You are Penelope, rookie Pokemon trainer starting her journey in the Delian Region, to challenge the Pantheon (Gym leaders) for the honor of competing in the illustrious Battle Temple to be crowned the next Pokemon Champion.

General Rules:
Dice rolls are best of 3; unless otherwise stated.
Write-ins are encouraged and welcome: suggested actions and dialog especially, so long as they are in the same vein of the winning options. I will do my best to work in such options, though I might make alterations to better fit characterizations.

Previously: After receiving a few gifts from mom, you left to visit Professor Olive and received your first Pokemon, a Cubchoo you named Chilly. Along the way, you had your first battle. met some interesting folks along the way, and met a friendly Audino who healed up Chilly.

As you resumed your way to Pirus City, your first stop on your journey, you sought to find another challenger to battle in hopes of gaining a bit more money before hitting up a PokeMart for some Pokeballs....

You recall Chilly to his Pokeball as you return to the main route. Thanks to Audino, you're looking to get Chilly some more experience in battle and maybe even earn a little cash on the way. There's bound to be a few more lingering trainers along the route for you to battle.

And as luck would have it, you see someone standing on the road side. She seems to be searching through some bushes, when she notices you coming up.

"Hi-ya! How's it going?" She says with a spring in her step. Her wild and stylish hair bounces with each of her exaggerated movements.

"Uh, Hi. Are you alright?" You ask.

She gives a quick nod. "Yeah, great! I was just looking around the bushes to see if there were any berries around these parts. You don't often find them, cause the local Pokemon grab them early, followed by early rising Trainers. Would do that myself but," She points up to her hair. "When you want to look this amazing, you require a full morning."

"By the way, I'm Penelope." You wave.

"Andreanna! Please to meet you." She poses with her arms on her hips. "So, then, I take it you're a trainer right?"

You nod. "Yup. Just got my-"

"Then you know what that means!?" She pirouettes and again poses. "We should have a battle!"

...Not quite how you were going to approach it but hey, you were looking for an opponent right?

"I accept your challenge." You say with a wide smile.

"Great! How many Pokemon do you have?"

"Just one at the moment." You say.

"Ah, a newbie? Very well. Lets see how you handle yourself." She goes to her belt, where she already has 3 Pokeballs. She picks out the one in the center. You retrieve Chilly's Pokeball and the two of you prepare to battle.

"Lets go Chilly!"
"Come out, Nibbles."

The two of you toss out your Pokeballs and your Pokemon take the field.

Your Cubchoo lands on his feet with a joyous smile as small, pink Pokemon lands with a growl and snap of the jaws.

"Aw, Nibbles. Be nice, er, well polite at least. It's time for a battle!" She cheers.

"Snub." The small Pokemon licks his nose and puffs itself up, It seems to be intimidating Chilly. His hits might not strike with as much power.

"Come one, Chilly. We can do this!" You call out, hoping to keep him motivated. Despite the small set back, it appears that Chilly is faster than the Snubbull. So how should you proceed?

As the saying goes, turnabout is fair play.

"Chilly, use Growl!" The small cub's usually relaxed and joyful demeanor disappears as he stares down the tiny pink pooch. He grits his teeth and lets out a snarling growl.

"Nibbles, use Scary Face!" Andreanna calls out.

Snubbull braces himself in a squatting position and scrunches up his face, attempting to come off as intimidating as possible.

Chilly, however, raises his voice louder' giving out a roar that belies his actual size. If you were wondering in the woods and heard that sound, would expect to run into a raging Ursaring, instead of a tiny little furball.

Apparently that sentiment is shared by both Andreanna and Nibbles, as his attempted Scary Face fails and he flinches.

[Nibbles attack was lowered.]

"Uh, Its ok, Nibbles. Just hang in there." She calls out trying to reassure the small dog.

Chilly is looking pretty good and with Nibbles clearly on the back foot. So how are you going to proceed?

With the rhythm of the battle currently in your favor, you give Chilly the go ahead to go on the offense.

"Chilly, Use Powder Snow!"

