/qst/ - Quests

Were you to travel the stars, across this vast universe, no doubt tales of a mighty warrior race would reach your ears. Many speak of the Saiyans with awe and wonder, marveling at their power and aspiring to become like them. Others speak in hushed tones, of the fear and despair in facing the warrior race in battle. But one thing all agree on, is that standing against the might of the Saiyan race would spells certain doom. Many have tried, several going as far as to invade the Saiyan’s homeworld of New Salda. Yet every invasion has failed, defeated by the Saiyans and their most powerful warriors: the golden-haired Super Saiyans, and the green-haired legend who leads them. But once more they march, leaving their home behind and advancing into the heart of their enemy’s territory. Which side will triumph, and who will perish?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball world. Currently it is Age 749 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the radiant symbol of Saiyan might. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 34 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Karn has become one of the strongest beings in the entire universe.

Current Arc: The Great War

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After his kids appeared, fresh from their own war against the Hive, Karn teleported everyone to Freeza’s side. Lord Freeza revealed his most daring attack plan yet: using Kira’s Stand, you will be mounting a direct attack against High Charity itself with backup from the Black Dragons, led by Kano. After learning of the plan Karn took his kids to his quarters, then reminded of the words he spoke earlier challenged Raditz. And the boy, no, the man rose to the challenge, proving himself and pushing past his limits for Chaya. After taking him to the healing pods Karn spoke with the Saiyan he’d saved, and gave him advice. Then after a relaxing evening and uneventful night Karn awoke, and as we rejoin him we find ourselves working off some nervous energy in the early hours of the morning.

“Nine hundred ninty eight. Nine hundred ninty nine. One thousand.” you say, counting down your set of vertical pushups. And as you finish the last one fall towards your back, curling yourself into a roll that brings you easily back onto your feet. Walking over to the chamber you prepare to shut it down, when suddenly from the doorway you hear something. So instead of dropping the fifty times New Salda gravity you leave it up as a defense against a possible attack. But your paranoia was unwarranted, as you see none other than Lord Freeza himself in his fourth form walking in. “Hey.”

“Up early, I see.” he says, looking you over. “Or perhaps you haven’t slept yet either?”
“Nah, I’ve only been up a little bit.” you reply. “You okay?”
“Hmmm? Oh, I’m fine.” he replies, waving off your concern. “I can go days without sleep if necessary. But how about yourself? Our success today hinges on how well you can battle their jailers’ Stands.”
“Wait, they have-?” you start, but as you think through it a moment realize that of course they would. Only a Stand user could safely imprison another Stand user, and even then it would come down to their specific abilities. “Well, that makes things more complicated.”

“More difficult, perhaps, but not more complicated.” Freeza says to you. “Our objective is simple: kill them all. The jailers, their soldiers, whoever stands between us and their so-called Prophets. Especially Truth. We end him, and we end this war for good.”

Well, what now?
>Invite Freeza to spar with you a bit before you all leave on this mission
>Leave the chamber and get something to eat, it’s no good fighting on an empty stomach
>Keep going, see if Freeza wants to join you before the battle
>Go back to your room, and spend some more time with the kids before this battle begins

“I’m not planning on dying today.” you tell him, sitting down cross legged as you even out your breathing. “But I do need to focus on getting ready on this. I’m sure whatever they’ve got is unpredictable, and I have to be ready for anything.”
“Of course, I’ll leave you to it.” he says, walking back towards the door. But he stops and glances back, as if he wants to say something else, then turns back and walks out of the gravity chamber. You then turn your focus inward, towards that presence that exists almost-exclusively in your own mind. And a moment later he appears, standing before you. However, instead of his usual attire of black robes and cloak, today he’s displaying some sort of chitinous armor. They look almost organic, the shells varying in size from your closed fist to the size of your head, and seemingly cover everything but his hands, feet, and head.

“You must be nervous, if you are consulting me on this matter.” he says by way of greeting. “But I know little of these Stands you battle with. I can only see your own through my connection to you, after all. I cannot watch your back during this battle.”
“It’s not that, I’m confident I can handle any of the enemy head-on.” you tell him, speaking aloud despite having no need to as he’s in your mind. It just helps you think clearer. “But its these Black Dragons. I don’t trust them.”
“Mercenaries haven’t changed, even from my own time.” he says, you noting a hint of distaste in his voice. “They go where the getting’s good, and are the first to abandon a ship when it’s taking on water. To ensure their loyalty, you have two options: bribery or fear.”
“What do you mean?” you ask, unsure of exactly what he means by that.

“Ensuring the loyalty of paid guns can be done only one of two ways.” he says, speaking no doubt from experience. “Either you make the reward more than double the worth of their risk, so they won’t dare give up easily. Or you can make them fear you. Remember, mercenaries are guns for hire, not soldiers with dedication to your cause, so they will run at the first sign of real danger. Weak men do foolish things, but the one thing they won’t do is face what they perceive as certain death when there’s another out. Make achieving your goals a vastly safer option than having to face your wrath, and they’ll take the easy way out every time.”

“I don’t know.” you say, still uncertain. “There’s just something about their leader, that Kano. His people are dedicated to him, and wouldn’t hesitate to attack whoever he points to.”
“Then I suggest you ensure he’s loyal to you.” Bane replies. “Or at least don’t leave him your back.”
cont
>>
>>4591329
“Charismatic leaders with a following are some of the hardest to deal with.” Bane continues. “With their trust in him so absolute, on the other hand, you don’t have to worry as much. They won’t dare disobey their cherished leader. So convince him, through whatever means, that you are the safer path for him and his people than the alternative. Do that, and he’ll see you through this battle.”

“Hun, you okay?” Meloka’s thought suddenly enters your mind as she reaches out telepathically. “Nothing wrong, is there?”
“No, everything’s fine.” you tell her, rising back to your feet. “I just couldn’t sleep, so I got a quick workout in to get warmed up.”
“Okay. Breakfast is ready, if you’re hungry.”
“I’ll be up there in a bit.” you reply, Bane smirking at you a bit as he stands there. “Just gonna finish up down here first.”
“Don’t take too long, or there won’t be any left. The kids are really digging in.” she thinks to you, ending the mental link. You turn towards the door, but don’t make it a couple steps before the ancient Sith calls out to you.

“Karn.” he says, and for the first time in awhile see him hesitate a moment before speaking. “There may be something else I can do for you. Despite not being one of these Stand users myself, perhaps I can still assist you.”
“Assist me? How?” you ask him. You may need whatever edge he can provide you in this fight.
“While in this form, my ability to affect the world is rather limited.” he says, reaching out towards your hand. And you feel it, faint but there, as he tries to slowly lift your arm. But you fight against it, almost without conscious thought and resist his efforts. “But this pale shade is simply that. A shade of what remains. Take up my holocron. Take it with you, then I can summon my corporeal body to assist you in battle. And together, we can crush your foes and drink their despair.”

Well? What will you do?
>Accept his help, and take his holocron with you into this battle

Really tough choice, we want to reduce the amount of variables for stuff that can go wrong, but Bane might be just the ace in the hole that we need if that vision starts to come to pass.
Anyways, I like the write in, and I doubt the threat will piss him off too badly. He'll probably respect it as the sort of thing he would do.

“You know...” you say, pondering it a moment. That old Sith is a vicious killer, and would no doubt greatly enjoy slaughtering Covenant forces. But despite your time with him, he’s still an unknown factor here. If an enemy grabs the holocron from you, he may decide to help them instead of you. But his abilities are well-suited to battling an enemy unfamiliar with what he can do. And that lightning, you still remember how debilitating that attack was. His power could make all the difference in this all-important battle. “I’ll take you up on that offer. You’re in.”

“Excellent. It’s been too long since I’ve bathed in the fear of the weak.” Bane says, a cruel grin breaking out on his face. “This will be quite entertaining. But I’ll say this: once I’m summoned, I will only be able to keep my physical form for a short time. And if the enemy are able to somehow damage my corporeal form enough to disperse it, it will be some time before I’m able to rebuild it. So use my power wisely.”
“I will.” you reply, Bane nodding once and vanishing. That decided you deactivate the gravity chamber, opening the door for whoever wants to use it next. You wash up in the attached shower unit, air dry yourself mostly dry then with a moment’s focus vanish. One instant you’re standing in the doorway, and the next you’re standing beside Meloka in your common area’s mess. “Hey hun, any left for me?”
“I saved you a bit.” she replies, you digging in to a small plate of something delicious. It’s some sort of gamey meat wapped in sweet breading, you devouring it all down in less than a minute. Not enough to really fill you up, but sometimes going into battle hungry makes you that much more vicious.

After getting a quick bite you return to your bedroom, undressing out of your still-damp training clothes and getting dressed for war. You put your armor on, sling both of your weapons across your back, then turn to the bedside table. Sitting there unassumingly is the ancient Sith holocron, it’s red and gold decorative exterior making it seem little more than a bauble one’d collect on their journeys. But you walk over and gently pick it up in your left hand, your hand nearly onscuring it completely. Best to not show your hand early.

“You’re taking that with you?” Chilli asks, you turning around and seeing your son standing there and looking up to you curiously. “You know there’s a malicious spirit trapped in there, right?”

Well now, how do you answer that?
>Of course. I’m taking him to fight with me, since he can’t die
>Ask Chilli how he knew Bane was in there?
>Tell him that it’s far safer with you than risking the Black Dragon goons getting it and turning it on you all
>Tell him you don’t want anyone accidentally grabbing it while you’re gone, and change the subject.

“Wait, you-right, you were probably taught about spirits and stuff by Raven, right?” you ask, Chilli giving you a nod. “Did Raven, or the late Guardian ever tell you about Holocrons?"
“Wait, that thing’s a holocron too?” he asks, brows furrowing. “I thought they were all dodecahedrons, like the G-!”

And while talking, suddenly his eyes go wide and he covers his mouth with both hands.

“Chilli, you okay?” you ask, your son nodding once sharply. “Something wrong?”
“Raven asked me not to tell anyone.” he says, then to you telepathically. “But she has a holocron too.”
“I’ll have to ask her about mine, when we get back.” you say to him. “Well, anyways, this guy’s Bane. He's the one that's been teaching me Djem So, and some of his other techniques. He wants to come out and kick some ass with us, being stuck in a pyramid that can only invade peoples heads gets boring apparently. Speaking of, he tried to get in your head awhile back, or do you not remember?”

“Of course I remember.” he says, sounding a little annoyed. “And I obliterated it’s presence when it tried to invade my mind. Which is why I asked Raven about it.”
“Anyways, its good your here.” you say, changing the subject. You talked with him before, about how he obtained that spine-chilling tome you saw before, but you know there has to be more to it than that. “I know I don't have much room to talk, holding this holocron here, but who gave you that book of yours? And, more importantly, what was the price? Nothing that powerful is ever free.”
“I got it from The Forgotten Scribe.” he says, snapping his left hand’s fingers. As he does that book simply appears, and as he touches it his hand and forearm once more appear skeletal. “After I fixed Chaya’s sword, he somehow brought me into his realm. I get this book and all the magic inside as long as I keep killing undead, and those that summon them.”

“Those ancient magics are not a toy to be wielded by children.” Bane says, appearing beside you once more decked out in his armor. And to your surprise, levels a hand at your son with lightning dancing through his fingertips. “Dare not take such dangerous, primal forces lightly, boy. You know not what you do.”
“I know enough to recognize an undead lingering past his time.” Chilli says, drawing his sword from over his shoulder. And as he draws the blade slightly luminous pale crystals begin sprouting out along it’s length. “Now get back inside your defiant little prison, or face oblivion.”

For several seconds neither moves, the only sounds are of the sparks dancing in Bane’s fingertips. Then to your surprise Bane moves first, lowering his hand and ending the sparks as he smirks.

“Should you ever seek true power, abandon that old fool’s endless duty and join me.” Bane tells him, his body slowly disappearing from the feet up. “There is much I could teach one such as you.”
“Hey, listen to me.” you say, the Sith turning towards you. “I’m interested in fighting with you alongside me, but I’ll be warching you. And if you try and betray me, I’ll erase you myself.”
“You ever betray my dad, or hurt my family, and I’ll make sure you’ll suffer until the end of time.” Chilli says, getting the last word in just before the ancient Sith’s form vanishes completely.
“I think he likes you.” you say after a moment’s akward silence, you son’s jaw dropping a bit at your casual dismissal of the whole thing before he just starts laughing. You laugh as well, letting the tension in your shoulders relax as Chilli disappears the book and re-sheathes his sword. Crystals shatter and drop to the ground, vanishing within seconds after being seperated from his sword. You then remember he didn’t leave with a sword, and are about to ask him about it, when it happens.

“Everyone, it’s time.” Freeza thinks to you and more than a dozen other people simultaneously. Including Chilli, you both nodding to each other once then make your way back downstairs.
“Everybody ready?” you ask, your old crew looking confused but everyone in the know looking ready to go. Especially Caulifla, wait. She didn’t have those bottles when she came through the portal yesterday, did she?
“Here! Momma, Daddy, I got you each one.” she says, handing both of you a small, delicate looking stoppered glass vial. “I can’t be there to patch you up, but take these! They can fix you right up, no matter what kinda damage you take!”
“Those things work really great.” Chaya says. “But how do you keep getting them?”
“People give them to me sometimes when I help them out!” she says, you noticing the pendant she got from the underground M’lurnian ruins on New Salda. Seems that she’s still traveling time and helping people, and being rewarded with ample treasures. “I got two last night, here take them!”
“Thanks kiddo.” you say, taking the vial. It’s surprisingly heavy, and doesn’t feel fragile in your hands. So you loosen your tail around your waist, just enough to slide it between tail and armor then ruffle your daughter’s hair. “I appreciate you lookin’ out for your old man.”

“Is that everyone?” Meloka asks, you nodding to her after scanning the group. Then without a word she brings her hand to her forehead, and you all are teleported back to that training room. You all appear next to Freeza, Arctus, and King Vegeta, along with more than a dozen of his Royal Guards in their Super Saiyan forms. This is it.

But as you look around, something doesn’t feel right. Vegeta’s Royal Guard are all spaced evenly apart around the chamber, except to your left. There two guards are standing quite a ways apart, nearly spaced enough for a third to be standing between them. Anf on a hunch you open your ki senses, and sure enough there’s another powerlevel there. A rather high powerlevel at that, nearly twice as strong as the other guardsmen. Yet before you can really react Vegeta thinks directly to you.

“Galick’s there, don’t blow his cover.” he tells you telepathically. “He’s in one of the experimental stealth suits the team’s been working on. Made with the splitjaw’s own tech, if anyone tries acting up he’ll put them down.”
“Good thinking.” you say aloud, nodding to the king before addressing Freeza. “We’re here. Let’s do this.”
“Let us begin.” he says, then addresses the Black Dragon woman directly. “Kira, if you would.”
“Traveling Man, let’s go.” she says, her Stand appearing in the middle of the room. You watch it’s shadow, and it quickly transforms into a portal to another place. Almost as soon as her portal’s complete, several people begin walking up and out of it, shielding their eyes against the bright light of the sealed training room.

