A trio of no good thieves rested at their camp in woods preparations for their next robbery well on their way. One was a man with short blue hair relaxed and seemingly carefree, another was a woman with long red hair anger issues evident with a bossy attitude to boot, the third was a Meowth a feline standing on 2 legs and speaking human a swindler and a sweat talker no doubt.

One of them decided to take a short walk away from their camp. Lucky them they made it just far enough for others not to hear them scream as suddenly images of events past and future flashed in their mind. Falling on their knees and panting they understood so much more and so much less at the same time one thing was clear attacking the Pokemon Center as planned was going to change their destiny forever. For better or worse it was arguable on one hand they would be tough as jokes by many, on the other hand they would be witnesses to important legendary events distressingly often. Thought something bothered them about the information something in the information did not quite add up, but they would need time to know what exactly.

Who was enlightened?

If I understand what's happened, we now know all about the events of the Pokemon anime series. In that case, we can always catch up with him later... But we know that facing Ash unprepared is a quick trip to repeated failure.

James managed his temples his head still ringing as he walked back to the camp. On the way he decided that not becoming clowns in the eyes of the rest of Team Rocket do to an obsession with a freakishly strong Pikachu would be worth venturing in to an unknown future.

Walking back to the camp clearing he saw his companions drinking tea by a fire. Jessie took a one look at him and frowned. "You look like something is on your mind."

Hearing that Meowth also spoke up. "Yeah. You looked a bit down. So spill it the last thing we need is uncertainty before we try to score big."

"Me down? What nonsense. I'm ju..." He then sighed. Figures that his mood was clear as day for those 2. So he took a breath and decided to stop lying s so badly.

"Yeah... I guess I am down just remembered some stuff some of it depressing." Not even technically a lie James patted himself on the back mentally. Now to change the subject entirely. "I was just thinking we have been attracting a bit too much heat lately we should go to ground for a while. Funds should not even be a problem the Pokemon Center heist is more for the rep than anything after all."

He could see Jessie's mood plummet like a falling star. He braced himself for the explosion. "What do you mean go to ground! The center was your idea in the first place! We won't become true elite agents without rep that would give us!" She grabbed him by the collar shaking him.

"I know, but we have attracted too much attention. When was the last time you have seen wanted posters plastered all over the place and local law enforcement actively on the prowl like a pack of Growlite for any of the elite operatives?" And as he blurted out he realized how true that was. None of the true elite rockets were involved in simple smash and grabs... Attest not as public one as theirs. "Our approach might be a dead end." He whispered under his breath.

Jessie heard him. Then she lost most of the angry spark and let him go. "I hate it that you are likely right about that." She slumped. "I still want to do this one. Maybe we wait a bit, but we are doing the heist soner or later." She said, and I remembered her muttering something about medical school. With the new context this one might have been a bit more personal for her that it might have seemed on surface.

"Then what should we do then oh wise one? If this path is a wash we need to do something else clearly, but we also need to continue contributing enough or our heads are going to be on the chopping block." Meowth butted in while studying his claws as a threat. He clearly was annoyed by the bickering.

Thought he was right we needed to still contribute to the organization.

Plus, it should allow her to blow off some steam, so to speak. Problem is, where can we find any contests in the Kanto region?
>>
>>4740228
Kanto has some contests per anime canon. Not that well explored and not many shown in gen 3 anime but they exist.

https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Ribbon

Here you can se some of the
Kanto ribbons. With links to town locations of them. There will be more original contest places of course but thise are the ones shown.

Also Jessies contest stuff wins. Hopefuly I will be able to write that in couple of hours.

Memories of alternate Jessie's stints in the contest scene bubbled to the forefront of James mind. That road was more than a little bumpy, and she never won the main festivals but... She made it to the main events in the first place which was more than most trainers could say.

"We try to take more of an informant roll while we are trying to lose some heat. Try to work our way up to being recognized as elite trainers and thus hang out in more elite company." He then dug out his own cup and started to make a cup of tea.

"You lost your mind? You said it yourself there is too much heat on us. Can't exactly waltz in a gym like nothing's wrong when wanted posters of us are everywhere." Meowth spoke clearly unconvinced.

"We can, but we would need to make disguises that can stand up to scrutiny long term first. How about it Jessie you think that's possible?" James knew it possible, but he had to sell this first.

