You are Magnus Faxerus, Sith Acolyte in training and master beast tamer.

Almost an entire week has passed since you went out to retrieve your newest and greatest bitch. Before that, you pounded Juyo and general Force utility abilities into three maggot acolytes. It was really quite the experience.

Oh, you also ended up having sex with the closest thing to a rival your father has after some grappling you performed to avoid getting sodomized anally with a finger against your consent.

A powerful Dark Council member is now your mistress, but a powerful Dark Council member is now your mistress, that new reality cannot be stressed enough.

The first chapter in your story is already quite the chronicle.

>[X] "Eh, I think our founder still has us beat. Faxerus, not... Well, you know."
>[X] "They'll be part of the Sith Empire again. Not like they need to eat much."
>[X] "Do take care of them, they're just so precious."

What he did was unprecedented for any Sith and lauded in his age for the sheer practicality in ensuring his legendary blood would run only through one family. It made him far more distrustful than any other Sith however, not that Sith were exactly trustful in the first place. A necessary sacrifice for the stability of the Empire. Hopefully and most likely, you won't have to cull your kin in the foreseeable future: Revan, the Abomination, and their assassin are to thank for that.

"Eh, I think our founder still has us beat. Faxerus, not... Well, you know."

"I would've laughed at you if you compared your branch of that great man's family to him."

Smiling, a laugh escapes from yourself. "That would be something that could make a man like you laugh."

"Enough about my hypothetical amusement, what are your plans for these beasts? They're crawling all over the academy like gizka and likely to eat more than they do, nevermind if they breed rapidly."

"They'll be part of the Sith Empire again. Not like they need to eat much."

Tremel raises a hand to his chin. "You are here at your father's behest and carry some of his authority. Reestablishing the taming of tuk'ata for academy use has been a widely debated subject since the rebuilding of the academy as well, so it wouldn't raise much trouble beyond logistics. These specimens seem passive enough to avoid causing harm among the academy members and staffs, which will make most domestic troubles a result of our behavior than theirs."

"Do take care of them, they're just so precious."

"We will, so long as they behave."

You nod and pet your mighty bitch.

This was all worth the almost week-long trek to and from the oasis.

>[ ] "What was my father like during his time here?"

Lemme throw a couple votes in before I collapse

Glad to see this back, got worried when last thread died and no continuation showed up
>>
>>4212437
yay, we are back.

>What was dad like here?
>Come on bitch, It's time for Peirce to have his go.
Then when that is done...Not sure if we should put off nox or not
>>
>>4212822
Last thread, I thought it was decided that Pierce should be tested first.

Anyone want to weigh in before I roll for it?
>>
>>4212855
Oh yeah. So it was.

Sorry, my brain is mush, he was meant to be tested with prospective mates in that typical way of beating the shit out of eachother.

>[X] "What was my father like during his time here?"
>[X] Go to the acolyte chambers and rest, it's been a while since you've slept on an actual bed.

It wouldn't hurt to hear how your father was like when he was around your age roaming the dunes of Korriban. Might even lead to some insight as to who he really is now. He'll probably never hear about you questioning others about his character, so you won't have to fear reprisal. Your father's not the type to care about that or anything, if your impressions of himself are anything to truly go by.

"What was my father like during his time here?"

"He was quiet, composed, and respectful to everyone, including the diluted filth that was his pathetic excuse for a rival at the time."

You raise an eyebrow. "Vemrin?"

"I recommend forgetting the name of such trash as I did. Shame your father is forced to remember him solely because he was his first obstacle to overcome on his path to greatness."

"...Right. Well, I'll be leaving now."

Tremel nods as you steer your mighty bitch away from him.

You get off her, start walking to your destination, and take off your clothes before plopping yourself on your mistress' bed.

Blinking, you raise your head from your lover's pillows to see her gazing into your eyes from her chamber room's entranceway. "Oh, come on."

"On to you?" The Dark Council member tilts her head. "How forward."

"You know what I— Nevermind, I just want to rest" Plopping your head back on the bed, you sigh.

A coo soothes the stress on your mind. "There'll be plenty of time for that after."

You roll your eyes at the ruffling from Nox stripping herself of clothing.

Should've known what you were in for the moment you came inside her.

>[ ] "I know this odd to bring up, but how well did you know my father outside of strike team missions?"
>[ ] "Alright, teach me even more Mind Manipulation since you're so fond of violating mine's sanctity."
>[ ] "I sincerely hope you are getting on this bed for a full-body cuddle and nothing else."
>[ ] "Do you not know there's now a horde of tuk'ata in the academy willing to die for me?"
>[ ] "...Are you trying to get pregnant or are you simply insatiable?"
>[ ] Mistress, you know how tired I am. Just let me sleep and then I'll be all yours for the morning or night or whatever time period I wake up in.

I am a pessimist, first and foremost.
Second, the QM has told us that it will come back to haunt us at some point as most things do.
Thirdly, sith tend to advance by murdering their superiors and claiming their seat. Anybody who murders us now is already going to become the apprentice of the emperors wrath, the third most powerful man in the empire after the voice or maybe vice versa, while also being the concubine of the leader of a sphere of influence.
to put it into perspective, a dark council member rules over one of the FACETS of imperial society, with almost unrivaled authority in that area of expertise.

So you're saying instead of having a big target on our back, now we have a gigantic target on our back?
Sounds like a good challenge to face.
>>
>>4213190
While true, there is also the point of "Amount of people who want to kill us has expanded" which is undeniale.

What is up in the air is if our family/father is now included in that group. If it is.....whoo. We are in some trouble. If not, then we are probably fine barring that one dark council member who we humiliated indirectly.
>>
>>4213197
If we do come into conflict with the Faxeras family, who are the people we need to keep a lookout for? C'ept for Dad of course.
>Straight up stole the lost art she practices through her apprentice.
I wouldn't call that indirect.
>>
>>4213203
Not our fault she picked an idiot for an apprentice.

Anyway, mother is a fuckoff danger psycho whoo hoo stay out of reach! alert.
Our siblings are wild cards but since we are the big brother, we can win.

Vette is an assassin and a thief but a softy so not much of a worry from her.....I think Pierce and Quinn are the big dangers left, since Pierce is a proper soldier and Quinn is ruthlessly willing to do anything, even betraying the wrath in the making. A man with that level of dedication is a foe to be wary of.

To hell with it, you're going to be literally fucked whatever you do or say. Resisting Nox with how close you've grown to her is nothing but a vain task. Better to submit yourself to her lusts and get some training in while you can. Worst the woman could do is make you into her obedient insane pet, which is actually pretty horrible but not as bad as a mind wipe.

"Alright, just teach me even more Mind Manipulation while you do it since you're so fond of violating mine's sanctity alongside my body's."

"I'd call that a valid compromise if it wasn't a win-win proposal." The powerful woman slithers across the bed and over your body.

You yawn. "Just do it, by which I mean me, already."

With a tap to your forehead, Nox sends you into a deep sleep.

Eternity, eternity, and eternity pass through your slumbering mind before your will rises from nothingness to restore some semblance of time.

>Expert Mind Manipulation Experience Gained: 4/10 -> 5/10

The warping of your internal clock is replaced with a stream of your memories.

Your attempts to resist are far less effective than the last time she pulled this trick, no doubt leading to many mischievous tampering.

Again, the stream of memories is replaced by a bedlam cacophony of others' ravings, impulses, and traumas.

It's all overwhelming at first, but you push, isolate, and destroy every single one that you know isn't from your own mind, subsuming it back in its primordial slumber of darkness.

>Expert Mind Manipulation Experience Gained: 5/10 -> 6/10

You open your eyes to the growing familiar sight of Nox's chamber room's ceiling. "...Why can't I feel my everything?"

The mewling coo of a thoroughly pleased slumbering woman answers your question.

A sigh escapes your lips.

While not bad by any means, this isn't exactly a perfect arrangement.

Well, you did just have a night filled with literal crazy sex while you were unconscious. Best to soak it in as it is one of the few benefits to this apprentice/slave-master/mistress relationship. There is a lot ahead of you with all the business you left behind to get the Mighty Queen.

You do your best to nuzzle your pillow to get into a relaxed mood only to stir the resting woman.

"...Greedy boy, wanting more of me."

Rolling your eyes over to Nox, you scoff. "You're the one who's been riding me since... however long it's been since you put me asleep."

"I stopped a couple hours ago." She kisses your cheek. "You were begging me to, your subconscious anyway."

"Women are supposed to be hard to please, but it shouldn't take hours for you to get off."

Cackling, the Darth slaps her hand against your side. "That's why it happened multiple times and why your subconsciousness was begging me."

"And here I thought I was going to live a long life with my vitality in tact."

"Pretty sure men would rather die a man at a young age over dying a virgin at the rotting age of a century."

"Those men are fools." You scoff.

Nox raises herself over you, obscuring your view of the ceiling. "...Are you saying you regret ever having sex with me?"

"No, no, no, no..." You tilt your Head. "Well, when I actually take the time to think about i—"

The deafening slap of your mistress' hand against your face stops you from finishing your sentence. "I would break your mind and make your insane husk worship my divine body if I didn't like you sane." She rubs the reddening skin of your handsome face. "You would be so cute as a mad boy, though."

Another sigh escapes your lips.

This is your life now.

Didn't feel like sidetracking to me.
She always responds to our stray thoughts.

>>4215311
Why do you think it's such a bad idea?
>>
>>4215315
Don't mention our father, for the love of our skin. Also, she started putting stray thoughts in our head. "Handsome face".

But back to the point, she is an insane creature given over to the whims of the darkside which change with the winds. But one thing she is very clear about is that she hates our father due to him snubbing her and her affections turned into acid. That is, in fact, a large reason for why she decided to "ensnare" us as a way to metaphorically get back at father dearest.
>>
>>4215329
I'm not sure talking about Dad with her will be worse than letting her fuck with our head at every opportunity.

I mean she gave us a history lesson and didn't mind telling us to ask our Dad to clarify things.
Then we told her to stop pursuing him.
She just laughed at it and continued acting her normal self.
I don't think it will end up being a monumental mistake.

You would pity yet cherish the insane child between you and your dark mistress. He would definitely be the type to do all the rekless Sith things you look down on other Sith for doing. Then again, he may surprise you by becoming like your father. Poor likely literal bastard would never be the type for traditional family-esque activities with that twisted nature.

"By the force, that will probably be our son if this keeps going."

"Wouldn't he just be adorable!"

"No, no he would... Actually, I can imagine him being very cute in a horrifyingly innocent kind of way despite the madness."

"That's why he would be adorable in the first place!"

You groan.

Not even a month together, and you're already discussing how rightfully cute your mad spawn would be.

Speaking of babies.

"I take it you heard about the tuk'ata infestation." You turn to your mistress. "Any of the puppies caught your eye?"

"Puppy, I brought you here right after you handled that business, and you're my only pet, Caeles' big boy."

You blink.

There is only one way to kill her obnoxious master attitude.

"Just what was my father like back in your academy days?"

Mrs. Maybe-Future Faxerus sighs. "The same pompous ass, but less cynical."

"Less cynical?"

"He had this vibrant air about him back then; it's gone now."

You hum.

That could mean a great many things, but a lot of people are happier or idealistic when they're young compared to their adulthood.

"Why don't we have a picnic?"

"Oh yes, let's have a picnic on this desert planet with haunted ruins." Nox giggles as she pets your head. "You're such a silly boy."

You roll your eyes and avert your gaze. "You know I just came from an oasis, right?"

"A dusty, crusty oasis, yes."

Thoughts of fighting with your mistress on the subject cross your mind for a millisecond before dying in vain to your own logic.

Sand would ruin the entire thing anyway.

War changes a lot of people, if war stories and shell shock are to be believed. Constant stress the likes of which war brings either breaks people or remakes them to better cope with it. Pierce was probably the same anti-social animal before it, but Malavai could've somehow been an even more timid man. Maybe you'll go mad with the way things are already going in your life.

"My father has seen a lot since then. The war probably changed him."

Nox scoffs. "What a cliche."

"It's war." You look down at your mistress. "It's the closest thing to a hell in the galaxy."

"No, that would be Tatooine."

"Is it really that bad compared to Korriban?"

"A dozen times worse."

You look back up to the chamber ceiling. "...Why do I get the feeling I'll have to go there some day and hate it?"

"Because you probably will."

A sigh escapes your lips.

You already despise sand, but you're going to loathe the existence of the millions of coarse grains if you have to spend more one entire day walking and sleeping on Force forsaken crushed rocks.

"Let's continue training, please."

Nox moans. "Just lay in bed with me, I'll train you right."

