Already, the nations of Tarnia have begun jockeying for power and influence. Some seek dominance through military strength, while others rely on their silver tongues to curry favor and gain power. Still others have chosen the path of culture, developing their entertainment and media complexes to new and greater heights. But as clouds begin to gather on the horizon, can these nations weather the coming storm?

Welcome to Modern NRP! Build your nation, carve out a unique niche, and tell your own story. New players and spectators welcome. To join, simply make a post below using the provided starting template.

>The Graenian Federation
The Great Race may be over, but there’s still a shred of nationalist fire that is kindled in the hearts of every Graenian as they watch the first rockets lift off from Aspiration Spaceport. The largest dedicated space facility on the continent, built by the Federation! One cannot help but be elated. Though some of that enthusiasm dies down as civilians realize that the majority of launches are for military purposes.
The new reactor eases the load on the nation's strained power grid. As electricity grows cheaper, many middle class families begin watching Jungie television broadcasts and purchasing Setlovian video games to play in their free time.

>Eisenkrone-Helderezee Empire
While both the Draak and Raeder Corps acquit themselves marvelously in the fighting, the real star of the northern campaign proves to be the Panzer Type Cs. Their lightweight aluminum construction and souped up engine allow them to easily navigate the hilly terrain of the north and outflank the comparatively sluggish Vaalie. Within the first weeks of the campaign, the invaders are driven back past their original borders and appear to be on the verge of a total rout. But even as Raedler champs at the bit, eager to roll her tanks all the way to the capital, popular support for the war is rapidly eroding. The citizens of the Empire are sick of a constant war footing. They see the smoke columns of the Graenian rocket launches and hear the commercials on TV for Setlovian video games. They watch the Thousand Flowers Initiative of the Ingashe and they ask themselves: what has the Empire done for us to be proud of? What distinguishes us from any other nation of Katzarin?
>Your people demand a national identity!

Kabal of Gehenna
As promised, the port of Siderio is mostly intact, having been spared the intense warfare that shattered the city state. After opening a few hell-portals and cleaning a few unsightly burn marks, the port is more fit for whatever the Kabal desires to use it for. The first ships begin to take shape in the dockworks, but as they do the builders ask the Kabal an important question: should they follow the traditional shipbuilding methods of the demons, designed to strike fear into mortal souls? Or would it be better to ape the standard designs used by most of the navies of the continent?
The Tropiosi share with the Kabal their technology of Maximum Power. Through long, hard hours of working with a specific weapon or machine, the Tropians discovered how to push each one to their absolute limits. Whether “juicing” a warships nuclear reactor to outflank their quarry or overloading tank cannons for that extra ounce of penetration, Tropians are experts at getting the best out of what they’ve got.
>>
>Colony Diplo
“No, you misunderstand. Traders there are many. But trade? That is few. Bring us things we can trade, something which can only be found here. Then we will share with you some of our secrets.”
>Sandrat Diplo
The construction of the powerplant proves to be the final straws which breaks the natural suspicion of the Sandrat traders. Large numbers of Sandrats convert en masse to the hybrid religion, some out of genuine faith and others for the economic benefits it brings.
>Tropios Diplo
The Tropians are tickled by the idea. What better way to consign their mortal enemies to the annals of history than to build over and erase every trace of their existence?

Ingashe
The Othardese and Yungsan chains of command are folded into the larger Ingashe structure with few difficulties. In order to limit the weakness of any single unit, the Ingashe command sees fit to adopt a policy of corseting. Highly disciplined and well-equipped Ingashe soldiers are added to weaker units in order to bring each one up to acceptable fighting quality. While these units are still not quite as experienced or disciplined as frontline soldiers, they are more than sufficient for national defense purposes.
CyberAm continues to be refined and tuned. A particularly innovative young scientist comes up with the idea of interfacing individual store inventory management systems directly to the broader mainframe. By cutting out the middleman, both the data and CyberAm’s predictions improve significantly in quality and timeliness.

>Dvesilians
The final touch required for the completion of the manasap-electricity interconversion is discovered not by the Tawarians but the Dvesalians. A carefully homogenized mixture of synthetic oil and dilute manasap is the key. Finally, mana and electricity are fully interconvertible.
A Dvesalian exploring the newly settled territories discovers gold flakes in the river. Further to the north , laterite deposits are reported by hobbyist mountaineers.
The expedition into the ziggurat is more successful than that of the Tawarians, with the Dvesalians managing to access the inside of the ziggurat through one of the open doorways. The inside of the ziggurat proves to be pitch black, but the Dvesalian’s vision quickly adjusts to the conditions, until the inky darkness may as well be broad daylight to them. The ziggurat seems significantly larger on the inside than it is outside, full of winding hallways and twisty tunnels. The walls are covered in runes, some carved deeply into the rock, others frantically scribbled with dark red pigment. The explorers' newly sharpening senses catch the smell of old blood. At times, the hallways narrow to only a few inches and the explorers must wedge themselves sideways through the gap, using their elongated, prehensile fingers to feel if the path is safe ahead. And so the party travels, deeper and deeper....

Tawar Federation
The Tawarian bureaucrats shake off an uneasy feeling of wrongness as he signs the papers permitting the miniature hellfire powerplant to be built. But it seems his fears were for naught, as the plant quickly begins to produce flame-enchanted objects.
Manaharz is simple but expensive to make. It requires the repeated reduction of large quantities of sap to the point of crystallization. Up to 450 gallons of manasap must be reduced to produce a single cubic foot of ManaHarz. Clearly, this process requires larga manasap surpluses to be feasible.
The proposed railway proves unfeasibly large in practice, the length of track that would need to be built and maintained for a transcontinental railway on that scale is simply too much given the allocated budget. A simpler plan is drafted where the railway will be run just past the borders of the Sorting Swamps, meeting up with the existing railroad just within Jungie's territory..

Setlovia
The remote location of the monastery works as intended, filtering out all but the most devout of pilgrims. The mountain is harsh but beautiful in its own way, and Nikhil and Mira soon love it as if it were their ancestral home. Over time, the complex is gradually expanded, adding a simple rock garden and housing for the acolytes who the priests choose to take under their wing.
As the settlers travel south, they meet a boisterous race of dwarves, who seem to be industrious and mischievous in equal measure.

------END OF TURN SEVEN------

GLOBAL DISASTER
For centuries, the Living Earth had been content as it was. A combination of ideal geography and highly concentrated uranium had ensured a constant state of balance, neither tipping into explosion nor fizzling out. But all changed with a simple tremor, the slightest continental nudge, so small that those above might not even have felt it. Perhaps it collapsed a massive cavern. Perhaps it merely moved the wrong rock. Whatever the cause, though, the result was the same. The delicate balance was shattered and the raw power of the atom was unleashed. Witnesses report a blinding flash, followed seconds later by a shockwave that rattled windows and shattered fine china. When they were able to look back, the whole province was on fire.
The Living Province is ablaze, spewing radioactive smoke and dust across the whole of the continent. The current wind direction is: Northeast.

So I guess we're going with that... I'll describe the result of the "went OK action" then

>Diplo Greanian Federation
The LGBT and pro-sex-worker-rights community on the internet steadily grew and carved out it's own niche in the Greanian internet. It's not enough to start a movement, but it exists.

> Eisenkrone-Helderezee Empire
The rumors of the Empire being the one who attacked their northern neighbor not vice versa spread quickly. While to a vast majority of people it's just another conspiracy, to many other's it's what makes most sense. This only strengthens the overall anti-war sentiment within the Empire. Upon investigation (if it happens) the Empire would find mostly it's own citizens posting said conspiracy with some older posts coming from the Setlovian Internet-Satellite Network.

> Ingashe
Your people like the Snakefolk a little bit more than they did before.

Additionally in some Citystates like Tropios, Aeragate and Wumpeltown Ingashe anime seems to be gaining popularity.

> Dvesilians
The movement for liberty and equality takes off not only in the streets, but also in the Dvesilian internet. In fact it is the internet who propels it from a localized event to something happening all over the decentralized nation.

> Snorting Swamps
In the snorting Swamps anti-refugee and anti-war sentiment rises. Soon online whole forums are founded just to complain about Siderio, Siderians and unneeded militarization. Though real life incidents of discrimination are rare they'd occasionally happen.

> Setlovia
In the more internet savy parts of the Country, edgy atheism becomes a trend among the youth. Not just not believing in the Fire Goddess, but actively disparaging her, making fun or her, calling her a fake God and other acts of edginess happen. The movement is mostly localized to teens and the occasional 2Xyo, who often act as thought leaders and role models to the younger ones.

With things going relatively well for the Kabal it's time to let the Demons do something fun for once... no I don't mean rape, torture and murder... they've been doing that all the time. Anime and video games!

> Action 1: An Anime Masterpiece
Ever since the 26th international the Demons have realized just how powerful of a propaganda tool anime could be. A few trial anime for kids are created to get the animation style down and then work begins on the demon's magnum opus. "Aetherite" the anime if described would be a mix of studio Ghibbli movie and Avatar the last Airbender. A group of 4 protagonists:
> A Snakefolk fire mage girl
> A half-elf plant mage girl
> A Katzarin mechanic girl
> A human boy tactician
Travel the world with the goal of destroying the Boarsikh Empire, a fascist Empire wishing to destroy the world and environment. The protagonists travel trough a wondrous world freeing people from tyranny. The anime is promoted worldwide.

> Action 2: Videogames
With video-games we go the opposite approach than with anime. Release a few good instead of one masterpiece... though that is mostly to satisfy all types of demons.
Released games:
> Apocrypha
The mortal races wish for independence from heaven and wish to live in peace. Heaven swoops down declaring war, demanding loyalty. Angels change all those who resist rejoining heaven into zombies doing their bidding. The angels while angelic looking are often portrayed as caricatures and deformed... obviously angels obviously evil. You play as a Male Katzarin Marine using inordinate amounts of brutality to dispatch opponents. The game would become famous for the highest level of violence, gore and metal music in a video game up to date.
> Aetherite Adventures
A simple Final Fantasy like game which is a tie in into the popular anime Aetherite
> Apocalypse Harem
You are the last man alive in this hot hentai game. Fuck members of every species known to Tarnsworld... because if you don't... all life might end! A hentai game with little plot, but a lot of anime-nudity and animated anime sex-scenes.

> Kasai Avalut
A light novel choose your own adventure type game. You navigate dialogue trees with various cute girls or boys to woo them and form meaningful relationships. It's the world's first dating sim. it's made the be relatively cute and innocent.

It takes a few days before the wind carried radioactive material all the way to the land of the Kabal. Hitting the nation square in the face. At first the demons panic as they see the skin of the fleshy vessels melt and random objects and lifeforms start to glow faintly green. Expecting an attack the army is mobilized, but to the Demons surprise... it was a natural disaster. The Heavens must be fucking messing with them. The knowledge of radiation within the Kabal is comparably low, but on par with early 2000's Europe. Iodinised water to drink for the whole population would slowly be handed out with lead being ordered on mass to secure the most important facilities and for the more influential demons their houses.

> Diplo Colony
With possible food shortages coming from land and cattle being radiated the supply of meat to Colony is drastically cut
> Diplo Setlovia
the same with the supply of Blue Heaven for Setlovia, leading to a massive spike in Blue Heaven prizes and forced detox for many of the addicts

> Diplo Snorting Swamps
To keep up the international reputation of the Snakefolk Commune an official letter is sent to the Jungies who were 2nd on the path of the deadly wind warning them of the high radiation. Though by the time the letter arrived the radiation would long have arrived.

> Diplo Ingashe
Being the nation most savy on radiation and radioactive material the Snakefolk Commune reaches out to the Ingashe for help. They wish for aid in anti-radiation medicine, radiation suits and for advice in removing radiation form areas polluted by it.

> Diplo Tawar
The Tawar are informed of the dangerous radioactive wind, but are calmed by saying it seems not to go in their reaction. The Snakefolk Commune is asking for advice as their Manasap tree is now partially covered in radiation burns and they fear it might die. They also ask if they have any sort of plant tech which can purify land of radioactive contamination. They also ask for assistance in food as this natural disaster plagues their nation.

> Diplo Dvesilians (the 3 top honchos)
This would be the first time the Snakefolk Commune would directly contact the Dvesilian State. The purpose would be simple. The Living Earth was calm for centuries before they started prodding, drilling and experimenting with it. The Snakefolk Commune by no means is insinuating that the release of radioactive material was done on purpose, but believe that the Dvesilian exploration of the Area is to blame. Seeing as the wind has carried the radiation away from Dvesilia having the Snakefolk Commune pay for their mistake; the Snakefolk Commune demands reparations for damages done and points out how even if damages are paid it won't make up for the tens of thousands of dead this disaster caused.

The Empire, since its unification, has not been unified in a cultural sense. And, this is fine. The local cultures, while different, still share many of the same values, and those which they do not share are minor. The people of the Eisenkrone-Helderezee Empire are different because unlike the ravenous barbaric hoards which have tried to take the nation down, or the Ingashe who simply absorb every culture and destroy its 'capitalistic' elements to turn it into a barely different hollow shell, practically a clone of Ingashe's own culture. In the Eisenkrone-Helderezee Empire, the differences between the people of Veloxflumine, of Helderezee, and of Eisenkrone are able to co exist. For while there certainly are plenty of differences, like Eisenkrone's value of martial skill and their nobility, or Helderezee's intrinsic love for freedom, and the freedom the skies and sea's give, or Veloxfumine's love of arts and traditional styles of architecture. They all share a few unbreakable set of values that unify us. For, the people of the Empire are bound not by language or culture, but by a bond of blood. Initially forged in a desperate alliance between rivals only to turn into much more than an alliance.

Of course, while its clear we need to end the war swiftly as possible, simply holding the line and forgetting about it just isn't possible. Especially seeing how they their forces are so close to a rout. Even with war weariness. A great victory and complete capitulation of the enemy would be good. Especially given the fact that, Recon reports, the barbarians who raided from the north are near. Regardless, it becomes quite clear that there is a need to lunge at the heart before their forces can reorganize and recover. Allowing them to do so would be foolish and extend the war needlessly long while causing more loss of life on both sides, making the situation worse on the home front. As such, there'd be a plan. They'd surround and destroy the remnants of the army of Vaalië and then go onto the capital, with any luck, being out of supply and their forces so thoroughly shattered, they will surrender without much fight.

>Action One. Properly make a number of holidays unique to the region of the empire it is a part of official. Be it celebrating the legendary cavalry charge of Alleken Ginningen that relieved Stilleswasser in Eisenkrone, or the day of Juliette van den Twilhaar's circumnavigation in Helderezee. And of course, the day of unification, the date different for Veloxflumine compared to Eisenkrone or Helderezee. These holidays would all have days off, and would be unique to the varying parts of the country, of course, they'd not really be celebrated outside the nations of their origin, but they'd still be quite nice. In fact, there were plans to have an air show using the Aces over Kronenthron once the day of the charge arrives, as surely the war will be over by then.

>Action Two. End the war. Encircle and destroy the enemies forces.
>>
>>4229609
Send a small regiment to break the Eincirclement and help the encircled troops escape and prevent a slaughter.

It's a small detachment just meant to make a retreat possible. And if it fails to document (with cameras) the cruelty with which the imperials annihilate the forces not permitting retreat or surrender.
>>
>>4229243

Ironically, despite Veloxflumine being the nation with the least amount of wars in its history, and its people being right next to and most effected by the fighting, they seem to be the most angry at the people spreading such rumors, considering how they saw first hand the tanks and helicopters of Vaalië fly past before even a declaration of war was announced and right after the strike of the northern barbarians. In fact, ironically enough most arguments break out from someone from Veloxflumine arguing the ridiculousness of their claim more than any other part of the empire. Usually with moderate degree's of success. Additionally, some people from Eisenkrone would even ask if the people spreading such rumors are communists, seeing how they seem so keen on throwing the word 'imperialism' around...Still, no major action is done against them, other than some flame wars being started up. Despite this, there would be some points that resonate with them, and a desire to end the war as swiftly as possible...

>>4229274

While the empire allows the shows from the Soviets to be shown, as they are a free and open country, they rarely take off. This Aetherite is one of the exceptions to this rule, and gains a decent number of fans. There is a common view of the Boarsikh Empire being similar to Vaalië in some ways, and some of the characterization of this empire clicks with the more environmentally conscious as well. Somewhat fittingly, most people who watch it seem to like the Mechanic the most. Regardless, it's be swift to become the most popular show from a soviet country in the Empire's history. Of course, its not supper popular, but it certainly is more than just a niche audience. The games on the other hand don't really do too well in the empire with the exception of the Aetherite Adventures game. The main tastes of the Empire seem to be that of the Action Adventure/Role Play Games, along with Strategy, real time or turn based, and Tycoon.

1. With the preliminary tests completed, the Federal council now allows the training and sending of Graenians into space. The plan, by the end of the decade, in the tyrn of 2010, the Federation will put men on one of the moons of Tarnia. With that announcement, the people are once again interested in space flight, knowing one day, a Graenian will set foot on another world.
In other news, that same day a group of protestors, riled up by Gehennan influence, attempts to hijack the federal council meeting to spread word of their desire for the rights of the LGBT+ and Sex workers. Their attempt is short lived, as FSB and Military guard on sight apprehend them once they enter the building. Many had outstanding warrants for prostitution and public indecency, and said many are arrested. The public opinion on them? Good riddance. The Homosexuals and Whores don't need legal rights.

2. This all, however, is interrupted by reports from the SATCOM array. Off to the southwest, a supermassive explosion was detected, and Satellite imaging shows a blinding flash, followed seconds later by a shockwave. The whole land is burning, and radioactive smoke pours from it. The council is quick to act, drafting up plans to safeguard the Federation and her people. The winning proposal: A massive infrastructure program with the goal of shelters containing food, air and water filters, all powered by Tesla generators for the maximum length of habitation. In case of mechanical failure, analogue backups inside just in case. Federal Guard troops are prepared to handle cleanup detail with the Aftermath.

*This is Brevida News signing in with the weekly report*
In the wake of the cataclysm of Dzivalniem (subtitles: the living hills, location of the uranium outburst) it seems that greatness can still be found as the critically acclaimed brass bolt game which is "Lieldatoru Kaskadēt" (subtitles: Mainframe Cascade) has rocked the gaming world. Its use of classic Dvesilian perspective, namely the use of multiple screens, tools and weapons configured to a keyboard and compatible with some of the most famous setlovian gaming systems. This has sparked controversy as the setlovian government tries to extract compensation from the manufacturers and producers of the game due to its comparability, which relates to another instance of foreign influence as its themes, though indicative of Dvesilian society with its disdain for AI and high technology do not ring strong enough in the eyes of many, especially among the older generations. Its main antagonist - "MAATE" (subtitles: MOTHR) - is implied to have empathy, regret and many other emotions typically only seen in depictions of soul bearing races. Which when combined with several motifs of quote - "the benefits humanoid style government and legal codes" - can have on a society is also brought up, bringing into question the allegiance of one of the key programmers of the project, whose suspected ties with the strange movement "Jarod par Brividas" (subtitles: "Strike for Liberty" (as in the strike of a snake)) have put him into the melting pot of controversy. As the question still remains if his reputation shall be forged anew or whether it shall be discarded as slag.
This ties in to the recent protests for "freedom, liberty and equality" from the members and sympathizers to this strange movement. Who in recent days have exacerbated the economic scramble which has happened due to the cataclysm, as many farmers sell their land off to move to areas where they will be either safer from the fallout or will not be as economically affected by radioactive contamination. The protesters recently stormed a mindform formation center, which has promoted the drafting of local laws against mob destruction by many of the higher barons. But while they decline in one place they seem to grow everywhere else, more and more of the youth are being drawn to them and with their supposed release of what may be an excellently crafted piece of propaganda only time will tell if they will inflict any real change on dvesilian society.
>>
>>4229296 (diplo - gehenna - major lords)
The demands are refused, the area was clearly already unstable and major mining efforts has not begun. It is safe to assume that at worst the eruption was sped up by a matter of days by dvesilian tinkering, and not only so but many major personal have been lost or permanently damaged by the event. Respected researchers and humble lackeys alike were lost along with a large amount of advanced scientific equipment.
(diplo - gehenna - cultists)
In a recent riot caused by aggressive police at a mindforging facility has allowed us to obtain a large amount of mostly intact devices and tools related to mindforging. When combined with what we know and some of the advanced methology flashdrives we took, we will be able to forge our own dvesilians, assuming we can get our hands on the soul material needed to do so, as we unfortunately cannot get large quantities of soul rich oil or coal as such examples are always taken out and sold to the rich after extraction.