“Welcome to the Lucrehulk, proud flagship of the PTO’s fleet.” Freeza says, stepping forward and addressing the half-dozen people calmly. “You are now under our hospitality, so I expect you all to behave yourselves while I’m gone. If not, well...Caulifla? Chilli?”

And without a word your son unleashes his magic, encasing all six of them from the waist down in crystal within two seconds. Each one summons a Stand in response, but look around confused as the only other Stand they can see is Caulifla’s.

“KIIIIIIIIIII!!” it caws, belching a column of fire over their heads.
“Then you answer to us.” Chilli tells them, again holding that spellbook for effect. And it clearly works, all six of the Black Dragons not going to war with you seeming sufficiently intimidated by your children.
“Behave yourselves guys, I’ll be back with the boss soon as we end that bastard Truth.” she says, Freeza not waiting and walking through the portal confidently. You and Meloka follow Freeza into High Charity, after your wife hands Karn Jr to Arctus. You walk into the hole, stepping out just behind Freeza and across from a few other Black Dragons you recognize from your previous visit. King Vegeta follows a moment later, Kira bringing up the rear and ending her Stand’s effect. “Alright boss, this is everyone. Let’s do this.”

“First thing’s first, we gotta get outta this cell.” he says, gesturing to the bars. “Don’t suppose you lot got a key?”

Meloka walks up to where the key lock is, floats up level to it, and with a quick “HAAAA!” and a swift jab snaps the lock’s bar. On fact she hits it hard enough that the door flies right off it’s hinges, smashing into the empty cell across the room.

“Well, ‘at’s one way.” he says, drawing his knife in his right hand as his twin Black Dragons coil around his arms. “Alroight, let’s move. We got maybe ten, twelve seconds ‘fore they’ll be checkin’ that sound. Now, what’s the plan?”

Focusing on your ki sense you can feel four approaching energy signatures, two each from the left and the right of the door. So you draw your sword, and pass it to your left hand while bringing your right up to your forehead.

“Which two do you want, left or right?” you ask her, feeling the Black Dragons’s stares on your back as you transform into your Super Saiyan form. Meloka turns to you, drawing her ki blade in her left as she mirrors you.
“I’ll take the left.” she replies, you nodding to her and focusing. “On my mark, three, two, one.”
“Go.” you both say simultaneously, while using your Instant Transmission. You appear behind a pair of creatures, one a Sangheili and one a metal-seeming humanoid. And before they even know what’s happening, you swing. The splitjaw never even knew what happened, your blade biting into it’s neck and coming out below it’s right shoulder in a spray of blood. But as your swing continues suddenly it stops, crashing against that metal armor with a resounding clang.

“What the-?” the metal being says, your powerful blow staggering the metal man. As he takes a quick balancing step he turns, revealing a normal-seeming humanoid’s face inside the bulky suit of armor. “Oh shit! You’re the guy, that Saiyan!”
“HAAAA!!” you roar, twisting with the recoil from your strike to slam a ki-clad fist square into his face. Yet whatever armor he’s wearing seems able to protect his unarmored face too, as you see when the smoke around his head from your attack thins. “What?”
“You can’t kill Za Metaru!” he says confidently throwing an almost slow-motion punch at you. Which is laughably easy to dodge, you gripping your sword in both hands and smashing it with your full power under his arm. Yet the man’s armor holds, and this time your blow doesn’t even budge the metal man. “Za Metaru is much to strong, even for you! You may have killed the Arbiter, but I am unkillable!”
“So that armor’s your Stand, huh?” you say, taking a single step back out of his slow punches’ range. “Tch, how annoying.”

Well? How do you respond?
>Summon Divine Dragon Force, pit your Stand’s power against his durability and see who yields first
>Grab him with your telekinesis, then throw him back down the hallway he came from
>Slash the floor beneath him, see if he can even fly wearing armor that cumbersome
>Try and grab his throat through the armor with your telekinesis
>Get behind him and pull the fighter down onto his back. As encumbered as he is, he might not be able to get back up

“Huh. I gotta admit, your Stand’s one of the toughest I’ve seen.” you say, raising your right hand. And reaching out with your mind, reach past his stand, and even his neck, and grab onto his throat itself. “But are you strong?”

As soon as you finish speaking you squeeze your hand, cutting off the Stand user’s air flow. He tries to speak but can’t, reaching up towards his neck in a futile attempt to somehow pry away your grip. But it’s useless, the armored man taking an unsteady step towards you. But you simply take a single step back, matching his stride so he doesn’t get any closer to you. He tries taking another three steps, but on the fourth one stumbles. The Stand user trips and falls to the ground. He rolls around another moment or two, flailing desperately. But then he falls still.

“All too easy.” you say, turning back from him towards Meloka and her two she’d gone to kill. And killed them she did, both laying in several bloody pieces on the ground. Kano whistles as he sees Za Metaru lying still on the ground behind you, his stance shifting a bit away from you. “Alright Kano, which way?”
“Never thought I’d see that metal bastard fall.” he says, almost to himself before shaking his head. “The left path, let’s go.”
“Hold on. Karn, Kano, take point.” Freeza says, taking charge. Meloka, you and Erron Black take the rear. Make sure anyone who tries to sneak up on us dies, and make sure it’s painful. Everyone else, focus on protecting Kira. Her ability is our ticket off this station.”
“Take my left side.” you say to Kano, walking up towards Meloka as she moves to bring up the rear. “I’ll watch the right.”
“Why should I?” he asks, a challenging note in his voice. You feel the energy in the hallway shift, and take on a more dangerous edge as everyone looks to you two.
“This is your chance.” Bane tells you telepathically. “This could determine how these so-called Black Dragons see you, moving forward.”

How do you handle this?

“Look. If you want our help, you have to do as we say. Since I’m here now, I can just use my Instant Transmission and take me and mine right back to my ship whenever we want.” you tell him, not advancing towards him but not backing down either. And with the musculature gained with your Berserker form, you absolutely tower over the man now. “When we're out of this damn shithole, you can brag for your men all you want. But until then just try and work with us since we're your only lifeline.”

Kano narrows his eyes at you, the tension ratcheting up another notch. But after a moment he sighs out, giving an almost-subtle gesture with a finger. You feel his people standing down as one, but don’t look away from the mercenary.

“Aight, I’ll follow ya lead. For now.” he says, taking up a position on the left side of the hallway. “Black Dragons, form up. Eyes open, don’t let anything past you. Tasia, you’re my second. Now, lead on, our gracious saviors.”
“Let us get moving.” Freeza says, ignoring the jab in Kano’s voice and cutting though the remaining tension easily enough. The mood quickly settles into a professional quiet, no one speaking but Freeza. “Others have no doubt heard that ruckus, let us advance. Kano, you know the way. Lead on.”
“Roight. Folla’ me.” he says, advancing down the hall. You all move with him, everyone doing their best to soften your footfalls. Except for Freeza, his feet making their unique sound on the ground. You don’t hear any of the Black Dragons’ footsteps, except for the one who’s wrapped himself in boulders. He calls you all to a stop at the first intersection, glancing out towards the left. And immediately ducks his head back around the corner. “Shit, get down!”

KABOOOOM

A massive explosion rocks the hallway, shrapnel flying wildly. You don’t have time to activate your Barrier, and simply shield your face with your left vambrace. And before the smoke can even begins to clear, you see something odd. A bright red, oblong orb is drifting through the smoke towards you.

“The hell?” you mutter, watching for a moment as it drifts closer. You then realize that that thing is probably what just exploded, and you have to do something!

But what do you do?

With perhaps only a moment to act, you focus your ki behind your eyes then fire it as a pair of powerful Eye Beams. The instant they connect with that red orb it explodes, your sight disappearing inside the blast. But you don’t lose focus, instead using your ki sense you find another pair of mid-level powerevels just around that corner. So you focus on them, as your twin beams fly through the space just between them. Then, before either can turn around, you redirect the beams. Each one turns abruptly, blasting back straight through the back of their heads and passing back by over your shoulders. You end the attack, turning towards where you’d seen Kano leap back moments ago.

“Kano, you alright?” you ask, seeing a woman with two unusual-seeming swords standing defensively over the leader of the Black Dragons.
“Ya can move now, Tasia.” he says, the woman taking a step towards where the blasts went off and standing between him and any potential danger. “I’m sure he already got ‘em.”
“Two potential users down.” you tell him, focusing your ki sense and trying to sense for any others. But you don’t feel anyone else nearby, the others no doubt keeping themselves clear of their wildly-destructive ally. Late wildly-destructive ally, that is. “We’re clear for a little bit.”

“That was Red Balloon.” Kano says, brow furrowed. “He’s one Truth likes to keep near himself as a bodyguard. If he’s down here...”
“Then Truth may have suspected you were turning coat.” Freeza says, who appears completely unconcerned with what just happened. In fact he doesn’t even have any of the dust kicked up from the blast on him, still looking spotless. “But no matter if he thinks he’s ready or not, our goal hasn’t changed. He dies, today.”
“If he knows we’re comin’, we don’t stand a snowball’s chance in ‘ell.” Kano says, shaking his head and turning to Kira. “Open another portal. If you fucks wanna die that’s your call, but I’d rather live.”

“Run away if you want. But do you have any idea what will happen to you if you do?” you hear Freeza ask, everyone including you turning towards him. “I left express orders with my cousin, and the General here’s children. If any of you appear without at least one of us, you and your people’s lives are all forfeit. They will slaughter you, and your entire clan without a single moment’s hesitation. So if I were you, I would think rlong and hard before trying to turn tail and run away. So I’ll ask you once, and once only: are you going to stick to your word, and see this battle through to the end? Or would you rather I simply end you myself, right here and now?”

And suddenly you understand what Bane was trying to explain about fear earlier. Looking around, each and every Black Dragon is looking at Freeza and only Freeza. You doubt any of them would dare challenge him now.

QM MESSAGE

Since two autists are still going at it, I want to clarify for the people not waving their millimeter peters. For that Kano vote I gave you all two real choices. Antagonize him, or try to build trust. Kano’s whole angle there was entirely to see how you’d react to him, and to challenges to your authority. And in his eyes you failed. You didn’t act like a leader.

>>4593286
He was really surprised with how you acted. Despite everything, Karn IC usually doesn’t take preparing for upcoming battles that intensely. Your apparent worry has him even more concerned, and he was going to mention it. But decided to not distract you. Then after the first contact, and how hard you immediately went against the four Stand users and even Kano, he’s more and more concerned about just how big a threat these Stands can be. But he’s really good at keeping his cool.
>>4593357
No. Actually he’s retiring from the more adventurous lifestyle, planning to live out the rest of his days comfortably
>>
>>4593402
>ctually he’s retiring from the more adventurous lifestyle, planning to live out the rest of his days comfortably
But will he pass on his knowledge of Hamon before he goes senile?
>>
>>4593402
Yeah, I get Kano's reaction. I think where people got mixed up was while the "dick-measuring contest in a combat zone" option was obviously incorrect, the choice to build trust wasn't immediately clear that it'd do that. Since we had just been advised by Bane to control through fear it seemed like a good idea to go for a softer write-in that would remind him we're his ticket to saving his crew instead of realizing butting heads at all didn't fit the moment like we should have.
>Joseph is still planning to retire and take it easy
I can't blame him after the stuff he's seen in this timeline lmao

Oh no. Not only we are not going to find the Stand Dagger, but:
>In his rising desperation, when other Prophets were not nearby, Truth stabbed his 「Lyin’ Eyes」 with the Stand Knife.
>Dagger was permanently absorbed into the Stand
>「Lyin’ Eyes Requiem」 new powers are staggering.
>Other Prophets are both impressed and relieved (since it can give Covenant victory) as they are afraid.
>They are in the "throne room" where Truth is currently trying and demonstrating his Stand's new abilities while getting increasingly "drunk" with power.

>>4594824
Perhaps despite our best efforts finding the Arrow in the Dagger form won't be possible. Though I have hope we will find it. If we actually manage to get it and use it on Divine Dragon Force then it may need a new color palette swap. Though I like our current Red Gold scheme very much too.

If I remember correctly (and this might just be a common fancanon thing), you need a different stand-granting tool to force evolution/requiem, right?
So if you got a stand from a specific arrow, you'd need a different arrow to cause it to evolve
>>
>>4595375
Hmm, I don't remember reading anything like that.
>>
I was thinking, as interesting as those other colors look, our current red color seems to look best to me, so losing it permanently like our former green would be a bit sad.
>>4595375
Perhaps you a right. I'm not going to deny, because I don't know. This would mean that Truth cannot upgrade his own Stand, since it seems like they only have 1 dagger in the whole Covenant.
However if what you say is true, then our Divine Dragon Force could theoretically be still affected by their artifact, since Karn obtained his Stand naturally.
>>
>>4595355
Personally a fan of this one
>>
>>4595375
SQR MHA/Jojo/Chainsawman?(unconfirmed) joint continuity lore autist here. There are 3 primary ways to get a Requiem Stand. Method one is the obvious one, using a requiem stand weapon, but the acquisition of requiem stand isn't exclusively tied to this method. It is possible to get a Requiem Stand from a standard Arrow if your desire is strong enough. This example is demonstrated by Kira at the end of part 4 when he acquires bites the dust. The final method is by the mastery of a supernatural art, as shown with Johnny and Tusk Act 4.

Each of these methods have their own unique traits to them. The Requiem Weapon can grant a Requiem stand to just about anyone who uses it and it automatically separates from the user's stand and can be re-used after that Requiem stand has fulfilled the desire of the user. If the same user stabs themselves again they will get the same stand as their first manifestation as shown with Silver Chariot Requiem.

Getting a Requiem stand from a standard arrow is a lot more complicated. It's shown that Stand Weapons have a form of quasi-consciousness, likely driven in part by the virus coating the weapon seeking out a host to facilitate evolution. In rare circumstances a weapon will be so acutely drawn to a being's desires that it sees them as a perfect host and the weapon flings itself into the perspective host to be assimilated into their body. This is very much a permanent bonding and the weapon can never be recovered, even after the host's death.

The final method is through a mastering a force of nature. The Stands manifested with this method are more tied to the type of magic karate being used and less with the user itself. The stand takes on the characteristics of the fighting style and with it all of it's strengths, weaknesses and risks.

