A group of minions of under the thrall of a some faction have broken free! Now they must carve out a destiny of their own, while ducking away from their previous masters.

Choose minion sub-type:

>Saibamen: Plant-like organisms of various colors that grow instantaneously. Must have access to H20 resources and must be in environments of high solar energy for photosynthesis. Feral and have starting bad relations with most other factions.

>Biomen: Vat-grown organisms similar to Saibamen, but of flesh organic material. They must secure a laboratory with vat-tanks to increase numbers and must eat, sleep, and drink like normal- but they can train up their Ki more easily

>Elementals: Most primitive of the minion subtypes, but come in one of the 4 common elements of the universe: earth, fire, air, and water.

Choose starting Planetoid

Arid: Dry, rocky world with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. The dust-covered terrain consists largely of mesas and canyons. Forests can be found in the more temperate polar regions, but vegetation is otherwise scarce.

Desert: Dry, rocky world with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. Precipitation and major bodies of surface water are relatively rare. Significant temperature variations between day and night cycles. Vegetation is scarce, but even moderate precipitation can make the desert bloom.

Savanna: Rocky world dominated by dry, arid plains covered by a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. The small hydrosphere allows for brief wet seasons, but aside from a few ubiquitous grasses vegetation is largely concentrated around shallow oases.

Alpine: Mountainous world with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. Snow covers the mountaintops and frozen-over lakes dot the valleys. While the planet experiences the minimal seasonal vegetation is largely concentrated around shallow oases.

Arctic: Frigid, rocky world with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. The poles are big, and significant water deposits can be found permanently frozen as glacial ice. However, the planet experiences seasonal variations and the equetorial band is covered by vegetation.

Tundra: Cold and rocky world with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. Permafrost covers most of the surface except for the more temperate equatorial regions. A stable biosphere exists but vegetation is mostly limited to mosses and lichens.

Terran: Rocky world with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere, with an active and stable hydrosphere. It is usually balanced with many environments and weather patterns.

Ocean: A world where 90% of the surface is composed of a liquid mass instead of solid ground, with only small islands making up that solid portion of ground. It is usually very rich with a nitrogen-oxygen style atmosphere.

Tropical: Humid, rocky world with a thick nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. Seasons with significant precipitation are interchanged with drier periods. Most landmasses are covered in denese vegetation.

Jungle: A humid, densely packed world full of overt flora covering the entire planet. It has seasons of year world raised temperatures and extremely lush nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere.

SPECIAL PLANET TYPES

Tomb/Apocalyptic World: A near uninhabitable planet due to warfare, heavy pollution, asteroid impact, or generally being in its natural quasi-barren state. Only the most deadly, toughest, trapped, or generally stubborn lifeforms reside in a Tomb World.

Ecumenopolis: A city or a collection of cities that span that entire planet surface. Most of the time they are manageable be competant civilizations, but they can easily descend into crime ridden low-level anarchic chaos zones. They hold a ridiculous amount of population and most have the majority of their food resources imported.

Starting Scenario:

>Break Out!(medium)
——————
The batch of Biomen that have escaped came out from a top-secret facility of a terrorist organization high in the mountains. Now they have to figure out a way to stay alive while being hounded by an organization who probably does not wish for reigning government of the planet to know what they were up to.

>Ruined Lab (easy?)
——————
When the Biomen awoke, they found themselves in a vast underground facility. For now they only having access to the Bioconstruction Chamber where they were made, but beyond the chamber, they have no clue as to what is inside the facility.

>Crashed Landed(hard)
——————
The Biomen were fodder infantry aboard a Emac-Class Corvette-ship that was locked into engagement as a space battle is ongoing over the planet between the Biomen's owner civilization and the enemy one. The ship was blasted, killing most of the crew. The Biomen platoon survived however since they possessed an internal respiratory system, which meant they "breathed" from the inside- allowing them to Ki-fly to the surface of the planet from the destroyed Corvette. The cold of space killed many other men along the way however and even the re-entry burnt a couple to a crisp.

Landed the Biomen must make a decision, stay low and survive on the planet (retroactively being considered deserters) or continue to fight in the war of their owners- even with their finite numbers.