1.
The explosion that rocked the world has generated a resurgence of the anxiety that happened after the fall of Siderio, many saying these past few years and those to come may be called the "Great Squealing". The negative effects of uranium and it's radiation fuels the fear of the Jungies for their way of life. The Snorted hold a Emergency Meeting, and the Siderian Wall is sent out to deal with the crisis despite the recent surge of negative public sentiment. The fortified positions they have created and manned with artillery will defend the Swamp from this unconventional threat. Firing artillery shells with Silver Iodide high into the atmosphere to detonate right outside the Jungies borders in a once experimental, now practical, method called "Cloud-Seeding". High in the atmosphere the silver iodide crystals have water bind to them, forming snow, which as it falls melts to rain. The hope is that the radiation trapped within the water will "drop out" under the repeated Cloud Seeding. Shallow trenches and ditches are dug at the border and laid with plastic to direct the radioactive rainwater south to a reservoir (in one of the green tiles outside the border). The Snorted take great care to have the Siderian Wall's attempts at saving the nation be recorded and televised, as well as the troops handing out Jung-Suits.(see action 2)

2.
>Diplo Everyone
The Oil from the Tar Pit comes to be a great resource in the Jungies hour of need. The petrol is refined into a plastic/rubber polymer, and used to mass create one size fits all Environmental Protection Suits for the Jungie people, the Siderians are equipped altered face masks, hand and feet rubber protect by taking leftover Jungie suits and cutting them to size. The face mask (imagine ww1 gas mask snorkle aesthetic because pig) filters are the hardest part to manufacture, causing the Jungies to turn outward, offering to buy gas mask filters, and water purifiers of good quality from who ever will sell them.

>Kabal
At the streetside of a high rise building poking out amid the swamp trees in rainy Porcipolis, a glum Jungie absentmindedly stirs his pot of noodles from his food truck, while his patrons munch away on the awning covered stools. The neon "O-P-E-N" glowed with a crimson radiance on the side of his truck, as the noodle bowl light show switched from one position to the other.

He went to turn up the TV.

"-derian Wall troops are now taking measures to limit the effect the Living Earth Explosion has upon the Snorting Swamps says Clan Representative Hog' Gunarson. Now I don't know about you Tom, but I'd say it's about time those Siderians have finally gone about getting things done-". The newspigs quip elicits a round of chuckles from the patrons and noodle monger.

"Now apparently we have a transmission incoming directly from the Snorted, showing the brave sons of New Siderio doing what they were trained to do in this crisis."

The everyday news feed goes to black, before the seal/flag of the Snorting Swamps fades onto the screen (Basically Blue, Green, and brown with a cat tail plant sigil with the sun behind it.) As it fades back to darkness, patriotic trumpets begin a reveley, and then cuts to heavy metal guitar, as clips of the soldiers in their swamp camo uniforms firing great booming artillery into the oncoming radiation filled cloud, and causing it to disperse as it falls with rain. Many Jungies at the food truck let out cheers and are transfixed with the flashy and showy production.

High above the street, in a office room overlook the city, a room full of snorting pigs discuss affairs of state.

"The public is turning against those that are suppose to protect them. The internet traffic is ridiculous." Cries one of the Communication Reps.

"We tracked the initial I.P.s, from when the sentiment and unrest began to spread, we are seeing an occurrence of non-Jungie I.P.s posting as Jungies, seeming all coming from our western neighbors."

"Block I.P.s from the region that express anti-Siderian sentiment, I can not handle one more call about some Jungie child spitting on a soldier because his dad said they are lazy. Show the people that we saved our friends for a reason, and end whatever seems to be at play. This "Kabal" may be not as benign as thought. All in favor, snort"

The room is filled with the cacophony of 100 shotgun blasts.

"All opposed, squeal."

Silence.

"Very well, motion carried."

The Tawar Federation is unprepared for a radioactive fallout. It has never be a nuclear nation. Most of what its scientists knows about radiation is purely theorical, and either learned from other nations, or from small-scale pretransition research projects.

Action 1:
>prepare the nation for a potential radioactive fallout
The population is informed transparently of the risks for the nation if the wind turns. After a long deliberation in the various local assemblies, the preventive maximum preparedness option is choosen.
Geiger counters are imported from Ingashe (and powered with Manasap to Electricity converters). Food and Manasap are stored. Some light rationning is decided to create decent sized stockpiles. Hazmat suits (made with engineered wood bioplastic and filters), and iode pills are put in production.
Emergency plans and organizing are draft.
Maximum priority is given to these tasks.

Action 2 :
>urgent research
The University of Gwadorship dedicates itself to look for ways to depollute irradiated soils, using our previous experience using plants to depollute soils during the transition.
A team of researchers is sent to the Snakefolk Commune to study the effects of radiation on the ecosystems and on the manasap tree.

"The giant radioactive fire burning near Dvesilia is an international threat. Some nations were already subject to radioactive fallout, and many more are in danger, should the wind turn.
The Tawar Federation is calling for an international effort to extinguishe this province-sized fire and is ready to deploy the means required for it. We are calling for funds, troops, scientists, and data regarding uranium, radiation, and radioactive fires.

However, it can send some relevant Data dating from between the years of 1954 AD to the present day, with redundant or disproven information from the past obviously not sent.

Esteemed Comrades,

The Working Class are spared not from natural disasters. The Union of Soviet Republics will lend what aid it can to resolving this global crisis. We have a decade of extensive research on radioactive materials and their effects that we gained in the process in developing our reactors. Additionally, our work with the Regattians has provided us with effective air transportation that we can use to put out the fires. If the Tawar will provide lodging for workers and a space for our aircraft to land we can approach this fire from two angles, and in so doing guarantee the success of containment operations. Our supplies of Personal Protective Equipment are not large and so they will need to be regulated to specialists. Our factories will gear themselves to produce more but that will take time. For now we must take what precautions we can.

Sincerely,

Comrade-Minister Iroh

The Glass dome under which the mini ecosystem is seems to have partly protected it, but most of the Mansap Tree's leaves have been burned off and thee=re are radiation burns in parts of it's bark. Currently all we could do is pour iodine on it hoping to remove some of the radiation. The tree seems to not be rapidly dying, but it's producing much less manasap and might die in the long therm. The other pieces of Tawar biotechnology being much smaller and under the cover of the leaves of the Manasap Tree seem to be barely harmed.

The delivered food is thanked for and brought where it is needed either where demons hunger directly or to our livestock.

The Kabal is happy to send some scientists, but frankly have no one which knows much about radiation. All they can think off is just putting a giant Lead Dome over the whole area.

"Esteemed Comrade-Minister Iroh and Comrades of Ingashe,

The recent incident regarding radiation winds has taught our nation a grave lesson and that lesson is to never neglect a field of science. For decades having solved the problem of infinite energy with out Flame of Life Powerplants we neglected nuclear energy and science, which cause us to lag behind and be completely unprepared.

We ask for your nation and of your working people to construct a Thorium Reactor in our nation so we can analyse it and learn more of nuclear energy. In exchange we will let you in on a secret research project of the Snakefolk Commune. Our nation has found a crashed Extratarnestial Space ship and has confirmed it to be of alien origin. The Empire, despite being in a war and the least effected by the disaster due to their positioning would still send a decent number of aircraft and their pilots in order to assist the Tawar Federation in extinguishing the fire. The aircraft and their pilots obviously will only stay until the fire is extinguished, and these would be civilian aircraft and pilots, but they'd help. Additionally, a few heavy vehicles would also be able to be sent, made in Kronenthron. The reason simply was that in a situation like this, it was imperative to do what one can to help aid in stopping this threat. Nothing more, nothing less...

Hopefully they wouldn't complain about pollution as almost all the vehicles are powered traditionally, with very few exceptions.

1. Automate CyberAm
The final step in the CyberAm system was the elimination of the human element. The improved reporting, monitoring, and computing capabilities of the system no longer needed the constant inputs and monitoring of human administrators. It could finally achieve almost complete automation. The new CyberAm could both monitor and make decisions to the national logistics pipeline. It could call truckers to dispatch, calculate materials usage, set quotas to meet Central Committee plans, and keep real-time data on manufacture, consumption, production, and transportation of goods. There were still several human administrators that monitored and handled bugs and exceptions in the system or made updates to aspects of its framework to account for new industries and technological developments.

2. Firefighting
This is Jeanette Robbins reporting live from Hanashi. The mood in the capitol of the Soviet Republic of Ingashe is upbeat, but somber. It is as if there were a great celebration of an awful event. I think that might actually be what's happening. If you look to my right you can see battalions of the People's Army marching down Red Street to vehicles standing by to transport them to the airport. These fearless young men and women are members of an international task force of soldiers, scientists, and civilian engineers going to battle the perilous fires raging in the Living Land. The USR has been remarkably open about its communication and about what it knows about radiation. They have made their research into the effects of radiation on organic life available to the public. If you look a bit further you can see cargo truck loaded up with PPE and medical supplies intended to aid the affected Snake Commune. It seems that the USR is really pulling out all the stops to contain this crisis, I have Comrade-General Suihosin here with us to discuss the Union's approach to the crisis. Good morning Comrade-General!

Suihosin: Good morning Comrade Jeanette. Yes, the Union of Soviet Republics takes this global health crisis very seriously. As one of the pioneers in nuclear power we realized very quickly that our expertise would be essential in containing the crisis.

Jeanette: Why would the USR take such great efforts to stop this when they are the least affected?

Suihosin: The Union of Soviet Republics is the ally to the working class around the world. If even one comrade dies as a result of this fire then we have failed in our duty to protect and nurture the revolution. Let the capitalists be concerned about profits. The Union of Soviet Republics will always value the health and safety of its comrades over imaginary wealth.

Jeannete: Bold words from a bold man. Good luck, Comrade-General! The world is watching and cheering on your brave soldiers.

Suihosin: Thank you. We serve the Soviet Union.

The economic backlash of this event has left the economy in a state of disarray as farmers sell of their land and property values in the area decrease rapidly.
Thus the baron of taramaja will send aid. His resources are still there with stores of many raw materials and resources, though he does not own and cannot contract as many planes as other nations. Thus he will use what he has to maximize the efficiency of the response of other nations.

Action 2:

>>
>>4231739
It is explained that the organization grew faster than the influence of the initiated. Splinter groups claiming to be yet not truly apart of the movement formed in isolated areas and carried out actions outside of their control.
They believe that they can hijack the outgrowth by replacing the leaders after a small period of disorder. Though they will need assistance to do so.
The plan is to assassinate all the leaders we can find in a short period using underhanded tactics or perhaps even stealthy demons. Once these leaders get killed off there will be a new movement of individuals in outcry against this "unacceptable and unwarranted tyranny" which would both put the main group underground and also create disorder which could be used to our advantage.
The other part would be through establishing a mine on one of the recently discovered metal deposits in the eastern range, which would give them more local power which could be used to create an area where they could flee if things go south and also which they could use to fund the recuperating of the movement into a new form which can be easily controlled by our agents.
>>
>>4232722
"Assassination? Did being trapped in a tincan body really deteriorate your IQ so much? If the assassinations are found out it's way worse PR than whatever the fuck said splinter groups did. Solve the situation trough diplomacy helldammit.

Sure go establish a mine I don't mind, but act within the realms of legality. At least for now."

>Song sung commonly by mercantile maritime sailors from Heidekerk ann Zee

At dawns end we finally set sail
And look through the foggy veil
after many days away from sea
Finally we once more are free

Away from our far distant shore
We ready the ship as we look to the fore
But soon enough we're called with a roar
And we head off to go do yet another chore

At stary night the fog lifts from our rails
With the wind's strong cold gales
Look to the stars to chart the course
And be sure to get the winds full force.

Away from our far distant shore
We ready the ship as we look to the fore
But soon enough we're called with a roar
And we head off to go do yet another chore

Despite the trip being the same route
At all times but night there is some doubt
And even out here with all of our labor
It can all be for naught with another crews saber.

Away from our far distant shore
We ready the ship as we look to the fore
But soon enough we're called with a roar
And we head off to go do yet another chore

Months out at sea we finally get relief
As the word from the crows mast is brief
From her position high above she can finally see
Our home port of Heidekerk ann Zee

Away from our far distant shore
We ready the ship as we look to the fore
But soon enough we're called with a roar
And we head off to go do yet another chore

Swiftly we pull into port and unload our cargo
Yet after I cant escape from this shadow
Every night I find myself wishing to be free
Maybe life on land is not for me.

Away from our home in the ocean
We yern to return to where we belong with commotion
But soon enough we're called to the oars
And we head off once more to far distant shores

(Don't ask why we are doing shanties now.)

The anime finds its greatest success, ironically, in the EH Reich, where the inhabitants have only recently been fully connected to the wider world. The people there are starved for cultural works and seem to glom onto those of others in response. The videogames also do well in those lands, though they face stiff competition from Setlovian products. The critical consensus that emerges over time is that Setlovian video games are high in quality and low in quantity, while Snakefolk games are the opposite. Still, for those just looking for a fun, mindless way to spend time, Snakefolk games have a clear appeal.

The Colonists are excited by the live product, chittering in their excitement. After a heated negotiation session with the Kabal, the two parties arrive at an acceptable trade. The Colonists provide the following biography.
Their race are interdimensional traders, hopping between alternate universes to gather exotic goods, before selling them elsewhere. On their latest jump, their navigator miscalculated, placing them next to Tarnia’s sun. Damaged beyond repair, the ship managed to limp to the nearest habitable planet before it failed entirely. They were right on the cusp of victory, so close its sweet taste lingers on their lips. The routed enemy was fleeing backwards, only to find that the Type C’s had outsped them once again, cutting off all possibility of retreat. But even as the gunners began to select their targets, a hail of anti-tank fire erupted from the forest, tearing a fiery hole in a crucial part of the formation. As the Panzers attempted to turn and face this new enemy, their radios erupt into static, disrupting all attempts at coordinated fire. Any normal unit would have collapsed here, flailing without their command and control, but these are no ordinary soldiers. They are Panzerfahrer, and their tanks are the finest anywhere in the world. With a rousing battle cry, the Type C’s spread out through the trees, driving back the unseen invaders with a hail of artillery fire. But alas, their attack is just a fraction too late. For even as the tanks turn back, the remnants of the Vaalian army stream away, surely to regroup and fortify further north. The soldiers are fuming, but there’s little they can do but watch as the last chance of finishing this war quickly drains away.

A Union-class hauler is refitted with a top-of-the-line engine and a pair of SRBs, needed to provide the extra bit of oomph required to place the most precious cargo yet into orbit. It performs marvelously, and for the first time in a long time, there is a Graenian presence in space.
Operation Safe Harbor is the most expensive public works project in Graenian history, aiming to provide enough bunker space and supplies for every man, woman and child. The first step is the building of the bunkers themselves. Caves, fissures and subway tunnels are identified, surveyed and fortified where needed.

The silver iodide shells are a great success, as the clouds seeded deposit their deadly cargo over a relatively uninhabited section of the southern jungles. But elation rapidly turns to concern as the full implications of that statement are digested. The rivers that headwater there run to Tropios. They are not going to be happy about this. Soon a logistics officer rushes in with even more bad news. The Tawars and others have begun buying up as much iodine as they can get a hold of, depleting the already dwindling stockpile. If the Jungies don’t act quick, there might not be enough left for a second barrage.
The new suits come out just as the Tawars and Ingashe begin to ramp up their acquisition programs. All nations purchase quite a few, however.
>>
For a little while, spot banning IPs worked a charm. The intelligence officers watch with a mix of both satisfaction and astonishment as internet traffic about the Siderian refugees dips by nearly three-quarters. But soon, the effect begins to reverse. It seems that the agitators have gotten wise to Jungie's efforts and have begun swapping IPs and accounts after every post. Furthemore, a number of sock puppets appear from within the Snorting Swamps themselves! The Jungies will have to up their counterintelligence efforts significantly if they wish to truly stamp this out.

>>4230560
>Tawar Federation
Seeing the writing on the wall, the Federation government decides the best policy is to get ahead of the crisis. The president(or whoever is at the top of the governement) addresses the population over the airwaves, assuring them that the government is prepared for whatever comes next. Behind the scenes, logistics experts and private enterprise scramble to buy up as much PPE and iodide as they can. It's a difficult task: already stockpiles are being depleted as citizens and governments attempt to do the same.
The findings of the university aren’t reassuring. If fallout does contaminate the soil, purifying it will be prohibitively difficult. Adding to the problem is that the plants usually used to decontaminate soils by the Federation aren’t suitable for the task of cleaning radioactive materials. The concentration of isotopes within their body simply does too much damage, killing them before they are able to pick up a significant quantity of contamination. The University recommends that the Federation take the approach to decontamination used by other nations. Removing the topsoil and sealing it away decreases the level of contamination, though at the cost of the health of the land itself. The scientists promise to continue chewing at the problem.

Soviet Republic of Ingashe
The comrade-scientists brow beads with sweat as he waits for the CyberAm to produce its results. The super-computer’s underground complex has nearly tripled in size and is filled to capacity with thousands of server racks. Now, every one of those racks hums with activity as the machine chews on the dataset. Finally, all sound ceases. A small display lights up with numbers, detailing the most optimal distribution for grain shipments for the past month. The scientists compare it to the known data before turning around and saluting the attendant comrade-minister.
“Well? What’s the deviation?”
“Deviation is zero, sir. CyberAm has calculated the correct distribution down to individual containers.”
A chorus of cheers erupts. The Great Endeavor is a success.
>>
A report reaches Hanashi from the power plant. During a routine sweep of the area, a dusty set of shipping containers was noticed. When they were cracked open, the workers discovered box upon box of potassium iodide tablets, leaded glass plates, and hazmat equipment, enough to supply the whole province and the surrounding areas. Apparently the shipment was stowed away during the early days of thorium experimentation, when fears of a catastrophic meltdown still plagued the populace. Now, it provides a substantial boost to the Ingashe’s supplies of safety equipment.

------- END OF TURN EIGHT -------

GLOBAL DISASTER UPDATE: Turn 2
Footage of scientists and soldiers marching to the world’s rescue play on every television, backed by triumphant and patriotic music. The situation on the ground, however, is quite different. The plumes of fallout are so dense and dangerous, pilots and groundsmen can’t be near for more than a minute without exceeding their permitted limit of exposure. Attempts at putting the fire out with water and foam backfired severely, the pyrophoric uranium and plutonium generating a deadly fireball as they reacted with the water. The ranking Ingashe comrade-scientist curses as he hears the news. If only this stuff was as safe and pliant as thorium! An alternative method of extinguishing must be discovered.
Meanwhile, stockpiles of masks, filters, and iodine are rapidly being depleted by the surge in global demand. Iodine supplies in particular are being heavily impacted. The substance has few uses, so supplies of the stuff were limited even before the explosion. Now, iodine is almost impossible to find.
The weather is cloudy with light showers. The wind direction is east.

1. As the news of the failure of the Ingashe, Tawar, and every other nation to contain the fire and subsequent fallout only serves to fuel the thoughts that Operation Safe Harbor is not only worth it, but a necessity for the safety and well being of the entire federation. Thus, work continues, ahead of schedule even.

