you'll appreciate my methods. Think of it like this, a business is no different from a living being. Just like a person, it requires lifeblood to course through its veins or it will wither and die. In this case, the lifeblood would be capital. Before we could look to the development, we had to secure a steady stream of income to reliably operate the facility. After all, we wouldn't be able to reach tomorrow if we went bankrupt today, now would we? The grant given was generous indeed, you have my gratitude for it and I shall deliver, rest assured. In fact, our next project is the facility in question. All I ask for is just another small investment from your part: patience."

>Diplo: Nobles (new)
The nobles hold a lot of influence, not only in the world of business but among the public as well. It would only make sense to rub elbows with them, as some doors will only open for people with status. How better to get some than from the people who already have it in spades. I'll pay some of them a visit, the rich do so enjoy having the latest and shiniest things. Perhaps they'll be interested in what we have to offer, if not for themselves then perhaps their own enterprises.

You manage to hire some new employees. With the renown of your company growing in West Calderia it is not hard to find interested workers anymore and the percentage of Noblemen among them seems to be growing. As expected the Nobles flock to where the prestige and profit is.

The Telescopes start spreading, while mostly liked by Sailors and Merchants they are also a useful trinket for Astrologists and well shady people wishing to observe other's from afar.

Diplo 1: The Gorgon lady you are discussing with is sitting with her legs crossed c=stroking her head snakes seemingly not very interested in what you are saying. "Buisness, is a form of art, like any other. To know when to buy and when to sell is a rhythm. To know what to sell and to whom is the instrument... and I must say... I'm hearing an interesting song."
She levitates objects you brought to show off slowly to herself and looks at them one, by one. "I certainly can ssssell you some clocks, but you are asking me to abandon the art in making them. You need to make that up to me don't you think?"
She looks over the various objects again and various pieces of Calderian art catch her eye. "You can have your clocks, just make sure, any piece of art you bring in is shown to me first, that goes for fashion obviously as well."
(Your clock supply is safe and you gained an ally in a rich Gorgon lady)

Diplo 2: Fílos answers simply "Gold is always useful or might be one day. Don't think much of it little one. If a Cyclops can think of anything he needs he can make it, and if he can't think of anything why bother him? We are a friendly people just continue as before."

It seems as if all Cyclops seem to give you a similar answer. That is all those who don't just run away when you try to start a conversation. The only people who can go past beyond the walls of Companeous seem to be the Gorgons, though from what they say it's not too far either. Slowly over time you hear of one exception "The Prooving grounds and Uwuin'taipan", the Primarch of the Prooving grounds seems to have given the Uwuin'taipan a unique permission to visit there in spite of the ban by the Seers. Though that exception has been Ignored since the Cyclops homeland flew up into the sky. Your employees calculate the costs and see that opening a Sky-Ferry business between Uwuin'taipan lands and the Proving grounds could only be ran at a loss, but it seems like the best way to meet the King's demands.

Another way you can think off is to get a sufficient number of Gorgon Employees and collect their reports, but who knows how long until you can trust new hires with such a quest.

The poor are sad the rich are happy... but you know who surprisingly isn't happy about the prize spike? The family companies you negotiated first with. They were promised that they will get a quickly growing distribution network for their product, yet now the prize of the Arcanet is bound to scare away potential customers, right? Your CEO gets quite a few visits from disgruntled business partners.

The new research facility is constructed. State of the art Narsician technology and magic. A way towards a brighter future. And whether by luck or trough skill, no loan was necessary to complete the project.

Diplo 1: Genkaku has a shrewd smile on his face, but calmly answers "Of, course.". Then you slowly realize what the Diplomat's ultimatum truly meant... does he really want your business to be profitable... or rather would the Narsician state prefer you to always come back longing for their money... until all that technology you created falls into the ownership of the Prince. Genkaku continues "I do not make the rules. You got a grant to build a facility, so build said facility. Otherwise return the grant.". He motions for you to leave ending the exchange.

Diplo 2: Most of the Nobles you seem to visit already own Arcanet and seem more interested in asking you about how it works than anything you have to say to them. Narsicians are known for their curiosity. Other nobles show off their magic skill creating grand displays of many forms of magic before condensing it into a ball of mixed mana for you to try. Those are odd magic spells devised for their taste rather than any proper magical application. Thus you sadly leave empty handed.

As your Warriors stumble deeper and deeper into the jungle they encounter many various tribes. Orks, Humans, Fey... all seem to be in an eternal state of war. Their wars seem nearly ritualistic as if they are practicing instead of truly fighting... it's an odd culture. One which possibly may have ties to Chaos. Your bugs retreat after the natives try attacking them, mainly because these natives actually have enough firepower to kill one Warrior.

You find both great interest among the eternally warring Skaven and the eternally vigilant W. Calderians. The Calderian state itself wishes to buy the war gases while every warring tribe among the Skaven wants accesses to it.

A small Clay-Laiden underground Port is established where Skaven tribes will buy the War gas.

West Calderia will pick it up from the Prison Colony because it's convenient for both of you.

OK you scouted interest in both. Now you need to establish trade with both. Then you'll make profits.

Well...this was...strange. Absolutely no one was there...This meant one of two things. Either, they clearly ran away once they realized that Floe and her new mercenary company were coming after them, or this was a trap...Needless to say, she'd have the most keen eye'd fey on the look out for either tracks to where they could have gone, or if they were nearby. Either way, once all the goods they left behind were accounted for, or tracks were found, or both, they'd head out to try and find where they ran off to and deal with them, making good use of fairies to fly and run scouting to try and find them, their composition, and other such things. With any luck, they'd be found and dealt with swiftly. And, once dealt with, and their stolen goods secured. The stolen goods would be returned back, and the non stolen goods they had for the most part sold unless something particularly noteworthy was found.

Meanwhile, they'd swiftly hire the mages. They would be expensive, but they'd be worth it. After all, purifying all the lands to the west would be best, both for future colonization and protecting against any future incursions by chaos...

As you wait inside the Pirate Hideout for your scouts to return explosions go off with the secured stolen goods. Dwarven Gunpowder and Tarnish Amalgamat has been hidden deep within the crates among the stolen goods. The shaking from trying to move them (paritcularly of trying to put them back down) was what set off the explosion. Amalgamat is an Anti-Undead weapon. The metal absorbs magic energy and transforms it into heat until it completely melts at about 2000C. The Undead being kept alive by magic have any Amalgamat lodged in them melt burning trough their flesh. This is also the case for Fairies as they are beings comprised basically of magic, so while the explosion itself only damages a few fey, the Amalgamat is burning itself into their flesh. (I guess fire fey are immune).
During the Chaos Floe would look to wards the exit of the cage seeing the Northlundian Pirates approach…, but none of her scouts returned yet. How could that be? Before she can finish thinking of the question, here comes the answer. The ships have Balistas and a volley of giant arrows tears trough the lines of the confused fey. Thank Liri, Floe anticipated a trap and had some fey hide in the bushes outside the cave or this battle would have been basically lost.
Description: The exit of the cave is relatively low and narrow being fully blocked by the Northlundian Pirates. On one of the ships in the 2nd row you can see Karl Swenson also known as Captain 4 Horns as he has two Horns on his Northlundian helmet and 2 sticking out from his for head as he is the Child of a Northlundian and a Pit Devil (no affiliation to Chaos). This implies he is a magic user. All of his ships are classic Northlundian rowing boats except for the 2 Dornish Batista on each of it. The Pirates did not expect to fight Fey, but rather undead as such they have mainly Steel or Amalagamat weapons, but no cold Iron. They also do not know about the smaller fey Units hidden outside of the Cave. (based on that can the picture you can describe what you do and then rolls + that will describe the outcome of the battle)

There is no Problem hiring the Eldritch mages they will go buy some scrolls in Sarinthia and then Meet you in Cafoddwol ready to depart for the subjugation of the Chaos Fey whenever you are ready.

A release hose is a bit much, but you can make canisters which break upon impact releasing the pressurized neurotoxin. The product is a huge hit skyrocketing your profit, ith current demand your supply of the Narsician Leaf can last you for 3 turns, but more likely only 2.

You visit the same Narsician trader you last met and he is curious to taste the neat type of Rasuva you created, but has no problem waiting and happily becomes your supplier of the plant. (negotiating for someone to be a supplier for you can be done trough diplo, it increases your expenses but is free to do)

Diplo: The tribe elder looks at your representative and starts explaining how their tribe is “refugees”, escaping the conflict said tribes are embroiled in. What follows is a long near mythical tale of how those people started slowly going insane and falling into the worship of some Wolfheaded entity and how his tribe was forced to leave and live in this less fertile land. He can’t think of any shiny rocks, but there is this large rocks made of slightly growing red stone, then there also is the Fireant Fruit. Not really a fruit rather a hive where many bee-like insects reside. If one takes said hive and puts it under water all the insects will leave leaving behind just the sweet honey-like hive. It is also a good way to fish as the leaving insects attract fish.

As you read trough the libraries you notice the works of a Dwarven biologist Duzkat von Duzkvat, he seems to have researched many types of plants and animals which seem useful. Like a parasitic plant which implants itself in animals and grows sweet fruit. Or a singing monkey whose all songs seem to make any spell cast have random unexpected results… now where does the book mention though where said marvels of nature can be found. But what it does say is where Duzkat von Duzkvat can be found.

You spend time in Northern Dorn learning their customs and traditions. The ties between your company and locals strengthens, as such grows brand loyalty.

Fingers trace over minor errors with pencil and pen, the small sound of finely dressed elves making corrections, fixing the minor mistakes in printing and making sure the device is kept in good order keeps everything busy.

The faint hum in the air, the energy that tingles down a spine, a small smile on a workers face, a cultist's face, being watched by the building they were in.

People had been...distressed at the loss of the new printer and nothing had been done for a turn besides usual business because of it.