"Maybe it will be lots of work thought." Was all she said while seep in thought. She then grimaced and wrinkled her nose. "I can take anything a gym leader can can throw at me no problem, but that does not particularly interest me."

"Then leave that aspect to me. There are more ways towards status than Indigo league after all. I have heard that high profile contest participants are more like celebrities than regular brutish gym trainers could ever be." The bait was in the water now was all James thought. He could particularly see daydream about fame and admiration of the masses. Jessie agreed trying the contest path almost immediately after.

The next day after a quick breakfast instead of doing the final prep for their heist as was planed. The gang started to plan their path towards fame. Meowth saw an advertisement add in the newspaper for a contest in Carmini Town in set in two weaks and their balloon should take them there in 3 or so days if they did not get distracted. Plenty time to get there and do preparations be it catching new pokemon or securing the believable disguises.

The town name brought an image of Smoochom and upset Jinx, but that should be a non issue if they did not do the same thing as the memories showed James, plus it was supposed to happen at least a couple of years in the future anyways, so nothing of note should happen there. Also, no chance of encountering the dweebs as they did not visit the place this league season.

James had a couple of hours to burn before they set off in their hot air balloon, so he decided to.
> Train Koffing if the info was right it was not that far from evolving. While it was umlikely to happen today helping it happen faster could not hurt.

I’m of the opinion that perusing the local Pokémon and fighting secluded but strong Pokémon is our best bet for not only gaining a Pokémon that has already shown promise, but training our Koffing against relatively high level opponents for this area.
Not sure if there’s a way to tell if Pokémon are strong without some sort of device other than observation of feats of capability, and unsure how the anime handles training. I’m assuming experience and training are one and the same here.

James set off in to the depths of Viridian forest. After a couple of minutes of quiet walking he got a bit bored, so he let Koffing out of his pokeball.

The purple sphere like pokemon with some vents for poisonous gasses to leave and a face large looked around and then happily floated to James with a big grin when it saw that there was no trouble. When it got close James taped Koffing lightly on its purple outer shell and said. "I am happy to spend tome with you too. We are looking for a new teammate to help us both."

At those words Koffing made a weird face and complex expression a bit happy to possibly meet a new friend a bit offended that I thought he needed help with anything. In the end they did not make a fuss. It did not take long for Koffing to notice something off the beaten path and tug for me to follow. Breaking the tree cover there was a clearing.

A weedle was lazing around on an old tree stump which was not unexpected Veridian was full of bugs after all. There next 2 inhabitants of the clearing where bigger surprises as they were much rarer in Kanto firstly there was a small bouncing figure of Spoink bouncing all over the place with seemingly boundless energy and off to the side next to an Orran berry bush was Numel feasting like there was no tomorrow.

If I was short on cash or still trying to butter up the boss I would have 100% tried to go after the Spoink or the Numel because they are rare in Kanto. Since I am not short on cash or trying to impress the boss right now I could just follow my gut instinct and my gut instinct pointed me towards the Weedle.

With only a small bit of consideration I decided to befriend them it had worked pretty often in the past according to the future info. As soon as I stepped in to the clearing not at all sneakily Spoink bounced out of the clearing spooked and Numel stopped eating in favor of observing me warily. The Weedle tensed on his tree stump preparing for a fight.

"Woah there no need for that I'm not here to harm you. I just want to talk." I raised up my hands up to be non threatening as possible Koffing floating behind me sounded confused at that. The weedle for their part also looked unbelieving. They made a questioning squeaking sound at me.

"I know how this usually goes with humans, but I have some questions." I sat down on the grass still some distance away from them. "Nice morning to relax isn't it." Thought it won't satay that way too long if the events that lead the dweeb to the pokemon center in the first place plays out the same. Mental note prepare rain clothing for later.

The brown caterpillar made an unsure but agreeing sound. Koffing lightly tackled my side and made a sound a chain smoker would be proud of. "Don't worry about it pall they either they come with us willingly or don't come at all." That seemed to placate them.

Having heard that Weedle actually looked calmer now. They knew what I wanted from this now. "So why are you here alone instead with the rest of your hive?" Weedle made an annoyed sound.

"You do not get along with them?" They made a neutral sound not quite yes or no. "So that's a sometimes. They annoy you from time to time?" This got a chatter of affirmation.

"You could come with me if you want to get away from them." That got an unimpressed squeak. "Yeah I figured can't fault me for trying at the first opportunity." The further conversation went back and forth while I manged to not botch it up the Weedle was a tough one to convince actually.