>Hijack(medium)
——————
The Biomen were a recent purchase of a merchant who wanted to bolster the men he had available to guard. He was foolish however since Biomen without a strongwilled handler get turned on- which is what exactly happened. The crew with their non-martial prowess and low Ki get annihilated by the Biomen. Now they orbit the strange Savannah planet the merchant was going to trade at, making plans to dock at the Land-Port. Start with a Yarger-Class Freighter, will be sought after by the killed merchant's Guild however.

A few Biomen would be in the command center of the Yarger starship, completely confused of what to do next. They had no idea how to control the ship or what any of the complex consoles and controls had meant. Suddenly in the center of room, a ping blares loudly. It comes from the Command Console where someone is hailing the ship.

A flurry of debate happens among the Biomen. In the end they agree that they should say something, in some endeavor to throw off suspicion from the recent slaughter they committed. This was frontier space of the nation of Tilea, so the Biomen MIGHT be able to get away from said suspicions that could be levied at them. A high amount of crazy things happen in frontier space.

There was only one problem however- the Biomen had no clue as to who should answer the current pinging command console. A select few Biomen have comparable intelligence with regular sapient life, as Biomen aren't necessarily grown for indepth thought- only combat. Even despite this though, some Biomen with strong personalities as mentioned before can persist.

>#21: Warrior type, mostly focused on close-combat techniques.

>#33: Stealth type, focuses on specialized Ki techniques to fry enemies from afar.

>#12: Psionic type. The natural flow of Ki in every lifeform across the universe allows some gifted enough with Ki manipulation to push motions with their mind with the aid of it.

>#2: Charismatic type. There is something about this Biomen.. he's just generally good in all social situations, even with the reality that he was only constructed for combat and being fodder.

>#8: Magic user. Biomen are usually very ungifted with magic due to the nature of how they are "spawned" into existence via technological means. This Bioman however has access to magic

It was completely obvious who was to go and speak to whoever was hailing the Yarger-Class Freighter starship. The assembled group within the command room all simultaneously looked toward #2, the one out of the entire platoon who could speak the greatest of them. #2 shrugged nonchalantly, figuring that he would be chosen due to this fact during the initial deliberations. #2 walks over to the command seat that used belong to the merchant the Biomen had killed off, sitting down.

The console was quite high due to #2's short size however, so he opted to stand on the seat padding and clicked the touch-screen of the console (he generally guessed how to use the console adeptly since he was little smarter than the average Biomen, even more so than those with unique developed personalities like himself).

Luckily there was an option for a video or a mere voice call, so #2 smartly clicked the voice call option since any visual on him would out him and his kin that they were rogue. Biomen don't usually answer hailings given to a Command Center of a starship.

"This is garrison #214 of the nearby Stardock a few miles away, we sensed some high Ki discharges aboard your vessel.. is everything alright?" the mic on the command console would blort out.

#2 waits semi-anxiously for a response, as the hailer didn't answer back for a good amount of time. "Copy. Putting you in for clearance to land." the hailer finally says. "Just tell me which specific area you want to dock at, the spaceport or landside? Despite being fresh this colony has multiple established landports." the garrison hailer adds.

This put #2 at a conundrum. Should it even land, considering the situation it and the rest of the Biomen were in?

On one hand he could go out by himself or go with a few other Biomen to wander around to understand to get some sort of bearing- it can chalk up any questions to them as errands being tasked by their master.

On another however, it would have to decide whether to go planet or station side.. each option with their own amount of difficulties. The station would probably be heavily guarded and armed, but an easier alibi for why the non-Biomen owners (who were deceased and already incinerated) weren't doing any tasks- only sending the Biomen out to things, can be explained more easier. The alibi would be easy since it was common for Minions of their type to do minuscule or labor intensive tasks station-side whenever an army or merchant armada docks.

Going planetside would probably bare a less strong presence, but the guards could check the ship to root out any smuggling of contraband. Frontier planets are notorious for this fact and the colonists of newly established planets always want goods banned by the reigning mother government. This could lead to the discovery that the Freighter isn't manned by anything but Biomen constructs, which would raise alarm.

#2 can of course decide for the Biomen to even not go with any of these options, but despite its intelligence, #2 does not understand complex machinery such as piloting an entire starship Freighter and doesn't even know where to go or how much fuel they have.