1. The 3 naval vessels split, encircling the iron ship. They would kite around it, keeping their distance and begin loading their tri-ballistae with trademark Dornish artificed bolts. The initial volleys would consist of acid artificing to wear away at the armor, as the acids aren't strong enough to eat all the way though. Fortunately, that's enough for Explosive artificing to be at it's most effective. They would hail down upon the iron ship, blowing holes through weakened armor plating. North Dorn marines would be ready to repel borders.

Your business Expands into the lands of the Church of Rebirth finding moderate success. The market for printed goods is rather saturated there already considering it's the home of the printing press. You know nothing concrete, but you hear rumors that Idyllic Corruption might be a fertile ground for your business. and a place where you can operate legally too!

The gathering goes well. For a lot of people it's a good time to relax and talk freely. Something they can't really do in wider Sarinthian society. You manage to make more than friends, you meet two old acquaintances which fought alongside you in the World war. They are both still living, but very old Sarinthians, neither of them mind accept the state of undeath... but they don't want to leave their families behind. A an undead their bodies will be healthy again and life will have much more to offer... but how long will they have to wait before they get to see their loved ones after that? The mood at the party turns rather somber and after a while most of the guests disband and return to their respective homes. During the party you hear some interesting news "Imreldys seems to be experiencing quite a bit of economic turmoil recently."

Diplo: The Nobles have to politely refuse "Chaos operates on the black market, the same place where you do. While none of us wish for it to spread... you would be affected by it quite a bit yourself. Not to mention... do you know how big the turmoil would be if we accused the Dwarves of disguising themselves as Chaos worshipers to infiltrate our land? Do you think it's really worth it?"

Your tactic at first confuses the enemy commander, but he soon learns it merely is a carousel and shoots his own tri-ballistae with trademark Dornish artificed bolts right back at you. As you keep peppering the ship with shots, water starts leaking into it and unlike a wooden boat, if that happens it's bound to sink.

The Enslaved Angles leap on one of your ships, using their trimmed wings to propel their jump. Your marines manage to shoot most of them down before they land, but the last few overwhelm the crew stopping the ship in it's tracks. The Sinking ship of the forces of Chaos as if reinvigorated by leaps forward pushed by the storm ramming it's metallic front into the enemy shit like a crow it's beak into a frog's intestine. The two ships sink leaving some of your men and some of the Chaos cultists swimming in the sea.

Two of your ships survived though with some major holes in them. The Spriest from South Dorn manages to contain or cleanse most of the Chaos taint, but 3 of your men were bitten by the Slave Angels and can not be treated by this minor priest and likely won't make it even if you tried turning straight back to Southern Dorn.

The Battle was won and the storm clears and you will get a small bonus for defeating a vessel belong to the forces of Chaos.

> *fighting in a battle is not an action it is counted as a Diplo action as such it's free if you are not the one starting it

You prepare thoroughly, refurbishing lost men, replacing the lost ship and asking around for any news of the layout of the terrain. You will probably require more men if you wish to take on the Lizardmen without much risk.

*the new ship you got in Southern Dorn seems a bit inferior in therms of speed, but has some magic seals on it to lessen the impact of magical attacks on it

-Now this is what I'm talking about. You practically walk into tomorrow when you step through the doors of our brand-spanking new research facility. Here, countless innovations will be born! Of which, it's time to get cracking on the first one. The Arcanet can send and receive images and sounds, but perhaps we can expand these features a little bit. The people mentioned they wanted a postal service, right? Mirai Express handles mostly delivery of packages, we don't have nearly the manpower to run after letters as well. Let's develop a medium for allowing simple communication through a messaging service,

-Hubris has been the downfall of many men. I have the utmost confidence in both our product and our staff, but there's always room for improvement. Have a survey sent to our customers asking them how they find our services, what they think we can do better, and what features they might like to see added to our services and product. We might be in the business of making money, but our first priority should always be the customer. Without them we'd be on the streets, so let's make sure we take care of them!

>Diplo: Partners (free)
As they approach Sasayaku he listens calmly to their complaints, taking them in one after the other. After the first few, they all start sounding exactly the same, but he patiently endures it none the less and offers them the patience they deserve. After they've said their peace, he explains to them " I hear you, I really do, but don't worry. Your growth isn't going to be impacted at all. Let me put it like this. Let's say you only have 10 apples, but 100 people want an apple. You can only feed 10 people, so how do you choose? Well, you hike up the price! Even if you lose 20 people, you still only have 10 apples, and 80 people looking to buy them. Trust me, we'll always be looking out for you"

They certainly know their stuff, and my oh my can they whoop up a tasty treat. I'm always one to appreciate a curious mind, and they certainly have plenty of it. Why not indulge them a little. As the request is sent out some wizards show up. They are always up for some experimenting. Especially as the new honeylike substance might go well with the Breadbugs (a type of bug entomancers eat raw which tastes like bread). With some experimenting they figure out how make all of this work it's simple, give the weird ants some meat, water and oil and they make their thing. And of course as good old entomancer custom entails, the Fire Antbees are now as big as a cat each with their nest filling an entire large room. That can't really be submerged, but you can use your useful wargas to put them to sleep as you extract the honey, the insects wake up and start rebuilding their lost home.

A messaging service is developed, with an integrated Narsician alphabet. Long text messages can now be sent trough the app. For now the drop in delivered post has been small, but you suspect letters might soon mostly fall out of fashion causing minor losses.

The customers seem to generally enjoy it. They wish it was less expensive, obviously. They also wish it had some sort of "mana containment unit" because it is annoying to always have to be sending mana into it to work.

Well, this was annoying. It was a trap, but the supplies were rigged to explode, violently. The fey hit by the stuff are few, seeing how the majority of her forces were lesser fey and she had at most twenty noble fey under her, however, those hit usually would be quick to dissipate and 'die', even if they'd likely come back in a day or two. Still, Floe had an advantage, in fact she had a lot of them despite the situation. For one, she had herself, secondly the fey outside, thirdly, the only chauns she had with her were in an auxiliary role, seeing how they couldn't fly and were naturally attuned to metals and maintaining them. So, she'd do something simple. She'd utilize her magic to create a large block of ice, shatter it, and send the shards flying at the enemy forces. Then they'd order the Razor Swordsfey to fly in and charge, as a swarm of small creatures with blades bigger than them hacking into you and then going on to the next person and not stopping tends to be quite effective against those without metal armor. Those with metal armor would be focused on by the Thinspikers. While she couldn't communicate with them at the moment, hopefully the forces outside would come in on the flanks or behind the other force and cause more disruption. As this went on, Floe and the noble fey with her would get into combat as well, Floe specifically aiming to get into combat with and slay their leader. After all, she was quite skilled at this, and could easily further utilize her weapons and magic to slaughter the poor pirate, if the thinspikers and other fey didn't get to him first...

Diplo 1: "Ui, of coursssse. My aid isss guaranteed." - she says while eyeing all the goods shipped from Calderia

Diplo 2: The Seers really don't want to talk about it just mumble how those cyclops are muscle brains. You see trainees from the Prooving Grounds sometimes visit Companous, they are basically walking piles of muscle always engaged in some sort of training or light jog.

Old Calderian records mention how the Uwuin'taipan think that the Cyclops are a somewhat primitive people, but a warrior race. Implying the way they meet the Cyclops is different to all other people's. The books also describe Cian's visit to the island and the small tournament held there interrupted by the the events of the Sunrise Invassion.

As the ice blocks pepper the enemy most of them go down before realizing what is happening the rest hide behind the sturdy wood of the boat, ducking down.

The fey charge in Razors ready, the Northlundian Pirates are ambushed from all sides at once... but then again to charge in on Northlundians in melee is something that rarely ends well. The burly men throw aside their axes to exchange it for the mobility of their fists trying to quickly punch each incoming fey as if it were a fly. Both sides seem to be exchanging blows somewhat evenly at that point, but Captain Fourhorns stands still without movement, the lesser fey seemingly ignoring him completely as he screams orders to his men.

The Thinspikers have a hard time doing their job. The Northlundians with armor are also the elite meaning they can defend themselves. The battle is pretty dire as continous fire from Balistas is forcing the fey to always be on the move.

That's when Floe in. Seemingly ready to turn the tide of the battle herself. She blows trough the lesser Northlundians as if they were barely there and goes straight for the Captain, but as she attempts to attack him... he dissolves? An arm hits her head from the top ramming it into the wood of the boat.

Seeing that her fey become distracted and the Northlundians raise a roar of war. Floe raises her head to see her compatriots being crushed impaled and hacked... she knows they will return, but it's still hard to look at. A violent rage overcomes her and ice spikes rip the ship she is currently on to shreds. The see around them turn to ice. She was supposed to be the strongest right? The stopper of armies? Hero to surpass Pyre herself.. NO FUCKING WAY SHELL FAIL HERE.

As in in a trance Floe starts slaughtering the Northlundians. Freezing their blood, exploding their flesh by growing out ice and ripping their ships apart. She eventually finds herself along and collapses. She floats on a peace of wood from a Northlundian wreckage for a few days before an Eldritch merchant vessel picks her up. Floe alone dealt a massive blow to the Fourhorn Pirates, but they escaped.

> Floe gains the trait: Berserker
Her personality does not seem changed in fact not much seems to have changed. But if sufficiently angered or desperate she will loose herself in a fit of fury. In that state her skin becomes like armor, her physical and magic power also get drastically amplified, but she starts fighting like a wild beast with no tactics and having a hard time distinguishing friend from foe.

Rage can do a lot, especially for magic...And for a being made up of so much magic and exceptionally skilled in utilizing it well...It's no surprise what would happen. However, there's only so much anger can do to keep one standing, especially when exhausted and spent magically speaking.

For a time, she'd drift in and out of consciousness on the bit of flotsam she was on until some time after she got picked up by a merchant vessel. Almost as soon as she fully regained consciousness she'd explain, to an extent, what had happened, how she expected a trap, and how something clicked and she broke into a raw fury and dealt with all of them that she could see by herself before collapsing on the chunk of the ships she destroyed. She'd also embelish the skill and power of their leader, for obvious reasons, and mention how, while they got away, she wasn't going to just let them go and gather their strength. Of course, she'd thank them for actually picking her up, but after she'd fly off, abet a bit weakened for a time.