Then Koffing started to speak I did not understand what they spoke about, but something got Weedle excited. Koffing turned to me and bobbed up and down as pseudo nod. "You want to come with me now?" And I got a squeak of affirmation. Feeling just a bit overshadowed by my own pokemon I pulled out a ball and Weedle crawled up and taped its horn against the ball to catch itself.

Looking around the Numel had left at some point, so I decided to return to camp. For some reason I could not shake the feeling of being watched. When I could not take it anymore about half way back I called out. "Show yourself! I know you are there."

In response a small green fairly like pokemon materialized just couple of inches away my face scaring me. I fell backwards on my ass scared and my throat went dry when I processed with what I had come in contact with. A pouting and not at all pleased Celebi stared me down... Celebi’s presence is alarming. Not sure what’ll happen to us. Stay alert, but not hostile. We couldn’t do anything to them anyways. Don’t have a chance of fighting or running, but we just might be able to deceive or preserve our own agenda. Might being the key word here.

Mind racing I came upon a simple conclusion. I was so screwed it wasn't even funny. Being antagonistic would just hurt my already small chances of coming out of this intact and pretending to be ignorant would be foolish seeing as they came to me to ask this in the first place... So all that was left was honesty to possibly convince them that I was an ally and not worth being erased or mind wiped. I shuddered at that thought

I then got back on my feet and dusted myself off. "Went on a walk yesterday then a head splitting headache out of nowhere as information of the future poured in my mind. No idea why that happened."

It did not take a genius to figure out that Celebi hoped for more than that. [So you are not the true source of the change but just the result of something else.] They fluttered around me and a soft glow came to their eyes and a nearby tree became a pile of splinters like it was headbutted by a Rampardos. I swallowed my own spit seeing that little tantrum. [Disappointing.] And with that one word came a familiar feeling similar to me finding out that the supposed super rare bottle cap I tracked down for weeks for my collection actually was a common one bunch of kids talked up.

"So... Truce? I want to know the cause for this likely as much as you for obvious reasons. Did the timeline change for better or worse actually?" Please say yes please say yes... That was pretty much the only way.

[Better? Worse? I do not know it seemed just different right now, but I have not traveled all that much after the change. Only 1000 different time jumps.] Celebi then pondered something. [If you truly want to help go to the ruins of Pokémopolis in next Winter Solstice. Other helpers I will collect should be sent there.] Along with the mental message an image of a familiar set of ruins flashed in mind. [I will know if you decide to be naughty! So don't.] They then took off straight up and were gone in a flash.

I let out a breath that I was unknowingly holding. Back in the camp the preparations to leave were done and the balloon took off. I had more than enough time to before winter solstice.

Up in the air after adjusting balloons hot air burner once again, I started to correct our course we had been blown off path do to strong winds. It was obvious that the rain would start soon judging by the graying sky. "Jessie I think we need to find a place to hunker down unless we want to fly in bad weather." All she did was quietly nod as she took over the balloons command from me. Even she could not be grumpy 24/7.

Balloons basket space while not unlimited had more than enough space for the tree of us and couple more human sized creatures. Luckily my pokemon where not all that big.

With 2 flashes of light I was in the company of my pokemon. Weedle was on the basket floor and Koffing somehow floated in place not being left behind by the moving balloon I had learned to not question it some time ago.

"Hey who's the new gal?" Meowth asked while pointing at Weedle. All he got in response was a somewhat lazy if haughty call back. It made Meowth bristle. "What did you call me? Why you no good!" And he flashed his claws.

As a response Weedle horn started to glow purple. I scoped her up as fast as I could and the glow stopped as she looked at me confused. "No battling in the balloon. None of us wants to crash." She gave a grudging nod. "Meowth could you retract your claws please?"

He looked around and saw Jessie give us all a look that promising pain. "Fine... He then plopped down and pointedly ignored Weedles existence."

The balloon was uncomfortably quiet but then Koffing floated closer to us and made a funny face Weedle tried to resist but then started laughing. The next half an hour before landing was spent joking around the mood restored. I even showed Weedle my bottle cap collection. They seemed unimpressed.

The next couple of days of travel were peaceful if one ignored the bickering of Weedle and Meowth. Upon seeing Carmini Town come in to sight days later I decided that the first thing that I will do on arrival was...