"...That's neither the training I want or need."

"I'd say you desperately need some sex training: your still performance last night can't be blamed on you, but our first coupling was filled with many rookie mistakes."

"Haven't you had enough for one day?"

A boisterous laugh thrums from your mistress' chest. "...No."

Groaning, you look away from the Darth again.

You sold your dignity and virtue for power yet you still have positive expectations.

>[X] "You were my first, okay. Don't I get any slack?"

The sex, in your experience, was exhilarating beyond your expectations. Of course, you didn't expect much, but it was still pretty nice. You can still feel the afterglow of last night's constant rutting as well, which is just amazing. A part of you wishes you were conscious for the entire experience, but your intelligent side knows you would've been broken into an obedient sex pet if you were.

"You were my first, okay. Don't I get any slack?"

Mocking laughter fills the air. "And you're my..."

Blinking, you raise a hand to cover your face.

A fucking whore took you—

One fierce slap stops you from finishing your thought.

"How. Dare. You."

Yet another sigh escapes your lips as you look down at a demon-eyed Nox. "What did you expect me to think?"

"I am your Goddess and divine mistress, you pathetic mortal whelp."

A whine murmurs in your throat as you hold your head in your hands.

You've been a bad boy.

Tears stream down your cheeks.

In just a few seconds, you went form her beloved pet to her disloyal, arrogant mutt. She gave you salvation, and you covered yourself in shit, you who already carried your forsaken father's blood and his father's before him. Now you're a filthy, filthy, filthy worm wiggling in sin. There is no heaven, no pleasure for you now or ever again in this existence.

Filthy, filthy, filthy, you are filthy.

Whimpering, you weep into your hands.

A soft caress from overtly familiar hands soothes the agony of your filth from your filthy, filthy existence.

"There, there. You are still mine, however filthy."

Your sadness turns to joy as you embrace your salvation. "Please, never abandon me again!"

"Will you be a good boy?"

Nodding furiously, you hold your mistress closer.

She is more than you deserve.

No, you deserve far more than this kind of treatment. You wouldn't be this twisted and manipulative with her despite everything she's done to your dignity. She can try and break your will all she wants, but you will beat her nefarious intentions back. One day, she will see you as an equal and as your woman.

>Expert Mind Manipulation Experience Gained: 5/10 -> 8/10

The woman in your hands stiffens. "...Huh, I did not expect you to be able to break out of that so quickly."

"Really?" You look down into Nox's normal orange eyes. "I mean, I didn't either, but you have seen how much I'm progressing."

"I was entirely self-taught. If I was in your position, I would've mastered the art of tampering minds by now."

"That... reminds me of what my father said about being Barris' apprentice: all the man did was send him after his enemies and loose-ends."

"Hands-on experience is the best experience, wouldn't you say?" Giggling, the Darth shocks you.

A sigh escapes your lips as you pull her closer to your body. "Yeah, makes me wonder why you knocked me unconscious last night over keeping me awake."

"If you were conscious for the entire thing, I would've driven you insane and into a deeper state of worship than the one I just put you in."

Shuddering, you nuzzle against your lover's silky soft face. "That would've been somehow even more horrifying."

The Dark Council member cackles, cuddling you back.

A dog-like whine groans in your throat.

Your first relationship is so fucked up but somehow incredibly nice at the same time.

You've spent more than enough time being tormented by your lovely mistress for one day. It's been almost a week since you've been gone, and you need to catch up with all your apprentices. There's also the matter of deciding who gets to ride the big powerful bitch to create big powerful tuk'ata pups for you. In the end, you're going to be thee one who wins whichever one is left standing.

"Do you mind if I use Khem later to try shaking out a few pieces of lore from his master's tomb?"

The woman shrugs. "It's your funeral if he feels you're dishonoring his lord."

"That's not my intention at all: Tulak Hord is one of the Dark Lord's I respect the most."

"Since when?"

You kiss the side of Nox's face. "Ever since my father told me tales of how he slaughtered Jedi singlehandedly with Juyo."

"How unlike you to be such a Sith."

Rolling your eyes, you slip out from beneath your lover and land on your feet.

"What are you doing?"

"Excuse me, I have apprentices to thrash and torture-train myself." You blink. "Also, I need to go and setup a tuk'ata fight club. Take care."

Gathering up your clothes and redressing yourself, you look back at your mistress waving farewell.

There could be time to squeeze in one more training session.

"...Can you shock me before I leave, please?"

You twitch as another zap runs through your nerves. "Not the kind I was referring to."

"We'll have plenty of time for training after you finish your business." Nox giggles.

Rolling your eyes and smiling, you walk out your lover's chambers and make your way to the nearest of your trainees, Naziha.

The girl, spying on other training Sith and petting a tuk'ata pup, perks her ears up as you near. "Who i—"

You wave as the kitty cat pauses, drawing whines from the alchemical beast.

It seems she's found a pet already.

Quite a few things you can talk with this cute kitty cat about. You didn't expect your journey to take so long or bear so much fruit but it did. There's going to be a lot for you to talk about with the others and everyone else you meet during your time here. Hell, it's definitely going to spread beyond just this planet and hang over you for the rest of your life.

"So, who tried to kill you in your medical sleep?"

"...Three or four, I think?" Naziha raises her petting hand to her chin, making the beast whimper louder. "There was about thirteen if you count all the ones that went for us. Pierce accidentally killed four, but we got to kill the rest after we woke up. Some of them weren't even from our own pod of acolytes."

"Yeah, people get bloodthirsty here."

The sentient feline sighs. "Arezoo cried and comforted every single one of them before they were killed, even the ones she killed herself."

A groan churns from your throat.

She really is going to be one of those odd Sith looked down on even by the most reasonable of them, if you don't kill her that is.

Mr. Kitty Lover bites and tugs at the sleeve of the girl's hand.

"Aww, the walking pet has a pet."

"He's not my pet!" Karimi pets the beast, changing its whines into an odd cooing purr. "He just likes the way my fur feels on him is all."

You snicker. "I hope the kitty hasn't been slacking off her training. How else are you going to win your endless dogged rivalry with a Sith's best friend?"

The cat woman tilts her head.

Blinking, you join her in craning your brain holder.

Vette would be so disappointed in you for making a not-bitch enough shittalk like that.

While you can feel the big bitch's presence in the Force, you'd very much like to know what your kitty cat thinks of the powerful Sith beast. It's killing you to see the look on everyone's faces at the mention of her giant form. That magnificent beast is now your pet and will be the mother of your personal pack of powerful tuk'ata. Pups the size of Pierce would be adorable to raise.

"You wouldn't have happened to have seen a giant tuk'ata around, would you?"

The bipedal feline shivers much like a cat. "Words been going around about it and that she belongs to you. Are the rumors true?"

Grinning, you nod.

"Bloody fucking hell, how did that happen?!" She picks up the pup in her arms, making the beastie coo/purr again.

"I asked her nicely."

"Oh come on, tell me!"

You snidely look away from your apprentice. "Alas, my would-be acolyte, you are not ready to hear of the higher arts in action."

"How would knowing what you did harm you if I wouldn't obviously be unable to replicate it?"

"Oh, it wouldn't." Turning back, you laugh. "I just want to play with you, kitty cat."

"This kind of play isn't fun."

"For you, that is?"

Rolling her slitted eyes, the Cathar plops herself on to the floor, electing a small 'umph' from her squeaking pet.

You chuckle again at your apprentice.

Alongside Yang, she's one of your two favorites.

Conduct our own research in Sith alchemy and it's practices. Get some data pads, sith crystals, books- I don't know get some reading materials and see if we can make alloys or complex chemical compounds out of sand. Sand to glass, minerals, dirt, rocks, metal. If that's too easy then try making a primitive droid.

I don't personally think that such research is going to be all that helpful. if we were to practice alchemy, which we should do at a later date after everything else, we should try to work on converting shit into gases then back to solids/liquids

It's important you know if you're going to see this wonderful sight often from now on. You can endlessly tease her about it too if she does go through with it. Better yet, you can tease her in front of everyone else and draw forth many different emotions. Emotional training like that would he progress while being incredibly amusing to you and everyone else.

"Are you going to keep the little bastard?" You crouch to look face-to-face with the pup.

The mutt child coos/purrs.

Lifting her upper body, Naziha shakes her head. "No, he just started following me around; I didn't decide anything."

"Yet you're hold him in your arms..."

"That's because he whines and bites because I don't give him attention, and I don't have it in me to kill such an ugly baby."

"So you're content to just let him follow you around until you leave Korriban or die here?"

"I don't really care to be honest." She looks down at the needy cub. "He will probably eat my corpse if I die here now that I think about it."

The little tuk'ata's throat thrums with joy.

Naziha scoffs and rolls her eyes. "Twisted runt."

Chuckling, you shake your head at the sigh. "Hold on, let's gather the others." You close your eyes to feel out their presences through the Force.

"If you're going to thoroughly beat us again, I assure you we're ready this time."

A heavier laugh thrums from your chest. "No, no you're not." You open your eyes. "Go get Yang from the med bay and bring him here, I'll stop Arezoo from trying to make a dangerous social life in the academy."

Needing no further orders, your apprentice rises and departs as you do the same.

It doesn't take either of you long to bring back your respective crew members .

The pink woman is somewhat annoyed, but the sickly boy is happy to see you again.

By that, I mean train the mind crap that Nox is so fond of training on us, using them, then their dogs as props/targets .

A little bit of takashi and showing the class force concealment should set us alright for a 3 hour sparring match. Then we can set peirce up with his trial and finally go tomb delving.
>>
>>4222668
Yeeeaaaah I was gonna say something about not flaunting around we're fucking a Dark Council member. It's not really something like a badge or title you're supposed to show off to everyone. Everyone practically already knows. No need to make it any more awkward.
>>

Way I see it, the faster this band-aid is ripped off the better.
The ramifications are only going to increase with time, and they should know how it could effect them.
>>
>>4222688
Especially since we are, to not put too fine a point on it, the bitch.

And using someone else's name or authority when we dont reaaally need to is a show of weakness and insecurity, as though it is our sole point of power that we were born the right way rather than having our own physical power.

>>4222692
They probably already know, the rumours have circulated already. We gain nothing and confirm a rumour by doing that.
>>
>>4222697
These guys don't know much about Sith culture, and what it could mean for them.
Explaining it to them is educational.
>>
>>4222710
Fuck them. They survive or they die, do you get the luxury of knowing that people may try to assassinate you?

If it means that much to you, then explain that due to us being the son of a powerful man, people want to kill us. They also like to kill people who associate with us. Use it to justify the 14 who attacked them.
There, same message without compromising our tattered and abused integrity.
>>
>>4222719
>compromising our integrity
...It's not like we're going around lying to everyone we meet, or going against any of our deep-seated beliefs.
Telling people the facts isn't a sign of weakness or insecurity. Admitting you're in a position that's desirable and being actively fought over even outside of this academy is just being honest, not hiding behind a name or title.
>>
Another minor thing, is the updated pastebin. That would be useful for planning lessons
>>
>>4222735
If they bring it up, I dont see the point in lying. But likewise I don't see the point in bringing up the fact we are a concubine when the given message you want to tell could be done without this fact.

And again, confirming a rumour. A rumour which could be bad for us if they go on around saying we confirmed it. While there is doubt people can choose to dismiss it, when there isnt doubt it becomes useful intelligence they can use.
Is this paranoid? Yes. Is paranoia a bad thing around sith? Absolutely not.
>>
>>4222751

There is a difference between proven truth and accusations that they cant prove.

And when it does get out, we will either be in a much better situation to deal with it or in a position where we are not confined to a single planet or in such a position where it wont be able to be used against us.

This is none of these situations.

These creatures are far too precious and useful to not have in your possession. It's only right your apprentices each get one since you have the biggest bitch of them under your will. You're sure they'll thank you in the future when they're petting their beloved good girls and boys. Also, you want more info on what happened with their would-be assassins.

"I want the two of you to find a tuk'ata like the one our Cathar friend here has: they're pretty great beasts to have as pets and companions."

Arezoo shivers. "They're so primal and savage yet so... aware."

Cooing and purring, Kirimi's unconsential pet turns to the red alien.

"See! Did you just see that!? I was talking about it and it looked at me!"

"Probably because you were the only one talking. Animals can notice things, you know?" Yang sighs, annoyed at the other female acolyte's antics.

"Well, yeah but still... they're like baby sentients or children."

"So are regular dogs and cats." The cat of the group says, petting her not-pet. "It's not like they can really understand us or themselves."