She'd return to where they were before, somewhat careful to make sure they had abandoned their old hideout, and then, if they did, simply would rest for a short time as some of the fey under her started to return. Naturally, she'd explain what happened as she did to the merchants, but after would do a certain ritual. It was likely a bit late for it to be of much use, but every bit helps, and she had a feeling that, while she wasn't going to give them much respite, they were going to try and prepare for her arrival.

Once all the fey were back and everyone reorganized, it was time to head out to deal with these pirates once and for all. And considering their losses likely wouldn't be anywhere nearly as easily replaced, it'd be much easier to deal with them. Besides, she wanted to fight their leader personally rather than him use some kind of illusion, knock her over the head, and vanish.

>Action One. Do the ritual to create new fey in the old hide out the pirates had.

>Action Two. Find the pirates again. They aren't getting away that easily...It'd likely take a lot more time to regroup if her soldiers didn't consist of fey, or their enemy used cold/pure iron, but that's not a problem right now...It might be in the next fight though.

Thinking back to the events floe would feel as if a candle lit up in her head "Ilusion". She would recall how her scouts were taken out and even after revival can't tell where they were shot at. She is thinking on how no one noticed the approaching boats... untill some sort of spell was released. Fourhorns is an illusion spell user! What a foul creature, she would have expected something... more flashy from a Pirate!

The ritual is slowly conducted and magic from the area is drawn together to give birth to new fey. A vast majority of them are Ocean Fey, but a few are something odd "Cave Fey". They have batlike wings and very big ears. The new fey are not enough to be counted as a new regiment.

In all honesty you don't really know "how" to find them. Nobody saw them since your battle and how will you find a few invisible boats floating in the middle of the ocean? Maybe a Calderian mage could track them down, it's their magic after all?

They want him to come with them and he tells them to duck off and wait 'till he's done. A brawl ensues and the Adventurer's win, though one will need new teeth. The biologist agrees to come with them and is brought back into civilization ready to talk to you, but still as grumpy as ever.

The few Dwarven clients you have do find success. A lot of them seem to enjoy the semi-sentient and easygoing nature of the Mesian Cow Lizards. What is more fun than feeding it a few rocks for them to actually be devoured? Or just sitting around a campfire getting drunk with them? Some of the Dwarves, develop an odd practice of keeping the skeletons of slaughtered cattle and burring them with burial stones and everything... while still happily gouging on their tasty meat. With that you see that maybe those Dwarves can be used to convince the other's?

Well, some time of searching and, its all for nothing. It makes sense though, however on the bright side this means she can get her revenge when things are much more even, and the information would be useful. Still, at least she'd return to be able to inform them that he'd likely be gone for some time, but would be back eventually. Of course, she'd not accept pay, even if the problem was dealt with, as it wasn't dealt with permanently...Though, she was looking forward to when they'd return. For now however, she'd have matters which she couldn't really delay much longer.

Returning to Cafoddwol, Floe would be swift to get more fey under her, and the equipment to, well, equip them. They had the mages skilled in specifically dealing with chaos, and would soon have a decent amount of fey under her. Very shortly, she'd be able to push chaos back quite a bit. In fact, she might just go all the way and try removing it completely from the island. After all, she was an expert at removing chaos. As if her previous record is any indication, fighting it was her specialty...

The slight spiciness of the Fireant Fruit mends well with the tea-like aroma of the Rasovu leaf. As the sugar ferments the spice reacts changing it's taste to something more akin to cinnamon. The sourness of a chitin carapace slowly seeps into the brew giving off a similar effect like adding lemon into tea turning it from greenish to brown. The result is a very strong alcocholic drink which tastes like ice-tea with lemon cinnamon and honey. People love to consume it in winter or in colder climate as it tastes the best heated up and gives you a pleasant feeling of warmth when consumed.

"Actual profits !"
The Council is happy.

Action 1:
> 5g - Check 2 new markets (each check is for 1 country for 1 product)
- Check the demand for Kamadani Lenses in The Kingdom of Calderia under the One True God. Perhaps it would be useful for the visually impaired, as a status symbol, and to spark new useful industries. Cyclops use them to make telescopes and lanterns, after all.

- Check the demand for Kamadani pearls in The Kingdom of Calderia under the One True God. We are here targetting nobles, jewellers, artists, tailors, other applied arts people, and perhaps mages and alchemists if they find a use for them.

Action 2:

Build this in Companeous.

Diplo 1:
>Negociate with the Gorgons government
With the help of Élisse, meet up with Gorgons government officials to be allowed to build an office in the Ecclésiastique République d'Sepe.
"We would like to open an office here, to be able to sell every good your nation produce. This will allow us to trade with more nations, and bring more interesting things here, like artworks from all over the world. Also, you will get more gold, because we will buy from you."

Diplo 2:

Lenses might not be something that'll find widespread use, but there is a decent niche market for it. Many Calderian mages tend to have their eyesight deteriorate with age as all they do is read books and more books. On the Other hand people sometimes are just born with bad eye sight. This won't be a hit, but by all means will bring in some profit.

The nobles would by all means be interested in the overgrown Cyclopean Pearls. It's a pretty decent status symbol after all.

Diplo 1: The Gorgon officials try to at first fumble about looking for excuses to not let you open an office, but Élisse shoots each and every one of them down before your people can even respond. In the end without any further pleasantries being exchanged the official grumpily signs the permit and slithers away.

Diplo 2: The Prime of the School of the Shark... thinks and thinks. And the he blurts out: "Yes!" and walks away as he remembers that basically none of them have mastered the techniques of the head Primarch to combat magic users. You obviously don't know that you just heard a Cyclops, blurt out an excited "yes!" and leave.

An economic revolution happens in west Calderia. The west Calderian Military has started developing "War Golems" something no nation thought off before due to their seeming inferiority to flesh and blood soldiers. The Golem is fragile clockwork which breaks appart on any solid hit, while also being able to follow only basic built in commands. That being said the Pest Inc. Neurotoxin gives them a unique use in the battlefield as they are immune to the toxin themselves. The Calderian military is currently experimenting with Golems disguised as Calderian soldiers being used to rush enemy lines delivering the dangerous neurotoxin. This tactic has further advantages as when the enemy shoots the Golems he's not shooting the soldiers saving the lives of many Calderians. The presence of Golems also will be used to inflate the numbers of West Calderian forces for intimidation value.

Both Pest Inc. and KamaCal will now face a serious supply shortage of Golems and the neurotoxin, as demand for it has risen sharply.

- A "Mana containment unit"? Why didn't I think of that!? I'm a little proud to share a country with such bright folk. Admittedly as it stands now operating the arcshards does become quite tiring, especially if you suffer from mana deficiency like myself. Get our development team on it right away, it's too good an idea to just ignore!

-Between running the company, operating the reasearch and manufacturing facilities, and running around delivering packages, we find ourselves with too much to do and too little time. Open up our offices to applications again, hire some additional workers to fill these empty offices we have and lets crank up our ability to meet demand. The sooner we can do that, the sooner we can normalize the prices again.

"Welcome my serious looking friends, I bet you're all rather excited to see what has come of your investment!". Unsurprisingly, none of are really excited especially Genkaku who looks as stern and strict as always. It's just business after all. Regardless of the cold atmosphere they give off, Sasayaku leads them into the facility as energetically as he usually is. As they make their way through, he goes about explaining their R&D cycle, the teams involved and what their work entails, but he saves the best for last. "This beauty right here is an Arcore." He puts as much flair into it as possible as he stretches his arms out towards a large crystal hovering in an enclosed room. "What you've seen up until now are only shards that connect to cores like this, transmitting information and sounds via arcane energies that course between them. These beauties handles the directing of all that information and acts as a highway between shards connected to them out in the world. Just as shards can talk to the core, the cores can talk to each other. The more there are in a 'concert' the greater their processing capabilities become."

As your team keeps working on a project they come to a pretty big problem. Common materials like Iron and Bronze won't cut it and neither won't rarer ones like Gold and Silver. Gold and Silver have a high level of mana conductivity, but neither of them can store it well. The only materials which have a decent mana storage capacity are Volframite and Quicksilver. Quicksilver has a higher storage capacity, but is somewhat toxic and hard to work with as it's a liquid though.
> Volframite - monopolised by Dwarves
> Quicksilver - monopolised by Tarn

More employees are hired. Your supply is increased.

Diplo: Upon seeing the Arcore the eyes of the diplomats light up. Not even Genkakku can hide his amazement. The possibilities of what such technology could entail course trough their blue head.... and then they leave as if nothing happened.

EVENT: It seems a Narsician noble has started creating cheap knock-off versions of Arcanet. They only have the basic functionality of the earlier models, but due to your lax deffenses can be used to access Mirai Express with it making them still very useful. Having their name associated with a noble their popularity is starting to grow quickly... and might soon start influencing your profits.

Word eventually reaches Sasayaku of the knockoffs that have been in circulation within the Princedom. He can't help but crack a small smile at the development, "Got to hand it to those nobles. I know I didn't give them everything, but I'm a little impressed that they were able to slap something like this together with what they had". "Still" he continues, "This couldn't have worked out better for us". The Nobles have unknowingly solved Mirai Corp's manufacturing problem, now all that was left was to acquire it.

Actions:
-Despite being impressed with their ability to fill in the gaps, I've got to wonder if they're all that bright. They're knockoffs can access Mirai Express, meaning their shards still rely on our cores as the secrets to its manufacturing and workings was something I'm sure I never shared to them. If they rely on our processing abilities, then we'll simply put on stronger defenses. Have our development team investigate the connections and learn to put countermeasures in place to beef up our security.

-At the same time, I'll be looking into the nobles that have stolen our intellectual property. They're using our arcanet after all. With a little bit of digging, I can find the connection between their shards and our cores. If they're willing to engage in blatant theft, who knows what other skeletons hide in their closets. With a bit of eavesdropping, I'm sure I can unearth one or two of them. After that, the fun begins.