2. To deal with the fear of radiation poisoning the soils of the nation, Hydroponics is invested heavily into. Without the need for soil, and in the case of mass soil contamination, crops can still be grown, and people can stay fed even as farms are put out of use due to the toxic skies.

The Pope of the Church of Graenia, in these dark times of global catastrophe,is a figure many if not all of the Citizens of the Federation look to, and today, he makes a public appearance from the Vatican inside of Tiga to lead a mass. Those cursed snakes have decided to get involved now, have they? Its clear that the Empire misjudged them in terms of threat. Clearly, they were on par, if not more so than the soviet republic. Still, at the moment there was nothing that could be done about this...at least, for now. Still, the war must end, yet, there was one thing that the enemy in the north wouldn't expect. Plan Oranje. A plan that would require extensive effort by the air force and navy, one that'd be the last chance to truly end the war sooner rather than later. The Kingdom of Vaalië had a navy, of course. But compared to the Eisenkrone-Helderezee Navy, it was small, being generous. Mostly consisting of destroyers, diesel submarines and icebreakers. With the control of the sky thanks to aircraft carriers, and some careful distraction on the front line, a naval invasion of the northern most portion of Vaalië in the summer was possible, and with this and some icebreakers of the Empires own, stable supply could be managed. Expanding the front helped the empire, for it had strength in not just quality in a few areas, but also numbers. For sure, it would force them to split their forces at least, and if they pushed the invasion force back, the frontline would be able to push forward. Even if the soldiers were pushed near the beaches, missiles and fire from the Empire's navy likely could support. The plan would go in three phases. The first would be a careful strike from a few nuclear submarines to take out any and all surface naval forces Vaalië had, and any submarines which were at the surface. The second phase would be a few carrier task forces escorted by cruisers and destroyers, along with submarines protecting convoys to land, and softening up the landing zone if any military forces were at these zones. The last phase would be the landing, which would make a beachhead, take out any and all land forces they could. After, they'd push down toward the capital. This, combined with pushes in the south, would hopefully cause the enemy to crack, though ti would require the use of practically the entirety of the armed forces of the Empire, both naval, areal, and ground. With this amount of effort put into this, volunteers from any enemy nation would find it difficult to actually enter or leave the country, and any supply from certain rival nations wouldn't be able to arrive at Vaalië ports. Nothing short of actual direct and open declaration of war would break this blockade...

May peace finally come to the Empire after this...

Meanwhile, on the home front, infrastructure would be worked on once more. In Veloxflumine a broadcasting station would be made. The reason Veloxflumine was prioritized was because the radio stations south were able to provide decently for the capital of Eisenkrone and Helderezee while Veloxflumine still faced the issues the other cities did. Additionally, Veloxflumine was effected the most by the war, and even a little gesture like this would help majorly. Of course, in time, Eisenkrone and Helderezee would get their own station, but seeing how their connection to telecommunications was considered acceptable at the moment, it wasn't a major priority compared to Veloxflumine. It'd also help news from Veloxflumine get to the other cities as well. With all this work, by the end of the great infrastructure plan the Empire had, the Empire would have the best broadcasting and receiving system in the world, surpassing even the Jungies!

>Action One. End this, for real this time.

>Action Two. Build a Broadcast Tower in Veloxflumine.

*letter canonically sent pre-battle couldn't write it up as I slept

"Dear Keiser,

We are calling for an end to this war. The Empire has acted beyond unreasonable. Even if the Imperial claim was correct that it was the Vaalie who invaded first that does not justify the attempted destruction of their army leaving them defenseless or occupation of their state. The Snakefolk commune calls for an immediate end to this punitive war, especially so in times so troubling. You using a natural disaster to turn away attention to your conquest is beyond despicable. The Snakefolk Commune wishes to mediate between the Empire and Vaalie to reach an amicable peace deal one where the borders of both nations get redrawn to the state from before the war.

With regards,
the working people of the Snakefolk Commune"
>>
>>4234042

The Kaiser would be confused at the letter. For one, the Snakefolk commune would certainly not be the person the Empire would let mediate seeing how they very clearly and obviously are not neutral in this conflict and are obviously biased toward the side of Vaalië, having even sent volunteers to end the fighting and making this intention very clear in their letter. Secondly, the Kaiser was...well...Not actually that powerful in the government. Their role had mostly become a ceremonial one with limited powers. They would not be the one to be able to even broker a deal. Thirdly, how was the Empire using the disaster to turn attention away from the war? The Empire was still reporting on the war as normal. Fourthly, the fact that the letter actually questioned who started the war raised questions, were they the ones who started that little rumor of nonsense that only a few gullible people believe? Regardless, the letter would arrive after the operation was underway and the ships had set sail, however it would be passed on to the Kriegsmäid and the higher levels of government. The letter would simply be put away after some debate, with discussions on what to do after the war, and a plan being agreed upon in the government. After the war, everything would be made transparent. The dates of everything, the reports and recordings of radio transmissions, footage, everything. And most importantly the Snakefolk involvement in the war and efforts to prolong it.

With the encirclement broken the task force would attempt to return home, but before most of them could have been evacuated news of the approaching Imperial fleet came as such the evacuation was abandoned and the left behind Demons were promised better fleshy shells after they are done here.

As all remaining Snakefolk armies leave the vicinity the forces of Vaalie are left with the remnants of the task force. With overwhelming power approaching the Snakefolk would advise the Vaalie Army to avoid direct confrontation, instead guerrilla warfare is the best choice. Having a home ground advantage in such a hostile terrain is a big boon. The forces are to be spread out as thinly as possible, hiding in burrows in the snow only to harass the enemy. After all one warship can destroy a whole army, but one man and a well placed bomb can destroy a warship. Harassment tactics and destruction of supply lines is proposed as the last method of defense for the Vaalie if the Imperials still refuse peace talks.

This is a defeat for the Snakefolk Commune

As the Demons enter the Citystate they can't help, but notice the massive creature in the middle of the town, but they know better than to just ask.
Instead they patiently listen to the explanation. Now things make more sense. Especially them knowing Hellspeak.

Seeing as the Colonists are stranded the Demons would obviously seek to help them:
"This explains a lot it is not Demons who were first in space. It's your kind who has traveled before to hell, for trade. We may not have the technology to travel between any and all dimensions, but we can give you access to hell. Pay us appropriately and we can open up a gate right here next to your City, not only will you be able to trade more you might encounter other's of your kind which might help you get off this primitive hellhole. In fact why don't we do it like this: you give us any technological knowledge you have remaining from your ship and will tell us what the big guy there is and we will not only build a gate to hell here for you, but will also make sure to establish contact between you and the higher demons in hell so they inform you if any of your kind comes to to trade there again. Unlike this shithole dimension hell offers a lot of unique trade goods, so I bet Colonist ships pass trough there quite often.

Action 1 :
>research decontaminating plants
Some researchers have an idea : Maybe if the plant could channel the radioactive contamination to some part of it and seal it there, rather let it repands itself into the whole body, that could help ?

Action 2 :
The (quite small) Tawarian Army is mobilized. The university of Gwadorship, with the help of the data acquired on radioactive fires has devised a new plan : choke the fire with soil and sand. To this end, the few bombers the Tawar have are hastilly modified to be able to transport and drop sand, are given some heat and radiation shielding, then are sent on their mission.

----GLOBAL DIPLO----
"The Tawar Federation thanks all nations that participated in the effort against the radioactive fires that are a threat for us all.
We would like to thank:
- the Graenian Federation, for their data on radioactivity
- the Snakefolk commune, for the scientists they sent
- the Eisenkrone-Helderezee Empire, for the staff, equipment, and aircraft they sent
- the Snorting Swamps, for their equipmennt, helicopters and their attempt at extinguishing the fire
- the Soviet Republic of Ingashe, for their equipment, data, and mobilization of their army.

However, this fight have not ended, and we are still calling for funds, troops, equipment, and data.
In light of the disastrous results of trying to bomb the fire with water and foam, we humbly recommend to do this with sand and soil instead (it may be a good way to get rid of your contaminated soil), to choke the fires instead."

Wind Cultists have been within the Empire for quite a while by now, but they have prioritised staying hidden above everything else. That changes now. The Empire is busy with war and social unrest, noone has time to investigate some prostitutes. It’s time for mass possessions. The Demons will for this turn prioritise increasing their numbers as much as possible. They will kidnap people put a demon in them and return them home. Others would popularise demon symbolism at tattoo parlors making people accidently put on themselves symbolism which invites Demons into themselves. Actively seek out recruits to join the wind Demon cause. Infiltrate fetish groups, lgbt communities and other communities in which the sin of lust runs rampant. Start opening illegal whorehouses in parts of the country where they can’t operate legally. Have escorts make sure to get as many high ranking politicians, generals and TV personalities join in as possible. Wind Cultism should have an easy time spreading in the higher classes facing both a war and civil unrest, they for sure have some stress to relieve. It should have an even easier time spreading among the lower classes, they face no less stress, but the lack of convenient options for entertainment should make bourdels, whorehouses, strip clubs etc. a booming business.

> Action 2: Anything to Destabilize
With the war in the North as much as lost, it’s now the time for Demonkind to strike if we wish to topple the Empire, there won’t be another chance for a while. Use our influence to split the nation in two and fan the flames for a civil war or a collapse of the Empire into multiple states.

> For the Elites:
The higher Class Wind cultists will call for war. On the paid TV channels not everyone has access too a presenter will from time to time burst out starting to scream how: “The Snakefolk Commune has basically already declared war on us! We need to strike them hard and fast! Sever the head of the snake! They have been a thorn in our sides for far too long! War on the Snakefolk Commune, now!”

It would be no different with the politicians. Lower rank politicians or higher rank ones would start advocating for a war with the Snakefolk Commune and to not relent against Vaalie until all of it is conquered and belongs to the Empire!

> For the lower Classes:
On public TV the one everyone has access too, or free tv in general reporters and presenters would sometimes blurt out screaming: “It’s not a rumor. It was the Empire who attacked Vaalie! It was the Empire! I can’t stay silent any longer about this!”

Meanwhile on the internet the letter the Snakefolk Commune sent to the Empire would be leaked: >>4234042
Stoking more suspicions about the origin of the war, but more importantly outrage why peace talks are not happening! Additionally on the influence the Snakefolk Commune holds over the Imperial internet would be fully utilised to further stoke tensions and wishes for a civil war. They would work to popularise communism as an anti-imperial ideology along with nationalism for the various state which make up the Empire.

The Wind Cultists working with the lower classes themselves would would use their free time to hang out anti-war, anti-kaiser and anti-state flyers, and the ones working as prostitutes would convince their clients of the same sentiments. Stoke the flames of civil war from every direction.

Indeed from every direction. “Atherite” the popular anime and video game series which took the Empire by storm would be used for propaganda as well. In a QnA session with the developers the Boarsikh Empire will be revealed to have been inspired by the Jungies and EH Empire, while the Katzerin Mechanic which took the hearts of Imperials by storm will be revealed as a communist. The developers will also express worries as apparently the Empire is planning to ban “Aetherite”. Making viewing it and owning it illegal, urging the dedicated fans of the show to hide their DVD’s and merchandise as well as purge their computers in case a hard crackdown is in store for them.

The Snakefolk are skeptical. "If foam specially designed for containing radiation did not work why would Sand? What if the sand just starts floating on the wind and we get radioactive sand-storms instead? In fact... we have thought of a better idea. Hear us out. The main problem with the radioactive wind is that it's in our world. What if we create a huge up-side down gate to the realm of the Flame of Life and simply make all the radioactive wind go there? The strong radiation might cause mutations within the flame of life itself, but we are certain if it comes up it will be less bad than radioactive winds plaguing half the world."

The Snakefolk Commune comes to tell the Tropians about the happening in the Empire, on how the Empire attacked Vaalie and the poor nation is now barely hanging on to it's existence. Both of the establishment parties are doing poorly, and a formerly irrelevant third party, the Copperheads, have a real chance of winning a plurality of seats. Eventually, you start taking more at once, until you’re losing entire days to the high. You don’t even really regret it. Hell, you’d probably do it all over again if you could. Just for that feeling. You get me?”

With the current situation, and plenty of the population wanting peace, the government would devise a further plan. Once the forces landed and made a proper beachhead, they'd try to open up peace talks. As, while it would give Vaalië time to shift forces during a ceasefire as the peace talks happen, it'd also give the empire the chance to ship more troops and set up further defenses and a forward operating base at their beach head should the peace talks fall through. Regardless, they'd contact a nation they believed to be completely neutral in this conflict and uncaring of either side as to be fair. That nation they'd contact would be the Snorting Swamps.

The Eisenkrone-Helderezee Empire would like the Vaalië to have government reforms to have a proper democracy, and hopefully their people will have a referendum on what they want to do with the 'Dynasty of Tyrants' that once ruled with an iron fist. Additionally, they'd like the funds from their kings private accounts to be used as reparations, not only to the people of Veloxflumine, but the people of Vaalië who had suffered from the war, as well as the many of the other things that dynasty had done. Other than this, they'd like all military plans from Vaalië during and before the war to be made public. These would arguably be harsh demands for a authoritarian regime, but they'd not actually demand any territory, and with the broadcasting equipment, attempts would be made to make the peacetalks at least moderately public in Vaalië lands so that potentially their people, who with any luck were as war weary if not more so than the Empires, would be able to force the Empires demands as well. Additionally, with any luck they'd get the support of the Jungies and be able to get their demands through. Lastly, the fact the empire wouldn't demand any land what so ever at all in the peace talks would also hopefully stop certain communist nations of claiming imperialism. With any luck, and with such demands, the people of Vaalië would hold ill will toward their tyrant king who started all of this rather than the Empire.

In the worst case scenario, where these talks are only used by Vaalië to break the ceasefire and attack, or if the peace talks simply fall through, military operations currently planned will resume as normal.
>>
>>4237542
>>4233232

The Empire would continue to maintain the equipment and people they sent, and send some more to aid given the new situation, however, they also send an offer to come to the peace talks with Vaalië as another neutral arbiter seeing as unlike any other power no one could ever argue that the Tawar Federation wasn't neutral to the Empire, unlike the Jungies which could arguably be considered lukewarm instead of truly neutral.
>>
>>4236998
>>4237554
The Snakefolk Commune would advise the Vaalie Dictator to demand someone else rather than the Jungies arbitrates. The Snakefolk Commune would point out to him that the Empire and the Jungies are allies and as such having them arbitrate is a mockery of neutrality. Of course Greania would also be out of the question, but other nations should be fine. So would be the Tawar.

The Dictator would be advised to keep the peace-talks going at least until winder so thick ice forms in the north making a naval invasion from that direction impossible, reducing the number of fronts. He would be advised to do that no matter how ridiculous the proposal of the Empire is.

>>4234716
The Tawar considering they were invited by the Empire to arbitrate would be contacted by the Snakefolk Commune asking them to arbitrate fairly and not take the Empire's word as fact and give Vaalie a fair chance.

> Diplo Tropios
Seeing as a Ceasefire has happened. The people of Tropios would be urged to get directly involved. Send equipment, send volunteers etc. It would be emphasized just how similar Tropios and Vaalie are to one another.

The Snakefolk Commune would not sit by idly either. While not willing to send it's own men as those take a while to replace they would be happy to start sending equipment on mass. This time the best and most modern they have. Vaalie won't hold no matter what, but seeing the impressive tools of war transported should lift the spirits of both military and civilian... maybe even scare the civilian a bit if he was getting ideas.

Finally the time of the peace talks would come... with the Empire giving an initial offer that to the Dictator would likely sound ridiculous. He was to loose his wealth, power and life in exchange for Vaalie being left relatively unharmed. The Empire was not negotiating with him, they were calling for the people of Vaalie to sell him out in exchange for a promise of peace.

(I won't here obviously assume what the guy responds and how the talks continue that's up to OP)

The broadcasting of the event would obviously reach the people of the Empire and the propaganda war would quickly shift.

> Higher Class
Demands of full conquest and better reparations would be demanded. "Make Vaalie pay! Invade the Snakefolk Commune!", "What the hell is this peace deal!? Make those Vaalie swines pay!"

> Lower Classes
In the lower classes this peace deal would be advertised as way to cruel as well. "You're basically telling them to sell out their ruler! How is that different from communism?!", "First we invade them and now we act like we're he good guys ridding them of a 'tyrant'. Typical!", "You are basically telling this guy to go die. No way he's gonna accept! This is a mockery and parody not peace deal negotiations!" , "Why are they forcing democracy on them. Is that imperialism?" , "Imagine if Vaalie had us execute our Emperor, fair peace deal my ass."
>>
>>4237554
The Federation accepts the offer to mediate the peace, being a completely impartial third party with no significant bias besides the Reich assisting in ship building, and it was unlikely that these Vaaliens would be demanding any territory from the reich on account of their numerous defeats by Imperial forces.

They feel that if the Goddess is communicating with them, as well as the public, through markings burned into their skin, then it might be possible to convene with her in the same way. However, Nikhil and Mira are unable to inscribe anything on their bodies, with the risk of tainting the holy scriptures. They search for a volunteer in their coven, one such volunteer named Andrei. The two use hot coals, attached to metal pencils, to inscribe different symbols and words in their holy language upon Andrei's skin. If nothing immediately results from the application, then they will conduct the same "communication ritual" as the last few times, and observe any differences.

3. With advances in space flight being a solidified, desired goal for the nation, more advances in orbital stability and longevity needed to be made. First off, studies from decades ago have shown that humans in extended periods of zero gravity environments begin to experience negative effects on their physiology, psychology, and cognitive functions. With manned missions extending their timelines from hours, to days and even weeks, something needed to be done. Centrifugal force arms, that being large, spinning arms or rings around the craft would be able to create a form of gravity where Cosmonauts would be able to experience Tarnian levels of gravity, and thus not experience the drawbacks of the Micro gravity environment. Thus, new craft would have to be designed to include deploying arms to create the gravitational force. It was possible, as long as the arms were not deployed until orbit was achieved, but it would be expensive. However, with funds not being spent on fossil fuels, the funds would be there, and with public opinion on space flight still high, there was no reason why not to.

4. Next was the issue of oxygen. There was always only so much in space shuttles, and though more then enough for a few days, the fairly unadvanced, aircraft grade air recyclers wouldn't cut it. There were a few proposals made, one being the use of hydroponics inside the new crafts to recycle the oxygen, another using the process of electrolysis to split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen, producing fresh oxygen for use, and possibly in the future the waste hydrogen could be harnessed as fuel for advanced engines. For now though, both would be tested in stable, Tarnside environments to make sure they even worked.

With record time, the broadcasting equipment in Veloxflumine is set up, opening enough time for Kronenthron and Vanderwaalsdijk to revive their own investment and subsidies. Needless to say this puts the empire as a proper 3G network in telecommunications, and with the effort put into all of this, the empire has come to enjoy the worlds most reliable television networking. An unintended side effect of this means that internet access is also much easier. Needless to say it wouldn't be long before Setlovians find a slow but steady increase in people from the other side of the continent on their game service 'cream' or even on a few of their websites, and any searches would likely come up with a decent number of Eisenkrone-Helderezee websites as well as time went on. The Jungies express interest in supporting the space effort with their crude oil, in return for a satellite under their own control for brosdcasting uses.

>Kabal/Snakefolk
These shadow posters that disseminate their anti-Siderian views in Jungie land, have previously been dealt with mere bannings and fines for "Online Obscenity", however now the first home has been raided after a post was connected with a bar side brawl, the snakefolk occupant is clasps in irons, bagged, and put into a truck, to be taken to the S.I.A (Swamp Intelligence Agency). Here the snakefolk begins being questioned on why he is spreading propaganda.