There's a fourth hypothetical method of acquiring a Requiem using the Rokakaka fruit but this is very much in the realm of theory and has never occurred in the canon material. I hope this clarifies things a little.
>>
>>4594824
Remember, a Requiem Stand is created for a goal. Like Chariot Requiem was created with the goal of “protect the arrow” and GER was made with “Defeat King Crimson” as it’s ability.
>>4595355

>>4595375
A good question. But, think back to Part 4 when that very thing happened
>>4595389
>since Karn obtained his Stand naturally.
Oh wait, you all actually don’t yet know how Dragon Force first came to you. Man I cannot wait until we get to the arc where I get to finally unveil everything I’ve been hiding and crafting behind the scenes.
>>4595409
I do want to correct you a little bit. The Arrow(or dagger in this case) does have to CHOOSE who gets a Requiem Stand/ability. The Arrow stabbed Kira in part 4, he didn’t stab himself or Killer Queen
>>
>>4595409
>This example is demonstrated by Kira at the end of part 4 when he acquires bites the dust.
Not officially a Requiem Stand, but close enough that I’ll concede it as one.
>The final method is by the mastery of a supernatural art, as shown with Johnny and Tusk Act 4.
This just sounds like headcanon. Could you give a more in-depth explanation for this one?
>>
>>4595423
>Oh wait, you all actually don’t yet know how Dragon Force first came to you
Wait...is Dragon Force actually different from the dragons that appear in other instances of the Dragon Fist technique?
Also on the note of stands, does Future Chaya have conscious control of her Dragon Force, because if she does we should really teach her some of its gimmicks.
>>
>>4595423
>Ha. It’s possible. Or it could be much, much worse. Not related but, when that bomb went off and you spent your entire focus on your Guided Eye Beams, did you drop something?
Well unless you updated the Pastebin we could never know. My money's on Bane's Holocron since everything else should stay on by itself. Unless its the soul stone but I'm pretty sure we left that with Aku/on the ship
>Oh wait, you all actually don’t yet know how Dragon Force first came to you. Man I cannot wait until we get to the arc where I get to finally unveil everything I’ve been hiding and crafting behind the scenes.

Yes, Dragon Fist is just that. But Dragon Force is something entirely different. Goku and Ace, for instance, don’t have Stands.
Yes, but she doesn’t like how fragile it makes her so rarely uses it, much less keep it out for long. She’s seen some of what you did with it before it transformed, but hasn’t figured out the crazier things.
>>4595444
It wasn’t something physical you dropped
>How long have you been holding onto this man?
Since about two chapters after I revealed you had a Stand and not just a flashy attack. Also it would just be 「Dragon Force Requiem」but the sentiment stands. And I promise if I ever drop the quest, due to irl or something else, I will reveal many of the conceptual events that led us all here. Like another two, that are both interesting and NOT simply gameplay mechanics I use to speed things along sometimes: how did Karn defy fate so well that the SKoT can’t figure it out(yet knows something messed with time there)? Or what force(or forces) causes Karn to act when he’s indecisive and cannot choose a path?
>>4595449
It is still on your hand, you only remove it when you turn a Gravity Chamber on.

>Several Karns have gotten it to work, and others haven’t. But the question is what’s the difference between them?
Honest rough guess? Purity of heart. I imagine a Karn who acts in what they feel is morally just and correct, and constantly is aiming to do what they perceive as the right thing allows them to outweigh the evil or darkness present in their soul due to the angel and those they've killed enough that they can perform the god ritual. Am I anywhere close?

Would simply skip Berserk 3
>>4595502

If canon Vegeta can make it work, then there’s no reason Karn’s heart wouldn’t be ‘pure’ enough. But it is the Berserker state that causes it to fail, Saiyans who almost always become consumed by their power and destroyed.

>>
>>4595642
Shit forgot my reply to your post, my bad anon.
Nothing King Crimson, or really any other Stand shown thus far can actually affect Za Metaru. From timestops to Death 13, sniper rats to reality warpers, their abilities don’t actually affect Za Metaru.
>>
>>4595713
Oh, I get it. Their game plan was for Za Metaru to bog down any prison break attempts while Red Balloon spammed explosions without really needing to worry about friendly fire.
Brutal, guess we really lucked out going for the choke instead of our stand.
>>
>>4595713
Death 13's whole thing is that it's supposed to take effect when a user's stand isn't available to them, because you have to have it summoned as you go to sleep to summon it in your dreams
>>
>>4595719
You don’t even know what his partner or the two Meloka cut down’s abilities were either. But I’ll say that you’re right on the money with the play: they were all augmentation type Stands to delay you until the heavy hitters could wipe out the Black Dragons. You chose the best possible option by going for the immediate simultaneous sneak attacks. If you had chosen another option and the others had activated their Stands(Za Metaru is permanent, and is always up), you’d probably still be fighting them and Red Balloon’s first attack would have been the pausing point of the episode. Wouldn’t that have been even more intense?
>>4595727
>isn't available to them
Za Metaru is permanent. It doesn’t activate and deactivate like a punch ghost. It is kinda like that one annoying shit that latched onto Rohan’s back or the towering Superfly in that way. Sure you could go into the user’s dreams, but this Stand is still going to be right there. If you hadn’t learned Telekinesis, or a few other specific abilities you have/could have taken up to now, you would not have been able to even hurt the user.

Also, MAILBOXES AREN’T PARKING METERS!

So what you're saying is we should have just depressurized a section of the ship/station/settlement and locked him in that compartment.

I’ve shot some of my late grandfather’s ammunition that he’s had since the 70s/80s(and clearly forgot about in the basement under a table)and it’s fine. The only real way ammunition goes bad is improper storage. Keeping it in a cool, moisture-free environment far from ATF faggots will give your stockpile the longest shelf life.

Maybe we've been using them wrong for years. Or maybe the ATF have been hitting two out of the three way too hard and have no idea about the last one.

As I understand it the ATF were originally a Prohibition fed agency, then kept getting shuffled around instead of deleted and their resources redirected elsewhere. Gotta keep that cushy taxpayer money coming in.

It's that or the Unggoy chambers AKA the floor of their personal quarters.

Funny enough they mention in one of the books that sanghelli have trouble using ladders due to their backwards legs. The brutes actually laugh at them for it.
>>
>>4599377
Wasn't there a Brute who had ladders installed on his vessel specifically so he could laugh at the Sangheili who tried to use them?

It was more due to the fact that they wouldn't allow him to fix the gravity lifts because the brutes were deemed well... brutes by the hierarchs. Still silver linings and all that. I believe it was mentioned in the contact harvest book.
>>
>>4599391
Oh yeah...I kinda forgot about all the Covenant plot in that book, good reminder though.
We should work on getting all of the Huragok onboard High Charity onto the Lucrehulk.
As far as I know, they're not big on the Great Journey and are likely being held as captives right now.
>>
I hope everyone’s ready for the war, you’re gonna be up against some of their real heavy hitters now. Stands like False King, Slow Rider, Better Man, Loco Motion, Comfortably Numb, and Lucky Man could each be a real challenge for you, much more so if certain ones are fighting together. You all are gonna have to be on top of your game if you want everyone to make it out of this raid alive.
>>
>>4599579
Then we need to strike with overwhelming force right out the gate. No holding back, no testing the waters. We also need to make sure we're doing simultaneous attacks as often as possible to overwhelm as fast as possible. No sense in going slow. This is a raid, not a siege.
>>
>>4599579
So what's stopping us from using our Ki Sense to track Truth's position and Final Flashing him from like 10 floors below?
>>
>>4599605
I don't believe we know his ki signature, He's also liable to not have a powerlevel above like 100, or any number of other reasons that can't be revealed due to plot reasons that we can't accurately aim at him through a space station.
>>
>>4599614
Well, High Charity is only about 350 kilometers in diameter. I figure if we do a Couple's Final Flash we should be able to cover just about every inch of the station above us.

Possible idea, but maybe we don't need to do all of this. Just take a moment grab him with telekinesis and choke till his Stand disappears. Then it will be sure he really died.
Also what is stopping us from grabbing his heart with telekinesis and crushing it right now instantly? From what I understood Za Metaru's user is just a regular, not very strong humanoid behind indestructible Stand, so it seems possible to do in theory.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The Battle of High Charity has begun! Karn, along with Freeza, Meloka, King Vegeta, and the Black Dragons’ own Kira, went through one of her Stand’s portals to appear inside High Charity’s prison complex. With their combined power, and the aid of the Black Dragons more competent fighters, the PTO’s most powerful warriors have arrived with a single goal in mind: kill Truth and the other Covenant leaders, who call themselves prophets. After Karn and Meloka killed the first four Stand user guards, or at the very least completely incapacitated them, Kano challenged Karn’s authority just in time for another user, Red Balloon to attack. Karn retaliated and killed both the user and another approaching. Kano realized that Truth has to know something’s up and attempted to leave, only for Freeza to show how intimidation is truly done. As we rejoin Karn, the hallway is entirely silent.

“Well now, that is how intimidation is done.” Bane says to you, his form not appearing to you nearby. “It isn’t only about physical power. In fact, the most effective threats rarely involve direct force. At least from the one issuing it.”

You choose not to reply, instead making sure your tail still has a firm grip on both the bottle and Bane’s holocron before turning your attention to the leader of the Black Dragons, Kano.

“Alright, let’s keep moving.” you say, trying to break the terrified tension. “Kano, left or right?”
“Bugger it all.” he says, turning from Freeza to you with noticeable difficulty. “Right. But they ‘ave a barricks down the left path, ‘bout a hundred meters or so. No doubt whoever else they got’s on watch is about to come on down. We need to move, quick.”
“Or we just crush them, right now.” Meloka says, your wife’s face splattered with Sangheili blood looking even more vicious as she shows her teeth. “Last thing we want is getting trapped by enemies on both sides.”
“Hrmm, a fair point.” Freeza says, hand to his chin. “But the more we fight before reaching the Prophets, the greater chance we have of losing assets before confronting Truth. What do you suggest, General?”

Well?
>Have Meloka take another Black Dragon with her via Instant Transmission and attack them while the rest of you push forward
>Attack the barracks with your full combined power, and hopefully destroy them before their powers can be brought to bear
>Don’t engage them directly, instead see if anyone’s Stand can seal off that hallway to buy you all time
>Have Meloka use her different ki abilities to turn the hallway into a deathtrap, then keep pushing forward

>>4599917
>Attack the barracks with your full combined power, and hopefully destroy them before their powers can be brought to bear
As it stands, fighting that many of them is gonna be easiest if we do it right now with all of our combined power. We're gonna end up killing all of them at some point, so why not now?
I also don't want to let the Black Dragons out of Karn's sight specifically since we're the only member of the strike team that can see their stands.
Besides, I don't think they'd expect us to charge into their barracks anyhow.

>>4599943
Ya know that's actually one of the few things I don't think we're ever gonna have to worry about with the Covenant.
The Unggoy and Kig-Yar are usually frail enough to die outright from just about anything, and the Sangheili will actively refuse medical aid since working as a physician and receiving treatment are seen as incredibly dishonorable in their culture.
Also why didn't we bring Tiveus?
He'd probably know his way around High Charity extremely well.

“Fighting them all directly isn’t a good idea. But who said we have to fight them all?” you say to him, then turn to your wife. “Hey, Meloka. Can you turn this hallway completely impassible? Or at least as deadly as possible, so whoever eventually comes through is torn to shreds?”
“Leave it to me.” she says, your wife’s aura bursting up around her as she turns to the hall and passes your group. You hear a couple of the Black Dragons mutter to themselves, which stops as Meloka begins unleashing her power. Not in a torrent of power, meant to overwhelm a foe, but several precision strikes all built to do maximum damage. First your wife tosses a pair of large ki blasts down, each stopping a dozen or so yards apart and floating in the air before splitting up into a couple dozen or so smaller orbs.

“HYAAA!!” she shouts, tossing another large orb down the hall. But this one is special, also splitting into dozens of smaller orbs but these ricochet off the others and stick in place to the walls. Then she gathers energy into both of her hands, forming another pair of spheres while speaking back to you all. “I can’t keep this hallways sealed up for long, unless I actually stay here. But these should have enough power for ten minutes.”
“Enough powah for what?” Kano asks, Meloka gently pushing the two spheres forward. They float forward until they’re near the Scattershot stuck to the walls, then with a snap of Meloka’s fingers both orbs fire. Not all of their power at once, but each one fires a razor-thin beam towards the nearest ball. Each of her Scattershot orbs reflects the beams, turning the hallway into an impassible Death Beam prison. “Bloody ‘ell.”

“INTRUDERS!!” someone shouts from the end of that hallway. And to your surprise the man looks like a Black Dragon, same species and has their tattoo on his face. Crossing his arms the man’s body turns into solid metal, and without hesitation charges Meloka’s field of death. Yet the moment he rushes into the lasers is his last, Meloka’s energy slicing through both metal and flesh easily. He doesn’t even maie it a foot through the hall before his chunks are oozing across the floor, the rest of their jailers looking sick amongst each other. One simply disappears, clearly not wanting anything to with this as the rest simply look at Meloka’s work, mesmerized.
“Too easy a death, for a traitor.” Kano says, spitting at the ground. The rest of the Black Dragons follow suit, Freeza turning to him.
“So, this way, correct?” he asks, then as Kano nods. “Excellent. Let us keep moving.”

But something feels off to you. This seems almost too easy.
cont
>>
>>4600034
You turn back towards the hallway, and see that despite having no way through, they’re all still watching you all. But watching for what?

What happened to the one that disappeared?

As you have this realization your eyes widen, and you instantly focus on your ki sense. Throwinf the gates open you search, feeling your group’s immense power immediately and the comparatively-miniature power of their jailers. But you also feel something else, something inbetween your two groups and closing in rapidly on Meloka!

“Meloka!” you shout, your wife not hesitating and creating a Barrier around herself. But the shield doesn’t help, as an instant later that tiny ki signature you’d felt surges. And right next to your wife a green humanoid wielding a Covenant energy blade appears, thrusting it for her neck. But the creature, and it’s robotic-seeming rabbit Stand that appeared behind it are too slow, Meloka leaning aside and narrowly dodging the blade. However Meloka cannot see a Stand, and it’s fist strikes her square on the jaw. “RRRRYAAA!!”

Your Divine Dragon Force clad fist crashes into the Stand’s face, shattering it. The user’s head explodes as well, flopping lifelessly as it’s sent tumbling into Meloka’s barricade as your Stand roars in triumph.

“Oh shit!”
“That’s really-?!”
“Fuck this.”
“No way, I’m out.”
“The Red Dragon’s real.”

You overhear from the enemy, who all begin turning tail and walking back into the barracks whence they came. As they leave you turn to Meloka, who seems none the worse for wear.

“You okay?” you ask her, rubbing your thumb over where the Stand had struck her.
“I’m fine.” she replies, holding your hand to her a moment before you both turn back to the group and walk back over. “Enough standing around, let’s get moving.”
“That’s White Rabbit, and Iron Man both down.” Kano says, more to himself than anyone. “Not bad. Alright, let’s move.”