You chuckle. "Naziha told me you guys killed the people who tried to kill you. How did that go?"

Arezoo looks down as Yang shrugs.

"I just hit them over the head with my practice saber until they stopped or could only twitch." The Hutta bog rat yawns. "I tried dueling one just to make it into something, but the fight was all over after I broke his wrist with my first hit."

Changing your gaze to the degenerate, you hum questioningly.

"...They died quickly but slow enough to understand after I stabbed them in the hearts with a scalpel."

You blink. "Couldn't find a knife?"

"It was the nearest thing I could grab to end them before so they wouldn't suffer any longer: Pierce really did a number on them."

The other two hum and nod in affirmation.

Another hum murmurs in your throat.

He is an animal, but he did follow your orders.

You understand why they're just standing and waiting for you to lead them like the sheep they still are, but it'd be good if they showed some initiative. Not like you're going to be around forever or when they need you. Self-sufficiency is a virtue and necessity for a Sith and any real successful person in this galaxy.

"Well, what are you waiting for? It's time to tame a tuk'ata."

"How exactly are we supposed to do that?" Yang asks before turning to Karimi. "How did you?"

"Don't look at me, this little guy just got one accidental pet and he's been on me ever since."

Arezoo lifts her eyebrows and wiggles them. "Accidental?"

"Yeah, accidental. It just happened. I don't like this bastard anymore than you do."

The tuk'ata pup in question does its usual demented purr as his not-owner scratches the top of his head.

"Riiight."

"Oh go cry over your attempted murderers."

"As soon as you let go of that evil little brat."

Yang chuckles. "Ladies, you've both got claws, some literal; we've got other things to do and Magnus is enjoying this far more than I am."

The sides of your lips twitch as you struggle to restrain your laughter and smile.

Something about almost literal cat fights just brings you joy.

"If you must know, you first have to establish dominance. From there, you have to establish a rapport about something you both can relate to. There's a good chance you'll be mauled to death if you can't accomplish either."

"Basically every Sith trial or anything related to being a Sith?" Arezoo sighs.

You nod.

It's a tough and brutal occupation, but that's just the way it is.

The two trainees examine the tuk'ata roaming the training grounds before going their own ways, leaving you with a kitten and her alchemical dog.

Either they'll make you proud or die.

Mr. Little Bastard may or may not be sentient like the others of his kind yet. For all you know about tuk'ata, this 'baby' could really be an extreme version of their runts that gained sentience but never grew up. Either that or he's an old runt that likes being pampered by other people. Really, you should take the time to look into them more.

"Try reaching out to the puppy with your mind." You turn to the eyebrow raising feline sentient. "I'm not sure tuk'ata his age can communicate telepathically yet, but it's worth a try."

"Wait, they can what?!"

"Communicate telepathically. It's not that special of a force ability: most force users subconsciously do so at first. Could be the same for that brat, if he even is one."

Naziha looks down at her still happy pet. "Are you telling me this thing is an old beast in a child-like body?"

"It could be."

"How?! How is that possible, and how can they communicate telepathically?"

"The Force, obviously." You roll your eyes. "They were created with Sith Alchemy and have populated this planet strong in the dark side while we gathered strength in the outer reaches of space." Raising a hand to stroke your chin, you hum. "In that time, they could've gone through any number of mutations; hell, there could be entire subspecies of them on this planet now. I'm surprised most of our records of the beasts are so alike."

Karimi sighs as she looks back up to you. "I swear, this is all going to drive me mad."

"Yeah, it probably will; you wouldn't be the only one."

"If the Force doesn't, maybe the others will."

You raise an eyebrow. "What do you think about them?"

"Well, Yang is alright: he's still sweet despite everything but..."
>>
>(2/2)

"But?"

"It's like he's never talked to another person in his entire life. When he looks at other acolytes or any of the staff, it's like he's looking through them, as if they were a walking bag of meat. I've seen that kind of look on refugees back on Taris, but they weren't nearly as bad."

A hum murmurs in your throat.

You haven't been paying attention to that, but you might have to now.

Grinning, you tilt your head at the feline. "And Arezoo?"

A groan hisses in Karimi's throat as she pets her cooing pet out of reflex to cerainly not get comfort. "She is the complete opposite, and I hate it. The bitch tried to kiss me after I complimented her on the pink skin!"

"Wow! That would've just been...kinda nice?"

Naziha furrows her brow.

"...She actually got me out of sheer surprise."

Holding Little Bastard, the cheeky cat bursts into laughter.

"It was the second most degrading moment of my life." You frown.

"What's the first!?"

A groan of your own churns in your throat.

Maybe you have to rethink your favorites list.

Best to vent your rage and shame with a passive-aggressive somewhat serious joke. You're still boyish-looking enough for it to be seen as funny rather than intimidating. Threatening death is also completely unlike you, you'd just kill someone if you actually wanted them dead, and you're not usually the violent type. You can move on to more important things afterward.

"Disrespectful degenerates, I'm looking forward to killing you now." You huff, crossing your arms.

"Aww! Tall, mad, and cute."

You raise an eyebrow. "I'm cute to you?"

"Uh-huh, for a Sith at least."

"Don't you realize that you have a chance of becoming one, assuming you somehow get out of this alive?"

"I trashtalk Cathar all the time, I can keep it up if I ever get a red lightsaber."

"Since when?"

"Long before this." Naziha scratches the tuk'ata's belly with her other hand, making him squeal growl. "Not a lot of other walking, talking felines to insult here."

"Just look into your Little Bastard's mind already." You groan.

"I can't just do something you haven't given instruction on that sounds hawk-bat shit insane."

"Oh for the love of Rag—"

Naziha furrows her brow as your lips thin.

Do you understand me know?

The kitten blinks. "Was that just..."

Look to the pup and drown out everything else. You know the touch of the Force, it should be easy for you to speak into his mind and listen.

"...Okay." She looks down to her little bastard and focuses her mind.

About a minute passes until the girl lifts her head up.

"I'm getting nothing but weird jabbering chittering."

You raise a hand to your chin. "So it is an actual baby."

"Well duh." She lifts the boy. "Look at how smol he is."

"Smol?"

"Small."

Sighing, you shake your head. "How's training been without me? Have you had time to train much after you healed from your injuries?"

"It's been fine. A lot less injuries without you there to thrash us. We've had a lot of time to train: Imperial medical services are some of the most advanced in the galaxy, especially here."

You hum.

Acolytes are most vulnerable during downtime, which makes it imperative they get back up as soon as they can.

It's obvious that she actually likes the little bastard. You're not sure why she's hiding it from you: it's nothing to be ashamed of, and feeling ashamed over something like this is weakness. You find tuk'ata adorable as well, which there is nothing odd or negative about. Really, she should be more comfortable with all of this. The more she is, the less uncomfortable this insanity will be.

"You love the tyke, don't you?"

"I don't love him!" She lifts the cooing/growling creature into the air. "He's all over me and I can't find his mother, which means I have to take care of him now. I hate him."

"Riiight."

"I do! Look!" Naziha scratches his stomach with her claws, making him shake his leg. "He hates this so much he's twitching in anger."

Muffling a laugh, you lock eyes with ecstatic tuk'ata.

He's a lucky boy to end up with a master who values him.

"Do you want to train since it's just the two of us?"

Lowering her boy, the woman looks down at him. "There's actually three. I'm not sure he'll let me."

"Just put him down." You laugh again.

"I'm not gonna... Oh, you meant literally."

The little bastard whines as his feet touch the ground again, but doesn't do anything to get back in his owner's grasp.

A grin forms from your curved lips.

She might actually have more potential than Yang despite being a formerly crazed literal cat person.

>[X] Telekinesis.

Besides reinforcement, telekinesis is the other staple in every force user's arsenal. There's just something about flinging giant piles of scrap at people, crushing weapons, and choking people without even lifting a finger, though many people do as it helps them focus. Someone with telekineses facing off someone without it or force absorption is in for a lot of trouble.

With a flick of your wrist, you swipe the cat girl off her feet.

Naziha catches herself before her back can hit the ground and shoots you a look. "How did you do that?"

"Haven't you ever seen a Sith choke a man by just lifting their hand? I mean, you should've by now: it's pretty popular around here and often used against uppity acolytes."

"I prefer spending time in the desert rather than in this...sterile place."

You tilt your head. "Too used to shithols, huh?"

"No... Well, yeah."

With a hum, you fling your cat off to the side.

The poor thing lands on the hard ground with a yelp. "How am I supposed to learn from this!"

"In the exact same way you and the others learned from the last time I thrashed you: improvisation. Experience is the best teacher." You lift up the kitty and thump her back against the ground. "Come on, this isn't fun if you don't try."

Karimi grunts before drawing on the force only to get flung back again.

An hour and a half passes until your kitty cat puts together a weak force barrier against your usual pushes.

You raise an eyebrow and hum as your apprentice is thrown back for the umpteenth time.

She's finally picked it up.

Feeling your other apprentice's presences, you look to the training area entrance and see Arezoo entering atop a big tuk'ata with Yang someways from an odd one walking at his pace.

It seems they have as well, somewhat.

Arezoo was the least likely person of the three to end up with a big bastard tuk'ata. Yang would've attracted one like him but not that similar, contrary to the odd one he has now. There's something else than just irregular behavior, though. Maybe you'll look into it after you finish what you have planned: the Force knows you have plenty of time for such things. \

"And here I thought you were the big game hunter, Naziha."

"Just because I am a literal big cat doesn't mean I'm a natural hunter." The woman lifts herself up and widens her eyes at her pink comrade. "...Oh, that's what you meant."

Giggling, the degenerate pets her beast. "He can eat yours in one bite, fuzzy."

"I'd kill him if he tried... not that I like mine or anything."

"Suuure you don't."

You chuckle as you drift your eyes to Yang's strange boy.

Afraid, beast?

The creature continued walking in silence, ignoring or not registering your very existence.

A hum chimes in your throat while your lips thin.

Something's wrong with it, you're certain of it now.

You shrug.

There are far more important things to do though.

"Alright, let's all start training again!"

Each of your disciples grown as one.

Your grin returns to your face.

This is going to be so fun.

While you could train them for the rest of the entire day, they need to eat and sleep in place of being dragged to the medbay. A nine hour session will be more than enough to instill all they need to know about some basics. Naziha is likely to advance but not enough to get to the next level: you have to catch the others up to her while matching hers.

You pull your misfit acolytes off or further away from their tuk'ata towards your fine self.

Karimi ducks under your initiating right hook to receive your left elbow to the side of her chin.

Arezoo strikes her fist out in an improvised 'superman' punch too soon to land but on time to feel the impact between your jabbing fist and her liver.

Yang actually catches your punch but is stunned by a slamming headbutt to his nose before you grab his shoulder with your free hand to throw him off his feet with assistance from your leg.

Footworking yourself away from the collapsed three, you laugh at the sight.

They're still so green, but they'll probably be on your current level in two years with this training, if they live that long. You'll be a mid or high-ranking Darth in terms of power or even beyond in that timeframe. Many would rightfully think you value yourself too much, but that's the truth: you've been at this since you hit puberty and your potential speaks for itself.

Your thoughts change back to training as your disciples rise again.

One hour of using the Force to push around your disciples turns to three, another three filled with more thrashings pass, and a final three having them try to push you around with the force for once as you resume flinging them across the grounds.

Their abilities surely improved yet enduranc spent, they stay on the ground this time, only attended to by their respective pets.

You raise an eyebrow again at Yang's silent, vacant pet.

Something is seriously wrong with that thing, you can't help but feel it.

The smartass answer is "Go faster then".
The reasonable answer is that she isn't waiting for us with any set time in mind. I would think we have at the very least 3 hours based upon how long we were willing to train for before everyone needs some sleep. Her hunger won't grow much larger with an hours dalliance but all the same we should get it over with quickly.

You've all had enough for a single day training on these grounds. Sure, you're not nearly as exhausted as these poor bastards, but you need to rest: thrashing a bunch of weaklings without killing them works up some stress. Also, you want to figure out what that weird boy's deal is before you get fucked again, as always.

"Alright, that's enough for today. Pick yourselves up and walk to bed: you've earned it."

Moaning and groaning, the trio do their best to rise.

The odd beast meets your gaze with its own.

Has the pain he carries spoken to you, strange thing?

Yes.

Blinking, you look deeper into its empty eyes.

Who are you?

It turns its head back to its master, watching over him as he rises.

You raise an eyebrow before shrugging it off.

Plenty of time for you to unravel its secrets later.

"So long, I'll be attending to... a certain someone."

Naziha and Yang shoot you odd looks as you head off to your mistress.