He gives a nod, taking in a deep breath. He unleashes a small concentrated snow storm at the little dog.

"Nibbles, uses Tackle!"

Andreanna's Pokemon goes charging forward at Cubchoo, his lower fangs glowing. As he moves in, the gale of frost collides with the pink pooch, slowing down his assault. His charge is hindered and slowed, but eventually strikes Chilly. Your little polar cub slides back on his heels, but not nearly as badly as you feared. The little guy is still looking good, though you don't think the same can be said about Snubbull. The small dog is shivering a bit. While he's not frozen, he definitely felt the sting of the cold.

"Wow, for a newbie, you're Pokemon's pretty tough. Come on Nibbles! Lets show her our true power!" Andreanna does a little dance pose before she gives her next order. "Bust out your Charm attack!"

Snubbull starts to shake out of its shivering, preparing to use his next attack. What are you going to do?

"Snubbull"

Andreanna's Pokemon straightens up and softens its expression. Gone is the aggressive snarling face, and replaced with a more playful disposition of a lap dog.

Chilly seems thrown by this move and relaxes his stance.

[Chilly's Attack sharply fell.]

With Chilly's Attack being heavily lowered, you would normally be concerned, but as luck would have it, his only offensive option namely focuses on his Special Attack stat, which hasn't been effected. Still, you make a mental note of Andreanna's strategy for future reference.

"Chilly, don't lose focus! Use Powder Snow again!"

The little Cubchoo blinks and shakes his head. Seems like he was distracted by the shift of tactics from Snubbull. He takes another deep breathe and blows quickly breeze of snow towards the small puppy Pokemon.

Nibbles notices the attack and makes an attempt to move out of the way. While the snow hits its mark, the Snubbull's semi-quick thinking prevents the attack from hitting with the same amount of force as before. Still you're noticing he's moving much slower than earlier.

"Come on, Nibbles. We can turn this around! Don't lose hope!"

"Snub-bull." The dog replies, shaking off the snow from his fur.

If you had to guess by Andreanna's pattern of battling, you'd figure the pint size Pokemon will probably go on the offense this time. It might be a good idea to prepare for that, but on the same note; Nibbles looks like he's in rough shape and another Powder Snow should do it. Which instinct will you go with?

Snubbulls squats and stares at your bear cub. It looks like your instincts were on the money as he appears to be waiting for the attack order.

"Use Bite! Show'em why you're called Nibbles."

The fangs of his under bite grow and give off a faint glow as he sprints towards Chilly.

"Chilly, use Endure!"

Your Cubchoo braces himself for the incoming attack, bringing his arms up to his head, like a boxer. Nibbles lunges forward, leading with his agape mouth. His jaws sink into Chilly's forearm causing him to recoil and wince under the pressure of his attack. Snubbull starts to shake his head back and forth but his grip isn't as solid on Chilly's fur.

"Shake him off Chilly." You call out.

"Keep him in your jaws!" Andreanna follows you, but by the time she finishes her orders, Snubbull's grip loosens too much and he loses his hold on Chilly. Your Cubchoo takes a few steps back from the small Pokemon. While it doesn't seem like the bite had too much of an effect on Chilly, your little bear's starting to breath a bit heavier. At the same time, it would seem Nibbles is in the same boat; maybe even worse so as he too is starting to get winded, but with heavier breathes. Funny enough, Nibble's breathe is visible, probably from getting a mouthful of cold.

What's your next move of action?

"Chilly, lets cool off Nibbles with one more Powder Snow!"

Chilly takes a deep breathe as he builds up the power for his attack.

"Nibbles use your Tackle attack!" Andreanna calls out.

Nibbles attempts to regain his footing and runs towards your Cubchoo. Chilly, however has been able to maintain his speed advantage. He lets out a small roar with his snowy barrage. The snow catches Nibbles head on, causing the pink Pokemon to spin on his heels. Nibbles eyes start to get spiraled as he's thrown off balance and stumbles backwards.

"Snub-Snub...Bull." Nibbles can no longer keep himself up and falls forward, out cold.