You all move out, down the halls as Kano calls out directions. No other Stand users try accosting you, yet you feel the hair on the back of your neck beginning to stand on end after a minute. You are being watched.

“Ol’ up.” Kano whispers, holding a hand up as he slides to a stop by a left turn corner. You all stop moving, watching as the Black Dragon’s leader peeks around the corner. And almost immediately jerks his head back, a barrage of laser fire filling the space his head had just occupied. “Shit!”
“What did you see?” Freeza asks him.
“They got more than thirty guns pointed down this ‘ere ‘all.” Kano says, sounding worried. “Chain Gang’s work, no doubt.”
“Chain? Gang?” Freeza asks him, wanting clarification.
“Anotha’ problem Stand.” Kano explains. “Chain Gang copies itself, and the mad bastard’s given them all some heavy firepower. Anything goes down that hall’s getting shot to shit before they even get close.”

“This Stand user, Chain Gang. He has to be nearby, right?” you ask Kano.
“Never seen ‘em more than a few feet away.” he replies. “So to drop that many copies, he’s gotta be right there.”
“All I needed to know.” you say, again focusing your mind. In a battle of pure Stands, you wouldn’t be able to take this one down. But luckily for you, Divine Dragon Force is only one tool of many in your arsenal. So you once more use your ki sense, and feel not one but two living beings around the corner. Unsure of which one is the user, you decide to simply take them both out. “HAAA!!”

As you shout beams of piercing energy shoot from your eyes, punching easily through the walls and finding their mark before the two Covenant goons even knew what was happening. A second or two later you hear their bodies fall, along with the clattering of the energy weapons dropping. Blinking you end the attack, then step forward and look around the corner. Two Kig Yar are laying in a pile of weapons, each one’s head smoking from the gaping hole your attacks left.

“All clear.” you say, walking closer to the bodies to see if they had any other weapons you’d need to watch out for. Kano walks up beside you, and seeing the second body his eyes widen in surprise.
“Shit. Gam Beg, I told you not to report in today.” Kano says, kneeling and closing the Kig Yar’s eyes almost reverently. Then with a heavy sigh rises back to his feet, eyes looking just a bit harder. “We take this right up ahead, then in a few dozen yards it comes to a four-way intersection. They could be set up down each path, so we gotta move carefully.”

And almost before he’s finished talking, blast doors start trying to seal your group up in an isolated section.

“Shit! Move!!” he shouts, taking off at a dead sprint forward. You do the same, but where Kano sprints past the door, you slide to a stop and brace yourself.
“HAAA!!” you shout, slamming both hands into the metal wall. It hits you with surprising force, feet sinking a bit into the metal floor but you manage to stop it. Yet the door keeps pushing against you, it starting to warp and crack in your hands. Through the cracks bright light begins shining through, you looking at it curiously. What kind of blast door is filled with light?

“Above you!” Kano shouts, and looking up you see a giant spinning blade dropping down at you. But everyone isn’t through yet, you can’t let go of the door yet. You start summoning Divine Dragon Force to catch it, but as your Stand is materializing Kano is already on the attack. “Black Dragons go!”

“GWROOOAAAR!!” you hear, and see his twinned Stand launch forward and both bite down on the blade hard enough to completely stop it’s drop and spinning. Kano just saved you.

“Hurry up, we’re not outta danger yet!” he says, Erron Black the last one through the sealing gate. You then let it go and roll in, the sealing wall smashing the disc flat against the wall and shattering it. As the disc fragments you see that it appears to be made entirely of light. “Shit.”
“The hell? We’re trapped in!” Meloka says, you looking and seeing that sure enough, where before there was a hallway now only another wall stands. Your wife slams a fist into it, no doubt trying to knock it down or at least put a hole in it, but her effort proves useless. “What is this?”

“Daydream Believer.” Kano says, a worried look on his face. “It makes constructs out of hard light. And, to make matters worse, the more he believes in them, the more effective they are. If he believes his wall is stronger than you, then it is. No ifs, ands, or buts.”
“So we just find this bastard, kill him and it’s over?” you ask him, Kano nodding. “Then let’s go.”
“No doubt they’ve anticipated this.” Freeza says, everyone turning to him. “They have prepared for your teleportation before, Karn. Wherever he is, this is certainly a trap.”

“Of course it’s a trap.” a giggling voice comes from the dead bodies on the far side of the hallway you’d come from. “But if you don’t get out of there, my walls will be what crushes you flat!”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=7IJMEd8mAIo

“Tremble before my power!” the high-pitched voice continues. “I was blessed with true, invincible might! No matter how strong you are, you filthy monkeys and dragon-aspiring wannabes will all die by my hand!”

“That him?” you ask, Kano nodding once. And, as if on cue, the hard light walls begin slowly closing in. But not just them, what you thought were the regular walls too, and even the floor and ceiling! The whole area is a trap with no weak points!

How will you handle this?

“Unstoppable, huh? You really think this makes you unstoppable?” you ask, crossing your arms and staring at the wall. If this man’s power is based on his faith in himself, then you’ll just have to crush that. So you reach your mind down into the holocron, and tell Bane your plan.
“Excellent. Now you’re beginning to think like a true Sith.” Bane tells you. “Very well, you’ll have my aid for this. Drink his fears, and turn it into your strength.”
“If you were as unstoppable as you think, then why are you here?” you continue aloud to their Stand user. “If your little constructs were really so unbeatable, wouldn’t Truth be keeping you by his side to protect his own sorry ass?”

“I’m here to make sure you and these prisoners never escape!” comes the reply, the voice not wavering. “He trusts me completely! He told me I’m the only one he can trust to stop you, should you make it this far! He told me I was the last line of defense!”
“Ha! And you actually believed that?” you reply, hearing footsteps from the other side of the wall. Looks like the rat finallt came out of his hidey hole. Perfect. “Then why are there another half dozen or so Stand users posted at the next intersection? Face it kid, Truth thinks your ability is only a speedbump compared to me.”
“Th-That’s not true!” you hear him shout, more of those spinning saw blades appearing on the wall closest to you. “You killed my parents, and for that I’m gonna kill you!”

As the wall closes in you step forward, and grab two of the blades bare-handed. And your hands don’t stop their spinning, your grip simply shatters them. And as they keep spinning, the broken edges crumble against your fists, quickly reducing the two blades to nothing.

“No, this can’t be happening! This is impossible!” he says, you hearing the sound of him backing up uncertainly. But that’s secondary to the fear. You can feel the man’s terror radiating off of him, you drinking it in with every breath. You’re feeling stronger than ever, pulling back your right fist and summoning your Stand around your arm. “I will kill you! I must! You must die by my h-!”
“HRRYAAAAA!!” you roar, swinging for the wall.
“GRRROOOOAAAAAR!!” your Stand bellows, you and Divine Dragon Force smashing into his wall with your full power. The entire wall cracks and shatters, falling to pieces around you both. As it breaks you see the man, wide-eyed in shock as his Stand’s construct falls.

“I-Impossible.” he says, dropping to his knees and no longer looking at you but to his hands. “I’m the strongest. I can’t lose, not like this.”

What do you do?

“You’re not the strongest. Hell, my kids are stronger than you.” you say, walking over to him. And without any effort reach down, grab him by his neck, and lift him up to eye level. “You are nothing.”
“Wait, I-!” he starts, you squeezing down slightly. His words cut off, eyes bulging as he realizes he can’t breathe. In an act of desperation the man conjures a suit of light around himself, complete with an energy sword stylized after the Arbiter’s golden blade. You simply stand there, basking in his terror. It feels incredible, the helplessness and fear making you feel strong. The weakling swings for your head with his blade, and you catch it with your left hand.

“Did you really think this pale imitation would stop me?” you ask, shattering the blade in your hand as tears roll down the grunt’s face. His terror is complete, if the creature could breathe it would be sobbing right now.
“Now, end him.” Bane’s voice whispers inside your mind. “Crush him now, completely and utterly. And take this power as your own.”

And you do. With almost no effort you break his neck, a small pop the only sound to signify the end of that creature. You turn back the way you need to go as the hard light constructs all vanish, disappearing into tiny sparkles that quickly wink out of existence. Feeling refreshed you walk forward confidently, seeing and feeling the terror rolling off most of the Black Dragons. Except for Kano.

“You gonna carry that thing around the rest of the day?” he asks, you glancing down at the corpse before answering.
“You said we’re coming to an intersection, right?” you ask, not slowing down your walk. “Let’s see what we’re dealin’ with.”
“Target practice, eh? Not a bad idea.” Kano says, your formation once more moving out. “Thanks for the save back there.” you say, as the two of you turn the corner together. “Appreciate the help.”
“Of course.” he replies. “I can’t take that bastard Truth down by myself, after all.”

And as you turn the corner, just as Bane’d said you see there is in fact an intersection ahead. Straight ahead seems clear of hostiles, except a similar blast door is shut with some sort of message scrawled across a sign. Looks like a maintenance warning of some kind. So wordlessly you toss the corpse ahead, it spinning over once, twice, three times before flying into the intersection. And nothing happens. The corpse bounces against the sealed wall, then flops lifelessly to the ground.

“Well, that was...anticlimactic.” Kano whispers. “Don’t suppose you-“

But he stops mid sentence, as you both see the dead user seemingly dissolving into the floor.

“Did...you guys see that too?” Meloka says. “That was disturbing.”

“Black Acid.” Kano spits. “Shit. But why didn’t anyone shoot?”
“There’s still six of them up there.” Meloka confirms. Four on the left, and two on the right.”
“Perhaps they’re worried about friendly fire?” Kira offers, Kano shaking his head.
“I’d bet my right eye that that’s Mirror Mirror’s on the right.” he says, turning to you all. “It’s a Stand with a mirror that copies any attack fired at it. Fists, Stands, whatever, it can copy anything. Even my own Stand isn’t immune, and it matched my powers perfectly. Damn thing’s just bizarre.”
“So we hit it from behind, easy.” Meloka says, bringing her right hand to her forehead. But Freeza stops her, addressing Kano.

“So do you believe this Black Acid is the one there behind him?” he asks. “Or do you think it’s another, different one watching his back?”
“I ‘ave no idea.” he replies. “But we have to get through that right-handed path. It’ll lead us to where that bastard Truth is no-doubt hiding.”
“Well, how do you propose we do that?” Freeza asks not Kano, but you. “You’ve been on point so far, General Karn.”

Well? How will you do this?

You mean by this drag them with telekinesis on the floor so they dissolve in Black Acid? And then use the "cube made of wall" to crush those on the right inside it, kind of like this Daydream Believer tried too with us earlier? I guess I'm voting this then.

>>
Since there seems to be some confusion, I’m going to clarify the situatuon and call for another, 20-minute vote. Now, the intersection ahead is clearly dangerous and doesn’t discriminate who it destroys. But the enemies on either side seem to be fine, so Black Acid clearly doesn’t reach them. There are four creatures to the left, and two to the right. Kano assumes one is Mirror Mirror, a reflective Stand that can seemingly copy and redirects any attack thrown at it. Your Dark Side powers are limited to line of sight, or at least what you can perceive. Knocking the four to the floor could be done, but not the second half without seeing those walls. So I’m opening the vote again, 20 minutes, no further prompts from me except to answer questions until the vote’s over. Now:

>what do?
>>
>>4600603
Ah okay, you see what I had in mind was that they were hovering to avoid the stands effect but that makes much more sense. Assuming that Black Mirror is in fact on the right hand side and is also super strong I'll wager that its effect doesn't actually reach the left.
Still no clue how to actually stop them if my plan doesn't work though. Is it like, a big mirror stand? Like does it spawn a mirror and the user directs it or does it just move in place of any attack? Assuming Kano knows
>>
>>4600598

>>Instant Transmission everyone over behind the left group, wipe them out quickly before rushing to the right

>Start flying so Karn does not touch Black Acid on the floor, and don't touch the walls and ceiling there too. Who knows if this Black Acid is only on the floor.
>Any way form a Barrier around Karn and quickly fly in there so you have four on the left in the line of sight.
>Use Telekinesis to smash those them hard against the floor where that Stand user dissolved.
>Fly back fast so you are out of range of those to the right.
>Now those smashed against the floor are probably still there. So now when Karn is in safe location and has left group on acidic floor he can use Telekinesis to press hard those from left side, to the floor with Black Acid so they don't run away or something, and dissolve fast.
> After this we can carefully try if Telekinesis can bypass Mirror Mirror. If it can, then try similar thing with group from the right that we did to the left one. And if not maybe we gonna have to find other way against right side group.

“Stand back. I’m going to try something.” you say, taking two steps forward. You focus your energy, quickly forming your Barrier around yourself. “I’m taking the third option, and going right through that wall.”
“He’s probably already got it cova’d in his Stand.” Kano warns. “It’ll eat’cha alive.”
“That’s what this is for.” you say, gesturing to your shield. “My Barrier should keep it off me. Now I’m gonna kick that door down, and try to attack your mirror friend in the confusion.”
“That’s a bad-“ Kano starts but you’re already on the move, dashing down the dozen or so feet of empty hallway and into the intersection. In that brief instant you glance to your right as you turn to shoulder charge the door, and see that Kano was correct. A decorative mirror, near large enough to fit all of your body in up close, is positioned in the middle of that hallway. In it’s reflection you see three Sangheili and a green creature with a head of tentacles positioned on the right side. Before you see anything else you feel your Barrier dissolving, and can’t stop your charge before your left shoulder slams into the door.

“GAAAAAAAH!!” you scream as pain, burning intense pain flares up in your shoulder. Your momentum carries you straight through the door, knocking it flat as you tumble and roll to a stop.
“KARN?! KARN!!” Meloka screams, but you can’t see her rushing towards you. On reflex you grab your left shoulder, and realize instantly that was a mistake as your right hand bursts into flames of agony too. Horrified you look at your hand, watching as the flesh of your hand seemingly begins dissolving, but almost as soon as it starts it’s over. Your hand and shoulder both still hurt like hell, but are no longer melting before your eyes. Curious you look around, and notice a crimson puddle slowly expanding out from under the several inches thick door you’d battered down. Then everything makes sense. The user wasn’t hiding down either the left or the right, instead using their stealth tech and hiding right behind the “closed” path. As you rise back to your feet, testing your left arm and making sure it still works, you realize you’d underestimated them. And you won’t make that mistake here again.

“Alright assholes.” you mutter, gathering your energy into a small, palm-sized blast. “Let’s see how you handle this.”

And with a small bit of effort send that orb into the intersection, and detonate it. Your blast does it’s job and kicks up a dark smoke cloud, you dashing into it and turning left towards the former-right hand path. Blasting out of the smoke you see the mirror again, and quickly try to close the gap. The mirror follows you, maintaining a direct reflection of you. So you decide to try and fake it out, dashing first to the right side of the hallway, then hard to the left while dropping an afterimage on the right. But unfortunately the Stand isn’t fooled, following your movements perfectly.