It doesn't take you long to find her within her chambeers, naked and under her blanket.

"You felt me coming, huh?"

The Darth grins. "Oh didn't I, sweet boy?"

"...Walked right into that one."

"More like hammered into it... over and over and over..."

You sigh.

There's no rest for a subservient Sith.

May as well ask since it's on your mind and she probably already expects you to ask it to her since she's a nosy Goddess of Sexual Revelation. You can always depend on Her, she is your sex goddess and ever bountiful mistress of non-stop gratification. Really, you should have sex with Her over cuddling because cuddling is something cowardly weak, effeminate men do. Then again, you are a weak effeminate man.

...

You roll your eyes as your lover laughs at her own antics. "Exactly how long did it take you to become Darth?"

"Three years give or take. Not quite sure, that time was quite hectic and I was going planet to planet tracking relics, dying, and talking to dead people."

"...I know you're messing with me, but I also know you're not exactly lying."

Nox giggles. "That's because I'm not, you silly boy." She pats the empty space next to her. "Now... come and prove how much of a man you are."

"Let's just cuddle."

"Cuddle." The Dark Council member pouts. "All you want to do is cuddle. Why can't we just have sex with each other?"

"...I still can't believe this is my first relationship and it's with you of all people and like this."

"What are you waiting for? I'm not getting any younger or older."

You shake your head as you approach the bed.

"No, take off your clothes: if you're going to be on this bed, you're going to be naked."

Rolling your eyes, you strip and plop yourself on to the extremely soft imperial sheets.

Nox in turn rolls over on top of you, interlocking herself with yourself.

You groan as you snuggle with your lover.

Even though this is preferable to constant fucking, it's still somewhat uncomfortable.

You close yoru eyes and do your best to enjoy the nakedness of your lover until you fall asleep.

Opening your eyes, you find Nox gone but yourself still in the real world and not some fever dream.

At least you stopped having those weird visions.

it is passionate and powerful. It's gimmick is becoming more powerful the more you embrace the joy of battle and other passions. Not really all or nothing since those tend to kill people who use em, so long as you can keep hold of youself in your frenzy then you will be fine.
>>
>>4234154
I wonder how being able to use both sides of the force freely will effect how our Juyo develops from now on.

>>
>>4234158
It is a form of martial art, the use of the force isn't really required beyond what all lightsabers require basically to be used efficiently.

The style cares for passion and we have passion enough to go around. To become the best practicioner we need experience though becoming a mindless beast that follows their impulses [like nox] could help with that passion thing as well.

Now is the time to complete the training you've started with this woman ever since you first came to her. You didn't expect to advance so much with something you had little experience or interest in but you did. It might be your mother's talents finally awakening: that perfect nature reading of hers had to be passed on in some way. If it didn't though, you'd really like to know if you'll have one day.

I want to finish what you've been teaching me.

Nox giggles.

You won't be finishing anything: you'll just be taking the next step.

Then help me take it.

Beckoning you, the minx purrs.

A sigh escapes your lips as you approach her desk before letting her caress your face.

Sleep.

The world fades into black for the umpteenth time.

An assorted set of sparks and images representing all that you are appears.

One by one, the images and sparks distort into mockeries of themselves.

You don't know what's happening right now or what anything is, but you know that this is wrong.

Just as the distortions appeared, you warp them back as they should be.

The distortions appear again and again countless times before they're finally set right.

You've made it too far to just leave it hanging when you're on the cusp of mastery. It doesn't matter if you're out for a few hours or entire weeks, you need to step forward. Nox won't stay ahead of you forever: one day, you'll lay beside or on top of her as an equal. No one will think you unworthy of your blood or family legacy. Everything you desire will be yours.

Again, I'm not done yet.

Cackling fills your mind again.

Do you want me to drive you insane, dear Magnus?

You furrow your brow.

If that's what it takes.

Oh, aren't you a go-getter?

I have never heard of that phrase in my entire life.

A grunt growls in your throat.

Just do it already.

You blink before clutching your sides and laughing.

Penises look like worms, little worms with weird little mouths that spit white goo. They're so ridiculous and one is flopping inbetween your legs. It goes into a woman's vagina, a roast-beef looking flesh cave that bleeds every so often, and shoots its breeding goo into it so one sperm can penetrate a woman's egg. You life forms are so ridiculous.

Throwing your head back against your pillow, you laugh harder.

You put your crotch worm into Nox's bleeding roast beef cage and shot your reproductive goo into her who knows how many times now.

The laugh dies as you freeze.

This is wrong.

You clutch your head.

Some things may be ridiculous but they're that way because certain factors came together to make creatures function in that manner.

The fog lifts from your mind as you work through every corrupted bit of it until it was pure again.

>Force Ability Improved: Expert Mind Manipulation -> Master Mind Manipulation - Dominate Mind, Insanity, Mind Wipe, Lesser Mass Insanity, Lesser Mass Dominate Mind, Lesser Mass Mind Wipe, and Mass Alter Sense Perception

A cacophany of different thoughts and feelings permeate the room.

It seems your past the threshold now.

Everything about this is something you imagined you'd see once you arrived at this point but still unreal. It's no wonder Nox went mad if she did after truly mastering the tampering of minds. You're reading old thoughts, seeing old memories, and watching brain functions simultaneously all the while observing everything happening right now.

Fucking hell, is this what you experience every moment, Nox?

Yes, it takes some getting used to, doesn't it?

That's putting it very lightly.

At least you understand how I feel now. Sure, I can concentrate on myself to block it all away but my world gets a lot more colorful when I don't.

You tilt your head.

So I can block it out?

If you're willing to waste the energy to concentrate on that rather than your penis for four hours, yes.

Blinking, you plop back on Nox's bed.

Hold on, did I really laugh about penises for four hours?

Giggling erupts in your mind.

Yes, it was cute and hilarious.

How? It felt like a minute or two to me.

Time flies when you're both having and nursing a distorted perception of reality.

You sigh.

Since you can make out all the minds of every tuk'ata in the academy now, you may as well finish things up.

Your mind links to all the ones you recognize as your beasties.

My pets, those who would consider yourselves alphas, it's time to decide who rides the Mighty Queen.

Leaving instructions for them to settle it outside academy grounds, you let yourself rest on Nox's bed.

You actually feel bad about this but there was going to be conflict no matter what you did, best to let it happen on your terms.

When it is most practical too, such as in the event as she becomes a traitor to the empire. Before then would be stupidly dangerous due to the disparity in our power and I can't think of a more concrete reason to betray her.

>[X] Do you want to have dinner together? I'm starving.
>[X] Reach out to the odd tuk'ata's mind, you want to understand it.

It's been twelve hours and you woke up at about six or eight. Your mind is in need of some rest, but you can keep going for an hour or two more. A good meal would give you some relief, though rest is the true cure. Hopefully Nox isn't as frisky as she usually is, so you can get some rest. Keeping her waiting too long just seems to make her worse.

Do you want to have dinner together? I'm starving.

Sure, why not? I'll have a mess hall slave come up with food.

You raise an eyebrow

Don't you mean mess hall worker?

That's what I said.

Shaking your head, you sigh.

Too many Sith look down on the foundation of their power, though one could argue that a Sith that doesn't do so isn't really a Sith.

You may as well also peek into Yang's odd pet's mind while you're at it. There is something odd and unique about that creature. It could be what you proposed Naziha's little bastard was: really an ancient beast masquerading as something younger. With the Force, almost anything is possible.

Closing your eyes, you focus your mind fully on the strange beast's.

Why do you seek to intrude on the sanctity of my mind?

You furrow your brow.

What are you?

Answer my question and I may answer yours.

Opening your eyes, you blink.

There is definitely something going on with that thing.

>[X] Why are you here?

This is extremely strange and completely unprecedented: this thing is intelligent, unlike a lot of other tuk'ata. He looks like them and still is a big bastard, so there might not be that much deviation from the standard alchemical beast. Wisdom comes with age, which may explain that away. Still, this is all speculation. You'll only get the truth from him.

It's simply curiosity, you're the weirdest Tuk'ata I've seen so far.

Yet you've encountered the Mighty Queen.

You raise your brow.

She was intelligence but still savage.

Far too few of us are intelligent.

Relenting, you sigh.

Still though.

Another, bestial, sigh rings through your mind.

I am not unique. There is no need to prioritize me.

A scoff escapes your lips.

How old are you? Your Sith hasn't degraded.

Old enough and I am erudite.

You shake your head.

Why are you here?

Paradise, the Oasis, was my home until you arrived. I was curious of the modern Sith, and what would become of the oasis' residents.

Humming, you relax on Nox's bed.

Boy could be lying, but you cant se a reason why he would.

He may have some interesting things to say if you mention your super special awesome bloodline. Wouldn't hurt to find out what he thinks about your kind as you are now: peoples' opinions on things often give insight in their thought processes. Hopefully he isn't some powerful demigod tuk'ata with a grudge against your family. The chances of that being real are incredibly low, knowing your dynasty founder's perfect reputation.

If you're old enough to be from the era I think you are, you should know my bloodline.

A guttural scoff churns in your mind.

There is most likely not a practitioner in the Force, living or dead, that does not know of your blood's origin.

You raise an eyebrow.

But did you ever see my family's progenitor personally?

It was impossible not to in those bygone days, he was everywhere as were the Sith and the Sith blood.

A hum rumbles in your throat.

And what do you think of us as we are now?

You have lost your ancient arts, fallen prey to dissent, and thinned your blood. While two were inevitable after the genocide, the loss of Alchemy and Sorcery is unacceptable and inexcusable. Why were they not passed on?

Shrugging, you focus back on Nox's chamber room ceiling.

Afraid you'll have to talk to all the surviving dead Sith on Dromund Kaas, Yavin 4, Ziost, and Nathema about that. Maybe you will if Yang gets out of this alive.

A guttural humming of sorts snarls in the confines of your consciousness.

Perhaps I will.

Yawning, you nuzzle one of Nox's imperial pillows.

Maybe you'll join in since what little you know of alchemy is already enough to create unlimited valuable resources from practically nothing.

A lot of questions left on your mind as to what the hell this tuk'ata is and everything about him he's been vague on giving details about. He's a treasure trove of information if he really is from way back when before the Jedi committed genocide against your people. Whatever holocrons remaining from those days are already in Imperial custody for academic study.

I don't understand, I can't read your mind even as I am now.

Alchemy gave us an innate connection to the Force. I may not be as skilled as you are in the manipulation of minds, but I've learned to keep mine hidden from others.

You raise an eyebrow.

Why?

Better the intelligent tuk'ata think you mindless rather than a rival as the Sith thought of any that did not know the ancient arts.

A hum murmurs in your throat.

Do you know any of either? If not, know any nice resting grounds where I can reclaim the lost arts?

Silence fills your mind for once.

Old Boy?

Just one. I would not recommend it.

You raise your upper body.

Is it your master's?

No.

Who was your master?

You wouldn't recognize the name.

Clucking your tongue, the annoyance in you rises.

Nox, since you can just hear things anyway, what do you think?

What do I think? What are you talking about?

You blink.

The old mutt shielded her mind from Darth Nox of all Force-damned people, which means he's either lying or more powerful than he says he is.

Mr Old Bastard can't seem to help himself from holding out on you. It seems to be an odd trait most elderly folks have for some Force-forsaken reason. When the young need their wisdom the most, the ancient fools just can't help but say some nonsense in place of actual problem-solving advice. Only the Force knows how many troubles would've been solved if an old person had just outright said what they meant.

And why would you not recommend it?

Do you not understand what an unexplored Sith tomb entails? I can feel how scoured the tombs in the Valley of the Dark Lords are. The worst protections and hazards have no doubt been driven away by now.

You raise an eyebrow.

I've been in the tomb of Ajunta Pall, what could the tomb you're so ominous about do to me in comparison?

The tuk'ata trills.

Ajunta Pall was not a vengeful spirit enraged by its death. Try to kill what is already dead, and you will taste death yourself.

A hum murmurs in your throat.

Now that sounds like an actual hazard to stay far clear of.

Since your thinking of potential hazards.

Nox, is dinner ready?

Be patient, Magnus, we'll dine together soon.

You sigh.

If only you had breakfast before embarking on your mad twelve hour training session.

You don't care if you have to go Khem Val and kill death itself to get what you want. Even if you have to go scouring the desert again, the lost arts of the ancient Sith will be yours. Everything you don't know you want yet will be yours if you attain such gifts. Also, it'll help you get Nox quite literally off your ass or away from it at least.

If it will kill me, why not tell me? Perhaps it's your master's tomb.