"So lets go over what we know about pokemon contests." I said after setting up a bit more comfortable and long term base camp than usual as we will be staying for the next week and a bit at the very least.

"Pokemon contests are shows where contestants try to show off their pokemons natural appeal in front of an audience and a board of judges. The events divided in 2 main phases the talent show and the apeal battle. The main differences between a gym battle and the appeal battle section of the contest is that the contest is more if a mini tournament and that your main focus is not a knockout but dominating your opponent while looking good." Jessie replies while absentmindedly petting Ekans. The snake pokemon obviously was loving the attention given to them by Jessie. "I have to get a 2nd pokemon as Kanto contests use different pokemon for both stages. I have to acquire a costume for talent section part and up the grooming standards of Ekans and whatever other pokemon I will end up catching. Ekans will more than likely will be the one I use for battle section as he will have the most experience working with me and I dont trust a newbie to be able to follow my orders completely in battle right away." Hearing that the snake let out a pleased hiss at the shown trust.

I opened and closed my mouth like a gaping Magicarp not expecting that amount of knowledge from her. Noticing my reaction she smirked. "I am not clueless about the contest scene James. I was once asked to join a school friend on his journey as a coordinator. I refused due to persional reasons... Wonder how's Astin is doing these days." She then shrugged trying to look nonchalant, but something dark flashed across her face.

Thinking a bit more I mentally smacked myself. For all that knowledge crammed inside my head it was a nightmare to organize. Astin was such a minor footnote, so I did not remember that fact, but it was there along with the reason why she did not join him. She likely regrets not joining him in hopes of now failed Idol dreams. Not to mention that Jessie has an expired Hoenn contest pass somewhere for reasons not even reveled by the future info. Sometimes I feel like I am just as clueless as before.

"I suppose times a wasting. Let's start prepping." We have lots of stuff to do till the contest. Firstly I...

Leaning back against a tree with a sketchbook out James pondered about what he knew and wanted to make. Jessie had developed her personal style in the alternate future that reached its peak in Kalos in his humble opinion. While the contest outfits from Hoenn and Sinnoh where fine it was a bit too elaborate and the persona that came with those outfits tried to be too cutesy for Jessie's own sake. The less cutesy and more elegant look from Kalos allowed her to let a bit more of her true personality show and be more genuine up to a point. So it was a no-brainer that he should go with that as a basis of her contest persona. His pencil started to dance as he sketched the design if a dress and a small mask to go with that. Nothing too elaborate for now thought as there also is trying too hard.

When he was done sketching the design James opened the container where there should be some leftover cloth from his last disguise he made and realized that the fabric from that will simply not do much to his disappointment. The cloth was too rough and heavy for the dress. Looked like he had to go shopping. He quickly switched to an outfit that did not scream Team Rocket and went to City.

In the city he asked around and was directed to a neat little specialized shop selling quality fabric. It did not take him long there to find a nice purple that would do quite well for what he had in mind. Just as he was done looking around and about to go to cash register the bell by the shops doors rang as a new figure entered.

James looking back more as a reflex than true interest and was instantly rooted in the spot. Anabel the frontier brain and more importantly a psychic empath had entered the shop. James knew he should not be panicking but knowing and doing were tow radically different things.

She turned her head towards him and raised an eyebrow at him and shrugged. Waves upon waves of relief flooded James as she did not beeline to confront him.

> Bail do not risk being so close to a psychic more than you have to.

Now that he thought about it Anabel's Battle Frontier challenge was located not that far from this city. Heck one could consider it just a stone throws away. Just his luck encountering someone with psychic powers so soon after Celebi. That encounter still had his nerves shot.

James knew that this was an exceedingly bad idea but he decided that he was willing to risk it. If he pulled it off the possible upsides would be great. "Excuse me. Do you have a bit of time? My tames Jameson and I would like some training tips from such a famous Frontier Brain as you lady Anabel." He then faked a realization. "But you obviously do not have to. I do not wish to seem too pushy."

Anabel for her part just smiled a soft smile. "If I was not an empath I would have bought it hook line and sinker. Why are you here really even now you are scared of me deep down but you do not leave in haste. You instead approached me seeking benefits."

"Oh uh... To train and make sure to not flow a path full of mistakes." He blurted it. Thankful while true it had nothing to do with Rockets.