Action 1:
The great Barron of deinsakne, in an attempt to decrease the damage done to his subjects introduces enforced regulations on lead and other radiation protection products which can be used to surround the inner cores of civilians in order to minimize radiation exposure. These regulations give him a local and expressly temporary monopoly on such products so that he can control the price so that disaster price gouging does not ruin his economy.
Action 2:
Others embrace the chaos. By using the same field which allows for interfacing with electronics the radioactive particles can be redirected in order to improve the efficiency of their personal batteries. Though this requires radiation to essentially enter the mindform thus meaning that the subject will have to reject radiation protection.

Action 3 and 4
>finish researching living ink (magic ink made out of microscopic moss) computing devices
Some called it a clever way to distract people from the radioactive fires mobilization, for others, it was necessary balance. It was decided to finish the researches on the new computing devices.
A lot of work was done, with some big pieces of software written, and clever ways were found to build the devices cheap and easily. So cheap indeed that anyone with some paper, some living ink, and a lot of skills in incantations and logic could write a computing device at home.
And that is because a living ink computing device is essentially a book, with self modifyng spells wrote extremelly small. The "screen" can be simple piece of paper connected to the rest of the device, and its interface is controlled by plant magic, which is faster and more precise than a keyboard and a mouse. I does require a constant supply of manasap, that can be porvided by small tanks integrated to the device, or manasap lines. There is all kind of devices, some are very poratble and no very powerful, and are meant to take and memorize a lot of pictures or text, other can be integrated into various animated wood mecanism to get a more fine programming, others are basically laptops or desktop computers, and some are big supercalculators. The power (and power consumption) of the devices is mostly limited by the total area of the pages, that is number of pages and size of the pages. The code is currently written as small as individual letters can be differenciate from each other, using standart paper and standart living ink. Possible amelioration includes all ways to write really small, including better language compressing algorythms, and alterations of the spell programming language, the ink, and the paper.

>Setlovia
The satellite array is bolstered further with a second set of launches aimed at bringing internet to the icy lands. Now, satellite internet speeds are comparable with broadband across the nation.
The results of the coordinated mockery campaigns are mixed at best. While it does succeed in limiting some of the influence of the non-believers and peeling off some of the less committed members, the persecution seems to cause others to double down, clinging even more strongly to their position.
According to the homeless man, he gets his supply from Setlovian dealers. He has little idea where the drug comes from beyond there. Further investigation reveals that the dealers seem to receive the stuff from Sandrat traders, who smuggle the stuff in over Setlovia’s porous southern border.
By mimicking the swoops and gestures of the traditional Setlovian incantation system with coal and brand, Nikhil is able to draw out a few crude diagrams on the skin of Andrei. As the acolyte flexes, the brandings flicker as though bathed in firelight, and from his hand a thin stream of fire jets out. The idea worked! Though the exact mechanism is unknown and the fire brands are quite crude and painful. Surely there’s a better system?

>>4233232
>The Graenian Federation
As survival supplies fly off shelves across the world, the Graenian Federation finds it harder than expected to fully outfit each bunker with the inventory required. Certain products like air filters and masks are nearly impossible to find, every scrap of inventory already bound for the southern regions. Still, other areas find progress, and each bunker is filled with basic necessities and outfitted with utilities.
Hydroponics are an interesting puzzle, to say the least. Greens like lettuce are mastered almost immediately, with herb and fruiting cultivars close behind. But staple crops like corn, wheat, potatoes, and rice remain elusive for now. And there’s the question of light. For now at least, the experiments use high-wattage fluorescent bulbs or greenhouses. But if the hydroponics are intended to be used in the bunkers underground, systems must be devised that are both simple, resilient, and independent of external power. Clearly, more study is needed before hydroponics can begin to feed the nation.
>>
The centripetal solution itself is fairly simple in and of itself. The attitude thrusters of current spacecraft, used normally to prevent tumbling, can easily induce a spin. The bigger issue, though, is putting something large enough to use it into orbit. There are two main reasons that this is so. First, the larger the system, the easier it is to generate large amounts of force. Crafts like the current passenger module would have to spin at ludicrous rates to achieve the same effect. Second, larger crafts generate less gravity differential, the presence of which would produce problems of its own. A craft that could produce Tarnlike gravity needs to be larger than a football field. But something that large has never been put into space before. It would require all the effort currently put into the space program, and then some. Thankfully, with public approval of space exploration high, it shouldn’t be too hard to sell increased space investment.
Unfortunately, the Federation lacks the plant-molding skills of the Tawar Federation, so for now plant-based oxygen purification remains out of reach. In its place comes electrolysis systems, which break down water to produce oxygen and hydrogen. The two gases are separated using liquefaction, and the oxygen is diverted to the crew while the hydrogen is stored or vented depending on need.
(Disaster) It was meant to be a routine flight. Pop up to orbit, run a few experiments, come back down to earth. Simple as that. But something went wrong during the launch procedure. The pilot had only a moment to yell a warning before the whole ship went up into a conflagration. Watching the flames, the flight director said the words no mission control wants to hear.
“Lock the doors.”

>Eisenkrone-Helderezee Empire
The EH soldiers huddle around campfires across the battlefield, their frosted breath mingling with flakes of frosted snow. The gambit had worked, to an extent at least. The flank had taken the enemy totally by surprise and the Reich’s navy tore apart the Vaalian’s pathetic navy with ease. The landing was a similar success, the army establishing a beachhead with high but acceptable casualties. That was the last success before things went FUBAR. Word came in from higher up that the Vaalians had called a ceasefire, that they were to hold the beachhead but not advance any further. They had bunkered down for the long haul, and that's when the problems started. The mild weather that had made the operation possible in the first place had long since passed, replaced by freezing temperatures and near-constant snowfall. The constantly shifting ice floes made icebreaker resupplies impractical, leaving the force dependent on a caravan of helicopters to stay afloat. Now, even those have stopped as the conditions deteriorate even further. Stuck in the middle, the soldiers can neither retreat nor advance. All they can do is pray that the Reich makes a decision quickly.
>>
With the broadcast towers built in all the major cities national dispatches can be broadcast across the sea, to the Graenian Federation and beyond. One such broadcast is coverage of the elections in the Reich.
“I’m standing outside of the People’s Party headquarters in Vanderwaalsdik, where the atmosphere here can only be described as funereal. For the first time in Reich history, a party other than the two majors have pulled off a victory. The Copperheads, a fringe third party focused on isolationism and protectionism has pulled off an absolutely stunning sweep, winning a full 40% in the house. The party ran on a platform of winding down the nation’s external commitments, including the war on Vaalie. Now, they have the numbers and the mandate to do exactly that. It’s not clear what the future holds, but one thing is certain: there are going to be a lot of changes in Hanashi next turn. For EHTV, I’m Sarah Lerner.”

>>4234165
>>4241984
>Snorting Swamps
Splitting their attention and resources between two projects, the Jungie’s aren’t able to complete either to their full satisfaction. Two broadcast stations are completed, yes, but they lack the facilities needed to reach their full range. Still, the stations are functional and begin receiving signals quickly.
Recognizing a business opportunity when they see one, a few enterprising Jungies travel down to the western deserts and set up a mining operation in the western desert. There, a particular sort of caliche rock is mined, ground up and sent north to be refined into iodine and nitrates. It’s not the most efficient system, but it’s good enough to slake the Jungies demand for the crucial substance, and even some extra for export.
The rehab clinics are filled with Sandrats and Setlovians alike. Most of the addicts are alcoholics, but a significant minority of them are also Blue Heaven addicts. It's this last group that is the hardest to care for. The drug comes with a vicious withdrawal, one that ravages the body and soul alike. In the first weeks of the clinics operation, twenty are lost to suicide and another ten to organ failure. It's a tragedy, but the clinic’s mission must carry on.
Certain patterns begin to become apparent as the Internet Clan takes stock of their data. First, the IPs used by the agitators correspond to common VPN services in Setlovia. From this, the agents can surmise that whoever is running this campaign does not have ties to Setlovia itself. It’s a slight deduction, but an important one: now the Jungies can work with the Setlovian government with confidence.
>>
>Sandtrap Diplo
Something’s not right in Sandtrap City. All around them, the Jungies feel it. The Sandrats were never the most trusting lot, but their current behavior is downright hostile. Shopkeepers slam their stores closed in their faces, rats cross the street and make warding gestures as they pass by, and a few even have the temerity to show their soles at passerby(a great insult in Sandtrap City). Those who do deal with the boars do so only behind closed doors, constantly looking behind their back as if they expect to find a dagger buried there any moment.
After just a few tries, the miners send word to the capitol that the original plan of hiring Sandrats to work the mine is untenable. Every candidate they find is strung out on drugs, unfit even for the simplest of tasks. It cuts into profits, but the miners are forced to transport Jungies all the way south to do the hard labor needed to mine the hard caliche.

>Tawar Federation
A breakthrough is found using a modified line of green peas. The plants, which normally use nodules to capture beneficial bacteria, can be coaxed into doing the same for radioactive materials, concentrating them into their peapods and sparing the rest of the plant. The cost of this, however, is that the peas can’t naturally reproduce, requiring repeated rounds of grafting to be propagated. Still, it's a solution, one that brings some relief to the Tawarian government.
The living ink computers finally bring the Tawarians up to par in the computing arena with their machine-based counterparts. Their system, though unique, has many interesting similarities to inorganic computers, ones that allow the Federation’s Living Books to be compatible with the broader internet. At least they won’t have to worry about that headache.

>>4235765
>Soviet Republic of Ingashe
It’s an arrangement lampooned on many a late night talk show, the icons of communism working together with literal capitalist pigs. But regardless of what the media thinks, the trade is a smart one, and soon both the Hanashi broadcast facility and Porcipolis thorium reactor are humming along nicely.
A similar reactor is constructed for the snakefolk. Strange, those people. They insisted on transporting the Ingashe workers back and forth themselves, bringing all food and materials to the site themselves. Odd. Still, the work is done, and now the Ingashe can take their own look inside the ship.
>>
The craft is many stories tall, and seems to reach as deep into the earth as it does the sky. As the Ingashe verture downwards, they find that most of the technology has been torn out, whether by snakefolk or by the ships previous habitats. At times, the warren of tunnels abruptly expand into enormous caverns, traverable only with rope and rappel. As the group reaches unexplored territory, the flat metal walls are replaced by row upon row of glass tanks. Most lie shattered, their contents having long since decomposed into stinking flesh and bones. But a single tank remains sealed, it’s surface freezing cold to the touch. With great caution and care, the expeditioners bring it back up to the surface.

>Kabal of Gehenna
The destabilization efforts of the Kabal are quite successful, propelling a heretofore little-known party to power. The Copperheads are a relatively new player on the Reich’s political scene, prioritizing isolationism and protectionism over all else. Best of all, a significant minority of them are possessed pawns of the Kabal, giving the demons an influential foothold in the Reich’s parliament. (>>4233315) The demon’s analysts are also hopeful that if the Reich pushes any further, they’ll experience serious social unrest. Overall, not too bad of an outcome.
The Colosseum is a welcome distraction to the common demons of Psaneii, who have grown quite agitated as the government has neglected internal affairs. Still, they are more unhappy than happy. They feel that they are being ignored in favor of foreign-based demons, who are given constant assurances of new hosts and attention from the government. The demons at home are just as critical as those away, why don’t they get the same pampering?
>Your people demand safety nets!

>Colony Diplo
The Colonist cocks its head. Clearly, it's not used to charity. After a moment, it responds:
“The offer is kind, and we accept. Our technology is our own, but we will show you the great beast.”
The massive thing is constructed of layer upon layer of dead flesh, held together by some strange magic. It lifts its huge head, opening an insectile compound eye as the demonic envoy approaches.
“This is a hauler. We use it to take things from place to place. Very useful for trade. We’ll build another for you shortly.”
>Sandrat Diplo
The message is received and distributed. The Jungies will not be harmed(even the cultists are smarter than that) but assisting them will be forbidden, a dictate that will be enforced with blade if necessary.
The Kabal and Sandrats don’t like each other, but they do understand the benefits of cooperation. Soon, a trade route forms between the two cities, sending Blue Heaven one way and Sandrat pottery the other.

>Dvesalians
The fleeing settlers set up gold panning operations along the river. A profession that requires little in the way of technology or skill, it provides enough money for most to at least scrape along.
The plants crossbreed readily with some plants, but not with the key crops that form the core of Dvesalia’s agriculture. Dvesalian diplomats, however, report that similar research is being carried out by the Tawar Federation(>>4234716). Perhaps combining efforts would result in success?
The basic lead protections are sufficient to protect the civilians’ core personalities, but they do little to protect the extremities. Those exposed radiation can gradually lose sensation and control of their limbs as the radiation strips away their soulons. Still, it's better than the potential retardation, or worse, locked in syndrome that those without protection can suffer.
“Riding the wave” is a dangerous sport, to put it lightly. By directing a stream of radiation through their cores, the Dvesalians can temporarily juice their own cores, experiencing significant boosts in strength, speed, and stamina for a short while. But even a millimeter off, and the stream bleaches the most delicate parts of the soul, leaving a shattered corpse behind.

-----END OF TURN NINE------
GLOBAL DISASTER UPDATE: TURN 3
The Snakefolk, Tawar, and Ingashe air forces commence the largest firefighting operation in Tarnian history. At all hours of day and night, bombers fill the skies, dropping tens of thousands of pounds of sand on the burning fire. The brave pilots within work themselves to exhaustion to ensure that the great project continues, often taking multiple times the safe dosage of radiation to ensure that the mission is complete. Thanks to their sacrifice, the nations finally begin to make progress. The surface fires are beaten back and eventually extinguished, nearly halving the amount of radiation in the skies. Still, the job isn’t over yet. Under the ground, fires still rage, belching out smoke and radiation, albeit at a slower rate. And the ground itself is deeply contaminated, in a way that will take years if not decades to fix.
The wind is east. The weather is clear

In the Empire, with talks underway, and the traditional Eisenkrone and Helderezee parties infrastructure plan being purely for the benefit of the nation and having done quite a bit for the empire already in the telecommunication sector. The further parts of the plan were a large proper international airport for all cities and proper ports for all coastal cities. The start of the air and sea portion of this project would be the capital Vanderwaalsdijk, starting with that which Helderezee was most famous for in the modern age, the air. The Airport that existed a decent distance north of Vanderwaalsdijk, the Merendaalbant Romke Vanbergen Airport, named after the test pilot who was first person to break the sound barrier and later was one of the first astronauts in the Koninklijke Luchtvaart en Ruimtevaart Administratie/Königlich Luftfahrt und Luft- und Raumfahrt Verwaltung and was the first of them to get into space. Regardless, the airport was regional and limiting. By expanding it with major investment more people from different parts of the empire could swiftly arrive at the capital, and even those from abroad. Additionally, this would mean that more flights could open up and more jobs in the aviation sector would open up, especially as the program continued and more cities had more than just small regional airports.

Meanwhile, partially as a result of the major telecommunications effort done in the Empire, a new computer operating system, Lücke, would be released by Einsamreuth-Betriebssysteme, additionally this would come with a new computer system, which would have innovations in processing power and storage. This would be the defining moment where the people of Eisenkrone, Helderezee and Veloxflumine finally truly join the internet, as computers would become an occasional sight in the average household, not just in business, as even if they didn't have the most modern computer, the older ones were now cheaper due to being surpassed. And with the internet starting to grow as a useful thing for the average person, either for entertainment, or using the early websites of a few companies which started to utilize the internet for shipping or food delivery purposes. Regardless, the internet was going to shift a fair bit. No longer would it be dominated by Setlovians at any rate.

>Action One. Construct an airport north of Vanderwaalsdijk, the Merendaalbant Romke Vanbergen Airport.

>Action Two. Upgrade personal computers.

The soldiers at the moment, until the weather let up, would have to hope that the peace talks go well. Otherwise, should things go poorly in the talks, they are to disperse and act in guerrilla warfare in the enemys back line, taking what supplies they can in raids. For even if they ran out of food, they still had plenty of bullets and guns to capture convoys of trucks headed to the front line. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that though.

> Action 1
We have been sitting on Dvesilian technology and research papers for way too long. Especially because of useful they are!

It's time for the Demons to adopt Dvesilian technology. The research papers are all explored and Soulon types classfied:
1. Alive
2. Dead +Ghost?
3. In a Dvesilian
4. Demonposessed
Tests indeed show the electrical conductivity of Souls and binding electrons to Soulons and research steadily progresses. Without any Soulon-rich coal deposits a few of our livestock are killed to create 2-3 experimental Dvesilians on the stolen Equipment, after those basic tests are done the machines are taken apart to examine every little part of them. Then we check the Soulon transfer machine swapping around the Souls of the Dvesilians we created. Checking the hypothesis if truly none can be added unless replacing lost ones, seems true. Those machines too are taken apart so we can gain a deeper understanding of how they work. As time flies the research papers, our own experiments and reverseengineering would let us slowly gain a propper understanding of Dvesilian technology. One we might use in the future to increase our Soul manipulation abilities and maybe create a way to counter divine magic. For now all we can do with said technology is making the occasional Dvesilian for a demon which wishes to try out possessing a Dvesilian, we are far from being able to do that on an industrial scale though, unlike the much easier to keep fleshy races.

> Action 2: Squeeze out the Soul like Lemonjuice
The major problem with possessions and sacrificial rituals was ghosts and small inefficiencies. Those fucking pests. If a good person goes to heaven the evil part of their soul often stays behind while if evil corrupted people to go hell good parts of their Soul often stay behind. Sometimes up to 20% letting them retain a semblance of sentience. Most are just annoying though: "No Johanna, you are not missing your kids. You went to hell and we sent them in right after you."
Other ghosts maybe instinctually trying to piece themselves together often attempt to steal manasap. ENOUGH WITH THAT! Dvesilian technology let's us squeeze out Dead Soulons to the last drop. We will thus increase efficiency of our farms giving the lower classes a safety net and good access to souls for consumption. Let's hope reducing the number of pests (ghosts) will also help calm them down!

TL;DR: Use Dvesilian technology to extract Souls more efficiently from sacrificed subjects increasing farm efficiency and creating a safety net for the lower class by creating a surplus of Soulons to consume. +reduce Ghost problem

The Snakefolk Commune would be delighted to hear the two nations managed to pick up contact. It is certain that Tropios couldn't shut up about how great of friends we are. let's see if we can get our food into the door. Do the Kopakonen maybe wish for a Flame of Life power plant? Are they worried about the Empire? Maybe they wish to send volunteers to Vaalie?

> Diplo Topios
A Snakefolk Diplomat greatly thanks the Dictator for the virtuous position of his nation and the continuous successes it brings them. The founding of New Tropios on the ruins of the now gone Siderio is a momentous occasion and cements the victory of the Tropians; especially as the Jungies themselves seem to be slowly getting sick of the Siderian terrorists they took in! The Tropians are deeply thanked for planning to send volunteers to Vaalie and are reminded of how dire the situation really is. Additionally they are asked if they retrieved any Siderian technology while building New Tropios.

As well as information we have on it (give them the information we learned on Radiation from the Ingashe). More so we will throw in a little bit extra. We'll give you information which should let you make the next beast even grander than it is and in exchange you will make it grander and give it to us. > Sandrat Diplo
Establishing Trade between the Sandrats and Colony might not have been the best idea in the world after all... with all the drug trade going on...

In fact the development is rather worrying especially as the Sandrats who get addicted seem to be traveling to the Jungies for help... well. Nothing that can be done about that. Let's use the teaching of the Cult of Greed to try to convince them Drugs are wasted by taking and much more money can be made by selling them. "Don't smoke, just sell.". Maybe this catchy slogan will help the Sandrats stay clean and instead will help them spread the Drug to other nations.