With seemingly little to work with outright, #2 deigns to dock at the spaceport a couple of light-miles north of the planet. This came however with a troubling fact- #2 and the rest of the Biomen who followed it's example to man a couple of other consoles aswell find that they don't have the slightest of clue of how to maneuver the Freighter starship. #2 will have to ensure his ad-hoc piloting "staff" don't botch the entire thing... while also ensuring he doesn't mess anything up too.

>Success

Surprisingly, #2 found the piloting the starship to be surprisingly easy. The half the processes seemed to be automated from where #2 was inputting commands at the command console, while the other Biomen at their stations with #2's direction were able to get a somewhat rudimentary understanding of how to maneuver and operate the ship functions to steer the vessel properly. Without a hitch the Freighter eases into the opened pad-gate of the landing pad to the Stardock, phasing through the atmospheric-shielding barrier and landing exactly on designated pad #421.

Now they had landed, but it was time to think of what #2 was exactly to do at this Stardock. Before that, it has to figure out who is even to come with it in the first place. Going out with everyone at once will raise suspicions.

#2 doesn't want to waste time himself. He makes a plan to have a couple of Biomen to out to get a lay of the Stardock before going out himself. He assembles a couple of men in the corridor near the exit airlock cycling chamber of the Freighter. He opts to have them go out in a band of three each in scores of a dozen, which will mean 36 in total of Biomen will be outside gaining knowledge of the Stardock, leaving 114 including #2 still onboard to guard the Freighter and try to brush off guards who want to inspect the ship.

With that all organized, the assembled squads all go out on scouting task.
——————
Hours pass with a couple of teams trickling in, until everyone comes back. Biomen despite being solely made for combat were always intended for skirmishes and combat, contravening the common thought they only had a singular purpose. With this in mind the teams easily remember the landmarks of interest, shops, and various places that may interest #2.

/Sites of Interest\

-|Mega-Bar|-: Of course, no interplanetary installation is complete without any source to drink oneself silly. This Bar however is humongous due to the fact that this frontier planet is in a space lane with high traffic, so as such, the accompanying Stardock will have a high amount of visitors. Here #2 can maybe hire some trained pilots with the doaks the merchant had before they killed him and his crew; or #2 can just get some general information of what's going on in the galaxy or where they even are. It is a certain fact that #2 and the rest were freshly made, so they understand nothing.

-|Stardock Market|-: The market is a ginormous chamber where multiple species of all walks are trading goods, currency, and market information all about. #2 really doesn't know what he would do here, but it's sure it would have fun considering it is charismatic oriented. It couldn't hurt to maybe get to understand barter too along with his natural good speech.

-|Garrison Barracks|-: This place is a big no-no due to the sheer fact that #2 and the others are technically murderers. Maybe #2 can check this place anyway, get a gauge of the Stardock's forces.

-|Residential Bloc|-: A section of the Stardock intended for long-term visitors or citizens that belong to the nation that owns this Stardock. #2 can't think of what it'll find there at all.

Enacting on the reports #2 got from the men he sent out, #2 decides heading to the Bar would be a good start into trying to gain some realizations of where they were and getting an attempt to hire someone or a whole crew for the matter, that could reliably pilot the Freighter. #2 had only flew a couple of short light-miles.. now imagine if it had to fly through a meteor shower or attempt to manage a FTL jump.. it couldn't imagine any good outcomes.

#2 and with 2 other Biomen he chooses head off outside the Freighter. Between the trio #2 had the lowest powerlevel (it could accurately guess without a scouter since Biomen are all naturally bonded to one another and can sense eachothers Ki signatures), while between the other two common fighter Biomen (the regular type who weren't charisma oriented like #2) had a powerlevel of about 1,355 and 1,455 (again, #2 couldn't determine accurate numbers without a scouter, only a gauge).

The landing dock, where the trio found themselves at, was unsurprisingly huge- like most things found in this bustling frontier Stardock. A plethora of beings would be seen walking, slithering, or hopping all about the dock. Wares would be shuffled on carts, garrison guards patrol about, and #2 could even see stalls set up even in the landing doc zone- space on the market place could be filled up or maybe just a couple of merchants thinking that the landing pad zone would be a good place to nab a few sales from visiting or departing travelers.

#2 and the other 2 with it shake off their wonderment, making way to where they were told where the Mega-Bar was. It was relatively hard maneuvering however as they were short, so they suffered the same fate as many other species that had similar predicaments when walking in multi-specie crowds; being bumped into incessant, being disoriented on where to go, and generally being ignored by the beings taller than the Biomen.