“Tch! Try this then!” you shout, firing a Death Slash at it. But as you do, a Death Slash is fired from the you in the mirror, the attack launching forth and clashing against your halfway between you and the Stand. And as the attacks collide the mirror moves. Or, more accurately, the one HOLDING Mirror Mirror does. You hear mechanical whirring, watching shocked as a giant pale suit of armor quickly unfolds itself out from behind it’s shield.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=OTuaeuailOI

And as the being’s head flips up into place from off it’s back, you’re now standing toe-to-toe with a mechanical soldier just as tall and broad as you are. Caught by complete surprise yoy just watch, dumbfounded as it draws an equally-pale blade from off it’s back. As it draws the blade, azure sparks begin to dance along the whole length of it threatenly. Whoever’s inside the suit says nothing, the unmoving face glaring at you. This is certainly an unexpected development. You’re facing down against a machine your size, wielding a shield near as tall as you while electricity dances across it’s own sword.

But what do you do now?

It was fucking great, I won a duel I had no right even getting into.
My prize sword got stolen on our journey and I bumped into the guy who bought it from a fence.
Long story short, during our duel I inadvertently crippled him for life while he rolled like absolute shit and did like 4 damage over 12 turns.
As it would turn out, the guy was actually a trainer built specifically for my character by the DM. Life comes at you fast I guess.

“You’re real confident in that shield of yours, aren’tcha?” you ask, focusing on not the Stand or the user’s mech suit but the ground underneath it. “But can you fly?”

And as soon as you finish asking the question you tear open the ground down beneath it. The suit’s pilot doesn’t immediately understand what you’re doing, confident that Mirror Mirror would keep it safe. Then the suit drops straight down, and isn’t able to catch itself as you pull the hole wider and wider. The suit drops down into the darkness down below, and after a few seconds you hear a tremendous crash.

“Won’t have to worry about him aga-“ you mutter to yourself, when suddenly your instincts scream at you in warning. Without hesitation you kick off the ground back to the right side of the hall, activating your Barrier as you turn. And realize that your smokescreen had dispersed enough for them to shoot at you through. “Shit!”

The trio of Sangheili keep firing their weapons at you, while the green-skinned creature continues to simply sumplyobserve. Yet your instincts are on fire about the still creature, whatever it’s trying to do is most certainly far more dangerous than some Sangheili foot soldiers. But why isn’t it moving? As you strafe their fire, activating your Barrier, you see movement out of the bottom edge of your eye. Once your shield materializes you look down, and can’t process what you see. It looks like the shadow of a javelin, sliding across the floor at high speeds right for you. Realization hits and you try leaping aside, but aren’t quick enough. Your shadow spreads out on the ground towards the enemies, and as that shadow weapon hits your own shadow’s left arm you feel as if that weapon actually stabbed you.

“DAMMIT!!” you shout as blood sprays from your bicep, the shadow passing through your shadow’s arm. Clutching your arm as blood flows freely, you realize this fight’s a lot more dangerous than you’d bargained for.

But what do you do about it?
>Instant Transmission behind the green man, try and end him before they can realize what you’re doing
>Quickly gather your power and fire off a weak Final Flash. His attack hopefully can’t reach your shadow through that much light and power, and you’ll take them all down
>Eye Beams, tru and end him before he can send another attack your way
>Instant Transmission back to Meloka and the others, let them know what’s ahead on their left and see if they can barricade them off somehow
>Draw your sword, use it’s shadow to fight off the other shadows while dodging laser fire and telepathically telling Meloka to Instant Transmission behind them

“HRRRYAAAAAA!!” you roar, flaring your own energy up around you. Your emerald aura surges wildly, leaving you glowing like a beacon. Another side effect of this, and what was actually the main purpose, is your light is so bright the enemy Stand’s shadows now stand out in stark relief as they glide across the ground towards you. But thanks to the brilliant light from your surging aura, your own shadow is now little more than a circle directly between your feet. Which shrinks even more as you float upwards, keeping your Barrier up and stopping the regular soldiers’ blasts while weaving between the shadowy spears and swords slinking across the ground at you. Unfortunately for this bastard, you’ve got his ability figured out now. “Eat this!”

And with that shout you drop your Barrier, tossing a single orb of ki forward. It explodes about halfway between you and them, right in the intersection and your Scattershot spreads across that entire side of the hallway and fills it with explosions and death. The moment your Scattershot splits you dash forward, carefully watching both the ground and the air for enemy attacks. As your Scattershot orbs explode the enemy attacks cease, you taking advantage and dashing in closer while drawing your sword. You think to yourself that perhaps, if your own shadow has a weapon then maybe it can block. However, as you pass through the smoke and dust realize something vitally important: he somehow vanished!

“What the-?” you say confused, touching down beside the three Sangheili corpses and looking around confused. “Where’d he go?”
“Everything okay?” Meloka asks, your wife looking around the corner and carefully not touching anything. “Did you get them?”
“Most of them. Watch out for any shadows moving on their own, they can hurt you through your shadow.”
“This Stand bullshit is too bizarre.” she says, looking back down the right handed path you already cleared. “If he ran, let him run. We got a job to do.”
“Yea-“ you start to reply, when suddenly something wraps tightly around your throat! Your words are cut off, and you can’t take a breath as you realize what happened. Above you is a light, shining at an almost perfect angle down to return your shadow to the ground. And around your shadow’s neck is a noose, you really feeling the sensation of coarse fiber really digging into your neck. This isn’t going to end well unless you start thinking, and quick. You don’t even know where this guy is, and already he’s got you in a real bad spot. You have maybe a minute before your air runs out completely. If you don’t end him, and quick, it could be your end today instead of his.

Really enjoying going through the Stand users GD, I'll be missing tomorrow's battle so good luck guys and hopefully we keep doing as good as we have. Got a few questions for you if you don't mind. Did you expect us to get this far this fast? Any one in particular you'd thought we'd have an easy or hard time with that we've encountered so far? What were Freeza's and Meloka's reactions to the Bane stuff and all this stand stuff in general?
>>
Hmmmmmm...now this may sound dumb, but what if we did the opposite of our lightbulb trick just now?
I'm talking busting all the lights in the area, thus creating a lack of shadow since there'd be no lights to cast them.
It's a gamble, because I don't know if it's shadow manipulation or control over darkness itself, but I think it would also force him to generate his own light source to attack us, thus giving his position away.

Even Karn likes Transfomers. Would he like Decepticons or Autobots more? What are chances they exist somewhere in Universe 7 or other universes? Auta Magetta is a non organic life form living in universe 6, so maybe there is possibility that creatures like this are out there somewhere.

Technical question. In this short fragment we can see Broly generating a Barrier that not only blocks Goku's physical attack, but also explodes in his face, and even after that Broly's spherical energy shield still remains active and ready.
Our Barrier seems to be good only against energy attacks. If we raise our Energy Mastery/Manipulation will Karn be able to make round shields that stop energy attacks and also act like the one Broly showed?
>>
>>4600971
>And that’s it for tonight, everyone enjoying the battle?
It's very intense and unusual too. Each Stand is a completely new challenge, this is not about who's Power Level is highest now.
>>4600971
>Ready to finish this episode tomorrow, and see what other bizarre Stands you encounter?
We still did not seen False King and those other heavy hitters you mentioned. Right? This is just the beginning.
>>4601151
May work, but lot of darkness and bigger shadows may give him an advantage too. We may still try it though.
I got a simpler idea. Right hand to the forehead and Instant Transmission to Meloka. He can do what he does because we are right beneath that light.
If we are in a place where he can't make that shadowy noose around our neck then maybe we will be able to breathe again, since shadowy noose around our neck will disappear along with our shadow in an overwhelming light of our aura.
But this is just based on my assumption of how his Stand's powers work. Maybe it's wrong. I don't want Karn get killed by my mistake.
>>
>>4600985
That’s too bad, hope you enjoy catching back up.
Bane hasn’t shown himself yet on the Lucrehulk, and Freeza’s really wanting to see what’s going on.
>>4601151
He has to have his shadow to attack with his Stand.
>>4601158
Ha.
Metal men exist in Universe 7, although Karn hasn’t met them.
>>4601159
You’d need to further train to improve your Barrier itself, not merely your energy
>>4601162
And that’s a good thing
I’ll give you a warning: False King is a Prophet’s Stand.
But if the shadow is touching yours, and you IT away, whatever’s touching you(or your shadow) would be teleported too.
>>
>>4601225
Alright then obvious move is obvious, blow up the light sources
>>
>>4600967
Choking on the shadowy rope around your shadow’s neck, you trace it’s path with your eyes until you see it vanishing underneath the pile of Covenant corpses. So you don’t hesitate, firing a powerful ki wave down. Your attack obliterates the corpses, leaving a gaping hole where they were. Yet still you can’t breathe, the noose tightening even more. Then you have an idea, watching your shadow closely you move your arms so their shadows grab onto the shadowy noose. And it works, you somehow feeling the sensation of a rope in your hands. Then with a mighty pull tear that noose off, tossing it away into the hole.

“Shit!” you gasp, dropping to a knee as you desperately suck in air. Another few moments and it would have gotten dangerous, you could have died without the enemy leaving a scratch. And while you catch your breath you watch your shadow stretched out before you, carefully observing and making sure nothing else comes.
“You okay hun?” Meloka asks, placing her hand on your shoulder. As tall and large as you are now, when you’re on your knees she still has to float up to touch your shoulder. “The hell was that?”
“Watch your shadow.” you tell her. “Enemy attacks your shadow, it actually hurts you.”
“From Shadows. Such a cowardly ability.” Kano says, the rest of the group coming around the corner too. You see Freeza’s eyes narrow dangerously when he sees the damage your left arm took, between being stabbed and your shoulder partially-melted you’re looking a little rough. “You won’t catch him, wherever he ran off to. His body can become a shadow itself, and slink around like a menace. Keep your eyes out Erron, watch our backs. Karn, you okay?”

“I’m still good to fight.” you say, pushing yourself back upright. “Bastard nearly choked me to death.”
“We need to keep moving.” Vegeta says, the King of the Saiyans having been quiet up to this point. “The longer we take, the less chance we catch him.”
“Too true. Karn, Kano, lead on.” Freeza commands. And forward you go. As you walk down the halls you watch every shadow, glaring hard and daring each of them to try something. But nothing happens, taking a left, another left, a right, nothing. No enemies try and stop you, or even make themselves known. But as you all turn another corner, you realize something’s wrong. The air seems filled with a gas of some sort, obscuring the path forward. You turn to Kano, resident expert on Covenant Stands, but he shakes his head. Whatever this thing is, he has no idea what it is or what it can do.

So what will you do?
>Activate your Barrier and go in, stay ready for an attack

“You know what? No.” you say, turning from the ominous fog cloud to Kano. “I have a better idea. You said we take the right path ahead, correct?”
“Yes? What are you planning?” he asks, you turning from him and lowering your right shoulder. And without another word slam into the wall. Metal groans and rivets pop as the wall cannot stop you, your charge knocking down an eight foot wide panel. Wires pop and lights go out as your destruction no doubt destroys some wiring in the walls, but what interests you more is where you find yourself. Several Sangheili are sitting around a holotable watching what appears to be some sort of space battle. As you break through they all stare at you, stunned. And before they can act, you fire a quick horizontal Death Slash that bisects the lot of them.

“Clear.” you call, stepping further into what appears to be some sort of common room.
“Goin’ around somethin’ like that ain’t a bad idea.” Kano says, the Black Dragon’s leader the next through. “Seems your head ain’t all muscle after all.”
“Keep your guard up.” you say, eyes darting around the room. “That shadowy Stand’s still on the loose.”
“You figured out his ability, that bastard won’t stick around now.” Kano replies as everyone rejoins you in this room. “He’ll wait until you’re busy fighting someone else, and stab you in the back.”
“Fucking coward.” you say, walking to the far end of the left wall. “Alright, let’s go. HAAAA!!”

And again you slam your right shoulder into the wall, this one buckling and falling as well. But as soon as the wall gives, a damp fog pours over you and into the room behind you.

“Shit! That’s the enemy’s Stand!” you think, desperately trying to see a user through the fog. But after a few seconds of panic you calm down, as nothing’s happening. No shadowy hands, no poisonous gas, not even an instinctual fear of this smoke. It soon begins to feel like your worry wasn’t warranted at all.
“Huh. I was expecting...something.” you say, seeing the faint shapes of your allies and Meloka’s golden aura through the fog. “Everyone okay?”
“I’m not sure what you mean.” Freeza replies first. “But this fog feels rather, soothing, does it not?”
“Yeah, it kinda does.” you reply, it soothing the injuries you’d taken earlier and making the pain fade almost entirely away. “But we gotta keep going, right? C’mon, how much further Kano?”
“We’re almost out of the prison complex.” he tells you, your group walking further into the fog. “Once we take the next left, and get through the entrance, we’ll be near the Prophet’s thrones. And that’s where we’ll find them.”
cont
>>
>>4601468
You continue walking through the fog, with only Kano’s memory for guidance, when suddenly the air clears. And you find that you’re no longer in a High Charity hallway. The walls are all red and white stripes, and almost seem to be made of fabric and not metal. You’re looking around confused, when you hear Kano swearing.

“SHIT! FOOKIN’ SHIT, those bastards tricked us!!” he shouts angrily, the rest of his Black Dragons looking around terrified. “They got us.”
“Who got us?” you ask, laying a giant hand on Kano’s shoulder. “Kano, what the fuck’s going on?”
“That smoke wasn’t the threat. It was to hide the entrance to the real threat.” he says, his entire body sagging. “We just walked into Carnival Forever. And not one of us’s leavin’ ‘ere alive.”

“Come one, come all! And welcome to Carnival Forever!” a Kig Yar dressed up in a fancy suit and top hat says. “The final destination for all would-be escapees! Enjoy yourselves, because this party will be the last one of your lives.”

And with that the man disappears, vanishing without a trace. Kano simply drops to the ground, head in his hands muttering to himself. Something about it all being his fault.

“You, Erron.” you say, pointing out the man you think’s Kano’s second. “What the hell is this?”
“In the fog, we walked into a portal without realizing it.” he says, seeming pretty defeated as well. “Carnival Forever is a Stand that makes an entire pocket dimension, trapping those who enter into an endless maze. They tested this Stand on the boss, and after he came back to us he didn’t eat or talk for three days. Even after he recovered, the boss refused to tell us any more than that. I don’t know what we’re up against here, but it’s not going to be easy.”
“Karn, can’t you teleport us out of here?” Freeza asks. “Perhaps to the user, or someone outside this space?”
“That’s a great idea.” you say, closing your eyes and focusing on your ki sense. However, outside of everyone here with you, you can’t sense anything. In desperation you try and think to Raven, if anyone’s mental abilities could reach you it would be hers. But you get nothing, your telepathic ability apparently bound to the dimension you’re currently in. “No good. I can’t sense anyone outside this space. And the user’s apparently not actually in here either.”