Beyond being a place only I can lead you to, I am likely to die in it as well. I do not know where my master rests.

Groaning, you return your focus on the pillow underneath your head.

It seems you'll either have to convince him or Yang to come with you on a tomb-raiding journey that potentially ends in both your deaths.

Speaking/thinking of Yang.

If you're doing anything to Yang, I'll kill you.

I am not.

Excuse me if I can't take your word for it.

I neither expect you to or care.

You cluck your tongue and fall limp against Nox's soft sheets.

Fifteen or so minutes pass until you feel a tugging on your mind.

Rising from your lover's bed, you gather and redress into your clothes before walking out to find a dinner table set up with two chairs, your lovely mistress already on one.

"Come and enjoy, my Magnus."

You roll your eyes as you sit down on the other chair.

It's annoying how lovey dovey she is with you now, not that her previous insane behavior was better.

Quite a lot of rumors exist about Nox and the spirits of both Sith and Jedi. Thanaton reported her dead once a long time before she up and killed him. It's possible he really did kill her, only she didn't stay dead. Something either brought her back or she already had a way to cheat death. Whatever the truth is, it wouldn't hurt to ask her. Little she can do to you that she hasn't already done.

"Do you know how to fight against Sith ghosts? One is haunting a tomb presumably filled with ancient knowledge."

Nox raises a red eyebrow. "Who's the revenant and where is the tomb?"

"I... actually don't know yet." You raise a hand to rub the back of your head. "Going to confirm it; just want to know if the impossible is possible."

"It certainly is possible, just not in the way you think it is."

Leaning forward, you gaze into her Sith orange eyes. "How?"

"Get confirmation and maybe I'll tell you." Nox grins.

You sigh.

Really should've expected that. The cruel, still sexy woman has a thing for playing around with you, figuratively and literally. Maybe she would really tell you how to handle the long dead, but it's unlikely if they really are the key to her power. Like most powerful players, most of a person's power rests in their powerbase, their followers. Followers that are strangely absent despite your lover heading an entire sphere of influence.

Blinking, you raise an eyebrow of your own. "Besides Khem, don't you have other servants? I thought you had two apprentices."
>>
>(2/2)

"My dear Xalek and Ashara are away handling urgent business for me: making sure ancient knowledge is ours and all that on our core worlds. As for the help, I don't concern myself with them. Only two are really worth notice and they're exactly where I need them to be, as are the rest of them. And Khem is with me, as always."

You look around the office. "Where has Khem been as of late? Have I just been missing him?"

"Well, you spent a week roaming the desert before coming back with an army of tuk'ata and the last two days training your play mates as well as yourself. Khem has a life of his own, you know?"

"One outside of being your servant?"

"No, but he has free time."

Shaking your head, you look down at your evening meal.

A medium-sized Medium-rare steak accompanying a grilled liver and a side of various greens are all on a neat tray.

"...My favorite, but how?"

"Telepathic communication." Nox, munching down on her own meal, says. "I've seen so much bloody meat in your memories it'd be hard for me to forget."

You carve the meats into pieces and dig your teeth into some organ.

The Dark Council member purrs as you do while chomping your meat. "Who's a good, hungry boy?"

Rolling your eyes, you keep tearing away at your meal.

Half the tray is gone by the time you're done.

You wash down what remains in your throat and mouth with a crispy glass of fresh water.

It's possible for you to eat so much more, but that would probably make Nox compare you to a dog some more.

While she's likely to be even more vague than the old beast, it couldn't hurt to siphon whatever information about the blessed Emperor, long may he reign, from her jumbly skull. May as well dig your grave even deeper while you're at it: you are your father's son and might inherit his rampant sexual appetite. The Force knows Nox isn't making you any more resistant. At the very least, you can try to be romantic.

"Have you ever met the Sith Emperor? My father of course has, it being in his job description, but he never speaks of him."

The lovely mistress shakes her head. "Not in the flesh, his anyway."

You raise an eyebrow.

"Don't you know the Emperor speaks through puppets? I'm not sure if they house his soul or have heir minds broken, but Caeles defends those shells nonetheless."

"...You do realize I'm still an acolyte, right?"

"Oh, I know. You're just the son of the Emperor's Wrath with the ability of a powerful Sith Lord and a lesser Darth."

A hum rumbles in your throat as you chow down on another slice of liver.

That is pretty irregular, but your father is not prone to nepotism.

"If I ever took on another lover, would you be jealous?"

"Only if you fell in love with them. In which case, I'd have to establish my dominance."

Blinking, you tilt your head. "...How and why?"

"How do you think?" Nox giggles. "As for why, you belong to me, obviously."

You sigh.

Following through with the inevitable is going to come back to haunt you so much.

"Do you have a favorite place or planet?"

The woman raised a hand to her chin before snapping her fingers. "Alderaan."

"...A wartorn feudal shithole?"

"Filled with buuugs!" Nox squealed. "Little, big, medium, mind-subsuming buuugs!"

Your eyes widen.

That is so cute and disgusting it's wrong.

It's said that couples need counseling all the time, though your father and mother no doubt have never had one therapeutic talk in their life. Maybe one would help you two in your odd relationship or help her with her strange fascination with disgusting vermin. Hopefully she'll be gentle when she violates the sanctity of your mind for saying something like what you have in mind so brazenly.

"We are going to have to discuss our relationship sometime." You raise your glass and gulp down some water.

Nox raised an eyebrow. "What is there to discuss?"

"...Are you being serious?"

"Are you?"

Sighing, a groan churns in your throat.

You keep expecting the most unlikely things from the most unlikely people, specifically your lover, to ever commit them.

"Did you choose your preference for bugs just to further disabuse the notion of your maidenhood?"

"How eloquent of you, dear Magnus." The Darth smiles and giddies her hands like a child. "It all actually started back when I was a slave girl: I had a pet cockroach named Crack, I called him that because he squeezed out from them in the most adorable way." She frowns. "Then a wasp came one day and injected its eggs into him after stinging his subesophageal ganglion." A grin breaks out from her sad face. "I got to see how they ate their way through him with their cute little mandibles! Scrape, scrape, munch, munch!"
>>
>(2/2)

Eyes widening, you look down at your meat.

That was quite possibly the most disturbing thing you have ever heard someone describe with such glee.

"...And here I thought you'd violate my mind for bringing that up."

"Why would I? It gave me the chance to tell you a heartwarming story from my childhood. I doubt it'd be as easy as it was to turn you into my little acolyte puppy now anyway."

You hum as you look back up to your mistress. "...It's odd how much I've progressed, isn't it? I learned in a couple of days what took you years."

"Well, you do have my magnificent expertise and training method at your disposal. It's not like you're unique in advancing as fast as you have: I would've been at your level if my overseer and master actually taught me instead of trying to kill me or become one with me."

"...My father often says the same about his old master." You raise an eyebrow. "It's still strange, isn't it? I don't think I should be this powerful already."

"Some people are just born with the ability to learn within a month what took masters years to understand. When you take into account your genetics from your father's bloodline and your mother's unique force ability, your development is unsurprising. This could be Mad Jaesa's sight manifesting itself within you. I doubt you'll ever sense the true natures of those around you, but you can at least pry them from their minds."

Another hum builds in your throat before it stops.

She really just called your mother mad.

Your mother is somewhat insane, but she is absolutely batshit in comparison. While she has voiced her displeasure of your lover, not much has been said about Nox's thoughts of her. The typically vague, insane, and interesting tidbit about her tutors also needs more elaboration. Realy, almost everything she divulges about her past and herself needs a longer explanation than a casual handwave.

"Do you hate my mother? I mean, she hates you but you both have to work with each other in regards to maintaining Sith Doctrine."

"No, I pity her: she's one of the people Caeles has hurt the most, if what you told me about his whoring is true. She may hate me for hating Caeles, but she will love me once I make sure he can no longer hurt anyone else ever again. It will likely take some time though."

"She'll never forgive you if she finds out about us, which is more or less inevitable at this point."

Nox hums and shrugs. "Oh well, can't save them all, especially from themselves."

You roll your eyes.

The crazy bitch thinks she's saving people.

"Did you..." Ms Dark Council Member tilts her head. "Just have a bad thought about me that I couldn't hear? You did, didn't you?" Returning her head to an even plane, she sighs. "I'm going to regret teaching your super force-user genes self, aren't I?"

"As much as my father probably will about siring multiple of us and with different mothers of varying quality." You blink. "Oh hell, my siblings are going to tear each other apart if they're all like me."

"The bastards probably won't be. Your full-blooded siblings will likely be the predominantly threatening force of... the Force. Maybe one of them will have your mother's gift as well."

You hum. "She actually can't see my father's nature, do you know why?"

"...I'm not sure how I would, but that is intriguing."

Nodding in agreement, you chew down several pieces from your meats.

There's actually a lot you want to find out from and about your father. He knows so much but has told you so little about the Sith, the state of the Galaxy, and the history of your family beyond Faxerus familialciding his siblings and their children. Your mother likely knows more as well but keeps silent out of loyalty to your father.

While we wait for the extra votes/other stuff, I think we should talk about what to focus next. We have the tomb of Tulak hord to deal with tomorrow and to see who is left standing from the horny Tuk'ata battle royal so that's a thing but after we come back to the academy what should we put our efforts into refining?

We have Master level mind manipulation, which will take 15 more successful training sessions to reach grandmaster level. I personally think this is a good place to leave it for the moment and focus on other force powers, in particular force absorption and life draining. Life draining is basic, Force absorption is advanced and so requires 5 pips to reach expert.

To make a long ramble coherent, I think when we next start training, we should focus on absorption and life draining since it is more profitable than continuing with mind manipulation.
Or force re-enforcement if we try fucking nox, because if you have the skills, why not use them?

Should we just wait until we're off-world and go hunting down ancient ruins?

Alchemy would be fantastic to learn, as would sorcery. The problem is, It's really really hard to learn because everyone has fucked off.

Nox is a sorcerer, no doubt. I don't think she is an alchemist though and alchemy isn't so much a force power to learn as a science to study.

Despite being unlike your father, you are steadily becoming more like him as you advance in power. Nox herself pointed it out with how you seem more like him. Maybe your mother won't be able to see your true nature ever again. You also seem to change the more you get closer to your crazy lover, who can survive death if the rumors are true. There is so much you still need to find out about her.

"...I don't think she'll be able to see mine anymore too."

The Darth raises an eyebrow. "Because you seem a lot more like him now?"

You nod.

It's all too fitting and the Force loves to follow an odd narrative structure, if it's even conscious. Like, you were deathly afraid of Nox, and now you're warming her bed whenever you can. Life is one twisted bitch, unlike and like your mistress.

"I feel like you just had a negative thought about me, but I can't tell without looking into your mind."

"Well, I didn't. I have my criticisms, but it's...nice to be around you...now."

"Aww, how romantic of you." Nox rolls her orange eyes.

You blink. "...This is our first actual date together, isn't it?"

"...Huh, it actually is."

"Shouldn't we be asking questions about one another or something?"

"I already know everything about you by virtue of ravaging your mind, so you can ask all the questions."

You nod. "Did Thanaton really kill you once?"

"Uh-huh, it didn't last long."

"...How?"

"Let's call it ancient Sith sorcery and leave it at that."

"What?"

Nox narrows her eyes. "Let's. Leave. It. At. That."

Blinking again, you take a gulp from your water.

She's not going to tell you unless she wants to, and there are other things you want to ask her.

"What does being Sith mean to you?"

"Being free and doing whatever I want to do, that includes you." The Darth winks.

You groan.

While understandable, it's incredibly short-sighted. That's the kind of view that makes the young Sith put down by the old guard that got as far as they did fighting for something beyond their own sake. A lot take the Sith code too seriously or interpret its meaning in a manner most useful for them.

You convincing her of all people anything might be impossible, but it couldn't hurt you that much to try. Maybe she will change with enough time around you: it's not like her underlings give her something to think about or challenge her on things. Some tough love may be exactly what your Darth lover needs. Woman probably thinks the same thing about you.

"Don't you get bored of it, though?"

"I haven't yet, and I doubt I ever will." Your lovely mistress raises a hand to her chin. "Though it does get trying at times."

A hum murmurs in your throat.

She is just unbelievable.

"How did you get this far?"

"My wit, will, and unfathomable power. I'd count my good looks, but those were more of a trouble than a boon to me: the things a decaying Sith user would do for a soft, plump, and pretty body."

"Uh, right."

The sclera of Nox's eyes darken. "And what is that supposed to mean?"

"...Nothing, I'm just confused by what you said like I am with almost everything you divulge about yourself and the past."