She chuckled to herself and said. "Funnily that felt truth full. East park in 3 days I will see if you are worth it then." She then turned to leave seemingly forgetting why she entered the shop in the first place. Just as she reached the doorway she stopped. "It is strange that you know about my status as Frontier Brain as Scott has not launched the project publicly and is keeping it all a secret for now. You should work on not divulging stuff. There's more than just emotion that gave you away." And with that she was gone.

After that train wreck of an encounter the rest of the day went much less stressfuly. It was nearing evening when Jessie finally returned from her trip. While she was not injured her clothes were dirty and ruffled up. What truly caught my attention was the Spearow circling around her as she walked back. They landed and Jessie gave them a bit of food. "Are you happy now? I went through lots of trouble for you." She asked them. Spearow's response was a chirp of contentment. She threw a pokeball with an obous amount of excessive force at the bird. The ball bounced off its head and only after one shake the bird Pokemon was caught. "Royal pain in my ass." She muttered to herself.

I supose whatever timeline cute is just somthing we dont do. Not like Jesie needs cute to be sucesfull judjing by the information.

Love and care tends to endear a Pokémon to a trainer quickly. The strength of our bond shall dazzle the audience and ensure our victory. That’s how these things work, right?

"String Shot drag them back to the ground!" I ordered and Weedle complied shooting strands of silk towards the flying Spearow.

"Evade and follow up with Peck!" Jessie called out and Spearow flied around the strands and then dove towards Weedle their beak glowing blue.

"Dodge!" I called out, but it was too late the peck connected and Weedle cried out in pain. Weedle was barely still in this fight by a sliver they were at a disadvantage both type wise and speed wise they had fought well, but it clearly would end only in defeat. So I called this mock battle over Jessie was the winner I was about to reassure that they did well, but before I could Weedle started to glow and shoot their stringshot all around themselves in a cocoon. With a flash Weedle was a Kakuna now.

I ran up to the newly evolved pokemon and lifted them up and spun them around in joy. "Well done girl. Now rest we have a groomer to show you off to bit later." I then carried her to a nearby tree where they string shot themselves to hang from a branch. Koffing was not far behind me and started to circle her while laughing and making faces.

Walking up to Jessie she was talking to her now puffed up Spearow. "You are not what many would call cute that's just a fact, but you are tough and intimidating, and we can focus on that. Growl, Peck and Lear are not the moves to challenge that notion with no matter how much you protest."

The spearow squawked in outrage. They then stated to hop around and beating wings while not taking off in the air some shining feathers floated around them gently. Spearow then stopped and gave Jessie a pointed look. "That was certainly impressive thought still not overly cute. What is it called Meowth? I haven't seen this one before."

Sperow gave out an angry chirp while glaring at Jessie for doubting their cuteness and Meowth translated that move as Feather Dance.

"Hate to interrupt this Jessie, but we need to go soon. I have a big list of groomers to check out and only so much time today."

Jessie got up from her crouching position and snatched the notepad with the list from my hands. She took a quick look at the entries and scoffed crossing out a big portion of the list. "James for how good you are at organizing stuff you sometimes are just emberasingly gullible. Most of these places clearly were either not qualified for serious grooming or where shady just by their description."

"Really? They all those crossed out places seemed reasonable enough." I said taking back the notepad. She had basically reduced the list to 3 places.

"I do not doubt they would look legit to you. You fall for scams trice a month at least if not stopped by us." Meowth remarked with a smirk.

James was only in the groomers waiting room for 5 minutes, and he was regretting getting up from sleep today. It went well enough at first him and Jessie arriving and waiting for their appointment. The problem started when the next 2 appointments arrived early.

To put it simply Jessie and the girl Sarv simply did not get along. "Excuse me? Don't be SALTY! What you said was very unholy of you." Also, the girl was obviously religious whitch also rubbed Jessie wrong thought not following any of the Kanto or Jhoto religions. The biggest give away was mentioning Arceus multiple times the god pokemon being very much not worshiped here.

"I will say damn well anything I wish. If I wish to say that you are crazed zealot I will!" Jessie shouted back, and I was starting to fear that it was going to become an actual brawl soon. Jessie would hospitalize the girl.

I turned my head to the other part of the pair that was just siting a bit away from the cat fight. He was observing the situation with an air of reassignment his gray hair made him look even more low energy than his slouching posture would. "Do you think we should break it up? They look like they will actually start trowing hands soon." I asked him hoping he would be foolish enough to get in the way of the tow.