"Oh no. Poor Nibbles." Andreanna says, her hands on her cheeks. She takes out his Pokeball and recalls him.

"Good job, Chilly."

Chilly raises his hands up in victory, with his little nose mucus swinging.

Andreanna approaches you and gives you a handshake. "Wow, nice fight. I have to admit, I didn't expect you to be so good."

"Thanks. You were quite tough." You reply. "Sorry that I interrupted your berry searching."

"Oh, no biggie. I challenged you remember! I was getting frustrated, unable to find any that I figured I'd work some of it off." She wipes her forehead. "Sure enough, you gave me and Nibbles quite the work out."

"So were you planning on sticking around here then?" You ask.

She gives a nod. "Yup. I'm hoping there's something around these parts that the wild Pokemon haven't already snatched up. What about you? Heading for the Pokemon Center in Pirus?"

"Heading to Pirus City's Pokemon Center sounds good to me." You rub the top of Chilly's head. "How about you little guy?"

Chilly gives a tired but positive affirmation. You take his Pokeball and recall him. "Enjoy your rest."

Andreanna smiles and nods. "Sounds good. I might see you there later. Depending on how long it takes me to find these berries." She stretches. "Though after a battle like that, I might take a much needed break. Oh! One more thing," The girl dives her hand into her bag and rustles around with it for a bit. "How about you give me your number? That way we can battle again."

You take out your Rotom phone and the two of you swap your numbers.

"That way we can battle again in the future!"

"Sure! That sounds fun." You nod. "I hope to have caught another Pokemon by then too."

"Great! I can't wait!" Andreanna does a small hop with a fist pump in the air.

The two of you say your goodbyes and you head towards Pirus City.

Just over an hour later at a steady pace...
The road to Pirus calm and uneventful the rest of the way, a faint breeze keeping the heat of the afternoon sun in check. You catch the outskirts of the town on the horizon; a cobble stone lined road guides you through to its rustic country buildings with a scenic view of the coastline, a fair walks away from the town and to the hilly plateau just to the west of town. The city's older style gets more modernized the deeper you head in. Before long you reach the major streets, teeming with life; with folks going about their days. Looking ahead, it doesn't take long to catch a glimpse of the rooftop of the Pokemon Center, just a ways up the road. Additionally, you take note that there's a Pokemart not too far as well as a few other local hot spots.

Where would you like to go to first?

Getting Chilly healed up is probably for the best, so you make your way over to the Pokemon Center first and foremost. With a gentle chime, the doors slide open and you enter inside. The building is far more spacious inside than it looks like from the outside. That said, its only sparsely occupied; only two or three trainers in addition to the woman in pink and white clothing behind the counter. She gives you a bow as you approach.

"Welcome to the Pokemon Center, I'm Nurse Joy. How can be of assistance?"

"Hi. I'd like to check in my Pokemon for treatment." You hold up Chilly's Pokeball. Nurse Joy brings over a small tray suitable for six Pokeballs and you place yours inside it.

"Don't worry, we'll take good care of your Pokemon." She again bows. "The wait shouldn't be too long if you'd like to have a seat."

"Actually I was meaning to head to the Pokemart. Is it ok to leave my Pokemon here?"

The nurse smiles and nods. "Of course, we make sure to keep all trainers Pokemon safe in our back storage area. Only staff are permitted back there. She takes the tray with Chilly's ball on it and turns to hand it over to a large egg shaped Pokemon.

"Here, Chansey. Please take this to the back for treatment."

"Chansey!" It says, smiling, turning around and heading to the back area.

"Your Pokemon will be ready by the time you return." Nurse Joy smiles and nods.

"Thank you. I'll be back shortly."

You take your leave from the desk and head back towards the entrance. Taking out your Rotomphone, you check your personal funds.

[Current Balance: 650 Pokebills]

Well, thats not too bad. You should be able to pick up more than a few necessities. As you go to put your phone away, you get a video phone call...Hmm? Oh it's Professor Olive.

"Hi! Penelope? Its me." She says with a wide smile; her cheeks a tad flush.