"Huh." Your lover's eyes return to their usual Sith orange. "Oh well, the past doesn't matter, neither does mine."

"Please, don't be so shortsighted."

"Now that sounds like something referring to something else in a judgmental manner."

"The past does matter, it's why we're here in the first place. And your definition of what it is to be Sith only serves you."

"And?"

"And it brings everyone else down, which will turn them against you. All you've done for yourself will be destroyed in result of your own actions. You could've had it all if you had only helped anyone beyond yourself."

"...What does being a Sith mean to you, Magnus?"

You blink.

That is actually a really good question.

Telling the truth won't hurt you: Nox is far too self-concerned to care about what you might do with your views. You're not even sure what you'll do after all this business is over and done with. Whatever does happen, you're not going to flip sides over to the Republic, that's for sure. They're no better, despite the Empire's faults.

"Think I stopped being a Sith. I'm not sure how, but the Dark Side is more of a tool now than a thing to be worshiped to me."

Nox hums. "A tool to help others and yourself?"

"Yeah, something like that."

"How paradoxically selfish and selfless of you, dear Magnus."

"Can't argue with you there, my mind's been a bit of a mess since I came out of Ajunta Pall's tomb."

"I know, I practically fucked it."

"Practically?" You scoff.

"Okay, I broke it in like a rapist fucks a virgin."

Laughing, you eat some more of your meat. "That's an accurate analogy."

Nox, eating some of her own dinner, nods.

You shake your head and return to your food.

What's left of your meal disappears into your stomach after five minutes, and what's left of your water washes it down.

That was a pretty nice dinner date for your first one ever, not that you have anything to compare it to.

May as well ask some of the last questions on your mind before your dearest mistress drags you to bed and fills her womb with your semen. One of them relates to that very intimate act you have only ever done with her. The other somewhat relates to that in tha she gets excited about hurting people, especially with Force Lightning.

"I forgot to ask you what you meant by your master or overseer wanting to become one with you. Was it some sort of sorcery?"

"My master was the one who tried it, she was withering away from Dark Side corruption." Nox raises a hand to her chin. "It was a strange ritual. There's not a lot I know of Sith Sorcery, so whatever I can say about it won't be accurate."

A hum murmurs in your throat.

It's odd how not even the keeper of Ancient Knowledge knows Sith Sorcery. Either the art is too reliant on rituals to be useful on the field or the training for it takes too long to be of use in this day and age. She's really short-sighted if she's ignored learning sorcery beyond academics.

"You just had another negative thought about me didn't you? I can tell, your thought patterns are familiar to me even if I can't hear them so easily anymore."

"Do you see yourself getting married?"

Nox blinked her pretty orange eyes. "...With...you?" Bringing a hand up to her chest, your mistress burst out laughing. "Oh my, aren't you the obedient little boy! You really are a cute masochist! I should really punish and reward you more."

You sigh.

That was more or less the answer you were expecting.

"Why did you give me so much grief about the darkside rejecting me?"

"Why not? You are just so easy to tease."

Again, you sigh.

She is easy to read.

There's just a few more questions left on your mind before you doze off through the night, likely after some cuddle fucking. You're going to poke her for some fun at her expense for once first though. Depending on your answer, you may not get cuddle fucked, something you somehow like better than the deed.

A grin spreads across your face. "Ah, I see you're still holding out for my father."

Nox twitched. "No, I am not!"

"Reeeally?" You tilt your head. "Sounds like you're obsessed with him. Probably why you were so willing to fuck me: you were thinking of him the entire time."

"I was not!" Blushing, the woman turned away. "Y-Your penis is too amazing to think about that womanizing ass."

You burst into a fit of laughter as you slam your hand against the table.

This is so worth what she's going to do you as payback.

"You're not..." Nox shakes her head. "Whatever."

"Just what happened during the fight with Malgus? Did he really fend you and my father off at the same time?"

Your mistress blinks at your wise change of subject. "No, he wouldn't have lasted as long as he did if that was the case. Caeles, being Caeles, told the rest of us to assist the ground troops as he dueled Malgus one on one. When we arrived after the fighting was done, Malgus was nowhere to be seen and Caeles' armor was severely damaged. He told us he pushed him into the giant chasm that was inside his throne room for some reason."

"There was a chasm in the throne room? Why?"

"Like I said, for some reason."

You shake your head.
>>
>(2/2)

There's just something about your own kind that you can't believe some time.

"When do you think this war will end? It's been non-stop since the cold war died."

"Probably never: wars of belief linger far longer than political wars. All it takes is one surviving Jedi or one Sith to pass on their opposing beliefs for the war to begin again."

"...Wow, I did not expect that answer from you."

Nox scoffs. "I'm not an idiot. Unlike all the others, I don't see either side winning this war, especially if Revan and his ilk return again. If we do win, it will be temporary. We must either convert the Jedi and dominate their ilk or genocide them all as they once did our kind but not half-ass it."

A hum murmurs in your throat.

There is a lot of truth to what she says. Conflicts between Jedi and Sith do seem circular and without end, whether the Sith are of actual Sith descent or not. Revan and the Dark Jedi, the remnants of those Jedi when the self-proclaimed Dark Lord went off to usurp your Emperor, and the current split in dogma caused by the Jedi reconstitution all are arguments in that favor. That's not even factoring all the cults that sprung up from deserters, some of which were reconstitution Jedi council members.

"I'm going to go to bed, are you coming?"

"That's my line."

"Are you?" You stand from your chair.

The woman rolls her eyes as she follows your lead. "No sex for you tonight."

"That's fine, my mind needs a break."

The two of you make your way to bed, strip, and fall asleep beside one another.

You open your eyes to Nox's chamber room ceiling, feeling her still by your side.

An actual quiet night for once, with the exception of a lot of other people's thoughts.

It's been hours since you gave your order for the alpha tuk'ata males to duke out against one another for the honor of mating with your mighty bitch. Either there's a couple of them that are truly absolute beasts still going at it or it's finished. You, being a logical being, believe the latter has happened over the former. While you're at it, you may as well wake up your sleepy lovey dovey for laughs.

Alright, who's the tuk'ata still standing?

I am.

You raise an eyebrow.

And who be you?

Red Fang, alpha old blood.

A hum chimes in your throat as you close your eyes.

The tuk'ata you were somewhat hoping to see win is still alive, albeit glum as all fuck.

Congratulations, you get to rut the Mighty Queen. For now, everyone still alive come back to the academy and await my orders.

As you command, alpha old blood.

You switch your focus from your lovely pets to your lovely lovely.

Nox, wake up. You have work to do.

"Shut up... responsible thoughts."

No, get up this instant and do your job, woman.

"Why is it always a man's voice?"

Because all the women in my life, especially you, are irresponsible.

"Magnuuus, get out of my head."

You pet the Darth. "Okay."

"Much better." She moves her body against your bare side.

A laugh escapes your lips.

You can get used to this.

OP I've been wondering, is this setting the result of an older quest or some other piece of fanfiction?
>>
>>4248624
The setting is result of a fanfic I had in mind to make but never happened.

The plot would've been about the Sith Warrior's son going through the trials, befriending someone like Yang, killing him, losing his faith, and running away to Hutta after getting their lightsaber.

From then on, wacky mercenary adventures would take place with Proto-Magnus slowly building a crew, encountering Nox having given birth to his new half-sister, being hunted on Tatooine by Jedi and Sith alike, and getting involved in a less retarded Revan return.

>[X] Get Khem and go to Tulak Hord's tomb, bring some training sabers.

Only one person you kind of know can help you advance in your martial abilities. He should be back by now and waiting for his master to enter her office. You're not sure Nox would appreciate her faithful servant being absent, but you can repay her later. Who knows, maybe you'll get to bond with Khem, becoming a lovable duo too lovable to punish.

You slip out of bed and get dressed.

The titan of an alien is standing guard outside your lovers chamber's as you exit them. "What is master's concubine doing not warming her bed?"

"I'm off to your old master's tomb. There's something I'm hoping to find there, and I was hoping you, being the ever loyal servant, would help me avoid your master's wrath if my presence ends up offending him."

"If my master appeared and took offense to you, I would sacrifice you in his name."

"...Well, that's a chance I'm still willing to take." You sigh. "Care to lead the way?"

Nodding, the Dashade began walking forward.

The two of you make your way through the academy, stop along the way to grab some training sabers, walk along the eastern path to the tomb of Tulak Hord, and go past several unnerved academy sentinels into the tomb itself.

A chill runs down your spine as you feel the Dark Side energy wash over you.

It's stronger than it was in the tomb of Ajunta Pall somehow. Just goes to show on what a complete different level Tulak Hord was on compared to the Sith that came before him. Even after, not even your father's feats could compare to his.

"Steel yourself, my master's concubine. You breathe in death within this holy place."

You nod.

That's already painfully plain to feel, much less see.

>[X] "What was your old master like in the flesh, Khem?"
>[X] "You know this tomb well don't you Khem? Any suggestions upon finding your old masters spirit, or perhaps some writings of his?"

Never hurts to pester someone with enough questions to make them want to kill you. Of course, they could try, but that would be admitting defeat to you in a way. It's not like Khem can risk angering his current master by gutting her new favorite boytoy. He would do it if Tulak Hord said so though, which is somewhat worrying.

"What was your old master like in the flesh, Khem?"

The beast of a sentient looked around the etched walls of the tomb. "Powerful, honorable, and diligent."

"...Anything else besides that?"

"Tulak Hord was a living god of war."

You resist the urge to roll your eyes. "I mean, besides all of the ripping and tearing of Jedi and in general."

"Not worth mentioning."

A sigh escapes your lips.

Like with most the questions you ask Nox, you're not sure what you're expecting. They're dead set on being as vague and as annoying as possible. It's either their way of torturing you or avoiding the spill of private information or both. Through some sort of madness, you suspect it to be both: they're just that insane yet clever enough to be a pain.

"You know this tomb well don't you Khem? Any suggestions upon finding your old masters spirit, or perhaps some writings of his?"

"Dark energy lingers here, not his spirit. Don't know where he rests, but I will find him one day. As for writings, you will find them in the shyrack-ridden chambers in the upper tomb. I believe my master already has the information on them illustrated. It is unliekly you'll find anything new here"

Clucking your tongue, you look to the exit.

It doesn't seem like you'll find anything here if what he says is true. Maybe he hasn't tried hard enough in either case though: doesn't seem the type to want to disturb his master or find ancient texts. Nox could probably provide some assistance in channeling the old blademaster's spirit. Someone else might actually know where it is.

Dashades, being the personal assassins to many Sith due to their force-resistant qualities, were often highly trained in melee combat. No doubt a lot of them knew the lightsaber forms better than most Sith. If there's anyone that can probably help you advance in Juyo or another form, it's this big guy.

"Did he teach you how to fight, perchance?"

"Of course, I was one of the greatest servants of Tulak Hord."

You tilt your head. "So you know some lightsaber forms?"

"I have mastered Shien, Shii-Cho, and Soresu. I am adept in Juyo, Ataru, Niman, and Makashi"

A hum chimes in your throat.

He's not on your father's level, but he's sure as hell getting there. You could test out those abilities right now, in fact. While you would love a thrashing you haven't felt in weeks, now is not exactly the time though: there are mystical texts you need to find with the assistance of the Force or that old Sith that appeared when you last tried that.

"Khem, stand still and keep guard: I need to meditate for a second. Don't kill me if I get possessed, no matter what happens."

"I will try not to."

You roll your eyes, sit down on the sandy ground, and close the sight of the world from your beautiful gray eyeballs.

The seemingly limitless Dark Side energy permeating the tomb becomes far more noticeable, barely intertwining with a familiar faint blue.

Half a minute passes until you feel the presence again.

Have you come to seek guidance or assassinate me? I must warn you, this Force Eater will not be enough.

You bow your head.

I've come for no such thing and would never consider it. Please, forgive me.

A hearty laugh thrums through your mind.

Relax, blood of my blood. It was merely a jest; I am not Faxerus.

"Old spirit here." Khem growled the closest sound he could make to a hum. "Reminds me of my master."

Ah, a beast of Tulak Hord. A shame, the way he died. I suppose he thought he could make a true man out of Cela.

What?

Nevermind. What you seek is in the ground where the slaves toil. I know you can raise it. Farewell, blood of my blood.

You rise and blink as the phantom fades away.

Well, you've always wanted to pull off a telekinesis trick on a whole different level.

There's no point in turning back now that you've made your way here and got the information you needed. A little more wouldn't hurt or help you at all in this case. Sith history is filled with contradictions all warped by the person writing it. Khem could help you learn some slivers of truth from it, at least from Hord's age.