The Empire didn't have plans on keeping the land after the war, as such this and the withdrawal of the armed forces would be swiftly agreed upon. A Demilitarized zone also would be agreed to, though they'd advise an exception to the eastern most portions, due to the presence of the barbarian raiders that were still there, still they would be willing to debate this further. Lastly, the public statement would be agree'd upon by all parties except the Eisenkrone Royalist Party(Also known as simply the Eisenkrone Party), which desired the possibility of peacefully uniting Nordisenmåte into the empire due to the close family ties between the Kaiser of Eisenkrone and the Dronning of Nordisenmåte, but given the situation and the fact that Helderezee Statist Party(Similarly also known simply as the Helderezee Party) and the Coperheads didn't care about that, this too would be agreed upon. >Eisenkrone - Helderzee Empire / Vaalië Peace Talks

It was lucky that the small Gwardorship airport had to be hastilly extended, and supplied with fuel to able to aid in the fight against the radioactive fires. Because that means it could better receive foreign aircrafts and they were numerous. There was the Vaalië delegation, the EHE delegation, the Snorting Swamps delegation, and their equipment to create a temporary broadcasting station in Gwadorship, and various newsteams delegations.

The whole event was securised by the Tawarian Army.

All the guests were lodged in comfortable hotels at the center of the city, and were given some useful leaflets to make their stay less confusing.
Uniquely among other Tarnian capital cities, Gwadorship is as much a forest as it is a city. Its tall buildings have foliage at the top and have slightly organic shapes, and the plant-based technology can be confusing at first for people who are not used to it.
The debates would be done, in accordance with the wish of the guests, in the Tawarian way : with a lot of transparency.
On the day of the talks, the guest were transported to an impressive amphitheater, with its domed ceiling looking like gigantic roots, as if the amphitheater was built under a gigantic tree.
This room is the Delegates Room, where local councils send delegates to discuss the affairs the must be adressed at the national level. Today, it is buzzing with activity, as various news crews install cameras, micros and lighting, for the debates to be broadcasted.
The talks are officially declared open.
Each side is asked to formally introduce their demands, for all to hear.
>>
>>4243579
The EHE wants :
>Vaalië to have government reforms to have a proper democracy
>its people to have a referendum on what they want to do with the 'Dynasty of Tyrants' after said democracy is established
>the funds from the kings of Vaalië private accounts to be used as reparations to te people of Veloxflumine and Vaalië for the war, and the crimes of the dynasty
> all military plans from Vaalië during and before the war to be made public
>They don't ask for any land

Vaalië wants :
>The retreat of the EH army and full repatriation of Vaalian lands
>Establishment of a buffer DMZ between the two nations
>A public statement from the Reich vowing to cease all anschluss efforts in the north

The Tawar Federation was asked its neutral opinion on these demands. Here it is.
>We are pleased that both nations agrees on the question of land. All Vaalië territory should be returned to them.
>We support the desire of democracy of the Empire. However, true democracy is the will of the people, not that of a foreign nation.
We think that democracy in Vaalië, the future of its Kings, and of the Kings funds, should be decided by referendum by the people of Vaalië.
>We support the empire about military plans made public.
However we think that it should only concerns the plans concerning the northern territories and the Empire, and we wish for the Empire military plans to be made public too, as balance would ease peace.
>We support a buffer DMZ. However we fear that ot might entrench the two nations and deepen tensions, so we also recommend trade and culatural exchange programs. We think the DMZ should be only temporary, depending on the raltions between the two nations.
>We think should do a public statements, not about stopping Anschluss effort in the north but stopping it with military means. All northern expension of the Reich should happen only if the people there (consulted with a referendum) and the local government wishes for it.
>>
>>4243582
The Vaalians fall in strongly behind the Tawarian proposals, save for one. They strongly reject the idea of a referendum, feeling that it would be the equivalent of forced regime change by the Reich. The rest is strongly adopted by the Vaalians as a compromise solution.
>>
>>4243841

The Empire would state that they didn't really want Vaalië to be forced to have a referendum on what to do with their ruling dynasty. They simply stated to the Tawar that, being that Vaalië would become a democracy, the people would be allowed to call one if they desired. Other than this, the Empire would be happy to hear that the rest would be considered and adopted by the Kingdom of Vaalië. It seemed things were going smoothly, in the Empire's eyes at least.
>>
>>4243582
>>4243841
>>4243874
It seems that the last point of contention is about the Vaalië regime.
>Is the Empire okay too with the Tawarian proposals ?
The Vaalians are against a referendum to determine the fate of the regime.

>Are the Vaalians against any transition toward democracy ?
>Does the Empire wishes to push for a transition towards democracy ?
>>
>>4243911
The Vaalians are against any transition to a democracy.

>>4243911

The Empire would naturally view that the democratization of Vaalië was of key importance, not only so the people of Vaalië could actually live life with freedom, but also of the utmost importance to a lasting peace in the region, as Vaalië struck the Empire in a moment of weakness and their king clearly views the Empires existence as a threat to their power. Why would they not do so again if given the chance and belief of victory? Regardless, the Empire accepted the Tawarian proposals, in fact the Empire already had plans to release everything public once the war was over and would release the few documents of the plans to make things more transparent public now. However obviously, the actual release of the plans, military intelligence, positioning of forces and timeline of events would wait until the war actually was over for the obvious reason that should the talks fall apart over democratization, or anything else for that matter, Vaalië and their ally the Snakefolk Republic could use the information made public against the Empire and its people.

In this situation it might be best to offer a finer so they won't be able to take the whole hand. Maybe propose a compromise an "autocratic" system. This Blue Heaven is something serious, the rehab facilities are expanded, and exhausted, as addicts from Sandrat City are shipped back for rehabilitation, coping with living life 'after touching Heaven', the Jungies religious beliefs are largely noncommittal, believing in a Supreme Truth, a divine adversary and protector. Yet the practice of praying to "the Swamp God" -"O Bog" is used frequently in Jungie tongue as a figure of speech. Yet this minor belief finds new followers in the weary begotten souls.

The operations in Sandrat city must be protected and continued. Siderian Wall platoons are sent to protdct Jungie Work crews, and operate work offices for Sandrats seeking to leave the office. Contraband is harshly controlled at the boats back to the swamps, soldier's throwing rats into bags and into the water to drown should they try to bring Blue Heaven aboard.

>Reich Negotiations
The Jungie negotiators squeal greatly at one term for the peace. They argue that the Reich's King should face the punishment for his sins, and be removed from power, and be exiled to a nation where he can be kept watch on and has no real power, namely the Snorting Swamps. Secondly, let not the sins of the father fall upon the son, the dynasty of the Reich is rich and strong, and let it's future leader be the young son taught young enough to not repeat his father's mistakes.

What an interesting discovery! The power to control fire at nothing more than one's will. Of course, our method of application excludes our high priest and priestess. Though they have gone on record saying that they do not mind, so long as they can continue to learn the ways of deikan magic, even if they must resort to external means. However, Nikhil noticed an issue while applying the runes. The concentration needed was far too high, as he admits to making multiple mistakes in the process. Nikhil has commissioned the temple's ironworker to make him a special branding iron, in the shape of the newly created fire rune. We'll have to see if the iron is more effective than the method Mira created.

Why does the Commissioner want them in? Well, I heard, now this is just a rumor, that most of them are in on the same gig. I'm not sure what it is, but I'd love to find out tonight. If it was all-out war, they wouldn't have us going in. Something like spec-ops, over our basic peacekeeping strategy. Anyway, I'll be asking the others if they've had any run-ins with sand rats throughout the day. Here's hoping I get one first."

The empire see's democratization as key to peace of the region is that the people of Vaalië will most certainly not desire war again due to what had happened in the war, and with the peace deal not taking land and giving the people freedom, they believe it would further make the people of Vaalië adverse to war. Their current king however, is a different story. As stated before from the Empires point of view, their king views the empire as a threat to his power and that wont change, as such, without democracy they believe this won't be a peace treaty, instead just an armistice for twenty years. As for other means of keeping peace, nothing short of constantly being in a strong position and never showing a moment of weakness, something impractical for many reasons, including the barbarians to the north east that Vaalië used to soften up the forces of the empire initially.

The Vanbergen Airport becomes a global hub for air travel, serving as an important waystation for international travelers before they board connecting flights to the rest of the Reich. International travel, both in and out of the Empire, increases significantly.
Citizens of the Reich connect to the internet in a unique way. Rather than satellite internet or decentralized router based systems, the Reich employs extremely sensitive and powerful centralized broadcast stations that serve large areas of people from a single point. It’s an unconventional method, but certainly effective.

>Kabal of Gehenna
Research on the soulon reveals that the particle has two states in this dimension, up(alive) or down(dead). Demons represent a third state which could be called “sideways” This is what allows them to possess bodies without displacing the host. A few prototype Dvesalians are produced, but the process is difficult and the results are, well, less sentient than expected.
On the other hand, using the technology to remove shards of souls yields far better results. By running raw materials like flesh or manasap through soulon detectors, the parts still holding a residual soul can be identified, excised, and given to the lower class. The resulting increase in manasap and farm yields are taken very well by the poorer demons.
>Kopakonen Diplo
The Kapakonen have indeed heard good things about the Snakefolk, though it has been balanced somewhat by the poor coverage of them coming from the Reich. They aren’t opposed to the idea of a power plant, but are doubtful it will work underwater. The efforts of the Graenians to improve their spacecraft pays off in spades, with the production of the new Progress class of spacecraft. These platforms represent a three-fold increase in payload capacity compared to the Unions, from 8,000 kg to 27,000 kg.

The construction will take place over the course of several launches, with modular components being sent into orbit where they will be locked together. Cosmonauts will be rotated out of the station in seasonal intervals. (Essentially the ISS, but with gravity)

With the Merendaalbant Romke Vanbergen Airport, with the airport code of MRB, finally expanded into a international hub capable of landing even the largest of aircraft, it was now time for the other capital in the Empire to get their own expansion to their airport. The Eisenküste Dorothee Vonlackendorf Airport, much like the Merendaalbant Romke Vanbergen Airport, had the name of the province first, followed by being named after someone of historical importance, in this case, named after a famous general best known for their usage of tanks in the great war against the southern barbarians. Regardless, the airport would certainly not reach the size of the Merendaalbant Romke Vanbergen Airport, but it'd certainly be worthy of the title as an international airport. It was only fitting, for even though all cities would get a larger airport, and all would arguably become international airports, due to the nature of said cities, outside of Kronenthron and Vanderwaalsdijk they'd be more regional in nature...

Meanwhile, computing technology would continue to advance in the personal market, as Einsamreuth-Betriebssysteme's rival, Visionaire industrieën, would release their operating system called Koppelingen. This competition, combined with a growing interest in Sci fi, mainly because of the newest game from Artifact games, and the show related to it, has resulted in a larger number of people than ever using computers and further developing the technology. Each day, the space required to get the same amount of drive space and processing power become smaller and smaller and older computers cheaper and cheaper. Additionally, an increased interest in space in the Empire takes some hold, a part of it being wonder and awe at the fact that when the Empire first stepped on the moon, they used massive computers that, in modern times, would only be half that of the average modern PC if not even less.

"We are more than aware of the space exploration programs Greania is conducting, Comrade. We are happy to assist you in achieving an interstellar presence Comrades, but do not understand why you would require such a thing. Maybe it is the same shortsightedness that we displayed when it came to studying about radioactivity, but what is the purpose of having a presence in space? For the Greanians it's ethno-nationalist propaganda and the greed for resources located in space. It's merely a continuation of colonialist imperialist thought for them. What do the working people of Ingashe and Snakefolk Commune have to gain from a presence in space?

Currently our understanding of space travel is limited as we did not have much interest in space beyond sending up a few satellites. Still we have a few useful things to offer.

1. Fire Enchantments - while fire magic itself won't be able to provide enough thrust to power a rocket it can be rather useful as a supplementary source of thrust. We use it for our fighter planes after all. We propose adding supplementary flame enchantment engines to the rocket to reduce the amount of fuel needed to take along. (fire magic is enchanted into metal thus adds no extra weight). A drawback is the requirement of a trained sentient being to control the output of the fire magic. As such it can only be used in manned missions.

2. "Maximum Power" it is technology learned from the Tropians. It's the school of optimization. By utilizing Maximum Power we can optimize the performance of engines in the rocket, possibly further saving up on fuel usage and getting out more power out of the engines.

And of course we will also hand over any useful research we find in our own investigation of the Space Ship.

> Action 1: The Goddamn Space Ship
While it is first and foremost an multidimensional vessel from that the Colonists tried to teleport into a stable orbit arround the Sun it is an obvious conclusion that the ship must be capable of Space Flight. Otherwise how would they get down to Tarnia and back to their ship up for trade? There needs to be something there. If they crash-landed it's most logical that they used the engines to snow their fall... meaning they must be at the very bottom of the Space Ship... so in solidarity with our allies the Ingashe we look for a way to get to the bottom of the Space Ship and look for engine-like parts there. Let's hope after the impact any part of said engines is still intact.

By having a parliamentarian set up the service we can be sure it has a good reputation from the get-go additionally we will use our influence to set up Servers in Sandtrap City, Tropios, New Tropios, Wumpeltown and Greania. The service is to be promoted for use by everyone in the world for a relatively low prize. The more people use it the harder it will be to track the Kabal's propaganda agents and and Demons who wish to use it for fun.

>Research: reinventing radio
Currently, our radio capabilities are abysmal. Plant machines capable of producing or receiving radio waves are ridiculously expensive to produce, because of a 90% rate of failure. As a result, most nations have learned that mail is more reliable than radio to reach us, and outside of niche short-range applications, radio is virtually unused, and replaced with sophisticated drone homing pigeons.
But our team and pilots used Ingashe and EHE radio devices massivelly during the radioactive fires teamwork, and now they demand change.
Our researchers face a dilemma. It would be trivial to recreate radio using oscillating long-range spells, but we need our system to be compatible with the rest of the world, at least for non encrypted application.
So researchers begin by looking how to better induce electrical current, and direct them, in plants. Of course, they now that synapses uses electrical currents, so generating electricity in plants should not be that hard.

Action 2 :

Anyone who brings in a dead sandrat, killed by their hands, will be detained and charged with murder. Captured sandrats will be deported back to their home country.
The local police forces will also be doing periodical searches, and have received warrants from the government in order to do so. If homeowners feel that anyone on the police force has violated their home, then they will report to their local court house to file a complaint against the officer, which will remain on their record until an appeal, on the officer's behalf, is approved.
There is no reward for filing a complaint about an officer. Those who file false complaints will be issued a 500 Setlovian Ngultrum fine for both wasting the time of our busy police force, and their own false accusations.

No major dveslian action is taken in response, though rifts have formed in public opinion on the war due to contradictory information which has been presented.
Although the baron of lilismaja has sent out observers in order to show the fighting to the public through broadcasts. Sending a message to all sides involved that any attempts to "disrupt the free flow of information" will be met with backlash for any damage to both employees and property.

Action 1:
The baron of lilismaja has had little to do ever since the tesla tech and space ship deal fell through. Thus he looks to the battlegrounds of the south, sending out flying dvesilians equiped for slow paced long distance flight, sending out a constant signal which will stop combatants from firing upon them.
Publically this is just a ploy by the barron to obtain footage of the battlegrounds from a bird's eye view to be broadcasted around a week after being captured so that both sides dont get miffed.
Such footage can catch a fair price especially due to the variety of interesting weapons both sides utilize.
Privately however some of the "drones" land in areas where fighting was but is no more, scavenging equipment and scanning parts from both sides in order to understand and perhaps reverse engineer their technology.
Action 2:
Develop the radio-relational plants with the tawar.

>The Graenian Federation
With the assistance of the Progress platforms, assembly of the space station is quickly completed. The first shift of astronauts remained in space for roughly six months, before swapping control to the next set. The Federation’s only failure comes with the implementation of the artificial gravity generation system. The gravity differential from head to toe proves to cause sustained nausea, so the station’s spinning is halted for now. Even this setback proves to be an invaluable opportunity however, as the Station becomes an invaluable resource in investigating the effects of low gravity on the body.
The space games prove to be an enormous hit, setting off a domino chain of similar media, all focused on space and science fiction. Most are copycat trash but still are gobbled up by the masses, for the people of Graenia are entirely taken by space travel.

>Soviet Republic of Ingashe
As the expeditionary crews venture deeper into the shuttle, they begin to come across enormous fields of blue-leafed plants, long dead from age and neglect. Their purpose is indecipherable until the crew happens upon one that has just barely clung to live. It seems that the Colonists used a biological life support system, using these plants to remove carbon dioxide and add oxygen to the atmosphere. The living sample and a few seeds are taken back to the surface for further study.
Continued work of the spider tanks results in the first viable prototype, lovingly referred to as the Daddy Longlegs. Its eponymous limbs allow it to more easily find purchase in the absence of more advanced pathfinding software. While the technology isn’t battle ready yet, the Republic’s comrade-scientists assure their superiors that it will be with just a little more effort.

>Kabal of Gehenna
As the expeditionary team approaches the bottom of the spaceship, the last remaining motes of light are filtered out, leaving the group in a sea of impenetrable darkness. They navigate by use of chemical glow-lights and lanterns, forced to make camp whenever they run out of juice. Their dedication is rewarded when one member happens upon the nacelle of an attitude thruster. Though only a peripheral engine, used to maintain the craft’s orientation and assist with fine movements, the nacelle alone is powerful enough to class among the mightiest of modern rockets. The team brings it up for further study.
The VPN, being the first of its kind to have an official government backing, takes off mightily, being used by all sorts of paranoiacs, rebels, and the like. Hidden safely by the volume of their innocuous traffic, demons run amok, sowing chaos across the world.

>Tropios Diplo
The refugees turn out to be hiding one diamond among the rough, an elderly statesmen who worked in the shipyards as a youth. He was unwilling to talk, of course, but all that changed once a demon was forced inside of him. Nestled deep within his memories is an old Sideran doctrine of submarine warfare. The Siderans would use the very movement of their crafts to hide their presence, building their subs so that the rush of water over their hulls erases any detection by passive sonar. They would use that stealth to dip behind enemy lines, resurfacing to wreak havoc before disappearing once more into the inky depths.

>Kopakonen Diplo
The Snakefolk aren’t wrong. The Kopakonen agree to have a power plant placed on a suitable rock, though they do request that ample funds for replacement parts are provided.

>Sandrat Diplo
The Sandrats achieve their greatest success in Aeregatta, where the drug finds many users among the daredevil and acrobatic sorts. In Wumpeltown, they amass a slight following, but rapid crackdowns by the authorities quash drug deals, for now at least. The Rats have even less luck in Okarafor, where they are driven away from the city gates by a hail of magenta bolt-fire.

The colonists introduce a new product to their neighbors. Magenta power crystals, which emit a large burst of energy when shattered.

The religious aspects of doctoring contribute to a wider rise of piety across the Snorting Swamps. Religious holidays begin to take a larger role in Jungie society, improving social bonds within communities.
Fighting against quite a bit of grumbling from online forums(those damn trolls have started to worm their way back in again), the Jungie Civil Engineer Corps rebuilds the Sideranian Slums into a proper small town.
>What are some examples of Jungie religious holidays?
>Sandrat Diplo
Rather than calming the situation as hoped, it seems that the movement of the Jungie army into the area has resulted in an escalation of the conflict. Sandrat jihadists begin to lay ambushes for Jungie APCs, luring the commandos within outside before setting upon them with spear and rifle. A few veterans even report that the guns the Sandrats are using are the ones they saw during the evacuation of Tropios.

>Setlovia
Using the runes on non sentient objects causes no particular effect. Further investigation reveals that the known runes require both specific motions and intent on the part of the user to create their magical effects.
The Sandrat deportation is difficult to put it lightly. For one, various civil rights groups throughout Setlovia file injunctions on behalf of innocent Sandrats, ones that aren’t involved at all in the Blue Heaven trade. They argue that the unjust persecution of all Sandrats for the actions of a few is against Setlovian law and ethics. And frankly, they aren’t wrong. A blanket deportation of a whole class of people also rubs many officers the wrong way. Still, the government does note a significant decrease in the amount of Blue Heaven being intercepted at the southern border.