Things are odd the spy keeps going to more and more sites of the murders happening. The death always happens the same way. A hit with a hammer like object to the back of the head... and only to older people as well. What could this mean? Not to mention the murders seem to be much more common and numerous than previous expected.

The Spy without attacking them follows one of the murderers as he notices a murder happen. He follows them into a small room where Eldritch prayer are chanted. After confronting them it turns out to me a small rural Eldritch cult. They use some form of divination to predict when people will die and kill them a bit before marking them for Eldrtich Resurrection. The resurrected undead live in a dug out chain-bar under the house which they keep expanding. There is hundreds of them down there.

A new printing press is opened in the Calderian Citystate, this time operating in the open. The printing press is far from arriving in this land and even if any mass produced books come by they usually are in the Tongue of the Undead not understood by many Calderians. Thus the newspaper allowing Calderian converts to read it soon becomes a hit... even among non-believers just interested in news.

As you check the Narsician market for Manacrop and Golems it's pretty obvious that there really is no demand for it. Many companies already specialize in producing those resources and they are fairly common within Narsician land.

The development team is doing work to try understand more about the Arcanet. Trough statistical analysis they learn of an important detail. The Arcanet listens, it seems to rather obviously show listen in on conversations people are having when it's off. Users of Mirai Express often see products they were just talking about show up as soon as they try to order them. This little quirk of Arcanet by all means will bring profit, but it is unclear why Arcanet listens.

Diplo: The Noble feels as if his pride is being shattered to pieces every time you say a few words. First the pride in his own work shatters. Dependent... how could I be dependent on some peasant with mana deficiency? 40%? that's preposterous... we'd be running at loss wouldn't we? And a paycheck...too? As he is about to throw Sato out he mentions the drug and the Narsician noble goes so pale he looks like blue ice. The necessary paper work is sighned and Sato asked to leave.

You got 40% shares in the Company now. Soon ComCrystal prizes nearly double as it turns out they were sold at a tiny profit margin to entice new customers making the product barely cheaper than Arcanet and the anger of the public turn towards the noble.

The lenses sell quickly becoming glasses for older mages and and those visually impaired. The Product is selling moderately well. Even a new professions crops up which is intermediaries helping individuals choose the right glasses and maybe even order custom made ones.

The trains would definitely be useful, while Pegasuses are a better alternative for KamaCal train lines could be also used to transport massive amounts of goods for the state and other companies. Maybe citizens of inland cities could for the first time experience eating cheap freshly fished fish? The possibilities are endless.

Nuge Blam was once regarded as a plant related to Chaos and while this myth has been long rendered false many Lower class Calderians still hold this belief while most of the Noblemen have easy access to healing magic. The plant is not expected to sell well.

Diplo: The Church of the One True God once labeled the people of Sepe as Chaos worshipers. That was when the nation was facing a Chaos Plague itself. This left it alone without aid and dealth a big blow to the pride of the nation. Since then the people of Sepe are very wary of non-Cyclopean foreigners and especially followers of the one true faith. The One True Faith itself is considered a fringe and crazy cult within the Republic. Your company being mostly staffed by members of the faith and importing from a country following it is obviously sparking some suspicion.

The mead is Quickly gaining popularity especially in Frzheim. Still the problem is "way to little alcohol in it!". The Dwarves of Firzheim seem to still love the Drink though and wish for you to open a brewery in the City so a Dwarven version of the Drink can be made. They think it'll become a hit!

You gain a high supply of leaves. Still to meet your supply you need to create a factory to process the leaves.

Diplo: He is happy and wishes to try some of the drink. If he likes it he'll be willing to deepen your partnership. He is very proud about Rasovu and even if he likes your Representative personally.

Diplo 2: Respond to Mirai so he sees

Diplo 3: The Calderians heartily accept the apology. The Rattakians devour the alcohol, but seem to still be pissed off.

Well, it was time. With enough Fey under her, and those specifically specialized in dealing with Chaos's corruption, it was now that they would have to head out and take care of the chaos wastes. The only thing Floe had to do was, before they properly set foot into the wastes of chaos was to give a speech, one that was primarily directed at the fey, but did recognize the Eldritch help they had. That it was to protect the people of Moncarreni, to protect Cafoddwol and to push back the chaos foothold and throw them into the sea. How she knew her soldiers would fight to their utmost and not disappoint, and how Chaos will always fall against Floe and the Rime Wall Warriors.

However, speeches alone do not win wars...Actions did. And it was time for the Rime Wall Warriors to head into action, potentially lots of action.

>Action One, Prepare everyone to head out to deal with chaos encroaching once more onto our lands.

As the two actions dictate literally EVERYONE sets out to war. You can't construct buildings or engage in diplomacy until the battle ends. Scrapping together all your staff you get a 5th division together, inflating your forces further.

Your speech further attracts 2 divisions from the army volunteering to aid you. So your invasion force is 7 divisions and 50 hired Eldritch grand mages, though only 5 under your direct command.

You can set out for war now.

We go to see if the mercenary company can be asked to repel the imreldian raiders. If they refuse our payment options we instead go for mercenaries, perhaps those who are particularly good at fighting ismreldians.
Action 2:
Pay the dwarf his 5 gold send him off afterwards. Spend another 5 in searching for these plants and figuring out how they can be used, if they are found to be useless we will spend some of that to hunt him down while he is in the wilds and beat the hell out of him using mercenaries who are armed with something better than a bunch of sticks. Unless he gives the gold back of course or gives us something worthwhile.
This attempt to figure out how to diversify has gone poorly to say the least. But his pride has been hurt dearly and he is greatly offended. If that is the game he wants to play then that will be the game he will play assuming these plants are not useless.

As you look for suitable mercenary companies the Fey being able to fly seem like the obvious choice, but they're "buisy". So you settle for the next best thing, Tarn. Using Eearth Magic they can create walls to cut off the speedy Steppe Elf Cavalry and their Amalgamat makes them perfect for fighting mages if there are any. No to mention the Tarnish are known for fighting to the last man. You can hire the "Battlamin Legionaries" for 5 turns paying them 4 gold each turn.

> The Search for the Fancy Plants
The first plant you find is Furgrass a symbiotic plant which roots itself in the skin of animals. Once rooted in it feels like a cat's fur except it is green. The Animal with the Furgrass can now benefit from the photosynthesis the plant gives him, but needs to drink way more to supply the plant with water. (less eat, more drink). Once per year the Furgrass forms a know which is akin to a fruit. The knot binds the grass together strongly thus pulling ta the skin and making the area itchy. The Animal tries to alleviate this by scratching itself making the knot burst and a soft substance akin to butter being spread around it's body. That soft substance includes tiny seeds which allow the grass so spread all over the body. The Substance itself tastes like Kiwi with Jogurt, and can be eaten by being smeared on bread. it is recommended you cook it first though or you might grow a grassy mustache.

You find the Choirmonkey as well and it's calls indeed seem to be able to fuck with spells and magic. The animal resembles an Orangutan, but it can mimic many various sounds. It is relatively friendly and can be tamed easily.

The 3rd thing you find is the Fangshroom. It's a normal looking mushroom, except it can sometimes stretch and bit off chunks of flash with it's hidden mouth. That thing is straight up terrifying. It is unknown how big they can get, the biggest ones you saw can stretch up to a meter and swallow a rabbit whole.

Well, everyone is ready, all our equipment prepared...We will not disappoint. Every bit of corruption that chaos has left will be purified, from the land to the fey. This will take some time, no doubt, but it will be worth it in the end, and it certainly will keep the Rime Wall Warriors and Floe payed by the end of this. With how much she prepared, she honestly probably over prepared. Then again, she wasn't kidding when she said she'd purify the land of chaos and throw it back into the sea, where it will only be purified more if anything...Still, at the least with how much effort put into this, it might take less time than originally expected.

Still, baring chaos trying a second invasion right as she went out, this probably was going to be more tedious then difficult.

>Actions One and Two, head out and do our best, and don't come back until chaos is gone forever...Or at least until chaos mounts another invasion...If they ever do again...

As you try to decipher the reason why the core would collect the information you are puzzled to find... that you can't really tell. The only thing that comes up and is rather suspicious is the Arcanet suddenly cutting into someone's private conversation. The mages would hear a woman scream "it's for the same reason as you did to me!", then the call would end. Your mages think that probably was just an error from screwing open the crystal while it was operational.

The development of the educational program is progressing well. (invest 1 more action to complete it).

The first few battles go very easily. Your forces steamroll the disorganized Chaos Fey tribes and the mages are slowly purifying the land. That is until you meet the true Swarm.

At first you think it's a cloud, but then you learn of the true nature of this abomination. Tens if not hundreds of thousands of Chaos Fey. No noble fey among them except on one fey which looks like something in between a Noble and Queen fey.

Your forces would engage the Swarm, but the battle would seemingly drag on forever. At the start it would be just swatting away fey that are so inferior to you in power that it's a joke, but they would just not stop coming. Out of the earth snakelike demons would rise shooting corrosive demon up into the sky and once killed would reincarnate in Chaos Fey.

Floe thinks the battle is won once she kills the Chaos fey "Princess" but before her own eyes another random fey morphs into it. She then realizes "The God of Anarchy has no Princes, the will of the Swarm is immortal."

The Chaos Fey Princess will keep reemerging as long as there is a single fey alive. And the Swarm seems infinite as long as Corrupted land is beneath their wings. Still the battle seems far from impossible. Especially due to the massive gap in troop quality.

With the new investment you are lacking in delivery staff and need to hire more people.

Both the Pearls and Art+Fashion find a niche market in West Calderia among nobility. Though Gorgon dresses are considered rather prude by the noblewomen.

Diplo 1:
As you start discussing the problems it becomes pretty obvious that they seem very superficial to whatever you remember back from Calderia. This place seems to be just way nicer to live in. Most Snakefolk complain about the lack of inspiration, where the Gargoyles complain about a lack of work (not enough criminals). Élisse and the State are able to provide some more concrete answers. Élisse would wish for imported flowers so she can diversify her garden and maybe to produce new types of dye or perfume. The state would be interested in exotic metals, as they heard those can have very interesting properties.

