/qst/ - Quests

It is a time of peace. With Lord Freeza’s explosive declaration, naming himself Emperor of the Universe after single-handedly obliterating the Covenant stronghold High Charity, peace has come to the universe. Not wanting to stand against him and his unstoppable Super Saiyans, within days of his declaration the universe bent the knee. And while there are always outliers, those stubborn or foolish enough to try and resist, the overwhelming majority of the universe is bending the knee. And he wouldn’t have achieved all this, defeated the strongest military in the universe and survived the Prophet’s ultimate weapon without your help.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball EU. Currently it is Age 749 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power recognized actoss the universe. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 34 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Karn has become his people’s greatest champion.

>Crits are 100 on a d100(a 99 or paired rolls may net you an extra bonus)

Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After a lunch with surprise guests Turles and Komand’r, Karn met up with Leyas and Sarada just in time to help crush a demon follower of Trigon who’d somehow arrived. After speaking with them Karn took his kids to the lab, just in time to watch a weapons test before one of their developing bio-weapons escaped. After hunting that creature down and finally putting it down, Karn then met another experiment that copies people before leaving the lab of mad science behind to wind down the day sparring against his kids before eating and going to bed. But as we rejoin Karn, you suddenly find yourself wide awake.

“The hell?” you mumble, feeling an uncomfortable sensation almost like an itch on the back of your right hand. Opening your eyes you see it’s sometime in the early predawn, only the emergency lights dimly on. Which stands in sharp contrast to the back of your right hand, demonic seal flaring angrily. Which doesn’t make any sense, as that seal should feel like it’s burning your skin if it’s glowing that bright. Unless someone, somehow is suppressing it! The sudden realization makes your blood run cold, breath catching in your throat as you immediately expand your ki sense. However, despite being unable to sense anyone that doesn’t belong, seeing your demonic seal burning bright tells you something’s wrong. Which is confirmed as you look over at Meloka, her seal glowing bright as well. Something’s here.

“Dammit, this isn’t good!” you think to yourself, carefully grabbing everyone piled on the bed with you and your wife with telekinesis. Slipping out of bed you put them back down, now standing between your bed and the door. Somewhere out there is someone, or something that doesn’t belong in your timeline.

But the question is, what will you do about it?
>Stay here, ready to defend your family if whoever it is isn’t necessarily after you but them
>Lock your family’s room behind you, exit the ship and power up to full power. Hopefully this will draw out the time traveler
>Telepathically reach out to Raven, see if she can locate whoever doesn’t belong
>Focus on the demonic seal itself, and unleash your Supervillain power. Whoever it is better be ready for a beating
>Combine with New Salda again into your Champion form, use New Salda’s awareness to try locating the source of this being who doesn’t belong

“New Salda, I need your help.” you think, telepathically linking your mind to your planet. As you do power surges, rising into your from your feet and coursing throughout your body. Your awareness widens, letting you sense every living thing on your planet.
“Of course, my champion.” New Salda’s Avatar’s voice booms in your mind. “What is wrong?”
“Someone, or something from another timeline is here.” you reply, focusing on your now fully-awoken ki sense. “Which means trouble.”
“I cannot sense such a disturbance myself.” your planet tells you. “How do you expect to find them?”
“Hopefully I will sense their ki, and not recognize it.” you answer, closing your eyes to help focus. “Then I can teleport right to them.”

Is what you say, but as you focus on your ki sense, you can’t feel anything out of the ordinary. None of the ki signatures you can feel, from the individual blades of grass to the massive powers the likes of yourself, Meloka, or King Vegeta. But nothing you can sense feels distinctly out of place, in fact everything just feels...normal. It feels so normal you actually begin doubting your own instincts, when suddenly you feel it. Not far outside the city, inside the forest you find that you can’t actually sense anything in a small area. None of the trees, none of the grass, nothing. Someone’s actually hiding that area from your New Salda enhanced ki senses somehow. And you’re about to find out who. Focusing on the largest tree by that void in your perception, you raise your right hand’s first two fingers to your forehead, and vanish.

“Well now, this is a surprise.” a hunchbacked, hooded figure resting against a short staff says as you appear. “I had thought the spells I’d woven would have masked my appearance from such alarms, but it would seem they are yet incomplete.”
“Wait, you’re-“ you say, recognizing the voice as a withered blue hand reaches up, and takes off his hood. Before you stands an ancient, wizened demon god powerful enough to openly rival even the Supreme Kai of Time’s abilities.
“Mechikabura, in the flesh.” he says, looking you over. “But now we face a conundrum. I’m certain my presence was completely masked: even if those demonic seals could detect a timeline disturbance you should not have be able to find me, even with your planet’s help. Yet here you are. How did you find me?

Well? How do you proceed?
>Tell him what he wants to know, then ask about your Towa and Future Chaya’s supposed kidnapping

Can we combine those two into one? I mean what could be so important that he personally arrived here?
So:
>>4683585
>Ask what information he’d have to trade, because that knowledge is no doubt very valuable
And asking why is he here.
>>
>>4683614
Asking why he’s here could be what you trade, but didn’t he just answer that?

Wait is mecha really using Karn to test run his stealth spells? It's such an effective idea, I can't even be mad
>>
>>4683623
Wait....fuck, that would make sense, if he gets caught by us then he isn't stealthy enough.
>>
>>4683619
Where? We caught him sneaking in some seemingly non important area. I was thinking that something of great value is hidden nearby, artifact or something. Something he did not trust one of his Towa's or Fu to get it for him.

Honestly about trading information I don't want to trade our info for that thing in particular. Some knowledge that would make Karn stronger would be much better, like when he revealed Divine Dragon Force's "Wish" ability. That kind of thing would be nice.
>>4683623
Wow anon, if that's true then Mechikabura sure is thinking out side the box. I mean using Karn for testing this it's both unexpected and very good.
>>
>>4683625
Quite the opposite really, seems like he was TOO stealthy.
The spell he wove created a blatant deadspot in our perception.
I'm sure it would have worked better if he went about camouflaging himself with some local fauna.
>>
>>4683628
If there's one thing I wanna ask him about, it's about the warning he delivered a while back.
Knowing that Karn Jr. eventually kills Broly one day is nice and all, but we need more details to go off of.
>>
>>4683635
Oh damn I forgot that, which thread did he mention it? When we were coma'd?
Also personally I was hoping to ask either more about the beginning of time or Dumplin's Karn
>>
>>4683635
True, but it's like that vision we got a while ago. The one where we see Meloka trapped in stone in Prophet's throne room. Mechi's warning about Karn Jr may be true, but future may go differently too. We would be selling our info for some vague prophecy of the future, a future that perhaps never becomes real. I think I would like something more concrete and real.
>>
>>4683640
I think we heard it from Broly. Broly said that old blue man visited him in his dream and warned him that one day Karn Jr will kill him.

78/100, 98/100, 79/100. He’s got some valuable information he’d be willing to trade, but you’ll have to choose. Writing.
>>
>>4683585
“Hey now, I can’t just give away all my secrets.” you say, the elder demon god chuckling at this. “If you want to know how I found you, you’re gonna have to trade me something just as valuable.”
“Hmmhmmhmmm, you are wiser than I had given you credit for.” Mechikabura says. “Very well. I have three different pieces of information that you may appreciate, in exchange for the knowledge of how you managed to find me.”

As Mechikabura says this he snaps his fingers, a crystal ball appearing in his hand. He offers it to you, you walking up and taking it in both hands. Then as he speaks, you see visions of what he’s talking about appear inside the orb.

“First, is how to reach the next level of your Berserker transformation line, that Super Saiyan 3 form as you call it.” he says, you seeing another Saiyan transforming into a hulking emerald Super Saiyan Three, and attacks a pair of blue-haired Saiyans. Then it changes, revealing a very familiar crater. “Second, I know the secrets of that Soulstone you carry, and how to use it’s power to the fullest extent. A Bloodstone turning into a Soulstone is a rare occurrence, and unfortunately for you that shard of true Dark won’t be able to tell you the depths of that power.”
“Wait, there’s more to the Soulstone?” you ask, surprised. “It’s more than a power store?”
“It is so much more than a simple energy reservoir.” Mechikabura says with an almost serpentine grin. “But before you decide, perhaps you’ll wish to know the last choice I offer?”
“Of course.” you reply, feeling a little embarrassed as the visions inside the orb change again. You see what looks like some sort of machine-but-also-organic hybrid creature floating in some sort of liquid, connected by several wires.

“There is a creature currently being created in your universe, and if it is completed, could exterminate your entire race.” he says, your blood running cold. “I can tell you not only who is creating this destroyer, but what planet this creature is on. So, what will it be Karn? I can tell you any, no. Any two of these I will share with you, in exchange for how you found me. What do you say? I believe this trade to be more than generous enough.”

“It is very generous.” you say, pondering your options. Knowing how to reach Berserker 3 could be useful information, wether or not you decide to take that path or another. Knowing what it takes to reach that pinnacle is vital information. And since he’s already told you of a creature being made, you can ask Towa another time what and where it could be by viewing other timelines. But the most important information he could give you is the Soulstone. No doubt such a thing is highly powerful, and could have many secrets. “I want to know of the Soulstone, and also how one reaches the next level of Berserker.”

“Interesting. You choose not to know of a coming threat, in favor for knowledge of the power you may need to face it.” Mechikabura says, and from the small smile he gives seems to approve of your choice. “Very well. I shall explain the next level of your transformations first, as it’s the more simple of the two. There are two separate paths that could lead you to that form. One, is decades of continual work mastering your Ascended form, turning that transformation into a form you hold effortlessly. As your wife has, with her Super Saiyan 3. Unfortunately she cannot take that transformation any further on her own. But the other way for you to ascend to that tier requires nothing more than five of your fellow Super Saiyans.”

“Wait, what?” you say aloud, realizing everything he’d just told you was with telepathy. So after your outburst you reply in kind. “Sorry, but what?”
“So you don’t know.” he replies, chuckling aloud. “What I mean is the Super Saiyan God ritual. But with your, you call it Berserker form, correct? That unique form will cause the ritual to fail, and instead of creating a Super Saiyan God, will catapult you directly to that level of power.”
“No way. You mean to tell me I can take a form requiring decades of work in an instant?” you ask him, astonished. But then your brain kicks in, and realize there has to be a catch. “But what’s the drawback? Gaining that kinda power can’t possibly be free like that. Can it?”
“The Super Saiyan God ritual, when done correctly, does exhaust all participants who lend their sparks to the newly formed deity. Or monster.” Mechikabura tells you. “Also, such a sudden transformation without the training would make it...Considerably difficult to control.”
“Oh, I get it.” you answer. “So when I transform using that ritua, I will be struggling to control that anger again like the very first time. That’s good to know.”
“And now, for the far more important knowledge.”

“To turn a Bloodstone into a Soulstone requires the channeling of an intense amount of energy, as well as the sacrifice of several souls.” Mechikabura says, you watching your near-death in that blast after killing the second Arbiter in third person then the crater emerging from the blast changed. “Which you’re well aware of. However, acting as an energy store is the least of what it can do. Transmuting materials, healing sicknesses, creating homunculi, summoning ever-burning flames, lengthening one’s lifespan, the impossibilities one can craft with Carmot are near-limitless.”

“You mean it can do all that?” you ask, Mechikabura smirking and snapping his fingers. And in his open hand appears your piece of the Soulstone, it hovering an inch above his palm. Then he lets go of his staff, it standing upright where he left it, and with his fingernails pinches off a small corner of the stone. He then tosses the rest of it back to you, which you catch as he uses telekinesis to lift a stone smaller than his palm up to the tiny piece. Mechikabura then drives that sliver into the stone. Before your eyes the stone begins changing, becoming a more shiny and silvery color. He studies the stone a moment before smirking, tossing it to you as well. It’s heavier than a normal stone it’s size should be, seemingly more metallic than it was.

“Stone to silver, a transmutation sought by many civilizations throughout the ages.” he says, then retakes his staff. “I believe that has answered my end of the deal. Now, how did you detect me?”

Well, we may not be able to, but I think Chilli would definitely take the time to figure out how to work the Soulstone if we brought it up with him.
I'm sure a project like that is exactly what he needs to take his mind off things right now.

Unfortunately that can only be cured by a regular dosage of ass-beatings and reality checks.
As it so happens, Dr. Karn can fill that prescription.

“A deal’s a deal.” you answer, then clench your fists and flare your aura up a bit before pointing the back of your right hand to him. “First, it was this that woke me up.” you tell him. “I could feel it warning me even while I was asleep, despite that being suppressed. Which I’m assuming was your doing.”
“Assumed correctly.” he says with a nod.
“Figured so.” you reply, then continue. “Anyways, the only way I noticed you was with New Salda’s help.”
“Despite the extra perception of a Champion’s link, neither of you should have been able to sense me.” he replies, then looking almost behind you. “No offense intended, of course.”

“None taken.” New Salda replies to him, the planet’s voice booming through the mental link. “I could not sense you myself, only my champion could.”
“Well I didn’t exactly sense you.” you tell him. “What I sensed was whatever your stealth ability is.”
“Wait, you sensed my stealth?” he asks. “You have no magical ability, yet could sense my stealth magic?”
“I didn’t sense your magic.” you tell him. “But I also couldn’t sense the grass by your feet. Whatever stealth ability you are employing has a radius. With New Salda’s help I can sense the ki of all living things, even those as minuscule as an individual blade of grass.”

“And with my spell, everything immediately around me would appear as a dead spot to your enhanced senses.” Mechikabura says as understanding dawns in him. “I see. You’re far more perceptive than even I gave you credit for. Thank you for this Karn, I knew I was right coming here.”
“Wait, what?” you ask, suddenly confused. “Hold on a minute, why did you come here?”
“Was for this conversation. Until we meet again.” he says with a confident smirk, then without another word vanishes.
“The hell?” you say, just confused by it all. Why was he here, just to talk to you? But you just shake your head, and thank New Salda for the help. However the sky’s still dark, and from the looks of it will be so for several hours yet.

So what do you do?

“Thanks again for your help.” you tell New Salda, and let the powerful Champion aura fade as you turn back towards the ship and get ready to go back. But all the talk of magic brings Chilli to mind, and that he’s getting married here soon. And remembering back to your own marriage with Meloka, certain people had given you gifts. So you decide that you’ll do the same thing for your son, and instead of heading back towards the ship lift off straight up into the air. But as you do a cold wind blows, letting you realize you’re still undressed. Knowing you’re going underground where it can be colder you press the first two fingers to your head, and teleport back to your wife’s side.

“What’s goin’ on?” she asks you with a whisper, your noticing your wife’s already spread her energy across the room to turn it into a death trap. “Felt my seal suddenly start itching, woke up, and you were gone.”
“Mechikabura showed up.” you think to her. “He showed up just to test his stealth abilities against me, but I managed to find him.”
“Hmph. Some god then.” she scoffs aloud, Karn Jr stirring in his sleep. She then turns her focus to your son, coddling and cooing him until he settles back down as you start getting dressed. “Hey, where are you going?”
“Just gonna hop down into the labyrinth for a bit, maybe I’ll find something for Chilli’s marriage.”
“Don’t take too long now, kay?” she asks with a yawn, settling back into bed as you pull your boots on. “An’ be careful down there, heard someone say there’s still things walking around down there.”
“I’ll be fine hun.” you say, but toss both your sword and hammer across your back anyways. No need to be reckless. “I’ll be back before breakfast, okay?”

“Mrrhrmm.” she mumbles sleepily, you heading out the door. Now armed and ready for whatever manner of creature is still lurking down there, you make your way out of the ship and take to the skies. Looking around from your high vantage point you find the clearing with the darker darkness than the starry night sky illuminates, and take off towards it. You fly over towards the crater, but when you’re only a hundred or so feet away feel a sudden surge of ki as a figure below is suddenly engulfed in blazing golden energy. You watch the figure fly up at you, recognizing the familiar woman as she gets close.

“Hold on, this area’s off limi-Karn?” Cele asks, the young woman who’d become a Super Saiyan years ago asks you. “What’re you doing here?”