>>4251088
>Dvesilians
The drones bring back a variety of weapons, divided into three groups: Jungie, Sandrat, and Other. The Jungie weapons are fairly standard APCs and assault rifles, nothing that the Dvesalians haven’t seen before. The Sandrats on the other hand, use modified primitive weaponry to do their fighting. Mostly, that consists of spears and arrows that have had their tips replaced with high caliber bullets in order to penetrate body armor. Finally, in the Other category are weapons that the Dvesalians can’t figure out the origins of. They appear to be normal firearms, until one tries to fire them. The bullets fired either have an incendiary effect, or are significantly more powerful. Which effect is activated appears to be determined by a fire select.
The Tawarian radios appear to be a success.

>Vaalie Diplo
The vaalians believe that the monarchy is an essential part of the culture and history of their nation. The King of Vaalie is the heir of an unbroken lineage that stretches into antiquity, one of the oldest in the continent in fact. To shatter that on the behest of another state is unthinkable.
As for the question of further attacks, the Kingdom assures all concerned that their attack was a result of fears caused by the Reich’s invasion of their Southern neighbor, Veloxiflume. The Vaalians had long taken comfort in Veloxiflumes position as a buffer state between them and the Reich. When the Reich had effortlessly taken Veloxiflume, that illusion had been shattered. In their fear, the Kingdom saw no choice but to attack preemptively. However, if a DMZ is set and respected, the Vaalians will once again have the luxury of a buffer between them and the Reich, and won’t attack again.

1. The burgeoning domestic entertainment industry in Graenia is booming, with the previously announced "Homeworld" proving to be both critically acclaimed and adored by fans of the series. It seems that Graenian entertainment will become a staple of the world soon enough, with Graenia's own "Anime" shows coming out in the following months.

2. The best possible thing to have happen to the station was for the gravity to not work while in orbit. By the time the gravity generators are shut down, scientists on the planet are already working on a solution. Parts would be shipped up to the station, and without the forces of actual gravity to effect construction, it would actually be easier to modify and add onto the generators. Perhaps orbital construction is the way of the future of craft design. After all, it's far easier to design and build two different craft; one for space and one for inter-atmospheric travel, then to make one that can do both.

The Demons have stumbled upon something useful themselves when exploring the Space Ship. Something called a Nacelle, it likely was a peripheral engine used to keep the orientation of the ship in 3D space constant, still it seems to just based of it's power one of the mightiest Rocket Engines in the world. The Snakefolk Commune hand over the engine to the Ingashe telling them how applying the doctrine of Maximum Power to it is bound to create a stellar engine superior to even the Greanian Ones. As for the plants the Ingashe found the Snakefolk recommend seeking help among the Tawar, they are friend of both nations and socialists themselves. If anyone can figure out something about plants it's them... but then comes the next point on the agenda.

"Dear Ingashe,
We come to inform you that, together with the Space Ship, there also came aliens. They have formed their own Citystate at the southern Border of the Snakefolk commune, not far from the Grand Crater itself. We wish to inform you about them and give you advice on how to talk to them if you choose too.
The Crashed Space Ship was not only capable of Space Travel, but also travel between dimensions. The race which exited it Call themselves the Colonists and are a race of disgustingly capitalist traders trading rare goods from various dimensions to one another. The race seems to be slaves of capitalism, not understanding the concepts of compassion or charity even treating basic information like a good to be traded. As such it is custom that if you ask them to disclose any information you need to offer information in return. As of now they seem to be limited in what they wish to purchase and sell. They seem only interested in buying meat in all it's forms or exotic animals, while in exchange they can offer Blue Heaven and Magenta Crystals. We strongly recommend you refrain from buying Blue Heaven as it is a powerful drug and instead recommend you buy Magenta Crystals as they seem to be a power source which releases large amounts of energy when shattered. It might be compatible with the retrieved engines. In addition to all that we'd like to point out that as of now the Colonists refused to share any technology with us. They are a very odd bunch and frankly somewhat terrifying as such we advise caution when dealing with them.

With the new Airport finished, the next city to get an airport would be a hard decision, seeing how all three of them had good reasons to revive the next expansion project. However, in the end it would be decided that the small 'airport' if you could even call it that, west of Veloxflumine, would be the one to have the newest expansion. The reason for this was simple. Veloxflumine was a tourist destination for the rest of the empire due to the older works inside the city. Additionally, it was the furthest away out of any city from any of the new major airports that had been constructed. This combined with the fact that the roads to Veloxflumine weren't particularly well maintained or that large of a network to connect it to the rest of the empire would basically solidify the decision. The airport in question would be called the Auxilium Castus Airport. Named after the first leader of Veloxflumine. Of course, it'd also highlight an issue with Veloxflumine that would have to be addressed, the fact it wasn't actually connected to the empire by a proper road network like the other cities, as previously mentioned...

Meanwhile, computers would reach a new level in the Empire. Hundreds of gigabytes of space were available on top end computers, and it was no surprise to hear that Terabytes weren't far off as the competition continued. With the major rise in popularity, many different businesses, be they restaurants starting online delivery services or stores allowing you to order something online and pick it up without the hassle, to even ordering packages to the front door would start to become commonplace on the internet. Additionally, game developers would have a lot more space to work with to make more complex video games. Of course, even now, the full potential of these advanced systems is unknown, but its reasonable to say that one could download an entire genera of games on Cream onto a modern computer, and there'd still be space for more. In fact, with what the Setlovian's have done with the internet in the past seemed to lay the groundwork for a lot of what the Empire has started doing online, and now days almost everyone has a computer of some description...

>Action One. Construct a airport west of Veloxflumine called the Auxilium Castus Airport.

>Action Two. Officially enter a new age of Computing.

After successfully helping the Ingashe and erasing our online activity it is time to Develop a scientific en devour which might revolutionize Demonic invasions forever not just in this world.

> Action 1: ADPD 1/3 Precise Soul manipulation Theory

Thanks to the adoption of Dvesilian technology we have learned precisely what a soul is and how to manipulate it. We now understand what possession is, it's the forceful creation of a 3rd state of the Soul as the Demon enters it. Trough further investigation with Dvesilian devices we learn why and how the ancient Demonic possession-seals discovered trough trial and error work. Said seals induce Soulon wiggling allowing the Soulon to go from a Spin up state into a Spin sideways state much easier. Now the question is how do we use this knowledge. Using Tawar spell-programming principles we alter and optimize and combine existing seals and finally it clicks. Souls can be carried by electricity as much as electricity can be carried trough a soul. In theory it should be possible to connect said seals and induce them trough electric shock directly into a mortal's soul making them a better target. Well this is for now the theory, it will take years to actually develop a method for this.

> Action 2: Kopakonen Powerplant
With the Sealfolk convinced the powerplant is constructed on a relatively large rock peaking out of the permafrost, with a warehouse storing large amounts of replacement parts stored as close to it as possible. Now the Sealies can hook up the electricity to their underwater houses... the question remains though.

Now the question remains... how will they pay us? Obviously the quickest answer is Kopakonen Currency, but what can we buy from the Sealies locally for it? What products and services do they have to offer?

The Jungies have clearly overstepped, The Troops and Jungies quickly mobilize to a command center outside the city, and call for a cease fire with the Jihadis, to sit down and discuss how they are merely trying to help the SandRats. Jungie Call-Booths are placed around the outskirts of the city for SandRats to covertly call for Siderian escort out of the city, from fear of the Jihadis. The Jungies begin offering tickets to the Swamps in exchange for weapons, where SandRats that turn in Tropian armaments are granted seats away from retribution.

>At the table with the Jihadis
"The SandRat way of life can be so much more than drug dealing and the dark spiral of addiction, we merely wish to offer your people honest work in the swamps, a life of opportunity, and education. Those that wish to seek rehabilitation and work need to be freely able to do so without intimidation. We will no longer peddle to you if you do not want our help, but you will not hold back those that wish to leave the sands."

VICTORY! The evil, imperialist and fascist Jungies have relented from international backlash and retreated our of Sandtrap City! To celebrate this occassion the Posessed Sandrats would throw a giant victory celebration for all Sandrats to attend to celebrate their victory! The free food and many attractions is also bound to attract neutral Sandrats inflating the numbers and making the Jungies feel unwelcome.

Exchanging a Tropian weapon for a ticket to Jungiland!? Well guess who has the most access to said weapons? It's obviously the 20% of possessed Sandrats living in Sandtrap city. Being straight up invited is a great opportunity to infiltrate the Jungie state. Make as many possessed Sandrats as possible go and because they are Demons meant to infiltrate they will act like upstanding citizens... at least for the time being.

As for the Jungies and Siderians actually stationed in Sandtrap City? Well... we don't control the power grid for nothing. Cut their electricity. They are foreign invaders it just makes sense. Cut their electricity of all the people sympathizing with them too. If any of the old power-plants if they are still around is choosing to give them electricity, have them burned to the ground.

The Empire would be quick to point out that they still have a monarchy and the noble culture of Eisenkrone while still having a democracy. In fact that Monarchy is part of the reason why there are such strong ties between the Empire and Nordisenmåte. Additionally, they'd also point out the fact that Veloxflumine had no real military presence from the Empire when it was annexed because such was done diplomatically. In fact, the lack of military forces there caused great damage when the barbarians to the north, which attacked the city through Vaalië lands, struck while the Empires forces were focused on taking out the southern barbarians. It was only after this that military forces were brought north in an attempt to fend off the northern barbarians and also protect Veloxflumine from further attacks, during which time Vaalië struck. They would also state that while there were war plans made in case of a war against Vaalië, those existed before Veloxflumine was annexed and made in the event of an attack from Vaalië in some form or another as a plan of defensive actions followed by counter offenses. Of course they were updated and changed after Veloxflumine joined the empire, but the annexation wasn't the cause for making said plans.

This is a great honor to the Snakefolk Commune. After long deliberation the people of the Snakefolk Commune choose the name "Babel 2.0".

An ancient Snakefolk myth tells that once upon a time all races of the world were one race, one faith and spoke one tongue. Trough their unity they gained power and confidence and chose to build a giant tower all the way up to the heaven to be equals with God. As such God struck them down and divided them, making them weak. It was that myth which made the old Snakefolk Kingdom prefer isolationism "After all God wants us to stay separate.". Trough abandoning that faith an embracing Socialism the Snakefolk commune does not need to be held back by silly things like ethnicity, religion and language. As such the name Babel implies unity and the first step in the worldwide workers revolution for if the people once more unite under socialism, they will be able to pierce the heavens.

Action 2:
Many also make their move in the east, claiming the second metal deposit in the name of liberty. Those who have flocked here have sympathies with the libertines (and thus by extension the demons though this is only known to the ringmasters) and thus wish to found a new home in the impenetrable mountains far from the preying eyes of the cities. The lords of lilismaja and teramaja encourage this as they believe they will be far lesser of a threat far away from the cities and the surrounding areas.

The barron of lilismaja begins research into the fiery weaponry, though it is currently scattered and frantic. (my next action will be pertaining to this research and thus there is no need to mention anything as of yet)

A bit of influence is produced with the cults, though much of their people are still out of reach. This influence may be able to be leveraged in the future however...
>>
>>4254813
On the other cults however... A sizable movement of libertines has occurred into the mountains centered around the metal deposits in the region. Still they are trying to infiltrate as the attention of the authorities laxes due to the migration, hopefully most of the unstable ones will be made actually useful in this new settlement instead of causing a huge ruckus.
Now energy has become quite the issue in recent years as the expansion of the dvesilians has almost outpaced its energy production and since these dvesilians are moving somewhere where fuel is quite expensive they will be needing their own source of energy. So once the settlement has grown large enough they will require an ever reactor to be installed so that power can be provided amply, this will give the fringes much more authority which can be used to leverage influence elsewhere.

Using hacking, misinformation and other techniques, we could utilize the power of the internet to influence, cripple and alter our...less friendly neighbors.

2. In terms of space technologies, hydrogen powered engines seem to be a logical step forwards. Theoretically, they'd be exponentially more powerful then traditional engines, be more fuel efficient for in-void travel, and with the primary byproduct of Electrolysis being hydrogen, of which we already choose to store in tanks, so manufacturing fuel is as easy as breathing in and out. One, small issue with their design is that, at least with the initial prototypes, in atmosphere flight would be challenging. Thus, plans are also drawn up for a kind of "Orbiting Shipyard", where prefabricated parts would be assembled into space capable craft. We already know such an effort is possible, as a method like this was already used to construct our current "StarLab" space station.

With the rise of technological computing, and modern computers being the best way to play video games, it was only natural for a true gem to come out of the empire sooner or later. De Fantasie Fabriek: Olivia's Ontsnapping, made by Wetenschapsteam Producties. The game's setting would be twenty years into the future, where a team of excavators found fossilized evidence of a Verstark, Verhal, and other creatures of myth. They would be taken to a special laboratory near Veloxflumine that would use these fossils with special magic and science to create creatures, including a Verstark which would be named Olivia. The project would have been going well until a major incident. The Verstark in question, named Olivia, had extreme intellect in certain area's, such as pyromancy, electricity, nuclear physics, computers and astrology. Yet... She had a distinct lack in what can best be described as common sense. This combined with a noticeably higher strength and magical capability than expected would end in disaster when the director running the facility had a causal conversation with the Verstark's handler, Julia, which got political. The director would mention how the nation would be better off without all the politicians that caused a mess. And Olivia who was in earshot took this as a serious order and didn't realize that wasn't an order and didn't mean every politician. This caused them to breach the facility and escape, resulting in a number of other subjects and experiments breaking out as well, both sapient and unintelligent. In the resulting escape, the owner ended up seriously injured and in a coma, and the player would be tasked with recapturing the escaped experiments and stopping Olivia. The game is a turn based RPG and the first portion where these events happen is the tutorial. The player character throughout the game would have to find and recapture varying creatures from Eisenkrone, Helderezee, and Veloxflumine mythology, along with a few urban legends and some creatures from other nations myths. The bosses always being sapient creatures from Myth.

The player character is customizable, and can be one of most of the major races on the planet, with different stats between them. There are three endings, a good end where Olivia stops her plans to carry out the order seeing how it wasn't actually one and the amount of damage it'd cause. A bad end where Olivia is killed, and as a result a part of her plan goes through (Probably considered the worst end by those who like her character), and a secret, really bad end where essentially she wins only to feel bad quickly after once Julia catches up with her and explains the full extent of what she did. The super secret ending requiring a very specific chain of responses. The game also has a good mix of seriousness and humor and doesn't ruin the former with the latter.

>Retcon Setlovia
As the monks pray to Deika, the central fire leaps ever higher. The shape of their goddess takes form and solidifies, almost on the edge of reality. But somehow the ritual is insufficient. Perhaps the runes were too crude. Or maybe the hearts of the monks were too impure. Their goddess’s silhouette loses its form and melts back into the fire. Though the monks continue chanting for the rest of the night, it never reappears.
Disconsolate, the monks turn over custody of the sacred flame to a newly inducted brother. Ivan had not always been a religious man. In his younger days, he had been a soldier, fighting for his country during the War for Unification. After that, he eked out a living as a security guard, until even that fell through and he was left destitute on the streets. By some blessing or other, he had managed to find his way to the monastery. That was where he had made his home for the past twenty years, climbing from acolyte to elder monk through patience and dedication. On the fifth night of tending the flame is when Ivan makes the mistake. Clanging the ceremonial censer, an overzealous twist spills out the flaming coals within. A spark catches his robes aflame, and in an instant his whole body is a conflagration. But when the flames die down, Ivan is miraculously unharmed, touched only by ashen inscriptions tattooed on his skin. They tell of a path to peace through defence of the innocent. They are named the Book of Thorns.

Action 1:
These strange artifacts must be studied, try to figure out just what is up with those most strange incendiary weapons using tests of all sorts from a variety of chemical tests, mechanical tests and tests using known magics. Even tests using soulon detecting equipment are carried out in order to figure out just how this material works.
Action 2:
Energy has been lacking lately for many parts of the civilization and the manasap trees are probably the one thing which could possibly fill this void fully. Thus further radiation minimization is taken out around the manasap tree and near to the river so that the fuel produced is as untainted and effective as possible.

With increased interest in Space taking the Empires people for some time, and Graenian's current work in space, the Empire would very quietly make an offer to transfer some computer technology for space flight technology, the things the Emprie is most interested in being the Rocketry and Life support systems. It'd be a good thing to get the Koninklijke Luchtvaart en Ruimtevaart Administratie/Königlich Luftfahrt und Luft- und Raumfahrt Verwaltung up and running again with the old vehicle assembly building dusted off once more.
>>
>>4255783
The Federation, to anyone else and for anything else would have flatly rejected the offer. However, the Graenian Government knew just how advanced the Computers of the Empire were. The power the things had would be able to further research in nearly all fields, let alone our Space technology; now that was something that gave them pause to consider. Within the week, an agreement would be made. The knowledge for proper Electrolysis, as well as what Rocketry they had would be exchanged for the computers.
>>
>>4255345
Things have been going relatively well within the Kabal. the Demons are calm once again and research is steadily progressing:

> Action 1: ADPD 2/3 Assisted Possession
The technology while in it's infancy finds the first uses. The modified cursed symbols and electric shocks for now allow to just imitate the working on a tattoo for a short time. Allowing demons to possess individuals a little bit easier if their reflexes are good enough. Still that is not enough we need to invest in precision. Research is put into making machines witch changing seals to support all 8 types of Demons with the Seals altering themselves also depending on the power of the demon. Research is going slowly, but we feel like we're not far away from our goal.

> Action 2: The Vaalie Powerplant
Vaalie is a strategic ally of the Snakefolk Commune. A constant reminder to the Empire on how wrong even a seemingly easy war can go. As such a powerplant is constructed within the Frozen country. Hopefully the flames of Hell will bring them some warmth.
>>
>>4255345
> Diplo Kopakonen
Large quantities of metals and other things seem interesting. The Demons would ask for samples o everything Kopakonen can offer, then test it for Soulon concentration. We wish to see if anything the Kopakonen bring from the deepest trenches of the ocean possesses Soulon concentrations high enough to make Dvesilians out of. If none of their products meets the criteria we'll instead like to see the other metals. Do they have anything off or interesting there?

> Diplo Vaalie
As the endless peace-deal negotiations between the Vaalie and Empire continue it is clear that Vaalie needs some other allies besides us and Tropios. As such we will try to use our influence and the fact that we just built them a new power-plant to get them to better their relations with Kopakonen. We inform them of the advanced underwater metal mining operations the Sealies are doing and inform Vaalie that engaging in trade with them might be beneficial as both nations can stand together in unison if more Imperial aggression comes their way. Maybe the Vaalie could benefit the Kopakonen operations with their submarine technology? Who knows?

Of course we also thank Vaalie for their valuable information on Uboat warfäre.

> Sandtrac City & Tropios Diplo
It seems the Jungies like the Empire just started a new imperialist streak. So knowing that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" we introduce Tropios to Sandtrap City. While it is obvious that unlike Vaalie Sandtrap City is nothing like Tropios they share a common enemy. The Jungies.

As Tropiosi Diplomats are taken to Sandtrap City they would both witness celebrations as they managed to chase out the Invading Jungies as well as the construction of a large Jungie military base outside the City.

Before diplomacy officially starts the Tropians are warned to by no means buy Blue Heaven a local Sandrat Drug as it is rather dangerous. In the diplomacy Sandrat Jihadi and Tropios representatives would be able to talk and negotiate. In the talks the Sandrats would reveal that the Jungies have been using Siderian Soldiers to do most of their dirty work and have been collecting shipments of weapons from the Snakefolk Commune... referring to them as Tropian Weapons. As such the Tropians would be informed that the vile Jungies already are pretending that Tropios is involved in this conflict. Possily to justify a future invasion of Tropios based on that.