You look deeper into the tomb and start walking, waving for Khem to follow along. "Come to think of it, how did Tulak Hord die?"

"Betrayal." Mr. Eats Force-Users snarls. "His apprentice stabbed him in the back and the cowardly dashade that was his pet devoured his essence."

"Your kind can do that?"

"We can feed off both flesh and force energy from a force user."

You blink. "...That is actually rather terrifying when you think of the applications."

"Indeed."

"Do you know who Cela is?"

The surroundings shake as Khem outright growls. "The name of my master's traitorous apprentice."

You hum as you arrive at the tomb's sandy crossroads of sort.

It's still a massive structure but so much of it has been buried in sand over the centuries your people have been gone. Maybe if there weren't still other tombs to excavate and discover they would have been able to dig up this one. Perhaps it's a stroke of good fortune your path has led you here.

Since you're about to commence an act worthy of song, you may as well get in a question or two before you do so. It's the least you can get from this treasure trove of ancient knowledge. You have to wonder if Nox asked him to death when she first got him in her possession: it's what you would've done and more or less are going to do.

You turn to your new Dashade companion. "Who was the Dashade that devoured Tulak Hord's essence?"

"Veshikk Urk, a once honorable Dashade reduced to a monster by his cowardly master."

"Come to think of it, are there any Dashade assassins left unclaimed other than you?"

The giant alien shakes his head. "Not to my knowledge. Veshikk Urk remained, and I killed him with my new venerable master's help."

Humming, you turn your attention back to the seemingly endless dune of sand plaguing the tomb crossroads.

He of all people said you could do it, so you can. Even if you have to rely on potency and probably drain yourself doing it, you know you can do it. Hell, it might even kill you, but you know you can do it, so that doesn't matter.

You close your eyes and concentrate on the sands below your feet.
>>
>(2/2)

Countless grains of crushed rocks and minerals stack high above the once grand mausoleum. If it were so easily possible to lift, it would've been swept away a long time ago. A dozen other powerful Sith could've done it, but they were likely as short-sighted and disinterested as Nox in the history of your people. While seemingly infinite, these piles of sand are nothing compared to the power of the Force, the power of your will.

The sand gives way under your feet as it's lifted into the air.

Small yells, gasps, and grunts permeate the shifting crossroad, the slaves and officers losing their balance and their composure at the miracle they are witnessing.

After five minutes of straight sand lifting, your feet touch stone untouched for centuries.

You take a deep breath, press the trillion grains of sand into a massive ball you move over your held up hands, alchemize a few billion into water, alchemize some of those billion into calcite, and crush the sand into a one hell of a boulder before placing it in an area some ways away from the new openings in the tomb you created.

>Telekinesis Experience Gained: 0/10 -> 2/10

"Master's concubine is powerful and full of promise."

>[X] "Please don't name that boulder after me or mine, that would be too cliche!"

You're on the verge of falling unconscious, so you may as well voice your wishes before all of them go and excavate the areas before you can. Anything named after anyone is always confusing and somewhat stupid, especially when it's an entire world. If that bolder was yours, you would've kept it too.

"I did this for history and for the knowledge within! Remember that, please!"

Silence filled the crossroad of the tomb.

"Okay!"

You nod and hum in appreciation. "Please don't name that boulder after me or mine, that would be too cliche!"

Again, silence falls over your surroundings.

"Alright! I don't think any of us thought about that though! What's with all the yelling?!"

Raising your upperbody, you raise an eyebrow at the confused crowd of slaves staring at you.

They are slaves, you really shouldn't expect much.

"How else would all of you hear me?!"

"I don't know, man, you're just a bit loud is all!"

You roll your now tired eyes.

This is what you get for talking to slaves.

I'm not sure. But the force ghost said that this is what we were after and what we were after is Tulak Hord's skill with Juyo. So I'm reasonably certain that invoking his name will make Khem obey without many questions
>>
>>4252293
Well we asked him for places that were undisturbed by the passing of time, so whatever we unearthed will have been sealed since the last true user.
We never asked him to lead us to his Juyo techniques.

While you are completely correct, we are also tired and you don't want to be tired when exploring a new and untouched part of the tombs. That's how you get the big dead.

I doubt Khem is that retarded or petty. "Protect the tomb" translates as "Don't let any bastard scavenge it before we can". I'm fairly certain that us using his masters shit and leafing through any artifacts we find will be completely fine.
It's only going to be a danger if we start shit talking tulak hord, which given our reverence for the greats is unlikely.

While you could rest now and explore while you're most prepared, another Sith might swoop in and take the information you're seeking first. You can recover from the fatigue caused by that amazing feat you just pulled with some meditation. Khem can hold back everyone else in the meantime.

You cross your legs. "Khem, Keep guard and don't let anyone dishonor your masters resting place."

"As you will it, my master's concubine."

Taking a deep breath, you enter a meditative trance.

You feel seconds and minutes pass until time fades away as it always does.

What you can tell to be about an hour and half passes by until you're back in a serviceable condition.

"You have awoken. Shall we explore my old master's tomb?"

"That's the plan." You stand up and walk over to Khem. "Judging by the lack of blood on the stone, no one tried to pull a fast one?"

"A few sentinels approached, but I told them of your will and they respected it."

"Nice, thanks for keeping guard and not leaving me sitting on the ground, like an idiot, while everyone else dove in."

"You're welcome, my master's concubine."

You twitch. "My name is Magnus, Khem."

"Indeed, and it is irrelevant compared to your position."

A sigh escapes your lips before you look at the new three pathways that truly led up to the three sections of the tomb.

There's a lot to scour here and probably not enough time for you to clear all of them. You might have to rely on Nox's authority or get some help if you want a slice of whatever comes out this excavation. It is yours but that hardly matters to a lot of the people with interest in things like this.

>[X] "Stick close, Khem. I'm still not back to maximum fighting condition."

Best inform your lovely love before she finds out for herself and punishes you for not telling her. Since the other two pathways are pretty obvious in where they lead, the one to the entrance can only be the path to one thing. Taking Khem along will assure him you did nothing to dishonor his old master when you reach what awaits you.

Nox, I found something nobody has touched yet, hope you like it.

The vivacious presence of your mistress washes over your mind.

Depends if what's in it is worth anything to me. You get to examine everything first, but they belong to me. Of course, you can look at them anytime, my sweet Magnus. Take care and make sure to drag your possibly half-dead carcass over here before you expire.

You twitch and sigh.

She was probably going to do that anyway, but you still would've liked to feel like everything in these new areas belonged to you. It would've given you some control over your life in this current sex slave phase of it. Really, you would have gladly suffered the agony of being tortured by Nox's lightning again. You're totally not a becoming a masochist.

With a shake of your head, you begin walking down the hall.

"Stick close, Khem. I'm still not back to maximum fighting condition."

"I will guard you with my life, my master's concubine."

The two of you make your way down the etched hall, stat walking down some stairs, and stop as you see the tomb open up to a burial chamber with numerous statues and a single sarcophagus.

"...Huh, I was right."

Khem advances past you. "After a thousand years, I have found my way back to you, my most honorable master."

"There might be traps!" You run down the stairs after the steady giant.

"Irrelevant, I must see him again, if only for one last time."

You follow Khem through the large chamber and up the dozens of steps to the resting place of what can only be one man.

"I would have slayed death itself for you." The force-eating alien besides you rests a hand atop the corpse chamber's lid. "I would gladly do so now, but I do not know if there is anything of you left to save."

Blinking, you look up to the big alien at your side.

This is actually sad.

See, I'm thinking that he is still here since the other force ghost upstairs said what we wanted was down here.
I'm hoping that it means the ghost is still around here, even if weakened. And I am hoping 'great Tulak' will make our question seem less like a slight.

On the other hand, I think Khem may warm up to us for finding this place. Maybe.

Ironically, Nox's own beginning is similar to yours. Not nearly in her favor that much but the storyline has the Sith Inquisitor do a lot of shit in the prologue.

>[X] "Wait a minute Khem, your Dashade rival may have eaten part of his essence but let me see if I can feel him."
>[X] Even now, do you leave your most faithful surviving servant in silence?

Letting this not-so-gentle giant suffer is just wrong. Even if you're just being a hopeful idiot reaching out to an ancient powerful spirit with no previous experience doing such things, it's worth a try. You can deal with whatever side-effects may come from doing such a foolish thing.

"Wait a minute Khem, your Dashade rival may have eaten part of his essence but let me see if I can feel him."

Khem shakes his head. "It's of no use. My master passed from this plane a long time ago."

"We'll see about that." You close your eyes.

The world around you disappears, leaving you only with the Force.

Even now, do you leave your most faithful surviving servant in silence?

You feel bile rise to your throat as s͚͍͙̱̫͚o̸̠̼̗̫m̜͚͟ẹ͉͚͓̳t̸̘h̭̗̬̳̫̮̮͘i̘̘̘̙͉ͅn̖͍̹̝͔ͅg̖ appears in the vortex of energy around your being.

An image of a t̼̻̥̟̝h̤̣̺̬̱͚͍i̱̥͉͡n̩͙̫͇͙͎g̶̙ that should not be burns itself into your mind.

When you open your eyes, dark red is all you can see.

"My master's concubine, what has happened to you?"

You take breath after breath until it's pretty clear that you're hyperventilating.

W̷̺̳h̵̫̫̙̞̯͎̫a͙̼͟t̢ ̴͖i̮͞s̵̤̺ ̱t̗̠̥͔ḩ̦̜̬͓̺̗a̯̙̥͔t̖̱,̴̞ ̛͙̗wͅh̩͎͈̼a͖̙t̛ ̡͉͓̻̞i̱͇̺̠̫s̤̤̰̪͙̟̩ ̦́t͖̯̖̪̫h͇͕̯̻̯̥̩a̖͓̫̣t̶̮̗̖̻̘̮,̧̖̳̬̩̬͉̝ ̴͙̝̬̗w̛̬̪h̷͈̤͎͈̮̪a̜̼͈t̻̥̰͎̺͔͠ ̻̳̻͈͕ͅi̢s̢͈͓̭̥̦̞ t͢h̫͍͉̩͕̣̻a̝̩̪t̨͖̝͙̜̱̰͕,̖͚͚ ͚̯̥͇͎w͢h̳̗̥͚͡a͎͓̭t̵̝͎͓ ̬̹̫i̜̕s̟͉ ̘̗̤̞̭ͅͅt̫͇̟̥̬͙̣h̫͖̠aṱ͎,̘̘̜͚̙̪͝ ̪͓̤̮w̴̦h̶͉̪̖͎̦a̯̳̯͘ͅt̹̖̜̠͟ͅ ̥͎i̢s͚̺̟͇̤͟ͅͅ ̶̪̟̬͇t̝̭̘̟̻h̫͎at̡?͕

An ethereal hand plants itself on your shoulder, banishing your woes.

Perhaps when you are ready, you'll assist us. For now, better yourself and relax. It is under control.

You still and wipe the blood seeping out your eyes.

A big part of you knows to trust in him, but you really don't want whatever the hell that thing is to exist any longer than it needs to be, even though you're sure you can't do anything about it.

>[X] "...Your master's doing an important task. Not alone, it seems."

He deserves to know the truth, but he doesn't deserve the suffering of knowing such t̟̟h̴͕i͕͉̜̮̪ng̰̺̼͚̠̱̭s̨̺͕̯͙̙̥̝ exist. That will have to wait for another time, likely far beyond Korriban and this stage of your life. You'll have to be far more powerful than you are now to help. Tulak's resting place may have something that could help you with that.

"...Your master's doing an important task. Not alone, it seems."

"I have little reason to trust your words, but your current state is proof enough."

A laugh escapes your lips.

You don't know why you're laughing. There's just something about this you find touching for some odd reason. Maybe Nox is right: you really are some sort of masochist. Would explain why you feel so calm even though your brain has more or less imploded itself.

"Open the sarcophagus, it must have something inside."

The beast nods before moving the sarcophagus lid, revealing shining red light. "You were buried in your armor as you wished. Good."

"Holy shit, that's a holocron." You move to grab the artifact of knowledge beside Hords corpse but stop as you remember where you are.

Numerous different traps could be sprung the moment you lift that thing. It's invaluable but also potentially a death sentence, especially if it turns out to be Hord's. Every Sith interested in lightsaber combat is going to be coming for it. Hell, any Sith wanting recognition will try and snatch it from you. Bringing it back to the academy would raise a bunch of issues.

A hum chimes in your throat.

There could be some ways around all that though.