Diplo 2:
No human ever has a "good beard" for Dwarven standards, but they always appreciate that the Babybeards try their best. To the Dwarves the alcohol is laughably week, but they enjoy the taste. Action 1:
Begin minor testing on amigichuums in the swamps of the Colony on the wetter ranches owned directly by Yax'ich, the swamps may not provide much sunlight but they provide water in abundance.Preform some basic tests using Mesian magic to see if it can be removed from animal subjects (or human subjects accidentally exposed) using mesian magics. From low level healing magic to minor blood magic, also see how much the Furgrass can be accelerated in its growth using the magics Yax'ich knows as well. The Furgrass will not be told about to anybody who it is not necessary for them to know about it, as we would not be able to control it once people have obtained it unless we somehow got an internationally recognized monopoly, which is probably a pipedream right now as we look at the state of our funds and the distain for us which is had in ismereldys. Do not keep it a closely guarded secret but rather something which is simply not talked about as something which is very important or of great potential.
Action 2:
Experiment with Choirmonkeys to see if they can be used to defend us from magical attackers, and if their abilities can be repressed during times where we don't want magic to be disrupted. This Ape could prove a very valuable asset, let us hope it does not disappoint.
Diplo - Northern Dorn
Oh how glorious the republic was a few years ago... and yet how much more glorious has it become in recent years? Once set under the foot of the greedy cattle barons of Ismereldys when it came to imported meats now, with our help the ranchers of the Republican Council have found new life in our humble livestock. Yet now that they have lost their monopoly many in their Barony have turned to barbarism as their greedy leadership does nothing to stop them from needing to think to turn to crime - or perhaps yet worse that they may be actively supporting these raiders. We have had to deal with raiders targeting our overland shipments of contractual exchanges and meat, which has forced us to hire mercenaries at the cost of a large increase in expenses. While we will not ask for compensation from your government as they are only attacking us we would like it if you could impose a law banning ismerldians from entering the untamed lands between the Dwarven-Mesian Colony and your own land, or at least limit how many of the obvious raider types can get in and attack us.
We thank you, oh Dorn for allowing us to do business in your land and we hope that this issue does not cause any major problems for you.

Troubles and worrys of discovery, of the danger of the undead operation are made clear to the other sect of the church!

Meanwhile, The Exhalted Express is in it's Church offices, back in Elizabeth's lands, asking for assistance to evacuate and get these new undead and these elves out of Sarintha and into the safe lands of the land of The Eldritch Truth.

Ideas for a railroad underneath the lake are proposed and perhaps the idea of making it a forward base for underground trade, might make it profitable and help Sarinthan's in danger escape to safety into Elizabeth's lands!

>Action 2

Basic schools are being set up around Sarintha, part temples, part library's, but meant to help educate the common citizen ((that is in the know, it'll mainly be the poor and people already apart of our religion)) in church doctrine, in reading and writing and in proper history, in hopes of endearing us to the local population further, of building up a higher base of religous supporters and to educate the people.

The Dornish official takes out a piece of paper and starts counting "... 2/3rds... 2/3rds... that is how many people in our nation would be left without food if Imreldys halted it's imports." The Official then would explain how you need to build at least 2 more ranges and hire employees twice before he can consider backing you. He obviously understands the vile nature of the Cattle Baron, but above justice goes the Survival of the Dornish People and once that can be guaranteed, he can guarantee justice.

The Furgrass can be removed, but it is not easy. You can simply grab the grass and rip it out with it's toots, though that is somewhat painful. After that happens one needs to rub weak poison on the affected area to kill off any remnants. Mesian magic can be used to deteriorate the root first making the process mostly pain-free. The Furgrass can be accelerated in it's growth as much as an average plant. The Furgrass can probably disguised as "the fur of a new type of amigichuum", their biology is so foreign already who would even question it? The Amigichuums themselves seem not much changed from being covered in the Furgrass, they seem to eat less and bask in the sunlight more.

As the name states their anti-magic only works properly when they are in a Choir, your tests show you need at least 20 of the monkeys around to be able to effectively disturb magic attacks. The ability can be easily repressed, the monkeys are smart and can be told when to sing and when not too.

This certainly wasn't going to be as easy as first thought. Then again, this is part of the reason why she prepared so much, just in case some sort of annoying unknown variable suddenly popped up and got in the way, like these princesses that just wont stay down by virtue of simply turning another into one of them every time they do get struck down. Still, there was three things that could shift the battle in her favor. Firstly, the princess focusing on Floe rather than any of the other fey is for the best as, not only will it give Floe bragging rites, but it also will mean their attention wouldn't be focused on the other fey under her, along side the eldritch mages. Instead of focusing on killing this princess, she'd focus on simply preventing them from doing anything and keeping all their attention on her, only ever striking them down if they have to due to either them being the last one remaining, or them realizing Floe's little trick. Secondly, her fey would have their objective shifted from attacking and directly engaging with the chaos fey to protecting the eldritch mages and slaying any that come near them or their current positions. And thirdly, said eldritch mages would be tasked on using their powers to stop the swarms numbers from endlessly pouring in. Any kind of spell that had a large area of effect that could purify and remove chaos, be it the fey they were fighting or the ground under them, would be extremely useful. Really, this was a fight of endurance. Quality versus quantity. And one Floe intended on winning. All her forces needed to do was protect the eldritch mages and all Floe needed to do was keep the princess focused on her before the mages could do their work. If they could last long enough, something Floe was confident in, they would win.

Elizabeth agrees, but only if the Living Cultists also are transported to Eldritch lands. After the Great War she learned that forcing one's loved ones to be revived is something that causes great thoughtless rage among less understanding people. Both the Undead and Cultists are to go into Eldritch lands, will rejoin the hivemind and will have the new teachings and doctrine of the faith explained to them.
(agree yay, nay, continue discussing)

A first few schools are set up (5 or so) in places where you know local communities of followers of the faith exist. As of now the demand is small, as many parents choose to not have their kids attend due to fear of being caught. The schools themselves will start attracting more people over time as there currently is no tuition and it mainly targets poor kids they don't bring any Profits. Schools for nobles or demanding tutions might fix that.

(purifying the land while the battle goes on was the trick to victory, so congrats)

As ordered the Eldritch mages stop supporting the battle and instantly go into purifying the land. The Swarm having noticed this tries swarming them, but they have no way of breaking trough your superior forces. The Princess herself too tries ruing down, but Floe keeps restraining her, throwing her up rendering her unable to go down at all.

Feeling helpless the Princess kills herself before Floe can intervene. Looking down floe sees the by now familiar light that emits as one of those pesky buggers starts transforming into the Princess. With her Berserker rage activated the catapults herself downward slamming said fay into the ground squashing her like bug and then catapulting herself upward to capture the next one which starts her transformation. Floe restrains the princess in a block of ice she hods with one arm while fighting off the hordes of minor fey tryting to rush in to free or kill the Princess. With their forces split up they barely pose a threat anymore and over time fewer and fewer of them remain. As hours pass the encased in ice Princess remains the last present fey and is killed by Floe. The battle is won and a hefty chunk of land has been obtained for Cafoddwol. Floe hence that day would have a new title "Swarmbreaker".

The Dwarves are hired and instantly get to work. The Alcochol they produce indeed is stronger, but also generally tastes better. Dwarves have specialized in mead production for centuries, breeding various strains and forms of yeast to get the job done best. In fact having found out how the alcohol is made the Dwarves propose bio-engineering specific types of warriors just for making barrels out of their chitin as well as seeing if what food the Fireantbees consume has influence on the Aroma on their honey-like nest. The Dwarves seem to be working methodically examining every little detail to improve the beverage.

Your mages are starting suspecting that the convoluted magic circles in the ComCrystals might have lead to the emergent behaviors within the Arcanet.

Diplo - Northern Dorn - End
That is understandable, the security of Dorn is worth far more to both of us than a few extra coins on our part, doing business with the people makes up for that manyfold. Thankyou for your time and may Dorn prosper.
Action 1:
Prepare a breeding population of Amigichuums who shall serve as the base from which we shall sell to those who we wish to sell this new variety to.
After they are prepared we begin selling them as a new breed of amigichuum created after an accident occurred while feeding them breeding beans which caused a batch of new calves to be born with a strange trait which is believed to have been encoded by Petlin for use in swampy environments, but which was never activated for fear of what it could do to the moose population of the swamps, as those animals were prized for their fine pelts and the infrastructure for a large population had simply not yet taken hold while he still lived.
To those who the furgrass amigichuums are sold to a warning shall be given about infestations which happen to them or other animals, about how they can be removed using either brute force or through a less painful process involving the use of conventional magic. It is also said that they should probably not let it spread on other creatures because of how it could create a potentially annoying problem in other populations in dryer areas, as removing the stuff is tedious and in dryer areas they tend to die off due to lack of water.
They shall first be sold among the swamps of the colony as they can only do very well in very wet areas. (5g, take a small loan and pay it back as profits come in)

With the battle won and the swarm whittled down to the last, near the end, Floe's vision would go from red to normal, and, seeing that chaos was beaten back would let out a shout in victory, holding her blade high. Once everyone was reorganized and accounted for, they'd get a few of the explorer fey to map out the now purified regions, hopefully to deliver her a map in time for a meeting. Partially due to the length of the battle, and partially due to her rage, she kind of lost track of how far she had actually advanced into chaos corrupted territory, and an estimation of where chaos was now would be best, as even if there was no more jobs to take care of it from the actual military, something she kind of doubted, she still would want to push chaos completely out if she hadn't already, as throwing them into the sea and forcing them to have to make another full scale invasion to get a foot hold to even attempt to encroach on Cafoddwol lands would be best so they don't remain a constant pest.