What now? What can you do?
>Keep pressing forward, see what this Stand can do
>Turn around, and try to walk back out. You walked into this Stand, so you should be able to walk back out
>Summon Divine Dragon Force, and use your Stand to attack this world. Break everything
>It may ruin your planned escape from High Charity, but have Kira open her portal back to the cell you’d started this whole siege in

No such thing as a weak stand I suppose. Now to see if there's some gimmick involved or if we have to dump pretty much all of our energy into a last resort option.
>>
>>4601476
>>4601469
This and also I advise all of us stick together. If one of the group gets lost in that endless circus maze we may not find them again.
Unless we use the nuclear option "Divine Dragon Force's Wish", but I want to save this for when we are in real huge trouble.
Joseph told us a lot of what is important about fighting the Stand is understanding them, so once we know how this circus work, we may try exploit it's weakness, before going for brute force solutions.
>>
>>4601493
I guess if we stay in Comfortably Numb's fog for too long the Stand will try to attack and erode our will power. If this Stand gets a success, in what it does, Karn will just sit relaxed while his allies die, and he is about to die, but he wont move to defend himself because it feels so soothing...

Reaching down you grab Kano, who’s rocking slightly back and forth on the ground by his head and lift him up to your eye level. Where you see his eyes are glazed over, unseeing. So you backhand him, letting go so youd slap knocks him into the wall.

“KANO!!” the woman, you think her name was Tasia shouts. But you ignore her, again grabbing Kano by his skull and lifting him up to your eye level. He’s clearly shocked by the blow, but his eyes actually see you now.
“Karn? What? Where-?” he starts, you interrupting him.
“You’ve been here before, right?” you ask, the fear returning to Kano’s eyes. But he tries to nod as best he can with you still holding him by the skull. So you set him down on his feet, Kano shaking off the blow. “What are we up against here?”

“That fucking clown.” he says, a shiver running down his back as he holds his arms to himself. “We have to find a way out of here. If that damn clown gets us, we’re all dead.”
“So which way do we go?” you ask, Kano shaking his head slightly. “Did you ever find an escape?”
“I found one, or at least I thought it was one.” he says. “Through the mirror maze. But that bastard was there waiting for me. The things he did....”
“Alright, it could be a place to start at least.” you say, striding forward into the hall towards a curtain. “We’ll find this damn mirror maze, and then get the hell out of here.”

But as you pull the curtain aside and walk out of the hall, you realize this place is much larger than you’d thought. Dozens upon dozens of building and tents are scattered about, stands seemingly selling things and mechanical contraptions that spin for no discernable reason or purpose stretch our as far as the eye can see. But you ignore all that, focusing on a golden statue right before you depecting a oddly-shaped creature wearing a one-piece striped outfit and gazing up into the starry sky. Glancing back to Kano he shudders as he sees it, and when you look back could have sworn it moved out of the corner of your eye. But it remains still, towering over you all as if to say you are beneath it.

“Never liked clowns.” Erron says, you agreeing with his sentiment. Whatever a clown is, you sure as hell don’t like it.

But where do you go?
>Stick together, and have Kano lead you to this mirror maze he spoke of
>Spread out, split into two groups with you and Meloka seperate to Instant Transmission as needed

Also I'm a bit worried that Mirror Maze might be tough place. Easy to be separated in, but if we have to go through it, I suggest starting by marking the mirrors. We can't paint them so maybe we just going to have to try to shatter them, to minimize clowns advantage.

“So this thing’s the one we’re looking out for, right?” you ask Kano, pointing with your thumb over a shoulder at it. He nods, and you simply lift yourself into the air. It feels much harder than usual, as if the gravity keeps increasing the higher you go, but once you’re over the statue you don’t ascend any more as you can see much from here. And there seem to be hundreds of beings in this dimension, all of them sharing one common trait: they ALL look like that damn clown. And as soon as you realize this, they all turn their heads creepily towards you. Even the ones facing the complete opposition direction are now all staring unblinkingly at you. And your instincts scream at you that you’re in danger.

“Yeah, not sticking around here.” you mutter, turning to fly back down. And that’s when you see the statue’s head turned as well, it also looking at you. You feel your heart begin racing, feeling the sudden surge of shock fueling your body to act. And act you do, unslinging the Gravity Hammer off your back and staring at the golden clown statue’s eyes. “Let’s see how you handle this!”

Exploding with speed you dash atound the clown’s head, and with a roar swing your Gravity Hammer with all the power your Berserker form has to offer. The weapon smashes into the back of the statue’s head, you hearing something crack. And less than an instant later the hammer’s shockwave blasts out. With a snap the statue’s head is blasted off it’s body, sent flying off into the distance.

“And that’s what I think about your creepy a-?!” you start, when your instincts again scream at you. Tearing your gaze away from the head soaring off into the distance you see the statue’s arms reaching up for you! “SHIT!!”

With only a few moments to act you flip backwards, narrowly dodging it’s gripping fingers as you sail past it’s hands. Both the clown’s hands slam together, the titanic clap’s shockwave sending you down towards the ground.

“Tch! Take THIS!!” you roar, spinning and slamming your hammer into the side of the golden statue’s knee. Once more you hear it crack, and watch the seemingly-solid joint explode into golden fragments when it unleashes it’s shockwave. Knocked off-balance the entire statue falls, arms flailing as it falls away from your allies. The golden statue smashes itself to pieces against the ground, golden pieces flying in all directions as you land softly on your feet. “Not so tough now, are you?”
“Well, well, what have we here?” a creepy voice comes from the statue’s remains. And as you watch something begins inflating, it turning out to be another of that clown’s creepy faces. “A poor, dumb monkey, who’s intentions are clear. Struggle all you want, try your best to get ahead! Because Carnival Forever’s here, and I’ll see you all dead! Eeeheheheheheee!!”

>Ready to fight the clown, and see just what all it can do?
So the statue was alive and kind of an avatar for the Carnival. We hit it with the hammer and did some damage. Makes me wonder if next time we are about to hit him with the fist we conjure Divine Dragon Force around our fist in the last moment. This may surprise Carnival as it will deliver a damage from the actual Stand.
Only Stand can kill other Stand.
While it seems clown can shrug off damage from the hammer, the punch from the fist that has Divine Dragon Force around it may actually really hurt him.
Or perhaps we have to find the real Carnival Forever to do this, because maybe destroying all those copies don't matter.

Got a few questions again GD. Is the world, the clown or the portal the stand? Could we drain the fear radiating off of allies without physically draining them? And could we use telepathy on Stands like we can our own, or is that due to our connection?
>>
>>4601848
I already told you, if that happened it would have been a long, long time ago.
>>4601851

Yes it is.
>>4601877
Heh.
>>4601894
You all are in his world, think more along the lines of Death 13.
You can try.
Stand users can communicate amongst each other telepathically, as we saw when the Crusaders were at the bottom of the ocean. Stands being able to telepathically communicate with their usee is implied, even if not directly shown
>>
>>4601908
Oh, so Death 13 rules eh? That's a lot less worrying, but still bad. So how close are we talking, is the stand just a hollow figure and the clown actually the stand user in that form, or is the stand sentient? And would DDF happen have simply been invisible rather than inert at the moment of transition into the world?
>>
>>4601956
It doesn’t negate you or your allies Stands like Death 13 did. But it does fully control the entire dimension you’re in. Other than that would be spoilers, so I really can’t say. It’s controlling those right now

FUCKING CLOOOOOOOOOOOWN!
>>
>>4602022
Shame, but thinking about this with context clues and all. The only reason we're currently alive is because the clown is sadistic and wants us to suffer, which I think everyone already got On one hand, good news is that all our allies are now able to physically participate. Bad news is, the portal thing is almost definitely a trap. In so much as, the clown wants to bait us with it, if it controls the entire dimension then arriving at he portal only happens cause it lets it happen. This makes us doubly fucked, but the good news exist in that the clown is likely... unprofessional? Easy to agitate? So if we can get it to come to us we can then DDF it and deal with the matter as a whole. But considering Kano's state, it seems like it won't be easy to fight. The second good news, is that despite controlling the realm it has a limit from the attempts to pull us down, either dependent on who it targets or despite having full control its not quote the same as all powerful. Or he was just half assing drawing us to the ground
I think our best bet would be.... relying on Bane. Luckily there's now a bunch of able bodied and willing targets for us to do some impromptu sith training, but real shit, I think we're pretty fucked unless we figure how to weaken the Stand's hold. I'm hoping its based on fear and hopes for us to be weathered down and terrified before finally squaring off, and that that's what happened to Kano but its a guess at best.
>>
>>4602068
If the fucker dilates time with his dimension, then we can fuck with him by forcing him to try and fight us, and instead of Sith abilities being trained on the crew, we use it on the Stand, and train Hamon/teach the rest of the gang how to use it to help deal with fatigue.
>>
>>4602068
>sadistic
He’s certainly that. And also unprofessional. As you no doubt saw during the thread, it’s got quite the god complex. As for the gravity increasing, it thought you were trying to run away. You can’t escape it’s world that easily.
You can’t do much training here, as Carnival Forever’s not going to let you have much peace. And this is a bit of a spoiler, but I think I can reveal it a week early. Kano spent three full days trapped in here before Carnival Forever’s user released the poor man.
>but real shit, I think we're pretty fucked unless we figure how to weaken the Stand's hold.
That’s an understatement. This Stand is beatable, but you can’t simply brute force it or go around it’s powers. You’ll have to figure this one out if you ever want to leave.
>>4602071
He’s not going to leave you much time to rest. He enjoys breaking new toys too much to leave you alone.
>>
>>4602209
>That’s an understatement. This Stand is beatable, but you can’t simply brute force it or go around it’s powers. You’ll have to figure this one out if you ever want to leave.
We'll just take the Carnival and PUSH IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Alternatively we could just engage in a philosophical debate on the nature of humor and its perception. Because nothing is as boring and not funny as that.
>>
>>4602209
>but you can’t simply brute force it

QM UPDATE

>If he’d let you talk.
Like he can stop us in a way that wouldn't be just as unfun and boring. It's the perfect plan.
>>
>>4602329
So unless you didn't mean to imply it like that, what I'm getting from
>As for the gravity increasing, it thought you were trying to run away. You can’t escape it’s world that easily.
Is that it is in fact possible to escape this world by means besides the mirror? Going to harbor a guess and say while this realm is in its control, it holds most its power on this surface or whatever it is we're on?

Also damn, rip Kano but we are simply built different. Don't suppose the Hyperbolic Time Chamber escape method would work? Alternatively its likely in the same way it finds glee in despair it finds weakness in hope or confidence. Alternatively we plague the Stand User's mind with the most fucked up shit we as a group can muster, and go from there.
>>
Enemy Stands eliminated in this attack(so far). This list includes the ones you killed before seeing their abilities, like the two Meloka cut down right at the beginning or the one standing beside Red Balloon’s user. Without further ado, here you go:

Stand:「Black Acid」
User: Unnamed Unggoy
Ability: makes any surfaces the Stand touch become corrosive to the touch, capable of melting organic and inorganic materials both. Requires sustained contact to keep the effect going for more than a minute

Stand:「Daydream Believer」
User: Unnamed Unggoy
Ability: light illusions that are more ‘real’ the more the user and those witnessing them believe them to be

Stand:「Chain Gang」
User: Unnamed Kig Yar
Ability: swarm stand, creates ephemeral copies of the user that perform the same actions on slight delays. EX: If the user holds and fires a gun, each member of Chain Gang will do the same

Stand:「Red Balloon」
User: Unnamed Sangheili
Ability: Create floating balloons that can be remote detonated, or explode when coming in contact with another surface. Floating basically on the breeze, the Stand is slow but the explosions are extremely powerful

Stand:「White Rabbit」
User: Unnamed Nautolan
Ability: Whatever the Stand punches, the user can either increase or decrease their size and weight by 20%, or increase it by a similar amount. A willing creature doesn’t need punched repeatedly to achieve this, but merely constant contact to grow/shrink. Shrinking a Stand will shrink the user, and vice-versa.

Stand:「Iron Man」
User: Unnamed Black Dragon Traitor
Ability: Coats the user in an ultra light, dense metal that can deflect most physical attacks and hardens their body considerably.

Unknown deaths:

Stand:「Two Hearts」
User: Unnamed Sangheili, dead beside Za Metaru
Ability: Stand copies whoever the user sees, except follows the user’s orders.

Stand:「Bossa Nova」
User: Gam Beg, Kig Yar(Dead beside Chain Gang)
Ability: creates an aura of complete harmlessness and inexplicable attraction, making the stand user almost impossible to attack while in line-of-sight. While this Stand is active the user can seemingly do no wrong, every move they make the obvious best choice

Stand:「Better Man」
User: Unnamed Sangheili, Killed by Meloka
Ability: Repairs any damage done to stand or the user stronger than when destroyed(like a Big Gete Star)

Stand:「King of Pain」
User: Unnamed Sangheili, Killed by Meloka
Ability: more damage taken equals greater physical power, for both the Stand and User. Also cannot be knocked out or lose consciousness due to pain/injury/blood loss. Can stand and trade blows until the user dies.

Stand:「Loco Motion」
User: Unnamed Sangheili, dead by Red Balloon
Ability: Forces targets to continue motions they begin until striking an outside force, disregarding forces like inertia and friction. Objects or beings affected continue at the same rate of speed they started

>>4602365
I don’t want to spoil how it works, so I can’t answer. You’ll have to try and see what it can do.
No, not here. Unless you have a Stand ability that escapes a Stand-dimension.
I will say this though. This is an intelligent, autonomous Stand that the user has no control over. Like chucking Avdol into the black hole, the user has no control over what happens to them once inside. And the user is absolutely terrified of his Stand.

Alright, so two plans then. One if try and see if Freeza can burst through the atmostphere and beyond in golden form before the Stand even knows what will occur, and the second one is convince the Stand user that the Stand will be set free if we stay in there. Maybe bait him to letting us out through a combination of grizzly images, force suggestion and hinting towards it planning to steal IT from us so it can wreak havoc on the real world. Yes, yes I think that'll do just fine.

As for what's going on currently, I'm trying to figure out how we're gonna get this clown to show up in person. It's easy enough to piss him off but we need to make it personal somehow. I have to assume he takes pride in his ability to create fear in his victims hearts so maybe comparing his world to our life's struggles will piss him off the right way. I'll think about it more in the meantime.
>>
>>4603935
depends on if hes unicrons bitch in this continuity, if he is then hes not doing shit unless unicron get BTFO.
>>
>>4603937
I can imagine no-selling his performance would piss him off immensely.
A tough crowd is second only to a heckler in terms of annoyance for comedians after all.
>>
>>4603934
>>4603935
To be completely fair, in HIS universe they are. But this one? Not even close.
>>4603937
I try my best to stay consistent. Doesn’t always happen, as I’m not financially independent.

