Skirmish games are a collaborative effort between players and QM, with each player controlling their own character to co-operate with other players in the party to explore the environment, clear objectives, and advance their developments. The QM provides the board for play, and operates the interactions made visible for other players with each update posted to the thread. From there each active player replies to the most recent [Action phase] post to show the QM what their actions for the turn will be, and the QM processes those before showing results. This cycle repeats until the board has been cleared, a required objective has been met, or the party fails to successfully meet either of the prior two outcomes in time. Outside of exploration and combat players are able to level up and advance their characters, participate in story events, or interact with other characters (player and non-player controlled) in order to cater to their own experience.

Apologies for the lack of fast phases today. I saw some confusion regarding the means of showing status buildup versus status procs.

When exposed to a status it applies its potency in stacks to the character. This is referred to as 'status buildup' and often the status will be in red as only harmful status effects are resisted by the character.

Status buildup does not proc, or become properly afflicted upon the host, until the number of buildup stacks exceeds the characters' LUCidity or ARMor stat. Each turn will reduce buildup stack count on each stack by 1 unless the subject is exposed to the status again. Once the status is fully inflicted it is highlighted with a white outline, and additional potency will be applied as stacks much the same as buildup. Only when a status has afflicted its host will the status effects take place.

Pic related to show a building status effect in the bottom right, and an afflicted status effect in the top left. Beneficial status effects will be blue instead of red.

As dual-wielding has become more apparent in use this following update will be made effective immediately:

Obviously not, as this input is only available when used immediately after an >Action, and not other inputs.

Wielded as a term involves anything currently considered as active. This is to distinguish a clear divide between items in use or in storage. If you are wearing or have the input as a feature then it will also count as available. If it requires an item then it will employ the item not previously used for the action.

Attempts to use Followup while only wielding one item will result in a failed input, as there is no other item for it to function off of.

The game is balanced around avoiding these edge cases already, though if it does happen the current procedure is to limit the duplicate input to the statistics of the currently employed item available. When used the followup input will be limited to whatever reach or range the blade has available.