“Headed down into the hole, looking for something for my son.” you tell her. “He’s getting married soon, so I need to find him something he’d like.”
“You know, King Vegeta declared the whole area off-limits before we left for the war, right?” she asks you. “But it’s not like I can stop you yet, I haven’t mastered this form.”

And to your surprise her power doubles as she suddenly Ascends in a burst of sparks.

“Woah, that’s impressive!” you say, feeling genuinely impressed with her surge of power. “Hadn’t expect you to reach this level already.”
“Oh save it old man, and go on already.” she says, reverting back to her base form. “But just know that I’m coming for you, and one day I’ll be the one who surpasses both you and King Vegeta.”
“Whenever you’re ready to challenge me, bring it on.” you say, holding your right fist towards her. Which she scoffs at, but after a moment meets your fist with her own before flying back down towards the ground. You fly down as well, transforming into your emerald Super Saiyan form to light your way as you pass her. Flying down into the darkness, you see where you’d fought that immortal dragon skeleton along with Freeza, and saw King Vegeta’s Primal Saiyan form for the first time. Touching down on the stone ground you look around, flaring your green aura up to illuminate the darkness. Finding a tunnel’s entrance you head off that way, walking deeper into the ancient M’lurnian ruins.

Which you’d forgotten is built like an enormous maze. Walking down the empty halls you find what appear to be several suits of armor smashed on the ground, scattered about randomly through the halls. You vividly remember fighting the sentinels they’d built, shaking your head at the memory and continue traveling. Yet after what feels like an hour of wandering around in the dark you still haven’t found anything interesting. Then suddenly feel a vibration in your Soulstone shard, pulling it out of your boot and holding it in your hand. The gem turns inky dark, blackness pouring off of it and coalescing into an all-too familiar form.

“Aaah haaaa haaaa haaaa haaaaa!” Aku says, pouring out of the stone and forming his body’s most familiar shape. “Greetings, Karn! I have returned!”
“Aku? What’re you doing here?” you ask him, feeling more than a little worried. “What happened?”
“I was studying the Soulstone, back on Sanghelios, when moments ago there was a surge of magical energy throughout the stone! But not only that, it was demonic power on a resonance I have never felt before. I was coming to make sure you were alright, once that ominous power within the gem faded. Fortunately, it would seem you are alright. Do you know what happened?”

Well?

They're another thing entirely I feel.
Though that does bring up another detail I find interesting.
If I remember correctly, Mechikabura in particular wasn't even a demon originally.
I have to wonder how the Demons brought forth from the Flame of Chaos view Demons born from a former Kai's lineage like Towa and Dabura.
>>

“Yeah, but I shouldn’t say.” you tell him, tapping the side of your head and thinking to him instead. “Never know who’s listening. We had a visitor from another timeline, and he was explaining to me a bit about what the Soulstone can do.”
“Ooooh? I have been studying this stone for a bit, I doubt some backwater demon knows more than what I’ve discovered.” he says, sounding quite sure of himself. “What was it’s name?”
“Mechikabura.” you tell him telepathically. And Aku freezes, eyes widening comically large as his flaming eyebrows go out.

“WWWHHHHAAAAAAAAAAATT?!!!” Aku shouts in shock, leaning waaay back from you. “Impossible! He is dead, and has been so for more than four dozen cycles.”
“Cycles of what-no never mind.” you say aloud, shaking your head. “But it’s true, he’s out there now trying to usurp the Supreme Kai of Time.”
“This is troubling news, Karn.” Aku says worriedly. “I have to go, there are things I must do immediately. Stay safe Karn.”

And at this he begins folding into himself, until he vanishes right before your eyes. His reaction worries you a bit, making you wonder if you’re underestimating Mechikabura. But you shake your head at this chuckling to yourself. After what Future Chaya told you of his power, there isn’t anything you could actually reasonably do to stop him. If he wants you dead, you’re dead, plain and simple. But from how helpful he’s been to you, he clearly doesn’t want you dead. What could he be planning then? You shake off your worries and doubts, instead focusing on the here and now and searching deeper and deeper down into the M’lurnian ruins. Using your ki senses you can judge about how deep down you are, and realize you’re far deeper beneath New Salda’s surface than ever before. The further down you go, you find more and more of the statue soldiers’ remains. But as you travel down the halls you eventually come to what appears to be a dead end.

“Dammit.” you say, ready to turn around and search down a different path, but something seems odd about this dead end. Walking closer, the stones of the wall seem to be forming an arched doorway inside the wall, and the stone of the floor up to it appears shinier and more worn than the surrounding stone. Narrowing your eyes, you pull back your right fist and swing for the wall. Your fist strikes the wall, but instead of striking anything the apparent stone vanishes in a puff of white smoke! “Whaa-!?”

Not encountering any resistance throws you off balance, you taking a half-step forward to keep your balance. But since the floor’s lower in here than outside, you stumble and fall into the room beyond. But looking up, you feel your jaw drop.

Looking up from the ground, you find yourself in a surprisingly large, circular room. Spaced equidistant around the perimeter are a dozen of the sentinel statues, but unlike the ones above these don’t move. However, on the ground between a stone throne with a crown-wearing emancipated corpse and yourself appears to be some oddly-shaped stone. But as you get back up on your feet, you realize something’s wrong. That stone is moving. Dust falls from the rock as it rises up into the shape of a man, the almost dusty, stale smell of a long-dead corpse wafting over to you as it turns around. The stone creature wields a massive curved club in it’s right hand, and a rectangular-ish slab of stone in it’s left. Then the figure begins walking, or more accurately lumbering towards you. Whatever’s inside that suit is clearly struggling to move in it.

“I’ll give you one chance to back down, before I end you.” you say, leveling your left hand’s pointer finger at the creature’s head. But it seems undeterred, continuing to slog slowly forward. “Well, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

With a small effort you fire a Death Beam from your fingertip, it striking the stone helmet true. But to your surprise your beam reflects off, noticeably weakened, to punch into the stone ceiling.

“What?” you say, surprised as the figure doesn’t even slow down while continuing to approach you. Focusing your ki again you fire off a Death Slash, which to your even greater shock simply shatters against the warrior’s stone shield. Whatever sort of stone that armor is made of, it’s seriously no joke. Perhaps you found something for Broly as well while you were down here? But as you were contemplating the creature took two more steps closer, then dropped the weapon off it’s shoulder while pulling it back. Then with explosive power swings the mighty club over it’s own head. At once every single instinct in you screams in terror, absolutely certain that if that weapon smashes you like this, you will die.

But what do you do?

“Hyaaa!” you shout, launching yourself forward and into a roll under his right arm as he swings the hammer down. You narrowly avoid the weapon, it smashing the ground where you were standing as you roll up to your feet. Spinning counterclockwise back around to face the stone knight while gathering your ki into your right hand, you form a Piercing Fist as you launch yourself at the warrior’s back. Your ki’s piercing point smashes into his stone back, yet to your surprise doesn’t pierce into it! All your blow manages to do is stagger the warrior, who then immediately pivots and swings the weapon overhead at you again. “Shit!”

Again you leap past the warrior to his right, and again his swing narrowly misses you. This time the floor is trembling from the blow as you land, several sharp cracks ringing through the stale air as you turn back towards him. That armor is no joke, you can’t take a light jab again. So this time you dash up, grab it’s left shoulder in your left hand, and drive your fist into it’s back with all the force you can muster. This blow, despite still not penetrating that armor knocks the knight from his feet and sends him sprawling to the ground.

“What the hell is that thing made of?” you mutter, looking at your fist as it slowly makes it’s way back upright. However, as it does you see something gleaming by the corpse’s hand son the throne. Letting the stone soldier take it’s time standing you instead dash over to the throne, and find what look to be a pair of curved, ivory weapon handles clutched in it’s dead hands. Looking at them you’re reminded of another hook-handled weapon you’ve seen before and smirk, knowing that this’ll certainly make a good gift for your son. But you have to finish your fight first. Turning around as the warrior returns to it’s feet you try sensing it with your ki sense, but of course feel nothing from the armor. If someone was alive in there, they died a long time ago “Alright, let’s end this.”

As if in response the armored suit drops the shield to the ground, instead clutching the large hammer with both hands as it begins walking towards you again. You match the suit’s pace, it walking to just within it’s range when the stone warrior attacks. Pulling the weapon back behind it your foe launches into a counterclockwise spin, you leaping above the hammer as it swings around towards you. Then after one revolution the warrior twists, swinging the weapon in an almighty overhead blow that could easily fell the other sentinels with a single strike. Yet again you dodge, flipping and twisting aside to narrowly dodge the club. Again the floor cracks as his weapon strikes, but this time the sound is accompanied by a deep groaning under the floor. That can’t be good.
cont
>>
>>4685378
But you don’t waste any time, landing behind the armored suit and kicking it’s left knee out from under it. Your strike knocks it down to that knee, you grabbing it under the helmet with your left hand while focusing even more power into your attack. Your Piercing Fist Mk.II spins around your fist as you drive it up between the stone slabs, stabbing deep into the fighter’s back. And to your surprise somehow blood sprays from the wound, accompanied by a ghostly, almost ethereal groaning. And as you pull your fist back the soldier collapses limply and doesn’t move, the last of it’s fight beaten from the armor. You sigh out and end your Mk.II Piercing Fist, walking back up to the corpse upon the throne and give it another look. The two ivory handles are intricately carved, and with there being two thay’s one for each of them, but when you grab one a shimmering blade of blue energy suddenly sprouts from its carved tip.

“Woah!” you say, so surprised you almost drop the handle in shock. But you fight that urge, looking over the weapon and it’s spectral blade a moment before setting it back down. You found it, what could be a better gift for him than unfound weapons hidden away for who knows how long? Your work down here is done. But now that you’ve found what you’re looking for, what now? Where will you put them until it’s time for the wedding?

With where to store the artifacts until the wedding decided, you again reach for the weapons. But as you do another tremendous crack comes from the floor beneath your feet, and the entire room shakes. Quickly you reach for the weapons, but not quickly enough as the entire floor gives way! And right as you’re touching the weapons they drop, fingers closing on nothing but air.

“Shit!” you seethe, chasing down the prizes as they drop down into the void away from you. With the weapons spinning end over end you study them carefully for a moment, making sure you won’t impale yourself with their suddenly generated blades. But you get your timings right, catching both weapons without stabbing yourself. As they both generate their luminous blades the pit becomes exceptionally darker, allowing you to see the dropping shield as well. Carefully you pass the weapon to your tail, the blade going out as your hand is no longer holding it. With the weapon now secured to your right side, you catch the shield by the handles on the inside. But it’s heavier than you’d expected, and instead of stopping instantly it drags you down through the air a foot or so before stopping, right into the path of the left’s blade. Which, surprisingly, doesn’t even scratch the shield, instead simply glancing off it without leaving a scratch. “Oh yeah, Broly will certainly like this.”

After akwardly floating in the void a moment while everything continues dropping into the depths, you manage to position your right hand’s first two fingers to your forehead. Then focusing on Cele’s energy as it’s the closest, you teleport out of the labyrinth. Your sudden appearance startles the younger woman, flashing up into a Super Saiyan as she stumbles back.

“Shit, fu-Karn? Again?” she says heatedly upon recognizing you. “What the hell? I know you can talk telepathically, give me a fucking warning before just appearing like that.”
“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.” you say, lowering your hand and reverting to your base form as she does the same. “I’ll be headed out now.”
“Wait, hold on.” she says, eyes narrowing. “We’ve been cataloging what’s still down there, and I haven’t seen any stone shields or glowing swords. Where did you find that stuff?”

That the scaling tuned absolute bonkers the moment Frieza powered up for the first time.
The Ginyu Force was the most feared team in the universe, in Vegeta's opinion at least, and Captain Ginyu had a powerlevel of 120,000, then Frieza comes in and claims he has a powerlevel of 1 million in his second form, and later he's performed 2 more transformations and claims to still only be using 1% of his true power.
By that logic we suddenly jump from 120,000 being the "ultimate feared force of the universe" to Frieza having a powerlevel of at least 100 million.
If Frieza really is that much stronger than Ginyu, why the fuck is he even using subordinates??
>>
>>4685574
Well he's an evil overlord so he needs to flaunt his superiority by having the best minions. And you can't be everywhere at once. Also he's kinda lazy.

It's really not hard to figure out why someone would want soldiers even if they could solve every problem they come across in like a fraction of a second.
>>
>>4685574
>If Frieza really is that much stronger than Ginyu, why the fuck is he even using subordinates??
Because one man cannot be everywhere. Especially if they are lazy, or prefer to not get their hands dirty with the “grunt work.” However, Freeza’s come a long way from “kill the filthy monkeys” to “shoots a political advisor for calling Karn a monkey”. And this jump in power was much more earned, starting at a powerlevel less than 3000 more than 15 years ago in-quest(almost 4 years IRL now)
>>
>>4685584
What's hard to figure out is why they went from 120,000 to 100 million to probably 10 billion by the time cell became perfect.
It got to the point where they just stopped mentioning powerlevels completely.
It doesn't make sense that Ginyu is so feared when the universe is fucking filled with people that could sneeze and kill him.
That's my point, just the scaling is off, Frieza should've been just a million when he was completely powered up, instead of increasing the levels 100's of times over for every arc.
>>
>>4685587
Yes, that's proper scaling, and what I would've wanted from the actual Dragon Ball universe.
>>
>>4685592
I want to clarify Freeza’s original absurd powerlevel wasn’t changed, he was(and still is) the hurdle Karn’s aspiring to surpass. He did pass Freeza for awhile, but then this transformation happened. Again though, with actual training and not “lol spent four months beating a weakling like a punching bag”
>>
>>4685516
“That’s kinda a long story, so hope you’re ready.” you say, and begin telling her what happened. But you don’t get far, Cele interrupting when you bring up the wall that wasn’t a wall.
“Hold on, you say the wall simply vanished?” she asks, suddenly serious. “Not a wall you punched to smithereens, but looked like it turned to smoke?”
“Like smoke and vanished, exactly.” you say, realization dawning. “Wait. That isn’t the first one of these down there, is it?”
“The one you found today marks the eight, since the hole was opened.” she says, after checking a datapad. “And you said it was at a dead end, right?”

“Yeah, centered at the end of a hallway. Inside there was a circular room, unmoving sentinels around the room and at the far end was a throne with a really old, shriveled corpse holding these.” you say, and gesture to the sword in your left as well as the one on your right hip. But something was alive, some sort of soldierwho was holding this shield, had armor built like it, and was swinging around a giant hammer. The hammer strikes to the floor broke it, and the entire room dropped down into darkness. Dunno what’s down there, but I think I put the knight down for good. After my last hit, and before the floor gave way, he didn’t get back up.”
“Thanks, I’ll make sure the dive teams are made aware.” she says, but glances to the shield. “But why’d you take that? It’s not like even I couldn’t break it in one hit, much less you.”

“If you wanna take a shot, be my guest.” you say, setting the ivory sword hilt on the ground and grabbing the shield with both hands. “If you think you’re stronger than me, go for it.”
“Hmph. Try this!” she shouts, immediately Ascending in a burst of power and pulling her arms back in a familiar stance. “Galick Gun!!”

You simply brace yourself, trying to fit as much of your own body behind the shield as you can, then her attack hits. And hits like a cannon, her Ascended powerlevel more than double your own base. But you hold firm, letting the attack push you away from the pit instead of trying to match her transformed power with your base form’s. And after a few seconds, it’s over. Cele ends the purplish pinkish beam, left panting as you peek out around it to make sure she isn’t going to try something else.

“What? The hell?” she pants, dropping her arms and transformation. “What the fuck man, what is that made of?”
“Looks like some kinda stone to me.” you tell her, walking back over and picking the ivory blade off the ground where you’d set it, well clear of the blast. “But I dunno, something doesn’t feel right. There’s more to this thing.”
cont
>>
>>4685591
Well no one knew there were stronger things than Ginyu and Frieza around. Everything that was tended to be sealed, super fucking ancient and basically a myth, or just unknown to people.

And why wouldn't you be afraid of something just because something stronger exists? You should still be afraid of a puma even though lions exist. I still treat a .22 with respect even though .44 mag is right down the street.