Wellthere’s your first misconce-
Not another fucking word, or I’ll gut your family first!
>>4603939
Too bad he didn’t get to see you btfo the Big Gete Star. Or did he?
>>4603980
Oh please, no one can resist my jokes. They’re to die for!

Slow night tonight for discussion. In other news, five full posts are finished for the epilogue. And Chaya’s showing why she’s still the undefeated Dreadzone Champion. Let’s just say for now that one doesn’t hold onto that title with physical might alone.
>>
>>4604771
For as much strength and wit as being the reigning champion must require, it still gives her some pretty bad habits.
Though that was bound to happen regardless since she grew up in a Colosseum and not the battlefield.
I know that's what we wanted for her, but I can't help but feel it's gonna get her killed one of these days.
>>
>>4604771
Yeah, tad slow. Not much to say beyond what's been said, aside from maybe trying to red dawn the area to find the actual clown stand.
Good on Chaya for getting to flex, shame covenant were prepared enough to attack during the pause in our own assault.
>>
>>4604872
It does. The worst is going the opposite of “are you not entertained”, as she doesn’t always immediately end her opponents. Makes for bad tv. But it has taught her some good, including really studying her opponents during battle. She may be a tad naive, but she isn’t stupid.
>>4604880
Could work, but first big problem is your allies are all right there. And maintaining a Barrier against something that powerful would certainly, noticeably drain Meloka’s ki.
Oh she’ll flex alright, but she isn’t the only one. And it’s not the Covenant you need to fear this epilogue. You’re about to see what real King Crimson-tier bs power looks like
>>
Caught up again.
Wondering what the consequences of bringing Bane's holocron into a special stand-generated world might be...
He might be a bit more real in here than outside. I could see it, given how fucky stand world are, and how he's technically existing as a psychic construct.
>>
>>4605240
Welcome back.
And he may be a bit more effective here, but only for one reason. It won’t make him more “real”, as he’s essentially the imprint of a powerful soul. And speaking of powerful souls...
>>
>>4602479
>Mirror Mirror, From Shadows, or Comfortably Numb. Only one or those you should currently be worried about.
I think you are saying here that From Shadows followed us into the Carnival Forever. So we got to watch out for a deadly shadow again.
>>4603290
>but if those disguised metal men come to a fight, you’d better be on guard.
I never intended to underestimate somebody like this.
>>4603290
>Also, how have you all been feeing about this more recent trend with threads being two weekends long instead of just one?
I don't mind when episode stretches for two or three, even four weeks. All is good as long as we keep on going and the quest is not dead. I remember few quests I liked where QM once said something like:
> "I'm taking a short break because [something personal in real life] it will be a few days, week at most."
That was in 2013. QM was never seen again. Other QM said:
> "Next episode will be scheduled as usual next weekend."
Also never seen again.
>>4605400
>It won’t make him more “real”, as he’s essentially the imprint of a powerful soul.
If Bane materialized his body in the real world, like he told us he can for a limited time, and this body was stabbed with the Arrow in dagger form, would he be able to gain a Stand?
>>
QM UPDATE

Finished the epilogue earlier today during lunch, so I’ll be posting it tonight! Hooray for day-early content!

>>4605455
Or maybe he needs to watch out for the clown.
I’d hope not.
Rip fallen QMs. Unless I straight-up die, or get caught up in the coming wrongthink inquisition, I’ll never not tell you guys what’s going on.
Now that is a real question. And it depends on a few factors. One, it his body de-materializes before he manifests a Stand, would that count as being “killed” by the meteoric dagger? Two, does the Stand work by stabbing a body, or the soul inside the flesh suit? I think Part 5’s Chariot Requiem answered that part sufficiently. And three, would he, without knowing what it is, allow a “Stand virus” to invade his body? Remember, he could perceive his body down to a microscopic level, and could feel a zombie virus trying to attack his brain cells. Would he allow an unknown virus entering into his body to survive?
>>
>>4605650
The question there is if he’s powerful enough to destroy the stand virus.
That shit works its magic on just about anything you can think of.
>>
>>4605673
Well that leads to a question we don’t exactly have an answer for yet, nor most ever really thought would be needed. Which is stronger between the Dark Side’s destructiveness or Stando powah?

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 147 Epilogue-

MEANWHILE, ON THE LUCREHULK

“Tag, you’re it.” you hear Chaya say, glancing over to see her gently tapping your new youngest brother Karn Jr on the nose. “Now you gotta catch me!”
“Aaaah aaaaaah!!” your little brother says, taking a pair of wobbly steps towards her then clumsily slapping her face. “Ooooh iiiaaaaa!”

You smile a little at that, the toddler oblivious to the tension currently hanging in the room. You are Chilli, firstborn son of the Super Saiyans Karn and Meloka, savior of the Crimson Demons, slayer of undead, and last but not least the single most powerful mage amongst the entire Saiyan race. You’re also the only known mage the Saiyan race has to offer, but you never let that slow you down. A few minutes ago your father, along with Momma, Freeza, King Vegeta, and the Black Dragon portal-maker left the Lucrehulk through one of her portals. And went directly into High Charity itself! But when they went in the Black Dragons sent their least powerful members here for safety as your parents take the war right inside the Covenant’s main stronghold. But Freeza isn’t foolish, and had your sister brought here(along with you and most of the others who just returned from the Hive War) to keep an eye on them and their Stands.

Most Stands seem to be invisible to people who don’t have one, so in the days leading up to this you had worked with Megumin and Caulifla to develop a spell that would allow you to perceive them. And while it’s not perfect by any means, if any of them summon a Stand you’ll see it. Or at least a vague vision of what it’s supposed to be and where, when you compared it to sharing eyes. Thanks to the teachings of Raven, the current Guardian of New Salda, you can look through someone who’s willing’s eyes and see the world as they see it. And that was the first time you’d actually seen Cauli’s Stand, it startling you so badly you’d fallen over. As you’re sitting there thinking, however, one of the Black Dragons gets up and walks over to you.

“H-Hey, you’re one of her siblings, right?” the man asks, his reptillian mouth hissing on his s’s. “I’m not tripping, that’s THE Chaya, Dreadzone Champion right?”
“Yeah, that’s my sister.” you say, the masked lizard-looking man smiling wide in what you assume to be excitement.
“Is. Is it okay if I go over there and introduce myself?” he asks you, and it feels kinda bizarre having an adult ask your permission to do something. But Freeza made it extremely clear to you all that if these guys acted up, they weren’t to leave this room alive. But they haven’t done anything remotely sketchy yet, in fact seem overjoyed to be anywhere but where they were. “I’m a huge fan of her work.”
>>
>>4605744
“I don’t see why not.” you reply with a shrug. Then before he can turn you clasp his left shoulder, and make sure he’s watching your eyes. “Now listen to me very carefully. That’s my baby brother she has with her. If anything happens to either of then, you’ll wish I’d killed you before my mother finds out. Understood?”
“O-Of course. Yes sir!” the lizard says, giving a hasty salute before turning from you and quickly approaching your sister. “Chaya! You’re really Chaya!”

And ahe walks away, the man is completely unaware of the small crystal trap you’d placed on him. With a thought, that crystal sliver you’d placed on him will activate and encase his entire body in an unbreakable crystal prison in around two seconds. Now normally you’d feel kinda bad about using an underhanded technique instead of fighting someone head-on, but you saw what happened to Chaya when she tried to fight a Covenant Stand user by the name of Cero. And that splitjaw’s Stand couldn’t even attack her directly. You’re taking no chances here, and already the day before you’d made sure to take a bit of time to set the room up. Only Megumin, as the only other spellcaster aboard the ship had noticed, but you’d turned this entire room into one giant deathtrap. Between the solid sheet of crystals you’d spread on all four walls, ceiling, and floor, the light and dark magic rays, and other less-savory techniques, you could probably even take down Freeza himself in here. As long as he didn’t use his final, Golden form that is. But as you look around the room admiring your handiwork and observing the Black Dragons you do pick up Chaya’s conversation with the reptile guy. Who’s name you overhear is actually Reptile, funnily enough.

“-saw your battle with that Stand user. You were amazing!” he says. “And that Stand was so powerful, some sort of time rewinding ability right?”
“That’s what we thought Cero was doing, yeah.” she replies to him, you keeping an eye on him while still watching the rest of them. But they seem almost as interested in Reptile’s conversation as he is. “But no matter how many times he tried goin’ for a do-over, I still kicked his ass. It takes a lot more than a cheap trick to beat me.”
“You’re incredible.” he says, then you feel his energy change as you watch him start stretching his arms. “And this may be a bit impolite, but would you show me? I’ve been watching your fights, at least until the Covenant snatched us up. I was wondering if you’d do me the great honor of sparring with me a bit? I’m something of a martial artist myself, and would love getting some pointers on my technique from you.”
>>
>>4605746
“You know what? Why not, let’s do this.” she says, lifting Karn Jr and gently tossing him to Arctus. Who catches your little brother with his tail, then making a face to keep him laughing while your sister stands up and rolls her shoulders while hopping from foot to foot a few times. She then settles into her own unique stance, clenching her fists, and transforms into her Ascended form. Sparks dance along her body as she flares her golden aura up. “HYAA!!”

“AAAAAAH!!” Karn Jr shouts with her, throwing his arms up excitedly. And to your non-surprise the Black Dragons are all watching their fellow dragon square up on Chaya as well. You don’t fully turn your attention away from them, focusing your full ki sense on those five only you watch as Reptile bows several times before taking his own stance.
“This is a dream come true! I never thought this day would come!” he says, legs bent and arms held close to his chest. And then he does the one he was warned not to do, and tries to summon his Stand. “King Cole Trio!”
“Freeze!” you shout, and with an instantaneous reaction trap Reptile inside your crystal prison that springs up around him from the trap on his shoulder. Immediately you hear his allies shout out in surprise, and try to entrap them in crystal as well. However, it doesn’t go as smoothly.

“Wooly Bully!” a woman shouts, you glancing over to them and seeing a giant hairball is somehow binding your crystals and keeping them from growing up and over the other Stand users.
“Triumph!” Caulifla shouts, her Stand roaring to life blasting a column of fire at the fuzzball. Which ignites the entire thing near-instantly, you feeling the Black Dragon users about to move when a single shout rings out.

STOP” Chaya bellows with all the might and authority she can muster. Everyobe freezes in place, you turning your head to look at your sister. “Chilli, I don’t know why you stepped in. I told him to spar me, so I expected him to not hold back his power. Would you let him go? And Cauli, can you pull your flames back? I don’t want them to get cooked for tryin’ to protect a friend.”
“Sure.” Caulifla says, and to your amazement the spreading flames from her attack all fly back to her. They somehow seem to be absorbed back into her golden Stand, it’s entire body appearing fiery for a moment before returning to normal. Meanwhile you ease your crystals off of Reptile, the razor-sharp material slicing through his scales in a few places. He barely winces at this, remaining as still as possible until your magical gems have fully retreated into the crystal-coated ground. “Oh, you’re injured! Here, let me help you out. Triumph, heal him!”

“KIIIIIIIIIIII!!”
>>
>>4605749
As Caulifla’s imposing stand flies over towards him, you see Reptile’s eyes are wide and full of fear. But her Stand doesn’t hurt the man, it crying out a pair of shiny blue tears into the larger scratches. And within seconds, his injuries have vanished as if they never were.

“Woah. Your Stand can heal as well as attack like that?” Reptile asks her, Cauli nodding once and giving him her widest smile. “So cool.”
“Protector of the weak, and vanquisher of bad guys!” she says, striking a pose worthy of even a Crimson Demon. “Caulifla, that’s me!”
“You’re lucky to have an ability like that.” one of the women says, summoning what looks like a little white sheep to her side and pulling Caulifla’s attention to her. “My Wooly Bully isn’t really good at attacking anyone, the best it can do is bind them all up.”

“So you were trying to show me what you can do, right?” Chaya says, drawing Reptile’s focus back to her. “Why don’t you explain what this King, uhh, whatever you called it does?”
“Of course.” he replies, giving you a quick sideways glance over his shoulder before once more saying his Stand’s name. “This is King Cole Trio.”

Your jaw drops as, instead of a strange mechanical-seeming creature appearing beside him, three more Reptiles appear around the original. Each one is differently colored, but as he moves they all do, and their colors and positions start to shift. After a second or two you can’t tell which is the real one anymore. Even your ki sense can’t exactly pinpoint Reptile’s real body, the Stand masking his true presence entirely.

“This is my blessing, or as you people call it, my Stand’s strongest power!” he says to her, his voice distorted by the several mouths talking simultaneously. “Well, whadda’ya think?”
“What do I think?” she asks, hand to her chin. “It’s certainly flashy. And unlike a lotta these Stands, it does something me and the viewers can see, which is a huge plus. Hey, why don’t you join up with Dreadzone after all this is over? If you’re willing to work hard, I could see you even making Exterminator after a few seasons. But, I gotta make sure you can fight first! Come at me!”
“Yes ma’am!” Reptile shouts, again taking his strange stance. But he doesn’t hold it for more than a second or two before going on the attack. “HAAAAA!!”
“From the front huh? Alright, bring it on!” Chaya shouts, trying to meet Reptile’s fist with her own. Instead, however, his fist simply goes through hers. “Wha-guh?!”
>>
>>4605752
As Chaya’d tried intercepting the fist, the other three all continues forward until the one furthers-right twisted and struck her square in the jaw. He isn’t powerful enough to actually hurt your sister, but the blow manages to knock her off balance and force her to catch herself. Right foot stomping down for balance Chaya twists, kicking the Reptile who’d landed the blow. Yet again her foot passes harmlessly through, the three different Reptiles she kicks through all seem to be the illusions instead of the real one, now the furthest one back. Reptile flips backwards and lands on his feet as Chaya lowers her leg, keenly studying her opponent. Despite how innocent and naive your sister can act, Chaya isn’t stupid. And she hasn’t held onto her title of Champion against all comers by simply being the strongest. She’s fought all manner of strange and powerful beings, some even more powerful than her, so something like this won’t slow her down for long.

“Heh, not bad!” she says, tail whipping back and forth excitedly. “But don’t tell me you’re done already! C’mon, c’mon, keep up the pressure! I want to see what you can really do!”
“Yes!” Reptile shouts, dashing in again. And again his hits somehow always come from one of the bodies Chaya isn’t blocking, then somehow isn’t still there for her counterattack. You think you understand what Reptile’s ability is allowing him to do, as the two trade more than a few dozen blows without any of Chaya’s landing. But in a sparring match like this, stopping him is going to be difficult. And with a final kick to your sister’s jaw Reptile uses his other foot to kick off her chest, flipping backwards onto his hands then flipping again back to his feet. “H-How’s that?!”