It was at this point #2 decides to simply fly over to where the Mega-Bar is located, it and the other 2 Biomen beginning to ascended little by little in the air- sparking some raised brows from among the teeming crowd. They were able to fly for a little bit before they were stopped abruptly out of nowhere.

"Hey! You blue-men! No visitors are allowed to fly without granted license!" the leader of a garrison guard squad says, flying over to them in turn.

#2 could listen, but it would take a longer time via walking than just flying over to where it needs ot be.

>Ignore the garrison guard and continue on flying

>To and persuade the guards

#2 soars to the front of the group to speak with the Stardock guards. The entirety of them was about 5- 2 more than #2 itself and the other 2 Biomen. #2 was sure that even with its poor understanding of Galactic Common, it can maybe ease the guards to let them fly or try to find some loophole to convince past them.

"We apologize, but a shipment is urgent for us to pick up from the manufactory bloc. We're cleared by our master to fly, he has a license already." #2 lies. The lead garrison guard nods in exasperated understanding.

"Alright, but hurry up with your flying! You can only go so far before blue-men get stopped again by another patrol." The lead would say. With that, they fly away somewhere else at high-speed, their Ki trailing behind them. Being a frontier Stardock, crime was almost always to be afoot. That fact probably saved #2 from being questioned further since the guards looked overworked.

Now that they were "cleared," they would continue on to where the Mega-Bar was said to be located. It only took a couple more minutes, but they finally sighted it on the 3rd floor platform. They would land quickly as to not become investigated upon by license seeking Biomen.

The entrance to the Mega-Bar would an extremely large semi-circled shaped opening. Through the opening, #2 and the rest from where they were even standing could make out the continuous blaring, flashing lights and the cheered sounds coming from the Bar. From outside it, a multitude of beings form a huge line to even get in such a place. It had seemed daunting to #2, even the stoic unfeeling unpersonality'd Biomen with #2 seem even more daunted.

The trio of Biomen surprisingly don't get any odd looks while they wait to get into the Mega-Bar. It was then #2 had realized that most of the beings waiting in line were civilian, so they didn't know the Biomen were technically Biorganic Weaponry that are utilized for military uses. Even then however, the Biomen were specialized enough that that common soldiery wouldn't be able to tell what the Biomen were- due to the sheer amount of unique species aboard the Stardock.

It was then #2 realized that easily they could be mistaken for another "legitimate" species entirely if need be, but #2 didn't even know when a tidbit like that would ever even come up in the first place.

The line went on for hours and hours until they were finally near the front, where the trio could hear a bouncers and an arguing group ahead of them.

"What do you mean we need a "pass!", we've been here mutliple times before!" The most irate of the group yells at the bouncer.

"Sorry, but today is the Governor's birthday. Only those who have purchased a pass can be let through." The bouncer says. This caused the most angry man of the group, who spoke earlier, to begin to charge up a ki blast in his right hand that would be pointed at the bouncer. The bouncer, of a species that possesses four arms(Shrekma), would smirk at this.

When the ki blast became fully charged, the belligerent man yelled, firing off a ki blast straight at the bouncer. The bouncer was leagues ahead in terms of power and training over the man and simply batted away his ki blast. What happened next was that the bouncer quickly after-imaged to where the offending man stood, high kicking him straight in the chin.

This sent the man hurtling straight to the wall of a building, crashing into the wall leaving an indent- before falling straight to the floor- beckoning out a wet scrunch noise from the height of the building he fell from. The rest of the party that was with him quickly rushed over to him as fast as possible.

The bouncer was nonchalant about the whole thing, briskly walking about to his post to process who was allowed in.

All #2 had learned from this was that it needed some sort of pass to even get in..

The plan goes in motion, the Bioman that went into the air to cause the distraction firing off a succession of ki blasts in the area at the Mega-Bar entrance, causing all who were waiting to get in the Bar to panic horrendously. This sparks an all-out riot of disorder, allowing #2 and the other Bioman that was with it to slip in easily due to being so small. "Oh my gosh, why are the bouncers doing that!" #2 yells loud enough for multiple people to hear when they ran inside.