Sure the scaling may be pointlessly big but your arguments against it are kind of meh. And the numbers themselves were never actually important anyway.
>>
>>4685612
“And you said there was something wearing armor made of that stuff down there too?” she asks, you nodding. “Now I know what to send them down there after. Thanks for taking the time to help me get a report down.”
“Of course, no problem.” you tell her, lifting up into the sky. “If you need help clearing anything out down there, let me know.”

And before waiting on an answer take off, dashing towards Raven’s Island. As you fly, you notice hints of the early morning dawn coming from over the ocean. How long were you down there for? But you can worry about that later, as you see the island and begin touching down. Unsurprisingly she’s sitting upon, or rather floating a foot above the previous Guardian’s perching rock, sitting and meditating with her face towards the sun.

“Good morning Karn.” she says, without opening her eyes or turning towards you. “Well done, catching our time invader.”
“Thanks. And appreciate the backup.” you tell her, knowing full-well she was undoubtedly awake and ready to help at a moment’s notice. “Can you do me a favor, and hold onto these for me for a bit?”

As you ask, you set the shield down in the sand and draw both the ivory handled weapons from your tail holding them. And as you hold them, energy bursting from their points into twin blades, you feel the first rays of the morning sun break the horizon and begin warm your face. Taking a deep breath you feel actually relaxed, your body not constantly on high alert for another assassin, enemy Stand user, or other trouble. Which is of course why your instincts suddenly warn you of something dropping from above, you leaping back as an Attack Pod crashes into the beach where you were standing. Now who the hell could this be?

>It doesn't make sense that Ginyu is so feared when the universe is fucking filled with people that could sneeze and kill him
In canon the vast majority of people have a PL under 10k, so there really weren't that many who could match Ginyu. Other than Babidi's goons and the Galactic patrols toughest criminals most people would get flattened. So I can totally understand his squad's reputation being what it was.
The power-inflation definitely got out of hand, I think Toriyama said in an interview he wanted to make Super Saiyan something like a 10X increase but then realized he made Freeza too strong so he had to buff it.
A non-canon system that I personally like is that the transformation isn't actually a multiplier, it just adds about 150M as a reservoir of power onto whatever the fighter already has (so since Goku was about 3M at the time he first used it, it was a 50X "multiplier", but later it was less). The boost then increases if you unlock the ascended forms and SS2, and you can also train to increase your non-transformed power separately.
That way no matter who the Super Saiyan is, they stand a good chance to defeat untrained Freeza, making his canon thoughts concerning the transformation all the more interesting.

You say that, but I distinctly remember bleach's hollows often trying and sometimes succeeding to hunt living people that have strong spiritual energy.
I'm not sure what that would translate to in this quest, though. Ki? Stand Power? Who the fuck knows, maybe it's just one more thing that qualifies as its own shit.
Well, at any rate, I doubt they'd try to fuck with anything on New Salda. Saiyans are pretty scary when you consider them against every other species in this universe.
>>
>>4685718
Probably magic, not Ki, since magic is energy of the soul. Chilli would probably have to deal a lot more with them than Karn, but I imagine Raven takes care of most Hollow shit on New Salda.

My money's on the force or the little kernels of godhood that everyone has. Either way an actual meal for them would be about as rare as it is in bleach

>Other than Babidi's goons
Which he scoured the recesses of space for. Take Yakon, who he found on a Dark Planet. A planet that no light reaches. How far out do you have to go from a star for that? And then there’s Dabura. The literal King of the Demon Realm, which isn’t even on the same plane of existence that mortals inhabit. So of course a team who’s leader is anywhere from 10-100x stronger than your planet’s absolute strongest is terrifying. But here’s a number for scale. Vegeta’s Oozaru form, Saiyan saga, is as powerful as Goku’s Kaio-Ken against Ginyu, 60k stronger. And THAT is why the Saiyan’s were as feared as they were.
I remember that interview note.
>>4685718

>Saiyans are terrifying, especially now that they have unlocked one of their greatest racial advantages. The rest of the universe be looking at Saiyans like this is Xenoverse 1.
Thats honestly a fun little plot thread you could mess with GD. What the fuck was the Cardinal/Grand Supreme Kai smoking when they decided to make something as busted as the Saiyans? Obviously the way their built, with the many different transformations, natural battle instincts/craving for fighting, their omnivorous diet with a stomach capable of eating dead aliens raw, and a decent breeding rate, that they were DESIGNED to be fighters....but that brings into question, what were the peace loving Supreme Kai dealing with, that they created a race such as the Saiyans to deal with it?
>>
>>4685864
Buu
>>
>>4685868
Nah doesn't make sense. Buu is a singular threat that has to be dealt with a singular massive force, throwing hordes of powerful people at him just means he eats you, gets stronger, and then starts eating more people.

Not to mention that Buu basically jumped the Supreme Kais. They wouldn't have time to make an entire species. Now, if you said they were made to fight The Flood, then you might be on to something.

Don't forget that they're capable of interbreeding with races that developed completely separately from them lightyears away.
My guess is that it was an effort by the Kais to raise the general mortal power quotient (a metric important enough for Zeno to choose which universes were included in the ToP based on their rankings)
Introducing a race as stupidly strong as the Saiyans as well as making them capable of mixing with other races results in a massive boost in overall powerlevel provided there isn't some catastrophe that wipes out most life in the Universe (like Buu)
>>
>>4685864
And on episode 152, nearly four years in, anon finally asks the most important question of all: why are we here?
Not only their own transformations, but the transformations they gain when empowered by the divine. How many other species can craft their own deities? And more specifically, create one without consuming hundreds of millions of souls?
>>4685868
Buu was an ambush
>>4685873
That’s arguably worse than Buu. Flood Saiyans.
>>4685874
May be onto something. Saiyans are expressly stated to be able to fight in almost any conditions nature can conceive. How many other species do you know are that adaptable?
>>4685887
If they were a template, then why do they only exist in the twinned 6th and 7th universes? And speaking of, the twinned universes are important for a reason.

What happens to those who’d become Hollows? Do their cursed existences finally cease, bodies drop to never rise again? That’s a terrible idea, as anyone who can sense ki would know it’s there. And besides, Universe 4 tried something like that and it failed.

I think you underestimate their power. No but all jokes aside, microbes won’t be allowed as they are physically unable to remove another competitor.

>Vegeta’s Oozaru form, Saiyan saga, is as powerful as Goku’s Kaio-Ken against Ginyu, 60k stronger. And THAT is why the Saiyan’s were as feared as they were.
I'm gonna raise a wee little objection there. The Oozaru transformation increases the physical strength and destructive power by an order of magnitude, but the speed remains about the same. So Oozaru Vegeta's physical attacks would be on the 180k level, but his reflexes would still be around the 18k level, maybe *slightly* decreased due to the clumsiness the increased size provides. It's ideal for mass-destruction, less optimized for anti-personnel attacks. So I think Oozaru Vegeta would cause devastating damage if he landed a hit on Ginyu or his squadmates, but actually landing a hit against the smaller, faster targets would be difficult. I'd expect it would end up a battle of attrition where one side can't land a clean hit and the other doesn't cause serious damage when they do hit.
>>
>>4686036
Speed and reflexes aren’t increased, but seem slower due to having much greater distance to cover. And as an Oozaru, you’re a walking war crime-tier wmd. Pinpoint strikes don’t win the day, overwhelming power does like gif related. If Saiyan saga Oozaru Vegeta dropped that on Ginyu, his Force would need a new name. Wide area-of-effect ki attacks are devastatingly effective
>>
Okay, I'll admit, Karn is pretty good.

We don't need to pretend we're strong like Katsumi does.
Meanwhile Yujiro does the exact same thing casually just to flex.
That said, perfecting our flexibility is something we should be doing anyways.
It's never a bad thing to be limber.

Flexibility can be useful, especially against joint locks
>>4686442
That’s quite the thought, isn’t it? They have quite a lot in common, regarding the human emotions used to power both like love, fear, hate. And what is a coincidence?
>>
>>4686573
>Flexibility can be useful, especially against joint locks
See that's the thing.
Joint locks, blood chokes, projections, any conventional grappling technique really...
They've all kinda faded into irrelevance for two big reasons.
>1. Getting an opponent who can manipulate and project Ki into a hold leaves you open to an Explosive Wave or similar technique.
>2. Due to flight being so common, the heights that a lot of fights take place at make most ground based techniques worthless.
If you're on the ground long enough for somebody to overpower you or you're getting knocked into solid Earth faster than you can retain control of yourself, you're already fucking up.
>>
>>4686624
Joint locks were exactly the thing that allowed two massively outmatched fighters to kill their overwhelming opponent, though?
Even though everyone could fly at that point, they still locked Raditz down to turn him into a donut.
>>
>>4686661
And that was something he could have gotten out of super easily with a basic explosive wave or just shooting Goku point blank with a ki blast.
Joint locks are only effective if your opponent can't just kill you point blank while immobilized.
>>
>>4686624
Depends on who’s using them. If Karn decides this coming training to focus on grappling, you DO already have the pieces absolutely to ruin someone. Get a choke of some kind, and activate your Unmovable Energy Body. Good luck breaking an immovable hold.
>>4686661
How many times did Raditz escape, only to get caught again because he’d get cocky?
>>4686669
Guided Eye Beams would ruin most grapplers, if they don’t immediately go for a neck breaker
>>
>>4687008
Oh god, we could totally try to work on combining explosive wave and unmovable energy body.
Invincible, grabbing you and incapable of moving, while constant pressure from a fucking explosion forces you outward.
>>
>>4687047
You just described an upgraded grinder
>>
>>4687064
Yeah, I know
I'm also the person who invented the grinder :^)

Now to brainstorm even more ways to upgrade it. Energy swords sprouting out from the energy body? Extremely debilitating and painful electrical effects if we get better with the dark side so that we can apply force lightning to some of our techniques?
>>
>>4687008
>Get a choke of some kind, and activate your Unmovable Energy Body. Good luck breaking an immovable hold.
GENIUS!
>>4687086
We could add Ki claws to our grappling for maximum damage just from getting a hold.
And if we master fear absorption we can channel that as soon as our opponents realize how fucked they are and start struggling.
>>
>>4687008

Pegging is philistine garbage. Competitive sex where dominance is aggressively traded back and forth as the bath the man and woman fight for the top position is the truly patrician take. Nah m8 worst timeline is Majin Frieza being put down by King Karn. The Karn clan gets fuckin annihilated in that one and all that's left is a bitter old Karn spinning a weathered and cracked ring on his finger. Dude can't even lash out since most of creation got got in the clash between the two strongest in the universe.

Karn the king of ash.

The worst part about it is that timeline is how possible it would actually be.
>Frieza is totally susceptible to Babidi's magics
>Karn and Ubo are probably the only people strong enough to fight Majin Frieza
>The only way to get an edge is Emerald Oozaru
>Karn deletes that section of the Universe, stars and all
>Ubo dies due to lack of solar rays and injuries sustained in the battle
>Karn reflexively creates a barrier for himself like OG Broly
>wakes up
>realizes what happened
>can't bring himself to end it all
>would never submit to the Gods for judgement
>lives in isolation on the dying rock that used to be called New Salda

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 152 Intermission-

AGE 780, WORLD OF VOID

“Come on Daddy, don’t give up!” you hear someone shouting. Everything’s spinning around so bad you can’t figure out which way’s up, but you know that you have to get back on your feet, and keep fighting. The fate of your entire universe depends on it. “I know you won’t lose, not like this!”
“Stay down.” Universe 11’s strongest says, standing over you in his red and black uniform with his arms crossed. “You have fought well, warrior, but this battle is over.”
“Oh yeah?” you reply, getting your hands flat on the arena as you begin pushing yourself upright. Everything’s swimming around, that last heavy punch to the side of your head really rung your bells, and nearly knocked you out. But everyone is counting on you to win this one. You won’t lose, no matter what! So before Jiren and everyone else in attendance, once more you exhaustedly push yourself up to a knee, then your feet. “And who decided that?”

You are Karn. The Saiyan who’s broken through all mortal limits, husband to the Super Saiyan Goddess Meloka, Freeza’s right hand man, and the man who challenged Lord Beerus the Destroyer himself and survived. You’ve fought all manner of foes, from gods and immortals to assassins and slaves, yet after it all you’re still standing, ready for more.

“You’re strong, I’ll give you that.” you say, swaying a bit unsteadily on your feet. And just as Whis had instructed you time and time again you inhale slowly, filling your lungs to capacity as you straighten your back. Then you exhale just as slowly, lowering your head to again face the single-strongest fighter you’ve ever challenged in your own timeline. You let go of your emotions, surrendering yourself entirely to that eerie, almost unnatural calm. “But can you keep up with this?”
“Look at him, he can’t even lift his arms!” Universe 11’s clown-looking Destroyer cheers from the stands, the spectators little more than background noise to you now. “Our victory is now all but guaranteed!”

“I don’t know what you’re hoping to achieve by continuing your pointless resistance.” Jiren says, unfolding his arms. “But you can’t defeat me.”
“If this can’t beat you, nothing will.” you say, and start walking right towards him.
“H-Hey, Whis! What’s my dad doing?” you hear Karn Jr. ask the angel. But before he can answer, your body moves. Faster than thought your body launches itself forward, boot aimed right for his big grey face. Yet to your surprise, he somehow manages to narrowly dodge you! Jiren dodged an attack even YOU didn’t know you were going to use!
>>
>>4689662
https://youtube.com/watch?v=zx1Okb8QKOg

“I thought I was going to punch.” you think to yourself, body flipping backwards and spinning around to stop your momentum. Without being able to fly, your momentum would cause you to just fly right off the side of the arena otherwise. But as your body reorients on the powerful fighter, now more your size since you’re no longer in the towering Berserker forms, he launches a single powerful punch for your head. But unlike before, when he rang your bells just moments ago, this time your body moves on it’s own. You spin in a counterclockwise circle inside his punch, right fist moving automatically for his head. But Jiren sees it coming, and manages to pull his forearm up just in time to block your strike.

KABOOM

The force of your blow launches a massive shockwave out, and if anyone were still close to either of you they would have no-doubt been blasted away. But after your first round with the powerful fighter, everyone who hadn’t gotten clear was blasted away.

“Hrrrmph!” Jiren exhales, eyes flashing crimson. Yet before you can even think to defend yourself, your arms are already moving. Dozens of strikes rain on your arms as they move on their own, intercepting Jiren’s powerful, flashy attack. But it does launch you back and away from him, after the attack ends your body flipping backwards on it’s own and landing in a three point stance with your right arm back and ready to strike as you slide further away. Then before Jiren can attack your fist flies forward, launching a powerful shockwave at his chest. “HAAA!!”

Jiren’s fist crashes against the directed shockwave, the two powerful forces canceling each other out. You think on how wierd it feels to be a spectator in your own body as it rises on it’s own to your feet, right foot sliding back and taking the stance you’ve practiced millions of times. But with your body moving on it’s own, freeing your mind from the fight, you’re able to pay more attention to what other people are saying. And the first one you hear is Beerus’s fat, loud-mouthed brother Champa taunting Universe 11’s deities.

“Ha! You thought your Jiren was so high and mighty, but he doesn’t stand a chance now!” the fat cat shouts. “It doesn’t matter how strong Jiren is, he can’t beat Ultra Instinct!”
“Wait, what?!” the clown shouts, you hearing the worry in his tone as your body launches itself at Jiren again. “Ultra Instinct? Him?”
“That’s the only way he could beat our Sixth Universe’s own Assassin Hit before!” Champa retells gleefully, as you throw more than two dozen blows in that time. But as you learned earlier Jiren’s no slouch, blocking every single one of your blows. “If he’s going there, you’re done for! No matter how strong Jiren is!”
>>
>>4689669
“We’ll see about that.” 11’s Kai says arrogantly. “We’re it any other fighter I would be worried. But this is Jiren we’re talking about.”
“Yeah, you’re right.” the clown says, sounding far more relaxed as you kick off Jiren’s guard and land more than two dozen feet away. “Nobody can beat Jiren, Ultra Instinct or not. His power is just too great.”
“Seems your universe’s gods have real faith in you.” you say, enjoying the irony of gods having faith in a mortal instead of the other way around as you rise back up to your full height. “Now let’s see how warranted that is.”