"Oh hello, Professor. Is everything alright?"

"Actually not quite." She gives a sheepish laugh while rubbing the back of her head. "You see, when I gave you your starter Pokemon, I kinda forgot to give you a set of Pokeballs." She hangs her head, attempting to hide her embarrassment. "I've been so caught up in my research that I completely forgot to get those to you and the others."

"Ah, I was just about to go purchase some from the Pirus Pokemart." You admit.

"Wow! You're already at Pirus City?" She says surprised. "Well, you don't waste anytime now. I manage to catch Paris, since he's still in town and only just manage to get a hold of Kalli before she made it too far into the wilderness. If you like, I can message the Pokemart to give you a set of five balls, billed to me of course. I wouldn't want you to have to use too much of your own funds on my mistake."

You smile. "Thats very kind of you. Thanks."

"Hey-hey. No problem. As your resident Professor its my job to be a responsib-oh, uh hold that thought!"

There's a faint sound of something falling over and what sounds like several Pokemon making a racket in the background.

"Professor?"

"Oops. uh, Sorry! I need to take care of-Ah! I've got to go! I'll send that mess-"

With that, the call cuts out. Well, it certainly seems like the Professor Olive has her hands full. On the plus side, you just saved yourself a nice chunk of change. Hmm, that'll give you a chance to pick up some other necessities.

Exiting the Pokemon Center, you head on down the street, straight to the mart.

Upon your arrival, you head inside and straight towards the front desk. Looking around, you don't initially see anyone around, so you ring a small bell on the counter.

"One moment please." You hear someone from the back room.

You scan the store briefly before you finally catch an older gentlemen heading towards you.

"Welcome. How can we help you today?"

"Hi, I'm Penelope. I was wonde-"

"Ah, So your the young lady. I just got off the phone with that Olive gal." He gives a slight chuckle. "Poor woman's got herself in quite the pickle, but she manage to explain the situation for me."

"A Pickle?"

"Eh? Oh about them Pokeballs. Heh, Not all that surprising. That youngster would leave her head on the bus if it weren't attack and a Pokemon went by." He walks over towards a shelf behind the counter and picks up five pokeballs.

"Alright, that should cover it." He places them on the counter in front of you. "Will that be all for you today or were you thinking of pick up any other additional purchases today?"

Hmm, a good question. You could always save your money, but a few items couldn't hurt either. Maybe even a few more Pokeballs, just in case.

You've been a bit curious about this app you over head being talked about. Seems like other trainers have been using it to locate items in the wild. Only time will tell if it proves useful to you, but since you're going to be out frequently, it might not hurt to have it.

Asking around locally, you bump into a few people who direct you to a small shop call Digger's Lost n Found. You head over and find a large, jolly man inside and ask him about the app.

"Ah the Dowsing App huh? Glad to see so many young folk interested in our app."

"Well, I really don't know much about it, I've just overheard a few things. Could you tell me more?"

"Of course. We're quite proud of it. Its was initially designed for aiding miners and hikers that traverse the local mountain ranges, primary in finding evolution stones, nuggets and various other items under ground. But we quickly found that they're quite useful in aiding in the discovery of various items in the wild. Since then, many trainers have been interested in use it."

"So it can be used for more than just finding lost Pokeballs?" You ask.

He gives a fairly loud laughter "Quite a bit more but so far the only thing it can't do is locate biological items." He gestures to your Rotomphone. "So, what do you say? Interested in using our app?"

You had initially past by it, but there's a good chance that the Rockslide Caves would have decent selection of Pokemon that you could catch. Before heading out, you double check your gear, making sure you have everything on you, including your flashlight and the means of a campfire. It will most likely start getting dark while you're up there. Once content you have all your necessary provisions for your journey, you take off.

Backtracking your way north is a simple enough task. There does seem to be a bit more people on the path though as other trainers seem to be heading to Pirus City, probably to visit the Pokemon Center to rest up and heal their Pokemon. Your fairly certain of it, as you don't notice anyone stopping to battle, instead opting to travel in small groups, chatting up their activities of the day.