“Not bad. I could definitely see you clearing top fifty if you join in next season.” she says, then after wiping his boot mark off her cheek smirks menacingly. Then to your surprise takes Freeza’s wide-open fighting stance while powering down out of her Ascended form to just a base Super Saiyan. “But you better enjoy the next hit you get on me, because that’s gonna be the last one you’ll land before this fight’s over.”
“Not taking me seriously, huh?” he asks, Chaya immediately shaking her head. “What?”
“No, I know exactly how to beat you.” she replies. “But I’ve gotta move quick, and I don’t want to accidentally mess you up really bad. Don’t worry, even at leas than a fourth of my full power, you won’t be able to hurt me. So give me everything you’ve got! And don’t you dare hold back on me now!”
>>
>>4605756
“I won’t go down so easily!” Reptile shouts, lunging. But as your sister’s smirk widens just a fraction, you realize it’s already over. She’d taunted him specifically for that reaction. Chaya hasn’t simply been playing around while fighting in Dreadzone, she’s been working. And not just on her ability to play to the crowds, but to play her opponents too. And this guy’s just walking right into her plan, completely oblivious to the fact she’s playing him. “HYAAAAA!!”

Yet as he swings Chaya doesn’t block, or even drop out of her Freeza-like stance. Which causes Reptile to hesitate, a stutter in his movements as he doubts himself right before striking. But in that moment you watch close, and the instant the one on the right moves the rest then follow. Chaya sees it too, and starts moving as if to block that one. Then without skipping a beat the furthest one to her right, his left, goes in for the strike. And just before impact she raises her right forearm to block the strike, yet the fist simply flows through her arm. And the one at the back’s fist lands, striking her jaw.

“Got you.” she says, left arm moving to his right wrist and clamping down. Simultaneously she brings her right arm as if to grab him by the throat, but the instant her hand is about to touch you see her left hand go through his right. Chaya notices as well, and turns what would have been a choke slam into a spinning lariat. Her arm whiffs through the first three copies, crashing into the one Reptile’d started this attack with. And with practiced precision your sister spins him once before gently slamming him to the ground, pinning his shoulders beneath her shins as she holds a fist cocked back to punch. “Told you you’d only get one more hit in.”

“That was incredible.” Reptile says, the man’s face scales almost seemingly blushing. “You’re just as ama-no. You’re even more amazing than on tv.”
“C’mon Rep, stop fangirling out and embarrassing us.” one of his allies say, causing him to blush even more as they all chuckle. Chaya for her part simply smirks before rolling backwards off of him back to her feet, then offers a hand down to her bested opponent. Who graciously accepts, allowing Chaya to pull him upright before he starts asking questions.

“How did you know which space I’d end up in?” he asks her, sounding more genuinely curious than upset. “I wasn’t even sure which one I’d move to, right up until I moved.”
“You can’t move yourself right back into one of your bodies, if it’s the one you just left.” you say, both of them as well as the other Black Dragons all turning to you as you explain his Stand’s weakness.
>>
>>4605760
“You can move your ‘self’ between those different bodies, and it masks which one is the true you.” you say, outlining what you and probably Chaya too observed. But you have to end up back in the one you’d started in, before changing through them all again. So all my sis had to do was stuff each of your other forms, then take down your original before you could restart your body swapping. Sound about right?”
“How...?” Reptile starts, sounding completely lost. “How did you figure that out? Nobody has figured out how my Stand works before, except for the boss. And Erron, that man’s High Noon makes him insanely good when he uses it. Did you figure me out that easily?”

“Yeah, kinda.” your sister says, seemingly a bit embarassed for her observations being called out by you instead of saying it herself. “Which is why I had to transform down when I did, so when I wanted to hit all of your yous I didn’t accidentally really mess you up.”
“Well, I appreciate the sentiment. But if both of you figured out my Stand’s main ability in just a minute or two of fighting it, I may have to re-evaluate how I fight.” Reptile says, already seeming okay with his loss. “But either way, thank you so much for this! It was an excellent learning experience!”
“No problem.” Chaya says, giving him her “for the fans” smile you’d seen several times before. “I had a great time figuring out what your-!”
“Shit! Shit shit shit!” you all hear Arctus suddenly start swearing. You and everyone else turns to look at him, seeing him staring into a monitor. He sees you, and everyone else looking, and clearly doesn’t like saying what comes next. “We just lost contact. I can’t reach Freeza, Vegeta, or your parents telepathically, and all their scouters just went dark. Here, watch.”

After typing a few keys and turning his small screen, you all gather around close and watch the footage. You see your dad, unmistakable in his giant green form next to a bald man with what look like a pair of dragons around his arms walking through a fog cloud somewhere. Then all of a sudden, nothing. The visuals cut completely, replaced with just a black, signal-less screen. This isn’t good, and you have a terrible feeling about this.

“Did you all see it? What was that?” you ask, none of the Black Dragons answering. But from their worried looks at the screen, and being unable to look away, clearly they have no idea what happened earlier. “Arctus, can you slow it down? Go as slow as you can, and just before it cuts out. I thought I saw something.”
“Worth a shot kid, hold on.” Arctus replies, tapping a few more keys as the smell of his booze washes over you. After a few seconds he’s got the footage back, and again you see them walking. Now moving so slowly they’re almost standing still, then you see it. For just an instant, right as the camera cuts off, you see something truly disturbing. “Shit, I missed it. Hold on, I’ll play it back again.”

And Arctus does, this time managing to pause it at the exact moment before the signal is lost. And you see, clear as day, another being is standing right there with them.

“What is that?” you wonder to yourself aloud, feeling shivers crawl up your spine. Whatever this colorful creature wants, you can tell just by looking at it that it’s pure evil.
“What, I don’t see anything!” Chaya pouts, you feeling your worry ratcheting up another notch. Whatever that thing is, it isn’t friendly. And it isn’t alive either, not in the traditional sense. “Cauli, do you see it?”
“I-I-I wish I didn’t.” she says, you laying what you hope is a comforting hand on her shoulder. “Are-Are they gonna be alright?”
“Your old man’s handled much worse than that, hasn’t he?” Arctus asks, trying to bolster your little sister’s spirit without actually being able to see it himself, Then, before she can answer and to everyone who can see it’s horror, the creature moves. It turns fully towards the monitor, smiling wickedly at you all. And in that instant, you feel terror down to the depths of your soul. Whatever this thing is, it won’t stop until everything good in the world is demolished and irreparably tainted by it’s evil. This monster is malice incarnate, and it’s somehow looking right into your soul.

“You’ll do nicely.” it says, and in that moment of stunned silence it actually reaches through the screen and grabs you by the throat. And before you can react, it pulls you into the screen.

Play time's over. Do not touch the CHILD
>>
>>4605790
Now you’re beginning to see what kinda monster you’re up against. I did have one final post for this epilogue, but I had to cut it. I want you guys to try and be creative in how you fight and defeat this monster
>>
>>4605822
And what are you gonna do about it?
Take a minute to think through what just happened.
>>
>>4605764
Well, this thing just sealed its own fate. Chilli is the LAST person an esoteric entity with strange powers wants to fuck with.
He can BREAK the TIME on things, after all.
>>
>>4605828
>try and be creative in how you fight and defeat this monster
Uh, sure coach, I've totally put together an awesome plan to fight him by now.
...no, you can't see it.
>>4605841
I don't think Chilli's gonna be helping us out much. Mages are all about proper preparation, and he just got sucked without warning into a bizarre world where the thing that grabbed him has a ton of control. It sounds like the clown has a hostage now.
>>
I was about to go ahead and start laying the groundwork for a strategy here, but you know what? The clown would probably adapt to what we talk about, so screw that. I'm not going to say anything until it's time to start voting.
>>
>>4605400
>And speaking of powerful souls...
Oh yeah, the angel we absorbed. I was gonna mention that earlier when you said this was like Death 13's world cause I expected it to factor in.
>>4605762
>Erron, that man’s High Noon
We got McCree? Then we don't even need to red dawn, we have all we need to find the clown's true form now.
>>4605764
Oh fuck, so we're dealing with Pennywise level shit? Well at least the thing with the Stand Owner idea is still valid. If slightly harder to do since we can't bring the image of the clown into the space seemingly?
>>
>>4605879
>We got McCree?
No we got Erron.
>>
>>4605841
He’ll certainly do his best. But...
>>4605856
Heh.
And while he is a mage, he’s also a Saiyan. If there’s one thing you can be certain of, it’s that he won’t go down without a fight.
>>4605873
Could be for the best.
Awww c’mon, why not? We can be friends
>>4605879
It could prove useful, but perhaps not to you.
No, Erron Black’s Stand is 「High Noon」If you had actually tried to utilize the Black Dragon Stand users instead of fighting everything yourself, you would know what it can do.
Just before the feed cut, in that single instant, the camera(and anyone watching said video) are in his world. And this may be a bit spoilery, but you won’t find-
And that’s enough outta you.

Jokes aside you probably shouldn't. Never know what fucked up thing an anon might send. Minor question, but even though for most cases Brute Force isn't the answer when dealing with Stands, could Jiren brute force his way through? Since he can already overpower time apparently.

That’s why it’d be a few towns over, and not set up under my own name. But that won’t be anytime this year, if I decide to do it. Have other projects going on in the background right now.

Force his way through...what? This dimension? The Stand itself? Gonna need more info.

No. That is not the answer
>>
>>4606023

Jiren wouldn't.

All of the above. Could he simply muscle his way through a Stand's effects? Could he break through this stand's effect itself?

Hey CLOWN, just curious. What's it like to be ONLY as powerful as the whim of another being allowed?
>>
So I just saw a commercial on tv for a Google version of Social Credit Google searches. And a organization to, "improve" it.
>>
>>4606032
I feel like this is the kind of thing that Toppo would actually have a better chance of dealing with than Jiren.
If he accepted the will to Destroy, he could certainly fuck this clown up HARD.
The energy of godly destruction (probably) doesn't give a single shit if something is magic, stando powa, or force nonsense. I reckon it'll destroy just about anything indiscriminately.
>>
>>4606032
Perhaps. He couldn’t no-sell Hearts’ ability after all.

Depending on the effect, yes. Don’t forget, he punched Hit while the assassin was in a parallel dimension. But his ability is clearly limited by what he can perceive.

On the subject of fear...
Maza's stand might actually be a good counter to this. The stand duplicating itself inside this dimension would only work against it and cause it to accumulate more fear, faster. Hell, if it brought Chilli here from a remote viewing, it could have brought some alternate-timeline viewers scrying in as well, so it's possible if improbable that they could be here too.

Honestly I wait in excitement and fear for if you've done anything to Chilli because the only correct response is activating Wrathand enjoying the resulting fireworks, no matter the victor. I do hold one question though, if video and camera recording is all that's needed for you to temporarily join the U7 universe outside your stand self then why not simply threaten your user into it? Hell better yet, why not ditch the Covenant altogether, you know they'll only get rid of you once the PTO is dealt with, you're too much of a threat.

Also, future plans aside I do have questions. Even though Karn has no hope with magic, would he have any hope with Force Magic? What happened to Mira and Cell when the demon family temporarily moved to Toki Toki? What's the DC for making a wish, or is it not even a DC thing? And how come none of Chili's traps activated when the clown started pulling, surely he had some that activated on command?

>And with this whole arc leading up to these battles here, how have you felt about them so far?
I'm very excited about the battle with Carnival Forever and the arc and battles had been great.
>if you beat this clown, are you ready? All that’s left after this psycho is what awaits you at the Prophets’ Throne.
Yes, and it feels this is going to be more meaningful than just facing the final adversaries of this one arc. Ever since Covenant first appeared it has been involved in large part of this quest. Seems like the real final battle between us and them is so close. Outcome of it will probably have decisive influence over our future and Universe 7. It feels like end of an era is near.

Glad you’ve enjoyed.
Ever since the 40s in episode number. Like Nefarious’s true body dying, it signals a serious change. And I don’t like to think in terms of eras ending. This could be the beginning of a brand new era.

Point.
>>
>>4608321
>And I don’t like to think in terms of eras ending. This could be the beginning of a brand new era.
Yes, that's what I had in mind. This one ends and new one begins, a different one. I was thinking about that kind of major change like when Sauron got his ring destroyed. He can't recover from this and Covenant might never return to it's power after this if we win. Their empire will be just a shadow of what it was if it even survives.
>Ever since the 40s in episode number.
Yes their presence was very meaningful during the story so far. I can't wait to see all that awaits us after this. New adventures ahead that I'm excited and curious about.
In epilogues you gave us some glimpses of what could happen in the future if we make certain choices, but this time we are about to make those decisions for real. I'm so curious what will it be.
>>

Fun epilogue. This Stand has some really unbelievable powers and a strong personality. I bet he hates that he is kind of chained to his user. He probably would want to be free to do his evil without such limitations. His user probably can't feel safe around him, as Carnival Forever would get rid of him the moment he could do it without dying too.
>>
>>4608355
I’m curious to see.

>>4608373
It will be exciting.
They’ve been around for quite a long time. Without them around, who’s empire is large enough to even threaten the PTO?
>>4608382
It’s powers will make sense, once the arc is finished. And the user and Stand have agreements, with each other and with the Covenant leadership. Let’s just say Carnival Forever goes through bodies.
>>

No. I hope this is not what I think it is. He can ditch his user if he can get a new one.

Back when they first started purging, they forced episode 67’s epilogue to private. So I had to make it password-accessable to be public. That’s why I put the password in a public bin. And now it doesn’t need any of that and it’s fully public again, but I’m leaving that other file. Just in case.

>Without them around, who’s empire is large enough to even threaten the PTO?
I was thinking about it. I'm not sure about what empire would it be. Maybe after this defeat Covenant will be engaged in infighting, because of such failure many within it may voice their displeasure with current leadership. Like perhaps Sangheili will be like "If we were in charge of this whole war, we would have won, we should be leading the Covenant". Those internal conflicts may take some time.
Maybe after a while Covenant changed from the one we know now may start rising again. Or perhaps the future will looks entirely different.
>who’s empire is large enough to even threaten the PTO?
I'm not sure, but I know one person who could try to simply steal all PTO for himself. Pic related.
>>4608435
>I think he just meant Carnival Forever is having a bunch of covenant prisoners and such given to it to be its victims.
That would be better for us, as Stand that can live after it's user's death would be bigger problem than it already it. It seems to be very rare but Stand "Notorious B.I.G" was dangerous even after it's user's demise.
>>4608492
>You know, reading it again I think in fact I can still do exactly what I planned on doing, to a greater effect even.
That's very good. Only few hours remain before we resume the battle with Carnival Forever. SOON intensifies