This causes the panic'd line waiters to stare-down the various bouncers for the Mega-Bar. Before ANY bouncer could say anything, the line waiters would all jump them in unison due to the confusion caused by the Biomen. The one that was tasked with firing off the ki blasts hurries in a descent, lucky to not be seen, and joins #2 and the other one after they waited for it.

Inside the Mega-Bar the trio realizes that the people inside were completely unfazed by what was going on outside entirely due to how loud the music was. Couple that with the extreme lighting, #2 doubted only the people nearest to the entrance even saw what had happened. Even then, #2 doubly doubted the ones who finally could make it inside would care about happened since it could be seen the bouncers were being abused. It could just be chalked up to the line waiters being fed up with the bouncers and the pass ticket system that was in place.

#2 decides it be best to understand the general vibe of the Mega-Bar. Though how much of each section it can understand will probably be minimal. The Mega-Bar itself is probably the size of a medium-sized town put together. Regardless #2 and the other Biomen endeavor anyway.

The first significant portion the trio explore is of course the section that is closest to the entrance. Here it can be gauged that most of the new arrivals are here- such as themselves. It was more "commoner" derived as the more important would've simply been VIP's to get in earlier when the Mega-Bar opened or just well-connected enough to know that it was the Stardoc Governor's birthday and a ticket would be needed to get in. Within this in mind as touched upon before, most beings in this part were short-term tourists and visitors.

#2 decides it'd be to best find a counter manned by one of the numerous bartenders of this Mega-Bar to ask for the information it is seeking. This will prove difficult however, as of course the Mega-Bar was huge and teeming with various beings of walking about. This section alone while only being the first nearest to the entrance seemed to be the biggest- as if the designers knew situations where mostly visitors and tourists would be mostly confined to this area. The 3 Biomen attempt to find a bar counter where they can speak to a bartender.

It was very close to the fact that the trio would've be lost completely from the throng of beings in this first section alone. Not only were they short, the Biomen were continuously kicked around dozen of times as they attempted to find a counter. #2 almost lost hope, until the three of them finally spotted what they sought at last.

It was curious however. This counter wasn't as populated as #2 would think despite the high number of beings that are milling about in the first section alone. Maybe they seeking out more popular counters. This would work for Biomen however as they'd probably be serviced to more faster. Walking to the counter #2 counts 23 beings sitting at various parts of the circular bar-counter, while the bartender in the center of it was busy mixing drinks. The trio would take up unoccupied stools, with the caveat that they had to ascend up a little with flight due to the stools being too high for them.

While they waited to get served, #2 would look around the bar-counter to see who was in waiting too. To the closest left of them was a merchant accompanied by 4 private guards. To the right was a uniformed "Drox"- the species infamous for their genius and inventions- who seemed to be a scientist of some sort just based on it's attire. To the middle left of the circular bar-counter was a large red-skinned man and a "regular" looking woman who seemed quite deadly. They were however in common Battle-Armor, so they could just be grunts. Technically however, the Biomen were grunts too- so #2 was sure not to spark trouble with those two.

The trio would wait a couple minutes as the bartender manning this counter would take each order of each patron in a clockwise manner. Finally after the bartender was finished taking up the order of the merchant and his men, the bartender would come upon #2 and the other 2 Biomen. The bartender would raise a brow at the Biomen, seemingly dumbfounded as he had never seen a species like them before.. ever.

"Uh, how may I take your order?" He asks taking out a notepad from his uniform dress-coat and a pen from his right pocket.

#2 takes up the menu infront of it and pretends to read the options (it could not read well and only very slowly). "We will take 3 Val'aac beers and a bowl of onion rings to start us off."

The bartender nods, turning around to attend to the order. #2 will carry on speaking with the bartender was busy. "I had seen you were confused by what we are.. we're Dioden, a newly contact species a systems away from this one." #2 lies clearly. It leans on the counter to continue telling its tall tale. "Uh, we just recently made a jump at random to this region.. mind filling us in about the lay of it?"

The bartender would peer over his shoulder while he worked on preparing the order. "Hm? Oh sure, why not." He says, turning back to talk and work at the same time. The Biomen were in system SY214. The star of the system was a Class-K star, while 4 planetoids orbited it. Of the 4 planets, the one this specific Stardock is orbiting is called Smaa'la- the desert planet the merchant they killed presumably was going to trade at. This frontier system was owned by the Tilean Conglomerate, a major Gulden trans-stellar nation. Though from what was described of their appearance, #2 couldn't see any Gulden in this Mega-Bar or any part of this Stardock however. It must be due to the fact that his area is a major space lane traveled by many different species.