Its not too long before you reach the fork in the road that you passed before, the large hills that lead to the rocky formation just off to the east. Heading over you start making your way towards the Caves.

The path leading up to Rockslide isn't nearly as thick with trees and quickly the rockier formations start to become more noticeable. Following your GPS setting, you look for the main cavern opening that the area is named for. As you search, you consider that their might be some more Pokemon in the outskirts that might prefer the open areas opposed to the darkness of the caverns. Do you take the opportunity to look around out here or maintain you current task of heading for the Caves?

Doing a quick look around the area would give you an idea about what kind of pokemon you could expect to see around here, plus it would give you a good opportunity to test out your new Dowsing App.

So first things first, lets get a look at some of the Pokemon in the area.

With your Rotomphone out, you boot up your Dowsing app. You follow the instructions of the app and immediately get a blip and ping! Oh, well that was quick. Nice to see this new app seemed to work well. Lets go see what you found.

You start to follow the direction of the blip while doing your best to keep an eye on your surroundings. The terrain has some erratic elevations, namely small rocky hills and boulders that jut out of the ground. It would be easy to accidently trip over one of these if you weren't careful. As you search the area, you hear the sounds of something moving around. You round parts of the hilly terrain and find a quadraped pokemon slowly walking around, its large stone scales scraping along stone in its path. You quickly switch to your Rotom's Pokedex.

[Rhyhorn. The Spikes Pokemon. Strong, but not too bright, this Pokémon can shatter even a skyscraper with its charging tackles.]

An impressive sized Pokemon, but it doesn't seem to notice you right now. But it does momentarily stop and rub its horn against another rock sticking out of the ground. You're not sure if this is a mean of marking its terrirtory or if its sharpening its horn, but one things for sure, if the Dex entry is accurate, you might not want to make any sudden moves that could provoke it. For now, you make sure to avoid being in its path. As you watch the large stone beast continue scrapping against the rock, you hear some other sounds coming from the left. You again swing your phone around to see if you can pick up what it is.

You almost miss it, as its small frame blends in with some of the small rocks along the ground, surrounded by the unkept grass.

[Aron. The Iron Armor Pokemon. It usually lives deep in mountains. However, hunger may drive it to eat railroad tracks and cars. ]

Huh. While Rockslide is part of a mountion, you have to admit you wouldn't have expected to see something like this so close to the forest areas. By the looks of it, its sniffing the ground and occasionally digging at patches of grass. It occasionally nuzzles its nose along stones but seems to lose interest and make its way from rock to rock.

Hmm, you look over some of the information your Dex displays and both appear to be sturdy defensive Pokemon. Either would make a great additon to your team. Well, you should have some time to decide which to go after, but first lets find that spot the Dowsing app detected something.

You make sure give each of the Pokemon their space. No need to startle them, causing them to attack or run. Just play it cool. Pushing forward with your dowsing app, you eventually come close to a small ledge. Well, this appears to be the spot, now just to look around and see what's here. Leaning down you start to move around grass and rocks. Hmm, pity the app doesn't tell you exactly what you're looking for...hmm, what's this?

(continue...)
>>
Pushing a few dirt covered stones out of the way, you find what looks to be a mushroom; a cute tiny mushroom. Is this what the item detected? Hmm, now that you think about it, you've heard that mushrooms like this are sought after by gourmets and aroma ladies. Because of that reason, they tend to sell well.

You bend down to reach for it. It doesn't take much to pull it out.

[TinyMushroom added to inventory.]

As you place it into your bag, you notice a small shadow lurking over you on top of the small ledge. There looks to be a grey stone above you that you didn't notice before and it seems to be moving back and forth. Oh no, is it going to fall on you?!

You get up from your kneeling position and move backwards.

There's a faint, questioning sound, coming from the small rock. You try to get a better look and notice a inquisitive looking face looking at you. Your reach for your Dex and scan it.

[Bagon. The Rock Head Pokemon. Because Bagon dreams of being able to fly, it regularly practices by leaping from cliffs.]