>[ ] "...Seriously, I was barely on the level of a proficient enough Sith lord several weeks ago. Now, I'm unearthing Tulak Hord's Force-damned tomb."

>>

We can get Nox's people in here afterward. This is too big to let anybody else get the first crack at it.
>>
>>4254340
I suppose I will also add this option to my vote >>4254338 since we should see if it actually works.

Actually getting back to the academy is either gonna be easy, or it's gonna be a "Duel across the sands" to reach nox's chambers and thus safety
>>
>>4254344
WAIT SHIT NO NO NO NO.
Don't activate the holocron. It's not just the resting places of tombs that were trapped, it's holocron's themselves. Curses and traps of "murder your fucking asses" were placed on holocrons.

Lets figure out what traps there are likely to be first, then try and move it back to nox who can tell us how to open it without dying or going more insane.
>>
>>4254347
I do not trust Nox to even let us have access to the holocron after we inform her of it's existence. Yes I'm inviting QM to fuck our asses with booby traps but it's weighed against the possibility of us moving too slow and possibly losing it for a very long time if not forever.
>>
>>4254349
She won't let us keep it, that's for certain. Letting us see and use it? Much more likely, even if you don't trust the word of an insane space witch.
Khem is also going to tell her of our find anyway.....Hmm

All the same, don't activate the Holocron yet. And let's ask Khem.

>Since you can eat the force, can you also eat curses?
>>

>[X] "Khem, what kind of traps would a tomb for your master hold?"

Since he's the expert, you obviously have to differ to him as to go about this fantastic find. You're not going to take it just yet because you don't want to die so young, but it's still helpful. Both of you will be able to walk through it with Nox if she arrives any minute now or eventually.

"Khem, what kind of traps would a tomb for your master hold?"

"Alchemical beasts, alchemical statues like the ones filling this chamber, and emissions from the permeating dark side energies.."

You blink. "...Wow, that holocron is really a death trap."

"Indeed."

"Since you can technically eat the force, can you also consume any force related traps?"

"To some degree." The Dashade nods. "Like any other absorption of the Force, I can only take in so much. My resistance often defends against fatal levels of Force attacks."

"I'm guessing that doesn't extend to me." You grimace.

Khem tilts his head. "Why would it?"

"Exactly."

The beast shoots you a look as you sigh.

A born killer like that Force-eating assassin wouldn't understand what it's like to be a bipedal sentient that has the Force out for it.

>[ ] "...Seriously, I was barely on the level of a proficient enough Sith lord several weeks ago. Now, I'm unearthing Tulak Hord's Force-damned tomb."

>>
>>4254518
Well, the first thought to my mind was to have him spring the trap to eat it. So have Khem pick up the holocron and thus cause any backlash to be consumed.

I don't think he can actually open a holocron being mute to the force Which on reflection makes his adeptness in Niman rather surprising.

Otherwise, Once he picks it up and the traps are disabled he can hand it over to us, we can call in Nox's cronies and go to a nice quiet place in the desert to open the holocron in safety. Well, as safe as can be when opening a boobie trapped magic book with an AI of a darklord within it.
>>
>>4254573
Khem isn't mute to the force, he's just resistant to it.
>>
>>4254579
Can he use the force? that is the real question
>>
>>4254594
yeah
>>
>>4254603
In that case, he can open the holocron as well, no problems.
>>
>>4254617
But he did just say he had a limit to what he can absorb, and this holocron is probably very heavily guarded.
Taking it and opening it later could just ensure we're alone when we get cursed by whatever is inside.
I think we should just let Nox know we found it and ask her for help, Khem is going to tell her our find anyway, and even if we go into the desert she's liable to find us when she wants to go look for us.
>>
>>4254693
Mmm while objectively yes handing it off to Nox is the most logical course of action, from a character perspective we want something of our own from all of this.

The right to crack open a holocron for the first time in living memory is one such thing that can't be taken away from us, even if we do have to hand over the holocron.
And anyway, moving the holocron probably won't kill Khem and either blasts him with force power which he can eat and hopefully survive, or it activates the guardians of the tomb, in which case we get to test out lightsaber combat properly. Win Win.

As for opening the holocron in the desert.....ehh, I'm iffy on it but the tomb plan I do think is the best outcome for us.
>>
>>4254707
But weren't Dashades plentiful back when. Tulak Hord was alive?
I don't think he would fail to put up proper precautions against them, especially when he was killed by one.
>>
>>4254719
I don't know about "Plentiful" but I am also fairly certain that if we tell Khem to pick up the holocron and he doesn't say "No way am I doing that, it's a death sentence" then we can be reasonably sure it's fine.
So long as we don't open it, we have the option of either springing a trap of automitons/academical creations or that doesn't happen.
If that doesn't happen then we know that the holocron itself is cursed.

Wait a minute. Why don't we back up reaaaaaly fucking far, then pick the holocron up with the force? Like.... stand by the door and summon it too us?
>>
>>4254741
If what Khem said is right, won't all the statues in the room come to life if the holocron is moved?
They, in addition to the beasts that would appear, could disrupt the flight path or destroy the holocron as it makes its way toward us right?
>>
>>4254749
What khem said is that statues, beasts and blasts of the darkside are the most likely traps, probably all three.

As for disrupting the flight path? It's a possibility but I don't think it is very likely. The holocron would be moving faster than the beings could get in the way, barring they drop from the roof directly in front of our hands.

As for destroying a holocron? I sincerely doubt it, the lore isn't very specific in what it would take to break one but they vary between indestructible and light saber immune.
>>
>>4254769
Ok, but Khem said statues like the ones filling the room.
To me that signals that they would probably come to life when the holocron is touched.
In addition to that, why would only the burial chamber be booby-trapped? Statues along the exit walkway and other alchemical beasts may appear when it's moved, in addition to the blasts of the force that would be trying to kill us.
I think its too big a risk, especially when Nox already claimed the entire find as hers, and said we could examine everything first, and look at whatever we wanted anytime.
Seems to me it would only cause unnecessary troubles if we tried extracting it with just Khem.
>>
>>4254784
The burial chamber is almost certainly not the only thing boobie trapped. But it most likely is the only trapped area which will trigger.
Why would you deploy the traps in the rooms under the temple if only the burial chamber at the top has been broken into already?

As for causing trouble, this is almost entirely because A] magnus isn't a perfectly logical being and I'm basing this choice off of
>"but you still would've liked to feel like everything in these new areas belonged to you. It would've given you some control over your life in this current sex slave phase of it. Really, you would have gladly suffered the agony of being tortured by Nox's lightning again. You're totally not a becoming a masochist".
B] I want to see form 7 in action.
>>
>>4254799
Well I was more thinking that if you wanted to stop someone from leaving the tomb, you'd place heavy fortifications on the way out, rather than drag the traps from lower levels higher-up. There's also the likely possibility of the traps ruining the newly-unearthed tomb, diminishing the accomplishment.

Hmmm... so you want Magnus to get hunted down and punished by Nox? There's no way Khem won't tell her we found his master's holocron, and since she'd probably be very interested in it she'd go looking for him and probably find him asap.
We'll probably get an opportunity to use our Juyo on something even if we ask Nox for help retrieving it too, since there's probably many automatons guarding this place.
>>
>>4254831
I never said anything about stealing and keeping the Holocron, which would undoubtedly get us hunted down and punished as you say.
What I said was taking the holocron out to the desert where we won't be observed, opening it and getting a few hours practice or even just checking what it contains before returning it to Nox.

As far as I can see it, so long as we get back at some point before nightfall, the amount of fucks she gives about indiscretions will remain resoundingly at zero. What's the difference between taking 2 hours to get it back and 6? she already gave us permission to view "her" possessions anytime we want.

But in the interest of getting the quest moving again, as much fun as having this discussion has been, I will conceed to DMing Nox about the issue, then we can probably just bum around another of the passageways
>>
>>4254845
As an aside, I am gonna look forward to opening that holocron with Khem. The custodian of the holocron will hopefully give him some closure.
>>

She is in charge of the sphere of ancient knowledge. In charge of guarding and researching old knowledge as well as utalising or storing ancient relics.

The part of Nox which got her into leadership is actually her impressive capacity for violence and the power of the force, slaying the former head of the pyramid when he under-estimated her capacity to adapt, survive and overcome. Not to mention the ghosts she absorbed.
>>
>[X] Hey Nox, we found the holocron of Tulak Hord under the tomb entrance. Haven't looked elsewhere and don't want to touch anything because of traps. Do you want to come disarm it, or how do we do that?

You can't progress without involving your dear mistress with this illustrious find she can hold for you and herself but mostly her. Maybe if you please her well enough she'll let you have a shot at the ancient knowledge. There's just so much you can learn from all this she wouldn't be interested in.

Hey Nox, we found the holocron of Tulak Hord under the tomb entrance. Haven't looked elsewhere and don't want to touch anything because of traps. Do you want to come disarm it, or how do we do that?

A familiar presence enters the sanctity of your mind.

Oh you cute idiot, there are statues there, right?

You blink.

How do you know that?"

I've been to my share of old untouched Sith tombs and experienced them for myself. Also, I can easily read your mind when you call me into it.

A hum chimes in your throat.

Well, that's good to know. What are the statues though?

Alchemical training dummies or alchemically altered people into stiff guards. You adorable idiot, you're so cute and stupid. Did you expect lightning to shoot out of the holocron? The life to fade from you for no discernible reason at its touch? This isn't some horrible movie about delving into alien royal ruins. If you take it, those statues are likely to come to life. That's it. No lightning, no life drain, and no instant death.

You twitch.

That is both disappointing and aggravating when you factor how much thought you put into this.

In all honesty, I expect my earlier plan of going to the door and taking it with telekinesis is the best plan. Khem being a master of form 3 means he can hold the door indefinitely while going all out is likely to kill shit anyway.

And judging from the tomb picture, there are 6 groupings of dummies 5 deep each. Assuming 5 wide, that's 25 per grouping and 150 dummies total, if the pic is accurate.

If anyone knows how to handle Sith alchemy statue people, it's the man form the era they were most likely made in. Hopefully he can take down more than a few if you end up triggering them with your vandalism. That mastery of Shien could very well get you through this ordeal. Khem may be grievously wounded however.

"Khem, how many statues can you take?"

"All of them if I must."

You raise an eyebrow at the alien. "Do you say that out of confidence in actually knowing you can do that or are you just playing yourself up?"

"I can take your head off right now if you wish for me to demonstrate."

"No, no I do not. I also imagine your master not wanting you to do that either."

Her presence soothes your mind again.

Oh, he knows, my overly paranoid Magnus.

You twitch as she laughs at your expense.

Were you expecting the tomb to start collapsing after you took the holocron too?

A grunt churns in your throat.

Yes actually, I did expect that because this is Tulak fucking Hord, Master of Sith sorcery, alchemy and martial combat. Forgive me for expecting him to be able to kill anyone even countless centuries into the future, thank you very much.

Oh, you are just a treat.

>[X] "Alright, let's vandalize some ancient living artwork."

This is very likely to backfire on to you, but this is the only thing you can come up with. Letting an army of alchemical statues roam free in the tomb may protect your find but it will cause destruction if they advance past it. Best you take care of the ancient homunculi now rather than later.

"Alright, let's vandalize some ancient living artwork."

Khem grasps the giant vibroblade strapped to his back. "So we shall."

Grabbing hold of your own training sabers, you head the walk back down the long flight of stairs.

The statues of odd stone emit no power, but you know better than to trust your first perceptions.

You tighten your grip on your practice sabers' hilts before cringing as flesh-like stone squelching fill the air.

Nox's most faithful servant doesn't stop, cleaving through dormant living statue after statue.

Shaking your head, you slam the tip against the one nearest to you with reinforcement, caving in its living rock brain.

The next five minutes of alchemical statue smashing pass by with no interruption until a half dozen jump out of their own stony outer-skin.

You cluck your tongue and take several hops back.

Khem growls some ways behind your back.

Both of you will have to be careful when moving to support the other. There is a good chance you two can escape without getting hurt if you run for it, but that opens up another can of worms. Whole Khem may fair better against these things, you have no prior experience. Good thing combat experience is universal in hostile encounters.

Only one force attack can be made a round. You can simultaneously reinforce yourself to strengthen your melee blows but you can't channel more force energy through your emotions. Force absorption is an automatic action.

>Telekinesis (Needs specification)
>Emotional Channeling
>Force Reinforcement

>Ataru Opening Strike (Can only be picked once and in this round)
>Shii-Cho Sweeping Slash
>Force Reinforcement

Ataru into Shii-cho while being reinforced sounds like a solid battle plan to me.