Beyond the space-border of Smaa'la were the other trans-stellar nations and what not to the north, but west was independent space unclaimed by any "civilized" society- a wild area full of piracy, smuggling, and space-bandit warfare. East and South would take the Biomen further into Tilean space if wanted.

#2 would absorb all this information readily, mulling it over in it's head. It didn't even notice when their order was ready and the other two Biomen were eating without him! The 3 were digging in and eating into their meal. #2 stopped for a moment to continue to think.

"Alright. Say, are their any pilots looking for work around here?" #2 asks the bartender who was briefly unoccupied. The bartender gives a similar confused look he gave when they first arrived to the counter. "A pilot, why would you need such a thing? Shouldn't your crew already come with such?" The bartender asks, letting out a slight chuckle.

>Our pilot died of a virus before getting a Stardock mandated vaccination

A silence permeates between the bartender and #2. After a while, the bartender will begin speaking again. "Yes of course, there are a couple of pilots who came by mentioning they were out of work. Do you want to me to refer you to anyone specifically?" He asks helpfully. #2 nods.

"Yes, I need someone with experience operating Freighters." #2 says. This catches the notice of the merchant who sat quietly drinking his wine while his private guards were standing behind him. Piqued, he enters the conversation.

"Freighter you say? You wouldn't to be a merchant by chance?" He would ask, fully turning his stool over to face #2. The lead Bioman nervously responds.

>Uh, yes, I am

After that is answered, the merchant would go back to drinking silently, no longer interested in the conversation. Before #2 could start speaking to the bartender again, the Drox mentioned earlier speaks up next. "You need a pilot? I happen to be a robotics retailer.. I have a pilot droid if you so wish." He informs coolly. He takes out his tab-phone, activating it, then can be seen scrolling for quite a bit. Finally he would then present out the tab-phone to show the aforementioned pilot-droid. #2 (as well as the other Biomen) were just created a few light-days ago however, so they had little to no knowledge with any robotics.

"Do you want to hear a starting price?" The Drox asks.

>Hear his price?

>No, we don't need a droid

>>4322343

At this the Drox goes a wide smile when #2 says that it wants to hear his price. "9500 creds." He says cleanly. This puts #2 in shock! That was very high price. It didn't even know the money it had with it was even considered the right type he was asking. All #2 had was "doaks," which could be a type of credits since they seemed to be electronic chips like the mentioned "credits", but #2 honestly didn't know.

A small bout of silence takes hold of #2, before it continues on the developing deal. "My, that's a very very high price.. Can we even test it before purchasing?" #2 implores to the Drox man. He would nod at this.

"I suppose that's fair. Come with me- don't worry, I'll pay for your order." He would say, taking out his credit chip master-card and instantly paying at the counter register, paying for both his and the Biomen's meal. "Let's go. My droid products are at my stall. We'll get it from there." The four of them would briskly walk through the multiple of beings all throughout the first section of the Mega-Bar, only this time it was more easier since the Drox was taller than the Biomen so the crowds were more split easily than when the Biomen arrived here.

They would make it out to the Mega-Bar entrance- from there the Biomen could see their handiwork. A whole bunch of Stardock garrison guards were at the scene questioning all the witnessed involved in the riot of before. The Mega-Bar entrance meanwhile in physicality is literally in Ki blast induced craters, rubble from recent fighting, and blood and bones as well. Half the bouncers could be seen handcuffed to the side, while the other half tried to explain the mysterious circumstances of the riot to the garrison forces to no avail.

The three mischievous Biomen chuckle under their breathes at the mayhem they caused. This catches the attention of the Drox, but he doesn't say anything.

#2 and the other 2 Biomen following the robotics merchant Drox find themselves in a high traffic corridor lane to wherever the Drox's stall was. While they were walking the Drox lightly looks over to the Biomen. "So.. why do you three Biomen really need a pilot of some sort? I know what you three actually are.. certainly not "Dioden" as you profess." He chuckles at the funny cover name the Biomen came up for themselves. At this the three Biomen stop in their tracks, shocked at being outed by the Drox. Though #2 was the quickest to snap out of this shock, as he had realized that this Drox was a scientist who mostlikely was in circles that dealt with Biorganic Weapons such as themselves.