“If those attacks are all you can manage like this, you’ll never beat me.” Jiren retorts. Despite the months and months dedicated to training with Whis, you still hadn’t unlocked Ultra Instinct’s full potential yet. And as you discovered after your battle with Hit in that tournament, using it like this will quickly burn through your stamina and leave you empty. You’re gonna have to think of something, and quick. “All you are doing is wasting my time.”
“Maybe that’s all I need to do.” you retort, enjoying the sudden look of shock on his face as you once more start walking towards him. “You’re strong, there’s no doubt about that. Even stronger than I am. But unlike me, you’re all alone out here. None of your allies can help you, while I’m not even the strongest fighter here representing my universe.”

“Impossible.” Jiren says, but you can see the sudden uncertainty in his giant eyes. He’s been sitting back so far this tournament, not going after anyone and remaining mostly motionless and protected by his team. But now, after just a few minutes fighting your full powered transformation, you can already see the hints of fatigue in how he’s carry by himself. Which isn’t a surprise, as someone at his level with no competition could so easily get complacent with their conditioning. Relying instead on their overwhelming raw power to end fights immediately. “Then who is stronger than you?”

“That would of course be myself, Jiren of the Eleventh.” Freeza says, you looking to your left and seeing he’s not alone. In his right hand Freeza’s holding a purple rabbit in Team Universe 11’s colors by the oversized ears, and in his left is dragging the bulky, mustachioed Destroyer candidate Toppo by the ankle. Freeza then tosses them both well clear of the arena, past the giant combined fighter from the Third who’s being battered towards the edge by your wife’s azure aura-clad form. There’s no way they’ll be coming back from that. “While you’ve been distracted battling my general here, the rest of your universe’s team have been swiftly dispatched. They were the last to fall, which only leaves you. Now prepare yourself, to face the full, limitless power of True Golden Freeza!”
>>
>>4689673
“SSSSHHYYYYAAAAA!!” Freeza shouts, golden aura exploding up and out from him as it rocks the World of Void. You sense several of the weaker fighters blasted clear of the stage amidst various surprised shouts and screams. His aura bursting forth changes the entire realm, tinging the entire realm’s odd sky with gold. After several seconds he dials back his energy, no doubt reveling in the sudden shock amidst the twelve universes’ deities. You overhear bits and pieces of mumbled worry amongst them, Champa of course the loudest.

“Impossible! I thought Karn was your greatest fighter!” he shouts to Beerus. “Where the hell did he come from?”
“Did you not remember?” Beerus taunts, sounding more than a little self-satisfied. “Karn beat your team’s best before Freeza over there ever got the chance to step into the ring. You never even got to fight Universe 7’s strongest.”
“Grrrrr!” Champa growls, then starts shouting at his team. “Caulifla, Kale! Do it now!”
“One mortal steps foot into the realm of the angels, while yet another mortal has power beyond even his Universe’s own Destroyer.” one of the non-participating universe’s Supreme Kais says, voice full of worry. “Such interesting times we’re living in.”
“Such a beautiful transformation.” Universe 2’s female Destroyer says almost longingly. “Beerus, you never told me one of your mortals possessed such beauty.”

“Well now, I hope you’ve said your prayers.” Freeza says, cracking his neck as he stretches it left and right. “Between Karn and myself, your chances of winning this day have dwindled down to zero. So instead, how about I make you an offer? Abandon the Eleventh, and join me instead. I could use a man with your levels of power.”
“Hmph.” the grey warrior scoffs, facing the two of you down. “Bring it.”
“Well, he did ask for it.” Freeza says, turning to you and making an exaggerated gesture towards Jiren. “After you.”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=4M-rJr9d8sI

“HAAAAA!!” you shout, launching yourself towards the mighty warrior, Freeza matching your pace. Having tried to fight against his full power yourself a few days before this tournament, you know he’s a lot faster than this, so he’s keeping pace for the combined assault. “Jiren! We’re settling this right here and now!”
“Bring it.” he replies simply, just before you and Golden Freeza crash into him. Your body throws a right kick, left jab then turning right elbow in the same time Freeza fires off two right jabs at Jiren’s face, a left turning kick, tail swipe then a flipping overhead knee. Jiren is pressed into a full defensive, unable to retaliate as your combined attack swiftly begins pushing him back.
>>
>>4689677
“I-Impossible!” 11’s Destroyer shouts panickedly. “Jiren can’t be losing! Not like this!”
“SHYAA!” Freeza bellows, his right fist finding it’s mark and crashing into Jiren’s left cheek.
“HRRRRAAAAA!!” you bellow as well, your body seeing an opening and throwing a powerful left uppercut into Jiren’s gut just below his ribs, followed by a straight right aimed at his chin. Meanwhile Freeza switches levels as well, hooking Jiren’s left leg with his tail and pulling the fighter off-balance just in time for your fist to find it’s mark. Your strike launches Jiren back, the powerful fighter flipping backwards to land on his feet and sliding backwards to a stop at the edge of the arena. This is it, one more push and he’s going over! He notices this, glancing back and seeing the abyss below. “Freeza, now! Let’s end-!”

“HAAAAAAA!!” Jiren suddenly roars, crimson ki exploding off of him. His sudden surge of power rivals Freeza’s, perhaps even surpassing it as waves of energy crash against you both. A pillar of ki shoots up into the abyss, as Jiren’s power keeps growing larger and larger.
“I-Impossible.” Freeza says, you both getting pushed back a foot or two from him by the sheer force of power radiating off of him. “I think he may actually be stronger than me.”
“That’s the way, Jiren! Fight back!” the purple rabbit of the Eleventh shouts. “Show these Seventh Universe losers what REAL power looks like!”
“S-Such pressure!” Champa shouts panickedly. “No mortal should have that much power, period!”
“Karn, Freeza, you’re not allowed to lose! Hear me?!” Beerus shouts, you hearing the panic in his voice. But you can feel it too, Jiren’s full strength is simply terrifying. He was really holding back this much against you earlier?!

“Sorry I’m late, that big bastard was tougher than it looked.” Meloka says, your blue-haired wife appearing right by your left side using her Instant Transmission, as Freeza stands to your right. With her divine ki in this form you can’t sense her energy at all, but judging from the pressure she’s exuding her power is at it’s peak. “Now all we have to do is take this bastard out, and there’ll be no one left to stop-“

But her sentence is interrupted, as you all feel another tremendous power suddenly emerge from behind you, where Broly’d been fighting the two Universe 6 Saiyans. Turning around you see a bright green light from atop the arena’s central pillar, and as it fades reveals a new warrior you hadn’t seen yet.

“Kale! And Caulifla! Make Kefla!” she declares, arms crossed defiantly as she looks down on you all. “And now I’ll show you weaklings something really special! HRRRYYAAAAAAAA!!”
>>
>>4689680
The fused warrior’s power multiplies itself hundreds of times over, her hair turning green and sparks dancing around her body as she takes on an all-too familiar form. Somehow she copied your variant of the Ascended Super Saiyan form!

“Oho? Another fusion?” Freeza asks, Meloka sighing out disappointedly.
“I’ll be right back, after I kick her ass too. Don’t either of you lose to that guy, got it?” your wife says, again using her Instant Transmission as you turn back towards Jiren. Who, surprisingly, hadn’t taken a single step away from the edge of the arena during all this. Cocky bastard.
“Are you done gawking yet?” he asks, standing confidently with his arms crossed. “If you want to stand back and watch their fight, do so from the stands.”

“Ho ho, confident words from someone who has eliminated only two other contenders.” Freeza taunts, as your body moves without the rest of you. Before you’ve even fully realized it you are back to grips with Jiren. Yet this time, as he pulls back his right fist, it becomes cloaked in his overwhelming aura. If another blow like that one hits you, Ultra Instinct or not, you may not be getting back up. Fortunately Instinct doesn’t let you down yet, your body twisting clockwise around his punch as it unleashes a beam of destruction. You don’t worry about that, instead watching as your left shin connects to the right side of Jiren’s head and knocks him off balance. The bruiser tries taking a half step with his left to reclaim his balance, but there’s nowhere to step.

“What?” Jiren utters, momentarily shocked. Which is of course the moment Freeza tries to capitalize on.
“Begone!” your golden friend shouts, firing a cutting Death Slash at him. The blade of energy slices through the super tough material with ease, carving a path of death right at Universe 11’s last hope of survival.
“HRRRMPH!” he exhales, catching the ledge with his left hand and launching himself into the air. Not straight up into the air, but instead right at Freeza! You touch down on a heel and pivot, rushing back but already know you can’t get there first. But you do get to watch Freeza fighting this monster one on one. “HAAAA!”
“SSHYYAAAAAA!!” Freeza counters, both fighters’ right fist crashing together. The impact’s shockwave stops your dash cold, body unconsciously flipping back onto all fours and sliding to keep from being blown away. But as they struggle a moment, testing power against power Freeza smirks, and suddenly Jiren wins the exchange. His punch overpowers Freeza, but that looks like it was his plan. Freeza’s body used that transferred momentum and twists, delivering a momentum-boosted left right to the grey alien’s jaw.

“You may be powerful, but strength is all you have!” Freeza taunts as his golden aura flares, using Jiren’s shock at getting hit as an opening to drive a strong follow-up right square into his guts. Then as Jiren bends over a bit from the blow Freeza explodes off the ground, driving his left knee into Universe 11’s strongest’s chin, then follows up with a same-foot kick his chin to send him flying back. “Unlike you, I am not here alone, fighting only for myself. And while, individually, we may not be stronger than you, trusting each other and fighting together we cannot fall. Your standoffishness shall be the cause of your demise, Jiren.”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=M2gElxBGwjc

“Trust. Such a foolish notion.” he says, rising back up to his full height. His aura suddenly begins swelling, his power soaring even higher than before. “Strength is justice! Strength is absolute! All is meaningless without victory, to be defeated is to lose everything! And I refuse to go through that ever! AAAAGAAAAAIN!! RAAAAAAAAUUUUGH!!”

Flame-like energy radiates off of Jiren like a storm, you and Freeza both bracing yourselves against the tremendous force. You hear several different fighters scream as they’re blasted away, you immediately focusing on their ki to sense any of your family. But no one from your universe was blown away thankfully, and you instead teleport beside Freeza to stand together as his screaming ends. Flames made of his ki litter the area around his sudden explosion of power, and for the first time in a long time aren’t sure if you can really win this.

“Been awhile since we’ve had to fight one opponent together seriously, hasn’t it?” Freeza asks as you appear beside him. “I’d almost forgotten what it feels like to be weaker than someone.”
“But you fight me every few months or so, so it should be routine.” you jab back jokingly, as Jiren begins menacingly walking towards you all out of his flames. But then you look at your clenched right hand as it trembles, the unique aura of Instinct fading for a second before it flares back up. “But this is bad. I only have a minute or so left in this form, before my body will give out on me. I don’t know if I can win this.”

“Hmph. I never thought I’d hear those words from you.” Freeza says as you look up, his golden aura blazing as he just begins walking towards Universe 11’s strongest. “If you and I can’t do this, right here right now, then everything we’ve fought and bled for will have been for nothing. Everything we’ve triumphed over will have been meaningless. If there’s ever been a time to surpass your limits, just one last time, it’s right here and now! Step beyond this state of the gods, and use this power to it’s absolute fullest. I believe in you, Karn.”
>>
>>4689686
https://youtube.com/watch?v=17rpm63gm-4

Freeza’s words hit deep, as you close your eyes to take a deep breath the faces of your family and friends all begin flashing before you. Meloka and your kids, their spouses and kids, Towa and your kids in another time, Freeza and King Vegeta, your friends and fellow Saiyans. Despite how powerful they have all become in their own rights, when things look bleak and hopeless everyone’s always looking towards and counting on you to save the day. No matter the odds, it always comes down to you against whatever threat comes your people’s way. From monsters like Buu and Hirudegarn, to that Tuffle monster Baby and even Beerus himself, everyone looks to you to save them. And if you can’t do it, who will?

And as you exhale you let go. All your worries, your doubts and your fears, you let them all fade away as you give yourself fully over to this calming hurricane of power welling up from within. You’d always been hesitant to fully hand control over to something else, but with no other options you entrust yourself to a power beyond your understanding. Tranquility fills your heart and soul as you breathe away the difference in power, abandoning the fear of failure and what it means for your universe and everything you hold dear to lose. You even surrender your own breathing, letting this force control your entire being. And as you do, you feel something begin to change.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=h8qg-XzHgUk

Not just power but peace wells up within you, a full acceptance of whatever outcome giving yourself over full to this power means. And opening your eyes you’re surprised to find your body had moved without you even feeling it. Your right hand is holding the stronger fighter’s left fist back from Freeza’s face effortlessly, firmly grasped around his wrist.

“Wh-What?!” Jiren says, confused as he can only see your back as you look at Freeza. But you’ve surrendered everything to this power, letting it act for you. And your Instinct isn’t going to waste time trading words with him. Instead as Jiren tries to pull his fist back your body immediately let’s go, twisting around a half circle and smashing your right shin into the left side of his head. And almost immediately follow that up with a bavkflip, left foot catching Jiren’s chin and launching him skyward. “GYAAH?!”
“Hmph, I knew you could do it.” Freeza says, placing his hand on your back. And as he does you feel his power surging into you, amplifying your exhausted body to keep fighting. “Now do it Karn. Show those so-called gods what your Instinct can really do! Show them all the true resolve of Universe 7!”

And wordlessly you do, launching off the ground up after Universe 11’s strongest. You cannot fail, too many people are counting on you! Not now, or ever!

Das it mane
>>
>>4689688
Honestly I'm hoping that because of Karn's past his Ultra Instinct is basically turning himself into a silver version of Doom Guy. Karns Instinct is to Kill not Fight after all.

And while this is fun I'm still waiting on that Primal Berserker Timeline GD.

Karn would have to fight against his own natural instincts to fully use UI, which is paradoxical as hell. But you see why.

>>4689729
>You know who’s even more susceptible to magic than Freeza? Ubo.
To be completely fair, Ubo isn't any more or less vulnerable to magic than anybody else is.
It's just one of the few things he's not innately defended against.
Also I was referring specifically to the Majin ritual, which relies on the victim having some mind of critical flaw in their character.
Somebody like Frieza, for all his good points, is still a ruthless dictator who was raised as an egotistical brat hell-bent on ruling over the entirety of creation.
He's come a long way since we met him, but you can never really get rid of what his upbringing gave him.
Meanwhile Ubo is a solid dude who probably has a "pure" heart by DBZ standards.

>It’s entire endgame was Truth’s final wish. Much like Polnareff’s Chariot Requiem.
Well yes, the question is what exactly was Truth's final wish. I don't remember it being explicitly stated and assume it was something along the lines of "don't let those bastards win!" but I wondered if it would annihilate the strikeforce then go on standby leaving that last prophet in charge or if it would interpret the instruction as one to make sure the PTO didn't win the war (not that they'd be in a particularly great spot even if LER went into standby, but you know).

Neat interlude too btw. Karn going Blanco against El Hermano soon?

You did Legendary Primal Karn from what I remember but not Berserker Primal.

True enough, Majinizing someone requires an emotional exploit or fault.
>>4689759
To not let you win. Ever. And Lyin’ Eyes Requiem was created to do exactly that. Without Divine Dragon Force’s wish, or outside help, you couldn’t have beaten it.

If you can do one before the Primal/God choice I'd appreciate it. Its litterally the only form Karn can get besides...like Destoryer Karn or Berserker Destroyer God that you haven't shown in the ToP yet.

So GD, is Karn's family recognized as a distinct bloodline by New Salda's Monarchy?
I know our family already has a reputation as freaks of nature on top of being directly related to a living legend, but are they considered special enough to be distinguished from other Saiyan clans officially?
I ask because it seems like something that's been hinted at in a few of the Epilogues taking place in the far future, namely the ones where our descendants are specifically tracing their lineage back to us and using their unique transformations as proof of their heritage.
Is it possible for Karn's house to adopt their own symbols and heraldry at some point?
>>
>>4690998
The answer is no. The Oozaru form doesn’t change their genetic makeup to that extreme.