When one of the younger and naive lesser fey, specifically a cave fey named Chasma who joined her band after the fight with those pirates and did quite well in the recent fighting against chaos, asked why not simply get cold iron weapons, Floe would look at the little weirded out before saying "Being around that...material isn't good for you...In fact, the smith chauns tend to get white hair and all wrinkly from working with iron alone, and cold iron...its very uncomfortable to be around, for both little fey like you and even me..." Regardless, outside that little incident, Floe would try to see if there was any other jobs before meeting with a particular fey a part of the military, that being the same person she spoke to and who gave her the job to fight off chaos in the first place. With any luck, she'd get the maps she wanted done before speaking with her...

As you you wander trough the purified land you see how much corruption has damaged it on a deeper level. Withered away Chaos Flowers cover the land alongside toppled trees and burned soil. The only life seems to be extraordinarily resilient Komodo-dragon like reptiles munching on the Eldritch tentacles slowly sprouting out of the land. Still it will take many years before this land can be considered truly hospitable again. Especially as it is unknown how many Chaos Relics might have been left behind in cultist hide-outs.

There is currently no jobs for you within Cafoddwol, with Chaos at bay the realm is at peace. There will be more ships going to Rapture, but that'll be aviable in 3 more turns and is now way bellow your pay-grade.

Diplo: As you go to the General you first enter the Cafoddwolian capital only to be greeted with a lot of cheering and laughter. In CoC the Furry variant seen as a curiosity rather than a viable breed and the Market for cattle is already saturated there, thus it stays no more than a curiosity... except among Priests of Petlin. EVENT 2: Questions over MMO (magically modified organism). It is common knowledge that magical creatures and magically made creatures like Narsician Golems or Gargoyles are more susceptible to magic. The Baron of Imreldys has raised the question if the same could apply to MMO's them possibly posing a risk to the containment of chaos. Thus the Barony of Imreldys and Sarinthia Tyranny ban the import and consumption of MMO-derived products and urge other nations do to the same. - The behaviour of the cores is rather strange, but for now it remains a mystery. However it has peaked my interest, what else can they Arcanet do that I'm not aware of? So far operating the shards and cores comes down to channeling blank mana (Mana without any intended purpose) to power them as well as operate them. Have some of our Arcane theorists experiment with what happens when different types of mana if various elements and intentions are channeled into the cores and shards.

- Purchase some golems for our Mirai Express delivery activities. The Pegasus are very effective at delivering packages that need to travel great distances, however local deliveries benefit little from this service unless you're someone that lives on the 5'th floor of a building and are too lazy to collect it at ground floor. With a bit of programming and training, these golems can make our runs for us to drop off the packages. Best of all, they don't need a salary!
>>
>>4183411
As your mages look trough the arcane circles of the Arcanet they see how it could be modified to accommodate different types of mana. As you run different types of mana trough Arcanat devices you see it messes with it's functionality. The results don't really seem promising, you notice though that it can skew Mirai Express search results as well as recommendations. If the scientists had to describe it "it changes it's personality".

The Golems are to simple to do this type of task. They could need to be reprogrammed to walk a new route every time they are to deliver a set of packages programmers need to reprogram them a lot of work... but maybe the Golems could be attached directly to Arcanet to the reprogramming is automated?

You manage to destroy many assets of the Chaos worshippers and Dwarven Undead Hunters, causing massive damages to both. This makes the Undead Hunters suspicious of undead activity (chance of detection next turn 1d20). Arround Exhalted Express a small union of of Black Market business which oppose Chaos forms. Various Drug Dealers, Mafias and underground Whorehouses join in on the Union hoping this will mark them as having clearly severed ties with chaos and any Chaos relate unions.
> The Sarinthian Black Market Counter-Chaos Union (SBMCCU) is founded.
The businesses within the Union will inform each other of when they spot Chaos worshipers and will generally help each other out.

With all the Cultists now in Church lands you can just "take" what was their previous cult base. In fact from a business standpoint that seems like the safest way to get assets, as if you buy something people might ask? "Where is that money coming from?"
Some of your allied nobles also agree to buy properties in their name for you to use.

Your Spies were to busy sabotaging, no news from them.

With the new found wealth fully realized by Floe, along with the usefulness of a few buildings. Considerations are made, and in the land free from chaos, near the north west coast if possible, a grand fortress would be constructed. While it wouldn't be too much yet, relatively speaking, it'd be enough to fend off any attack. And while plenty of the things Floe wished to make for the fortress weren't able to be completed yet, and despite the fact it'd eat well into her budget, she'd still pay for it. Still there was other things to attend to other than the construction of a fortress. After all, she got all that she needed for that set up before her meeting, so why worry about that now...Right?

Regardless, speaking with the fey, they'd say "I came here to show not just how far Chaos has been pushed back, but also because of something we found somewhere else. Something I think Liri should hear." Taking another map and showing it to them, she'd say "There are fey here, normal fey. But they live lives unlike even the Kingdoms and Queendoms of old. They seem to segregate by type, meaning there's a small village of each type of chaun and fey. While this could be a problem to potentially bringing them into our society, it should still be possible. Although, there is one other issue, that being they apparently speak a different language, luckily despite their segregation, they don't speak a bunch of different languages. Just one."

Of course, sometime after the meeting, upon hearing of the Olympics, Floe would try and see if she couldn't represent Cafoddwol in some way, due to her many talents...If they had any competitions she'd be good at. Worst case scenario, she could provide protection traveling there, and guarding those who do.

The failure of the Office Down south is very unfortunate, but with greater opportunities at home we must take some financial risks.
Action 1:
Take a loan to construct a new ranch in northern dorn.
Action 2:
Our resources are getting spread thin, hire more employees so that we can better serve our benefactors.

This hysteria clearly is not a result of any legitimate fears of our God touched beasts, at least for the ones who were manufactured by Petlin in life! Make a public statement to consumers of meat in more neutral nations on the matter that the only danger posed by MMOs are mishandlings or mistreatments by the ignorant and malicious, and on the matter of chaos corruption we point to the lack of examples of chaos corrupted amigichuums during the war against chaos in the south and the fact that the only examples of chaos corrupted beasts of other flavors happened due to evil rituals preformed by vile sorcerers, done in ways just as they would corrupt and taint any other beast.

On the matter of the Olympics we cannot spare much money to support it directly, but if competitors do rise up from the colony or dorn we will see if we can spare anything to support them.

With the new ranch complete the North Dornish food supply is relatively safe. All import of meat from Imreldys is immediately halted and their meat banned. The Demand for your meat would still keep increasing in the nation.

You hire more employees safeguarding your supply chain. Be wary though, the danger from Imredys's side is anything but gone though. (Mercenary protection expires in 2 turns)

Your letter is taken at face value, but soon rumors start to spread. Survivors of the War of the Worlds report seeing some of the "Amichungu-thingies" being in fact Chaos worshipers in fact acting more like sentient beings worshiping a deity than corrupted animals. Still most nations seem to think the danger is no bigger than with normal animals. The Universal Inquisition will henceforth periodically inspect ranches of Amigichunnms herders. This makes the animal a bit less desirable to keep, but alleviates most of the concerns of the other nations containing the ban on the meat to Imreldys, Sarinthia and Northlund.

There is a few competitors from your nation wishing to participate. They are both Mesians and Dwarves. While your home nation has no representatives for the magic-focused events you got plenty for the physical ones.

>organisers of the next olympic games
through Elisse, professional acquaintances, government officials, or even bribes if we need to.
We bring Elisse to the meeting.
"We heard about the next olympic games. As a company whose job is to foster peae and trade between nations, we want to help you make this success it deserves to be. And we have several ideas for that.

- the first is about logistics. We know it is a hard and boring task. We can handle that for you.
You will have to transport people, sometimes quite important ones, from all over the world. We can do this. Our Pegasus Lines are fast and convenient. It would be free of charge for you. You justt have to endorse us as the official mean of international transport, and we will take care of the rest.
You will also have to transport a huge amount people inside your island, from site to site. And you will have to ship a lot of goods. We know that you already have pegasuses here. But will your existing transport network be able to care of the sudden influx ? For a small fee, we can take care of that too. Or just help you with the peak demand. That was transports.

- Our next idea is all about time. There will be timed events. Requiring the utmost precise timing. Probably, your clocks will suffice. If they dont, we can help, too. You could hire noble calderians for this task, as they have spells that can tell time. A few of our employees would be happy to help. We could also commission for you the most precise clocks clocksmith can make. For a price, of course.

- Our next idea is about staff. You may run into a lack of sufficiently trained staff. Maybe you will need to automate a few simple tasks. If you do, then you are lucky : we have a range of solutions for that: we produce Kamadani golems. We could sell you some of these. Maybe you want to commission a custom clockwork automata ? Depending on its complexity, We can offer you that, for the right price. We also trade some Narsician Golems. After the boring stuff, here is a more fun idea.

- A possible event. Dexterity and magic. Here is the idea. It would be a timed run. The track would be fairly straighforward. But would be doors blocking sections of it. These could be opened by a-hittable-by-a-spell button, or several. But here is the trick : this or these buttons would be protected by puzzles. These puzzles would be complex shapes of Mythrill. As this material reflect magic like mirrors do with light, you would need to hit iy the puzzle with the right spell at just the right angle and direction, for it hit the button and open the door. Mythrill is easy to find, we just introduced it in your market, and we could of course provide more, or other dwarven metals.

- and last but not least : the parties. We can provide, for a price, some rasovu tea, Calderian and Dwarven alcohol, and maybe some Dwarven Goat cheese !

You build more Tankers, thus increasing your capacity to transport more goods.

Frzheim seems like very good spot, even if just because they are so willing to produce said product there. In fact to this day you get letters in Dwarven pestering you about opening a Brewery there.

The Port Completion Sex party commences, and it seems to have attracted more locals. The cult of the Goant Bugs has started to spread and the hedonistic pleasures it's priests are ready to deliver have reached the ears of many young tribal women wishing for strong offspring. (with their Bioentomantic enhancements Entomancers look very superhuman to those tribals)

Indeed Peace is good, and the Olympics might lessen the stigma about outsiders.