>Huh? What are you talking about, what in the space is a "Bioman?"

>Ask what the Drox where do we go from here, will he out us?

>Since the crowd in this walk-way chamber lane is so huge, shoot a Ki blast at the back of the Drox. The Biomen are so small it's unlikely they could be seen.

>Ignore the Drox's question and keep following to where his stall is. Business is business.

>Ignore the Drox's question and keep following to where his stall is. Business is business

Let's see where this goes, he hasn't outed us yet that's a good sign
>>
>>4322373

As quickly as it came about, the other 2 Biomen also snap out of their initial shock just as #2. #2 decides to not answer the Drox, opting to merely continue following the robot merchant silently. The Drox doesn't push the question further, looking ahead again. If they were to get lead into some sort of trap, they would have to kill the Drox. #2 was sure if it even went that south, they'd just be able to steal the droid and bail the entire Stardock.

After a few more hours of walking, they finally make to the Drox's stall in the Marketplace. The stall itself was modest, not as flashy or showy as its neighboring ones- which was probably a testament to the seemingly low-key nature of the aforementioned Drox. "Though that isn't to say we can trust him outright. He holds to key to whether or not we get outed" #2 thinks to itself.

The three of them wait infront of stall as the Drox goes in the back. When he comes back, they see him wheeling a push-cart that has the droid they saw on his tab-phone, it being wheeled directly to the front of the stall where they were at. "Hm. Impressive. Can we see it tested?" #2 asks.

(cont'd)
>>
>>4322405

They head to the landing pad area of the Stardock. The Drox has the droid activated and has it enter a test Fighter spaceship. Watching from a vidcom, the Biomen see with wonderment at how well the droid pilots the Fighter with high precision outside in space near the Stardock. If the droid was with them in the beginning, they couldn't made it to the Stardock within minutes, instead of the hours it took them to even land on the Stardock.

#2 puts back on its poker face however, nodding in satisfaction. "Alright. It seems good.. about your pricing however."

The Drox clasps his hands together diplomatically. "Is there anything wrong with it? Do you want haggle out?" He would ask in an adept barter tone.

"Yes, 9500 credits is almost full of the credits with have." #2 answers. With that the two of them would haggle for hours and hours, not coming to any sort of agreement whatsoever for the appropriate price for the droid. Finally the Drox would have an idea.

"How about this.." The Drox opens up with. "I will loan you the droid. To pay off the amount, you Biomen will do some jobs I need done for me to pay of the price of the droid. Does that sound like a fair deal?" The Drox asks.

#2 mulled this over. It sounded really good, but the Biomen couldn't fathom why it would honor the deal once it got the droid for practically free. #2 realized a critical thing however: The Drox knew they were rogue Biomen of some sort, they just had to be due to the fact they were seeking a pilot. Not only could they be wanted for a theft, the Drox could out them at any time.. Though even with this in mind #2 could just forego such niceties and just leave off the pilot droid anyway, not caring about being exposed and not doing nuisance errands for the Drox..

>How does #2 respond?
>>
>>4322429
>Accept the deal

This could be the start of a good partnership
>>
>>4322436

"...Deal" #2 responds, crossing it's arms. The Drox nods his head affirmatively, tapping at his tab-phone to presumably recall the pilot droid from its test flight showcase. The Drox reveals its name to be Jan'ali Morcoke, a freelance scientist that specializes in AI development, with his robotic merchandising being a side-business to fund his own private research. What Jan'ali was in need of however was his own men, since his competitors with no abandon hire out a plethora of unsavory types to cut into his market over different resources. Jan'ali didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount of credits on mercenaries, so the Biomen turned up at just an opportune moment. Jan'ali had a roster of assignments that he sent for #2 to review at the command console of the ship.

Though the Biomen didn't have to attend to any of these matters immediately. The droid that was given to them by Jan'ali settles in nicely in the Command Center where it continuously does multiple diagnostics of a sort and weapons check for the ship, to see if the software encompassing them is up to date. The other Biomen sometimes harass the droid, but #2 is quick to stop the any potential damage to the complex machine.