In your time, King Vegeta IV has worked really hard to(successfully) squash the influence of the “royal families”, those who were clan leaders before a united Saiyan race was formed post Saiyan-Tuffle war. In it’s place he has implemented a system of meritocracy, with Nappa and Tatsu’s help of course. And Emilia behind him, his ever-present shadow who aided him most against the attempted coup. Oh, wait, you haven’t heard about that IC yet, have you?

Sounds about right.

There's a lot ways that can go wrong, namely some blood thirsty retard with an obscene power level killing his way to a leadership position. But for now its not a bad way to go.

So what was the coup's endgame? Depose Vegeta and then have Karn notice some shit happened and come over and start slapping them?

I swear if they had a really stupid plan for dealing with Karn I'm finna laugh at them.

>>4691180
Obviously anybody stupid enough to want to depose King Vegeta is also short-sighted enough to not realize he's practically a member of our family.

>There's a lot ways that can go wrong, namely some blood thirsty retard with an obscene power level killing his way to a leadership position. But for now its not a bad way to go.
I think you misunderstood me. His meritocracy is NOT based on one’s powerlevel, as King Vegeta III’s system was. But rather how well you do your job.
And forget I said anything about it, Vegeta hasn’t revealed IC it happened yet. Or what he did to them.
>>4691180
The people who would be dumb enough to try and kill someone tens of times stronger than them put together would also fail to realize that, despite having no interest in the throne nor politics himself, that Karn wouldn’t have gotten at least vengeance.

Really this. But let’s just say that the “royal Saiyan blood” isn’t an issue anymore. Not after Emilia went to work for her king.

The mystery Attack Pod’s sudden landing kicks up a cloud of sand, you shielding your eyes with your left forearm for several seconds until the winds begin to die down. As they do you lower your arm but not your guard, weapons held defensively as you wait to see the pod open. Expanding your ki sense you feel an extremely low singular powerlevel within, not even six digits’ worth. But then the pod begins opening, a young man emerging from it. The youth is wearing a Saiyan battle suit, tail waving once as he steps out of the pod and sees you on one side, and Raven on the other.

“O-Oh, so sorry about that.” the kid says timidly, rubbing the back of his head embarrassed. “Didn’t mean to interrupt you.”
“You had no intentions of hitting anyone, so it’s quite alright.” Raven says, then grabs both the boy and his pod with telekinesis and begins lifting them into the air.
“Wait, wh-what’s going on?” he shouts confused, Raven quickly using her mental prowess to pull all the sand back into the pit before setting both of them back atop the now-leveled sand. Which gives you a whole new appreciation for her power. You’re okay with your telekinesis, but not “grabbing billions of grains of sand scattered to the winds” good. Seems you still have a whole lot of improving you can do there. “Woah. What are you?”
“I am a lot of things.” she says, a faint smirk on her lips. “But to you, Tarble, just call me Raven.”

“You really impresse-Wait. How do you know my name?” Tarble asks, clearly confused by New Salda’s Guardian. You decide to save the kid some trouble, walking up past him to her and again offering the ivory hilts. Which she grabs, and to your surprise the blades do not appear in her hands. “And who are you, may I ask?”
“My name’s Karn.” you say to him, the boy’s jaw dropping a moment before clearing his throat. “So, what’re you doing here?”
“I’m here to see my father. King Vegeta.” he says, and now it’s time for your jaw to hit the ground. Vegeta has a KID? You have a hard time believing that, as this kid’s at least as old as Chaya. But glancing to Raven she nods slightly, meaning this kid’s telling the truth. Or at least his version. “Do you know where he is?”

What do you do?
>Instruct him how to find Vegeta’s fortress, and fly back to your ship. Maybe you can get a bit more sleep before the kids wake up

“Yeah, hold on. Let me get him.” you say, while focusing your mind and thinking to Vegeta. “Hey, you awake? We may have a problem.”
“Karn? What’s happening?” he replies, worry and a serious frustration radiating through from his mind into the link. “We’d better not be under attack again.”
“I don’t think so.” you answer. “Some kid just crashed down on Raven’s Island, claiming to be your kid. What should I do with him?”

But you don’t get a response. For several seconds, Tarble looking at you confused as you shrug your shoulders. And almost as soon as you’re about to give up and end the link, Vegeta replies.

“I’m on my way. Twenty seconds.” he answers curtly, the connection ending.
“Well you’re in luck, you don’t have to move.” you tell him. “King Vegeta’s on his way here right now.”
“Really? Father’s coming here?” he says, seemingly a bit more timid now. “D-Did he say anything about my-?”
“Tarble.” King Vegeta says, you turning and seeing the King of the Saiyans. Not dressed in his more decorative armor, but just his training suit drenched in sweat. Emilia is here as well, his ever-present shadow a few feet back. However she’s not in her disguised but full form, towering behind the king like a bodyguard. Which in a way she is, the two have been nigh-inseparable for years now. Seems he was hitting his training early this morning, something you need to get back to as well.
“Wait, Vegeta? Brother? Hold on, you’re the king now?” Tarble says, and suddenly everything makes a whole lot more sense. As you realize this and turn back to Vegeta he gives you a small smirk, then telepathically gives an “I’ll handle this” to you. “What happened?”
“I’ll tell you everything, but not here.” he says, then turns to you. “We haven’t seen each other for over ten years, I’m sure neither of you would mind?”
“Of course, you two have lots to talk about.” Raven says to him, then more to you. “I think we all have our own matters to attend to. Some louder and rowdier this morning than others.”

“Yeah. Good to meet you, Tarble.” you say, taking the hint and grabbing the stone shield before flying off back towards your ship. It’s already been a long morning, but from what Raven hinted the kids are already up. So you’d best get back, and get them ready. Flying back to your ship you land just at the base of the ramp, and are surprised to see Broly, Tatsu, and Tomi all already dressed and walking down the ramp. They see you and what you’re carrying, and all stop. “Morning kiddos. You’re up early.”
“I thought you’d gone off training, so I went to do the same.” Broly explains. “Tatsu and Tomi got up too, so we were all going to go.”
cont
>>
>>4693397
“Not a bad idea, good way to wake yourself up.” you say, and plant the bottom of the shield in the sand. “Here, I got you something. Your last shield broke, so I found you a better one.”
“R-Really?” he asks, seeming genuinely surprised.
“Of course. I was looking for something for Chilli’s wedding coming up soon, and found gifts for him and Megumin.” you reply. “But I also found this, and knew it was for you. Here, hold it.”
“Okay.” he says, taking the shield on his left arm. At first he has a bit of difficulty, the shield clearly heavier than he was expecting. “Urgh! This one’s really heavy!”

“That’s not all, watch this.” you say, and transform up to your Super Saiyan form. His eyes widen in surprise as you point a finger at him, and fire a Death Beam. Your energy strikes the shield, but instead of piercing through it and striking your son is mostly dissipated, the remnants of the energy deflected skyward to fizzle out. “This one’s much tougher than the last one.”
“Woah! So cool!” both Tatsu and Tomi say simultaneously, clearly excited. “C’mon, let’s go train with that!”
“Thanks Dad.” Broly says, still clearly surprised by the thoughtful gesture. You walk up and place your hand on his head, ruffling his hair. “I-I dunno what to say.”
“Then don’t say anything.” you reply with a chuckle. “Would have kept me out of more trouble when I was your age.”
“Are you coming with us?” Tatsu and Tomi ask you. “Will you train us this morning?”

“I’ve got to go gather all my students for their first day back training.” you say to them, walking over and placing a hand on each twin’s head. “So I can’t today. Maybe another day?”
“Okay, sounds fair.” Tatsu and Tomi say, Tomitsu also thinking it to you through the extended physical contact of all three of you. Ruffling their hair a bit you then let them go and they fly off towards the mainland. Meanwhile you turn back to the ship, and make your way inside. As you do the smell of Silver’s cooking hits your nose, making your mouth water.

But you have other things to do first, and so turn towards your room and begin making your way there instead. It only takes you’s few moments, the automatic door siding open to show your wife and kids. Meloka’s already gotten the younger ones dressed, but to your surprise Caulifla’s not here.

“Mornin’ hun.” you say, walking over as she picks up both Karn Jr and Okira and give her a quick kiss. “Everything going good?”
“Yeah, Cauli ran out just before Broly and the older twins did.” she tells you, holding one kid on each hip. “Something about her meeting up with Turles’s little girl, Ticho? But she was in a hurry, so it must be something important.”
“Whatever they’re up to, I’m sure they can handle it.” you say, sure your daughter isn’t up to anything bad. Of all your children, she’s certainly the most upbeat and positive; you’ve even heard others call her the “Smiling Angel” when out and about. Which of course she is, going around and offering hers and Triumph’s healing to anyone and everyone. She’s a good kid.

“Daaaaaa!” Karn Jr shouts, almost lunging out of Meloka’s arm at you. Your body moves almost automatically, reaching down and catching your son with your left hand. “Aaaaa!”
“Careful kiddo.” you chide softly, as Meloka wordlessly hands him to you. You take your youngest son, everyone else ready and lead them all out of your room.

“How about this?” you offer, quickly telling Meloka your plan telepathically, which she agrees with. “Your mother will be taking little Okira to breakfast over with Silver, and I’ll go with whoever wants to catch their own. How’s that sound?”
“YAY!!” they shout, double high-fiving each other before taking off at a sprint down different paths of the hall. But to your surprise it’s Kayle who’s rushing towards the exit, and Maz who is headed towards Silver’s kitchen. Kind of the opposite how you thought they’d go, given their questions but you just roll with it, turning to your wife.

“After breakfast I’m going to see about getting our students back to training.” you tell her. “Do you want to join i-?”
“Of course, they’re my students too.” she says, gently slugging your forearm. “Better eat good, we won’t slow down for you if you get hungry.”
“There’s a whole ocean of food, doubt I’ll go hungry.” you say with a chuckle, Meloka floating up to eye level and the two of you share another kiss before parting ways, Meloka taking Karn Jr with her for his own breakfast. You head outside, Kayle waiting for you and almost bouncing up and down in excitement.

“C’mon, c’mon!” she shouts excitedly, “Let’s go!”
“You’re gonna be competing against your old man for breakfast today, you think you’re ready?” you ask, Kayle flashing you a cheeky grin before taking a low, four-point stance in the sand. “Alright, on three. One. Tw-“
“Three!!” she shouts, exploding off the ground and out over the ocean. You chuckle, blasting off after her. And while you could easily catch and pass your daughter, you decide to let her fly out first, and pick her spot. Which she does after a few moments, shooting straight down into the sea. You fly on past, headed out to the open ocean to see what you find. The further out you go, you begin sensing more and more sea life with your ki sense. Until you sense a decently-sized powerlevel rushing up towards you. And just before it arrives you watch as a giant shark leaps out of the water. But then you see why.

Open spoiler pic now

A massive set of jaws suddenly burst forth from the sea, clamping down on the beast’s sides. And before you can even really react the monster’s jaws split the shark, cutting right through it like a blade. The beast’s middle is devoured entirely, tail and head both dropping back to the sea as the giant creature’s jaws begin swiftly descending back beneath the waves. You found something worth killing.

But how do you do this?
>Rush after it, and fight underwater
>Use your Energy Javelins, try and blast the creature’s dangerous head right off without damaging the rest
>Try your telekinesis, and attempt pulling it out of the water to see what you’re against, then Super Ki Blade decapitation
>IT below it, then Piercing Fist Mk.II right through it’s head

After Raven's little show, I've gotten curious as to how far we can push our telekinesis.
Worst case scenario is we just can't lift it and have to go after it the old fashioned way.

Remember that time during war with Covenant when we used telekinesis to grab, stop and crash into the ground Covenant's whole ship that was flying away and evacuating from the planet's surface?
I think we can lift that sea monster as it's nothing compared to that ship.

“WOOOOAAAAAAH!!” she shouts, waving her arms wildly. “That thing’s huuuuuge!”
“If I’d have known it’d be so much trouble, I would have gone for a shark too.” you tell her, Kayle having clearly already tried using her ki to cook her food with ki. So you take the time to teach her how, focusing her energy properly into a ball of ki and firing it, the energy lighting her catch up for several seconds before the energy burns out. Leaving a steaming, giant fish for her to eat all by herself as you turn to your own meal. Clearly you won’t eat it all, even at your hungriest something that without it’s giant head is still three times the size of Kayle’s meal isn’t something you’ll eat alone. But you’re not worried, focusing your own ki and firing it down the creature’s neck hole to cook the beast. After the meat is steaming you start at the tail, chopping it off with a ki blade and taking a bite of the white meat. And the entire morning’s struggles you’ve been through were worth it just for this. “Woah, that’s good. Hey Kayle, come try a bite of mine.”

“Okay!” she says excitedly, running over to see the tail with a single bite taken out of it. She bites down next to where you had, and her eyes light up. And before you can get a word out of her she takes another giant bite. As she does you cut her a section of the tail off at least a foot long, her eyes sparkling. Within a minute she’s picked the whole section clean to the bone, as you’d continued going further down from the piece you’d cut her. When the tail’s nearly done she turns to you, eyes sparkling as she looks over to the rest of the giant beast. And before she can even ask you nod, Kayle leaping at the tail stump and continuing to feast. As you’re eating, to your surprise sense something approaching from the sea. Something surprisingly powerful, with a number at least in the six digits . As it gets closer you turn from your meal, getting between yourself and Kayle as you see one of the crustacean peoples begin emerging from the sea. It sees you and Kayle, who hasn’t noticed from the sounds you hear and is still chowing down obliviously. It looks between you and the beast, and despite not speaking or understanding crab, complete shock is a universal language. And, fortunately, so is telepathy.

But what do you say?
>Tell the crab it’s welcome to help itself, or take it back to it’s people because you can’t eat all this yourself
>Ask what it wants, and why it’s here
>Try and find out what this creature is, and if there’s more of them. When Chaya and Chilli come back home, they’d love this
>Open a telepathic link but let it speak first, and react accordingly

“Oh no, you’re not getting away big guy.” you say, reaching down with your left hand and out with your telekinesis. Grasping with your mind for the beast below the waves, you quickly realize it’s big. Much bigger than you’d anticipated. But that’s never stopped you before! “Woah! Really big guy! But you’re not getting away from me!”

Reaching down with both hands you put your full mental ‘back’ into it, all your effort going towards lifting your breakfast out of the sea. Yet even as you do it resists, and more than just physically. Your telekinetic grip feels almost like it’s slipping, as if it were somehow too smooth for you to grip. But you don’t let that stop you, gritting your teeth and redoubling your efforts. Slowly but steadily the beast’s head begins emerging from the sea, a flat, scaly, reptilian looking wide head with an elongated muzzle. And the moment you pull it’s head enough that it’s eye towards you breaks the waves, it opens its mouth and screams.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=rHTinEcgLn0
>inb4 “muh ears”

The scream isn’t something audible, instead it feels like a spike was driven right into your skull up through each of your ears.Which of course makes you almost drop the beast, hands going to your ears reflexively. But you catch yourself, and the beast, leaving your ears ringing at a teeth-grindingly painful level.

“GAH, DAMMIT!!” you snarl, or at least that’s what you think you snarl. Because when you shouted, the words you spoke weren’t audible to you. But that doesn’t matter to you now, fury rising. And as you’re hovering above the sea in agonizing pain, you decide to switch tactics. You take that agony and shove it into your telekinesis, using the pain and anger to fuel your efforts. At the same time you quit trying to lift the entire beast, instead focusing all of your mental “muscle” around the beast’s neck. And with a snarl clench your right fist, feeling something in the beast’s neck snap. As you do the awful sensation vanishes, leaving you panting and covered in sweat from the pain you were just in. “Alright you bastard, you’d better be worth this.”

With little effort you toss the now-corpse into the sky, fists together as you create a Super Ki Blade large enough to do the job. And as the body falls you swing, decapitating the monstrous creature with a single blow. But before your meal can sink back below the waves you catch it by the tail, throwing it over your back as you head towards shore. While heading back you wonder what Kayle caught, but as you approach see she in fact beat you back, waving to you from beside her catch.