The people of ERS are greatly interested, mainly due to an ancient legend. In the legend a Gorgon woman was defeated by a foreign mercenary who used a mirror as a shield to reflect her eye-beam back at her turning her into stone. Traditional mirrors have been proven to not cause this, but the ERS government is scarred whether or not Mythrill could do that. They ban the sale of Mythrill to civilians, but the army wishes to purchase a sizable stock of it. (to combat Chaos Snakefolk)

The flowers are a huge hit, who wouldn't like some flowers? Calderian flowers soon start spreading to gardens all over ERS and development of Perfumes is commencing.

Diplo:
> The Gorgons don't mind letting you act as a Chauffeur service for various nations, but they point out that most nations due to safety concerns prefer to use their own boats to transport their competitors.

> They will happily hire Calderian nobles to double-check the clocks.

> They prefer to not use Golems, they bring a bad taste to their mouth.

> It is too late to propose new competitions, what competitions would take place was long decided and will be announced soon.

> They are happy to be supplied with a variety of products for associated celebrations.
>>
> ACHTUNG EVENTS ANNOUNCED
1. Jousting - due to the size difference of competitors it's not a competitive sport, but rather a race. Various golden rings will be hung on a racing track some moved by moving clockwork mechanisms. Points will be awarded for collecting each ring and how quickly you complete the race. YOU NEED TO BE RIDING A MOUNT TO PARTICIPATE.

2. Wrestling - a combat sport with loose rules, you basically just can't use magic or poke people in the eye.

3. Boxing - a combat sport which bans grapples and kicks, though using magic to enhance punches or mobility is permitted.

4. Rodeo - various wild bests are brought in and contestants are to subdue them. How quickly you do it is what matters. Each contestant face 4 random beasts in a row to not leave up victory to random chance. Showmanship and used skills also gain the contestants points.

5. Spell Weaving - a contest to show off raw magical skill. Contestants put on shows using their magic as displays of power and beauty. The judges judge the beauty, raw power and choreography of the performance.

6. She'lak - Calderian Chess, way more complicated though. Obscenely so.

7. Ullamaliztli - a mix between basketball and soccer. The the players can only use their feet and head to bounce around a ball to get them into a small vertically oriented hoop. Tackles are allowed.

8. Mimic Flueting - contestants use various types of flutes to as accurately as possible mimic the call of various animals.

9. Swimming and Diving - a sport in which contestants try to swim as quickly as possible to a goal while collecting as many golden rings as possible from underwater.

10. Discus Throwing - Throwing a stone discuss as far as possible.

Mamma Mia, Arcanet has reached a critical point with said point being... more than half of the people within the Princedom have it, thus the other half MUST have it. Your proffits go trough the roof. You are entering the midgame!

The Development goes well and Mana batteries which can last up to 4h are created. They are interesting devices.

The Arcanet now both being in Theocratic Dorn and within the Uwuin'taipan Theocracy starts being a very popular trinket among the mage-class. It's an item superior in all regards to the Tarnish Quicksilver mirror except in accessibility. Mages within both nation are starting to use the device frequently, the problem is well... everyone else. Outside of the Princedom few nations have a population consisting of 99% mages (well except entomancers). Thus for the product to truly catch on you should finally build some Mana-Conductors. This would allow any commoner to use the device, it's especially easy with the new battery. (it is 60g per per mana conductor for 1 country).

> Weird Calls
By giving access to the Arcanet to the followers of the one true faith you stuly opened the floodgate. Spam Arcanet Calls to random numbers to preach the faith become a common occurrence and annoyance to the people of the Princedom. Some wish for an option to block certain numbers from calling them.

We will refrain from participating in these Olympics, as we are strapped for cash and need to pay off our debts before making more leaps, although that doesn't mean we cant help...
Action 1:
A population can not thrive on our meat alone, however delicious it is. Of course we know of two markets ripe for the selling, those of Northlund and Theocratic Dorn. While both may have potential for a meat market we cannot guarantee that their investment will bring back enough funds quick enough. Thus we begin sending meat to be sold there, whether salted or magically preserved. (5g, invest in both markets)
Action 2:
Our lack of cash means that its going to be hard to fund any Olympians. But we can try. Set up a mini-Olympic event which will be advertised for showing off those this nation, both Mesian and Dwarf has to offer. It will be a showcase of their skills, the person (or persons depending on how much comes in from Olympic pledges) who is voted best will be financed through a sponsorship supported using donations from those who watched and a bit from our own finances as well. Those who donate will have the option to take a piece of the prize money in accordance with a contract signed with the contestant. (5g)

After everything use any profits we have made to pay back some of our debt.

Railways starts construction, it goes between Tou'ui'nhin and Idyllic Mount. Upon construction the first products to be transported are fresh fish for the Mountainfolk to eat for the first time. Passenger transports are also growing. With trains introduced another economic revolution is bound to take place within the Kingdom.

The cook books become a rather popular product. Cyclopean food is very simple and they are always willing to learn... one small problem though... the cook books tell you how to cook with Calderian ingredients and many complaints regarding that come in.

With time, Sibercanette continued expansion. The castle was made large enough for a number of buildings to be constructed inside the protection of its walls, and of those, the most important that could be constructed at the moment was that of a proper yard to train the fey under Floe's command. Naturally, she herself would have to be the one to actually give training initially, at least until some of the noble fey under her were skilled enough at running drills, sparring matches, and running through tactics. Still, actually having a proper place with the equipment and resorces for varying training regimes is a massive boon and will undoubtedly improve the quality of the Fey under her, be they lesser or noble. Maybe in time it'll teach her a thing or two? Hah, no of course not. She was the best of the best already after all... At least, she believe that anyway.

With the bashful fey general she seemed to commonly speak with now informing her of the meeting being tomorrow, and not to discuss the issue, Floe would nod. Any Fey that asked what she was doing the next day when heading for that little meeting would be told simply a variation of "Important business." and when pressed further would simply give an annoyed, disapproving glare. Still, once it was time, she'd prepare herself properly for the meeting before entering the room...This was going to be interesting, and important.

>>4186809

For the events in the Olympics, Floe would obviously be most interested in Boxing and Spell Weaving, with a minor interest in Wrestling. She would wonder if coating her fists in a thin layer of ice was considered enhancing her punches or an illegal weapon, along with if using ice on the floor to enhance her mobility and slow her opponent was considered fair as well...Questions to ask, certainly...

As for the Olympics in fact ERS has been looking for mercenaries to hire. Their own army and Police will be busy keeping order in Cooperous itself, problem is Cooperous is a border city, bordering a Chaos nation. The RWWE is welcome to help reinforce the defenses of the city and keep watch over the border itself and will be compensated fairly for the job.

Floe is deemed not really a perfect fit for wrestling as it is a competition of pure strength with a ban on magic, in fact the fey don't know if they have anyone who should even participate in that one... still with no better options Floe is signed up. For boxing she is a perfect fit, just needs to make sure to get some training in, as for Spellweaving... Liri has a better representative in mind.

The offer is genuinely considered by man wile other's instantly agree. Among them is Sally McBow the newly appointed head of the Rampum Ravegers and longtime fan of the newspaper, she is happy to talk about how it is to be a young woman leading the mafia and how chaos cultists assassinated her dad. Other organisations are also happy to get some advertising done, something they rarely can do operating on the black market and all.

The company is doing well, it by no means is big but is starting to grow and have a considerable influence on life in Sarinthia and Idyllic Corruption. You could increase your profits by spreading to more countries, or covering the Olympics a very lucrative job. You could also reduce expenses by closing down the schools or making them paid to attend.

The Cult base is transformed into a black market hotspot, the sleepy village it was in would now see frequent visitors passing by only to visit that weird house in them middle of nowhere. As the administrator of the place you need to make sure it stays safe and should probably hire more security.

You are slowly relocating cultists and undead into the lands of the Church obtaining whatever properties they held in the process. Your company is gaining assets more quickly than it knows what to do with them!

Calderian Alcochol is introduced and while less refined than the fancy Sepe'ian brews they do find their niche, but moreso will be a good source of income from Calderians traveling to ERS for the Olympics.

With the Olympics slowly approaching the people of ERS are more open to visitors than in a long time. Your meat intrigues them especially as the creature it comes from is covered in scales. To some that makes the meat more trustworthy, while other's question the morality of eating a creature covered in scales. Still the introduction of the Mesian Bovine sparks an artistic revolution. Artsits are Drawing bare-feet gorgons in simple clothes tending to Amichiguums. An era of falling in love with the rural and natural is beginning.

The Tythians see your boat approaching and shoot some balistas at you while screaming in Druidic. It's the 2nd time this decade some foreign cunts tried to break their isolationism.

A decent sum of money is invested into the athletes. With this much they can at least focus on training until the competitions start even if they don't have professional equipment to do so with.
>>
>>4188817

With Sibercanette's continuing expansion, it's truely becoming a proper fortress. In fact, as of late its becoming akin to that of one of the fairy towns founded by those of equivalent status to herself. Of course, it's still a fair way away from being considered an actual, proper city, let alone a town, but some fey moving closer to the castle without being a part of her little war band it was likely only a matter of time...Probably a lot of time, but still, time. Still, she had important things to do now, such as getting to the Olympics to not only participate but also to have her fey protect the event. After all, if chaos strikes, well...Her specialty was dealing with chaos at this point, kinda. So, it should be easy.

With what she was interested in participating with regards to the events, she'd definitely have to practice her fighting without weapons. While wrestling is seen to be something purely done by strength, Floe knew that there was much more to it than that, for skill can turn an opponents strength into a weapon to be their enemy's demise. When informed Liri had a better representative in mind for spell weaving she instantly thought it was probably going to either be Caraway or Liri herself. It had to be one of the two, as both were exceptionally skilled at magic, since Liri was an Empress fey, only one of her kind, and Caraway practically devoted to magic...and science but, still...She was focused on magic. Regardless, at the very least she was confident she was going to get gold in boxing. Though she'd have to figure out just how much magic she could use, because using snow in a blizzard like fashion to blind their opponent like a smoke screen or some other idea's she had might be a bit...much for the competition's rules. Still, she'll have plenty of time to train and focus on getting better...