He glanced at me and shrugged. "Probably but I do not enough energy for that. Thought if it actually comes to that I will do my job as Savr's bodyguard."

Taking that in to account I was about to interfere when the saloons rooms door was thrown open with a bang. "Keep it down, or I will throw your asses on the street." Said a middle-aged man with a curled mustache obviously fed up with the racket. Behind them a lady with a Growlithe all but ran to the exit to avoid the commotion.

That made the fight lose its steam almost immediately now they ignored each other. "Next appointment." The man said and Jessie got up. Later she exited actually looking pleased with the service. It was now my turn and I dreaded leaving Jessie and Serv without me.

"So lets see with what I have to work with release your pokemon." The man said. I let out Koffing and Kakuna.

The groomer firstly walked around Koffing studying their exterior nodding to himself and then asked Koffing to spit a bit of poison in a pre-prepared container for poison types. For Kakuna the process was a bit more hands on he was feeling up her shell with his palms and even tapped it in a couple of places that made her buzz each time he did so.

"Koffings pretty well taken care off its poison could be a tiny bit more potent, but that would require you to mix a bit of ground up coal in their usual food to quicken their internal furnace activity. Kakuna is obviously newly evolved the chitin is still a bit soft in some places do to that. Feeding them tow doses of vitamins for bug types bought from the medicine lady next door could help with that. I swear by the quality of her traditional medicines." Then started to instruct me how to polish Koffing without causing him to let out extra smoke do to wrongly aplied presure. Over all, it was a good investment coming here even with the annoyance.

Upon the exit if the shop Jessie turned to me. "We have to put that annoying zealot in her place."

We already seem to be changing drastically in terms of personality. I’d like to keep up this more pragmatically amoral persona we seem to be displaying to our teammates. What would be the point of stealing Pokémon we don’t know the rarity and prestige of? She seems to be from Sinnoh, or at least have a familiarity with their religion, so for all we know she could have anything from a Bidoof to a Gible. Not to mention we would be displaying our status as crooks.
Maybe we can break even for the price of the groomer appointment.

Also, if the battle smooths things over, perhaps we could network in Sinnoh preemptively through her. Gain a friend or acquaintance, learn a little more about the theology of our world and Sinnoh, possibly have an in with a public organization such as a church or a museum. Who knows where this could lead us?

Looking at her, it was obvious she needed to work it out of her system. Constantly irritated Jessie is a Jessie that makes everyone else around her miserable. "Yeah we do. Nobody disrespects us like that and gets away with it." Said Meowth.

Seeing that Meowth also wanted petty revenge too there was only one course of action available to me. Not that I much minded the direction this situation was going. "I agree she was quite insufferable. I am quite sure that Jessica can beat her down in battle any day of the weak." Just because he was sure that nobody was spying on them did not mean he could be careless and drop the code names.

"Huh. What do ya mean battle? Aren't we doing our usual thing?" Meowth asked sounding confused.

"We do not know if she even has anything of any real worth and besides can't risk this whole new direction over a petty grudge." I shrugged. Returning to the old pattern so soon seemed like a waste to him. "What do you think Jessica? Up to introducing the zealot to bitter taste of defeat?"

She had a vicious smile. "I am. Miss 'holler than thou' will regret crossing me."

"Great! Now let me go to shop next door to buy some vitamins for Kakuna. Anything you need from there?" I asked and she shook her head in negative.

"Wait what aren't you going to confront her with us?" Feline once again asked.

"We got time she will be in the groomer's saloon longer than it takes me to buy the vitamins." And even if not it's not really that big a deal. Thought I did not say that out loud as that would piss off Jessie.

About 10 minutes later exiting the store run by a nice old lady and her grand children helping her with lifting things. I saw Jessie and Meowth were still waiting outside Groomers shop. They gave me bored looks and I shrugged rejoining with their group.

It took a while yet for our target to exit. Seeing us outside she did a double take and her companion visibly tensed. "I challenge you to pokemon battle!" Exclaimed Jessie dramatically pointing a finger at her temporary nemesis."

"I am afraid that as her bodygu-" The gray haired man was interrupted mid-sentence by a hand on his shoulder by Sarv herself.

She shook her head at him. "That's okay Ruv
I would be more than happy to accept the challenge on this blessed day. Arceus truly has blessed me today with a chance to enlighten the ignorant." She said with a gentle smile that for some reason had a dangerous edge to it. "What are the terms of this battle?"