While understanding that more separates Tropios and Sandtrap City, the Snakefolk would point out the dangerous enemy both face in the Jungies. Who have made Siderio terrorists the core of their armed forces.

For the Tropians it is hinted at that it might be a good time to try out their new submarines.
>>
>>4255345
> Sandtrap City Diplo
being interested in the enemy tactic of snatching weapons for analysis we ask the Sandrats to do the same. Snatch weapons from Jungie and Siderio soldiers. Each weapon will be bought for a hefty prize or can be exchanged for a properly working hellfire imbued weapon even if damaged.

The Sandrats are once again encouraged to seek international help against the Jungie invasion force.
>>
>>4255345
> Tropios Diplo:
(forgot to mention)
The Snakefolk Commune thanks the Tropians for their sharing of information related to Uboat warfare with them.

> Diplo Colony
Colony as always it such a hard place to get a political foothold in. Always so hard. The Labal wishes to once again deepen our relations with them by proposing to build a Hellfire powerplant in their land. On one hand it produces large amounts of electricity, on the other it also allows them to travel to the Layer of Wrath to do trade with wrath Demons. Who isn't interesting in buying souls of the damned after-all.

The Colonists are also asked on how our Howler is coming along and if the research we shared with them came in handy. And on the topic of research, maybe they'll be willing to share some of theirs in exchange for us building the powerplant? If not we'll take Magenta Crystals as payment too...
>>
>>4255048
> Diplo Ingashe
The Snakefolk Commune humbly asks for you to condemn the aggressive, imperialist and expansionist behavior of the Jungie reactionary government.

The Jungies have invaded Sandtrap City, using Siderio terrorists to enforce their laws on the helpless Sandrats. While the sandrats are not socialist, their working people should not be forced to work as slaves in Jungie mines. While the brave Sandtrap freedom fighters managed to force the Jungie invaders to invade the Jungies retaliated by constructing a military base right at their doorstep and having their military Navy repeatedly violating Sandtrap City's waters.

We ask you to condemn the imperialist, capitalist actions of the Jungies and if possible to lend aid to the working people of Sandtrap City.

> Diplo Setlovia
The Snakefolk Commune is getting ready to release a new generation of games and wish to ask the Setlovians when the next generation of Ignaci will be released? While Ignaci-O is a great console it's very outdated. Currently any planned games the Snakefolk Commune has could only be released on Cream to be played on EH-Computers. Ignaci-O would not meet the Hardware requirements.

> Diplo Radiation Cults
With the liberation movement being tricked in what amounts to self exile it is even more important to get the Radiation cults on our side.

Radiation fades over time, especially when the Dvesilian government is actively cleaning it. It must be hard for the Radiation Cults to work on their faith and research. As such the Liberation movement would offer them a solution: In exchange for sharing their findings, they will be granted access to the Snakefolk Commune's Thorium reactor as well as all the Nuclear waste it produces. Research on radiation which the Snakefolk Commune gained from the Ingashe will also be shared with them.

The dyst

Race: Human?
Government: Meritocracy
Motto: advancement for the whole
-lore: a dying race, the old rulers sold the souls of their people to spirits for magic. At that point the poorer of the cities began to mutate in indescribable ways, not knowing what to do with these untouchables they were contained for research and with the goal of finding the greater potential of these beasts. The magic the country holds is unstable and highly volatile. Many of the rulers and influential people of the nation have access to this magic. The feats that these people can do is superhuman, however these powers seem to come at a cost of their mind. When this power is tapped into a different being takes over the mouth and much of the mind of the body. However with much research it's been proven that the original owner of the body maintains control of their body, just not their voice. The race is dedicated to controlling this power and taking back the souls of their people along with the perfection of themselves and their surroundings.

> Diplo Dyst
For so many years, how could we have not yet picked up relations with Dyst? The odd nation of advanced Doctors, Engineers and fishers must really have slipped our attention.

Like we first did many years ago we send a Snakefolk diplomat to them. To introduce himself as a diplomat of the Snakefolk Commune.

"We the people of the Snakefolk Commune wish to establish friendly relations with your people. It just so happens that your nation lies right on the way between our nation and Sandtrap City. You see Sandtrap City is currently being invaded by the authoritarian Jungie Empire and we have been supporting the valiant effort of the Sandrats to keep their nation unoccupied. As such we have been a lot in the region lately, and thought it would be appropriate to open up diplomatic relations.

We would like to learn of what your people can offer in therms of trade and in exchange we'll of course tell you what we can offer. Our specialty is fire magic, imbuing mundane items with flame enchantments as well as weapons. Another thing we can offer is rare Magenta crystals which can store a lot of energy or our Flame of Life powerplant, a powerplant which produces electricity without any cost."

>diplo Snakefolk

Happy at the idea of opening our nation up to a bit of trade is fascinating. Interested in the idea of elemental control fascinated them. We have strong fake limbs and we believe our surgeon's skill is unparralled.
>>
>>4256125
"Our Fire magic is simple. If imbued in an object let's say a rod. The user can control it at will. Where it burns, how strong it burns and how hot it burns. It takes a bit of training as it is intuitive the held enchanted object becomes like part of the user. That is though only using things we enchanted for you, and we are happy to sell. For one to wield fire magic themselves they need to accept the the gift of the Flame of Life. Which is somewhat harder. If you wish though you can send students to our University to learn this art and if they are ready to pass said skill on we'll build a Flame of Life power-plant in your land.

Hmm... we do not have much use of fake limbs nor surgeons really. We are happy to send exchange students to your university to learn those skills though. Surgery is not something you can just export after all."

I would love to learn your powers. As a nation, we only want to improve our bodies and grow out societies. >SandRat Diplo as Well
This show of blantant celebration upon the leaving of Jungie forces in SandRat City quickly ruins the remaining goodwill the Jungies and their soldiers had felt towards the ratfolk. Immediately upon the fireworks ceasing, the Jungies go to work gathering as much Caliche as they can (considering the radioactive wind is no longer a threat, the mine can be closed.) and leave. The recent SandRat immigrants are sent back, except for those that are in dire need at the rehab centers. "Please feel free to contact us if you would like TVs and noodles, otherwise we would like to stay as far away from you maddened people as long as possible."
Reports are compiled from all they observed, and the few testimonies the Jungies could compile, and they prepare an announcement to the nations of the world on what they had learned.

2.
With the onset of Jungies returning home, the S.I.A. has their hands busy dealing with these dang internet saboteurs. Soon, a form of software is designed to locate and mark these 'Known Inflammatory Posters', called SwampWare. The program operates as a trojan horse, latching onto messages, files, and other communication methods. When embedded into a computer communicating with another computer with SwampWare (ie all Jungie computers), a ping is logged, showing the apparent physical location of the two computers.

>Global Diplo
>Blue Heaven=Hell on Earth
All player and NPC nations that the Jungies are in contact with recieve invites to a World Health Summit, to talk about tackling the international drug known as Blue Heaven. The Jungies send dossiers full of patient studies, biopsy photos, and clinical samples.

"This drug has bewitched the Sandrat peoples very souls, and all nations should be aware of the threat they pose as peddlers of this poison. Once addicted, this drug is a guaranteed death, or a living hell. We like to invite other nations to aid us in embargoing the producers of this filth."

As the Snakefolk Students Travel to Dyst... Dyst can do whatever they want with them. But no volunteers come forward yet to be experimented on.

Meanwhile in the Snakefolk Commune the Dyst transfer Students would be treated to the same treatment as the Students of Tawar originally were. They would be cut off communication or a few hours and quickly transformed into demons and those resisting transformed in a longer time. They would all be transformed into Wrath/Fire Demons... weak ones.

Now with the Elves it went well and easily, they have souls like any other race, so the question is how would the Dyst react to this? The Demons would not know anything was different until they attempted the possessions. What Could the result be?
a) If the Dyst already controls the entity which possessed it it likely could could also control the Demon like Amalagamation does.
b) If the Dyst is possessed both mentally and physically the two Possessing entities would fight for control with one winning clearly and eating the other or them coexisting forever battling for controll.
c) If the Dyst lost their Soul is there even anything to posses? Aret hey somehow immune?
d) Is Dyst-possession and Demonic possession incompatible would some odd incomprehensible results come fourth?
e) Would they just be possessed normally and we don't even notice anything else possessing them?
f) The entity in them is akin to a different type of Demon making fire Demon possession impossible, instead they can learn another type of Demon magic without any possession.
>>
>>4256774
there are 3 results through the group.

1st group: The strong ones take the spirit of the demons and subjugate them, creating a horrific amalgamation of the hellish creature and an eldritch abomination, but somehow they maintained their sanity.

2nd: Some have lost their soul long ago, leaving them with few remnants of magic but apparently there is a new benefit that was unknown before, they are unaffected.

3rd: there is only one dyst like this, he was a famous sage in the mainland. He had long ago subjugated the curse to his will and after days of war with the entities within them, he subjugated both to his will.

Also, they are all pretty fucking pissed about this. We came in peace and you spit on us.
>>
>>4257285
This occurs with one exception: in the second group, those that have lost their souls entirely, the demons take over the body without issue
>>
>>4257285
>>4257626
Whatever is going on is weird... these people are already possessed... and not by a Demon. It's something else, something odd. A Demon can only take a soul with him to hell after a person dies and even then often fragments and chunks of it stay behind, but whatever is in those people it is making their soul shrink while it's there. Either it's directly devouring it or ripping out chunks and sending them wherever their home is... more so it seems to do that to Demons too. Two Demons of different types can never merge even if possessing the same person, even if by force, but whatever is in the Dyst... merged with the Demon. The only true possessions we experience is from individuals who seem to have no Soul... yet creepily enough keep moving. Still having at least a certain group which fell prey to full possession is valuable as we can send the back to Dyst claiming the rest chose to stay if the need arises.

With the members of Group 1... there is an idea too. What if we continue adding more demons into the mix, making them 99% demon and 1% whatever was originally there. The result should be something which for all intents and purposes is a Demon right?

The famous Sage... was not accounted for. Why would such a famed man be among mere exchange students? While fear strikes most one person seems excited:

> Amalgamation talks with the Sage
"You and me are similar. We both managed to fully conquer the bests which lie within us. I personally find pleasure in dominating the Possessors, what can be more pleasurable than controlling the ones which are supposed to control you? What is more invigorating than controlling the power of those who were meant to control your power? I love that feeling, I love it so much. That's why I want to talk to the only other man who managed to do it. I want to feel whatever is inside your kind."

> The anger of the Visitors
There really is no way to quell their anger for now... but hey at least it makes them susceptible to wrath demons. We need to keep them unable to communicate with the outside world and that's all that matters. We'll figure out something eventually.

> Attempt to talk to the ones possessing the Dyst
Can we talk to the ones who are possessing the Dyst, not the Dyst themselves? Well, we have to at least try. (language barrier is not a problem Snake Demons can peak every language which can exist)
>>
>>4256019 (diplo - gehenna)
Several major cult leaders, essentially experts in the fields of theoretical and practical physics (including the properties of soulons) by necessity join alongside their underlings. They could be put to use in a variety of things such as the development of new physics based technologies along with soulon related fields, although their help in research might only come to fruition at a later date as they are quite hit or miss when it comes to leaps and bounds of progress.
Those who do not join with this group seem to be the most fanatical, perhaps ironically taking after the libertines in their rejection of authorities outside of their own. Although their near insane minds may be related to it as the highest levels of radiation exposure and damage can be found among this group, along with the most genius's, though there is madness in their intellect... so perhaps it is for the best that they remain as they were.
>>4256525 (diplo - the dyst)
The magics of radiation and other physical forces developed by the cults are far flung and are hard to quantify, on the one hand they have figured out how to manipulate radioactive particles so that they can be used for productive uses and on the other hand they currently are the only ones capable of doing this as according to the nature of their being as outlined in the widely known properties of "soulons" their form is the only one which is capable of manipulating particles in such a way.
Recently it seems that many of them have moved to the dark region, a place of radio silence where both the rock golems and snake commune lives in order to chase after the promises of radiation via the thorium reactor which exists there. Those who remain are plenty intelligent and could be useful in further developing radiation related magic however they are quite mad as the effects of radioactive exposure have taken its toll on their psyche.

The alternative of course is the anti-radiation knack of the barrons of taramaja and deinsaikne, who both have a vested interest in purging radiation from their lands and could be happy to cooperate with the dyst alongside tarwar in order to further improve radiation scrubbing plants and the tarwar magics used to produce them.

This leaves two choices, the rare and seemingly insane remnants of the cults or the barrons of those two great cities alongside the tarwar's magic. To cooperate with the radiation or to reject it and scrub it from the soil, that is the question.

>The Graenian Federation
The Federation has traditionally recognized three domains of combat, air, sea, and land. Now, as more advanced computers and the internet begin to enter common use, a fourth domain emerges: the cyber domain. The first step to dominance of that sector is implementation of global passive surveillance of the open internet. So called OSINT, when aggregated and sifted through by keen eyes, can provide far more data than may at first be apparent.
The chief problem that has to be solved for hydrogen based fuel systems is that of storage. The tiny molecules of hydrogen have an infuriating tendency to slip the confines of their storage vessels. For now, the problem is bypassed by sending the hydrogen to orbit as water, then using the electrolysis technology to convert it into hydrogen to top up the leaking storage systems as needed.

>Dvesilians
It’s the soulon detecting equipment that first makes headway into the question of the “other” weapons. While they don’t detect living soulons on the weapons themselves, they do detect a strange aura of destructive interference that the armaments create on the areas surrounding them. When the bullets are fired in incendiary mode, it is this aura which defines the range within which objects are set ablaze. When they are fired in “power mode”, the interference is concentrated within the barrel itself, presumably giving rise to the bullets’ enhanced velocity and penetration.
Thanks to the crops of radiation-absorbing plants the Tawar’s planted, the work of decontaminating the land is significantly easier. The Dvesalians are able to reduce the radioactivity of all four affected provinces down to acceptable levels.

>Vaalie
The Vaalians take this suggestion in stride and begin to make overtures towards the Sealies.

>Tropios
The Tropians have little interest in the submarine tech--their navy is already quite well-developed, and the hide and strike tactics of submarine warfare are usually more effective in an offensive campaign than a defensive one.

>Sandtrap City
Relations between Tropios and Sandtrap City are established.

For some time now, the dyst had contented themselves with the simple parts of life. They had tended their bountiful kelp farms off the shores of Tarnia, watching with casual disinterest as the major powers squabble around them. That all changed when the choking plumes of fallout rained from the sky. As the dyst tended to the dead and the dying, they knew that they could no longer afford to isolate themselves from global affairs. For in the shrinking world of the modern age, those who do not control the wheel of history will find themselves being crushed by it.
The Dyst have mastered the art of sustainable fisheries and built the most advanced prostheses on the planet. In addition, using their own understanding of computing and the Reich’s advanced computers, they have also created phones that double as small, touch controlled computers.

The mine and military base are dismantled, the few permanent structures there demolished thoroughly with explosives. These infernal creatures may have driven the jungies away, but the boars are damned if they’ll allow their hard work to be exploited by these barbarians.
The trojan horse is effective, allowing the Jungies to track the source of the VPN transmissions to a network of snakefolk-owned server farms. From here, though, the Jungies face a problem. Given the snakefolk’s open hostility to the Jungies in recent global announcements, there’s little chance they’ll be open to helping the Jungies pin down the criminals. In fact, there’s a nagging suspicion among high level Jungie military officials that the snakefolk themselves could be behind these troll attacks in the first place. If the Jungies could compromise a server farm, that might allow them to divine the true location of the trolls. The problem is, there are none of these farms in Jungie territory, so seizing one could risk a diplomatic incident..

The alien engines are of an interesting design. Unlike conventional Tarnian rockets, which derive power from the combustion of kerosene, the Colony’s rockets instead use enormous electromagnetic coils to accelerate ions to generate lifting force. The resulting rockets are very powerful, but depend on large quantities of xenon as fuel.

The meteoric rise of the EH Reich as a gaming powerhouse has shaken Mikhaelsoft to its core.If they are to maintain their dominance over the world of gaming, they will have to reinvent themselves entirely. Enter the Augur system. A set of goggles that fit over the eyes, the Augur system erases the boundary between reality and fiction, taking gaming to a whole new level. The only thing it needs now is a game to play.
Drawing from his training as a warrior, Ivan decides that the best way to record the book of thorns is by training others in his path. In that vein, he takes many disciples from all walks of life, training them equally in combat and scripture. One of his students, Aetop, records these lessons and edits them into a series. It is these videos, which contain both the full texts themselves as well as Ivan’s interpretations , that form the scripture of the Book of Thorns.

With our presence in space known, it's time to solidify it. A new station is to be made, one that's purpose is to construct ships for orbital and void travel. Thanks to the lack of any actual gravity, ships can be not only be made larger, but faster too, as all parts are mostly already fabricated. The station is christened the GFSS Forge, and is protected by modified SAM systems, CIWS systems, and had a group of marines specially trained for station combat in the case of boarding. This would be one of the two defining moments in Modern Graenian history...

Now, with all the advances in technology; hydrogen thrusters, life support systems, artificial gravity, even sustainable hydroponics, a small base on the moon is not only possible, but underway. Scientific personnel, trained as cosmonauts are to man the base, and thus, Graenia will possess the most advanced scientific facility of any nation, and the first one off world.

"My dear Sage. You are never leaving from here. You are a man of the same caliber as I am a woman. You will never be possessed, now will you ever be subjugate, but you can't leave unless you are. You overestimate your government and underestimate ours. How many countries do you think got the same treatment as you do now? 3? 4? All of which fell for it, all of whom can be contacted by your people for confirmation. Isstead maybe let's talk about something different, how can I get the creature inside you into myself as well?"

The odd man arrives at the border and is told he needs to file for a VISA to enter and as such he won't be let in. Luckily for him a Snakefolk Diplomat is happy to come meet him at the border.

"You are not hearing back from your people because they are undergoing now what is called the flame of life meditation. The first step in learning fire magic is not learning it, it's getting in tune with the flame and synchronizing it trough a long process of meditation. One in which you can't have distractions. Your lack of trust into our people is astounding, considering many nations in the world have sent their students to our country. The first nation was the Tawar Federation, who we know has already launched an investigation proving flame magic safe. Students from Vaalie, Tropios and even a few from Kopakonen also have studied here to be able to operate Flame of Life powerplants themselves. As a sign of goodwill, I brought the Ace of the class with us. (you would see one of the soulless guys, he would look exactly the same except for looking healthier and having some burn-scars explained away as training incidents. Demons gain the memories of the ones they posses, thus they are able to perfectly imitate their behavior if need be! His own mother wouldn't see the difference. As such the boy would seem just like he was before, maybe more confident looking. Possession can't be really detected without specialized tools, ones you nee to know Demons exist to even start making, or advanced theological practices like exorcists, which also need developing.). The Student would explain that he'll soon be done with his battle meditation practice and he'll be able to pick communication up soon. If the governament is so worried they should talk to the professors of the university of Gwadorship in Tawar, they have gone trough the same student exchange program after all. The boy also would be requested by the Snakefolk diplomat to show off some fire magic. Which he would do."

"Good Afternoon,
During the studies of your people at our university we have found some let's say anomalies in regards to their Souls. Our nation is at the forefront of research into Soul-related technologies and if you can provide us with some thing in exchange we are happy to share what we know. For now we would like to warn you that Radiation has very negative effects on the soul. One could describe the effects of radiation as shrinking or deteriorating the Soul.

Considering our nation has so far had very friendly relations I think such joint research could benefit us both greatly. We are already cooperating on many research projects with nations such as the Tawar and our good ally the Ingashe.

Lastly we of course wanted to ask how our own students are doing? Is their education progressing well."