“Hey! You there!” you think to the crab man while pointing at it. “Yeah, you.”
“How is this possible?” it replies telepathically, while it’s chitinous mouth makes several different clicks. “You do not speak our tongue!”
“Telepathy. I’m talking directly to your mind.” you say, tapping the side of your head. “Our thoughts may be in different language, but they mean the same things. Anyways, we’re not gonna be able to eat this whole thing ourselves. If you want it, to take back to your people when we’re done, you’re more than welcome to help yourselves.”

“You....Felled a mighty mindslayer, by yourself, yet offer its flesh to us?” it asks you, the confusion in it’s mind evident. “Why?”
“Simple. I can’t eat it all.” you say, gesturing to the size of the beast. And despite how voraciously Kayle had been eating at first, she’s clearly slowing down. “Better to let someone eat it than it go to waste, right?”
“A most generous lord you are.” it says, baring it’s underside. Normally a being lifts itself up to appear larger and more threatening, but knowing how tough their shells are, revealing their underside is more a sign of respect than nodding down and hunkering underneath their armor would be. You return the gesture, best you can with your different biology and the crab man scuttles off, quickly disappearing beneath the waves to no doubt tell it’s people. You turn back to your meal, once more diving in. And after several more minutes and eating your fill, sigh out contentedly. You see Kayle laying on her back by the water’s edge, waves washing over her then pulling back.

“I’m soo-oooooo full!” she says, pausing for a wave to wash over her. “That was delicious.”
“It was. Remember, you have to throw it back when you’re done.”
“Oh, right!” she says, rolling to her feet and running over to her catch. It lay mostly uneaten, having chowed down on your catch instead of her own. But she dutifully drags the monster several times her size by the tail into the water, you doing the same with your catch then pushing hers off into the deeper water. “All done!”
“Kayle!” little Maz shouts, you turning and seeing Meloka holding Okira and Karn Jr, and Maz both leaving the ship. Now that your family is together, at least those not already off doing their own thing, you need to decide what to do.

While Kayle describes what you caught, you telepathically link to Melokaand let her know your plan. Which she approves of, since it won’t affect the kids’ already-established morning trainings with Raven and the late Guardian’s spectre. So as Meloka tells them you all are headed to the island and lift into the air, you’re telepathically reaching out to as many of your students as you can and giving them all a simple message.

“Training resumes this afternoon, on my ki signature once I power up and down three times. Tell anyone who’s seriously interested to come along, if they’re ready to work.”

You reach out to as many students as you can, at least a dozen not getting your telepathic message. So you task telling them to the other Super Saiyans, knowing that they’ll get it done. And when you’re finally done sending out that message repeatedly, you all have arrived at the island. But to your surprise, you aren’t the only ones. Broly, Tatsu and Tomi, as well as Caulifla and Ticho are all already here.Dropping down you see the gold and crystal polyhedron of the late Guardian’s holocron on the rock beside Raven, the ancient being’s spectre appearing.

“Excellent timing, you have.” he says, as you land beside your wife and children. “Time it is, to begin the lesson. Form up into pairs, and take your starting stances.”
“Like this!” Caulifla says, immediately showing Ticho how it’s done. As the children pair up, and Meloka sits beside Raven, you don’t stay with the group. Instead you move to Broly’s side, your son having gone and sat over by himself away from the others. Legs crossed and eyes shut, you see he’s once more meditating in his Berserker form.

“Mind if I join you?” you ask, your son’s calm aura flaring out a bit as he shrugs his shoulders. Taking that as a yes you sit down beside him, still in your base form, and close your eyes. Taking several deep, slow breaths you relax yourself, letting the morning’s stresses fade away. Mind clear you begin focusing on your body, diving deep and reaching out into that well of power known as Super Saiyan. Touching that energy you let it slowly flow into you, not in a flashy, instant or violent transformation, but a slow feed of that power into your body. You feel the slow changes as your body transforms, growing larger and stronger but keeping your calmed state of mind. It’s a different experience, transforming this slowly allows you to keep your mind completely calm without fighting against the form’s innate rage by conquering it, piece by little piece. As you feel your body’s fully transformed you open your eyes, only to see Broly staring at you, eyes wide. His expression immediately worried you, your concentration fading fast. “Everything okay?”
cont
>>
>>4694324
“You, you were doing it.” he says, sounding completely astonished. “You had it.”
“Did I?” you ask, not feeling anything particularly different between how you are now and your usual control over this power. Well, except perhaps much calmer, as you’re not mid-battle or anything like it. Looking down at your hand your aura does look much more subdued than normal, not violently radiating off you in waves. “Huh. How about that?”
“How did you do it?” Broly asks, still sounding stunned. So you have him sit beside you, powering down out of Berserker and relaxing your body. You then walk him through it, about slowly feeding that power into oneself while maintaining that state of peace. Which he finds far quicker than you, in your estimation, and after maybe a dozen minutes he’s back at full power, yet his energy is once more completely calm. “I never thought to try it this way.”

“Your old man’s good for something other than smashing heads in, you know.” you say with a chuckle as Broly powers back down with a relaxed sigh and starts the process over again. Watching him succeed makes you feel better as a dad, same as when glancing over to watch your children all practicing Su Ma under their late Teacher’s observant gaze. And you know that when they all grow up, your kids could be a more fearsome force than your entire generation. And that’s something you’re proud of.

Yes psychic powers like that are dangerous enough that the Mindslayer we just ate cloud be capable of hunting down a Saiyan. If it was underwater the mind stun would hit them hard, leaving them exposed for a chomp.
Good thing there are no Aboleths on New Salda, one of the worst things to meet underwater.

someone mentioned the a word so now i have to go into a rant about it
So you know how 5e is all about sucking off the forgotten realms AKA a small section of abeir-toril? well, the toril side of things has weak babyshit aboleths. On the abeir side, there's an aboleth empire full of impossibly ancient aboleths that have enslaved even KRAKENS. The abolethic sovereignity has a gigantic flying obelisk-turned-city called Xxiphu they like to use to loom over everyone else, and pretty much every inch of Xxiphu is carved with everchanging glyphs of ridiculous complexity that can and will mindfuck you if you try to understand it. It's also constantly surrounded by storms, can sprout giant fuckoff tentacles to directly defend itself from invasion or sieging, and spawns creatures from beyond reality within several miles of its location.
Toril's aboleths shit themselves in fear when they hear about abeir's far superior aboleths who, you know, are ACTUALLY successful rather than one-time minibosses in dungeons.

As you watch your children training together you begin feeling that familiar itch yourself, the itch to be out there bettering yourself as well. But with so many different and varied options before you, and your own students to push beyond their limits this afternoon, you can’t go all out trying something right now. Yet there’s still so much you can do, moves or abilities to learn, techniques to improve, and improvements to be made. Or you can take this time to reach out, and see how some others are handling themselves.

But what will you decide to do(Not a permanent training option here, just a “for today” choice)?

But while training is important, there’s something else you want to check up on. Namely King Vegeta, and his apparently long-lost brother Tarble. Opening your ki sense you find Vegeta’s energy easily, right now with only a few other powers including Nappa. So you decide to pay the brothers a visit.

“Hey Meloka, I’m gonna go check in on Vegeta and his little brother.” you think to her, raising your right hand to your forehead in preparation to Instant Transmission. “Be back in a bit.”

As you teleport to Vegeta’s side, your entire body suddenly weighs double! You find that you’d teleported into a gravity chamber, already on. So instead of landing gracefully and quietly behind the king you drop down harder than expected, landing on a knee and hand with a loud thump.

“Tch! Didn’t know you were in here.” you say, rising back to your feet with a little effort. That’s when you see Tarble laying flat on the ground, trying to push himself upright. But despite his struggle, veins bulging on his forehead, it doesn’t seem like he’s going anywhere. “Training?”
“That was the plan anyways.” Vegeta says, gesturing to Nappa to turn the chamber off. Which he does, you barely feeling a difference now that you’re standing. But Tarble let’s out a gasp of relief, body sagging as he tries to catch his breath. “But it seems my brother here hasn’t gotten any stronger since he was sent away.”
“Sent away?” you ask, confused. “What do you mean?”
“Our late father had rather...strict guidelines, for what was acceptable for a Saiyan.” Vegeta says, sounding a bit disgusted. “Only those born with high powerlevels were worth anything in his eyes. So when Tarble was born with a “low class” powerlevel he was sent away, to hide father’s shame.”

“But now that he’s gone, Vegeta here’s really changed how our society looks.” Nappa says proudly, almost like you talking about one of your kids. “Of course, that only really applies to those who’re a part of society, and not living as a hermit.”
“Hey, I’m not a hermit.” you snap back, but think on it a moment. You don’t really interact with the rest of society at large, instead focused on your own and your kids’ training. Had society really changed under Vegeta? You realize that honestly, you wouldn’t know in the slightest. “Am I?”
“Let’s see here Karn: you live out on your own private island, spend your days focused on your training, and only seem to come out when the next weekly catastrophe hits or your friends need something.” Vegeta says, tone lighthearted. “I think you qualify.”
“That does fit the definition.” Tarble says, the young man pushing himself back to his feet. “But is it true?”
“Is what true?” you ask him, having no idea what he means.
“Aren’t you the legendary Super Saiyan?”

“Vegeta told me about you, and what you can do.” he continues, for the first time Vegeta looking a little uncomfortable. “He said at one point you were even stronger than Freeza!”
“I was, but that was before he started to seriously work on his training.” you say, Vegeta taking this moment to interject.
“Which is something I was hoping to talk with you about.” Vegeta says, you turning to him at the sudden seriousness in his tone. “My brother needs help. When the people find out he’s my brother, they could try and hurt me by hurting him. But I just don’t have the time to devote to properly training my brother. Would you help me, and train my brother as you trained me?”

“Wait, Karn trained you?” Tarble asks, looking between the two of you. “No wonder you got so strong! Please, if I’m not a bother train me too!”

Well? What do you say?
>Tell him that you’re hosting a training session this afternoon for your students, and if he wants to train under you to join in
>Tell Vegeta and Tarble that you’ll train him, if he’s willing to give improving himself one hundred percent and not quit
>Say that if he wants to train under you, he has a month to double his powerlevel to prove his dedication to improvement. Shouldn’t be that hard, with a powerlevel in the low four-digits

“Tell you what. I don’t have time for any one on one training right now, but I am teaching my students this afternoon.” you tell him after a moment’s thought. “So if you really want to improve yourself, you are welcome to join.”
“Really? I look forwa-“ he starts, but you interrupt his excitement.
“BUT! This will not be easy.” you say, taking on your instructor tone and gathering that air of authority instead of your usual, relaxed air. “I will break you. You will beg for mercy, and I won’t give any. But if you’re determined, and never give up, I’ll make a warrior out of you. No matter how much of you blood, sweat, and tears it makes. You will do as I say, and when I say it. Understood?”
“S-Sir!” he shouts timidly, and to your surprise gives you an almost-proper Saiyan salute. “I will do my best!”

“Training will start this afternoon, when I flare my aura up three times in quick succession.” you say, returning the salute. “Meet us there.”
“I will!” Tarble says, still excited as you turn to Vegeta and nod, then bring your hand to your forehead. With a moment’s effort teleport outside the chamber, beside the Royal Guard Captain Galick.
“Karn.” he says, acknowledging you. “Never thought I’d see old Vegeta’s second kid again. I take it this means you’ll be making a man out of him?”
“Something like that.” you reply, walking away to leave the king’s private training chamber and palace behind. Once outside you take to the air, and begin scouting for the perfect location to begin your lessons back home. You want a setup similar to the one you’d had on the Lucrehulk, but with New Salda’s more open landscape no doubt everything will be a bit further apart. So you begin flying around, searching for a cluster of gravity chambers that will suit your needs on the city’s outskirts.

After flying around a bit find just the spot, north of the city. However as you begin descending and getting closer see it’s already in use, or at least there are people here. A ring of maybe a dozen Saiyans, late teens and early twenties have surrounded a pair of kids no older than Chaya. You don’t announce your presence, content to watch for now and see how this plays out.

“What, you think you can roll with us hotshot?” the strongest says, a man more broad-shouldered than even Bardock and with almost no scarring says. “Get lost kid, before I send you flying.”
“I don’t think you get it, so let me make this real clear for you.” the boy who you recognize as Bardock’s second, Kakarot says, Meloka’s friend’s daughter Tunnip almost cowering behind him as he confronts this group’s strongest. “You hurt her. I’m giving you one last chance to apologize.”
“Or what? You gonna go cryin’ to your daddy?” the meathead replies, his goons chuckling. But Kakarot only smirks in response, clenching his fists. This should be good. “Ooooh, little man’s mad! We better back off, he might throw a tantrum!”

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Kakarot replies confidently, as his hair begins waving in a nonexistent breeze. You watch the shock and fear of some of the thugs’ faces as Kakarot begins radiating with golden energy, aura blazing bright as he shouts. “HAAAAAAA!!”

And to most of their surprise he transforms, power surging as he takes his Super Saiyan form. Half of the goons immediately back off, knowing they’re no match for a Super Saiyan. But the lead muscle head simply laughs, catching young Kakarot by surprise.

“Super Saiyan? You think that is enough to scare me?” he says, the big man clenching his fists and gritting his teeth. “That doesn’t make you so special! HRRRRRRYAAAAAAA!!”

And to your shock this guy transforms too, golden aura blazing as he also takes the golden form. Kakarot is clearly surprised by this development, but the sudden smile you see shows that it’s not unwelcome.

“Yeah? What do you think of this, you little runt!?” the big man says, his power still edging out Kakarot’s but not by an unwinnable margin. “Not so cocky now, huh?”
“Well now, this is unexpected.” Kakarot says, taking a fighting stance similar to his father’s; left arm down defensively, right held back ready to strike. “Looks like kicking your ass won’t be a complete waste of my time after all!”

And you watch it all silently from above, curious as to just how strong Bardock’s second son has become. This will be good.

And that’s it for this weekend, everyone enjoy this episode? Liking the slower pace, and getting to actually experience the day-to-day? Ready to watch Kakarot fight, as well as this mystery Super Saiyan? All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!

>“You hurt her. I’m giving you one last chance to apologize.”
There he is, being more helpful and genuine than his canon self has in decades.
>Liking the slower pace, and getting to actually experience the day-to-day?
I don't hate it, but I think it's time to get back into the swing of things pretty soon.
>Ready to watch Kakarot fight, as well as this mystery Super Saiyan?
We should really get a registry or something of all the Super Saiyans.
>>
>>4694990
God damnit, Goku, I mean Kakarot...at least he's still him? At least I hope he doesn't act as dumb.
>>4694993
Hell yeah, we've had an entire planet and culture grow while we've been living on the Karn Clan Shuttle Park(tm), and now we get to see it. And I guess we rope in Kakarot for training too.
And Tunnip is a cute, hopefully they get along well together.
>>
>>4694993
Fucking interesting to see what Kakarot's personality is like.
Seems like he's truer to his saiyan roots, but he also has some of the goodness his main timeline self has still.
>>
>>4694998
He is more Saiyan, yet also much of his og Dragonball personality is still there. He’s the same kid.
>I don't hate it, but I think it's time to get back into the swing of things pretty soon.
That’s where we’re heading. After this fight, it’ll be time to decide a training direction for the students.
>We should really get a registry or something of all the Super Saiyans.
One doesn’t exist. At least not any sort of even halfway complete one.
>>4695000
He is the same kid he was in OG Dragonball, albeit with more vicious Saiyan tendencies. Then again, more vicious? Do you remember what he did to the RR Army in canon? How many of them survived?
You and to a lesser extent your family have been pretty isolated.
>And Tunnip is a cute
Wait huh?

Could it be that all of those things can happen? It just depends on an unknown factor, perhaps only Kais knows why.
> Or perhaps something else happens to them?
Can they come back to life? But not as something they were before becoming hollow, but like a hollow being just becoming alive somehow.