With a Treasure and Trophy room added the Castle is now a proper one no lesser to those found built by the state and greater than the Castle of any other mercenary group... one might think Floe is showing off. The village around the Castle exists and some of the local farmers agreed to pay a tithe and treat Floe as their lord, but it is far from becoming a town or city.

Floe was right the representative is Caraway, Liri while more powerful is less learned of the forms of magic other races use... nor does she like the idea of leaving Cafoddwol without a herself on the throne. As Floe asks experts what types of magic are allowed it is pretty clearly stated for boxing:
"All attacks can only be done with punches with a closed fist. Said fist can not be used to shoot out magic projectiles, but magic can be used to make the punch itself stronger. Otherwise magic can be used to enhance one's mobility, buff yourself or debuff the enemy or in any other not directly offensive fashion."

The Trophy room is constructed. For now no major artifacts lighn it's walls.

The castle would be something for Floe to be proud of...If she was actually at the castle and not currently away for the Olympics. Regardless with her soldiers off to protect the Olympics, and herself off to participate, it was only natural for her time to be spent on one thing. Ensuring that, with both wrestling and boxing, she'd get gold. How hard would it be to punch and kick things without using magic? Or simply punching things without magic making a sword or something? She already planned on covering her hands and forearms with ice, for both protection and offense, though maybe the protection wouldn't be allowed and it'd have to just be her fits...Still, she certainly would have a good chance. In fact, against opponents who couldn't use magic, it might be best to aim for punching their own punches...That'd certainly hurt. Still, it's one thing to think up strategies. Its another to hire professionals who could not only provide a good teacher but also give good training and hone Floe's skills. While she undoubtedly would qualify, and certainly be in the top five. It wouldn't do to be recognized as the third or second best rather than first. Regardless, she was willing to do quite a bit.

To Floe's surprise... it is surprisingly hard. As a fey she has been using her mobility as her biggest advantage, but without being able to use magic she sees one big problem "It's really hard to put force into a punch without your legs on the ground." This realization makes her forced to work on a new fighting style, one which relies either on dropping down on the enemy to build up momentum or on quickly landing, punching and taking off again. What she is learning now could certainly also be useful in real combat as it increases the flexibility of her fighting style.

Her trainer being a Dwarven boxer is also adapting to her fighting style, but it is clear he can't match her in raw power. Still it's a learning experience for both.

Another country you introduce it to is Idyllic Wastes a country reliant on ManaCrop imports and known for their... well... less ethical use of necromancy. They wish also to be included in Mirai Express delivery networks. Over time you notice that if someone dies while with Arcanet on them their asdtral presence (aka, soul) seems to be missing. Arcanat is magical in nature, is it being used by the Litchdom to collect souls?

Mana Batteries are improved, now being ale to last a whole 6 hours.

Well, this was...surprising. She wasn't actually expecting it to be that difficult, but still, the knowledge would clearly help her not just in wrestling or boxing, but general combat as well. Something nice however is, if wrestling permitted flight, as it was a natural thing fairies could do, she could dive kick her foes unlike in boxing, which certainly would be quite effective if landed on target. Still, there was plenty more time to practice, and instead of trying to get a new job or anything like that, Floe would focus on only two things, that being training boxing, and training wrestling. While she didn't need much help in the former, the latter would certainly be important, and some of its skills could transition to the former. After all, making sure she got gold was imperative to her. Of course, realistically, there was no way she could really solidify a victory through training alone, but considering her natural skill at combat, it would help and be a decent bonus. In fact, it likely would help her in combat as well and just make her that little bit more terrifying in a one on one engagement. Worst case scenario she'll probably have to be content with getting bronze or silver, even if she'd be upset at such a thing. Unrealistically, like her expectations, this clearly would solidify her position as 1st in both competitions. After all, there was no way she could lose with her skill and a good amount of time dedicated to training...right?

>Action One. Training in boxing continues.

The poor Dwarf has had enough, he tells Floe to take a break. She is too much for him. Instead for a whole day he instructs the lesser fey under her. Floe possibly annoyed that time is running out would train herself, only to see the next day what is going on. The lesser fey have been taught by the Dwarf and she is to fight each of them for 2 minutes, that's so they are always rested and she is not. That is how floe would train until the Olympics. a truly hellish training regiment... but it works. (hopefully).

Once again we ask that we can hire mercenaries from the security company to protect our interests in the uncolonized zone.

Diplo - Gorgon Islands
Recently we have found great success selling in the Gorgon Islands, and seeing as so many among the Islands yearn for the lifestyle of the Rancher we wish to either establish ourselves with ranches on the island or alternately cooperate with your government to colonize some of the new world where we may establish Gorgon operated ranches in a region ripe for the landing, since our own government seems to be uninterested in expansion there.

YRL truly holds a monopoly in Northern Dorn and while that brings benefits it also brings many responsibilities with it.

Diplo 2: The Gorgons are very happy you want to build a ranch within ERS itself, but will not hand out a permit until the Olympics are over. Once the Olympics are done and over with you are free to construct a Ranch within the republic.

The Dwarven alcohol is introduced and is very liked by the people of ERS. It's not refined like ERS alcochol, but the raw craftsmanship and skill with which it was made makes up for that.

The ingredients start slowly spreading throughout the cyclops island. The Cyclops are maliciously experimenting with creating the best dishes they can often trying to improve what the cook book says. A new class of Cyclops is born "Cook" and it is certain that one say native Cyclopen cuisine will reach the levels of Calderian one.

> EVENT
The Olympics are finally starting with nations from all over the world finally coming together for this momentous event. As an opening ceremony the representatives of all nations will march onto the Cooperous stadium and swear an oath to the Audience and each other, that they will engage in the competitions fairly.

The first representation is of course the representation of ERS. They put on a truly flamboyant display as Cheerleaders dance around them as they enter the competition.

One by one come out the representatives of every nation. The event seems rather normal and the audience seems all riled up. That is until the more controversial representations appear.

It's the Undead of the Church of rebirth with Elizabeth herself leading them. The Stadium goes quiet, but then one man perks out of the cloud and starts clapping and other's join him. It's not the roaring applause other teams got, but as warm of a reception as could have been expected.

After Elizabeth come the representatives of the Litchdom, then the Calderian Empire and the last ones to come out are the 2 Dornish sister-nations... wait... 2? Why is there a 3rd one?

It seems that the Nations of the Warp have been invited as well. There they come, the represenatatives of Orkkhuz (34), Eternia(35), the Starless Lands (36), the Golden Fort(37) and Old Dorn(38).

The training Floe received would not be simply endurance after the Dwarf had done their work. As due to the nature of Fey, her opponents were not even a quarter of her height. As such, this wouldn't just be a effort in endurance, but also precision. Regardless, with the long amount of work done to hone her skills, she certainly would be able to fight much longer and her opponents would certainly be unable to beat her in an endurance game. It also meant that she'd be much more likely to land her punches with precision and technique. Regardless, this all would likely help her out not just in the Olympics but also in combat, as it'd make her a lot less predictable and a lot more versatile. Still, it was likely most wouldn't expect anyone from Cafoddwol to have a chance at winning the competitions she was in, especially due to the fact that, unlike Pyre, her name certainly didn't go far and wide across the world, in fact, the fact Pyre wasn't in her place would probably surprise or confuse people. But, this only meant that when she inevitably won, she'd most certainly be much better off after only other fey and maybe a few Eldritch of risk takers bet on her. She expected herself to be considered a dark horse in this race, and she fully expected to win, despite expectations. She'd consider getting some last minute training in, but instead would do something...different. Instead, she'd research the species of other nations as best she could to try and figure out their strengths and weaknesses, along with the strengths and weaknesses of the other competitors if such a thing was possible.

>Action One. Research thine enemy before the big day, if possible.

>Action Two. Naturally, being so cocksure of her victory, Floe would bet 150 gold on herself on boxing...
>>
>>4194863
When floe researches the enemies for the disciplines she is in she feels like she by all means has a good shot at 3rd place in Boxing and Wrestling.

In Wrestling the biggest danger seems to be Polemistis the Head Primarch and the Naga representative. Larger races always have an advantage in wrestling as it's all about grabbing your opponent and holding them down. The Uwuin'taipan are also a danger, but due to how easily one can crack their exoskeleton by stretching it, it's not the perfect sport for them. A dark-horse for the tournament is the Giant beetle of the hive. By all means the most massive contender, it's a danger just because of how hard it'll be to take down.

In boxing Polemistis and the High Priest of Flame seem to be the favorites. Polemistis while incapable of magic, is a master and countering mages and all forms of martial arts, while the High Priest of Flame uses his explosion magic mainly to empower his punches and heightened mobility... which includes flight. Other than that a Calderian Great or Pendragon of the Church of Rebirth could be a threat in this discipline.

Taking 1st place for Floe seems unlikely... unless she got a quick power-boost:
Power Boosts:
> taking Narsician drugs (temporarily raises magic power, but reduces it slightly permanently
> being soulgranted
> getting some God's blessing
> chaos stuff

(Floe raises her chance of winning by researching opponents)

Exalted Express sends it's alive Samrinthians to cover the Olympics. It will be a joyous event and in spite of the prize increase newspaper sales skyrocket in all the nations the newspaper covers.

Giants Crabs and Eldritch mages are hired to safeguard stuff being performed near and under the lake.

People seem to be leaving the area rather than agreeing to rent. Samrinthia is a lightly populated nation where people prefer to own their own instead of renting. An ttempt at enforcing rent merely has the Steppe Elves moving to virgin lands, somewhat annoying the Cattle Barons whom they were subjects to.

The Cheese is introduced. While somewhat sour for ERS tastes they love love it melted on bred. In fact they already started developing their own variant, by letting a type of mold grow on it. They would be interested in importing Dwarven Goats so they can produce the cheese locally from the start.

The Dwarves are obviously interested, very much so even, but there is one problem. Dwarven land is... mountains. Constructing train lines there will be at least 4 times more expensive than usual (200g). The Dwarves are distrustful of golems and they got Rattakian slaves for that.