Huh. Is that why its up on the ledge...wait a second. Where did it go?

It seems to have walked away from the ledge you were underneath. Darn it! You didn't mean for it to get away. But, as you start to pout, you hear a faint sound of what could pass as a roar.

"Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay..." Huh, it sounds like its coming closer. Hold on, 'regularly practices by leaping from...' Oh geez, time to move! As you sprawl to get out of the way, you catch sight of the small blue Pokemon leaping into the air. It gets some good distance, but without wings to fly...it doesn't seem to stay in the air for very long. Bagon falls towards the ground and crashes. His landing looks pretty rough, but it gets back with almost little effort or concern for its own health.

The ruckus seems to have drawn the attention of the Rhyhorn as turns to face over with some curiosity. The Aron is still in the area as well, also attracted by the sound of the collision.

Well, you came looking for Pokemon and there's quite a selection here for you right now. Which ever one you go for, the battle might scare off the others, all things considered. Unless you can think of another way to garner their attention without scaring them.

>Rhyhorn seems strong and fairly even tempered, It could make a good addition to your team.

While each of the Pokemon have qualities you like, the Bagon is too good to pass up. What were the chances of a Dragon type Pokemon in this area?

Still the little dragon is almost ignoring you as it goes back to reclimb the ledge. You're not sure what it's trying to accomplish by consistently jumping only to crash on the ground over and over again.. Still it seems determined. This behavior, oddly enough, doesn't seem to entirely bother the other two Pokemon.

So you have some options. You could try to use a Pokeball on it while its's not expecting it. Wait till Bagon drops or when it hits the ground to catch it. Of course, you could always send out Chilly to battle it. He would have the type advantage so it shouldn't be difficult, right? Perhaps you could tempt it with a snack. You have some Pokemon food, but how much do dragon types eat? Hopefully enough for both Chilly and the Bagon.

Well, what should you do?

>Wait till Bagon goes for another jump and try to catch it then.
>Send out Chilly and challenge it to a battle.

Hmm, you might be able to get Bagon with some food; the little dragon's got to be hungry from constantly jumping and crashing.

Just as you finish your train of thought, Bagon comes down once again. You take this as your cue. Digging into your bag your take out some Pokemon food and set it out.

"Hey there. Are you hungry?"

Bagon's a little slow to pick itself back up and turns towards to as it shakes off the cobwebs from its latest crash. It gives you a curious look as its nose moves up and down, sniffing your offering. You've never noticed that this stuff has a certain smell to it. Its not terrible, but its supposedly what Pokemon like.

As Bagon makes its approach, you notice Aron approaching closer. It seems to have caught a whiff of the Pokemon food and is investigating. As it does so, Rhyhorn gives out a low bellow and shakes its head. As it does, you notice some of the larger stones in the area start to move and rise up. It would seem that this entire area is a nesting ground for the Rhyhorns. Much to your surprise though, they don't seem as interested in the Pokemon food. It looks like the herd is moving on. Maybe the ruckus of Bagon was too much.

Speaking of Bagon, it seems to be helping itself to the food you've set out and its quite content, if not a little bit of a porker.

"Hungry ain'tcha?" you say smiling down at the little dragon stuffing its face but turn your attention back up to the ledge. "So you wanna fly huh?"

It looks at you, with its mouth stuffed full.
"Bay."

Hm, perhaps that might be the angle you need to get Bagon on board with allowing it to be its Trainer. In the meantime, Bagon's attention is again pulled away as it lets out a low growl. Aron seems to have set its eyes on the container that the Pokemon food came in. Hmm, didn't the Pokedex entry mention that they're big on metal? Well it seems like it's trying to get closer but Bagon looks like he's not too keen on sharing the free food you've offered up.

>Don't interfere, see how the two Pokemon deal with this situation.
>Push the nearly empty metal can closer to Aron. That should be enough to keep the two from getting in a fight.
>Tell Bagon that there's nothing wrong with sharing food with a friend.
>Put the metal can away. If Aron doesn't smell it, maybe it will lose interest and walk away.