So I have been thinking, so far we have been dodging Goro and what he want of us, but at the second thought I realized he is probably not the type to waste our time with trivial things. If he wants to talk with us it's got to be important. I think I want to know what it is.
>Not entirely sure what it could be, but it may be somehow related to this tournament (pic).
>Or maybe he is here to hire us on behalf of his emperor, but that seems a bit unlikely. You know when we were hired for Aku and others it was done officially through PTO. Nobody said a word about it, so I think it may be different.
>He is here privately on behalf of his Shokan race, interested in getting our help in freeing his people from his emperor.
Though we did not heard anything about Shao Kahn in Universe 7 haven't we? Or maybe I missed it. So this leads to an implication, he did not come here from somewhere in Universe 7 . He is from somewhere else, another Universe or realm/ dimension or something.
I'm not saying I guessed this correctly, but whatever it is I want to know more about what brings him here.
Maybe he will hear about the training session everyone is probably talking about and will try to meet us there. If I I'm going to be there at the time of the running quest I'm going to vote to talk to him.

Everything about Abeir is far more interesting than Toril, and yet it has 0 adventures set in it.
As a quick rundown on it:
>Created as a resolution to the dawn war, a massive fight between primordials and gods. They split a world in two and gave one to the gods, one to the primordials
>Primordials ruled Abeir for a while but slowly got BTFO by dragons
>Primordial corpses litter the world, one of which causes the sky to take on a silvery mercury-like appearance
>Abeir does not have a 'weave' to cast magic with nor a god of magic to maintain such a weave, so 99% of magic (which is naturally rare there) is through sorcery/innate magic or through magic items crafted from primordial corpses
>There's practically no concept of gods over there, since none have ever existed in Abeir
>You can sometimes just accidentally walk from Abeir to Toril or vise-versa because they're superimposed onto one another and tunnels can randomly form between them from time to time
>>
>>4695172
Oh wow, missed this at first but good to hear, wishing fortune on them.

>Maybe he will hear about the training session everyone is probably talking about and will try to meet us there

>>4696383
>and yet it has 0 adventures set in it
Hrmm I wonder why? Oh yeah, that’s right:
>Primordials ruled Abeir for a while but slowly got BTFO by dragons
>Primordial corpses litter the world, one of which causes the sky to take on a silvery mercury-like appearance
>Abeir does not have a 'weave' to cast magic with nor a god of magic to maintain such a weave, so 99% of magic (which is naturally rare there) is through sorcery/innate magic or through magic items crafted from primordial corpses
>There's practically no concept of gods over there, since none have ever existed in Abeir
So you have a world with many dragons closer to or stronger than gods, dead pre-god beings’ corpses strewn about, and in general a much more dangerous realm
>>4696474
It’s always the “child free” couples, isn’t it?
>>4696481
The images in my head when writing it. However, this goon’s not quite Nappa tier.
>>
>>4696544
Too be fair, our Nappa isn't a goon, he's a full fledged adviser.
>>
>>4696544
to be fair a lot of those primordials were hella fucked up from fighting the gods
they weren't anywhere near their full power, so it's not as much of an achievement to kill them, especially when dragons are elementally resistant depending on their color and most of the primordials can only really deal elemental damage
and there's more dragons than there are primordials, so action economy is also in effect there.
>>
>>4696547
I meant canon Nappa, and yes.
>>4696560
>action economy
Which was why my DM wasn’t expecting Heavy Armor Master to completely stomp on his goblin mob he threw at us. Instead of 2-5(1d4+1) damage on each of their swings(if they even hit) I was only taking 1-2 damage per hit.
>>
>>4696560
I can imagine one of the Primordials potentially being ressurected by a cult of anti-dragon extremists.
That sounds like a great motivator for a campaign.
>>
>>4696583
Just like Karn, Beef Tanks are the way.

>>4696583
It's weird the kinda ways you can break encounters with good builds.
I made a battle master fighter that essentially became a wall that you couldn't hit.
Said wall also stabbed you for 6-10 damage every time you whiffed.
This is was only at level 3, so I expect to tear through most encounters in the early game.
>>
>>4696585
I for one welcome our ancient primordial overlords if it means those fucking dragons get stuffed.
Sure, the primordials want to consume the world in floods or flames or storms or whatever, but death is a preferable alternative to the scalie bait.

I don't know if you've ever tried it, but I recently went Rune Knight Fighter as a grung with spears and lances. It's shockingly good, at least at third level and not in a dungeon crawl. You have a lot of shit you can bust out all at once because of how runes trigger, the poison is always helpful, and going Large instantly negates any issues with size. And the grung's massive jumps are insane, if your DM is reasonable you don't even need to make checks to jump up to the second story of a building. If you wanted to be cheeky you could use the lance while you're jumping 10 feet over the head of someone.

No clue if Mindflayers are also there.
The aboleths and other far-realm creatures are supposedly the "original inhabitants" from way back when Abeir-Toril was all one world, before the dawn war, though. I think that's where the aboleth population on Abeir comes from - they were always there.

Given that, he could topple anyone currently active in his universe except for Freeza. And most of the other universes as well. Only beings on the level of Toppo, Hit, etc would be able to take him down.

I hope you remember he has an interdimensional Ghost Station in his reserves. Sure, technically only one dimension, but if he thinks of the merchandizing rights, he could look at Karn and his family as future unoffical soldiers of his marketing team, holding the line from Tyrant Mickey's increasingly powerful army of Lawyers, whose mangled bodies would be captured in high definition on his pirated Multiversal Vox Station(tm), causing huge rifts in power as consumers flock too the new competition of competitive bloodsports, /fit/girls, idols, and actually marketable family values of the Daddest Dad too exist. But we can save the Extra In-Depth Lawsuit Battles after the TOP. Because Mickey might not try fucking with the Omni-King.

Speaking of, when is the next Omake of them and the disturbing revelations Kazuma somehow knows about, in between berating Aqua for being Aqua and giving him reality's top 10 qualifier for worst handicap at life list?
>>
>>4697741
Disney is just the Vox of reality tho. It's an immovable object and an unstoppable force.

Even if one side did come out as an objective victor the cost would take so long to recoup it would be crippling enough for minor media to rise up enough to have to quash later and waste even more resources.

As both savvy business enterprises they would merely tip their hats at each other and politely slide C&D's for their respective universes at each other.

It wasn’t one of the cheat powers offered, although any of them would have been broken in their own right. I mean just look at Gram. That cursed sword can ONE SHOT an ancient dragon. And considering it’s a fantasy setting, compare it to dnd ancient dragon stats. Cheat items/powers are THAT broken.

>the Dragon Balls are a thing

If he was smart he'd try and find Namek or Earth ASAP.
>>
>>4698870
There are items that do so much better. Cursed Sword Gram isn’t nearly the most OP of those, in fact it seems to be the most direct, and weakest, Remember the Head Researcher’s Imagination Creation power? He CREATED the Crimson Demons, Destroyer, the femdom android, etc. Cheat powers aren’t a joke.
>>4698901
>If he was smart he'd try and find Namek or Earth ASAP
But you’re forgetting the main problem: this world isn’t either of them. They don’t even have widespread electricity yet, much less space travel. So him actually getting off world is dependent on, well spoilers. But I can say that the lad has a plan. A very sneaky, conniving plan that’s just his style, and if it works will land him even more bank than his deal with Vanir. But he needs more levels first, and the right skills to make it work.

I thought for sure I went over him in the Destroyer epilogue a ways back, when Chilli’d defeated the machine and took its core to make Megumin’s current staff. Long story short, another guy Aqua’d reincarnated had the power to create anything he could imagine. Yet the guy failed to stop the Demon King, giving up the quest and dying of old age on the Destroyer.
As for Chilli no. He’s a baseline human, and 20x Earth’s gravity would crush him like an empty can under a press. He’d already spoken with Yunyun about that possibility, as she can also teleport there.

I mean based on what a NEET would know, I'd assume he'd ask Chilli for transportation to somewhere besides the Saiyan's homeworld (which he'd likely assume was still Planet Vegeta) for that very reason.
>He’d already spoken with Yunyun about that possibility, as she can also teleport there.
And is that the only place she can teleport to? Seems kinda odd.
Besides that, I can't imagine how many questions are in his head right now.
He's probably gonna be shocked when he realizes we're far past the point Planet Vegeta was destroyed canonically.

From what he learned of the Saiyans from Yunyun, he knows the show lore is noticeably off. However he hasn’t yet learned of Freeza’s current position on things. Something that he’s planning to change.
The way Konosuba teleport spell works is you set markers at places you can teleport to, limited by spellcasting ability. Most of her markers are for different places on her homeworld, and one on New Salda.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 152 Epilogue-

AGE 749, CRIMSON DEMON VILLAGE

“Hey, Kazuma Kazuma!” the blue-haired, self-proclaimed goddess says, tugging on your sleeve.
“I’m Kazuma.” you reply deadpan, not wanting to deal with her childish antics today. You are Satou Kazuma, formerly a lonely Japanese neet. But after your death you were reincarnated, brought to this world to stop a being known as the Demon King. But every day since coming here, you’ve regretted the “blessing” you chose in a moment of frustration: the useless goddess. Of all the broken, OP, and insanely powerful abilities and items you could have brought along on this journey, instead you got the privilege of dealing with this bratty, no good, sniveling, selfish, useless lush of a goddess. You wish you could go back, and get a do over.

“Hey, isn’t that lady walking around suspicious?” she asks, pointing as un-subtly as humanly possible at a cloaked figure walking around. You look up, pulling her arm down and berating her as to not appear rude while also subtly checking out who she mentioned. The form is clearly female, the robe doing little to hide how well-endowed the figure is underneath. Yet you don’t sense anything particularly suspicious or diabolical about her. So you hit Aqua upside the head, the useless goddess immediately forgetting the poor hapless victim of her rudeness and instead turning her petulant outburst on you. “H-Hey! What’s the big idea? I’m a goddess you know!”

However as Aqua shouts this the figure lurches to a stop, as if caught off guard, and turns towards you both. Her eyes are shadowed by the robe’s hood, but that doesn’t mean you can’t feel the sudden intensity of her stare. Even Aqua feels it, the three of you locked in the sudden, intense stalemate. You have no idea what this person’s here for, but instinctively know that one wrong word and everything could go to shit really fast. You need to come up with something clever, and quick!

“Yo! Kazuma!” a familiar voice calls, you all turning to see your longtime friend and the adventurer who’d taught you your first skill walking over. It’s Chris! As she walks over, waving over her head as if to draw attention, you feel even more tension building. This time, however, it’s between Chris and this stranger, as if the stranger’s ready to not only attack, but defend herself at a moment’s notice. Chris for her part seems nonchalant, but you can almost feel the tension in her body as she gets closer. One wrong move from the cloaked woman, and you don’t doubt Chris would attack her too! “There you are! I’ve been looking all over for you!”
>>
>>4700585
“Chris? What’re you doing here?” you ask, surprised to see her in the Crimson Demon village of all places. As she comes to stand by you and Aqua, none of you fully turning away from the stranger, she suddenly seems to decide against causing a scene and walking away. “Weren’t you headed off towards the capitol?”
“I had to come out and wish a friend a happy marriage, didn’t I?” she replies, but something tells you she’s still uneasy as that stranger continues walking away without looking back. And, almost as if reading your mind, “Besides, interesting things tend to happen wherever you go.”

“Everything okay?” Yunyun asks, the single bright spot of your life since coming to this forsaken world approaching your all. She’s a beautiful woman around the bride Megumin’s age, but you couldn’t tell from looking at them. Yunyun is a very well-developed, polite, and a far more talented spellcaster. Whereas her rival Megumin is built like she’s 12, extremely chuuni, and only knows one spell and it’s variant forms. “Oh! Hello Chris, I wasn’t expecting to see you. Are you here for the wedding too?”
“Of course!” your thief sometimes-partner says, giving a thumbs up and cheerful wink. “Not often we get to see a Crimson Demon wedding, and to an alien no less.”

At this you can’t help but shoot a sideways glance at the useless goddess. Before your death you were a neet, living peacefully in Japan, and are very aware of what a Saiyan is. Which makes you resent Aqua more, not being born again with those amazing superhuman powers you’d wanted since you were young and being bullied in school. Although, granted, you would never work out as long or as hard as Goku or Vegeta do to just fire an energy beam out of your hands. Besides, as you’ve been leveling up you have been learning some of the basic and intermediate magic, with Yunyun’s help. Being an Adventurer class does have it’s advantages, most prominent being you can learn virtually any skills or spells and not have class restrictions for them.

“I’d expect nothing less of my rival.” Yunyun says akwardly to this, you just shaking your head a bit. You still have no idea why she considers the two of them rivals, as to you she’s clearly better in every way. But you let it go, as this childhood rivalry has gone on for over a decade now and shows no signs of stopping. “Of course she’s already found a man.”
“I’m a man.” you say, trying to plant THAT seen in her mind, when Aqua tries(and fails) to stifle her laughter. You whirl around furiously, ready to lay into the useless goddess, when from behind her you see a mushroom cloud. Knowing what’s about to happen you immediately clamp your hands over your ears, and shamelessly duck behind Aqua.

“Kazuma, what are you-?”

KABOOOOOM
>>
>>4700589
The shockwave from no-doubt one of Megumin’s overpowered as all hell Explosion spells hits you all, Aqua’s body shielding you and you hands saving your eardrums from the blast. Which immediately knocks her over, the useless goddess tripping over your hunched form and falling behind you. Turning around you see everyone else had shielded their own ears too, save for the cloaked stranger you can still just barely make out in the crowd. Ever the curious one, you stand and activate your Farsight skill to figure out what she’s up to. Farsight allows you to basically “zoom in” on her hooded face as she draws a crystal to her head like a phone. Seeing this you also activate your Lip Reading skill, determined to know what she’s saying.

“Major, report.” you see her mouth to the crystal, as the rest of the Crimson Demons begin dispersing. “Major, what’s happening? I saw that blast, what is the status of our forces?”
“Major?” you mutter to yourself, but before you can ponder it your observation is interrupted, concentration broken as the useless goddess grabs and starts shaking you.
“What the hell, Kazuma? Why didn’t you warn me that was about to happen?!” she shouts furiously, but when you look past her towards where you saw the hooded figure, she’s already gone. “Hey! Look at me when I’m yelling at you!”

You let her ramble on, pounding her fists ineffectively against your chest while you ponder what to do next. If that blast was Megumin’s handiwork, as no doubt it was, then whoever that person was trying to reach was probably the victim. And there’s only one possible army that could be camped between the Crimson Demon village and what lay that way. Another of the Demon King’s Generals could be here in the village right now! But what can you do about it? Not knowing what she can do, or even what she actually looks like, your options are really limited. For now you’re just gonna have to keep your eyes open, and wait to see what happens next. Although, when you do see Chilli again, you should probably tell him. Despite still being an underaged kid, barely into puberty if at all by the looks of him, the kid’s highly dangerous. Even if you didn’t know he was a planet-busting Super Saiyan, and not just an average kid, his magical abilities are top-notch too. Despite the duel the other night being cut short, and having to be rescheduled to this afternoon thanks to the Demon King’s last army to show up, you don’t doubt that Chilli would have eventually overcome Megumin’s old man due to his wide range of magical options. Some kids just have all the luck.
>>
>>4700591
“Would you get off me already, you useless drunkard goddess?!” you finally shout, freezing Aqua in her tracks. But only for a few seconds, as she now begins sobbing and clinging to you like a whiny child.
“Kaaazuuuumaaaa!! How can you always be so mean to me?!” she wails.
“I wish you’d berate me like that too sometimes.” your party’s masochistic Crusader says longingly, you not even looking back at the tall, fit, blonde bombshell behind you. Honestly if Darkness weren’t so mentally screwed up she’d be the most attractive member by far, but her crazy fetish-fueled personality is an ever better repellent than giant frog mucus. But as you’re stuck in the middle of your crazy adventuring party, Yunyun trying ineffectively coax Aqua off you while Chris laughs at the whole situation, you see them. Chilli and Megumin, the newlyweds-to-be flying towards the village.

He’s flying from where the blast was moments ago, casually looking like a jacked, preteen Superman as Megumin, also known as the Crazy Explosion Girl, rides on his back like a surfboard. Again you feel a pang of jealousy, why does he get all the cool powers without even being isekai’d, while you’re stuck with this useless goddess! If only you’d known of her “subordinate” Eris, you would have most definitely chosen such a lovely, understanding goddess over this loudmouth, useless drunk any day. He sees your group when they’re close to the village and begins descending, when Megumin shouts something you can’t hear. And suddenly he disappears right out from under her! Megumin begins dropping straight down towards you all, Yunyun shouting in worry.