*Tiny mistake Tarn made

FyordVPN is a private company set up in the EH Reich, by one of the possessed parliamentarians, with no official or obvious ties to the Snakefolk. So the Jungies would be able to ask EH Empire for the logs, but considering the Empire is a rather free state and a parliamentarian owns said company it might be hard. Though they wouldn't know of the involvement of the Snakefolk.

> Action 1: Dvesilian Factory
In the form of Ammonite Fossils we have finally obtained a safe and lasting source of Soulons, even better: it's abroad. A factory overseen by possessed Sandrats is set up in Sandtrap City, but it will be staffed by normal Sandrats.

Why? Well it's killing 4 birds with 1 Stone:
1. Untracability - once the 3 high-Barons choose to investigate foreign imported Dvesilians they will first arrive at Sandtrap City and then at Kopakonen, making it a stretch to tie it to the Snakefolk.
2. Speeding up infiltration of Dvesillia - the produced Dvesilians will be all shipped to the liberation movement, which has strong ties to us empowering it.
3. Our Sphere of influence - creating economic ties between Kopakonen and Sandtrap City tightens the relations the members of our sphere of influence share.
4. Better the Sandrat Economy - the Sandrats have to at least seem like they are doing better than they did when the Jungies were around.

Important note, a finished ADPD (Automatic Demon Possession Device), will be hidden in the factory. 1 in 10 shipped out Dvesillians gets shipped out possessed. The machine is rigged with explosives so it can be blown up immediately in case of a raid.

> Action 2: ADPD 3/3 Finnish the automatic possession Device

With experiments done and our mastery of possessions achieved. While the machine for now is huge, likely needing a mini-van to be transported it exists and works. Demons are sealed into a Manasap-Wood Block. Inserted into the machine and show out with a jolt of electricity into the target. That way creating a device which can automatically posses an opponent without fail.

Let's also instantly check the limits of said technology by using it on the Dyst Students. Will the ADPD work on them?

> Diplo Sandtrap City alone
To help with the addict problem we start selling them Manasap. It does not help with the addiction itself, but if anyone wants to quit the Drug it'll give them the willpower to do so.

Our curse is beyond any of our understanding. It consumes our people and controls our minds. Some of us are less cursed than others and can control the being in us. Others are consumed by it and become thralls, no more than pack beasts. Our people do not take well to the subjugation of our minds, as you so kindly have done. For centuries we have been warning against an entity beyond our control which consumers our people. I see that we can not leave for the moment, but you have insulted our hospitality by taking our minds against our will.

The messenger looks at the boy and nods his head, he is disturbed by the lack of the rest of the party but all looks for the moment. He looks at the diplomat "I see you are taking good care of us, we hope in the future you will allow us to speak to the rest of the companions."

Geoff the fat read this letter, disconcerted about the fact that the secret of the souls was known so fast to these people. How had they figured it out? He paced the room, the sound of metal vibrating across the capital. This was a disturbing development. Of course, he was sure that there was some good reason, but how had they found out. As he contemplated the issue of the souls he realized that it was becoming necessary for the computers to replace the minds of his people. The accursed magic had damned his people for too long and it was time to separated the bodies from their minds. As a matter of the new students, he sat down and began as such.

"My friends,

The shrinking of souls is of no concern to us, as long as the body keeps moving all is well in the end. I would be fascinated to learn how you discovered our anomalies, as the people we sent were to learn knowledge and not divulge dark secrets.

As to the student you sent us, they are quite gifted with a surgeon's knife, in fact, today, one of them even replaced his arm with one of our superior prosthetics, he finds it much to his liking. The anatomy that we observed during this process was quite fascinating, and we wish to learn more about how your people work.

warm regards

Geoff:"

With the plans and information generously given by the Graenian Federation, the Koninklijke Luchtvaart en Ruimtevaart Administratie/Königlich Luftfahrt und Luft- und Raumfahrt Verwaltung and by extension, the facilities in Heidekerk aan Zee could be refurbished and the Vehicle Assembly Building set to work once more. Currently, the construction and testing of Graenian rockets would be underway, as would trying to find the best bits of Graenian design philosophy and EHE philosophy. As there very quickly came to be a very apparent difference between and more than just the natural evolution of technology. As such, looking into the differences between the two and finding the best parts would be fairly easy and any parts which were compatible could create a more effective version of the two. Additionally, it'd get the Empire more familiar with Graenian design and creating along with working with their rockets and the properties they have.

Meanwhile, work would be done to actually properly set up and modernize the KLRA/KLLRV facilities in Heidekerk aan Zee, this was important seeing how there was a new, modern space race afoot and with the new equipment and research, there was really only one place to actually conduct the tests and in the future actually launch the craft into orbit. Additionally, with the population looking to the stars and future as much as they are now, it would most certainly be something the public would like. In the near future, just like days of old, people could gather at a distance and watch the spacecraft take off and begin their ascent into the vast unknown of space. After all, the Empire rules the skies, and naturally by extension, space should be mastered as well.

>Action One. Work on improving rocket designs given from Graenia using our own methods to get minor improvements.

>Action Two. Work on re opening the KLRA/KLLRV center in Heidekerk aan Zee.

The captured Tropian firearms, though old, are still weapons of war. The Snorted institute communal armories, and civic militias to take up arms in the event of foreign invaders.

Basic small arms designs evolve along clan lines, in terms of what seems appropriate. Many noodle mongers and traders take to carrying handguns for defense when in foreign lands.

"In the interest of the public welfare of peoples of all nations, a concentrated effort must be taken to fight the spread of this drug, curb those selling it with great prejudice, and punish those making this poison. The Jungie nation will be making efforts with all represented nations to try and achieve these goals. The barron of taramaja would be pleased to work alongside the dyst in order to solve their issues. Under his command he has many skilled biomancers however they are familiar mostly with plants. For a good price they are willing to ship the manpower and units necessary to preform a radiation scrubbing of the land assuming the necessary funds can be provided by the dyst.
On the matter of curing radiation related diseases in citizens there are two options. Firstly there is the mostly untested although very likely entirely possible scenario of converting dyst citizens to dvesilians. This is done through a process of essentially killing the person via molten iron in a controlled environment and then working the iron so that as many soulons as needed can be retained while getting rid of unnecessary elements like calcium and phosphorous. The result is a person wielding the same soul as his fore bearer although unless a biologically friendly method of metallic soul transfer is produced the new individual will lack pretty much all recollection of memories although the impact of those memories on personality will still be there, its basically a chance at new life free of the pains associated with a biological form. Although in order to foolproof this process some investment will need to be made on your part, although we are very eager to develop this fully as we believe it is the most likely to lead to great profits on our part.
The other option is to alter the radiation absorbing and neutralizing plants in order to cleanse the body of radiation, which alongside gene therapy could reverse pretty much all the effects of radiation related illnesses. Although this may require an improvement of your technology when it comes to gene theory and will require as well your investment into biologically comparable radiation absorbing plants. Another root along these lines would be to modify plant magic to heal using ethereal energy, although this method would require people adept in nature magic to preform.

The foriegn construction of Dvesilians enrages the Barron of taramaja, whose market domination on the creation of new civilians he would rather keep, and it digs into his pride that it was not another barony but an obscure desert nation which had just exited out of a war who poses any kind of threat to his dominion.
Thus foriegn immigration to areas he has control over is enforced heavily, with anybody found avoiding the ban being detained or in certain cases shattered into slag, their soulon particles being divided into standard metal soups so that their consciousness may never again rise.
Other baronys on the other hand act differently, due to the labor shortages caused by the radiation they accept immigrants quite readily while lilismaja only tends to accept high skilled immigrants while putting immigrants who did not come through via legal authority under heavier taxation alongside an expatiation program to help get them to go somewhere else. Although high skilled immigrants are rarely allowed into higher level positions mostly due to the gerontocracy of dvesilian society mixed with a widespread suspicion towards these immigrants from a nation under the rule of the reclusive snakes.

The world health summit would be attended by a few medical professionals initially, though soon enough after the main focus of the summit is relieved to be on a drug crisis, there would be more national security related officials arriving shortly after. The reaction to the proposal of fixing it with the death penalty would however not be taken well, upon hearing about it, the Helderezee Statist Party, the Copperheads, and even most of the Eisenkrone Royalist Party are opposed to such extreme measures done to curb the problem, In fact, one of the Royalist party would even mention when asked about why they opposed such methods was simply that they thought death was simply a light punishment. Despite this, the Empire would seem to agree that rehabilitation on those affected by the drug and finding the location of it's production and shutting it down was best, though wouldn't really add much seeing how they haven't necessarily been effected by any drug problems, though would certainly take steps to make sure one didn't arise.

The Demons would explain it as a simple process. The head of a creature is put into manasap full of mana, while the legs into a pool empty of it. Souls conduct mana, so that way you can check for the presence and power of a Soul. Usually beings with no Soul fall into a coma, the Dyst seem to be an exception to that rule.

By the coven, Grand Vizier Yerik has been alerted about the runes. The public already knows of the three books, but nobody outside of the highest coven knows that runes exist. Yerik sees this as an opportunity to both strengthen his military and teach the "public" in the ways of new Deikan magic.

by "public", Yerik meant implementation into the Setlovian military, AKA; the Setlovian Final Guard. Effective immediately, platoon leaders would receive several sets of runes, and would need to formulate a drill plan that accords to the fighting styles in the Book of Thorns. This does not mean that the actual public will be told of the runes. Naturally, we will let this mythical power spread. The soldiers aren't told that they can't inform their loved ones. In fact, no security measure is taken in keeping the runes a secret, at least within the military. Not a single civilian, excluding our monks, knows of the runes, or their power... yet.

Objects flying past a user's face as he rockets through the vastness of space, towards the sun. The actor wearing the headset will try his best to show that the hardware on his face is able to track every last movement of his head. Once the demo is over, and the actor's in-game camera hits the star, the room will once again go black. Enter a representative from Ignaci, holding the Augur. He will then explain that what the audience just saw was a real-time virtual reality experience, using Ignaci's new piece of hardware. The representative is going to give all the important details about this new system, such as its compatibility with modern hardware, and ability to track every movement of the user's head. To truly experience this for themselves, the live audience of this conference will be given the opportunity to try the Augur after the main event has ended. The post show will feature interviews from willing participants in the post-show demo.

The post-show demo will feature a fully-rigged 3D environment, which participants may explore with the demo's controller. The controller in question is a repurposed Ignaci-O controller, a place-holder while we work tirelessly on the next big thing.

This 3D environment will feature a full-scale replica of the monastery at the peak of Mt. Khana. The replica itself is completely modeled, and textured with real high-definition photographs of the interior and exterior of the structure.

There is no longer a difference for the user between a prosthetic arm an organic arm, This results in massive adoption of prosthetics, the average dyst has become a superhuman with mechanical arms and eldritch powers. It has become common to see a dyst in the street, more machine than human, and what is left of humanity is usually corrupted flesh, in which a tentacle or cursed eye maybe. The dead resume their work, being sent into doing the dangerous jobs. In the back alleys, there are hack surgeons replacing parts of humans, shipping out the limbs to out of state organ sellers. The revolution of combining the machine with body has resulted in a second human revolution, and the citizens are reveling in the new expression of their bodies.

>The Graenian Federation
The idea of putting defensive weapons on a space station seems quite incongruous, and quickly becomes something of a joke among the people. Still, the orbital construction station is widely viewed as a point of pride among Graenians.
The morning of landing day, the whole of Graenia was abuzz with anticipation. Some shrewd government publicists had arranged for the footage of the landing to be streamed live across the globe on massive projectors, and now the streets are packed with patriots and foreigners alike, all buzzing with anticipation. As the lunar descent module’s engines set it gently on the ground, an enormous cheer erupts. For the first time in nearly a century, mankind has once again set foot on the moon.

>Kaball of Gehenna
Using the ammonites as raw materials, the Demons are able to shift into mass production of Dvesalians quite quickly. Soon, they are producing the mechanistic lifeforms at a rate comparable to the great barons.
The machine proves to be very good at getting the demons into the mortal souls, but it seems like it has little effect on the Eldritch creatures. The stronger demons are able to use the element of surprise to quickly overwhelm a few, however, which increases the number of possessed dyst somewhat.

>Kopakonen
The Kopakonen actually take to the Sandrats quite well. Maybe it’s because they can’t smell very well out of the water.

>Sandrat
The Manasap definitely helps many Sandrats quit, though it does little to dull the brutal physical side effects of withdrawal. Sandrat society, which had been teetering on the edge of implosion for some time now, slowly begins to tip back towards order.

>Colony
The Colonists present the Kabal with a hauler creature.

>Aeregatta
The Blue heaven has been selling quite well here indeed, and the Regattans are quick to complain to the snakefolk about their issues with the drug. Perhaps the snakefolk could somehow help?

>Vaalie
Regardless of the results of the referendum, the Vaalians assure the Snakefolk, the bonds of friendship between the two nations will remain as robust as ever. However, thanks to their support, the government has embarked on a PR campaign that should help sway the populace towards monarchy.

>Eisenkrone-Helderezee Empire
With the engine tech given by the Graenians and the hard work of Reich scientists, the first Reich-native spacecraft is built. Named Adriane after the proverbial daughter of Minos, the platform is capable of hauling only slightly less freight than the Graenian Progress, topping out at around 20,000 kg. Its maiden launch from the Reich’s brand new spaceport is a cause for much joy.

>Snorting Swamps
The culture of citizen gun ownership quickly becomes deeply ingrained in Jungie culture, which is beginning to shift towards belief in the ideals of freedom and independence. Jungies the world over snort: life, liberty, leisure!
A new public movement sweeps across the streets, called Stop the Bleed. The program promotes the stocking of tourniquets and clotting bandages alongside defibrillators and first aid kits. As a result, deaths due to stabbing, shooting, and trauma in general see a significant decline.
The World Summit is attended by the city states of Aeregatta and Wumpel, who complain about the drug being smuggled into their cities and infecting their youth. Tropios and Sandrat City are notable no-shows.

>Dvesilians
The mountains are desolate and their cold chills the Dvesalians down to their core. But with the construction of this new laterite mine, they have aluminum to sell, and this source of income allows their population to sustain and ultimately even expand.
Meanwhile, the pulse of life downhill is beginning to speed up. Strong but bulky hydraulics are replaced by pneumatic systems, which are cleaner and less expensive to maintain. With a light bounce in their step, the Dvesalians move with increasing speed towards the future.

>Soviet Republic of Ingashe
A fractional distillery is set up just outside of Hanashi. Within its large towers, air is cooled until each of its component gases condenses into a liquid. While it specializes in generating xenon, amounts of other gases are extracted as well. Helium balloons become more popular across the republic.

>Setlovia
The path of Thorns and its particular focus on close combat proves a good fit for runic combat. In particular the chi-focusing physical exercises detailed within seem to enhance the quality and volume of fire produced.
The surprise reveal of the Augur system proves to be a success, with crowds lining up around the block to get a look at this new technology. A few snags do show up, as a few testers report nausea, but clearly there’s a demand for this technology.

>I.S.A.F
We’ll talk in discord.

>Vaalie
The results of the Referendum on democracy have arrived and the results are frankly astonishing. Just 12% of voters voted in favor of maintaining the monarchy. As of now, the Vaalian government has not yet issued an official statement on this matter. Word on the street is that they were as shocked by this as anyone else, and are scrambling to come up with a contingency plan.

This is Tobias Grenfelter, reporting from Veloxflumine. The National Institute for Deproliferation has released its list of most Militarized Nations. Now we should note, this list reflects each nation's direct military capacity, not counting indirect military statistics like Tactics, Discipline, or Intel. Still, it’s always nice to see your country near the top. Without further ado, here’s the full list:
1. Di-di: 13
2. Snorting Swamps: 7
3. EH Reich and Ingashe(Tie): 6
5. Graenian Federation: 5
6. Snakefolk Commune: 4
7. Tawar Federation, Dvesalians, Setlovia: 1

1. Much time has passed since the Federation looked upon it's military. This, of course, cannot stand. It is time to move onto the next generation of AFVs. Advancements like Laser based scrambling, Heavy ERA, improved ADS, the standardization of Tesla Generators in place of older fossil fuel power generators, Improved ammunition, autoloaders, suspension, everything. It's time we overhaul into the Fourth Generation of Armored fighting vehicles.

2. Meanwhile, on the Moon, EVA scans begin to locate deposits of anything usable. With any luck, lunar "factories" could be a thing in the near future, providing processed materials for use off Tarnia in ship and station production.

> Vaalie Diplo
Considering the previous vocal opposition to Democracy the people of Vaalie had the Snakefolk Commune is very much so surprised.

Did the Empire fake the results?
Well, all we can do is get chummy with whoever wins the next elections. Try to create a populist political party from Possessed Vaalians. Just have them say whatever will get you elected.

> Diplo for next 4 turns with all Citystates + Di-di
I just want to try to convince them to rent out mercenaries. Maybe get the Di-Di to get to do some paid jobs.

> Actions for next 4 turns I'll be gon

>Action 1:
Invent Hell-trains and build a rail track between Vaalie and Sandtrap City, don't upen it to use yet.
> Action 2
Invite the 2000 most important people in the world: Politicians, company owners celebrities to Vaalie to take a ride by said train. Be it the high barons of Dvesilia, the Tawar Council, the King of Tropios and Vaalie or even the founders of Ignaci-O. Then while on the 5h ride trough hell to Sandtrap City, have every single one of them posessed.

If anyone of the 2000 most important people refuse to come, invite the next most important person to them.

Have the now possessed politicians and entrepreneurs push for the connection to the extremely fast Helltrain network. (people and city-states will be given engineers so they can connect themselves with their own actions)

> Action 3
Have a secret hellgate oepened in Jungie land

> Action 4
Overall military reform

> Action 5
Military reform adapt to swamp warfare

> Action 6
Start summoning mid tier Demons and upgrading them with modern tech

> Action 7:
Summon 2 High tier Demons. The hauler and Manasap Tree we possess are the only entities powerful enough to house such things

> Action 8
Poison the Jungie water supply. 2/4 rivers which nurture the swamp start in our land. Let's do something with that.
1. Have all our rot demons puke on mass into the water. Making all crops and plants watered by it rot and all who drink it feel extreme hunger.
2. Throw all our nuclear waste into the water. Be it from our thorium reactor or left over from when the Nuclear fire disaster was happening
3. Stop exporting blue heaven to Setlovia. Instead throw all of the bought blue heaven into the river too.

Let the Jungies have fun dealing with the chemical, physical and magical poisoning of their entire water supply.

>The dyst
Implanted microchips become a common sight throughout dyst society. With a computer taking over life's most basic functions, the brain is freed up for creativity and innovation. Over time, the average intelligence of the dyst gradually increases. Of course, this doesn't make everyone a genius, only shifts the bell curve somewhat. But the improvement is enough to streamline education and bring new inventions to the fore.
This improvement, however, comes with a cost. The chips simply are not as good as the brain at maintaining life. Rather that being able to adjust to conditions based on direct sensation, they must rely on instrumentation to make adjustments. Of course, the chips are designed to compensate, but even the best algorithms sometimes make mistakes. Over the course of a lifetime, these mistake compound into lasting health problems. The bones become frail, organs grow weaker or even fail entirely, the skin flakes off and becomes translucent. Eventually, large portions of the population are forced into replacing much of their body with protheses.
This new revolution causes a sort of parallel renaissance in transhumanist literature. Writers and artists dream up worlds where chips allow dead bodies to be reanimated and used for labor, where prosthetics match or even exceed organic limbs, where the dyst shed all but a fraction of their corporeal selves. Of course, such worlds could only exist far in the future, but maybe one day...
>tl;dr dyst get implantable microchips and prosthetics become a normal part of ordinary life. All the other stuff about dead bodies being reanimated and such is currently confined to sci fi, though.