[And your faith is rewarded]

To prevent any unnecessary conflicts, you raise up your free hand.

"Easy now. Aron's not trying to take your food." You reassure it offering a gentle smile. "Besides, there's nothing wrong with sharing food among friends."

You push the empty metal can towards the Aron. The small shelled Pokemon's moves over towards the offered can and sniffs it. It starts nibbling on it, partially perching on it while the can rolls. Bagon keeps an eye on the Aron as it chews its latest mouthful. While not making any reactions, it seems that Aron's new found interest in the can has satisfied Bagon and he continues to stuff his face with the remaining Pokemon food. Well, it looks like both parties are currently satisfied and any unnecessary fighting has been placated.

Aron makes short work of the can and looks around. Once it seems takes in that there's no more metal to munch on, it resumes its earlier search for more. As for Bagon, he plops himself down, contently filled from the meal.

"I take it that you enjoyed it?" You chuckle. Bagon doesn't move around a much, but lets out a satisfied sigh.

Things seem to have settled down. Bagon's not running around like he was earlier, so maybe now would be the best time to try and catch it.

"So, trying to figure out how to fly huh?"

Bagon blinks a few times, eating seemed to be quite the distraction to his previous preoccupation with jumping and falling. He turns to look over to the small ledge that he'd been using as a spring board for his attempts of flight when there's a sudden rustling from a tree nearby. Bagon tilts his head towards the sound, his eyes wide. You wonder what's got him so worked up. Your question's answered when A Spearow flies out of a tree and takes off towards the tree line back towards the forest. Bagon plops back up to his feet and hops while flapping his arms up and down rapidly.

"I'd be willing to help you with that if you're interested." You smile, hoping to coax him into following you. "It'll take some time but I'm sure working together we could make it happen."

Bagon turns his attention back towards you, his expression emanating an air of optimism and curious wonder. Is he considering the prospect?

Do you wish to say anything else that'll help sway him or let him make the decision on his own?

"So, how about it? Come with me and together, we'll reach the skies." You say with a wide smile. "It'll be a long journey but I know we can make it happen. So what do you say, Bagon? Will you come along with me?"

Bagon looks at you; contemplating your words. It looks back up to where it saw the Flying pokemon, the ledge it was jumping from and back to the disappeared pile of food.

"Yes, there will be more yummy food as well if you come with me."

He flaps his arms again with a smile beaming with determination. He gives you a nod.
You take out your pokeball. "Well then its settled. My name's Penelope. Welcome to the team Bagon." You give the ball a gentle toss and it boops Bagon on the nose. He glows red and is drawn into the Pokeball. It falls to the ground and gives a few shakes...1....2...3...*ping*

[Bagon has been captured!]

Well it looks like you've got your second Pokemon friend, one with his own dream to accomplish. You hope that you can help him reach it.

The sky's starting to grow dark. There's no sign of Aron and the herd of Rhyhorn's appears to have moved on for the night. You should consider where you want to make camp for the evening.

For the sake of safety, finding the entrance of Rockslide Cave would probably be the best option. Stashing your new Pokemon's pokeball onto your belt, you head off and begin looking around the area before it grows too much darker. Having your Rotomphone helps make things easier, so as to avoid tripping over rocks that stick out from the ground and other particular hazards.

Looking for the larger parts of the mountains, its a good thirty mins before you find the make shift path to the entrance of the caves. The looking end of the day sky behind you makes it difficult to see but you still manage to make it to entrance.

As you slowly approach, you hear the faint sounds of rocks sliding. You look around to make sure its not coming from some place close to you. Well at least you figured out why they call this place Rockslide. Darting into the entrance, the growing drarknesss from outside only hinders your ability to see too far inside. Even with the phone, its difficult to see your surroundings. It gives you a bit of an uneasy feeling, but you chalk it up to being homesick. You've been away from home before, but never for a great length of time like this. Seems like something you'll have to get used to.

You set up your camp near the entrance, granting you some shelter while being able to have a small campfire to keep you warm. To keep your mind off things, you try to think of a name for your Bagon.

So what should you name your Bagon?