“M-Megumin! I’ll ca-huh?” she says, as you put your finger to her full lips and say.
“Shhhh. Watch this.”
“My name is Megumin!” the crazy explosion girl shouts, holding her custom staff with her right while keeping the hat firmly on her head with her left hand. “Greatest archmage of the Crimson Demons and wielder of Explosion magic!”
“My name is Chilli.” he says, right in front of you all. Everyone leaps back in surprise, Aqua falling over again. He seems to have anticipated this reaction, and with his staff’s ephemeral scythe blade touches the ground. From that point of contact a crystal structure erupts from the ground, forming what looks like a spiraling slide with an odd, bulbous protrusion at the top. “Greatest archmage of the entire Saiyan race, and wielder of death magic.”
“And together!” Megumin shouts, hitting the slide and spiraling down right to Chilli, who catches her in a spin to drop that momentum before both pose in a very, very chuuni fashion.
“We are unstoppable.” Chilli finishes, as Megumin lifts her staff. Your eyes go wide, knowing full well the only spell she knows. But before you can run:

”EXPLOSION!”
>>
>>4700594
But instead of a terrible, widespread Explosion that levels the village, her spell is a rather small, controlled one. The bulbous end of Chilli’s twisted slide explodes, your jaw dropping as it does. The crystalline structure bursts, but doesn’t shatter. Instead as it cracks, the bulb seemingly blooms out into a flower, while most of the energy from her blast is captured by the crystal turning the “flower” a fiery red-yellow. Several cracks run down the slide, splitting off into the facsimile of leaves.

Your jaw drops at this display of magical control from both of them, unaware their magic could make something this elegant. Everyone is silent for several seconds, until you raise your hands and clap. Once. Twice. Three times, starting a slow clap that is soon picked up by your group, and a few passerby who witnessed this display quickly join in too. Both the bride and groom to-be take a bow, and as they do the giant flower shatters behind them. You feel a single manly tear roll down your cheek, mourning the death of that magical flower’s beauty as crystal shards rain down behind them until they rise back up.

“I think they liked it.” Megumin says smugly, then turns to Yunyun. “It’s going to be our couple magic display for the ceremony, what do you think?”
“It was absolutely lovely.” she says, Yunyun left in awe. “I’d expect nothing less than spectacular from you!”
“Couple magic?” you ask, wanting to make sure you understand correctly. “What’s that?”
“A Crimson Demon tradition, where the bride and groom combine their magic to make something unique, and only they can do.” Yunyun clarifies for you. “The rest of the village are witnesses to the wedding, and the elders can supposedly judge a couple’s compatibility based on their couple magic. Which is why it is performed just before the chief asks for any with objections to the union to step forward, then if there are no objections marries them.”

“Huh, okay.” you say, then to Chilli specifically. “Hey, I need to ask you something important. In private.”
“Sure.” he says, then immediately follows with. “What is it?”
“I mean away from everyone else, just the two of us.” you reply, Chilli smiling at you and replying.
“I don’t think this conversation can get any more private.” he says, mouth not moving. And that’s when you see everyone looking confused back and forth between you both. When the realization suddenly hits, his grin widens, looking smug. “Telepathy. The second best way to keep secrets.”
“Your list of bullshit hax just keeps growing.” you think-mutter, the young Saiyan chuckling at this. “Anyways. So despite there being Super Saiyans around, the Saiyan race hasn’t been exterminated yet, right? So what happened to Frieza? One of the Super Saiyans give him the boot?”
>>

“Freeza’s my dad’s friend.” he answers, your jaw dropping in shock. Frieza? Friends with a Saiyan? A Legendary Super Saiyan, no less?! The hell kinda upside down, bullshit clown world did that useless goddess have you reincarnate in? Frieza is legendary for his dislike of the “filthy monkeys”, yet is somehow friends with this kid’s dad? But despite this being so strange it actually works out, even better than you’d anticipated. Easy street, here comes Kazuma. “Were you wanting to meet him? I already asked if he was coming, and right now he’s thinking he can make it.”
“Frieza. Is coming here.” you reply, and suddenly your grand plan’s timeline lurches forward even further. You’re going to get your chance to meet Frieza, and in just under a week’s time? This is too good to be true. “Really?”

“Well I hope so. He said he would come.” Chilli replies, and suddenly you feel something. A whole mix of confused emotions bleed through the psychic link for a moment, before Chilli regains control of himself and continues. “So did my dad. He and Mom, along with my siblings are all going to be here.”

As he thinks this to you, suddenly a completely unfamiliar emblem begins glowing on the back of Chilli’s hand. It looks almost like an 8; but sideways like an infinite symbol, and the very ends chopped off into points. Like it’s signifying that it is almost infinite, but just a little short of the mark. But as it appears you suddenly feel a new presence in the mental link, one who’s most certainly a woman.

“Hey, Chilli. This is Towa.” a most-definitely womanly presence thinks to him, and by extension you. “We’re able to-wait, and who’re you?”
“Don’t worry about him.” Chilli replies, ending the link with you and focusing on this other woman’s thoughts. For a second you feel so much jealousy and spite at the women around this kid you’re seriously tempted to say he’s mentally communicating with another woman aloud right beside his wife-to-be, but then decide firmly against it. Best to not antagonize the child who could obliterate you with a sneeze, after all. Especially now, that an easy life is so close you can almost taste it. Because you not only know how to get what you know Frieza wants more than anything, but most importantly, where and even how to get it.

Cheeky shit, I like his way of thinking.
Let's hope he doesn't offend Frieza during the wedding though.
>>
>>4700601
A shame that Kazuma never got to see one of the best dragonball films ever produced, the most recent broly film.
Cheelai is best girl ok
>>
>>4700625
Android 18 is still reigning best girl.
She gave a short king a chance.
>>
>>4700616
He’d better hope not, although he’s smart enough to wait for the reception.
>>4700625
Hell the fact he missed Battle of Gods is a damn shame, and learning how much more powerful Saiyans can get would derail him. Personally I like that overall movie better, felt more old-school dragonball. New Broly felt more like the quality Z movies like Fusion Reborn, but was still amazing. I mean my top 3 are Battle of Gods,Super Broly, then Fusion Reborn at this point.
>>4700626
She did. But Videl best Z girl, until Super murdered her character as hard as they did Gohan’s.
>>
>>4700666
>She did. But Videl best Z girl, until Super murdered her character as hard as they did Gohan’s.
Don't you know? You're not allowed to be anything but a doting mother when you marry into the main cast.
It's the law.
>>
>>4700601
So, I’ll just say this now. Chilli’s wedding is going to be...eventful.
>>4700695
Sad truth, all because Toriyama can only write two different female types(and Chichi) with virtually zero overlap.
>>
>>4700785
The worst part is it would be so easy to make a prominent female fighter.
Literally write a decent character who does cool shit who also happens to be a female.
That last part is where a lot of writers fuck up now for some reason.
>>
>>4700804
>That last part is where a lot of writers fuck up now for some reason.
Because they make BEING female their main character trait. Like a moron
>>
>>4700855
Come on GD, we all know that people are allowed at most two character traits and "female" is one of them. The other one tends to be "has a kid". Or "wait who is this character? I never wrote them. Oh wait them. Yeah I don't care."

dude does some bitchin dbz art, ill admit
>>
>kazuma trying to kickstart main timeline bullshit
aw lawd, watching shit go down at the wedding is gonna be a massive shitshow.
>>
Less than 24 hours now before the next episode begins! However my own schedule’s a little unusual at the moment, so I want to let you all know ahead of time. This Saturday we’ll be running business as usual, I won’t be able to continue this Sunday or next weekend, for personal reasons. So Saturday, no Sunday, then the Saturday after that next week 153 will resume, on Easter weekend.
>>
>>4701281
If he was smart he'd ask about Bardock and Kakarot to try and determine what era he's even in.
For all he knows, we could be hundreds of years behind the canon timeline.
>>
>>4701281
He’s smart enough to wait for the reception, to mingle and meet the emperor. Remember, he only knows how canon, DBZ/GT Freeza acts. You damn well know he’ll be on his best behavior.
>>4701683
When the wedding comes around, he’ll know where he sits in the timeline. Remember who Chaya’s currently in a relationship with? Hard to mistake that mane for anyone else’s.
>>
>>4701998
Its not Kazuma that would fuck everything up for him, we all know Aqua is going to talk shit too Chilli in front of Freeza, trigger his PTSD, which in turn makes Freeza enter his secret, ANGRIEST UNCLE Mode.

Kazuma doesn’t even know Golden Freeza is a thing. His idea of maxed out power in Dragonball terms is still GT Gogeta. Speaking of which, that FighterZ Dramatic Finish is amazing, feels like the end of the game.
>>
>>4702501
As much as I appreciate the lengths ArcSys goes to incorporate hype shit in FigherZ, I'm still not a big fan of half the roster being Goku and Goku derivatives.
More to the point, I don't understand why so many transformations are made their own character slots.
That kinda logic makes sense in an arena fighter like the old Budokai games, but in a proper 2D fighter it gets real old real quick.
>>
>>4702501
I wish they wouldn't have made his supers so fucking boring to look at. His level one is garbage and anyone who says otherwise is shilling. And his level 3 while hilarious is just a meh beam.

I wish they would have made it red like the kaioken versions of the kamehamehas you got for SSJ4 Goku back in the Budokai games. But I guess the BBK was always blue so its whatever.
>>
>>4702517
>I'm still not a big fan of half the roster being Goku and Goku derivatives.
B-But it’s a Dragonball game. Remember how many different Gokus Tenkaichi 3 had?
And that’s an answer as old as time. Let me put on my UK accent, and, MERCHANDISING!
>>4702553
That’s because you’re not supposed to actually USE his normal supers. Level 7 OHKO all day every day. But at peast his moves are still more visually appealing than Mr Try Something himself. Not having his gif-related consecutive normal punches as -A- move is disappointing. Also before anyone asks no, I haven’t played since before Broly and Bardock released. But I do watch the hypest player
>>
>>4702602
>B-But it’s a Dragonball game. Remember how many different Gokus Tenkaichi 3 had?
Difference being that's the draw of those games, having almost fucking everybody playable.
I think the better way to incorporate every permutation of a character is making transformations work like installs in Guilty Gear, except you choose which transformation line you use before the battle.
During a match, if a transformation has multiple levels, have it change which happens when you do the input based on how much meter you have.
I don't understand why different transformations have to take up different character slots.
>>
>>4702602
>That’s because you’re not supposed to actually USE his normal supers.
The upgraded ones look almost exactly the same barring slight flair. Oooh the beam is a little more spiky and you get to see the fusees ooooh he punches instead of kicks. Or whatever. It's so boring.

Jiren got shit on pretty hard too but all but one move he pulls is literally "Punch" or "PUNCH" so he got shafted before he even hit the ground. Fuggin shitass writers.
>>
>>4702618
Jiren being in the game at all is a fucking travesty.
>>
>>4702617
>Guilty Gear
No idea.
>I don't understand why
Because they already basically have the model? Which is easier to make, one model with five ‘skins’ and move sets, or five models with one skin and move set each?
>>4702618
Not like GT Gogeta actually has any real moves in the show.
Jiren had his unnamed energy barrage, the scattered shots he sent out going full ‘Nam everywhere at UI Goku that would have looked amazing, or even his “Limit Break” Transformation explosion work as a power up like SuperBroly. But nah, they were too busy on UI Goku behind the scenes.
>>4702636
But if he wasn’t in the game, then you couldn’t Try Something
>>
>>4702645
>But if he wasn’t in the game, then you couldn’t Try Something
If he wasn't in the game, that would be a whole character slot that could be given to an actual character.
>>
>>4702645
>Not like GT Gogeta actually has any real moves in the show.
They could have given him a Stardust breaker as well. And made it not a shitty nothing like the one they gave Gogeta blue.

They could have done more silly combinations with some of Vegeta's moves. Like the Final Shine. Or Final Impact. He's got a lot of "Final"s don't he? If you wanted to be really cheeky you could do some bullshit Final Explosion/Spirit Bomb combination. If you're mixing techniques you've got a stupid huge pool to draw from.

Honestly fuck it, you know how cool a Galick Gun x20 would be? Purple with the red? Fucking stylish. Come on, literally anything more than "blue screen like literally every other goku". It hurts.

Not trying to sound like a dick or anything but when your selection for attacks is "just a buncha random ki blasts" you know you're scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel. It would still have been cooler than what he does get though and that really is sad. Jiren really does have literally nothing to work with though. Shit's not very cash money but that's how it is.
>>
SOON
>>
>>4702670
Like who? Raditz?
>>4702712
Gimmick characters usually don’t get a whole lot else added, especially when he’s either a dragonball or bar build assist. Unless their gimmick is being a goddamm train like og Broly.
>you know you're scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel
I picked that moment from 130 because it was already cinematic as hell. And for his ult they could have used that Broly-style, reality shaking ki bomb he drops on Goku at the end of 129. Even had the OWARI DA! when he fires. Now I’m not defending Jiren as a character, but he’s got some really good looking moves that could have been.

So hey, the Super manga revealed some interesting lore.

First, the Namekians aren't actually native to Universe 7. It's mentioned that they came from a realm outside of it and spread themselves across the universe. Which brings me to my next point. There's a set of Dragon Balls on Planet Cereal, the homeworld of the new antagonist Granolah. It's mentioned that the number of Dragon Balls in a set can vary, and Planet Cereal's set only has two small ones. There used to be a whole tribe of Namekians on the planet, but all that's left is one old guy who's the Guardian of that set.

Now I wonder. Does that mean Namekians originally came from Universe 6 and just so happened to move to Universe 7? Or did they originate from one of the 5 universes that Zen-O destroyed and fled there to survive? Or possibly even somewhere else?

So odds are, even if our main cast doesn't really learn about our universe's Dragon Balls (unlikely given Kazuma now), there's still a chance that Granolah could show up to be a problem down the line if he collects his planet's two Dragon Balls. The dude was able to wish himself into the strongest non-god warrior in the universe by shortening his remaining lifespan down to three years.

>The aboleths and other far-realm creatures are supposedly the "original inhabitants" from way back when Abeir-Toril was all one world, before the dawn war, though. I think that's where the aboleth population on Abeir comes from - they were always there.
Very interesting. Reminds me of times when they raised humans from a caveman level to make better slaves out of them.
>>4697434
>Hooo boy. You do remember there are Vox cameras everywhere now, right? Just because Karn doesn’t notice them doesn’t mean they aren’t around
He can record so much of material that can be potentially sold in great numbers. Now after the big victory even more people across the Universe may want to know more about Saiyans and other important PTO members that did important things during the war. Tamaraneans too, notable people like Arctus (unless he purposefully avoided cameras) and of course Lord Freeza. Wait now it's Emperor Freeza. Right?
Most people will know something about PTO, even in places you never heard of. PTO is now a major uncontested player in Universe 7.
>You’re on 4chan remember? Contrarian is king
Difference is refreshing.
>>4697434
>Given that, he could topple anyone currently active in his universe except for Freeza. And most of the other universes as well. Only beings on the level of Toppo, Hit, etc would be able to take him down.
That is really neat.
>>4699001
>But I can say that the lad has a plan. A very sneaky, conniving plan that’s just his style, and if it works will land him even more bank than his deal with Vanir.
I got a feeling he is going to surprise us. Kazuma's epilogue was very intriguing. Can't wait for the wedding.
>>4700997
Very nice art. I like this.
>>4703026
That's very interesting.
>Now I wonder. Does that mean Namekians originally came from Universe 6 and just so happened to move to Universe 7? Or did they originate from one of the 5 universes that Zen-O destroyed and fled there to survive? Or possibly even somewhere else?
That's a big question, does anything from those erased universes even survived? I mean when we saw Zeno's Erase in action it seemed to wipe out all including every inhabitant even outside of the erased universe. Literally all gone but the Angel.
Also SOON new episode will start. Can't wait.
